00:00:00.000 Hello, my Rebels. Today, I take you through some fascinating footage shot a few days ago in Seattle
00:00:05.420 when someone gets trapped in their car in the middle of one of these protest mobs.
00:00:11.480 Very interesting to watch that video frame by frame. I'll take you through it.
00:00:16.180 Of course, you could listen to it as a podcast, but I really think this is one of those videos
00:00:19.480 where a video, you need to see the video. I'll describe it for you in meticulous detail,
00:00:26.280 but I think you need to see what this guy went through. You can see it by becoming a
00:00:29.660 subscriber to Rebel News Plus. Just go to rebelnews.com. It's eight bucks a month or
00:00:33.700 80 bucks for the whole year, and you'll see this crazy video. All right, here's the show.
00:00:42.500 You're listening to a Rebel News podcast.
00:00:52.820 Tonight, what would you do if you were caught in the middle of a street mob these days?
00:00:57.380 It's June 9th, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:01:02.300 Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon consumer I know?
00:01:05.800 There's 8,500 customers here, and you won't give them an answer.
00:01:09.900 The only thing I have to say to the government about why I publish it is because it's my bloody right to do so.
00:01:15.740 Did you see that clip from the president of the Minneapolis City Council?
00:01:24.840 That's not the mayor. It's sort of like the chief legislator, if I'm understanding the position, right?
00:01:29.480 So the head of the alderman, really. Her name is Lisa Bender.
00:01:33.540 So in some way, she's more important than Minneapolis's atrocious mayor.
00:01:37.720 You remember him, Jacob Fry, this guy?
00:01:39.740 The danger became necessary, and I made the decision to evacuate the third precinct.
00:01:47.780 So that guy then became this guy because he only said he'd partly abolish the police department, not totally abolish it.
00:01:56.020 Shin! Shin! Shin! Shin! Shin! Shin! Shin! Shin! Shin!
00:02:00.940 Yeah, so Lisa Bender saw the riots, and then she saw that street rally demanding the abolition of police
00:02:08.320 and the defenestration of the super-woke-but-still-not-woke-enough mayor,
00:02:13.480 and she knew which way the wind was blowing, so she's one of the Minneapolis City Councilors
00:02:17.460 who immediately endorsed the idea of total abolition of the police department.
00:02:21.840 I'm serious, that's madness, but she's for the madness.
00:02:26.240 She wants to surf that crazy wave.
00:02:28.080 Mayor Fry couldn't handle it, but this woman thinks she can.
00:02:32.720 Take a look at this interview. This is amazing.
00:02:35.300 Do you understand that the word dismantle or police-free also makes some people nervous?
00:02:41.040 For instance, what if, in the middle of the night, my home is broken into?
00:02:45.820 Who do I call?
00:02:48.600 Yes, I mean, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors,
00:02:52.640 and I know, and myself too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege,
00:02:56.780 because for those of us for whom the system is working,
00:03:01.060 I think we need to step back and imagine what it would feel like to already live in that reality,
00:03:06.000 where calling the police may mean more harm is done.
00:03:10.060 Did you catch that?
00:03:10.940 It's white privilege to feel safe.
00:03:13.960 It's white privilege to feel like someone's going to help you if you're being robbed and you call 911.
00:03:18.500 You know, maybe it is.
00:03:20.640 I mean, Bender grew up in literally the whitest city in Minnesota, Shoreview.
00:03:26.260 Even today, the black population is exactly 1% there.
00:03:31.360 It's whiter than Utah.
00:03:32.720 It's whiter than Antarctica.
00:03:35.520 Shoreview was voted the seventh best town in America to raise a family.
00:03:38.720 I bet she did not only grow up thinking, but actually knowing that police are good and police are there to help
00:03:48.040 and you can trust police and you'll be safe.
00:03:51.180 So she wants to, I think I'm understanding her here,
00:03:54.560 she wants to punish everyone who has that privilege by taking that away from them,
00:04:01.080 by making them feel the fear of the worst neighborhoods, the poorest neighborhoods, the blackest neighborhoods.
00:04:07.660 She doesn't want to raise them up.
00:04:11.560 She doesn't want to give them the same feeling of security and protection that she had growing up in Shoreview.
00:04:16.620 She wants to pull the white parts down.
00:04:19.580 I'm pretty sure that's what she's saying.
00:04:21.820 Take a listen again, starting where she said a lot of people are telling her she's nuts,
00:04:25.780 but she won't change her mind and she won't change the subject.
00:04:28.160 Remember that part?
00:04:29.440 Yes.
00:04:29.820 I mean, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors.
00:04:33.380 And I know, and myself too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege.
