00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, it is Tuesday, March the 1st, 2022, and you have
00:00:22.860 tuned into the Rebel News live stream.
00:00:26.000 I'm David Menzies and my co-host, well, let me tell you about my co-host.
00:00:30.020 You know, it's the first day of March, but she always marches to the beat of a different
00:00:34.220 drummer.
00:00:34.920 She is the she-devil with a sword.
00:00:36.920 She is the Khaleesi of Northern Alberta.
00:00:40.560 She is Sheila Gunn-Reed.
00:00:42.980 How are you doing there, Sheila?
00:00:45.080 Oh, I'm great.
00:00:46.080 You know, Lent starts tomorrow, so that's the great fast.
00:00:49.360 So I'm currently doing my best to consume all the good things in my house right now.
00:00:53.040 I had three helpings of bacon.
00:00:55.460 And I plan to eat just everything in the house and just run right headfirst into Lent.
00:01:02.860 Are you guys having pancakes today?
00:01:05.160 Well, that reminds me of a rock saying, do you like pancakes?
00:01:09.260 And where were you born?
00:01:10.400 And then you can pancake your no-you-know-what-batter.
00:01:14.700 But, you know, Sheila, here, you don't have to brag about this incredible metabolism you
00:01:19.800 have.
00:01:20.100 Yeah, you can eat your bacon and your pancakes.
00:01:23.240 And meanwhile, I take one M&M and I go from fat to circus fat, OK?
00:01:29.440 OK, so, you know...
00:01:30.800 You need a hit of insulin.
00:01:32.300 Yeah, I got to keep walking.
00:01:34.460 I got to get on the treadmill, the bicycle if the warmer weather ever gets here.
00:01:38.880 So, yeah, start rubbing it in, OK, Skinny Mini?
00:01:41.900 I wasn't rubbing it in.
00:01:43.220 I was just saying that today's the day.
00:01:45.820 Today's the big day where nothing matters.
00:01:48.080 Just get on your stretchy pants and eat everything in the house, which I have done.
00:01:52.900 So far, so good, anyway.
00:01:53.920 I'll tell you something very important about today here in the People's Republic of Ontario,
00:01:59.460 Sheila, is Vax Pass liberation.
00:02:03.740 The Vax Pass is gone from restaurants and gyms.
00:02:07.740 Although I heard, and we're going to check this out, but that's a story for another day.
00:02:11.620 There's still going to be some, I don't know, COVID care and entrepreneurs demanding the Vax Pass,
00:02:18.300 even though the government says, no, you don't need it anymore.
00:02:20.760 I find that unbelievable on a couple of things.
00:02:24.940 One, how does the owner of a restaurant, the owner of a gym, how do they think they are a specialist in contagious diseases?
00:02:34.540 And secondly, I thought the economy was being thrashed with all the closures these last two years.
00:02:42.280 Wouldn't you want everyone into your place of business?
00:02:45.800 And thirdly, as we all know, Sheila, if you are vaccinated, that is no guarantee you're not going to get COVID.
00:02:53.660 So, and I don't know if I'm getting on to thin ice here in terms of YouTube.
00:02:59.400 So close.
00:03:00.540 Just stating the facts, folks.
00:03:02.720 But what do you make of that?
00:03:03.980 Because I understand, and we're going to get to this later, Edmonton is keeping masks for some reason too, right?
00:03:11.980 Well, I know the reason, but we'll get to that in a second.
00:03:14.560 I should tell everybody exactly what we're doing here before I opine on the peeping Tom-ness of some of these businesses in Ontario, because that's what they are.
00:03:22.900 They're medical peeping Toms, total weirdos.
00:03:25.520 You know, like most people are like, I don't want to know what your medical, anything about your medical history.
00:03:31.540 Like, I don't want to know.
00:03:32.600 I just, I'm too busy minding my own business.
00:03:34.840 These people love prying into other people's lives.
00:03:39.460 Yeah.
00:03:39.540 I think that's crazy.
00:03:41.660 I think it's creepy.
00:03:42.680 That's like, why don't you just go look in their windows?
00:03:45.320 Go through their medicine cabinet.
00:03:46.580 Those are the kind of people who go through your medicine cabinet.
00:03:48.920 Weirdos.
00:03:49.480 You know, you're so right, Sheila.
00:03:51.180 And if you're going to ask me about my vaccination status as a restaurateur.
00:03:56.760 I'm going to want to know about your prostate.
00:03:58.540 I'm sorry.
00:03:59.160 That's my next question.
00:04:00.160 Well, not really, but seriously, since you're preparing my food, can you give me any kind of history of sexual diseases you've endured over the last few decades?
00:04:15.420 I mean, how dare you?
00:04:16.920 You know, go cook my burger and I'll pay you money.
00:04:20.500 That's how it works.
00:04:21.500 And I don't need some, you know, checkpoint Charlie, COVID Karen asking for papers when even the government says, no, it's not necessary anymore.
00:04:32.620 Yeah.
00:04:32.760 It's one thing when the government makes you do it under, you know, threat of closing your business and ruining your life.
00:04:40.000 Yeah.
00:04:40.660 That's one thing.
00:04:41.800 But when you're doing this of your own free will, you're a total weirdo.
00:04:47.000 Yeah.
00:04:47.200 But I do like how they self-identify.
00:04:49.340 So I know not to go to shop at Total Weirdo's restaurant and bar because I'm not going to.
00:04:56.040 It's freaks.
00:04:57.940 Don't ask people about their medical history.
00:05:00.540 And that's a great point, too, Sheila.
00:05:02.320 There's plenty of restaurants, plenty of gyms, et cetera, et cetera, out there.
00:05:06.600 If you're going to take this hard line when you're not being forced to by government, I know the ones to avoid now.
00:05:13.260 I'll make my decisions based on my wallet.
00:05:17.640 Yeah.
00:05:17.800 Now, we should tell everybody what we're doing.
00:05:20.260 I said I was going to, but then I had things to say.
00:05:22.080 So this is the Rebel News daily live stream used to just be hosted on Friday, just hosted by the big boss man, Ezra Levant.
00:05:28.740 Although sometimes he makes guest appearances on the show and people really seem to enjoy that.
00:05:34.200 It used to also just be hosted on YouTube.
00:05:36.080 But then Joe Biden got elected.
00:05:37.960 Big tech didn't really have to pretend anymore.
00:05:39.720 And they just en masse demonetized a whole slate of conservative channels, ours being one of them.
00:05:46.400 Now, we had previously been deemed not advertiser friendly, but we were at least still then allowed to take super chats, which were your donations to us.
00:05:55.300 And we would read your paid comment on air.
00:05:56.940 But they decided that was, I guess, I don't know, too dangerous for us to interact with our friends and supporters.
00:06:05.560 But YouTube doesn't want us there, which is, you know, generally speaking, how you get more of me.
00:06:10.640 You kick me out of somewhere and I'm just showing up the next day with a big smile on my face.
00:06:14.600 So we're still on YouTube and we have, you know, 1.5, 1.6 million YouTube subscribers.
00:06:19.740 We don't want to abandon you.
00:06:21.280 But we would like to encourage you to maybe consider migrating over to another platform where you could watch us uncensored, because that's the thing about YouTube.
00:06:30.720 Sometimes we can't publish our videos in full over there.
00:06:33.400 We have to publish a trailer because they have these weird rules about what you can and can't say on YouTube.
00:06:38.980 And one of those things is questioning the advice of a public health officer as though they are the pope or something.
00:06:44.600 You can't blaspheme against them, even though they literally change their mind from day to day.
00:06:50.860 Yeah.
00:06:51.200 You can't question them.
00:06:53.340 It's crazy.
00:06:54.560 So we are on YouTube, but we will likely cut the feed at some point, especially since I'm co-hosting with David, because not only does David like run right up to the line and stick a toe over and then he puts his whole leg over.
00:07:06.120 And then all of a sudden he's doing the hokey pokey of maybe we're going to get Twitter or our YouTube page canceled altogether.
00:07:11.980 But we are also streaming on Odyssey, Super U and Rumble.
00:07:17.080 And those are great free speech platforms that allow you to support the work that we do completely willingly.
00:07:21.980 So on Odyssey, if you would like to leave a hyper chat, we'll read your paid chat on air.
00:07:28.900 On Super U, if you want to leave a Super U shout again, we'll read your paid chat on air.
00:07:33.820 Rumble, if you want to leave a Rumble rant, we'll read that on air.
00:07:36.560 It's a great way for us to interact with you, see where your mind's at on certain issues, but support the work that we do completely willingly.
00:07:43.860 Unlike what Justin Trudeau does with the mainstream media, where he's just like, you know what, you know, CBC and they're making that unwatchable garbage where they just call everybody a racist.
00:07:52.640 You're paying for that, whether you like it or not.
00:07:54.520 And the final platform that we're streaming on is Getter.
00:07:58.820 Great free speech social media.
00:08:01.060 We're over there, too.
00:08:01.740 So if you're watching us on Getter, I think this is our third.
00:08:04.760 We're approaching the end of our third week live streaming on Getter.
00:08:07.620 I think it's going well.
00:08:08.640 And if you're watching us on Getter, welcome.
00:08:11.140 Nice to have you.
00:08:11.880 So I think that's all the nuts and bolts.
00:08:13.500 I don't know, guys in the studio.
00:08:15.700 Are we on Instagram or Twitter today?
00:08:17.740 Or is that just too dangerous?
00:08:21.300 Not today.
00:08:22.200 Perfect.
00:08:22.540 Yeah, we're not there.
00:08:24.520 You mentioned CBC, Sheila.
00:08:26.760 The other day I saw an ad for CBC Gem.
00:08:30.220 I guess that's some specialized online service.
00:08:32.920 I think it's been around for us.
00:08:33.480 That's your streaming service.
00:08:34.460 Yeah.
00:08:35.180 Do you know, first of all, I've never seen anything on CBC Gem.
