welcome to rebel roundup ladies and gentlemen and the rest of you in which we look back at
00:00:19.480
some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favorite rebels i'm your host
00:00:24.540
david menzies check it out peaceful protesting is illegal independent journalists are being
00:00:31.940
tackled by law enforcement you can't even hang out at a public park no i'm not speaking about
00:00:38.480
north korea folks but rather calgary alberta our man in cow town adam seuss has all the disturbing
00:00:45.360
details quick somebody call the dream police apparently the rank and file at the canadian
00:00:51.800
border service agency are a bunch of racists even if they don't say or don't do anything that is
00:01:00.400
remotely racist what sheila gun reed has all the surreal details and finally letters we get your
00:01:09.000
letters we get your letters every minute of every day and i'll share some of your responses about
00:01:14.260
the fact that the vaccine passport is history in ontario except that certain places in ontario like
00:01:22.340
the government-owned ontario place where the vax pass is still being strictly enforced hey premier
00:01:29.960
doug ford in between baking cherry cheesecakes can you please serve up an explanation for this
00:01:36.860
gross hypocrisy those are your rebels now let's round them up
00:01:41.760
adam sos here for rebel news with an update on some of the arrests that took place at the protest last
00:01:58.460
saturday now for those of you unfamiliar with the situation for nearly two years protesters have been
00:02:04.740
gathering opposing vaccine mandates and covid 19 restrictions largely without incident these have
00:02:10.880
been entirely peaceful protests until a few weeks ago counter protesters began to show up and the
00:02:17.100
following weekend after those counter protesters first showed up we actually saw smoke bombs going
00:02:21.100
off and police interactions with those counter protesters the following week mayor jyoti gondek
00:02:26.800
suggested that those protesters have every right to counter protest but the people marching for their
00:02:32.180
freedoms the people marching against these mandates they have no right to go into those communities
00:02:36.380
and to interrupt things jyoti gondek doesn't seem to realize that she doesn't get decide who protests
00:02:41.060
and who doesn't and she also doesn't get to say that one group of protesters who in fact were not obeying
00:02:46.380
the commands of police officers are within their rights and another group who is obeying the will of
00:02:51.360
the police and the orders of the police and how to proceed peacefully she doesn't get to say that that group
00:02:55.440
is not allowed that's not how it works well needless to say after she made those comments we saw dramatic
00:03:01.900
escalation more and more counter protesters showing up and the city even sought an injunction attempting
00:03:07.380
to make these protests illegal this categorically led to escalated enforcement from police and over that
00:03:14.580
weekend we saw numerous arrests interactions even fights breaking out all because of ultimately the police
00:03:21.780
enforcement and the words of mayor jyoti gondek we're going to be speaking in just a moment with
00:03:26.080
one individual who was simply having a conversation with police and then faced a dramatic arrest to get
00:03:31.700
his side of the story and his perspective on what happened so as i mentioned i'm now joined by devlin
00:03:37.880
gannon the young man who was arrested for daring to attend the protest um i guess first off you're
00:03:44.160
attending someone in your capacity as a independent journalist just covering the event i'm not there to cause
00:03:49.420
correct me if i'm wrong but i think you've been attending these protests effectively without
00:03:53.080
incident for almost two years is that right yeah i've been them there since the very get-go with a
00:03:58.380
camera and with the intention of just documenting what's going on and you know shedding light on the
00:04:03.760
point of view that's not really shared in the mainstream media everywhere so then what exactly lead
00:04:09.720
us for the people we've got some footage and we'll be certain to share that as well but lead us through
00:04:13.320
exactly what happened how it got to the point you were pinned on the ground shirtless the dramatic
00:04:18.040
arrest that we saw right well i mean i mean in comparison to other protests like you said it's
00:04:23.460
been going on for a long time so the day started out kind of normal we went to central memorial but
00:04:28.300
with the injunction that had been put forward by the court literally the night before um there was
00:04:34.100
no amplified noise devices there was all sorts of different things that were uh essentially hoops to
00:04:38.880
jump through in order to even be allowed in the park and don't get me wrong those hoops were all
00:04:43.440
jumped through there was no amplification devices there was nothing of the sort in that injunction
00:04:48.860
being broken um but because of the fact that there couldn't be amplification the rally itself and the
00:04:55.340
thousands of people peacefully marched towards city hall and this was a way different march than before
00:05:00.960
