00:00:00.000 July 23rd, 2021, and no, I apologize in advance, Ezra Levent is not here, he usually is, but
00:00:07.880 the hardest working man in show business is out of the province on a special assignment,
00:00:13.300 and my normal fill-in co-host, that would be Sheila Gunn-Reed, aka the She-Devil with
00:00:19.240 a Sword, she is also on assignment, so I'm very happy to have, to my left, high energy,
00:00:26.700 Andrew says, how you doing today, Andrew?
00:00:28.800 I'm doing well, David, thank you very much, of course, we're here to take your comments,
00:00:32.700 questions, concerns, by form of hyperchats on Odyssey, if you guys are watching on Odyssey,
00:00:38.640 or if you're not, head over there to ask us your questions, or give us your comments,
00:00:42.100 and we'll read aloud, we'll go over some of the nation's, and perhaps continent's,
00:00:46.280 biggest stories today, as well as our latest rebel news story, David the Menzoid Menzaloid,
00:00:51.740 what's the first thing you want to talk about today?
00:00:54.000 You know, I've got to tell you, it wasn't on the list, but I'm driving into headquarters,
00:01:00.840 and I hear that the Cleveland Indians have changed their nickname for next season going forward,
00:01:06.320 and without getting into the Indians debate, and native nicknames, and logos, such as,
00:01:14.020 I think the Washington Redskins are still going to be known this season as the Washington football team,
00:01:19.240 I don't know what's taking them so long, but I couldn't help but notice the nickname is,
00:01:27.720 the new nickname that is, Andrew, the Guardians, and first of all, how do you visually represent that
00:01:36.440 on a logo? And this seems to be something that is really a Cleveland thing. Their football team,
00:01:43.280 the nickname is the Browns, which was actually named after the person who founded the team,
00:01:48.380 but you're in a real problem area because how do you visually represent a logo that's brown?
00:01:55.480 You can't even use the color on the helmet because that's a rule. The helmet can't be the same color
00:02:00.120 as the football to avoid, you know, a ref making the wrong call. And, you know, and I mean,
00:02:07.360 their basketball team, the Cavaliers, who in blue hell, folks, would name a male basketball team
00:02:15.500 the Cavaliers. It just, it just sounds so eminent to me. And now we have the Guardians. And then the
00:02:21.440 more I thought about this, Andrew, the more Guardians made sense. And I'll tell you why.
00:02:26.720 It's kind of like, like when you said, oh, well, they'll just have a night as a Guardian. Well,
00:02:32.200 then you're ripping off the Las Vegas hockey team. I think Guardian is bang on for the day and age we
00:02:38.920 live in because it's like, what it says to me is parental guardian. It's like a guardian of content,
00:02:46.160 a guardian that looks at what we say, what we do, what we think, what we write. It is so in tune,
00:02:56.600 I think, with cancel culture that, you know, here are a bunch of guardians in Cleveland of all places,
00:03:03.900 monitoring correct speak. And the idea that they got rid of a logo that is more than a century old
00:03:13.860 or a nickname that's more than a century old, I guess it shows that they're practicing what they
00:03:19.300 preach. But what are your thoughts on that? They should have went with a bird or something.
00:03:23.240 There's a lot of birds in the major leagues. You got the Orioles, the Cardinals, the Blue Jays.
00:03:27.720 Why not the Sparrows? They could have went with something rock and roll themed. Cleveland
00:03:34.300 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is there. The Cleveland LeBron Jameses, maybe. Just get a logo of LeBron
00:03:40.180 since they were from there. I don't know. It's stupid. It's one of those situations where nobody
00:03:46.180 asked for it except for people who don't care about baseball. Just like what are the Edmonton
00:03:50.100 Eskimos called now? Oh, the Elk Hounds or the Elkswine. Edmonton Elk or something.
00:03:55.700 Shout out to a couple of the Edmonton Eskimos who are actually, you know, really smart guys. I watch
00:04:01.840 a lot of their stuff that they post online and they say some real woke stuff and not in the
00:04:07.080 sarcastic sense, even though I did quotations. I don't know, David. I think it's one of these
00:04:11.620 things that they're going to regret. It's just, but it's probably going to be forgotten in a year
00:04:15.780 or two. I mean, sports fans will remember it, but everybody else is just going to start calling
00:04:19.940 that Washington football team. I don't know how they've kept it the same for this long. It's really
00:04:24.680 stupid. I don't know how you're supposed to build a brand or sell merchandise or get new
00:04:30.780 fans. Most of the times when kids are picking teams and it's not just a legacy thing where
00:04:36.880 like my father's a big Leafs fan, which isn't what happened with me because my dad's a Canadians
00:04:41.420 fan. They go with whatever they think is the coolest logo, the coolest uniform, whatever
00:04:46.640 sounds the coolest. The football team and the Guardians, you know, and the Elks, these
00:04:53.180 aren't cool names. They're not cool logos. You got to do something creative like Seattle's
00:04:59.560 team is the Kraken. That's going to get at least some people to be like, oh, this is interesting.
00:05:04.540 But when you go down this road of let's get the most generic thing we can to not offend
00:05:07.960 people, it's insane. And somebody's done a video and I have it in one of my old episodes
00:05:13.580 of my show with a guy named Vince Dow, a young guy. He goes through all the college sports
00:05:19.540 teams in the United States that have logos that would be offensive to white people.
00:05:26.800 And there's actually hundreds of them. I mean, you could go down the road of the Boston Celtics
00:05:30.500 being offensive if you want to.
00:05:33.960 And there's so many...
00:05:34.540 The Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
00:05:35.740 Fighting Irish, Texas Rangers. So there's so many things that could be offensive to other
00:05:39.860 people, but they just choose not to. And the reason why this happens is because it's usually
00:05:45.500 white people acting on other people's behalf to be offended on their behalf. And it's a
00:05:49.780 sad situation, David Menzies.
00:05:51.300 And by the way, you are 100% right in that assessment. Because if there are any woke people
00:05:57.260 tuned in right now and they're going, oh, this is rich. Two white heterosexual males talking
00:06:03.860 about what is and isn't offensive to natives. Well, I can tell you back in 2016, the Washington
00:06:10.920 Post, no less. And I'm sure they were shocked by the results of this poll. They had an exclusive
00:06:16.800 poll to Native Americans about the team name and logo, Washington Redskins. And I am absolutely
00:06:24.960 sure, Andrew, to their shock and dismay, more than 90% said they had no problem. In fact,
00:06:31.400 they liked it. We actually did an assignment where we went down to downtown Toronto and talked
00:06:35.520 to natives. And they loved it. They thought it was empowering. So it begs the question,
00:06:41.840 doesn't it? Who is offensive? When you're asking natives who have the most skin in the game about
00:06:47.660 native nicknames and logos for sports teams, and more than nine out of 10 say, no, this isn't bad.
00:06:55.820 In fact, it's good. In fact, I wear this merchandise. I go back to when I started my career,
00:07:02.140 such as it is, in northern Alberta in the 1980s. I was in a part of the real estate in Canada,
00:07:10.780 Andrew, where there was something like in the town I was in, St. Paul. It was a short drive to,
00:07:17.020 I believe, five Indian reserves. And in the 1980s, in northern Alberta, at the peak of Gretzky mania,
00:07:26.040 right? You would think that the Edmonton Oilers jersey would be the most prevalent. I can tell you
00:07:32.200 on the reserves, the, you know, I was with a pickup team and we would play native teams,
00:07:37.840 almost every single one wearing the sweater of the Chicago Blackhawks. So these are natives with
00:07:44.340 their own money buying potentially offensive, you know, sweaters and logos. And by the way,
00:07:51.020 the Chicago Blackhawks, I have no, I have no doubt whatsoever that this, which is easily one of
00:07:57.580 the most beautiful hockey jerseys ever created in the history of Shinny, that will be next on the
00:08:04.100 cancel culture list. You watch in our lifetime, that's going to be a different name and nickname.
00:08:08.660 But what I'm getting at is who are we bending the knee to? White social justice warriors that are
00:08:17.140 being offended on behalf of the natives who aren't? This is madness, Andrew.
00:08:22.160 Well, the Chicago, we're going to Chicago Blackhawks. So many native teams have taken that logo as many
00:08:28.220 like amateur teams do. In Whitby, Ontario, Canada, the Iroquois team, their lacrosse and their hockey
00:08:35.380 teams use pretty much a repurposed version of that logo. And it happens all the time with lacrosse teams.
00:08:41.200 And last thing I'll say on this is the Edmonton Eskimos, same deal as the Washington Redskins,
00:08:47.400 where the Edmonton Eskimos actually came up with that name with the help of a native tribe who they
00:08:53.640 also do yearly benefits with. They visit with the people on the reserve all the time, every season.
