00:00:00.200 Hello, my Rebels. Today on the podcast, I talk with Arthur Pavlovsky, the Lion of Calgary.
00:00:06.720 He actually had an amazing courtroom victory on Friday that I don't think is being reported
00:00:12.360 anywhere. I'll tell you about it and the strange way it happened. But first, let me invite
00:00:16.220 you to become a subscriber to Rebel News Plus. That's the video version of this podcast.
00:00:20.480 It's eight bucks a month, but you get all the video. I mean, we don't just show you
00:00:24.900 who we're talking to, but we often have video clips and charts and images. We really put
00:00:29.320 some effort into it. I think you'd get a kick out of it. And eight bucks a month might
00:00:33.100 not sound a lot to you, but I tell you, it really adds up for us here. And that's how
00:00:36.580 we run our company, because we don't take any handouts from Trudeau and it shows. Just
00:00:40.440 go to rebelnewsplus.com. All right, here's today's show.
00:00:59.320 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:01:12.840 Before there were the truckers, before there was the great festival of freedom in Ottawa,
00:01:18.720 before the Coutts blockade in the Windsor Ambassador Bridge, there was one man who stood up and rallied
00:01:27.240 not just his country, but indeed the world. You remember the clip? And his telltale accent,
00:01:33.200 get out! Get out! He said, remember this clip?
00:01:38.240 Please get out. Get out of this property. Immediately get out. Get out of this property.
00:01:45.540 Immediately. Out. I don't want to hear anything. Out of this property. Immediately. I don't want to hear a word.
00:01:51.080 Out. Out. Out. Out. Out. Out of this property. Immediately out. Immediately go out and don't come back.
00:02:13.020 I don't want to hear a word. I don't want to hear a word. I don't want to hear a word. I don't care what you have to say.
00:02:23.620 Out. Out. Out. Out of this property, you Nazis. Out. Out.
00:02:30.560 Well, that man is Arthur Pawlowski, and indeed he was one of the first victims of lockdown bullying by our police.
00:02:59.480 In fact, he was client number one of the Fight the Fines project. It was very early days, just weeks into the lockdown.
00:03:08.580 You know what they said, two weeks to flatten the curve. And Arthur Pawlowski was doing what Arthur does.
00:03:13.320 He was in the streets. It was snowing, and he was feeding the homeless and the hungry.
00:03:18.620 The lowest of the low, though so low they're sometimes not even allowed, into homeless shelters.
00:03:23.500 He was out there feeding them. And police came up to him, physically pushed him around, and gave him a massive fine.
00:03:31.540 Forget this. Having an illegal gathering. This is a video that so enraged me, I called up Pastor Arthur and said,
00:03:39.860 we've got to fight back. And he became the first client. Take a look and remember what it was like early in 2020.
00:03:47.100 This is not an event. This is not your picnic in the neighborhood for the fun of it.
00:03:54.140 We are providing necessities of life to those that you and your bosses refuse to provide.
00:04:01.740 You've got all kinds of events happening right now, and yet the Congress finest are not bothering them.
00:04:11.200 This is the hypocrisy of this city. This is the hypocrisy of our wonderful, fearless leaders.
00:04:19.120 Where is the head named she? The mayor of this city.
00:04:22.580 Can you guys do the respectful social distancing?
00:04:24.760 Stand back from me a little bit. I need feet. I need feet. I need feet. Stand back.
00:04:29.640 Or what? You're going to f***ing threaten me and f***ing abuse me?
00:04:33.300 Hey, guys. Do not do that.
00:04:35.680 Tell him not to touch me.
00:04:37.140 Six feet away for everybody. That's for everybody.
00:04:40.540 Well, now it's almost the end of 2022, and yet Arthur Pawlowski is not yet done with the law,
00:04:48.400 although he has won every single case he has had, thanks to the donations to the Democracy Fund
00:04:54.920 and the outstanding legal team led by Sarah Miller in Calgary.
00:04:58.380 Well, he is not done yet.
00:04:59.640 In fact, in February, Pastor Arthur faces charges being the first person prosecuted
00:05:05.920 under the Critical Infrastructure Defense Act,
00:05:09.020 a law designed to stop eco-terrorism against pipelines.
00:05:13.720 They're using it against him for peaceful commentary.
00:05:17.540 But the reason we're having today's special show with Pastor Arthur Pawlowski
00:05:22.740 is because on Friday, Pastor Arthur had a tremendous victory
00:05:27.480 that sort of slipped under the radar, obviously, of the mainstream media.
00:05:31.340 They don't care.
00:05:32.160 But it was incredibly interesting and important.
00:05:35.780 I'll tell you about it from what I heard from the lawyer,
00:05:38.460 but let's bring in the man himself, Pastor Arthur Pawlowski.
00:05:42.520 Great to see you again.
00:05:43.840 I'm delighted that you're at home.
00:05:46.040 You spent almost 50 days in prison in the past year or two
00:05:50.460 because of police bullying.
00:05:52.480 But you had a day in court on Friday.
00:05:55.580 It was supposed to be one of several days of trial in a row.
00:06:00.240 But in the very first moments of the court, something unusual happened.
00:06:05.520 What was it like?
00:06:06.160 Were you there in the courtroom itself, Pastor Arthur?
00:06:09.240 Yes, I was.
00:06:10.320 This was our sixth day, believe it or not.
00:06:13.760 And by the way, I spent 50 days the last time in jail
00:06:17.860 before they kept us, me and my brother David, for a few days at a time.
00:06:22.900 So I have been privileged, put it this way, to see a number of jails
00:06:28.760 and, of course, the Riemann Center as well, solitary confinement, metal cages.
00:06:35.040 I remember when they kidnapped me from Calgary,
00:06:37.780 took me hundreds of miles away to Edmonton,
00:06:40.640 placed me in max pot for the most dangerous offenders.
00:06:45.480 And, of course, after in a psych ward
00:06:48.320 without the evaluation of the doctor's knowledge, even, of the AHS.
00:06:53.300 So, yeah, the ordeal was crazy.
00:06:55.280 But let's talk about what happened this Friday.
00:06:58.480 And here is the frustration that I have
00:07:01.020 because today's politicians are talking about the courts,
00:07:04.940 that the Crown prosecutors are overwhelmed
00:07:07.220 and there's not enough of them
00:07:09.040 and the criminals are going out free.
00:07:12.160 They're getting away with the murder, literally.
00:07:15.140 And why?
00:07:16.360 Because, of course, there is not enough Crown prosecutors.
00:07:20.620 Because they are not interested, really, in fighting the real criminals.
00:07:26.160 They're after pastors.
00:07:28.060 They're after people that actually save lives.
00:07:31.640 They're after people that dare to oppose today's tyranny.
00:07:35.700 And that's exactly what happened to me.
00:07:39.000 And we spent two days.
00:07:40.380 Actually, Sarah spent two days in February
00:07:43.040 when I was still in solitary confinement.
00:07:45.720 Then three days we had the trial.
00:07:48.560 The moment we stepped in,
00:07:50.480 Sarah agreed on the statements of facts.
00:07:53.000 We agreed.
00:07:53.900 Yes, in fact, Your Honor, I did feed those people.
00:07:57.500 The videos presented are from my own live feed,
00:08:01.660 from Facebook, from YouTube.
00:08:03.000 There's no dispute that I was there.
00:08:05.300 I fed those people.
00:08:06.340 Now let's move and look into the merits of the case.
00:08:09.240 But, of course, the...
00:08:09.940 Okay, let me just pause for a second, Arthur.
00:08:10.880 I just want to make sure this is easy for our viewers to follow.
00:08:13.780 And you've been referring to a bunch of different interactions with the law,
00:08:17.300 and all of them are heartbreaking and infuriating.
00:08:20.240 And we can touch on a number of them,
00:08:22.600 but I just want to let people know sort of the breaking news.
00:08:26.660 So I just want to pull it back to Friday.
00:08:29.320 So on Friday, it was going to be one day of several days of a trial
00:08:33.900 under a public health order issued by the province of Alberta
00:08:38.380 claiming that you had a private gathering
00:08:41.980 when clearly it was not a private gathering.
00:08:43.920 It was in public.
00:08:44.640 You cannot criminalize a public gathering in Canada,
00:08:48.900 even though politicians might try to.
00:08:50.960 They were prosecuting you,
00:08:52.420 and I understand that they were seeking up to $100,000 in fines.
00:08:57.500 So I just want to set the table.