we've seen the police shut down the roads and escort us and take us there where this time we were
00:05:05.640
peacefully law-abidingly walking on the sidewalks using the cross lights and uh we made our way to
00:05:11.560
city hall we did our rally there we had a speaker system business as normal and uh since so many
00:05:18.340
people had parked by central memorial park everybody once it ended walked back there lawfully
00:05:25.220
peacefully following the the stoplights and the traffic signals and uh once we got back to the park
00:05:31.000
there was quite a large police presence there um and they just essentially started trying to push
00:05:36.720
like everybody out of the park so there you have it folks it looks like when it comes to the
00:05:41.100
democratic people's republic of calgary peaceful protesting is illegal freedom of the press is
00:05:48.080
no longer a thing and heck even strolling through a park is deemed to be illicit activity at least in
00:05:56.020
the eyes of the calgary police service what is going on in cow town these days well to hopefully provide us
00:06:03.780
with some answers to this grotesque assault on freedom is our man in calgary himself adam seuss so adam
00:06:12.320
uh how you doing my friend i'm doing wonderful how are you doing very good my friend thank you
00:06:17.380
so lots to unpack here but before we get to devlin ganon's situation i thought canadians you know had
00:06:25.680
this right to peacefully protest but apparently not in calgary these days what's going on here adam
00:06:31.960
yeah it's uh it's absolutely unbelievable to see we saw effectively for two years the calgary uh
00:06:40.040
police forces actually i mean in addition aside from the arrests of pastors and some of the other
00:06:45.200
extremely questionable stuff that we saw but in relation to these protests we did see them basically
00:06:50.960
accommodating facilitating ensuring things remain peaceful and we saw without virtually any incidents
00:06:56.780
whatsoever over the course of two years calgarians peacefully protesting it was a show of democracy a
00:07:03.860
show of fundamental rights um in in the highest form with no violence no conflicts a great atmosphere
00:07:10.460
of respect suddenly however a group of organized protesters some of them paid as admitted by calgary
00:07:18.040
police chief mark neufeld show up to counter protest the first week first two weeks first two times they
00:07:25.480
showed up they simply sort of stood by the side of the road but eventually escalated to them actually
00:07:29.860
blocking the road from an organized march with police directing them to move and them refusing so very
00:07:36.940
much a legal protest being blocked by an illegal protest well lo and behold calgary mayor jyoti gondek
00:07:43.840
who is more a progressive activist than a mayor her popularity is plunging dramatically within the city bad
00:07:50.540
decision after bad decision weighs in and says those illegal counter protesters who disobeyed the police
00:07:55.840
well in fact they are within the right because they're just protecting their communities we know
00:08:00.520
for a fact that some of those people aren't from those communities some very likely are but she weighed
00:08:05.140
in and politicized the entire thing and then she along with the city of calgary acquired an injunction
00:08:10.540
against these legal protests that had been going on for two years and that's when we saw the clampdown
00:08:16.480
begin on protests in this city but adam an injunction against what your democratic right to peacefully
00:08:23.020
protest surely she doesn't have the power to enforce such a document it goes against their
00:08:28.900
constitutional rights this is not happening on private property it's literally in the public square
00:08:33.640
is it not yeah yeah well and i mean we've seen whether it be like i said again pastor archer
00:08:38.580
pavlowski having worship interrupted a criminal code violation of people's right to speak being
00:08:44.640
treated with imprisonment uh chris scott up at the whistle stop it goes on and on the fundamental
00:08:49.620
violations of rights that we have seen and what what was so concerning about this is we saw the
00:08:55.600
situation in ottawa with the trucker convoy the freedom convoy it it maintained in relative peace
00:09:02.360
for an extended period of time in fact we saw crime go down in ottawa over that course of time then
00:09:09.200
politicians get involved they fire the police chief who chief who's keeping things peaceful
00:09:14.060
and they bring in a militant escalator um to to create that crazy hectic chaotic situation that
00:09:21.300
we saw in ottawa of which there's likely to be legal repercussions for the police force
00:09:25.520
and those involved for years to come well mayor joe t gondag i guess saw that and she very much
00:09:31.460
seemed to stipulate that the police chief needed to take action or he may face a similar fate to the
00:09:36.700
chief that was fired in ottawa so the police chief did actually come out and i i'm not going to give
00:09:43.160
him much credit because not much credit is due but he did flat out say that we can't single-handedly
00:09:48.120
clap down and lock up one side or the other side um we can't unilaterally enforce laws on one group
00:09:54.920
while disregarding them for another group and he actually in that statement said that the one