00:04:37.660 Because for those of us for whom the system is working,
00:04:41.680 I think we need to step back and imagine what it would feel like to already live in that reality
00:04:46.640 where calling the police may mean more harm is done.
00:04:51.040 Now, I agree the part of empathy is trying to imagine what it's like to be someone else.
00:04:55.960 That's sort of the definition of empathy.
00:04:57.740 Put yourself in their shoes.
00:04:58.700 I think that's a key trait of being a human, actually, and it's good for a politician.
00:05:02.800 So when she says we need to imagine the fear of not having police that'll help you,
00:05:09.000 I think there could be a place for that thought exercise, an imagination exercise,
00:05:13.140 after which we might naturally say, well, how can we help everyone feel confident,
00:05:18.380 like a little rich white girl named Lisa Bender growing up in a perfect picket fence white town called Shoreview?
00:05:23.580 How can we help everybody feel the same way she felt growing up?
00:05:28.220 I think that's a really noble idea.
00:05:30.480 By the way, I have some suggestions.
00:05:33.140 Look for success where it happened.
00:05:36.360 Like how Rudy Giuliani turned New York City from the most violent city to the safest city
00:05:42.480 with a real focus on the black parts of the city, which had the highest crime.
00:05:47.800 Rudy Giuliani didn't say,
00:05:49.060 We want to make the rich Upper West Side live in terror, just like they do in Harlem.
00:05:54.000 He said, I want Harlem to feel as safe as the Upper West Side.
00:05:57.480 And he realized that to police Harlem vigorously was not racist.
00:06:01.240 In fact, it was what the residents there desperately wanted.
00:06:04.700 I remember hearing a speech by a Giuliani official almost 20 years ago when I was in New York,
00:06:09.560 who said that in Harlem, there was often a single thug, one single criminal,
00:06:15.680 a drug dealer or a gun dealer or a gang member, who would terrify an entire city block of people.
00:06:21.680 Just one city block.
00:06:24.080 That's still a lot of people.
00:06:25.160 And everyone would know the guy who would bully them or threaten them or rob them or scare them
00:06:30.960 or hit them or, God forbid, try to recruit their sons.
00:06:35.360 And that one guy, that one criminal, this official said, would terrify 200 other people on the block.
00:06:41.580 Make 200 other people suffer because that's how many people would live on a block.
00:06:46.940 One person held 200 people hostage, really.
00:06:49.640 Made them afraid.
00:06:50.800 Made them stay indoors.
00:06:51.680 Put bars on their windows.
00:06:52.780 And no point calling the cops in the 1970s.
00:06:55.740 But Giuliani swept up that one guy on each block through his broken windows approach to policing.
00:07:01.480 And soon the 200 de facto prisoners on that block would be free because the criminal would be gone.
00:07:07.860 And maybe they could even eventually take the bars off their window one day and hang out on their porch after sunset.
00:07:12.940 By broken windows theory, I mean the theory by a Nobel laureate, James Q. Wilson, who said,
00:07:19.260 if people in the community see that small crimes are ignored, they get the message.
00:07:24.180 It's a community that doesn't care about crime.
00:07:26.060 Graffiti, jaywalking, jumping the turnstiles on the subway without paying, littering.
00:07:30.400 So you crack down on these, the theory goes.
00:07:34.040 You send a message to the whole community.
00:07:35.760 We're civilized around here.
00:07:37.180 We don't tolerate crime around here.
00:07:39.040 That's not how we do it around here.
00:07:41.080 And by the way, you're often sweeping up people who happen to be bad dudes too.
00:07:44.360 You pick up someone for jaywalking.
00:07:45.780 Maybe you pick them up.
00:07:46.980 They had something else they were wanted for.
00:07:48.280 That's how New York City turned it around.
00:07:50.880 The police saved New York.
00:07:54.000 The police did not destroy it.
00:07:56.220 In Minneapolis, they seem to be saying that the looters are the answer.
00:08:00.160 And the police are the problem.
00:08:01.860 Do you understand that the word dismantle or police free also makes some people nervous?
00:08:07.600 For instance, what if in the middle of the night my home is broken into?
00:08:12.380 Who do I call?
00:08:13.360 Yes, I mean, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors.
00:08:19.660 And I know, and myself too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege.
00:08:23.600 Because for those of us for whom the system is working, I think we need to step back and
00:08:28.980 imagine what it would feel like to already live in that reality where calling the police
00:08:34.500 may mean more harm is done.
00:08:36.460 That is crazy.
00:08:38.860 You know, Lisa Bender had a master's degree in city planning from Berkeley.
00:08:43.280 I would think that she would be horrified by what's happening in Minneapolis.
