00:06:53.000 And it's Willie Nelson.
00:06:55.000 But it's not just his music that I grew up listening to and that I love.
00:06:59.000 It's not just the films he's been in.

00:07:28.000 Willie Nelson, thank you for spending time with myself and the audience.
00:07:31.000 Well, thank you, Alex.
00:07:32.000 No, no, I was enjoying that introduction.
00:07:35.000 Thank you.
00:07:35.000 Well, you deserve every bit of it, sir.
00:07:39.000 Thank you.
00:07:40.000 I'm glad to be on your show.
00:07:42.000 I'm a big fan and have been for years, and I've watched your videos and listened to you on radio, and I'm always checking in to see what you're doing, and you're doing a great job.
00:07:53.000 That's amazing.
00:07:54.000 It humbles me.
00:07:55.000 I better do a really good job of Willie Nelson's tuning in, along with the Japanese Parliament, every day.
00:08:01.000 Willie, this is a quick segment.
00:08:03.000 We're going to come back in a long 20-minute segment, but I asked you before the interview, I said, what do you want to talk about?
00:08:07.000 And you said, whatever you want to get into.
00:08:10.000 Let's talk about some fun stuff first.
00:08:12.000 Tell me about what the band's doing, your new song, Grave Digger.
00:08:17.000 What's going on?
00:08:19.000 Well, we have this new album that's out.
00:08:21.000 It's called A Moment of Forever and it's a song that Chris wrote.
00:08:24.000 And it's probably the greatest love song I've ever heard.
00:08:27.000 And then we've got a couple of videos coming out of the album.
00:08:31.000 The Great Diggers one.
00:08:34.000 And then we did another video that's coming out in a couple of months.
00:08:39.000 We did it down at my ranch there in Texas out there.
00:08:44.000 There's a video with me and Jessica Simpson and Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson and all the Wilson boys and Ray Price and Johnny Bush and we just had a big crowd down there in town and we had a lawnmower race.
00:08:57.000 I wish you'd have been there.
00:08:58.000 You'd have had a lot of fun.
00:09:00.000 I actually heard about it from Turk Pipkin and other people.
00:09:03.000 Yeah.
00:09:06.000 But anyway, that's what we're into and we're out here doing a couple of songs off the album every night.
00:09:12.000 You've got quite a few websites.
00:09:15.000 What are some of the sites people can visit to see your latest info?
00:09:20.000 Well, there's WillieNelson.com, and my daughter does a column every day to tell everybody what we're into out here.
00:09:29.000 And there's the WillieNelsonPRI.com, which is a website set up.
00:09:36.000 I did it originally to try to organize all the peace organizations in the world.
00:09:41.000 And we did a pretty good job of doing that, I think, because there's a whole lot of networking going on there about people talking about peace.
00:09:50.000 And then I wrote this song with my daughter, Amy, called Peaceful Solution.
00:09:56.000 And I put the song on the website and told people they could record it, rewrite it, or sing it, or put their band behind it, or whatever.
00:10:04.000 I just gave them the song, basically.
00:10:06.000 And so far over a hundred people have recorded that song and videoed it.
00:10:12.000 And the University of Texas did two videos on it.
00:10:17.000 Amazing.
00:10:18.000 Go ahead Willie.
00:10:20.000 I'm just fooling around.
00:10:23.000 Well, it's fantastic.
00:10:24.000 All of it.
00:10:25.000 It seems like your music just gets better and better.
00:10:28.000 You are a driven individual, and that's what I want to ask you when we get back.
00:10:31.000 What drives Willie Nelson?
00:10:33.000 What does Willie Nelson think is most important in this world?
00:10:35.000 What is your philosophy, summed up?
00:10:37.000 I know your book that I read just last week, The Towel of Willie, is amazing, and I learned a lot from it.
00:10:42.000 We'll talk about that.
00:10:44.000 Biodiesel, hemp, the ward.
00:10:47.000 Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, it's all coming up with the legend, the icon, Willie Nelson.
00:10:54.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk, Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
00:11:03.000 He is counted among the top country legends, music legends, political activist legends, pretty much the icon Of music.
00:11:19.000 And he is quite a survivor.
00:11:20.000 Willie Nelson, again, thank you for being with us.
00:11:22.000 I wanted to throw out that question, I mean, about your life growing up.
00:11:27.000 What made you the way you are?
00:11:30.000 Why you've always stood up for the little guy, the farmers, and people in Africa, and just so many others.
00:11:37.000 Why did you go in that direction in your life?
00:11:42.000 Well, I don't really know, except the fact that I grew up in a town in Abbott, Texas.
00:11:47.000 It was a little small community farm town.
00:11:50.000 I knew everybody in town.
00:11:53.000 Everybody knew me.
00:11:54.000 There were three or four churches there, four churches.
00:11:57.000 In one way or another, you went to church every day and every night of your life.
00:12:04.000 If I learned anything, I learned that all those places...
00:12:08.000 You know, sometimes the Baptists wouldn't talk to the Methodists, or the Church of Christ wouldn't talk to the Catholics, but they were all trying to do the same thing, and they were just divisions, even in that small town.
00:12:22.000 But the one thing that I did learn, now that it was the Golden Rule, you do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and that's maybe that and amazing grace.
00:12:31.000 I pulled out of Habit, Texas, and I think those two things alone have been really good for me.
00:12:38.000 When did you start your first band?
00:12:39.000 I was about 10.
00:12:46.000 Before I got out of high school, I started a band with me and my sister and my brother-in-law and my football coach.
00:12:53.000 He played trombone.
00:12:55.000 We had a little family band.
00:12:56.000 We played all over Texas.
00:12:59.000 We played in Waco and West and places that we could drive to.
00:13:07.000 Didn't you start out in radio by 16 or 17?
00:13:11.000 You already had your own show?
00:13:13.000 Yeah, I was with KHBR in Hillsboro and we got our own radio show there every Saturday and then after that I went to the Air Force and then went down to Pleasanton, Texas and went to work with K.O.B.
00:13:28.000 Pleasanton down there and then I worked several other radio stations and at the same time playing bars around trying to make it.
00:13:36.000 It's amazing.
00:13:36.000 Well, you certainly did make it a long career.
00:13:39.000 You've been out, what, on the road and playing since, what, 54, 55?
00:13:45.000 Earlier?
00:13:46.000 Yeah, at least 49, when I graduated from high school.
00:13:52.000 Wow.
00:13:52.000 I was already in a band then.
00:13:54.000 So 49.
00:13:57.000 Shifting gears, again, we're talking to Willie Nelson.
00:14:02.000 Willie, The war.
00:14:04.000 I mean, you've been speaking out against it from the very start, and if you did that at the beginning, the media, the corporate media, tried to punish people.
00:14:11.000 They punished the Dixie Chicks, but they kind of shied away from attacking you too much.
00:14:16.000 They tried to make an example out of them, but I remember hearing you on the radio just saying, hey, you know, I don't care what they do.
00:14:25.000 I don't want to paraphrase.
00:14:26.000 What did you do at the time?
00:14:32.000 First of all, it all happened when the Dixie Chicks was overseas when they said what they said that seemed to have upset everybody.
00:14:42.000 I was overseas, too, at a press conference.
00:14:47.000 I guess they had it in for the Dixie Chicks more than they did me.
00:14:51.000 I don't know.
00:14:52.000 They had every reason in the world to get on me, also.
00:14:55.000 They're afraid of you.
00:14:56.000 They knew it wouldn't fly.
00:14:57.000 Well, I don't know.
00:14:58.000 What they said, you know, what about this crazy cowboy from Texas you got running?
00:15:01.000 I said, first of all, you're not a cowboy.
00:15:03.000 Second of all, you ain't from Texas.
00:15:05.000 So, uh, you know, let's start there.
00:15:11.000 And, uh, I mean, I make the point that they backed off from you because I don't think that they could, uh, chew up Willie Nelson.
00:15:18.000 I think they tried to pick on the Dixie Chicks, but it seemed that that backfired on them.
00:15:22.000 Well, it did, and it took a while, and the chicks had to go through some uncomfortable times, but, you know, they're tough, and they came out on the other side of it really looking great, and they're more popular now than they were then, and a lot of it's because of that.
00:15:39.000 So, you know, I don't know whether they'd rather have done it that way or not, but at least they said what they thought, and they stuck with it, and I think their last record was, you know, we're not ready to make nice yet.

00:16:52.000 The United States seems to be celebrating over its triumph of reducing government debt.
00:16:56.000 But the truth be told, public and private debt increased to a record high in 1999, reaching a peak of $14.8 trillion, marking 10.57% annual increase, outpacing its previous 10 years.
00:17:09.000 The U.S.
00:17:09.000 economy receives its currency by taking on debt through a private banking institution called the Federal Reserve System.
00:17:15.000 In the year 2000, debt growth collapsed to only 4.5%.
00:17:18.000 It's bad enough that the U.S.
00:17:21.000 citizens is bound by debt in order to have commerce.
00:17:23.000 However, shocking the economy with the reduction of this magnitude could wipe out years of growth in a stock portfolio.

00:17:50.000 Hi, this is Alex Jones, and I want to talk to you about the high price of gasoline.
00:17:56.000 It's no secret that gasoline quality is poor, even though we're paying record prices at the pump.
00:18:01.000 I have run across a company called SFR, who has developed two products that improve gas mileage.
00:18:06.000 Instead of paying a mechanic as much as $300 to clean your injection system, Protecta Complete Fuel System Treatment cleans to 95% of new engine condition, improving mileage in only one tank full.
00:18:18.000 Protecta Engine Treatment not only reduces friction, But it extends the life of your engine.
00:18:23.000 Let's face it.
00:18:23.000 With the high price of gasoline, it's time to take action.
00:18:26.000 Purchase a protective fuel system treatment for only $9.95 and receive a free engine treatment which is a $12.95 value free.
00:18:34.000 Call 888-USE-SFR1.