00:08:59.240 So the prosecutor's coming to get you.
00:09:02.040 You've got Sarah Miller of the Democracy Fund.
00:09:05.080 This is, you know, what, your 16th hearing since the pandemic.
00:09:09.120 They're clearly targeting you.
00:09:11.300 The prosecutor sends over a massive briefing to your lawyer,
00:09:15.440 Sarah Miller, the night before.
00:09:17.120 You walk into court.
00:09:18.220 You're ready for a battle.
00:09:19.520 Sarah Miller, our hero, our champion,
00:09:22.000 who's done such a great job fighting for you,
00:09:24.060 is ready to fight.
00:09:25.880 And then there was a surprise.
00:09:27.380 Tell us about the surprise,
00:09:28.680 because that's the breaking news
00:09:29.840 that I think our viewers will scratch their head about.
00:09:32.220 You were ready for a trial.
00:09:33.900 What happened?
00:09:35.400 Yes, the crime prosecutor walked in,
00:09:37.840 would not even bow before the courts,
00:09:39.820 would not even acknowledge us,
00:09:41.380 not even say good morning, nothing.
00:09:43.400 And when the judge showed up,
00:09:45.380 she said, we are staying the charges.
00:09:48.060 We're not going to proceed.
00:09:49.560 I mean, wow.
00:09:51.700 After all those months,
00:09:53.620 after two years of this craziness
00:09:57.600 hanging over my head,
00:09:59.380 as you remember,
00:10:00.340 the crime prosecutor, Johnston,
00:10:02.320 used that ticket,
00:10:03.720 that trial against me
00:10:05.900 to keep me in prison,
00:10:07.980 he says to another judge
00:10:09.700 during the bail hearing,
00:10:10.960 Your Honor,
00:10:11.520 this guy has multiple charges.
00:10:13.220 He is not going to obey your orders.
00:10:14.960 He is a lawbreaker.
00:10:16.340 He is a troublemaker.
00:10:17.700 He is a danger to society.
00:10:19.440 He cost the Canadian economy
00:10:20.920 over $400 million worth of damages.
00:10:23.960 And he is inciting people
00:10:25.700 to commit acts of violence and so on.
00:10:27.780 And yet this crown prosecutor
00:10:30.180 during this proceeding just last Friday
00:10:32.260 walks in and, okay, whatever.
00:10:34.740 We're not proceeding.
00:10:35.880 We're staying the charges.
00:10:37.500 The frustration.
00:10:38.720 Yeah.
00:10:39.200 Now, what was the explanation?
00:10:41.220 Because I spoke to your lawyer, Sarah Miller,
00:10:43.600 and she told me that literally
00:10:45.440 on the eve of trial,
00:10:47.680 that this same prosecutor
00:10:49.100 was sending over pages and pages and pages
00:10:51.840 of new filings and new documents.
00:10:54.420 So obviously this crown prosecutor,
00:10:56.520 it seems to me,
00:10:58.080 I mean, why would you do all that hard work
00:11:00.120 if the next morning, literally,
00:11:03.520 you were going to walk into court
00:11:04.620 and abandon the case?
00:11:06.260 To stay a prosecution,
00:11:07.900 that's the technical term
00:11:09.440 for saying to the judge,
00:11:12.180 Your Honor,
00:11:13.560 the crown prosecutors will not proceed.
00:11:16.580 Now, theoretically,
00:11:17.540 they could open it up again in the future.
00:11:19.260 But what I'm trying to understand,
00:11:21.380 Pastor Arthur,
00:11:21.920 is how the night before
00:11:24.360 the crown prosecutor can be out for blood,
00:11:27.520 filing new documents,
00:11:28.680 serving new documents,
00:11:29.780 threatening all sorts of things,
00:11:31.220 and then hours later,
00:11:32.920 walk into court and say,
00:11:33.960 Oh, no,
00:11:34.920 we're not going to proceed.
00:11:36.240 What on earth was her explanation?
00:11:38.020 That was really not a valid explanation.
00:11:43.400 This was just to frustrate us.
00:11:45.480 This was just to waste our resources.
00:11:47.500 As you know,
00:11:48.400 Sarah spent half a night
00:11:50.400 going through the documents.
00:11:52.160 I was told there was 46 pages,
00:11:54.620 a number of binders,
00:11:55.800 so she had to go through it,
00:11:56.960 prepare.
00:11:57.760 The crown suggested before
00:11:59.680 maybe we should postpone the trial.
00:12:02.040 Sarah talked to me.
00:12:02.860 I said,
00:12:03.120 Absolutely not.
00:12:03.980 I want to deal.
00:12:04.860 Let's face the music,
00:12:06.240 head-on collision,
00:12:07.140 whatever happens.
00:12:07.940 I need to deal
00:12:09.180 with all of this craziness.
00:12:11.000 This is two years already.
00:12:13.160 Her official explanation
00:12:14.540 to the judge was that
00:12:15.940 her key witness,
00:12:17.800 and what a joke, Ezra,
00:12:20.000 her key witness
00:12:20.960 that just appeared
00:12:22.380 out of nowhere,
00:12:24.460 while he is on a sick leave,
00:12:27.520 we don't know
00:12:28.200 when he's going to come back.
00:12:29.900 Another interesting fact
00:12:31.280 is that his evidence,
00:12:33.400 which we, of course,
00:12:34.220 provided to them,
00:12:35.740 we're not hiding.
00:12:37.000 It was a public event.
00:12:38.300 There was hundreds
00:12:39.200 of cameras rolling.
00:12:41.080 They used my own feed
00:12:42.740 from my Facebook and YouTube,
00:12:44.540 but miraculously,
00:12:46.940 his body camera
00:12:48.820 and the footage of his,
00:12:50.900 this key, mysterious key witness
00:12:53.160 of the crown prosecutor's case,
00:12:56.680 while his body camera
00:12:57.700 and the footage disappeared,
00:12:59.540 they didn't know
00:12:59.940 how that was possible.
00:13:01.560 They didn't know
00:13:01.960 what happened.
00:13:02.940 It's gone.
00:13:03.900 And now this key witness
00:13:05.540 that the whole thing
00:13:06.980 was built upon,
00:13:08.120 in quote, of course,
00:13:09.220 it's a joke.
00:13:10.520 Well, he is very sick
00:13:11.940 and he is not coming back to work
00:13:14.200 and we do not know
00:13:15.140 if he will ever come back
00:13:17.060 to work as a police officer.
00:13:19.000 Therefore, the crown said
00:13:21.520 we are staying the charges.
00:13:22.960 Yeah, it's obviously a ruse
00:13:24.480 that's simply not credible.
00:13:25.800 As you pointed out,
00:13:27.400 there is an enormous amount
00:13:28.840 of, quote, evidence,
00:13:30.040 evidence, I think,
00:13:31.020 of your lawful conduct.
00:13:33.560 But what, you know,
00:13:34.640 if the crown thinks
00:13:35.420 your conduct was unlawful,
00:13:37.340 there's countless hours
00:13:39.140 of video footage.
00:13:40.120 Like you say,
00:13:40.680 most of it taken by you.
00:13:42.060 If this so-called
00:13:43.340 critical prosecution witness
00:13:45.380 didn't have any video footage
00:13:47.760 of his own,
00:13:48.780 the crown had previously certified
00:13:51.700 that they were ready
00:13:52.560 for trial on this.
00:13:53.660 It's so, you know,
00:13:55.500 this is not a key witness.
00:13:56.880 The key evidence
00:13:57.900 is your own footage.
00:13:59.220 This is the crown prosecutor
00:14:02.680 bullying you,
00:14:04.980 putting you through the stress
00:14:06.380 and expense of a lawyer,
00:14:08.480 of a preparation,
00:14:09.680 thank God,
00:14:10.060 the Democracy Fund
00:14:10.640 is carrying Sarah Miller's cost,
00:14:12.480 but still the stress on you,
00:14:14.180 the time wasting on you,
00:14:15.820 the stigma of this
00:14:17.040 hanging over you,
00:14:18.220 the risk, however remote,
00:14:19.660 of a $100,000 fine,
00:14:21.300 and the fact that this
00:14:22.420 has been going on
00:14:23.120 for such a long time,
00:14:24.640 this is abusive.
00:14:25.680 I don't know if you know this,
00:14:26.520 Arthur,
00:14:26.720 but I used to practice law
00:14:27.720 way back in the day.
