Summary

The more we learn about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan, the more we discover about her openly anti-gun views, she praises what Robert Bork called the worst judge in the world. She calls for judges to be activists, to restrict free speech, Obama using executive orders to try to ram through carbon taxes, and on the coal plants, now he wants to do it. We ve got 8 senators telling us that he may use an executive order to legalize all the illegals, which is pretty unconstitutional. So we re going to talk about it all with Andrew Napolitano.

00:00:04.000 Big Brother.
00:00:06.000 Mainstream media.
00:00:07.000 Government cover-ups.
00:00:09.000 You want answers?
00:00:11.000 Well, so does he.
00:00:12.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
00:00:17.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
00:00:22.000 Well, we're into hour number two and he's with us for 30 minutes.
00:00:25.000 Joining us from the Fox Business Studios, he has the number one show on Fox Business with its premiere.
00:00:32.000 The number one show because he's the hardest-hitting contributor on On Fox television, he's the one guy that I can agree with 99% of the time.
00:00:43.000 I don't agree with myself hardly 99% of the time.
00:00:45.000 I'll tune into something I said a week ago and kind of go, I didn't mean the way that sounded.
00:00:49.000 But Judge Andrew Napolitano is just amazing.
00:00:52.000 Multi-time best-selling author, former federal judge, constitutional lawyer, and he's with us for 30 minutes to talk about Elena Kagan, the more we learn about her openly anti-gun, she praises what Robert Bork called the worst judge in the world.
00:01:05.000 This Israeli judge who calls for judges to be activists, to restrict free speech.
00:01:09.000 She calls for restricting free speech.
00:01:11.000 Obama using executive orders to try to ram through carbon taxes.
00:01:16.000 And on the coal plants, now he wants to do it.
00:01:19.000 We've got eight senators telling us, that's in Fox News and Reuters and other publications, that he may use an executive order to legalize all the illegals, which is pretty unconstitutional.
00:01:30.000 So we're going to talk about it all with Judge Andrew Napolitano.
00:01:33.000 Judge, good to have you here with us.
00:01:34.000 Pleasure to be here, Alex.
00:01:35.000 Thank you for the kind things you said.
00:01:37.000 You actually promoted me.
00:01:38.000 I'm a former life-tenured state judge.
00:01:41.000 State judge!
00:01:42.000 How about grand U.N.
00:01:43.000 judge?
00:01:44.000 Kagan would like to have us under U.N.
00:01:47.000 control, she said so.
00:01:48.000 You know, it's frightening to hear that she has said those things, and one can only hope that they were the musings of a young lawyer, because if she still holds those ideas, That we should have judges like they do in Europe who can outlaw certain types of speech and compel certain types of economic activities.
00:02:07.000 That authority comes nowhere from the Constitution.
00:02:11.000 You and I have criticized George Bush who claimed that he got authority as president from some source.
00:02:15.000 He wouldn't say what the source was other than the Constitution.
00:02:18.000 It was absurd and almost every time he claimed that the court itself knocked him down.
00:02:23.000 Now we have a would-be and probably will-be member of the court who is claiming that the court has authority from some source other than the Constitution and that they should use it according to their political predilections.
00:02:35.000 This, and this alone, is enough to block her from being confirmed.
00:02:41.000 But the Democrats have 59 senators.
00:02:43.000 I'm sure she'll get in no matter what she says.
00:02:46.000 Well what about the quote from her 93 law review where she publicly wrote that if we don't like speech we will quote disappear it and now Obama openly announces the internet electronic kill switch under cyber security.
00:03:00.000 The FCC proposes black boxes in our homes that filter what we can see and that tracks everything we're doing.
00:03:08.000 I mean you talk about the bottom falling out that you've always warned about as a constitutional law scholar that once you go over that threshold That there's nothing there underpinning it.
00:03:18.000 Historically, we always accelerate into tyranny.
00:03:21.000 What's your take on her confirmation?
00:03:24.000 Will she get confirmed?
00:03:25.000 We've seen national polls of less than 38% support her.
00:03:30.000 And what do you say about Obama's move to openly take over the internet?
00:03:34.000 Alright, a couple things.
00:03:36.000 First of all, the concept of a box in the house rings of the Chinese government and rings of George Orwell's 1984.
00:03:44.000 And it is inconceivable that that could be constitutional under the law because the threshold of your house makes you the king of your castle.
00:03:53.000 And if a constitution is going to be followed, the government can't enter directly, physically, or constructively without a search warrant from a judge.
00:04:02.000 That's the law.
00:04:03.000 I don't know that she would uphold it that way, but I believe that a majority of the Supreme Court will.
00:04:08.000 Secondly, regrettably, unfortunately, I believe that she will be confirmed simply because she is the nominee of a Democratic president and the Democrats have 59 votes in the Senate.
00:04:20.000 They don't care what she says.
00:04:22.000 She will, of course, tickle their ivories when she says progressive things.
00:04:28.000 That's with an uppercase T. And progressive, like you have just quoted her as having said.
00:04:34.000 Because the Democrats don't believe in freedom.
00:04:36.000 And many Republicans are in the same boat.
00:04:37.000 The big government crowd doesn't believe in freedom.
00:04:40.000 They believe in power and in conformity.
00:04:43.000 Let's get back into that when we return and I want to talk more about your TV show because this is so important.
00:04:50.000 I mean, liberty is what is most popular.
00:04:52.000 The message that Andrew Napolitano is putting out is winning in the court of ideas.
00:05:00.000 This is Alex Jones with 5 good reasons you should consider buying a solar power generator.
00:05:04.000 Number 1.
00:05:05.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.
00:05:08.000 Number 2.
00:05:09.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.
00:05:14.000 It's true.
00:05:15.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.
00:05:20.000 Number 3.
00:05:21.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.
00:05:24.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.
00:05:28.000 Number 4.
00:05:29.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.
00:05:32.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.
00:05:35.000 Number 5.
00:05:36.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.
00:05:40.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.
00:05:45.000 You can get more information at www.mysolarbackup.com.
00:05:50.000 That's mysolarbackup.com.
00:05:51.000 Remember, the government doesn't own the sun.
00:05:53.000 So go to mysolarbackup.com or call 1-877-327-0365.
00:05:59.000 Big Brother.
00:06:05.000 Mainstream media.
00:06:07.000 Government cover-ups.
00:06:09.000 You want answers?
00:06:11.000 Well, so does he.
00:06:12.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
00:06:16.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
00:06:22.000 We're going to be skipping this network break coming up, so Judge Andrew Napolitano will have plenty of time with us.
00:06:27.000 He's with us until the bottom of the hour.
00:06:29.000 He just finished taping his show, The Bellaire Saturday, on the Fox Business Channel.
00:06:36.000 It premiered last week to the highest ratings of any show on the Fox Business Network.
00:06:42.000 And, uh, my friends, I mean, I've said I can find no fault with Judge Andrew Napolitano.
00:06:47.000 I mean, he exposes the world government, he exposes the false left-right paradigm, he stands up for the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, uh, no matter, you know, uh...
00:06:58.000 how politically incorrect it is, and he is just such a great researcher and a fighter for liberty.
00:07:04.000 And the fact that out of the gates, his show is number one.
00:07:08.000 What does that say?
00:07:09.000 Chris Matthews can't get any viewers.
00:07:12.000 Why does Fox News have conservatively five to ten times, depending on the show, the viewers of Chris Matthews on MSNBC?
00:07:20.000 It's because no one wants to hear establishment, statist, socialist, globalist lies and propaganda.
00:07:26.000 And, you know, compared to the rest of Fox News, I mean, Judge Andrew Napolitano is, you know, like Glenn Beck and the rest of Fox is like Chris Matthews.
00:07:36.000 I mean, I'm sorry if I had to use the analogy here.
00:07:39.000 And so that he's got top ratings, but I knew it was going to happen.
00:07:44.000 I mean, I told him off-air last time I was on, I said, watch, you're gonna be number one.
00:07:47.000 I said, guaranteed, because the people are hungry!
00:07:50.000 And so talk about the success, and then we're gonna get into Obama's increasingly imperial presidency that, according to my research, is exceeding anything we've ever seen in this country.
00:08:02.000 But first, the second show coming up this Saturday.
00:08:06.000 Tell people about it and what the success of your transmission means.
00:08:10.000 Well, the success of our transmission means a couple things.
00:08:13.000 It means that you can take a show from the internet and bring it to the TV screen.
00:08:18.000 It means that there is a thirst out there for a focus on the government that has a bias in favor of human liberty, that believes that the individual is greater than the state, that the individual has natural rights and an immortal soul, and the government is just an artificial creation based on fear and force.
00:08:39.000 That the Constitution means what it says, that that government is best which governs least, that the people are entitled to a government that stays within the confines of the Constitution, and that the Constitution was written to keep the backs off the people.
00:08:53.000 None of those is a radical argument.
00:08:55.000 Those are words, for the most part, from founding fathers and statesmen throughout the country.
00:09:01.000 Unfortunately, they don't resonate to the government.
00:09:04.000 They resonate to people who watch the government, which is why I refer to myself, half seriously and half in jest on the show, as a night watchman.
00:09:12.000 My job is to watch the government under cover of darkness.
00:09:16.000 And report to whoever wants to watch the show when the government steals liberty and when the government steals property.
00:09:22.000 And as you know, Alex, and you've been a pioneer here, governments of both political parties, I should say government of the one big government party with its Republican branch and its Democratic branch, steal liberty and steal property every day.
00:09:36.000 When I attacked the Bush administration, For this?
00:09:40.000 You know, there are a lot of Republicans who kept their noses out of joint.
00:09:44.000 This morning, when we taped our show for this weekend, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, a right-down-the-middle conservative Republican from Southern California, former speechwriter for Ronald Reagan, looked at me and said, Almost all Republicans in the House of Representatives now believe that the war in Iraq was a mistake, that it was unlawful, that it was immoral, that it wasn't worth the lives lost or the trillions that will be spent.
00:10:14.000 Now, that is newsworthy that he would say it.
00:10:18.000 It is newsworthy that so many Republicans would change their mind.
00:10:22.000 It is newsworthy that people are starting to recognize that the government at almost all levels is out of control, and there is a need for the Alex Jones Show and for Freedom Watch to remind people, and when they know where to go, they will go to listen to what the government is doing to them.
00:10:41.000 Well, there's no doubt that on a level playing field where the ideas of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, our founders, common sense, when it's given a level playing field, we win every time.
00:10:54.000 It's like, you know, last year's Super Bowl team playing a group of five-year-old peewee, you know, football players.
00:11:02.000 And that's why Obama is openly coming out, the FCC, the Federal Trade Commission, and this isn't just on Freedom Watch or Infowars.com now, ladies and gentlemen, it's now in the AP, in the Financial Times of London, Obama to have Kill Switch, government to have Black Box in-house that watches everything you do and filters what you can see, government to have megaphone, government to have behavior placement, I mean, this is bona fide tyranny.
00:11:30.000 This is proposed by the Republicans' favorite Democrat, Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, under the guise of, well, if we are attacked, if the power grid is attacked, if the internet is attacked, the president has to have the power to turn it off before the attackers can get into it.
00:11:49.000 The power grid's not hooked up to the internet!
00:11:51.000 Precisely.
00:11:52.000 There's so much illogic in there, but put aside the illogic.
00:11:56.000 What about the Constitution?
00:11:58.000 What about if I want my laptop turned off?
00:12:01.000 I'll turn it off.
00:12:02.000 What about the fact that the laptop is just a modern way to exercise my freedom of speech?
00:12:08.000 And the whole purpose of the First Amendment, according to Justice William Brennan, one of the most liberal appointees of the 20th century, is to keep the government out of the business!
00:12:18.000 Of deciding what I read and what I watch and what I hear, and presumes that the individual is competent to decide what to read, watch, hear, and say.
00:12:27.000 There is absolutely no authority under the Constitution, whether under the dyes of public safety or not.
00:12:34.000 And the government has always used public safety as the excuse to steal our liberties for the government to control the Internet.
00:12:41.000 Oh, how the government would love to have the power over the Internet that the Chinese government has over the Internet there.
00:12:48.000 The Internet has been the greatest tool of the exchange of ideas and of the search for truth since the invention of the printing press.
00:12:56.000 They can't control the printing press, so they want to control the Internet.
00:13:01.000 And expanding on that, they know they can't compete with our ideas.
00:13:05.000 That's why Cass Sunstein, the regulations are.
00:13:07.000 That's why the FCC's diversities are.
00:13:10.000 Praises censorship of Hugo Chavez.
00:13:12.000 I mean, I think Americans need to realize that we're dealing with bonafide despots and tyrants here.
00:13:20.000 And we see Obama, you know, as bad as Bush was, as bad as Clinton was.
00:13:25.000 It's just a progression.
00:13:26.000 But now, because they're No, there's a huge awakening happening.
00:13:31.000 They are accelerating their takeover and we see him federalizing the auto industry, federalizing the banks.
00:13:41.000 We see him now, according to eight senators and Fox News and others are reporting that Obama plans to sign an executive order legalizing all the illegal aliens.
00:13:51.000 For those that aren't a constitutional lawyer like yourself or a former top state judge, Judge Andrew Napolitano, will you explain to them, because from my layman research, the president executes law and the legislative passes it.
00:14:05.000 That is treason.
00:14:06.000 That is an act of sedition against our republic to have the president say that I'm going to launch a war without Congress's approval.
00:14:17.000 I'm going to legalize foreigners.
00:14:19.000 I mean, can you speak to that?
00:14:21.000 Sure, sure, I can speak to it.
00:14:22.000 The President has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws.
00:14:26.000 When the President does things like intimidate the bondholders of GM and Chrysler during their bankruptcies to break the law, intimidate the banks to accept TARP monies that they don't want, intimidate BP to cough up $58-20 billion slush fund that his political appointee can distribute however he wants, intimidate insurance company executives not to Uh, raise premiums until the law that prohibits the raise comes into effect.
00:14:53.000 He is effectively writing laws himself.
00:14:57.000 That is, on its face, unconstitutional.
00:15:00.000 Because the Constitution says only the Congress can write laws, and not the President.
00:15:05.000 The flip side of this is, when he says, we haven't heard this out of his mouth, but we've heard it from people around him, and they're not denying it, which is why Fox and other Uh, outlets are reporting it.
00:15:17.000 He is considering a blanket amnesty of all illegals in the country.
00:15:22.000 The last time we had an amnesty was in the Reagan administration.
00:15:25.000 It was done by the Congress.
00:15:27.000 Only the Congress can do this by changing the law.
00:15:31.000 Does the Congress have the power to change the law?
00:15:33.000 Yes.
00:15:34.000 Does the President have the power to change the law?
00:15:36.000 No.
00:15:37.000 So what could he do?
00:15:38.000 Well, he could, with the stroke of a pen, stop all arrests.
00:15:43.000 And stop all deportations.
00:15:45.000 So who are you?
00:15:48.000 Yeah, who are you?