00:08:40.400 I would like to put that out to our audience.
00:08:42.660 Has anyone ever tuned in?
00:08:44.080 And I mean, there's a suggestion there that the gem, the good stuff is on CBC Gem as opposed to the crap stuff that we already pay our taxpayer dollars to fund.
00:08:55.960 So I'm just wondering, because I don't know anyone that's ever tuned in to CBC Gem.
00:09:04.060 10-year-old Tom.
00:09:06.180 I guess, is it a kid's?
00:09:07.720 I'm looking at this too.
00:09:08.840 I've never visited the website.
00:09:10.620 But the only thing that I would remotely be interested in watching is Murdoch Mysteries, but I can get that on Netflix.
00:09:18.260 And then the Alberta Premier making a health announcement.
00:09:23.780 Well, we have this thing called Your Alberta, which is the government's YouTube channel.
00:09:27.660 I'll just go over there and watch it.
00:09:29.480 Or on Jason Kenney's Facebook page or on his Twitter or wherever.
00:09:33.440 I don't know why I need CBC to do this.
00:09:36.260 The National, unwatchable.
00:09:37.760 Like, look at all the platforms where The National is.
00:09:41.400 So it's in everybody's home, whether you want it or not.
00:09:44.440 It's on all the cable services.
00:09:45.740 I think it's on YouTube, too.
00:09:48.560 And it's on CBC Gem.
00:09:50.040 And still people don't watch it.
00:09:52.380 Yeah.
00:09:52.620 And you know what, Sheila?
00:09:53.620 I got to tell you, I'm not a fan of Murdoch Mysteries based on just one thing.
00:09:57.040 Not any episode.
00:09:58.480 But remember when last year we went to Murdoch Mysteries being filmed in Peterborough and nobody was wearing masks and nobody was social distancing.
00:10:08.620 Meanwhile, we received tickets for doing journalism of a freedom rally a year ago, April, in Peterborough.
00:10:18.480 And part of the officer's submissions on my ticket, and I think the ticket was for, I might be wrong, but it was for $1,650.
00:10:26.360 They had surveillance photos of me shaking hands and laughing.
00:10:35.160 But you can't do that.
00:10:37.640 You maniac.
00:10:38.620 Oh, I know.
00:10:39.500 You know, I'm like a serial killer.
00:10:41.200 But you can't do that if you're an actual person in the city of Peterborough, but you can shake hands and laugh on the set of Murdoch Mysteries being filmed in Peterborough.
00:10:53.940 It's kind of like what you said before, Sheila, during the height of the lockdowns, couldn't go to church.
00:10:59.680 But if there was a film set depicting a church, the actors could go to church.
00:11:06.280 It's science, folks.
00:11:08.080 Science.
00:11:08.920 Follow the science.
00:11:10.120 I've never seen any of this stuff.
00:11:12.500 Like, I think I've seen Ripper Street.
00:11:15.640 I think that was on Netflix for a time and then it was removed from Netflix.
00:11:18.520 So why do I have to watch it on CBC Gem?
00:11:20.820 Do I have to pay for this stuff?
00:11:22.620 Because I'm pretty sure I paid for it already.
00:11:24.680 That's a great question.
00:11:25.960 I'm scared to create an account, though, because I don't want to give them my information.
00:11:30.420 I already have enough information on me.
00:11:32.300 But I don't I don't know.
00:11:35.020 Like, it's got all the local news channels and the cartoons.
00:11:40.800 I don't know.
00:11:41.960 Let's see.
00:11:42.340 What is this thing?
00:11:44.200 Family Feud Canada.
00:11:45.700 That's I don't recognize the title of any.
00:11:49.200 I mean, well, there's so many channels out there, but I don't recognize.
00:11:52.860 Oh, no.
00:11:53.200 Sorry.
00:11:54.080 Coronation Street.
00:11:54.940 That's still going.
00:11:56.520 Is Coronation Street on there?
00:12:00.180 That's British, though.
00:12:02.380 Yeah.
00:12:02.880 Hello, lovey.
00:12:04.380 I'll watch it on the BBC.
00:12:05.860 Why am I going to watch it on CBC Gem?
00:12:08.680 I don't know any of this stuff.
00:12:10.220 Like, it's run the burbs.
00:12:11.660 Like, popular on Gem.
00:12:13.280 What does that mean?
00:12:13.860 All of the Office.
00:12:14.360 OK, I've heard of Office.
00:12:15.700 Click on it.
00:12:16.140 OK.
00:12:16.700 In a day?
00:12:18.680 22 minutes.
00:12:19.600 Oh, when was the last time anybody watched that?
00:12:21.680 But I thought that's on the main network.
00:12:23.560 Like, are they just putting stuff on Gem that you can get on CBC Classic?
00:12:31.100 The Office UK.
00:12:32.200 Is there anything from this century?
00:12:36.980 Anyways, I could go through this all day.
00:12:38.620 It's almost as bad as Canadian Netflix.
00:12:42.280 Oh, Canadian Netflix is terrible.
00:12:45.720 Yeah.
00:12:46.140 Anyway.
00:12:46.800 We severed the cord on that one last month.
00:12:48.900 But anyhow.
00:12:49.580 So, Sheila, as we alluded to, this is a day of liberty, well, depending on where you go in Ontario,
00:12:58.080 in terms of the vaccination passport for COVID-19.
00:13:02.420 And there are other provinces rolling back the restrictions here and there.
00:13:08.800 But I notice near where you live, the city of Edmonton is keeping the mask mandate in place.
00:13:17.120 What's the story there, Sheila?
00:13:19.080 I said this to Adam yesterday.
00:13:20.760 This is why municipal politics matter.
00:13:23.620 As conservatives, we're usually like, yeah, I'll focus on provincial stuff.
00:13:27.800 I'll focus on federal stuff.
00:13:29.780 But this stuff gets you first.
00:13:32.580 This is why you need to care about what happens at the school board, what happens at municipal politics,
00:13:37.060 because you end up, as it has been through the entire pandemic, this patchwork quilt of restrictions.
00:13:43.700 And even though the vax pass is gone in Alberta and almost all of our restrictions are gone,
00:13:48.840 gathering limits were lifted, food service restrictions lifted, masks lifted province-wide.
00:13:57.260 Edmonton, Alberta, where they banned honking.
00:14:00.380 Where the mayor is, Justin Trudeau's former natural resources minister,
00:14:04.700 who was appointed not because he knew anything about natural resources,
00:14:07.740 but because he was one of but a handful of liberals elected in the West in 2015.
00:14:11.920 Amarjeet Sohi, he's the mayor now, after he lost his seat in Edmonton Millwoods.
00:14:17.220 He is the mayor there, and he is hanging on to this mask thing with both hands.
00:14:22.680 So they've decided to keep the mask thing until active COVID-19 cases,
00:14:29.780 cases for the city of Edmonton remain below 100 per 100,000 population for 28 consecutive days.
00:14:36.660 We're never going to achieve that.
00:14:38.040 I don't think you're ever going to achieve that.
00:14:39.180 It shouldn't be hospitalizations again, not just positive cases, right?
00:14:46.520 Oh, I agree.
00:14:47.460 And I think it's all about symbolism now.
00:14:50.660 Now, you know, the big boss man came to this conclusion about a year ago, Sheila.
00:14:57.260 And it's kind of like this.
00:14:58.940 Much as a Christian will wear a cross, much as a Sikh will wear a turban,
00:15:05.260 a Muslim lady would wear the hijab, it's basically you're advertising,
00:15:12.680 you know, I'm on Team Christianity, I'm on Team Sikhism, I'm on Team Islam, etc.
00:15:17.520 And I think, Sheila, for the people by this stage of the pandemic that are wearing masks,
00:15:24.860 this is a symbol.
00:15:26.020 And what it's saying is we're pro-big government, we're pro-lockdown,
00:15:30.980 we're pro-being told what to do.
00:15:33.100 And the amazing thing is, you know, without doing any research, but based on my observations,
00:15:39.580 it looks like the biggest contingency that goes for this, you know, wearing the mask
00:15:46.800 are those who are hard left and the kids on campus who, of course, have been indoctrinated.
00:15:55.060 But yeah, what am I saying?
00:15:56.080 Same thing.
00:15:57.340 You're repeating yourself.
00:15:57.980 Half a dozen or six.
00:15:59.280 What's the difference?
00:16:00.000 So I think that's what we're seeing now, Sheila, especially since, well, no,
00:16:05.860 I was going to say something, but we're still on YouTube.
00:16:08.400 But that's what I see.
00:16:10.040 So when you see Edmonton City Council being pro-mask, what they're really saying is
00:16:14.820 we're pro-getting-in-your-grill, we're pro-control, we're pro-big government.
00:16:22.040 And what you alluded to earlier is so true.
00:16:24.660 T'was ever thus, Sheila, that when it comes to election participation, the lowest turnouts
00:16:32.020 are for municipal elections compared to federal and provincial elections.
00:16:36.020 And I say, why?
00:16:38.040 If you think of a level of government that affects you most directly, picking up your garbage,
00:16:44.080 making sure you're getting water and electricity, the school boards, as you mentioned, you might
00:16:51.380 want to keep a note of who are becoming trustees, because the next thing you know, the kids are
00:16:57.260 being taught critical race theory.
00:16:59.480 You should pay attention to this.
00:17:02.040 It's extremely important in terms of this is the level of government that affects you the
00:17:07.200 most on a daily basis.
00:17:09.160 Sheila, I don't know why people tune out when it comes to municipal politics.
00:17:15.220 The culture war starts right at municipal politics.
00:17:18.840 In the schools, for example, the city of Ottawa, which remains one of the worst places in the
00:17:25.400 country, they, I think, have an enormous, like billions, tens of billions of dollars, green
00:17:32.580 energy, green shift program, where they're moving everything to green energy and electric bus,
00:17:38.160 electric buses in Ottawa, by the way, like a northern city.
