00:05:22.000Because she tried to have a rational, sober discussion at Islam.
00:05:26.000Basically, her contention is it's a nice religion, but then the sand people, the Bedouins, the travelers, the radicals, took it over and they bastardized it, and now it sucks.
00:05:38.000And we need to get back to the pure original form.
00:05:54.000Well, but, you know, what people Muslims do all the time is they mix up what Muhammad said when he was in Mecca and what he said when he was in Medina.
00:06:08.000And the two things are completely and totally different.
00:07:08.000Well, because they believe that, I'm sure she believes that Islam has really gone astray because she was thought it was such a beautiful religion.
00:07:18.000And now people are telling her, no, that's quite a hateful religion.
00:07:24.000Well, she probably found out the hard way when she came out of the closet.
00:07:28.000I've noticed that if you ask Robert Spencer, not Richard Spencer, dumbass, his contention is it's the Quran.
00:08:20.000And then shortly after, a radical black Islamist, 2-2, went and stabbed a cop at the Capitol.
00:08:28.000And obviously there's an argument for mental illness as there is with every mass killing or killing in this sense, political killing, but it's terrorism.
00:08:37.000And you don't afford the right the same courtesy.
00:08:42.000For example, I saw an interesting discussion with the Covington about the Covington Catholic school kid.
00:08:49.000And it was Russell Brand, of all people.
00:09:59.000And calling the Covington Catholic school kids child fuckers or you got raped by Jesus and all this other stuff, which if you said that to a Muslim, if you're a redneck and you're like, Muhammad fucked an eight-year-old, you could be arrested.
00:10:12.000But that was totally glossed over by the press.
00:10:16.000I'm interested in the way that the sort of culture war is playing out in our sort of emotional.
00:10:24.000Yeah, so I'll just adjust your description slightly, just the terms of what you said, because I would say it, I understand what you're saying, but I would say it slightly differently.
00:10:33.000What I would say is they didn't interpret an emotion.
00:11:09.000Our brains are automatically inferring the meaning.
00:11:13.000So a scowl or a smirk can mean many things, right?
00:11:18.000A smirk can mean happiness, it can mean contempt, it can mean fear, it can mean anger, it can mean many things.
00:11:26.000And actually, you know, if you look at the evidence, like the actual scientific evidence, what you see is that, for example, people scowl about 30% of the time when they're angry.
00:11:41.000That's the stereotype of the supposed expression, the universal expression of anger is to scowl.
00:11:47.000So people scowl about 30% of the time.
00:17:01.000Okay, so we just want to make sure that this is all good, okay, sir?
00:17:04.000I understand you're probably trying to help, at least appearing to, but you literally have a bunch of kids in here, a bunch of miners, all by yourself.
00:17:16.000Meanwhile, the cops don't want to deal with this because if they take a bunch of illegal kids back to the station, that's paperwork forever.
00:21:47.000And I saw they had that church in Calgary that's got fenced off, but I thought they were going to bust the church, and then they had them fenced in so they couldn't escape.
00:21:56.000But no, they're arresting everyone, well, the priest mostly, and then they've got it fenced off and locked so no one can ever get in, and he can't hold sermons anymore.
00:31:56.000Eric Bowling, who I used to not like, when I did Sophie Can Walk, that video about my daughter in a wheelchair, she would have been one at the time, so that would have been 13 years ago.
00:33:13.000And everything that these voting laws stand for and what they look like are reminiscent of the Jim Crow policies that my family's lived under.
00:33:24.000So this is all about racial discrimination.
00:33:26.000And how dare you try to act like you are somehow a proponent of black people and businesses just to make a point and to try to create a wedge?
00:33:35.000It's ignorant and it's just disrespectful.
00:37:41.000But yeah, George Floyd's about to erupt.
00:37:44.000Chauvin is going to go very bad no matter what happens.
00:37:47.000And the analogy we were using the other day is like if you walk around Manhattan, you slap someone in the face, eventually you're going to get killed.
00:37:54.000If there was an old lady who lived in East New York and she had a penchant for late-night walks, she would eventually get raped and murdered, or at least have the shit beaten out of her.
00:38:06.000She doesn't deserve that, but if you walk around East New York late at night and you're an old lady, it's going to end up very bad for you.
00:39:11.000If you watch the actual Chauvin trial and then watch the media coverage of the Chauvin trial, the gap is stunning.
00:39:17.000The media are paving the way for riots by ignoring the prosecution's difficulties, and his acquittal is not a remote possibility based on those difficulties.
00:39:36.000This ignores the actual takeaway from the use of force experts' testimony.
00:39:42.000The force officer admitted that Chauvin's procedure was a lesser use of force than adopted in the past, that it wasn't a chokehold.
00:39:50.000That use of force standards change based on drug use or physical statute of a suspect, that he had personally restrained suspects until EMS arrived, that some suspects quickly regain consciousness, and thus sometimes suppression is necessary despite appearances.
00:42:19.000Now, I know if there's no political reasons, and it's two different races, you think racism.
00:42:26.000But part of you also, I know I poo-poo the mental illness part of it, but when it's a football player, I can't help but think of head injuries.
00:42:50.000By the way, remember we were talking about the toast thing where there was the Buffalo, New York morning crew, and they had a funny little bit about how, oh, I like my toast Beyonce Dark.
00:49:48.000Hey, Gavin, Ryan, got a long time listener.
00:49:50.000I'm listening to your show on the app on an Android phone, but at least three times a show, the show pauses, and I have to manually reload the reader.
00:50:32.000The boyfriend arrived, was about 6'4 and 300 pounds, while my nephew is 5'11 and 130 pounds.
00:50:37.000He immediately started telling my nephew to empty his pockets and called for the crowd of crackheads that was forming that this white boy needs to pay.
00:50:45.000My nephew said, fuck off, and walked into the gas station on the corner to wait for the police.
00:50:49.000The man followed him and proceeded to throw him on the ground and start punching him in the head.
00:50:53.000The cops arrived and did nothing to this faggot.
00:50:56.000He wasn't even present during the wreck and arrived on the scene after.
00:50:59.000My nephew started to speak his mind and the police threatened to arrest him for fleeing the scene.
00:54:18.000But when it's a pit bull, I keep seeing more and more of this, or some sort of pit bull mix.
00:54:23.000And they want to walk and they want to give their dog freedom.
00:54:26.000The freedom to enjoy the park the way they do without a leash.
00:54:31.000And of course, when the dog does something ridiculous like attack a kid, I saw a video of that, but I'm not going to show it because it's so disturbing.
00:58:12.000Now, what would happen was that the dog was, she was sitting on the front seat of the bus, on the upper level, and the dog was jumping up and down on her lap.
00:58:22.000But its genital was rubbing against the edge of a skirt.
00:58:29.000And then the dog came all over the skirt.
00:58:32.000And she just took out a piece of tissue and cleaned it off.
00:58:41.000Remember, we were in Montreal walking up that mountain, and there was some woman carrying her dog shit in a bag, and you were so horrified you had to run around in front of her so you wouldn't be looking at it.
00:58:51.000Well, I remember one time I was in Nusmuna, it was in a Mexican restaurant, and I looked up, and there was a woman with a dog sitting down to eat.
00:59:49.000A woman brought a dog onto an aircraft, and it was in the next automatic, a couple of seats down, and I said to the attendant, I'm allergic to dogs.
01:00:25.000I was on a flight once, and I wasn't in first class, but I was walking by first class, and I saw some hairstylist, I assume, and he had two dogs, each with a little thing.
01:00:35.000And in first class, when they're on the floor, that's not that bad.
