00:00:00.000 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen, and the rest of you, in which we look back at
00:00:19.640 some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I'm your host, David
00:00:24.360 Menzies. Well, a not-so-funny thing happened to our Quebec correspondent, Alexa Lavoie, the other
00:00:30.760 day. She was covering a story, and for reasons that remain inexplicable, the Quebec City Police
00:00:37.800 confiscated equipment, including an SD card, from her cameraman. Alexa has plenty to say about
00:00:46.480 these law enforcement goons who apparently think they are enforcing the law of Venezuela,
00:00:53.320 not Canada. So what's the deal regarding Natalie Klein and the Alberta government? Natalie operates
00:01:00.540 a barbershop in central Alberta, a barbershop that was fined for illegally reopening during the lockdown.
00:01:08.820 Those charges were eventually withdrawn by a Crown Prosecutor. Victory, right? Wrong. Because the
00:01:15.100 authorities have reissued lockdown tickets to her. Can you say abuse of regulatory authority? I can.
00:01:23.320 Sheila Gunn-Reed has all the details and letters. We get your letters. We get them every minute of
00:01:29.080 every day. And you had plenty to say about my visit to Justin Trudeau's Richmond Hill campaign stop
00:01:35.220 to prop up his disgraced candidate, Majid Johari. And speaking of disgraceful, not only did Justin not
00:01:43.820 take any questions, but I was actually physically roughed up by his RCMP bodyguards for absolutely no
00:01:51.460 good reason whatsoever. Those are your rebels. Now let's round them up.
00:01:55.460 Okay, everyone. This is a very serious video because freedom of the press is under attack. If it hadn't
00:02:09.940 happened to me, it would be hard for me to believe. First, I'm going to tell you what happened
00:02:17.220 to us. And then I'm going to ask you to help us. Let me explain. I went to a shopping center
00:02:25.860 in Quebec City with Guillaume, the freelance journalist who often works as my cameraman. Except
00:02:33.940 on this day, Guillaume was working for himself. That day, we were covering a protest led by François
00:02:44.180 Medega where people were simply going to shop without a mask. They just wanted to assert their right
00:02:52.100 to walk around freely without face covering. But here is where things get crazy for me and my friend.
00:03:00.760 The police were already on scene as François led the demonstration into the Walmart. I fought away
00:03:08.120 because I am a journalist following this story. And so did Guillaume. Totally normal so far.
00:03:15.720 Once inside of the Walmart, the protesters took off their masks. So the police moved in to remove them
00:03:22.840 from the store. François was arrested pretty roughly. And like the journalists that we are,
00:03:29.000 Guillaume and I documented everything. While I was filming the arrest of François, I turned around to
00:03:37.640 realize that Guillaume was surrounded by police. Two of them were grabbing at his camera asking him to turn it off.
00:03:47.560 We are journalists and we don't turn off our camera for anybody. Especially not in a public place where there is no
00:03:57.800 presumption of privacy and a new worthy event is happening. I started filming what was happening to Guillaume because I
00:04:08.440 didn't know if he was able to film or if the police had turned his camera off. One officer ordered Guillaume to turn his
00:04:19.240 camera over to the police so that they could have it for evidence or in court. Since when in Canada do we
00:04:29.080 size journalist cameras for evidence in court. If the police want evidence, they can use their own body
00:04:37.160 camera. They can use the surveillance footage at the Walmart. The only reason to size our footage would be
00:04:46.520 to hide how the police handled the demonstration that day. So I told the policeman that he had no warrant and no
00:04:58.920 right to take our equipment and he say he didn't need it. They even took the cameras back claiming they didn't know
00:05:10.920 what was inside it. Un-freaking-believable. Pardon my French. Since when did law enforcement in Quebec
00:05:20.120 take their cues from how police treat journalists in such countries as, oh I don't know, Venezuela and Iran?