00:17:02.000 We are part of a New World Order.
00:17:04.000 A New World Order based upon collective action.
00:17:07.000 Invisible Empire is a damning indictment of the globalists through their own words and documents.
00:17:13.000 The New World Order really is a tool for addressing a new world of possibilities.
00:17:17.000 It means all the world under their control.
00:17:19.000 The United Nations would take over America.
00:17:22.000 The Trilateral Commission would control the world.
00:17:25.000 Invisible Empire chronicles how men of power and influence have worked in stealth for centuries to establish an oppressive world government.
00:17:33.000 I believe first of all that we now need nothing short of a world constitution for the global financial system.
00:17:38.000 Global governance with the establishment of the G20.
00:17:41.000 So it's going to be an inner ruling elite and then everyone else.
00:17:45.000 And I got news for you.
00:17:46.000 You're everyone else.

00:19:04.000 What have we got?
00:19:05.000 A republic or a monarchy?
00:19:07.000 A republic is based on a constitution which protects minority rights.
00:19:11.000 Not democracy, not mob rule.
00:19:14.000 Two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.
00:19:16.000 So they think they own our land?
00:19:17.000 They think they own our water?

00:19:31.000 We have the Constitution.

00:20:01.000 Coast to Coast, direct from Austin.
00:20:04.000 You're listening to the Alex Jones Broadcasting Network.
00:20:08.000 I would imagine you're aware of this case, but it's been in the Salt Lake City Papers.
00:20:20.000 Nat Hentoff has written about it for the Reading Eagle.
00:20:24.000 Philadelphia man indicted for using right to free speech.
00:20:27.000 And I saw this a few months ago, but now they're going ahead with the three felonies.
00:20:31.000 And the party's been charged for, he was watching an unemployment debate about getting rid of his benefits.
00:20:39.000 His quote is that, are you crazy?
00:20:43.000 Are you all insane?
00:20:45.000 No checks equals no food for me.
00:20:47.000 Do you get it?
00:20:49.000 And he sent it as an email.
00:20:51.000 And under the Telecommunications Act of 1996, under Section 1934, he did utilize a telecommunications device, whether or not communication ensued without disclosing his identity, it was his email, whether or not communication ensued without disclosing his identity, it was his email, and with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, and harass any person who
00:21:15.000 And it says he would serve the three counts concurrently as much as 30 years federally in prison for calling the senator insane.
00:21:25.000 I would think that a federal judge would not permit such a prosecution.
00:21:30.000 I'm convinced absolutely that the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, which is the federal appeals court that covers Pennsylvania, would invalidate it.
00:21:38.000 That court particularly has a tradition Sure, but what does this say about the mindset of the people that are in these federal positions, these federal prosecutors?
00:21:54.000 I mean, now?
00:21:55.000 I mean, that's an example of how they can pass a law and then not use it until 14 years later.
00:22:01.000 It's like...
00:22:02.000 Well, it's unconstitutionally vague, and quite frankly, Alex, there are Supreme Court opinions that say that the Congress cannot stop you from annoying or offensive speech because the First Amendment protects annoying or offensive speech, and the Supreme Court For all of the wacky things that it's done, you know, it allowed slavery, it allowed abortion, it allows prosecutions of crimes that should exist.
00:22:29.000 Today, by a 9-0 vote, gave federal prosecutors The greatest rebuke that they have ever had in modern times when it found unconstitutional their favorite tool, their favorite weapon, which is the honest services law.
00:22:46.000 That law allowed federal prosecutors to prosecute even people who did the right thing if they harbored in their mind a desire to benefit from it themselves.
00:22:56.000 The mayor of Newark, New Jersey, went to jail because he had sex with a real estate agent that the city hired to sell city property.
00:23:05.000 Did she sell the city property at market rates?
00:23:08.000 Yes.
00:23:09.000 Did the city lose a nickel?
00:23:11.000 Yes.
00:23:11.000 But because the mayor had sex with her, he was convicted by a federal prosecutor, who's now the governor of New Jersey, and by a federal jury in Newark for violating the honest services law.
00:23:22.000 He was more interested in sex than he was in a professional relationship.
00:23:25.000 Well, that's a thought crime.
00:23:26.000 I mean, that's controlling who we can associate with.
00:23:29.000 The Supreme Court today, with everybody from Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Antonin Scalia and the other seven in between agreeing, invalidated that and said to the feds, you cannot use language creatively to prosecute people.
00:23:43.000 You must use statutory language narrowly.
00:23:46.000 Now, at the risk of getting too into the weeds, I make this argument for you, Alex, because I am convinced That this prosecution, about which you have rightly complained, and which you have wonderfully exposed in Philadelphia, ought never to occur, and if it does occur, will be thrown out at the appellate level, especially after this case came down today.
00:24:05.000 But we should not even have people In a position of power.
00:24:09.000 In a position to decide who gets indicted and who gets prosecuted.
00:24:13.000 Who have a mindset that they can use the power of the government to punish speech.
00:24:18.000 Because if anything is sacrosanct in this country, is that you can say anything you want, anytime you want, anywhere you want, about anybody in the government.
00:24:26.000 That's what's so incredible about this is that we see countless videos of police beating somebody up and then charging the person they beat up with assaulting them.
00:24:36.000 You see countless videos of police going to the wrong house and killing somebody's chihuahua.
00:24:42.000 We see countless videos of police all over the country.
00:24:45.000 Pulling a motorcycler over who has a camera mounted on his head because he's videotaping a YouTube video and indicting him for wiretapping when there's no reasonable perception of privacy.
00:24:58.000 I mean, more and more, the government is really showing us that they want to be tyrants, that this is real tyranny.
00:25:07.000 But the good news is, And it's evidenced by your show being the number one show out of the gates on the Fox Business Network with its first premiere, is that the sleeping giant is awakening.
00:25:18.000 I cannot stress enough, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and for all the listeners out there, I want you to briefly comment on this because we're almost out of time, that when we say there's an awakening happening, I don't think the system even understands how big this is.
00:25:31.000 I think you're right, and I've been privileged to come along at the right time.
00:25:36.000 I show Freedom Watch, which can be seen on the Fox Business Network, 10 a.m.
00:25:41.000 and 8 p.m.
00:25:42.000 Eastern Time on Saturday, 7 p.m.
00:25:45.000 and 11 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, has sort of captured the crest of a wave.
00:25:50.000 If you ask people, and Ron Paul told me this, and he's right, do you want to take care of yourself or do you want the government to take care of you?
00:25:56.000 Do you want to make decisions on your own or do you want the government to make decisions for you?
00:26:00.000 Do you want to be able to think as you please and say what you think and publish what you say?
00:26:04.000 Or do you want the government to interfere with that?
00:26:05.000 When you put things to people like that, almost everyone comes down on the side of freedom.
00:26:11.000 And that's what's made Freedom Watch successful, that's what's made you successful, and that's what's made the government fearful.
00:26:18.000 Well, there's nothing better the few times in my life when I've had a chance to go for a hike, a week-long hike, where you've got the backpack on, you've got your tent, you've got your food, and just to go out there and to rely on yourself.
00:26:30.000 And it's really an analogy of that.
00:26:32.000 I mean, I don't want a bunch of distant bureaucrats, who happen to be crooks nine times out of ten, running my life.
00:26:37.000 It's so fundamental.
00:26:39.000 They've bankrupted our society.
00:26:40.000 They've launched all these illegal wars.
00:26:42.000 Bush, three weeks ago, was out giving speeches about how he ordered torture.
00:26:46.000 Meanwhile, they sent people to prison who followed those orders.
00:26:49.000 I mean, this is tyranny.
00:26:51.000 And I keep saying that.
00:26:52.000 I mean, folks, do you know where tyranny leads?
00:26:55.000 And I think God's given us a chance.
00:26:57.000 I think, you know, history is giving us a chance, Judge.
00:27:00.000 And I want you to speak to this.
00:27:01.000 We are at a crossroads.
00:27:03.000 And if good people like yourself and Ron Paul and many others, but also just the rank and file folks out there stand up as leaders, Speak up, point out the emperor is wearing no clothes, and rebuke this evil like Hitler should have been rebuked, like Stalin should have been rebuked, or Mao Zedong before they really got going.
00:27:22.000 We have a chance to avert a historical disaster because there's no doubt, studying history, that if we don't take America back right now, America won't lead us into the 21st century worldwide for liberty.
00:27:34.000 America will lead the way into a new dark age of despotism that dwarfs anything I am reading a terrific book.
00:27:42.000 It's the second time I've read it in my life.
00:27:44.000 It's Hayek's, H-A-Y-E-K, F.A.
00:27:47.000 Hayek's, The Road to Serfdom.
00:27:49.000 It was written in 1944, and it describes how Europe descended into serfdom as people like Mussolini and Hitler were popularly elected against legitimate opponents, and the public and the government gave them all the power that they had.
00:28:04.000 It is eerily, eerily reminiscent, eerily predictive, because it was written 65 years ago, of exactly what's happening today.
00:28:15.000 Central planning by bureaucrats, not even by popularly elected officials, but by bureaucrats.
00:28:21.000 The decision that power is more in the spotlight than liberty.
00:28:27.000 The decision that individuals should not be able to make choices for themselves.
00:28:32.000 Look, we have to be on the watch for the Force of Liberty.
00:28:35.000 It doesn't happen overnight.
00:28:37.000 You'll take my life, but I'll take yours, too!
00:28:40.000 You're fire musket, but I'll run you through!
00:28:43.000 So when you're waiting for the next attack, You better stand, there's no turning back!
00:28:49.000 The fewer sounds, the chance begins!
00:28:52.000 But on this battlefield, no one wins!
00:28:54.000 The smell of earthly, smokin' horses breath!