00:20:00.000 Not ready to play nice.
00:20:07.000 Not ready to go along with this.
00:20:08.000 I'm mad as hell, and I'm just going to continue doing the right thing.
00:20:12.000 And that's why they're becoming even bigger icons.
00:20:15.000 Willie, your take on the war?
00:20:18.000 I mean, you were there from day one saying it was bad.
00:20:20.000 Now, 80% of Americans
00:20:24.000 uh... are saying it's a bad idea we know we were lied to about the WMDs we know the White House and Downing Street memo uh... that Bush tried to manufacture getting some of our aircraft shot down with Blair to start the war uh... where's Willie Nelson now uh... five years into this war uh... and uh... thousands and thousands of dead Americans hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis I mean you've been vindicated yet again
00:20:55.000 It was always a bad idea.
00:20:57.000 You just don't start wars.
00:20:58.000 And, again, it goes back to my whatever I learned in Abbott, Texas.
00:21:02.000 You just don't kill people.
00:21:06.000 There's something in the Bible that says thou shall not kill.
00:21:10.000 And it's also a lot of things in there about peace on earth.
00:21:12.000 And that's why I grew up believing that way.
00:21:15.000 And then all of a sudden I found out there are huge organizations out there that are starting wars and selling bullets to both sides.
00:21:22.000 And I said, what the hell is going on?
00:21:24.000 What happened to peace on earth?
00:21:27.000 Well, you brought up a key there.
00:21:28.000 Can you elaborate on your take on big organizations selling to both sides?
00:21:33.000 Because that's the key here.
00:21:34.000 The humanity, the humans, the children, the people that die that have their countries bombed out, the Americans that are taxed to pay for it all, and the no-bid contracts.
00:21:43.000 Humanity loses, but these kingpins, they win.
00:21:46.000 Yeah, and they've been winning ever since, you know, In the Old Testament it talked about war, there'd always be wars and rumors of wars, but in the New one it said, let's talk about peace, and then there was, there's going to be some peace, and I believe that there's, eventually, there's going to be peace on Earth.
00:22:06.000 And it's those other bastards that are getting in the way of it, so what do we do about them, Alex?
00:22:13.000 Well, I have to say this.
00:22:14.000 I do interviews every day on other people's talk shows, even confrontational interviews, adversarial interviews, and they'll take 10, 20 calls.
00:22:22.000 And of 20 calls, 19 people agree with me while the neocon or right-wing host is attacking me, because I come to it from a libertarian perspective, and it just neutralizes them.
00:22:33.000 Now, five, six years ago, that wasn't happening.
00:22:35.000 It was half and half.
00:22:37.000 And I'm seeing a total shift.
00:22:40.000 But also in the polls, but now both parties have circled the wagons against the people and they're saying, we don't care what you want.
00:22:46.000 John McCain said this war is going to go on for a hundred years.
00:22:49.000 Yeah.
00:22:51.000 Yeah.
00:22:51.000 And, uh, it can't.
00:22:55.000 It just can't.
00:22:56.000 We can't let it go on another year.
00:22:59.000 I mean, it has, uh, the other day I was getting interviewed.
00:23:03.000 Somebody said, what would you do if you were elected president?
00:23:05.000 I would stop the damn war.
00:23:08.000 and uh... it's just that simple you stop that war you stop the other wars that were in around the country and you go around the country being a peacemaker and stopping wars i thought that's what you're supposed to do since when does america invade all these countries that have nothing to do with nine eleven yeah really and uh...
00:23:26.000 and all of a sudden you know the way i heard it there's fifteen people from uh...
00:23:31.000 saudi arabia hit us in new york and we go jump on afghanistan I never could figure that one out in Iraq.
00:23:38.000 Well, I did figure it out too, but I'm surprised more people haven't figured it out.
00:23:43.000 Willie, you brought it up.
00:23:44.000 You figured it out.
00:23:45.000 What's your take on 9-11?
00:23:47.000 It just came out in AP today that the White House was running the commission.
00:23:51.000 We always knew that, but now they admit.
00:23:53.000 In fact, I have the headline right here.
00:23:54.000 I read it before you came on, where they're now admitting that it was a staged commission.
00:24:01.000 Well, that ain't good news, but it doesn't surprise me.
00:24:05.000 Did it you?
00:24:07.000 No, it didn't.
00:24:07.000 I'm glad it's coming out.
00:24:09.000 What's your take on 9-11?
00:24:10.000 Do you question the official story?
00:24:12.000 I certainly do, and I saw those towers fall, and I've seen an implosion in Las Vegas.
00:24:19.000 There was too much similarities between the two.
00:24:22.000 And then I saw the building fall that didn't get hit by nothing.
00:24:25.000 So, you know, how naive are we?
00:24:27.000 You know, what do they think we'll go for?
00:24:30.000 So are you saying you started having questions or that little voice in your head?
00:24:36.000 I mean, did you have a bad feeling the day it happened?
00:24:39.000 Is that what you're saying?
00:24:40.000 The day it happened, I saw one fall and it was just so symmetrical.
00:24:44.000 And I said, wait a minute, I just saw that last week at the, you know, at a casino over in Las Vegas.
00:24:50.000 And you see these implosions all the time.
00:24:52.000 And the next one fell and I said, hell, there's another one.
00:24:55.000 And they're trying to tell me that an airplane did it, and that's, you know, I can't go along with that.
00:25:00.000 And then you find out that mainstream news reported, but it never got any attention, that the supposed hijackers were given national security clearance and were trained at U.S.
00:25:08.000 bases, and the dean of the Defense Language School, Colonel Butler, goes public and says, we train these people, the government's involved, and they start court-martialing until he agreed to shut up.
00:25:18.000 True story, I guess.
00:25:19.000 I hate to hear it, but it's probably true.
00:25:23.000 You've had a chance to see what Terror Storm, Endgame, some of the other films.
00:25:26.000 What's Willie Nelson's take on those films?
00:25:29.000 Oh, I think they're right on.
00:25:30.000 I think, you know, the fact that there are a few elite that are running everything, calling the shots, starting the wars, financing them all.
00:25:40.000 I believe that.
00:25:41.000 And what else they're doing, who knows?
00:25:44.000 But that one thing alone is enough for us to think about how do we stop them.
00:25:52.000 Well, the proof is in the pudding.
00:25:53.000 If you've got, on every issue, 75 to 85, in all the major scientific polls, the people are against everything this government's doing.
00:26:00.000 We send the Democrats to Congress to end the war.
00:26:02.000 They increase it.
00:26:04.000 And now they're saying they're going to be there 100 years, Hillary and McCain.
00:26:07.000 I mean, to me, that is a small group running things right there in front of us.
00:26:11.000 Absolutely.
00:26:12.000 And as far as I can see, all those people attended the same meetings that you and the guys attended up in Canada.
00:26:18.000 Am I wrong?
00:26:19.000 Oh, no.
00:26:19.000 A lot of them do go to the Bilderberg Group.
00:26:21.000 Yes, sir.
00:26:22.000 Yeah.
00:26:22.000 Is that freedom?
00:26:24.000 I don't think so.
00:26:26.000 It's not democracy either.
00:26:30.000 Willie Nelson, you're blowing me away here.
00:26:33.000 When we get back, I want to talk about solutions, your ideas, because the people are awake to a certain extent.
00:26:39.000 I just don't think that they have the specifics of what to do.
00:26:41.000 I'm going to tell them about some of your organizations and groups, and I agree with taking Our everyday life in our own hands, like you've done with the biodiesel, that's a separate thing from what they're doing with the corn and other things, and I want to be sure and separate that out and explain that to people, and what you've tried to do, and all the money you've put into trying to get us into renewable resources and things that are actually, you know, will allow us to not continue to destroy the Earth.
00:27:09.000 We'll be right back.
00:27:10.000 Oh, in fact, we're not going to go to break.
00:27:11.000 I forgot.
00:27:11.000 I told him to skip that break.
00:27:12.000 I'm so used to going to break at the 20th and I told John to skip that so we've got more time here.
00:27:17.000 I'm a little bit dumbstruck here talking to you, Willie.
00:27:24.000 I mean, you talk about how we do have this elite running things and the evidence shows that and the documents have been declassified.
00:27:24.000 Solutions.
00:27:30.000 What are your ideas to get the people to mobilize to do something about it?
00:27:37.000 The song that I wrote called Peaceful Solution, now all those people that recorded it believe, and so do I, that there is a peaceful solution.
00:27:49.000 And it's called a peace revolution, and we just take back America.
00:27:54.000 And we do it, vote it back, we do it, we make sure that the crooked ballot boxes are thrown away, we get a paper trail and everything, and make sure that Good honest people can get back in control and that's the only way we're going to do it is to just do it.
00:28:09.000 You know what I mean?
00:28:11.000 Well, I think that's happening.
00:28:14.000 Just in the news today, we're seeing that they've recruited 26,000 preachers the White House has through FEMA to tell their flocks to stand down, to turn in their guns, to follow orders, to do what the President says in the Presidential Decision Directive 51.
00:28:28.000 Bush says he's above the Congress.
00:28:30.000 It's no longer involved in continuity of government in the John Warner Defense Authorization Act.
00:28:34.000 They have openly funded for insurrection and rebellion by the American people.
00:28:39.000 The whole police state apparatus they built up after 9-11, and I want to get your take on this, Willie, because I know you're aware of it, is now being used against the people.
00:28:48.000 They're not even talking about the boogeyman of Al C.I. Ada.

