00:00:00.000 Oh, hi, everybody.
00:00:15.940 This is the Rebel Daily News live stream.
00:00:18.800 I'm your host, Sheila Gunn-Reed.
00:00:20.600 I'm just getting straightened into the frame.
00:00:23.540 And my co-host today is the lovely Alexa Lavoie.
00:00:27.920 I love talking to Alexa.
00:00:29.320 I don't get to talk to her all that much face-to-face.
00:00:32.120 We talk probably once or twice a day, though, over the phone.
00:00:35.940 But it's fun to be able to talk to each other and talk about the news of the day.
00:00:39.820 Alexa, how's it going?
00:00:50.280 AD, I'm sure Alexa had something super fun to say, but I don't.
00:00:55.280 There we go.
00:00:56.280 I thought you were able to read in my mind.
00:01:00.600 I was like, we are so close that she can actually say what I'm just saying.
00:01:05.840 I said, I'm really good.
00:01:07.340 I'm really happy to host with you today, Sheila, because it's always nice to host with you.
00:01:12.520 Yeah, it's going to be great.
00:01:13.640 We've got a very fun-filled show today.
00:01:16.160 It's packed with stuff.
00:01:17.380 We're talking about the truck convoy and some other things.
00:01:20.120 We're going to talk a little bit about Russia, but I should tell everybody what we're doing
00:01:24.260 and why there will come a time that we won't be broadcasting on YouTube for the rest of the show
00:01:30.340 and to tell people how they can support the work that we do.
00:01:34.060 So as I said, this is the Rebel News Daily Livestream.
00:01:37.020 It used to just be hosted on Friday just by Ezra Levant.
00:01:39.480 I know some people get annoyed because I do this little spiel every time that I do the show,
00:01:43.940 but we do get new viewers all the time, and so we do need to tell them what exactly that we're doing.
00:01:49.480 So the pandemic struck, and there's still more news than ever to talk about,
00:01:55.020 but the mainstream media wasn't covering it,
00:01:56.780 and the restrictions are changing day by day in different jurisdictions,
00:01:59.580 and things are moving so fast that sometimes it's not always best addressed in a fully produced video.
00:02:04.240 Sometimes a live stream is the best way to do it.
00:02:06.060 And people used to be able to support the work that we do on YouTube by doing something called a super chat.
00:02:12.860 But then Biden got elected, big tech didn't have to pretend anymore,
00:02:15.800 and they completely demonetized us along with several other conservative platforms.
00:02:21.020 So to deal with that, we still broadcast on YouTube,
00:02:26.000 sort of kind of because they don't want us there, and that's how you get more of us.
00:02:29.400 But also, we don't want to abandon the nearly 1.6 million YouTube subscribers that we do have.
00:02:36.700 There are some of you who hate ClickUs, and that's fine too,
00:02:39.840 and there are some of you who just enjoy watching us over on YouTube.
00:02:42.260 So we're not abandoning you.
00:02:43.780 We are simultaneously broadcasting on SuperU, Rumble, and Odyssey,
00:02:48.460 and those are three platforms that describe themselves as politically neutral.
00:02:52.860 They don't care about their politics, and I don't know about their politics,
00:02:55.480 and I think that's how it should best be.
00:02:58.820 You shouldn't have big tech policing the politics of its users.
00:03:02.800 So we are broadcasting over there.
00:03:04.560 On those platforms, there are different ways that you can support the work that we do.
00:03:07.860 Rumble, Rants, Odyssey, HyperChats, and SuperU Shouts.
00:03:12.160 So you can do that.
00:03:12.940 If you send us one of those, Mr. Producer AD will send it to me in a message,
00:03:16.740 and we'll read it on air.
00:03:18.240 And Alexa and myself will do our very best to address your question, comment, concern, story, idea, topic on air.
00:03:25.760 And there will also come a time during the show today that we will no longer be able to continue on YouTube
00:03:31.880 because there are certain things on YouTube overlords.
00:03:36.560 They've decided that there are certain things that we can't talk to you about on YouTube,
00:03:40.120 even if they're factually true and even if you're hearing about them on mainstream media sources.
00:03:44.160 Because we're conservative, there are certain things that we can't talk about.
00:03:47.880 It'll risk shutting down our channel altogether.
00:03:51.440 So to protect our channel, we will say goodbye to YouTube at some point during the show
00:03:56.680 and invite our YouTube viewers to join us on those other platforms.
00:04:00.800 And I think that is all the nuts and bolts of today, unless I forgot something.
00:04:06.800 But I'm pretty sure I got them all.
00:04:08.700 I think I will let you brief before we start to chat.
00:04:14.160 I know, right?
00:04:15.000 Just like, yeah.
00:04:17.640 I've done it so many times that I know it off by heart.
00:04:21.840 And I try to shorten it every time I do it, but I never really get it shorter.
00:04:25.800 I just end up talking faster, which I guess makes it shorter for the listener.
00:04:31.620 Imagine if it was me, it would be like two times more longer.
00:04:36.440 Well, anyway, as I say, we do have new viewers joining us every day.
00:04:41.040 So for our regular viewers who are sick of hearing me say that, I'm sorry, when I start
00:04:46.060 talking, go get a coffee, come back, and I'll be here when you get back.
00:04:50.600 Now, we should talk about one of the major geopolitical things that's happening in the
00:04:55.420 world right now.
00:04:57.200 And we'll talk about that right now because it's YouTube safe.
00:04:59.460 And that is Biden talking about sending troops in to Eastern Europe to deal with Russia mobilizing
00:05:11.280 its troops for a potential invasion of the Ukraine or of Ukraine.
00:05:15.640 Sorry, I shouldn't say the Ukraine.
00:05:17.040 I should know better than that.
00:05:18.300 I'm from like Canada's Ukraine.
00:05:20.240 So I shouldn't I shouldn't say that.
00:05:21.440 But this is this is something that you would never have seen under President Donald Trump.
00:05:29.520 We see China acting up.
00:05:31.820 We see Putin acting up.
00:05:34.280 Iran feels emboldened.
00:05:36.820 The world is a much less safe place now with President Biden in charge.
00:05:42.540 But I have the impression that, first of all, I don't really know why I don't feel like he
00:05:52.820 needs to send troops, why we are all the country to try to, I don't know, go into some fight
00:06:02.780 that is not our fight.
00:06:04.500 But I can understand that some people want to join the fight.
00:06:08.120 Um, I, what I understand most of it is because of NATO, um, the Russia tried to stop them to
00:06:17.260 go to the, uh, North.
00:06:19.380 And, uh, so that is a really politically big deal at the moment.
00:06:25.180 Um, I think it have been accepted so far, but what I was reading, um, this morning, uh,
00:06:33.400 what the Moscow asked for, um, their new, uh, demand have been refused so far.
00:06:40.820 I don't know if you heard a little bit about, uh, what was the specific demand from Moscow,
00:06:46.080 but I don't know so far for that.
00:06:51.060 Um, I've got a whole completely different angle on this.
00:06:55.280 Um, there's a key player in the region that claims to be an American ally,
00:07:00.880 claims to be a key player in NATO, and yet they are truly the ones propping up the Russian regime.
00:07:09.240 And a lot of this has to do with green energy, in fact.
00:07:12.920 And this is why I think green energy is so sinister and it is a tool of some of the most
00:07:18.180 sinister regimes in the world, China being one of them.
00:07:21.280 Um, they use, um, you know, they use sort of their exceptionality in the Paris agreement
00:07:28.280 to, uh, develop their industries while we can't, um, Germany has decided to abandon nuclear
00:07:35.360 energy, which is clean, um, no greenhouse gas emissions.
00:07:39.140 If you care about those sorts of things, they're also moving away from coal or so they
00:07:43.220 say, which makes Germany increasingly reliant on Russia.
00:07:47.760 In fact, Germany is the number one consumer of America or of Russian natural gas.
00:07:54.780 Gazprom is the company.
00:07:57.300 And, um, the Nord Stream 2 pipeline was just allowed to go ahead.
00:08:01.980 Now we can't get a pipeline from Alberta to the United States.
00:08:07.740 Biden canceled that, but we can get a pipeline built that will help continue to prop up the
00:08:14.840 Russian regime by getting them access to German consumers and Germany, whether we like it or
00:08:22.020 not, they're playing a role can in, uh, jeopardizing the future of a free Ukraine right now, Germany
00:08:30.500 two days ago, they have blocked Estonia.
00:08:35.480 So a former Soviet bloc country from transferring German made weapons to Ukraine.
00:08:42.920 So they are making sure that Ukraine is not able to defend itself from Russia.
00:08:50.100 That's in the wall street journal two days ago.
00:08:53.180 And Germany is helping fuel the Russian war machine through its constant propping up of
00:09:00.540 Gazprom by being a major consumer.
00:09:02.420 There's something the Americans could do here that would limit, um, Russian influence by
00:09:10.460 teaching Germany a lesson about where Germany should be standing on this issue.
00:09:14.700 And that is that the Americans have 35 and a half thousand troops stationed in Germany, pull
00:09:25.000 every single one of them out.
00:09:26.420 Germany should not be entitled to the economic activity that 35 and a half thousand Americans
00:09:34.140 stationed there and living there provide to that country.
00:09:38.600 Poland, I think two years ago, they offered to president Trump and they sort of saw all this
00:09:44.560 disaster coming with Russia as Poland tends to do.
00:09:49.360 Uh, they offered president Trump to relocate those troops to Poland where the cost of living is much
00:09:55.920 more, uh, inviting for, uh, someone living on an American salary.