00:09:01.260 So they're not, they're not pleasing anyone by just changing their name. And even though they had an
00:09:06.760 overwhelming support to keep the name, they still decided, I don't know, Sally Ann in public
00:09:13.680 relations department said, no, this is the fence of David. We have to change it.
00:09:17.040 Yeah. And one last thing about the Edmonton Eskimos, I remember when they got the names
00:09:21.460 down to the final seven, which all had to begin with the letter E because they wanted to keep the
00:09:26.960 double E logo.
00:09:27.460 Because they can't afford to change it.
00:09:28.940 No, but that is an iconic logo. I applaud that. If you had a gun to my head and said,
00:09:33.000 you must change this nickname. You can no longer use Eskimos. It has to be another name with an E.
00:09:38.560 And I mean, I was looking at the name Elks, Eclipse. I mean, who in blue hell would name a sports
00:09:43.980 franchise an Eclipse?
00:09:44.160 That's offensive too.
00:09:45.360 But here's the thing. What didn't make the final seven a word that begins with the letter E that
00:09:50.800 is completely in touch with the culture of Alberta is energy. Wouldn't that be?
00:09:57.080 What a great name for a sports franchise, the Edmonton Energy. But I know what's happening
00:10:02.000 in the back door, you know, in the boardroom.
00:10:04.620 Energy is also evil.
00:10:05.540 Yeah. Oh my goodness. What about the Greta Thunberg element? They might not like this
00:10:10.300 idea of a fossil fuel connection.
00:10:12.780 The Oilers are going to have to change too.
00:10:14.500 Oh yeah. Well, you know, look, when Houston went back into the NFL, they had a great nickname
00:10:20.840 too. Also the Oilers, a fantastic logo, I thought, an oil derrick. And they became the
00:10:25.960 Houston Texans. Isn't that redundant?
00:10:28.700 Well, it's because it's a different franchise, David Manzies. The Houston Oilers moved to
00:10:33.880 Tennessee to become the Tennessee Titans. I would expect David Manzies to know this
00:10:37.840 football war.
00:10:38.760 Listen, when Winnipeg rejoined the NHL, it went back to the Jets. And by the way, the
00:10:44.020 owners wanted a different nickname. And Manitobans rose up in anger and said, no, you're staying
00:10:51.120 with the Jets. And they did the right thing.
00:10:53.020 Rise up, Manitoba. Manitoba strong.
00:10:55.020 Our next segment is brought to you by the United Nations.
00:10:59.020 You know, they've got trucks in Toronto now.
00:11:01.120 Yes. They have moved into our parking lot. They now own us. Annamie Paul is the de facto,
00:11:07.640 I guess I can use the term, leader of the Green Party. She won the leadership race, did she not?
00:11:13.400 And now we've, are those documents public yet that we've discovered? Can we mention those?
00:11:20.700 Well, I know our lawyers sent a process server yesterday to the court, because what is spectacular,
00:11:27.400 folks, is that Annamie Paul, who just launched yesterday, her official election kickoff,
00:11:34.720 in the periphery, there is turmoil galore. The Green Party of Canada and the Green Party Fund of Canada,
00:11:44.520 right? They have launched legal action. Basically, the gist of it is when there was the specter of a
00:11:54.960 leadership review that was quashed, it shouldn't have been, they should have been reviewed. And
00:11:59.220 basically, what is Annamie Paul's sin? Well, she is pro-Israel. And when you have a party full of
00:12:08.160 progressives, it is due rigueur to denounce Israel, to embrace the likes of Hamas. And we know this,
00:12:16.400 don't we, Andrew? Because remember back in 2015, Elizabeth May, the former leader of the Green Party,
00:12:24.300 and someone who I think is still strongly connected to the Green Party in terms of string pulling and
00:12:30.140 puppet mastering. She was at that incredible event. I think it was the Ottawa Press Gallery in Ottawa,
00:12:38.940 where she prayed. Well, you know what? I think it would be in her favor. No, I think she should
00:12:47.780 cling to that. I was drunk as a skunk. I didn't know what I was saying. I didn't know what I was
00:12:51.740 doing. But she was singing the praises of Omar Khadr, our homegrown Islamist terrorist,
00:12:58.220 and now multimillionaire, thanks to the Trudeau liberals. I don't know if we have that clip,
00:13:02.920 if Mr. Producer finds it. So if you are embracing Omar Khadr, you kind of get an idea where the
00:13:12.120 Greens are on Mideast policy, don't you? Well, it's because she is Jewish, I would imagine.
00:13:17.580 But people are going to, of course- That's Annamie Paul, not Elizabeth May.
00:13:20.380 Exactly. Now, people are going to say, why are you guys carrying water for the Green Party?
00:13:24.980 Because it's silly what they're doing. They're suing their own leader because they don't like
00:13:30.200 who won. They don't like what she's standing for. And I imagine this Green Party fund comes from their
00:13:35.160 global fund, as they are quite literally a globalist party. Hence why all Green Party
00:13:40.100 parties across the entire world use the same logo and they use the same platform. It's pretty much
00:13:48.240 NDP, but with pretending they care more about the environment, it might as well be the same party.
00:13:52.580 But they, whereas the NDP would just be localized in Canada and perhaps wherever Jagmeet is not banned
00:13:58.600 from, the Green Party, you know, they collect funds, they collect organizational, not representation,
00:14:05.900 but connections. It's basically just a global party, literal globalists who say, let's try to run here,
00:14:12.280 let's try to run there. And they do their best. And I'd imagine their global partners are not a fan of
00:14:17.680 enemy. Paul being a fan of, you know, her own heritage. Yeah. Well, you know, Andrew, that's so
00:14:24.060 true. And I mean, they were fans prior to me when we had that big eruption with Israel and Hamas and
00:14:33.560 and she issued a statement about, I mean, I don't want to misquote it, but it was, I thought, so
00:14:40.400 innocuous, you know, let's get back to discussing the issues. And evidently, because she didn't
00:14:46.820 outright condemn Israel, that was her sin. In fact, one Green Party member crossed the floor to the
00:14:53.760 liberals. And I would argue that I think maybe a lot of the Green Party membership didn't even realize
00:15:01.520 when they voted for her that she was Jewish. You know, I mean, in terms of the identity politics
00:15:09.060 poker game, I mean, she's got, you know, the ace and the king in her behalf. She's female and she's
00:15:15.240 black. Right. And that should neither be here nor there. But we know that's not true. That's how
00:15:20.020 politics worked. But when it was revealed that she was Jewish and pro-Israel, whoa, whoa, whoa,
00:15:27.140 whoa. Then you had defections. Then you had turmoil about a leadership review, now a lawsuit. And I've
00:15:33.980 never seen anything like this. A party going into an election, Andrew, where the party's own leader
00:15:39.640 is the subject of a lawsuit to be ousted by her own party. Can you ever remember this?
00:15:46.660 If she does, in fact, get to hold her position as the leader, I think this helps her. I think this
00:15:52.140 will get her NDP voters. But the thing about the NDP and the Green Party is, and I do lump them in
00:15:58.360 on purpose, is that especially for the Green Party, you're going to have a bunch of people who probably
00:16:03.340 used to care about the environment a lot of what maybe the Green Party was 20 years ago. And just as
00:16:08.820 we are literally the party to try to push environmental policy. Now, obviously, it's
00:16:14.800 different. I don't think that a lot of their party members, and maybe this is me being too mean,
00:16:19.620 know a lot about what's going on. They see Green Party, they think it's good. And I don't think that
00:16:24.380 they're going to allow any differentiating opinions in this, because that's just not how it works when
00:16:30.120 you get into these far or left groups. It's just we have these set of things. You're not supposed to
00:16:34.920 be offensive to anyone. And disagreeing with Palestine as an oppressed state is just one of
00:16:41.020 these things you're not allowed to say. Just like as if she was, if she was to tweet out there are
00:16:45.560 only two genders, there'd be even more outrage. Oh, gracious. And the other thing, Gledge brought
00:16:52.420 the NDP up, because when we look at the equation of the electoral map, the 338 seats, and why the
00:16:59.360 Liberals tend to do so well, well, let's consider this. This is Toronto Centre, folks, which used to be
00:17:05.540 the writing of the disgraced ex-finance minister, Bill Murnau. And here's the thing. I can easily see
00:17:15.300 support for Annamie Paul and the NDP. And guess who comes right up the middle? It's the Liberal
00:17:22.660 candidate, another writing one by the Justin Trudeau Liberals.
00:17:25.560 Isn't this the Marcy Ian writing? Yes. So she's probably going to retain, is my guess.
