Transcript

00:00:00.000 It's the man who's destroyed every small business in the city, Mr. Torrey.
00:00:21.420 Did you see that clip there? That's a teaser there for a longer video I'm going to get into in a minute.
00:00:28.420 Hi, everybody. Ezra Levant here. It's a pleasure to be back with you for our noontime live stream.
00:00:35.960 We are on the YouTube channel, but as you may know, YouTube throttles us, censors us, has demonetized us, suspended us for a week, and we are at their mercy.
00:00:47.100 They will likely cut us off. In my opinion, this is just speculation, I believe they're going to try and cut us off before the 2021 Canadian federal election.
00:00:59.400 They're under enormous pressure in the United States from Joe Biden, but for a much longer period of time from Justin Trudeau and Stephen Gilbeau in Canada,
00:01:07.320 who have named YouTube repeatedly as their central target.
00:01:13.660 Gee, I wonder who they could be talking about.
00:01:15.300 We are the largest independent YouTube channel in Canada, and although many of our viewers around the world were in Canada,
00:01:22.740 we have a Canadian focus, and we are the leading critics of Justin Trudeau,
00:01:26.940 more so even than Aaron O'Toole, who seems to agree with Trudeau on so much, whether it's the carbon tax or the lockdowns or immigration levels.
00:01:38.400 It's really, I'm trying to think of any disagreements of substance between O'Toole and Trudeau.
00:01:43.620 I can't really think of any off the top of my head.
00:01:45.500 We are, in some ways, the unofficial opposition, so he wants to silence us.
00:01:49.460 I think I told you the other day, I was convicted a second time for my book, The Libranos.
00:01:56.280 Number one best-selling book in Canada, pretty cool.
00:01:59.260 There were 23 other books about Trudeau during the same election.
00:02:03.720 Combined, they didn't even have the reach that The Libranos had.
00:02:06.800 That tells you something.
00:02:08.020 But of those 24 books published during the election, only mine was prosecuted by the election commissioner as an illegal campaign book.
00:02:16.880 All 24 books had a point of view.
00:02:19.720 Some were critical of Trudeau, and by that I mean mine.
00:02:23.380 And the other 23 praised Trudeau, including Aaron Wary's CBC book and the Post Media book,
00:02:30.560 both of which are heavily subsidized by the Trudeau government itself.
00:02:35.640 So yeah, they convicted me of writing The Libranos.
00:02:41.180 They fined me $3,000, and then they convicted me again and upheld the fine.
00:02:45.540 So of course they want to shut down our YouTube channel.
00:02:48.440 Why wouldn't they?
00:02:49.140 It's by far the biggest megaphone we have.
00:02:51.540 So we're live streaming on YouTube just until they kick us off.
00:02:55.380 At the same time, we're on SuperU.net, which is a Canadian free speech channel.
00:03:00.600 We're on Rumble.com, also headquartered in Canada, believe it or not.
00:03:04.700 And we're on Odyssey, and I'm told by the team that Odyssey now accepts donations, including for, like in regular currency, you don't just have to use their cryptocurrency.
00:03:20.000 So that's pretty cool.
00:03:22.620 It's hard for me to keep an eye on all of the different chat feeds on the four different video platforms I just mentioned.
00:03:32.660 So I'm going to rely on Justin, as I always do, to send me the interesting ones to my computer here.
00:03:38.920 But let me tell you what I want to talk about today.
00:03:40.820 First of all, welcome.
00:03:41.540 Thank you for being here.
00:03:42.280 Is it appropriate to heckle or harass politicians if you meet them on the street?
00:03:52.260 It's a good question.
00:03:55.580 There were terrifying videos out of the United States pretty much for a year about Black Lives Matter and Antifa activists going up just to random people in outdoor cafes and just threatening them and swearing at them and shouting at them.
00:04:11.100 Mainly because they were just white, I think, and that not only felt terrifying, it felt that there was a threat of physical violence there.
00:04:23.540 And those were people who were private citizens.
00:04:25.700 They were not public officials in any way.
00:04:28.060 I found those repellent.
00:04:30.240 I also think that any time you threaten a political figure on the right or the left with some sort of violence, I think that's unacceptable as well.
00:04:39.680 I think of the fact that Rand Paul was beaten so badly his ribs were broken by his Democrat neighbor.
00:04:48.040 Or Steve Scalise was shot by a Democrat activist.
00:04:51.780 So obviously those are extreme examples.
00:04:53.860 But I think anything that is violent or threatens violence is a no-go.
00:05:00.220 And the final thing I would say is going to a person's personal home, family home, in a way that would intimidate those within the house or dox them in some other way.
00:05:12.380 I don't think that's right.
00:05:14.280 And if they're out with their kids, I think you give politicians a pass.
00:05:19.580 You don't want politicians using their kids as some sort of a human shield.
00:05:23.580 But I don't think that any politician ought to have his minor children.
00:05:28.960 So I'm not talking about Hunter Biden, who's a grown-up.
00:05:31.940 But I'm talking about minor children, children of tender years, let's say that.
00:05:36.120 So those are my general rules.
00:05:38.760 And I'd be interested in what you think about them.
00:05:40.740 Because I want to show you two videos that test that theory in real life.
00:05:44.120 The first was actually about a month ago in Calgary.
00:05:48.540 And it was against their abusive, law-breaking, lockdown-cheating health minister named Tyler Shandro,
00:05:55.860 the one who specifically ordered all the pastors thrown in prison.
00:06:00.100 And then he himself was later caught breaking the lockdown rules at the Sky Palace dinner party with expensive booze.
00:06:06.740 So his name is Tyler Shandro.
00:06:08.220 I think he's just truly one of the most awful politicians in all of Canada.
00:06:11.920 He's personally responsible.
00:06:14.460 I mean, he's a militant atheist, which normally I wouldn't comment on.
00:06:17.620 I wouldn't think it's interesting.
00:06:19.060 Other than he has led the charge against these Christian pastors.
00:06:22.160 And I think he's got some personal vendetta that he's acting out.
00:06:24.860 It's pretty weird.
00:06:28.260 So someone saw him and his family at some, I think it was a Canada Day event.
00:06:34.080 And he had been hiding in government buildings and hiding at the Sky Palace.
00:06:38.540 So this was one of the first times he was in public.
00:06:41.060 And, of course, he had banned gatherings.
00:06:42.780 So he wanted to go out with his family.
00:06:44.860 And someone saw him.
00:06:46.220 And I just want to play.
00:06:46.860 Do we have that clip handy?
00:06:48.200 So here's Tyler Shandro about a month ago.
00:06:50.120 And I'm going to come back to the John Tory example that I showed you a second of.
00:06:53.480 So stay with me.
00:06:54.220 I want to show you the Tyler Shandro example from Calgary.
00:06:57.080 I'm going to talk about that for a minute.
00:06:58.560 And I'm going to show you what happened a couple of days ago in Toronto when John Tory.
00:07:03.100 And, again, I always want to say Canada's worst mayor.
00:07:05.900 But then immediately people bring up other mayors.
00:07:08.560 And I think, yeah, you've got a point there.
00:07:10.400 So he's one of Canada's worst mayors.
00:07:11.940 He's tied in first place for Canada's worst mayor.
00:07:14.080 I'll come to that video in a moment.
00:07:15.720 So here's Tyler Shandro being accosted in public.
00:07:19.460 He's the lockdown architect of Alberta.
00:07:22.900 And here's a person giving him an earful.
00:07:25.140 I don't have any audio.
00:07:31.540 Get any audio?
00:07:32.140 Yeah.
00:07:55.140 Experimental vaccine?
00:07:56.420 Yeah.
00:07:56.660 Why are you giving people an unsafe, unapproved experimental vaccine?
00:08:04.760 Criminal!
00:08:06.160 Lock Shandro up!
00:08:07.980 Lock Shandro up!
00:08:09.900 Lock Shandro up!
00:08:11.920 Lock Shandro up!
00:08:14.040 Lock Shandro up!
00:08:16.060 Lock Shandro up!
00:08:18.740 What do you got to say to all the thousands of businesses you've destroyed,
00:08:24.340 Mr. Shandro?
00:08:26.000 What do you got to say to all the Albertans whose lives you've destroyed?
00:08:30.540 You've destroyed thousands and thousands of Albertans' businesses and lives
00:08:34.820 with your lies.
00:08:36.620 What do you have to say?
00:08:39.100 You're going to prison, Tyler.
00:08:41.820 You're going to prison.
00:08:44.280 You're going to prison, Shandro.
00:08:46.040 Right here, guys.
00:08:53.160 We got a war criminal right here in Alberta, Calgary, Alberta.
00:08:58.000 A war criminal.
00:09:06.020 What do you have to say to all the people whose lives you've destroyed?
00:09:09.400 Hmm?
00:09:09.980 What do you have to say?
00:09:10.920 What do you have to say?
00:09:10.940 What do you have to say?
00:09:10.960 Tyler, how do you feel about Kevin J. Johnson being a political prisoner?
00:09:20.960 Why did AHS and the government throw it out?
00:09:23.360 Why did AHS and the government throw out the case?
00:09:26.060 These guys are...
00:09:27.000 What do you think of that?
00:09:47.460 I missed the audio of the first part, but Justin, correct me if I'm wrong.
00:09:50.500 Let me just say a few things that did not happen there.
00:09:53.180 I don't think there was any threat of violence, was there?
00:09:56.600 No.
00:09:57.280 I didn't hear any swearing, did you?
00:10:00.220 No, I didn't.
00:10:03.220 There was no physical touching.
00:10:05.300 There was no threat of physical touching.
00:10:08.380 So really what we had there was words.
00:10:13.180 And some of the words were, I think, a little bit overheated.
00:10:17.260 Your father is a war criminal.
00:10:18.700 Well, when I talked about this video when it first came out, I said, he's not a war criminal.
00:10:23.600 There's no war.
00:10:24.520 War crimes are a very specific accusation.
00:10:28.200 I think he meant to say crimes against humanity, which he said at another point in time.
00:10:32.220 Again, I think that's probably overly dramatic.
00:10:35.080 But it's an opinion.
00:10:39.140 Lock him up.
00:10:40.420 Lock Shandro up.
00:10:41.900 You know, that's a fun chant that Donald Trump's supporters really started five years ago about Hillary Clinton.
00:10:50.020 And people say, oh, that's overheated.
00:10:52.300 Well, it's an expression that, a belief that the person in power has done something criminal.
00:11:02.000 And occasionally that does happen.
00:11:03.640 And I'll just give you the obvious example of Chicago, where, you know, pretty much every single governor of that state going back years has, in fact, been locked up.
00:11:13.380 I think of Rod Blagojevich, who went to prison.
00:11:16.500 So you do occasionally lock politicians up.
00:11:18.980 And it's a bit of a chant.
00:11:19.860 It's not, it doesn't mean we're going to grab them and falsely imprison them.
00:11:23.080 It's a way of saying, you're so bad.
00:11:26.180 We want you prosecuted, convicted, sentenced, and jailed.
00:11:30.140 And, and I think that might be overheated.
00:11:36.260 But it's saved in some way by the fact that Shandro was locking other people down in his lockdown and locking other people up.
00:11:47.580 Three, I think it might even be four Christian pastors in Alberta.
00:11:50.920 Pastor James Coates from Grace Life.
00:11:56.160 Pastor Arthur Pavlovsky and his brother David Pavlovsky.
00:11:58.920 So I guess we're at three.
00:11:59.720 Tim Stevens is four.
00:12:01.320 And I think, I'd have to check if there was a fifth pastor from Calgary who, maybe he's just being charged.
00:12:07.080 I don't know if he's done jail time yet.
00:12:09.140 So saying lock Shandro up, well, it's what he's doing to other people who have not committed crimes.
00:12:15.320 So there's actually, I think, more, I would grant more leeway to someone chanting that because lockdowns and lockups have been happening at the hands of Shandro.
00:12:27.920 You've destroyed businesses.
00:12:29.580 You've destroyed lives.
00:12:30.740 You're going to prison.
00:12:33.240 My one beef with that interaction was that there was kids right there.
00:12:39.200 And it was that sort of a family kind of thing.
00:12:44.460 So saying, your father is a war criminal.
