00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, you have tuned into the Daily Roundup on this
00:00:19.920 a Tuesday, April 25th, 2023. I'm David Menzies and my co-host, well, let me tell you a little
00:00:27.860 bit about my co-host. Do you know, folks, today is National Library Workers Day and before she
00:00:34.640 drove all the way into Toronto, my co-host went to the Coburg Library to wish the library workers
00:00:42.120 greetings on their National Day and that included the head librarian, of course, the receptionist
00:00:47.880 and the drag queen. She is the she-devil with a spatula. She is the Khaleesi of the greater Coburg
00:00:55.260 area. She is Tamara Ugolini. Welcome. What an honor. Yeah, thanks, David. I always appreciate
00:01:01.120 your tall tales there of library visits. I feel like it wasn't long ago that it was National,
00:01:07.820 was it Librarians Day? It wasn't long ago that there was another National Library Day.
00:01:14.060 Yeah, it's kind of like the LGBT community because I think just recently there was the
00:01:21.420 Lesbian Day visibility in April and I'm thinking, well, aren't they part of Pride Day, which became
00:01:28.460 Pride Week, which became Pride Month and now, according to Sheila Gunn-Reed, is Pride season.
00:01:33.880 Soon it'll be Pride year, I guess. Pride generation. Yeah, and I guess there's Earth Hour, there's Earth
00:01:39.900 Day. I'm sure they're working on some other thing. By the way, there's another day on the calendar
00:01:46.240 today, which I thought was interesting. National Hug a Plumber Day. I guess the whole Me Too thing,
00:01:53.920 it hasn't come to the plumbing industry. Those poor plumbers, be prepared.
00:01:59.060 You know what? I wish, I'm telling you, if this journalism shtick ever dried up and, you know what,
00:02:05.880 with AI being what it is, maybe we're about to be replaced by kinder, gentler Terminators in the near
00:02:12.640 future. But I wish I had the skills to be a plumber, to be an altrician. And I tell that to
00:02:20.720 people, you know, don't put your kids in the university taking crazy bird courses like gender
00:02:26.740 studies. Go to the trades. There's so much money there. The trades are begging for great workers.
00:02:33.600 If I had to do it all over again, that's where I'd go. I mean, we had our longtime employee,
00:02:38.920 Brian, a couple of years ago, he left to become an altrician. And I thought that was fantastic. I
00:02:44.520 signed his farewell card. I said, dear Brian, please, when you're working with electrical
00:02:50.980 appliances and whatnot, do not get electrocuted. But if you do get electrocuted, I hope you don't die
00:02:58.780 and instead become like the Spider-Man villain, electoral. Yeah.
00:03:02.580 There you go. All the villains. Well, you heard of your first, ladies and gentlemen, David Menzies
00:03:07.200 in a past life would have been a plumber or electrician. Yes. All right. So if you're just
00:03:13.180 tuning in from home, we're not going to discuss David's pet projects and his school wishes, how he
00:03:21.060 would have deviated from his journalistic path, which I'm sure all of our viewers at home are so
00:03:26.560 happy that you set forth on to. But this is our daily live stream where we dissect some news of
00:03:34.240 the day and some of our own stories. And for anyone joining us at home, you're probably watching us on
00:03:39.720 one of I think it's five different platforms that we stream on. So YouTube, where we have a massive
00:03:45.480 following there, despite the fact that they have completely demonetized us. And really, we kind of
00:03:51.960 teeter on that fine line of being deplatformed completely. We have to unfortunately self-censor
00:03:58.080 if we want to stay on YouTube. But we're also on Rumble, Odyssey, Twitter, and Getter. And so
00:04:07.580 because YouTube's demonetized us, you can only engage with us directly on Rumble and Odyssey
00:04:15.440 through hyper chat or a super chat. And so that's a fun way for you to give us a small
00:04:21.520 monetary donation of $5 or more. And then we will read your comment on screen. And maybe it's a tip
00:04:27.440 or you want to get our feedback or just banter with us. So head on over to one of those other
00:04:33.400 platforms. If you're not there already, send us a little super chat because it helps fund our
00:04:39.380 independent journalism. And much like the state broadcaster, all of our mainstream media, we don't
00:04:46.080 take a dime from the government. And so other than having to self-censor a little bit to stay on
00:04:51.680 certain platforms, we're allowed to report on whatever we, following the facts, wherever they
00:04:58.080 may lead. And so that's what we do. I am so astonished at how you remember all that. And you
00:05:04.480 know, whenever I hear Getter, I always say to myself, good thing it wasn't called Grabber. Because I think
00:05:10.380 of that poor fellow in the East Coast, his actual surname, folks, is Grabber. And he had a vanity
00:05:16.820 plate stating that for like 20 years. And then one complaint came in thinking that his surname,
00:05:24.140 Grabber, meant grab her, speaking of me too. And they took it away from him. I mean, this is the
00:05:30.680 censorious world we live in. And which leads us to our topic, because I know we have to be careful when
00:05:37.700 it comes to anything vaccine related, because the great gargoyles of YouTube might give us the whammy
00:05:46.760 if we say something incorrect in terms of a thought crime. But I see, oh, goodness gracious,
00:05:55.140 Tamara, blackface, he's at it again. He's going on about misinformation and disinformation. This is the
00:06:01.780 guy. I've lost track of the scandals. The We Charity, the Trudeau Foundation, Chinese interference,
00:06:09.340 allegedly in our elections, SNC-Lavalin, Jody Wilson-Raybould. I mean,
00:06:15.620 Oh, yeah. Like I said, I've lost track. You know, it's like I need a scorecard. But yeah, he's going on
00:06:24.920 about misinformation and disinformation vis-a-vis information surrounding the vaccines. Let's
00:06:31.720 see what blackface has to say and try to make sense of it all. Oh, gosh. Good luck.
00:06:40.060 We're in perpetual load. Oh, it's the wheel of death. Well, you know what? I'll tell you,
00:06:46.540 maybe that's a gift. When blackface is censored by the tech gremlins, who am I to complain? Oh,
00:06:56.600 I think we got it now. Here you go. Well, if someone looks outside and says it's a beautiful
00:07:02.160 blue sky, sunny day today, we would know that's wrong because our experience here in Ottawa,
00:07:10.560 our experience looking out the window tells us otherwise.
00:07:13.120 We experienced it differently. But if someone says the earth is flat,
00:07:19.480 you can see extensive YouTube pages devoted by people who've decided, and this is a recent
00:07:27.720 phenomenon over the past decade or so, that the earth is flat because their experience as they
00:07:32.860 look out to the horizon is, boy, the earth sure looks flat. So it can't just be about perception.
00:07:38.680 You look on the weather channel. Oh, it's raining in Ottawa. Okay. So it's not a blue sky, sunny day.
00:07:43.120 We have to agree that we're going to agree with the weather channel on this or with the
00:07:48.680 scientists from Environment Canada who are saying that it is sunny today in Ottawa, or it is rainy
00:07:55.100 here today in Ottawa. There has to be an acceptance that there are experts out there that create
00:08:03.220 a basis of fact that was built up on in generations to tell us that water is wet and it freezes at zero
00:08:16.380 degrees Celsius. There are scientific realities that have been proven and accepted. And the challenge
00:08:24.960 that we have now is that increasingly misinformation and disinformation is carrying people to believe
00:08:33.920 things that are untrue. And vaccinations is a perfect example of it.
00:08:40.840 Yeah. Oh, Tamara, is that not rich? Blackface lecturing us on disinformation and misinformation.