00:31:59.000 This is Alex Jones with 5 good reasons you should consider buying a solar power generator.
00:32:03.000 Number 1.
00:32:04.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.
00:32:08.000 Number 2.
00:32:09.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.
00:32:14.000 It's true.
00:32:14.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.
00:32:19.000 Number 3.
00:32:20.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.
00:32:24.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.
00:32:27.000 Number 4.
00:32:28.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.
00:32:31.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.
00:32:35.000 Number 5.
00:32:35.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.
00:32:40.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

00:32:56.000 Coast to Coast.
00:33:02.000 Direct from Austin.
00:33:04.000 You're listening to the Alex Jones Broadcasting Network.
00:33:08.000 Well, ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you for joining I want to thank you for joining us.
00:33:28.000 We're going to have Ron Paul with us until about 55 after today.
00:33:32.000 Unless the bell rings and he's got to go vote, we appreciate him joining us.
00:33:36.000 I'm just not going to mince words.
00:33:37.000 I'm going to go through a laundry list.
00:33:39.000 of issues.
00:33:40.000 Congressman, as you know, the FCC has said they want to start taking over the internet, the Federal Communications Commission.
00:33:48.000 We also have the Federal Trade Commission saying they want to start taxing the internet and literally funding old line media.
00:33:56.000 That sounds like it violates the First Amendment and so many others.
00:33:59.000 We have Kagan with her anti-First Amendment statements about disappearing speech that the government finds to be hurtful.
00:34:07.000 As long as the government feels it's a moral reason they can restrict our speech.
00:34:11.000 We've got the Federal Election Commission coming after Campaign for Liberty, as you put out your press release yesterday, saying you can't...
00:34:20.000 Well, it's going in the wrong direction, obviously, and that is what I understand about Campaign for Liberty.
00:34:25.000 I mean, this is 180 degrees, the opposite of what our country was founded on.
00:34:29.000 I can't even believe this is happening.
00:34:31.000 Can you speak to that and where this is going?
00:34:33.000 Well, it's going in the wrong direction, obviously, and that is what I understand about Campaign for Liberty.
00:34:40.000 They've had somebody at least make a charge and file a complaint that there was a violation, but it probably won't hold up, hopefully.
00:34:51.000 But the whole idea that people think they can and harass you and you go through this legal maneuvering because that is the goal of many is to control us.
00:34:58.000 I think the main goal is also to control the Internet.
00:35:01.000 They're very interested in that.
00:35:03.000 The other day we had what sounded like a pretty benign vote.
00:35:05.000 It was under suspension and that was to praise the idea that government and private entities would study and work together on how to provide cyber security.
00:35:16.000 And I don't know if there's anybody else that voted against it.
00:35:19.000 I voted against it just on this principle that we don't need that.
00:35:23.000 We don't need these private sources cooperating with the federal resources, you know, the government forces in order to have cyber security.
00:35:30.000 I don't think the government's interested in our security.
00:35:33.000 They're interested in their security.
00:35:36.000 But, yes, I think everything is going, especially with this administration, is going in the wrong direction.
00:35:41.000 And I've always been fearful of them wanting to take over the Internet.
00:35:45.000 You know, they've made this announcement that, you know, if necessary, they might even just close down the Internet, which would be devastating to all of us.
00:35:54.000 Well, that's what Lieberman said on CNN.
00:35:55.000 He said, China has this power.
00:35:57.000 We need it.
00:35:58.000 And I would imagine they'll shut it down a few times, but turn it right back on and say, see, we saved it.
00:36:06.000 Unfortunately, I'm afraid that could very well happen.
00:36:11.000 Well, expanding on that, two things, and I want your specific take on this, Congressman Ron Paul.
00:36:16.000 We appreciate you joining us today.
00:36:18.000 This shows that we're really having an effect, that they're harassing Campaign for Liberty, that they're openly coming out and saying they want to restrict free speech, put taxes, quote, on conspiracy theories and Cass Sunstein at the White House.
00:36:30.000 The regulations are said like anthropogenic global warming.
00:36:34.000 If you deny that, maybe we should tax you or fine you.
00:36:37.000 I mean, the fact that they want to shut us up shows that we're gaining ground, A, and B, doesn't it reveal to everyone just how tyrannical these people really are?
00:36:48.000 I think it does, and it's a real job to sort all this out, because sometimes people think that all we need are a couple more Republicans and that'll solve the problem, but that's not necessarily the case.
00:37:00.000 Right now, it's the Democrats who are in charge, and they're the ones who are wanting to radicalize this whole thing.
00:37:09.000 And we know that that is the agenda of many, you know, in the establishment, and that is more government control and less personal freedom, more taxes, the whole mess that we've been fighting.
00:37:21.000 I still hold out that the people are waking up and it may well be that the opposition, that is the government, is getting very concerned that the people are becoming alert from all that has been done in the Freedom Movement.
00:37:42.000 Demit reported that 94% of Senate bills are not read.
00:37:45.000 I know the number in the House is similar.
00:37:47.000 And so, 94% of the bills aren't even looked at.
00:37:51.000 Special interests are riding them.
00:37:52.000 We've had an offshore corporate coup.
00:37:56.000 And then, separately, they passed the law in the House, what, two days ago, to not let, quote, special interests tell you how someone is voted months before an election, a restriction of free speech.
00:38:09.000 So, they're not reading the bills, and they don't want us to know how they voted, and the FEC is trying to keep Campaign for Liberty from being able to tell people how folks voted.
00:38:21.000 I mean, this really is tyranny.
00:38:23.000 Well, yes, and they want to make sure that independent organizations and corporations can't spend their money or tell people how they vote.
00:38:32.000 But, you know, there are corporations, and this is where I think you can fall into the category, because if you run a newspaper or you have a TV show, that's a corporation.
00:38:43.000 It can be a corporation, but they're not going to regulate them.
00:38:46.000 So if there is an organization or a political action committee or a private group or corporation who wants to tell people how to vote, no, you might be restricted.
00:38:55.000 But they never think for a minute they should restrict the media, assuming that the media is always going to be radical left and defend their candidates.
00:39:03.000 But, you know, there's just a few people on cable and radio and other places that, you know, the way I would understand what they're doing, they still haven't come to trying to regulate what the TV stations are saying or what the radios are saying.
00:39:20.000 Congressman, going into another very important subject, I almost fell off my chair last Friday when the Washington Post admitted in an article that they're set to pass the financial reform bill.
00:39:33.000 They admitted there's $600 trillion in derivatives.
00:39:36.000 They went on, that was the first time I'd seen that in a mainstream publication, just to admit that the Federal Reserve is going to have a new group with almost total autonomy, that was their words, to control all other financial institutions.
00:39:50.000 The Texas Banking Association president has said that the very groups that gave us derivatives with an unfair trade advantage for themselves want to be able to take over all the smaller local banks and that really out of the crisis the big mega banks, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and others created, they are now going to get even Goldman Sachs and others created, they are now going to get even more power over the rest of the economy and that this is an expanded Federal Reserve coup Can you elaborate on that and give us-
00:40:17.000 Yeah, and I think you've described it rather well, but that's not the way they claim it is.
00:40:23.000 You know, they claim, well, this is going to protect the consumers.
00:40:26.000 It's not run by the Fed.
00:40:28.000 They don't have authority.
00:40:29.000 But it's going to be in the Federal Reserve.
00:40:32.000 They do not have control over the policy.
00:40:34.000 But guess what?
00:40:36.000 Guess who pays for it?
00:40:37.000 The Federal Reserve pays for it.
00:40:39.000 So it isn't even appropriation, it isn't even, you know, part of the appropriation process.
00:40:44.000 So you have this new regulatory agency supposed to protect the consumer, but I think it's going to protect the special interests that have had all the benefits and then got bailed out.
00:40:55.000 So, this package which passed the House yesterday, you know, is very bad for all of us.
00:41:03.000 And it does give more power to all the regulators, especially the Federal Reserve.
00:41:07.000 I don't know whether you want to talk about it now, but that's where I offered my motion to recommit, dealing with the audit defense bill.
00:41:13.000 Were you up on that?
00:41:14.000 No, that's exactly where I wanted to go next.
00:41:17.000 I wanted to illustrate for listeners that just joined us that Congressman Ron Paul is here.
00:41:21.000 Twenty-something years ago in Congress, he couldn't get one co-sponsor, and I wanted to make this point.
00:41:26.000 It seems the House and Senate are schizophrenic.
00:41:28.000 The House votes by two-thirds.
00:41:30.000 Uh, to pass your bill to truly audit the quasi-governmental, uh, banking holding company, the Federal Reserve, that took over in 1913, but then, which is the right thing to do, but it never passed the Senate properly, uh, and then now they're back giving the Federal Reserve even more power outside of government and Congress, uh, to regulate themselves.
00:41:51.000 I mean, this is amazing.
00:41:52.000 So, uh, break that oxymoron down for us and tell us about your new amendment.
00:41:56.000 Well, it tells you about the hypocrisy of this whole place and how it works and how powerful the Fed is.
00:42:03.000 We passed it in the Financial Services Committee, the Audit the Fed Bill, and it was part of the reform package.
00:42:03.000 You're right.
00:42:10.000 Then it came to the House floor and they kept it in, so the House floor supported it.
00:42:15.000 We have 320 co-sponsors.
00:42:17.000 Then it goes to the conference with the Senate and they drop it.
00:42:20.000 They put some things in there to look at the Fed, which are slightly helpful, but they get rid of the true audit.
00:42:26.000 So when the bill comes back to the House, guess what?
00:42:29.000 We don't have the audit bill provision in there.
00:42:32.000 So I was able to offer an amendment, which was a recommit amendment, send it back to committee and put back in the true audit.
00:42:41.000 Monday, the day of the day, the day of the day, the day of the day, and you're okay.

