00:00:00.000 good afternoon ladies and gentlemen you have tuned into the rebel news live stream on this
00:00:20.980 a tuesday june the 15th 2021 i'm david menzies and my co-host ah my co-host she's a little bit
00:00:29.180 sassy and a whole lot feisty she is the she-devil with the sword she is the khaleesi of northern
00:00:35.960 alberta she is sheila gun reed how you doing there sheila i have to turn down the audio before you
00:00:45.260 start screaming my name i'm doing great david i hope you had a great weekend uh i hope you had a
00:00:52.940 little time off i know you work just i mean religiously all weekend since the beginning of
00:00:58.240 the pandemic every single weekend you and the rest of the team are out there um fighting for freedom
00:01:02.940 and documenting in more instances than not the misdeeds of the police all across the country
00:01:09.040 well you know what sheila you are right i i think since the pandemic i have had i've counted them i
00:01:14.460 think three weekends off and i am not complaining i would rather be overworked than underworked
00:01:22.700 my goodness gracious during this last year and a half the misery i have seen out there in terms of
00:01:28.800 people losing their jobs i mean even if you're getting the serb just the idea of staying at home
00:01:34.020 trying to while away the time when i go down young street and other areas of the city sheila
00:01:39.180 the closed businesses that are never coming back it breaks my heart because that was somebody's dream
00:01:45.920 and they were working so and i am talking about businesses sheila this is very important this
00:01:51.580 wasn't some crazy startup that never had a hope in hades that the business plan was doomed from the
00:01:59.020 start these are businesses like the pickle barrel grand they were they were going to celebrate in
00:02:04.260 february their 40th anniversary four decades in the restaurant business that's incredible gone
00:02:10.920 and uh and to think just a year before 2020 2019 when the rafters were going all the way to the finals
00:02:18.400 you'd see people overflowing outside the restaurant outside the patio just to get a glimpse of the screen
00:02:24.940 wow just in the space of a year how much everything has changed so uh if there is news and and it tends
00:02:34.060 to be sheila that the news is on the weekends that that's when the anti-lockdown protests happen
00:02:40.120 that's when the illegal church services happen and while the mainstream media would rather sit that
00:02:46.340 one out and pretend it's not happening and that's what they've been doing they have been missing so
00:02:51.660 much so much real news well we go out there so um i would gladly give up any kind of r and r to bring
00:02:59.480 the news to our folks and i'm very grateful to be in this job 100 yeah if they're not completely
00:03:05.900 ignoring the news they're spinning it in such a way that makes you sick yeah you know it gives you
00:03:11.040 vertigo and nausea because they're just spinning so hard um like when they call um pastors who are
00:03:18.360 defying the lockdown in obedience to god they'll call them scofflaws like like they're shoplifters
00:03:25.580 or something i mean it's just so ridiculous um and you know they don't like us in the mainstream media
00:03:31.480 and that's fine oftentimes the feeling is mutual but more often than not i care so little about
00:03:37.860 what they're doing because i'm too busy actually doing the news that i i don't pay attention to a
00:03:43.220 lot of it and i don't take their criticism of me personally because i feel like a lot of it is
00:03:47.760 jealousy um we are pretty free to talk about whatever we want to talk about here at rebel news
00:03:53.240 and fight for the causes that matter to us and for them um even i think the ones that are more
00:03:59.080 right-leaning and and more freedom oriented they have to go through assignment editors
00:04:04.700 um who are completely fundamentally in favor of the lockdowns and business closures and arresting
00:04:13.540 pastors and all those sorts of things so that was a long-winded way of saying as long as they remain
00:04:19.920 terrible you and i will have job security for as long as we want oh i sure hope so sheila and one thing
00:04:25.860 you said there that i want to pick up on the jealousy uh part of it i've heard our beloved
00:04:31.320 boss ezreal event say that too that he thinks part of the reason why we get that resentment is our
00:04:37.780 freedom our freedom to report our freedom to get the other side of the story something that the
00:04:43.640 mainstream media used to do before it became the praetorian guard of the government and the bureaucracy
00:04:49.460 in so many cases and i think there are people who um just look upon what we're doing the stories that
00:04:57.460 we're breaking the kind of coverage we're uh producing and they're saying you know i know
00:05:03.720 about this story but i've got handcuffs on my my higher-ups won't let me report this that's how it
00:05:10.500 works these days folks in the news business make no mistake about it it's a chain of command and
00:05:15.640 sometimes the reporters you see on the floor they're just getting messages in their earpiece
00:05:20.460 of how to uh deliver the narrative yeah and i feel kind of bad for some of the older journalists who
00:05:31.000 they went through journalism school if they did it all through uh a time when it wasn't so social
00:05:38.160 justice oriented they were you know they they went through journalism school when the idea of journalism
00:05:44.800 was to hold politicians and powerful people accountable and to speak the truth and to speak
00:05:50.380 truth to power and now it's completely the opposite what they seem to do is they hold the people and
00:05:58.740 the public and the little guy to account on behalf of the politicians how many stories do we see
00:06:04.500 about uh justin trudeau or some powerful women in politics getting mean tweets you know you're and
00:06:13.600 chasing down grandmas who sent them who cares who cares yeah you're you're so right uh sheila i i think
00:06:21.360 the slogan of the toronto star for decades was uh we're here to comfort the afflicted and afflict the
00:06:28.100 comfortable and that seems to have gone complete role reversal because the comfortable are well they're
00:06:35.520 the people in government cutting checks for the toronto star and their other brother and ezra made
00:06:40.640 another great point too that surely makes justin trudeau smile he can barely contain a smile when
00:06:47.020 he's talking about the train seals in the mainstream media and that is for 595 million dollars
00:06:56.080 which in the grand scheme of things in in terms of the silicon valley tech giants and whatnot sheila
00:07:03.680 is really chump change he bought them off he bought off the newspapers for for just over half a billion dollars
00:07:12.740 oh wow it's about the deal of the century yeah they went cheap didn't they in a country of you know
00:07:22.720 approaching 40 million uh we think of ourselves as a modern grown-up country and yet our entire news media
00:07:30.320 could be bought off for a little over half a billion dollars wow yeah and uh and of course they
00:07:38.520 want more and they are now advertising um front page you know they're using the front pages of their
00:07:46.580 newspapers i'm talking about the post media chain here which is the biggest um with um those bizarre
00:07:52.920 letters sheila have you seen them they're addressed to justin trudeau it's half begging and half admonishment
00:07:59.440 oh you said you were gonna give us more it's like the media is this oliver twist collective
00:08:07.600 with their empty porridge bowl up to the liberal party asking for more money it's like they have no
00:08:14.760 shame you stole the words right out of my mouth i was gonna say oliver twist except entitled and that
00:08:21.200 you know like they they're they're begging but they also feel entitled and they're offended
00:08:27.020 because justin trudeau hasn't given them enough of somebody else's money who wasn't willing to pay
00:08:35.660 for them in the first place nobody is buying your garbage nobody and so instead of doing something to
00:08:43.040 fix the reason nobody's buying your garbage you're making justin trudeau give money from the people who
00:08:51.640 refuse to buy your product you know you're so right sheila it's an entitled oliver twist you'd have to
00:08:57.680 uh change the phrase to read please sir i want more caviar yeah speaking of uh other people's money
00:09:07.200 and taking money from justin trudeau we'll never do that and that's why i want to tell you where you
00:09:12.100 can find us today um and how you can support the work that we do um of your own free will we're not
00:09:18.260 going to have some politician snatch your hard-earned money uh so you can give it to us if you want to
00:09:23.340 give it to us uh please that'd be great because we've got a lot of work to do and a lot of stories
00:09:28.900 to tell um right now we are currently streaming on the censorship platform of youtube and i call it
00:09:35.100 the censorship platform of youtube because uh they have completely demonetized us and so if you do
00:09:41.760 incidentally see an ad in front of our content that's youtube taking all the proceeds of that um
00:09:47.680 and they don't allow for super chats anymore but we are on youtube still kind of for spite but kind of
00:09:55.520 so that people can find us there uh and we don't want to abandon the nearly 1.5 million subscribers
00:10:01.980 that we have there right now however we'd love it if you would migrate away from the censorship
00:10:09.780 platform over to a platform that doesn't hate you because i don't even care if a platform likes me
00:10:14.980 i just don't want them to actively hate me and so over on rumble is where we are also right now
00:10:22.480 uh streaming on rumble you can watch us live there um you can also watch us live on super you and on
00:10:28.660 super you you can do something called a super you shout so you can um interact with some people who
00:10:34.560 are watching at the same time sort of that thing that you like about youtube but again super you
00:10:38.260 doesn't hate you and over on odyssey now on odyssey you can do something else too besides leave a chat
00:10:45.440 you can support the work that we do completely willingly by buying some of odyssey's cryptocurrency
00:10:53.780 it's called a library um and you can donate some of that to us and uh we'll read your comment on air
00:11:02.140 and it's a great way to support us and support these up and coming platforms who apparently care
00:11:07.580 deeply about free speech and not about your politics what a concept day sheila and you know
00:11:13.580 without further ado why don't we go to the top story i think and and i got to say sheila and maybe
00:11:19.980 this is a a preamble warning some of this content i found disturbing i think when you see children
00:11:27.840 crying as their father is taken away and in a police cruiser not for any kind of real crime like
00:11:37.600 assault or murder or or rape or what have you but for preaching the gospel men uh i i don't know what
00:11:47.040 these calgary police are made of that they they can carry out this little jihad uh when they go about
00:11:54.900 uh resting um uh preachers but of course turn a blind eye to the elite politicians at the uh what's
00:12:02.320 it called the sky palace you know wow what a fitting name a palace up in the sky it doesn't get any more
00:12:10.140 visual than that in any event um folks uh like i said it's uh it's a little cringy and disturbing
00:12:18.120 when you see uh this video and thankfully uh our man adam was on the scene uh to record it because
00:12:26.040 you're not going to see it on any of the other mainstream news platforms as sheila and i discussed
00:12:30.620 before so here is the latest chapter in the saga of pastor tim rebel news and i'm outside of the home
00:12:38.000 of pastor tim stevens pastor tim was once again taken into custody numerous police vehicles arrived and
00:12:44.240 put him in a car taking him away from his families it was an extremely emotional and harrowing ordeal
00:12:50.100 and we were there to capture it as it happened i'm going to let you go now to the footage of his arrest
00:12:55.460 served okay and then you had that gathering on june the 6th yeah okay so that's where you're under
00:13:01.840 arrest for for breaking that for disobeying that order all right can you tell me how that order
00:13:07.740 actually applies to me you were served with it and then there was a gathering one of them basically