00:17:41.240 Good luck.
00:17:42.940 But they're like people think, OK, I have to worry about Justin Trudeau's carbon tax or
00:17:47.220 Jason Kenney's carbon tax or Aaron O'Toole's carbon tax.
00:17:50.540 No, the one that you're going to pay for first is the one municipally when you consider the
00:17:57.340 cost of recycling, which is the biggest scam ever.
00:18:01.580 You know, the switching to carbon offsets for all the municipal buildings.
00:18:06.540 And when you think about the enormity of a rec center and now you're buying carbon offsets
00:18:10.100 for that.
00:18:10.860 Why?
00:18:12.080 You're just wasting money at that point.
00:18:14.020 And it's not your money to waste.
00:18:15.660 So people really have to pay attention to municipal politics.
00:18:18.340 And Edmonton is ridiculous.
00:18:20.060 They've always been ridiculous.
00:18:23.620 Ralph Klein said it was a beautiful city with too many mosquitoes and socialists.
00:18:27.300 And that remains true.
00:18:28.220 Um, they had a sort of like a NDP Green Party mayor before this, and now they have a deep
00:18:35.000 liberal mayor, which is, I mean, basically the same thing because Justin Trudeau outflanks
00:18:39.640 the NDP and the Greens on a lot of far left issues.
00:18:42.800 But how stupid is this?
00:18:45.120 I'm going to dance around this because we have to sort of be careful about what we say
00:18:50.140 because we're still on YouTube.
00:18:51.120 But just so you realize how the science is working here.
00:18:55.920 And this is not a public health officer thing.
00:18:58.420 So I think I might be okay.
00:18:59.700 What is going on with my shirt here?
00:19:00.880 I think I might be okay.
00:19:02.360 Um, because this was just like an act of counsel, which they, none of them are the public health
00:19:09.480 officer there.
00:19:10.720 And they're only now asking for public input.
00:19:14.000 So they did this thing and then they're like, oh yeah, maybe we should ask the citizens what
00:19:17.300 they want.
00:19:17.660 But it's literally a highway on the east side of Edmonton between Edmonton and Strathcona
00:19:25.580 County.
00:19:26.080 It's a highway and the refineries, but the highway is sort of the dividing line.
00:19:31.180 So COVID can't get across the highway.
00:19:35.260 How does that work?
00:19:36.960 You know, so you can like live, you can work in Edmonton, live in Sherwood Park where tons
00:19:42.580 of people do that.
00:19:43.580 It's kind of a bedroom community, but not really because it has the refineries.
00:19:46.380 But people work in Edmonton, wear a mask all day, then come home, do their grocery shopping,
00:19:50.940 take their kids out, go to the gym mask free because science COVID cannot get across the
00:19:57.700 hen day.
00:19:58.500 It's magical.
00:19:59.400 It's like Frogger trying to get across the highway.
00:20:03.800 You know, Sheila, you know, I can't help but think of how perverse it is that we keep
00:20:10.020 self-censoring ourselves while we're on YouTube because the censorious thugs at YouTube.
00:20:16.700 What is going on with my shirt?
00:20:17.680 I'm all tangled up in my own clothes.
00:20:19.340 Sorry.
00:20:20.640 But, you know, and I can't help but think it's almost like we're on a first date.
00:20:25.400 You know, don't want to say anything inappropriate.
00:20:28.100 Don't want to quite lean in yet for that peck on the cheek.
00:20:31.580 I mean, I feel the shackles on my wrist in terms of what I really want to say.
00:20:38.160 I think you feel the same way.
00:20:39.940 So anytime you want to say goodbye to YouTube, that's great.
00:20:43.740 Now, we can't talk about coronavirus stuff on YouTube to a great extent, folks, but I
00:20:50.500 think we can still talk about the Nazis.
00:20:52.880 And lo and behold, an Edmonton MP under fire.
00:20:57.540 No, no.
00:20:57.720 Let's go back.
00:20:59.360 We got to go back a little.
00:21:00.980 Okay.
00:21:01.160 The reason I brought him up is because he's my benchmark for how the mainstream media asks.
00:21:07.300 That's why I put it in the chat.
00:21:08.760 So let's go to Chrystia Freeland first.
00:21:11.420 Oh, okay.
00:21:12.100 Chrystia Freeland, son of mother or daughter of mother Ukraine.
00:21:16.920 So Chrystia Freeland, she fancies herself to be, I mean, she's on team blue and yellow.
00:21:23.280 Good for her.
00:21:23.880 But Freeland, maybe we could throw up this from True North, caught holding a pro-Nazi
00:21:30.520 banner at a Ukrainian protest.
00:21:32.760 Now, what does that actually say on that banner, Sheila?
00:21:36.540 Because it's not in English, is it?
00:21:38.440 Right.
00:21:38.820 So the scarf is promoting a far-right Ukrainian nationalist movement that is linked to neo-Nazis,
00:21:50.480 like actual neo-Nazis, not like CBC's neo-Nazis, where everybody who doesn't agree with Justin
00:21:55.020 Trudeau is a neo-Nazi.
00:21:56.320 These guys are like, this is the land of the white people kind of thing.
00:22:00.100 And John Tory's there, too.
00:22:04.760 And she posted the picture of her holding it to her Instagram and her Twitter.
00:22:15.060 And I joked that maybe it's her family heirloom, right?
00:22:20.080 Because her grandfather was a Nazi collaborator in Ukraine.
00:22:24.220 So I'm like, what was that?
00:22:25.560 Is that like her family scarf?
00:22:26.860 It's an heirloom she brought out.
00:22:28.580 But anyway.
00:22:29.500 He wrote pro-Nazi propaganda during the Second World War, did he not?
00:22:34.460 Yes.
00:22:34.860 His newspaper collaborated with the Nazis.
00:22:38.480 Yeah.
00:22:38.780 So the red and black flag and the scarf that she was holding has historically represented
00:22:43.000 the Bandera movement in Ukraine.
00:22:45.020 Stepan Bandera was a nationalist Ukrainian politician during the Second World War who
00:22:50.380 was accused of war crimes and leading atrocities against the Jewish and Polish people.
00:22:56.000 And Freeland, they gave her the scarf and she held the scarf.
00:23:00.140 Here's the thing, Sheila, to play devil's advocate here.
00:23:03.700 Do you think she knew about this organization, what that scarf is tied to?
00:23:09.300 Or was she making an honest mistake that she just figured this was some rallying cry for
00:23:15.940 standing with Ukraine?
00:23:17.940 I think she didn't know any better.
00:23:20.420 But that's also embarrassing because she was our foreign affairs minister.
00:23:25.260 So not just our foreign affairs minister, but the foreign affairs minister of Ukrainian
00:23:32.520 dissent who fancies herself to be this expert on Europe and European policies and accuses
00:23:39.080 everybody else of neo-Nazism.
00:23:41.520 Good point.
00:23:41.980 So how do you not know the neo-Nazis under your own bed, sister?
00:23:47.260 But she quickly deleted it.
00:23:48.920 No apologies.
00:23:50.200 Nothing.
00:23:51.760 Yeah.
00:23:52.520 I forget.
00:23:53.720 It's like that season of Dallas that never happened.
00:23:56.820 Bobby's still alive.
00:23:58.120 Just came out of the shower.
00:23:59.980 Yeah, he was just in the shower.
00:24:00.980 So we do.
00:24:01.280 So Candace Malcolm from True North makes a great point here.
00:24:04.320 She says, are we supposed to believe that Chrystia Freeland is ignorant to the historic
00:24:08.180 red and black association with the nationalist paramilitary Bandera movement?
00:24:12.180 Went to savvy journalist, which she fancies herself to be, and astute international player
00:24:17.020 not know to take or post a photo with this scarf.
00:24:21.360 So I think she's not as smart as she thinks she is.
00:24:24.780 And the good news for her is, but not everybody else, is that the mainstream media doesn't seem
00:24:31.720 to care.
00:24:32.680 Because you can have a fed, a plant guy walk through a crowd of 100,000 with a far right
00:24:43.160 flag.
00:24:43.620 And that entire movement is painted as far right all of a sudden.
00:24:47.520 But a politician literally holding the scarf of an actual neo-Nazi movement?
00:24:54.960 No big deal.
00:24:56.080 Just tweet and delete.
00:24:57.460 No big deal.
00:24:57.980 And the reason I included Michael Cooper in this, excuse me, is because CBC lost its mind
00:25:07.340 when Michael Cooper was photographed near an upside down Canadian flag with a swastika
00:25:18.840 on it when he gave an interview at a protest in Ottawa on the weekend.
00:25:22.620 So if you see how far away he is from that, and CBC's interviewing him.
00:25:32.040 So CBC would have positioned him there so that they could get that image behind him.
00:25:38.300 So CBC, this is a hit piece from start to finish.
00:25:40.820 He's probably way the heck over here.
00:25:42.480 The CBC chase producer said, you know what, Michael, stand right here.
00:25:45.720 The interviewer is going to stand right here.
00:25:47.860 And that's the shot that they wanted.
00:25:50.220 They staged it.
00:25:51.520 And this, I think, I wouldn't say this person's a Nazi, although I've never talked to them.
00:25:57.120 But I think they're saying, like, how the Canadian government is behaving is fascistic.
00:26:03.060 It's not the way that I would express my dismay at the way the Canadian government is behaving.
00:26:07.720 But I would probably suggest that that's the meaning here.
00:26:10.780 I'm not making apologies for this guy.
00:26:12.440 But you know what CBC could have done?
00:26:15.040 Go talk to him and ask him.
00:26:17.320 But they didn't do that.
00:26:18.320 They were just happy to do a hit piece on Michael Cooper.
00:26:20.280 And Michael Cooper's got to apologize to, uh, I think he had to apologize to, um, oh boy.