00:09:59.640
sort of side does certainly have paid protesters and there probably are some on the other side as
00:10:04.640
well so he he seemed to want to bring a degree of measure to it that is until the weekend rolled
00:10:09.680
around and this is when we saw um based on the words of jot gondek and uh other people the
00:10:15.880
counter protesters come they were more radicalized they're out in force uh sid was on location there
00:10:20.600
was antifa members there um and and we saw conflicts arise and then we saw some pretty dramatic
00:10:25.420
arrests unfortunately after two years of peaceful protests uh these uh these progressive politicians
00:10:31.360
seem to have a bit of bloodlust they like things to go chaotic yeah and they're very politically
00:10:37.060
motivated and none of this would be happening if that was a black lives matter march uh we know
00:10:42.180
that for certain in fact law enforcement would not only turn a blind eye at them they would actually
00:10:47.240
bend the knee and take part in the protest so it is so political but speaking of violent arrests and
00:10:54.060
takedowns uh devlin gannon the independent journalist i found that very disturbing he wasn't breaking any law
00:11:01.060
unless uh asking questions is now against the law in calgary and the way um that calgary police officer
00:11:09.280
uh just like like he he went off unhinged on him i don't know and didn't seem that uh gannon was saying
00:11:17.680
anything profane or or or what um what what happened there exactly adam what why were they so keen
00:11:25.600
to shut this guy down which was just an independent citizen journalist asking questions and again who
00:11:32.660
knows i mean i think they were there to make an example of people so what was happening is they're
00:11:36.800
simply just making their way through the park and kicking everyone out effectively um which i mean
00:11:41.260
the the injunction said that you can sit in a park you just can't have speakers there weren't speakers
00:11:45.360
this was actually post-protest so the people were just hanging around in a park as someone does but i
00:11:50.980
mean the government hates when when uh they spend money on things and people actually use them so
00:11:55.240
apparently they wanted to clear them out but he has been attending these protests for two years
00:11:59.860
without incident no conflicts he actually knew the one officer he was talking to not the one who grabbed
00:12:05.600
him but the other one that he was having a bit of a conversation with and he said well the protest is
00:12:09.360
over there's no amplification what's going on here and then this guy says well you can't gather in
00:12:13.760
groups of more than 50 in parks which is not part of the injunction in any way shape or form um so he
00:12:18.580
said he corrected him he said well that's that's not part of the injunction so what's actually going on
00:12:22.240
here then the other guy comes up and you can watch the footage and i urge people to watch it from both
00:12:26.500
sides because the officer actually grabs him and spins him some people were saying he kind of made a
00:12:30.600
move like a pull it's not the case at all the officer actually grabs him and spins him and then he
00:12:35.580
started saying well what are you doing then they grab him by his shirt so aggressively and pull it off
00:12:40.580
of him in the early stages of this sort of escalation which didn't need to happen he was moving
00:12:45.140
backwards and just having a calm conversation with an officer he knew the officer's name it was very cordial
00:12:50.280
and respectful um what happened was they were pulling him away and another person because the
00:12:56.320
whole sort of crowd shifted actually stepped to try and move out of the way and they stepped behind one
00:13:02.380
of the officers that officer then tripped over this other person whose name we don't even know and isn't
00:13:07.180
involved in this like he fell backwards they're actually filing assault charges against devlin even
00:13:12.820
though he was being held and was restrained and was being taken down they're saying that he threw
00:13:17.500
this officer reportedly those are the charges um in the video you can clearly see that that is not
00:13:23.080
what happened so at that point they bend him down on the ground and his legs are effectively underneath
00:13:27.500
him and they're bending him down and he says i'm not resisting i just can't bend this way like what
00:13:32.460
do you want me to do then they proceeded to tase him it was absolutely shocking to see um he's not
00:13:38.420
taking it lying down he's already uh sort of working on his legal efforts fighting back on the offensive
00:13:43.080
but it truly was shocking to see the senseless escalation in a time where all we talk about
00:13:48.360
is police strategies de-escalation serving the community well apparently when me or jr gt gondek
00:13:54.560
uh weighs in that all goes by the wayside they go around beating up journalists yeah you have to
00:13:59.340
wonder who the puppet masters are because i when i saw what happened to him uh adam i had a flashback to
00:14:05.540
last december when justin trudeau's royal canadian mounted henchman uh gave uh you know gave me a
00:14:12.660