00:13:13.220 it says it was a gathering so but the order listed chris scott um and those who worked with him and i
00:13:20.660 have no association with the whistle stop cafe or anybody who works with them do you have the order
00:13:25.680 with you but it's anybody i don't have the actual order with me okay okay so the investigators that
00:13:30.920 dealt with it have have done that and then i have the order that's basically on um just on our cad so
00:13:39.160 i don't actually have a print on it and i just have the affidavit that you were actually served
00:13:42.480 so these are the laws that everyone in canada basically has agreed to abide by
00:13:46.440 right jason kenny can have his dinner up in the sky palace and no one's coming to his house to take
00:13:51.040 him to jail you know what it's like i said it has nothing to do with with that i'm dealing with this
00:13:58.820 right and every every police officer i talk to you they all say same thing i'm just doing my job
00:14:03.280 to see my job okay but every single one of us like me included my parents go to church they've
00:14:09.840 been doing church online we've been basically been abiding by all these orders that we don't like them
00:14:14.540 right but right now it's the laws that they basically laid out before us if we don't like
00:14:19.920 them we have a system where we can vote we can change governments we can do those things but right
00:14:25.080 now this is the government that we have and we're hired to uphold those laws that basically the
00:14:31.280 general public the majority of people have voted can i ask you what's the highest law of our land
00:14:35.700 what is the highest law of our land yeah what's the highest law of our land by which all the laws
00:14:41.040 are tested it's our it's our charter of rights and freedoms yes and end of that law all citizens
00:14:46.540 of canada are granted religious freedom freedom association expression and do we not still have
00:14:51.520 that like if they told you cannot i can't assemble i can't have people in my home i can't express
00:14:57.180 myself i have to wear a mask so yeah so all those rights are being suppressed and we've tried to
00:15:02.160 bring court action and it still hasn't been heard in court 15 months later okay and it's not until
00:15:06.660 the end of september and he's not unprecedented in times when it comes to certain things no it's not
00:15:10.980 you know you may not believe it right but well i do believe it but if you if you look out there
00:15:15.720 it's not i know it's not a black plague right in my god it doesn't seem like it doesn't but maybe
00:15:20.660 maybe the steps that we have taken have not like overwhelmed the health care system i don't know
00:15:24.460 right but like i said i'm not the person who wrote the law i know you know
00:15:28.940 this is this is incredible it's incredible you know they could they can they can have their
00:15:38.000 gathering in the sky palace and yet a pastor who gathers for church outside is being arrested
00:15:43.020 yeah you know because because the rules certainly don't apply to everyone equally and they're not
00:15:49.660 enforced to everyone equally like why is it only why is it pastors that keep getting arrested for this
00:15:54.260 and and if you have parents who who go to church or you understand that our lord jesus christ
00:16:00.360 actually commands us to gather and to meet and he also told us wherever two or three are gathered
00:16:04.320 there he is in the midst of us so we don't need a huge gatherer if you want to talk about that
00:16:07.440 we're not talking about that right now we're just doing our job okay so and if you hadn't
00:16:13.540 basically broken the order or the rules that are set out right now i wouldn't be here
00:16:18.400 right do i want to be here no right yes and when and when laws are unjust and it's incumbent upon
00:16:27.060 those who are righteous we have to stand up and say no we have one of the best systems in the world
00:16:30.600 that we can we can vote you're putting pastors in jail we can change laws like that's not the best
00:16:34.340 who's right now sorry who's putting pastor in jail you are right now i mean i'm doing my job by taking
00:16:41.060 him but then this morning i'll call the constitution constitution i i i dress people for theft i rest
00:16:49.180 people whenever they break the law this is a rule and the law in the land right now so i have to arrest
00:16:55.920 your husband when i arrest someone for theft i don't want to arrest that person and deal with them
00:16:59.880 but if they break a law that i'm basically sworn to uphold i have to arrest him so what so the actions
00:17:06.840 that's ever broken these no but it's the same that's the same yes i've broken rules you have
00:17:12.380 too of course i have so why are you not under threat of arrest right now okay so this is the
00:17:16.600 same logic we get whenever i pull someone over for speeding they're like well that person just sped by
00:17:20.420 why didn't you arrest them i can't so right now i'm dealing with your husband your husband's actions
00:17:25.080 have put me in this position where i am acting what i'm sworn to do so you aren't ever going to be in
00:17:30.800 this position but you can continue to break them as well i don't understand you're chasing but so
00:17:36.980 so the public health order do you understand do you understand why i'm here i do okay so and my
00:17:42.200 do you know what my job is yes yes so am i doing my job no one's questioning that you're not doing
00:17:48.260 your job i know so that's what i'm doing so your husband has agreed to come with he knows that he's
00:17:52.500 basically i'm talking about the ethics of arresting someone for breaking public health guidelines
00:17:58.300 it's gone beyond that that you also break them no you asked if i you asked if i broke you just
00:18:04.240 asked us if i've broken other rules and laws of course i have every single one here not one of us
00:18:09.120 is perfect again do you know somebody who's perfect the lord jesus yes is he here right now no no and
00:18:16.880 we're all supposed to basically attribute and go by him and like even god said you know give on to
00:18:21.900 caesar what is caesar's right so we're not going to give this philosophy and the gathering of the
00:18:26.140 church is not caesar's no it's not right but again a lot of other people are suffering and a lot of
00:18:31.320 other people are abiding by the rules by meeting online do you have things meeting in smaller groups
00:18:35.500 that they're allowed to right you can bring up the premier if you want right and that's something he's
00:18:40.180 going to have to answer to too whether the people who vote for him are going to say get out of here
00:18:43.840 but that's our system we want a civil system because i'm not you're you haven't got orders to do it
00:18:49.960 and you know you guys honestly the sooner that we go the sooner you get back to your family
00:18:55.000 yeah well no he's already with us yeah yes but he has to go
00:19:00.300 the sooner you go the sooner you guys guys come here come get me come get me out here
00:19:04.220 i'll make a pretty good job
00:19:11.220 yeah
00:19:12.240 yeah
00:19:16.320 yeah
00:19:19.380 yeah
00:19:23.540 yeah
00:19:25.820 yeah
00:19:28.240 yeah
00:19:30.400 yeah
00:19:30.860 yeah
00:19:31.460 Okay, you get mommy lots of hugs.
00:19:41.260 Okay, mommy lots of hugs.
00:19:43.320 Okay, guys?
00:19:45.900 God, I pray for you to help and help the kids.
00:19:53.520 God, we just do pray that you thank you to build your church through this time, giving yourself glory.
00:19:58.820 We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
00:20:01.460 Don't be angry.
00:20:09.680 No anger.
00:20:11.000 Okay.
00:20:12.140 Bye.
00:20:12.720 I'm going to put you back in my pocket right there.
00:20:17.400 So before I put you in the back, put your hands on the side of the carp.
00:20:45.400 So nothing sharp, nothing basically at all in your pocket, there's nothing we need to worry about?
00:20:50.400 Nope.
00:20:59.400 Bye daddy!
00:21:15.400 I understand where you're coming from.
00:21:37.400 When they talk about the validity of those things, they punted and they just say, did you break the order? Now go to jail.
00:21:43.400 But they won't even discuss the validity of any of those orders.
00:21:46.400 And when you say that there's an opportunity to go through the legal means, we're 15, 16 months into this and they have yet to provide anything in court.
00:21:56.400 That's not like a delayed access to justice is not just at all.
00:22:00.400 Yeah, it's frustrating. Absolutely it's frustrating.
00:22:03.400 Yes, it's frustrating.
00:22:04.400 It's frustrating for us too, right?
00:22:06.400 And do you have a means to speak about those kinds of frustrations?
00:22:10.400 Same as you.
00:22:11.400 If my personal beliefs were the same as yours, then I would absolutely speak on that behalf.
00:22:15.400 No other jurisdiction is imprisoning pastors for breaking health orders.
00:22:19.400 I'm not going to speak to that, okay?
00:22:21.400 In Canada.
00:22:22.400 Okay.
00:22:23.400 It's only Alberta.
00:22:24.400 I would say continue the course that you're continuing on.
00:22:26.400 Push further ahead.
00:22:27.400 Push harder if you need to.
00:22:28.400 And that's all I can tell you.
00:22:29.400 How much harder can we push here?
00:22:31.400 I don't know how far you've gotten.
00:22:32.400 Will you arrest me and take me away from them too?
00:22:34.400 I have no reason to arrest you, right?
00:22:36.400 So I'm going to leave it at that, okay?
00:22:38.400 But I say just stay your course.
00:22:40.400 If you feel that strongly about it, just stay the course, okay?
00:22:43.400 Contact your lawyers after we leave today.
00:22:45.400 Tell them what happened.
00:22:46.400 Like these guys are taping, right?
00:22:48.400 You know we're taping.
00:22:49.400 They're taping.
00:22:50.400 You have your supporters.
00:22:51.400 Follow through on what you can and what you feel is right, okay?
00:22:56.400 Do you feel this is right?
00:23:00.400 Can you guys share maybe why Jason Kenney gets a free pass and you're arresting pastors
00:23:04.400 across the province?
00:23:06.400 Any comment, any emotion for this family whatsoever?
00:23:08.400 No, you're just going to drive off just like that.
00:23:10.400 Is this why you became a police officer?
00:23:12.400 No, sorry I did not.
00:23:13.400 Have a good day.
00:23:26.400 Don't block the car though, so they don't get too long.
00:23:28.400 hi let's get into a story.
00:23:29.400 Okay.
00:23:31.400 Are we going to go home?
00:23:33.400 She happens to know what just like it, she's terrible looking for was actually,
00:23:34.400 she's a разрезsian member
00:23:36.400 questi group who better than hot meal used for milk or protein.
00:23:39.400 She's really good looking for the Maur kunnen.
00:23:40.400 Can you keep allぐbring?
00:23:41.400 She's like an hour.
00:23:42.400 Bye.
00:23:43.400 Bye.
00:23:44.400 Bye guys.
00:23:45.400 Okay.
00:23:46.400 Jesse.
00:23:47.400 Oh my gosh!
00:23:48.400 .
00:23:49.400 Guys.
00:23:50.400 Alright, we're going to move okay?
00:23:51.400 All right, we're going to move, okay?
00:23:56.360 Not too close, not too close.
00:23:58.220 Okay, guys, step back, please.
00:24:02.620 Bye, Dad.
00:24:03.800 I love you very much, okay?
00:24:06.260 Stay strong, okay?
00:24:08.080 Bryce will build his church.
00:24:09.140 Wow, that puts a lump in my throat, Sheila.
00:24:22.240 I mean, there's so much to unpack there.
00:24:25.580 You know, I couldn't help but notice on those Calgary police SUVs,
00:24:29.720 I guess it's the slogan of the Calgary police,
00:24:32.420 vigilance, courage, pride.
00:24:34.100 I don't know if that's the traditional definition of pride
00:24:37.020 or they've just got pride there for gay pride month right now.
00:24:41.040 Who knows?
00:24:41.880 But, you know, I'll tell you,
00:24:43.640 Ezra had a fantastic monologue yesterday
00:24:45.980 where he named Staff Sergeant McLean the worst cop in Canada.
00:24:51.700 He's with the Peterborough Police Service
00:24:54.060 in regard to my personal situation.
00:24:58.240 Maybe Ezra jumped the gun.
00:25:00.920 Maybe, I don't have the name of that,
00:25:04.160 you know, the bald police officer, the guy in charge,
00:25:07.020 let's just call him Sergeant Stodanko,
00:25:09.120 for lack of a better term,
00:25:10.960 but the condescending way he was treating this pastor.
00:25:17.580 And why don't we get an answer for,
00:25:20.360 the pastor asked it, Adam asked it,
00:25:22.840 why does the pastor get hauled away?
00:25:26.020 I guess they spared him handcuffs,
00:25:27.520 unlike Maxime Bernier in Manitoba on Friday.
