01:46:34.000 We have Florida, Arkansas, North Dakota, Montana passed medical marijuana bills and that brings it up to 28 states that now have medical marijuana.

01:46:47.000 The UN, and think about this, we've got it legal for medical use, okay, we've got it legal for recreational use in 8 states, well actually it was 2 before that, so now 10 states and 28 it's legal for medical use, and yet it is still listed by the feds as a class 1, schedule 1 drug which says it has absolutely no medical use.

01:47:09.000 And we've said in 28 states, no, it does have medical use.

01:47:13.000 And so you have this massive dissonance here between the people, between the states, and between the federal government.

02:05:18.000 I mean, it's crippling anxiety, but it's even more than that.

02:05:24.000 As a matter of fact, the American Psychological Association released some preliminary data.

02:05:30.000 Basically, what they're saying is that 55% of Democrats and 59% of Republicans say that the election is causing them stress.

02:05:42.000 I'm telling you, I actually try to reduce my stress as much as possible all the time, and I've even had election stress.

02:05:51.000 You can feel the tension that when you walk around, when you go places, when you go to the gym, anywhere you go, you can just feel this tension right now.

02:06:00.000 And it's not just in the United States.

02:06:02.000 It's all around the world.

02:06:03.000 I mean, I have people that I talk to in Brazil, Russia, everywhere, and they're all the eyes are on the United States right now.

02:06:10.000 And everybody's freaking out.

02:06:11.000 They're not getting enough sleep.

02:06:13.000 Their eating habits have changed.

02:06:15.000 You know, stress is not good for you.

02:06:17.000 There's eustress, which is good stress, and then there's distress, which is bad stress.

02:06:22.000 And that's what's happening right now.

02:06:24.000 I feel like I've been kind of on that resting stress level, which of course makes it so that if anything little happens, you're just, you're much more apt to snap.

02:06:33.000 So Stephen Stozny, this doctor, describes election stress disorder as a feeling like irritability and resentment, covering up anxiety and a sense of powerlessness.

02:06:44.000 It creates a tendency to blame, oversimplify and devalue other perspectives.

02:06:49.000 And I think anyone who has tried to have a conversation with anyone about the election has experienced this.

02:06:56.000 People devaluing your perspective, trying to oversimplify big problems, blaming people.

02:07:01.000 And of course, The irritability and the resentment.

02:07:03.000 I mean, look at the state our country is in and then this circus of an election we've had.

02:07:09.000 Plus, I feel as though there's a lot of kind of gaslighting going on in a huge sort of PSYOP campaign, which we can see now with the mainstream media totally colluding with the establishment party there and with the Democrats to get their establishment candidate in.

02:07:25.000 So you feel like you're banging your head against a wall because you're trying to talk about things that are facts and people just don't want to hear it.

02:07:33.000 It's cognitive dissonance.

02:07:35.000 I mean, is there any help or hope for someone like me or just- You're so right.

02:07:41.000 It's like people do not want, people that are so Hillary, so Democratic, they don't even want to hear anything.

02:07:48.000 I mean, I've tried to talk to people and say, look, watch this video, Clinton Chronicles, here's the information.

02:08:00.000 Even when we were seeing patients, I was telling Anthony earlier that one of the things we found is that people don't even know why they're sick.

02:08:14.000 I talked to people and I'm like, Okay, all the things we're trying to fight for, like a clean environment, clean water, clean air, healthy living, Monsanto, all the chemicals, everything that's causing disruption to the Earth, to everybody's bodies, to the environment.

02:08:33.000 If you go down the list, you're gonna see Hillary or the Clinton Foundation that's involved in every single one of those things, that are destroying the planet, that are destroying our lives every single day.

02:08:44.000 And then, this is why I get stressed out about it, is because then I look at the Trump candidacy and everything.

02:08:53.000 He hasn't been around to where he has a lot of views on those things.

02:08:57.000 I'll pull up all of the crimes and everything and give people this information, and they just say, no, I don't wanna hear it.

02:09:04.000 Or I'll email it to them, and they'll just send me an email back and say, Trump treats women bad, he's horrible, I don't wanna hear anything negative about Clinton.

02:09:13.000 I've already made up my mind, and that's the way I'm gonna vote.

02:09:16.000 Right.

02:09:16.000 That actually causes stress.

02:09:18.000 I mean, I actually was, I'm getting these emails going.

02:09:23.000 They don't even want to learn the truth?

02:09:26.000 It's like ignoring a huge sore that has erupted on your body and then just ignoring it until it becomes stage 4 cancer.

02:09:34.000 And then there's nothing you can do about it at that point.