00:12:47.860 Again, I think legally that's not true.
00:12:49.720 I would say it's probably, you know, just a heartfelt opinion.
00:12:53.040 But my one beef with what we saw there was that the kids were brought into it.
00:12:58.480 And the kids were handed off to strangers fairly soon there.
00:13:01.520 But let me conclude with what I saw in Calgary there.
00:13:05.760 Don't bring the kids into it.
00:13:07.520 Don't drag the kids into it.
00:13:09.320 And if the spouse is not a political spouse, like Jill Biden, Joe Biden's wife, and really the de facto president in a number of ways, she's very much at the heart of the government.
00:13:21.120 So she's fair game.
00:13:22.600 Melania, less so.
00:13:23.640 She really just did a few first lady-ish things.
00:13:26.200 But she was not, you know, she was not a surrogate for the president in any substantial ways.
00:13:31.260 Barron Trump, again, obviously completely private citizen.
00:13:34.320 So I would say leave the kids out of it.
00:13:38.020 Leave the spouses out of it if they're not involved in politics.
00:13:42.400 But my conclusion of that Calgary event, and I'm going to come to the Toronto event in a moment.
00:13:46.360 But the Calgary event, it was a public event.
00:13:49.420 It was right after the lockdowns.
00:13:51.460 It's while, actually I think that was recorded, there were still pastors in prison.
00:13:55.220 And other than heckling the kid, which I don't think was right, really it was just someone's hot opinions that I believe were truly held by that person.
00:14:05.920 I don't think politicians should be immune from being heckled, even annoying heckles, even ones that may not be true or perfectly accurate.
00:14:15.600 Yeah, you're a political leader, one of the most powerful cabinet ministers in the province.
00:14:20.560 You abused your power in a number of ways.
00:14:23.540 You violated norms of society, including civil liberties.
00:14:27.100 Yeah, part of our democratic system is that ordinary people get to say mean things to you.
00:14:35.240 It's actually our civil right.
00:14:36.920 There is no right not to be offended, but we have a wonderful right to be offended.
00:14:40.860 And that heckler was offended.
00:14:42.780 And free speech gives him the right to speak out.
00:14:45.260 He didn't swear.
00:14:46.040 He didn't threaten.
00:14:46.960 There was no physical violence or threat of it.
00:14:49.720 So other than the kid's part, I give that a it's fair.
00:14:53.260 I don't think I would have had the same approach, but I think that and so my advice, I remember I said this on the show about a month ago to Tyler Shander was expect more of this if you show your face in an uncontrolled environment.
00:15:09.400 I mean, he has he has since been very careful to vet anyone who comes in contact with him.
00:15:14.320 He sort of got that bunker mentality because so many people hate him on the left and the right.
00:15:18.480 But that's the price you pay for doing wildly unpopular things that I think are immoral.
00:15:25.520 So I really don't have a lot of sympathy for Shander other than for his kids.
00:15:29.500 There you go.
00:15:30.680 That was what I said three weeks ago.
00:15:33.160 I think that was on Canada Day.
00:15:34.900 Now I'd like to show you something that I think was over the weekend.
00:15:37.840 I'm not sure the exact date of it.
00:15:39.000 And I don't know who was filming this, but this is Mayor John Tory at some outdoor patio.
00:15:50.520 And Tory has had a very particular war against restaurants.
00:15:55.160 You might recall that he was the one who sent 100 police to raid a barbecue restaurant called Adamson's Barbecue.
00:16:05.700 Adam Skelling.
00:16:08.460 Riot squad, riot horses, 50 police cars.
00:16:13.200 Like just a complete shock and awe, abusive, dangerous raid with no policing justification.
00:16:22.500 War on restaurants.
00:16:24.920 Can you type in BBC lockdown Toronto?
00:16:30.840 Toronto's had the longest lockdown of any city in the world.
00:16:33.740 It's hard to believe.
00:16:35.740 You'd think maybe some place in China would.
00:16:37.540 Are you kidding?
00:16:38.300 They had the shortest lockdowns.
00:16:40.620 How about some place where the disease was the worst?
00:16:43.900 Here, look at this BBC story.
00:16:46.480 Toronto lockdown, one of the world's longest.
00:16:48.540 They ask it as a question, but they actually, in the story, they prove it.
00:16:53.240 So we're making international news for being the worst place in the world.
00:16:57.000 And so the restaurant's finally opened, like I think on Friday night or something.
00:17:03.640 And I went out to an Italian restaurant in my neighborhood.
00:17:06.160 And the weird thing, Justin, I think I told you this.
00:17:08.140 I was the only person in the restaurant.
00:17:10.200 Like it wasn't, like it's an old, you know, established restaurant.
00:17:13.980 Everybody knows that it's in the restaurant.
00:17:15.740 It's like 30 years old and it's got good food and it's not super expensive.
00:17:20.200 And it's, you know, it's very, like it's a good restaurant.
00:17:23.460 It's not like a takeout joint or something.
00:17:25.980 It's a real restaurant.
00:17:28.500 And I've been looking forward to going there for a long time.
00:17:30.800 I go there.
00:17:31.660 I'm literally the only person in the entire restaurant.
00:17:34.240 I wasn't there at some weird hour.
00:17:35.720 I couldn't quite understand it.
00:17:37.540 When I left, there was one person on the patio outside.
00:17:39.900 I don't know what's going on.
00:17:41.100 I think Torontonians and Ontarians and to an extent Canadians everywhere have been conditioned
00:17:48.180 like a prisoner that's in prison for so long.
00:17:51.720 When you open the prison cell door and say you can go now, some people say, no, I'm sort
00:17:59.360 of comfy in here.
00:18:00.360 I know I've got my 10 feet by 10 feet and I know where my stuff is and I'm sort of used
00:18:06.160 to the routines now and I've psychologically accommodated myself to this.
00:18:10.300 It's a form of Stockholm Syndrome.
00:18:13.080 And by the way, that happens in real life.
00:18:14.740 Some people don't want to leave prison.
00:18:16.860 When the terms, I've ever heard that, Justin, it's a phenomenon.
00:18:19.300 Some people don't want to, especially if they've been in for literally decades, they don't
00:18:23.540 know how to leave.
00:18:24.400 In fact, there are cases of people committing crimes just to go back into prison.
00:18:28.060 I know that sounds outlandish and impossible.
00:18:30.220 That is a form of psychological conditioning.
00:18:33.320 Stockholm Syndrome is another manifestation of it.
00:18:35.800 I couldn't believe that this restaurant wasn't packed.
00:18:38.600 I would have thought surely all its customers would be happy to, no, it was empty.
00:18:43.820 So, enough talk about the disaster that has befallen Toronto.
00:18:49.020 And by the way, none of that was at the hands of the virus.
00:18:51.340 That was at the hands of politicians, including this man who has the audacity to go out and
00:18:56.300 sit on a public patio so the whole world can see him.
00:18:58.960 Well, guess what?
00:18:59.440 The whole world did see him, including one guy who wasn't pleased about it.
00:19:02.360 Here, roll the tape and I'm going to let this go for about a minute and a half or two
00:19:05.540 minutes.
00:19:06.100 This whole video, I think, is seven minutes long.
00:19:08.320 I'm not going to play all seven minutes, but I want to play some of it so you get the feeling
00:19:13.160 for it.
00:19:13.700 And again, it's similar to the Tyler Shandro encounter I just showed you, but I got some
00:19:18.040 different thoughts on this one.
00:19:19.400 Go ahead, roll the clip.
00:19:20.920 Here it is, everyone.
00:19:21.700 It's the man who's destroyed every small business in the city, Mr. Torrey.
00:19:26.560 How's it going?
00:19:27.700 All right.
00:19:28.280 Thank you very much.
00:19:29.440 So, how do you feel being here, knowing that you've destroyed every small business?
00:19:34.000 Don't you feel guilty being here in public, knowing that all these people here have been
00:19:39.160 affected by your draconian measures?
00:19:40.840 Do you have anything to say about that?
00:19:42.020 All the people here tonight, we're just having dinner, but the people here tonight have actually
00:19:45.140 said that this program that's put all these extra patio seats out here is something they
00:19:48.780 really welcome, and they're very enthusiastic about it.
00:19:51.260 How do you feel that you've destroyed?
00:19:53.060 How many families have you destroyed?
00:19:54.900 How many children's, how much child mental health have you destroyed?
00:19:58.540 How many businesses have you destroyed from your policies?
00:20:01.120 Do you feel any guilt or regret for what you've done to this city?
00:20:05.400 Do you feel any guilt or regret for what you've done?
00:20:07.800 I feel very badly, but I feel even worse about the 4,000 people in Toronto that died from
00:20:11.800 COVID-19, and we saved lives.
00:20:13.920 How many families have been affected by your draconian policies?
00:20:17.420 How many children are suffering?
00:20:19.260 How many drug overdoses, how many suicides have been done from your draconian measures?
00:20:25.840 You and Eileen Davila, you're responsible for destroying this city.
00:20:29.420 Do you feel any guilt?
00:20:31.140 Not at all.
00:20:31.540 Any guilt at all?
00:20:32.720 Excuse me, sir.
00:20:33.960 Excuse me, sir.
00:20:36.580 Excuse me, sir.
00:20:37.460 How do you feel that you're worse?
00:20:39.100 The worst mayor.
00:20:40.840 Yeah, boo, boo, boo him for destroying this city.
00:20:43.600 No, boo you.
00:20:44.680 Get out of here.
00:20:45.500 How do you feel that you are a worse mayor than a crackhead?
00:20:48.540 You are a worse mayor than our previous crackhead mayor.
00:20:51.280 How does it feel to be the worst mayor that Toronto's ever seen?
00:20:53.900 No problem.
00:20:54.420 How many children have been vaccinated?
00:20:56.180 Why are you putting a mask on?
00:20:57.000 Now you want to put in vaccine passports?
00:20:59.940 You want to destroy the city even more, huh?
00:21:04.720 Why are you making little children get vaccinated?
00:21:07.200 How many of them died of COVID?
00:21:09.200 How can you show your face?
00:21:11.120 How many businesses have you destroyed?
00:21:13.580 We're the longest lockdown city in the world.
00:21:16.240 In the world.
00:21:17.480 How many businesses have you destroyed?
00:21:19.260 Do you feel any guilt for what you have done?
00:21:21.560 Anything.
00:21:22.500 Okay, get the guy away.
00:21:24.060 He's eating dinner peacefully.
00:21:25.460 Oh, man.
00:21:26.060 They don't have dinner.
00:21:26.680 They want to leave our lives.
00:21:27.700 No.
00:21:28.380 Why doesn't he leave us alone?
00:21:30.680 Why doesn't he leave us alone?
00:21:31.920 He's responsible for destroying our lives.
00:21:34.280 No, he's not.
00:21:34.820 He's not destroying our lives.
00:21:35.440 He has created so much depression.
00:21:37.640 Let him eat dinner.
00:21:38.100 So many human beings.
00:21:39.000 He's broken up so many families.
00:21:40.880 Okay, do me a favor.
00:21:42.540 He doesn't care about anybody.
00:21:44.220 Okay.
00:21:44.880 That's your opinion.
00:21:45.960 You can take my picture all you want.
00:21:48.160 Okay.
00:21:48.380 Go to City Hall and tell us this when he's at work.
00:21:50.500 Don't complain there.
00:21:51.140 That's what his wife's having dinner.
00:21:52.520 He's having dinner.
00:21:53.800 He's having dinner.
00:21:54.580 I don't care.
00:21:55.260 I do.
00:21:55.600 I don't care.
00:21:56.360 I do.
00:21:56.920 Go to City Hall.
00:21:58.160 Go to City Hall.
00:21:59.500 Go to City Hall and deal with it.
00:22:00.940 Go to City Hall and deal with it.
00:22:02.840 You'd be best to carry on.
00:22:07.860 Trust me.
00:22:08.520 How can you guys serve this man that has destroyed your restaurant?
00:22:12.340 Okay.
00:22:12.600 You sucked into all your profits.
00:22:14.220 Next time you have dinner, I'm going to come and do this to you.
00:22:16.240 Okay, go.
00:22:16.900 You fucking pieces of shit.