00:10:00.460 And that would have been a major economic sanction against Germany and a very big symbolic move against
00:10:07.520 Germany, inspiring them to cut their close ties with Russia.
00:10:11.560 It didn't happen.
00:10:13.060 And now here we are, but I think sanctioning Russia, I'm not sure that's going to work.
00:10:18.220 We need to sanction the friends and allies of Russia and call them out because Germany is
00:10:23.360 playing both sides of the fence here.
00:10:26.360 Well, I should have like read a little bit more.
00:10:32.360 I can see that you are really more informed than me.
00:10:37.120 Uh, since when you started to look at, uh, this conflict, it's been a while.
00:10:43.000 Yeah, quite a while.
00:10:44.140 And I'm always, it goes back to my interest in green energy and foreign meddling in the Canadian
00:10:50.620 economy.
00:10:51.700 And so some of the anti-fracking sentiment, um, I'll just go back a little, uh, the decline
00:10:59.060 of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States under president Trump was directly fueled by
00:11:05.220 the natural gas fracking boom there.
00:11:07.600 Because natural gas is far less greenhouse gas intensive.
00:11:12.080 If you care about those sorts of things, I'm not sure that I do.
00:11:15.160 Um, but that's what fueled the decline in those emissions.
00:11:18.740 But Russia realized that if the Western world becomes, um, you know, the Saudi Arabia of natural
00:11:27.120 gas, and we really are, um, that it would threaten their stranglehold on much of Europe as a major
00:11:34.420 gas producer, especially as you could, um, you could condense natural gas into a liquid and put
00:11:43.500 it in tanker ships and transport it across the ocean safely.
00:11:46.940 LNG it's called.
00:11:47.740 So, um, Russia started to get, uh, worried about that and what they did was, and this came out in a
00:11:55.740 United Nations, um, report that they started funding American environmentalist groups as part of a
00:12:06.800 demarketing campaign against fracking and against the natural gas boom in the Western world.
00:12:15.320 And they started playing a role in blocking pipelines and blocking energy independence because
00:12:19.860 Russia knew if North American LNG could get to Europe, all of a sudden they're not so powerful.
00:12:27.900 And for Russia, I think using their economic influence as a major energy supplier is their way
00:12:37.960 to reform the old Soviet union to become the power player in the region and regain their position as
00:12:45.240 a, as like a superpower in the world.
00:12:48.460 And so that's where my interest in all of this comes from.
00:12:52.160 And it sort of flows from there.
00:12:54.240 Yeah.
00:12:54.980 See, this is Germany's reliance on Russian gas limits Europe's options in the Ukraine crisis.
00:13:00.380 And so this is why energy independence is so important because it does not fuel these radical
00:13:08.440 dictatorships who are going to take over the world.
00:13:10.580 Yeah.
00:13:11.980 Yeah.
00:13:12.300 But when we look at, um, Russia and China is all now together and now they are invited
00:13:18.680 like most and most country right now.
00:13:21.160 Um, when we look at the art, um, China is already into all, uh, Africa and now they are trying
00:13:29.800 to get all the, uh, natural, uh, natural energy that the heart have, uh, when they will have
00:13:36.640 all the energy from every country, it will be the most powerful, uh, like the Asian country
00:13:46.240 together.
00:13:47.180 Yeah.
00:13:47.600 Like Russia and China, they are getting like all over the place.
00:13:51.400 That's really scary.
00:13:52.900 That's what I'm really concerned about.
00:13:54.980 Yeah.
00:13:55.860 Yeah.
00:13:56.460 And China's got an extreme interest in Africa because it needs access to rare earth mineral
00:14:02.720 mines.
00:14:03.880 And so that goes back again to the push for green energy.
00:14:08.520 So you need the Western world to adopt this idea that everybody should be, uh, with an electric
00:14:16.540 car, right?
00:14:17.520 Abandon your reliable gas powered car.
00:14:20.620 That'll get you through the snow.
00:14:21.920 Forget about that.
00:14:22.700 When it's 40 below it, it starts and it gets you where you need to go, but there's this
00:14:28.920 push to get everybody on electric cars.
00:14:30.740 And who does that help China because they own all the rare earth mineral mines, particularly
00:14:36.900 in Africa.
00:14:38.360 And those takeovers of those mines are quite easy.
00:14:40.840 It's happening without any resistance.
00:14:43.200 And, uh, for a bunch of people in the Western world who so often decry the idea of colonialism,
00:14:47.820 they're sitting on their hands while China takes over Africa.
00:14:50.860 And I, I'm, I was there, I did like more than 20 country in Africa.
00:14:57.240 And I can say that if, uh, you are deep into, uh, some land, you can take for like less than
00:15:06.420 20 kilometer.
00:15:07.560 You can take a whole day.
00:15:09.380 And when you pass through the road that is, uh, built by the Chinese quickly, you can pass
00:15:16.320 through the country really fast, but you can see it's all Chinese contractor everywhere.
00:15:22.760 And you can see everywhere like that.
00:15:25.200 It is China to Morocco to, um, I was in, um, uh, democratic, uh, Congo democratic Republic.
00:15:37.280 It was just all Chinese road.
00:15:40.860 I believe it.
00:15:41.900 I believe it.
00:15:42.420 And we're just going to let them do it.
00:15:43.880 Apparently.
00:15:44.720 Um, yeah, that's, that's pretty much it.
00:15:47.640 Um, we should, since we're talking about China, we have this really weird video from Bill Gates.
00:15:57.120 And every time I think these people are a bunch of lizards walking around in skin suits.
00:16:00.840 And then I think, no, Sheila, that you're being just a con judgmental conspiracy theorist.
00:16:05.820 Then they act like lizards.
00:16:08.460 So why don't we talk about Bill Gates?
00:16:10.960 Why don't we roll that video?
00:16:11.820 I want to wish everyone in China a very happy lunar new year, just as the tiger symbolizes
00:16:21.680 vitality and health.
00:16:23.860 Our foundation has continued to work over this past year.
00:16:28.740 The recent troubling and highly contagious Omicron variant means the COVID-19 pandemic
00:16:34.960 is not yet over.
00:16:36.360 Since the onset of the pandemic, China has worked hard to not only contain the virus,
00:16:43.520 but also contributed to closing the equity gap by supporting other countries with many
00:16:49.440 different supplies, including great vaccines.
00:16:52.900 I'm hopeful that by the end of this new year, the COVID pandemic will largely be over.
00:17:00.000 I was also thrilled to hear the news that in June, that the WHO had recognized China's remarkable
00:17:07.460 success in defeating malaria, declaring the country officially free from the disease.
00:17:14.100 So like many of you, I believe the world can become better.
00:17:18.440 And I know that innovation and collaboration are key to getting there.
00:17:23.280 I look forward to once again, being able to travel to China to see all of you and this
00:17:29.540 work in person.
00:17:31.220 But for now, have a wonderful holiday and a very healthy and happy new year.
00:17:38.700 Alexi, your face says it all.
00:17:40.300 Go ahead.
00:17:42.340 Is it not?
00:17:43.560 I don't know.
00:17:44.540 Is it not two-faced to do that when we know that USA is blaming China to have spread the
00:17:53.900 first COVID-19 and now they are doing this nice holiday or thank you for your help.
00:18:02.680 Thank you for what you're doing.
00:18:04.160 But in another way, oh, bullshit for, sorry for that, but yeah, you are the cause of everything.
00:18:12.080 But in the same time, oh, happy new year and thank you for your help, for whatever you
00:18:16.700 did and what you bring to us.
00:18:21.080 That doesn't make sense.
00:18:22.640 It feels a little bit like an ISIS proof of life video, you know, like where there's a
00:18:27.640 guy standing over top of you with a gun or a knife ready to cut your head off unless you
00:18:32.180 read this script.
00:18:33.700 You would find less glowing things in that than what I saw there.
00:18:39.080 I was writing notes, but I don't know how much I can say on YouTube.
00:18:42.080 Yeah, exactly.
00:18:43.400 When he's talking about how much China has contributed to the fight against COVID-19 by
00:18:49.560 sending supplies out, that's not quite how it worked for Canada.
00:18:55.420 Justin Trudeau rounded up all of our PPE, our medical PPE, sent it to China.
00:19:00.600 Then when China was supposed to return the favor, we sent two airplanes over there to pick
00:19:05.660 it up.
00:19:06.120 And they sat on the tarmac and came home empty because China never delivered our supplies
00:19:11.920 back to us.
00:19:12.740 They had people going around the world rounding up PPE for themselves.
00:19:18.560 And then what that left was the Western world flat footed when the pandemic came to their
00:19:23.460 doorstep.
00:19:24.240 But thanks, China.
00:19:25.240 Yeah.
00:19:25.680 Thanks for everything.
00:19:27.600 Because Canadian doesn't remember that our supply that we had before we sent it over because
00:19:34.900 we were like, we have too much.
00:19:36.420 We don't need it at the moment because nothing is happening.
00:19:39.840 So we took every supply that we had, sending to them.
00:19:46.300 And now it's like, oh my God, something happened.
00:19:48.840 We need, and we received this.
00:19:51.440 And it was really good supply that we had.
00:19:54.300 Like we talk about really surgical masks and really nice supply.
00:19:59.800 And we received in exchange some blue square masks.
00:20:03.840 Yeah, remember the videos too of those being made?
00:20:09.060 Have you ever seen the videos of those being made in a Chinese factory?