02:09:36.000 We studied, when we were studying disease and all the root causes of disease, and yes, all the chemicals and all that stuff that affect your body.

02:09:43.000 But one of the things that wasn't studied a lot, and one of the things that we studied, was the effect of stress and negative emotions on your body.

02:09:52.000 And how we got into that is we would have, you know, cancer patients or people that were suffering from debilitating illness and disease, and they were getting better.

02:10:01.000 And then we had a small group of people that weren't getting better.

02:10:06.000 So we, uh, you know, when you like, let's say Lance Armstrong or somebody like that, where you would think lives a healthy lifestyle, he exercises every day.

02:10:15.000 How is he coming down with cancer when we're contributing, you know, poor diet and all these chemicals and toxins and everything else contributing to cancer?

02:10:23.000 We found a guy.

02:10:25.000 That was living in a small apartment, that was living on donuts, he was drinking a fifth of alcohol a day, been doing it for years and years and years, smoked a couple packs of cigarettes a day.

02:10:34.000 I'm talking the worst lifestyle you could live.

02:10:37.000 This guy, he was like 70 years old.

02:10:40.000 And he had nothing wrong with him.

02:10:42.000 That's what we were looking for.

02:10:43.000 Let's find somebody that's doing everything wrong.

02:10:47.000 And he was doing everything wrong.

02:10:49.000 And we couldn't figure out why he hadn't died yet.

02:10:52.000 So we started, we interviewed him and we talked to him.

02:10:55.000 And it turns out that he attributed his life.

02:10:59.000 He was so happy.

02:11:00.000 He watched funny stuff on TV all day long.

02:11:03.000 So basically, even though he was sitting there drinking a fifth of alcohol every day and smoking a couple packs of cigarettes every day, he was happy.

02:11:14.000 He had no stress in his life.

02:11:16.000 And then the more we looked into it, we realized how damaging stress is on the body.

02:11:21.000 And stress can override everything, or happiness can override everything.

02:11:26.000 And people that are holding on to all these negative emotions, and anger, and fear, and anxiety...

02:11:34.000 They need to learn how to let all these things go because it's damaging your whole body.

02:11:38.000 Right.

02:11:39.000 And our bodies are so incredible, amazing.

02:11:41.000 We really truly can heal ourselves, but we stay in this sort of resting state of stress.

02:11:46.000 So our bodies are never able to repair themselves because we can't sleep and we're disrupting our sleep patterns with our phones and then getting super stressed right before bed.

02:11:55.000 You know, I know we kind of make fun of people that kind of...

02:11:58.000 Knock everything out by watching those cat videos, but maybe you need to be watching more cat videos because it makes you very happy And laughing is of course does wonders for your health, but let me ask you kind of more of like a metaphysical From a metaphysical perspective.

02:12:13.000 I know I've watched movies before where they talk about Fear-based thinking and how if you're in locked into a state of fear it makes your thinking In a way that your thoughts don't really, you're easier to control, you're closed up, you're clenched up.

02:12:28.000 And so that's why we see right before the election, anonymous sources and the intelligence officials are saying Al Qaeda might do a terrorist attack or ISIS is planning on attacking people at the polls.

02:12:40.000 No, they're not!

02:12:41.000 Are you kidding me?

02:12:41.000 Why would you even put that out there?

02:12:43.000 It's unfounded.

02:12:44.000 But for some reason, it's like there's this fear propaganda that gets pumped out.

02:12:49.000 So talk a little bit about that, of maybe this fear-based thinking.

02:12:53.000 Yeah, I call it like fear addiction in a way because over a period of time, some people become addicted to that and they can't put their phone down and they can't stop looking at the news and thinking that something bad is going to happen.

02:13:09.000 So eventually over time, They're just wondering what the next step is.

02:13:14.000 And that's kind of where we've come as far as, I'm not saying that nothing's going to happen.

02:13:19.000 I mean, right now in this world, anything's possible.

02:13:22.000 Biological attack, Obama just signed an executive order.

02:13:25.000 We have EMP threat attack.

02:13:28.000 We have currency devaluation and economic disaster that's looming.

02:13:35.000 Most of that, there's a good chance that maybe some of that does happen.

02:13:39.000 But to be in, you know, watching the alternative news and to be looking and to be focusing on that and making it a priority in your life, that's something I would say that you need to stop doing right away because you need to start taking care of your own self and taking care of your own life.

02:13:57.000 As a matter of fact, this is kind of hilarious, the American Psychological Association came out with ways to cope with election stress disorder.

02:14:04.000 One of them is limit media consumption.

02:14:08.000 Stop having conflicting discussions about the election.