00:08:47.040 I mean, she's a city planner, but the kind of city planning they talk about at Berkeley
00:08:50.320 is exactly what is unfolding in Minneapolis, actually.
00:08:53.240 I was reading a bit about her biography.
00:08:54.940 By the way, she lives in the whitest part of Minneapolis to this day.
00:08:58.960 She moved from Shoreview to a neighborhood in Minneapolis that's 4% African American.
00:09:04.220 I don't know how that's even possible in a city as minority.
00:09:08.080 It's almost been minority-majority in Minneapolis.
00:09:11.020 So she's staying away from the black parts of town.
00:09:14.240 Isn't that strange?
00:09:15.740 I came across this line in her biography.
00:09:19.000 In 2009, she moved to New York City and worked as the communications director for the Institute
00:09:24.440 for Transportation and Development Policy, traveling around the world advocating for biking,
00:09:28.900 walking, and non-motorized transportation.
00:09:31.940 Did you catch that?
00:09:32.760 She traveled the world advocating for no-motorized transportation.
00:09:37.900 Just turn that around in your head a bit.
00:09:40.480 She can jet set to exotic places.
00:09:43.100 You have to walk or ride a bike.
00:09:45.060 That's not how she lives, but she wants others to live that way.
00:09:49.960 I mean, she's a little bit nuts about it.
00:09:53.560 City aims for 60% of trips made by transit, bike, or foot by 2030.
00:09:59.240 Let me just show you this.
00:10:00.880 This is Minneapolis in the winter.
00:10:02.760 I just found this on YouTube, random video.
00:10:04.740 It is not far south of Winnipeg, you know.
00:10:07.940 60% of your trips by transit, bike, or foot, even in the dead of winter?
00:10:13.600 It's about ideology.
00:10:14.780 It's about controlling you.
00:10:15.500 It's about treating people not as people, but as ants in an ant colony.
00:10:19.560 Some sort of experiment.
00:10:21.400 That's what this all is to her.
00:10:22.920 She herself jets around the world while telling you to walk.
00:10:27.280 Every politician goes out to these protests at will while telling you,
00:10:30.920 you can't visit with your own family because of the pandemic.
00:10:33.920 It's like Leo DiCaprio protesting global warming from his private jet and his private yacht.
00:10:37.660 He absolutely means it.
00:10:39.020 He actually does.
00:10:40.120 But just for you, not for him, because he's different.
00:10:42.920 He's better than you, don't you see?
00:10:44.100 Do you really think Lisa Bender would allow herself and her family to be unprotected by police?
00:10:51.640 She'll be able to afford private security.
00:10:54.280 She lives in one of the safest parts of Minneapolis.
00:10:57.240 But this woman, well, she won't have as much luck.
00:11:01.840 I've worked here part time.
00:11:04.540 Plus, I'm a part owner of this store.
00:11:08.320 You said Black Lives Matter.
00:11:10.760 Why don't you choke me?
00:11:12.240 I'm black.
00:11:12.820 Tell him, sister.
00:11:13.560 Look what you did to my store.
00:11:15.200 Tell him, sister.
00:11:16.000 Look.
00:11:17.240 Look what you did to my store.
00:11:19.060 Tell him, sister.
00:11:20.080 That's why, because I got their bags.
00:11:21.740 These are my bags right here.
00:11:23.120 Look at the things you've done.
00:11:24.500 Good men.
00:11:25.260 Look.
00:11:25.920 For Black Lives Matter.
00:11:27.300 We've been here all night cleaning up.
00:11:30.500 All night cleaning.
00:11:31.860 And you've got black people sitting right here with them.
00:11:34.360 Black people.
00:11:35.000 Tell me.
00:11:35.620 That's right.
00:11:36.160 Black Lives Matter.
00:11:37.520 Exactly.
00:11:38.080 You lied.
00:11:39.640 You wanted to loot at a store.
00:11:41.440 You needed money.
00:11:43.700 Get a job like I do.
00:11:45.780 Yeah, I'm pretty sure the white liberal elite will be just fine.
00:11:49.320 Police force or no police force.
00:11:51.500 Pretty sure the Harlem of Minneapolis is about to get a lot worse.
00:11:55.780 But I've got another video for you today.
00:11:57.320 I showed you the first part on my noontime show yesterday.
00:12:00.740 I don't know if you watch it, but every day at noon, we have a one-hour live stream show
00:12:03.940 at 12 noon Eastern time.
00:12:04.860 I do it half the time.
00:12:06.060 Sheila Gunn-Reed and David Menzies do it the rest of the time.
00:12:08.160 And I showed this video.
00:12:09.720 It's a bit distracting because of the hysterical commentary by the guy who took the video.
00:12:14.260 But take a look.