00:26:30.800 Uh, two different mayors.
00:26:32.240 It sounds like, uh, last, uh, he apologized to Edmonton mayor, Amrajit Sohi, who rung an apology out of him on behalf of Justin Trudeau and St.
00:26:41.500 Albert mayor, given like where his riding is that encompasses St. Albert, Kathy Heron, um, what they wanted him to apologize.
00:26:49.300 So he did, but I don't know how he has anything to do with this.
00:26:53.060 Wait a minute.
00:26:53.460 Apologize for what, Sheila?
00:26:55.400 I don't know.
00:26:55.900 Being, having CBC have that in the background.
00:26:59.500 Yeah.
00:26:59.720 For being like, what, 300 meters within the vicinity of, uh, uh, uh, uh, you know, a defaced Canadian flag.
00:27:06.460 But you know what?
00:27:07.280 I shouldn't be surprised, Sheila.
00:27:08.760 You don't even need a visual, uh, symbol to get the left, uh, mental, uh, look at that, uh, liberal MP that says, um, honking your horn.
00:27:18.840 Honk honk is actually code, audible code for Heil Hitler.
00:27:22.860 You know, poor, poor Ezra.
00:27:25.960 That poor woman, her head's broken.
00:27:27.720 Yeah.
00:27:27.900 That's his writing that she, and, uh, um, and as Ezra said, um, has done the near impossible.
00:27:34.280 Uh, and that is become a dumber MP than Seamus O'Regan.
00:27:41.140 That's what I was thinking.
00:27:42.220 There's a lot of MPs giving Seamus O'Regan a run for his money.
00:27:46.340 Wow.
00:27:46.720 He's still, he's still holding onto the title, but there are a lot of dumb MPs nipping at his heels for the dumbest MP.
00:27:52.660 In Canada.
00:27:54.320 Honk honk is Heil Hitler.
00:27:56.680 I guess I'll never use my horn again.
00:27:58.880 Downtown traffic.
00:28:00.500 Do you know what?
00:28:01.040 Imagine the mental state of that poor woman.
00:28:03.180 Like at first I was like, this broad is ridiculous.
00:28:06.080 But then imagine like you're driving in traffic and every time you hear a horn honk, it's like someone screaming at her Heil Hitler.
00:28:15.440 It's like somebody doing a Roman salute.
00:28:17.440 She's driving around thinking that she has a tool of Nazism right in the steering column that GM or Ford or whoever, somebody in an auto plant somewhere is being forced to install these tools of white supremacy into all the vehicles.
00:28:35.340 The mental state of this woman, she's got to be a basket case.
00:28:39.260 Well, you know, that's why I interviewed that goose near the Ambassador Bridge, Sheila, that was just walking around with a bandana on.
00:28:47.420 But of course, she would condemn that goose for goose stepping.
00:28:51.880 See what I did there?
00:28:53.620 Good job, David.
00:28:54.440 Put a pat on the back there.
00:28:55.700 Yes, David.
00:28:57.940 Before we move on to other things, because we've got a victory lap for you and I to take around Patrick Brown.
00:29:06.000 But before we get to that, I just want to remind you that while Ontario is removing its Vax Pass, except for the creepy weirdos who are planning to keep it in place.
00:29:18.220 We have to bring back weirdo.
00:29:22.120 I first heard you use that phrase in Israel at that incredible Air Force demonstration where there was an incredible lack of weirdos to use.
00:29:33.760 Yeah, it was startling.
00:29:35.180 I know.
00:29:35.900 I mean, it's so 70s, weirdo.
00:29:37.940 We've got to bring it back, Sheila.
00:29:40.040 Yeah, we should.
00:29:41.560 But as you know, Ontario is reopening.
00:29:47.220 We're removing the Vax Pass.
00:29:48.740 I wouldn't say reopening.
00:29:50.120 But at the same time, don't get your hopes up, friend, because Ontario has extended emergency powers granted to police to help clear blockades resulting from protests against COVID-19 measures.
00:29:59.500 So if you get a little too frisky and you're like, I don't want to wear a mask anymore, let's let's have a protest.
00:30:05.160 Send in the riot cops, send in the tear gas, send in the horses, get your trample on, I guess, is what Doug Ford.
00:30:12.640 You know, like after you've seen the police behave so poorly and so out of control, a normal person's first reflex would be like, whoa, we need to dial back the powers these people have.
00:30:24.500 Doug Ford went the other way.
00:30:25.660 He's like, you know what?
00:30:26.980 Let's let him keep it.
00:30:28.020 And give them whatever they feel like.
00:30:31.060 And Sheila, I can tell you firsthand, because not the weekend just passed, but the weekend past that, I was in Ottawa with the team.
00:30:42.140 And once the demonstration was shut down, the protesters were gone, the trucks were driven out of town.
00:30:47.440 I can tell you folks that the access in and around the city was demonstrably worse than when the demonstrators were there.
00:30:58.460 They the police fenced off three layers of streets towards Parliament Hill.
00:31:03.780 So you can't even get to Parliament Hill.
00:31:06.900 That was not the case when the demonstration was there.
00:31:10.420 Any kind of travel time you have in Ottawa, if it's a seven minute drive, factor in about a half an hour.
00:31:16.240 You're going to be stopped at one of maybe a hundred Checkpoint Charlies and they're asking their papers.
00:31:22.180 And if you're from out of town, a hotel confirmation isn't good enough anymore.
00:31:26.300 Now the cops call the front desk.
00:31:28.300 And even if it's minus 20 and you're cold and tired and hungry and thirsty and have to use a bathroom.
00:31:35.360 Yeah, I'm talking about me.
00:31:37.240 Officer Dyke, that's a real officer with the OPP, still wants to double check that you are legitimately staying at a particular hotel.
00:31:49.260 So there's also cement roadblocks at major intersections, which again contributes to the longer travel times of commuters.
00:32:01.760 So Sheila, basically what this Emergencies Act did was it traded one blockade that was far more accessible for another blockade implemented by the state that is making getting around town miserable.
00:32:16.460 And I got to tell you, it is a police state.
00:32:20.340 I mean, all those cops, right?
00:32:23.080 All those checkpoints, all the verification of information.
00:32:27.020 And I got to tell you, Sheila, when I was there with Lincoln Jay, when we ran into Officer Dyke, we showed her our media credentials.
00:32:34.120 We showed our equipment, our recording equipment.
00:32:37.500 And no, it wasn't good enough.
00:32:39.380 She knows we're not truckers.
00:32:40.840 She knows we're not demonstrators.
00:32:42.460 She knows we're not allies of the Freedom Convoy.
00:32:45.140 We're journalists.
00:32:46.020 And I always wonder, Sheila, if that had been Rosemary Barton en route to Spark Street to CBC headquarters, well, with a stopover to Nate's delicatessen first, of course, would she be given the gears?
00:33:03.780 And there you have our lovely Alexa Lavoie, the lioness of Quebec City.
00:33:10.140 By the way, folks, you might recall, we went to a press conference where interim police chief Steve Bell was unaware of Alexa being shot point blank with some kind of a canister.
00:33:24.040 Yeah, because it was, as Sheila said, impossible.
00:33:28.180 Half an hour before that press conference, even RT, Russia Television, was interviewing Alexa and did a far more fair job than anybody in the mainstream media, let me tell you.
00:33:38.540 In the days since, I've been reaching out by voicemail and email to the Ottawa Police Service to find out if an investigation is underway, because that's really serious stuff when an officer, you know, discharges a weapon.
00:33:57.220 And they are so unprofessional that they won't return my calls.
00:34:02.120 Meanwhile, Chief Bell ended that press conference, and you couldn't write this, folks, even if you tried, noting that there has been multiple investigations launched regarding mainstream media journalists who suffered some verbal abuse and slurs.
00:34:18.400 So, you know, nasty language, that kind of a thought crime, that goes right to the top of the agenda with the Ottawa Police Service.
00:34:28.000 But a female journalist shot point blank, and she suffered a bad injury, Sheila.
00:34:33.860 I mean, her thigh was so...
00:34:35.040 It could have been a hell of a lot worse, too.
00:34:37.000 Oh, I'm telling you, if that was at her head, I think the conversation is really different right now, right?
00:34:43.160 And nothing to see here, folks.
00:34:46.940 Move along, move along.
00:34:47.920 But the point I'm getting to, Sheila, Chief Bell and the Ottawa Police Service can no longer employ the Sergeant Schultz mode of operations.
00:34:57.720 I know nothing.
00:34:58.800 I saw nothing because they do know and they have seen the footage.
00:35:03.800 So shame on them.
00:35:06.620 And those checkpoints are still up in Ottawa.
00:35:10.000 For what?
00:35:10.620 Because these authoritarian maniacs don't want to give the power back.
00:35:14.840 I'm looking at a conservative MP right now.
00:35:17.900 It's on his personal Facebook page, so I don't want to say because I'm friends with him and I have icky rebel cooties.
00:35:24.480 But he can't get around town.
00:35:26.660 He's posting pictures of himself to his personal Facebook.
00:35:29.100 Again, I don't want to say of him, like, holding on to the fence grates, saying, like, I can't get through.
00:35:36.260 And he's got to go through checkpoints.
00:35:37.900 He posted a photo where he looks like he's in jail.
00:35:40.560 And if you sent me to Ottawa, I would feel like I was in jail every single day.
00:35:43.700 So I relate to his pain.
00:35:46.600 But they're still up.
00:35:48.020 Why?
00:35:48.500 Yeah.
00:35:49.420 Why?
00:35:50.240 Well, when I was walking around those fences, Sheila, I was having a Ronald Reagan moment.
00:35:54.480 You know, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.
00:35:57.420 Mr. Trudeau, tear down these fences.
00:36:01.380 Everyone's out of town.
00:36:02.400 There's not an 18-wheeler there.