00:33:05.000 A lot of people are saying that...
00:33:10.000 I was saying that many years ago and now Bob Woodward's talked about how they're setting up for martial law of all people.
00:33:16.000 Naomi Wolf is talking about it.
00:33:19.000 I think that might save us.
00:33:22.000 I'm seeing a A lot at the end of the tunnel.
00:33:24.000 But I think you're right.
00:33:25.000 I think that's a great danger.
00:33:27.000 If that did happen, a nuke went off, a biological weapon was released, or terrorists supposedly blew up a bunch of other buildings, what do you think the response of the population should be if they announce one of this new emergency?
00:33:39.000 It could be an economic emergency and Bush is going to have to stay on to save us.
00:33:43.000 Well, I would hope that we'd be smarter than that, and I would hope that we'd say, no, we're throwing all you guys out, and we're starting over.
00:33:55.000 You can stop the elections if you want to, but you can't stop the people.
00:34:01.000 Well, Ron Paul has gotten more donations from Well, again, the troops are under order, and if they don't do what they, you know, the orders are, then they get shot.
00:34:13.000 So, uh, the troops have no choice.
00:34:14.000 There's a few of them in there that are there because they think it's the right thing to do.
00:34:19.000 And the troops are under orders, and if they don't know what the orders are, then they get shot.
00:34:25.000 So the troops have no choice.
00:34:27.000 There's a few of them in there that are there because they think it's the right thing to do.
00:34:32.000 There are a few there because they just like to fight.
00:34:35.000 But there's a lot of them that, like you say, would rather be home with their families and save our good men and women for something that really matters, for really something that is the defense of our country.
00:34:46.000 If we need some people down here on the borders, let's take 150,000 people out of Iraq and put them on the borders of Canada and Mexico.
00:34:52.000 We can secure our borders that way.
00:34:55.000 Well, how will we have this war on terror where there's an Al-Qaeda terrorist under every bed, under every table?
00:35:00.000 We've got to have checkpoints and kids getting thumbscanned to get their lunches to stop Al-Qaeda, but then the border's wide open.
00:35:07.000 That kind of makes the war on terror look like a fraud.
00:35:10.000 Well, yeah, and, you know, they're fighting over there because you remember the old joke about the guy that dropped a quarter and he was looking around and the guy said, where did you lose it?
00:35:17.000 I said, I lost it over yonder.
00:35:18.000 And he said, why are you looking over here for?
00:35:20.000 I said, well, I caught the lights better.
00:35:25.000 I think that's why they're over there, the light's better.
00:35:27.000 Well, it's a black hole to launder money and dump trillions of dollars in no-bid contracts to Halliburton.
00:35:36.000 Yeah.
00:35:37.000 And there's nobody stopping it.
00:35:40.000 And as long as it keeps going on and nobody stops it, I don't know what the end result will be.
00:35:47.000 Well, tyrants...
00:35:48.000 It can't be good for us.
00:35:50.000 Well, you're right.
00:35:51.000 Tyrants have known throughout history.
00:35:53.000 They keep pushing, they keep testing.
00:35:54.000 Tyranny doesn't come overnight.
00:35:56.000 And I hope a lot of people that support this war, I hope you know we have illegal wars not declared, torture, the rest of it.
00:36:03.000 None of us are safe here.
00:36:04.000 What comes around goes around.
00:36:05.000 You reap what you sow, don't you, Willie?
00:36:07.000 Absolutely.
00:36:08.000 Ten times over, I remember.
00:36:11.000 And I'm not sure I want to get treated ten times as bad as we're treating other people.
00:36:16.000 Did you ever see the actual Army reports?
00:36:18.000 MSNBC posted it, but then never covered it.
00:36:21.000 With what the actual torture was, not just those photos.
00:36:25.000 I mean, it reported they tortured people's children in front of their parents.
00:36:30.000 No, I didn't hear that.
00:36:31.000 Did you see the report about them raping the women inside the camps?
00:36:36.000 Well, that one doesn't surprise me.
00:36:38.000 But torturing them in front of their family, I didn't know.
00:36:41.000 Yeah, if you want, I can email you some of the mainstream stories.
00:36:46.000 They had a CIA section chief in the Washington Post say, yeah, we tortured their children in front of the parents to get answers.
00:36:55.000 Well, I don't understand it.
00:37:00.000 I think the establishment is trying to seduce our troops into evil, but again, I think they're throwing it back up at them.
00:37:09.000 I think so.
00:37:10.000 This can't happen because everyone is an individual.
00:37:13.000 We all have our free will and God gave us the freedom to use it.
00:37:19.000 No matter where we are or what we're doing, if we know it's wrong, we should not do it.
00:37:25.000 Well, for anybody that wants the report, it was a Filipino-American General, two-star General Tugumbu, was hired to run the report on 30-plus camps in Iraq, and that was the findings for anybody that wants to go check that.
00:37:38.000 Those are amazing claims, but they are true.
00:37:43.000 Speaking of an individual like George Bush, and these elitists that are puppeteering him, How do you think they sleep at night, Willie?
00:37:52.000 Because somebody like you or myself, you know, we have a conscience, and I love my conscience.
00:37:56.000 It's my greatest possession.
00:37:58.000 And I wonder about psychopaths sometimes, how they just enjoy evil.
00:38:02.000 Well, you know, I don't know where you grew up, but I grew up with a lot of people who really are... You have to doubt if they have a conscience.
00:38:14.000 And I know they're all over the world, so I'm not surprised if people, you know, can torture because I've seen it happen all my life and you know smaller degrees but there are just some people who are that way they like to make the other person uncomfortable in whatever way they can it's a power trip isn't it yeah I think it is it's not money it's about power well where I'm from my dad is from uh two counties over to the east and
00:38:43.000 That's where our family's been since 1829 with Spanish land grants.
00:38:47.000 And then my mom's family were German immigrants in the 1840s to right around Austin and surrounding areas.
00:38:53.000 So I am really proud to be a Texan, because you're a Texan, Willie.
00:38:58.000 All the way through.
00:38:59.000 You know, I love our state.
00:39:01.000 It sure is growing.
00:39:03.000 It is good, and I'm glad to see it.
00:39:05.000 We've got a lot of room down there, you know, so if it gets too crowded in Fredericksburg, we'll go further west.
00:39:12.000 But there's plenty of room out there, so I'd tell people to come on down.
00:39:16.000 You've got a studio out in Fredericksburg, don't you?
00:39:19.000 I have one out at Ferdinandus, just west of Austin there.
00:39:24.000 It's between Austin and Fredericksburg.
00:39:27.000 Boy, it sure is pretty out by Hunt.
00:39:30.000 Yes, it is.
00:39:31.000 It's just incredibly beautiful all over that state, and I'm prejudiced and I would be the first to admit it.
00:39:37.000 The presidential election, Kucinich has dropped out.
00:39:40.000 My audience and others helped raise the money for the recount.
00:39:42.000 They did find evidence on the Republican and Democratic side of chicanery in New Hampshire, but Kucinich has dropped out now.
00:39:49.000 What do you think of Ron Paul?
00:39:51.000 Oh, I like Ron Paul, but I think he's got the same troubles that Dennis had.
00:39:55.000 First of all, You know, there's not that much support.
00:39:59.000 Behind him, he is growing a little bit, but I noticed his numbers had come up in Maine here in the last day or so that he got quite a good... You know, I like what he says.
00:40:13.000 I still think when we get down to it, it's going to be McCain and either Hillary or Obama.
00:40:18.000 And they're all pro-war.
00:40:21.000 It sounds like it.
00:40:22.000 I was hoping that Hillary had changed her mind.
00:40:26.000 I was hoping Obama was all the way against the war.
00:40:31.000 I don't know.
00:40:31.000 Maybe public opinion can keep their minds where they need to be.
00:40:35.000 Let's talk more about the election, biodiesel, hemp, the drug war, so many other questions.
00:40:40.000 Half the interview has already gone by.
00:40:43.000 This is just wonderful to have you with us, Mr. Nelson.
00:40:46.000 You are a sweetheart to spend so much time with us.
00:40:48.000 We'll be right back with Willie Nelson after this quick three-minute break.
00:40:51.000 Please stay with us.
00:40:53.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk.
00:41:03.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
00:41:07.000 Thank you.
00:41:09.000 We're back live, ladies and gentlemen, transmitting on the AM and FM dial across the nation, simulcast on the satellite and on the internet at truthnews.us, infowars.com, prisonplanet.com.
00:41:22.000 We have eight servers, and this has not happened in about a year.
00:41:27.000 Some of the sites you can't even hardly get to right now, I guess the word has spread on the internet, That Willie Nelson is, and we can take millions of visitors, so people are going crazy right now on the websites.
00:41:38.000 Willie, you have made quite a splash here.
00:41:41.000 Well, that's good.
00:41:44.000 Yeah, you're burning the place down.
00:41:45.000 It's awesome.
00:41:47.000 Getting into the war and then the solution, you know, trying to fix this politically, Magically, Ron Paul's been getting half the votes the polls show he should get.
00:41:59.000 Obama was getting 15 more points or more than Hillary in New Hampshire.
00:42:02.000 She magically won by almost four points.
00:42:04.000 That's like an 18-point swing.
00:42:06.000 That's never happened before.
00:42:07.000 Ron Paul really got second place in Nevada.
00:42:11.000 The media just said he didn't even make place.
00:42:13.000 He won first place in Louisiana.
00:42:15.000 They lied and said he got second place.
00:42:17.000 These voting machines, all the corruption there.
00:42:20.000 Give us your view on that.
00:42:22.000 Well, you know, it's a no-brainer.
00:42:25.000 You've got to get rid of the voting machines because they're crooked, or they can be hacked.
00:42:29.000 And we can't afford to have another election stolen.
00:42:35.000 Well, in the past, when you were growing up as a young man, and even older, I mean, the voting was, they put the ballot box out in the middle of the room, they all got counted, that precinct then announced it, everybody got to watch the counting.
00:42:48.000 It is a big idea.
00:42:49.000 A new world order.
00:42:52.000 In the mirror.
00:42:53.000 It is now time to reign in evil and bring them to justice.
00:42:57.000 Through the authority that has been delegated to us, it is time to destroy the destroyers.
00:43:02.000 The number of the mounted troops was 200 million, the vast majority of the population of the U.S.
00:43:07.000 Though the people of the U.S., where their numbers and influence are strongest, have primary responsibility for reigning them in and bringing them to justice, all nations will participate since they reside the world over.
00:43:18.000 They are called Illuminati, elite, proponents of the new world order.
00:43:22.000 They oppose everything that is God and truth.
00:43:25.000 They are of the line that was disinherited 2,000 years ago.
00:43:29.000 Everything they have built over the centuries, the wealth they have accumulated, the power they have established, the poisoning of the masses, the destruction of the earth and mankind, we will undo through the authority that has now been delegated to us.