00:22:18.080 Okay, give the guy a break.
00:22:20.760 You're making a huge error right now.
00:22:22.980 No, you want to hate him.
00:22:24.080 He should be held accountable for his horrible...
00:22:25.760 He's destroying the city.
00:22:27.100 He's destroying the city.
00:22:28.140 He's destroying children's lives.
00:22:29.140 Oh, I know.
00:22:29.680 He's brainwashing little children.
00:22:31.380 How many children died of COVID?
00:22:33.380 Okay, you've got to back off.
00:22:34.760 No, I'm not going to back off.
00:22:35.980 This is our city.
00:22:37.440 This is our city.
00:22:38.480 Okay, right now you're not doing a smart thing.
00:22:40.340 I'm paying tax to this fucking clown.
00:22:42.280 You're paying tax.
00:22:42.880 Do you think this is...
00:22:43.480 I'm paying tax for this clown.
00:22:45.120 Yeah, this is not smart.
00:22:46.340 He's having his...
00:22:46.840 I have it right here.
00:22:48.120 No, we don't have freedom of speech.
00:22:50.020 Are you making a risk for people for protesting?
00:22:52.920 Leave the guy alone.
00:22:53.460 He's responsible because people were protesting.
00:22:56.920 Call the cops.
00:22:57.600 Call the cops on us.
00:22:58.500 He was protesting and he asked the...
00:23:00.640 Is this the best thing you have to do in your life?
00:23:02.540 Is this what you want to do in your life?
00:23:04.480 Do...
00:23:04.920 Come on, seriously.
00:23:06.000 He's destroyed my...
00:23:06.760 This man has destroyed my life.
00:23:08.180 This guy has destroyed...
00:23:09.640 This man has destroyed my life.
00:23:11.600 This is not the...
00:23:12.720 How do you destroy your life?
00:23:14.120 All these lockdowns have killed...
00:23:15.800 Have caused so much disruption.
00:23:17.420 It's destroyed my family.
00:23:19.520 Give us a break.
00:23:20.200 Please, this is not a place to talk.
00:23:21.540 It's embarrassing.
00:23:22.160 Come on.
00:23:22.680 Why don't you answer?
00:23:23.680 It's embarrassing that you don't see what's happening in the city
00:23:26.420 and we're still locked down.
00:23:27.600 You don't see what's happening in the city?
00:23:29.320 You're embarrassing yourself.
00:23:31.680 Okay, good.
00:23:32.380 He's allowed to have dinner.
00:23:33.840 No, he's not.
00:23:34.660 He shouldn't be.
00:23:35.220 He shouldn't be allowed to have dinner.
00:23:36.680 You should be ashamed of him.
00:23:38.080 He's showing his face in public like everything is fine.
00:23:41.580 You'd be best to stay away.
00:23:44.880 Why don't we all support you?
00:23:46.380 You can leave now.
00:23:48.200 Well, I'll bother anyone if Doug Ford was here.
00:23:50.540 I'll tell him the same thing.
00:23:51.800 The guy who supported these draconian, unscientific measures.
00:23:55.840 These are completely unscientific.
00:23:58.180 Lockdowns don't work.
00:23:59.320 Hey, hey, we're on top of the queue.
00:24:02.240 Why do you stop us?
00:24:02.580 Why do we keep going back to the fourth wave now?
00:24:05.260 What about the booster shot you're talking about?
00:24:07.020 Florida has been open for the last year and you still want to lock us down.
00:24:10.500 How many times are you going to get vaccinated?
00:24:13.340 Now you've got to end.
00:24:14.580 Are you going to lock us down again in the fall?
00:24:17.000 Just tell us now.
00:24:18.040 Be honest.
00:24:18.400 Are you going to lock us down again in the fall and are you going to blame the unvaccinated?
00:24:21.180 It's not his decision.
00:24:21.800 Are you going to lock us up at the end?
00:24:22.640 It is his decision.
00:24:23.620 It's absolutely his decision.
00:24:25.140 He took it in his power.
00:24:27.220 Him and Eileen DeVille took it within his power to lock down this city.
00:24:31.140 You're ruining everyone's dinners here.
00:24:34.340 Can you just leave?
00:24:35.180 I don't want to.
00:24:35.480 This guy has ruined so many lives.
00:24:38.180 How many lives has he ruined?
00:24:39.620 How many fucking children are suffering because of his policies?
00:24:43.560 Closing schools?
00:24:44.780 How many children are depressed?
00:24:45.860 How many drug overdoses?
00:24:47.740 How many suicides?
00:24:48.980 How many suicides?
00:24:49.040 Why don't you run for office and we'll see if you get elected?
00:24:54.240 No, no, no, no.
00:24:55.100 Look at me.
00:24:55.960 Why don't you run for office and see if you get elected?
00:24:59.960 Yeah.
00:25:00.660 On your stand and see if these people want you.
00:25:04.740 Hey, you're ruining our dinner, if you don't mind.
00:25:06.620 Okay, that's all, that's all.
00:25:09.140 How many lives have this man ruined?
00:25:11.140 Hey, how many lives are you ruining right now?
00:25:12.760 Oh, I'm ruining lives by being here.
00:25:14.320 Yeah, I'm really ruining your life.
00:25:15.860 You are.
00:25:16.580 You don't think this guy should be held accountable for what he's done?
00:25:19.000 No, I think he's done a fantastic job.
00:25:20.580 Yeah, he's done a fantastic job.
00:25:21.500 He's done a fantastic job.
00:25:25.640 Then write an email.
00:25:27.020 You want to be effective?
00:25:28.100 Don't do it here on the street.
00:25:29.600 Please don't disturb us.
00:25:30.500 Yeah, I'll write an email.
00:25:31.360 That's going to go far.
00:25:32.360 This is not going to go anywhere either.
00:25:34.100 This is our street.
00:25:35.400 Right?
00:25:35.620 Yes, my street.
00:25:36.660 John, do you want to do it?
00:25:37.660 Just block it.
00:25:38.320 Just block it.
00:25:38.900 Block it.
00:25:39.440 No, no.
00:25:39.900 Do you want to impose vaccine passports?
00:25:42.080 Just get rid of those guys.
00:25:42.840 Okay.
00:25:43.940 Why do you want to impose vaccine passports?
00:25:46.000 Do you think that's going to divide society even more?
00:25:49.300 If you're vaccinated, you're protected.
00:25:51.180 Guys, please.
00:25:51.560 Why are you going to impose vaccine passports?
00:25:53.860 Guys, right now, I'll make it.
00:25:55.280 You are a tyrant.
00:25:56.420 You are a tyrant.
00:25:57.360 And what are you?
00:25:58.100 You're ruining our dinner.
00:25:59.860 And what are you?
00:26:00.400 You should be ashamed.
00:26:01.300 You're ruining our dinner.
00:26:01.780 Showing your face in public, you should be ashamed.
00:26:03.960 What about you?
00:26:04.440 Let's put it on video.
00:26:05.260 Let's put it on video.
00:26:06.300 Let's put it on video.
00:26:06.800 Let's put it on video.
00:26:07.020 Now you're falling into it.
00:26:08.260 I don't know.
00:26:08.860 It's good.
00:26:09.460 You have no idea.
00:26:10.540 Shame on you.
00:26:11.780 Shame on you.
00:26:12.680 Shame.
00:26:13.100 Anybody up by the end of September?
00:26:15.360 How dare you shave your face?
00:26:17.460 How many small businesses have you destroyed?
00:26:20.300 How many small businesses have you destroyed?
00:26:21.300 How many small businesses have you destroyed?
00:26:22.360 All right, guys.
00:26:23.780 Wall Street isn't huge.
00:26:24.860 What do you think of that?
00:26:27.540 You know what?
00:26:29.740 That's actually riveting TV, I've got to tell you.
00:26:34.240 I didn't think I was, what was that, about seven minutes?
00:26:36.940 How long was that?
00:26:37.680 Seven minutes?
00:26:38.280 How many views on the original YouTube?
00:26:40.840 I actually saw this on a lot of other social media.
00:26:44.020 I saw it on Twitter.
00:26:45.120 I think I saw it on Instagram video.
00:26:46.920 How many folks have watched it on the YouTube platform there?
00:26:51.940 I don't know the answer.
00:26:54.440 And that's not even, most people would have seen it on these other social media.
00:26:57.520 But I saw that make the rounds.
00:27:01.160 In fact, Brian Lilly, the disgraced reporter who left Rebel News and now works for John
00:27:09.440 Torrey's Toronto Sun, he's a terrible journalist.
00:27:13.680 He sleeps with Doug Ford's press aide.
00:27:17.540 So if you're wondering why Brian Lilly's reportage is so supportive of Doug Ford, that might be a
00:27:25.420 tiny reason.
00:27:26.140 And so it's not surprising to see him fluff for John Torrey.
00:27:32.080 Can you put up Brian Lilly's article or that tweet?
00:27:34.800 Yeah.
00:27:35.400 Let John Torrey and other politicians have a private life.
00:27:38.820 I think that's called projection.
00:27:41.340 Brian Lilly was embarrassed when his sexual relationship with Doug Ford's press assistant
00:27:46.180 was revealed because how can you be sleeping with Doug Ford's press secretary and not disclose
00:27:54.300 that when you're the lead reporter for the Toronto Sun about Doug Ford?
00:27:59.420 Like, how can you not disclose that?
00:28:02.760 So I think that that's in the mind of Brian Lilly, and I think also the Toronto Sun really obeys
00:28:08.600 John Torrey.
00:28:09.940 But his argument is, let politicians have dinner and don't bug them.
00:28:19.500 Let John Torrey and other politicians have a private life.
00:28:22.800 Now, I agree with a private life.
00:28:26.520 But when you are sitting in a public street, publicly visible to the public walking by,
00:28:35.860 and when you yourself have issued public edicts that not only limit people's public lives,
00:28:43.140 but they're private lives, too, I think the line moves a little bit.
00:28:49.720 And I would say there's two differences between this and the Tyler Shandro video.
00:28:54.760 The first is that there were no kids involved.
00:28:58.400 There was no kids shown on screen there at all.
00:29:02.500 I don't even know if that's a bar where kids are allowed because I saw some alcohol.
00:29:06.840 So that kids thing doesn't apply, and this isn't a private home.
00:29:13.040 It's not a private thing.
00:29:15.920 Now, his wife was with him, but I don't think that's a mitigating factor.
00:29:22.000 She was not brought into the conversation at all.
00:29:25.140 I think that what you saw here is actually the first time there's been a real debate,
00:29:37.600 a real opposition to lockdownism in Toronto in 18 months.
00:29:42.660 Every single governing body in Canada, every city hall, every provincial legislature,
00:29:50.820 the federal parliament, it's all been unanimous.
00:29:55.140 Even though it's not unanimous with the people,
00:29:58.080 there is no governing party or opposition party that's opposed to the lockdowns.
00:30:02.720 There's no College of Physicians and Surgeons.
00:30:05.680 There's no media outlet that's opposed to the lockdowns in any essential way.
00:30:10.560 No court has ever ruled against them.
00:30:12.620 No pop culture icon has come out against them.
00:30:17.180 No institution of many, no civil liberties association,
00:30:20.300 other than the Justice Center and ourselves, have come out against them.
00:30:23.100 And my point is, for a year and a half, no one had a chance to debate things.
00:30:29.280 Certainly not on social media, where they'll silence you, suspend you, block you,
00:30:33.140 if you have the wrong views on these things.
00:30:35.280 So I think what happened here is, for the first time in a year and a half,
00:30:39.300 now, patios have been open with some limits in Ontario for a little bit longer.
00:30:43.500 But like I say, restaurants themselves have only really been open for three days now, four days.
00:30:47.840 So I think what happened is someone who had a lot to say and who was upset by the lockdowns
00:30:55.540 and who claims that they've been hurt by the lockdowns, and I believe it,
00:30:59.440 for the first time ever had a chance to talk back to power.
00:31:04.640 Because there has been no meaningful debate in any legislature.
00:31:09.100 There has been no meaningful opposition.
00:31:12.060 There has been no reality check on the lockdownist politicians,
00:31:16.800 because all they hear in the Toronto Star and Brian Lilly and his mistress in the Tory party,
00:31:29.340 all they've had is official media.