00:25:32.620 So, thank goodness for little miracles.
00:25:35.740 But, why don't we get an answer to that question?
00:25:38.340 Why him and why not the head honcho in charge,
00:25:42.060 Jason Kenney and all his elite pals at the Sky Palace?
00:25:47.000 Why is that?
00:25:47.900 Oops, sorry guys, we'll try harder next time.
00:25:52.100 That is just shameful.
00:25:54.360 And again, Sheila, it comes down to
00:25:57.180 back when Jason Kenney was an MP
00:25:59.780 and he was all about religious freedom the world over,
00:26:03.300 and look what's happening in Alberta.
00:26:06.020 Could you ever have dreamed this?
00:26:09.420 David, I hope those images
00:26:12.740 of Tim's kids reaching into that cop car
00:26:16.480 to hold their dad's hand,
00:26:18.400 I hope that that is a campaign ad against Jason Kenney.
00:26:21.220 I personally, after, I mean, I'm furious.
00:26:25.200 I had to stop several times
00:26:26.840 when I was watching the video last night
00:26:28.600 just to get through it.
00:26:30.460 I hope that that is put on a billboard truck
00:26:34.100 and it is driven around
00:26:35.820 every single Jason Kenney campaign event forever.
00:26:39.780 I hope those images hang like a millstone
00:26:42.580 around his neck forever.
00:26:44.920 I wonder if Jason Kenney can hear
00:26:47.800 the shrieking and sobbing
00:26:49.460 of Tim and Raquel's frightened children
00:26:51.680 all the way up there in Sky Palace.
00:26:54.220 And boy, you know, I get it.
00:26:57.400 I get it now.
00:26:58.160 You've got to put down a lot of Jameson
00:27:00.580 to be able to sleep at night
00:27:02.220 when you're the man responsible
00:27:03.940 for what happened to Tim yesterday.
00:27:07.200 And did you preface Tim with those cops?
00:27:10.500 He's praying with his children.
00:27:12.220 He's telling them, don't be angry.
00:27:14.280 Don't be angry.
00:27:15.240 And those cops are blaming Tim
00:27:18.460 for what they have to go through,
00:27:20.200 how hard it is on them.
00:27:21.780 The woman cop says,
00:27:23.360 I know this is frustrating for me too.
00:27:26.600 You're telling this to Raquel Stevens
00:27:28.560 as she's holding her brand new baby,
00:27:31.580 crying kids all around.
00:27:32.680 You're taking her husband away for what?
00:27:34.400 What's his crime?
00:27:35.400 Holding church.
00:27:36.720 And the other cop says,
00:27:38.520 your husband's actions,
00:27:40.320 I wrote it down as he was saying it,
00:27:41.940 your husband's actions have put me in this position.
00:27:46.280 Yes.
00:27:46.580 That man is the worst cop in Canada.
00:27:50.120 And as he was fighting with Tim over scripture,
00:27:53.440 by the way,
00:27:54.600 I don't want a cop that's going to cite scripture.
00:27:57.180 I really don't.
00:28:00.400 Because...
00:28:00.880 The render on to Caesar line you're referring to here.
00:28:03.840 Yeah.
00:28:05.800 Unbelievable.
00:28:07.060 Let's go back a little
00:28:08.120 because it reminded me of something
00:28:09.580 from the Merchant of Venice.
00:28:11.000 Because that phrase,
00:28:14.660 and I wanted,
00:28:15.160 I brought it up as he was saying it
00:28:16.440 because I want to get it right.
00:28:17.620 The devil can cite scripture for his purpose.
00:28:20.020 An evil soul producing holy witness
00:28:22.300 is like a villain with a smiling cheek.
00:28:25.120 A goodly apple rotten at the heart.
00:28:28.200 Oh, what a goodly outside falsehood hath.
00:28:31.320 And that's what it reminded me of.
00:28:33.180 You know,
00:28:33.540 when he is saying to Tim Stevens,
00:28:35.780 a pastor,
00:28:37.020 and again,
00:28:37.920 this brings me back to
00:28:39.100 do whatever you want to do in your church.
00:28:40.880 I don't care.
00:28:41.980 And I don't want the state to care.
00:28:43.600 And I especially don't want
00:28:44.920 officers of the state
00:28:46.820 telling somebody else
00:28:48.280 what they should be doing in their church,
00:28:49.760 which is exactly what this cop did
00:28:51.240 when he quoted
00:28:52.420 Mark 12, 17.
00:28:56.580 Render unto Caesar
00:28:57.540 that which is Caesar's.
00:28:59.520 That's the preface there.
00:29:00.920 That which is Caesar's.
00:29:02.040 The next part of that is
00:29:03.060 render unto God
00:29:04.380 that which is God's.
00:29:05.760 As in the church belongs to God
00:29:07.960 and not the state.
00:29:09.720 Do what you need to do for the state,
00:29:11.420 but do not suck things into the state
00:29:13.780 that don't belong to the state.
00:29:15.380 I cannot get over
00:29:16.820 the pathetic attempts
00:29:18.460 of that Roman soldier,
00:29:19.600 I'll call him,
00:29:20.740 to twist scripture.
00:29:22.540 There are those of us
00:29:23.440 who believe in separation
00:29:24.420 of church and state,
00:29:25.400 like me.
00:29:26.340 As in,
00:29:26.960 I don't want the church
00:29:27.940 molested by the state.
00:29:29.420 And I don't want to hear
00:29:30.940 a weak theological argument
00:29:32.320 from a cop
00:29:32.920 who doesn't have
00:29:33.520 any comprehension
00:29:34.360 of what's going on.
00:29:37.000 And finally,
00:29:38.860 for context,
00:29:40.180 do you know how many
00:29:41.180 new coronavirus cases
00:29:43.400 were diagnosed
00:29:45.260 in Alberta yesterday?
00:29:48.020 A hundred and fifteen
00:29:49.660 in a province of 4.5 million.
00:29:53.140 Tim Stevens is not only
00:29:54.540 being arrested
00:29:55.360 under an order
00:29:56.100 that doesn't apply to him
00:29:57.300 at all,
00:29:58.100 but secondarily
00:29:59.640 for a health emergency
00:30:01.140 that no longer exists.
00:30:03.160 Shame.
00:30:03.600 Shame on everybody involved here.
00:30:05.120 It's one of the worst things
00:30:06.040 I've ever seen.
00:30:06.920 It is shameful.
00:30:07.900 And two things, Sheila.
00:30:08.960 One is the mixed messages.
00:30:10.580 Those cops were saying,
00:30:12.640 well,
00:30:12.940 if you hadn't put us
00:30:14.360 in this predicament,
00:30:15.420 we wouldn't be here.
00:30:16.600 We wouldn't be arresting you.
00:30:17.620 And then the female officer
00:30:19.260 says to Tim Stevens' wife,
00:30:22.040 stay the course.
00:30:23.460 Basically,
00:30:24.040 fight for what you believe in.
00:30:25.260 But wait a minute.
00:30:26.360 Fighting for what I believe in
00:30:27.880 brings you to my front door
00:30:29.920 and gets my husband
00:30:31.120 hauled away
00:30:31.840 in a police SUV.
00:30:33.740 What kind of garbage is that?
00:30:35.560 Stay the course.
00:30:37.340 She's basically saying,
00:30:38.660 yeah,
00:30:38.880 break the law
00:30:39.680 and we'll be back here again.
00:30:41.720 And the other thing,
00:30:42.860 the law,
00:30:43.940 this law
00:30:44.820 that they're saying
00:30:45.860 we are so beholden
00:30:47.520 to uphold
00:30:48.460 and, you know,
00:30:49.240 and if you don't like it,
00:30:50.220 well, you know,
00:30:51.000 there's a change of government
00:30:52.420 at a future date
00:30:53.480 in which in Alberta's case
00:30:54.560 is two years,
00:30:55.260 I believe,
00:30:55.600 before there's another
00:30:56.320 provincial election.
00:30:57.640 Wait a minute.
00:30:59.160 As Ezra has pointed out
00:31:00.740 on several occasions too,
00:31:02.420 Sheila,
00:31:02.980 a lot of this
00:31:03.900 so-called law
00:31:05.300 has basically
00:31:06.600 been written
00:31:08.040 by
00:31:08.840 unaccountable,
00:31:10.680 unelected
00:31:11.760 health bureaucrats.
00:31:13.720 And I refuse to call them
00:31:15.180 top doctors
00:31:16.380 like the mainstream media does.
00:31:18.380 Most of these cats
00:31:19.320 haven't practiced
00:31:20.040 medicine in decades
00:31:21.460 if they practice it at all.
00:31:23.260 So this,
00:31:24.480 these,
00:31:25.580 it's not so much law,
00:31:26.880 it's rules
00:31:27.700 that are being put in place
00:31:29.340 by people
00:31:30.060 who are never elected,
00:31:31.680 who are never meant
00:31:32.740 to write our laws.
00:31:34.040 And I'm telling you,
00:31:34.960 Sheila,
00:31:35.440 whenever this pandemic ends,
00:31:37.820 there's going to be
00:31:38.620 a day of reckoning.
00:31:39.760 There is going to,
00:31:40.860 we have to ensure
00:31:42.180 we never end up
00:31:43.720 in this situation again
00:31:45.080 where the
00:31:45.880 Cruella de Villas
00:31:47.000 of the world
00:31:47.620 become drunk with power
00:31:49.380 and destroy
00:31:50.640 people's lives
00:31:51.680 without any
00:31:52.840 kind of empathy
00:31:54.260 whatsoever.
00:31:55.500 Anyways,
00:31:55.900 that's what I have to say.
00:31:57.580 Did you hear
00:31:58.380 Raquel Stevens though?
00:32:00.020 Did you hear her
00:32:01.000 push back
00:32:01.640 on that cop
00:32:02.420 who said,
00:32:03.660 well,
00:32:03.940 stand up for what
00:32:04.840 you believe in.
00:32:05.720 And Raquel goes,
00:32:06.520 and then what?
00:32:07.480 You going to take me?
00:32:08.620 Are you going to take
00:32:09.340 the kids next?
00:32:11.220 That's what Tim's
00:32:12.220 going to jail for.
00:32:13.740 It's not bad enough
00:32:14.800 that they seized
00:32:15.560 his church property.
00:32:16.600 They've graced life
00:32:17.640 them completely.
00:32:19.020 They seized
00:32:19.600 the church property.
00:32:20.860 Now they've taken Tim.
00:32:22.440 And from what I understand,
00:32:24.440 Tim had a bail hearing
00:32:25.500 last night
00:32:26.160 and just like
00:32:27.480 Pastor Coates,
00:32:28.420 he cannot abide
00:32:29.420 by those bail conditions
00:32:30.440 so he's going to
00:32:31.220 stay in jail.
00:32:32.620 And Raquel's got
00:32:34.040 all those kids
00:32:34.560 to take care of
00:32:35.240 by herself
00:32:36.280 and those kids
00:32:37.660 are traumatized.
00:32:39.060 Traumatized.
00:32:39.500 They've seen their dad
00:32:40.320 arrested by the state
00:32:41.400 twice.
00:32:42.500 It's the worst
00:32:43.520 thing I've seen
00:32:45.000 in this pandemic.