00:20:12.300 Yeah.
00:20:12.520 They're just like laying on the floor.
00:20:15.120 Yeah.
00:20:15.760 People on their shoes.
00:20:17.920 Yeah.
00:20:19.160 I saw that.
00:20:20.360 Yeah.
00:20:21.620 So I'm just wondering like, why, why doing this kind of message when we know that something
00:20:29.160 is going on?
00:20:30.440 I don't know.
00:20:31.220 We will probably never know, but it's too strange to do it like this kind of, oh, happy
00:20:38.300 early day.
00:20:38.940 Thank you.
00:20:39.960 And thanks for never return.
00:20:42.840 Probably what we.
00:20:44.820 Never.
00:20:45.540 Never.
00:20:46.480 Yeah.
00:20:47.040 Thank you.
00:20:47.520 Never.
00:20:47.720 And there's a lot of things that we can say that China did and didn't do during the pandemic,
00:20:53.820 but YouTube will nuke us.
00:20:55.320 And I want to talk about the truckers and their protest because that's still YouTube safe.
00:21:00.760 And so the people who are still with us on YouTube, we should talk about that.
00:21:04.160 So if you got all your news from the mainstream media, you would not realize that there was
00:21:11.060 a trucking convoy that started in British Columbia and it is going all the way across
00:21:15.240 the country to protest the vaccine mandate for truckers.
00:21:18.980 These are not, as the mainstream media will tell you, and one horrible Alberta senator named
00:21:24.940 Paula Simons will tell you, unvaccinated truckers.
00:21:28.140 That's not what these guys are protesting at all.
00:21:30.060 Guys and girls, I should say.
00:21:32.240 They are against the mandates for truckers.
00:21:35.920 They're against coercion and forced vaccinations and the nonsensicalness of it all.
00:21:40.380 So I know a thing or two about the trucking industry.
00:21:44.400 My husband works in oil field trucking, although he's not a truck driver anymore.
00:21:49.020 He mostly just sits in his nice pickup and talks on a radio.
00:21:52.900 But my father-in-law used to be a long haul trucker.
00:21:57.120 He's also in oil field trucking.
00:21:59.520 And a lot of the truckers never get out of their trucks when they're picking up their load.
00:22:03.860 So they just back in, swamper or somebody else hooks them up.
00:22:08.240 When they go deliver their load, it's decked off and that's it.
00:22:11.780 So these guys are in no contact with anybody else.
00:22:15.740 And for the most part, you're living out of your truck.
00:22:19.100 If you're a long haul trucker, you usually have a sleeper.
00:22:21.100 You sleep in the back of your truck cab.
00:22:24.100 So this is like their house.
00:22:25.660 This is like making you be vaccinated for your mobile home, like for your RV.
00:22:31.320 You know, it's so ridiculous.
00:22:35.080 But this is what Justin Trudeau has mandated for them.
00:22:37.900 And it's also the same going the other way.
00:22:39.900 So a lot of these Canadian truckers who are protesting in Canada are showing support for their American trucking friends who are in the same boat.
00:22:48.060 They can't come into Canada.
00:22:49.160 So they're sort of grounded and separated.
00:22:52.240 And so we had Drea Humphrey covering the truckers as they sort of went through the lower mainland.
00:22:57.440 Yes, very early yesterday morning, she said before church.
00:23:00.040 So that's early for Drea.
00:23:01.320 And we have some footage of that.
00:23:07.880 That makes me so happy.
00:23:14.560 A couple of years ago, we had a convoy of trucks roll out of Alberta all the way to Ottawa in support of Canadian pipelines.
00:23:22.560 And then there were sort of smaller convoys happening all across the prairies.
00:23:28.460 And so that like honking is music to my ears.
00:23:31.900 But last night I was in Edmonton and there were probably 2000 people there to greet the truckers and to give the ones that were leaving from the Edmonton area a send off.
00:23:44.860 And I will tell you, the mainstream media did show up.
00:23:48.080 They sent two camera crews that you can tell they're from the mainstream media because of their overly expensive cameras that don't do anything more than my cell phone.
00:23:56.380 And then they stand way back on the road wearing masks outside by themselves because they're the mainstream media.
00:24:04.720 Nobody wants to talk to them.
00:24:05.780 And so they stand out on the road by themselves and they did not set foot inside the rally to actually talk to a single person about why they were there.
00:24:17.560 They didn't bother to knock on a cab of a truck and talk to a trucker.
00:24:21.340 None of that stuff.
00:24:22.100 But you will read coverage in the mainstream media about why the mainstream media thinks these convoys are happening.
00:24:29.420 But it's all just their speculation because they never actually talked to a real person involved in it.
00:24:36.120 Yeah, but it's what they do, too, when they have a protest in the street.
00:24:39.880 They are staying like really far away, like if everybody have the peg.
00:24:45.460 But they are really scared of, I don't know, probably being harassed by them.
00:24:52.980 But at the same time, they are there for freedom.
00:24:55.440 They are there really peacefully.
00:24:58.220 So they probably should join and ask questions to them.
00:25:01.980 But I think the mainstream media doesn't want to show what they have to say because that can change a narrative for some viewer that they have.
00:25:12.540 So they prefer to stay away, take some shots, and afterwards they can create their own story because they don't have any telling health or material to show.
00:25:25.280 Yeah, that's exactly what happened with BC.
00:25:27.760 They had to change their story after the fact.
00:25:30.780 But initially they wrote, oh, they're protesting road conditions.
00:25:36.560 People are like, yeah, no, they're not.
00:25:38.760 So then they're like, oh, no, there was two separate groups of truckers, and these guys were protesting road conditions, and these guys were protesting vaccine mandates.
00:25:47.300 And I thought that's really interesting that you thought even if that second or if that first convoy even existed, it's interesting that that was the one that you chose to cover, by the way.
00:25:57.840 And on this article about the maintenance of the truck, you know, the lack of maintenance, I took the picture, I looked at the picture, and the third truck was wearing in the front of the truck.
00:26:12.400 You can see it if you zoom it.
00:26:14.620 It's a flag of Canada flip-flop.
00:26:18.620 So that doesn't mean, like, lack of maintenance.
00:26:22.660 That means that Canada is under bad occupation.
00:26:28.800 Yeah.
00:26:29.500 Yeah, it's a sign of distress.
00:26:30.440 And we need help.
00:26:32.000 Yeah, distress, and we need help.
00:26:36.080 AD, I don't know if you can go to my Twitter feed.
00:26:38.240 And we had just a video of maybe one-third of the people that converged on the truck stop west of Edmonton last night.
00:26:48.220 I had to climb a snowbank just so I can get footage of everything.
00:26:53.400 And it was, like, three times as much by the time the truckers finally got there because they were delayed DOT, so Department of Transportation, opened some scales and slowed them down.
00:27:07.600 So they had to go in through the weigh scales and have all their log books checked before they could go on.
00:27:12.180 But this is – you can see all the cars.
00:27:13.880 Those are people who've driven in to show support, all the truckers in the background.
00:27:17.960 And so this is, like, at 4.30.
00:27:22.120 Truckers didn't even show up until 7.30.
00:27:24.260 And this place was packed.
00:27:25.500 It was all down the roads.
00:27:27.020 Like, see that road there?
00:27:28.040 It was just full of people.
00:27:29.800 It was – people were carpooling in.
00:27:32.580 There was not anywhere, I think, within a kilometer where you could park later on, the parking lots across.
00:27:38.500 And this is a major truck stop.
00:27:39.780 So they have so much parking.
00:27:41.900 But it was just packed.
00:27:44.660 There's, like, 1,000 people on the other side there.
00:27:46.780 It was just insane.
00:27:48.640 People showed up with food for the truckers, soup.
00:27:52.840 A mom and her kids were bringing – they had cookies that they had brought for the truckers with a little note thanking them for taking the time to go all the way to Ottawa to defend the future of our country.
00:28:07.160 It was just – it was really heartwarming to see.
00:28:10.200 And nobody there really was, like – I mean, I'm sure there are.
00:28:13.960 There's always people like that in every crowd.
00:28:15.760 But there were not, like, rabid anti-vaxxers.
00:28:19.160 These were just people who were saying, no, we just don't believe in the coercion.
00:28:23.340 Whatever side of the argument you fall down on, it doesn't matter.
00:28:27.260 This is between you and your doctor, your family, whoever, not you and your government and a border guard.
00:28:33.960 Yeah.
00:28:34.660 It's a choice.
00:28:35.680 It's a choice to decide what you want to inject into your body.
00:28:42.100 That's it.
00:28:42.800 It's not the government should decide.
00:28:45.680 It's a doctor.
00:28:46.840 And you should decide with your doctor.
00:28:49.240 And especially, if you don't feel that you need it, don't take it.
00:28:55.500 Yeah.
00:28:56.320 Yeah.
00:28:57.940 Exactly.
00:28:58.360 Yeah, this is the letter.
00:28:59.440 This is the letter the lady was giving out to the truckers.
00:29:04.660 We'll have to zoom in.
00:29:05.720 I still have this note in my Jeep, by the way.
00:29:07.940 And I did eat the cookies because that was all I had for supper because I thought I would be out of there a little sooner.
00:29:13.600 But it says, thank you for standing up for all Canadians and the Canada we loved.
00:29:16.840 Thank you for standing up against division, segregation, and hate.
00:29:20.520 Thank you for standing up for the children of Canada.
00:29:22.620 We will inherit the consequences of what the grown-ups of our country let happen.