00:08:52.980 And one of his examples is vaccines. And I know you've got lots to say about that, but I got to ask
00:08:59.780 you a question. Given that delivery, and I know he's a former part-time drama teacher, was he auditioning
00:09:05.440 there for the host of Romper Room? I felt like this was a junior kindergarten teacher lecturing the little
00:09:14.260 kids in the classroom on blue skies and a sunny day. I mean, that was embarrassing.
00:09:22.040 It really was. It's coming from the government who, you know, espoused this claim as safe and effective and
00:09:27.020 now is slowly trying to backpedal on the fact that they incentivized people to go out and get this
00:09:35.340 vaccine when really their incentivization was straight up coercion because they stole people's
00:09:43.760 gainful employment, stole away their ability to get EI, so employment insurance for anyone who was
00:09:52.660 found to be in non-compliance with a workplace safety mandate, i.e. the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
00:10:00.240 So it's really funny to see because we have the receipts. We actually have all of the clips where
00:10:06.540 Trudeau espoused very segregationist rhetoric about who is and is not vaccinated and who is and isn't
00:10:15.120 putting people at risk. I mean, he even went so far as to say, don't you dare think that you can get
00:10:21.380 out on a plane, a train or I think he said automobile and put my children at risk. The rhetoric espoused by
00:10:30.880 Trudeau when he campaigned on the COVID-19 wedge issue of vaccination was astounding to see from an
00:10:41.280 apparently Democratic leader. But now they're backpedaling completely and pretending like none of
00:10:46.860 that stuff happened. Actually, we have the next clip here is that Trudeau says he didn't force
00:10:52.960 anybody to get the jab. Oh, yeah, right.
00:10:56.140 Like any modern bit of medical advancements, there are potential side effects in vaccinations.
00:11:11.460 And there are people who've probably gotten very sick from vaccinations on the billions of people
00:11:17.340 who've been vaccinated against COVID over the past few years. But there are far more people who
00:11:23.940 obviously have died due to COVID, died from not getting vaccinated. And the idea that people can
00:11:32.620 fly in the face of science, well, individuals are allowed to make their own choices. There may be all
00:11:38.820 sorts of different reasons why someone is hesitant to get vaccinated. But I make a distinction, I have
00:11:44.740 always have between someone choosing for personal reasons, to choose not to get vaccinated. And
00:11:54.420 someone deliberately using misinformation to mislead and scare other people with so-called facts that aren't
00:12:08.580 facts at all that lead them to make a choice that endangers their lives and the lives of other citizens.
00:12:18.260 So as Prime Minister, through the greatest public health crisis that we've faced in 100 years in this country,
00:12:28.260 since the Spanish flu, my responsibility was to keep as many Canadians alive as possible.
00:12:37.940 And all of the scientists and the medical experts and the researchers, not just in Canada, but around the world,
00:12:45.940 understood that vaccination was going to be the way through this.
00:12:51.940 And therefore, while not forcing anyone to get vaccinated, I chose to make sure that all the
00:12:59.940 incentives and all the protections were there to encourage Canadians to get vaccinated. And that's
00:13:06.180 exactly what they did. We got vaccinated to a higher level than just about any other of our peer countries.
00:13:11.540 And that's why we had a less deadly pandemic than most other countries.
00:13:16.340 Yeah, you know, Tamara, blackface does it again. You know, he is correct, folks. There were no
00:13:27.220 forced vaccinations, i.e. the federal government didn't have vans shanghaing people off the streets
00:13:32.740 and jabbing a needle into their arms. But that's not to say there was no coercion, you know, like being
00:13:39.460 suspended without pay, which is a fancy way of saying you're fired and let you if you don't get the jab,
00:13:47.540 you're not going to have your job. That is the I mean, talk about misinformation and disinformation.
00:13:54.260 Tamara, if he was giving his government and other governments, municipalities, provincial governments,
00:14:00.660 there's plenty of blame to go around here. They were giving people, millions of Canadians,
00:14:07.540 an economic death sentence unless they complied. To me, that is a forced vaccination. I'm sorry.
00:14:15.300 Well, and that's one of the WHO is the World Health Organization's number one social determinant
00:14:21.220 of health is your ability to be gainfully employed and having that financial security.
00:14:27.060 And that was stolen from people by this same government all throughout 2021. I mean, personally,
00:14:33.140 I have a friend who I don't know if they'll go back to working with the federal government, but had a job
00:14:39.220 with the federal government in 2021, was pregnant, did not want to receive this experimental injection,
00:14:46.100 despite being very much pro other vaccines and had to go on an early maternity leave because it came,
00:14:55.540 push was coming to shove and there was decisions that had to be made. And so has been on an early and now
00:15:01.860 extended maternity leave ever since. And I don't know what will happen in the end. But it's very clear
00:15:07.860 from also the people that I've heard from both in journalistic reporting, but also in my personal life,
00:15:13.540 that this government instituted a heavy handed vaccine mandate. Either you get it or you'll face job loss.
00:15:20.660 And the funny thing is that these injections were once sold to us as 100 percent safe and effective,
00:15:27.860 right? You you there was no risk of a vaccine reaction. And now you have our fearless leader,
00:15:36.020 Justin Trudeau, acknowledging that there are risks. Well, where were you the last two plus years stating that
00:15:44.500 these were 100 percent safe and effective for everyone from six months old up until, you know,
00:15:50.900 you're on your deathbed? Oh, 100 percent. And, you know, here's an anecdote, Tamara. And I don't
00:15:55.540 know if you're coming across this more and more frequently because I sure am. Just last week,
00:16:00.340 I was at my eye doctor for an appointment. I was speaking to the assistant to my eye doctor and she told
00:16:06.500 me a lovely lady in her 40s, very healthy. She said that she got the two jabs and the two boosters.
00:16:15.700 Wow. Four. Yes. Total buyer's remorse. You want to know why? She got COVID three times after two jabs.
00:16:24.420 And so, I mean, it doesn't even work. I mean, and and the people that are pro vaccine, they say
00:16:32.980 that, oh, yeah, you got COVID. But you see, here's the benefit. If you hadn't had your jabs,
00:16:38.260 it would have been much more severe. How can you prove that? Exactly. You can neither prove or
00:16:42.180 disprove that. I also want to say, too, in the first clip, I really take umbrage to this. Trudeau
00:16:48.500 comparing people who have hesitancy to getting vaccinated with an experimental mRNA vaccine,
00:16:56.420 he called them, he drew the apparel to flat earthers, right? It's not the first time.
00:17:01.460 But that's astonishing. And I know I know we're going to get, you know, feedback from people
00:17:08.340 that believe this. There's even a flat earth convention that takes place every year. I'd
00:17:13.140 love to cover that. I think it would be a dissent to demand this. But I think that's more a product
00:17:19.140 of the Internet. I mean, put another way, Tamara, you're you're aware of the bronies, right?
00:17:24.980 These are jabronis. No, not jabronis, the bronies. These are mature adult males that are obsessed with
00:17:32.980 My Little Pony. And what I'm saying, and until recently, there was an annual convention,
00:17:38.980 drew thousands of them. And I think before the Internet, Tamara, say I had that obsession.
00:17:46.260 You know, I'd be in my basement going, oh, my God, I am obsessed.
00:17:53.460 I'm obsessed with you're not making this up. Yeah. No, I'm not. I'm obsessed with a cartoon
00:17:58.580 that's targeted towards girls age three to seven. Gross. What is wrong with me? You know,
00:18:06.020 I need psychiatric help. But you go into the Internet and you know what? You find out there's
00:18:11.860 clubs, there's conventions, there's thousands of people like that. Hey, I'm I'm part of a thing.