00:36:05.340 And by the way, folks, if you are going to Ottawa and you are driving a rig or a pickup truck, don't display a Canadian flag.
00:36:15.060 You are going to be profiled and you are going to be given the gears by Ottawa's finest.
00:36:19.940 That's who they are cherry-picking right now.
00:36:23.100 So if you have love for Canada or Great Dominion and you're driving a certain kind of vehicle, you're screwed in Ottawa.
00:36:29.560 They're going to give you a ticket, maybe even impound your vehicle.
00:36:34.140 Based on what?
00:36:35.160 Well, based on, you know, like Minority Report, Sheila, from 2002, the Tom Cruise film, the pre-crimes unit.
00:36:42.580 Remember that?
00:36:43.000 We get our information from psychics.
00:36:46.660 And we really think you might maybe commit this crime.
00:36:49.760 So we'll just arrest and convict you and get it out of the way before any bad stuff happens.
00:36:55.080 Unbelievable.
00:36:56.500 Yeah, I wonder how many psychics are on the payroll down at the Ottawa Police Service.
00:37:01.520 Well, they're psychos.
00:37:03.680 Psychics?
00:37:04.200 I don't know.
00:37:06.160 I'm just looking at these pictures from the MP who shall not be named because, again, I've got rebel cooties.
00:37:10.660 But it looks like a zombie movie down there.
00:37:14.200 Just like it's fences up to keep the zombies in or out.
00:37:18.160 I can't tell.
00:37:19.160 Everything is completely abandoned.
00:37:22.300 It looks horrible.
00:37:25.100 But that has me thinking maybe there is a bit of a zombie virus out there.
00:37:30.520 Olivia, I know I'm sort of springing this on you, but can you bring up that video of Joe Biden shuffling his way across the lawn at the White House?
00:37:39.680 Because that's immediately what I saw.
00:37:42.940 He's just like lifting up his feet weird and walking like this across the lawn at the White House.
00:37:48.900 I was like, is the next variant the zombie variant?
00:37:52.760 Because if so, he's patient zero.
00:37:55.560 Yeah.
00:37:55.840 Sheila, I'll tell you something.
00:37:57.060 When I was in Ottawa, and I'm not exaggerating, I swear to God, folks,
00:38:00.640 you could film an episode of The Walking Dead without getting, you know, the police or security to cordon off areas for filming.
00:38:09.700 There were – and I'm talking right downtown Ottawa, right?
00:38:14.440 Yeah.
00:38:14.540 You know, like Bank and Queen Street.
00:38:17.280 You know, it was desolate.
00:38:20.400 And it's – to think our national capital, you know, it's almost as though they wanted, Sheila, a so-called siege,
00:38:30.060 an insurrection like January 6th from last year in terms of justifying this.
00:38:38.400 And thank goodness for the protesters, there were no shenanigans like storming Parliament Hill or the Supreme Court
00:38:45.800 or you name any other national building that is down there, Sheila.
00:38:49.940 And it must have made the politicians and the mainstream media so frustrated
00:38:55.040 because they were waiting for that insurrection moment that never happened.
00:39:01.120 Yep.
00:39:02.080 Do we have that video?
00:39:03.060 We do.
00:39:04.220 Look at this.
00:39:05.420 I just love how he sort of comes out of nowhere, too.
00:39:07.780 President, is he praying winning the war?
00:39:10.840 Look at him.
00:39:14.640 Gray.
00:39:15.680 Why is he wearing a mask?
00:39:17.620 He's so tired.
00:39:18.220 President, are you worried about nuclear war?
00:39:25.380 Brains.
00:39:26.720 Brains.
00:39:36.420 And then he just disappears.
00:39:41.540 It's like a Sasquatch sighting or something.
00:39:44.000 Like, and he's just – and then he shuffles up the other side.
00:39:46.420 I just – that's my favorite part.
00:39:48.220 I think that missing seven seconds of footage, that's when they put his body double in, Sheila.
00:39:54.020 That's my theory.
00:39:55.120 But you know what?
00:39:55.600 Look at the good side.
00:39:56.420 I thought he was going to veer left to that playground and go down the slide or something.
00:40:03.020 I just – like, look, it's like when your grandpa wanders away from the nursing home and they catch him.
00:40:09.180 Bring him back in the house and close the door.
00:40:10.820 He's not right.
00:40:13.620 He's not right.
00:40:14.620 And –
00:40:15.620 We shouldn't be laughing.
00:40:17.180 We really shouldn't.
00:40:18.460 No.
00:40:18.680 Someone should be reporting the Democrats or at least his wife for elder abuse.
00:40:22.920 No wonder Putin struck.
00:40:26.040 You know, don't even get me started.
00:40:27.940 You know, Sheila, is President Biden going to make it to the end of the term?
00:40:33.140 And I don't mean – I don't mean politically being voted out of office.
00:40:37.040 I mean just physically being able to show up for work.
00:40:41.840 I'm unclear.
00:40:43.040 I'm not sure.
00:40:44.280 I wouldn't bet on it.
00:40:46.600 What is this?
00:40:48.120 Oh, something coming in, Sheila?
00:40:50.000 No, I'm just looking ahead to one of the super chats.
00:40:53.440 Oh, well, you know what?
00:40:54.700 Good point.
00:40:56.340 But before we do that, let's talk about a little victory lap that you and I need to take around sneaky Patrick Brown.
00:41:07.660 And you want to talk about authoritarian mayors.
00:41:11.060 One right there.
00:41:12.900 Unbelievable.
00:41:13.720 He was the OG.
00:41:17.040 Do we have that –
00:41:19.060 Dave Rubin.
00:41:20.120 Video queued up, Mrs. Producer?
00:41:23.040 Or is it Ms. Producer?
00:41:26.580 Ms.
00:41:27.160 Okay, she's going to look for it.
00:41:28.700 Yeah, you might recall, folks, Patrick Brown, who shut down all the playgrounds and the sports fields and the baseball diamonds in Brampton
00:41:39.340 and then hired a security company to spy on those facilities in case a kid did go and kick a soccer ball in the field.
00:41:48.640 The security guards don't have the ability to write a fine, but they would immediately phone Brampton bylaw and they would come like Batman and Robin to dispatch fines to kids or their parents.
00:42:01.100 While this was going on in the name of COVID in 2020, sneaky Patrick Brown, that losing loser, that shameless skirt chaser, that crying crybaby, that lying liar,
00:42:14.580 him and his buddies were at a city-owned hockey facility playing ice hockey as all the children of Brampton were deprived of any kind of recreation.
00:42:27.240 And we were tipped off by someone in Brampton.
00:42:31.960 Here's the rink.
00:42:32.920 Here's what time he's playing.
00:42:34.780 We didn't know if it was bogus or not, but you know what?
00:42:37.360 Like we always do, Sheila, we go out and check it out because we're from Missouri, you know, the show-me state.
00:42:43.440 I want to see proof of this.
00:42:45.420 Oh, boy.
00:42:46.480 And I mean, Lincoln J., that was his first day on the job.
00:42:50.500 And what an assignment.
00:42:52.780 He couldn't believe it either.
00:42:54.060 So I'll shut up and I'll let the video do the talking.
00:42:58.400 They're not used to people pushing back when they are lawfully acting and not in violation of the Trespass the Property Act.
00:43:08.340 And so that's why they sent so many officers is they weren't used to anybody pushing back.
00:43:13.300 And thankfully you did.
00:43:14.700 You got your story done.
00:43:16.200 And now you've been found not guilty of all charges.
00:43:18.660 Hey, sports fans.
00:43:23.120 We finally have an update to the Patrick Brown hockey night in Brampton saga.
00:43:28.260 Now, Brown is the man who was this close to becoming Ontario Premier until a palace coup orchestrated by his own party ousted him as leader of the Progressive Conservatives.
00:43:40.280 Thank God.
00:43:41.080 Brown is currently the mayor of Brampton and like so many other cities during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brampton's playgrounds and sports fields, well, they were close to the kids.
00:43:52.720 But Mayor Brown, well, he sneakily used a city run ice facility so that he and his Barry buddies could play pickup hockey.
00:44:04.000 Talk about chutzpah.
00:44:06.720 Now, for those who may have missed this outrageous example of one law for me and one law for thee, please check out the video evidence when we caught Brown red-handed.
00:44:19.120 We're getting the bums rush, but holy mackerel, I think I see Patrick Brown himself.
00:44:25.920 Oh, hey, how you doing?
00:44:28.180 Mr. Brown, right?
00:44:29.720 Yeah.
00:44:30.600 David Menzies with Rebel News.
00:44:31.840 You're in a city facility?
00:44:34.140 What's that?
00:44:34.600 You're in a city facility?
00:44:35.620 Yeah, so are you.
00:44:36.820 Yeah.
00:44:37.560 So, are you playing hockey here?
00:44:39.940 No, I'm just coming to check in on our facility.
00:44:42.220 So, I'm going to check.
00:44:43.840 You're not supposed to be here, actually.
00:44:45.380 We were told that you play pickup here.
00:44:50.280 Mr. Brown, how come the kids in Brampton can only practice sports, but your buddies can play hockey?
00:44:57.180 Yeah.
00:44:57.380 So, I don't know why you are harassing people in the city of Brampton, but you shouldn't be.
00:45:05.000 Oh, who's harassing who?
00:45:07.160 Your guy handed out 122 bylaw violations in one week.
00:45:14.040 Mr. Brown, why is there a hockey game going on in this arena?
00:45:21.300 I thought you're only allowed to practice sports, not play them.
00:45:26.420 And who is paying the $1,000 a day, Mr. Brown, for this rink?
00:45:31.500 Mr. Brown, are these taxpayer dollars being used for your buddies to play hockey on this rink?
00:45:42.900 Or are you paying it?
00:45:45.220 Or perhaps we'll lead Solomon.
00:45:48.960 So, Mr. Brown, why is it one law for me and one law for thee in this city?