00:32:46.520 The absolute worst
00:32:47.700 is the trauma
00:32:48.340 that those kids
00:32:49.060 and that family
00:32:49.680 has been put through
00:32:50.380 twice at the hands
00:32:52.220 of Jason Kenney
00:32:53.320 and the police
00:32:54.300 in Calgary.
00:32:54.880 And one other thing
00:32:57.080 I want to say, Sheila,
00:32:58.120 is that, you know,
00:32:59.280 Pastor Tim Stevens,
00:33:00.720 what a class act.
00:33:03.320 I mean,
00:33:03.980 he could have been,
00:33:05.680 you know,
00:33:06.360 well,
00:33:06.700 it wouldn't be in him
00:33:07.840 to drop an F-bomb,
00:33:10.200 but I mean,
00:33:10.980 as a viewer,
00:33:12.380 you get so enraged
00:33:13.960 watching this.
00:33:15.160 And I don't want to say
00:33:16.040 what I was muttering
00:33:16.840 while I was watching it,
00:33:18.160 but he is calm,
00:33:19.920 cool,
00:33:20.660 collected.
00:33:21.840 He's all about love.
00:33:23.220 He's hugging his family.
00:33:24.940 He's not even
00:33:25.560 in the face
00:33:26.440 of these police officers
00:33:27.460 and he has every right
00:33:29.200 to be.
00:33:30.260 I just want to say
00:33:31.280 what an incredible
00:33:32.300 class act.
00:33:33.280 And I think,
00:33:34.140 I hope your wish
00:33:34.920 comes true.
00:33:35.540 I hope when the election
00:33:36.840 comes along,
00:33:37.900 those images
00:33:38.840 resurface
00:33:40.320 to remind people
00:33:41.440 that Premier Kenney
00:33:42.940 was behind this.
00:33:46.000 Yeah.
00:33:46.420 I mean,
00:33:46.820 I should be taking
00:33:48.120 Pastor Tim's advice
00:33:49.260 when he said
00:33:49.740 don't be angry
00:33:50.420 because I'm furious.
00:33:52.540 Like,
00:33:52.660 my blood is boiling.
00:33:54.400 But I guess
00:33:55.280 it's better to be mad
00:33:56.920 than to be
00:33:57.960 just a wreck
00:33:59.620 because of what
00:34:00.720 I've just witnessed
00:34:01.980 the state
00:34:02.960 put that family through.
00:34:04.680 And who knows
00:34:05.560 when Tim's going to get out?
00:34:07.060 Who knows when they end it?
00:34:08.200 I mean,
00:34:08.520 we're moving into
00:34:09.260 stage three
00:34:10.400 here in Alberta
00:34:11.460 where there's going to be
00:34:12.560 no masks
00:34:13.340 and no restrictions.
00:34:15.020 You're going to keep
00:34:15.880 this guy in jail
00:34:16.700 for what?
00:34:17.420 Till when?
00:34:18.480 After stage three?
00:34:19.640 Till we're at COVID zero?
00:34:21.760 What is it going to take
00:34:22.840 for Tim
00:34:23.620 to be allowed
00:34:24.760 to do
00:34:25.260 what he is called
00:34:25.980 by God to do?
00:34:27.000 And again,
00:34:28.080 no coronaviruses,
00:34:29.800 no cases linked
00:34:30.960 to his church.
00:34:31.600 Not a one.
00:34:32.800 So where?
00:34:33.680 Where do the two things meet?
00:34:35.720 How does the enforcement
00:34:36.860 of these regulations
00:34:38.760 meet the threat
00:34:40.760 that Tim is putting
00:34:41.860 the community in?
00:34:43.180 And again,
00:34:44.420 the Sky Palace incident,
00:34:46.200 we have video footage
00:34:47.200 of that.
00:34:47.660 We have the proof
00:34:48.240 and the pudding.
00:34:50.000 What?
00:34:50.500 That's a nothing burger?
00:34:51.860 I mean,
00:34:52.600 it's now become a joke
00:34:54.160 that Premier Kenny
00:34:55.500 is leading by example.
00:34:58.100 And as to the jail matter,
00:35:00.960 Sheila,
00:35:01.540 remind,
00:35:01.960 was it 35 days
00:35:03.560 that Pastor Coates
00:35:04.600 spent in that horrific
00:35:06.840 Edmonton maximum security
00:35:08.940 penitentiary?
00:35:10.260 Is this what
00:35:11.480 Pastor Tim is in for too?
00:35:13.620 That is just shameful.
00:35:15.980 Well,
00:35:16.540 and he'll likely be
00:35:17.440 in COVID isolation
00:35:18.720 when he comes in.
00:35:20.460 So he'll,
00:35:21.340 in effect,
00:35:22.080 solitary confinement.
00:35:24.440 Again,
00:35:25.340 it's my understanding
00:35:26.400 that
00:35:26.940 he won't
00:35:29.380 accept the conditions
00:35:30.420 of his bail.
00:35:31.100 So he'll just remain
00:35:31.880 in there
00:35:32.240 until somebody figures
00:35:33.200 out what to do with him,
00:35:34.220 just like with
00:35:34.820 Pastor Coates.
00:35:36.400 And his congregation
00:35:37.680 is driven
00:35:38.360 completely underground.
00:35:39.360 So we have
00:35:39.920 at least two
00:35:40.900 underground congregations
00:35:42.240 here in Alberta,
00:35:44.720 four pastors arrested,
00:35:47.020 and two of them
00:35:49.880 have served
00:35:50.560 some pretty serious
00:35:51.340 jail time.
00:35:51.940 I mean,
00:35:52.160 it sounds like
00:35:52.760 Tim's going to be
00:35:53.300 in there for a long time.
00:35:54.300 So,
00:35:54.920 I mean,
00:35:55.540 what an absolute disgrace.
00:35:58.040 What an absolute disgrace
00:35:59.760 that this is the province
00:36:01.340 of strong and free.
00:36:03.700 This is led by
00:36:04.600 Jason Kenney,
00:36:05.820 the Premier
00:36:06.280 who was the advocate
00:36:07.660 for religious freedom
00:36:08.800 around the world.
00:36:10.340 How does he justify
00:36:11.920 what he did
00:36:13.300 to that family
00:36:13.920 last night?
00:36:14.400 Because I don't care
00:36:15.380 if it was the Calgary cops
00:36:16.560 and the worst cop in Canada,
00:36:18.440 that bald cop,
00:36:19.600 the absolute worst.
00:36:22.000 I don't care
00:36:22.880 if it's them.
00:36:23.760 They're being enabled
00:36:24.900 by the decision makers.
00:36:26.900 And if Jason Kenney
00:36:27.780 isn't making the decisions,
00:36:29.160 he's allowing somebody else
00:36:30.760 to make the decisions.
00:36:31.700 Our unelected health bureaucrats,
00:36:33.120 the buck stops with him.
00:36:35.120 What happened
00:36:35.780 to Tim Stevens' family
00:36:37.140 stops with Jason Kenney.
00:36:38.740 And he should be
00:36:39.880 absolutely ashamed
00:36:41.120 of himself.
00:36:41.800 I don't know how
00:36:42.760 he sleeps at night.
00:36:43.760 I have no idea.
00:36:45.120 And on that note too,
00:36:46.320 Sheila,
00:36:46.680 those cops,
00:36:47.480 when they go home
00:36:48.180 to their families
00:36:48.940 and they take off
00:36:49.700 their uniforms
00:36:50.340 and they take
00:36:52.100 their weapons away
00:36:53.120 and just become
00:36:54.820 Joe and Jane's citizen,
00:36:57.120 do they go,
00:36:58.880 you know what,
00:37:00.040 honey,
00:37:00.680 I helped save
00:37:01.940 the province
00:37:02.440 from more
00:37:03.260 COVID positive cases.
00:37:05.000 I got that guy,
00:37:06.840 that Pastor Tim,
00:37:08.040 out of his home.
00:37:09.100 He's now in the cooler.
00:37:10.880 Or do they say
00:37:11.700 to their family,
00:37:12.800 I can't believe
00:37:14.520 what I have to do
00:37:15.600 as a cop.
00:37:16.500 You know,
00:37:16.880 I signed up
00:37:18.220 to put away
00:37:19.100 the bad guys
00:37:19.980 and now look
00:37:21.020 what they're making me do.
00:37:22.080 I would love
00:37:22.860 to be a fly on the wall
00:37:24.180 of those police officers' homes
00:37:25.880 and find out
00:37:26.840 what they really think
00:37:28.040 when the cameras
00:37:28.700 aren't rolling
00:37:29.340 about what they are
00:37:30.880 doing these days,
00:37:32.540 Sheila.
00:37:33.720 Constable,
00:37:34.200 terrible cop
00:37:35.000 in Calgary there,
00:37:36.140 he thinks that
00:37:37.300 he's doing
00:37:37.760 the absolute Lord's work.
00:37:39.080 I really do.
00:37:39.920 I think that he thinks
00:37:41.100 that I'm making sure
00:37:42.120 those Christians
00:37:43.000 render unto Caesar
00:37:44.060 that which is Caesar's.
00:37:45.100 I really do.
00:37:46.560 Like he,
00:37:47.140 he feels
00:37:48.420 like he's the victim here.
00:37:50.560 Look what your husband
00:37:51.780 is making me do
00:37:53.160 because he broke the law.
00:37:55.360 Your husband
00:37:56.240 is making me feel this way.
00:37:58.100 Not my conscience,
00:37:59.660 your husband.
00:38:00.760 Yep.
00:38:01.240 That,
00:38:01.660 that cop,
00:38:02.420 I don't think he has
00:38:03.360 any sort of
00:38:04.240 moral struggles
00:38:06.080 at all.
00:38:07.040 I think that he
00:38:07.760 is completely convinced
00:38:09.040 that he's perfectly
00:38:09.800 okay
00:38:10.840 and he's doing
00:38:11.600 the right thing.
00:38:12.500 I'm not so sure
00:38:13.320 about that female cop.
00:38:14.640 I think Adam
00:38:15.520 pushed her on that
00:38:16.420 and,
00:38:16.920 you know,
00:38:17.220 that's a,
00:38:17.800 that's another thing.
00:38:19.680 Adam was there
00:38:20.460 with this family
00:38:21.260 as it happened.
00:38:22.220 I mean,
00:38:23.540 it's got to be
00:38:24.340 tough on Adam
00:38:25.020 and,
00:38:25.260 and Kian too,
00:38:26.520 K2,
00:38:26.940 to have been there
00:38:29.420 to bear witness
00:38:30.200 to all of this.
00:38:31.160 I mean,
00:38:31.340 Adam's got little kids
00:38:32.420 at home too.
00:38:34.740 But you don't,
00:38:36.880 Adam usually takes
00:38:38.080 a kind of a hands-off
00:38:38.940 approach with the cops
00:38:39.860 and that's,
00:38:40.980 he's sort of following
00:38:41.880 the rules of engagement
00:38:42.840 of the,
00:38:43.400 the pastors
00:38:44.180 that he's covering,
00:38:45.300 right?
00:38:45.500 Like,
00:38:45.700 they don't want you there
00:38:46.420 fighting with the cops.
00:38:47.320 Just whatever the cops do,
00:38:49.040 please record it,
00:38:49.980 but you,
00:38:50.600 you're not the story,
00:38:51.780 right?