00:18:18.420 You know, I'm a brony and say it loud, say it proud. This has been one of the most unfortunate
00:18:24.740 effects, I think, on misinformation and disinformation. It's just the very existence of the Internet.
00:18:31.460 Let's not forget that this government was the purveyor of myths and disinformation
00:18:37.780 throughout the onset of the pandemic. Right at the beginning, March 2020, our public health
00:18:43.300 overlord chief medical chief public health officer, Theresa Tam, well, she couldn't decide whether
00:18:49.700 or not we should close the borders. At first it was racist and phobic. And then all of a sudden
00:18:55.140 we should close the borders. And then at first it was masks don't work. They do nothing to stop
00:19:01.060 the spread of a virus, an invisible virus at that. And then all of a sudden masks do work.
00:19:07.380 And so the flip-flopping of this government throughout the last three years, but very heavily
00:19:13.700 in those first few months of the pandemic, as they disregarded completely all of the well-established
00:19:20.100 pandemic response plans that we had in place, both as a country and also preventionally,
00:19:28.580 they have been the leaders of misinformation. And now they're just flipping that script onto anybody
00:19:34.660 who was actually following the science or following the facts and pointing out those loopholes.
00:19:39.620 So this is really an interesting unfolding and there's no acknowledgement of a need for an
00:19:45.140 apology here. This is just trying to cover your rear end.
00:19:48.420 Yeah. No. And Tamara, I'm surprised you forgot the biggest lie of all. Remember two weeks to flatten the
00:19:54.180 curve? Remember that? Yes.
00:19:54.980 You know what that reminded me? There's a movie from, I think it's 1985. It's called The Money Pit.
00:20:00.340 I think Tom Hanks is the star in it. And it's not a very good movie. I don't recommend it. But
00:20:06.180 what I did like, there's a running joke. It's this couple, they inherit this mansion,
00:20:11.700 but it requires extensive renovations. So there's plumbers, there's construction workers,
00:20:17.700 electricians are all working on this. And they say throughout the entire movie,
00:20:23.300 how long is it going to be until you're finished? And the Stan Pat answer is two weeks.
00:20:28.900 And the funniest part is that midway through the film, Hanks is losing it. He says, look,
00:20:33.700 you've been saying two weeks all this time. I want to know right now, right now,
00:20:38.500 how long is it going to take for this renovation to be completed? And the guy goes, seriously,
00:20:43.540 two weeks. That's it. And it fades to black. And then it opens up again. And the title card says,
00:20:51.460 six months later, and the house looks exactly the same. That was the unfunny comedy of the pandemic.
00:21:00.500 This nonsense, two weeks, or another two weeks, would you believe two months? How about two years,
00:21:05.860 two decades? And also, from what we know, Tamara, I look at some of our leaders like the now disgraced
00:21:18.020 John Tory, right? Here's a guy that sicked the mounted unit on Adam Skelly, shut down Adamson's
00:21:26.180 barbecue. Here's the guy that was having the Parks and Rec people paint social distancing circles,
00:21:34.420 800 of them at Trinity Bellwoods Park. And you've got to stay in your circle. And if you get out of
00:21:38.820 the circle, you're going to get an $860 fine. Here's a guy that was so holier than thou, even
00:21:45.380 recommending masking between bites while you eat. And yet, what did we find out during this very time?
00:21:53.140 He was chasing Emily Hillstrom around the cottage, his words, in an email that went to the wrong
00:21:59.300 person, by the way. You know, so the audacity, the chutzpah that these moral authorities,
00:22:07.860 they weren't just, you know, fudging the rules. They were
00:22:11.300 disintegrating the rules when it came to their own livelihoods.
00:22:14.980 The exact hypocrisy of the bureaucracy that we point out repeatedly is that, what's your saying?
00:22:22.260 Rules for me and rules for thee. That's right. That's right. So as John Tory is locking you up
00:22:29.380 inside of your house, telling you to stay home and save lives, he was also gallivanting over to
00:22:33.940 Florida, his vacation home. That's right. His $10 million mansion. And I don't know if we ever,
00:22:38.660 we had drone footage of somebody coming out of that mansion. This is never a good look, folks. Never do
00:22:45.860 this, even if you are guilty, because it looks even worse. The person put their coat over their head.
00:22:51.300 Right? Because they didn't want to be seen. You know, we'll eventually find out. So, yeah. And also,
00:23:00.020 I openly question, where was Mrs. Tory getting her hair done? Because not a single hair looked out of
00:23:09.380 place during that pandemic. That's, by the way, the reason I wear a hat.
00:23:13.860 It's interesting that you say that because my local medical officer of health who quietly retired
00:23:19.540 toward the end of 2020, when we were all told that cash was unsafe, remember there was that
00:23:26.020 heavy promotion of using interact and digital interface to pay with. So she was going to a
00:23:32.180 local hairstylist and someone who was there tipped me off that she was paying cash for her salon services
00:23:40.100 at a time when all of these medical officers of health were in unison saying to, you know,
00:23:45.700 encouraging touchless interaction and discouraging the use of dirty, grimy COVID spreading cash.
00:23:54.820 And you know, the most despicable thing of all, and we covered it certainly, Tamara, was
00:23:59.540 gyms being forced to shut down. So you're out of work, you're at home,
00:24:04.740 you can't go to the gym to do something healthy, such as lift weights or do cardio exercises.
00:24:12.420 And then you've got Fat Bastard himself, Premier Doug Ford, recommending that everybody eat cherry
00:24:18.100 cheesecake. Yeah. Great advice, Premier. I guess we really want to increase obesity,
00:24:24.100 heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol. Unbelievable. But those were our so-called
00:24:30.260 leaders during the pandemic. You know, Tamara, we have to break for an ad. Before we go to an ad
00:24:35.380 break, let's just read out this one super chat because it relates to the topic. And then we'll
00:24:40.660 head to an ad break. Adam Ott gives $5. I guess blackface never heard of the old joke that weathermen
00:24:48.900 are like politicians. Both are liars. What a bad analogy to use for his myths and disinformation campaign.
00:24:57.460 That whole speech was a lie. Oh, Adam Ott, you are speaking my language. I've long said, Tamara,
00:25:04.020 that the best gig on the planet is being a weatherman or weather woman, weather person,
00:25:10.420 however you want to frame it. You say, you know, it's going to be about nine to 12 degrees and there's
00:25:18.260 like a 40 to 80 percent chance of right. And you can even with those ranges, you can be absolutely dead
00:25:24.660 wrong. And you know what? You never get a memo. You never get reprimanded. You never get fired.
00:25:30.420 You can fail every day and still be gainfully employed. Yeah. Much like blackface has failed us
00:25:38.020 every day since 2015 and still gainfully employed. And gets a raise. That's right.
00:25:44.260 So we'll go to a quick ad break. We'll come back for more. Right-o.
00:25:47.700 The Tamara Leach has been released from jail. Western separatist Tamara Leach.
00:25:53.540 Leach will remain in custody. We have breaking news out of Ottawa to tell you about. A judge has
00:25:58.340 made a decision on whether to grant bail for Tamara Leach, one of the leaders of that recent
00:26:03.060 demonstration in Ottawa. You may have seen me on the news, but there's more to my story.