00:47:01.000 Coast to Coast.
00:47:02.000 Direct from Austin.
00:47:04.000 You're listening to the Alex Jones Broadcasting Network.
00:47:08.000 I don't like having concealed carry because that turns a right into a privilege in states where it's already legal to carry a gun holstered.
00:47:21.000 But if you pass it in Texas or Florida and the crime rates drop by over 20% in both states, the same numbers in other states, even though it's a restriction to a certain extent, it illustrates that more guns means less crime and so you win the overall intellectual war.
00:47:38.000 Yeah, that's a powerful message and I think more and more people are coming around to that.
00:47:43.000 And I think politically, we generally have won this.
00:47:46.000 They sort of come into some of these regulations through the back door.
00:47:49.000 You know, in the last several elections, the Democratic candidate usually doesn't go out preaching about how he's going to round up the guns and register guns.
00:47:57.000 They stay away from that.
00:47:58.000 They pretend that, oh, we're not going to do that.
00:48:01.000 We're not going to do that.
00:48:02.000 But backdoor legislation, they generally are always trying to do that.
00:48:06.000 Let's talk about the oil spill.
00:48:08.000 And again, just to preface this, BP gave orders that they knew would cause a problem.
00:48:15.000 It turns out two months before it was leaking, BP is one of the biggest contributors to Obama.
00:48:19.000 They funded the carbon tax.
00:48:21.000 They've got a global governance office with a vice president over it.
00:48:25.000 They've always wanted to nationalize oil so they get an inside deal.
00:48:30.000 I'm very suspicious of how this has been handled.
00:48:32.000 We're 70 plus days in.
00:48:34.000 Obama has blocked a Taiwanese ship that can get half a million barrels a day scooped up.
00:48:40.000 They've blocked over 30 other mega ships.
00:48:43.000 Now the hurricanes are coming in.
00:48:45.000 He's saying he may look at letting them come in.
00:48:47.000 Once that oil gets blown in, they're going to have a major disaster.
00:48:52.000 The Washington Post is talking about forced Obama's answer is, give me the carbon tax.
00:48:58.000 Rahm Emanuel said, don't let a good crisis go to waste.
00:49:01.000 I don't see this as Obama versus BP as the media has phrased it.
00:49:06.000 Really, this is Obama working with BP to try to get his carbon tax.
00:49:12.000 Congressman, this is out in international water.
00:49:15.000 Why don't we just have the salvagers in there to begin with?
00:49:17.000 How can Obama tell people 50 miles out in the Gulf what to do?
00:49:21.000 You forgot, he can write executive orders.
00:49:23.000 Executive orders to do anything they want.
00:49:29.000 It is a real mess.
00:49:30.000 You know, if a state needs some manpower, generally they don't have manpower that might be able to help out.
00:49:36.000 That would be maybe their National Guard units.
00:49:39.000 They're all over in Afghanistan and Iraq.
00:49:42.000 I would say that, you know, if an emergency like this, this might be an incentive to say, hey, why don't you bring these troops home and maybe Maybe even some different states would share some of their people to help.
00:49:53.000 I mean, it's practically like an invasion, the way this oil is coming in.
00:49:57.000 But I think that, yes, I'm very suspicious of what BP and our government is doing and the Obama administration.
00:50:06.000 And that's why I've even challenged the principle of this agreement they have to set up, you know, this fund, this $20 billion fund.
00:50:16.000 Sounds like a lot of money, but it sounds like there could be a lot of mischief, too.
00:50:21.000 And that was done by just executive order.
00:50:23.000 The president declared, we're going to add this up.
00:50:25.000 And then he came to the Congress and asked even for more authority to go anyplace asking questions and trying to figure out what to do.
00:50:33.000 Yeah, I saw a report that they're blocking, I'm sorry to interrupt, I saw a report in the AP actually, they're trying to block Republican groups from going and looking at the Gulf.
00:50:42.000 I mean, Obama doesn't have that power.
00:50:44.000 Yeah, well, he might take it, he doesn't deserve that power, but sometimes they assume power that they have, but just, you know, no he doesn't.
00:50:52.000 That's not a proper power that he has.
00:50:58.000 I'm not too pleased either, and I think, you know, a BP corporation is in bed with government, so you have to be suspect.
00:51:06.000 Just think of how much we spend protecting their oil well and their oil drilling.
00:51:11.000 What do you think we're over in the Middle East for?
00:51:13.000 We're not over there to spread democracy.
00:51:15.000 We're over there to protect oil companies, and BP just happens to be over there as well.
00:51:22.000 Did you see the video, you probably didn't two weeks ago, but it was on Drudge and Infowars.com and everywhere else.
00:51:28.000 Senator Kyle said he was in a closed-door meeting with Obama and said, look, tens of thousands dead, 80 miles to 100 miles, illegal aliens, they're shutting down national parks, the border's collapsing, Mexico's collapsed.
00:51:39.000 And Obama said, I'm not gonna fix the border till you pass amnesty.
00:51:43.000 I need to use that crisis.
00:51:45.000 This is a quote.
00:51:46.000 And Senator Kyle said that this is basically Holding us hostage in a form of terrorism.
00:51:52.000 I mean, that sounds like an impeachable offense, Congressman.
00:51:55.000 And to have a senator say he was in a meeting with Obama.
00:51:58.000 A, what's your take on that?
00:52:00.000 And B, I mean, that is a false flag to let the crime continue and not protect our border when that's in the Constitution.
00:52:08.000 One of the few duties of the feds.
00:52:09.000 What would you say to that?
00:52:11.000 Well, since I wasn't at that meeting and exactly what it said, I don't know.
00:52:15.000 So it would have to be up to the Senator to decide what to do with it.
00:52:19.000 But they certainly don't act like they have an incentive to do much with the borders.
00:52:25.000 And that, of course, could eventually lead to a national security problem as well.
00:52:30.000 Well, okay, Congressman Ron Paul, what about his executive order?
00:52:34.000 And now they say they're going to sue Arizona, and they're saying Arizona isn't allowed to protect itself when a third of the state is now being denied to the citizens.
00:52:45.000 I mean, this is confirmed.
00:52:47.000 What's your view on the constitutionality of an executive order by the president to legalize the illegals?
00:52:55.000 Well, he can't do it unilaterally like that.
00:52:57.000 No, Congress would have to act and take a policy on that and write the rules.
00:53:02.000 The federal government has authority over our borders, but, you know, it should be that the private landowners should have a lot of authority, along with the states themselves with jurisdiction.
00:53:15.000 And yet, instead of permitting them to exert their authority over their own land, whether it's private or the state, the federal government comes in and says, you can't do it.
00:53:26.000 So they're acting perversely to what I think the federal government ought to be doing.
00:53:31.000 Congressman, I know you're a busy man, but have you had a chance to watch Kagan and the hearings, and then expanding on that, all of her open statements about socialism being great and the government can disappear speech, going back to that, are you concerned about Kagan?
00:53:49.000 Oh, I am, but I'm sure if he put ten new ones up in place of her, I'd be very concerned, too.
00:53:56.000 I haven't watched the hearings, but I've read about her.
00:53:59.000 And she certainly is not going to be a great defender of the Constitution, although she's going to make it sound like she is, so I'm not too encouraged with that appointment for sure.
00:54:13.000 Congressman, what's your take on the Russian spy situation?
00:54:17.000 It seems like they're trying to kick off a new Cold War with that.
00:54:20.000 And my issue is, globalization is treason.
00:54:24.000 Globalization is corporations and megabanks taking over our government.
00:54:29.000 And so what is the difference between Russian spies sneaking around and megacorporations coming in and openly buying off our politicians?
00:54:37.000 Yeah, I think this is a little bit of hype.
00:54:40.000 I think even the media, the mainstream media is sort of making fun of all this, and I think rightfully so.
00:54:47.000 They just didn't look like a great threat to me.
00:54:50.000 And I had somebody in for a luncheon today that was sort of knowledgeable about this, and he said that He said that there's a lot of spying going on in the world.
00:55:01.000 Other countries come in here, they do it routinely, and we're all over the place, all over the world.
00:55:07.000 And it's almost, he described it almost like a game they play.
00:55:11.000 I mean, it's really not serious intrigue.
00:55:14.000 And my guess is that people like to stir things up, scare the people, and who knows?
00:55:20.000 I hope it doesn't lead to another Cold War with the Russians.
00:55:23.000 I don't think they're looking for trouble.
00:55:25.000 And we certainly shouldn't be looking for it either.
00:55:28.000 Alright, Congressman Ron Paul, we appreciate your time.
00:55:30.000 In closing, and I know you'll say, well, if I was president, I would only have the powers of the president, but what would you recommend?
00:55:37.000 What would you do?
00:55:37.000 If Ron Paul would have been elected back in 2008, as we all wish you would have been, forecasting everything that's now happened, if you would have been elected, what would you have done with the oil spill, and what would you be doing now?
00:55:52.000 I'd probably work at getting the government out of the way.
00:55:55.000 I would have done everything possible to alleviate any federal restrictions on the state or property owners.
00:56:02.000 I would have accepted anybody who had an offer to come in and help.
00:56:07.000 I would have worked to remove any liability limitations on BP.
00:56:16.000 And I would have, of course, by the time we had the oil spill, I would have had all the guard units back in the individual states, and they would have had the right to use their guard units as they pleased.
00:56:29.000 And I would actually encourage other guard units and not pretend that the guard units belong to the president, but they belong to the states and the government.
00:56:38.000 And I think they could have done a lot to alleviate some of the damage.
00:56:44.000 I do not believe that there would have been any magic with any one individual who said, oh, I know how to cap this thing.
00:56:50.000 Let me do it.
00:56:51.000 I actually do believe they're trying seriously to stop this.
00:56:55.000 I don't think it serves anybody's benefit.
00:56:58.000 But I think right now the assumption is that the government, you know, didn't have a role to play.
00:57:05.000 And what they did was actually made this worse because of the rules.
00:57:09.000 Of pushing them out into deep sea drilling.
00:57:11.000 That was part of the problem too.
00:57:13.000 But I would not have closed down drilling like Obama wants to do.
00:57:17.000 That's not going to help us.
00:57:20.000 That just makes the unemployment.
00:57:22.000 Well, the Russians and the Chinese and the people in Brazil, they're not stopping drilling in the Gulf.
00:57:28.000 We don't own the Gulf.
00:57:29.000 He's just stopped any companies in the U.S.
00:57:31.000 I mean, this is outrageous, and they're going to use it to pass cap-and-trade.
00:57:36.000 Congressman Ron Paul, everybody's got to get behind Campaign for Liberty.
00:57:39.000 They've got to get behind Rand Paul.
00:57:40.000 We're going to win this, and we appreciate your leadership, and we know you're there working tirelessly for us in Congress.
00:57:46.000 God bless you, sir.
00:57:47.000 Thank you.
00:57:50.000 They helped to create a New World Order.
00:57:53.000 We are part of a New World Order.
00:57:55.000 A New World Order based upon collective action.
00:57:58.000 Invisible Empire is a damning indictment of the globalists through their own words and documents.
00:58:03.000 The New World Order really is a tool for addressing a new world of possibilities.
00:58:08.000 It means all the world under their control.
00:58:10.000 The United Nations would take over America.
00:58:13.000 The Trilateral Commission would control the world.
00:58:16.000 Invisible Empire chronicles how men of power and influence have worked in stealth for centuries to establish an oppressive world government.
00:58:24.000 I believe first of all that we now need nothing short of a world constitution for the global financial system.
00:58:29.000 Global governance with the establishment of the G20.
00:58:32.000 So it's going to be an inner ruling elite and then everyone else.
00:58:36.000 And I got news for you.
00:58:37.000 You're everyone else.
00:58:38.000 Invisible Empire.

