01:27:35.000 Now, what the Swiss have done in the last couple of days is started to do the same thing that the U.S. government has been doing.

01:27:48.000 In fact, what the Swiss did is they went in and they bought corporate bonds out of the market.

01:27:57.000 And the Swiss are trying to keep their currency on an even level, so to speak, with the euro, so that they won't have a competitive disadvantage if the euro continues to go lower, because the Swiss franc was not going lower.

01:28:20.000 And, um, uh, in the last couple of days, the Swiss franc has gone down in value, uh, a bit.

01:37:25.000 And so they kind of bob and weave through.

01:37:29.000 And the market today is trying to test $72.64.

01:37:34.000 And it's about, oh, probably 70 or 80 points away from that now.

01:37:41.000 It'll probably reach it today and today or next week.

01:37:44.000 And I believe it'll fail to go higher at this time.

01:37:48.000 There's just too many negative things out there on a fundamental basis, and I think it will go back down and test that 6,600 area approximately, and that's normal as well.

01:38:00.000 And, you know, you have a lot of professionals trading in the market, and they trade all day, every day, and they make markets move.

01:38:10.000 The government makes markets move as well.

01:38:13.000 And I think that the government has lost control of the stock market there.

01:38:56.000 And, uh, we hear people from, uh, banking institutions and Wall Street saying, well, uh, if everybody does it what they're supposed to do, uh, Jamie Dimon and JP Morgan, uh, Chase seems to think that things will be okay by the end of the year.

01:39:12.000 And this is the same guy who told us just a little over a year ago, uh, That all our problems would be over by June.

01:39:19.000 And of course he was wrong, and they're all wrong, and they know they're gonna be wrong, but they gotta lie.

01:39:24.000 And that's part of this game.

01:39:26.000 And so, the market is going lower.

01:39:29.000 If you're in the market, except for gold and silver shares, get out.

01:39:33.000 If you've got annuities and cash values policies, the value of your holdings are gonna go down.

01:39:41.000 If you're in pension funds, the value of your pension fund is going to drop.

01:39:46.000 And there's no two ways about it, and there's no way to get around it.

01:39:50.000 The $787 million federalization package, known as stimulus package, some are saying, a lot of mainline economists are saying that they think it'll do a boost for six months, a year, but then things will just continue to plunge.

01:40:03.000 And that's only for the markets will it make them go up a little bit, but then in the real economy, things are still shutting down at an even accelerated pace and all the numbers on housing starts and retail and Homes that are upside down show that do you agree that this may boost things for a while or from what you're saying?

01:40:19.000 You're saying it won't Well on the short term no because they laid most of the money into next year Being politicians that they are and in office.

01:40:29.000 They want to get reelected So the thrust of what's going to happen in the economy from the stimulus package will be felt next year So we can assume that there's a good chance That the Dow could sell down to, say, $5,000 this year.

01:40:46.000 It's possible.

01:40:47.000 Maybe even $4,000.

01:40:49.000 And I've said before, I think if we stop at $4,000, we're going to be lucky.

01:40:53.000 We could have somewhat of a minor renaissance next year that might last for six months.

01:41:00.000 And let's say that the Dow is at $4,000, it might rally back up to $5,500 or $6,000.

01:41:06.000 Because that's what Wall Street likes.

01:41:08.000 They like to run it up and down, up and down to consolidate wealth.

01:41:11.000 Well, they all want to make money.

01:41:19.000 Of course, with gold, this is the fourth time it's tested 900 again.

01:41:39.000 The U.S. Mint says again that they don't have blanks to make the gold coins, and that they're probably never again going to make the smaller denomination coins of a tenth or a quarter or half an ounce.

01:41:52.000 And so the shortages are still there, but gold seems to be languishing between $900,000 and $1,000.

01:42:14.000 Where the elite only did this in the past, but now people that aren't even making a million bucks a year, or $500,000 a year, have been putting a lot of money, even after taxes, just because they didn't trust our banks, overseas.

01:42:26.000 I've even seen reports that that is going to put more pressure on these people to go into the true safe haven, physically held gold and silver.

01:47:39.000 As I understand, it is essentially marking assets or even derivatives on the books to the current market value.

01:47:48.000 And I heard it came into being last year.

01:47:51.000 I'm wondering if that's true.

01:47:54.000 And I'm just thinking, are they wanting this gone so that if their book value is higher, even though it's phony, it means the stocks will go up?

01:48:05.000 Well, your synopsis and your facts are all correct.

01:48:09.000 And mark-to-market has been used for a couple hundred years in the stock market and in corporations.

01:48:19.000 And about a year and a half ago, the Treasury Department and the SEC told companies to value at a reasonable price illiquid investments because if there was no market, The companies had to guess at what they were worth.

01:48:42.000 And that has led to a false financial impression of what the assets are really worth.

01:48:49.000 If you've got a collateralized debt obligation bond, which is full of mortgages, and it was sold as AAA, and it really now is like BBB minus, And though the mortgages,

01:49:07.000 which might be parts of thousands of mortgages within that bond, are really worth 15 cents on the dollar, what's happening is the owners of those bonds, corporations, pension funds, whatever, they're marking them to a guess at the market, which might be 80 or 75 or 65, 70 percent, when in fact they're worth much less.

01:49:34.000 The Treasury Department, the United States government, the SEC, doesn't want them to discontinue doing that.

01:49:42.000 They don't want it marked to the real value in the market, because that would be 15 cents maybe.

01:49:49.000 And so, what we have here is phony bookkeeping.

01:49:53.000 The whole thing is insanity.

01:49:56.000 It's, I always call it Mickey Mouse bookkeeping.

01:50:00.000 And that's what they're trying to do.

01:50:04.000 Subdiffusion the American public to make them think that many companies that hold this toxic waste Are really more than what worth more than what they are and that everything's going to be okay And yes, it would tend to make their stocks go higher Well, okay. I don't okay.

01:50:22.000 I don't understand that if if the mark to market rule is is it marking?

01:50:28.000 a security or a derivative to the Real value of what the market is giving it right now, and they want to keep that rule, or they want to get rid of that rule.
