Hello, my friends. I'm going to take you through some astonishing public comments
00:00:04.080
by politicians, not just in Germany, but in America,
00:00:07.940
talking about energy lockdowns, climate lockdowns,
00:00:19.840
Sorry, let me, to have no air conditioning in your home when it's
00:00:24.000
hot out. I'll explain what I mean. I'll show you the picture of it.
00:00:27.280
I'll play some video clips. That's why I want you to get the video version
00:00:31.320
of this podcast. We call it Rebel News Plus. I'm going to show you a bunch of pictures.
00:00:35.380
I'm going to show you some short speeches by some politicians talking about climate
00:00:39.160
lockdowns, talking about just two weeks to bend the curve.
00:00:43.400
And I want you to see it because I don't know if you'll believe it if I just tell you about it. So come
00:00:47.380
and subscribe to Rebel News Plus. That's the video version. It's eight bucks a month.
00:01:03.260
Tonight, climate lockdowns have come to Europe and America. That was quick. It's September 7th and
00:01:43.800
Hey, look at this video. It's from Europe. Take a look.
00:01:47.440
This is what is expensive because in these peak demands, the expensive gas comes into
00:01:53.480
the market. So what we have to do is flatten the curve and avoid the peak demands. We will
00:02:01.580
propose a mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours and we will work very closely
00:02:12.320
That woman has not been elected to her office, but it is a very high office. She is the president
00:02:18.980
of Europe. Ursula von der Leyen is her name. Europe is not a country, of course, but it has a president
00:02:24.880
of the European Union, like a smaller version of the world's United Nations. And she's more powerful
00:02:31.420
in some ways than actual presidents elected by actual countries in the European Union. That's a big
00:02:38.040
reason why the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union a few years back. How could any
00:02:43.740
self-respecting country submit to a president and a European parliament in which their own country is
00:02:50.920
a minority, submissive to a continent of foreigners, even if they're friendly foreigners? Anyways, that's
00:02:57.420
who that is, a globalist by definition, someone who doesn't respect local autonomy or sovereignty by
00:03:03.480
definition. It's not surprising that she loves going to the World Economic Forum. It would be odd if she
00:03:10.480
didn't. They're her kind of people. She doesn't like door knocking or anything so pedestrian that we have
00:03:16.360
in democratic elections and nation states. She likes to hobnob with the oligarchs. Anyway,
00:03:22.940
you heard the woman. Flatten the curve. I can't believe she actually said that. You'll remember that from
00:03:29.800
the first few days of the pandemic lockdowns. Hey, we know it's painful. Hey, we know it's a
00:03:35.640
violation of your civil liberties. Yes, we know it's without democratic legitimacy, but it's just for
00:03:40.740
two weeks. Just let us do this just for two weeks and we'll stop. We promise. Just to flatten the curve.
00:03:47.560
Sure. Mandatory reduction in energy use. Did you hear that part? What do we need energy for? Especially
00:03:55.320
natural gas. I mean, that's really what she's talking about. Well, she used to heat a great many
00:04:00.540
homes. Just that. Cooking. Of course, natural gas is a fuel in power plants. It succeeded coal in many
00:04:09.600
cases. And although much of Europe has its own natural gas, often trapped in shale rock that has
00:04:17.780
to be fracked. Well, environmentalists have been able to scare off progressives and liberals to scare
00:04:24.960
them out of fracking their own gas into banning fracking, to ban their own energy, but to import
00:04:31.820
fracked gas from Russia. Trump warned them not to do that. Remember this amazing video mocking Trump?
00:04:40.420
Reliance on a single foreign supplier can leave a nation vulnerable to extortion and intimidation.
00:04:47.780
That is why we congratulate European states such as Poland for leading the construction of a Baltic
00:04:56.620
pipeline so that nations are not dependent on Russia to meet their energy needs. Germany will become
00:05:04.680
totally dependent on Russian energy if it does not immediately change course. Here in the Western
00:05:14.760
hemisphere, we are committed to maintaining our independence from the encroachment of expansionist
00:05:24.500
foreign powers. That's quite something. Who's laughing now? Those sophisticated Germans having a good
00:05:31.820
chuckle, a good smirk at the orange American loudmouth. Well, maybe they can laugh now to keep warm in the
00:05:39.660
cold winter that's coming. By the way, why do you think that Western environmentalist groups
00:05:44.820
almost never criticize Russian or OPEC oil or gas? Is it because it's dangerous to have a pipeline
00:05:52.200
protest in Saudi Arabia or Iran or Russia? Well, of course it is. It could be killed or at least jailed.
00:05:58.080
Only once have I ever seen Greenpeace protests in Russia. Russia, the largest oil producer in the world,
00:06:03.600
tied with America and Saudi Arabia in terms of daily production. And indeed they were arrested
00:06:09.540
and jailed in an awful jail and held for a long time. Not like Stephen Gilboa, the Trudeau cabinet
00:06:16.500
minister, the Greenpeace activist who hates Canadian energy, pulled a stunt in the CN Tower and got not
00:06:23.740
a day's jail from a liberal judge. Yeah, Vladimir Putin hits a bit different. Greenpeace has never done
00:06:31.160
another protest there again. But of course, most advocacy is not done in real life. It's done online.