02:14:14.000 Know that whatever happens, life will go on.

02:14:16.000 And the last one is, be sure to vote.

02:14:22.000 So now I recommend that people just take a step back.

02:14:25.000 I mean, I know, look, at least a couple hours before you go to bed at night, because stress affects how you sleep at night, and you need to sleep eight hours at night.

02:14:34.000 Just sit down quietly, turn the TV off, drink some pure water, eat some clean food.

02:14:40.000 A lot of people deal with stress the wrong ways.

02:14:43.000 They take medications, they overeat, they grab a thing of ice cream, they eat chocolate, it makes them feel good.

02:14:49.000 Listen, this is not over.

02:14:52.000 After the election tomorrow, this is just beginning, okay?

02:14:55.000 Whether it's Trump or whether it's Hillary, hopefully it's Trump, but it doesn't matter.

02:15:09.000 And just do some deep breathing for a few minutes and relieve your stresses and try to limit the amount of media that you read and try to take care of yourself and eat healthy.

02:27:59.000 I was reading one of our friends, Jack Posobiec, he had tweeted out this anecdotal reference to Trump and somebody had reported he stayed in a Holiday Inn, got up, ironed his own shirt and shined his own shoes.

02:28:13.000 So we're talking about a man that literally got up, shined his own shoes and kept going while our president is lecturing him about how hard it is, the job that he has.

02:53:26.000 Cases of epilepsy where, I was reading this case from a mom who was treating her 12-year-old son who had epilepsy with cannabis oil and the state came in.

02:53:39.000 They were medicating him and the only thing that she said really worked for him and my heart, it just goes out to people like this because the law is designed to protect you and not destroy your family.

02:53:50.000 And they don't have the right to hold back something from humanity that is good for us, that is a plant that in so many ways is so valuable to our species.

02:54:02.000 And they try all they can to control it and it doesn't get you high.

02:54:07.000 It's not a drug in the different ways, but they won't even allow people to treat their children, medically experiment with it to figure out, you know, how does it work in different ways.

02:54:17.000 So yeah, we're definitely seeing a shift here and I do believe we have reached critical mass and that's why I say, you know, don't gloat for too long with these people who think that the apocalypse is upon us.

02:54:28.000 Like, educate them, have compassion for them and show them truly that, you know what, let's give Trump a chance and let him be the president for all Americans like he says he's gonna be.

02:54:38.000 Let's give him a chance and let's truly have some unity.

02:54:46.000 So maybe if we give people a chance and maybe not exclude them so much, allow people to come to the table and focus on unity.

02:55:10.000 She kept pounding in the diversity issue and how important it is to recognize diversity and help protect, you know, that that was very divisive of her.

02:56:25.000 But we were practically at least like, what, a half a Well, I have a way from being in God's judgmental path, and people are still crying about the fact that basically Hillary Clinton didn't get in.

02:56:43.000 I mean, it's kind of the sweetest fact that basically just got a pile lost.

02:56:49.000 It's kind of really sad, but God needs to put him somewhere in this cabinet, maybe like Border Patrol or something.

02:56:58.000 You know, he really wasn't trying to keep our country safe.

02:57:05.000 And that's, you know, that was one of the things that they really took out of context there when, you know, we all know Trump isn't the best with words.

02:57:16.000 He doesn't have an army of staff, you know, deciding what he's allowed to say.

02:57:20.000 And he was there visiting the border, speaking with the Border Patrol, and he was enraged with what he saw with hundreds of thousands of people coming across the border illegally.

02:57:31.000 Many people dying, children ending up dead or being taken advantage of by sex traffickers, human traffickers, bringing over diseases, all sorts of crazy drugs, and then saying that these are children up to 30 years of age who have like gang tattoos.

02:57:47.000 And he was outraged and he was like, look, this is crazy.

02:57:50.000 And that was where he really kind of flipped the switch in the country.

02:57:53.000 It was like, what?

02:57:55.000 Build a wall?

02:57:56.000 How high?

02:57:57.000 So yeah, I think that's, I think that's absolutely, he's already working with the Border Patrol there.

02:58:04.000 Well, let's go ahead, we'll hold these callers over until the next hour, but I know one of the things that we like to talk about here at InfoWars, of course, we're, you know, with this marijuana, cannabis reform and everything that's just happened in this last election, The health!

02:58:39.000 And when I sat down with Dr. Group, there were so many things we could talk about.

02:58:42.000 I really wanted to focus on addiction because we're in a country where 24 million people Struggle with alcohol and prescription drug addiction and it's a serious problem and we're talking about people that that maybe want to change and they just don't know how so I asked him specifically What people could do who want to break the cycle of addiction?