00:29:26.880 Thank you for standing up for our right to decide what happens to our body and us kids' right to play, participate, and just be kids.
00:29:33.680 Thank you for choosing to transport goods so we can have what we need.
00:29:38.300 Thank you for taking your time in your truck to bring Ottawa to a halt and bring our whole country to its knees.
00:29:46.840 It should not have to happen this way, but we are ever grateful that someone is standing up for our future.
00:29:51.820 Cookies make everything better.
00:29:53.520 Hope these cookies make your long ride better and that you get so much support along your journey.
00:29:58.660 Thank you from the kids of Canada.
00:30:00.660 And so this mom and her kids had baked hundreds of these cookies and they were going to the trucks and giving them out.
00:30:08.480 Some people are in their trucks, but some people are in their personal vehicles and they've joined the convoy too.
00:30:13.640 And this mom and her little kids were out there sending a message of support to them.
00:30:17.780 And those are the kind of people out there.
00:30:19.420 So when you see the mainstream media saying, oh, this is a bunch of sexist, white supremacists, whatever they use to discredit them.
00:30:26.220 And if they had taken a minute to wander into the crowd, they would have seen a lot of wholesome goodness like that.
00:30:33.180 And when I was there last night, it was like a family festival.
00:30:36.020 There were kids throwing snowballs.
00:30:38.440 These little kids had brought their little Power Wheels truck and they had put their like Go Truckers sign on the back and they were driving around their little electric truck.
00:30:46.500 It was super cute.
00:30:47.220 But that's what it was like.
00:30:48.680 It was just families just showing support for the people who literally keep the economy moving every day.
00:30:55.140 These guys have worked 21, 22 months without a vaccine.
00:30:58.720 If we didn't have them working at the beginning of the pandemic, we never would have gotten through it.
00:31:02.900 And now they're being thrown out like garbage, like our health care workers.
00:31:08.060 Yeah, I'm pretty excited because I will be in Ottawa when they will all arrive.
00:31:12.000 We talk about people getting from Stansted, St. Bernard de la Colle, where it's actually close to Roxanne Road.
00:31:22.360 We will have people from BC, people from all the provinces, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan.
00:31:33.120 And I'm really excited to see all of them all united and reunited in Ottawa.
00:31:41.260 Probably Ottawa will be jam, jam.
00:31:44.420 Because if we talk now, I've heard so far 60,000 trucks, but I think it will go to almost 150,000.
00:31:54.100 They want to occupy Ottawa until the decision of the federal flip.
00:32:00.720 We'll see if that will work.
00:32:03.120 That will be there.
00:32:04.440 And that happened at the same time on the 30 in Montreal, where the restaurant, some of them will reopen their restaurant as well.
00:32:15.280 So everything will happen in the same weekend.
00:32:17.380 I don't know.
00:32:18.780 Same like the truck driver was same thinking, thinking of after they are done with Ottawa,
00:32:25.840 they are planning some of them to move to Quebec because of the local government measure administration.
00:32:33.680 That is one of the worst.
00:32:35.300 And it's because everything starts in Quebec for all the decisions.
00:32:39.780 So they are planning probably to go there and say, hey, we are there too.
00:32:44.480 So you are not going too far too.
00:32:47.060 Like you will taste what we all just did for the federal one.
00:32:52.140 We are going for the provincial one.
00:32:53.820 Yeah, some of the truckers are saying some of them are saying they're staying until the mandates are lifted.
00:33:00.020 Some of them are going to have to come home and some of them are carrying on.
00:33:03.820 So it'd be interesting to see how that shakes out.
00:33:06.820 But I think to your point, this is the first real national movement against the mandates.
00:33:13.500 There have been, you know, restaurants that opened up in Alberta and there are have been churches that opened up in Alberta and gyms that opened up in BC and and freedom protests and curfew breakers in Quebec.
00:33:26.740 But this is the first time that it has been from all provinces, people joining together to fight the vaccine mandates for truckers.
00:33:38.340 But I mean, this is really as we were talking in the live stream meeting this morning, this is about the middle class getting squeezed out.
00:33:48.640 And so the power is concentrating at the elite level and the middle class were just supposed to shut up and do what they tell us.
00:33:56.320 And I know a little thing or two about truckers and they're not inclined to go.
00:34:03.280 You don't get into long haul trucking because you want somebody over your shoulder telling you what to do all the time, by the way.
00:34:09.680 But the middle class, if they are not rising and standing up right now, they would transfer on the lower class.
00:34:16.600 Yeah, exactly.
00:34:17.580 And that's it.
00:34:18.840 And it's now or never.
00:34:20.920 It's you talk, you stand up or you close your mouth and you comply.
00:34:27.200 But if you do it, you will live with the consequences that will like be will be there for years and years and years and years and years, probably for the rest of our life.
00:34:39.380 So, yeah, you took the decision to stand up, to change the thing and to decide that your future need to be better of what is going on right now.
00:34:49.480 Yeah.
00:34:50.240 Mr. Producer AD whispers in my ear that we should get off YouTube.
00:34:53.740 But before we do, I want to show a few images from Calgary.
00:34:59.200 So, there were people waiting out last night for the truckers to come.
00:35:03.220 And like I said, the truckers were two hours late to go through Edmonton.
00:35:05.940 And it's four hours roughly by truck from the west side of Edmonton to where they were ending up in Calgary for the night.
00:35:14.260 So, people were on the overpasses all along the way.
00:35:17.700 They were waiting in Airdrie.
00:35:18.760 They were waiting in Red Deer.
00:35:19.720 They were waiting in Leduc.
00:35:20.880 They were waiting in Calgary.
00:35:22.120 And so, we had our team out there late, late, late last night, like midnight and later or earlier, depending on what side of the day you're on.
00:35:30.640 And we had super fun.
00:35:33.900 Our team in Calgary were in the air this morning in a helicopter flying around the skies of Calgary early, early morning to catch the trucks where they were staged and to watch them pull out.
00:35:49.200 And we have Mocha Bisergen.
00:35:51.100 Mocha Bisergen, he's embedded on the convoy to tell you the other side of the story because you're definitely not going to get the truth of the convoy in the mainstream media.
00:36:00.780 So, that's what we're doing.
00:36:03.700 And to follow along with all of their reports, this is on one of the overpasses.
00:36:09.100 Look at that.
00:36:09.600 This is how great this is, you know.
00:36:11.560 But to follow along with all of their reports, you can go to convoyreports.com.
00:36:18.880 And at that same website, you can pitch in to cover the expenses because Mocha's renting a car to follow along with the convoy.
00:36:26.500 So, he'll be there from Calgary all the way to Ottawa.
00:36:32.360 He's going to incur, you know, hotel expenses along the way and gas and car rental.
00:36:37.840 And, you know, he's not a big guy.
00:36:39.980 He eats pretty cheap.
00:36:40.800 But there will be food expenses too.
00:36:43.140 So, if you want to help out, go ahead and pitch in.
00:36:46.800 It's at convoyreports.com because otherwise, all you're going to hear is the mainstream media on this instead of actually from the truckers on the ground.
00:36:58.140 And they will probably try to discredit them and say that.
00:37:01.960 100%.
00:37:02.320 Oh, you know, like everything that bad and everybody forelooking them like, why they are doing that?
00:37:09.620 They are crazy.
00:37:10.240 No, they are fighting for you.
00:37:13.640 Yeah, exactly.
00:37:14.740 And I can't wait till an avocado goes up to $10 a piece because maybe the like pro five booster people, they'll get mugged by the reality of what a trucker means in the supply chain and what they mean to the cost of your favorite exotic food from the United States and Mexico.
00:37:38.520 When your favorite trendy millennial food goes sky high, maybe they'll realize what these mandates are doing.
00:37:47.760 Because think about it.
00:37:49.380 At minus 37, nothing is growing up here.
00:37:52.280 No, no, no, I would have scurvy so fast.
00:37:58.700 Yeah, yeah.
00:38:00.840 Yeah, this is another thing.
00:38:02.640 So, Pastor Art Poloski, great guy.
00:38:04.680 He was out last night to meet and greet the truckers to offer them some food because they had left very, very early the very same day from BC.
00:38:15.300 That's a long drive.
00:38:16.780 Roads were treacherous last night, by the way.
00:38:19.080 It was freezing rain and then snow on top of it.
00:38:22.000 So, I mean, just a stressful drive.
00:38:27.220 Driving in a convoy is actually kind of stressful and hard.
00:38:29.720 You have to be constantly aware of everything around you.
00:38:32.980 So, you know, it's just this is the best of Canada that we're seeing here.
00:38:38.220 And it makes me so angry to see how they're painted by the mainstream media.
00:38:43.220 It really frustrates me very much.
00:38:45.980 But it's the first time I actually have seen the history that all Canada, all Canada, all together, like, you know, like, sometimes it's all the French, all the English.
00:39:03.320 And now it's like, oh, everybody is in the same problem and we are all together and we love each other and we support each other.
00:39:11.800 I think it's been a while that I didn't see that.
00:39:16.160 Yeah, it's great.
00:39:17.400 You know, like, it's a national unity project and everyone's united against Justin Trudeau.
00:39:23.000 So I couldn't be pleased, more pleased about it.
00:39:27.100 One of the things, the ridiculousness of it, the whole vaccine mandates for truckers, things to make everybody safer.
00:39:35.580 And I know we're getting dangerously close to having to evacuate from YouTube.