01:00:13.000 He's Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
01:00:17.000 And now, live from Austin, Texas, Alex Jones.
01:00:24.000 Well, I'm extremely excited to have Governor Jesse Ventura, former Minnesota governor, with us.
01:00:30.000 He's also the star of the hit TV show, number one new show on TruTV, picked up for a second season.
01:00:36.000 He's been out shooting in the last month, back from Mexico.
01:00:40.000 A lot has happened behind the scenes.
01:00:42.000 Of course, I'm not allowed to talk about it and uh the governor the head of the show he can talk about as much of it as he wants but it's been very interesting i'll tell you this i can't get emails uh to because i'm consulting some on it i i from home from my employees emails to tyrell and other people working on the show so there's a lot of a lot of chicanery going on uh with the governor out there on the road because he's getting close to some really uh you know dangerous issues he's going
01:01:10.000 He'll talk about the oil spill, we'll get into the economy, the wars, McChrystal, all of it.
01:01:15.000 Today, of course, his new book has been on the New York Times bestseller list for the last two months.
01:01:20.000 It's available in bookstores everywhere.
01:01:22.000 Jesse Ventura with Dick Russell, American Conspiracies.
01:01:25.000 It's also available at InfoWars.com.
01:01:28.000 And he's not on the talk circuit right now.
01:01:29.000 You know, a few times a year he comes out and does interviews.
01:01:31.000 He's giving us this interview.
01:01:33.000 He gave Larry King one a few weeks ago.
01:01:35.000 And so I feel very honored to have the governor join us.
01:01:39.000 Governor, great to have you.
01:01:40.000 Great to be here, Alex.
01:01:41.000 No, I only did the Larry interview because they requested it that Oliver Stone was going to be on.
01:01:46.000 And I thoroughly enjoy Oliver's movie making and his talent.
01:01:51.000 And if we could go on that for a moment, he sent me a copy of his film.
01:01:58.000 I think it's called South of the Border, the documentary, and I watched it.
01:02:03.000 And as I said on Larry King, I urge everyone to watch this film.
01:02:08.000 Because it's on Hugo Chavez.
01:02:11.000 And it's on South America, and it also covers how things that we're hearing here through our media are totally wrong from what the reality is down there.
01:02:24.000 Well, I know the media lied and said that Chavez had said that a U.S.
01:02:28.000 weapon caused the Haitian earthquake, and then it did get retracted later, but a little bitty paragraph in the Washington Post, the New York Times, he never said that.
01:02:37.000 Well, the thing is about, it's even bigger than that, Alex.
01:02:40.000 It's a case of this.
01:02:41.000 It's now clear to me, and don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-business, I'm not anti-anything, really, I'm a great believer in freedom, but it seems that any country that nationalizes their oil and nationalizes their natural resources but it seems that any country that nationalizes their oil and nationalizes their natural resources and doesn't let our corporations go in there and, for lack of better
01:03:07.000 Well, we then call that person a communist, a dictator, and we start working to oust them.
01:03:13.000 I mean, we attempted a coup against Chavez back in 2003.
01:03:18.000 But the people, the guy's been voted into office so many times you can't imagine.
01:03:23.000 All the other South American leaders love the guy.
01:03:26.000 He comes from a very modest background of being one of the people.
01:03:31.000 He truly is.
01:03:33.000 And let people be their own judge, but when Oliver and I were on the show, here comes Congressman, uh, what's his name from Florida?
01:03:44.000 Baseball, Connie Back.
01:03:46.000 And he's advocating that this film should be banned.
01:03:51.000 And I ask him, have you seen it?
01:03:52.000 And he goes, no.
01:03:54.000 That's the big picture, Alex, is that we're supposed to be a free country.
01:03:59.000 You don't have to like Hugo Chavez, but you should at least have the ability to learn about the guy from alternative sources and not just what our government tells us about him.
01:04:10.000 Well that's the renaissance way and I did watch the Larry King episode and he did say, basically, ban it.
01:04:16.000 And what an amazing anti-American statement.
01:04:18.000 Even if I disagree with something, I think that, you know, it should be available.
01:04:25.000 You know, banning things, that's ridiculous!
01:04:28.000 We learn because we learn all about things and then make proper judgments and we can all make them.
01:04:35.000 But you certainly can't make them if you're not getting necessarily the whole truth or can't seek alternative methods of learning about stuff.
01:04:44.000 If we rely solely on our government, Alex, and the mainstream soundbite media, We will be the most ignorant nation in the world.
01:04:54.000 Well, in many respects we are.
01:04:56.000 Stay there, Governor Jesse Ventura.
01:04:58.000 We'll be right back.
01:05:00.000 The question is, where should the American people draw their line in the sand?
01:05:05.000 What have we got?
01:05:06.000 A republic or a monarchy?
01:05:08.000 A republic.
01:05:10.000 It's based on a constitution which protects minority rights.
01:05:12.000 Not democracy, not mob rule.
01:05:14.000 Two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.
01:05:16.000 So they think they own our land?
01:05:18.000 They think they own our water?
01:05:19.000 Children?
01:05:20.000 Our education?
01:05:21.000 Our money?
01:05:22.000 We have to define who we are and what we will tolerate.
01:05:26.000 Somebody's gonna ask you what you did during the Patriot Uprising.
01:05:31.000 We have the facts.
01:05:32.000 We have the Constitution.
01:05:33.000 We have the Bill of Rights.
01:05:34.000 We have common law.
01:05:35.000 Knowledge is power, ladies and gentlemen.
01:05:37.000 And I'm so excited to be able to offer you Don't Tread on Me, Rise of the Republic.
01:05:41.000 Tyranny is upon us, but liberty and the sleeping giant that is the American people is rising.
01:05:46.000 A new tool in the Info War.
01:05:48.000 Don't tread on me.
01:05:49.000 Order it at InfoWars.com or PrisonPlanet.com or call toll free 888-253-3139 and support independent patriotic liberty films.
01:06:01.000 Ease the T-Rex of political talk.
01:06:03.000 Alex Jones on the GCN Radio Network.
01:06:06.000 All right, for the balance of the hour, Governor Jesse Ventura joins us for this exclusive interview. - Jim.
01:06:19.000 And we're going to get into the open announcements of the federalization of the internet, the march towards war with Iran.
01:06:27.000 We're going to cover Lieberman and McCain's bill to secretly arrest U.S.
01:06:30.000 citizens outside of judicial law.
01:06:33.000 And only an active Congress can order your release or even find out where you are.
01:06:37.000 We're going to discuss all of this today.
01:06:38.000 And he's also had some really spooky things happen.
01:06:41.000 I wish he could tell you more, but I'll tell you as much as he can with his contract with True TV, he can't, you know, ahead of the season tell you what's happening with the production, but it is wild what is going on.
01:06:54.000 So that's coming up later in the hour.
01:06:56.000 But for folks that just joined us, Governor, you were getting into a few weeks ago when you did Larry King, one of the only interviews you've done since you got back from Mexico, and they had this congressman on calling for the censorship of this Oliver Stone movie about Well, everybody should see it because Oliver shows clearly what the truth is and then shows how our mainstream media completely lie to us.
01:07:15.000 with the film or hate the film, you shouldn't call for censoring it, but you've seen the film.
01:07:20.000 Break down why you think it's viewing that everybody should see.
01:07:24.000 Well, everybody should see it because Oliver shows clearly how, what the truth is, and then shows how our mainstream media completely lie to us.
01:07:34.000 They tell us a completely different story about the truth of what's going on.
01:07:39.000 And the other thing that's huge is that the The South American people, all they want to do is control their own destiny.
01:07:49.000 They don't want us meddling and attempting to, you know, do things down there that we've been doing for decades and decades.
01:07:58.000 Like one of the leaders says, I'll be happy to have a United States military base in my country if they'll give me one by Miami.
01:08:08.000 Now isn't that fair?
01:08:10.000 How is it that we can put military bases in all these foreign countries, yet they can't put any here?
01:08:18.000 Well, on top of that, we've got... I mean, it's just things like that.
01:08:22.000 And the other thing is, Alex, is they're now banning together six or eight of the countries down there, and they're not going to do business necessarily on foreign policy with the U.S.
01:08:33.000 unless Cuba's included.
01:08:37.000 And I think that's a wonderful idea.
01:08:42.000 Well, the quickest way to bring more freedom to Cuba would be to end the embargo.
01:08:47.000 Absolutely.
01:08:48.000 The embargo is a miserable failure.
01:08:50.000 It doesn't hurt Castro or his brother a bit.
01:08:53.000 The only thing it harms is the Cuban people.
01:08:56.000 That's the only thing.
01:08:57.000 Let's talk about that.
01:08:59.000 You have met Fidel Castro and then you actually got followed by the CIA.
01:09:04.000 Tell folks what happened when you were in Cuba when you were governor and the aftermath of that.
01:09:08.000 Well, it was just, you know, I'm probably the only elected official who actually sat down with Fidel Castro, and I had an hour with him, and it was when he was in better health.
01:09:18.000 You know, this was back in 2002.
01:09:20.000 You know, since then I've heard, you know, it's only when I've heard that he's had health problems, but at the time I met him, he was sharp as a whip.
01:09:29.000 I mean, you couldn't get a thing by him.
01:09:31.000 In fact, when I was sitting with him, I only had an hour.
01:09:34.000 I wore a watch, and I happened to just glance down at my watch to see that I had 20 minutes left.
01:09:40.000 Castro was so perceptive immediately, and I just glanced.
01:09:44.000 And when I looked up, he said, I'm sorry, am I keeping you from something?
01:09:48.000 And I, of course, was honest.
01:09:50.000 I said, no, sir.
01:09:51.000 I said, but I know I only have an hour with you.
01:09:53.000 And I glanced at my watch and I see that I only have 20 minutes left.
01:09:57.000 And I'd like to ask you some personal questions if I could.
01:10:01.000 And he said to me, ask me anything you want.
01:10:03.000 And so then I went in and asked him about the murder of John F. Kennedy because it was something that I had studied for the better part of my adult life.
01:10:12.000 And here I had a chance to talk to someone who was right in the middle of it.
01:10:17.000 And who in some scenarios, he was attempted to be blamed for it.
01:10:22.000 And so I wanted to get his perception of what happened back then.
01:10:26.000 And, you know, if you're open-minded like me, I realize that to every story, there's going to be three or four sides to that story.
01:10:35.000 And to fully understand the story, you need to talk to three or four sides.
01:10:40.000 And that's the problem, again, getting back to our country today, Alex.
01:10:44.000 We're not getting three or four sides.
01:10:46.000 We're getting one.
01:10:48.000 Well, as you've said, we have the two parties that are really almost identical twins, and they give us basically different flavors of poison Kool-Aid, but at the end of the day, there's really no difference.
01:11:01.000 No, there's none whatsoever.
01:11:02.000 It's all the stuff that's coming out, you know, and then we'll transition now, you know, let's go to the show.
01:11:10.000 We've been out shooting some episodes, and last week I spent a whole two to three days Basically under surveillance by Homeland Security and tailed by the Coast Guard and all other sorts of stuff.
01:11:25.000 And we weren't doing anything illegal at all.
01:11:29.000 We were merely going somewhere to film something.
01:11:35.000 Well, they've got to know that Governor Jesse Ventura isn't going to stage a terror attack.
01:11:39.000 Well, I would think they wouldn't.
01:11:41.000 I think that my record speaks for itself, that I love my country, but that I'm a firm believer, Alex, that before you go out and chastise someone like Hugo Chavez, that you should make sure that your own backyard is clean and tidy and up to snuff.
01:11:58.000 I can't tell you that about the United States of America today.
01:12:02.000 We have a lot of problems in our own backyard that we ought to take care of instead of meddling in everyone else's business.
01:12:08.000 Well, we just wanted to film a certain location in the country.
01:12:12.000 We were in the water.
01:12:13.000 you were trying to get a look at? - Well, we just wanted to film a certain location in the country.
01:12:20.000 We were in the water, we were in international water, and we just wanted to photograph what was there.
01:12:32.000 And we were tailed by the Coast Guard and put under surveillance by Homeland Security.
01:12:41.000 And before we could even go out, we had a whole harbor of boats that wouldn't take us because of fear of Homeland Security.
01:12:56.000 And now... Alex, isn't Homeland Security there supposed to be protecting us?
01:13:01.000 Yes, they are.
01:13:02.000 Then why are they striking fear into United States citizens, red, white, and blue people through and through, like me and you, and like a lot of these fishermen?
01:13:16.000 Why are they spreading that type of fear to them?
01:13:19.000 Well, it's come out in Homeland Security documents that they wear the black uniforms to intimidate... Well, I don't know about all that, but you know what?
01:13:26.000 I'm starting to call them the Gestapo.
01:13:31.000 And that's some pretty strong words, Alex.
01:13:33.000 It is.
01:13:34.000 Elaborate on that, Governor.
01:13:35.000 Well, to me, they seem to be some sort of security force that's getting control of everything in our country now, and they supersede anything else because they're federal.
01:13:48.000 Much the same as the federales in Mexico.
01:13:51.000 Well, they've also been caught breaking the law, spying without warrants, on American citizens, even in non-terror-related cases.
01:13:59.000 And they don't want you showing the public what you were showing, because there's 36 of those they're building around the country, and it's not defensive.
01:14:09.000 But I better be quiet at that.
01:14:11.000 No, no, and this... No, and you're... What you're talking about is not what I'm talking about.
01:14:17.000 Oh, I know you guys were working on that other thing.
01:14:19.000 We're working on all sorts of different stuff right now.
01:14:22.000 We've got 8 to 10 episodes to do and I'm already working on 3 to 4 right now as we speak.
01:14:28.000 Some days I'm doing this episode, other days I'm doing that one.
01:14:32.000 But no, it's a good... Then I also found it very interesting.
01:14:37.000 I went to a place where Alex for the mere infraction of trespassing, it's become a capital offense.
01:14:48.000 Really?
01:14:48.000 They can shoot and kill you.
01:14:53.000 For trespassing.
01:14:55.000 And that's a place out in the desert.
01:14:57.000 Well, there's no fences or anything.
01:15:02.000 And if you make the mistake and cross this line out there, they can kill you without a trial or anything.
01:15:13.000 Governor, your phone was just breaking up.
01:15:15.000 I hate to add to the conspiracy atmosphere, but repeat what you just said, because your phone was breaking up.
01:15:21.000 I'm sorry.
01:15:22.000 Well, the place that we were at has no fences or anything.
01:15:27.000 It's marked.
01:15:28.000 But there's nothing to stop anyone from going through.
01:15:33.000 And lethal force is authorized.
01:15:36.000 Now imagine if you're out in the desert and you're not paying attention and you're riding a dirt bike or something, and you pass by this particular boundary that's not very well marked, and they have the right to shoot you and kill you.
01:15:50.000 This is Alex Jones with five good reasons you should consider buying a solar-powered generator.
01:16:06.000 Number 1.
01:16:07.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.
01:16:10.000 Number 2.
01:16:11.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.
01:16:16.000 It's true.
01:16:17.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.
01:16:22.000 Number 3.
01:16:23.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.
01:16:26.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.
01:16:30.000 Number 4.
01:16:31.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.
01:16:34.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.
01:16:37.000 Number 5.
01:16:38.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.
01:16:42.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