00:05:27.560 What a disgraceful example of police, of policing in which the police actually broke the very law that they
00:05:36.040 have been entrusted to uphold. And joining me now with more on this story is our Quebec-based reporter,
00:05:43.480 Alexa Lavoie. Bonjour Alexa. Bonjour David. So Alexa, I really couldn't believe my eyes watching this
00:05:53.720 video. Simply put, the police, they just can't confiscate property without a search warrant.
00:06:00.120 So the question is this, are these bully boy cops ignorant of the law or do they simply not care?
00:06:11.000 Actually, they are just not caring about what I was saying because I told them, I told them what is the law
00:06:19.800 and what the answer to me, I'm a journalist, not a lawyer. But I was like, if you know that I'm a journalist,
00:06:25.640 you probably know that you cannot take our property, our footage. So why are you doing that to us?
00:06:36.200 And Alexa, that is indeed the crux of the matter. Why were they taking our property? Why did they want
00:06:44.520 the footage on that SD card in the first place?
00:06:47.400 If they say that they want this for proof in court, but I was like, okay, but Walmart have surveying,
00:06:57.080 surveillance camera and the shopping mall as well. And you have your body camera. Why taking our footage
00:07:07.000 for proof? It's the only footage that we have that you will probably don't like. It's,
00:07:13.400 it's always your behavioural against us. So I don't know why they wanted our footage
00:07:23.560 instead of taking the footage from the shopping mall. I don't get that.
00:07:31.480 No, I don't get it either. In fact, Alexa, if what they say is true, we wanted video evidence
00:07:37.960 of you being in this Walmart store. Well, their body cams and the Walmart surveillance footage would be
00:07:46.360 superior evidence because they're showing the macro view. They're showing you, the photographer.
00:07:52.280 Otherwise the photographer, he's not in his own camera lens of what he's shooting. So it doesn't make sense to me.
00:07:58.680 I think it's more like they wanted to show their power. They wanted to, again, abuse of their power
00:08:09.720 against us. At the beginning, they didn't want it just the SD card. They wanted the full camera,
00:08:15.400 keeping a camera that have a really, not just a big value, but it's our tool for work. So why taking
00:08:24.920 not only this, but the camera as well. And when I say you have no warrant to take it
00:08:33.560 and you have no authorization, they say, I will call my superior. And if they say that, um,
00:08:42.600 something else, I will give you back your, your camera. I was like, no, it's not what, how it would
00:08:50.440 work. Give us our stuff, our tool and our like camera back because I'm not giving you my authorization
00:09:01.400 and I'm not doing, uh, you anything that you can take this from us and you have no warrant. So if you
00:09:10.440 want to keep it, give me your warrant from the court. Oh, a hundred percent, Alexa. I mean,
00:09:18.760 I think what I would have said to them is, oh, uh, newsflash, the law applies to your supervisor.
00:09:26.760 It's, I mean, it's just unbelievable. Tell me a hypothetical question, Alexa, if your photographer,
00:09:33.640 if he had turtled, if he held onto his camera and said, no, this is mine, you don't have a warrant.
00:09:39.320 Do you think things could have gotten ugly? Yes. So actually, um, at the beginning, they,
00:09:47.240 they stopped, they stopped the camera or on the, um, the camera of my, uh, friend Guillaume,
00:09:55.080 they literally take the camera on his neck, stop it. And they grab the camera on his neck and they
00:10:04.600 remove it because he didn't want it. And he didn't give them the authorization to take it. And because
00:10:13.160 of that, the, um, the police officer started to be really arrogant and impassioned and he yelled to him,
00:10:21.560 him, give me your camera. Do not argue. It's a proof in court. And I was like, what?
00:10:30.760 You know, it's amazing, Alexa. I mean, I go back to April when we had the houseboat, uh,
00:10:35.560 rented in Montreal. We were four people under capacity. We had a 10 and a half hour showdown,
00:10:42.360 uh, with the police. They were going to, I understand multiple judges trying to get a search
00:10:47.800 warrant. And the, and when the judge would hear what the reason was, he was saying, are you kidding
00:10:52.680 me? But that was, I thought a total abuse of their authority, you, you, you know, and for what you want
00:10:59.400 to go into a houseboat and search the belongings, uh, and the rooms of journalists. I mean, we're not,
00:11:06.120 you know, a drug cartel that just came down to St. Lawrence. So there, there's just something really
00:11:12.920 weird about, you know, uh, the policing in Quebec, you know, based on that incident and based on what
00:11:20.280 happened to you, which, which I thought was, was so outrageous, but tell me, Alexa, that was, um,
00:11:25.480 several days ago. Do you have any update, uh, for us right now? Have, has the police reached out to us?