00:14:29.460 And there's two tests
00:14:30.820 for whether or not
00:14:31.780 the crown prosecutor
00:14:32.760 should proceed against someone.
00:14:34.360 And they're very common sense.
00:14:36.200 The first is,
00:14:37.740 is it in the public interest?
00:14:39.720 Is this really important
00:14:40.960 for the good of the province
00:14:42.200 that this happened?
00:14:43.360 Of course it fails
00:14:44.860 that first test.
00:14:46.060 You know,
00:14:46.260 what you do on the street
00:14:47.500 is peaceful.
00:14:48.280 In many cases,
00:14:49.380 it's charitable.
00:14:50.500 There's no public interest
00:14:51.620 in prosecuting you.
00:14:52.700 And like you say,
00:14:53.540 when there's such a shortage
00:14:54.300 of prosecutors
00:14:55.020 to go after real criminals.
00:14:56.740 And the second,
00:14:58.360 is there a reasonable
00:14:59.840 likelihood of conviction?
00:15:02.300 And there simply wasn't.
00:15:03.920 It's so bizarre
00:15:05.260 that they literally settled
00:15:07.100 the morning of the trial.
00:15:09.560 And I have to think,
00:15:11.360 why did they put you
00:15:12.180 through this whole thing
00:15:13.020 if they had such a weak case?
00:15:14.380 It's clearly that there's
00:15:15.620 political machinations
00:15:16.640 in the background.
00:15:17.400 The prosecution of you
00:15:19.060 was political to begin with.
00:15:20.760 And maybe there's other politics
00:15:22.220 coming into play now.
00:15:23.140 What do you think?
00:15:24.000 Do you think someone
00:15:24.600 called her off?
00:15:25.560 Do you think some big boss
00:15:26.820 phoned her up that morning
00:15:28.260 and said,
00:15:28.740 hey, prosecutor,
00:15:29.680 you're throwing in the towel?
00:15:31.140 Because it's just weird to me
00:15:32.240 that she was filing
00:15:33.080 all these documents
00:15:33.940 the night before,
00:15:35.080 which must have been
00:15:35.600 a lot of work.
00:15:36.320 Like your lawyer,
00:15:37.420 Sarah Miller,
00:15:37.820 had a lot of work
00:15:38.560 to get ready for it.
00:15:39.980 But it was surely more work
00:15:41.680 for the prosecutor
00:15:42.420 to put together
00:15:43.220 this 46-page brief
00:15:44.780 and all the binders.
00:15:45.620 Like to do that
00:15:46.740 and then the next morning,
00:15:47.600 and you say if she was sulking
00:15:48.940 and she wouldn't even
00:15:50.120 make eye contact
00:15:51.020 or say hello,
00:15:52.220 maybe some boss
00:15:54.580 called her up in the morning
00:15:56.380 and said,
00:15:56.920 call it off.
00:15:58.780 That's a possible explanation
00:16:00.340 that she wanted to go at you,
00:16:02.420 but some bigger boss
00:16:03.360 called her off.
00:16:03.960 What do you think?
00:16:05.320 It could be.
00:16:06.040 It's possible.
00:16:07.120 I mean,
00:16:07.360 we have been working
00:16:08.200 in a background
00:16:08.920 from the political,
00:16:10.280 you know,
00:16:10.860 on the political level,
00:16:12.160 trying to talk
00:16:13.500 to the UCP government
00:16:14.620 to, you know,
00:16:15.920 to take their dogs,
00:16:17.400 to call their dogs off
00:16:19.080 because this is pure vendetta.
00:16:21.400 Tyler Chandra,
00:16:22.140 as you know,
00:16:22.960 has been embarrassed
00:16:24.080 for the past few years
00:16:26.540 as the Minister of Health
00:16:27.840 and now he is the Minister
00:16:29.860 of Justice
00:16:30.600 and Solicitor General.
00:16:31.980 So purely for those people,
00:16:33.760 it's personal.
00:16:35.280 It is vendetta.
00:16:36.540 They were caught
00:16:37.400 in a Sky Palace hypocrisy.
00:16:39.120 When I was rotting in prison,
00:16:41.700 they were partying
00:16:42.580 left and right,
00:16:43.920 caught red-handed.
00:16:45.640 And one law for me,
00:16:46.780 totally different
00:16:47.560 for the rest of us slaves,
00:16:49.340 I guess,
00:16:49.800 according to them.
00:16:50.720 So I don't know.
00:16:51.500 I don't really know
00:16:52.180 what happened.
00:16:52.900 I am pushing hard.
00:16:54.620 I am trying to tell Albertans
00:16:57.020 what's really going on.
00:16:58.260 Maybe someone smarter
00:16:59.760 than the Minister Chandra
00:17:01.820 said,
00:17:02.560 hey,
00:17:02.820 this is not in our interest
00:17:04.480 to wage the war
00:17:05.980 against the ministers
00:17:07.100 and pastors
00:17:07.820 for doing what?
00:17:08.700 Like,
00:17:09.140 Ezra,
00:17:09.400 what did I do?
00:17:10.300 I saved lives.
00:17:12.080 I saved Albertans
00:17:13.620 on a weekly basis
00:17:14.760 for the past 23 years.
00:17:16.960 Instead of receiving support
00:17:19.020 from the Alberta government,
00:17:20.540 I constantly receive
00:17:22.060 police presence,
00:17:23.460 bylaws,
00:17:24.020 health inspectors,
00:17:25.020 tickets,
00:17:25.620 trials,
00:17:26.480 arrests.
00:17:26.980 I mean,
00:17:27.260 this must stop.
00:17:28.980 So I'm very grateful.
00:17:30.880 I'm very grateful
00:17:32.060 to God
00:17:32.840 and to you
00:17:33.500 and to Sarah
00:17:34.240 that she was willing
00:17:35.340 to proceed,
00:17:36.520 that she spent that night
00:17:37.820 looking through the documents,
00:17:39.840 wasting,
00:17:40.380 obviously wasting the money
00:17:42.000 that were donated
00:17:43.020 for our defense
00:17:44.660 because I think
00:17:45.980 they have an agenda.
00:17:47.060 I think it's personal.
00:17:48.420 It is a vendetta.
00:17:49.480 They wanted to hurt us.
00:17:50.660 They wanted to keep me
00:17:52.260 subdued,
00:17:53.280 if you will.
00:17:53.880 As you know,
00:17:54.380 I am still
00:17:55.140 on house arrest
00:17:56.480 from 7 to 7.
00:17:58.160 I'm waiting my trial
00:17:59.420 at the beginning of February
00:18:01.440 and they used
00:18:02.920 this trial,
00:18:03.860 this particular ticket
00:18:05.420 during the bail hearing
00:18:07.060 against me.
00:18:08.260 So now,
00:18:09.660 when I'm out
00:18:10.960 and I'm winning,
00:18:12.720 we are winning
00:18:13.420 every single trial
00:18:14.700 right now,
00:18:15.220 every fight
00:18:15.800 with those people,
00:18:16.820 maybe they realize,
00:18:17.680 hey,
00:18:18.280 this is not looking good.
00:18:20.220 I mean,
00:18:20.420 no one is buying
00:18:21.340 this agenda anymore.
00:18:22.680 No one is believing us
00:18:23.820 that this is in a public interest.
00:18:25.780 So hopefully,
00:18:26.600 I pray
00:18:27.020 that those people
00:18:28.020 will just let me
00:18:28.820 live my life
00:18:29.740 in peace.
00:18:30.780 That's what I want.
00:18:31.580 That's what I always wanted.
00:18:33.120 As you remember,
00:18:33.760 I've told them
00:18:34.420 thousands of times,
00:18:36.000 leave me alone, people.
00:18:37.500 Let me do
00:18:38.180 what I'm good at.
00:18:38.960 I'm good at saving lives.
00:18:40.500 I'm good at giving people hope.
00:18:42.600 I'm not asking
00:18:43.640 anything from you.
00:18:44.680 I don't want
00:18:45.180 anything from you.
00:18:46.340 Just let me be.
00:18:47.640 Yeah.
00:18:47.940 You know what?
00:18:48.680 We just heard
00:18:49.420 that another
00:18:50.180 Calgary pastor
00:18:51.600 has been charged
00:18:52.580 with giving out food
00:18:54.020 without a license
00:18:55.120 to the hungry.
00:18:56.120 I mean,
00:18:56.260 only in Calgary
00:18:57.320 would they put
00:18:58.260 red tape
00:18:58.860 in bureaucracy?