00:31:31.780 And so a regular guy with a camera has a chance to accost John Tory.
00:31:37.360 It's like a year and a half of pent-up democracy had to come out in that one moment.
00:31:42.520 My favorite line was that one guy who says,
00:31:47.400 you want to be effective?
00:31:49.620 Write an email.
00:31:51.400 Ah, yes.
00:31:52.780 Writing an email to a politician.
00:31:55.240 That'll change them.
00:31:56.440 Now, I will acknowledge that that seven-minute video, which was noisy.
00:32:04.020 I think there was a second guy who swore.
00:32:05.800 I think I heard a swear once.
00:32:07.800 And maybe the first guy, I couldn't quite hear.
00:32:09.900 He may have sworn once.
00:32:11.460 I said, yeah, people were swearing at them, that's for sure.
00:32:16.180 They said, you're ruining our dinner.
00:32:19.340 And I think the whole time of this entire encounter was about seven minutes, maybe eight minutes.
00:32:23.720 So I don't know if I would say that's ruining the dinner.
00:32:27.000 It's certainly interrupting, and it's causing a scene.
00:32:30.780 And, you know, a cop might even say you're causing a disturbance.
00:32:35.480 And I think that there should be some public order laws.
00:32:40.040 I think there should be.
00:32:41.260 Like, let's say that patio, let's say instead of an angry citizen,
00:32:45.640 let's say you had a drunk hobo who was just shouting swears at people.
00:32:50.720 Should police be able to move him along?
00:32:53.720 I think probably.
00:32:55.880 But I don't think that this is in the same category as a drunk hobo.
00:32:59.820 I think there was maybe one or two swears directed to the mayor in the seven-minute interaction.
00:33:05.540 There are many more swears pushing back.
00:33:07.800 And the other side came out on the street and had a debate.
00:33:10.060 Like, I think that guy in the pink shirt, I think he was the proprietor.
00:33:12.560 At least it felt that way.
00:33:13.500 So he was having a debate.
00:33:18.660 Go to City Hall was some advice.
00:33:20.780 Oh, well, you know, that's a good idea, but City Hall's closed.
00:33:24.420 I remember last year when we went to City Hall, security and police told us to get out.
00:33:29.080 I thought there were some funny lines.
00:33:35.420 You're worse than the crackhead mayor.
00:33:37.060 He was referring to Rob Ford.
00:33:38.800 I thought that was sort of funny.
00:33:39.780 There was some booing of the interrogator because I think that's Yorkville, which there's Yorkdale in Toronto, which is like a huge mall.
00:33:51.920 I think it's the largest mall in Canada, the 401 Highway and Allen Road.
00:33:56.660 It's a very large mall.
00:33:58.020 So they call it Yorkdale.
00:33:59.000 But there's a really fancy neighborhood, I don't know my streets, Bloor and something, called Yorkdale.
00:34:07.180 Some of the fanciest shops, fanciest restaurants in the whole city.
00:34:10.980 So the people there are most likely the lockdown class.
00:34:16.200 They haven't missed a paycheck.
00:34:17.420 Maybe they've gotten rich over the lockdown.
00:34:20.300 They're the kind of folks who can work from home on Zoom.
00:34:23.460 And, you know, the mayor himself is worth probably $50 million to $100 million.
00:34:27.680 I know his family has four houses in that big Palm Beach compound.
00:34:32.540 You know, starting price is $10 million a house.
00:34:34.440 So he's extremely rich.
00:34:36.260 He's not just sort of rich.
00:34:37.960 He's not a billionaire, but he's probably the richest mayor in Toronto history.
00:34:43.060 So that's his class.
00:34:45.880 They don't understand some grubby guy on the street asking questions of the mayor.
00:34:50.400 Now, to the mayor's credit, he actually engaged for about a minute with some answers.
00:35:01.420 He said, well, we put out extra patio seats.
00:35:04.260 Restaurants love me.
00:35:05.740 Sure, I shut down them, but I let them have bigger patios.
00:35:09.160 Oh, yeah.
00:35:09.900 You really were a saint.
00:35:12.280 The guy said, how do you feel about all the people who died because of the lockdown?
00:35:17.840 He said he feels worse for those who died from COVID.
00:35:21.800 All right, so he had some talking points.
00:35:23.220 Listen, I'll give John Tory credit.
00:35:25.100 He actually talked to the guy for a minute before the guy was swarmed by staff.
00:35:32.680 Go to City Hall.
00:35:34.280 You're making a huge error.
00:35:35.600 I don't think the guy on the street made a huge error.
00:35:38.000 In fact, I think it was the most effective criticism of John Tory.
00:35:43.080 Like the guy in Calgary who maybe needed more than one message.
00:35:46.880 The thing about the Calgary guy, he just kept saying crimes against humanity.
00:35:50.200 Like he wasn't really prepared for it.
00:35:52.780 I think it was an accident that he bumped into Tyler Shandro, and he didn't have a ton of things to say.
00:35:56.600 He's not a professional wordsmith.
00:35:58.340 Politicians never run out of things to say, but ordinary citizens who encounter them by chance,
00:36:02.700 maybe they're not ready to go five minutes or seven minutes straight.
00:36:06.520 They run out of things to say.
00:36:07.980 I think that was evident in the Tyler Shandro interaction, and maybe that was the same here.
00:36:11.980 The guy who heckled Tory was not the most eloquent.
00:36:15.200 He wasn't Cicero.
00:36:16.720 But I think he made...
00:36:17.580 And let me say this.
00:36:18.920 Justin, what do you think?
00:36:20.640 I think that was the most...
00:36:22.160 I'm not saying it was the smartest criticism, the most effective in terms of arguments or rationale or facts,
00:36:29.120 but I think that was the most opposition John Tory has received in a year and a half.
00:36:35.020 I'm not saying it was perfect.
00:36:36.720 I'm not saying it was even all correct.
00:36:39.860 But John Tory has been living in a bubble.
00:36:42.780 The bubble of his condo.
00:36:44.180 The bubble of wherever he hangs out.
00:36:47.220 You know, he has been insulated from any disagreement.
00:36:51.740 And everyone was shocked that someone would dare agree,
00:36:55.120 because they've never been exposed to the other point of view.
00:36:57.840 Democracy has failed.
00:37:00.660 And so Shandro and John Tory are...
00:37:03.540 I think they actually are shocked that anyone would be so mad at them,
00:37:06.480 because they're surrounded by yes-men all the time.
00:37:12.440 I'm just looking at my other notes.
00:37:14.900 You know, I think the restauranteur said,
00:37:16.480 is this what you want to do with your life?
00:37:18.260 Well, I think that we just had 18 months of lockdown,
00:37:25.620 where very few of us were allowed to do with our lives what we wanted,
00:37:29.800 in part because of John Tory.
00:37:33.800 I don't know if you heard,
00:37:35.580 will there be another lockdown in the fall?
00:37:38.800 That's a great question.
00:37:40.060 And go back to Sheila's tweet.
00:37:43.540 Did I send you Sheila's tweet?
00:37:45.420 So Sheila responded to Brian Lilly's article in the Toronto Sun.
00:37:50.520 And I don't know why they don't put a disclaimer
00:37:52.260 that Brian Lilly's sleeping with Doug Ford's press secretary.
00:37:55.720 Like, how is that not relevant to everything he writes?
00:37:58.600 You can't trust Brian Lilly.
00:38:00.760 His wife and five kids know that.
00:38:03.340 So here's what Sheila wrote.
00:38:07.480 If people now have to tell bouncers in a bar
00:38:10.660 if they've been vaccinated,
00:38:13.160 then this is a world without privacy.
00:38:15.720 And it's been made that way by politicians.
00:38:18.600 As such, people will act accordingly.
00:38:21.180 It's a consequence of the world Tory wants.
00:38:24.220 Don't like it, but I don't make the rules.
00:38:27.680 That is a very perceptive tweet by Sheila.
00:38:33.340 And for the last year and a half,
00:38:35.480 we've allowed the government to tell us incredible things.
00:38:39.000 Like, can we meet with our extended family?
00:38:41.760 Can we go out of our house for reasons that are not essential?
00:38:44.960 Hang on, it's essential to me.
00:38:46.360 Oh, no, no, no, no.
00:38:47.660 John Tory and the people on that patio
00:38:49.380 will decide what's essential or not.
00:38:51.440 So for a year and a half,
00:38:53.460 our public and private decisions
00:38:55.620 have been made the business of the state.
00:38:58.000 And now, as Sheila correctly points out,
00:39:00.580 you have to tell some bouncer
00:39:02.020 your private medical history.
00:39:04.600 I think it was Matt Walsh
00:39:05.880 who said the right answer to that is,
00:39:08.160 are you menstruating right now?
00:39:09.900 Like, what a personal medical question.
00:39:12.100 How dare you be such a gross and creepy voyeur?
00:39:15.200 Or Tucker Carlson,
00:39:17.500 when he was asked by some reporter
00:39:18.660 if he was vaccinated,
00:39:20.200 hey, when was the last time you had sex with your wife
00:39:21.960 and what position were you in?
00:39:23.260 Like, that's a shocking thing to ask and to say.
00:39:25.880 But how's that any different from saying,
00:39:28.140 hey, can you tell me a little bit
00:39:29.040 about your private medical history?
00:39:31.220 Can you tell me about what medicines you were taking,
00:39:33.860 what injections you took,
00:39:34.900 and the medical thing?
00:39:36.000 Like, who the hell are you?
00:39:38.020 And now every bouncer, every restaurant,
00:39:41.300 every two-bit nobody
00:39:42.760 who wants to be your boss
00:39:45.980 and your prison guard
00:39:48.060 demands to know your vaccine status.
00:39:50.720 Who the hell are you?
00:39:51.700 So yeah, that's the world we're in right now.
00:39:53.340 So I think the boundary
00:39:55.080 for what's public and private,
00:39:57.120 I don't understand
00:39:57.980 why Tyler Shandro can literally lock up Christian pastors,
00:40:02.780 but you can't chant at him, lock them up.
00:40:05.660 I don't understand why John Tory
00:40:07.840 can literally shut down
00:40:09.640 the great restaurant city of Toronto for a year
00:40:12.260 and then boast,
00:40:14.200 well, I let them have an extra patio
00:40:16.160 and I'm private.
00:40:17.780 Why are you interrupting with my right to dine?
00:40:20.520 Well, you sort of destroyed the right
00:40:23.700 to go to a restaurant
00:40:24.800 and the right for a restaurant
00:40:25.800 to provide service
00:40:26.680 and the right for waiters and waitresses
00:40:27.960 and bartenders to have jobs.
00:40:29.380 You've sort of done that for a year.
00:40:30.900 That's not your power,
00:40:31.860 but you did it anyways
00:40:32.680 and no one stopped you.
00:40:33.640 So it's a little bit late
00:40:35.040 to be so prissy about your privacy
00:40:38.720 when you're not in private.
00:40:40.300 If you want to avoid interacting with the public,
00:40:43.000 if you are someone who has been as tyrannical,
00:40:45.240 give me the B-roll
00:40:46.000 of that raid on Adam Skelly's restaurant.
00:40:49.000 Adam Skelly is a young entrepreneur
00:40:51.740 who thought there wasn't anything wrong
00:40:54.140 with having people who chose to
00:40:55.960 to come to his restaurant
00:40:57.280 to get a smoked brisket sandwich or whatever.
00:41:00.480 And that's not a crime, by the way.
00:41:03.200 These health orders are not criminal law.
00:41:05.460 None of them have a custodial sentence,
00:41:07.360 by which I mean you can't be jailed,
00:41:08.980 even though all these guys have been jailed.
00:41:11.820 So what's the right response
00:41:13.240 to a restaurant that won't close?
00:41:15.120 Well, John Tory ordered the largest police operation
00:41:20.660 in Toronto since the G20.
00:41:24.240 50 police cars, 100 cops.
00:41:26.520 I saw four horses.
00:41:27.640 I was told there were six.
00:41:28.880 Did anybody B-roll of that?
00:41:30.620 And the police horses,
00:41:32.740 like they galloped in,
00:41:34.720 even though there were children there.