00:11:31.960 Uh, has there been any apology? Uh, have the, uh, has the equipment been returned? Anything like that?
00:11:38.760 Not at all. We have actually, um, revenues have sent like, uh, um, a letter to claim that we want our
00:11:51.240 property back to us, but we don't have any update and no, nothing like no call, no apologize. And I
00:12:02.680 actually, um, um, I had another like interaction with another police that, uh, were really aggressive
00:12:10.200 last night with me, just because he saw the rebel news, like outlet on me. So I was like, what is
00:12:16.840 going on with the police with like, uh, rebel news? Why being as aggressive to us? Do I'm probably sure
00:12:24.840 that they will not doing that to CBC or TVA or other like, um, media? It's just because it's,
00:12:33.560 it's probably us and we, we make them like, uh, afraid. I don't know.
00:12:37.480 Oh, Alexa, let me tell you, my friend, if that happened to a CBC journalist, there'd already be a
00:12:43.480 royal commission struck right now to find out, uh, why that journalist was, uh, so mistreated. Well,
00:12:49.880 listen, it was an outstanding video. Um, it's an outrageous video. And I feel that the cops are
00:12:57.560 going to learn the hard way in court. They cannot operate above the law, even though they are police.
00:13:04.600 Alexa, you have a wonderful weekend, my friend. You too. Thank you. Thank you so much. And that was
00:13:11.400 Alexa Lavoie in Quebec City. Keep it here, folks. More of Rubble Roundup to come right after this.
00:13:19.880 Oh, it's been stressful. Um, but you know, I have confidence in my, uh, my legal defense,
00:13:35.720 my counsel, Chad Williamson at Williamson Law. And he's been fantastic with, uh, handling all these
00:13:45.080 court proceedings. And, you know, I really can't wait for my day in court on September 13th, but I
00:13:52.040 think it does take someone to stand up and put their foot down and say enough's enough of this BS.
00:13:59.800 And, uh, at the end of the day, I'm still going to open my business. I'm still going to be here.
00:14:04.920 I'm not going to mandate any vaccine passport or any, as for any medical history from anybody.
00:14:13.320 And whether someone chooses to walk through my door and support me, I will always be here,
00:14:19.160 regardless of your medical status, race, anything. Natalie was immediately recharged with those same
00:14:27.240 offenses, the same ones that were previously withdrawn by the Crown prosecution. We're alleging that this
00:14:34.680 take back of the withdrawal and a reissuing of these identical charges amounts to an abuse of
00:14:41.560 process. Central Alberta businesswoman Natalie Klein is suing the government and the police
00:14:47.160 for abuse of process in her COVID lockdown ticket case, but she needs our help to do it.