00:38:52.480 But Adam
00:38:53.420 pushed back
00:38:54.580 on that one lady cop
00:38:55.740 and she admitted
00:38:56.680 that this is not
00:38:57.480 what I signed up to do.
00:38:58.820 Yeah.
00:38:59.100 Well then,
00:38:59.780 why are you doing it?
00:39:01.300 And you know,
00:39:01.860 Sheila,
00:39:02.080 before we get to the chats
00:39:03.140 on this,
00:39:04.000 Adam and K2
00:39:05.540 were kind of lucky
00:39:06.320 in a way
00:39:06.760 that this didn't happen
00:39:07.780 in Hamilton
00:39:08.340 or Peterborough
00:39:09.020 because they
00:39:10.560 could have been
00:39:11.460 ticketed or arrested,
00:39:13.320 lack of social distancing,
00:39:15.140 not wearing a mask.
00:39:16.600 There was nothing
00:39:17.400 to laugh about,
00:39:18.400 but if they had laughed,
00:39:19.620 evidently that's offside
00:39:21.000 in Peterborough too.
00:39:22.280 We'll get to that
00:39:23.020 in a few seconds,
00:39:24.200 folks.
00:39:24.840 So,
00:39:25.280 in a way,
00:39:26.420 they're lucky.
00:39:27.840 They certainly had room
00:39:28.940 in those other SUVs
00:39:30.680 parked out.
00:39:31.420 By the way,
00:39:31.960 why such a display of force?
00:39:34.060 They know
00:39:34.480 this isn't a crack den
00:39:36.140 in Calgary
00:39:36.820 that they're going into
00:39:37.640 with illegal handguns.
00:39:39.560 They know this is a
00:39:40.640 gentle,
00:39:42.060 peace-loving pastor,
00:39:43.500 a true gentleman,
00:39:44.500 and they had to bring
00:39:45.740 that kind of show of force?
00:39:48.080 What the?
00:39:50.100 It's intimidation.
00:39:51.300 It's the same reason
00:39:52.400 they bring the riot squad
00:39:53.740 to Pastor Art.
00:39:56.400 It's the same reason
00:39:57.120 they took him down
00:39:57.960 like he was a terrorist
00:39:58.940 on the street.
00:40:01.940 I mean,
00:40:02.320 you look at how
00:40:03.040 they are treating
00:40:03.760 this cop
00:40:04.420 versus the red carpet
00:40:06.520 rollout they got
00:40:07.360 for Omar Khotter,
00:40:08.160 or treating these pastors
00:40:09.480 versus the red carpet
00:40:10.740 rollout that
00:40:11.360 Omar Khotter gets,
00:40:12.820 right?
00:40:13.060 Like,
00:40:13.480 same province.
00:40:14.160 one's a convicted
00:40:15.900 Al-Qaeda terrorist,
00:40:16.940 and the other ones
00:40:17.960 just want to be
00:40:18.560 obedient to God.
00:40:20.040 It's,
00:40:20.640 I mean,
00:40:21.080 I just,
00:40:22.060 I can't get over
00:40:23.160 how bad that cop is.
00:40:24.760 I think,
00:40:25.440 you know,
00:40:25.740 like,
00:40:26.160 yes,
00:40:26.500 the cop who is
00:40:27.740 offended that you
00:40:28.920 chuckled and shook hands
00:40:30.540 and did,
00:40:31.600 like,
00:40:31.660 normal human things,
00:40:32.980 he's bad.
00:40:33.820 But I think
00:40:35.220 that this cop
00:40:36.340 in Calgary,
00:40:37.660 and I'm dying
00:40:38.360 to know his name,
00:40:39.900 I hope you're watching,
00:40:41.260 you are the worst
00:40:42.240 cop in Canada.
00:40:43.480 The most revolting,
00:40:45.080 stomach-turning cop
00:40:46.160 in this entire country.
00:40:48.200 I hope you know that.
00:40:49.540 And given that you've,
00:40:51.620 according to
00:40:52.540 Sheila Gunn-Reed's
00:40:53.820 estimation,
00:40:54.560 you've bumped off
00:40:55.480 Staff Sergeant McClain
00:40:57.220 at the Peterborough
00:40:58.060 Police Service.
00:40:59.200 Wow,
00:40:59.920 that's saying
00:41:00.840 a mouthful.
00:41:02.400 Jeez.
00:41:03.820 Trying to victim-blame
00:41:05.920 the father
00:41:07.460 he's snatching away
00:41:08.980 from his family
00:41:09.860 as he's doing it
00:41:10.980 and making himself
00:41:12.000 the victim
00:41:12.640 and citing
00:41:14.040 scripture
00:41:15.700 to justify
00:41:17.360 the arrest
00:41:18.360 of the Christian pastor
00:41:19.660 in front of his family.
00:41:21.960 I don't know.
00:41:23.180 I don't know
00:41:24.780 if that can be topped.
00:41:25.840 And you know,
00:41:26.100 that seems to be
00:41:26.720 a bit of a trend
00:41:27.660 emerging, right?
00:41:28.440 Our beloved colleague
00:41:29.860 Tamara Ugolini
00:41:30.920 out in Coburg,
00:41:31.840 she had a piece
00:41:32.560 several weeks ago.
00:41:33.620 Sheila,
00:41:33.940 remember where
00:41:34.640 the Coburg Police Service
00:41:36.740 was complaining
00:41:38.040 about the stress
00:41:39.440 of handing out
00:41:40.900 all these
00:41:41.420 anti-lockdown tickets.
00:41:43.200 And I can't remember
00:41:44.720 the name
00:41:45.320 of the Coburg
00:41:46.060 police chief,
00:41:47.420 a tall,
00:41:48.740 bearded individual.
00:41:49.720 All you remember
00:41:50.400 is his gender pronouns,
00:41:52.080 he, him.
00:41:53.160 Every time.
00:41:53.940 So Chief,
00:41:54.640 he, him
00:41:55.240 was saying,
00:41:56.380 oh, look at us.
00:41:57.440 Look,
00:41:57.840 it's so tough.
00:41:58.940 It's so hard.
00:41:59.760 Can you believe it?
00:42:00.840 Yeah,
00:42:02.280 I can.
00:42:03.700 I can believe
00:42:05.200 that a cop
00:42:06.760 like that
00:42:07.480 would be concerned
00:42:09.120 about the,
00:42:10.240 how hard it is
00:42:11.420 on his
00:42:12.620 members
00:42:14.360 to go around
00:42:15.360 arresting law-abiding
00:42:16.340 people.
00:42:17.040 And again,
00:42:17.720 turning the cops
00:42:18.400 into the victims here.
00:42:20.060 I'm pro-cop,
00:42:21.360 but boy,
00:42:22.500 these bad apples,
00:42:23.560 they really
00:42:25.800 can turn the tide
00:42:26.880 for an entire
00:42:27.540 police service.
00:42:28.520 And it's going
00:42:29.460 to take
00:42:30.020 a very long time
00:42:31.700 for police services
00:42:32.920 to repair
00:42:33.540 the reputations
00:42:34.440 that they have
00:42:35.220 allowed to be
00:42:35.780 damaged so greatly
00:42:36.620 by the bad apples
00:42:38.340 in their midst.
00:42:39.880 A hundred percent,
00:42:40.760 Sheila.
00:42:41.140 And it,
00:42:41.700 and the worst thing
00:42:42.440 about it
00:42:42.980 is it doesn't
00:42:44.320 have to be
00:42:45.240 this way.
00:42:46.000 There is no
00:42:46.960 health crisis
00:42:47.840 by having
00:42:48.860 church services.
00:42:49.760 There is no
00:42:50.740 science behind this.
00:42:52.600 Please spare us
00:42:53.460 we're just
00:42:53.940 following the rules
00:42:55.120 while you give
00:42:56.700 a pass again
00:42:57.600 to Premier Kenney
00:42:58.540 and his friends
00:42:59.240 for up in the
00:43:00.600 Sky Palace
00:43:01.400 wining and dining.
00:43:03.220 So,
00:43:03.540 you know,
00:43:03.800 please.
00:43:04.200 But anyways,
00:43:04.700 I think we have
00:43:05.180 some chats,
00:43:06.240 do we not?
00:43:07.620 Yes.
00:43:08.020 By the way,
00:43:08.680 speaking of
00:43:09.340 another politician
00:43:10.140 that deserves
00:43:11.060 those images
00:43:12.440 of Tim Stevens
00:43:14.200 crying children
00:43:14.900 on a jumbotron truck
00:43:16.240 driving around
00:43:16.880 his constituency office,
00:43:18.420 Tyler Shandro,
00:43:19.220 the health minister.
00:43:20.280 You're in charge
00:43:21.120 of AHS.
00:43:22.380 You did nothing.
00:43:24.760 Even if they
00:43:25.480 went rogue,
00:43:26.660 sure they did.
00:43:27.540 But even if you
00:43:28.220 want to claim that,
00:43:28.900 that they went rogue
00:43:29.600 and got this order
00:43:30.580 that now they're using
00:43:32.480 to go around
00:43:33.000 and lock up pastors,
00:43:34.260 you're in charge
00:43:35.060 of AHS.
00:43:36.360 Have them go
00:43:37.240 before a judge
00:43:37.960 and have that order
00:43:39.000 tossed out.
00:43:39.880 But you haven't.
00:43:41.360 You've seen
00:43:41.900 pastor after pastor
00:43:43.040 get arrested
00:43:43.640 and you're perfectly
00:43:44.700 fine with it.
00:43:45.520 we need
00:43:47.040 to put this
00:43:47.920 on a jumbotron
00:43:48.680 and drive it
00:43:49.420 around Shandro's
00:43:50.100 office.
00:43:51.020 If he's going
00:43:52.080 to the grocery store,
00:43:53.060 I want a jumbotron
00:43:54.080 following him
00:43:55.240 like a jaguar
00:43:56.960 hunts a gazelle
00:43:58.180 so that those images
00:44:00.240 follow him forever.
00:44:01.860 I love
00:44:02.900 that idea,
00:44:03.960 Sheila.
00:44:04.520 And you got
00:44:05.580 the clout around here
00:44:06.560 to make it happen.
00:44:07.560 I can say that.
00:44:09.700 Try not to abuse it.
00:44:10.980 Anyways,
00:44:11.720 let's,
00:44:13.960 for me being
00:44:14.680 absolutely off
00:44:15.640 the rev limiter,
00:44:16.420 let's get to
00:44:16.860 some of these
00:44:17.380 chats.
00:44:19.700 Rumble from
00:44:20.580 On The Bit,
00:44:22.060 like David's tie
00:44:23.160 today.
00:44:23.920 Is that even
00:44:24.520 David's tie?
00:44:25.280 Sometimes he takes
00:44:26.000 Ezra's.
00:44:26.880 That's one of mine.
00:44:28.200 And it's a
00:44:28.700 cheaper one too.
00:44:30.040 So there you go.
00:44:32.620 It looks better
00:44:33.580 because you're frugal.
00:44:36.260 We've got a
00:44:36.980 super you shout
00:44:37.640 from Annalisa.
00:44:38.920 Hi, Annalisa.
00:44:39.700 She says this
00:44:41.360 is heartbreaking.
00:44:42.300 Yeah, it is.