physical beatdown for standing on a public sidewalk in toronto hoping to yell out a question to the
00:14:20.020
prime minister this is very disturbing um this this idea that uh depending on your political
00:14:27.040
ideology you're not allowed to protest in the public square if you're a not a member of the
00:14:32.640
mainstream media uh media party uh you are uh shunned and even beaten and falsely criminally charged
00:14:40.600
um you know one thing i want to get at i truly believe and we'll never be able to prove it i think
00:14:46.500
justin trudeau was behind uh the beatdown i got he saw me my mic flash he said to his thugs give him
00:14:53.060
the works uh with calgary mayor gondek i think she's the puppet master behind this too and you know adam i i've
00:15:02.440
spent time in calgary i find it to be pretty much a right of center town you know pro freedom pro
00:15:09.560
pipelines pro fossil fuels what i don't understand and explain for the rest of us who don't live in
00:15:15.740
calgary how come you keep getting these left-wing loonies in the mayor's chair how does that happen
00:15:22.220
you know i mean i did there's a there's a number of possibilities uh one of the weird things though
00:15:27.840
is so many of the polls had conservative jeremy farkas in the lead and the jot gondek came up
00:15:33.840
uh and a number of the wards the the sort of smaller votes for the the counselor positions
00:15:38.120
um all a number of the polls had conservative candidates winning and then they got absolutely
00:15:43.960
smoked on the voting day it was it's very bizarre like it was almost almost in every single case it
00:15:50.420
it was a dramatic swing on the last day as to who people voted for um i think one of the issues
00:15:56.500
though and i mean this is just political spitballing here but i think there are more organized efforts
00:16:03.380
and perhaps better funded efforts among the liberals to not compete with each other or among
00:16:08.420
the progressives to not compete with each other so they have their one riding their one candidate they
00:16:13.240
they throw a lot of money behind it there's a concerted effort on that front so jot gondek was very
00:16:19.980
much the progressive candidate on the other hand there was uh field and uh farkas and a number of
00:16:25.780
candidates lined up so there's some vote splitting going on um and and because of that i i think these
00:16:32.240
people are getting in but i think jot's uh i think jot dropped like less than 36 percent of approval
00:16:37.860
from 48 those numbers could be wrong but her approval is plummeting uh rapidly she's had she's
00:16:44.260
watched the arena deal i'm not all for spending a ton of money on the arena deal but she bought that
00:16:48.760
she spent a reportedly and we're still confirming this we're waiting for some information but a large
00:16:53.020
sum of money just to declare we're in a climate emergency um now she's targeting protesters who
00:16:58.380
don't align with her personal views she's very much an activist and an ideologue and she despite all
00:17:03.420
the lovey-dovey talk doesn't really care about the majority of calgaryens even some of those who voted for
00:17:08.340
her well adam we're gonna have to wrap it there and you know it's so sad because when you look at
00:17:12.900
classical liberalism they were all about freedom of the press freedom of expression freedom assembly
00:17:19.520
freedom of speech and now uh your new normal liberals it's all about if you're saying anything
00:17:26.800
offensive to our ideology we will shut you down even with force if need be it's a disgrace but adam
00:17:34.440
great report great interview with the the young journalists and uh thank you so much for joining
00:17:38.940
me and have a good weekend my friend thanks so much will do and that was adam seuss in calgary
00:17:45.160
keep with us folks more of rebel roundup to come right after this
00:17:48.540
today i have an enormous access to information document package from the canadian border services
00:18:06.720
agency on their unconscious bias training our access to all of these documents was made possible
00:18:12.360
through your crowdfunding donations to our special website at rebel investigates.com so thank you to
00:18:18.300
all of you who made this story possible now normally i don't have a lot of empathy for government
00:18:24.260
employees they're usually insulated from reality but my heart oozes for the cbsa staff who just want
00:18:29.960
to do their jobs and can keep canadians safe if only the liberals would let them on page 64
00:18:35.460
the border agents are told they can't say stopped when they are quite literally stopping a traveler
00:18:42.840
because that's to quote police force type language but again they are literally committing the act of
00:18:52.540
stopping a traveler and they are a quasi police force they're the border police right why wouldn't they
00:19:03.040
use police type language anyways let's keep going this next one i might giggle a little bit in it because
00:19:10.380
it is so stupid let's read it page 66 does unconscious bias apply to non-human factors like a plane and a
00:19:21.440
shipping container the answer bias might affect how we process a shipping container but in this course
00:19:27.520
we're talking about racial profiling so i'm not sure planes and shipping containers are strong examples