00:47:00.000 Well, now that Kucinich has dropped out, now that Kucinich has dropped out, I mean, do out, I mean, do you think Ron Paul's the best candidate, or what's your take on that?
00:47:26.000 I think he's a great candidate.
00:47:27.000 I think he's a great guy, and I wish him well.
00:47:31.000 We'll see what happens, I guess tomorrow, that will answer a lot of our questions.
00:47:37.000 Yeah, Super Tuesday coming up tomorrow.
00:47:41.000 Willie, getting back into 9-11, because you brought it up, and I was debating even bringing it up, it's so controversial, but other questions, other things that piqued your interest and made you question the official story surrounding 9-11?
00:47:58.000 Well, as soon as it happened, in the next day, I was somewhere doing a show, and somebody said, what do you think about it?
00:48:10.000 When I get hit I like to look around and see who did it before I start swinging at everybody in the room and it kind of looked like what we were doing.
00:48:18.000 We get hit over here and the next thing you know we're jumping on everybody in the town.
00:48:23.000 So we got hit from Saudi Arabia.
00:48:28.000 I think we have some questions that need to be answered from those folks.
00:48:34.000 Yeah, that's a really good point you make.
00:48:36.000 Again, Newsweek reported a week after 9-11 that in the six months before, they had massed carrier task forces, 44,000 U.S.
00:48:44.000 troops, 18,000 British troops in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan surrounding, and that Bush on September 10th signed the order in the next week to attack Afghanistan.
00:48:54.000 Man, what timing, Willie, that he signed the attack order the day before!
00:48:59.000 Yeah, I wonder how that happened.
00:49:03.000 I mean, how smoking gun is that?
00:49:06.000 Yeah, I mean, what does it take for us to realize that, you know, we're having the wool pulled over our eyes one more time?
00:49:16.000 You know, there's a war against the American people, and that's the drug war.
00:49:20.000 Back when drugs were sold on store shelves, we had a lot less drug use in this country.
00:49:25.000 They criminalize it, it corrupts the police, and it puts a lot of money in drugs, and then the kids get involved in it, and of course they've got to go after marijuana because 70 plus percent of people don't use other drugs.
00:49:37.000 They use the medicine.
00:49:40.000 Hemp, and you've been a big advocate, you know, exposing how DuPont and Dow Chemical shut that down, even the cannabis varieties that don't even have HTC in them.
00:49:52.000 When did you first begin to fight the drug war and to expose what was happening with the suppression of hemp?
00:49:59.000 Well, first of all, I knew that there should be, that it's the greatest killer on the planet is stress and the best medicine is cannabis, and for some people, and it's a good medicine.
00:50:12.000 So, first of all, there was no reason to make it illegal unless you had an agenda.
00:50:19.000 And the same thing with Uh, the same thing with, uh, with biodiesel and ethanol.
00:50:30.000 Ethanol back in, uh, the 30s was 20, 25% of the market with us was ethanol.
00:50:34.000 The other 75% was standard oil.
00:50:38.000 So, uh, once ethanol became a problem, what did they do?
00:50:42.000 They came up with Prohibition.
00:50:43.000 It did two things.
00:50:44.000 It stopped the farmer from growing And making ethanol, because he was making ethanol in the same piece of equipment that he made his whiskey in, which was a steel.
00:50:55.000 So when they brought in Prohibition and stopped the whiskey, they also stopped the making of ethanol, and they put the farmers out of business who were making their own fuel.
00:51:06.000 And also, Standard Oil again won the battle.
00:51:11.000 Yeah, my family's from in between Fairfield and Buffalo, and we've still got over 1,000 acres out there.
00:51:21.000 Farmers' Tufts, over the years they would sell land off the original Spanish land grant just to be able to pay the taxes, but the big drought in the 50s almost made them go under.
00:51:30.000 But there are rotting stills back there down on some of the swamp land.
00:51:35.000 I don't know who put them there.
00:51:36.000 They're still regulators.
00:51:37.000 They might come after us.
00:51:38.000 But there's old metal remnants of stills.
00:51:40.000 And the story I got was that they made them destroy them and went after people.
00:51:45.000 And they weren't even, most of the time, making moonshine with them.
00:51:49.000 But you're right.
00:51:49.000 That was an economic warfare against the farmers.
00:51:52.000 Because I know that happened to my family, the Joneses.
00:51:56.000 Well, it definitely happened to a lot of people, and it put the ethanol people out of business the first time, and then the second time around, they put them out of business.
00:52:04.000 And now they're trying to do it again, and as oil goes up and up and up and up, they're also looking at us over here, who are the alternative energies, and I've heard from the oil companies that, hey, you know, it's all right.
00:52:19.000 You guys go ahead and do what you're going to do for the next 36 months or so, and then we're going to come in and take it over.
00:52:25.000 And that would all be well and good, except that when that happens, I know it's not going to be good for the local producer and the local consumer.
00:52:33.000 A lot of things will be imported, palm oil for all over the world, and that's not good.
00:52:39.000 Until we can get it back to where your family and my family can grow their own ethanol and their own biodiesel.
00:52:48.000 Uh, then our economy is going to stay bad.
00:52:50.000 We have to bring it back to sustainable agriculture locally, and it's got to start locally.
00:52:57.000 Well, going back to biodiesel, uh, there's a big difference between biodiesel and some of the things they're making out of corn, uh, because you're able to make the biodiesel you create out of, uh, all sorts of things.
00:53:09.000 Can you explain the difference and then talk about your, the program you've tried to launch nationally?
00:53:14.000 Well, the first diesel engine Rudolph Diesel designed his first engine to run on peanut oil.
00:53:22.000 So for all these years that we've been using oil and diesel, we could have been using peanut oil.
00:53:31.000 We could have been using all kinds of vegetable oils.
00:53:35.000 We didn't have to become that dependent.
00:53:38.000 So it was a Again, it was a planned agenda to keep us away from the biodiesel because they wanted to sell us all.
00:53:47.000 At the same time, the government was using biodiesel and ethanol in its equipment because it was cheaper to produce and the equipment ran better on it, but they didn't give it to the private sector because they wanted us to keep using Well, you talk about the Monopoly game they played to do this.
00:54:10.000 Is that where... I mean, is that the place you started to learn about the Monopoly men and the larger global forces?
00:54:17.000 Or when did you discover what, for lack of a better term, we'd call the New World Order or the Kingpins?
00:54:23.000 Oh, I don't know.
00:54:24.000 There's one thing and another.
00:54:25.000 That was part of it.
00:54:26.000 You know, when the cannabis thing and the marijuana was maybe illegal back in those days, I traced it back to the petrochemicals again.
00:54:35.000 Everything that was made from cannabis now is made from petrochemicals.
00:54:40.000 So it's just the oil companies again coming in and taking over and making marijuana illegal and telling people it's crazy and it'll kill you and all that stuff.
00:54:53.000 So far I don't know of anybody that's died from marijuana unless a bail fell on them or something.
00:54:58.000 My friend Kevin Booth just produced a film I consulted on called American Drug War that's going to be airing on Showtime coming up in March, I guess next month.
00:55:08.000 And he spent four years making it, and he's got the numbers from year to year it changes, but about 200,000 to 300,000 it changes each year die from pharmacological legal drugs.
00:55:20.000 And about 10,000 die a year from all the really hard, you know, quote, baddie legal drugs, which I agree are bad, heroin, cocaine, things like that.
00:55:28.000 And then they can't even find any deaths from marijuana, and George Washington grew it on his land and smoked it for stomachaches.
00:55:36.000 So, why is marijuana illegal, and why do they fill the prisons with hundreds of thousands of people a year who are caught with it?
00:55:43.000 Well, it's obvious again, because everything that's made from fector chemicals, at one time, was made from cannabis.
00:55:51.000 And it's, even the The Blue Jeans, did you ever read a book called The Emperor Has No Clothes that Jack Herro wrote?
00:56:00.000 Yes, I did.
00:56:01.000 I like the Bible, yeah, and it talks about the original Levi's being made from cannabis, and it talks about all the ships, the covered wagons, the canvas was made from cannabis.
00:56:14.000 Yeah, the sails, the ropes, they lasted four or five times longer.
00:56:18.000 Yeah, and when I was in high school in the FFA during the war and they had us making rope out of hemp.
00:56:26.000 They made hemp legal again back during the war because they needed it.
00:56:30.000 And we were making hemp ropes in the gymnasium there in Abbott, Texas.
00:56:34.000 It really is a magic plant.
00:56:37.000 I mean, you can grow it anywhere, and it's just an incredible product for industry, but I guess it's not centralized like a giant chemical plant, so they just can't let the farmers have that, can they?
00:56:50.000 That's right.
00:56:51.000 It's just too hard for them to compete against something that you can just throw out some seeds, and that you've got food, fuel, material.
00:57:01.000 Uh, everything you need in one, in one feed, and that's just too much for them to compete with.

01:04:51.000 More than 700 chemicals have been found in our drinking water.
01:04:54.000 And did you know that you have greater exposure to these chemicals while taking hot showers than when drinking the water?
01:05:00.000 That's because many chemicals are inhaled when they evaporate, and others are absorbed into the skin.