00:44:42.880 It is.
00:44:43.740 A rumble chat
00:44:44.740 from Ricadio,
00:44:46.840 I think is how
00:44:47.420 I say that.
00:44:48.120 Oh, that explains
00:44:49.460 why I'm having
00:44:50.180 trouble.
00:44:52.080 You'd think if
00:44:52.880 you go to
00:44:54.760 arrest someone,
00:44:55.460 you would have
00:44:55.880 the warrant.
00:44:56.640 Yeah.
00:44:57.240 And documentation
00:44:57.940 to back up the
00:44:58.760 claim on your
00:44:59.280 person.
00:44:59.700 Yeah.
00:44:59.860 Apparently cops
00:45:00.520 can just go to
00:45:01.100 your house without
00:45:02.280 a warrant and
00:45:03.060 stuff you in a
00:45:03.620 cop car in front
00:45:04.180 of your family.
00:45:04.980 Is that how it
00:45:05.620 works?
00:45:05.880 Because it's cops
00:45:06.960 like they,
00:45:08.120 the Stevens family
00:45:09.300 said,
00:45:09.520 where's the
00:45:09.960 warrant?
00:45:10.300 Oh, we don't
00:45:10.640 have it, but
00:45:11.140 you know about
00:45:11.720 it.
00:45:12.360 Oh, go get
00:45:13.020 it then.
00:45:13.440 Go get it.
00:45:14.440 That's very,
00:45:15.300 I missed out on
00:45:16.680 that, shamefully.
00:45:19.980 This was
00:45:20.940 potentially, I
00:45:21.900 think, Sheila,
00:45:23.080 another Pastor
00:45:24.560 Arthur Pawlowski
00:45:25.740 get out, get out
00:45:28.060 video.
00:45:28.560 I don't think
00:45:29.220 that's Pastor
00:45:30.300 Tim's style, but
00:45:31.900 wow, did that
00:45:33.380 ever go viral
00:45:34.180 when Arthur
00:45:35.440 used it?
00:45:36.260 Yeah, you
00:45:37.760 know, and
00:45:37.960 that's another
00:45:38.360 thing, too.
00:45:39.580 People will
00:45:40.440 say, oh, I
00:45:41.080 don't like
00:45:41.440 Pastor Art's
00:45:42.320 style, how he
00:45:44.040 talks to the
00:45:44.620 cops, use of
00:45:45.980 the words
00:45:46.620 Gestapo, look,
00:45:47.560 he's Polish,
00:45:48.360 I'll give him a
00:45:48.940 pass.
00:45:49.520 Yeah.
00:45:49.700 Right?
00:45:50.680 Fine.
00:45:52.540 Or they don't
00:45:53.400 like his views
00:45:54.180 on certain
00:45:54.800 things.
00:45:55.780 None of that
00:45:56.260 matters.
00:45:56.880 Yeah.
00:45:57.200 Because Tim
00:45:58.000 Stevens could not
00:45:58.800 be more bookish.
00:46:00.020 Yeah.
00:46:00.440 He couldn't be
00:46:01.140 more bookish and
00:46:02.820 gentle, he's
00:46:04.760 like a dove, and
00:46:06.040 that didn't spare
00:46:06.900 him from the
00:46:07.460 state.
00:46:07.960 So it's got
00:46:08.340 nothing to do
00:46:09.320 with the style or
00:46:10.900 personalities of
00:46:11.720 the pastors.
00:46:12.600 We're arresting
00:46:13.480 all kinds of
00:46:14.100 different pastors
00:46:14.660 in this province.
00:46:15.320 It doesn't even
00:46:15.840 matter.
00:46:16.880 They're all
00:46:17.520 different denominations.
00:46:19.120 It doesn't
00:46:19.740 matter.
00:46:20.900 Their only crime
00:46:22.020 is being obedient
00:46:22.880 to God over the
00:46:23.720 state.
00:46:26.220 We've got a
00:46:27.640 Odyssey
00:46:29.220 chat, hyper
00:46:31.620 chat, that's
00:46:32.040 what they're
00:46:32.260 called, from
00:46:33.080 Roxanne.
00:46:33.960 We have one
00:46:34.580 of the best
00:46:35.000 systems in
00:46:35.500 the world.
00:46:36.080 Had.
00:46:36.440 We had the
00:46:36.880 best system
00:46:37.360 in the world.
00:46:38.060 Now it's
00:46:38.520 one of the
00:46:38.840 worst.
00:46:40.400 We're still
00:46:41.080 in one of
00:46:41.540 the hardest
00:46:42.280 lockdowns on
00:46:43.840 the face of
00:46:44.280 the earth,
00:46:44.640 especially guys
00:46:45.320 in Ontario.
00:46:46.440 Oh, yeah.
00:46:47.780 You know,
00:46:48.780 it's funny.
00:46:49.720 I saw an
00:46:50.640 announcement, I
00:46:51.320 think it was
00:46:51.640 yesterday, and
00:46:53.260 I drive by
00:46:54.380 this amusement
00:46:55.740 park so
00:46:57.620 often, Sheila,
00:46:58.620 Canada's
00:46:59.080 Wonderland.
00:46:59.720 I guess it's
00:47:00.260 Canada's largest
00:47:01.160 amusement park.
00:47:02.260 It's still
00:47:03.400 mothballed, and
00:47:04.460 they were
00:47:04.700 announcing their
00:47:05.540 plan to reopen
00:47:06.780 for July 7th.
00:47:08.480 And you've got
00:47:10.000 to book your
00:47:10.820 day, and you've
00:47:12.180 got to book
00:47:12.760 your time, and
00:47:14.620 worst of all,
00:47:15.620 even though it's
00:47:16.040 a totally outdoor
00:47:17.920 amusement park, all
00:47:18.740 the rides are
00:47:19.300 outdoors, folks,
00:47:20.440 you've got to
00:47:21.640 wear your mask.
00:47:23.080 And I thought,
00:47:23.980 you call that
00:47:25.460 park an
00:47:26.200 amusement park?
00:47:27.120 what's the
00:47:27.560 opposite of
00:47:28.120 amusement, Sheila?
00:47:29.900 I'm staying
00:47:31.100 clear of this
00:47:32.720 place.
00:47:33.220 I mean, are
00:47:34.420 they crazy
00:47:35.480 making people
00:47:36.680 in the hot
00:47:37.720 July, southern
00:47:38.840 Ontario, humid
00:47:39.880 sun, stand
00:47:41.380 in line for, I
00:47:42.620 don't know, up to
00:47:43.240 two hours to get
00:47:44.160 on the Leviathan,
00:47:45.680 masked up, and
00:47:46.960 if you don't wear
00:47:47.520 your mask, you're
00:47:48.280 frog-marched out
00:47:49.420 of that park?
00:47:50.340 Some park!
00:47:52.020 Yeah, big fun.
00:47:53.700 And you've got to
00:47:54.380 pay, like, an
00:47:54.980 enormous amount
00:47:55.760 of money to do
00:47:56.800 it.
00:47:57.920 Oh, boy.
00:48:00.280 Super U shout
00:48:01.380 from Donald Best,
00:48:02.640 policing will
00:48:03.220 never recover from
00:48:04.180 18 months of
00:48:05.000 civil rights
00:48:05.500 violations and
00:48:06.380 brutality against
00:48:07.260 its citizens.
00:48:07.820 Yeah, we've
00:48:08.200 created a generation
00:48:09.340 of people who
00:48:10.020 loathe cops.
00:48:11.340 And Donald knows
00:48:12.020 what he's talking
00:48:12.640 about, too, folks.
00:48:16.160 Another Super U
00:48:17.180 shout from
00:48:17.580 Donald Best,
00:48:18.780 reporter, is this
00:48:20.080 why you became a
00:48:21.140 police officer?
00:48:22.040 No, I did not.
00:48:23.340 Very telling.
00:48:24.300 Yeah.
00:48:24.960 Yeah.
00:48:25.700 Then, again, why
00:48:26.940 are you doing it?
00:48:28.340 Why are you doing
00:48:28.940 it?
00:48:31.480 A rumble chat
00:48:32.760 from Nick Monk.
00:48:34.640 So strange that
00:48:35.560 this is in Alberta.
00:48:36.680 It used to be the
00:48:37.540 most freedom-loving
00:48:38.560 part of the country.
00:48:39.760 We still are.
00:48:41.340 Don't attribute the
00:48:43.060 qualities of our
00:48:43.800 politicians to the
00:48:44.700 qualities of our
00:48:45.420 people.
00:48:46.600 That's why we're so
00:48:47.520 hard to contain.
00:48:48.780 And that's why we
00:48:50.960 are going to church.
00:48:52.600 And breaking the
00:48:53.500 rules.
00:48:53.880 And that's why they
00:48:54.400 keep arresting good
00:48:56.180 people like Tim
00:48:56.880 Stevens, is because we
00:48:58.160 are so freedom-loving
00:48:59.180 that people like Tim
00:49:00.600 Stevens are willing to
00:49:01.360 go to jail for it.
00:49:02.260 So while our
00:49:03.300 politicians seem to
00:49:04.740 loathe freedom and
00:49:06.880 the people in this
00:49:07.580 province, the people in
00:49:08.480 this province are still
00:49:09.400 very freedom-loving.
00:49:11.920 Super U shout from
00:49:12.960 Annalisa.
00:49:13.620 She's crying again.
00:49:14.480 Yeah, that's terrible.
00:49:15.620 It's just a terrible,
00:49:16.960 terrible image, those
00:49:18.320 kids.
00:49:18.640 It's crying,
00:49:19.740 shrieking kids.
00:49:20.580 I mean, just when
00:49:21.900 they're saying bye
00:49:22.660 daddy, I mean, how did
00:49:25.060 those cops do that?
00:49:26.100 How did they do it?
00:49:28.440 A hyperchat of one
00:49:29.360 library from Binga.
00:49:30.940 Would the police do this
00:49:32.600 to an imam?
00:49:33.820 I'm not sure.
00:49:36.220 No, because the
00:49:37.020 politics and the
00:49:37.700 mainstream media would
00:49:38.420 scream bloody murder.
00:49:39.400 This is a disgrace for
00:49:40.400 the police.
00:49:41.180 I can't say that they
00:49:42.040 wouldn't do it to an
00:49:43.140 imam.
00:49:43.480 What I can say is that
00:49:44.920 they're only, only doing
00:49:46.900 this to Christian
00:49:47.540 pastors.
00:49:49.720 A hyperchat of one
00:49:50.820 library from Revelator,
00:49:52.120 Mercenaries at Work.
00:49:53.940 Joyful art from the
00:49:55.120 heart.
00:49:55.420 Everyone should email the
00:49:56.440 video to Jason Kenny.
00:49:57.680 Yeah.
00:49:58.940 A hyperchat of five
00:50:00.400 library.
00:50:01.640 Rebecca Henderson.
00:50:02.740 As someone studying
00:50:03.520 social work, having a
00:50:04.620 parent who is arrested
00:50:05.680 traumatized a child
00:50:07.160 enough for the rest of
00:50:08.100 their life.
00:50:08.940 Yeah.
00:50:09.460 And causes irreversible
00:50:11.460 negative health outcomes
00:50:12.480 for the rest of their
00:50:13.820 life.