00:17:31.740 I would imagine. And, you know, unless you had some meeting of the minds between Green and NDP
00:17:38.720 voters to strategically vote for one party or the other. But I don't see that happening. And again,
00:17:45.060 this will be, I think, a writing one by a Liberal candidate going right up the middle.
00:17:49.380 I mean, not that Jagmeet can ever win, but I would be so interested to see how this sort of stuff would
00:17:56.240 play out if we started asking Jagmeet these questions. You ask Annamie Paul, her support
00:18:02.300 versus of Israel versus Palestine. She tells you Israel, there's your big controversy. You start
00:18:07.320 asking Jagmeet about tough questions about religion, who he sides on, and Islam versus Sikhism.
00:18:15.520 How about Khalistan? All these questions about his religion. NDP is a party of voters who hate
00:18:21.580 religion. I'm sorry to tell you, they're not really, and maybe they don't hate religion. Maybe
00:18:25.780 they want to respect all people. But when it comes down to the beliefs of something like Sikhism,
00:18:30.680 young voters who are 18 to 25, who are very left, are not going to be going to bat for anyone's
00:18:37.780 religious freedoms, as we've seen in the last year. Now, it may be different because they might see it
00:18:42.520 as an oppressed group. However, Sikhs are not going to be NDP voters, and NDP voters are not
00:18:50.180 going to be Sikhs. That's just going to be the reality of it. I don't see how those two belief
00:18:54.740 systems can mix at all, especially when you take from the fact that a common NDP voter is going to
00:18:59.820 be pro-Palestine. A person who's a religious Sikh is not going to be pro-Palestine. That's just
00:19:06.420 historically and literally not how it's going to be. So I would like to see how things would go
00:19:12.900 if Jagmeet actually had to start answering questions about this stuff, as if his party
00:19:18.580 actually started to know his true belief system and his actual opinions on global conflicts and
00:19:26.400 religious doctrine in that sense. Because all we ever get from Jagmeet is tax more,
00:19:32.980 child grants, we need more sick days, and everything's offensive and racist, and I'm going
00:19:42.380 to cry about it. But you know what? I would dispute that the likes of Jagmeet Singh have nothing to do
00:19:50.620 with religion or hate religion, because we know he has a soft spot in his heart for the idea of a
00:19:56.260 a Sikh republic within India called Calistan. And there are Sikhs in Canada that do believe in this.
00:20:05.260 I think this is a debtor issue in India than it is in Canada, believe it or not. And let's not forget,
00:20:11.560 Andrew, the biggest act of Canadian terrorism goes back to the 1980s, the Air India bombing,
00:20:16.440 and this was what it was all about, right? So when you look at Jagmeet Singh, when he's brought on the
00:20:22.620 carpet to talk about an independent Sikh republic, Calistan, he does tap dancing that would make
00:20:29.640 Fred Astaire blush, okay? Because he can't be seen as pro-terrorism or pro-extremism, and yet he can't
00:20:39.220 go against the wishes of much of his base, I'm sorry to say, which are pro-Kalistan Sikhs.
00:20:45.300 Well, I don't doubt for a second, I don't know if that's what you're alluding to,
00:20:48.040 that Jagmeet doesn't believe these things. Him and his brother both seem to be religious Sikhs,
00:20:55.300 I wouldn't doubt that for a second. I don't necessarily care about what his beliefs actually
00:20:59.920 are. I just think that if he's an actual, if he's Sikh, I don't think the mass of NDP voters
00:21:08.260 would support the religious views that a Sikh might have or pertain to have, especially in relations to
00:21:13.540 things like Palestine, Islam, transgenderism, stuff like that. Now, Justin, do we have...
00:21:20.140 It's so complicated, isn't it?
00:21:21.340 Exactly. It's hard when you're lying all the time. Justin, do we have that clip the Menzoid mentioned?
00:21:27.400 We have to go, all right, let's see it.
00:21:28.880 All right.
00:21:30.600 He's got one second now. From one moment, he's the greatest producer ever, he's found the clip,
00:21:35.540 the next moment he wants...
00:21:36.740 Justin will always be the greatest producer ever. I mean, we began the discussion with baseball. Do
00:21:42.740 you know I call Justin Mr. Triple? I'll leave it up to the audience to decide if that's because he
00:21:47.960 hits a record number of triples or he always bats into a triple play.
00:21:52.760 That would be exciting. Triple play is an exciting play no matter what.
00:21:55.760 It sure is.
00:21:56.340 Well, let's go ahead.
00:21:56.840 I'm not sure the batter.
00:21:58.100 Let's move on to...
00:21:59.180 Oh, you know what? I think, do you have it, Justin? Okay, here's Elizabeth May in a clip
00:22:02.920 that will never get tired. Check it out.
00:22:05.820 Do you guys ever wake up with old theme songs from former black and white TV shows that you
00:22:13.860 never thought your kids would ever see and they're running through your head? Like, every
00:22:17.680 now and then I wake up thinking about... Lisa, you've got to wait. Lisa, I wake up thinking
00:22:22.440 about A Horse is a Horse, of course, of course. This morning I wake up thinking this. Why am
00:22:27.740 I thinking this? Do you guys wonder? Please, hang on.
00:22:32.200 Wait, you know what? Do you guys remember the theme song? Welcome back? Who knew
00:22:40.240 Cotter was spelled K-H-A-D-R. Welcome back, Omer Cotter. It matters to say it. Welcome back,
00:22:49.640 Omer Cotter. You're home.
00:22:57.680 There's a lot unusual about your speech, Liz, but we're going to take off.
00:23:02.680 Omer Cotter, you've got more class than the whole fucking cabinet. Thank you.
00:23:06.680 What did the other woman say when she spoke? That was Lisa Wright doing heroic work in
00:23:14.420 preventing Elizabeth May from really going down the sewer. You know, folks, how, first
00:23:19.400 of all, how disgusting both the sentiment and the language. Secondly, how did we ever know
00:23:25.080 that Elizabeth May was so ahead of the curve in terms of the Justin Trudeau liberals that
00:23:30.660 gave our homegrown Islamist terrorist a $10.5 million check for hurting his feelings? But
00:23:37.960 I'm not going to quote her verbatim, but, you know, Omer Cotter has more effing class than the
00:23:45.060 entire Harper cabinet. You know, let me write that one down. Yeah, it is. It is mind boggling.
00:23:53.300 This is a woman who thinks that a terrorist who killed an American ally and partially blinded another
00:24:01.380 one has class. The guy should be locked up for the rest of his miserable life. And secondly,
00:24:09.540 in 2019, I got to ask questions to Elizabeth May at the press conference after the federal leadership
00:24:16.340 debate in Ottawa. And this is what I brought up to her. And I thought she had an easy out,
00:24:24.580 Andrew. I thought she could have said, which I think is quite clear that, you know what,
00:24:29.860 I was drunk as a skunk. I didn't know what I was saying. You know, then I'd have forgiveness.
00:24:34.500 But no, she doubled down. She said, you know, the press gallery dinner, it's all about comedy.
00:24:38.980 It's all about making jokes. And my follow up question is, is the family of Mr. Spear,
00:24:47.940 are they laughing about this? You know, the person whose life was taken by this scumbag.
00:24:54.100 So this is the leader of the Green Party up until recently and who I think is still
00:25:02.020 pulling the strings. She is a disgrace. She is vulgar. She's a hypocrite, i.e.
00:25:07.700 member Victoria Day two years ago, drove in BC, drove in a Victoria Day parade in a Dodge Viper,
00:25:16.580 which I think manufactures 640 horsepower, not exactly a plug in Toyota Prius.
00:25:23.700 So I have nothing but contempt for this vile woman based on those statements. She's never
00:25:28.740 apologized for them. Maybe the Green Party would have been a better done a better job of keeping
00:25:32.900 track of the electrical car outlets that Sheila Gunn-Reed did a story on recently, how the federal,
00:25:38.500 if you guys didn't hear Justin, can we just pull up that story quickly? We'll talk about it for two
00:25:41.620 minutes. Sheila has documents that showed the federal government forgot where they placed all
00:25:47.700 their electrical car charging centers across the entire country. And they've had to hire a foreign,
00:25:54.900 for some reason, they hired an American company to try to locate all of their plug-in stations. I don't
00:26:01.620 know what to call charging stations, I guess. How is this possible? I don't know. People are
00:26:07.140 pointing out that there's actually apps that you can download that say, here's the closest. That's
00:26:11.060 right. Which makes sense, of course, people with electric vehicles that need to know that's an easy
00:26:15.540 service, an easy idea, should have been on Dragon's Den. Brett Wilson, shout out Brett Wilson, who won't
00:26:20.740 come on my show anymore. Oh, what happened there? Another lover's quarrel? No, for some reason,
00:26:27.300 he thought that I wanted him to debate Adam Skelly on the show. And I was like, no, I just want you
00:26:32.500 to come on the show, Brett Wilson. And he hasn't replied. Shout out Brett Wilson. The federal government
00:26:36.660 loses track of electric car chargers, pays American company 680 grand to find them. Oh, what?