01:06:02.000 You want answers?
01:06:03.000 Well, so does he.
01:06:05.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
01:06:09.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
01:06:14.000 Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.
01:06:23.000 You know what?
01:06:24.000 It is already the 20th day of May 2008, and we are going straight into A big interview right here at the start of the show.
01:06:34.000 He'll be with us for the next 40 minutes.
01:06:36.000 He is former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, also Hollywood movie star, Navy SEAL, and so much more.
01:06:45.000 He's also a best-selling author, former TV host on MSNBC, and he was on with us about a month ago, and it made headlines in hundreds of newspapers, the Associated Press, and national television when he came on the show and questioned the official 9-11 story.
01:07:00.000 Hi Alex, great to be here again.
01:07:01.000 I hope I can say that.
01:07:02.000 went live and he said he's got something he wants to complain about.
01:07:06.000 So you'll find out what that is with me right now.
01:07:09.000 Governor Ventura, thank you for coming on with us.
01:07:11.000 Hi, Alex.
01:07:12.000 Great to be here again.
01:07:13.000 I hope I could say that.
01:07:14.000 No, I'm laughing because I guess when you do your show, you automatically make it on Bill O'Reilly's idiot list.
01:07:25.000 I think that's what happens, yes.
01:07:26.000 Now, I'm confused over that, Alex.
01:07:30.000 How come we're not allowed to ask any questions today?
01:07:34.000 Well this broadcast has about 2 million listeners per show and then it's all magnified on the web and they don't like the fact that there is a large alternative radio show with more than 60 affiliates and that's number one internet show.
01:07:49.000 Maybe it's something like that because I can't believe how I simply asked some questions and the way you're attacked.
01:07:59.000 For simply asking questions?
01:08:00.000 Has our country really become that?
01:08:02.000 That you're not even allowed to publicly question the government?
01:08:06.000 You know, I say this, Alex, because in looking back on my 56 years on the planet, the governments lied to me a great deal.
01:08:15.000 And they don't have great credibility with me.
01:08:20.000 So why wouldn't I question them when they tell me something?
01:08:25.000 Oh, I totally agree with you.
01:08:26.000 I mean, how many times have they been caught lying?
01:08:29.000 And isn't it more suspicious?
01:08:31.000 Methinks they protest too much?
01:08:33.000 Yeah.
01:08:33.000 That they don't want us to ask about Building 7, the firefighters on tape saying the government blew it up?
01:08:38.000 I mean, why aren't we supposed to talk about that?
01:08:40.000 I don't know.
01:08:41.000 You know, one of the most interesting interviews that I've seen now has been William Rodriguez.
01:08:52.000 Absolutely.
01:08:54.000 When I watched the DVD of William Rodriguez, this guy is totally talking from what he remembers.
01:09:03.000 You can clearly see it.
01:09:04.000 He's not making anything up.
01:09:07.000 Well, he was there.
01:09:07.000 The firefighters and police said that he stayed in to get a lot of them out when things were starting to collapse.
01:09:12.000 Oh, he's a hero's hero.
01:09:14.000 There's no doubt about it.
01:09:15.000 And when you hear him talk, And he tells about what he knows there.
01:09:20.000 How can you not question what went on that day?
01:09:24.000 Well, that was my first question.
01:09:26.000 What do you think of the massive media attack that you have gone through for simply asking a question?
01:09:34.000 They never address what you actually said on the show.
01:09:37.000 And the majority of Americans in polls have the same questions.
01:09:41.000 It's all that you're bad to ask those questions.
01:09:43.000 Well, yeah, it's been pretty eye-opening, to say the least.
01:09:49.000 You know, if you do ask a question out there, it's like you're not allowed to today.
01:09:54.000 And that's what really troubles me the most, is this attitude.
01:09:59.000 Is it, Alex, the fact that, and here's what I truly believe, I think people have this almost screen around them in many ways that because they don't want to believe that it could be true, they just put that screen up and won't allow anything to penetrate it to the effect that it might be true.
01:10:23.000 You're right.
01:10:23.000 It's a bubble of denial.
01:10:25.000 Their little imaginary world and anything that conflicts with that, they say isn't allowed.
01:10:32.000 Yeah, it really is that way.
01:10:34.000 And that, to me, is what has to come down, is the fact that, you know, and I like to refer a great deal to the movie that was just out with, on John Adams, because it was very profound.
01:10:49.000 Governor, stay there.
01:10:50.000 Tell us about that after this quick break.
01:10:54.000 He's the T-Rex of political talk.
01:10:57.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
01:11:02.000 Well, he needs no introduction.
01:11:03.000 He's Jesse Ventura.
01:11:05.000 He's going to be with us for most of this hour.
01:11:07.000 We're very thankful for that.
01:11:09.000 And I was going to get into his book being on the New York Times bestselling list.
01:11:13.000 And I was going to get into his Run for the Senate?
01:11:18.000 Is he really going to do it?
01:11:19.000 We know he's looking at that.
01:11:20.000 When will we get a final answer?
01:11:22.000 And we will cover that in the second half of the interview after the bottom of the hour.
01:11:26.000 But out of the gates, he brought up 9-11.
01:11:29.000 Now I have to say, Governor Ventura, I have never seen anyone, and I said this on air, my whole staff said this, all the emails we got said it, I've never seen anyone trounce Sean Hannity likes that.
01:11:40.000 Just from a position of strength, a position of knowledge.
01:11:44.000 When he says, hey, we don't stage the news.
01:11:46.000 We're not told what to say.
01:11:47.000 And you said, oh, you really want to cover Anna Nicole Smith for six months.
01:11:51.000 And he just looked like a Cat that had been caught eating the canary.
01:11:54.000 He looked totally guilty and turned red-faced and smiled like a Cheshire cat.
01:11:59.000 I mean, it's asinine.
01:12:00.000 It's come out that the Pentagon's planning propaganda.
01:12:03.000 They have hundreds of people on the payroll claiming they're not, putting out this info about the war.
01:12:07.000 We know there's propaganda in media.
01:12:09.000 We know they have talking points.
01:12:11.000 They have talking points to attack 9-11 truthers.
01:12:14.000 But I have to tell you, you absolutely kicked Well, you know, I'm going to give him his due.
01:12:25.000 I actually found him, on and off camera, the day that I was there, kind of enjoyable.
01:12:33.000 And I know that seems weird to say, it's because I think that with me he took a slightly different posture than he did with most people.
01:12:41.000 Well, the thing is, they want me on later this month, but it won't be in studio.
01:12:44.000 I fully expect them to be far more aggressive with me when I'm not there in person.
01:12:47.000 I fully expect them to be far more aggressive with me when I'm not there in person.
01:12:53.000 But it's not just that they weren't being aggressive.
01:12:55.000 Everything he threw at you, you totally turned around on him.
01:12:58.000 I mean, I've told my listeners that is now the textbook example of how to deal with these people.
01:13:03.000 Well, I deal with it the only way I know how, and that's kind of pulled and strapped the years back and forebore ahead.
01:13:12.000 I'm that way about things.
01:13:15.000 The truth of the matter was I worked in that business.
01:13:17.000 I know what goes on because I thought it myself when I worked at MSNBC.
01:13:22.000 Every day they would send me down the topics they wanted on the show after telling me that my show I could have complete control of.
01:13:31.000 Well there were topics that yes, I remember distinctly the one was the murder in California.
01:13:38.000 Of the pregnant girl?
01:13:40.000 Yes.
01:13:41.000 And I mean that's important to California, but there's 10,000, 12,000 murders a year that take place.
01:13:48.000 How is one more important than another in this country?
01:13:53.000 And those are local stories that should be dealt with with local media.
01:13:58.000 They are not national stories, nor should they be made national stories.
01:14:02.000 They're national inquirer stories.
01:14:04.000 Well, we know what they do.
01:14:05.000 They do those strictly to get ratings.
01:14:07.000 I was about to say, and it fills up the news time with these issues that don't affect the power brokers.
01:14:13.000 Meanwhile, there's no time to talk about how three more U.S.
01:14:16.000 troops died today.
01:14:17.000 Exactly.
01:14:18.000 They fill it up with this gaga baloney And the bad part is we as a culture are accepting it, but hopefully the listeners that listen to you and the Internet are very dangerous to that because it's becoming more and more powerful all the time, as we know, and rest assured the Internet will be the next thing the government will try to control.
01:14:41.000 By the way, Joe Lieberman has called for federal control over the internet.
01:14:47.000 He wrote a letter to Google's head and said that they need to self-censor and that the government would give them a list of things that weren't allowed to be covered.
01:14:55.000 Thank God Google said no, but they're talking about taxing the web, regulating it, making you have an IP address that's certified, making you thumb scan to get online.
01:15:05.000 What's your view on that, Governor?
01:15:07.000 I think that's horrible.
01:15:10.000 You know, to me, we better wake up, you know.
01:15:12.000 Oh, guess what?
01:15:13.000 I got a great story for you that'll tie right in.
01:15:16.000 I just came across the Mexican border from Mexico to the U.S., right?
01:15:20.000 Yes, sir.
01:15:21.000 And this will tie into what you just talked about.
01:15:24.000 All through Mexico, I was waved through every military stop.
01:15:29.000 They have now down there what are called hassle-free zones.
01:15:33.000 Where U.S.

01:15:47.000 Our beloved republic is on her knees.
01:15:52.000 The forces of globalism are destroying national sovereignty worldwide.
01:15:56.000 But in Liberty's darkest hour, there is hope.
01:15:58.000 The first time in modern history, the people are beginning to wake up.
01:16:01.000 It is essential that patriots worldwide accelerate their fellow man's understanding of the New World Order Master Plan.
01:16:07.000 We have a short time frame to fully awaken and energize the people to meet this threat.

01:16:49.000 PrisonPlanet.tv Hello, Ted Anderson.
01:16:52.000 Listeners of the network are familiar with the Federal Reserve Note and understand the risks of deficit spending.
01:16:56.000 Therefore, with catastrophic events, it comes as no surprise that some banks have currently placed limits on the amount of cash depositors can remove from their accounts.
01:17:05.000 A fractional reserve system means only a small portion of your deposit is held in reserve for immediate withdrawal.
01:17:10.000 Deficit spending will skyrocket through FDIC if the government is forced to insure deposits during a bank run followed by a depressed economy.
01:17:17.000 A current effort is underway by the Fed along with other central banks to increase liquidity for depositors.
01:17:23.000 However, an increase in money supply without equal expansion in productivity can cause inflation.
01:17:28.000 In order to achieve strength and stability, I recommend a conservative portion of all investments to be calmly repositioned into gold and silver.
01:17:36.000 While paper investments currently have been driven by debt, gold on its own has held value for over 6,000 years.