00:26:19.060 In my new book, Hold the Line, I share the story of the Freedom Convoy from the heart of the Freedom
00:26:24.580 Convoy. It's a story of hope, courage and coming together as a community in the Canadian way. You
00:26:31.060 can buy my new book at theconvoybook.com and in that book you're going to hear stories from the heart
00:26:35.940 of the convoy as well as my arrest and my time in jail like you've never heard them before. Until
00:26:42.100 very recently I've been quite silent because of my bail conditions, but now I'm ready to tell my story,
00:26:48.100 my side of the story. I know the mainstream media isn't going to be fair to me as they've already called
00:26:53.380 me and my friends from the convoy terrorists. There is increasing concern about violent online
00:26:58.900 rhetoric supporting the convoy and that those with extreme views are planning on attending.
00:27:03.540 The Mayor who made, in my estimation, just a horrendous decision to negotiate with terrorists.
00:27:10.260 So I'm launching a book tour across Canada. We'll be doing interviews, signing books,
00:27:15.620 and saying thank you to all Canadians for your support. I've partnered with Rebel News to crowdfund for
00:27:22.100 the cost of my book as well as our advertising campaign. With your help we'll be purchasing ads
00:27:28.980 and billboards to spread the word about my book. We'll also be upgrading my home studio which will
00:27:34.260 enable me to do interviews all around the world. If you're a shop owner or a business owner and you'd
00:27:39.460 like to have a book signing, please fill out the form on our website which you can find here. And if you'd
00:27:44.500 like to make a donation for the tour, we'll greatly appreciate it. The first 500 people to send in a
00:27:50.180 donation of $200 or more will receive a free signed copy of my book. Hold the line, my story from the
00:27:57.220 heart of the Freedom Convoy. The last time I drove across Canada, something very special happened.
00:28:02.980 Let's make that happen again. Go to theconvoybook.com. Thank you.
00:28:07.460 Oh, what a delightful lady, Tamara Leach. You know, I love the title, of course, Hold the Line.
00:28:18.180 And I remember back when the trucker convoys were happening, Tamara, hold the line. Oh,
00:28:24.260 what a bunch of white supremacists. It's an insurrection. You know, bring in the Emergencies
00:28:28.580 Act. And yet, last week, I'm looking at the Public Sector Alliance of Canada, all those federal workers,
00:28:35.540 more than 155,000 of them. And they're tweeting out, hold the line. Say, Tamara, do you think
00:28:42.500 Blackface is going to invoke the Emergencies Act again? Same language. I was wondering the same,
00:28:47.220 but then I noticed that none of them could show up on the weekends because their cause is so
00:28:51.860 important to them. And it's so crucial that they get out there on the picket lines and have their
00:28:56.260 voices heard. But none of them could come out when they weren't being paid to do so on Saturday and
00:29:00.340 Sunday. Oh, and when Lincoln and I went to cover the picket line in Toronto, not only would not,
00:29:09.780 not a single one of them would make a comment, but it was uncanny. Talk about banker's hours.
00:29:14.900 By the time 4pm rolled around, it was like just a few remaining stragglers. Maybe they were waiting
00:29:22.420 for their Uber rides or something. But, you know, and that is a significant number,
00:29:27.300 4pm because that's one of their demands. If they work past 4pm, they get a special bonus of such a
00:29:34.020 rate, you know. If they can even make it into the office. Oh, yeah. Yeah. They want to telework.
00:29:38.980 That means work from home. Perpetually. And remember, the reason for that was COVID.
00:29:46.740 COVID's gone. It's in the rear view mirror. Get back to work. I mean, you know, that's too much to
00:29:52.020 ask for. But and now and of course, they said and I noted the language of the head of the PSAC.
00:30:02.100 We're not going to inconvenience Canadians yet. Well, as of yesterday, guess what? They started
00:30:07.860 in inconveniencing Canadians. They've now gone to some ports like in Montreal. And and he has hinted
00:30:16.420 they'll be going to airports soon and even land bridge crossings. So his advice is, yeah,
00:30:24.580 factor in extra hours of travel time hours. Yeah. You know, it's really easy for this jabroni to say
00:30:31.940 that he gets paid for every hour and probably time and a half after 4pm. But for the rest of us and,
00:30:40.180 you know, and the audacity to the CRA is out on strike Canada Revenue Agency. And they're saying,
00:30:46.660 but oh, pay your taxes on time or else. I mean, Tamara, this is a slap in the face to hard working
00:30:54.820 Canadians in the private sector that don't get this kind of entitlement. I mean, what the government's
00:31:00.260 offering 9% over three years, everyone I know says they'd be doing cartwheels if the boss said that to
00:31:06.900 them. Yeah. But instead, we're not the anointed ones. We're not the federal bureaucracy. Well,
00:31:12.020 what's always interesting is when the feds strike, no one notices. So we'll see. We'll see how that
00:31:18.660 unfolds. I'll tell you something, Tamara, because I'm of an age where I remember this. Back in the 70s,
00:31:23.940 Canada Post, almost on an annual basis, went out on strike. And they literally held the country hostage
00:31:32.180 because that's how bills were paid. That's how people got paycheck. You name it. And today,
00:31:39.140 if Canada Post went out on strike, oh, no, you mean I'm not going to get my junk mail today? Are you
00:31:45.140 kidding me? It's all online. So yeah, I think a Canada Post strike is now a redundant thing,
00:31:52.180 thank God, because the internet. Yeah, I guess there's some good things about the internet now,
00:31:56.260 right? That's right. Some good things. But before we move on to our next topic,
00:32:01.060 I wanted to let all of our viewers know at home, so especially if you're watching us on Rumble or
00:32:06.260 YouTube, that we are excited to announce that we are now live on Locals.com. So that is a place
00:32:15.060 where, and maybe we can pull up our profile there, but Locals.com is a place where we can engage with
00:32:23.540 each other, share our thoughts and ideas, and most importantly, stand up for and uphold our right to
00:32:30.580 free speech without the fear of censorship or being deplatformed. So it's a space where you can access
00:32:38.980 all of our free content, but if you would like to get a little bit more, a little bit extra, then you can
00:32:44.980 find all of our premium Rebel News Plus content there too. And if you become a supporter, you can
00:32:53.060 get access to some of those previous shows as well, or sorry, those premium shows as well. So if you head
00:32:59.300 on over to Locals.com, you can join our community and subscribe to it there today. And again, if you're
00:33:05.860 on Rumble or YouTube, you can just, you'll see the link pop up there. So you can just click that,
00:33:11.780 and it's an easy redirect where you can sign up and follow us there. So we're going to be slowly
00:33:16.660 building out that platform in hopes of avoiding censorship and deplatforming. So I urge and
00:33:23.620 encourage everyone to go there and check it out. Speaking of hope, can you stick around after work
00:33:29.300 and tutor me and this Locals thing, Tamara? You know me, I mean, I'm unfrozen caveman journalist here.
00:33:35.140 Fast moving cars and bright lights frighten and confuse me. And here's yet another platform. I don't
00:33:41.140 have a clue. So I need Tamara's help. She's smarter than your average bear.
00:33:45.780 We're hoping to streamline things through Locals so that you don't have to worry about all these
00:33:49.940 other platforms, David. Don't worry. We can hold your hand through it.
00:33:53.300 Please. So, well, goodness gracious, Lincoln Jay, our ace photographer and editor and myself,
00:34:03.860 we went down to Kitchener last night to take in the Waterloo Catholic School trustees board meeting.
00:34:12.740 And basically, there were dozens of demonstrators there, very angry parents, because trustee
00:34:20.420 Wendy Ashby, she tweeted out, and I'm not making this up, this is a trustee of a Catholic school board,
00:34:28.180 that a white Christian male is the most dangerous thing on the planet. And there was a petition the
00:34:36.740 parents wanted to deliver. And we sat there and then we listened to a really boring presentation.
00:34:42.580 And the guy said, any questions? Oh, I had a question. And they all ended up running away.