00:06:38.640
I can understand why Greenpeace doesn't actually protest in OPEC or Russia or China for that matter.
00:06:44.580
They could get killed or arrested like they were in Russia. But please tell me why Greenpeace
00:06:48.760
won't even have a website about OPEC or Russian oil or a press release or have some events in London
00:06:55.900
or New York or their head office in Amsterdam. Well, I have a theory. And here it is being spoken
00:07:03.580
by Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former head of NATO.
00:07:07.120
Russia, as part of their sophisticated information and disinformation operations,
00:07:16.980
engage actively with so-called non-governmental organizations, environmental organizations
00:07:23.620
working against shale gas, obviously, to maintain European dependence on imported Russian gas.
00:07:40.160
So that's your former head of NATO saying Russia pays environmentalists to oppose fracking,
00:07:46.760
but only in the West. I'm sure they cover their tracks a bit. I'm sure they don't just issue a
00:07:51.840
check that's signed by Vladimir Putin to Greenpeace. Money probably goes from Gazprom
00:07:56.260
to some bank, to some front group in the West, and then from them to Greenpeace.
00:08:03.100
Probably some of that Gazprom money and OPEC money is working here in Canada, too, to attack our energy
00:08:08.340
sector. Whether or not Trudeau is in on it or just a useful idiot, as the communists say, is not known.
00:08:14.420
It's not really important, is it? He opposes them just like Putin would.
00:08:17.860
But these activists shut down coal, and they shut down natural gas, they shut down fracking.
00:08:24.860
Many are against nuclear power, too. And so the continent became hostage to the Russians
00:08:29.720
and their gas pipelines, including one that's called Nord Stream.
00:08:35.580
You might remember that because that's the pipeline that Trudeau literally amended Canada's sanctions on
00:08:40.300
Russia to permit. They sent their pipeline turbines to Canada for maintenance,
00:08:44.320
and Trudeau said, sure, happy to help. There is nothing he wouldn't do to help conflict oil and
00:08:49.840
nothing he wouldn't do to help ethical oil. From Canada, well, Germany's getting really weird about
00:08:56.800
this, don't you think? Their former chancellor, Gerhard Schrader, went to work for Putin at Gazprom
00:09:02.540
after he retired as chancellor. That would be like Barack Obama going to work for an oil company in
00:09:07.040
Saudi Arabia or Venezuela. And not just that, but at the same time recommending that America not drill
00:09:12.040
for oil. Imagine allowing that kind of open, overt corruption. Actually, it's not that hard to
00:09:16.500
imagine. Get a load of this German politician, Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. So she's not
00:09:23.680
some nobody, and she actually is elected, unlike Ursula. Take a look.
00:09:28.200
But if I give the promise to people in Ukraine, we stand with you as long as you need us. Then I want
00:09:38.340
to deliver, no matter what my German voters think, but I want to deliver to the people of Ukraine.
00:09:44.340
And this is why for me it's important to be always very frank and clear. And this means every measure I'm
00:09:51.080
taking. I have to be clear that this holds on as long as Ukraine needs me. We are facing now wintertime
00:09:58.680
where we will be challenged as democratic politicians. People will go on the street and say,
00:10:04.340
we cannot pay our energy prices. And I will say, yes, I know. So we help you with social measures.
00:10:11.020
But I don't want to say, okay, then we stop the sanctions against Russia. We will stand with Ukraine,
00:10:17.800
and this means the sanction will stay also in wintertime, even if it gets really tough for politicians.
00:10:24.280
She said it. She said the quiet part out loud. She said, even if it gets tough for Germans,
00:10:29.600
suck it. She's a German, but she literally will put a promise to a foreign politician above her own
00:10:38.380
voters' interests. Incredible. There was no vote on this. There was no election in which this was a
00:10:43.580
campaign issue. She's just saying it, and so is Ursula von der Leyen.
00:10:50.000
You know, not far away, 50 or 100,000 Czechs, depending on which news headline you believe,
00:10:55.200
rallied the other day to protest against this new energy poverty. I'm sure many of them sympathize
00:11:01.400
with Ukraine. Remember that the Czechs were under Soviet domination for 40 plus years during the Cold War.
00:11:06.620
There may be some pro-Putin types in the protest, too. Sure, why not? But maybe a massive crowd of
00:11:12.580
ordinary people protesting against their energy prices doubling and tripling. Maybe they really
00:11:16.840
do care about energy poverty. They're being forced to choose between paying the heat or paying for
00:11:21.360
groceries. But the millionaire foreign minister and the millionaire EU president don't really care.
00:11:27.180
You can bet their homes will be nice and toasty warm this winter. Of course there will be.
00:11:31.940
I shouldn't just pick on Germany. This is from Switzerland. They've all gone mad.
00:11:38.100
In Switzerland, they're actually threatening you if you use energy. How did that happen?
00:11:47.460
Greta Thunberg is a great symbol. Now, she didn't cause this. She was a symptom of this.