01:19:46.000 This is the GCN Radio Network.
01:19:55.000 Home to hard-hitting talk radio.
01:20:00.000 And they stopped me.
01:20:02.000 I crossed at Nogales, below Tucson.
01:20:06.000 And when they stopped me, they recognized who I was.
01:20:09.000 I drive an RV.
01:20:11.000 They sent me over to the inspection area.
01:20:15.000 And I was inspected, and he knew who I was.
01:20:23.000 Guess what they confiscated from me?
01:20:26.000 What?
01:20:27.000 This is Homeland Security for you.
01:20:29.000 My dog's dog food.
01:20:32.000 Keeping us safe from Al-Qaeda.
01:20:34.000 Gotta stop that dog food.
01:20:36.000 Now here's the thing that troubled me.
01:20:37.000 This was dog food.
01:20:38.000 I have a very special dog.
01:20:40.000 And I carry the dog food from Minnesota to Mexico and back and I bring enough.
01:20:46.000 And so the dog food was purchased in the United States.
01:20:50.000 It just was taken out of its original wrapper.
01:20:54.000 Well they had to, they had to have authority over it.
01:20:56.000 By word, Alex.
01:20:58.000 When I said that to them and said, but this is United States dog food, it didn't matter that I vouched for it.
01:21:05.000 And the fact that only my dog would be eating it.
01:21:08.000 It wasn't like I was bringing in, you know, 30 cartons worth of Mexican dog food.
01:21:16.000 I'm a private vehicle carrying dog food and they confiscated it.
01:21:20.000 Well, the point is that criminals are running wild, murder and crime is way up, and meanwhile Homeland Security is taking over almost every federal agency, and you have a former governor, you know, an individual who is well-known to everybody, and they had to have that little enforcement, that little, we're the boss, you did something wrong, they're training Americans how to be slaves.
01:21:41.000 I don't know about that, but I thought it was utterly ridiculous that they could confiscate dog food from you when you state that it originated here.
01:21:51.000 What about your word?
01:21:52.000 Doesn't that mean anything anymore today?
01:21:55.000 No, it means nothing to them.
01:21:56.000 Well, okay.
01:21:57.000 Governor, to when out of the gates you talk about the media attacking you, but the media saying how dare you question the official 9-11 story, never addressing any of the specific facts you listed.
01:22:07.000 So we were talking during the break, and you said you'd like to go through the scientific evidence from another perspective.
01:22:14.000 Let's talk about 9-11.
01:22:15.000 Well, okay.
01:22:17.000 I'll come at it a little more from a professional standpoint.
01:22:21.000 Maybe I'll make it on O'Reilly again.
01:22:24.000 I served three years with the Navy Underwater Demolition Team 12, West Coast, and our specialty and what I was trained in was blowing things up.
01:22:35.000 And from a professional standpoint and watching how these three buildings fell, it sure looks like demolition to me.
01:22:44.000 And I believe I have an eye for it, you know, having been trained in it and trained by the best that our military has.
01:22:53.000 And especially building number 7, no doubt on that one.
01:22:57.000 When you look at it from my viewpoint, that looks like demolition explosions bringing it down.
01:23:04.000 And I view that as a member of the underwater demolition team.
01:23:10.000 But then we have them staging the Gulf of Tonkin.
01:23:13.000 We have the Iranian government staging the attack on Iran.
01:23:17.000 And now the White House admits they funded real Wahhabist Al-Qaeda, number three in Al-Qaeda.
01:23:23.000 It's been going on for four years to attack Iran and stage terror attacks there.
01:23:28.000 A former general came out on Fox earlier this week and said that we need to, quote, have terror attacks inside Iran.
01:23:34.000 But then the media turns around and says Iran is Al-Qaeda, when Iran is Shiite.
01:23:39.000 I mean, that's incredible when our government's funding real Al-Qaeda to attack Iran, but then saying Iran is also Al-Qaeda.
01:23:47.000 Well, I can't answer to that because I'm not as pervy as you on that information.
01:23:51.000 Remember, I just returned from Mexico and I don't get all the news that you get on that.
01:23:58.000 So I can't really respond to that at all.
01:24:00.000 I can only listen to what you have to say and be appalled over it if it's indeed true.
01:24:06.000 Let's go back and look at 9-11 from this angle.
01:24:08.000 Why did you decide?
01:24:10.000 I mean, I interviewed you in June of 2006, almost two years ago.
01:24:13.000 You said, I have questions, Operation Northwoods.
01:24:17.000 I have questions, Gulf of Tonkin, other staged events.
01:24:20.000 But you went that far.
01:24:21.000 And then last time, I didn't press you on 9-11.
01:24:24.000 You brought it up during a break and said, I'd like to talk about it.
01:24:26.000 Why did you decide to take that plunge and go ahead and write about it and question it in your book and then go even further on my show?
01:24:35.000 What spurred me to do it, first of all, I was like everyone.
01:24:39.000 I couldn't comprehend nor did I want to believe the worst.
01:24:43.000 And we all know what the worst is.
01:24:47.000 I also was embarrassed a little bit that when it happened, I went on full military mode.
01:24:52.000 I didn't question anything because I was the governor at the time.
01:24:56.000 And I feel bad about that now because I could have been even more powerful then in questioning it.
01:25:02.000 But I didn't because, again, I kind of went on military mode.
01:25:06.000 Our country's been attacked.
01:25:07.000 I believed what I was told.
01:25:09.000 Believed it.
01:25:10.000 And went accordingly.
01:25:13.000 Well, then after I got out of office shortly thereafter, and of course the invasion of Iraq happened, which I opposed, I couldn't understand why, if Al-Qaeda indeed truly attacked us, why would we not be fighting them in Afghanistan?
01:25:29.000 Instead we're focusing and going in this other direction to Iraq, who had nothing to do with any of it.
01:25:35.000 In fact, Saddam Hussein feared Al-Qaeda as a problem for him.
01:25:41.000 So it didn't make sense to me on that aspect, and so when we invaded Iraq was when I truly, truly started to question President Bush and his policies.
01:25:51.000 Because I opposed that war before it even happened.
01:25:55.000 And that's when I thought, and my son kept on me, he kept telling me about this loose change that was on the internet, and I'm not very savvy to the internet generally.
01:26:06.000 And finally he kept on me saying, "You've got to watch this," and I kept even fighting with him, saying, "Come on, Ty, you can't believe everything on the Internet.
01:26:15.000 You know, there's no way these guys had to have attacked us, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." Well, then we got home from Mexico a couple years ago, and one Sunday afternoon my wife and I both said, "You know, let's watch that loose change thing that my son keeps telling you about." And so we had an hour or whatever it was, we went up to the computer room and we watched it.
01:26:37.000 And when I watched it, it hit me like a punch in the stomach.
01:26:42.000 The things that are brought up in it.
01:26:44.000 So your instincts, your instincts then picked up the truth of it?
01:26:48.000 Yeah.
01:26:49.000 Well, I guess you'd call it my instincts.
01:26:53.000 I just, as I watched it and started putting things together and the fact that why would George Bush drag his feet on any investigation?
01:27:02.000 I put myself in that position as a governor or as a president.
01:27:06.000 Governor Jesse Ventura, author of the new book.
01:27:22.000 It's on the best side.
01:27:24.000 Seller list, a bunch of the different bestseller lists.
01:27:27.000 Don't start the revolution without me.
01:27:29.000 We have links where you can get it at Infowars.com, but it's in stores everywhere.
01:27:33.000 We're going to talk more about that before he leaves us.
01:27:36.000 Governor Ventura, you were going over during that last segment that some stations didn't get.
01:27:41.000 Why hasn't there been an investigation when there's an investigation of a cop having an auto accident and getting hurt, or there's an investigation of a jumbo jet blowing up, or an investigation of the bridge collapse, I mean, it's not just that.
01:27:57.000 Then we have how they've used 9-11 to take our liberties and freedoms, and how they directed us at the wrong country, like you mentioned, Iraq and Afghanistan, and how Bush then said, I'm not looking for bin Laden, I don't care where he is.
01:28:10.000 And now how they're using anti-terror laws against the American people and federalizing everything.
01:28:16.000 Can you give me your take on that, Governor?
01:28:17.000 Well, I certainly don't like it.
01:28:19.000 You know, we're called the United States of America.
01:28:23.000 And that means states' rights.
01:28:25.000 And for many things, I think states' rights should prevail.
01:28:30.000 We always have a constant takeover by the federal government going on.
01:28:35.000 And we have to stand up to it and you have to find a way to do it because we don't want to be the United States with no states.
01:28:47.000 And that's the direction we seem to be going at.
01:28:50.000 Good.
01:28:51.000 Hi, neighbor.
01:28:52.000 They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
01:28:55.000 Certainly we'd never intend to procrastinate getting our own food supply until there was none left at any price.
01:29:01.000 We would intend to have plenty of food so the relief organizations could care for those unable to care for themselves.
01:29:06.000 We would intend not to be standing in the bread line with the ignorant and the foolish who pretend the facts of food disappearance are untrue.
01:29:14.000 If the experience of the Katrina disaster is evidence, the bread line may have no bread.
01:29:19.000 Just like the good intentions on the road to that unheavenly place, the good intentions alone to get a supply of food will not feed us.
01:29:27.000 Only getting our food supply immediately will make us independent and fearless for the future.

01:29:47.000 It's a fact.
01:29:51.000 Since the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913, all banks in these United States create money out of thin air for every single loan they issue.
01:29:59.000 With never-ending late fees, over-the-limit fees, and higher and higher interest rates, it has become mathematically impossible to repay all debt, making all of us slaves to our creditors.
01:30:08.000 The Federal Debt Relief System has created a successful, attorney-backed program to legally eliminate credit card debt, personal loans, lines of credit, and other unsecured debts which have been fraudulently created by the banks.
01:30:19.000 We can terminate your unsecured debt within 18 months with a much lower monthly payment, ending with nothing on your credit report.

01:31:50.000 I used to be ashamed of my toenails.
01:31:52.000 I thought I was destined to wear socks and tennis shoes through the heat of the summer and hide my toes in the sand at the beach.
01:31:59.000 But then I heard about Non-X Nail Gel.
01:32:02.000 It tackles the problem of unsightly nails by clearing out the cause of the problem.
01:32:07.000 Yellowing Keratin Debris Build-Up.
01:32:09.000 With regular use, Non-X Gel breaks down and removes this debris, so nails look clear.
01:32:16.000 I confess I was skeptical in the beginning, but I stuck with it, using Non-X Gel twice daily.
01:32:22.000 Actually, I was surprised how generously sized the bottle is, and how long it lasts.
01:32:28.000 A while ago, you could look at my nails and, well, glance away.
01:32:32.000 But not anymore.
01:32:33.000 Now my toenails look better than ever, and I'm wearing sandals again, thanks to a simple, natural gel.
01:32:40.000 If your toenails are an embarrassment, try Non-X Nail Gel.
01:32:44.000 It's available in the foot care aisle of your drugstore, mass retailer, or super center.