00:34:49.940 Gee, was it something I said? Let's roll the video.
00:34:52.580 You and a trustee by the name of Wendy Ashby say, the most dangerous creature on the planet
00:35:01.060 is the white Christian male. Point of order, please be aware that such behavior and effort
00:35:06.100 does this, excuse me, does this board condemn or approve this statement?
00:35:11.780 Please be aware that such behavior could result in your removal from this proceeding, should it continue?
00:35:15.780 Please be aware that such behavior could result in your removal from this proceeding, should it continue?
00:35:26.420 Hello, everyone.
00:35:28.420 Hi.
00:35:29.300 Excuse me.
00:35:31.300 I'm so excited.
00:35:33.140 I'm so excited.
00:35:34.260 I'm so excited.
00:35:34.740 Obviously, I understand why we're all here tonight.
00:35:36.740 Oh, I'm so excited.
00:35:41.220 I'm not white, and I'm not Christian myself, but my wife is Catholic, and she is white.
00:35:49.820 My kids are a lot lighter shade of color than I am, and to me, this is concerning, because
00:35:56.320 regardless of your skin color or your ethnicity, you should not be hearing products that are
00:36:04.020 hateful and disrespectful towards me.
00:36:05.880 So, Tamara, let me tell you and our beloved audience what happened.
00:36:11.920 I got ejected in a du rigueur fashion.
00:36:15.800 Of course.
00:36:16.400 Luckily, they didn't know that Lincoln was with me, so they had him stay.
00:36:21.220 So I was on the outside.
00:36:22.640 Lincoln was on the inside.
00:36:24.880 Six Waterloo Regional Police cruisers, SUVs, six of them showed up.
00:36:31.420 So the board brought in the state muscle, and what ensued inside, because I waited for
00:36:38.680 the parents to come out after they had their shtick, it was like a hostage negotiation, Tamara.
00:36:44.940 The police would talk to the parents, what are you looking for?
00:36:49.320 They'd go to the school board trustees that were all hiding in their offices.
00:36:53.820 And basically, the compromise was this.
00:36:58.440 One parent, and you saw the gentleman, one parent can get up and ask one question or make
00:37:05.560 one statement.
00:37:07.100 That's it.
00:37:08.120 And if you agree to that, the trustees will come back out.
00:37:11.540 And after he stated the disappointment of that trustee, Ashby, saying that comment, which
00:37:21.140 is racist, sexist, and anti-Christian, not a single trustee, not a single member of that
00:37:33.320 school board denounced those comments.
00:37:35.700 And in addition to being a racist and a sexist, well, Ashby is also a coward, folks, because
00:37:41.600 she knew there was going to be a demonstration.
00:37:43.820 So guess what?
00:37:44.840 She mailed it in.
00:37:46.120 Yeah, she got on Zoom.
00:37:47.500 She didn't dare show her face.
00:37:49.140 I mean, as if she was in any danger.
00:37:50.700 I mean, these are parents.
00:37:51.800 They're peaceful protesters.
00:37:53.720 She's the one spreading hatred and division.
00:37:56.540 Tamara Ugolini, can you believe it?
00:37:58.620 A trustee on a Catholic school board saying that?
00:38:02.540 I can't.
00:38:03.140 I was going to reiterate the fact that this is a Catholic school board and you're condemning
00:38:07.220 Catholics.
00:38:08.860 Yeah.
00:38:09.500 This is just atrocious.
00:38:10.860 And again, another point where it's time for the Minister of Education, Stephen Lecce,
00:38:16.740 to step in here because these boards have gone rogue, really.
00:38:20.320 They've gone completely rogue.
00:38:22.860 They're acting like woke, ideologically driven bureaucrats.
00:38:30.720 And with zero accountability, zero transparency.
00:38:34.360 And I think this is really part of why the Ontario government is moving to introduce new
00:38:40.600 legislation.
00:38:42.240 Let me just.
00:38:43.280 But they don't need to.
00:38:44.180 And you mentioned Lecce.
00:38:45.380 I mean, the other day I picked up a milk carton and I saw there was an illustration on it,
00:38:50.800 Tamara.
00:38:51.060 And it was Lecce's spine and it had the word missing.
00:38:56.380 I mean, Stephen Lecce is now like a professional wrestling referee.
00:39:01.500 It's like, listen, Ugolini, I've warned you eight times not to use that foreign object.
00:39:06.860 And if you use it again, I'm going to warn you a ninth time.
00:39:10.100 That's Stephen Lecce.
00:39:11.900 And he has the power.
00:39:13.660 Forget about this new legislation.
00:39:15.300 He has the power when it comes to the Holton District school board and the infamous Busty
00:39:20.600 Lemieux.
00:39:21.260 He has the power to tell these jabronis there to implement a dress code.
00:39:26.060 They won't.
00:39:26.980 He has the power, if he wanted to, to dissolve a school board.
00:39:30.640 It's been done in Alberta and he has the same power.
00:39:33.720 And as a matter of fact, Tamara, why do we need school boards anymore?
00:39:38.240 Think about it.
00:39:39.000 We have a minister of education and principals are very much empowered.
00:39:43.440 Why do we have these middlemen meddling with the education system?
00:39:49.380 And really what we've seen in the last several years, folks, is that these aren't people committed
00:39:54.700 to public service.
00:39:56.300 These are Marxists using the school board trustee position as their ascent into higher politics,
00:40:03.640 municipal, provincial, federal, you name it.
00:40:07.200 We don't need these guys.
00:40:08.640 See, I would argue that your principal is actually just a glorified administrator.
00:40:13.900 And so there they have to succumb to the whims of whatever the school board enforces.
00:40:20.640 But if the school board were null and if they were dissolved, then, yeah, perhaps that power
00:40:26.000 could be put back into the hands of a principal.
00:40:28.740 And I think that the point that you're making here is kind of a cowardice way that Lecce,
00:40:35.420 our education minister, is going about all of this is by trying to introduce this new piece
00:40:41.100 of legislation that looks great on paper, right?
00:40:43.380 It's supposed to improve accountability and transparency in publicly funded schools.
00:40:48.980 But as you've mentioned, he already has the power to do that.
00:40:52.920 And obviously, over the last several months, as we've seen the Busty Lemieux saga, which
00:40:57.520 I don't which we won't get into heavily here, but I'm sure all of our viewers are familiar
00:41:03.180 with it.
00:41:04.240 But as we've seen over the past several months, he's just failed to act and do any of that.
00:41:08.500 Oh, well, we caught him red handed earlier this month.
00:41:11.260 Remember, he told folks, the New York Post, that these are not props.
00:41:15.020 These are not prosthetics.
00:41:16.340 These are real mammary glands.
00:41:17.720 He started developing at 39.
00:41:20.900 He's got this medical condition.
00:41:22.580 And to the home district school board, oh, this was a gift from God.
00:41:25.980 You see, we can't fire him now.
00:41:28.340 This would be like firing a handicapped individual because we don't like the fact that they're
00:41:32.660 in a wheelchair.
00:41:33.820 This is human rights.
00:41:35.540 And we busted him at the Maple View Mall.
00:41:39.300 He fled via an Uber car, left his real vehicle behind.
00:41:44.060 So to me, Tamara, you lied to your employer.
00:41:46.700 You know what?
00:41:48.680 Termination with cause, period.
00:41:50.580 Exactly.
00:41:50.780 No, it's still human rights.
00:41:53.060 It's still about inclusivity.
00:41:55.140 So basically, the inclusivity is extended to grifters, liars, and cheats.