02:59:47.000 And that has a lot of our focus here, but people in natural healing, living a long, Healthy life, frankly, is very important to us.

02:59:59.000 Well, thanks for having me on.

03:00:01.000 Yeah, you know, it's not easy these days living a healthy lifestyle and everything that we're bombarded with on a daily basis from all the chemicals and toxins that we touch, that we put on our skin, that we breathe in through the air, that we're exposed to in our environment.

03:00:18.000 I mean, The majority of homes are actually toxic, the majority of schools are actually toxic, and the majority of businesses are toxic too.

03:00:26.000 So it's really hard to live a perfect healthy life, but that's why we're here, and that's why we're here to try to help everybody out.

03:00:34.000 And as baby steps, if there's a long ladder all the way up to perfect health, Even if you're taking one step up every single day, you're making progress, or you're standing still, and you take a step up every week, it's still better than standing still or going backwards.

03:00:50.000 And most people are actually taking a step down every single day when they're talking about their health.

03:00:56.000 I find this to be true for myself.

03:00:58.000 You know, we live in an incredibly stressful environment and coping mechanisms for stress, sometimes they're less than healthy.

03:01:05.000 You can develop patterns that are really difficult to break.

03:01:09.000 Dependencies, for example, and addiction, be it alcohol or cigarette smoking or drug taking.

03:01:16.000 Do you have any advice for people that are struggling with addictions?

03:01:20.000 From the, you know, just the bad habits to the really, really, really nasty ones that really compromise health.

03:01:26.000 What would you say to people who want to break the cycle of addiction?

03:01:29.000 Is it dependent on what they're doing or is there one cure-all?

03:01:34.000 How would you approach that?

03:01:35.000 Yes, so what you're talking about addiction is probably one of the biggest problems that we face right now in today's society because everybody Addiction is so stressed out and everybody is so toxic that they're looking for a way out.

03:01:49.000 And addiction is just looking for an outside source to bring you happiness or to put a band-aid over your real emotions or what you're feeling.

03:02:00.000 So when we studied addictions, you know, why are so many people addicted?

03:02:04.000 And what is the term addiction anyway?

03:02:07.000 What we found is, and I'm talking addiction would be repeating the same thing over and over, and it's different.

03:02:13.000 So for coffee, let's say, someone who drinks over four cups a day, maybe three cups a day, we would say that person is addicted.

03:02:22.000 Or someone who's doing something every day for a matter of, like drinking alcohol every single day.

03:02:27.000 You know, things in moderation are not that bad on your body because your body can deal with it.

03:02:34.000 Even the toxic prescription medications like pain pills people are addicted to.

03:02:39.000 It's one of the worst addictions that we have right now.

03:02:43.000 All of the medications for mental illness like depression, anxiety, stress, bipolar.

03:02:50.000 There's children that are on psychological drugs as early as two years old.

03:02:57.000 Military that are addicted to medication and committing suicide for anti-depression drugs.

03:03:03.000 You mentioned that, and my heart really goes out to military personnel.

03:03:06.000 We've covered cases where, you know, soldiers returning, they have such severe PTSD.

03:03:11.000 One man, he actually lit himself on fire outside of a VA hospital.

03:03:15.000 There doesn't seem to be a very effective way of coping with severe anxiety, depression, PTSD.

03:03:21.000 And you see that population of us really hit rather hard by addiction in one form.

03:03:28.000 What would you say to them if they're listening to this, and maybe feel hopeless for that matter?

03:03:33.000 So what we found, and this goes back to the ancient methodology of traditional Chinese medicine and ancient Egyptian medicine, ancient Ayurvedic medicine, I mean really looking back at the root cause, what is it that causes the body and the brain to develop addictions?

03:03:54.000 Well, let's say for cigarette smoking, for example, we know that there are addictive compounds that the government has created, well, really private companies have created that have added to the food supply to make you addicted to food.

03:04:09.000 High fructose corn syrup, it all plays on the brain and the mechanics of the brain and the neurotransmitters in your brain to give you that feel good feeling.

03:04:19.000 So whether it's a cigarette, whether it's alcohol, Whether it's sugar, whether it's food, whether it's cell phone that you're addicted to, social media, it doesn't really matter.

03:04:34.000 It's all creating a chemical.

03:04:38.000 Reaction in the brain that's giving you the feeling of pleasure so the next thing that we need to look at is Well, if it's the chemicals that's causing the addiction where pain medications or anything like that that's altering the brain What can we do naturally to satisfy the brain so we don't have those addictions anymore?