00:12:15.040 And it is dramatic.
00:12:16.020 But I'm afraid the violence, sorry, the voiceover is a little bit too much.
00:12:19.740 But take a look anyways.
00:12:20.780 Oh, God.
00:12:21.960 Oh, God.
00:12:23.640 Oh, God.
00:12:24.720 Oh, God.
00:12:25.900 Oh, God.
00:12:27.360 No.
00:12:27.720 No.
00:12:30.320 Oh, God.
00:12:31.940 Oh, Jesus.
00:12:32.580 Oh, God.
00:12:38.040 Oh, God.
00:12:45.660 Oh, Jesus.
00:12:46.760 Oh, no.
00:12:48.060 Oh, God.
00:12:48.560 He's got a gun.
00:12:49.540 Oh, Jesus Christ.
00:12:51.280 Oh, Jesus Christ.
00:12:56.680 Oh, God.
00:12:57.880 He's got a gun.
00:12:58.940 He's got a gun.
00:13:03.300 Oh, God.
00:13:07.760 Oh, my God.
00:13:11.480 Oh, no.
00:13:13.940 Oh, God.
00:13:17.400 Now, that is quite something.
00:13:18.620 But can I say a few things to you about it?
00:13:20.560 And then can I play it back to you again without that guy screaming over the top of it?
00:13:23.440 Just I'll play it back silently.
00:13:24.820 I think that screamer at first thought that the car was coming to ram into the protesters
00:13:30.020 on the street.
00:13:30.780 Like what happened in Charlottesville in 2017.
00:13:33.580 Someone rammed their car into the crowd and killed someone.
00:13:36.600 He was convicted of murder.
00:13:38.280 So maybe that was on the mind of the cell phone commentator this time.
00:13:41.680 It's true.
00:13:42.220 The car speeds up.
00:13:43.360 But then it immediately slows down and stopped.
00:13:45.980 And it didn't hit anyone.
00:13:47.400 It didn't ram anyone.
00:13:48.580 Not at all.
00:13:49.700 People bolt out of the way, which is a good instinct if you're standing on a road.
00:13:53.000 But a handful of people actually chase the car.
00:13:55.300 And then there's the guy who puts a small gate or barricade in front of the car to stop
00:14:00.280 it.
00:14:01.440 And the car stops anyways.
00:14:02.640 He doesn't ram his way through.
00:14:04.140 So watch it again without the noise.
00:14:06.480 Car speeds up and then slows down and stops.
00:14:08.860 People start to mob the car.
00:14:10.600 Look at the smashing the car itself then.
00:14:12.500 Someone on the right side of the car smashing it.
00:14:14.680 Someone on the left side.
00:14:16.020 Car reaching into it.
00:14:16.940 And then that guy falling back shot.
00:14:19.300 And then the driver gets out and immediately goes into the crowd.
00:14:21.900 Watch one more time without the sound.
00:14:51.900 Okay, so was the driver of the car a good guy or a bad guy?
00:15:19.840 What would you do if your car was mobbed by violent people?
00:15:24.360 Blocked illegally on a road.
00:15:25.860 Smashed.
00:15:26.400 You were grabbed.
00:15:28.060 Would you just enjoy becoming another anonymous victim of these riots?
00:15:30.820 What would you do if you had a gun?
00:15:33.140 These are tough questions.
00:15:35.060 There's a race hustler named Sean King.
00:15:36.980 I don't know if you know about him.
00:15:38.100 He's actually white in a weird Rachel Dolezal way.
00:15:41.840 He claims to be black.
00:15:44.080 He's as white as me.
00:15:45.360 Just saying.
00:15:46.060 I mean, there's nothing wrong with being white.
00:15:47.100 But he claims to be a black activist.
00:15:49.080 He writes as if he's a black activist.
00:15:50.800 He is white.
00:15:52.360 And look what he wrote about this.
00:15:54.560 He said, Seattle, tonight.
00:15:56.480 This man in the black car, a known white supremacist,
00:15:59.160 was clearly planning to run protesters in Seattle over.
00:16:02.480 People filming saw it unfolding.
00:16:05.160 He then shoots a man, gets out of the car, brandishing his gun.
00:16:07.880 Was he clearly planning to run protesters over?
00:16:13.580 Sort of looks like the opposite.
00:16:14.900 He sped up and then immediately slowed down when people didn't get out of the way anymore.
00:16:18.380 It sort of looks like he was clearly planning to not run protesters over.
00:16:23.440 He did shoot a man, yes, a man who was reaching into his car.
00:16:27.580 And he did brandish a gun.
00:16:28.720 But is he really a known white supremacist?
00:16:32.780 Known by whom?
