J.J. Cole and Cat Turd react to the news that FBI Director Chris Wray is stepping down. They also discuss the DOJ spying on Kash Patel and Andrew McCabe and how this all ties into the Russia scandal.
00:05:25.760Well, John, Christopher, the FBI director, is making this announcement right now in an all-staff town hall with thousands of FBI employees across the country.
00:05:40.840He was seven years into his tenure term, and realistically, he had two options, wait to be fired by President-elect Donald Trump because Trump announced Kash Patel would take over or bow out before.
00:05:55.940Ray is a former Republican lawyer, former DOJ prosecutor here in Washington, D.C., hired by Trump in 2017 after Trump fired James Comey after the entire Russia investigation probe.
00:06:11.380And Ray pretty much stayed out of the headlines as much as he could, at least.
00:06:15.180But in 2022, former President Trump became increasingly angry when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago during the classified documents investigation.
00:06:25.540Of course, that was ordered by Attorney General Merrick Garland, who oversees the Justice Department, not Christopher Wray.
00:06:31.800But nonetheless, Christopher Wray saw the future and saw that it is his time to go.
00:06:36.820So he will be stepping down as Kash Patel, the upcoming FBI director, if confirmed, is on Capitol Hill.
00:06:44.740So the director right now is making this announcement to an all-staff meeting.
00:06:49.440We're waiting to get some wording of some of his comments.
00:07:08.240What's so interesting to me is that you don't hear the outrage that you heard like you did on January 6th when you had a congresswoman who was completely attacked right there on Capitol Hill.
00:07:23.880And, yes, I'm talking about Representative Nancy Mace, who last night at 6 p.m. at the Capitol was confronted by an LGBTQ activist, James McIntyre, who allegedly grabbed Nancy Mace's hand aggressively, tightened his grip, and shook her around by the arm.
00:07:46.900I mean, she's over there wearing a sling today.
00:07:49.980Yeah, these people think they're living in some kind of fantasy world where they all talk shit to each other and then go up there and grab a congressman.
00:21:43.420And they've accepted the idea that these are going to be the puppets that they put and push in front of the world, for the world to see, while they control everything in the background.
00:21:53.680And now the American people are completely aware of it.
00:22:21.260We understand that ProPublica, the left-wing hack group, is planning to publish a knowingly false report that I was not accepted to West Point in 1999.
00:22:32.600Here's my letter of acceptance signed by West Point Superintendent Lieutenant General Daniel Christman, U.S. Army.
00:23:33.820Jen Peskanky says the quiet part out loud that if there's enough pressure on one nominee and they back out or don't get confirmed, it opens the door for that to happen to others.
00:23:49.940And they're still not automatically through, but, you know, if you have a couple of four defectors and they're trying to coup his nominees all of a sudden, then it's all on Thune.
00:24:01.420And Thune's going to have to recess so he can appoint them all.
00:24:06.400So here she is saying the quiet part out loud with a smile on her face.
00:24:10.480There are two kind of interesting nerdy dynamics happening in Washington right now behind the scenes.
00:24:15.840And some of it's a little bit public to tell you that it's not business as usual, which I think is a very good thing.
00:24:22.100One is Republican senators, not a lot of them, but enough of them are doing what I'm going to call quiet defiance, because basically they're not coming out publicly saying they're opposing nominees like Matt Gaith or Pete Hegseth, which most are quiet about.
00:27:44.940They thought they were going to be ex.
00:27:45.620If anybody thinks they have bad exes or bad girlfriends or wives or they really think they had a bad ex, he, I mean, it cost him a kingdom.
00:28:05.480Well, I'll tell you one person that's trying to stay relevant, and he's the only one, it seems, that understands what's going on here is Fetterman.
00:29:10.260Where is his, remember when his wife was with him, like every, you never saw him without each other, kind of like Jill and Job, and all of a sudden, for the last year, I haven't seen her one time in any picture.
00:29:58.440This was part of what we were voting against was the weaponization, and of course, how they were turning on their political opponents, the left.

00:37:30.900And you were not having it with these polls and everything else.
00:37:34.600You were calling them out left, right, and center, especially when you deal with the media here.
00:37:40.220I think it is just so funny that you've got Leslie Stahl, who blames low trust in media on Donald Trump and Elon Musk and says she worries greatly over the statement, legacy media is dead.
00:38:25.580I don't know how he even stood in the same room with them, but it made you appreciate him even more because they were so awful to him that you just went, oh, my gosh.
00:38:34.980I mean, here he is in the lion's den, and he's just handling himself beautifully.
00:39:38.900Not only for the technological reasons we're all worried about, and not only for the financial tectonic plates moving, but for some other reason.
00:40:10.820And he said, I do it, and I repeat it, because the more I do that, the less people are going to believe you when you say negative things about me and whatever.
00:40:39.280I mean, we're way down there with Congress, but we're way down there, and I despair, seriously.
00:40:46.180I worry greatly, and I think there are other institutions that have been suffering, and you're right not to blame Donald Trump 100%, obviously, started many years before, but we're at a point where if the president of the United States is going to say legacy media is dead, well, I guess Musk said that.
00:41:07.080Legacy media is dead, and he wants it dead.