00:14:54.440 Do you remember Natalie Klein? She's the Central Alberta barbershop owner who defied the lockdown
00:15:09.560 restrictions on personal care businesses. She reopened her barbershop to the open arms of her
00:15:15.800 community. And I guess, to some extent, the jealousy and resentment of other local area salon owners who
00:15:21.960 are unwilling or unable to take the same stand she did. Well, in Natalie's case, the customers came
00:15:30.360 to support Natalie, but the cops also came and so did Alberta Health Services inspectors. They issued
00:15:36.600 her tickets and they tried multiple times to close her down. But Natalie inspired others to stand up and
00:15:43.000 reopen their businesses too. And her act of rebellion made the Jason Kenney so-called conservative
00:15:50.040 government roll back restrictions on salons and barbershops. And oh, by the way, did I mention
00:15:56.040 Natalie Klein is also the niece of late great conservative Premier Ralph Klein, beloved still by so
00:16:03.320 many people and so well respected in official conservative circles, including those frequented by
00:16:10.680 Premier Jason Kenney himself. Now, when Natalie Klein got her lockdown tickets, we were there to help
00:16:16.520 all of us, you and me. We offered Natalie some legal help through fightthefines.com. That's our largest
00:16:23.880 civil liberties project to date. We use crowdfunding and an important partnership with the registered
00:16:31.320 Canadian charity, the Democracy Fund, to connect average people, the victims of the lockdown,
00:16:38.280 with top criminal and civil litigators to fight their lockdown tickets in court at no cost to those who
00:16:45.640 are getting the tickets. And in Natalie's case, it worked. Natalie's two lockdown tickets were tossed
00:16:51.960 out. She and her lawyer, Chad Williamson from Williamson Law, both received a letter from the Crown
00:16:59.400 prosecutor in the case confirming that her tickets were withdrawn. It was an exciting day. I was actually there
00:17:06.200 with Natalie in front of the Red Deer Hotel Conference Centre that was doubling as a COVID court the day she got the news.
00:17:16.280 But then the police recharged Natalie for the same offence, even though the Crown threw her tickets out.
00:17:22.040 The police wanted another kick at the can, even after the prosecutor said the whole affair
00:17:29.640 should be said and done and over. Well, it doesn't work like that in Canada. The police can't keep charging
00:17:36.520 you and charging you and charging you until they finally get the result they want. The police and the
00:17:42.600 government here are abusing the process, continuing to put Natalie Klein through the ringer over and over
00:17:50.840 again. Why? Because she stood up and she spoke out and she encouraged others to do the same. So Natalie
00:17:59.240 is suing the government for abuse of process and we're helping her do it. Well, folks, as the old saying
00:18:06.600 goes, sometimes the best defence is a strong offence and that is exactly what Miss Klein is doing now.
00:18:13.640 She's standing up to the bullies in the Alberta government who are seemingly on some sort of vindictive
00:18:19.640 jihad to shut her business down. But beyond that, what is this business of the authorities
00:18:27.480 constantly charging Natalie over and over again on the same withdrawn charges, no less, until they can
00:18:35.640 finally get a result to their liking? Unbelievable. And joining me now for more on this story is Sheila
00:18:43.640 Gunn-Reed. How are you doing there, Sheila? I'm great, David. Thanks for having me on the show.
00:18:48.120 Fantastic. Always a pleasure. Sheila, surely what's been happening to Natalie is not a thing. This business of
00:18:56.120 getting prosecuted on the same charges over and over again. This has got to be abuse of authority, no?
00:19:05.160 Well, that's what we think and that's what Natalie thinks and that's what our lawyer Chad Williamson
00:19:09.720 thinks that this is a charter violation and it is also abusive process. These tickets were withdrawn. I
00:19:17.320 was there the day that Natalie got the news. We were overjoyed because Chad Williamson had effectively
00:19:23.400 worked with the Crown to get these charges withdrawn. And then the police and Alberta Health Services
00:19:31.720 recharged her with the same tickets. And so, you know, thank goodness for fight the fines because
00:19:38.280 what person could go up against a government that just goes from bureaucracy to bureaucracy
00:19:45.160 trying to recharge you and find you guilty over and over again of the same thing? I'm so glad we're
00:19:51.560 able to help Natalie. First, we've got to get rid of those tickets. But at the same time, we're going
00:19:57.160 to sue the government for abusing their power and abusing the process by continuing to go after Natalie
00:20:03.960 after a Crown prosecutor has said, this is not in the interest of the public. We probably can't make
00:20:09.400 these things stick. Let's get rid of them. The police can't overrule the Crown when they do those sorts of
00:20:16.120 things. Sheila, Chad is a legal superstar. I mean, I can think of a few other lawyers I'd want in my
00:20:23.640 corner other than Chad. He's so good. What has he told you about what Natalie is going through? Is this,
00:20:31.240 I don't want to use the word unprecedented if that's not the right word, but it must be so rare.