00:19:00.220 There's a real problem
00:19:02.800 in Alberta.
00:19:04.260 You wouldn't think it.
00:19:05.020 It's the province
00:19:05.620 whose motto
00:19:06.220 is strong and free.
00:19:08.160 And Calgary,
00:19:08.880 it likes to think
00:19:09.740 of itself
00:19:10.100 as the freest city
00:19:11.100 in the country.
00:19:12.040 They have a strange,
00:19:13.600 crazy blind spot.
00:19:15.540 It's you mainly.
00:19:17.460 I know they've given you
00:19:18.760 more than 100 fines,
00:19:20.760 charges,
00:19:21.240 tickets,
00:19:21.660 court dates,
00:19:22.120 more than 100.
00:19:23.200 But it's others too.
00:19:25.120 And we know that.
00:19:25.680 They of course seized
00:19:26.920 the Grace Life Church
00:19:28.720 up in Edmonton,
00:19:29.900 just south of Edmonton
00:19:30.960 and other churches too.
00:19:32.580 You know what it makes
00:19:33.200 me think of?
00:19:34.240 I don't know if you know
00:19:35.300 this, Pastor Arthur,
00:19:36.080 but after the Second World War
00:19:37.760 was over,
00:19:39.300 for years,
00:19:40.880 like literally years,
00:19:42.180 I think it went all the way
00:19:43.020 into the 1950s,
00:19:44.380 they discovered
00:19:45.280 little clumps
00:19:46.960 of Japanese soldiers
00:19:48.580 who were on
00:19:49.640 some remote island
00:19:50.840 who didn't know
00:19:52.200 the war was over.
00:19:53.160 So it was the late 1940s,
00:19:55.440 early 1950s,
00:19:56.320 and they discovered
00:19:56.960 these soldiers
00:19:58.360 who had just been cut off
00:19:59.680 from the main Japanese army
00:20:00.960 and thought that
00:20:02.500 they were still
00:20:03.080 fighting America
00:20:03.920 and when they were
00:20:04.920 discovered,
00:20:05.700 they had to be told,
00:20:06.960 no, the war is over
00:20:07.980 and Japan surrendered
00:20:08.960 and you can go home now.
00:20:10.500 Like they were still,
00:20:11.380 were living
00:20:12.180 in the 40s
00:20:13.960 in the war
00:20:14.480 and I think
00:20:15.760 that some parts
00:20:17.720 of the Justice Department
00:20:19.060 in Alberta
00:20:19.600 and a lot of parts
00:20:20.920 of Alberta Health Services
00:20:22.140 are still living
00:20:23.600 like those Japanese soldiers.
00:20:25.200 They're still fighting
00:20:26.040 the war of the 1940s.
00:20:27.380 They don't realize
00:20:27.980 that the war is over.
00:20:29.160 They lost
00:20:29.740 and now they're on
00:20:30.720 some crazy vendetta
00:20:32.020 and they need to be
00:20:33.160 deprogrammed
00:20:34.200 and brought back
00:20:34.980 to normal life
00:20:35.760 and if they're
00:20:36.640 on the Justice side,
00:20:37.640 how about go after
00:20:38.280 real criminals now
00:20:39.260 and if they're on
00:20:40.180 the healthcare side,
00:20:41.360 how about, you know,
00:20:42.340 do some real healthcare
00:20:43.440 instead of following
00:20:44.680 your crazy vendetta.
00:20:46.300 I think there's something,
00:20:47.340 there's a psychological,
00:20:48.340 these guys are in a rut
00:20:49.440 that it really feels
00:20:51.360 like revenge,
00:20:52.400 it really feels personal
00:20:54.160 and I wonder
00:20:55.100 how many times
00:20:56.000 they have to lose
00:20:56.900 before, you know,
00:20:58.540 they just don't go
00:21:00.100 after you anymore.
00:21:00.740 You're not exaggerating
00:21:01.600 when you say
00:21:02.060 you've won
00:21:02.380 every single time.
00:21:03.580 Now, in one case
00:21:04.580 you had to go up
00:21:05.200 to the Court of Appeal
00:21:06.180 where you got
00:21:07.120 a unanimous ruling
00:21:08.640 three to zero
00:21:09.440 to overturn
00:21:10.700 a lower court
00:21:11.360 but if I'm not mistaken
00:21:12.380 you have actually won
00:21:14.800 every single matter
00:21:17.380 that has gone to court.
00:21:18.680 So, I come back
00:21:20.420 to those tests
00:21:21.200 for a prosecution.
00:21:22.460 Is it in the public interest?
00:21:23.860 Obviously not.
00:21:24.960 Do they have a reasonable
00:21:26.080 likelihood of conviction?
00:21:27.720 Obviously not
00:21:28.600 and yet they're coming
00:21:29.540 for you again
00:21:30.280 in February.
00:21:31.860 Something is rotten
00:21:33.460 in the state of Alberta.
00:21:35.020 It is, 100%.
00:21:36.140 It's personal.
00:21:37.420 It is a vendetta.
00:21:38.580 Of course, as you know,
00:21:39.420 I'm very vocal.
00:21:40.840 I'm doing my best
00:21:41.840 to warn people
00:21:42.680 about what I think
00:21:44.020 is happening
00:21:45.160 and coming
00:21:45.900 to my beloved Canada.
00:21:47.700 as you know
00:21:48.720 and you can tell
00:21:49.460 of course
00:21:50.240 very quickly
00:21:51.180 I grew up
00:21:51.920 behind the Iron Curtain
00:21:53.120 under the boots
00:21:53.820 of the Soviets.
00:21:54.880 I've seen this movie
00:21:55.860 before
00:21:56.360 and we must
00:21:57.580 change the script.
00:21:58.780 We have to
00:21:59.460 push this evil
00:22:00.880 away.
00:22:01.800 Do you know, Ezra,
00:22:03.160 and I'm sure
00:22:03.920 you remember
00:22:04.560 because you covered
00:22:05.420 my cases before
00:22:07.120 even before the rebel
00:22:08.560 that there are laws
00:22:10.080 in the province
00:22:10.740 of Alberta
00:22:11.260 that states
00:22:12.220 that giving free goods
00:22:13.380 and services
00:22:14.180 are prohibited
00:22:15.640 by law,
00:22:16.520 distribution of
00:22:17.360 printed material.
00:22:18.400 So if I give you
00:22:19.380 a Bible
00:22:19.960 or a gospel track
00:22:21.300 on the streets
00:22:21.900 of Calgary
00:22:22.880 or Edmonton
00:22:23.680 or anywhere
00:22:24.260 within the province
00:22:25.160 of Alberta
00:22:25.640 I'm actually committing
00:22:26.540 a crime.
00:22:26.980 If I give
00:22:27.980 a sandwich
00:22:28.840 to a dying child
00:22:30.420 on the street
00:22:31.200 of Calgary
00:22:32.060 I am committing
00:22:33.180 a crime.
00:22:33.880 Those are laws
00:22:34.740 in the books.
00:22:36.660 It's shocking
00:22:37.560 when I share that
00:22:38.440 to the normal people
00:22:40.180 to the public
00:22:40.760 they don't want
00:22:41.180 to believe me
00:22:41.900 that they don't
00:22:42.960 want to believe
00:22:43.500 that the government
00:22:44.360 can become so evil
00:22:46.140 that would criminalize
00:22:48.040 someone that actually
00:22:49.420 feeds the poor
00:22:50.420 and saves lives.
00:22:51.980 Derek Reimer
00:22:52.640 is facing $10,000
00:22:54.500 as we speak right now.
00:22:56.720 $10,000 ticket
00:22:57.920 he has a salmon
00:22:58.940 so he doesn't even
00:23:00.040 have an option
00:23:00.800 to just pay it.
00:23:02.220 He has to go to court.
00:23:03.720 He has to be subjected
00:23:05.160 to this punishment
00:23:06.740 because that's what
00:23:07.360 it is, Ezra.
00:23:08.000 The whole process
00:23:09.300 becomes a punishment.
00:23:10.760 Me, being in metal cages
00:23:12.660 in solitary confinement
00:23:13.780 they already punished me.
00:23:15.880 Sarah told me
00:23:16.680 that of course
00:23:18.440 I'm facing up to
00:23:19.620 10 and a half years
00:23:21.120 combined
00:23:21.900 if they wanted
00:23:22.640 to throw a book at me
00:23:23.680 but she could not find
00:23:25.400 she could not find
00:23:26.820 any other precedent
00:23:28.500 or case
00:23:29.840 ever
00:23:30.820 that a person
00:23:32.360 charged with those offenses
00:23:33.980 would spend more than
00:23:35.000 seven days
00:23:35.960 in prison.