01:20:08.000 Well, Governor Jesse Ventura is our guest. Governor Jesse Ventura is our guest.
01:20:27.000 He's the best-selling author of American Conspiracy.
01:20:30.000 It's available at Infowars.com along with his last bestseller at Infowars.com in the online video bookstore.
01:20:36.000 This is a short segment, long segment coming up with Governor Jesse Ventura.
01:20:39.000 I've got a bunch of Twitter questions I'm gonna get to as well for the governor.
01:20:45.000 But continuing, a lot of other things have happened with the TV show, but we'll just leave it at that because you're still working on a lot of these stories and don't want to alert the establishment to what you're doing.
01:20:58.000 But before we get into Afghanistan, going back to you saying it appears Homeland Security's Gestapo, I mean, you are intensifying your view of these people.
01:21:09.000 Why?
01:21:10.000 Well, because I find them, uh, in my dealings with them to be very uncooperative.
01:21:16.000 They seem to use a lot of scare tactics.
01:21:20.000 And, you know, excuse me, we're United States citizens.
01:21:24.000 Our police and our whatever should not be out there and using those types of behavior.
01:21:32.000 The bottom line is this, Alex.
01:21:35.000 A few months ago, I signed a check for well into six figures to the United States government.
01:21:41.000 Right?
01:21:42.000 Yes.
01:21:42.000 You know what I'm talking about?
01:21:44.000 I paid my freaking taxes.
01:21:46.000 Well, I'm sure it's the same in Austin, Texas as it is in South Minneapolis.
01:21:52.000 And that's this.
01:21:54.000 When you're paying the money, doesn't that make you the boss?
01:21:59.000 That's our republic, that's our form of government.
01:22:01.000 No, I mean in life.
01:22:02.000 Yes.
01:22:03.000 If you're paying the money, that makes you the boss.
01:22:05.000 The customer's always right.
01:22:07.000 Well, I'm paying the money, and these people treat me like I'm some sort of criminal.
01:22:13.000 I had one of them quote say to me, you're not the governor anymore, with his back turned to me.
01:22:20.000 Wow.
01:22:21.000 Now, I found that completely disrespectful.
01:22:26.000 And I found it outrageous that these people, that I pay their salaries with my taxes, and they can speak and treat to me in that manner?
01:22:38.000 Oh, well it's come out that Homeland Security is surveilling members of Congress.
01:22:42.000 Same thing in England.
01:22:43.000 They're using MI6 and MI5 to spy on members of Parliament.
01:22:47.000 When a member of Parliament released the info, they SWAT teamed his house in a, quote, search for intimidation.
01:22:53.000 So the bureaucracy has just run wild.
01:22:55.000 Well, you know, I can't answer any of that, Alex, because I'm ignorant to it.
01:22:59.000 All I can... You know, I live in Mexico half the year, but all I can say is that's the results that I've gotten since I've been back in the U.S.
01:23:07.000 And it makes me want to go back to Mexico, because even the federales aren't that bad.
01:23:13.000 Well, this is amazing.
01:23:15.000 I sure wish you could tell people more, but they'll see it on the television transmission.
01:23:20.000 When is that coming up?
01:23:21.000 In the fall again?
01:23:22.000 Yeah, it should be.
01:23:24.000 Just don't put it in stone, but look for it around October.
01:23:30.000 You know, just around, I think around October, hopefully.
01:23:33.000 That's what I'm hoping for, anyway.
01:23:35.000 There's nothing, you know, I don't know definitive time or anything at this point in time, but I would say mid-to-the-fall that we'll be far enough along to where we can start another airing, another eight to ten episodes.
01:23:47.000 And it's too early to let people in on what some of the episodes are about?
01:23:50.000 No, no, I'll never do that.
01:23:52.000 Sure.
01:23:52.000 If I do that, they're gonna have to... No, no, I understand.
01:23:56.000 ...learning what everyone else does.
01:23:58.000 Same here.
01:23:58.000 I know the shows and I've got my mouth completely zipped, but this season is going to be even more hardcore than the last.
01:24:05.000 I mean, I think that's fair to say.
01:24:07.000 Well, it might be.
01:24:08.000 It's certainly starting off with a lot more resistance than the first season did.
01:24:14.000 And usually when you're getting more resistance, that means it could be more exciting.
01:24:20.000 What's the old World War II?
01:24:22.000 Put it this way.
01:24:23.000 It's been more exciting for me so far.
01:24:27.000 But you're a fighter.
01:24:28.000 I mean, that makes you only want to push harder.
01:24:30.000 Well, you know, I believe in my country, and I believe that the citizens of the country are supposed to be number one.
01:24:38.000 And it seems that we're not anymore.
01:24:40.000 And so, in light of that fact, I'll always fight to try to make it that the citizens are number one, because that's what I believe our forefathers had in mind when they created the country.
01:24:53.000 We're going to go to break in a moment, and I do want to come back and get into Afghanistan and the BP oil spill.
01:24:59.000 Like I said, Alex, I now know why we're in Afghanistan.
01:25:03.000 It's called lithium.
01:25:06.000 That's what every computer, every cell phone, everything that our modern technology must have, it's as valuable as oil.
01:25:15.000 And they've determined Afghanistan is the best spot in the world that has it.
01:25:20.000 That makes things way more clear to me as to why.
01:25:24.000 The War on Terror is a side light.
01:25:26.000 That's the cannon fodder.
01:25:28.000 That's the red herring.
01:25:29.000 Well, I wanted to bring that up.
01:25:31.000 National polls now show that Obama is dipping below 40 points.
01:25:34.000 He's losing his Democrat support.
01:25:36.000 He's now expanded more wars than George Bush has, statistically, according to the Washington Post, as well.
01:25:43.000 I mean, this war situation just goes on and on and on.
01:25:46.000 What's your view on that?
01:25:47.000 Well, for me it's as simple as this, Alex.
01:25:50.000 It's time to end this nonsense.
01:25:52.000 We're the only country in the world that is occupying other countries and invading other countries.
01:25:59.000 We're the only one.
01:26:00.000 Nobody else out there's occupying anybody.
01:26:02.000 And my view is let's bring all- let's- let's not only bring the troops home, let's bring our- how many?
01:26:10.000 78 foreign bases or whatever ridiculous amount it is all throughout the world.
01:26:16.000 Let's come home!
01:26:20.000 That day should be over with.
01:26:22.000 That's my opinion.
01:26:24.000 People may not agree with me, but my opinion is enough of this.
01:26:28.000 Well, we wouldn't be bankrupt if we weren't trying to be an empire.
01:26:32.000 And the point I always try to point out is the American people pay for this empire, but we're not getting any of the goods that are being extracted.
01:26:40.000 And that would be immoral even if we were.
01:26:43.000 But this idea that we're going to get the money from the trillion dollars of lithium or Exactly.
01:26:47.000 Exactly.
01:26:47.000 And it's not new.
01:26:47.000 the oil.
01:26:48.000 No, we fit the bill for these multinational corporations that use our nation as their muscle.
01:26:53.000 Exactly.
01:26:55.000 Exactly.
01:26:56.000 And it's not new.
01:26:57.000 Go back and read about two-time Congressional Medal of Honor winner, General Smedley Butler.
01:27:05.000 He wrote a great book way back in the early part of the last century talking about in the end of his fabulous military career, he felt that they were nothing but the Strong arm for corporate America down in Central and South America.
01:27:19.000 Yeah.
01:27:20.000 That when they wouldn't cooperate, they sent Smedley and the Marine Corps in.
01:27:25.000 I got in trouble about a month and a half ago, or whatever, two months, maybe longer now, I don't know, time flies when you're having fun.
01:27:35.000 But I went on Fox News and stated unequivocally, I said, why does this country think that we're so shocked that we would get attacked by terrorists, if indeed we did, to the level we have?
01:27:48.000 And I said, when we've been practicing terrorism for 50 years, we just call it foreign policy.
01:27:54.000 Well now they have over 1,000 drones operated by the Pentagon and the CIA separately, where people 10,000 miles away, 25-year-olds, are piloting drones, and now the headline in the AP was, To now kill with drones unnamed terrorists and if they just see someone with a gun in Pakistan or Afghanistan, they drop a hellfire missile on them and they admit if we kill 150 people at a wedding to kill one bad guy, that's okay.
01:28:23.000 Since when is dropping a bomb on a wedding and killing a bunch of men, women, and children because they think one bad guy may be there, since when is that not terror?
01:28:31.000 Well, and not only that, but look what we've done to Cuba for 50 years.