00:20:38.200 Sure. Yeah, it's certainly something that does not happen all the time. And in the video, Chad's
00:20:46.840 comments sort of allude to the fact that they are making an example of Natalie because she said
00:20:52.120 disparaging things rightfully so about the government and their attacks on small business in the media.
00:20:58.520 She's been highly critical of Alberta health services. And so they are using the police to
00:21:04.920 execute a vendetta against her and punish her for her political comments that she's made in the media.
00:21:10.760 And I think they're trying to really make an example of her, trying to show other businesses,
00:21:18.600 if you speak up, we're going to come for you. If you reopen, we're going to come for you.
00:21:23.400 And if we do charge you, you better shut up about it. But you know, Sheila, in the department of when
00:21:29.000 it rains, it pours. Hasn't Natalie Klein suffered enough? You have another video on a completely
00:21:35.400 different subject matter involving Ms. Klein. It's her adverse reaction to the vaccine.
00:21:43.880 Why are they, you know, I'm getting a little emotional here because I don't understand that with
00:21:50.440 all the arduous difficulties she had to go through in maintaining a business and creating a livelihood for
00:21:56.840 her family. She's also got side effects from the shot and still they're going after this woman.
00:22:03.080 Why? Yeah, they're treating her like public enemy number one. And all she did was open her three
00:22:10.360 chair barbershop. That's all she did. She has three chairs in her barbershop. Nobody's in there that
00:22:16.280 doesn't want to be in there. The community came out to support her. She's not running around to
00:22:21.640 people's houses and cutting their hair in their sleep against their will.
00:22:25.160 She opened her little tiny barbershop. She was only seeing one client at a time inside her
00:22:30.200 barbershop. She was using all the sanitary protocols that the government was telling her a couple weeks
00:22:35.640 earlier would be enough to keep her her barbershop open. That's what she originally received the tickets
00:22:41.640 for. And this after Jason Kenney thanked personal care businesses for the job they did during the pandemic.
00:22:48.040 And I apologize for unfairly targeting them. Then he closed her business. She reopens. She gets these
00:22:55.640 two tickets. She fights the tickets. Tickets get thrown out. The government recharges her with the
00:23:02.440 tickets. She's got to continue to fight those. In the meantime, her mom is sick. So she takes the
00:23:07.960 Moderna vaccine, even though she was skeptical about it, but she wanted to do her part. She has a cascade
00:23:14.520 of catastrophic reactions, a stroke, heart problems, twice nearly going into cardiac arrest. She's
00:23:21.880 dealing with lasting neurological issues from this. And the government is still pursuing her like she's
00:23:28.680 the second half of Bonnie and Clyde. I don't know how any of this and all these wasted resources are in
00:23:34.360 the public's interest. She's not a danger to anybody. The government is a danger to her.
00:23:39.240 Oh, I totally agree. But, Sheil, on the subject of the science, it's all about the science.
00:23:45.160 You mentioned the sanitary and hygiene protocols that barbershops adhere to. Long before anyone ever
00:23:51.960 heard of COVID, these kind of shops adhered to a higher level of sanitation and hygiene than,
00:23:58.680 you know, the average, oh, I don't know, big box store, which was still allowed to operate,
00:24:03.880 cramming hundreds into their facilities. How does that make sense? I don't understand, Sheila.
00:24:11.960 Well, and that's the thing. That's why Natalie reopened. Because she's like, you can go into the
00:24:17.240 Walmart, buy your own clippers with a million other people, walk through the store, touch everything.
00:24:24.840 That's fine. But you couldn't come, be the only person in her barbershop and get a haircut from her
00:24:31.880 when she is following the highest standards of health protocols. She's like, I know how to make
00:24:38.920 sure that you don't get hepatitis and lice. Surely I can make sure that you don't get a cough. And yet,
00:24:44.360 that wasn't enough. But apparently not. One last question, Sheila. Family relationships aside,
00:24:50.360 if the late, great Ralph Klein was still among the living, what do you think he'd have to say about this
00:24:57.320 story? I'm a bit of a scholar on Ralph Klein. And I know that one of the things that he was most brave
00:25:05.240 about, one of the things that the left most hates about him, and that conservatives most revere about
00:25:10.840 him, is that he was scared of no one. And he was scared to do, like he was never scared off anything,
00:25:20.840 based on pressure from the media and based on pressure from the public sector unions. And we
00:25:26.040 know a lot of this pandemic hysteria is driven by both the media and the public sector unions.