00:19:34.100
these people are so scared of being labeled a racist that they are seriously contemplating what race an airplane
00:19:43.700
is and what race a sea can is that's what we've come to let's keep going page 72 they try to explain what
00:19:51.620
unconscious bias is here but frankly it just leaves me a little bit more confused let's read it unconscious
00:20:00.380
bias is like going to lunch at the cafeteria because you're busy at work instead of trying a new
00:20:10.440
restaurant what going to lunch at the cafeteria because you're busy at work is a good use of your time
00:20:19.060
a responsible use of your time albeit i don't work in a government union so maybe that's not a
00:20:24.520
consideration for them but i don't know how this explains unconscious bias to me or anybody else let's
00:20:31.900
keep reading page 533 remember i told you there were a lot of documents to read through yeah we're on 533
00:20:39.280
the border guards union says their members are complaining about how racist
00:20:46.420
this racial profiling training as you know they might not be wrong let's keep going page 565
00:20:54.500
questions are being raised about why this training is being contracted out when cbsa people will have to
00:21:03.660
provide all the materials for it i guess the contention is that this is a make work project
00:21:10.900
for an outside contractor when it seems as though the agency itself is doing all the legwork in the
00:21:16.820
first place now why why would anybody like me think that this bias training is a bit of a scam
00:21:23.100
anyway let's keep reading page 637 everyone basically stops taking this whole thing seriously at this point
00:21:31.620
because here's the communication could you provide the correct answers or send the link to the storyboard
00:21:39.240
that will make it easier for us to pass the quiz friend no one passes these courses because they
00:21:47.440
come from a presupposed position that you are always racist no matter how unracist you are that's why
00:21:54.240
they call it unconscious bias it's just alleged to be there no matter what you actually do or say or think
00:22:03.260
let's keep going page 463 we see a document regarding a meeting with ottawa police about racial profiling
00:22:13.340
policies and they warn the cbsa about how nonsensical all this training is look at this they however warned
00:22:21.200
that the policy itself hasn't done much for them it is a nice to have but in reality the work happens
00:22:31.060
in the field ottawa police also warned them how expensive the anti-bias training consultants
00:22:36.580
they and toronto and the bc rcmp have hired r to the taxpayer now friends there's one anti-bias
00:22:46.000
training course that i wish the ottawa police had undergone and that's training to alleviate their
00:22:51.400
anti-free speech anti-peaceful protest or bias because those cops were pretty eager to call in
00:22:56.560
the pepper sprayers and the riot control horses over a bunch of bounty castles and street parties
00:23:02.220
with the convoy to ottawa ladies and gentlemen let us now briefly pause for a moment of silence
00:23:09.000
dedicated to the comedic geniuses behind such content as mad magazine and monty python's flying circus
00:23:17.060
because when it comes to being comedic being bizarre being downright surreal well these jokers have
00:23:26.360
nothing over the bureaucratic clowns writing racism clap trap manuals for the poor beleaguered employees
00:23:34.240
at the cbsa you heard it yourself even mundane words such as stop might be somehow construed as
00:23:44.560
racist what are the border guards supposed to say halt cease end terminate oh i don't know about
00:23:53.460
terminate that kind of conjures up images of a homicidal cyborg with a austrian accent and with more
00:24:01.720
on this heaping helping of social justice weirdo insanity is sheila gun reid hey sheila how you doing
00:24:10.600
there i'm great david thanks for having me on the show well thank you using the word weirdo yeah we're
00:24:16.680
bringing it back gee sheila i guess in the cbsa lunchroom the border guards better not oh i don't
00:24:24.100
know play that classic hit by the supreme do you know stop in the name of love but seriously do we
00:24:31.520
have an out of control racism problem at the cbsa or is this really a fix for something that isn't
00:24:39.600
even broken in the first place well that's the thing with unconscious bias training it assumes that
00:24:47.480
everybody is racist even when you're not even when you're not saying racist things even when you're not
00:24:52.660
doing racist things even when you're not thinking racist things this is a solution for a problem
00:24:59.100
that really doesn't seem to exist and that isn't manifesting itself in real time it's your racism is
00:25:05.980
so deep that it is somewhere in your unconscious and so you need to be re-educated to deal with it
00:25:12.740
so i guess the answer to your question is no there's not a racism problem there because they can't even
00:25:21.080
seem to find it on the surface um so they're trying to fix a thing that is buried so far deep that it
00:25:27.760
is clearly not affecting the work of cbsa agents and the thing is sheila as you mentioned in your report
00:25:34.080