01:32:58.000 Thank you.
01:34:00.000 That was one of my big disappointments in George Bush when he first took office.
01:34:05.000 He said that he was going to be an old federalist style president, power to the states, which I agreed with.
01:34:11.000 And every decision he's made has been just the opposite.
01:34:15.000 And case in point, like, um, what is it now, 11 or 12 states have voted for medicinal use of marijuana, and yet the federal government won't allow it.
01:34:25.000 Uh, Oregon I know twice has voted for dignity and death.
01:34:29.000 That if you want to, if you're not going to live and you're dying, you have the right to be in control of your life.
01:34:35.000 And the federal government says no.
01:34:37.000 And so things like that.
01:34:40.000 Are very disturbing to me because I like to have an option in this country that the state that I live in thinks a lot like me and I have the option in which to live there, but more and more I'm seeing that leave so I tend to live in Mexico more today.
01:34:56.000 Would you say that in many respects a third world country like Mexico has more freedoms than we have here?
01:35:02.000 Well, I'll put it to you this way.
01:35:03.000 I could still go in the bar and have a cigar at a sports event.
01:35:08.000 Smoke a cigar in the bar, you can't hear.
01:35:13.000 Well that's the control freak nanny state which is just... You know, I say that laughingly.
01:35:18.000 The other thing is too, Mexico, I'm not saying Mexico has a great government, but at least you know they're corrupt.
01:35:24.000 I agree.
01:35:25.000 So you know that going in.
01:35:27.000 But the thing that I find where I live, there's nobody of government anywhere around.
01:35:33.000 So you just govern yourselves and we all get along great.
01:35:36.000 It's like a libertarian paradise where I'm at.
01:35:39.000 You're absolutely right.
01:35:42.000 You're absolutely right.
01:35:43.000 You know, I take care of myself, Alex, and my family, and we help each other.
01:35:48.000 My neighbors help if they need help.
01:35:50.000 We pull each other out of the ditch, because I live in a pretty rugged area, and everyone pitches in, and it doesn't require government at all, even though there's all these laws and everything.
01:36:00.000 Hey, if they're not around, they don't apply to anybody.
01:36:04.000 Just take care of each other.
01:36:05.000 What kind of dog you got, Governor?
01:36:07.000 I have a Belgian Malinois.
01:36:09.000 Oh yeah, he's so smart.
01:36:12.000 When he arrived here he was literate in three languages, which made him the smartest in the house.
01:36:20.000 And he's soon learning Spanish, number four.
01:36:23.000 Here's how I feel right now.
01:36:24.000 I don't know yet, and I have until July to decide.
01:36:25.000 I'm going to have a final segment with the governor, unless I can twist his arm to stay even longer, maybe to the end of the hour.
01:36:29.000 But I want to come back and talk some about the book.
01:36:32.000 I want to talk about a Senate run.
01:36:34.000 Let's go ahead and get into that now.
01:36:35.000 I mean, are you going to run for the Senate, or how long until we know?
01:36:38.000 Here's how I feel right now.
01:36:40.000 I don't know yet, and I have until July to decide.
01:36:43.000 I feel like this.
01:36:45.000 I believe strongly that on every ballot, federal, local, or whatever, there should be none of the above.
01:36:51.000 So you can vote a vote of no confidence in your government.
01:36:55.000 With this deficit, we should have no confidence in them.
01:36:58.000 And I may offer myself up as that, because it doesn't officially, it isn't officially on the ballot, none of the above.
01:37:06.000 But if I go file and put Jesse Ventura down, I then become none of the above.
01:37:12.000 And so any disgruntled voter, and all I'll try to do at that point is run a very minimal campaign, and all I ask is to be alive in the debates.
01:37:22.000 Because if I can debate them, I can beat them.
01:37:25.000 Well, no doubt we need your voice in the U.S.
01:37:28.000 Senate because you are a maverick, you are a somewhat of a renegade, and you're only a renegade because you're what we call an old-fashioned American independence, liberty, freedom, and we need you.
01:37:40.000 So I would certainly support you from Texas, Uh, for a run for the Minnesota Senate, because you could certainly wreak havoc on their plans and use a bully pulpit up there to expose what they're doing.
01:37:51.000 So Governor, we totally support you.
01:37:52.000 We're going to be back in three minutes with Governor Jesse Ventura, and we'll also talk about his new book, Don't Start a Revolution Without Me.
01:38:00.000 So I'm drafting you, Governor.
01:38:02.000 I think you need to go ahead and run for the Senate.
01:38:03.000 We'll be right back.
01:38:04.000 Stay with us.
01:38:05.000 So much going on.
01:38:26.000 So much going on.
01:38:30.000 So many things going on in the world.
01:38:34.000 Babies dying.
01:38:37.000 And we have a short time left with Governor Ventura, so I'm going to try to move quickly.
01:38:42.000 Governor, final comment on 9-11.
01:38:45.000 I want to play you a clip that came out and was in major newspapers last week.
01:38:50.000 You may have missed it.
01:38:51.000 Where I'm sure you've heard about how they all these major quote wartime correspondents or experts they have on Fox, CNN, MSNBC are really on the Pentagon payroll.
01:39:02.000 They're all former generals of course and colonels and that they're putting out unified propaganda.
01:39:07.000 They've now released hundreds of hours of these tapes and on the tape They say, wouldn't another terror attack get the people behind the war?
01:39:13.000 We have Republican memos saying the same thing.
01:39:15.000 And Rumsfeld says, yeah, the cure for the people not wanting to, you know, go into Iran and other places is another attack.
01:39:21.000 Here's that one-minute clip.
01:39:23.000 I want to get your take on this.
01:39:25.000 I mean, this president's pretty much a victim of success.
01:39:28.000 We haven't had an attack here in five years.
01:39:33.000 The perception that the threat is so low is the fact that That it's not surprising that the behavior pattern reflects a low set assessment.
01:39:46.000 And the same thing is in York.
01:39:48.000 There's a low perception.
01:39:52.000 The correction for that, I suppose, is an attack.
01:39:57.000 And when that happens, then everyone gets energized for another person.
01:40:03.000 And it's a shame.
01:40:04.000 We don't have the maturity to recognize.
01:40:08.000 So the American people don't have the maturity to give up their liberties, so there's got to be another attack.
01:40:13.000 The PENAC documents written by Dick Cheney in September of 2000 called for massive Pearl Harbor events to mobilize the empire.
01:40:20.000 The Brzezinski's book, Grand Chess Board, calls for giant terror attacks.
01:40:26.000 Your take on that, sir?
01:40:27.000 Well, first of all, I've got to apologize.
01:40:29.000 There was a lot of static on there.
01:40:32.000 My ears are not any better than they used to be before.
01:40:36.000 I had a hard time hearing it clearly.
01:40:38.000 Let me just tell you what he says.
01:40:40.000 He says, The correction for the people not, you know, wanting military action is another attack.
01:40:46.000 And he said that's the cure for it, but barring having, you know, another one of those, the people don't support the war.
01:40:52.000 And who said this?
01:40:53.000 Donald Rumsfeld.
01:40:55.000 Wow.
01:40:55.000 You know, if this stuff's true, then my book is right on.
01:41:01.000 We've got to have a revolution and take our country back.
01:41:06.000 Well, I agree.
01:41:07.000 The book is on a bunch of the best-seller lists.
01:41:10.000 Why did you decide to write the book, Don't Start a Revolution Without Me?
01:41:13.000 Well, it was a wake-up call.
01:41:15.000 I actually wrote two New York Times best-sellers.
01:41:18.000 I got paid great front money and all that to do those books.
01:41:22.000 This book I did with Doug.
01:41:23.000 I wanted to do it down in Mexico with Dick Russell.
01:41:27.000 And we got together every week and we'd work on it.
01:41:30.000 And I wanted it to be more of a message and a wake-up call to try to wake up the United States of America that the two-party system is corrupt.
01:41:39.000 And that the two-party system, that you have to change the system in which to change the government.
01:41:45.000 And we've got to wake up to that fact because if we don't, we could very much lose the Republic.
01:41:51.000 Because that's what Thomas Jefferson warned about.
01:41:54.000 That's what John Adams warned about.
01:41:56.000 That political parties would eventually strangle the Republic because decisions would be made on behalf of the political party, not on behalf of the Republic.
01:42:07.000 And that's what we're getting today.
01:42:08.000 An interesting case in point, and we'll tie it back to 9-11 a little.
01:42:14.000 I find it very interesting that the Whitewater investigation, which in the end all it did was turn up that the President cheated on his wife with an intern, they spent $100 million on that.
01:42:27.000 For 9-11 they only spent 9 million.
01:42:31.000 And I find that peculiar that, you know, thousands of people were killed in one, and nobody died.
01:42:38.000 The other one that I know of, or they couldn't prove, maybe one person did, I guess they talk about it.
01:42:43.000 But they spent $100 million to investigate that.
01:42:47.000 What do you think of Barack Obama and Hillary wanting socialized...
01:42:50.000 Doctors around the world claim that cancer and other diseases cannot live in a pH-balanced alkaline environment.
01:42:56.000 But as you know, most people are overly acidic due to stress, acidic diet, and lack of exercise.
01:43:01.000 pH balance is the foundation of energy abundance and perfect health, as well as prevention of disease.
01:43:07.000 People who alkalize the water they drink experience normalized blood sugar, mental clarity, and loss of weight.
01:43:13.000 It was intended for human beings to drink alkaline water, but due to modern way of life, most people are overly acidic.
01:43:19.000 The fact is that disease simply cannot exist in an alkaline environment.
01:43:23.000 Fat accumulates if a person consumes too much acid on a regular basis and doesn't neutralize it.
01:43:28.000 Do your part.
01:43:29.000 Alkalize and supercharge your body now.

01:43:57.000 But the symptoms are there.
01:43:59.000 Loss of energy, blood sugar spikes and drops, poor circulation, and irregular heartbeat are just a few of these that can alert you that something is wrong.