00:25:32.520 Jace, I almost said Jason Kenney as though he were Ralph Klein, but that couldn't be further from the
00:25:38.280 truth. Ralph Klein stared down the public sector unions and the healthcare unions and made cuts where
00:25:45.320 he needed to. And he wasn't scared to do what was right for Albertans. And I think Jason Kenney is
00:25:51.480 more scared of the public sector unions and the media than he is scared of the wrath of Albertans.
00:25:57.320 And I think that's the difference between the two men.
00:26:00.280 I think you're right, Sheila. And how sad, be it the municipal, the provincial, and even the federal
00:26:05.000 level, where have all the Ralph Clines gone to? How sad. Sheila, it was an excellent piece. I hope
00:26:11.720 things get better for Natalie and I know you'll be keeping tabs on that. And I hope she slaughters
00:26:20.600 the government with this suit coming up. She sure as heck deserves it, at least in my book. So thank
00:26:26.600 you, my friend, and you have a great weekend. Thanks, David. And if people want to help Natalie
00:26:31.560 fight the government, they can donate at fightthefines.com. She's just one of nearly 2,500 other
00:26:37.400 people that were helping take on their lockdown tickets, fines, infractions, and sometimes criminal
00:26:42.600 charges in court. Fantastic. Thanks so much, Sheila. And that was Sheila Gunn-Reed, somewhere in the
00:26:48.680 northern hinterland of Alberta. Keep it here, folks. More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.
00:26:53.560 Mr. Schurdo, why don't you take a day off campaigning and work the phones in terms of the
00:27:03.560 Afghanistan humanitarian crisis? Again, you guys are walking into me, you know that?
00:27:07.800 You just put the camera in my head. No, no, no. You walked into me. I'm just standing there. I was
00:27:11.400 standing there 10 minutes ago. No, no. You walked into me, sir. That's technically assault, okay?
00:27:17.640 You should know that if you're an officer of the law.
00:27:22.600 Why do you call Mr. Johari a good man, Mr. Trudeau? He supports the biggest state sponsor of
00:27:28.360 terrorism in the world, Iran. Wow.
00:27:37.480 David Menzies for Rebel News here in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Well, folks, we are at a gathering of
00:27:43.800 food trucks. That's not the story, of course. I wish them well. But we're here because we've
00:27:48.120 been tipped off that Justin Trudeau is going to be dropping by to prop up, if you can believe it,
00:27:54.600 the disgrace of a Liberal candidate that is Majid Johari. This is the man who props up the Iranian
00:28:01.720 regime, much the chagrin of so many Persians that are a significant minority here in Richmond Hill.
00:28:08.760 Do you remember me trying to scrum Mr. Johari last Saturday? Check it out.
00:28:12.200 Please wait. Even Liberals have denounced you, uh, Mr. Johari.
00:28:15.400 Uh, I don't know what you're talking about. Can you kindly wait?
00:28:18.200 You are associated with someone who is under investigation by CSIS,
00:28:22.760 who has contributed to your campaign. What do you have to say about that?
00:28:25.960 I've responded to that question already.
00:28:27.880 Oh, okay. Can you respond right now, sir?
00:28:29.480 Um, I, that was in a social gathering and I found that in Vancouver.
00:28:34.040 When was that picture taken?
00:28:37.000 Hey, how you doing, officer?
00:28:38.120 How are you?
00:28:39.000 Good. Are you here for me?
00:28:42.920 We've been calling for something.
00:28:44.280 Okay. Okay, then why are you walking so close to me?