00:42:01.140 That's your Halton District School Board.
00:42:03.320 They're absolutely shameful.
00:42:04.760 And equally shameful is Stephen Lecce for not disbanding these bunch of woke joke educrats
00:42:11.440 who really, at the end of the day, folks, they hate the parents and even hate the kids.
00:42:15.920 And they don't even want to hear from the parents.
00:42:17.540 And that's the really unfortunate part is that this could be alleviated.
00:42:20.960 I think if there was a discussion, a debate, if parents felt like their voices were being
00:42:24.660 heard, their concerns were validated, then it's likely that this could be sorted through.
00:42:29.120 But it's obviously not of interest to the boards to do so.
00:42:33.040 100%.
00:42:33.560 Now, before we move on, we did have a super chat here from Aaron Burton, 32, gives $5.
00:42:39.660 Thank you.
00:42:40.680 David, amazing report on the Toronto Police last week.
00:42:44.100 Unbelievable.
00:42:44.700 Are you able to find that person who uses no preferred pronouns and ask it how that's possible?
00:42:53.720 Well, Aaron, thank you so much for that.
00:42:56.480 And what Aaron is referring to, and this is why, folks, if you're not a premium subscriber
00:43:01.920 to Rebel News, please think that over and subscribe.
00:43:07.120 I was filling in for Ezra on the Ezra Levent Show.
00:43:10.660 And we broke a story.
00:43:12.940 It's a hell of a scoop.
00:43:13.800 It's basically the Toronto Police going woke, not by their own choice, mind you, you know,
00:43:23.080 unlike, say, Anaheuser-Busch or Disney World.
00:43:26.740 They're being forced to by the Ontario Human Rights Commission, so woke that transgender
00:43:32.920 people, according to the Toronto Police, they don't have equal rights.
00:43:37.520 They have special rights.
00:43:38.780 And as an example, you know, when you're put in a holding cell, and yeah, I spoke to the
00:43:43.800 speak from experience being a political prisoner in this country, you surrender your necktie,
00:43:50.040 your shoelaces, your belt, anything that can be weaponized or that you can use to commit
00:43:55.300 suicide.
00:43:55.880 But if it's a transgendered person and they have a dildo, and that's the example given, I'm not making any of this up.
00:44:05.060 That's not a sex toy.
00:44:07.300 That is a so-called gender affirming article.
00:44:11.300 And you are forbidden to remove it from the trans person.
00:44:15.300 And I got to tell you, you know, I have an ex-soldier friend, he has a saying, anything can be used as a weapon.
00:44:23.540 And that would include a dildo, Tamara Ugolini.
00:44:28.540 And that's the thing, there's an excerpt of that monologue posted on YouTube, and I believe Rumble, but if you want the full meal deal, please subscribe.
00:44:42.700 And actually, there's a picture right there.
00:44:44.680 This is from the training module.
00:44:46.680 If we can get it over to our audience.
00:44:47.780 Or, you know, there you go.
00:44:49.800 These are, look at that, folks.
00:44:51.580 I know you think you walked into a sex shop, but no, these are gender affirming articles for the trans community.
00:44:59.140 And you dare not take away their toys.
00:45:03.620 Unbelievable.
00:45:04.700 It truly, truly is unbelievable.
00:45:07.060 Every day, I'm like, is it, have we, have we reached the peak hysteria yet?
00:45:11.700 Have we reached peak crazy?
00:45:13.320 And then tomorrow comes.
00:45:15.640 And it's so crazy.
00:45:16.740 One of the persons giving the training is Sergeant Chevalier, and he's always so sensitive, you know.
00:45:26.900 Thank God we have sensitive cops.
00:45:28.840 I mean, I know, you know, people are getting stabbed at random in Toronto, shoved off subway platforms, what have you.
00:45:36.060 There he is.
00:45:37.560 So he gave this anecdote that he's got a niece, but the niece might be identifying as his nephew.
00:45:45.760 So to avoid offense, and this is the example he's giving to the cops, and you can see in the subtitles.
00:45:53.560 Let's wait for it.
00:45:55.820 Nibbling.
00:45:56.180 It's not a niece or a nephew, it's a nibbling.
00:45:59.140 Nibbling, isn't that a brand of jolly green giant corn or something, Tamara?
00:46:03.800 Nibblets.
00:46:05.920 Nibblets.
00:46:06.320 That's right.
00:46:07.000 Anyhow, you know what?
00:46:09.800 Before we go on, we should take another ad break.
00:46:13.540 This will be our second of three ad breaks.
00:46:15.440 So we'll see you on the other side, folks.
00:46:17.740 I am doing something today that I have never tried before.
00:46:24.340 Listen up.
00:46:25.140 I'm looking for collaborators in a new and exciting initiative.
00:46:28.760 As you most likely know, YouTube a long time ago demonetized Rebel News, and we are 100% viewer funded.
00:46:36.580 Now, while our supporters are fantastic at helping us cover legal campaigns and special reporting missions, unfortunately, the reality is our day-to-day operational expenses often exceed our income stream.
00:46:49.500 Which is crazy if you think about it, because my videos across all platforms attract hundreds of thousands of views, and sometimes even millions.
00:46:56.720 So I want to share that reach with the right partners.
00:47:01.520 If you have a product or business and want to enter a win-win relationship with me, please go to rebelnews.com forward slash ads and fill in the form to let me know.
00:47:13.240 I won't be accepting anyone.
00:47:14.940 I need to believe in your business or product so I can sell it proudly for you.
00:47:20.080 And for successful applicants, I will guarantee a minimum view count.
00:47:25.340 Meaning, even if your ad is published on the less popular reports, we'll keep promoting your business or product until it gets the agreed minimum eyeballs.
00:47:34.720 So again, if you have a cool company or product that either wants to take advantage of my reach, or want to support my work through advertising in a way that you can write it off as a tax deduction, or both.
00:47:50.080 Head over to rebelnews.com forward slash ads, and hopefully we can join forces soon.
00:48:01.760 Come on, you gotta love Avi.
00:48:04.360 I mean, he is our wonder down under.
00:48:06.940 And you know what?
00:48:08.480 Given the rules as applied by Blackface, we are indeed in the fight of our lives, aren't we, Tamara Ugolini?
00:48:17.060 The state wants to censor us.
00:48:20.540 And, you know, classical liberalism is dead.
00:48:24.340 In fact, if you're a classical liberal in 2023, I think you're a conservative, aren't you?
00:48:29.140 Right.
00:48:29.540 Yeah.
00:48:29.900 It seems like the two have kind of enmeshed throughout the pandemic and the way that public health measures were handled.
00:48:35.700 Oh, yeah.
00:48:36.180 That was a dress rehearsal, the more and more I think of it.
00:48:39.080 And I think, you know, politicians of every political affiliation, whether it was municipal, provincial, or federal, I think they were astounded by the compliance.
00:48:53.400 Yeah.
00:48:53.560 They said, look, we told them to shut down their businesses.
00:48:55.860 They shut them down.
00:48:56.980 We told them to wear a mask.
00:48:58.340 They're wearing masks.
00:48:59.680 We told them the social this.
00:49:00.980 They're doing everything.
00:49:02.780 And you know what?
00:49:05.840 I think power is an aphrodisiac.
00:49:09.080 Yes.
00:49:09.340 And they got a taste of totalitarian power.
00:49:11.960 And as our beloved boss, Ezra Levant, says, they really like that taste.
00:49:17.060 Big time.
00:49:18.420 And what do they say?
00:49:19.120 To absolute power corrupts absolutely.
00:49:22.160 You got it.
00:49:23.180 You know.