the cbsa is indeed um a quasi law enforcement agency i mean they're preventing bad people and bad stuff
00:25:44.160
from getting into the country um the idea that there's some negativity according to these race
00:25:52.700
hustlers as being associated with law enforcement what's the deal with that i mean like what are we
00:25:59.540
supposed to do turn a bland blind eye to terrorists and bad substances from getting into the country
00:26:05.100
well that's the thing these border agents were told that they can't use police type language
00:26:12.660
they're the border police what are they supposed to say and they they're finding offense these racism
00:26:19.360
trainers with words like stopped because it was too much like a word that the cops would use
00:26:25.180
what do you call stopping someone if you can't call it stopping them they're already calling
00:26:31.040
everybody travelers um so they're using sort of these quasi gender neutral words already but they
00:26:38.660
can't even use the appropriate language to describe the actions that they're taking and it was through
00:26:45.520
the documents you could see the cbsa staff sort of twisting themselves in knots because they really
00:26:51.860
couldn't understand what was happening to them to the point where they just at the end threw in the
00:26:55.860
towel and said look can somebody just give us the answers to the quiz so that we can pass the quiz
00:27:00.560
get this over with literally that's what it says in the documents they became so confused by this
00:27:07.760
training as much as i did because i still went through it all and i really can't see how going
00:27:14.220
to lunch at the cafeteria this is one of the things they said unconscious bias is like going to lunch at
00:27:19.280
the cafeteria when you're busy at work instead of going to a restaurant to try something new i still
00:27:25.980
don't know what that has to do with unconscious bias training for me it speaks a little bit
00:27:30.500
more to the culture of being a government employee than anything that you would see somebody using
00:27:34.960
their time appropriately over their lunch break as a problem but they didn't really know at some point
00:27:41.940
they became confused about the race of ccans and airplanes they were wondering how unconscious bias
00:27:51.140
would affect the way that they were searching for contraband in ccans that were coming off boats or
00:27:57.940
trucks or airplanes when they were going through airplanes to search for contraband smuggling other
00:28:03.820
issues they were wondering okay well what race is the plane and how does all this apply um very
00:28:11.660
confusing for everybody involved and at the end you could see the beer even the bureaucrats were saying
00:28:16.720
i think this is racist and our staff are complaining that this is actually racist towards them this
00:28:22.900
presumption that they're all racist they don't like that and they it it was so bad at one point david
00:28:29.780
i couldn't believe i saw this government bureaucrats were complaining that this seems a little bit too
00:28:35.120
expensive for the um return on investment which is something you never hear government bureaucrats say
00:28:41.400
so that's how bad this all was wow geez maybe the budget will balance itself after all sheila but you know
00:28:47.760
here's the thing sheila i've been in every major airport in our great dominion i can tell you i have
00:28:55.520
seen the cbsa agents they are diverse as the population of canada itself so the question is when it comes to
00:29:04.040
this you know unconscious bias this you know uh deep-rooted racism that even when you don't say or do
00:29:12.260
anything racist you're still somehow racist does that include those members of the cbsa who are
00:29:20.340
visible minorities or are these race hustlers saying this is just kind of a white thing that's where i'm
00:29:28.200
a little confused here i think the implication here is that it's a white thing but if you are a visible
00:29:36.420
minority and you have unconscious bias then you are suffering from internalized white supremacy
00:29:43.800
the way that women like myself who are sort of anti-feminist and believe in traditional values
00:29:49.420
and traditional gender roles we have internalized misogyny they are suffering unfortunately from the
00:29:55.520
same thing and there were a lot of things that i couldn't even get like i couldn't even fit it all in
00:30:02.020
one video because there was so much and that's why we published the documents for these things in full
00:30:06.200
so if someone is curious wants to read through the documents for themselves they even the language
00:30:14.060
from the race anti-racism trainers which i guess is race they are kind of racist at least according to
00:30:21.040
the feedback from the cbsa agents who were subject to it they used bizarre gender neutral language to
00:30:27.220
describe the people who were forcibly shoehorned into this training against their will they call them
00:30:33.580
learners instead of students um i guess for social justice reasons that are imperceptible to somebody
00:30:41.940
like me unbelievable sheila one last question um is this sjw nonsense that you've exposed is this just
00:30:50.480
a one-off especially given you know you're oh no it's going to be like an annual this is the new
00:30:57.440