00:28:47.720 Stop. Because you're in my, you're in my area.
00:28:50.040 Okay. Well, you told me to come outside and I acquiesce to your demand, Mr. Johari.
00:28:53.800 I've answered all your questions. It's better that you stop.
00:28:56.200 Maybe this is a case for a detective or something to look into. I mean...
00:28:59.880 You're telling me CSIS is investigating. I think it's a Bomar Pace killer.
00:29:02.760 Okay. Okay, then.
00:29:04.520 Okay, so we're going to wait here. We're going to wait for the arrival of, uh,
00:29:08.680 Prime Minister Trudeau and Mr. Johari. And we're going to try to ask questions.
00:29:13.480 I'm not hopeful of answers, but we're going to ask questions nevertheless.
00:29:20.440 Hey, Prime Minister Trudeau, why are you supporting somebody that supports the Iranian regime?
00:29:24.920 Mr. Trudeau, why are you supporting a candidate here, Majid Johari, that supports the Iranian regime?
00:29:32.440 Can you answer that?
00:29:34.760 Mr. Trudeau, what do you have to say about our disgrace in Afghanistan?
00:29:39.320 Mr. Trudeau, why do you support a candidate who associates with somebody who is under CSIS investigation?
00:29:46.680 Who is being described as a threat to national security?
00:29:50.760 Mr. Trudeau?
00:29:51.560 Mr. Trudeau, why are you walking into me, sir?
00:30:00.440 I can reach over if I want. I'm in a public place. Who are you?
00:30:03.400 Mr. Trudeau, I'm a bodyguard.
00:30:04.520 Mr. Trudeau, oh, really? Okay, can I see your ID?
00:30:07.800 Can I see your ID, sir?
00:30:08.840 Mr. Trudeau, stand below.
00:30:09.640 Mr. Trudeau, what's your name and badge number?
00:30:12.680 Mr. Trudeau, I'm not getting into that right now.
00:30:13.640 Mr. Trudeau, I'm in a public place. I'm in a public place and I'm not moving, okay?
00:30:21.560 Mr. Trudeau, just keep it on the other side.
00:30:23.880 I'm in a public place, sir.
00:30:25.080 Mr. Trudeau, I'm in my face, though.
00:30:25.880 Mr. Trudeau, I'm in my face.
00:30:26.760 Well, you got into my face.
00:30:28.280 Mr. Trudeau, your hands trembling above my head. What are you doing up there?
00:30:30.360 I'm trying to film the Prime Minister.
00:30:32.520 What do you think it is, a gun? Come on, give me a break.
00:30:34.360 Mr. Trudeau, why do you support a candidate who supports the Iranian regime?
00:30:41.320 Why are you bumping into me?
00:30:42.440 Mr. Trudeau, why are you getting your camera in my face?
00:30:44.440 I'm not. You're getting in my face.
00:30:46.600 Mr. Trudeau, what do you say about us leaving our Afghanistan allies behind?
00:30:53.160 Why have you called this election, Mr. Trudeau?
00:30:58.680 Mr. Trudeau, why won't you answer the questions?
00:31:00.760 Well, that was the scene last Friday when Justin Trudeau and his not-ready-for-prime-time players,
00:31:06.680 a.k.a. his thuggish Mountie bodyguards, who like to literally step on my toes for reasons that elude me,
00:31:14.120 dropped by Richmond Hill to prop up one of the more odious members of the Liberal Party of Canada,
00:31:20.280 that being Majid Johari, a.k.a. the Persian Pinocchio.
00:31:24.280 In any event, you had plenty to say about yet another disgraceful event on the Trudeau 2021 campaign trail.
00:31:33.640 John Doherty writes,
00:31:35.180 How dare you do journalism during a stage media event? Grrr.
00:31:39.780 Yes, John, apparently asking questions of Justin during selfie time is a hate crime.
00:31:46.900 Either that or our Prime Minister is deaf.
00:31:50.360 Paul Hyde writes,
00:31:51.880 Oh, Paul, I often try to do just that, but they literally run away when they see me coming.