01:29:59.000 This is Alex Jones with five good reasons you should consider buying a solar-powered generator.
01:30:04.000 Number one.
01:30:05.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.
01:30:09.000 Number two.
01:30:10.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.
01:30:14.000 It's true.
01:30:15.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.
01:30:20.000 Number three.
01:30:21.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.
01:30:24.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.
01:30:28.000 Number 4.
01:30:29.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.
01:30:32.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.
01:30:36.000 Number 5.
01:30:36.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.
01:30:41.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

01:31:04.000 Not detergents, but good old-fashioned pure soap made by the Cal Bend Soap Company, a family-owned and operated American company.
01:31:10.000 My family, staff, friends, and radio listeners are constantly telling me how much they love these products for bath, hair, laundry, and dishes.
01:31:18.000 There is nothing like these factory-direct, big-money-saving, triple-concentrated soaps anywhere.

01:32:47.000 The police state isn't coming.
01:32:49.000 It's here.

01:32:57.000 Coast to coast, direct from Austin.
01:33:04.000 You're listening to the Alex Jones Broadcasting Network.
01:33:08.000 Network.
01:33:09.000 We have the ABC News headline, U.S. U.S.
01:33:28.000 government plan to terrorize the cities as pretext for war with Cuba.
01:33:32.000 They had a 9-11 style attack planned to be blamed on Cuba, but Kennedy said no.
01:33:37.000 Exactly.
01:33:39.000 And that was way back in 61 called Operation Northwoods.
01:33:43.000 And the point of the matter is, and why do you think Che Guevara grew to hate us so much?
01:33:49.000 He was a guy who was a medical doctor, someone that took the oath of healing, and he ended up a revolutionary that murdered people and all of that, but the big question to ask is why did he feel that way?
01:34:01.000 Well, he felt that way when he took the motorcycle ride.
01:34:05.000 In South America.
01:34:06.000 And he saw indigenous people that had lived on the land for two to three hundred years being forced off the land by United Fruit and U.S.
01:34:14.000 corporations.
01:34:16.000 That's how, why we're hated so much throughout the world, is because we inflict ourselves upon.
01:34:22.000 And another thing to where we inflict is in the so-called War on Drugs.
01:34:27.000 That's just an excuse to give us a military presence in all these other countries.
01:34:32.000 Well, I mean, the Pentagon knows, our own government knows, that if they decriminalize drugs, almost all the crime will disappear like a vapor.
01:34:40.000 And that Mexico is collapsing because of the drug war down there, the cartels battling each other.
01:34:45.000 And you've got the cartels that are allied with the government, who pay the government off, waging war on the other cartels that aren't laundering.
01:34:52.000 Uh, their money through U.S.
01:34:53.000 banks.
01:34:53.000 That's what the whole war is really about.
01:34:55.000 And now, Governor, I know you've been out of the country and on the TV show, Fox News interviewed a Marine Corps colonel who admitted, yes, we grow the opium over there.
01:35:03.000 We have to, or the Taliban will get the market.
01:35:05.000 You know, that's the excuse in the 1980s of shipping the crack cocaine in, was, well, if we don't ship it in, somebody else will.
01:35:12.000 I mean, this is incredible.
01:35:13.000 So they're now admitting, even in Reuters and AP, that our government is producing the opium in Afghanistan.
01:35:19.000 Well, it doesn't surprise me, because by everything that I've read, when the Taliban took over, they put them out of business.
01:35:26.000 They took these guys and started tossing them in jail and stuff, and literally shut down the opium business.
01:35:34.000 And what's interesting is, it coincides perfect with the collapse of the banks.
01:35:39.000 And now the opium business is back up full throttle again and the banks are back doing good business, aren't they?
01:35:46.000 500 plus billion a year out of Afghanistan alone laundered leverage.
01:35:50.000 You can leverage it 10 times through the fractional reserve banking.
01:35:52.000 Good point, Governor Ventura.
01:35:54.000 Governor Jesse Ventura joins us.
01:35:56.000 His new book is several months on the New York Times bestseller list as high as number four.
01:36:00.000 Jesse Ventura, American Conspiracies.
01:36:03.000 It's also available at InfoWars.com.
01:36:06.000 I think the good news here, though, is your show number one for a new show on TruTV, your book a bestseller.
01:36:11.000 Judge Andrew Napolitano is the best guy on Fox, anti-corruption.
01:36:15.000 His new show premiered on Fox Business, highest ratings ever on that network.
01:36:21.000 Anybody who tells it like it is is successful, and I think that's a mirror of the state of the country.
01:36:27.000 There is an awakening happening.
01:36:29.000 Are you seeing that when you travel around America?
01:36:31.000 I'm starting to.
01:36:32.000 I'm starting to see the kindling starting again.
01:36:35.000 Some people have gotten in contact with me that have said that the Tea Party has been taken over by Sarah Palin and them, but there still is a core group of Tea Party people out there, the Ron Paul people.
01:36:52.000 And, uh, they're out there, and they're starting to grumble a little bit, and we're starting to see more, but I have to tell you something.
01:37:00.000 Uh, Alex, I no longer support the third party movement.
01:37:05.000 Why is that?
01:37:06.000 Well, I know you'll find that shocking, but here's why.
01:37:10.000 I believe so strongly that for any... that the two parties make the rules.
01:37:15.000 And for any third party to play in the game, they're gonna have to corrupt themselves.
01:37:20.000 Just like the Democrats and Republicans do.
01:37:23.000 Well, we already have a two-headed monster.
01:37:26.000 Why would we want a three-headed one?
01:37:28.000 Instead, this is my position now.
01:37:30.000 My position now is I want political parties banned.
01:37:37.000 Well, the founders had a big debate about that, because look at the parliamentary system in England.
01:37:41.000 You can have four or five parties, the same special interests, just buy them all off.
01:37:45.000 Well, the thing is this, we've already got two corrupt parties, why do we need a third?
01:37:50.000 And for me, it's mostly in the voting booth, Alex.
01:37:54.000 You can still have political parties, they can still endorse, but no one can officially be part of them.
01:38:01.000 We need to turn them into being nothing more than lobbyists, too.
01:38:05.000 Well, that's an interesting idea because... And that way, wait, let me finish.
01:38:08.000 And that way, when you're going to vote, all you see is the name John Smith.
01:38:12.000 It doesn't say John Smith Republican, John Smith Democrat.
01:38:17.000 See, people are given the scapegoat of being able to vote for the party rather than the person.
01:38:22.000 This forces you to go back voting for the person rather than the Wow, that's a really good idea because then you also don't have the mafia of the parties who, when new congressmen and women come in, they tell them you're not going to have any authority or power unless you play ball and then the vote is negated.
01:38:40.000 Exactly.
01:38:41.000 Turn the parties into nothing more than lobbyists.
01:38:44.000 You have to run on your name.
01:38:46.000 No party can be listed on a ballot.
01:38:49.000 It also then makes it incumbent for you, the voter, to educate yourself, which is also good.
01:38:57.000 Well, the problem with third parties is they can never build up the muscle of the other parties that are over 200 years old.
01:39:02.000 And that's because they have to corrupt themselves, Alex.
01:39:06.000 When the two parties make the rules to the game and control it as completely as they do, the only way a third party can survive is by falling to the same corruption.
01:39:17.000 And then you've got a three-headed monster instead of a two-headed one.
01:39:19.000 instead of a two-headed one. - Well, you've always said vote out incumbents and don't vote for Democrats or Republicans, but the good news is every incumbent is being voted out in the off-year elections.
01:39:30.000 Every pro-establishment candidate, be they Republican or Democrat, whether it's-- - That's a hell of a start. - I mean, well, this isn't just one party's in favor, another party's out of favor.
01:39:40.000 This is a real political realignment, and the media ran a hoax a year and a half ago.
01:39:44.000 They ignored Republicans being booed at town halls.
01:39:48.000 They only focused on Democrats being booed, and they lied and said the Tea Parties were Republican.
01:39:53.000 That then became a self-fulfilling prophecy where Democrats then wouldn't be involved with them.
01:39:59.000 And so that was MSNBC, and Fox literally engaged in a staged tag team.
01:40:04.000 But going back to MSNBC, I had them demonize me a few weeks ago.
01:40:09.000 They came down here, Chris Matthews interviewed me for about two hours, and they used about three minutes of me, took it all out of context, edited it, and basically said that I'm calling for violence, which I've never done in any way, and that's the new talking point, and I've just found that MSNBC is the most deceptive and nasty group
01:40:34.000 Well, I have a bit of a biased opinion, I guess, because, like I said, they hired me for a three-year contract.
01:40:47.000 And then when they learned I was opposed to the invade, because remember, when they hired me, they were not leftists.
01:40:53.000 Keith Olbermann was not a liberal then.
01:40:56.000 They were Fox Light.
01:40:57.000 They were attempting to compete with Fox, and we laughingly called them Fox Light.
01:41:03.000 And when they found out that I, and they had just hired Phil Donahue, and Phil was their number one rated show, when they found out that Phil and I both opposed the invasion and the war in Iraq before it happened, Phil was removed, the number one show, and I wasn't allowed on.
01:41:21.000 And that shows what political whores they are.
01:41:23.000 Keith Olbermann will read whatever he's told off that teleprompter.
01:41:26.000 They all will.
01:41:28.000 Hannity will.
01:41:30.000 You know, I just glanced at a book on Glenn Beck.
01:41:34.000 You know what his claim to fame is?
01:41:37.000 Completely?
01:41:37.000 He's a top 40 disc jockey.
01:41:42.000 Now why should he carry any credibility whatsoever?
01:41:45.000 He's never been an elected official.
01:41:47.000 He's never worked in government.
01:41:49.000 He never served his country in the military.
01:41:52.000 He hasn't done anything but be a top 40 disc jockey who found his niche in what he's doing and he's becoming exceptionally wealthy over it.
01:42:01.000 Well, my issue with Beck is he's flip-flopped so much, and he just came out of nowhere in 2002.
01:42:09.000 And for those of us that have been doing this for decades, it's frustrating to see him turn the entire Awakening movement into some type of corporate, Republican, Foxoid animal, so it can be discredited, and so the movement against tyranny can be basically co-opted.
01:42:26.000 That's my problem with Glenn Beck.
01:42:27.000 I mean, I sent him Where the FEMA camps are, the civilian inmate labor camp program, the Houston Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal, about the FEMA camps.
01:42:36.000 I mean, it's actually hidden in plain view.
01:42:39.000 And on his show, he just came out and debunked straw men.
01:42:44.000 And he's done that.
01:42:45.000 He said Ron Paul supporters may be violent terrorists.
01:42:49.000 And then now he says he loves Ron Paul.
01:42:51.000 So he's always followed that government talking point.
01:42:54.000 And so I know he's not for real.