00:49:23.680 So, yeah.
00:49:24.620 The COVID-19 pandemic was part and parcel of the censorship virus we're seeing around the world right now, too.
00:49:32.500 It's all about power.
00:49:34.220 So, oh, speaking of censorship, maybe, what are your thoughts on the great Tucker Carlson?
00:49:41.560 I love Tucker.
00:49:42.440 Love Tucker Carlson tonight.
00:49:44.940 The only person that made Fox News what it is?
00:49:48.640 You know, there's some other.
00:49:49.480 I mean, I do like Sean Hannity, of course.
00:49:51.660 But, you know, Tucker was the star.
00:49:53.920 Not just of Fox News, but of all cable news.
00:49:56.940 We're talking an average audience of more than 3.3 million.
00:50:01.440 And he was their star.
00:50:03.300 He would think of the Oilers in the 1980s.
00:50:06.440 He was Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, and Grant Fuhrer combined, I would argue.
00:50:11.600 And, you know, the statement was a mutual parting.
00:50:14.560 But we know there's something more to this story.
00:50:17.020 There's so many theories and speculation out there.
00:50:20.200 Where do you weigh in, Tamara?
00:50:21.200 Well, it's interesting to note that his last monologue had to do with the way that Big Pharma has really captured media and government and, I would argue, the whole of society.
00:50:35.040 I mean, Big Pharma has its hands in almost every cookie jar.
00:50:38.060 And they are a conglomerate of financial lobbying with huge financial lobbying capabilities.
00:50:45.720 And so I think we have an excerpt here from Tucker's very last monologue where he touched on the relationships between news organizations and how heavily they are funded by Big Pharma advertisers.
00:50:59.140 So that's a really interesting thing to note here.
00:51:02.280 Yes.
00:51:03.480 Sometimes you wonder just how filthy and dishonest our news media are.
00:51:08.220 They'll be in the shower and you'll think, they're bad.
00:51:09.920 But how bad are they?
00:51:11.920 Well, here's one measure of their badness.
00:51:13.780 You can try this at home.
00:51:14.540 Ask yourself, is any news organization you know of so corrupt that it's willing to hurt you on behalf of its biggest advertisers?
00:51:22.480 Anyone who'd do that is obviously Pablo Escobar-level corrupt and should not be trusted.
00:51:29.040 Sometimes you wonder just how filthy and dishonest.
00:51:33.180 There you have it.
00:51:34.260 Yeah.
00:51:35.060 And yes, on cable news networks and other cable specialty channels, it's endless pharmaceutical ads.
00:51:42.520 I mean, I always get a kick, Tamara, because at the end, the last 15 seconds are all the potential side effects.
00:51:48.260 It sounds worse than what you've got, actually.
00:51:50.440 It's like the auctioneer.
00:51:53.000 Oh, yeah.
00:51:53.320 It just lists through them so quickly that you're not even sure what you're listening to.
00:51:57.360 Yeah.
00:51:57.800 The one I'll never forget is anal bleeding.
00:52:00.680 What?
00:52:02.020 Well, and then you can take another medication to counteract the adverse effects of the other medication.
00:52:07.720 So if you have anal bleeding, well, there's a medicine for that.
00:52:09.660 And, you know, I welcome our audience to Google the phrase brought to you by Pfizer.
00:52:15.680 Yes.
00:52:15.960 And it's about a five and a half minute long YouTube video of that phrase said over and over and over again by virtually every single show on every single network.
00:52:30.520 You won't believe it.
00:52:31.660 And, you know, Pfizer, they've got the big bucks.
00:52:35.300 They were one of the vaccine makers.
00:52:36.920 I mean, you know, you think they'd be content with all the money they're making from that great product, Viagra.
00:52:43.800 That's what a friend of mine actually said.
00:52:46.340 Not you.
00:52:47.120 Yeah.
00:52:47.220 No, no.
00:52:47.800 Of course not.
00:52:48.820 A friend.
00:52:50.600 Asking for a friend.
00:52:51.720 Yeah.
00:52:52.160 A friend.
00:52:52.980 Yeah.
00:52:53.340 Don't ask me how I know this, folks, but it's a great product.
00:52:56.520 But no, but seriously.
00:52:57.260 All of them brought to you by Pfizer, brought to you by Pfizer, brought to you by Pfizer.
00:53:01.460 And so when Tucker pointed that out, oddly enough, followed suit.
00:53:06.340 He was let go from, or reached a mutual consensus to part ways with Fox News.
00:53:13.320 And you know what?
00:53:14.040 I wonder, I think what we're seeing personally, Tamara, is this is the Bud Light moment for Fox News.
00:53:21.720 Yeah, maybe you thought he was biting the hand that feeds, but he, Tucker Carlson, that is, is your cash cow.
00:53:29.980 He is your star.
00:53:31.100 He's the one bringing in all those ratings.
00:53:33.180 I mean, as soon as Tucker goes on, the ratings just spike.
00:53:36.100 And the idea of getting rid of him, and I mean, who could replace Tucker?
00:53:42.760 It is like Anheuser-Busch going ahead with a transvestite, being the spokesperson for Bud Light, and then the VP of marketing, who's now on leave.
00:53:55.120 Maybe she's never coming back.
00:53:56.380 And denouncing the core base of Bud Light, you know, those frat boys.
00:54:01.460 Oh, yeah.
00:54:02.080 Like, let's throw rocks at the consumer group that is leaving the liquor store with cases of Bud Light under their arms and try to attract the transgender demographic, which is a scintilla of a percent and probably isn't interested in Bud Light.
00:54:17.620 Wow, what a brilliant marketing strategy.
00:54:19.720 And likewise, I'm wondering if Fox News already has a buyer's remorse because their stock went down by almost 600 million U.S., I understand, since yesterday.
00:54:30.960 Well, and the Marxists are only rejoicing.
00:54:33.260 Oh.
00:54:33.780 So we have a clip here of AOC celebrating the exit of Tucker Carlson, Alexandria, and I hope I'm pronouncing her last name correctly, Acasio-Cortiz.
00:54:46.140 No, just call her by AOC.
00:54:47.720 Ah! Ah! Sounds like I'm about to spit, doesn't it?
00:54:50.940 Oh, I don't even want to play this clip, but nonetheless, here we are.
00:54:54.880 Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News.
00:54:59.460 Couldn't have happened to a better guy.
00:55:01.400 What I will say, though, is while I'm very glad that the person that is arguably responsible for some of the largest, driving some of the most amounts of death threats and violent threats, not just to my office, but to plenty of people across the country,
00:55:23.440 I also kind of feel like I'm waiting for the cutscene at the end of a Marvel movie after all the credits have rolled.
00:55:32.480 And then you see, like, the villain's, like, hand reemerge out to grip over, like, the end of a building or something.
00:55:41.840 But deplatforming works, and it is important, and there you go.
00:55:50.840 Good things can happen.
00:55:52.440 Tucker Carlson.
00:55:53.060 Yeah, so here's the thing, Tamara.
00:55:55.660 They, that is to say, the left, they're not even hiding it anymore.
00:55:59.380 They're pro-censorship.
00:56:01.100 They are pro-deplatforming.
00:56:03.360 They brag about it.
00:56:04.960 These are the same people, by the way, when it comes to a real crime, like a murderer or a rapist, they'll get early parole, will drop bail.
00:56:12.780 But if you commit a thought crime today, that is a life sentence without parole, without rehabilitation, without a second chance.
00:56:24.720 Like, these aren't classical liberals anymore.
00:56:27.300 These are Marxists.