00:23:36.900 So I spent 50 days
00:23:38.340 on the 51st
00:23:39.320 I was released
00:23:40.260 which is Riemann Center
00:23:41.640 that's almost 80 days
00:23:43.160 in prison
00:23:44.280 for what?
00:23:45.780 What have I done?
00:23:46.680 I just said to the people
00:23:48.200 stand up for your rights
00:23:49.400 but do it peacefully
00:23:50.860 no guns
00:23:52.040 no swords
00:23:52.840 peacefully
00:23:53.320 yeah
00:23:53.900 my speech is fiery
00:23:55.400 take it or leave it
00:23:56.880 love it or hate it
00:23:58.100 I don't care
00:23:59.040 but it's lawful
00:24:00.480 you mentioned Derek Reimer
00:24:02.560 that is the name
00:24:03.420 of the other pastor
00:24:04.360 and I'm pleased
00:24:05.240 to tell our viewers
00:24:06.180 that the Democracy Fund
00:24:07.980 has come to terms
00:24:09.320 with Sarah Miller
00:24:10.800 because I think
00:24:12.220 who best
00:24:13.320 to defend
00:24:14.000 a pastor
00:24:15.020 in Calgary
00:24:15.920 who is being bullied
00:24:16.780 by the authorities
00:24:17.540 than your lawyer
00:24:19.000 Sarah
00:24:19.520 who unfortunately
00:24:21.000 has now had
00:24:21.860 a lot of training
00:24:22.580 and experience
00:24:23.740 in these matters
00:24:25.020 so I think
00:24:26.060 that
00:24:26.400 like
00:24:27.200 I mean
00:24:27.940 I know
00:24:28.820 you've spent
00:24:29.220 a lot of time
00:24:29.720 working with Sarah
00:24:30.520 so you've been
00:24:31.680 in court with her
00:24:32.280 and you've seen
00:24:32.700 her in action
00:24:33.240 I think you'll agree
00:24:34.500 that the government
00:24:35.740 has made a mistake
00:24:36.780 going after Derek Reimer
00:24:38.140 with Sarah
00:24:38.880 on the case
00:24:39.640 I am quite certain
00:24:40.940 that he'll get
00:24:41.420 the best representation
00:24:42.300 possible
00:24:43.320 and again
00:24:43.700 that's courtesy
00:24:44.280 of crowdfunding
00:24:45.040 through the Democracy Fund
00:24:45.960 well this is incredible
00:24:47.520 I want to ask you
00:24:48.420 I mean let's put aside
00:24:49.380 the upcoming prosecution
00:24:51.820 of you
00:24:52.360 in early February
00:24:53.500 which I think
00:24:54.040 is a disgrace
00:24:54.720 and I think
00:24:55.700 the province will lose
00:24:56.900 and I think frankly
00:24:58.020 the law
00:24:58.600 may well be struck down
00:24:59.980 as unconstitutional
00:25:00.920 if they're going to use
00:25:02.620 an eco-terrorism law
00:25:04.060 against you
00:25:04.800 well then it deserves
00:25:06.180 to be struck down
00:25:07.020 as unconstitutional
00:25:07.800 but let me ask you
00:25:08.940 bigger picture
00:25:09.620 put aside that
00:25:10.500 upcoming eco-terrorism
00:25:12.600 like seriously
00:25:13.120 like it's just so absurd
00:25:14.920 they're just throwing
00:25:15.500 everything at you
00:25:16.060 but the kitchen sink
00:25:16.880 let me ask you
00:25:19.100 a political question
00:25:20.000 instead of a legal question
00:25:21.180 do you think
00:25:22.740 the province of Alberta
00:25:24.100 and do you think
00:25:24.580 the country of Canada
00:25:25.620 cares more about
00:25:27.860 civil liberties now
00:25:28.940 or less
00:25:29.760 on the one hand
00:25:30.920 we've allowed ourselves
00:25:31.840 to be abused
00:25:32.680 for years
00:25:33.360 including by the
00:25:34.540 Emergencies Act
00:25:35.340 martial law
00:25:36.020 so on the one hand
00:25:36.740 we let
00:25:37.360 terrible things happen
00:25:39.200 on the other hand
00:25:40.820 I think a lot of people
00:25:41.840 did wake up
00:25:43.660 people who
00:25:45.600 in the past
00:25:46.540 might have called
00:25:46.980 themselves liberal
00:25:47.780 might have called
00:25:48.360 themselves green
00:25:49.440 or socialist
00:25:51.900 or whatever
00:25:52.480 if they had any
00:25:53.820 libertarianism
00:25:55.540 in their blood
00:25:56.140 I think they woke up
00:25:57.240 people who used to say
00:25:58.080 my body
00:25:58.700 my choice
00:25:59.360 have woken up
00:26:00.440 do you think
00:26:01.620 the state of civil liberties
00:26:03.240 in Canada
00:26:03.920 in the hearts of people
00:26:05.100 do you think it's stronger
00:26:06.200 or weaker now
00:26:07.300 than it was
00:26:08.380 three years ago
00:26:09.160 100%
00:26:10.840 if we had this
00:26:12.420 conversation
00:26:13.300 a few years ago
00:26:14.140 I think majority
00:26:14.920 of people
00:26:15.380 would not even care
00:26:16.680 if I live or die
00:26:18.180 but right now
00:26:19.280 wherever I travel
00:26:20.160 I travel all over
00:26:21.300 and again
00:26:21.980 I have to receive
00:26:23.220 permission
00:26:23.780 from my probation officer
00:26:25.060 to even meet
00:26:25.920 with my constituents
00:26:27.020 and the people
00:26:29.080 that potentially
00:26:30.040 are going to vote
00:26:30.700 for us
00:26:31.080 so I travel
00:26:32.600 around Alberta
00:26:33.340 and there's always
00:26:34.020 hundreds of people
00:26:34.960 showing up
00:26:35.700 and everyone
00:26:36.360 that comes to me
00:26:37.300 says thank you
00:26:38.220 for standing up
00:26:39.040 we didn't know
00:26:39.920 how bad it is
00:26:40.740 so what I would say
00:26:42.180 is that millions
00:26:43.520 of Canadians
00:26:44.920 have been awakened
00:26:46.440 and if it comes
00:26:47.800 to the government
00:26:48.540 the government
00:26:49.160 is pushing hard
00:26:50.280 the government
00:26:51.000 is trying to destroy
00:26:52.140 our liberties
00:26:52.900 but the people
00:26:53.900 I believe
00:26:54.620 are pushing back
00:26:55.920 as well
00:26:56.580 and they say
00:26:57.340 hey wait a second
00:26:58.220 you're supposed
00:26:58.800 to protect our rights
00:27:00.300 not to take those rights
00:27:01.940 away from us
00:27:02.980 so I see
00:27:03.860 more and more people
00:27:05.300 aligning themselves
00:27:06.860 with what we were
00:27:08.320 warning them
00:27:09.900 about a few years ago
00:27:11.640 there is sympathy
00:27:12.540 but more than that
00:27:14.200 there is awareness
00:27:15.280 that what we're
00:27:16.120 observing right now
00:27:17.140 is a simple
00:27:17.980 repetition of history
00:27:19.700 just like the saying
00:27:21.260 they came for
00:27:22.140 the Jews
00:27:23.020 but I didn't say
00:27:24.300 anything
00:27:24.760 because I was not
00:27:25.500 the Jew
00:27:25.820 you know how it goes
00:27:27.560 and when finally
00:27:28.780 they went
00:27:29.460 after all of the others
00:27:31.140 that were vocal
00:27:31.860 and they came for them
00:27:32.840 there was no one else
00:27:33.720 to stand up
00:27:35.040 to speak
00:27:35.620 so I think Canadians
00:27:36.660 are realizing
00:27:37.340 if they will not
00:27:38.380 join the fight
00:27:39.420 if you will
00:27:40.020 against this tyranny
00:27:41.420 now
00:27:41.900 they might face
00:27:44.080 what the Jewish people
00:27:45.380 did face
00:27:46.300 in 39, 40, 41
00:27:48.540 and of course
00:27:49.540 as a Polish emigrant
00:27:50.760 growing up
00:27:51.820 in a city