01:45:59.000 This is Alex Jones with five good reasons you should consider buying a solar powered Number 1.
01:46:05.000 New climate legislation could easily double or triple your electric bill.
01:46:08.000 Number 2.
01:46:09.000 Our new energy czar wants to control how much power your electric company allows you to have.
01:46:14.000 It's true.
01:46:15.000 Total government control of electricity in the name of smart grid technology is coming.
01:46:19.000 Number 3.
01:46:20.000 In some areas of the country, the power grid is dangerously overloaded.
01:46:24.000 And now, new socialist legislation is only compounding the problem.
01:46:28.000 Number 4.
01:46:29.000 Dangerous weather is always a threat to local grids.
01:46:31.000 Every year, thousands of families lose their power from weather-related outages.
01:46:35.000 Number 5.
01:46:36.000 A solar power generator provides powerful backup, insurance, and peace of mind.
01:46:40.000 Folks, I really believe in the solar power generators offered by Solutions from Science, one of my oldest sponsors.

01:46:56.000 Coast to Coast.
01:47:03.000 Direct from Austin.
01:47:05.000 You're listening to the Alex Jones Broadcasting Network.
01:47:08.000 I don't have to even agree with somebody 90% to lie.
01:47:30.000 I mean, I disagree with some of your views, but I know you're for real.
01:47:34.000 I know you can be counted on.
01:47:35.000 I know you really stand for something and are a good guy, you know, at your bottom.
01:47:39.000 But with Beck, he is a, uh... You know, they're all that way.
01:47:45.000 You know, every one of them, they... You know, I learned that when I was doing my show.
01:47:50.000 One of the big fights I had with MSNBC on a daily basis, They would send you what topics you could talk about.
01:47:57.000 And for me, at that time it was Kobe Bryant and Lacey Peterson.
01:48:06.000 Now, those are good human interest stories if you're into National Enquirer stuff.
01:48:11.000 I'm not into that.
01:48:13.000 I'm into news that affects us on a general basis, everyone in the country, in some way, shape, or form.
01:48:19.000 And those types of stories don't.
01:48:21.000 And so I would fight with them every day from on high saying, I'm not doing Lacey Peterson, I'm not doing Kobe Bryant.
01:48:30.000 Well, I don't care to have an opinion on either.
01:48:33.000 Yes, the Peterson thing was a tragic murder, but there were 10,000 other murders that took place.
01:48:39.000 Well, what it is, Governor, is a feedback loop, as you know.
01:48:43.000 They set the agenda with fluff and crap, because if they ever gave us real issues, and then it would become a self-fulfilling process, where the people would want to know about real issues, instead of being distracted with, you know, what happened with a murder in the Caribbean, or what's going on with a congressman and his pages, people would be talking about real issues.
01:49:05.000 But now that the alternative media has gotten so powerful...
01:49:08.000 Hey, you want to hear what one of the big stories up here in Minnesota is lately?
01:49:14.000 What?
01:49:14.000 There's a state legislator who came out a number of years ago, that he was gay, right?
01:49:23.000 Which is fine and dandy.
01:49:25.000 I have no problem electing gay people to office.
01:49:28.000 If they can do the job, who cares?
01:49:30.000 Well, the big thing up here now is he was seen going out to dinner with supposedly some porno star.
01:49:40.000 Well, how does that affect any way he governs?
01:49:43.000 There's nothing to do.
01:49:44.000 It's just private life.
01:49:45.000 Well, they feed us with this propaganda.
01:49:46.000 And so the question I have for you, and we're skipping the break here.
01:49:50.000 This is a network break, so stay with us, everyone.
01:49:52.000 Here's Politico.
01:49:54.000 Lieberman, Bill would strip citizenship, secretly arrest you, put you in a dungeon.
01:49:59.000 It's moving to the Senate right now.
01:50:01.000 New bill gives Obama kill switch to shut down the Internet.
01:50:05.000 And the FCC announces new regulations.
01:50:08.000 They're proposing a box in your house.
01:50:10.000 They're already putting this in Australia software.
01:50:13.000 That blocks what you're allowed to look at and surveils what you're doing.
01:50:18.000 And so what's happening is they know the alternative media is kicking the hind end of the corporate media that wants to force all of this fluff on us.
01:50:29.000 And so they are now moving as a perfect storm, corporate media and government, to try to block the alternative media, Governor.
01:50:37.000 You know, if people aren't outraged over that, if that doesn't cause a revolution, what should?
01:50:43.000 I mean, that's absurd.
01:50:45.000 And I can't believe Joe Lieberman's Jewish, isn't he?
01:50:48.000 Yes.
01:50:49.000 Of all people.
01:50:52.000 Why would he support something like that?
01:50:58.000 It's insane.
01:50:59.000 It sounds like something right out of Stalinist Russia or Nazi Germany.
01:51:02.000 It sounds right out of Nazi Germany to me.
01:51:05.000 Exactly.
01:51:07.000 And that's what just baffles me.
01:51:10.000 Him of all people?
01:51:12.000 Would be the signer and the carrier of this bill that would give government control over literally and make it define who is considered good, who is considered bad?
01:51:24.000 The bill actually says for any intelligence person, for any intelligence reason, it's the Violent Belligerence Act, that a designate of the attorney general or the president or the Pentagon, that they can literally snatch and grab you and use enhanced interrogation and that you can never be released, that they can literally snatch and grab you and use enhanced interrogation and that you can never be released, never given a trial, and only an act And this is going to be inside the United States of America.
01:51:51.000 This is racing through the Senate right now.
01:51:56.000 John McCain's the co-sponsor, and they have a bill that mirrors the bureaucracy of the FCC and Federal Trade Commission.
01:52:03.000 They have a bill that puts in the black boxes and has cybersecurity take over the Internet.
01:52:07.000 They're already building the NSA hubs.
01:52:08.000 They've got one down at San Antonio.
01:52:10.000 When reporters try to go take photos of the huge facility, police come out and arrest them.
01:52:15.000 That's in the news.
01:52:16.000 I mean, Governor, you're right when you say Gestapo.
01:52:19.000 This is a total takeover right now of our society.
01:52:22.000 Well, you know, what can you say?
01:52:27.000 If we allow them to do that, then I guess we deserve what we allow them to do.
01:52:32.000 Well, you know, what can you say?
01:52:33.000 fighting hard i mean you could have just retired and ridden off to the sunset i know that's what you want to do and but i mean here you are fighting the tyranny and now you're being surveilled and followed around by homeland security well you know what can you say it's nice to be popular well we've only got about five six minutes left governor i'm sure you're I just can't thank you enough for giving us this exclusive interview outside of, you know, any other interviews you're doing this week.
01:52:58.000 I'm doing none, Alex.
01:52:59.000 In fact, I'm playing a lot of golf right now on every day that I'm not working because I'm treating this whole summer as a full work summer.
01:53:07.000 So on days that I'm not working, I'm doing what I'm relaxing.
01:53:12.000 to the max no different than when somebody works Monday through Friday well on the weekend they relax and so when I'm home now I relax because I'm now out on the road again and you know I'm not getting any younger doing all this stuff absolutely We appreciate the exclusive interview and your time.
01:53:32.000 Getting into some other subjects here, the Gulf oil spill.
01:53:36.000 Obama and his controllers really have blocked the states and others from creating... To me, it's unconscionable.
01:53:45.000 How could an oil company not have a plan in place for a leak?
01:53:51.000 That's the bottom line to me, Alex.
01:53:54.000 They drill all these wells under the surface of the ocean all over the world, and they don't have a clue how to cap one off if something goes wrong?
01:54:06.000 Well, looks like Obama may get his carbon tax because of this, though.
01:54:09.000 I mean, what does putting a bunch of taxes on us have to do with fixing the oil well?
01:54:13.000 It doesn't.
01:54:14.000 But the point is, how on earth can they... I'm just... I'm speechless.
01:54:21.000 How could they not have some type of emergency standard operating procedure that is not in place if one of these things goes haywire?
01:54:32.000 I agree with you.
01:54:33.000 That's where the bottom line ends for me, and yet now they want to build more of them, and they still don't know how to cap them off?
01:54:41.000 Shouldn't they learn how to cap them off if something goes wrong before we continue to drill more of them?
01:54:47.000 Well, they knew how, and they ordered Halliburton and Anadarka, who were running the rig, to not follow those procedures.
01:54:54.000 Who did?
01:54:55.000 Uh, BP did.
01:54:56.000 That's actually, I've called for criminal investigations.
01:54:58.000 Well, that's outrageous.
01:55:00.000 You know, uh, like I said, before any new drill is, any new drilling is done, they better have a rock solid procedure that works to stop it if something goes wrong.
01:55:14.000 Well, yes, sir, Governor.
01:55:15.000 They did.
01:55:15.000 And I've got the Coast Guard hearings they had three weeks ago.
01:55:18.000 It's gotten very little news.
01:55:19.000 Atlantic Monthly and others have covered it.
01:55:21.000 And in those minutes, they talked to the ship engineers, the drilling rig engineers, and they said that the well was leaking two months before, not two weeks before, and that the whole thing happened because BP told them to do cost-saving measures, that in their words, I told them, and this is witnesses, that I told them it would effing explode and catch on fire.
01:55:43.000 Well, then there's people that ought to go to jail, man.
01:55:46.000 It's as cut and dry and simple as that.
01:55:49.000 The people who did that should go to jail.
01:55:51.000 That's all I got to say.
01:55:52.000 That's all I got to say about that.
01:55:59.000 We've only got about 2-3 minutes left with you, Governor.
01:56:01.000 In closing, the Iran situation, they're putting more sanctions on them, they're talking about boarding Iranian ships, engage in regular commerce.
01:56:09.000 Israel's got nuke subs off their coast.
01:56:12.000 Iran has backed off trying to run through the Israeli blockade.
01:56:16.000 What's your view on what even the LA Times is saying today could shape up to be the start of World War III?
01:56:22.000 Well, I don't know if it'll shape up to World War III or not, but I think it's been on the radar screen for a long, long time.
01:56:30.000 Let me finish your show by telling your listeners this.
01:56:34.000 I have become a huge fan of Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty.
01:56:38.000 I'm reading, I've read all his books he's written.
01:56:41.000 I now have eight hours of CD that I've come in contact with.
01:56:45.000 And for those that don't know who Colonel Prouty was, he died in 2001, but he always said, nothing just happens.
01:56:54.000 Everything, everything is planned.
01:56:56.000 And the point being is Fletcher Prouty was the Mr. X character in Oliver Stone's great movie, JFK, the character played by Donald Sutherland.
01:57:06.000 That's who he was in real life.
01:57:08.000 And when you read Prouty's books, you will get a total new history lesson from World War II to today.
01:57:16.000 And you'll understand clearly that each and every one of these wars is pre-planned, that they're always planned for third world countries, and that there's never anything that the military can achieve in which to declare victory.
01:57:31.000 And that's exactly what we've had in every war since World War II.
01:57:35.000 And Skyhorse Publishing... It does not surprise me, Alex, that we're going into Iran.
01:57:40.000 I think it's been planned for for decades.
01:57:43.000 And Skyhorse Publishing has republished The Secret Team available at InfoWars.com.