00:39:39.280 But there was a trucker last night who, an immigrant Canadian trucker, by the way, from Eastern Europe, it sounded like.
00:39:47.200 He was a long haul trucker.
00:39:49.920 He said, this is my first load back in Canada in I don't know how long because I normally haul back and forth.
00:39:56.660 But he said, I'm too unclean to cross the border.
00:40:01.260 So now I'm hauling medical supplies to hospitals.
00:40:05.100 I'm like, oh, OK, so you're too unclean to cross the border, but you're just perfectly fine to handle medical supplies, going hospital to hospital.
00:40:13.120 Science strikes again.
00:40:15.440 Especially when we think about we should all send them to Roxham Road to cross over.
00:40:21.760 And just like, hey.
00:40:23.300 That's such a smart idea.
00:40:25.740 Yeah.
00:40:26.100 Maybe they will close it at that time.
00:40:30.160 Yeah.
00:40:30.720 Finally.
00:40:31.260 That's how we'd get Justin Trudeau to close the road.
00:40:34.420 Now, we should sign off of YouTube because I feel like I'm getting dangerously close to jeopardizing the company's YouTube channel.
00:40:42.840 And like I always say, I always thought it would be David Menzies that gets the YouTube channel nuked instead of me.
00:40:49.540 So let's sign off of YouTube and invite our YouTube viewers to join us on the other platforms so that we can continue these dangerous conversations over there.
00:40:58.320 And Mr. Producer will let me know when we're clear.
00:41:05.080 OK.
00:41:05.980 We are all clear.
00:41:07.260 Now, on other news over the weekend, Rebel News teams were, well, really, we were covering worldwide freedom protests literally around the world.
00:41:16.840 We have a footprint in Australia and in the UK and then all across Canada.
00:41:23.440 And in Toronto, the Toronto police operations, they described the worldwide freedom protests as anti-vax and anti-mask.
00:41:39.620 And that leads me to believe that this is political policing and not actual policing because these people are really not, by and large, anti-vaccine or anti-mask.
00:41:53.500 They're anti-government making you do either one of those things.
00:41:56.920 And so they sent out this tweet saying, Queens Park legislature building, 2 p.m.
00:42:04.340 People gathered to protest anti-vax, anti-mask.
00:42:09.540 And as Ezra points out, they're political activists running errands for politicians spreading political propaganda.
00:42:16.320 They've put their politics ahead of the Police Services Act.
00:42:19.220 And, yeah, this guy points out you're spreading misinformation, claiming it is anti-vax, anti-mask.
00:42:25.180 It's for freedom of choice and against mandates, coercion and lockdown.
00:42:28.500 But I guess we don't have to guess where the Toronto police come down on this issue because how many times do we have to sue them for assaulting our guys as they're covering these protests?
00:42:42.180 They've been political enforcers from the very beginning.
00:42:44.800 They do the bidding of their political masters and that's it.
00:42:47.180 And so many of them.
00:42:48.640 And this is not all police.
00:42:50.840 Don't write me letters.
00:42:52.100 This is not all police.
00:42:53.080 I know there are some good ones out there who absolutely hate this kind of stuff.
00:42:57.380 Yeah.
00:42:57.660 And that's why I so, so viciously call out the bad ones is because you mark the good ones with your badness.
00:43:05.660 And I don't like that either.
00:43:07.680 But this is this is how it is now.
00:43:10.360 This is this is policing that you just do the bidding of your political masters and that's it.
00:43:15.580 And that makes me so frustrated because when I was there, I was in the freedom rally and some of them are double bags.
00:43:27.100 They just say, hey, they promised me freedom.
00:43:30.740 They promised me my life back.
00:43:33.400 They promised me I will have like everything as a normal.
00:43:37.580 And now I need to do another effort to have a third shot.
00:43:42.460 And if I don't want and if I refuse, I lose everything as I never did my part.
00:43:50.740 Yeah.
00:43:51.820 Yeah.
00:43:52.320 So they just want more and more and more.
00:43:56.860 Yeah.
00:43:57.340 A lot of people are realizing that the government is just wanting more and more and more from you.
00:44:01.520 A lot of people like Jordan Peterson says this all the time.
00:44:06.200 He is double vaxxed.
00:44:08.860 He went out and he thought this was the tradeoff that if he did this, the lockdowns would end and the government would leave you alone.
00:44:16.940 Now, normally, Jordan Peterson is a very smart man, but I don't think he was very smart on this issue because now he's come and seen the light of day.
00:44:26.300 But his first mistake was trusting the government to uphold their end of the bargain.
00:44:29.480 And so now he is so against mandates and coercion.
00:44:34.740 And he's actually even come out and said, you know, like, I feel stupid for trusting the government on this issue.
00:44:40.720 And that's a lot of the same sentiment of the people at these protests where they say, I did my part.
00:44:47.600 Why isn't the government doing theirs now?
00:44:49.820 Yeah, this is it.
00:44:50.580 Enough is enough.
00:44:51.240 Enough COVID mandates.
00:44:52.500 Drop the masks and the idiot rules and get on with life today.
00:44:55.060 I don't know if you maybe, can you bring it up?
00:45:01.140 This is not exactly on the worldwide freedom protest thing, but can you bring up Jason Kenney's tweet about the trucker mandates?
00:45:09.260 Because I want to talk about that for a second.
00:45:11.460 So over the weekend, Jason Kenney, Premier Jason Kenney, and he said this a couple of times, that he's against the vaccine mandates for truckers.
00:45:20.480 Well, good, me too.
00:45:22.360 But what about all the oil field truckers?
00:45:24.460 All the oil field truckers, a lot of them depends on who you work for.
00:45:32.420 But to get onto a site to move a rig, haul equipment on and off an oil field lease, it depends on where you're going, where the site is.
00:45:42.320 You've got to be vaccinated.
00:45:43.860 So it would be really nice if Jason Kenney would also go to bat for some of the other major players in the trucking industry out here in Alberta.
00:45:52.020 But this is what he says.
00:45:53.340 Nobody wants to see empty shelves in higher prices.
00:45:55.820 We need some common sense here.
00:45:57.060 Ottawa should drop the VAX mandate for truckers now.
00:46:00.760 Yeah.
00:46:01.580 But for the same reason, for the same reason, you should drop it for everybody.
00:46:06.380 I would like the guys in trucking after a long day of hauling stuff to be able to go and have a beer in a bar with their friends.
00:46:16.980 But because they are unvaccinated or unwilling to participate in the biomedical police state that is the vaccine passport system, they don't get to go.
00:46:25.340 So even if you drop the VAX mandate for truckers federally, Jason Kenney's own government is enforcing a VAX mandate for our truckers to go and unwind or for anybody to go and unwind.
00:46:38.980 And nobody gets the hypocrisy in all of this?
00:46:43.080 Yeah.
00:46:43.800 But us, same if you're on VAX, you cannot buy alcohol or cannabis or you cannot have fun.
00:46:52.700 I'm wondering if the bar reopened, if the double VAX will be allowed to go and have a beer in the bar.
00:47:05.280 But when the vaccine passport will pass to the third dose, who will be allowed to drink a beer or drink wine?
00:47:13.480 Yeah.
00:47:13.660 What we can see so far, it's our supply, it's coming low and low.
00:47:21.200 We can see like you have some hole in all the place in the shop.
00:47:25.160 So I think it would be getting worse and worse and worse if they don't drop this mandate because I'm not sure that the trucker will actually comply.
00:47:34.880 I think they will just leave.
00:47:37.440 Yeah, I'm seeing empty shelves in Alberta here, empty meat shelves too, by the way.
00:47:42.620 This is where the animals are.
00:47:43.980 Like we do a lot of the meat processing here and our shelves are empty.
00:47:48.460 Our produce shelves are empty.
00:47:51.060 And I'm sure the produce problem is directly related to truckers who are not able to cross the border doing those heavy haul, long haul trips from California and Mexico with our produce.
00:48:05.280 It's outrageous.
00:48:06.280 It's outrageous.
00:48:07.800 You know, I'm sure I took some video.
00:48:11.220 I'm just laughing because there's some halal meat left.
00:48:15.020 But, you know, I took some video when I was buying groceries a couple of weeks ago when this sort of first started to hit.
00:48:24.260 And it was really, it was really bad.
00:48:27.000 Now, one thing we were talking about in the Skype planning meeting was what's happening in Quebec because your vaccine mandate is set to roll out to hit big box stores.
00:48:42.780 Now, tell us about this.
00:48:45.180 But starting today, you cannot go to Walmart.
00:48:50.960 You cannot go to Costco.
00:48:52.060 So you cannot go to, like, Canadian Tire, I think, Staple, all the big, big stores that is 1,500 square meters.
00:49:04.340 You cannot enter if you are not vaccinated.
00:49:06.800 So right now, I know that Costco have a hard issue because of their membership card.
00:49:13.960 Everybody is calling to cancel it and get a refund.
00:49:17.500 And so I have someone who sent me over a discussion that I had in the phone with an employee who say that now, since they have the vaccine passport and they have some issue with the customer, you have the power to hand up the phone any time that it wants to.
00:49:35.420 So what the employees say that you need to write a letter to Costco to ask for their refund for their member card.
00:49:46.700 And as well, if you go and show up at the Costco, I think you will be escorted to the place by some people who work there to ask for your refund.
00:49:59.080 So you cannot ask, you cannot enter freely inside.
00:50:03.240 And for all you call it for the tool and the construction tool, hardware shop, hardware.
00:50:13.420 So some of them say, no, we are, we don't want to comply to this.