00:16:33.800 Known as what?
00:16:34.340 What was this white supremacist's name?
00:16:36.240 Who knew this knowing?
00:16:38.480 Who knew?
00:16:38.920 Does Sean King know?
00:16:40.840 He doesn't seem to know.
00:16:41.880 How could he know if he didn't know a name?
00:16:45.440 Do you think there's a chance he, you know, just made that part up?
00:16:50.880 Well, I don't know.
00:16:51.620 But then I saw this close-up of the man emerging from the car.
00:16:55.680 Doesn't look like a white supremacist to me, does he?
00:16:58.400 Doesn't look white.
00:17:00.780 Looks darker than Sean King.
00:17:03.400 Did Sean King just make that up to get some clicks?
00:17:05.800 And to stoke his narrative as to who was really doing the violence in these protests?
00:17:11.900 Here's the Seattle newspaper.
00:17:13.880 They actually named the guy.
00:17:15.580 He was arrested and charged with assault.
00:17:17.040 His name is Nicholas Fernandez.
00:17:19.500 He's Latino.
00:17:21.640 He was released on $150,000 bail.
00:17:23.720 I haven't heard any other rioters who had to make bail.
00:17:26.480 They're just all released if they're even arrested.
00:17:28.720 But this guy had big bail to post.
00:17:31.380 Here's how he was described.
00:17:33.800 I think this was a police statement reported in the newspaper.
00:17:36.500 A male aggressively approached the barrier that was keeping people away from the East Precinct
00:17:40.960 building, breached the barrier, and yelled to officers,
00:17:44.360 I just had to shoot somebody.
00:17:46.140 They tried to jack my car.
00:17:47.580 OK, so not only was he not running away and hiding, but he was actively seeking out police.
00:17:55.180 He aggressively approached the police.
00:17:56.700 I guess he did look aggressive and agitated.
00:17:58.860 He had just had his car mobbed, and he just shot a guy in the arm.
00:18:02.820 He was going to be OK, it turns out.
00:18:04.400 But he was aggressively turning himself in and confessing.
00:18:08.260 I just had to shoot somebody.
00:18:11.160 They tried to jack my car as in hijack it.
00:18:13.800 Yeah, I think that's what we saw, wasn't it?
00:18:17.560 Well, that changes the narrative.
00:18:18.840 He's not a white supremacist.
00:18:20.020 He's not white.
00:18:21.560 He says they tried to hijack his car, which we pretty much saw for ourselves.
00:18:26.700 He didn't go on a shooting spree or a smashing spree or any spree.
00:18:31.420 He was aggressively looking for the cops to turn himself in and get help from the mob, I think.
00:18:37.540 And of course, he's being charged.
00:18:39.360 Not worried about charges for the mob that attacked him in his car, including the guy he shot.
00:18:44.920 But that tweet from Sean King calling him a known white supremacist, it's still up on Twitter right now.
00:18:50.360 The lie is still up, as it is a thousand other places on the Internet.
00:18:55.040 Hey, what would you have done if your car was swarmed and attacked?
00:18:57.440 You were just driving on a road, and you made a wrong turn, and there was a mob there,
00:19:00.540 and you tried to speed away, and you slowed down.
00:19:02.300 What would you have done?
00:19:03.580 And what would you have done if you had a gun?
00:19:04.960 And would your answer change if you had your kids in the car with you?
00:19:10.720 This guy didn't, but might it change it one way or the other?
00:19:13.100 And what's my point?
00:19:14.700 Well, my point is this.
00:19:17.200 You've now seen life in a place where the police are abolished.
00:19:20.120 Now, they weren't quite abolished there in Seattle at that moment,
00:19:22.860 but almost.
00:19:23.720 The mob controlled the streets.
00:19:25.440 They swarmed a car on the street, started to smash it.
00:19:27.980 They tried to mete out some mob justice on the car, and he got rougher with them.
00:19:31.940 He brought a gun to a smashing fight.
00:19:34.740 Now he'll be judged in the court.
00:19:36.460 I don't think a real jury would convict him, but I think maybe the jury these days in some
00:19:40.240 parts of the U.S. are really made up of the street mob.
00:19:44.280 Reminds me of that scene in Batman when a bad guy named Bane takes over Gotham in an Occupy
00:19:49.720 Wall Street kind of way, Antifa kind of way, and he does brutal street trials.
00:19:54.320 Yeah, we know what defunding police means now.
00:19:56.740 Lisa Bender told us it means living in fear as some sort of racial remedy.
00:20:02.940 Even if you do have a gun, you'll live in fear.
00:20:06.300 She thinks it's time we imagine living in fear.
00:20:08.780 She says she wants us to more than imagine.