normal at cbsa is it this is the new normal across the whole of government um and this a lot of this
00:31:04.760
flows directly from the liberal government's pursuit of the gender-based analysis plus um lens that they
00:31:12.620
put all government contracts procurements programs projects all of that stuff has to go through this
00:31:20.260
gender-based analysis plus and everything the the plus means every um social justice demographic group as well
00:31:29.500
so this training is becoming the norm this is to the point where we are subjecting all levels of government
00:31:38.800
to this sort of nonsense um we are subjecting pipeline approvals to this sort of nonsense rail approvals
00:31:46.380
government procurements i've seen this stuff in government contracts to buy ppe this is the new norm
00:31:53.460
and i imagine it adds an exorbitant cost to just every single government program where you have these like
00:32:04.140
racism checklist lurkers standing over there making sure that there's no unconscious bias in anything that
00:32:11.320
ever happens within government absolutely fascinating and it's uh disturbing and it's despicable and you
00:32:18.280
know what i hope if and when we get regime change and we have a true conservative at the helm of the
00:32:24.440
conservative party who becomes prime minister i hope this nonsense this garbage this racism i mean what
00:32:31.340
they are doing is inherently racist they they don't even they seem to be the only one in in the room
00:32:37.580
that doesn't understand that uh because one of the things she'll is that these social justice uh warrior
00:32:43.360
uh anti-racism uh teachers how do we know they don't have unconscious bias why don't we turn the tables on
00:32:51.260
them anyways what i'm getting to they're cured they cured themselves david it's fine remember that latin
00:32:57.260
phrase which translates into english who watches the watchers that's what i want to know but i hope we have
00:33:03.460
this uh crazy progressive marxist crap flushed out of the system because a it's uh like i said before a
00:33:12.660
fix for a problem that does not exist and it costs way way too much of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars
00:33:20.320
it's despicable sheila that was a great report um i know there'll be more to come in the days and weeks
00:33:26.520
ahead there definitely will be because i filed for the cost of this contract because i want to know
00:33:32.720
exactly what it costs to tell a bunch of clearly not racist cbsa agents that they are racist anyway
00:33:38.840
i want to know how much it costs and who we paid to do it unbelievable sheila you have a great weekend
00:33:45.520
thanks david you too okay and that was sheila gun reid somewhere in the northern hinterland
00:33:52.580
of alberta keep it here folks more of rebel roundup to come right after this
00:33:56.720
david menzies for rebel news here at ontario place in toronto well folks as you may know
00:34:16.140
ontario got rid of the vax passport way back on march the first yeah the premier and the chief
00:34:23.380
medical officer of health kieran moore they decided uh enough is enough no more apartheid
00:34:30.240
when it comes to the citizens of ontario but then we heard that ontario place which is owned
00:34:37.320
by the provincial government is still mandating the vax pass how can this be and what's even more
00:34:45.560
inexplicable is that the ontario science center also owned by the government of ontario
00:34:51.320
is not mandating the vax pass so it's this whole hodgepodge of rules that doesn't make sense
00:34:57.340
and uh my colleague isabel and i we bought two tickets to see the new trolls movie oh can't wait
00:35:03.860
for that so i guess our caper today is to see if we will be allowed in and be able to watch uh this
00:35:11.720
movie without being asked for our government id and the vax passport and just in case we are asked
00:35:21.620
i got a backup plan check this out folks it's a temporary tattoo of a vax pass get it so let's go
00:35:32.640
in let's see if we can uh watch the movie get some coca-cola some popcorn with golden topping
00:35:40.140
whatever the hell that is and uh enjoy the trolls movie if that is indeed possible
00:35:44.640
hello how you doing there good uh do you mind if i see your proof of vaccination id please
00:35:50.940
sorry mind if i you see your proof of vaccination and id please oh that's uh yesterday's name my
00:35:57.200
friend that's over with well the government allows for businesses to uh choose whether or not they have
00:36:01.900
people show that when they're entering the site but you are the government ontario place is owned by
00:36:08.320
the province of ontario well it's the government gives businesses and government businesses
00:36:14.480
the choice to do that so if you want to come in uh unfortunately i have to check that this doesn't
00:36:19.880
make sense because ontario's chief medical health officer has waived that sir and uh premier agrees
00:36:27.660
with it unfortunately i'm not the person to talk to about changing the rules uh that's what i was told
00:36:33.240
to do so i have to uh i have to do that i'm not trying to give a hard time i'm just trying to figure
00:36:37.440
out uh the science center uh is also owned by the province they have an imax leader there's no