00:26:42.740 Now, Sheila has the best- 680? She's great at finding the best and most hilarious
00:26:49.140 government documents. She's the best. Yep. So that's always exciting. Go to rebelnews.com to see that.
00:26:54.100 Let's move on to Justin. We can show probably the first two minutes of my video about Hasbro toys.
00:26:59.780 Oh, it was a good one. Hasbro has Marvel. They make all the big companies' toys. Marvel,
00:27:05.940 Transformers, Power Rangers, all that stuff that David Menzies still plays with and still reads the
00:27:11.940 comics for. Yeah, but you know what? That sounds like a lot of toxic masculinity. There is. That's why
00:27:16.660 we need to make sure it's only- They don't make Barbie. That's Mattel, right? You're apparently
00:27:21.380 knee-deep in the toy manufacturing game. Regardless, Project Veritas found a whistleblower for Hasbro
00:27:27.540 toys. He was a packaging engineer, I believe was his title, contracted by them, not directly from them,
00:27:34.980 but by- So the company he works for is contracted by Hasbro. They made them go through mandatory
00:27:40.500 training where people, part of a company that does like, they produce books, indoctrinating books for
00:27:47.060 children about BLM and sort of stuff like that, like everything's racist. That's the company. They
00:27:52.340 gave a seminar as such that became mandatory training for these Hasbro employees, where it tells
00:27:59.540 you that three months old to six months old, your child has racial biases and preferences. A little bit
00:28:06.100 after that, they choose who they want to play with on the playground by race, which I didn't
00:28:11.060 experience as a child at all. Wait a minute, at three months of age? Three to six months old,
00:28:16.340 you'll see it in a second, but three to six months old is where they first develop their racial biases.
00:28:20.900 And then as they go through the first like five years of a child's life and tell you how racist they
00:28:25.140 are, by the time they get to five years old, they're telling you that it's only the white children
00:28:29.300 that choose their friends based on race. Black and Latinx or Latinx is what they call them.
00:28:37.140 Those children don't have those biases, but... By the way, I don't know one Latino or Latina
00:28:43.540 person I've ever met that identifies as Latinx. In fact, they hate that description. Of course not,
00:28:48.980 because they're Catholic most of the time from Central and South American countries and they only
00:28:53.140 believe in two genders, which is a controversial statement. I know everybody hit me up for that one.
00:28:59.140 I guess. But it just seems like they've got two people on screen here. You'll see them and
00:29:04.500 they're giving a revised history lesson of how racist infants and small children are. And then,
00:29:10.340 but once they get to the age of five, it's just only the white kids once they can start thinking.
00:29:14.820 Of course. Justin, can we play maybe the parts where we see the actual clips of this terrible training video?
00:29:22.500 By three to six months, babies are beginning to notice and already express preference by race.
00:29:33.060 There was research that looked at how by six months, infants living in a homogenous or same-race
00:29:39.060 neighborhood showed preferences for faces from their own racial groups, whereas infants living in more
00:29:45.220 racially diverse environments did not show that same preference for their own racial group.
00:29:56.100 Welcome back to Rebel News. Critical race theory is a term and idea that seeks to categorize racial groups
00:30:01.540 as the perpetually oppressed or oppressors, teaching students that they are subjected to
00:30:06.180 these realities as a matter of fact, as soon as they're born. Attempts to obfuscate these points are
00:30:11.620 top of mind for talk show hosts these days who insist that the definitions are just wrong.
00:30:16.580 What I don't think is right is that forcing eight-year-olds in Cupertino, California to
00:30:21.460 deconstruct their racial identities and then rank themselves according to power and privilege.
00:30:26.100 It's intersectionality theory, which was invented by Kimberly Crenshaw.
00:30:28.900 That's intersectionality. It's a separate thing.
00:30:30.020 Which is part of critical race theory.
00:30:31.780 No, it's not, dude. You had her on your show. You know this.
00:30:34.180 Yeah, she invented both things.
00:30:35.540 And here's the bottom line, Joy.
00:30:36.340 It's not critical race theory. It's just dividing people by race. They swear.
00:30:43.060 Teaching children to judge each other by race and convincing non-believers that racial inferiority
00:30:48.420 is a belief naturally held by all is very dangerous, of course. And these semantics will undoubtedly
00:30:54.500 play a part in this next story where toy giant Hasbro, they make toys for Disney, Marvel, and
00:31:00.020 Transformers. They've just been exposed for putting employees through mandatory training that states,
00:31:04.980 as a matter of fact, that infants as early as age three to six months are in fact guilty of racism.
00:31:11.140 By three to six months, babies are beginning to notice and already express preference by race.
00:31:17.860 There was research that looked at how by six months, infants living in a homogenous or same-race
00:31:23.940 neighborhood showed preferences for faces from their own racial groups, whereas infants living in more
00:31:30.100 racially diverse environments did not show that same preference for their own racial group. And this
00:31:35.540 is really important because we see that early exposure to different races is impacting these
00:31:40.660 preferences before babies are even one year old. Children as young as two are already using race to
00:31:47.700 reason about people's behaviors. And we may see this play out in daycare or on the playground and how kids are
00:31:55.860 starting to choose or exclude playmates and friends. The man who exposed these videos is David Johnson,
00:32:02.180 a packaging engineer who's contracted by Hasbro. He joins us now. Thanks for coming on, David. How are you?
00:32:08.900 I'm good. Thank you for having me. David, what was your immediate reaction when you
00:32:12.500 were exposed to these training videos? We're saying children under the age of one have racial biases.
00:32:18.020 How did you react to seeing that? I was pretty blown away. I wasn't unfamiliar with critical race
00:32:25.540 theory or intersectionality before. I've known about their ideology for a few years now, but just to have
00:32:32.100 it so in my face at my place of work was just a huge slap in the face or a splash of cold water. As soon
00:32:39.860 as I saw the video, I'm like, I have to let people know about this so that they can understand what's being
00:32:44.900 pushed on to their children. Was there any discussion amongst fellow employees who...
00:32:50.020 You know, Andrew, right off the hopper, the woman that was speaking there, Katie Ishizuka,
00:32:56.500 co-founder of something called The Conscious Kid. Yeah, that's the group that produces like the
00:33:01.540 indoctrinating books. You can go to their website and on the front, they just have
00:33:05.140 the examples of their books about everything's racist. What a perverse name for an organization,
00:33:09.460 The Conscious Kid, because I felt myself becoming unconscious as I listened to the drivel coming
00:33:14.180 out of that dingbat's mouth. But she made mention of the fact that studies show or the research
00:33:21.300 shows. And here's some homework for you. Get a copy of that research. Get a copy of that study. I'm
00:33:27.220 serious because, you know, a wonderful book, I think it was published in 1990 by Cynthia Crossan,
00:33:33.780 who was an editor, reporter at the Wall Street Journal. It's called Tainted Truth. And it was basically how
00:33:40.420 when a sponsor is doing a study, that by changing the degree, one thousandth of a degree, you can come
00:33:50.980 out with a very different conclusion than doing an unbiased study or research paper. In other words,
00:33:58.900 you can change the study to come up with the conclusion you wanted it to have. And if that's impossible,
00:34:05.460 well, what you could do to plan B, bury the study and make everybody sign a non-disclosure agreement
00:34:11.460 or else they don't get paid. That is what I think is happening here with research that shows a three
00:34:19.540 month old is developing racial bias. And of course, as you said earlier, it's only the white three month
00:34:26.980 old kids. How would you even... The child can't even speak.