00:41:36.660 So if that's what you're doing to a restaurant
00:41:40.300 because someone went to the restaurant.
00:41:44.200 Yeah, like here come the horses
00:41:46.440 at a bit of a trot.
00:41:48.140 That's a bit of a trot.
00:41:50.260 There are women and children there
00:41:53.300 and you're running those horses in like that?
00:41:56.840 And the cops are just arresting everyone?
00:41:58.920 And there's 100 people?
00:42:00.400 Like this is the size of an operation.
00:42:04.540 And then that guy hugs him
00:42:05.600 and the cops,
00:42:07.380 that fella hugs Adam Skelly.
00:42:10.420 The cops arrested him
00:42:11.560 and charged him too, by the way.
00:42:15.040 I think he's down on the ground there.
00:42:16.740 Yeah, they're just,
00:42:17.640 they're really going after that guy.
00:42:19.680 Yeah, they take him down.
00:42:21.720 Why did they take him down?
00:42:22.500 Because he hugged Adam Kelly.
00:42:23.560 Look at that.
00:42:24.620 Skelly, Adam Skelly.
00:42:25.520 I think, yeah, there's Adam Skelly.
00:42:30.200 This is great footage by Lincoln J.,
00:42:33.680 our videographer.
00:42:36.480 So this is how a restaurateur was handled.
00:42:41.140 50 police cars, roads blocked off,
00:42:43.600 police riot horses.
00:42:45.380 You saw them galloping in.
00:42:48.080 That's not police work.
00:42:49.340 That's political shock tactics.
00:42:51.620 So you're the mayor that,
00:42:52.660 and don't tell me this was done
00:42:53.920 based on police thinking.
00:42:56.660 This was done on a political order
00:42:58.680 from the mayor.
00:42:59.620 There's no way an operation of this size
00:43:01.960 would not have been approved by the mayor.
00:43:04.800 So this is what John Tory did
00:43:07.000 to a restaurant he didn't like.
00:43:08.920 Okay, thanks.
00:43:10.080 And so some guy sees the mayor on a patio
00:43:12.340 after a year of lockdowns
00:43:15.500 and asks him some prickly questions.
00:43:17.620 Yeah, I'm going to say that's fair game.
00:43:19.900 I just think it is.
00:43:21.640 And the reaction by the lockdown class,
00:43:23.920 how dare you?
00:43:25.460 Don't you know your place?
00:43:26.640 Go to City Hall and write an email.
00:43:28.740 You want to be effective, right?
00:43:30.020 You know, what was that one guy?
00:43:32.200 Do you want,
00:43:32.920 is this really what you want to do with your life?
00:43:34.860 No, I don't think it's what anyone wants to do
00:43:36.560 with their life.
00:43:37.780 But we've all been forced to do it.
00:43:40.860 You're embarrassing yourself.
00:43:43.480 Maybe he was,
00:43:44.440 but that's a point of view.
00:43:47.660 I think he was trying to embarrass the mayor
00:43:49.960 because that's a tool we use
00:43:51.920 in a non-violent democracy.
00:43:53.820 We don't punch the mayor
00:43:55.100 or threaten the mayor
00:43:56.180 or stab the mayor
00:43:56.940 or hurt the mayor
00:43:57.520 or get it.
00:43:57.780 We don't do anything violent.
00:43:59.260 We use the power of moral condemnation.
00:44:01.460 And when that's successful,
00:44:04.700 it involves embarrassment.
00:44:08.720 I think that what we saw there was fair game.
00:44:15.600 Let's take some chats.
00:44:17.580 I'm going to disagree with you
00:44:33.360 on the kids' part.
00:44:34.800 I think that Shandro
00:44:36.500 should leave his kids at home
00:44:37.680 when he's out at public events
00:44:38.920 because this will likely happen,
00:44:41.380 possibly for the rest of Shandro's term in politics.
00:44:44.700 And that's a result of him
00:44:46.960 antagonizing millions of people
00:44:50.480 with capricious and punitive laws.
00:44:53.880 And I just don't think the kids
00:44:55.400 should pay a price for that.
00:44:56.920 But I think that's within Shandro's control.
00:44:59.060 If Shandro wants to be out in public,
00:45:00.940 he should expect this.
00:45:02.420 And so his wife and kids
00:45:03.440 who are non-political
00:45:05.140 should not accompany their dad
00:45:07.260 when he goes out and about.
00:45:10.480 Hyperchat, five libraries from my room agony.
00:45:13.360 No, they deserve humiliation
00:45:14.560 in front of their families.
00:45:16.020 They are evil.
00:45:16.560 They are literally jabbing kids
00:45:18.000 over 12 with an experimental vaccine.
00:45:19.560 The gloves are off.
00:45:21.680 I'm not saying that Shandro himself
00:45:24.020 doesn't deserve humiliation.
00:45:25.420 I'm saying that, you know,
00:45:27.380 when you stop and speak to a child,
00:45:31.220 your father is a war criminal.
00:45:33.160 If I was out and about with my kids
00:45:35.200 and some adult started talking to my kids
00:45:38.700 about something, like other than,
00:45:41.780 you know, that's a cute puppy
00:45:42.880 or you're a good girl or whatever,
00:45:45.960 like if there was anything substantive,
00:45:48.060 political, I'd say,
00:45:49.140 who are you?
00:45:49.980 You creep.
00:45:50.740 Get away from my kids.
00:45:51.720 So I don't think the kids need to be the target.
00:45:55.940 But I have no problem with moral condemnation
00:46:00.900 and verbal condemnation
00:46:02.120 that doesn't rise to the level of threats.
00:46:04.600 And I think that swears are lawful.
00:46:08.160 I think you just want to be judicious with swearing.
00:46:11.600 There's a time and a place for it.
00:46:16.260 Car painter refused some service.
00:46:18.380 That's the right answer.
00:46:19.660 Can you remember that story we showed from the UK?
00:46:21.800 I don't know why.
00:46:24.500 You know, I think that Canadians
00:46:25.600 sometimes lack self-respect.
00:46:27.520 We certainly lack the freedom instinct
00:46:30.340 that you see in the United States.
00:46:32.520 And in the UK, pubs, neighborhood pubs,
00:46:35.480 have a historical, cultural role
00:46:38.160 that we don't have here in Canada.
00:46:40.320 And it takes a while to get used to
00:46:41.800 when you're over there.
00:46:42.920 Look at this.
00:46:43.320 Lifetime pub band for Warrington MP
00:46:45.180 who backed 10 p.m. curfew.
00:46:48.280 Can you scroll down just a little bit
00:46:50.320 and give me some more size here?
00:46:51.980 An MP has received a lifetime ban
00:46:54.900 from the pubs, bars, and clubs
00:46:56.940 in his own town
00:46:58.220 following his support
00:46:59.440 for the recent 10 p.m. coronavirus curfew.
00:47:02.680 Warrington South MP Andy Carter
00:47:05.000 will be barred from some 30 venues
00:47:07.860 in the Cheshire town
00:47:10.100 after the local pub watch group
00:47:12.040 voted unanimously to ban him.
00:47:15.160 Members said Mr. Carter
00:47:15.980 had shown the industry no support.
00:47:17.500 The conservative said
00:47:20.300 using the pub safety scheme
00:47:21.560 for political aims
00:47:22.360 brought it into disrepute.
00:47:24.380 No, sir, you're the disreputable one.
00:47:25.960 Thanks.
00:47:26.440 It's just a great story.
00:47:27.440 Pub watch is like a volunteer.
00:47:29.160 It's like a crime stoppers for pubs.
00:47:31.120 They sort of look out for each other.
00:47:32.940 It's like an industry group.
00:47:34.540 And really one of the things
00:47:35.680 that they do in pub watch
00:47:37.080 is, you know,
00:47:38.240 there's sometimes hooligans,
00:47:39.840 especially if there's football games going on.
00:47:41.580 So they sort of,
00:47:43.120 it's like casinos sometimes share
00:47:44.720 pictures of people who are like
00:47:46.740 fiefs or whatever
00:47:48.840 or frauds.
00:47:51.960 They just said,
00:47:52.580 don't, you know,
00:47:52.860 if you see this guy,
00:47:53.820 don't let him in.
00:47:55.140 The pubs do the same
00:47:56.080 for people who are rowdy
00:47:57.060 and get drunk and fight.
00:47:58.280 So it's like a,
00:47:59.180 it's a mutual aid society.
00:48:00.640 So the pub watch said,
00:48:02.620 yeah, this guy wants to shut us down.
00:48:05.340 You're not welcome here.
00:48:06.440 And you know what?
00:48:07.080 It lasts some self-respect.
00:48:08.560 And I don't know
00:48:10.420 how any Canadian restaurant,
00:48:12.100 pub, bar, whatever,
00:48:13.180 we don't even have pubs
00:48:14.160 in the same way
00:48:14.720 that they have.
00:48:15.260 The pub is,
00:48:16.040 a family goes to a pub.
00:48:17.240 First of all,
00:48:17.620 they're family friendly.
00:48:19.020 They serve drinks, obviously,
00:48:21.140 but kids go there.
00:48:22.500 They don't serve the kids drinks,
00:48:23.880 but, you know,
00:48:24.620 they serve the grown-ups drinks.
00:48:26.000 And people hang out there
00:48:26.860 for quite a while.
00:48:27.480 There's usually meals there.
00:48:30.460 So you go there
00:48:31.160 for like a Sunday lunch
00:48:32.620 and you stick around for hours
00:48:34.660 and kids play with other kids.
00:48:36.700 They may maybe go out
00:48:37.720 to the green outside.
00:48:38.820 It's a whole thing.
00:48:40.560 So it's like if someone said,
00:48:42.200 Ezra, you're banned
00:48:42.960 from that Italian restaurant
00:48:44.100 in your neighborhood.
00:48:45.160 I'd say, oh, okay.
00:48:46.180 So, you know,
00:48:46.880 I'll eat at one of 100
00:48:47.660 other restaurants.
00:48:48.400 But pubs,
00:48:48.980 being banned from a pub,
00:48:50.140 it's not just a place
00:48:50.860 to get a bite.
00:48:51.920 It's where you catch up
00:48:52.980 with your neighbors
00:48:53.460 and your friends
00:48:53.960 and your family
00:48:54.540 and you spend hours
00:48:55.680 and the kids meet other kids.
00:48:56.740 Like, it's a whole thing.
00:48:58.760 It's really wonderful
00:48:59.980 and I didn't understand it
00:49:01.580 until I experienced it
00:49:02.580 because you,
00:49:03.520 like, what is that like?
00:49:05.080 Well, everyone,
00:49:05.880 it's like in Cheers
00:49:07.060 where everyone knows everyone
00:49:08.020 except for in Cheers,
00:49:08.940 the TV show
00:49:09.600 from the 90s or whatever,
00:49:11.800 80s.
00:49:13.340 It was just grownups, right?
00:49:15.060 It was all people
00:49:16.260 coming after work
00:49:17.180 to drink,
00:49:18.240 like,
00:49:19.380 sad people
00:49:20.400 who hate their jobs
00:49:22.340 going to drink
00:49:23.120 their sorrows away
00:49:24.000 at that pub
00:49:25.680 called Cheers.
00:49:26.580 That's not,
00:49:27.400 the pub experience,
00:49:28.200 I mean,
00:49:28.280 obviously there's that too,
00:49:29.300 but the pub experience
00:49:30.100 that I think is so valuable
00:49:31.360 in the UK.
00:49:32.440 It's a positive place
00:49:33.460 where all families go
00:49:34.840 for,
00:49:35.860 to spend hours
00:49:37.580 including a meal.
00:49:39.680 So to be banned from that,
00:49:41.020 it's not just you're being banned
00:49:42.260 from the fish and chips
00:49:43.100 or banned from,
00:49:44.440 you know,
00:49:45.080 the full English breakfast
00:49:46.300 or whatever.
00:49:47.300 You're being banned
00:49:48.200 from those social communities
00:49:50.060 and for a politician,
00:49:51.800 that's extra bad.
00:49:52.660 So congratulations
00:49:53.620 to the 30 pubs,
00:49:55.280 bars,
00:49:55.680 restaurants
00:49:56.160 in Cheshire Town there.