00:36:45.720
back pass rule there either oh i guess that was their business's choice i'm not entirely sure but uh
00:36:52.260
but it's the same business the province of ontario well it's i i don't know the fine details all i know
00:36:59.060
is that i have to check this can you tell me why i i need that when the chief medical health officer
00:37:04.980
said it's no longer required i mean um i'm not i honestly i'm just a you know a ticket person i don't
00:37:12.640
really know all about that so but i'm just wondering whoever you know whose decision it was at
00:37:18.560
um it's not on my phone but um it's a moot point because that on as of march 1st you don't have to
00:37:32.720
have a vats pass we're still doing it here till the 21st till the 21st that's what uh yeah that's what
00:37:38.480
is detailed sir can you tell me why the science center which is also provincially owned and they
00:37:45.280
have an imax related to the science center you're 100 related you're owned by the same entity
00:37:50.640
yeah but they run two different businesses it's it's still separate even though it's both under the
00:37:55.840
government but it's still operated by the crown though it's still you know and i'm just trying
00:38:00.700
to find out why i mean like you know if you have a uh even if you're double triple quadruple vaxxed
00:38:07.420
you can still transmit covid we know that yeah so what's the point no i completely agree with what
00:38:13.320
you're saying it's just you know it's it's just the way that uh we're you know what we were told
00:38:18.280
to do and you know like i said i would think you need as much business as possible there's not even
00:38:26.140
20 cars in the park okay i i don't have the uh vats pass qr code on my phone it's on my phone at home
00:38:37.060
but i have a temporary tattoo with it so if you want to scan that okay all right that's interesting
00:38:46.800
it's like brink's willis and 12 monkeys remember they have barcades it's not coming up as anything
00:38:52.020
i'm not sure it isn't what that's for it's a third party one maybe some sweat
00:38:56.020
is that okay try it now it's it's not recognized as a government thing i don't know what's going
00:39:03.820
on here it's not working right no what about if i slipped you a couple of bucks and you look the
00:39:17.980
other way okay so let me get this straight way back in july 2021 ontario premier doug ford said he
00:39:24.140
was adamantly against a vaccine passport for the province he didn't want a two-tier citizenship
00:39:30.980
status for the people of ontario of course within days ford would go on to perform one of those
00:39:37.720
spectacular 180 degree flip-flops on that policy and the vax pass was part of the new normal
00:39:44.940
fast forward to march 1st and the vaccine passport its history except that ontario place which is
00:39:52.300
owned by the government of ontario the very same government that tossed the vax pass on the scrap heap
00:39:59.700
of obsolescence what the hell in any event you had plenty to say about the government of ontario
00:40:06.720
essentially exempting itself from its own policy lava 1964 writes it was absolutely illegal to ask
00:40:17.680
for people's private medical information in 2019 why isn't this illegal now you know that's a great
00:40:24.720
point lava 1964 and i wonder about those restaurants demanding vax passes and masks what if you or i were
00:40:34.320
to ask the employees about their oh i don't know their sexually transmitted disease histories why not
00:40:42.160
they're handling our food after all shouldn't we have the right to know that too mike s writes there
00:40:51.360
needs to be some kind of law that prohibits medical discrimination in canada well mike that's what
00:40:58.940
makes the ontario place policy so bloody frustrating the provincial government revoked the mandatory vax pass
00:41:07.020
regulation on march 1st yet ontario place which is government owned they carry on enforcing the vax pass
00:41:15.780
so weird heidi mountain writes people are done with the qr codes the proof is the amount of cars in the
00:41:23.240
parking lot you know that's a good point heidi there were fewer than 20 people at that imax cinema on
00:41:29.880
that day you'd think the theater would welcome everybody back now that the restrictions are over
00:41:36.740
but no i mean with that amount of people in the cinema does it even make economic sense to screen
00:41:43.360
the movie in the first place rock on writes why does the government own these venues that's like the
00:41:50.920
government owning disneyland you know you're 100 correct rock on how is it the responsibility of any
00:41:58.460
level of government to own and or operate amusement parks liquor stores lotteries and casinos
00:42:05.780
government's role is to tax and regulate it's not to do business that should be conducted by those in
00:42:13.900
the private sector and razier writes love how david trolls the poor kid with the qr code stickered to his
00:42:23.280
forehead lmao and he thought david was being sincere to xt well to be honest razier my first inclination
00:42:32.360
was to stick that qr code on my ass that's how i really feel about these bloody medical apartheid
00:42:39.400
passports but then again that might have been a wee bit too pornographic so i settled for the forehead
00:42:46.640