00:27:52.500 with a concentration camp
00:27:53.880 and having
00:27:55.060 my grandparents
00:27:55.960 telling me stories
00:27:57.180 about the Nazis
00:27:58.340 and the fascists
00:27:59.520 what they did
00:28:00.000 to my country
00:28:00.680 I am fully aware
00:28:02.440 that the tactics
00:28:04.320 that were used
00:28:05.220 by the Nazis
00:28:05.860 are identical
00:28:06.920 to the tactics
00:28:08.040 that are being used
00:28:08.880 right now
00:28:09.580 by this totalitarian regime
00:28:11.420 that is unchecked
00:28:12.600 there are no checks
00:28:13.520 and balances
00:28:14.060 anymore
00:28:14.560 there is no accountability
00:28:16.140 there is no
00:28:17.500 even a structure
00:28:18.460 of power
00:28:19.140 that would balance
00:28:20.220 some kind of
00:28:21.960 an individual
00:28:22.580 that wants to become
00:28:23.720 a tyrant
00:28:24.700 so we need to change
00:28:25.660 the system
00:28:26.280 and how are we going
00:28:27.040 to do it
00:28:27.500 when we come together
00:28:29.200 when good people
00:28:30.220 will join forces
00:28:31.560 and say
00:28:32.160 enough is enough
00:28:33.260 that's it
00:28:34.000 we have seen
00:28:34.620 the corruption
00:28:35.200 and we are not
00:28:36.200 agreeing with that corruption
00:28:37.640 so I think
00:28:38.920 there is
00:28:39.620 a big awakening
00:28:41.180 I've never seen
00:28:42.660 a bigger awakening
00:28:44.160 in this country
00:28:45.320 than right now
00:28:46.000 well it's incredible
00:28:48.200 I think
00:28:49.620 it has
00:28:50.800 awoken people
00:28:52.000 but it's also
00:28:52.640 shown us
00:28:53.400 how many Canadians
00:28:55.160 were happy
00:28:55.680 to be compliant
00:28:56.640 in the authoritarianism
00:28:58.860 and of course
00:28:59.240 you would have
00:28:59.720 seen that first hand
00:29:01.160 in Poland
00:29:02.440 under Soviet domination
00:29:03.960 that many people
00:29:05.540 were free
00:29:06.320 and the Polish people
00:29:07.140 are very freedom oriented
00:29:09.020 people going back
00:29:09.760 centuries by the way
00:29:10.760 but there were
00:29:12.140 surely those
00:29:13.360 amongst every population
00:29:14.660 who were happy
00:29:15.360 to be informants
00:29:16.460 happy to be enforcers
00:29:18.220 happy to be snitches
00:29:20.220 and we saw
00:29:21.640 those same
00:29:22.420 human characteristics
00:29:23.640 express themselves
00:29:25.020 in Canada
00:29:25.620 we all like to think
00:29:26.520 we would have done
00:29:27.000 the right thing
00:29:27.620 in Nazi Germany
00:29:28.840 80 years ago
00:29:29.860 but let's get real
00:29:31.860 a lot of people
00:29:32.460 would have loved
00:29:33.000 the power
00:29:33.520 they would have loved
00:29:34.180 being on the powerful side
00:29:35.380 they would have
00:29:35.820 given in to conformity
00:29:37.700 and peer pressure
00:29:38.440 and when you spoke out
00:29:40.860 it was very lonely
00:29:42.800 to do so
00:29:43.500 and now I think
00:29:44.120 a lot of people
00:29:44.620 have come around to it
00:29:45.580 but you paid the price
00:29:46.660 I'm just thrilled
00:29:48.080 that the case
00:29:50.040 against you
00:29:50.480 was abandoned
00:29:51.080 I'm disappointed
00:29:52.480 that they waited
00:29:53.100 until the morning
00:29:53.660 of the trial
00:29:54.200 it'll be interesting
00:29:55.400 to see what happens
00:29:56.200 in February
00:29:56.620 and I just want
00:29:57.120 to remind our viewers
00:29:57.980 that the Democracy Fund
00:30:00.500 has covered
00:30:01.260 Arthur Pavlovsky's
00:30:03.900 legal fees
00:30:04.400 those of his brother
00:30:05.280 David
00:30:05.780 those of other pastors
00:30:07.720 including Derek Reimer
00:30:08.780 who's going back
00:30:09.720 in front of a judge again
00:30:12.020 other Christian churches
00:30:14.120 Church in the Vine
00:30:15.100 in northern Alberta
00:30:16.000 churches in other provinces
00:30:17.640 even
00:30:18.020 so if this is something
00:30:19.240 that you care about
00:30:20.100 go to savearthur.com
00:30:23.160 saveartur.com
00:30:25.520 and that's a donation
00:30:26.720 to the Democracy Fund
00:30:27.820 you'll get a charitable
00:30:29.120 tax receipt for it
00:30:30.400 and it goes 100%
00:30:31.680 to the Democracy Fund
00:30:32.640 Rebel News
00:30:33.520 does not take any funds
00:30:34.800 from that
00:30:35.160 it's just kept
00:30:36.140 completely separate
00:30:37.060 in the Democracy Fund
00:30:38.640 charity
00:30:39.120 and that's
00:30:39.880 actually Arthur
00:30:41.380 is client number one
00:30:42.800 over the last year
00:30:44.480 and a half
00:30:44.860 the Democracy Fund
00:30:45.580 has taken more
00:30:46.220 than 2,000 cases
00:30:48.360 none of them
00:30:48.980 as spectacular
00:30:49.820 as Arthur's
00:30:51.440 none of them
00:30:51.820 as notorious
00:30:52.540 none of them
00:30:53.040 as abusive
00:30:53.560 but all of them
00:30:55.540 in some way
00:30:56.100 a tragedy
00:30:56.640 for the person
00:30:57.300 targeted
00:30:57.700 Pastor Arthur
00:30:58.440 congratulations
00:30:59.080 on your win
00:31:00.280 in court
00:31:00.860 on Friday
00:31:01.500 congratulations
00:31:02.420 on maintaining
00:31:03.460 your courage
00:31:04.260 and your inspiration
00:31:06.440 of others
00:31:07.160 and have a Merry Christmas
00:31:09.940 and Happy New Year
00:31:11.180 and we'll talk to you
00:31:12.200 in the New Year
00:31:12.920 and we will be there
00:31:15.020 at your next trial
00:31:16.880 in February
00:31:18.540 because that's going
00:31:19.720 to be an atrocious one
00:31:20.680 so keep fighting
00:31:21.400 thank you so much Ezra
00:31:23.320 Merry Christmas
00:31:24.040 to you too
00:31:24.720 to your listeners
00:31:25.420 to your viewers
00:31:26.560 I want to thank you
00:31:27.840 so much
00:31:28.660 for all your support
00:31:29.780 for every donation
00:31:31.380 I mean
00:31:32.120 without your support
00:31:33.420 I'll probably
00:31:34.220 still be in prison
00:31:35.780 so be blessed
00:31:36.860 Merry Christmas
00:31:37.880 Happy New Year
00:31:38.800 and stand strong
00:31:40.440 do not give up
00:31:41.420 do not be terrified
00:31:42.500 there is more of us
00:31:43.700 than of them
00:31:44.320 in the end
00:31:44.900 we know how the story ends
00:31:46.260 we win
00:31:46.780 the enemy just doesn't
00:31:48.000 know it yet
00:31:48.580 God bless you
00:31:49.400 right on
00:31:49.980 thanks for that
00:31:50.540 there you have it
00:31:51.320 Arthur Pawlowski
00:31:52.140 you can go to
00:31:53.200 savearthur.com
00:31:54.120 stay with it
00:31:54.880 your letters to me
00:31:56.460 in a moment
00:31:57.040 hey welcome back
00:32:09.740 Cake Rue
00:32:11.020 writes a letter
00:32:11.900 saying
00:32:12.280 you talk about
00:32:13.220 cancel culture
00:32:13.940 and attribute it
00:32:14.680 to the left
00:32:15.040 but in reality
00:32:15.680 your god goon
00:32:17.460 audience flags
00:32:18.500 people's comments
00:32:19.260 much more often
00:32:20.380 stop supporting
00:32:21.420 their anti-social