00:50:19.040 I don't know if it passed.
00:50:20.520 They wanted to, the businessman, the constructor people to be examined because it's a part of their job.
00:50:29.040 If they are not getting their tool to do some constriction, they cannot still work.
00:50:35.180 So I think they have been exempt for now, but, and especially because they were saying, but that is essential.
00:50:42.380 If something broke inside of your house, you need to repair it.
00:50:45.680 If you have like, I don't know, like, um, your, um, uh, toilet is broken and the water is getting floating, you need to, to go and, um, buy what you need to repair it.
00:50:58.800 So as a lot of people were saying, but that is an essential shop.
00:51:02.460 You cannot stop people to go, but they were saying that you have a smaller shop, but what's the point that everybody rushed to a smaller place where everybody would be like stuck together inside of a shop and the condemnation would be higher.
00:51:15.660 What's the point that make no sense.
00:51:18.280 Everybody would touch the thing and it's smaller.
00:51:20.720 So everything doesn't make sense for, by the science, you know, if it's smarter, you get more people and the contagion is, is, is, is more close.
00:51:31.580 So, so right now, um, not only you cannot smoke cannabis, you cannot buy cannabis, but you cannot buy alcohol.
00:51:40.520 Um, and you cannot go to big store as Walmart where the grocery is cheaper.
00:51:47.020 And so what's, what's the point.
00:51:50.140 So now we are on that.
00:51:52.660 We will have maybe a health taxer.
00:51:54.880 We cannot buy cheap grocery.
00:51:58.140 We need to go to small one that everything costs more because they are smaller shop.
00:52:04.020 So it's not, everybody will be able to afford that.
00:52:08.160 It's just, I, the, the, the middle class or the lower class would be more and more and more poor because they cannot afford.
00:52:17.020 And fun fact, if you want to deliver some alcohol, you need to pay $12 for delivery every time that you want some.
00:52:27.040 You can't even drown your sorrows about living in a biomedical police state.
00:52:31.220 Um, that was my first response when I heard that the big box stores like Walmart and Costco were moving towards the vax passport system was that this becomes a punishment once again on the unvaccinated poor or the, the poor who do not want to participate in the biomedical police state.
00:52:53.180 And it's because groceries are cheaper in Walmart than they are in your local boutique health food store.
00:53:00.500 So the poor are the ones who are going to suffer from this.
00:53:04.160 Not to mention, given the supply chain issues, you're cutting the people off from the grocery stores with the strongest supply chains.
00:53:15.720 Walmart has a very strong supply chain.
00:53:17.900 Costco has a very strong supply chain.
00:53:20.260 I was saying in the meeting, our planning meeting, when hurricanes hit the United States, sometimes Walmart can get there quicker with water and supplies than FEMA can, than the American government, because their supply chains are stronger.
00:53:36.260 They have warehouses that are more able to deploy things.
00:53:39.860 So now you've got the poor who are being chased into boutique grocery stores where they can't afford the groceries.
00:53:48.760 If the groceries are even there, what could possibly go wrong?
00:53:53.960 What do you want?
00:53:55.020 What do you think it would happen?
00:53:57.000 What do you think it would happen?
00:53:59.460 Quebec people, they will cross to Ontario and they will go in this shop and they will bring it back home.
00:54:09.360 Yep.
00:54:09.860 It's going to be a boom for business in Ottawa as people just go across the river and get groceries where, you know, at least it's still legal to buy groceries as an unvaccinated person in a big box store.
00:54:28.940 Yep.
00:54:29.680 It's what will happen.
00:54:31.300 What?
00:54:31.840 Like, you drive two hours, you go to buy your stuff.
00:54:36.260 It will cost you, same if the gas, if you count the gas, it will sell cheaper than if you buy it in a small shop, small store.
00:54:48.400 So I don't think it's really a smart move because right now, you know, that Costco doesn't do delivery.
00:54:55.880 But I was just wondering why they are doing that to Costco and Walmart because they have a grocery store.
00:55:02.840 So that is essential.
00:55:04.480 But what they were saying is because their main supply, it's not grocery.
00:55:09.580 But I'm thinking Costco is mostly grocery.
00:55:13.360 Grocery.
00:55:14.400 Yeah.
00:55:15.200 Yeah.
00:55:15.720 Why they say that?
00:55:16.940 Because it's not their main, their main goal is not the grocery.
00:55:21.180 It's what they say.
00:55:21.960 It's why they put the vaccine passport on it.
00:55:23.860 No, this is social credit.
00:55:26.180 That's all this says.
00:55:27.300 This is those, those pesky poor people and the people in the middle class.
00:55:31.460 They're still not doing what we want them to do.
00:55:34.200 So now we're going to cut them off from their favorite stores because we cut them off from sports, going out, alcohol, cannabis, going to the gym, eating inside with their friends.
00:55:46.260 We cut them off from all those things and they still didn't listen to us.
00:55:51.120 So now we have to cut them off from their favorite stores.
00:55:53.860 And breaking at one, we know the strategy of the government to persuade the unvaccinated to get their first dose.
00:56:05.860 What they can do more than what they have already done.
00:56:10.620 COVID jail.
00:56:11.180 They were actually talking to call and to reach every unvaccinated people in Quebec to know why they are, they have not taken the vaccine yet.
00:56:24.400 I think it would be.
00:56:25.360 That's why.
00:56:26.640 I can't wait till they call you.
00:56:28.560 I can't wait.
00:56:30.820 That is harassment from the government.
00:56:33.860 Yeah.
00:56:34.120 Oh, give them in your school.
00:56:35.980 Will you receive a call?
00:56:38.600 The two, the two million, the $200 million on advertising.
00:56:43.480 There is not enough for them.
00:56:44.980 They need to call them too.
00:56:48.260 Yeah.
00:56:49.800 Joints for jabs.
00:56:50.940 Look at this.
00:56:51.820 Hold out, Alexa.
00:56:52.640 Maybe you can get a.
00:56:55.080 Joints for jabs.
00:56:56.260 Washington state will give you free weed to get vaccinated.
00:57:02.340 What?
00:57:03.420 Do you know what?
00:57:04.020 At least it's better than giving you a donut or a burger.
00:57:06.820 I guess, you know, like, is it, is it, I guess, probably better.
00:57:11.440 I'm not sure.
00:57:13.260 I just.
00:57:13.960 So what do they do for the children?
00:57:17.200 They give weed to the children as well?
00:57:21.160 They give it to the parents.
00:57:22.460 I don't know if it's Lego.
00:57:24.560 Yeah.
00:57:25.040 Krispy Kreme giving away donuts.
00:57:27.040 If you get vaccinated, I think in Toronto, they were giving like Harvey's burgers or something
00:57:32.700 for your health.
00:57:34.280 You see, you have to get vaccinated for your health.
00:57:36.680 Yeah.
00:57:36.860 Popsicle.
00:57:37.340 Yeah.
00:57:37.360 Also it was Popsicle.
00:57:38.740 That's not grooming.
00:57:45.320 Vaccine groomers.
00:57:47.000 Shake Shack offering burgers if you get vaccinated.
00:57:53.340 If this is all it takes for you to sell out your moral convictions, like a free burger.
00:57:59.800 Yeah.
00:58:00.380 I don't know.
00:58:00.960 I never heard.
00:58:01.820 I never heard that in the story.
00:58:03.900 Oh yeah.
00:58:04.560 If you get bags, I will give you like a good meal.
00:58:07.680 I never heard that before.
00:58:10.180 It's just in the past time, everybody was rushing there because everybody was falling in the street
00:58:18.080 because they were dying, really dying.
00:58:20.580 And now we're just like, you should get bags.
00:58:23.000 I will give you a hamburger.
00:58:26.000 I know.
00:58:27.580 Imagine being a vaccine holdout and then like a milkshake is the thing that breaks you.
00:58:34.380 And it's like, you know, I lost my job.
00:58:37.260 My family won't talk to me.
00:58:38.740 I haven't gone to anywhere in months because I'm not allowed to go anywhere, but you know
00:58:43.420 what?
00:58:43.640 Your burger has really changed my mind.
00:58:46.160 What?
00:58:51.000 It's what I was saying.
00:58:53.320 That makes me never want to eat fries again.
00:58:56.540 Why is it so gross how he's eating fries?
00:58:59.760 He's like eating three and then just like bending them into his mouth.
00:59:03.240 It's like he's these lizards.
00:59:05.180 He's used to eating flies with a big long tongue because he's just a lizard in a skin
00:59:09.320 suit.
00:59:09.800 Look at his hands.
00:59:11.560 Some people love hamburgers.
00:59:12.700 Some don't.
00:59:13.340 Oh my God.
00:59:14.100 We don't expect all ways of life.
00:59:15.740 But if this is appealing to you, just think of this when you think of vaccination.
00:59:21.700 What?
00:59:22.440 I don't want to hear it.
00:59:26.180 Yuck.
00:59:26.580 I don't want to hear this lizard chewing in my ear.
00:59:29.080 Maybe at one point when we will have nothing on the shelter, like the shell on the grocery
00:59:39.440 and when you will have like one hamburger for maybe $40, maybe you will change your idea.
00:59:46.340 That's right.
00:59:46.880 That's a good point.
00:59:47.860 The supply chain issues.
00:59:49.500 When we have no food, maybe that free hamburger will make a lot more sense.
00:59:54.180 But for now, I never want to eat fries in a burger again after watching that.
00:59:58.120 Because I don't think that man actually eats fries in a burger.