00:34:31.940 Well, I think what's going on there, and of course, they don't get questioned on this because
00:34:36.100 they speak... My biggest problem is they speak so matter of fact about it. But when she's saying
00:34:40.420 that a child, three to six months old who grows up in their own, you know, racially homogenized
00:34:46.580 area and has a preference for a certain race of a face, it sounds to me like she's taking a baby
00:34:52.980 prefers the face of their parents who will look like them as their preference. Like that's literally
00:34:59.380 what happens is babies prefer the face of their own parents. And that's why they cry when somebody
00:35:04.580 else holds them. And then she gets into this whole thing about how toddlers, only white toddlers care
00:35:09.780 about this. And you know, it's a whole bunch of crap. And she sounds like Catherine McKenna when she
00:35:14.340 speaks and they don't get challenged at all. And there's a part that we didn't show there that you
00:35:18.260 can see if... I think if you watch the full video or go to the original, go to the website with our website
00:35:24.100 with the video in it. And you'll have it linked to the Project Veritas video where you can see the rest
00:35:28.980 of it. And they talk about how children start to prefer white people. And then after that statement,
00:35:38.500 she says, which of course is the privileged group in our society. So she just adds in her own little
00:35:43.700 factoids there that are so obviously true. And David, this is just going to enrage people. It's going to
00:35:48.900 think children that it's okay to hate a certain race. It's going to make another race of children
00:35:53.860 think that they're inferior or inherently pieces of garbage because they have no choice but to be,
00:35:59.780 like, see themselves as hateful. Well, 100%. I would make the argument that the most
00:36:05.060 un-racist demographic, if that is a word indeed, would be children because they have... I mean,
00:36:11.940 my argument, Andrew, is I don't think there is a DNA in any race which makes
00:36:18.340 a person hate another person based on race. I think it is learned through environment. In other
00:36:24.420 words, if you're a child growing up in a household in which, say, the mother and father are racist
00:36:30.900 against any one group, that might rub off on you. And you know what? It might not. You might actually
00:36:35.700 counter that kind of hateful environment, but it has more to do with nurturing the nature is what I'm
00:36:41.220 saying. Secondly, let's call this for what this is. Whether it's critical race theory, whether it's
00:36:48.180 Black Lives Matter, their basis in ideology is Marxism. And Marxism is always about tearing things down,
00:36:57.620 tearing down the establishment. And it is a sad situation that we're in that Marxists, I believe,
00:37:05.860 through 50, 60 years of indoctrination to everything from education to the judiciary,
00:37:13.060 to policing, to academia, have infiltrated all these organizations. And that's why Hasbro, the toy
00:37:21.140 company that should just be manufacturing play things, is instead indoctrinating their workers
00:37:30.100 with this outrageous garbage that is supposedly based on research. But like I said, I want to see
00:37:36.820 that research. I think it's bogus. I don't think it exists. I think it is deeply flawed. And I think
00:37:42.100 it is politically driven. And hopefully in the years to come, Andrew, we're going to have a backlash
00:37:48.900 to this kind of garbage because this is causing so much dissension out there and is doing the opposite
00:37:56.980 when it comes to fixing race relations.
00:37:59.540 Well, the reason I showed that Joy Reid clip, who's super far left on MSNBC, she's had the
00:38:05.780 person who coined the term critical race theory on, and she's also the same person who invented
00:38:11.380 intersectionality. So she didn't completely invent them, but she's one of the people that popularized
00:38:16.740 them and came up with these terms. Critical race theory is like a study and a paper done by this guy
00:38:24.660 in the 70s or 80s. I forget which it was, but she's not the exact inventor is my point there.
00:38:30.980 But now this argument that Joy Reid and other people are having to counter people's problems with
00:38:36.100 critical race theory is like, oh, that's not the exact definition of what critical race theory is. And that's
00:38:40.660 what she says with that guy in that clip. She says, oh, it's not Marxism. It's just critical race theory,
00:38:46.980 looking at policing and the justice system through the eyes of people who are non-white. And then he says,
00:38:53.140 well, she invented intersectionality and it's the same thing. She's like, oh no,
00:38:56.660 she invented them separately. They're two separate things. So now they want to play semantics about
00:39:00.740 what critical race theory is, even though it's clearly been, it's clearly become this encompassing
00:39:06.180 thing where you're teaching children to divide each other based on race, permanent oppressed and
00:39:10.900 oppressors. We all know what it is, but this is the way that they say, nobody knows what they're
00:39:15.540 talking about. This guy named Mark Lamont Hill does the same thing where he said recently that he
00:39:20.980 believes all white people are racist. They say, well, you haven't read the actual original
00:39:25.700 paper of critical race theory. So you saying that it's communist and Marcus Marxist and involves
00:39:30.260 intersectionality is wrong because it's actually just meant to be used in law. Like it's so easy to
00:39:35.780 predict just like any of these other topics, what exactly they're going to say once you actually
00:39:41.060 have the knowledge of what it is, because they can never get past point one. They think that they've,
00:39:46.580 I've got this one point and nobody else, because that's the people they surround themselves with,
00:39:50.740 nobody else is going to dig any deeper on this. And just like everything else in elections,
00:39:56.420 uh, whatever you want to political ideology you want to point out, if you just go the extra layer
00:40:01.700 deeper, especially with news stories, then you've already defeated 99% of arguments and you can predict
00:40:06.980 all the other ones. It's how people like myself or yourself, when we go out and do streeters and we get
00:40:11.860 crazy answers, we know exactly what their first response is going to be to a question because
00:40:16.900 they all have the same answer because they read something on Reddit or somebody shared a Facebook
00:40:21.860 post with them that, uh, is the truth that there were a now this video, the real reason why enemy
00:40:28.260 Paul is standing up for Israel and supporting their genocide, something like that. Or they are afraid
00:40:34.740 of speaking what they really feel because we live in a day and age of cancel culture, uh, whether it's
00:40:40.500 being deplatformed off a social media channel or even being excluded from your own social circle of
00:40:46.580 friends, that that's where we're at. And these, you know, this, this invention of words, intersectionality,
00:40:51.460 you know what I'd love? Here's my idea of intersectionality. Why don't we send Joy Reid
00:40:56.100 on a bicycle in her summer ensemble to the intersection of Portage and Maine in Winnipeg in January?
00:41:02.660 You know, that, that would be my kind of reality show. I mean, give me a break. Uh, you know,
00:41:07.860 it's so much mumbo jumbo. Um, and people are nodding their head in agreement, I think, Andrew,
00:41:15.540 to concepts that they don't even understand. Well, uh, for people who don't know who Joy Reid
00:41:20.980 exactly is, somehow she got a promotion to have her own show when she was caught with
00:41:25.540 old anti-gay blogs that she used to write, very much like Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks used to write
00:41:31.780 blogs about like fantasizing about rape. But Joy Reid's old blogs, for some reason,
00:41:36.500 everybody used to have a blog or about, uh, anti-gay stereotypes. And then she claimed it
00:41:41.700 wasn't her who wrote them, um, on her own blog. And, uh, she, it was hacked to that old story.
00:41:46.660 My account was hacked. And then somehow she got a promotion out of it. So that's who Joy Reid is.
00:41:50.660 And I want to, uh, transition your statement of people just saying, um, no comment, or I don't want
00:41:56.820 to comment on this because in a video you came out with the other day with a young, marvelous
00:42:01.700 Turkish superstar, Mocha, um, somebody drives by the people cleaning up one of the homeless
00:42:07.300 encampments and yells at these black guys saying that white people are doing this. And the black
00:42:11.780 guys laugh at them and say, point at their skin, like, what are you talking about? But when you
00:42:15.860 come up and ask them what was said, they're like, oh, no comment. Or they just say anything. Oh, it's
00:42:19.940 fine, sir. It's like, you're so afraid. These were three black guys. Yeah. You can't,
00:42:24.820 like, you're so, something so obviously stupid happened to you where the other person was
00:42:29.300 obviously wrong. And you're just like, oh, no, I can't give a comment on that because what,
00:42:32.980 you're going to get fired by the city. Uh, they're like, you're cleaning up a homeless encampment,
00:42:38.260 which is David Manzi's, uh, sounds like his year long project that he's been following. I know,
00:42:43.940 I know Mocha has been tracking these, but you got some blowback I hear. It was unbelievable. I mean,
00:42:50.100 here is some social justice warrior, presumably in his mom's Lincoln, uh, driving south on Bathurst,
00:42:56.580 yelling at these three obvious black gentlemen who are part of a security company, helping the cops
00:43:03.380 clean up and maintain order against the Antifa types, um, uh, being labeled, oh, I don't know,
00:43:09.860 some form of white supremacy. And, and you're right. When I went up to them and I said, uh, what do,
00:43:14.500 what do you feel about that comment? Uh, they, they clammed up and which is sad because what
00:43:20.100 they should have done is joked about it. Like they were to the cops. We, which we caught them on film.
00:43:25.780 Although one, he put his mask on, but I could tell under his mask, he was laughing.
00:43:29.460 So I want to see if there's any super chats or sorry, hyper chats down with YouTube, hyper chats,
00:43:35.620 um, from anyone who thinks that the park should not be cleared out. Cause I know some people think that,
00:43:41.140 um, some people, uh, in our company were sharing comments and photos of people disagreeing with
00:43:46.580 that. And to that, I would have to turn over to my cohost, David Menzies to tell them, I mean,
00:43:51.540 I'll say the part where if you are a drug addict, you can get help. There's plenty of help in Canada.