00:32:22.420 agenda
00:32:22.940 those you grift
00:32:24.200 are the actual
00:32:25.000 problem
00:32:25.540 you're not helping
00:32:26.440 anything by giving
00:32:27.380 them a platform
00:32:28.060 you also make it
00:32:29.080 very difficult
00:32:29.620 to see rebel media
00:32:30.560 as actual news
00:32:31.700 by doing so
00:32:32.460 do Canada a favor
00:32:33.600 and cut the trash
00:32:34.620 loose of your
00:32:35.140 programming
00:32:35.620 they'll drag you
00:32:36.520 down too
00:32:37.120 all right
00:32:38.960 but other than that
00:32:39.820 you love what
00:32:40.420 we're doing
00:32:40.800 right
00:32:41.120 listen I'm not
00:32:43.660 quite sure what
00:32:44.440 you mean
00:32:44.700 our comment section
00:32:45.540 on our website
00:32:46.120 frankly leaves a lot
00:32:47.000 to be desired
00:32:47.600 we sort of bolted
00:32:49.140 on a Facebook
00:32:49.820 comment app
00:32:51.160 and it's no good
00:32:51.960 it's full of spam
00:32:52.800 I blame Facebook
00:32:54.460 in part for that
00:32:55.240 but we will have
00:32:55.980 a new website
00:32:57.120 in the new year
00:32:57.940 and hopefully
00:32:58.640 deal with that
00:32:59.220 I certainly don't
00:33:01.220 engage in any
00:33:02.660 censorship of comments
00:33:03.540 I don't even
00:33:03.960 in the main
00:33:05.400 look at them
00:33:05.940 frankly it's just
00:33:06.580 too much to do
00:33:07.280 on YouTube
00:33:08.240 they have automatic
00:33:10.780 comment censorship
00:33:11.860 that YouTube
00:33:12.480 itself does
00:33:13.160 it's really
00:33:13.560 quite stunning
00:33:14.540 to see it
00:33:15.100 in real time
00:33:15.940 for example
00:33:16.820 on live streams
00:33:17.660 it's a robot
00:33:19.240 it's an algorithm
00:33:20.120 that really
00:33:20.880 censors people
00:33:21.680 and it is shocking
00:33:22.680 what we've learned
00:33:23.880 about Twitter
00:33:24.440 over the last few
00:33:25.280 weeks about how
00:33:25.840 the FBI and others
00:33:26.940 pressured Twitter
00:33:28.080 to censor people
00:33:28.920 I can assure you
00:33:30.020 it is far worse
00:33:31.000 at Facebook
00:33:32.040 Google and YouTube
00:33:33.100 I don't know
00:33:33.540 if we'll ever
00:33:33.900 have proof of it
00:33:34.520 like we have
00:33:35.040 with Twitter
00:33:35.880 Ralph Killoran
00:33:38.100 says
00:33:38.920 Canadians distrust
00:33:40.520 the media
00:33:41.020 apart from a
00:33:41.720 limited number
00:33:42.400 of community
00:33:42.900 broadcasters
00:33:43.620 media in Canada
00:33:44.840 are primarily
00:33:45.340 owned by a
00:33:45.840 small number
00:33:46.180 of companies
00:33:46.660 Bell, Corus,
00:33:47.620 Rogers, Quebecor
00:33:48.420 and the government
00:33:48.900 owned Canadian
00:33:49.500 Broadcasting Corporation
00:33:50.720 social media
00:33:51.680 is the main
00:33:52.100 source of news
00:33:52.720 for 19%
00:33:53.980 of all Canadian
00:33:54.580 adults
00:33:54.980 a share that
00:33:55.580 increases to 38%
00:33:56.900 among those under 35
00:33:58.000 49% among those
00:33:59.660 aged 18 to 24
00:34:01.580 right
00:34:02.920 well you've got
00:34:03.340 a lot of statistics
00:34:04.120 there
00:34:04.400 I think
00:34:05.540 that one of the
00:34:06.140 things you're
00:34:06.880 showing is that
00:34:08.000 people watch
00:34:09.720 the old school
00:34:10.360 media out of habit
00:34:11.340 and I get it
00:34:12.020 if you've watched
00:34:12.560 the same
00:34:13.100 newscaster
00:34:14.180 or subscribed
00:34:14.640 to the same
00:34:15.220 newspaper
00:34:15.720 for 30
00:34:16.360 or 40
00:34:16.880 years
00:34:17.280 odds are
00:34:18.020 you're going
00:34:18.240 to keep up
00:34:18.640 with that
00:34:18.900 habit
00:34:19.180 but young
00:34:19.680 people
00:34:20.040 don't have
00:34:20.840 that habit
00:34:21.320 to break
00:34:21.820 and frankly
00:34:22.580 I actually
00:34:22.980 don't know
00:34:23.400 anyone under
00:34:24.160 40 with a
00:34:24.940 paper newspaper
00:34:26.000 subscription
00:34:26.560 at all
00:34:27.040 not the only
00:34:27.620 newspaper I
00:34:28.200 subscribe to
00:34:28.800 is the
00:34:29.140 Epoch Times
00:34:29.940 just because
00:34:30.600 I love them
00:34:31.140 I take your
00:34:32.420 point though
00:34:32.820 which is exactly
00:34:33.780 why Trudeau
00:34:34.400 wants to
00:34:34.900 censor
00:34:35.460 social media
00:34:36.420 including
00:34:36.860 alternative news
00:34:37.920 sources like us
00:34:38.760 well that's our
00:34:39.900 show for today
00:34:40.360 until next time
00:34:41.120 on behalf of all
00:34:41.860 us here at Rebel
00:34:42.500 World Headquarters
00:34:43.140 to you at home
00:34:43.740 good night
00:34:44.240 and keep fighting
00:34:45.340 for freedom
00:34:45.760 I want to show
00:34:46.460 you the damage
00:34:47.560 and carnage
00:34:48.400 caused by Justin
00:34:49.100 Trudeau's open
00:34:49.720 border policy
00:34:50.360 at one point
00:34:51.500 of entry
00:34:52.060 into this country
00:34:52.900 an illegal point
00:34:53.980 of entry
00:34:54.420 called Roxham Road
00:34:55.760 in Quebec
00:34:56.280 the Premier of
00:34:57.000 Quebec would
00:34:57.420 like you
00:34:57.840 the federal
00:34:58.260 government
00:34:58.440 to close
00:34:59.000 Roxham Road
00:34:59.640 to shut down
00:35:00.340 that you know
00:35:01.260 basically illegal
00:35:02.060 border entry
00:35:02.760 where people are
00:35:03.500 coming over
00:35:03.860 to seek asylum
00:35:04.500 so what more
00:35:05.500 can the federal
00:35:05.860 government do
00:35:06.540 Quebec's saying
00:35:07.980 hey we're getting
00:35:08.420 an influx of 100
00:35:09.260 people a day
00:35:09.720 this is not
00:35:10.140 sustainable
00:35:10.540 well we watch
00:35:11.500 really closely
00:35:12.020 what takes place
00:35:12.660 at the border
00:35:13.080 and have for
00:35:13.720 many years now
00:35:14.560 we work also
00:35:15.420 very closely
00:35:16.100 with the provincial
00:35:17.200 government in Quebec
00:35:18.260 I've had a number
00:35:19.020 of conversations
00:35:19.620 about Roxham Road
00:35:20.380 since I've been
00:35:20.820 appointed with my
00:35:21.580 counterpart
00:35:22.240 Minister Boulet
00:35:23.060 we have a very
00:35:23.600 positive working
00:35:24.240 relationship
00:35:24.640 we're going to
00:35:25.040 continue to
00:35:25.600 and to the extent
00:35:26.660 we can partner
00:35:27.280 with them
00:35:27.660 to make sure
00:35:28.260 they have the
00:35:29.200 resources that
00:35:29.800 are necessary
00:35:30.300 to manage
00:35:31.020 whatever flows
00:35:31.640 may take place
00:35:32.360 is essential
00:35:33.140 but I also
00:35:34.260 just want to
00:35:34.680 point out
00:35:35.000 that there are
00:35:35.520 both domestic
00:35:36.460 and international
00:35:37.160 legal obligations
00:35:38.640 that bind the
00:35:39.260 government of Canada
00:35:39.820 that we will
00:35:40.360 abide by
00:35:40.960 and we need to
00:35:42.620 work with our
00:35:43.060 partners in the
00:35:43.860 United States