01:00:01.380 He actually made it seem gross and weird.
01:00:03.480 I don't know if that were possible, but he did.
01:00:05.340 I'm just my skin is crawling.
01:00:06.920 It's weird.
01:00:10.260 Yuck.
01:00:11.160 We are at 11 o'clock my time, one o'clock your time.
01:00:15.080 I know that you have a very busy day because you told me the list of things that you're
01:00:18.640 doing.
01:00:18.940 And I'm like, that's four days worth of work, Alexa.
01:00:21.220 And it's Monday.
01:00:21.940 So let's get to some of these chats and then we'll wrap up the show and let you get back
01:00:28.500 to work because you've got to save an entire province, apparently.
01:00:32.760 Before we go on, I should mention that Nat and Kat have a brand new show and they are doing
01:00:44.700 the audio launch of their show tomorrow at 7pm.
01:00:48.580 So if you are listening to us in podcast form, this show, make sure you subscribe to Rebel
01:00:57.000 News on whatever place you get your podcast.
01:00:59.740 So your podcatcher, as they say, it's called Misunderstood with Nat and Kat.
01:01:04.520 And it's something a little different, something for the young people.
01:01:08.420 As I say that, I instantly sound old.
01:01:10.800 But it's pop culture news from a Christian conservative perspective and it's fun and it's
01:01:18.120 interesting and it will give you hope for the young people out there.
01:01:21.960 And if you are a subscriber to Rebel News Plus, maybe consider getting a subscription for some
01:01:27.800 of the younger people in your life because there will be new things for them to watch and
01:01:33.460 consume coming out behind our paywall, including Nat and Kat's show.
01:01:39.120 So if you maybe want to bring your young people to conservatism, this might help.
01:01:45.980 Yeah, do I'm too old.
01:01:49.980 No, you know I am.
01:01:53.460 Their show is 7pm Eastern Standard Time.
01:01:57.640 And for those of you who are not quite yet a subscriber to Rebel News Plus, these girls
01:02:04.920 have, I don't know how they did this, but good for them, good hustle girls, they've got
01:02:10.700 a coupon code for 25% off a brand new Rebel News Plus subscription.
01:02:17.120 And the coupon code is Misunderstood25.
01:02:21.580 So Mis, M-I-S-S, understood25, all one word, and give you 25% off your Rebel News Plus subscription.
01:02:28.500 So that's really great.
01:02:30.820 Good job, girls.
01:02:31.700 I'm actually interviewing the two of them for my Wednesday show, The Gun Show, which
01:02:36.440 will also be behind the paywall.
01:02:38.100 So I'm interested to learn.
01:02:40.640 Oh, look at them.
01:02:41.320 How cute they are.
01:02:42.180 Oh, they're getting new headshots.
01:02:44.060 I said I would quit if I don't get a new headshot, but they're getting new headshots.
01:02:47.920 That's fine.
01:02:48.760 It's fine.
01:02:49.600 I just look like my, like I have an older sister who doesn't sleep enough.
01:02:54.980 Whatever.
01:02:56.520 We are waiting for your gray hair.
01:03:00.060 They're there.
01:03:01.260 They're there.
01:03:01.680 Anyways, we've got $10 from What's Going Down.
01:03:09.260 It says, everyone, please email your MP requesting a vote of non-confidence against Trudeau.
01:03:14.680 There's about 100,000 trucks and 500,000 people going to Ottawa.
01:03:19.280 Imagine hundreds of emails to each MP.
01:03:22.040 That is a slight exaggeration.
01:03:24.820 And there are going to be a lot of trucks and a lot of people, but I don't think we
01:03:27.980 need to exaggerate.
01:03:29.800 Secondarily, you just can't have a vote of non-confidence.
01:03:32.920 It has to be a confidence issue, like a budget or some other vote where the government brings
01:03:43.680 forward something to vote on and it gets voted down.
01:03:49.020 That is a confidence vote and that can cause a government to fall.
01:03:53.300 So I guess we got to sort of keep waiting until a matter of confidence comes along and
01:04:00.240 you better hope that the other parties don't decide to prop up the liberals because that
01:04:04.840 continues to happen, especially with the NDP.
01:04:07.080 Here's a little civics lesson for everybody there.
01:04:12.420 Kane and Mark.
01:04:14.500 Good Alberta guy.
01:04:15.880 Gives us a buck.
01:04:16.520 Happy Monday, girls.
01:04:17.300 How's David?
01:04:17.880 Will we see him on Tuesday?
01:04:18.940 Shout out to AD.
01:04:20.140 Do we have a graphic yet?
01:04:22.600 A fun graphic for AD or are you just using the guitar?
01:04:26.900 You're not doing anything, are you?
01:04:28.140 Okay.
01:04:29.660 David, we sort of anticipated back by the end of the week, hopefully.
01:04:40.060 Um, but I do have to check in with him because, um, I need to know if I need to cover off a
01:04:46.020 show for him.
01:04:46.500 But as, as I said, he will be back.
01:04:48.940 We are getting tons of emails and support about David.
01:04:52.540 Um, I miss him as much as you guys do.
01:04:54.760 Trust me on that.
01:04:56.020 Um, he's beloved.
01:04:57.620 Um, but he's taking some time away, um, and he deserves it.
01:05:01.500 He's been going really nearly a hundred percent for seven years almost.
01:05:06.820 And so, um, let's just let him relax and recuperate.
01:05:11.520 And he's, he's still around and we can't wait to have him back.
01:05:15.260 And we appreciate everybody's concern for him.
01:05:17.780 Thank you.
01:05:19.340 Uh, Tyler Shelton gives us five bucks.
01:05:21.460 Forced vaccination is a random death sentence.
01:05:23.860 It's like the government making you play Russian roulette.
01:05:27.720 I don't even need to, I don't even think we need to be that, um, dramatic about it.
01:05:33.840 It's just your personal choice.
01:05:35.840 And that's what it should come down to.
01:05:38.600 Do you do what's best for you?
01:05:40.280 And it's got nothing to do with Justin Trudeau or your premier or your public health bureaucrat
01:05:45.040 that makes way too much money.
01:05:48.380 Uh, history club world gives us a buck.
01:05:50.260 You should put a tracker on your convoy website to show the location of the convoy along the
01:05:55.920 way.
01:05:56.180 Also, you should try to get interviews with all the truckers possible.
01:05:58.840 Well, um, I don't know if you heard, but we do have a, uh, a journalist, Mocha
01:06:02.980 Berserkin.
01:06:04.360 I say his name different every time I say it, but I think it's Berserkin and he is, uh,
01:06:09.560 he's embedded with the convoy.
01:06:12.180 So he's going to be talking to lots of truckers, lots of their supporters, the people who are
01:06:16.660 rallying to greet the truckers along the way.
01:06:18.620 And maybe even some of the truckers families about what this mandate means for them, if
01:06:25.420 they don't comply, if they don't take a stand.
01:06:27.680 So, um, stay tuned.
01:06:29.900 Oh, look at that.
01:06:31.420 Tons of support going through Strathmore, Alberta and throughout the route.
01:06:35.740 You know, Strathmore is a great town near Calgary, west of Calgary.
01:06:40.580 Um, this is the convoy headed west and, um, this is out the window of Mocha's car in the
01:06:46.620 convoy.
01:06:47.180 So that's just wonderful.
01:06:49.580 Wow.
01:06:50.700 That's beautiful to see.
01:06:52.460 Yeah, it's great.
01:06:53.800 It's heartwarming.
01:06:56.400 Um, Fraser McBurney gives us five bucks.
01:06:59.020 Fraser always has his cap locks on, which is, um, it's great.
01:07:02.920 It's how I know it's Fraser out of the corner of my eye before I even read the comment.
01:07:06.660 Um, five bucks.
01:07:08.360 It's well past time to end the emergency powers.
01:07:10.620 They should have ended the emergency powers two weeks from when they started.
01:07:13.600 Yeah.
01:07:14.000 What are we on month 22, the third year anyway, of two weeks to flatten the curve.
01:07:22.240 And people are still like, we're going to comply our way out of this.
01:07:26.600 Never.
01:07:28.840 Do you do the renew every 10 days like us?
01:07:33.700 I quit paying attention.
01:07:34.960 I quit paying attention because it doesn't even matter.
01:07:38.040 It doesn't even matter.
01:07:39.120 It'll end when it ends.
01:07:40.600 And I don't, I don't comply with them anyway.
01:07:42.780 Right.
01:07:43.180 So, um, I know in, uh, in Edmonton, they just keep renewing them, renewing them, renewing
01:07:50.620 them.
01:07:51.160 Um, and, and they never even justify it.
01:07:53.440 The reason, the reason they expire is supposed to, you're supposed to justify why you still need
01:08:00.360 the power.
01:08:00.900 That's what, but they never do.
01:08:02.060 So they, they actually threw out the reason that they expire and just don't even do that
01:08:08.420 anymore either.
01:08:09.040 They don't even go through the theater of it all.
01:08:10.920 It's just like, yep, we renewed them.
01:08:13.440 And, um, yeah, congratulations.
01:08:16.220 Not even a debate.
01:08:17.340 Yeah, there's no, there's no debate.
01:08:19.940 They just do it instead of having to prove their work or show how they work.
01:08:26.700 They would never.
01:08:31.120 DRB 1313, five bucks.
01:08:33.140 The protest at Queens Park was about individual freedom as guaranteed in our constitution to
01:08:36.980 which I thought police were an oath to uphold.