00:43:57.460 That's the thing. There's so many social services in Canada that I don't understand how anyone who's
00:44:02.500 not insane can't, can't get welfare. You can, if you go to a place like Oshawa, there's 55 rent
00:44:09.540 controlled apartment building where you can pay $150 a month and get welfare at the same time.
00:44:14.660 And as you say, there's how many, uh, places available in homeless shelters?
00:44:18.980 More than 6,000 shelter spaces. And in case you think these are horrible places to reside,
00:44:25.060 some of these shelter spaces... Supposed to a park.
00:44:26.580 Yeah. Some of these shelter spaces, Andrew, are hotels, like three, four star hotels that the city
00:44:32.580 is leasing to deal with the homeless situation. How is that, um, uh, you know, an affront to
00:44:40.100 someone's freedom? Because at the end of the day, I'm sorry, regardless of your circumstances,
00:44:45.060 you simply do not have the right to camp out overnight and do drugs.
00:44:49.220 Because then everyone can do it.
00:44:50.180 Yeah. In a public park, you know.
00:44:51.700 Oh, Justin, let's please queue up the part of the video where the guy drinking has a conversation
00:44:56.980 with David Menzies.
00:44:57.780 Oh, the Maple Leaf guy.
00:44:58.900 Yeah. There's a guy drinking...
00:45:00.180 I think we should give him a show.
00:45:01.220 There's a guy drinking cold shots at the park, which is the tiny cans of
00:45:05.460 extra, um, alcohol content, tiny beers. So either you're 18 and drinking those,
00:45:11.060 or you're an alcoholic. And he's yelling at David Menzies for reporting on this, not making it...
00:45:15.780 Well, no, no, no. I was on a, I was across the street and he welcomed the over to get an interview.
00:45:21.300 I didn't infringe upon his privacy and I just acquiesced to what he said. Yeah, so...
00:45:26.980 Typical Leafs fan.
00:45:29.060 Just kidding. I'm a Leafs fan. He's no dart guy. Do you know that guy?
00:45:32.180 Oh, yeah.
00:45:32.580 I remember that guy.
00:45:33.060 Dart guy's got his own radio show, doesn't he?
00:45:34.660 Oh, well, why? Listen, what's on local radio in Toronto right now? Andrew, I got to tell you,
00:45:40.100 if some of these cats don't get off the air, I'm going to stop breathing it, okay?
00:45:45.060 Well, I believe he's also an OHL scout, not to get too inside here.
00:45:48.580 Oh, okay.
00:45:48.900 He's got actual inside knowledge, but maybe he should have cold shot guy on, dart guy and cold shot.
00:45:53.860 All right, well, let's show cold shot guy and if you folks think he's worthy of his own show or
00:46:00.420 segment or regular appearance, so be it.
00:46:05.700 Yeah, rebel news.
00:46:14.420 Yeah.
00:46:14.980 Tell him, ma'am.
00:46:15.860 Okay.
00:46:16.580 So you called me over, sir?
00:46:18.340 You ever find a rebel yet?
00:46:20.820 How do you mean?
00:46:21.700 A rebel.
00:46:22.340 You know what a rebel is?
00:46:23.540 I think so, but in what context?
00:46:25.140 Okay, you explain it to me because I don't know.
00:46:26.980 I'm an uneducated guy.
00:46:28.340 Okay.
00:46:28.740 Let's hear your side.
00:46:29.860 You called me over here.
00:46:31.140 I called you over?
00:46:32.100 Well, you just did a second ago.
00:46:33.700 Okay, that's fair.
00:46:34.900 Yeah, I did.
00:46:35.700 So did you want to weigh in on this homeless encampment?
00:46:38.100 Weigh in on what?
00:46:39.060 On the homeless encampment being disassembled.
00:46:41.380 Yeah.
00:46:45.140 Were you a resident of the encampment, sir?
00:46:47.380 I'm entitled to my own opinion, but I'm not going to share with you.
00:46:51.300 Oh, okay.
00:46:51.860 Then why'd you call me over?
00:46:53.460 Why did I call you over?
00:46:54.420 Yeah.
00:46:56.900 I like your suit.
00:46:58.020 Oh, well, thank you very much.
00:46:59.140 But I don't like you.
00:47:00.340 Okay.
00:47:00.740 Well, you know what?
00:47:01.460 That's the beauty of the society we are in.
00:47:03.140 So I need a suit.
00:47:04.100 I got to go to a special function.
00:47:06.500 Can I borrow that?
00:47:07.460 What's the function?
00:47:08.580 Never mind.
00:47:10.020 I don't have to tell you that.
00:47:11.460 Well, you brought it up.
00:47:12.340 It's my birthday.
00:47:13.620 Oh, happy birthday.
00:47:14.420 How old?
00:47:14.660 Every day of the week, every day of the year.
00:47:17.380 Happy birthday, sir.
00:47:18.180 How old are you, attorney?
00:47:19.140 Who, me?
00:47:19.700 Yes.
00:47:20.020 Holy .
00:47:23.140 Not bad.
00:47:26.500 Are you old enough to drink alcohol legally now?
00:47:28.820 Who, me?
00:47:29.380 Yeah.
00:47:29.700 No.
00:47:30.180 No?
00:47:30.580 Oh, okay.
00:47:31.300 All right.
00:47:31.620 Well, never.
00:47:33.140 19, I'm sure, is just around the corner.
00:47:34.980 19?
00:47:35.540 Yeah.
00:47:36.100 Okay, then.
00:47:37.460 When I hit privy, I'll let you know.
00:47:39.780 Please.
00:47:40.180 You'll be the first one I call.
00:47:41.700 Please, I scare easy.
00:47:42.900 You do?
00:47:43.300 Uh, yes.
00:47:46.100 That's your life.
00:47:46.740 How about those Leafs?
00:47:47.780 What do you make of their season this year?
00:47:49.140 Yeah, you're wearing a Leaf shirt.
00:47:52.020 I'm wearing their shirt.
00:47:53.060 I'll tell you why.
00:47:54.420 It's 100% cotton.
00:47:55.860 I like that.
00:47:56.580 Okay, then.
00:47:57.380 All right.
00:47:58.100 It's clean, too.
00:47:58.900 Okay.
00:47:59.620 You like the color?
00:48:01.060 Who the **** cares what you like?
00:48:02.820 See you later.
00:48:03.620 Okay, thank you.
00:48:05.060 Really?
00:48:05.380 Who **** cares what I like?
00:48:08.740 You know, I'll tell you, he doesn't like me.
00:48:11.540 He said it himself, Andrew, but I really like him for some reason.
00:48:14.980 Cold shot guy.
00:48:15.700 Let's get him.
00:48:16.260 Yeah, cold shot guy.
00:48:17.220 He seems to be a very deep thinker.
00:48:19.300 Also, I mean, remember, he called me over from the other side of the street, and when
00:48:25.220 I ask a question, his question of who me, I had to resist saying, no, the tree behind
00:48:31.940 you is who I'm trying to interview.
00:48:33.780 But I think he is a resident of that tent city, and he didn't look too bad.
00:48:42.420 He didn't look too worse for wear.
00:48:43.700 He had a brand new 100% cotton, Toronto Maple Leaf shirt.
00:48:47.700 Looks like the real deal.
00:48:49.140 I can't afford those kind of shirts.
00:48:50.180 I mean, he's getting wasted on the middle of what, a Tuesday afternoon across the street
00:48:54.020 from a park, so he can't be having too much of a rough go.
00:48:56.420 You know, what function would a homeless man be going to, Andrew?
00:49:01.300 I don't think he's homeless.
00:49:02.580 Is there like TrampCon coming to Toronto or something?
00:49:05.620 David, you're being too insensitive.
00:49:07.620 We should let them live in the park where you've been bitten by dog or you've been attacked
00:49:11.700 by people.
00:49:12.340 Yes, that's true.
00:49:13.220 I'm pulling out my phone because we've got a couple chats in here.
00:49:15.140 Oh, fantastic.
00:49:15.780 A tip of $20 from Annalisa S.
00:49:19.220 Oh, thank you, Annalisa.
00:49:20.740 She's so generous.
00:49:21.700 Thank you, Annalisa.
00:49:23.380 Your ball of David Menzies hair is in the mail.
00:49:26.900 From Rumble, daughter of Narcissus.
00:49:29.940 Interesting name.
00:49:30.580 What about critical beard theory where babies cry when dad shaves off his beard?
00:49:35.540 Of course, babies prefer what they know.
00:49:37.540 It doesn't mean babies are beardest.