00:49:58.500 Shame on that politician
00:49:59.780 for hurting his own community.
00:50:01.640 And my long-winded discourse here
00:50:04.840 is a way of saying,
00:50:05.920 where is the self-respecting restaurants,
00:50:07.860 bars,
00:50:08.080 and pubs in this country
00:50:09.040 to say,
00:50:09.960 you locked us down?
00:50:10.960 You're not welcome here.
00:50:13.000 You tried to destroy us.
00:50:14.900 You didn't just disagree with us.
00:50:17.180 You didn't just scold us.
00:50:20.300 You tried to kill us.
00:50:21.580 You did kill us for a year.
00:50:26.540 Hyper chat,
00:50:27.920 History Club World,
00:50:29.040 do you think that anything
00:50:29.920 will actually happen to see
00:50:30.920 if the government acted properly
00:50:31.960 with COVID?
00:50:33.000 An investigation that is
00:50:33.960 fairly conducted,
00:50:34.700 do you think it will be
00:50:35.140 rubber-stamped for their actions?
00:50:36.860 Also, that Shandra video
00:50:37.900 went on too long.
00:50:38.780 It wasn't proper.
00:50:39.580 As for Tory,
00:50:40.060 he looked like he is
00:50:42.140 heist-drewgy.
00:50:43.680 I don't know what that is.
00:50:45.980 Yeah, listen,
00:50:46.760 both of those videos
00:50:47.520 went on too long.
00:50:49.020 And it's because those guys
00:50:50.100 who were antagonizing
00:50:51.420 those politicians
00:50:52.020 weren't silver-tongued devils
00:50:53.940 who are practiced
00:50:54.980 in the arts of rhetoric.
00:50:56.400 You know,
00:50:56.560 they're probably
00:50:56.840 working-class guys
00:50:57.740 who had a few talking points
00:50:59.640 and said them
00:51:00.300 and didn't quite get
00:51:01.040 their words right
00:51:01.580 and maybe weren't
00:51:03.080 part of the debating club.
00:51:04.180 Probably didn't go to college
00:51:05.160 where there was
00:51:05.580 a debating club.
00:51:07.200 But that's the thing.
00:51:08.280 Normally,
00:51:08.760 we allow people
00:51:09.500 to transmit,
00:51:11.180 to have delegates,
00:51:12.260 to have representatives
00:51:13.020 for their points of view.
00:51:14.420 Do you have a journalist
00:51:15.320 who's asking aggressive questions
00:51:16.740 on behalf of people?
00:51:17.500 No,
00:51:17.780 you have Brian Lilly
00:51:18.480 who's sleeping
00:51:19.000 with the premier's president.
00:51:20.340 Do you have lawyers
00:51:23.280 and judges
00:51:24.640 who are challenging the state?
00:51:25.820 No,
00:51:26.000 you have judges
00:51:26.760 upholding the lockdown.
00:51:28.080 Do you have opposition parties
00:51:29.180 that are grilling
00:51:30.100 the government
00:51:30.540 about their lockdowns?
00:51:31.340 No,
00:51:31.540 every opposition party
00:51:32.400 supports them.
00:51:33.060 Do you have
00:51:33.540 any check and balance?
00:51:34.900 No,
00:51:35.060 you don't.
00:51:35.480 So when these people
00:51:36.240 finally encountered
00:51:37.340 the politicians,
00:51:38.100 they have no proxy,
00:51:39.320 they had no delegate,
00:51:40.240 they had no agent,
00:51:40.940 they had no representative
00:51:42.260 doing it for them,
00:51:42.980 and a year and a half
00:51:43.740 worth of venting
00:51:44.520 happened in 10 minutes.
00:51:49.660 Super,
00:51:50.060 you're hammer school 88.
00:51:51.000 They need to feel
00:51:51.580 our outrage.
00:51:52.240 Sorry,
00:51:52.520 not sorry.
00:51:54.060 Chair 21,
00:51:54.880 we have been constantly
00:51:55.940 living under threats
00:51:56.740 of fines and imprisonment
00:51:57.720 for almost two years.
00:51:58.580 He can take some honesty
00:51:59.740 on how it's affected us.
00:52:02.080 Books and tea,
00:52:03.780 write an email,
00:52:04.840 laugh out loud.
00:52:05.400 Yeah,
00:52:05.660 what a joke that is.
00:52:07.800 Rumble,
00:52:08.260 Maria C.
00:52:09.940 You,
00:52:10.420 they want to have
00:52:11.040 a private life,
00:52:11.760 so back off from ours.
00:52:13.060 Why politicians
00:52:14.060 are telling us
00:52:15.120 how we should live,
00:52:16.200 including sex.
00:52:17.020 Yeah,
00:52:17.240 that's not even a joke.
00:52:18.520 Like,
00:52:18.900 Theresa Tam,
00:52:20.060 wear a mask
00:52:21.440 while having sex,
00:52:22.560 Canada's top doctor suggests.
00:52:24.380 Also,
00:52:24.880 how dare you
00:52:25.760 ask us questions
00:52:26.780 while we're
00:52:27.220 privately having
00:52:28.620 dinner on the patio.
00:52:30.440 Stop invading
00:52:31.260 my privacy
00:52:32.060 on the patio
00:52:32.920 in a public street.
00:52:34.300 By the way,
00:52:34.760 put a mask on
00:52:35.440 when you're having sex.
00:52:37.360 Hey,
00:52:38.320 what you do
00:52:39.120 in your own bedroom,
00:52:40.220 Theresa Tam,
00:52:41.340 don't,
00:52:42.200 don't,
00:52:42.600 you know,
00:52:43.060 just,
00:52:43.460 I don't want
00:52:44.020 to know
00:52:44.380 any more.
00:52:47.020 Andy B,
00:52:47.580 Hyperchat,
00:52:48.100 500 library tokens,
00:52:49.440 that's a lot
00:52:49.920 of library.
00:52:51.240 By the way,
00:52:51.820 you can make
00:52:52.280 a donation
00:52:52.820 on Odyssey
00:52:53.900 in,
00:52:55.160 in,
00:52:57.160 in,
00:52:57.620 in regular money.
00:52:59.000 It doesn't have
00:52:59.480 to be in
00:53:00.080 library anymore.
00:53:03.680 You can do it
00:53:04.480 in dollars.
00:53:05.080 I think it's
00:53:05.540 only U.S. dollars
00:53:06.240 for now,
00:53:06.660 but I think
00:53:07.120 it's changing,
00:53:09.480 they're going
00:53:09.660 to have,
00:53:10.060 you know what,
00:53:10.500 I'm going to take
00:53:10.800 a short detour here.
00:53:12.360 I,
00:53:13.060 because they always
00:53:14.040 say,
00:53:14.280 can you at least
00:53:14.960 try and do a little
00:53:15.720 bit of commerce
00:53:16.180 on the show?
00:53:17.100 And I'm just so
00:53:17.760 busy rambling.
00:53:19.240 But I am told
00:53:20.200 that we have
00:53:20.620 some new stuff
00:53:21.180 in the Rebel News
00:53:21.720 store.
00:53:23.000 And I'm glad
00:53:24.060 to hear it
00:53:24.600 because I think
00:53:25.220 we need to
00:53:25.800 pump up
00:53:26.680 some of our
00:53:27.740 offerings.
00:53:29.380 I'll finish that,
00:53:30.160 guys.
00:53:31.600 Okay,
00:53:32.040 let me finish
00:53:32.480 that chat
00:53:32.940 and then I'm
00:53:33.280 going to come
00:53:33.580 back.
00:53:33.900 500 libraries,
00:53:34.660 that's a lot
00:53:35.040 of library.
00:53:36.020 From Andy B,
00:53:36.720 thank you,
00:53:37.140 Andy.
00:53:37.860 Currency creation
00:53:38.780 is the central
00:53:39.500 planner's tool
00:53:40.240 of control.
00:53:41.280 How do we
00:53:41.640 render that tool
00:53:42.220 useless?
00:53:42.820 We need to
00:53:43.240 reject centralized
00:53:43.960 fiat currency
00:53:44.680 and opt for
00:53:45.180 a decentralized,
00:53:46.980 permissionless,
00:53:47.680 borderless sound
00:53:48.260 money that's
00:53:48.700 rules.
00:53:49.000 The mass
00:53:49.300 adoption of
00:53:49.780 Bitcoin is
00:53:50.720 the end
00:53:50.920 of totalitarianism.
00:53:51.880 We have
00:53:52.140 hope.
00:53:52.860 Listen,
00:53:53.180 I believe in
00:53:53.780 all of that
00:53:54.360 and I know
00:53:55.680 that Bitcoin
00:53:56.060 goes up and
00:53:56.620 down and
00:53:56.920 there's a
00:53:57.240 speculative side
00:53:58.280 to it also.
00:53:59.180 There's also
00:53:59.540 a manipulative
00:54:00.160 side to it.
00:54:00.720 I think
00:54:00.980 Elon Musk
00:54:01.600 is a bit
00:54:02.320 of a
00:54:03.220 cryptocurrency
00:54:03.640 manipulator.
00:54:04.440 I think
00:54:07.020 China has
00:54:07.740 a role
00:54:08.300 here too.
00:54:08.840 They don't
00:54:09.140 like
00:54:09.500 cryptocurrency
00:54:10.480 because it
00:54:11.340 is resistant
00:54:12.560 to state
00:54:13.040 control.
00:54:13.620 That's why
00:54:13.840 they've been
00:54:14.160 banning
00:54:14.720 cryptocurrency
00:54:15.180 mining in
00:54:16.020 China.
00:54:16.660 But I
00:54:17.040 agree with
00:54:17.480 you and
00:54:17.700 I think
00:54:18.020 we're in
00:54:18.420 for
00:54:18.620 inflation
00:54:19.380 of prices.
00:54:20.100 I think
00:54:20.220 we're in
00:54:20.500 for an
00:54:21.120 era of
00:54:21.620 printing
00:54:21.920 money
00:54:22.280 and to
00:54:22.560 devalue
00:54:23.060 it.
00:54:23.760 So I
00:54:24.040 think that
00:54:24.520 in the
00:54:25.100 long term
00:54:25.680 cryptocurrencies
00:54:27.160 will not
00:54:27.900 only give
00:54:28.300 us financial
00:54:28.960 independence
00:54:29.420 from the
00:54:29.680 government
00:54:29.860 but also
00:54:30.300 some
00:54:30.540 sort of
00:54:31.020 privacy.
00:54:32.600 Which is
00:54:33.160 why I
00:54:33.420 think governments
00:54:33.800 hate it
00:54:34.120 so much.
00:54:34.560 Anyhow,
00:54:34.780 thanks for
00:54:35.100 that chat.
00:54:37.900 What were
00:54:38.460 we going
00:54:38.800 back?
00:54:39.000 We were
00:54:39.200 going to
00:54:39.360 the store.
00:54:39.800 I want
00:54:40.020 to show
00:54:40.340 you some
00:54:41.260 new stuff
00:54:42.120 in the
00:54:43.060 store.
00:54:43.420 Can you
00:54:44.260 click on
00:54:45.880 new designs?
00:54:50.500 Save the
00:54:51.460 pastors,
00:54:53.040 rebelize.
00:54:55.260 That's a
00:54:55.680 good one.
00:54:57.640 1984 was
00:54:58.620 not an
00:54:59.000 instruction
00:54:59.520 manual.
00:55:01.760 What's
00:55:02.520 that one
00:55:02.820 there?
00:55:03.520 Don't
00:55:03.860 ever
00:55:04.220 ever
00:55:04.240 yeah
00:55:05.160 Marty
00:55:06.480 whatever
00:55:06.780 happens
00:55:07.400 don't
00:55:08.220 ever
00:55:08.480 go
00:55:08.800 2020.
00:55:10.300 That is
00:55:10.780 so right.
00:55:11.960 That's
00:55:12.220 so right.
00:55:14.300 What does
00:55:14.660 that one
00:55:15.040 say?
00:55:19.200 Yeah,
00:55:19.700 sometimes
00:55:20.020 faith will
00:55:20.460 make you
00:55:20.740 look
00:55:20.900 until
00:55:22.520 you know
00:55:23.040 woke
00:55:23.420 a cola.