01:08:39.000 Good point.
01:08:39.920 Guess I was wrong about that.
01:08:41.340 Guess you were.
01:08:42.760 Guess you were.
01:08:43.680 The police definitely did swear that.
01:08:45.700 Did they mean it?
01:08:48.080 I don't know.
01:08:49.220 Not so sure.
01:08:51.900 History Club World gives us a box.
01:08:54.340 Uh, no, wait.
01:08:55.740 How is David?
01:08:56.600 Oh, here.
01:08:57.260 History Club World gives us a buck.
01:08:58.640 How is David doing?
01:08:59.440 I think I answered that.
01:09:00.480 It's been a while since he posted anything.
01:09:01.980 And I know one of the last times we saw him was his assault.
01:09:05.480 Also, Rebel should give Sheila and Alexa a weekly show.
01:09:09.940 Well, I would not be mad about that.
01:09:12.500 Yeah.
01:09:14.560 I wouldn't be mad about that.
01:09:15.840 I just don't know how I would be able to pull Alexa off saving her province single-handedly
01:09:20.060 so that she could have her own show.
01:09:23.720 Yeah.
01:09:24.600 Especially, yeah.
01:09:25.400 If I, I received so much email recently to join the press conference, I want to tell
01:09:32.420 everybody I try so much.
01:09:33.920 I'm trying and I'm trying, but they keep refusing me, uh, they keep refusing revenues, but I'm
01:09:41.980 doing my best to get into these press conference to ask a real question, but it didn't work yet,
01:09:49.640 but I would keep trying.
01:09:52.220 Yeah.
01:09:52.740 They don't want you there.
01:09:53.640 They want all, they want repeaters, not reporters there.
01:09:57.700 And you're a reporter.
01:09:59.020 They are government repeaters.
01:10:00.840 But, um, before we give Alexa more work, I really just want to give her a day off.
01:10:04.880 That seems to be a bit of an impossibility right now.
01:10:09.420 Um, Alberta separatist gives us a buck, says for perspective, a 53 foot truck holds 26 pallets.
01:10:17.660 Grocery stores require three to six truck loads of food product per week, or they start to
01:10:22.980 empty out.
01:10:23.940 Consider the impact of 50,000 trucks, not delivering products prep for shortages, but well worth
01:10:30.580 it to force the government to back off.
01:10:32.440 Yeah.
01:10:32.520 I can do without for a little bit.
01:10:33.840 Plus I'm a bit of a prepper as it is.
01:10:35.800 So I'll be okay.
01:10:37.280 I just worry about the people who don't have the capacity to hold a couple of freezers
01:10:41.580 full of meat, like on the other side of the wall for me and don't have like a storage room
01:10:46.160 full of pickles and pickled things and canned goods.
01:10:49.140 Um, I'll be fine.
01:10:50.460 I just don't like the idea of the rest of the people hurting because they don't have
01:10:55.160 these things, but this is a hurt, unfortunately, that Justin Trudeau brought about.
01:10:59.180 So I don't hold any ill will towards anybody who's causing a supply chain shortage at this
01:11:04.060 point, as long as the cause is just inner peace, inner peace, uh, says I just came from
01:11:13.220 the grocery store.
01:11:14.020 Things are thinning.
01:11:14.840 Yeah.
01:11:15.520 You could not find rice Krispies, rice Krispies in a major upscale suburb of Edmonton over
01:11:23.480 the weekend.
01:11:24.120 There were none, not even like no name ones, store name.
01:11:28.000 You couldn't find those either.
01:11:30.040 It's what they say in our, in the media that everything is started with the cereal.
01:11:36.180 Every, every cereal is, is missing.
01:11:39.180 Yeah.
01:11:40.200 I couldn't find cinnamon, cinnamon, like two weeks ago.
01:11:44.840 There was none.
01:11:46.180 I found some in a bulk section in a random store and I just filled a bag and I took it
01:11:51.560 home and put it in a pickle jar.
01:11:53.780 Um, and so I feel like I'll be using it as currency at some point.
01:11:58.400 Um, yeah, I think so.
01:12:00.600 Yeah.
01:12:01.520 Uh, sadly, my friend in Northern Ontario, her son has with autism only eats four things.
01:12:07.680 Uh, and one of those things is goldfish crackers.
01:12:10.260 I want to send her some, but Canada post is slowing down too.
01:12:14.840 Yeah.
01:12:15.660 Yeah.
01:12:16.260 Yeah.
01:12:16.580 I mean, that's the same.
01:12:17.640 They fire them too.
01:12:20.320 Yeah.
01:12:21.020 And because of supply chain shortages in the grocery store, people are doing a lot of online
01:12:25.680 ordering.
01:12:26.180 I know I am.
01:12:27.180 Immediately.
01:12:27.660 I went to Amazon looking for cinnamon and I'm like, what am I doing?
01:12:32.280 Like I'm going on Amazon looking for cinnamon, but it was a real, I needed cinnamon, but I
01:12:38.940 won't need cinnamon for a long, long time.
01:12:40.620 Um, I have all the cinnamon in Northern Alberta.
01:12:44.380 Everybody, if you're looking for cinnamon, just stop.
01:12:47.800 I have it all.
01:12:48.580 There's none.
01:12:50.280 Um, history club world says any timeframe until they get Alberta's get to Alberta's best city
01:12:56.480 medicine hat.
01:12:57.220 Also plans for rebel to expand down to medicine hat.
01:13:01.180 You know, sometimes we send, uh, the team from Calgary to cover some stories out in medicine
01:13:06.100 hat.
01:13:06.760 Um, I think they might, I'm not sure if they'll be coming down to medicine hat.
01:13:11.480 Uh, it sounds like they're going straight out, uh, West on highway one.
01:13:15.780 Um, and they were at Strathmore about an hour ago.
01:13:18.400 So, um, I guess if, if you're near medicine hat, they'd be coming through your area right away.
01:13:24.200 Um, I think it's convoy for freedom, 2022 on Facebook.
01:13:28.580 They have a lot of the details posted there.
01:13:30.920 So if you're looking to see when they're coming through your, uh, area, that would be it.
01:13:35.160 And I think we're all caught up.
01:13:38.080 We're 13 minutes over time.
01:13:41.380 Yes.
01:13:42.420 Um, yes.
01:13:44.220 Um, I think I'm hosting tomorrow again with Adam, who was not able to make the show today
01:13:49.620 because he was in a chopper in the sky.
01:13:52.060 So, but you know, the winner is ultimately me because I got to co-host with Alexa.
01:13:56.580 Um, yes.
01:13:58.860 Um, thank you everybody for tuning in.
01:14:01.660 Thank you, Alexa, for being my co-host.
01:14:04.280 Thank you to everybody in studio, putting the show together, including the people behind
01:14:08.360 the scenes to publish everything, to make sure that our viewers can watch us.
01:14:11.960 Thank you to everybody who pitched in to keep the lights on.
01:14:15.400 Um, I'll see everybody back here tomorrow.
01:14:17.280 And as David Menzies always says, stay sane.
01:14:19.980 I'm done.
01:14:23.240 With this question?
01:14:24.700 No, I'm done with COVID.
01:14:26.460 Oh, I'm done.
01:14:27.320 It's like, I, I went so hard on COVID.
01:14:29.940 I sprayed the Pringles cans that I bought at the grocery store, stripped my clothes off
01:14:35.400 because I thought COVID would be on my clothes.
01:14:37.680 Like, I did it all.
01:14:39.040 I watched Tiger King.
01:14:40.160 I got to the end of Spotify.
01:14:41.360 Like, we all did it, right?
01:14:44.380 And...
01:14:44.700 No, no, we didn't all do it.
01:14:46.220 Okay, cool.
01:14:46.460 Well, here's the thing.
01:14:47.260 A lot of us...
01:14:47.440 No, we didn't all do it.
01:14:48.340 A lot of us did do it.
01:14:49.440 And then we were told, you get the vaccine.
01:14:52.480 You get the vaccine and you get back to normal.
01:14:54.680 And we haven't gotten back to normal.
01:14:58.780 And it's ridiculous at this point.
01:15:01.560 I know that so many of my liberal and progressive friends are with me on this, and they do not
01:15:06.560 want to say it out loud because they are scared to be called anti-vax or to be called science
01:15:12.420 denial or to be, you know, smeared as a trumper.
01:15:15.440 I'm sorry.
01:15:16.280 If you believe the science, you will look at the data that we did not have two years ago,
01:15:21.500 and you will find out that cloth masks do not do anything.
01:15:26.680 You will realize that you can show your vaccine passport at a restaurant and still be asymptomatic
01:15:32.640 and carrying Omicron.
01:15:33.620 And you will realize, most importantly, that this is going to be remembered by the younger
01:15:38.660 generation as a catastrophic moral crime.
01:15:42.240 The city of Flint, Michigan, which is 80%, I think, minority students, has just announced
01:15:47.500 indefinite virtual schooling.
01:15:50.020 In the past two years, we've seen among young girls a 51% increase in self-harm.
01:15:55.740 People are killing themselves.
01:15:57.260 They are anxious.
01:15:58.120 They are depressed.
01:15:58.980 They are lonely.
01:15:59.780 That is why we need to end it more than any inconvenience that it's been to the rest of
01:16:04.480 us.
01:16:04.720 I think it's like at this point, it's a pandemic of bureaucracy.
01:16:12.340 It's a pandemic of bureaucracy.
01:16:14.320 It's not real anymore.