00:45:58.700 Mr. Brown?
00:45:59.420 Mr. Brown?
00:46:01.500 Well, talk about two minutes for egregious.
00:46:07.740 Well, and folks, what happened, that was, I think that might have been, Sheila, in the month of July.
00:46:14.520 We kept going back to the rink.
00:46:16.280 I mean, the chutzpah of this man is just astonishing.
00:46:19.180 He was caught red-handed breaking his own bylaws.
00:46:23.380 And he called it harassment.
00:46:24.980 Yeah.
00:46:25.380 But he kept coming.
00:46:26.400 How do you catch me doing this?
00:46:28.860 And he kept coming back to the rink.
00:46:30.920 He did some sneaky things because he is sneaky, Patrick Brown, like changing the times so he would avoid a meeting with us.
00:46:38.780 But in September, we went back there.
00:46:42.220 This is September of 2020.
00:46:44.260 And he called the cops on us.
00:46:46.440 And there was something like, Sheila, I can't remember, five or six police cruisers, three SUVs of security people.
00:46:53.120 For little old me, and I was handcuffed, arrested, charged with trespassing.
00:46:57.780 Keep in mind, folks, I'm standing outside the arena on a parking lot.
00:47:03.740 This is a publicly funded recreational facility.
00:47:07.260 While Brown and his very buddies are playing shinny inside.
00:47:12.220 And still, the kids can't play any sports outside either.
00:47:17.460 Yeah.
00:47:17.640 And I'm the one arrested.
00:47:19.120 Oh, sorry, sorry.
00:47:19.960 I think at this time, the soccer fields were also under arrest.
00:47:24.880 Didn't he have them chained off?
00:47:26.740 And he had security there in case kids tried to play outside.
00:47:30.180 Yeah.
00:47:30.820 Yeah.
00:47:31.420 It was.
00:47:32.080 Loser.
00:47:32.720 Oh, unbelievable.
00:47:33.880 And anyways, folks, to fast forward the story, and it got posted last night on our website and our YouTube channel.
00:47:41.560 We had our day in court and the charges were tossed because, well, Sheila, let's not kid the kidders.
00:47:47.260 There was zero chance of prosecution here.
00:47:51.320 Zero.
00:47:52.220 And so we win again.
00:47:55.120 And yeah, I'm going to give myself a Barry Horowitz pat on the back.
00:47:59.060 Well, it should be David Amber, our fantastic Ottawa lawyer that does that because he's the one that got his justice.
00:48:06.340 But you know what?
00:48:07.640 The what is it called, Sheila?
00:48:09.960 The abuse of regulatory authority.
00:48:13.940 I think that's the term.
00:48:15.560 This is the mayor.
00:48:16.780 He should be setting an example, not sneaking around.
00:48:19.980 And I have to tell you, too, folks, there's a wonderful online publication that's covering the shenanigans in Brampton,
00:48:26.280 which I truly believe might be the most corrupt city in our entire dominion.
00:48:31.740 And it's called The Pointer.
00:48:33.620 And they did a great piece several months ago where this went before this incident of him playing sports while forbidding other residents to not play sports.
00:48:45.420 This went before the integrity commissioner, who, by the way, is a personal friend of Patrick Brown,
00:48:53.100 who was appointed when he became mayor of Brampton.
00:48:56.460 They got rid of the other guy and she found him completely innocent of everything.
00:49:04.200 Except one thing.
00:49:05.920 He should have worn a mask.
00:49:08.160 As you saw in the footage, he was maskless.
00:49:12.080 So that was the only slap on the list from his personal friend, the integrity commissioner of Brampton.
00:49:19.380 Does it get any worse than this, Sheila?
00:49:22.240 You know, and David Amber's so good.
00:49:24.340 Oh, yeah.
00:49:25.200 He's the lawyer working on so many of the trucker cases in Ottawa.
00:49:29.760 He just as soon as he saw problems happening, he has other cases that he handles through the Democracy Fund.
00:49:37.760 And he just jumped to it to help people.
00:49:40.160 He's like a Batman.
00:49:41.380 He's the Batman lawyer when he sees injustice happening and civil liberties being violated.
00:49:45.560 He's like, I'm there.
00:49:46.620 And so he was the right guy at the right place at the right time.
00:49:49.160 And he worked so hard for you.
00:49:51.600 A hundred percent.
00:49:52.420 Patrick Brown, folks, is such a liar.
00:49:54.700 He would spit in your face and say it's raining.
00:49:57.220 And here's why, by the way, you should care in case you're thinking, oh, Brampton, that's just some, you know, city northwest of Toronto, big deal.
00:50:07.120 Here's why you should care, folks.
00:50:09.160 There are rumblings that this guy might take a run at the leadership of the Canadian Conservative Party, which, Sheila, if that comes to fruition.
00:50:21.420 I hope he tries.
00:50:23.000 I hope he tries.
00:50:24.440 Oh, but careful what you wish for.
00:50:26.460 Careful what you wish for, Sheila, because I'm telling you, if he becomes leader, you will be misty-eyed for the glory days of Aaron O'Toole.
00:50:37.520 Let me tell you.
00:50:39.940 Look at that.
00:50:41.520 Oh, my God.
00:50:42.700 And don't forget, folks, the reason why there was a palace coup in January of 2018, the election year, June was the election month.
00:50:53.180 So just six months, less than six months away from the Ontario provincial election.
00:50:59.160 This is a guy who lied to the Social Conservatives, saying, you know, he had their back and then he threw them under the bus.
00:51:06.400 This was a guy who pretended to be a fiscal conservative.
00:51:09.400 And the first thing he did at the Canadian Club after being voted in as leader was announcing plans for an Ontario carbon tax.
00:51:19.820 The entire crowd went silent and one guy in the back finally went, no.
00:51:26.360 So he threw social conservatives under the bus.
00:51:29.160 He threw fiscal conservatives under the bus.
00:51:31.340 And when there were no more conservatives to throw under the bus, this red Tory, well, he was thrown under the bus by his own party.
00:51:40.040 And I'm telling you, folks, check out that footage when he's crying like a baby.
00:51:44.160 His entire staff abandoned him.
00:51:46.160 I've never seen anything like that, Sheila.
00:51:48.000 His communications people, his strategists, they were it was just him giving a press conference.
00:51:53.940 And then he does that, you know, Game of Thrones walk of shame down the back stairs of the Ontario legislature building.
00:52:04.580 And I can't get this image out of my mind, not into some nice, but the mint, the salt stained minivan.
00:52:12.140 Right.
00:52:12.780 All that was missing was that nun going shame, shame ringing a bell.
00:52:18.720 You know what?
00:52:19.940 If he does try to run, we should show up and do shame.
00:52:22.580 Oh, I've got the bell already.
00:52:24.740 With your ticket.
00:52:26.660 With your trespass ticket, just ringing the bell.
00:52:29.240 Great idea.
00:52:30.380 He can't be serious.
00:52:31.680 Please reassure me, Sheila, because I don't want something flukish to happen that somehow he weasels his way into that position.
00:52:40.500 I can't believe he ran for the mayor of Brampton.
00:52:42.680 That guy will run for anything.
00:52:44.460 Like, he'd be the dog catcher if he could.
00:52:46.740 Sheila, he has zero connection to Brampton.
00:52:49.640 He's from Barrie, where he was a local politician and he was an MP.
00:52:54.560 This is what I mean.
00:52:55.260 He doesn't care.
00:52:56.300 He just wants to be in charge of stuff.
00:52:58.100 In fact, when he was running for mayor of Brampton, he sometimes screwed up referring to Brampton as Barrie.
00:53:06.140 I mean, that's how disconnected he is.
00:53:09.220 He just wants power for the sake of power.
00:53:12.020 But, you know, like the James Bond movie title, The World Is Not Enough, he's not content in just being some schlepper running the city of Brampton.
00:53:21.800 He has his eyes on being a premier, a prime minister.
00:53:25.760 And that, my friends, is a disaster that would make Erwin Allen blush.
00:53:30.640 Yes.
00:53:32.300 Now, we should get to some of these super chats.
00:53:34.080 And I see that my Skype connection is falling apart, which is odd because I'm on Starlink, but I'm probably sharing my Elon Musk satellite with the Ukrainians.
00:53:42.540 So, it's okay.
00:53:43.040 I won't be mad about it.
00:53:46.100 We've got one from Becca Henderson gives us a buck and says, I saw people on Twitter say they will not go into a restaurant with the unvaxxed.
00:53:54.400 I think this could be a good thing.
00:53:55.860 The Karens and weirdos will stay home.
00:53:58.640 You know what?
00:54:00.500 Stay home.
00:54:01.100 I don't care.
00:54:01.880 Yeah.
00:54:02.920 I'm in fear.
00:54:03.780 It's none of my business.
00:54:05.340 A hundred percent.
00:54:06.920 Just don't make us live under some kind of quasi-apartheid system.
00:54:12.900 But as Sheila says, folks, if you were terrified of getting the COVID cooties even at this stage of the game, stay home.
00:54:21.200 Reach out to Uber Eats or DoorDash.
00:54:23.200 And you don't have to contaminate yourself with the deplorables and the yahoos.
00:54:30.420 At this point, who hasn't had it?
00:54:33.120 Yeah.
00:54:34.820 Whether you're vaccinated or not, who hasn't had it at this point?
00:54:38.160 And I think it's kind of – I saw it on Twitter where someone was saying, well, even if Alberta gets rid of the masks, I'm going to wear them anyway.
00:54:50.360 And it's too bad that more municipalities aren't doing what Edmonton is doing.
00:54:58.500 And it's like, how do you miss that you still have the choice and that's all anybody ever wanted?
00:55:04.460 How do you not make that connection in your head that, yeah, you can go to Sherwood Park and wear a mask?
00:55:10.580 Nobody cares.
00:55:11.200 I'm going to think you're a hypochondriac, but I don't care.