00:20:11.180 She wants to actually make it come true.
00:20:14.340 I see now Toronto politicians are getting excited by the idea, too, because apparently
00:20:18.100 gun crime isn't high enough yet.
00:20:20.100 So let's just take more cops off the street.
00:20:21.820 And I see Montreal wants in on the action, too.
00:20:23.780 I'm surprised Vancouver and Ottawa aren't in yet.
00:20:25.640 They will be in due time, yeah.
00:20:27.600 They mean it, people.
00:20:29.600 They mean it.
00:20:30.620 Except in our Canadian version of this de-policing story, you wouldn't have a gun in your car.
00:20:37.960 You'd just be dead.
00:20:40.540 Stay with us for more.
00:20:41.560 Over the last few days in the UK, we've realised how the police have slightly lost control
00:21:00.020 of the situation on the streets.
00:21:02.000 And not only that, in Bristol, senior police officers essentially surrendered to the protesters,
00:21:08.980 well, the so-called protesters, who brought down a statue.
00:21:12.260 That's Meyer Tusi, a very interesting commentator in the United Kingdom, criticising police, basically surrendering to the mob.
00:21:20.740 But he did more than just comment about it.
00:21:22.940 Take a look at this.
00:21:24.220 Here's an image of Meyer Tusi himself going down to the Churchill statue where it was vandalised itself.
00:21:33.680 There he is, cleaning up the vandalism.
00:21:36.260 Well, I'm so delighted to have Meyer Tusi, YouTuber, talk radio contributor, and free trade Brexiteer, joining us now via Skype from the UK.
00:21:45.640 Pleasure to meet you, sir.
00:21:46.920 Thanks for taking the time with us today.
00:21:49.100 Thank you for having me.
00:21:50.060 Thank you.
00:21:50.380 Thank you for having me.
00:22:20.380 Absolutely nothing.
00:22:24.860 It's not just the last two months because of the lockdown, but this is something that's been going on for years and decades.
00:22:31.120 They're hard-left, neo-Marxists.
00:22:33.500 They're always organised.
00:22:34.820 They always wait for the right time to find the right excuse to come out and protest and riot,
00:22:40.620 whether it's some sort of education change in terms of policy or McDonald's increasing their prices.
00:22:47.240 I don't know.
00:22:48.160 So it's just an excuse.
00:22:49.760 And you're right to say that something that happened in America, which even in America, it is a heated debate in terms of the actual reasoning behind it.
00:22:58.480 Because police aggression and even brutality by individual police officers around the world, that exists.
00:23:06.780 But pretending that you know exactly what happens in someone's head and say, well, that brutality, that aggression happened because I know for a fact that that police officer is racist.
00:23:17.320 And because of that, that means the whole establishment and institution is racist.
00:23:21.980 That's the problem.
00:23:23.240 And they have no facts or evidence to prove that there is institutional racism in the West.
00:23:29.220 But they are fighting an imaginary enemy, basically.
00:23:32.700 Well, I saw a statistic, and maybe you can confirm it or deny it, that last year in the whole of the United Kingdom, precisely two men of colour who were unarmed in police custody died.
00:23:47.060 Two of them.
00:23:47.460 And one of them was a terrorist.
00:23:48.840 Now, we don't want anyone dying in police custody.
00:23:52.080 That's too suspicious.
00:23:53.720 It looks rough.
00:23:54.460 But in a country of 67 million people, that doesn't sound like a crisis.
00:24:00.060 I'm not excusing what may be one or two atrocities.
00:24:03.900 But that doesn't sound like it's the whole lot of police in the UK are rotten.
00:24:08.900 No, not just that.
00:24:10.220 Firstly, in terms of the British police, we had the protests, obviously, in London the other night.
00:24:16.420 And the protesters were standing in front of the police, the standard police officers.
00:24:21.920 And they were shouting, don't shoot.
00:24:24.480 The British police don't have guns unless you get the right police out.
00:24:27.980 Like, the ordinary British police officer doesn't have guns.
00:24:30.320 I don't know what they were shouting at.
00:24:31.600 Don't shoot.
00:24:32.280 How are we going to shoot you?
00:24:33.240 That's one problem.
00:24:34.080 Second problem is that, as you said, we don't have that problem in the UK with the police because their issue is, they say, in certain communities and areas, the police are targeting people based on skin colour.
00:24:46.140 It's not necessarily that because I personally, obviously, my background is Persian.
00:24:50.340 I happen to be slightly tanned and brown.
00:24:53.300 And a few years ago, the peak of the London terrorism and the threats that we were getting in London, the police were told, rightly so, to go to certain areas on certain days when they received warnings to, you know, do random checks.