00:56:28.440 These are about people tearing down society and building it back up as a Marxist utopia, which never happens.
00:56:36.060 Just visit North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, if you want the proof in the pudding.
00:56:40.720 That's right.
00:56:41.400 Yeah, I guess we'll see who replaces Tucker and how that will end up for the Marxists and what kind of other criticisms and critiques they will face, which they then transpire and try to claim that that equates violence and threats.
00:56:57.160 I wonder, you know, just how accurate that is, that she's received death threats and it's a direct causation, was things that Tucker Carlson had said.
00:57:06.400 That seems pretty reaching to me.
00:57:07.960 Yeah, what an outrageous comment.
00:57:09.560 The other thing, too, that's emerged, I've been doing as much reading as possible on this issue, Tamara, is you recall that Tucker Carlson acquired thousands of hours of footage about what happened on January 6th, 2021.
00:57:23.660 And he promoted it heavily starting on Monday.
00:57:29.040 We're going to go through so much of this footage, which is so incriminating against the government, really, the Biden administration in terms of what really happened that day.
00:57:40.620 The first Monday, the first Monday had a lot of footage, then the next day, Tuesday, just a bit.
00:57:47.220 And it was, I think, I mean, what I'm reading between the lines, the Murdoch family got nervous, you know, especially with all the outrage.
00:57:56.220 You know, and that wasn't that rich, the lamestream media, the mainstream media, they had no problems not seeing the footage.
00:58:05.980 Yeah, we believe everything the Biden administration is telling us.
00:58:09.680 And then when Tucker got the footage exclusively, they lost it.
00:58:13.920 And it seems that, and I'm putting myself in Tucker's shoes, this is an exclusive, this is a scoop, this is so important in terms of tearing down the narrative of the insurrection.
00:58:28.960 And then perhaps being told by his managers that, no, it's too hot to handle, we're going to reel this back in.
00:58:41.000 And I would be furious, you know, and the story of the century, really, it is, you know, I'll be at the centuries young.
00:58:48.420 But I mean, there's still people rotting in jail that haven't even been charged yet as part of that outrageous.
00:58:54.540 I mean, I'm looking at some of the footage.
00:58:57.680 I mean, the guy with the horns, when I first saw that, I thought that was an image from Comic-Con.
00:59:02.560 I thought the guy was going as Loki or something.
00:59:05.340 They're just passively strolling around, checking out the scene.
00:59:09.040 And being welcomed in.
00:59:10.100 Yeah, and you know, if it really was an insurrection, wouldn't you want to, oh, I don't know, Tamara, call me outrageous, but, you know, bring weapons?
00:59:20.120 Because really, to do a revolution, you really need that part to seal the deal.
00:59:25.860 But there was no weapons here, so absolutely.
00:59:29.560 So it's another theory, but Tucker might be gone, but it's temporary.
00:59:35.280 I can see him starting his own networking, you know, surrounding himself with some other key talent.
00:59:42.660 And he'll be back, I hope, bigger than ever.
00:59:46.280 In fact, I'm predicting that'll be the case.
00:59:48.780 Yeah, I think so, too.
00:59:49.240 And ClearFox News, like I said, that's your Bud Light moment, guys.
00:59:53.160 Well, we have one final super chat to get through from Ableist SL.
00:59:56.800 By new site, I think maybe that's locals.com that Ableist SL might be referring to.
01:00:16.000 But it's definitely something to consider, and we'll keep in mind.
01:00:19.840 I don't have that answer myself, but I'm sure that we could find that.
01:00:25.640 And we're looking into it, yeah.
01:00:27.300 Well, if you're expecting some kind of technical answer from me, I mean, that's like bringing your Ferrari to a caveman and asking for a realignment.
01:00:35.060 I mean, I have no idea.
01:00:36.280 But it's a good point.
01:00:36.900 If Tamara doesn't know about this, I am completely clueless.
01:00:41.680 Well, it's just getting access to that content from 2015 to 2018.
01:00:46.360 So that's kind of lost in the ether.
01:00:48.680 And so how can we bring it back and make it easy to obtain again?
01:00:51.480 So thanks for bringing that to our attention.
01:00:53.380 It's something we will look into.
01:00:55.540 Is this something we need, the expressed, authorized consent from Major League Baseball?
01:01:00.600 I always hear that slogan.
01:01:02.320 I have no idea what that means anyways.
01:01:04.060 Anyways, folks, before you sign off, we have another ad.
01:01:09.340 It's an important one, especially if you're a young, aspiring journalist out there.
01:01:13.880 So we're just going to sign off.
01:01:15.620 We're going to play that ad, and please give it a look-see.
01:01:19.220 I want to thank super producers Efren and Olivia.
01:01:23.120 I want to thank all of you who tuned in, especially those who gave us some do-re-mi.
01:01:28.260 That's how we keep the lights on here.
01:01:30.620 And, of course, my beloved co-host, Tamara Ugolini.
01:01:34.040 It is so wonderful when you come in in person, you know.
01:01:38.160 It's nice to be here.
01:01:38.980 Lives, you know, reunited, and it feels so good, I think the song was.
01:01:43.180 I better shut up before I get into trouble.
01:01:45.460 So, folks, I'll be back here tomorrow.
01:01:47.600 I believe it's either with Sheila Gunn-Reed or Drea Humphrey.
01:01:51.460 In the meantime, stay safe and stay sane.
01:01:55.640 Too many journalists are really just advocates for woke ideology.
01:02:00.220 They don't report the facts, and they simply don't care about our fundamental freedoms.
01:02:05.020 Well, we're doing something about that.
01:02:07.580 What happens when the journalists themselves are really not paid for by the government?
01:02:12.820 Can they possibly criticize the government freely?
01:02:16.020 A lot of
01:02:37.840 I think that that is the key is to push it back
01:02:39.840 and hold it up and watch.
01:02:40.900 Everyone kind of wants to be a YouTuber
01:02:43.560 or a media star these days or whatever.
01:02:46.080 And people always ask me, you know,
01:02:47.600 well, how do you do it?
01:02:48.660 What do you do?
01:02:49.500 What's the secret?
01:02:50.340 All that stuff.
01:02:51.180 No matter what type of journalism you're doing,
01:02:53.080 whether you're doing the advocacy journalism
01:02:55.180 that Robbie does,
01:02:56.060 whether you're doing the investigative reporting
01:02:58.180 that Sheila does,
01:02:59.520 some of the gonzo journalism that David Mendes does,
01:03:02.100 or whether you're working in fiction, like CBC,
01:03:04.820 no matter what you are telling the story.
01:03:11.240 Great.
01:03:12.080 It's very informative.
01:03:13.240 I learned a lot of stuff.
01:03:14.120 I took so many notes,
01:03:15.660 but it's definitely good to be here.
01:03:18.460 I'm really appreciating the diversity of the speakers.
01:03:21.080 They all contribute really specific details
01:03:23.720 on what to do as an inspiring journalist.
01:03:25.720 It's been absolutely mind-blowing from start to finish.
01:03:29.740 Firstly, beautiful hall.
01:03:31.580 We've been stuffed.
01:03:33.320 It's like Thanksgiving dinner every night.
01:03:35.240 So that's amazing.
01:03:36.500 But the only thing that beats that are the people,
01:03:39.160 the people around us, the company,
01:03:41.120 some amazing and unique individuals.
01:03:43.080 The journalism conference has been great.
01:03:45.160 I met many prominent figures in this field,
01:03:47.200 and I got great advice.
01:03:48.540 It was a really good conference,
01:03:50.800 very good to meet all the lovely people here
01:03:54.840 to get some inspiration and some experience.