03:05:00.000 And that goes back to the ancient times, what they would do.

03:05:03.000 They would do fasting or they would do cleansing of the body.

03:05:06.000 We know now that the gut is the powerhouse of the brain, which means all of those neurotransmitters, or a good percentage of them, are actually produced in your gut.

03:05:17.000 We know that a healthy gut has three pounds of good bacteria in it.

03:05:21.000 We also know, with my own personal experience, cleansing the intestines, repairing the gut with the good biome defense, with the good probiotics, giving the body the nutrients that it needs, because nutritional deficiencies can also cause, for example, anybody that smokes or drinks a lot of coffee or eats food are going to have nutritional deficiencies and

03:05:46.000 those nutritional deficiencies can affect the way your brain functions and works. So getting back to the

03:05:51.000 root cause of addictions, every single person that we've dealt with that has addictions, we start

03:05:57.000 them off with intestinal cleansing and repair, liver and gallbladder cleansing and repair, you

03:06:02.000 know, getting the harmful organisms out of the body and then getting all the toxic chemicals

03:06:09.000 back in the body. It all starts with cleansing. Once your body is cleansed and you have that

03:06:16.000 good gut brain connection again, And...

03:06:20.000 You can cope with these things and you start feeling good about yourself again.

03:06:24.000 See, health equals self-confidence.

03:06:27.000 Also, when you look at addictions, most people that are addicted have problems with self-confidence and they have problems with success as well.

03:06:35.000 So, health actually makes you become self-confident and once you become self-confident, You know, think of about a time in your life where you looked in the mirror and you said, I love myself.

03:06:50.000 I'm so happy with myself.

03:06:53.000 I feel great about myself and I am so self-confident I could do anything right now.

03:06:59.000 Very rare.

03:07:00.000 I used to ask people that question all the time.

03:07:02.000 Well we're taught not to think that way.

03:07:03.000 I know I was taught not to think that way.

03:07:05.000 I don't know if it's a society thing or what it is, but you're kind of taught that that's a big no-no and there's something wrong with you.

03:07:14.000 It's almost like we need to be reprogrammed on just a basic level, just to like ourselves again before we, you know, kind of tackle the layers of this.

03:07:23.000 So just taking this back really quickly because if we just help one person listening to this, so somebody dealing with I don't know.

03:07:31.000 They drank five to eight times a day, and they don't want to do it anymore, but they don't know how to break that cycle.

03:07:38.000 I've heard of cases where prescription medicine is involved sometimes with addiction.

03:07:44.000 It doesn't seem to ever work.

03:07:45.000 It seems to be counterintuitive.

03:07:47.000 Giving that person hope, if we can do that, where would they start?

03:07:53.000 Would they just say, okay, we're going to try this fast.

03:07:56.000 If it doesn't work, You know, that seems like a lot, and it seems like a lot to ask somebody, especially, you know, just being a field reporter, going into people's homes, seeing what they're dealing with, you know, telling somebody to go fast, that is like, in some cases, pie in the sky for some people if they can't reach that bar yet.

03:08:16.000 No, and addictions are really one of the hardest things to have to deal with, and you really have to, you know, almost come to a point where you're really serious about wanting to do it.

03:08:29.000 Addictions literally take over your body.

03:08:32.000 Right.

03:08:33.000 It's all you can think about, it's all you want to do, and it's really sad.

03:08:38.000 But what I'm saying is You know, there's always hope, like you said, and there's always faith, you know, and you have the power.

03:08:46.000 What I'm trying to let people know is that we were born with the power to do everything.

03:08:51.000 And what the root cause of addictions are is the fact the chemicals, all the chemicals in the food and everything that you're ingesting into your body, alcohol, for example, Has gluten.

03:09:04.000 Gluten is a chronic inflammatory agent.

03:09:08.000 It actually causes you, it's like a drug, it's actually an opioid.

03:09:12.000 So anybody who eats wheat or drinks beer or has alcohol, you get one of the feelings of that, that feeling good is the fact that it has gluten in it.

03:09:23.000 So when you look at all of the different things, That caused addictions, you can try to eliminate those things over a period of time and just try to be strong.

03:09:34.000 If I had a magic bullet for addictions, it would be great.

03:09:39.000 Meditation, drinking clean water and slowly, you know, don't try to do anything cold turkey because most of the time it just doesn't work.

03:09:48.000 Cleanse and repair your bowel.

03:09:50.000 You'll see amazing things happen.

03:09:53.000 Your bowel actually will create those feel-good hormones for you and start eating healthy and avoiding all the chemicals and toxins in your life.

03:10:00.000 And just start slowly and start working on one at a time.