00:25:08.820 And I was stopped three times, like a few months, in certain areas on certain days.
00:25:15.360 And the police actually politely explained why they were doing it.
00:25:18.040 They said, you know, we received some threats and warnings in this area on this day.
00:25:23.520 And, you know, we're just going to double check to see, you know, everything's fine and, you know, who you are.
00:25:28.180 And I was absolutely fine with that.
00:25:29.780 I cooperated because, you know, it's not my fault.
00:25:31.700 It's just a weird coincidence that Islamist terrorists look like me.
00:25:36.340 I didn't blame.
00:25:37.180 It's not the fault of the police.
00:25:39.020 They have to be careful.
00:25:40.100 And, you know, in certain areas in London, there are certain communities that in terms of, for example, drug crime, it's done by certain, you know, groups.
00:25:50.160 And in the past, East London, the drug criminals were white and the police were going after white people.
00:25:58.000 So it depends on time and generation and the area, basically.
00:26:00.920 Now, in the United States, there are a small number, but very vigorous blacks for Trump, black conservatives trying to break the narrative that if, as Joe Biden said, if you're for Trump, you ain't black.
00:26:18.200 And I want to ask you, have you received any commentary from the British left, which is very vocal?
00:26:25.640 Have you received any denigrating comments?
00:26:28.960 How dare you support the police or Winston Churchill?
00:26:35.120 You ought to know better as a man of color.
00:26:37.480 Have you received any of that?
00:26:39.780 Yeah.
00:26:40.740 Well, I received a few death threats yesterday and the last couple of days.
00:26:45.340 And some of them are kind of slightly more direct.
00:26:47.900 So the Metropolitan Police are actually on the case.
00:26:50.020 But generally, the ironic comments that I've received so far from, for example, these hard left, black lives matter activists that say we are anti-racist.
00:27:00.800 I actually have the I have the screenshots of these comments saying that how dare you obviously support Churchill or clean up the area or be against black lives matter.
00:27:12.780 And then they end up finishing the sentence by saying, oh, you're just an Indian boy or a Paki boy or whatever.
00:27:19.840 And my background is Persian.
00:27:21.760 So the fact that they claim not to be racist, but then they start attacking you racially.
00:27:27.000 That's kind of hilarious.
00:27:28.540 But it is a serious problem.
00:27:30.240 I do believe that cultural wars are starting.
00:27:33.040 And we were warning on the conservative side a couple of years ago, a few years ago, saying that the cultural wars could be a problem.
00:27:39.120 It's going to start soon.
00:27:40.720 And then we need to win the battle.
00:27:42.060 Well, you said there are some black and non-white conservatives.
00:27:45.280 It's not necessarily a conservative thing in that sense.
00:27:47.280 It's just sensible people who are standing up against these loud protesters and activists.
00:27:54.000 And I think we need to get more of them out because, in my view, the majority of the black community, at least in Britain, aren't supporting them because the majority of black people are culturally conservative.
00:28:05.060 They're just they believe in their family values and their job and their house.
00:28:07.900 They don't want to get involved with any of this stuff.
00:28:09.480 Yeah, I think maybe that's a reason why anyone who is black or minority gets it particularly hard from the left, because you disprove their thesis.
00:28:19.400 I saw some statistics in a large American poll that an enormous number of American blacks not only support policing in the face of these riots, they actually want the National Guard to come in.
00:28:31.220 So I think we're certainly hearing from the activists.
00:28:33.900 Let me ask you one more question.
00:28:36.120 It's sort of biographical.
00:28:37.360 I've just discovered you because of your courageous stand.
00:28:41.380 And I'm just learning a little bit about you.
00:28:43.600 I find it very interesting.
00:28:46.380 Give me your prediction.
00:28:47.660 You just hit 100,000 followers on YouTube.
00:28:50.600 Congratulations.
00:28:51.420 I remember that milestone for our company.
00:28:53.700 It took us years to get there.
00:28:55.260 So that's tremendous.
00:28:57.260 What sorts of things do you think the news will bring in the rest of 2020?
00:29:02.040 I know that's a tough thing to predict between the pandemic and the riots.
00:29:05.460 It's been a crazy year.
00:29:06.720 But you obviously have your finger on the pulse of a lot of issues, including Brexit.
00:29:10.360 What does the rest of the year hold for the United Kingdom?
00:29:14.100 Yeah.
00:29:14.540 Firstly, I've just reached 150,000.
00:29:16.900 No, you're right.
00:29:18.620 There is going to be – you can't really predict.
00:29:21.640 But there are a couple of things that will definitely happen.
00:29:24.440 One, in the next few weeks, we're going to start the Brexit debate again because a few weeks' time from now is the deadline for both the EU and the UK to agree to any possible extension.