00:55:24.040 That's a
00:55:24.200 good one.
00:55:24.640 got my
00:55:28.620 shot.
00:55:29.060 It's a
00:55:29.380 shot.
00:55:29.740 Yeah,
00:55:30.000 okay.
00:55:30.640 Keep
00:55:30.920 scrolling.
00:55:31.760 What do
00:55:31.940 we got
00:55:32.220 there?
00:55:34.440 Everything
00:55:34.880 will be
00:55:35.600 okay in
00:55:36.220 the end.
00:55:37.840 The
00:55:38.000 lies got
00:55:38.620 to go.
00:55:39.260 Boy,
00:55:39.520 there's a
00:55:39.840 lot of
00:55:40.140 shirts
00:55:40.440 here,
00:55:40.820 eh?
00:55:43.140 Fauci
00:55:43.620 Nokia.
00:55:45.380 I know
00:55:46.000 someone who
00:55:46.640 would wear
00:55:47.040 that.
00:55:47.500 I got to
00:55:47.900 get that.
00:55:48.800 Where do
00:55:49.320 these ship?
00:55:49.740 Do they
00:55:49.940 ship to the
00:55:50.400 US and
00:55:50.940 Canada?
00:55:51.320 free shipping.
00:55:53.460 I know
00:55:53.760 someone in
00:55:54.420 the States
00:55:54.900 who would
00:55:55.260 love that
00:55:55.720 Fauci Nokia
00:55:56.320 one.
00:55:56.700 I'm going
00:55:56.960 to send
00:55:57.440 it to
00:55:57.680 her.
00:56:00.460 Oh,
00:56:00.980 there's
00:56:01.240 the
00:56:01.400 Menzies
00:56:01.780 one.
00:56:04.660 He's
00:56:05.100 almost like
00:56:05.920 that in
00:56:06.260 real life.
00:56:07.400 Like,
00:56:07.680 he's getting
00:56:08.060 fit,
00:56:08.500 isn't he?
00:56:08.920 He's pretty
00:56:09.320 fit.
00:56:10.820 All right.
00:56:11.600 By the
00:56:12.040 way,
00:56:13.220 we have
00:56:14.860 women's
00:56:16.160 the men's
00:56:17.220 oys t-shirts,
00:56:17.940 so it's a
00:56:18.300 different shape,
00:56:19.080 obviously,
00:56:19.520 than a men's
00:56:20.140 shape.
00:56:21.320 I wonder
00:56:22.100 if we
00:56:22.320 can show
00:56:23.240 that.
00:56:25.860 So go
00:56:26.240 to the,
00:56:27.780 it's just
00:56:28.740 cut a little
00:56:29.400 bit differently.
00:56:30.560 So that's
00:56:30.920 at
00:56:31.080 rebelnewsstore.com.
00:56:33.500 We're
00:56:33.800 getting good
00:56:34.340 stuff.
00:56:35.160 Socialist
00:56:35.620 distancing,
00:56:36.120 that's very
00:56:36.580 funny.
00:56:37.600 I really
00:56:37.980 like it
00:56:38.380 when Avi
00:56:39.140 wears that
00:56:39.720 one.
00:56:40.220 You know
00:56:40.500 who wears
00:56:40.880 our stuff
00:56:41.260 also?
00:56:42.180 Sheila
00:56:42.620 wears a lot
00:56:43.140 of our
00:56:43.360 gear.
00:56:44.160 Actually,
00:56:44.440 everyone
00:56:44.680 wears it.
00:56:45.600 I was going
00:56:45.820 to say
00:56:46.000 Adam Sose
00:56:46.500 wears it
00:56:46.960 a lot.
00:56:47.800 I wear
00:56:48.200 a jacket,
00:56:49.760 so you
00:56:50.000 couldn't
00:56:50.240 really see
00:56:50.680 it under
00:56:50.960 that.
00:56:51.120 And I
00:56:51.260 like
00:56:51.460 wearing
00:56:51.720 a little
00:56:52.040 collar
00:56:52.400 shirt.
00:56:53.320 Frankly,
00:56:53.640 I should
00:56:53.800 probably
00:56:54.020 wear a
00:56:54.280 tie.
00:56:54.540 Anyways,
00:56:55.020 thanks to
00:56:55.480 all those
00:56:55.740 folks who
00:56:56.220 buy stuff
00:56:57.080 from our
00:56:57.340 store.
00:56:58.580 1257,
00:56:59.300 I want
00:56:59.560 to make
00:57:00.300 sure you
00:57:02.000 see this
00:57:02.460 video from
00:57:02.980 Australia.
00:57:03.580 I think
00:57:10.080 they've had
00:57:10.420 a grand
00:57:10.760 total of
00:57:11.260 three deaths
00:57:12.020 from COVID-19
00:57:13.580 in the
00:57:14.240 entire
00:57:14.700 continent.
00:57:16.380 It's a
00:57:16.820 very big
00:57:17.360 place,
00:57:17.800 Australia.
00:57:19.660 Population
00:57:20.140 wise,
00:57:20.500 it's not
00:57:20.780 huge,
00:57:21.380 but still
00:57:21.820 three deaths
00:57:22.540 in a year.
00:57:23.340 I think
00:57:23.540 that's the
00:57:23.920 stats.
00:57:25.420 And of
00:57:25.760 course,
00:57:26.080 it's like
00:57:26.540 everywhere else
00:57:27.060 in the West.
00:57:27.440 The average
00:57:27.780 age of
00:57:28.120 death is
00:57:28.580 actually
00:57:29.580 older than
00:57:30.460 life expectancy.
00:57:31.320 These people
00:57:31.880 are in
00:57:32.060 their 80s.
00:57:34.840 It just
00:57:35.460 does not
00:57:35.820 make any
00:57:36.280 sense.
00:57:36.900 Do we
00:57:37.100 have the
00:57:37.340 two clips?
00:57:38.320 Can we
00:57:38.620 show the
00:57:39.000 first clip,
00:57:40.760 which is,
00:57:42.020 I think
00:57:42.440 there was
00:57:42.740 one death,
00:57:43.740 so they
00:57:44.060 shut up.
00:57:45.180 You don't
00:57:45.520 have that
00:57:45.780 super handy.
00:57:46.180 We'll start
00:57:46.460 with the
00:57:46.660 other one.
00:57:47.420 Here's,
00:57:49.040 I forget
00:57:49.520 the names
00:57:50.820 of the
00:57:51.040 different
00:57:51.260 states in
00:57:51.780 Australia.
00:57:52.700 This is
00:57:53.000 one of
00:57:53.260 the,
00:57:53.480 maybe this
00:57:53.820 is New
00:57:54.120 South Wales,
00:57:54.580 I'm not
00:57:54.780 sure.
00:57:55.280 This is
00:57:55.620 the public
00:57:56.260 health
00:57:56.620 officer.
00:57:58.480 There's
00:57:58.720 just no
00:57:59.060 science here.
00:58:00.620 This is
00:58:01.080 just someone
00:58:02.460 whose emotions
00:58:04.280 are out of
00:58:04.780 control,
00:58:05.200 has no
00:58:05.520 control over
00:58:06.040 themselves,
00:58:07.100 is babbling,
00:58:08.120 is ranting,
00:58:08.680 is a crazy
00:58:09.240 person,
00:58:10.120 a crazy
00:58:11.660 person who
00:58:12.100 would never
00:58:12.460 be elected,
00:58:13.020 a crazy
00:58:13.340 person with
00:58:13.880 no authority,
00:58:15.040 who's just
00:58:15.880 babbling,
00:58:17.220 vomiting out
00:58:18.000 her own
00:58:18.900 fears,
00:58:19.640 and cooking
00:58:20.420 up things
00:58:20.880 with no
00:58:21.240 scientific
00:58:21.620 basis.
00:58:22.700 I think
00:58:23.480 she is
00:58:24.300 unwell,
00:58:25.460 but listen
00:58:25.860 to her.
00:58:26.200 whilst it
00:58:28.420 is a
00:58:28.720 human
00:58:29.080 nature
00:58:29.620 to
00:58:30.360 engage
00:58:30.840 in
00:58:31.020 conversation
00:58:31.640 with
00:58:31.980 others,
00:58:32.820 to be
00:58:33.400 friendly,
00:58:35.040 unfortunately,
00:58:36.720 this is
00:58:37.120 not the
00:58:37.460 time to
00:58:37.900 do that.
00:58:38.480 So even
00:58:38.820 if you
00:58:39.080 run into
00:58:39.580 your next
00:58:40.040 door neighbour
00:58:40.580 in the
00:58:42.440 shopping centre,
00:58:43.320 in the
00:58:43.620 Coles,
00:58:44.060 whilst you're
00:58:44.340 at Coles
00:58:44.700 Awards,
00:58:45.200 or Aldi,
00:58:45.840 or any
00:58:46.660 other grocery
00:58:47.800 shop,
00:58:49.000 don't start
00:58:49.740 up a
00:58:50.000 conversation.
00:58:51.340 Now is
00:58:51.820 the time
00:58:52.320 for minimising
00:58:53.320 your
00:58:53.560 interactions
00:58:54.120 with others,
00:58:55.380 even if
00:58:55.820 you've
00:58:55.980 got a
00:58:56.240 mask,
00:58:57.700 do not
00:58:58.160 think that
00:58:58.600 affords
00:58:59.080 total
00:58:59.460 protection.
00:59:00.200 We want
00:59:00.480 to be
00:59:00.740 absolutely
00:59:01.520 sure
00:59:02.020 that as
00:59:03.020 we go
00:59:03.320 about our
00:59:03.780 daily
00:59:04.040 lives,
00:59:04.640 we do
00:59:04.980 not come
00:59:05.380 into
00:59:05.560 contact
00:59:06.080 with
00:59:06.720 anyone
00:59:07.020 else
00:59:07.300 that
00:59:07.420 would
00:59:07.540 pose
00:59:07.820 a
00:59:07.940 risk.
00:59:11.160 There's
00:59:11.600 no other
00:59:11.960 way to
00:59:12.280 say it,
00:59:12.640 that's
00:59:12.920 complete
00:59:13.380 bullshit.
00:59:15.520 She is
00:59:16.200 a wicked
00:59:16.840 liar.
00:59:17.560 I'm sure
00:59:18.000 in her
00:59:18.380 mind,
00:59:18.980 she's a
00:59:19.500 hero,
00:59:19.960 a champion,
00:59:20.680 a high
00:59:21.040 priestess,
00:59:21.780 of some
00:59:23.120 lockdownist
00:59:24.280 cult,
00:59:25.760 don't have
00:59:26.400 conversations
00:59:27.160 with other
00:59:27.740 humans,
00:59:29.000 even if
00:59:29.480 you're socially
00:59:29.940 distanced
00:59:30.400 and wearing
00:59:30.800 masks.
00:59:32.240 There's no
00:59:32.680 science behind
00:59:33.260 that.
00:59:33.560 No one
00:59:34.520 has said
00:59:35.040 that.
00:59:35.900 This kook
00:59:36.500 is in
00:59:36.920 charge.
00:59:37.840 Don't
00:59:38.220 be friendly.
00:59:40.100 Don't
00:59:40.320 be friendly.
00:59:41.660 Who the
00:59:42.200 hell are
00:59:42.640 you,
00:59:42.980 you freak?
00:59:45.000 Don't
00:59:45.420 have
00:59:45.580 conversations,
00:59:46.640 minimize
00:59:46.920 interactions,
00:59:47.840 even with
00:59:48.300 a mask.
00:59:49.400 Hey,
00:59:49.620 do you
00:59:49.780 think she
00:59:50.280 lives that
00:59:50.900 way?
00:59:51.780 Do you
00:59:52.480 think the
00:59:52.900 governing
00:59:53.240 class,
00:59:53.740 the ruling
00:59:54.080 class,
00:59:54.520 the lockdownist
00:59:55.200 lived that
00:59:55.980 way?
00:59:57.900 Of course
00:59:58.460 she's a
00:59:58.800 liar.
00:59:59.780 Of course
01:00:00.140 she made
01:00:00.480 that up.
01:00:03.820 But people
01:00:04.540 obey her?