00:41:10.200He wants other media, but it is kind of, sort of hobbling.
00:41:13.860They just can't quit blaming it on Trump.
00:41:56.720They have lost the battle, and they did it to themselves.
00:41:59.400And they can't – you're never going to get out of a problem if you're not self-aware of what it is.
00:42:06.120If you just lie to yourself about it, the problem's always never going to get better because you can't even – if you can't tell yourself the truth, man.
00:42:48.800Well, they've given us a tremendous opportunity, an absolute tremendous opportunity to where you can have real journalists that really are going to find out the truth.
00:42:59.440After being lied to by this propaganda, news, all these different corporations that – I mean, everything from the jab because of who they're sponsoring on, it has been one big fat lie after another.
00:43:13.620And so, as a result, you've got great people that are stepping up and are doing the hard work and are, you know, creating these amazing accounts like yours, like so many others, investigative reporters and journalists that are there just to basically report the truth instead of the spin.
00:44:45.980And what can you say when she sat there and voted for Garland and voted for every one of Joe Biden's picks just about, and she ain't going to give Trump his picks, and you're a Republican?
00:44:57.300You think that's going to fly with us?
00:45:21.360I mean, that's the one thing that I feel we can all do is pick up the phone or tag them in posts and make some noise, and boy, did she start backing up.
00:45:29.820But it's too late, and I'm glad it's too late.
00:48:11.340Oh, he has no problem sitting down for a three hour interview, a two hour interview, even with people that don't particularly or haven't been particularly nice to him in the past or who haven't given him a chance.
00:48:23.280He's willing to go up there and talk to any of them.
00:48:26.060I mean, this is what makes him so incredible.
00:48:28.160This is why we chose him to be the person to go and to talk to all of these leaders around the world.
00:48:35.000We know that he is going to do our bidding.
00:48:37.400He is going to do the best job that he can for us.
00:48:39.880And if and I know a lot and all you people in Washington scratching your head, how does he do it?
00:48:47.040Because every time you attack him, Joni Ernst, and don't give him his picks.
00:48:51.580And every time, you know, all these people that screwed him over and backstabbed him, his own vice president, every time y'all do that, you're doing it to us.
00:52:04.380And we are going to make sure that we primary every single one of these people that have gone against us and have gone against President Trump's picks.
00:52:13.140Because it's only a matter of time before they do it again with somebody else.
00:52:16.740They think that this is just temporary and they think, okay, well, if we can just survive through here, we're going to go back to business as usual once President Trump finishes these four years.
00:52:32.820When you say we bury in like a tick, you're absolutely right.
00:52:36.840We're all paying attention now because everything they do affects us.
00:52:40.520Well, that's why you need to make sure that you have got all of your assets in order.
00:52:47.560I believe in having a substantial percentage of my financial future secured with gold and silver.
00:52:53.680And that's why I decided to partner with our sponsor, Colonial Metals Group.
00:52:58.400They helped me set up a safe and secure self-directed IRA where I have assets to my assets.
00:53:06.060No matter what the stock market or for that matter, the government is doing.
00:53:10.520All you need to do is head on over to freegoldguide.com slash LB for your free Colonial Metals Group Retirement Protection Kit created specifically for our listeners, the litter mates.
00:53:43.820We have got Paul Stone who is going to join us tomorrow.
00:53:47.280We're going to do an additional half hour to this show.
00:53:50.280And he's going to talk about all of the things that are going on and how money is moving and where it's going and what to look out for because we've got a whole new situation now.
00:54:00.780And you definitely want to make sure that you take advantage of what's happening, especially with a new administration.
00:54:06.940Everybody starts to reshuffle their cards whenever somebody new comes into office.
00:54:36.060So Donald Trump, speaking about living in their heads rent-free, he is set to be named Time Magazine's Person of the Year, and rightfully so.
00:54:50.120Hope they won't put horns on him this time. Remember when they did that last time?
00:56:59.180He says the resignation of Christopher Wray is a great day for America as it will end the weaponization of what has become known as the will of the weaponization of what will become known as the United States Department of Injustice.
00:57:20.240We will now restore the rule of law for all Americans.
00:57:24.400Under the leadership of Christopher Wray, the FBI illegally raided my home without cause, worked diligently on illegally impeaching and indicting me, and has done everything else to interfere with the success and future of America.
00:57:40.120They have used their vast powers to threaten and destroy many innocent Americans, some of which will never be able to recover from what has been done to them.
00:57:51.880Kash Patel is the most qualified nominee to lead the FBI in the agency's history and is committed to helping ensure that law, order, and justice will be brought back to our country again and soon.
00:58:06.520As everyone knows, I have great respect for the rank and file of the FBI, and they have great respect for me.
00:58:16.520They want to see these changes every bit as much as I do.
00:58:20.940But more importantly, the American people are demanding a strong but fair system of justice.
00:58:27.520We want our FBI back, and that will now happen.
00:58:31.520I look forward to Kash Patel's confirmation so that the process of making the FBI great again can begin.
01:00:11.860I mean, I don't know what they want to do here with these people.
01:00:16.140But, I mean, there is a time where you will be more comfortable and we will be more comfortable not worrying about your next step or your next fall or your next glitch.
01:00:26.720And getting on with the work of the people.