00:29:37.220 And the way things are going, I don't think there will be an extension unless something happens, which means for the next six months, there will just be a constant debate about this no-deal Brexit cliff edge.
00:29:49.340 The country is going down, that possibility.
00:29:51.620 The media, we're going to have that.
00:29:53.020 We're going to definitely have this culture debate heated.
00:29:58.280 And it has started on race, but I can assure you all the other groups are going to come out as well.
00:30:03.600 You're going to have the militant, hardcore feminists.
00:30:07.820 You've got the vegans.
00:30:08.880 You've got all the cultural groups.
00:30:10.660 They're going to get together because they all have the same agenda, which is Marxism.
00:30:14.080 And we're going to have to have that because there's not much else going on politically, again, apart from Brexit stuff.
00:30:19.560 And we also have to deal with the economic problems because there might be, obviously, a financial recession.
00:30:25.820 I mean, we might actually be in it already.
00:30:27.180 And so you're going to have some boring debates, which is going to dry economics because of what's happening after the lockdown, but also some more heated cultural stuff with everything that's happening with Black Lives Matter and also the Brexit trade talks.
00:30:44.260 Well, it's very fascinating.
00:30:45.660 I have a deep love for the United Kingdom that I've come to in the last few years.
00:30:49.000 Haven't been able to travel there in a few months, obviously.
00:30:51.280 So it's nice to catch up with you.
00:30:52.740 I look forward to watching your YouTube videos, and thanks for correcting me on your viewer count.
00:30:57.380 I know there's a lag time when you get that plaque from YouTube headquarters.
00:31:01.780 So congratulations on that again.
00:31:03.340 Well, what a pleasure.
00:31:04.360 Congratulations to you.
00:31:05.620 Stay strong and stay safe.
00:31:07.220 Thanks for your time today.
00:31:08.860 Yes, thank you.
00:31:09.540 All right.
00:31:09.900 There you have it.
00:31:10.420 That's Meyer Tusi, a YouTuber, talk radio contributor, and a man who went out to personally clean the graffiti off the Winston Churchill statue.
00:31:21.380 Stay with us.
00:31:22.180 More ahead on the run.
00:31:31.940 Hey, welcome back.
00:31:32.720 On my monologue yesterday, Sherry writes,
00:31:34.920 You write about never bending the knee to the mob.
00:31:36.520 It shows weakness, not strength.
00:31:38.180 As if to prove a point, Trudeau's bending the knee for a photo op.
00:31:41.440 Donald Trump had him pegged right from the start.
00:31:43.780 Not only does it show weakness personally, but if you're representing something bigger than yourself, do you have permission on behalf of the police department, on behalf of the government of Canada, to bend the knee on their behalf to some mob?
00:32:00.000 Says who?
00:32:01.120 Is that how we write laws and make policy and do policing in Canada?
00:32:03.960 No, it is not.
00:32:04.780 If you want to go humiliate yourself and your own identity.
00:32:07.940 But Trudeau went there as a prime minister, and so did all these police.
00:32:13.380 Liam writes,
00:32:15.680 Yeah, but I don't think the good people of Minneapolis deserve what they got, even though they voted for the guy.
00:32:24.580 Ironically, he wasn't even the craziest guy on the ballot, and he'll be replaced by someone crazier next time.
00:32:29.820 It makes me sad that the chief victims here will be poor black urban dwellers.
00:32:34.860 Rich folks like Lisa Bender already live in safe neighborhoods in Minneapolis, and they'll be able to afford private security anyways.
00:32:41.860 It's sad.
00:32:43.680 On my interview with Ben Weingarten, David writes,
00:32:45.500 Let them have Minneapolis. Anybody with any sense will vacate the city post haste.
00:32:49.900 When the city crumbles under the stupidity, the proof of communist failure will be evident.
00:32:53.760 Yeah, I don't think we need more proof, though.
00:32:55.400 I think we know where this path leads.
00:32:58.860 Detroit, Baltimore.
00:33:01.120 It's well proven.
00:33:02.060 We don't need to add one more city to this roster.
00:33:04.640 It's just misery for the people who are trapped there, and it infects other cities with bad ideas,
00:33:10.680 and we bear the cost of it, too.
00:33:12.280 Not in Canada, for American disasters, but throughout America.
00:33:15.800 Yeah, a Leninist would say the worse, the better, but we don't believe that.
00:33:21.120 Well, that's our show for today.
00:33:22.200 Until tomorrow, on behalf of all of us from Rebel World Headquarters, see you at home.
00:33:26.260 Good night, and keep fighting for freedom.
00:33:28.240 We'll be right back.