00:49:39.220 That's a good anagram or something.
00:49:41.860 Anagram's not what that is.
00:49:43.540 From Super U, Mog says, babies show preference to what they see all the time.
00:49:49.220 It has nothing to do with race.
00:49:50.180 That's exactly what I was saying.
00:49:52.340 Ryan Rosty says, could listen to that guy for hours.
00:49:56.580 I'm guessing he's thinking of cold shot guy there.
00:49:58.980 We need to get cold shot guy.
00:50:00.740 We need you.
00:50:01.380 Andrew says at rebelnews.com.
00:50:03.940 David Menzies.
00:50:04.660 I think just david at rebelnews.com is the email.
00:50:07.060 What do we have in the budget to pay cold shot guy?
00:50:11.220 Six cases of cold shots.
00:50:13.620 You know what?
00:50:14.420 They come in four packs.
00:50:15.700 They come in four packs because they're so strong.
00:50:17.700 Oh, well, you know what?
00:50:18.980 I would proceed that, Andrew, with the phrase, don't ask me how I know this, but.
00:50:24.420 I was 117.
00:50:26.260 That's how I know this.
00:50:27.220 Devil's Advocate says, David just attracts the winners, doesn't he?
00:50:32.500 You really do.
00:50:33.060 Just like in high school.
00:50:35.060 Dog biters, alcoholics.
00:50:38.020 Yeah, you know what?
00:50:38.740 I seem to be a chaos magnet for some reason, Andrew.
00:50:42.980 I try to be friendly and civil.
00:50:45.540 I have people dropping F-bombs on me, sicking dogs, throwing things at me.
00:50:50.100 And it's, you know, come on.
00:50:53.380 I'm the lovable one, don't you think?
00:50:55.380 Before we run out of time, let's pull up the Rebel News store.
00:50:58.820 Rebelnewsstore.com because there are new shirts dropping all the time.
00:51:03.380 And I like them, especially if we go to the new collection, Justin,
00:51:07.860 the producer who's having trouble finding our website right now.
00:51:10.820 It seems like a rebelnewsstore.com.
00:51:13.460 There it goes.
00:51:14.500 These new designs here, I really like.
00:51:18.100 If we keep going down.
00:51:19.540 Yes, I like the 1984 one there.
00:51:21.700 The Back to the Future one I've got in the mail right now.
00:51:24.580 Wow, look at you.
00:51:27.060 Thanks, David.
00:51:28.820 So there's so many new things dropping all the time.
00:51:31.060 I love Mocha Coke.
00:51:31.860 I'm a big fan of Soda Shirt.
00:51:34.660 So maybe I'll get that one too.
00:51:37.540 If you want a discount of 10% off, it's Andrew10 at checkout.
00:51:41.060 Or you can choose David10s, but that one won't work.
00:51:43.860 It'll give you actually $10 added.
00:51:45.220 Oh, look at that.
00:51:46.260 That's David Mezzi's real body, I've been told.
00:51:49.380 That's not Triple H.
00:51:50.500 Not exactly as advertised.
00:51:52.740 But at this point, Andrew, I want to say that the offer is still on the table.
00:51:56.340 And this is not company money.
00:51:58.100 It's my own dough.
00:51:59.300 First person I see wearing the Menzoid t-shirt in public, you're going to get a nice crisp
00:52:05.700 $100 bill courtesy of me for my gratitude that you would wear something with my likeness on it,
00:52:12.660 albeit a likeness not exactly as advertised.
00:52:15.780 Which racist is on the $100 bill?
00:52:19.940 Isn't it Borden?
00:52:20.580 I don't know.
00:52:21.460 Or is that the $50 bill?
00:52:22.740 Shout out to CFB Borden, terrible base in Ontario.
00:52:25.780 It's a terrible place to be at any time.
00:52:28.020 You used to be a soldier, didn't you?
00:52:29.460 I did, some might say.
00:52:30.260 Thank you for your service.
00:52:31.140 Thank you for your service of whatever it is you're doing these days.
00:52:34.980 What did you do in the army?
00:52:37.060 Do we have to talk about this?
00:52:38.100 Peeled potatoes?
00:52:39.460 Yeah.
00:52:40.260 I was on the show M.A.S.H. is basically what I did in the army.
00:52:45.700 Oh, you were Raider O'Reilly, I guess, right?
00:52:47.780 I don't know who that is.
00:52:48.580 Well, somebody's running for office, which is something I encourage Sheila Gunn-Reed to do all
00:52:53.780 the time.
00:52:54.420 I say, Sheila, run in small town Alberta.
00:52:56.980 You'll win.
00:52:57.780 She will win.
00:52:58.660 Exactly.
00:52:59.220 That's the point.
00:52:59.860 And then just do one term.
00:53:01.780 I don't know.
00:53:02.100 Is it six years if she's an MP or an MPP?
00:53:06.260 Just, you know, rustle feathers as much as you can.
00:53:09.140 But I can't convince her to do it.
00:53:10.420 She has this thing where she doesn't like the government, you know?
00:53:14.340 Well, you know what?
00:53:15.700 She'd be an amazing agent for change within the government.
00:53:18.660 And that's the thing.
00:53:19.540 We need people exactly like Sheila Gunn-Reed.
00:53:23.380 Exactly.
00:53:23.860 Andrew, too.
00:53:24.660 We've had all kinds of crazy leftists and progressives and Marxists and socialists
00:53:30.820 invade government.
00:53:31.940 Even people that are conservative in name only, getting involved with conservative parties
00:53:39.860 and progressive conservative parties.
00:53:41.060 Everyone but Derek Sloan.
00:53:42.260 Well, yeah.
00:53:43.220 Oh, yeah.
00:53:43.620 So much for the big tent, right?
00:53:45.300 You know, Aaron Otoo.
00:53:47.060 Oh, yeah.
00:53:47.460 It's a big tent.
00:53:48.260 Oh, you're a social conservative.
00:53:49.380 It's a big tent.
00:53:49.460 It's a huge tent.
00:53:50.180 Boy Scout walkout.
00:53:51.460 It's the biggest tent you've ever seen.
00:53:52.740 Yeah.
00:53:52.980 And it's people exactly like Sheila Gunn-Reed to get onto some kind of lever of power that is needed.
00:54:00.260 You know, producer Efron wants you to run.
00:54:03.300 You know what?
00:54:04.100 I think I would do myself in on day one by just simply honestly answering a question
00:54:11.060 and using impolite-
00:54:12.500 Why don't you run for mayor of Toronto?
00:54:14.180 Oh, well, yeah.
00:54:14.980 Wouldn't that be lovely?
00:54:16.500 You know what?
00:54:16.980 Maybe I should run for something as a social experiment just to-
00:54:20.020 But here's the problem.
00:54:20.900 You can get in that top five for whatever it is that gets you on the debate stage, I think.
00:54:24.500 What if, like, Jesse the body Ventura when he ran for governor and actually won, right,
00:54:30.260 which nobody expected at the time.
00:54:32.020 Mayor Cain?
00:54:32.740 Yeah.
00:54:33.060 But what if I win?
00:54:35.060 I mean, then I would have to leave Rebel News.
00:54:38.260 I can't-
00:54:38.820 I think what you're supposed to do if you win is you start a show about conspiracy theories
00:54:43.220 like Jesse Ventura where you demand to be led into every facility.
00:54:46.740 I'm a former governor.
00:54:47.860 I was a Navy SEAL, David.
00:54:49.540 Why can't I go in?
00:54:50.580 And then you can be the guy going to, like, the military bases demanding you get in because
00:54:55.140 you held office.
00:54:55.940 Yeah.
00:54:56.100 That's going to work really well.
00:54:58.180 It's a show on sci-fi or something you can have.
00:55:00.980 Maybe an A&E show.
00:55:02.340 Go gain 600 pounds.
00:55:04.260 You'll be on 600-pound life.
00:55:05.460 Oh, you know what?
00:55:06.500 If I don't get on my bike today, that might happen sometime soon.
00:55:10.180 But so what is the story with the PPC candidate?
00:55:14.820 Yeah, we want to mention Viva Frey, I believe it's pronounced, a fellow Frenchman like my
00:55:20.500 self, even though I'm not practicing.
00:55:23.620 He is running in some sort of jurisdiction in Quebec as a member of the PPC.
00:55:29.780 He's a good guy from what I've seen from him.
00:55:32.340 We've had interactions with him.
00:55:34.660 I believe Ezra was on Michaela Pearson's podcast with him.
00:55:39.700 So he's sort of, you know, if you like Rebel News or Ezra Levant, you're probably going to be on
00:55:44.260 his side policy-wise.
00:55:46.420 So he's running as a PPC candidate.