00:50:14.300 Even premature death
00:50:15.680 on the ACE scores.
00:50:17.780 Shame on Kenny and the
00:50:18.820 police and others who
00:50:19.800 support scumbags like
00:50:20.920 that.
00:50:21.220 Now, you're saying
00:50:22.280 scumbags.
00:50:22.880 I'm not.
00:50:23.260 I'm just reading the
00:50:23.980 super chats.
00:50:25.460 But it's absolutely
00:50:27.420 despicable what the
00:50:29.140 state has put those
00:50:29.900 kids through twice,
00:50:31.920 twice now.
00:50:33.240 Their dad's been
00:50:33.860 arrested in front of
00:50:34.620 them.
00:50:35.280 And Sheila, you know,
00:50:36.100 an interesting point
00:50:37.400 about emailing the
00:50:38.500 video to Jason
00:50:39.840 Kenny.
00:50:40.260 I wondered, does
00:50:41.400 Jason Kenny, do you
00:50:42.360 think he follows the
00:50:43.920 content on Rebel
00:50:45.260 News or would that
00:50:46.680 be just like too
00:50:47.600 much kryptonite to
00:50:48.920 absorb on an
00:50:50.320 hourly basis?
00:50:52.740 I hear I hear
00:50:53.920 things from within
00:50:55.240 the premier's inner
00:50:56.440 circle.
00:50:57.720 When we say things
00:50:59.120 that are critical and
00:50:59.900 they hear about it
00:51:00.840 from the public, I
00:51:02.620 hear about it.
00:51:03.500 Good.
00:51:04.200 Yeah.
00:51:05.180 Yeah.
00:51:06.240 We've got a rumble
00:51:07.200 chat from chronic
00:51:08.280 bud 99.
00:51:09.540 If this story gets
00:51:10.300 covered by the state
00:51:11.180 broadcaster, it
00:51:12.040 will be titled
00:51:13.020 anti-masker,
00:51:14.560 pastor arrested.
00:51:15.780 Yeah.
00:51:16.620 Yeah.
00:51:17.420 Yeah.
00:51:17.800 Exactly.
00:51:18.500 Exactly.
00:51:19.300 Scoff law, pastor
00:51:20.520 arrested.
00:51:22.080 We've got a rumble
00:51:23.200 from Corey Farmer.
00:51:24.800 I break the law, but
00:51:26.340 we are not perfect.
00:51:27.360 Hold on.
00:51:27.860 I don't steal.
00:51:28.700 And I think, well, I
00:51:30.620 can do this even
00:51:31.840 though I arrest for
00:51:33.900 it.
00:51:34.120 Haha.
00:51:34.500 Yeah.
00:51:34.620 That cop is just
00:51:35.520 crazy saying, well, I'm
00:51:37.120 not perfect.
00:51:37.860 Well, then go straight
00:51:38.600 to jail because that's
00:51:39.400 what you're doing to
00:51:39.840 Tim.
00:51:40.520 Straight to jail.
00:51:41.460 Off you go.
00:51:42.960 Or quit.
00:51:43.540 And how terrible of
00:51:45.200 you to do that to your
00:51:46.120 fellow police officers to
00:51:47.660 make them have to arrest
00:51:48.720 you.
00:51:49.060 How awful.
00:51:50.780 A super you shout from
00:51:52.160 Bishop.
00:51:52.640 Think of how many
00:51:53.800 criminals were released
00:51:54.780 from prison to make room
00:51:55.760 for decent citizens and
00:51:56.780 pastors.
00:51:57.180 Well, I can tell you one
00:51:58.920 of those numbers at the
00:52:00.000 Remand Center in
00:52:01.240 Edmonton.
00:52:02.520 Approximately 500 were
00:52:04.880 released over the course
00:52:06.960 of the pandemic, either
00:52:07.960 given community release
00:52:09.120 or release just on
00:52:12.280 basically on their own
00:52:13.560 recognizance to save
00:52:16.900 them from the
00:52:17.760 coronavirus outbreak.
00:52:19.720 And apparently there
00:52:20.760 were a couple, perhaps
00:52:22.960 even three at the
00:52:24.840 Remand Center, and
00:52:25.820 that's where they held
00:52:26.700 Pastor James Coates.
00:52:28.660 So they took Pastor
00:52:29.480 James Coates out of a
00:52:30.340 perfectly healthy
00:52:31.040 congregation and stuffed
00:52:32.780 him into a facility
00:52:33.780 that has had
00:52:35.820 coronavirus outbreaks.
00:52:36.960 And where they
00:52:37.720 released other
00:52:38.480 prisoners, violent
00:52:39.480 prisoners, to save
00:52:41.080 them from the
00:52:41.620 coronavirus, apparently
00:52:43.420 in the interest of
00:52:44.200 public health.
00:52:45.040 So we release violent
00:52:47.420 criminals that broke
00:52:48.760 real laws to make
00:52:50.460 room in the Remand
00:52:52.100 Center for phony
00:52:54.260 baloney health
00:52:55.700 official laws so that
00:52:58.920 we can get pastors
00:53:00.560 put there.
00:53:01.360 Yeah, that makes sense
00:53:02.200 to me, Sheila.
00:53:03.680 Yeah.
00:53:04.040 And it's because the
00:53:05.300 pastors, according to
00:53:06.420 the government, were
00:53:07.600 putting the community
00:53:08.720 at risk.
00:53:10.020 So even though in
00:53:11.340 their perfectly healthy
00:53:12.260 communities, they get
00:53:14.020 taken into a place where
00:53:15.400 they could potentially
00:53:16.300 contract the coronavirus
00:53:17.320 and then go back to
00:53:18.640 their perfectly healthy
00:53:19.440 communities after the
00:53:20.380 fact.
00:53:20.940 Could you imagine being
00:53:22.780 one of the victims of
00:53:24.300 one of those 500 real
00:53:25.880 criminals?
00:53:26.360 And you said some of
00:53:27.700 them were indeed
00:53:28.520 violent.
00:53:28.960 And you hear through the
00:53:31.220 grapevine, because I
00:53:32.400 don't even think you're
00:53:33.200 even told as a victim by
00:53:35.360 the authorities that such
00:53:36.960 and such is out.
00:53:38.180 Can you imagine the
00:53:39.360 feeling of betrayal and
00:53:41.200 fear if you're a
00:53:42.460 vulnerable person, that
00:53:44.080 this person is now out
00:53:46.240 on the street and maybe
00:53:47.900 is harboring a major
00:53:49.280 grudge and it's being
00:53:51.140 done in the name of
00:53:52.180 COVID?
00:53:52.880 Are you kidding me?
00:53:54.880 Yeah.
00:53:55.060 And just think for a
00:53:56.400 second, a lot of people
00:53:57.280 and I only know this
00:53:58.260 because I have cops in
00:53:59.120 my family who are very
00:54:00.020 frustrated by all of
00:54:01.160 this.
00:54:01.880 There is a thing now
00:54:03.840 that they're doing
00:54:04.680 that's called no cash
00:54:07.200 bail.
00:54:07.840 And basically you can
00:54:09.440 get out on bail with
00:54:10.660 no cash.
00:54:11.260 So anybody can get bail
00:54:12.820 if you're like anything
00:54:13.860 from a violent sex
00:54:16.400 offender is sort of
00:54:17.780 kind of a cutoff, but
00:54:18.840 not always.
00:54:19.660 You can get out on no
00:54:20.580 cash bail.
00:54:21.420 So the people who are
00:54:22.260 being remanded, they're
00:54:23.600 not exactly the nice
00:54:24.680 guys.
00:54:25.460 Because you can pretty
00:54:26.360 well get out on no
00:54:27.320 cash bail.
00:54:28.120 And, you know, for
00:54:29.440 good cops who are
00:54:30.340 dealing with recidivists,
00:54:31.280 they're like, I just
00:54:32.340 picked this guy up
00:54:32.980 yesterday.
00:54:33.860 How did he even get
00:54:34.640 bail?
00:54:34.940 Oh, no cash bail.
00:54:36.380 So they're just
00:54:38.340 revolving doors, but
00:54:39.980 we're keeping pastors.
00:54:41.680 I didn't know that was
00:54:42.300 a thing, Sheila.
00:54:43.300 It sounds like de
00:54:45.180 Blasio's New York.
00:54:48.800 Basically, and it's
00:54:49.820 making it impossible for
00:54:51.020 good cops to clean up
00:54:52.120 communities, especially
00:54:53.620 like on reserve, where
00:54:55.000 they're arresting the
00:54:56.360 same gang members all
00:54:57.840 the time.
00:54:58.460 They're just getting no
00:54:59.240 cash bail and back out
00:55:00.080 the door.
00:55:01.380 No cash bail.
00:55:04.060 Well, what's the point
00:55:05.020 of having bail then?
00:55:07.500 Exactly.
00:55:08.720 Exactly.
00:55:09.680 You know, it reminds me
00:55:11.420 as a child, I was
00:55:13.080 confused.
00:55:13.580 I'd read Marvel
00:55:14.220 Comics and in the
00:55:15.820 letters of the editor
00:55:16.640 section, you could if
00:55:17.680 you found a mistake in
00:55:18.980 the comic book, you
00:55:20.200 know, a continuity
00:55:20.980 error, a name error, you
00:55:23.040 could write in.
00:55:24.520 And what Stan Lee was
00:55:26.360 running Marvel Comics at
00:55:27.400 the time, what he would
00:55:28.080 always do is if the error
00:55:29.840 checked out, he would
00:55:31.380 send you a no prize.
00:55:34.660 And for years of my
00:55:36.440 young child life, I was
00:55:38.500 wondering, what does a no
00:55:40.040 prize look like?
00:55:41.140 I didn't get it.
00:55:42.040 It meant that, yeah, it's
00:55:44.340 a no, like we acknowledge
00:55:46.720 the error, but you're not
00:55:47.620 getting a prize and that
00:55:49.180 seems to be, what did you
00:55:51.160 call it, cashless bail?
00:55:53.060 Yeah, no cash bail.
00:55:54.420 And like to add insult to
00:55:55.880 injury with the no cash
00:55:57.160 bail, and I hope I'm
00:55:58.600 describing this right, you
00:56:00.740 can go before a judge, the
00:56:01.940 judge will say, oh, your
00:56:03.280 bail is $50, but no cash.
00:56:06.800 So it's like you don't have
00:56:08.240 to pay anything.
00:56:08.820 You don't have to pay even
00:56:09.600 $50 to get out.
00:56:11.480 It's no cash.
00:56:12.420 So like I know some cops are
00:56:14.840 like, why don't you make
00:56:15.620 it a million?
00:56:16.200 Like, what does it matter?
00:56:16.920 If you don't have to pay a
00:56:18.380 single thing to make sure
00:56:20.060 that you behave yourself,
00:56:21.300 keep the peace and be of
00:56:22.100 good behavior, as they say,
00:56:23.240 what does it matter?
00:56:24.240 What's the point?
00:56:25.260 No cash.
00:56:26.060 You don't even lose your
00:56:26.820 $50.
00:56:29.940 We've got a hyper chat of
00:56:30.980 one library from Benga,
00:56:32.580 says victim blaming, that's
00:56:33.820 gaslighting 101.
00:56:35.060 Yeah, that cop, he's the
00:56:36.820 victim, can't you see?