00:55:13.840 I'm in the grocery store for something else.
00:55:16.940 I don't understand why people insist on infecting other people with their irrational fear.
00:55:22.960 I don't get it.
00:55:23.580 Sheila, Joy Behar on The View a couple of weeks ago said when all the restrictions and mandates are lifted in the U.S., she's still living her life wearing a mask going out.
00:55:33.360 And again, it comes back to what I said earlier.
00:55:35.540 It is a symbol saying, I like big government, I like authoritarianism, I like people telling me how to live my life.
00:55:44.700 Because if there's no pandemic, say in the year 2029, Joy, why are you still wearing that face diaper?
00:55:52.520 Do you know what?
00:55:53.500 By the way, Joy Behar, don't threaten me with a good time by covering up your face so everybody doesn't have to look at you.
00:55:59.260 Did you see her ridiculous comment about how she doesn't want a war to break out in Ukraine because it's going to ruin her Italian vacation?
00:56:10.640 No.
00:56:11.800 What a selfish ogre that woman is.
00:56:15.980 Awful.
00:56:16.700 How can you be so disconnected?
00:56:18.540 How can you be so tone deaf as Ukrainians are being massacred?
00:56:23.180 You're worried about your Italian villa vacation.
00:56:26.620 It's really a Marie Antoinette moment, eh?
00:56:29.080 Let them eat cake.
00:56:31.960 There's the face of the left these days, folks.
00:56:35.440 Well, the part of the face you can't see.
00:56:39.040 Let's call it the eyes of the left, or as Billy Idol would say, eyes without a face.
00:56:44.700 See what I did there, Sheila?
00:56:45.760 Give yourself a pat on the back.
00:56:47.940 No, because that song really came out before I was born.
00:56:55.240 Fast learner.
00:56:55.920 Yeah, look at horrible, horrible, horrible.
00:57:00.540 She's just awful.
00:57:02.200 I don't know how people even give her the time of day.
00:57:04.720 It shows you how insular Hollywood is if they think that she's perfectly acceptable.
00:57:09.520 Fast learner gives us five bucks.
00:57:11.720 Ontario is implementing digital ID so the VAX pass is no longer needed because the digital will have VAX status.
00:57:17.540 I don't know if that's true or not, but I am looking into a lot of places are moving to digital ID.
00:57:23.000 And I'm trying to find out what that means.
00:57:25.360 I filed an ATIP into Saskatchewan.
00:57:28.160 And they want a lot of money, which means that they've got a lot of plans for what this digital ID will do in the future.
00:57:37.020 But I'll get to that.
00:57:38.660 I'll do a story on that at a later date.
00:57:41.440 But it's outrageous because part of the enormous bill they gave me was for photocopying.
00:57:46.160 And I'm like, this is about a digital ID and you can't even send me a PDF?
00:57:49.720 You're going to photocopy all these documents and then what?
00:57:52.220 Mail them to me?
00:57:53.040 What year is this?
00:57:54.360 You people should not be developing a digital ID.
00:57:56.680 Anyway, I could go on forever.
00:58:00.160 Annalisa, 1964.
00:58:02.600 Annalisa is a David Menzies superfan.
00:58:04.940 David, you're in the bloodstream.
00:58:07.060 Good morning, my two favorite people.
00:58:08.780 Is that a new tie, Menzies?
00:58:10.240 That is a nice tie, by the way.
00:58:11.760 Thank you.
00:58:14.460 Either way, looking mighty fine.
00:58:16.020 Sheila, what can I say?
00:58:16.880 You're amazing.
00:58:17.460 Well, thank you.
00:58:18.240 Well, thank you, Annalisa.
00:58:19.420 It's an old tie, but I just brought it out of cold storage.
00:58:23.820 You know, it's funny, you know, Sheila, in broadcast, I bet you, with the exception of Annalisa, who has such an eagle eye, I could probably wear the same black suit, white shirt, and black tie, and nobody would notice.
00:58:37.540 But if you wore the same thing every single day, like that red sweater you're wearing, people would notice.
00:58:46.200 I bet you.
00:58:47.300 Yeah.
00:58:47.900 You know?
00:58:48.520 Yeah.
00:58:48.640 I sometimes will get, like, because I'll film a bunch of videos on a certain day, and then I'll work on other stuff, and then I'll film a bunch on a certain day.
00:58:55.480 And I get emails saying, do you ever change your clothes?
00:58:57.760 There you go.
00:58:58.080 I film them all on the same day.
00:59:00.580 Settle down.
00:59:01.580 And I've never had an email like that.
00:59:03.420 So what's my point?
00:59:04.120 I think that my point is that guys have it so much easier than gals when it comes to broadcasting.
00:59:10.100 Yeah.
00:59:10.400 And you can just, like, save your money.
00:59:12.080 Yeah.
00:59:12.660 And just wear the same thing every day.
00:59:15.220 Rotate your ties with Ezra.
00:59:16.460 Kushi, $11.24 gives us $10.
00:59:21.280 Well, thanks so much.
00:59:22.320 Love listening to your show every morning over a cup of coffee.
00:59:24.680 Keeps me sane.
00:59:25.400 Thank you for all your hard work and truth spreading.
00:59:27.780 Well, that's very nice.
00:59:28.620 Thank you very much.
00:59:30.260 Alfred C.
00:59:31.620 This is $10.
00:59:32.860 I'm waiting for your answers.
00:59:35.480 On Zafod Beeblebrox being a good description of Justin Trudeau.
00:59:41.700 No response by email yet.
00:59:43.620 I didn't see your email.
00:59:44.540 I'm sorry, I probably get about $300 a day.
00:59:47.980 I believe I received that email.
00:59:49.720 And I believe that's a character from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe.
00:59:55.800 And many years ago, I started it.
00:59:58.000 I just couldn't get into it.
00:59:59.440 I don't think I got to the point where that character is introduced.
01:00:04.200 So, but I'll tell you what, maybe I'll, you know, dredge up a copy and see what this character is like.
01:00:11.540 I mean, if there's comparisons to Justin Trudeau, he must be the villain in that book, I would assume, Sheila.
01:00:17.600 Or an absolute idiot.
01:00:21.720 A gropey idiot?
01:00:23.320 Is he a gropey idiot?
01:00:24.060 Stella O'Rella.
01:00:27.380 You know, I have a friend I go quadding with and he calls me Stella just to annoy me.
01:00:30.480 He always gets my name wrong.
01:00:31.640 He's like, Susan, Stella, Sharon.
01:00:35.100 I'm like, it's fine.
01:00:36.260 I'll just answer.
01:00:38.600 $20.
01:00:39.500 Thanks, guys.
01:00:40.080 Are we still eyeballing Bill S-233?
01:00:43.420 It's in second reading in the Senate.
01:00:45.700 That's the, for those of you who don't know, that's the Universal Basic Income Bill.
01:00:52.100 Now, the thing is, when we hear that it's before the Senate, a lot of times we get worried.
01:00:58.200 But because it starts with an S instead of a C, that's C, it originated in the Commons, House of Commons.
01:01:04.540 S means it originated in the Senate.
01:01:06.460 So these are unelected busybodies trying to find work to do.
01:01:11.080 Generating Universal Basic Income stuff so that, because they're basically on Universal Basic Income.
01:01:16.500 They don't have to work.
01:01:17.460 They're unelected.
01:01:19.020 So this, it has to go through.
01:01:22.120 So civics lesson, thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
01:01:25.740 I did this last week when I explained to people what confidence motion was, because there's a lot of people who don't understand.
01:01:31.540 They heard the word, but they don't really know what it means.
01:01:34.160 So S means it originated in the Senate.
01:01:36.720 It has to go through three readings in the Senate before it goes to the second House.
01:01:41.680 That would be in the Commons.
01:01:43.360 And it's probably going to die there, but also never underestimate how stupid the Liberals are and how much they want to waste your mind.
01:01:49.980 But usually bills that originate in the Senate, they don't often get very far.
01:01:56.740 They sort of end up in the House and then the House breaks or we go to election or whatever.
01:02:02.100 So I'm not entirely worried about this, but I will keep a look out for it because basically that's what CERB was.
01:02:11.340 So this would make CERB permanent.
01:02:14.380 You know, Sheila, like me, does your heart break for Jagmeet Singh?
01:02:19.400 I mean, he must be looking at a bill like this and saying, hey, stop eating my grass.
01:02:24.940 This kind of wealth redistribution, that's my bailiwick as a new Democrat.
01:02:30.200 You know, haven't I contributed enough by constantly propping up this minority liberal government?
01:02:36.040 So poor Jagmeet, who last week, of course, had to be the most humiliated politician in, I guess, five, ten years by propping up that ridiculous Emergencies Act when even Trudeau himself realized it was going to go down to defeat in the Senate, which was one of their finest moments in five or ten years.
01:02:58.720 Sheila. Yeah, but he must look at that and go, this is my bailiwick.
01:03:04.540 Leave me alone. Stop doing this.
01:03:07.220 But he can't. Yeah, the NDP don't really have a reason for existing anymore.
01:03:10.700 No, they don't.
01:03:13.020 Because Justin Trudeau takes all their far left ideas and they vote alongside with the liberals.
01:03:18.380 So you just the I don't know the like, you know how the Democrats have the AOC faction.
01:03:24.400 That's what they are. They're the AOC faction of the Liberal Party of Canada.
01:03:27.880 There is one reason for the existence of the NDP party, Sheila, under the leadership of Jagmeet Singh.
01:03:35.760 He needs to get to that six years in office to get the pension.
01:03:41.600 That's what Jagmeet Singh is all about.
01:03:43.560 Hey, listen, folks, you think our mani suits and BMW M3s are cheap?
01:03:48.940 No. And Jagmeet wants to continue his lavish lifestyle as he fights for the common man and woman in relative luxury.
01:03:58.960 So that's what Jagmeet is all about.
