00:40:42.000But if you were to read that single page today, you would think he wrote it yesterday because he's never changed.

00:44:37.000And for those that don't know, this was a guy, I read it 10 years ago when he republished it, in banking who saw all this coming and said, we're being taken over by bankers 15 years before they did it.
00:47:55.000want to talk more about the whole global picture with you and then take some calls, but some funny or interesting stories about your brother or your family, because people just love to hear them, that you've never told before or that you have never told on the radio before.
00:48:12.000Some interesting stuff about the young Ron Paul.
00:48:14.000Well, I think one of the most interesting things that I think of is he used work in a drugstore.
00:48:23.000So we called him the soda jerk of the day.
00:48:27.000And he would use a bicycle to go a mile, work, and then come home.
00:48:33.000And he always worked late in the evening up until 10 o'clock to close the store and then bike home.
00:48:42.000Well, he always had a ritual in his own mind as to how quickly he could get home.
00:48:52.000But one evening he was coming home and going up the hill and he was pumping so hard and so fast that he forgot to look in front of him and he ran into a parked car.
00:49:05.000And that parked car demolished the front of his bike.
00:49:11.000But he picked up the bike and walked the other half mile to get home.
00:49:18.000And when he got home, his collarbone was sticking outside of his shirt.
00:49:22.000But that's just the type of person he was.
00:49:28.000And he wanted to make sure nobody took his bike, so he dragged it home with him.
00:50:09.000They wanted me to be an undertaker so that they could take care of everybody, bring them into the world, raise them, educate them, and I could bury them.
00:50:18.000So we decided that if I did that, I would have a monopoly on life, and the government wouldn't let me do it.
00:50:40.000Well, my grandfather came to this country as a 12-year-old from Germany and came after his father came here before him.
00:50:49.000My mother was French Irish from all states for the rain, but I think it was the close-knit family and our Christian type that really was a bulwark of our life.
00:51:09.000One of the other interesting things about my brother, and he still has it, when he first went to Congress, he bought a little Chevy Chevette to go from his apartment to Congress every day.

00:51:31.000But there's pictures out of that Chevette next to Tip O'Neill's limousine, and he obviously was proud of showing that in his congressional office or at home.

02:19:22.000which was a violation of the separation of powers, and Democratic enemies were getting sent anthrax, and people that had taken photos of the Bush daughters in Austin falling down on each other drunk in a provocative pose We're getting the letters and it was clearly meant to blame it on Muslims and the FBI said this is run-of-the-mill No big deal, but I had bioweapons experts on saying this is incredibly deadly Only Russia the United States and England can make it this deadly then it turned out.

02:22:11.000When the FBI scientists examined the anthrax that was used in the attacks against the congressmen, That anthrax, when they examined it in the lab, in this BSL-3 lab, high containment lab, they put it on a microscope and the anthrax actually lifted up and floated into the air.

02:42:51.000Bruce Ives was also a U.S. Army scientist, and he did help The FBI claimed that he got onto their radar a few months before or a little bit longer than that before he committed suicide.

02:43:31.000And Bruce Ivins, you know, was made out in the media to have some mental problems.
02:43:37.000But it's true, he was put under a lot of duress.
02:43:40.000And, uh, the FBI a year ago announced that, uh, yeah, we got our guy, but he's just committed suicide.
02:43:48.000The official story is that, uh, Bruce Ivins, uh, you know, was drinking heavily and took some, uh, some prescription Tylenol and, uh, was found, uh, unconscious and taken to a hospital and, uh, you know, died two days later.
02:44:07.000But the interesting thing, Alex, is that we're actually in the edit room editing Anthrax War at the time, you know, last year when this happened.
02:44:17.000And at that point, you know, the anthrax attacks were still unsolved.
02:44:22.000And it was very interesting because Bruce Ivins is actually the fifth dead scientist in our film.
02:44:30.000We'd followed a whole trail of dead scientists in our investigation, beginning with the death of David Kelly, The weapons expert who was an arms inspector in Iraq, who you might remember, died in 2003 just after the invasion of Iraq, where he was found dead in the woods near his home in Oxford.
02:44:52.000And so we've been looking into a whole spate of mysterious deaths of germ warfare scientists, all of whom were working with anthrax.

02:48:48.000And basically, the wrap on Kelly is the most telling piece of evidence that MP Norman Baker discovered was that the knife he supposedly used as he went to the woods all depressed About, uh, being, um, officially, uh, sacrificed by the British government as a leak that destroyed their case for war.
02:49:13.000All depressed, he went into the woods, and he took a knife, he slit his wrists, and he swallowed some, uh, tablets from his wife's medicine cabinet.