01:00:05.340 She has
01:00:05.660 power?
01:00:06.120 What is
01:00:06.420 that but
01:00:06.780 tyranny?
01:00:07.220 Did you
01:00:07.460 think
01:00:07.680 tyranny
01:00:08.120 would be
01:00:08.860 wearing a
01:00:09.280 swastika or
01:00:10.060 a hammer
01:00:10.440 and sickle
01:00:11.020 and like
01:00:11.820 a German
01:00:12.740 Nazi
01:00:13.720 uniform and
01:00:14.480 would be
01:00:14.960 with
01:00:16.040 what are
01:00:17.320 those sticks
01:00:17.900 like some
01:00:19.060 sort of
01:00:19.420 swizzle
01:00:19.780 stick
01:00:20.020 kind of
01:00:20.480 spear or
01:00:22.540 something?
01:00:22.840 Do you
01:00:22.960 think it
01:00:23.180 would look
01:00:23.520 like some
01:00:23.960 secret police?
01:00:24.740 Do you
01:00:24.860 think tyranny
01:00:25.500 when it
01:00:26.020 comes looks
01:00:27.560 like some
01:00:28.100 World War II
01:00:28.840 Nazis movie?
01:00:30.140 Like the
01:00:30.660 sound of
01:00:31.040 music,
01:00:31.520 like the
01:00:31.840 stereotypical
01:00:32.420 Nazis there?
01:00:33.080 Do you
01:00:33.180 think that's
01:00:34.280 how it
01:00:34.520 looks?
01:00:35.000 No,
01:00:35.200 we would
01:00:35.380 be on
01:00:35.660 guard for
01:00:36.100 that.
01:00:36.320 We'd
01:00:36.440 say you're
01:00:36.700 a fascist.
01:00:37.360 What
01:00:37.560 happens
01:00:38.000 when it
01:00:38.460 looks like
01:00:38.740 a dopey
01:00:39.420 housewife
01:00:40.980 who's
01:00:42.180 the most
01:00:42.840 innocuous
01:00:44.680 looking person,
01:00:45.600 innocuous
01:00:46.000 sounding person
01:00:46.540 who's got a
01:00:46.860 little joke
01:00:47.220 about the
01:00:47.480 different
01:00:47.640 grocery stores
01:00:48.320 and then
01:00:49.000 embedded in
01:00:49.880 her lullaby
01:00:51.220 she says
01:00:52.120 don't talk
01:00:53.440 to anyone,
01:00:54.040 don't be
01:00:54.300 friends with
01:00:54.720 anyone,
01:00:55.260 don't have
01:00:55.740 any conversations,
01:00:56.760 minimize your
01:00:57.220 interactions even
01:00:58.180 if you're a
01:00:58.580 mask and
01:00:59.000 socially distanced.
01:01:00.000 I'm sorry,
01:01:00.720 you look like
01:01:01.680 a friendly
01:01:02.360 mum but
01:01:03.960 you are an
01:01:04.600 evil wicked
01:01:05.640 woman as
01:01:06.540 much as
01:01:07.040 any tyrant
01:01:07.800 dressed in
01:01:08.440 a secret
01:01:09.940 police uniform.
01:01:10.700 What a
01:01:11.080 disgrace she
01:01:11.980 is and
01:01:12.740 yet people
01:01:13.240 are so
01:01:13.760 obedient and
01:01:15.620 I want to
01:01:15.880 show you how
01:01:16.400 crazy it is
01:01:17.100 in Australia.
01:01:17.640 Do you have
01:01:17.740 that other
01:01:18.020 clip I was
01:01:18.460 mentioning?
01:01:18.840 Go ahead,
01:01:19.140 play it.
01:01:20.180 Good evening.
01:01:20.920 Within hours
01:01:21.680 Sydney will
01:01:22.360 be in the
01:01:22.820 grip of
01:01:23.320 much tougher
01:01:24.060 restrictions,
01:01:25.160 the Premier
01:01:25.580 clamping down
01:01:26.440 on the
01:01:26.720 stubborn
01:01:26.980 Delta
01:01:27.400 outbreak
01:01:27.980 with what
01:01:28.660 she's
01:01:28.860 calling a
01:01:29.620 no regrets
01:01:30.320 policy and
01:01:31.740 this is why.
01:01:33.140 From a
01:01:33.400 record 82,000
01:01:34.620 tests, the
01:01:35.380 state today
01:01:35.880 recorded 111
01:01:37.340 cases and
01:01:38.480 tragically the
01:01:39.300 third COVID
01:01:40.060 death in
01:01:40.580 this outbreak,
01:01:41.560 a man aged
01:01:42.320 in his 80s
01:01:43.240 from the
01:01:43.540 city's
01:01:43.920 southeast.
01:01:45.140 Across
01:01:45.440 Greater
01:01:45.800 Sydney, retail
01:01:46.760 shops will
01:01:47.440 now close.
01:01:48.540 A small
01:01:48.960 list of
01:01:49.340 essential
01:01:49.780 stores can
01:01:50.640 remain open.
01:01:52.040 Construction
01:01:52.460 sites across
01:01:53.260 the city
01:01:53.760 shut down.
01:01:55.460 And from
01:01:55.980 midnight tonight,
01:01:57.160 110 suburbs
01:01:58.580 across Liverpool,
01:01:59.880 Fairfield and
01:02:00.580 Canterbury
01:02:01.000 Bankstown will
01:02:02.120 be sealed
01:02:02.720 shut.
01:02:03.560 That's 900,000
01:02:05.260 residents who
01:02:06.440 can't leave
01:02:07.020 their area
01:02:07.580 even for
01:02:08.740 work.
01:02:09.800 Good evening.
01:02:11.980 I'm sorry,
01:02:12.900 that's evil.
01:02:13.580 And what is
01:02:14.240 the role of
01:02:14.700 that news
01:02:15.140 presenter there?
01:02:15.860 Well, she
01:02:16.100 was just
01:02:16.560 reporting the
01:02:17.540 facts, but
01:02:18.060 the media
01:02:18.600 has been so
01:02:19.340 complicit.
01:02:20.960 You've just,
01:02:22.300 you heard her
01:02:23.460 say there was
01:02:24.080 a single
01:02:24.780 death in
01:02:26.720 Sydney, one
01:02:27.340 of the world's
01:02:28.060 leading cities,
01:02:29.160 a city of
01:02:29.560 many millions,
01:02:31.160 one death of
01:02:31.940 someone in
01:02:32.660 their 80s.
01:02:34.860 And so,
01:02:36.620 you're shutting
01:02:37.360 down the
01:02:37.960 whole place.
01:02:39.760 Only a small
01:02:40.940 number of
01:02:41.580 essential,
01:02:42.060 you're shutting
01:02:42.600 down construction?
01:02:44.500 Have you ever
01:02:45.020 seen a
01:02:45.400 construction site?
01:02:46.980 It's outdoors,
01:02:48.540 it's young,
01:02:49.340 healthy men,
01:02:52.140 they're not
01:02:52.880 right next to
01:02:54.260 each other,
01:02:54.720 like there's a
01:02:55.340 guy up in
01:02:55.780 the crane,
01:02:56.540 there's a guy
01:02:56.960 with the cement
01:02:57.560 truck,
01:02:57.980 you're shutting
01:02:59.180 that down?
01:03:00.980 Has there
01:03:01.440 ever in
01:03:02.020 history been
01:03:02.760 a documented
01:03:03.360 case of
01:03:03.860 coronavirus
01:03:04.260 spreading at
01:03:04.960 a construction
01:03:05.460 site?
01:03:06.780 I've never
01:03:07.440 heard, I mean
01:03:08.020 there's no
01:03:08.420 outdoor spreading,
01:03:09.200 it's just not
01:03:09.580 a thing.
01:03:11.720 Or statistically
01:03:12.880 insignificant,
01:03:14.760 construction,
01:03:15.700 it is more
01:03:16.380 dangerous,
01:03:17.100 construction is
01:03:18.040 more dangerous
01:03:18.740 about construction.
01:03:21.160 You're shutting
01:03:21.700 down construction.
01:03:23.980 110 suburbs,
01:03:25.540 900,000 people
01:03:26.880 banned from
01:03:28.120 going to work,
01:03:28.940 obviously going
01:03:29.600 to school,
01:03:30.200 going to
01:03:30.540 anything,
01:03:31.440 because one
01:03:32.380 man in his
01:03:33.220 80s died
01:03:34.180 in a city,
01:03:34.920 what's the
01:03:35.240 population of
01:03:35.920 cities?
01:03:36.520 It's probably
01:03:36.960 more than
01:03:37.300 5 million,
01:03:37.940 right?
01:03:40.000 I just can't
01:03:41.360 believe it.
01:03:43.060 So let's
01:03:44.040 say you've
01:03:44.460 been at
01:03:44.780 home listening
01:03:45.900 to that BS
01:03:46.760 for a year
01:03:47.380 and a half
01:03:47.960 and they
01:03:49.140 finally unlock
01:03:49.920 you.
01:03:50.300 I love that,
01:03:50.960 the no regrets
01:03:51.860 policy.
01:03:52.860 What?
01:03:53.980 No questioning
01:03:54.920 of this,
01:03:55.460 no questioning
01:03:56.060 of this.
01:03:56.340 So you're
01:03:56.980 under that
01:03:57.300 plan.
01:03:57.580 Canada has
01:03:58.520 been under
01:03:58.880 a form of
01:03:59.400 that,
01:04:00.380 one of the
01:04:00.940 worst.
01:04:02.140 And you
01:04:02.660 finally
01:04:03.100 encounter
01:04:03.740 one of
01:04:04.880 the lockdownists,
01:04:05.920 yeah,
01:04:06.160 you're going
01:04:06.400 to mouth
01:04:06.660 off a bit.
01:04:07.700 You're going
01:04:07.960 to mouth
01:04:08.200 off a bit.
01:04:09.820 All right,
01:04:10.280 Justin,
01:04:10.520 it's 104.
01:04:13.880 Big thanks
01:04:14.600 to everyone
01:04:15.100 who was
01:04:15.760 chatting.
01:04:16.420 I think I
01:04:17.120 got to the
01:04:17.560 ones that
01:04:18.040 Justin shared
01:04:18.940 me.
01:04:19.600 Big thanks
01:04:20.120 to Andy B
01:04:20.600 for 500
01:04:21.180 library.
01:04:21.880 I'm not
01:04:22.440 familiar with
01:04:23.280 library
01:04:23.680 completely,
01:04:24.400 but I know
01:04:24.980 it's a
01:04:25.220 cryptocurrency
01:04:25.620 that's used
01:04:26.380 on Odyssey
01:04:26.920 and of
01:04:29.340 course you
01:04:29.580 can also
01:04:29.900 use regular
01:04:30.540 money.
01:04:32.300 So I
01:04:32.480 appreciate
01:04:32.780 that
01:04:33.120 contribution.
01:04:35.200 Is there
01:04:35.700 anything else
01:04:36.060 we ought to
01:04:36.440 do before
01:04:36.780 we sign
01:04:37.160 off today,
01:04:37.580 Justin?
01:04:39.800 All right,
01:04:40.380 well thanks
01:04:40.720 for your
01:04:40.980 help.
01:04:42.360 And there's
01:04:45.420 so much
01:04:45.700 going on.
01:04:46.240 I appreciate
01:04:46.580 everybody
01:04:47.100 tuning in
01:04:48.840 as we do
01:04:49.240 on the
01:04:49.480 four platforms.
01:04:50.500 Odyssey,
01:04:51.180 which we
01:04:52.300 talked about,
01:04:52.920 superu.net,
01:04:54.520 a Vancouver
01:04:54.940 based free
01:04:55.960 speech channel,
01:04:57.280 rumble.com,
01:04:58.220 based here in
01:04:58.720 Toronto actually,
01:05:00.100 and YouTube.
01:05:01.160 They haven't
01:05:01.760 kicked us off
01:05:02.280 yet,
01:05:02.480 although they
01:05:02.840 have demonetized
01:05:03.720 us and they
01:05:04.180 clearly throttle
01:05:04.800 us every time.
01:05:06.080 That's the show
01:05:06.500 for today.
01:05:07.760 We like to end