01:04:02.500 Team Jagmeet.
01:04:04.320 He likes his freebies and his fancy watches.
01:04:07.280 That's for sure.
01:04:08.440 Yeah.
01:04:08.780 Quite a quite a socialist.
01:04:10.300 What does Andrew Wilkow always say?
01:04:11.940 Socialism is for is not for the socialist.
01:04:15.600 Right. It's for the people, not the.
01:04:20.480 Yeah.
01:04:23.740 Twinks gives us five bucks.
01:04:25.340 Ottawa now talking permanent road closure in front of Parliament.
01:04:28.280 You can go up to Buckingham Palace, but self-important King Trudeau won't in front of the hill.
01:04:34.220 Laughable, but oh, so sad.
01:04:35.560 Yeah, that's a great point.
01:04:36.500 Well, that will be if there is a conservative government elected, Sheila, that will be job one to open up the hill to the people.
01:04:45.360 I mean, can you imagine Parliament Hill permanently closed to people?
01:04:50.340 You know, not protesters, not trucks, but just law abiding citizens.
01:04:55.440 Unbelievable.
01:04:55.960 Look how long they put the January 6th fences up for.
01:05:01.100 Yep.
01:05:01.600 In First Amendment.
01:05:03.980 So don't ever put it past Justin Trudeau to keep the icky normals away from where he works or where he shows up every once in a while.
01:05:12.120 I don't want to say works and I don't want to say that he goes there all the time because that I mean, if you're you're more apt to find him out at Harrington Lake.
01:05:20.080 Mick 3 CA, a dollar.
01:05:24.780 Any businesses such as the baseball zone in Toronto that still require one to be jabbed for entry, service or employment shall now be boycotted to the fullest extent.
01:05:33.360 You know what?
01:05:33.680 Let your money do the talking.
01:05:34.840 You don't have to go there.
01:05:37.780 You can go support businesses that mind their own business when they're doing business.
01:05:41.420 I think that's the most important thing.
01:05:42.980 You don't have to be mean to them.
01:05:44.120 You don't have to call them and harass them.
01:05:45.980 Just don't go.
01:05:47.040 Yeah.
01:05:47.300 I don't know the baseball zone.
01:05:48.620 I mean, is that some place you go and, like, you know, hit balls or something like that, you know, practice in the wintertime or because otherwise because a baseball zone isn't really just going to a well, when the weather's nicer, go to a diamond and hit balls there.
01:06:03.220 Let's look because, David, I'm not in Toronto.
01:06:06.720 So let's look about this place.
01:06:10.280 So the baseball zone is an indoor baseball training facility in Toronto.
01:06:13.960 So I guess they still need – it's in Mississauga, actually, and they still need vax passes there.
01:06:19.700 It's close.
01:06:23.360 Twinks gives us five bucks.
01:06:24.760 Mandates will not be lifted if there's a choice to keep them.
01:06:27.620 Workers still not allowed back if company keeps mandates in place.
01:06:30.420 Still no job, no job.
01:06:32.200 That's true.
01:06:34.040 Fraser McBride, five bucks.
01:06:35.820 First victim of war is truth.
01:06:37.540 Here's an example.
01:06:38.540 Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island are all alive and they surrendered to the Russians.
01:06:42.540 I still don't even think there's clarity on that.
01:06:44.740 I think some surrendered, some died.
01:06:47.800 But I don't also know why anybody is shocked that they're seeing propaganda from both sides.
01:06:54.780 You can still say I'm anti-invasion, but I don't think everything we're seeing is perfectly accurate.
01:07:02.360 Look back to the Gulf War.
01:07:04.760 I still have my Gulf War trading cards, my first ones.
01:07:07.520 Oh, I've got those too.
01:07:08.780 Those were a propaganda thing.
01:07:09.920 Are they worth anything?
01:07:11.280 I don't know.
01:07:12.740 I have them in an orange binder from when I was little.
01:07:13.780 I bet they're totally worthless.
01:07:16.280 Oh, for sure.
01:07:17.160 Like I had like five Schwarzkopf, General Schwarzkopf.
01:07:21.920 I did.
01:07:22.580 I still have them.
01:07:23.200 But that was an act of propaganda to like get kids having a good view of the war.
01:07:29.600 And that's, it's always been, it's always been.
01:07:32.500 Like I was saying to Adam yesterday, in my studio, I have American signs and propaganda about how farmers could participate in the war effort.
01:07:42.880 I collect them.
01:07:43.640 And it's, it is absolutely shameless propaganda, but I like it and it's always been.
01:07:50.800 So this is just the new way that you consume propaganda in the digital age.
01:07:56.340 And, you know, Sheila, on that point, don't you find it amazing, because I do, that I would have thought one of the very first targets of the Russian army wouldn't be some apartment building where civilians live in, but rather the infrastructure that facilitates the internet and social media charity.
01:08:15.900 It was, that's why Elon Musk deployed Starlink to there to make sure that they still had internet and communications, which is probably why my Starlink is so bad right now.
01:08:32.520 How does that Starlink work?
01:08:34.240 Is that something in space or something?
01:08:36.000 Yeah, it's like a low altitude satellite internet, which is great for a place like where I live, where I don't even have landlines into my house, I don't want fiber optics.
01:08:49.120 And I used to have like radio internet, which there was like a tower up the road, but now we have like low altitude satellite from Starlink, which is great.
01:08:59.400 See how smart Sheila Gunn-Reed is, folks?
01:09:02.740 She's educating me in real life time.
01:09:05.000 The internet is the bane of my existence.
01:09:07.880 It is like the most stressful thing I go through in a day is internet upload speeds and download speeds for reviewing videos, for uploading my videos to work in Toronto.
01:09:21.420 And so I've learned a lot about it through my own frustration over the years.
01:09:26.540 You know what, Sheila, I'm going to make a statement here.
01:09:28.960 And that is, I think the world was better before there was an internet, right?
01:09:32.640 I mean, sure, you could still research.
01:09:35.200 You'd go to like in Toronto, the central library and go through microfiche and it would take hours what you can do in seconds on the internet.
01:09:41.940 But don't you think the world was far more civil, that there was more of a human connection?
01:09:47.380 I mean, you know, and I think part of the problem is you go online to comment on somebody.
01:09:53.160 They're not, it's not a human being that you would speak to in the language that you post statements online.
01:10:02.000 So you use all kinds of vicious, vulgar slurs and even threats.
01:10:07.440 Like I said, Sheila, I think I preferred the world pre-internet.
01:10:12.220 What do you say?
01:10:13.220 I'm not, I don't know.
01:10:14.440 I'm of two minds.
01:10:15.240 I could hear arguments for both sides, but I do think anonymity is generally bad for civility, for sure.
01:10:23.980 Let's keep going.
01:10:24.920 What is the status of the Jonathan Yeneve lawsuit?
01:10:30.580 Would love an update.
01:10:31.860 So last update to Jonathan Yeneve's lawsuit, because he is suing us, is that he's suing us.
01:10:40.920 That's all we have right now.
01:10:42.860 It's basically a nuisance lawsuit and I don't want to prejudice the lawsuit, so I don't want to get too much into it.
01:10:49.620 But when there is an update to that, I promise we'll let you know, because Drea has been all over that case.
01:10:55.800 Yeah.
01:10:56.160 And Sheila, and this is nothing to prejudice the lawsuit by.
01:11:00.660 Oh, I don't know, David.
01:11:01.580 Be careful.
01:11:02.800 Is he representing himself or does he actually have legal counsel?
01:11:07.300 Oh, I think last time he was representing himself.
01:11:10.500 Good.
01:11:14.220 That'll make it even a better fiasco than the other way.
01:11:17.440 Yeah.
01:11:18.100 And we've got Daniel Kroos from Owen.
01:11:20.440 Oh, look at that.
01:11:21.860 Look at that.
01:11:25.480 Last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a fish hook in it.
01:11:28.860 Anyways.
01:11:30.940 Okay, let's see.
01:11:33.300 Five libraries from Celtic Mutt.
01:11:36.140 Since when you require a five library minimum, it used to be that you can give one library.
01:11:40.560 Now Rebel is too good for one library.
01:11:42.180 I'm pretty sure that wasn't us.
01:11:44.880 Or is this something Odyssey has introduced?
01:11:46.780 I don't think it was us.
01:11:48.040 It might be just the default setting.
01:11:50.860 B Bapis gives us a buck.
01:11:53.180 Digital ID is Chinese social credit system.
01:11:55.700 Well, that's the thing.
01:11:56.260 They can add anything they want to it.
01:11:58.920 Fast Learner.
01:11:59.760 Five bucks.
01:12:00.360 Here's the link to the Ontario Digital ID program.
01:12:02.720 They state overtly it would be used for vaccination status.
01:12:05.500 They also reference the World Economic Forum, the footnotes.
01:12:08.880 Of course they do.
01:12:09.720 Maybe I'll pass it along to Tamara because I'm currently working on the Saskatchewan one, which is crazy.
01:12:20.100 I don't know how they have that many documents and they need that much money in a province that has fewer people, I think, than all of Calgary.
01:12:28.500 So that's crazy.
01:12:32.480 Anyway, I think we're all caught up and we're a quarter past the hour.
01:12:36.380 Well, there you go.
01:12:37.180 Well, I want to thank Miss Producer on her maiden voyage and getting the show done today.
01:12:43.440 She did an awesome job.
01:12:44.780 So thank you, Olivia.
01:12:46.300 She did.
01:12:46.640 And thank you to everybody that contributed, especially those who made financial contributions.
01:12:52.720 That's how we keep these very hot, bright lights on and broadcast to you.
01:12:58.600 Sheila and I will be back on Thursday.
01:13:00.500 Tomorrow there'll be two other rebels.
01:13:02.480 I'm not sure which ones.
01:13:04.420 And in the meantime, as always, folks, stay sane.