00:32:02.520 Remember when I walked up to the Globe and Mail reporter Marike Walsh a few weeks ago in Barrie, Ontario?
00:32:08.940 Here, check it out.
00:32:10.280 Are you with the mainstream media?
00:32:11.500 Not talking to you.
00:32:12.960 Oh, it says media.
00:32:15.540 Marike Walsh.
00:32:16.460 Just wondering, getting government money, do you think you can objectively report on Prime Minister Trudeau, Marike?
00:32:24.520 Ms. Walsh, are you able to be non-biased in your reporting, even though you're getting paid by the Trudeau Liberals?
00:32:32.380 Yeah, so how does that three blind mice lyric go?
00:32:35.080 Oh, yes.
00:32:35.800 See how they run.
00:32:37.220 See how they run.
00:32:38.320 And, hey, how do you like it, folks, that your tax dollars are propping up these cowardly stenographers?
00:32:45.660 John Doe writes,
00:32:47.180 David, you are doing an amazing job.
00:32:49.460 Rebel News needs funding to ensure your continued coverage of this election.
00:32:54.040 Here is my $200 now.
00:32:57.080 Wow, John, thank you so much for the kind words, and thank you so much also for your generosity.
00:33:02.360 It's funny, some in the mainstream media mock us for our crowdfunding initiatives,
00:33:08.240 but to me, this is the most honest way of raising money, simply asking for it.
00:33:13.860 Compare that to the mainstream media folks that embraces a negative option billing system.
00:33:19.300 You know, your donation to these lapdogs come out of your paycheck on a regular basis, whether you like it or not.
00:33:28.140 SC writes,
00:33:29.060 I'm surprised Trudeau didn't run into Doug Ford at the cheesecake truck.
00:33:35.240 Oh, poor Premier Ford.
00:33:37.880 I guess his staff forgot to tell him that there was a ton of cherry cheesecake waiting for him in Richmond Hill that day.
00:33:44.840 Oh, heads are going to roll on this one, I'll tell you, folks.
00:33:48.780 Turbo TDI writes,
00:33:50.700 That was juicy, but he's a drama teacher, and there was sure a lot of drama.
00:33:55.720 Hey, Turbo TDI, get your facts straight.
00:33:59.060 Justin Trudeau was a part-time drama teacher, okay?
00:34:03.180 Stop insulting all the full-time drama teachers who toil in our great dominion, will you?
00:34:09.440 Jacob Urban writes,
00:34:11.080 Johari loves Iran more than he loves Canada.
00:34:14.580 Well, you know, Jacob, I've lived in Richmond Hill for more than 20 years now.
00:34:18.500 This city has a significant Iranian population, and I'll tell you, the Persians I have met here are great people, folks who fled the Islamofascist regime that their homeland had become after the 1979 revolution.
00:34:34.120 It is downright baffling that the pro-regime Johari is a member of parliament, but then again, let it be said, these liberals have an inexplicable soft spot in their hearts for terrorism, don't they?
00:34:49.220 Some examples.
00:34:51.620 In addition to Johari, we have our own homegrown Al-Qaeda terrorist and murderer, Omar Khadar, receiving $10.5 million for essentially suffering from hurt feelings.
00:35:04.340 And let's not forget that during his disastrous India trip, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invites along Jaspal Atwal, who is a member of an illegal Sikh separatist group and who was convicted of attempted murder.
00:35:19.200 Then there was Mark Garneau the other day suggesting that it's possible Canada might recognize the Taliban as the new government of Afghanistan.
00:35:27.580 And, of course, we had the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, a.k.a. Mariam Monsef, of No Fixed Address, referring to the butchers and barbarians that make up the Taliban as brothers.
00:35:41.780 Yep, I don't get it either.
00:35:44.460 Well, that wraps up another edition of Rebel Roundup.
00:35:46.940 Thanks so much for joining us.
00:35:48.320 See you next week.
00:35:49.140 And, hey, folks, never forget, without risk, there can be no glory.
00:35:53.060 Good night.
00:35:57.580 Good night.