00:55:49.140 I think the idea here is we wish him all the best because it's not very often that people,
00:55:54.580 I mean, I like to point out the anti-lockdown groups.
00:55:58.420 What have they actually done?
00:55:59.460 Have they changed any policy?
00:56:00.980 Have they gone and done this mass non-compliance that they said they're going to do?
00:56:05.140 No.
00:56:06.500 Maybe somebody should run for office.
00:56:08.100 Maybe Rob Carbone should run for prime minister.
00:56:11.300 I mean, he's a billionaire.
00:56:13.060 He's the head of the Republican Party, I understand.
00:56:15.060 The party that doesn't exist.
00:56:17.060 He's a billionaire.
00:56:17.940 Wait, it's not being registered yet?
00:56:20.340 Not the last time I checked.
00:56:21.300 Oh, jeez.
00:56:22.100 That's a problem.
00:56:22.980 Rob Carbone, come on the David Menzies show and tell us how you made your billions, by the way.
00:56:27.860 There's no such thing as a David Menzies show.
00:56:30.260 There will be now.
00:56:32.100 You'll have a fake show just like he has a fake website standing in front of the green screen.
00:56:37.380 But I digress on that.
00:56:38.420 Justin, do we have more hyper chats that I can get to?
00:56:41.780 Yes, we do.
00:56:42.420 Of course we do.
00:56:43.380 Of course we do.
00:56:44.500 It better be...
00:56:45.540 Lots to talk about.
00:56:46.500 It better be about the homeless encampment, David Menzies.
00:56:49.300 Well, we have free speech here, so we'll talk about what they darn well pleased.
00:56:53.380 Devil's advocate.
00:56:55.460 I don't know.
00:56:55.940 We read that one where David attracts the winners.
00:56:59.140 Daughter of Narcissus again says,
00:57:00.660 David Menzies is like Detective Columbo.
00:57:02.980 Disarmingly well-mannered.
00:57:04.340 Then bam, tough question.
00:57:05.860 Now, I want to see...
00:57:07.140 I'm guessing people notice you have a new hat that you're wearing.
00:57:09.700 Yes.
00:57:10.020 So I want to see Superstar Mocha dressed in a suit wearing a hat and you dressed in a suit
00:57:16.260 wearing another hat.
00:57:17.220 Some sort of detective-like sketch for these homeless encampments.
00:57:20.740 That's a good idea, I think, that you should write down.
00:57:22.820 But you know what?
00:57:23.220 I think that was a very insightful comment because, first of all, back in the day when...
00:57:30.180 I think it was the ABC Weekly Mysteries, Columbo was...
00:57:34.500 You know, there was Macmillan and wife and so on and so forth.
00:57:37.300 Columbo was the five-coupon ride of that series.
00:57:41.780 And yeah, you know, the whole idea of Columbo, Detective Columbo, he had the frumpy raincoat.
00:57:47.860 He drove a piece of junk, French imported vehicle.
00:57:52.900 And he came across looking, you know, like he was in a haze.
00:57:58.020 And that's when the people he's investigating let their guard down and say something they probably
00:58:04.580 shouldn't have said because they just assume he's a dimwit.
00:58:09.140 And his famous line is, oh, just one more thing.
00:58:12.900 Which is what I always say when I'm being escorted out by security.
00:58:17.140 You know, get that final question in, you know, the killer question.
00:58:20.740 So, yeah, to be compared to you, Detective Columbo, that's a compliment.
00:58:25.380 And Tolly says on Subaru, it's funny how only conservatives are kicked out of the conservative party.
00:58:30.580 Well, you know, when you're Aaron O'Toole and you're Doug Ford,
00:58:33.140 and you don't really stand for anything at all other than, you know, nothing, I guess.
00:58:37.700 I tried to come up with something there.
00:58:39.620 Aaron O'Toole says he's against censorship, but didn't say anything when like, you know,
00:58:43.700 Trump was kicked off of 17 other things.
00:58:45.540 Oh, it's not in that country.
00:58:46.820 Oh, wait a minute.
00:58:47.780 You know, Andrew, you mentioned to the audience that you've already ordered the DeLorean T-shirt.
00:58:52.020 Well, if we got into a DeLorean with a flux capacitor and went back in time to July 2020,
00:58:58.500 Mr. O'Toole was pro-free speech and anti-cancel culture.
00:59:02.100 He said it at our own event.
00:59:03.620 And we go one year into, well, it wasn't even one year.
00:59:08.740 It was within months of becoming leader.
00:59:10.340 Suddenly, pro-cancel culture, anti-free speech.
00:59:13.860 This is a disaster.
00:59:14.820 And I'll tell you this, I know we have to go soon.
00:59:17.380 I think, I don't want this to happen, but I think it's going to happen.
00:59:21.300 I think the conservatives are going to get slaughtered in the next election.
00:59:24.180 I believe Ezra did some math.
00:59:26.580 He can see another 20 seats being lost by the Conservative Party.
00:59:30.660 And it is because of this kind of crap coming out of Aaron O'Toole's mouth.
00:59:36.260 Saying one thing that appealed to conservatives when he was vying for the leadership,
00:59:40.660 getting the leadership, doing another thing, courting the mainstream media,
00:59:44.500 the mean girls in the party.
00:59:46.420 Jeez, whose strategy was this?
00:59:48.900 Oh yeah, Andrew Scheer.
00:59:51.300 How did that work for you, Conservative Party of Canada?
00:59:53.860 I'm voting for that guy, John John, with the Hitler mustache.
00:59:58.580 Allegedly.
00:59:58.900 Do we have a photo of him?
01:00:00.180 I think, I think somewhere we've got to, I don't know.
01:00:03.700 But if we can come up with that in a minute, fine.
01:00:05.700 But he says 12 years ago, he dressed up as Charlie Chaplin.
01:00:08.980 Not sure why he took the picture of himself with his shirt off.
01:00:11.460 One of the pictures says, Hile John, or one of the comments, sorry.
01:00:15.460 It wasn't a new comment.
01:00:16.500 It was an old comment.
01:00:17.700 I really don't care.
01:00:18.740 I don't care if the guy's lying or telling the truth.
01:00:23.540 It was just a funny story.
01:00:24.980 And his name's John John.
01:00:26.100 If you're voting for a guy named John John, then there's a problem already.
01:00:29.220 Sounds like one of the Waltons.
01:00:30.500 Or was that John Boyd?
01:00:31.620 You know, folks, I'm going to give you some advice.
01:00:34.980 If you're a male and you want to grow a mustache, post Charlie Chaplin and Adolf Hitler.
01:00:40.180 Don't do the rectangle, or it's not Rob, what are they?
01:00:43.620 Yeah, the square, or is it a rectangle?
01:00:47.380 I'm sorry, I'm a grade 11 math dropout.
01:00:50.740 Don't do that linear, it looks like a piece of duct tape under your nose.
01:00:59.220 Menzies is like Ricky from Trailer Park Boyd.
01:01:01.700 He just got his grade 10.
01:01:02.660 Or better yet, just don't grow a mustache.
01:01:04.660 Don't, don't, don't.
01:01:05.540 There was that Michael Jordan commercial where he had the same mustache you recall.
01:01:09.300 Right, it's, it's just, it's going to be trouble.
01:01:12.660 I'm just saying that.
01:01:13.860 I think producer Justin's had enough of us.
01:01:16.100 Before we go, I want to ask you if you watched the show Kung Fu when it was out.
01:01:19.460 Oh, I sure did.
01:01:19.940 Of course.
01:01:20.740 Where Kung Fu The Legend Continues.
01:01:23.700 Oh, is this where it's a woke Kung Fu?
01:01:27.780 No, that was when he had the little kid, and he was just helping him go through life.
01:01:31.380 Oh, okay, because I thought, I heard there's a new Kung Fu, and I think the protagonist is
01:01:36.980 female, of course, because you have to reinvent all the time.
01:01:40.500 I believe the wife of Bruce Lee, who claimed that it was, the idea was stolen from them,
01:01:44.740 which it actually wasn't.
01:01:45.620 She's coming out with a new version of it.
01:01:47.220 Oh, okay, because it was David Carradine that played the title role.
01:01:50.900 Um, who is no longer with us.
01:01:54.500 Yes.
01:01:54.980 Uh, Quinn Tarantino says Bruce Lee's wife is a liar.
01:01:57.460 So we'll end on that.
01:01:59.460 Thanks, everybody, for watching.
01:02:00.820 Thanks for putting up with us.
01:02:02.180 David Menzies, last words, as you always want.
01:02:04.660 As always, stay sane.
01:02:20.900 Hi.
01:02:50.900 Thank you.