01:47:02.000 When I was a little kid growing up, My dad was a World War II vet, 8th grade education, but he gets smarter every day.
01:47:08.000 And he said to me one day, he said, you know, all politicians are crooks.
01:47:14.000 And I said, Dad, come on, how can you say that?
01:47:17.000 That's a blanket statement like that.
01:47:19.000 And he said, easy.
01:47:20.000 He said, because they spend a million dollars for a job that pays a hundred grand a year.
01:47:26.000 The evidence is right there.
01:47:26.000 Absolutely.
01:47:27.000 That's what one of my grandpas would always say.
01:47:30.000 And so I make it a point that when I run for office, I do not spend more money than what I will make.
01:47:37.000 Now, as a U.S.
01:47:38.000 Senator, I will make close to $950,000 through the course of that six-year thing.
01:47:45.000 So that means I could probably spend about three quarters of a million to get the job.
01:47:49.000 But I will not spend over that.
01:47:51.000 And, you know, if I do it, I'll decide in July.
01:47:55.000 Because I believe these campaigns are far too long and far too expensive.
01:47:59.000 Well, we need you also during this national election cycle to be injecting sanity, and that will up your profile if you run for Senate.
01:48:06.000 I think it's a no-brainer.
01:48:07.000 I'm begging you to do it.
01:48:08.000 We need you to do this, Governor.
01:48:10.000 The problem is though, Alex, is that I have to do it.
01:48:13.000 Then you can't go surfing.
01:48:15.000 That's right.
01:48:16.000 Then I can't go down to Baja and watch sunsets down there and take my surfboard out and fall down as I try to learn how to do it.
01:48:23.000 Absolute heaven down there.
01:48:25.000 I certainly envy you down there.
01:48:26.000 There's no one watching over me.
01:48:28.000 No Big Brother telling you?
01:48:30.000 No Big Brother is down there.
01:48:31.000 You know what I also do with all my new vehicles?
01:48:34.000 I disconnect that OnStar.
01:48:35.000 Which tracks you, yes sir?
01:48:37.000 Absolutely.
01:48:38.000 People think that they can track you anywhere you go if you've got that hooked up on your vehicle.
01:48:44.000 Governor, I want to run through a bunch of questions quickly because we're almost out of time.
01:48:47.000 Government drug dealing.
01:48:48.000 They had a CIA aircraft right at four tons of pure cocaine, showing it came from the source.
01:48:54.000 One of the CIA rendition flights, same plane, CIA owned, crashed in Yucatan Peninsula, nothing on our press, all over the foreign press, with the CIA pilot, killed the people on board, filled with pure cocaine.
01:49:08.000 Now, should we decriminalize drugs A and B?
01:49:11.000 The experts I've had on here believe that over 85% of all narcotics is brought in and licensed by the government.
01:49:17.000 Well, I think absolutely we should decriminalize it because of the fact that when I was in Mexico, the Virginia Tech thing happened.
01:49:25.000 And the headlines in Mexico said, USA 33, Mexico 20.
01:49:30.000 Because that day there were 20 people killed in the war on drugs on the border.
01:49:34.000 Only difference is theirs happens every day.
01:49:36.000 And now it's spread all the way up into Indiana, up into Dallas.
01:49:40.000 Quote, military, our government trained are now, quote, helping the Mexican drug cartels.
01:49:45.000 I don't know anything about that.
01:49:48.000 Oh, yeah, that was finally in the Houston Chronicle.
01:49:51.000 Yeah.
01:49:52.000 Just a side issue, I know he's your buddy, I know you've been in some films with him, like Running Man and Predator, and I know you're a loyal person, but Schwarzenegger, you talk about big government, gun control, on a lot of these issues, what do you think of the job Schwarzenegger's done as governor?
01:50:08.000 Well, remember this.
01:50:10.000 Arnold is not a true Republican.
01:50:13.000 Arnold is very liberal on the social issues, much like I am.
01:50:17.000 I don't care about gay marriage.
01:50:18.000 It's none of my business.
01:50:19.000 Things of that nature.
01:50:21.000 And remember, Arnold's also a populist.
01:50:25.000 He tried the hardline Republican position in California and he got hammered.
01:50:29.000 His popularity went down the toilet, so he made a turn.
01:50:34.000 And now he's doing things that apparently the Californians are more popular with.
01:50:39.000 Arnold is not a dummy.
01:50:42.000 You know, Arnold knows where his bread gets buttered, depending on what he's doing.
01:50:46.000 Yeah, but you could do that, too.
01:50:47.000 You could go with how the bread's buttered and probably be president.
01:50:50.000 I mean, there is a difference here.
01:50:51.000 You're not for gun control.
01:50:53.000 You're not for drug criminalization.
01:50:55.000 Arnold is.
01:50:56.000 Well, I don't think Arnold's for drug criminalization, is he?
01:51:01.000 Because he's not bothering the pot shops out there for the medical stuff.
01:51:04.000 He lets the feds come in and go after him.
01:51:06.000 He hasn't been drawn to repeal the drug laws.
01:51:10.000 But the point is, he can't stop the feds anyway.
01:51:13.000 Federal jurisdiction takes priority over state.
01:51:16.000 Otherwise, if I was governor, I could stop our National Guard people from going to Iraq.
01:51:22.000 You don't have that power.
01:51:24.000 When's the last time you talked to Arnold?
01:51:25.000 Has he read your book?
01:51:26.000 I have never talked to him since he took office.
01:51:30.000 Well, I know that he said that he modeled a lot of his campaign off the fact that he saw that you could win.
01:51:34.000 That may be true, but I haven't spoken to him at all.
01:51:37.000 I stopped by one time when I was giving a speech in Sacramento and he had already gone home, back to L.A.
01:51:45.000 So he wasn't in that day.
01:51:46.000 I just left a note for him and gave my best regards.
01:51:50.000 I haven't talked or heard from him since.
01:51:55.000 Talking about the police state, all over the country now, they don't just do breathalyzers, they're taking blood at checkpoints from Illinois to Texas, from Arizona to New York State.
01:52:05.000 They're now having, quote, federalization drills where they get tens of thousands of police in three, four state areas to randomly search pedestrians now, not just cars, set up checkpoints.
01:52:17.000 What's your take on that?
01:52:18.000 Well, if it's true, we're in tough shape.
01:52:21.000 The only thing I can comment on is what goes on in my life.
01:52:25.000 I am concerned because when I crossed the border this year, inside the border was a second immigration checkpoint.
01:52:32.000 Well, according to the Constitution of the United States, once I show at the border that I'm a U.S.
01:52:38.000 citizen, I should not be required or be asked any type of identification as I travel throughout the continental United States.
01:52:46.000 And now they're building those deeper and deeper over a hundred miles in and they're going after citizens.
01:52:52.000 Oh yeah, like the car in front of me I saw the people showing passports and they were from California.
01:52:58.000 Well, for some reason they waved me through because I turned to my wife and I go, I am not, I'm going to see if the Constitution protects me.
01:53:06.000 I will not show these people anything, even though they're immigration.
01:53:09.000 So what happened?
01:53:10.000 citizen.
01:53:10.000 I'm a U.S.
01:53:11.000 If it's a state trooper, that's different.
01:53:13.000 You're on a highway, then you show your driver's license.
01:53:17.000 But as a U.S.
01:53:18.000 citizen, I am not required to show anything.
01:53:20.000 What happened?
01:53:21.000 What happened?
01:53:21.000 Because I travel throughout the country.
01:53:23.000 The Constitution guarantees me that.
01:53:27.000 Governor, what happened when you did that?
01:53:29.000 that?
01:53:29.000 For some reason, they always wave me through.
01:53:32.000 Every time they don't question or do anything, I get waved through.
01:53:36.000 So I don't get a chance to really turn them down because they never ask me for anything.
01:53:41.000 But it is racial profiling because I happen to have blue eyes.
01:53:45.000 That might be part of the reason I'm waved through.
01:53:47.000 Unbelievable.
01:53:49.000 Governor, we have a little bit of issue with the lines.
01:53:53.000 Can you hear me?
01:53:53.000 Sure.
01:53:55.000 We went to backup there.
01:53:55.000 Okay, good.
01:53:56.000 I'm in Texas.
01:53:57.000 They're in Minnesota.
01:53:58.000 This only happens when we got a huge guest on with us.
01:54:02.000 Governor, In closing with the three or four minutes we've got left, other points, other key issues that you want to impart, anything else on 9-11, anything else you want to talk about with the future of this republic?
01:54:13.000 Well, you know, the main thing I want to talk about is the fact that we better wake up and we better pay attention and not to believe everything that the status quo tells you because They're not necessarily talking the truth, and I'm finding that out more and more and more.
01:54:30.000 I personally have no trust in the government anymore because they've been so deceitful to me on everything, it seems.
01:54:38.000 And that we've got to change.
01:54:40.000 And I think the other thing I'd like to bring out is this.
01:54:43.000 Having lived outside of the United States now for three years in a row for half the year, my belief is that you're not a world power by carrying a crab and beating everyone up.
01:54:56.000 And our status throughout the world has dropped dramatically now.
01:55:00.000 The most popular t-shirt you see in Mexico amongst young people now is a photo of George Bush and it says, Weapon of Mass Destruction.
01:55:09.000 And I really don't think it should be part of, as the United States, and it's time for us to change direction.
01:55:16.000 So when Obama says about talking to our enemies, I see nothing wrong with that, because it should be the last option.
01:55:25.000 War should never be the first option, is what we've made it today.
01:55:29.000 Well, you're right, Governor.
01:55:30.000 Our name has been destroyed, and these so-called conservatives that still support the war, A, they're against the will of the people, only 30% support the war still, and B, they have bankrupted us.
01:55:42.000 The dollar's being devalued.
01:55:44.000 Inflation is in double digits.
01:55:46.000 The Federal Reserve's denying it, but oil just went to $130 a barrel today.
01:55:51.000 $130 a barrel.
01:55:53.000 Did I tell you my take on oil?
01:55:55.000 No, sir.
01:55:56.000 I think this is what's happening on oil.
01:55:59.000 I think they're driving the price up to battle the environmentalists.
01:56:03.000 I think they want to get drilling in Alaska, they want to get offshore drilling.
01:56:08.000 This is a ploy by the oil companies, in my opinion, to drive the price up to where the American people say it's $5 a gallon, I don't care about the environment, drill, I've got to have my gas.
01:56:19.000 Well, that's a part of it, I think.
01:56:21.000 But largely, the dollar has been devalued.
01:56:24.000 Oil is dollar-denominated.
01:56:26.000 And so if the dollar's been devalued by more than half, oil's going to double.
01:56:30.000 Oh, yeah.
01:56:30.000 I'm at it, too.
01:56:31.000 Very good point.
01:56:33.000 Very good point.
01:56:35.000 I noticed that in Minnesota, because we had some of our local guys that work at the network came out and shot some video of you talking, and you wouldn't address the press, but you would address them.
01:56:45.000 Why were you not talking to the mainstream press?
01:56:47.000 Well, I talk to the mainstream press, except not the Minnesota mainstream press.
01:56:51.000 I've made it my personal vendetta that I never speak to them again, because when I was in office, they attacked my children.
01:57:00.000 And so the only way I can fight back is to not talk to them, not make them money.
01:57:05.000 And so I speak to the open press in Boston, I speak to them in L.A., anywhere else, but I will not speak to the Minnesota media because it's my personal vendetta against them.
01:57:16.000 And, you know, us Navy SEALs, we don't get mad, we get even.
01:57:21.000 That's our thing.
01:57:23.000 And so my only way of getting even with them is to not speak to them.
01:57:27.000 That's why I did speak to your people, but unpurposely I do not speak to them.
01:57:32.000 And it is because they attack my kids.
01:57:35.000 My son refuses to live in Minnesota now.
01:57:38.000 Governor Ventura, I want to say one more word to you during the break.