00:56:37.960 Don't you feel bad for him
00:56:39.020 having to do what he did to
00:56:40.200 Tim Stevens?
00:56:41.340 Nope.
00:56:43.120 A hyper chat of five
00:56:44.400 libraries from Rebecca
00:56:45.460 Henderson.
00:56:47.040 So are you going to vote
00:56:48.340 for Kenny, Sheila?
00:56:49.380 I would love to move to
00:56:50.400 Alberta from Ontario to
00:56:51.500 vote him out and drive those
00:56:52.520 vans around with the image
00:56:53.560 of what he did to that
00:56:54.420 family.
00:56:55.520 No one will ever know who I
00:56:56.860 vote for.
00:56:57.340 And it's so funny because I
00:56:58.860 will get people from the
00:56:59.860 Conservative Party of Canada,
00:57:01.300 like dyed-in-the-wool
00:57:02.060 partisans, blasting me up
00:57:03.920 because they say, Sheila,
00:57:04.880 you support Max Bernier.
00:57:06.360 And then I'll get people from
00:57:07.840 the PPC saying, Sheila, why
00:57:09.500 don't you support Max Bernier?
00:57:10.760 And that's when I know I'm
00:57:12.120 in the sweet spot because
00:57:13.960 nobody knows where I fall.
00:57:16.420 And it's, I like it that
00:57:17.500 way.
00:57:17.780 I think that's the best way
00:57:18.940 is that you'll never know.
00:57:21.400 And I'll just be critical of
00:57:23.100 everybody completely honestly.
00:57:25.940 Well, as we've discussed,
00:57:27.340 Sheila, the only ace I think
00:57:30.440 Jason Kenney is holding is
00:57:32.400 the passage of time, that in
00:57:34.140 two years things will be so
00:57:35.580 radically different.
00:57:36.520 Two years is an eternity in
00:57:37.880 politics, and maybe a lot of
00:57:39.680 people will forget.
00:57:40.740 I don't think a lot of people
00:57:43.160 are going to forget.
00:57:43.880 Maybe some will, depending on
00:57:46.140 the prosperity of the
00:57:47.060 province when we get into
00:57:48.940 2023.
00:57:50.380 But this is leaving a real
00:57:53.420 bitter aftertaste in so many
00:57:56.020 Albertans' mouths, I presume.
00:57:58.380 And as I've always said, he's
00:58:00.160 playing with fire.
00:58:01.340 You know, he really is in
00:58:02.840 terms of getting back elected
00:58:05.760 again.
00:58:06.160 I mean, can you imagine, can
00:58:08.260 you imagine Rachel Notley
00:58:09.400 2.0 coming up through the
00:58:11.400 middle?
00:58:12.480 It's, it's, it's, that's even
00:58:14.620 more fearful than anything
00:58:16.140 else.
00:58:17.340 Jason Kenney better hope the
00:58:18.640 Stevens family doesn't show up
00:58:19.940 at any of his campaign events.
00:58:21.700 That's for sure.
00:58:22.300 Oh, yeah.
00:58:23.180 Could you imagine all those
00:58:24.540 Stevens kids lined up?
00:58:26.380 And, uh, like, Tim isn't the
00:58:29.480 only brother who's in legal
00:58:31.920 jeopardy here.
00:58:32.780 Trevor, his brother, is a
00:58:34.380 pastor in the Edmonton area
00:58:35.640 and they're open.
00:58:36.960 Um, so, I mean, he's, he's
00:58:39.220 not the only brother who
00:58:40.140 could go to jail.
00:58:42.280 Um, uh, we've got a rumble
00:58:45.200 from Flame 232318K at a
00:58:49.200 hockey game, 100 at a church?
00:58:51.440 Nope.
00:58:51.880 Yeah.
00:58:52.900 18K at a hockey game, 100 at a
00:58:54.960 church?
00:58:55.340 Nope.
00:58:55.660 Yeah, that's exactly it.
00:58:56.760 But one of them is, is for
00:58:59.100 professional hockey players and
00:59:01.220 elites and the elites, uh, they
00:59:04.020 get special treatment.
00:59:05.380 They get the Sky Palace and the
00:59:07.760 rest of us get in jail.
00:59:09.160 Uh, we've got a hyper chat of
00:59:11.000 one library from Roxanne.
00:59:12.280 You guys have updates on Max
00:59:13.720 Bernier's arrest.
00:59:15.040 David, you might know more about
00:59:16.200 this than me.
00:59:16.920 You know, no, I don't.
00:59:18.060 Uh, other than that, what we've
00:59:19.060 already reported.
00:59:20.260 And, uh, by the way, my take on
00:59:23.300 that Bernier arrest is that, uh,
00:59:25.820 Premier Pallister, uh, did
00:59:28.220 Maxime Bernier a huge favor in
00:59:30.800 terms of, you know, Maxime
00:59:33.040 Bernier getting airtime, getting
00:59:35.360 press.
00:59:35.980 If Maxime Bernier had just gone
00:59:38.140 into small town, uh, Manitoba
00:59:40.880 and did his shtick, he would come
00:59:43.160 go, no biggie.
00:59:44.840 But he was put into the, uh, the
00:59:47.340 24 and even 48 hour news cycle
00:59:49.760 and the optics, Sheila,
00:59:53.300 of a former MP being arrested
00:59:58.020 and handcuffed.
00:59:59.560 And I love that line when the
01:00:02.020 RCMP constable said, do you have
01:00:04.620 any weapons?
01:00:05.520 And he says, no, other than the
01:00:07.500 words I use.
01:00:09.280 Wasn't that amazing?
01:00:10.480 But that image, uh, gave, I think
01:00:14.460 Bernier so much political capital
01:00:16.860 that my words, my ideas, my
01:00:20.360 thoughts that are not hateful
01:00:23.100 at all, they're just contrary to
01:00:25.520 the, um, elected class right now
01:00:27.820 are so dangerous.
01:00:30.020 He has to be pulled over,
01:00:32.220 handcuffed and taken away in a
01:00:34.120 police SUV.
01:00:35.960 They couldn't, it couldn't have
01:00:37.880 made Bernier's point any more
01:00:39.900 forceful than those images,
01:00:42.280 Sheila.
01:00:42.460 Well, and if a political dissident
01:00:46.000 being arrested by the state police
01:00:47.680 had said those words in Russia,
01:00:50.680 um, in Saudi Arabia, in, you know,
01:00:54.000 one of the more backwards places of
01:00:55.780 the world, it would have been
01:00:57.860 something that every single
01:01:00.120 conservative politician in this
01:01:01.900 country would, would have
01:01:03.400 celebrated and they would have
01:01:05.180 raised the issue in the house of
01:01:06.660 comments and they would have
01:01:07.820 scolded the liberals for not
01:01:09.600 speaking out and supporting the
01:01:11.900 political dissident who was
01:01:13.340 arrested.
01:01:13.960 For example, if somebody said it
01:01:15.360 in Hong Kong, there would be
01:01:17.440 absolute support from every single
01:01:19.640 official conservative in this
01:01:21.460 country because it happened in so
01:01:23.980 called conservative Manitoba and it
01:01:26.760 happened to someone who is a
01:01:29.320 right-wing critic of the
01:01:31.440 conservative.
01:01:32.480 Everybody's got their mouths shut
01:01:34.120 about arresting, arresting
01:01:35.020 political dissidents in Canada and
01:01:38.220 boy, boy, oh boy, some of these
01:01:41.020 partisans, they aren't, they
01:01:43.560 aren't actual conservatives
01:01:44.960 because they don't think about
01:01:46.460 what they're saying.
01:01:47.700 They're saying stuff like, well,
01:01:49.580 he just should have followed the
01:01:50.940 rules and we don't need him
01:01:52.640 coming into our province and
01:01:54.140 breaking health rules and this and
01:01:56.500 that.
01:01:56.860 And it's like, even if you think
01:01:58.340 that way, he's there for a
01:02:00.360 political reason and your values
01:02:04.020 values and you're about free
01:02:06.360 speech and opposition to the
01:02:07.980 government, they should not be
01:02:09.740 contingent on whether or not you
01:02:11.940 like the message from the guy
01:02:14.200 saying it.
01:02:15.080 Because then that's not free
01:02:17.020 speech.
01:02:17.540 It's just one state partisanism.
01:02:21.500 Yeah, you're so right, Sheila.
01:02:22.840 This is banana republic kind of
01:02:25.980 stuff.
01:02:26.440 Yeah.
01:02:26.660 This is what happens.
01:02:27.840 Of course, you know, I'm in a
01:02:29.840 dilemma because I'm thinking we
01:02:31.500 can't grow bananas in Canada.
01:02:33.320 So maybe we should call ourselves a
01:02:35.660 maple syrup republic for
01:02:37.780 northern countries that act like
01:02:40.540 banana republics do.
01:02:42.400 Yeah, we're a maple syrup
01:02:43.700 republic.
01:02:45.160 Yeah.
01:02:45.880 We've got one more
01:02:48.500 hyper chat and then
01:02:49.720 oh, I should clarify.
01:02:52.160 Justin advises that we have two
01:02:54.320 interviews coming out with
01:02:55.460 Bernier.
01:02:55.940 And one is from Ezra and that's in
01:03:00.680 English and a French one from
01:03:03.660 Alexis.
01:03:04.580 Oh, great.
01:03:05.420 Or Alexa.
01:03:07.300 Alexa, Justin.
01:03:08.660 Alexa.
01:03:09.380 I thought, well, yeah, Ezra says
01:03:10.980 Alexis, you know, because, you know,
01:03:13.300 the other day he said to me,
01:03:15.160 Sheila, he took me aside.
01:03:15.980 He says, what do you think of that
01:03:17.240 new Alexis?
01:03:18.700 And I said, well, you know, Ezra, I'm
01:03:20.780 more partial to BMW and Mercedes.
01:03:22.780 Oh, and then I realized we weren't
01:03:24.940 talking cars.
01:03:27.240 Yeah.
01:03:29.240 Time to go.
01:03:31.120 We've got to finish up this one
01:03:32.560 last hyper chat from Agatha.
01:03:36.020 She says, Rebel News, please start a
01:03:37.820 billboard campaign.
01:03:39.000 OK, I am going to broach that
01:03:41.200 subject at our afternoon meeting
01:03:43.080 today because
01:03:44.900 I think there's things to be done
01:03:47.280 to shame these people.
01:03:49.640 What they did to this family should
01:03:51.020 not easily be forgotten.
01:03:53.780 And that's it.
01:03:54.560 We're all caught up, I think.
01:03:55.580 Well, fantastic.
01:03:56.220 Well, we had a whole sheet again
01:03:58.200 of topics, folks, that we never
01:03:59.600 got to.
01:04:00.060 But this was so important and it
01:04:01.980 was so heart wrenching as well.
01:04:04.240 In any event, thank you so much for
01:04:05.960 tuning in.
01:04:06.440 Thank you to Justin.
01:04:07.660 Thank you to all the people
01:04:09.340 putting in those chats, which
01:04:11.800 have some kind of
01:04:13.240 monetization attached to them.
01:04:15.420 And Sheila and I will see you
01:04:18.120 back in this space at this time
01:04:20.520 on Thursday.
01:04:21.520 In the meantime, stay sane.