00:35:44.440 to find a
00:35:44.900 long-term solution
00:35:45.720 by modernizing
00:35:46.560 the Save Their
00:35:47.000 Country Agreement
00:35:47.620 as is outlined
00:35:48.300 in my mandate letter
00:35:49.060 now my colleague
00:35:49.940 Alexa Lavoie
00:35:50.740 has done some
00:35:51.380 incredible work
00:35:52.320 at Roxham Road
00:35:53.420 showing you
00:35:54.400 just how hard
00:35:55.540 it is to cross
00:35:56.380 into Canada
00:35:57.160 illegally
00:35:57.720 taxi cabs
00:35:59.160 from New York
00:35:59.760 State
00:36:00.060 traffic people
00:36:00.880 who already
00:36:01.500 don't qualify
00:36:02.220 for asylum
00:36:02.960 in a safe
00:36:03.500 third country
00:36:04.500 the United States
00:36:05.580 so these people
00:36:06.380 just take a cab
00:36:07.620 up to the border
00:36:08.280 and then just
00:36:08.760 stroll on into Canada
00:36:10.280 now much of the
00:36:11.280 data that I'm going
00:36:11.980 to talk about today
00:36:12.620 comes from
00:36:13.280 Conservative MP
00:36:14.320 Raquel Danko's
00:36:15.760 order paper question
00:36:16.900 which asked
00:36:17.800 Immigration, Refugees
00:36:19.060 and Citizenship Canada
00:36:20.160 to divulge
00:36:21.520 just some
00:36:22.840 of the costs
00:36:23.500 associated with
00:36:24.180 maintaining and
00:36:24.920 staffing at
00:36:26.060 that illegal
00:36:26.820 border crossing
00:36:27.520 at Roxham Road
00:36:28.360 where we should
00:36:29.640 probably just have
00:36:30.380 a big fence
00:36:31.560 and not any
00:36:32.220 infrastructure processing
00:36:33.320 people who refuse
00:36:34.260 to follow the rules
00:36:35.460 and come in the
00:36:36.440 front door
00:36:37.060 like everybody else
00:36:38.320 so let's go through
00:36:39.320 these documents
00:36:40.040 together
00:36:40.580 on page three
00:36:41.740 we can see
00:36:42.400 that there were
00:36:43.580 just a little over
00:36:44.540 4,000 asylum claims
00:36:45.860 in all of Canada
00:36:46.720 in 2021
00:36:47.360 and up to
00:36:48.040 23,000
00:36:48.920 by August
00:36:49.760 of 2022
00:36:50.780 and the numbers
00:36:51.820 spike that way
00:36:52.420 because Roxham Road
00:36:53.320 has been accounting
00:36:53.940 for about 97%
00:36:55.340 of all the border
00:36:56.060 jumpers
00:36:56.560 seeking asylum
00:36:57.700 another set of
00:36:58.880 documents we obtained
00:36:59.980 shows that since
00:37:01.200 January 2020
00:37:02.520 Roxham Road
00:37:03.640 has accounted
00:37:04.500 for over 30,000
00:37:05.940 asylum claimants
00:37:06.860 of 32,000
00:37:07.860 in total
00:37:08.340 so
00:37:09.380 what that means
00:37:10.580 is if you close
00:37:11.480 Roxham Road
00:37:12.340 the problem
00:37:13.560 of people
00:37:14.100 illegally coming
00:37:15.040 into our country
00:37:15.820 almost instantly
00:37:17.120 vaporizes
00:37:17.920 it was solved
00:37:19.680 already
00:37:20.180 when the government
00:37:21.020 closed the illegal
00:37:21.820 border crossing
00:37:22.440 during COVID
00:37:23.060 so it can be done
00:37:24.820 the feds
00:37:25.680 just won't do it
00:37:26.720 now
00:37:27.020 anyway
00:37:27.680 let's get back
00:37:28.620 into these documents
00:37:29.780 on page six
00:37:30.740 we can see
00:37:31.220 61 million dollars
00:37:32.680 in costs
00:37:33.260 to immigration
00:37:34.260 in 2021
00:37:35.460 for Roxham Road
00:37:36.560 infrastructure
00:37:37.160 page eight
00:37:37.820 93 million
00:37:38.720 in 2022
00:37:39.460 so we've got
00:37:40.660 155 million
00:37:42.080 in 2021
00:37:42.880 and up to
00:37:44.020 October 2022
00:37:45.220 now starting
00:37:46.160 on page 10
00:37:46.780 the government
00:37:47.180 lists the
00:37:47.780 individual contracts
00:37:49.020 for service
00:37:49.620 at Roxham Road
00:37:51.020 on page 32
00:37:52.260 we can see
00:37:52.760 the CBSA
00:37:53.500 that's the
00:37:53.860 Canada Border
00:37:54.400 Services Agency
00:37:55.320 says
00:37:55.740 4,095 people
00:37:57.980 entered Canada
00:37:59.440 via Roxham Road
00:38:00.800 in 2021
00:38:02.060 and 26,846
00:38:05.100 in 2022
00:38:06.020 up to September
00:38:07.460 now that other
00:38:08.140 data that I showed
00:38:09.100 you only went
00:38:09.900 up to August
00:38:10.560 what that means
00:38:11.280 is another
00:38:11.720 nearly 4,000
00:38:13.460 people
00:38:14.080 came into Canada
00:38:15.460 at that one crossing
00:38:16.360 in one month
00:38:17.060 summertime
00:38:17.800 it's easier crossing
00:38:18.920 page 33
00:38:19.740 that includes
00:38:20.520 CBSA staffing
00:38:21.600 numbers for
00:38:22.180 Roxham Road
00:38:22.760 over 100
00:38:23.440 people generally
00:38:24.420 work there
00:38:25.000 each and every
00:38:25.640 month as
00:38:26.360 border guards
00:38:27.180 the RCMP
00:38:28.000 says they spent
00:38:28.820 7.6 million
00:38:30.460 dollars between
00:38:31.080 April 2021
00:38:32.020 and October
00:38:32.880 2022
00:38:33.600 on Roxham Road
00:38:34.580 which quote
00:38:35.540 does not include
00:38:36.780 regular salary
00:38:37.780 and indirect costs
00:38:39.440 on page 34
00:38:40.560 CBSA lists
00:38:41.520 13 million
00:38:42.300 in costs
00:38:42.700 for Roxham Road
00:38:43.400 in 2021
00:38:44.040 and another
00:38:44.920 26 million
00:38:45.880 for 2022
00:38:46.860 only up to
00:38:47.900 October
00:38:48.320 again
00:38:48.820 page 35
00:38:50.160 CBSA also
00:38:51.460 notes they've
00:38:52.000 spent over
00:38:52.420 a thousand
00:38:52.840 dollars on
00:38:53.420 quote destruction
00:38:54.180 of merchandise
00:38:54.940 for Roxham Road
00:38:56.260 whatever that
00:38:56.920 means
00:38:57.340 so by my
00:38:58.160 math to
00:38:58.700 maintain the
00:38:59.280 illegal border
00:38:59.900 crossing since
00:39:00.580 January 2021
00:39:01.940 we're up to
00:39:02.700 201 million
00:39:03.860 dollars in
00:39:04.380 change
00:39:04.720 not including
00:39:05.740 salaries of
00:39:06.880 up to 100
00:39:07.420 border guards
00:39:08.220 and another
00:39:08.900 39 immigration
00:39:10.400 staff and
00:39:11.040 untold numbers
00:39:11.840 of RCMP
00:39:12.560 and that's
00:39:13.940 just at the
00:39:14.760 physical site
00:39:15.780 of Roxham Road
00:39:17.060 that's not all
00:39:18.000 the social
00:39:18.460 programs
00:39:19.020 housing
00:39:19.420 training
00:39:19.900 and immigration
00:39:20.640 hearings
00:39:21.100 we have to
00:39:22.300 provide to
00:39:22.800 people who
00:39:23.260 just walk
00:39:23.780 into our
00:39:24.120 country
00:39:24.460 and say
00:39:25.200 hi
00:39:25.800 I'm seeking
00:39:26.860 asylum
00:39:27.640 so give me
00:39:29.160 asylum
00:39:29.560 which is
00:39:29.980 something by
00:39:30.440 the way
00:39:30.620 you could do
00:39:31.080 at an
00:39:31.340 airport
00:39:31.600 if you
00:39:32.040 wanted to
00:39:32.480 play by
00:39:32.800 the rules
00:39:33.240 you could
00:39:34.620 frankly have
00:39:35.520 built
00:39:35.860 a really
00:39:36.660 nice fence
00:39:37.540 for 201
00:39:38.800 million dollars
00:39:40.040 for Rebel