00:11:54.580
PR over substance, ignorance over science, a new religion to replace the old religion, something
00:12:00.160
to believe in. But really what gets me about Greta is that she wasn't wise. She wasn't smart. She
00:12:06.860
wasn't charismatic. Her entire appeal was that she was a child. And not just a child, but a very
00:12:12.580
young-looking child. She looks much younger than she is. And she looked slightly touched. I think she's
00:12:18.580
on the spectrum a bit. It was her very ignorance that was cast as the new kind of wisdom.
00:12:26.120
And a child shall lead them. You know where that phrase is from, right? It's from the Bible, the book
00:12:31.220
of Isaiah. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb. And the leopard shall lie down with the kid.
00:12:38.280
They mean a baby goat. And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together. And a little child shall
00:12:43.780
lead them. Those are impossible things, though. A wolf getting along with a lamb. A leopard with a
00:12:52.160
baby goat. A lion and a calf. And a little child leading them all. That's a description of an impossible
00:12:58.820
place. Utopia. Or the promise of heaven when the Messiah comes. That's why it's in the Bible. It's a
00:13:06.420
fantastical vision of what will come after the Messiah returns. In real life, don't put
00:13:13.580
wolves with lambs. Don't do that. They'll eat the lambs. We protect lambs from wolves in real life. We
00:13:20.360
don't let children lead. Either us or wild animals, they are just children. Imagine taking that phrase
00:13:29.780
from the book of Isaiah literally and doing it. Well, I think we did. I think we let a child,
00:13:37.940
I think we let a child lead us. A real child, like Greta. And unserious, childish politicians,
00:13:45.340
too, like Justin Trudeau, who only thinks of childish things, like his hair and his socks and how he looks
00:13:50.780
and how he sounds. And the media party that loves that about him. So I guess the first thing I should
00:13:57.000
ask you is, are you feeling lucky? I mean, the entire country wants to know, what shampoo do you use?
00:14:05.260
What a disappointing answer this is going to be. Whatever happens to be hanging around at the time.
00:14:11.380
But look at what it means in real life. Look at this from Denver, Colorado.
00:14:16.580
Thousands of Excel customers locked out of thermostats during energy emergency. 22,000
00:14:24.020
people lost control of temperatures in their homes for hours Tuesday. Here's what it looked like on
00:14:30.600
their home thermostat device. You got that notice in your house, temperature was locked. You couldn't
00:14:39.400
do anything about it. Now, that didn't happen to every single person. Just low-income people who
00:14:45.700
accepted, I think it was a $25 reduction in their power bills for the right of the company to turn
00:14:50.660
off the power when they wanted. So the poor can sweat it out in the summer heat. The poor will have
00:14:56.720
to be cold in the winter. That's Colorado in the United States of America. And here is California,
00:15:03.140
the mightiest state. Here's the governor in California. We're now in a flax alert. That sounds
00:15:09.480
really cool. What does that mean? Says the governor. We all need to conserve as much energy as possible
00:15:16.900
during this record-breaking heat wave. Here's what to do until 9 p.m. tonight. Set thermostat to 78.
00:15:24.240
That's very warm, by the way. Turn off unnecessary lights. Yeah, just sit in the dark. Avoid using large
00:15:30.500
appliances. Yeah, don't wash your kids' clothes. Don't cook dinner. You know, flex alert sounds so
00:15:37.020
cool. Just don't use anything big and electric, like, I don't know, say your Tesla. Not that you
00:15:43.880
could afford it. Huh. Look at this. They're literally using those panic emergency messages that they
00:15:51.020
put on your cell phones like they do for kidnapped children, amber alerts.
00:15:55.020
Now, don't you worry. The media party has a perfectly plausible explanation for all of this.
00:16:03.620
Climate change. Climate change, overwhelming California power grid. Is that what's doing it?
00:16:10.180
But it's not climate change, and it's not even the Russians. It's that the West has committed
00:16:15.400
economic suicide by banning things that work. Coal works, oil works, gas works, nukes work,
00:16:21.540
and investing in schemes that don't instead. No one more than Germany, by the way.
00:16:27.780
I don't know if you ever heard of it. They had a thing they called, I think I'm pronouncing it right,
00:16:32.220
Energiewende, which I think means, I think I pronounced that right. I know it means
00:16:36.460
energy turn, energy transition. They spent pretty much close to a trillion dollars on it over the last
00:16:42.040
20 years. No change, though. No meaningful change other than huge, ugly, bird-killing wind turbines.
00:16:50.080
Lots of enriched lobbyists, but no change. They're more reliant on Russia than ever for natural gas.
00:16:56.320
It's a failure, not of a failure of fossil fuels. It's a failure of politicians who banned
00:17:01.900
fossil fuels, just like the last two years of our lives were a failure, not at the hands of a virus,
00:17:10.080
which was the equivalent to a bad flu year. It was a failure at the hands of politicians who locked us
00:17:17.640
down, using the virus as an excuse, using exactly the same language as they do now. Just two weeks
00:17:26.360
This is what is expensive, because in these peak demands, the expensive gas comes into the market.
00:17:34.640
So what we have to do is flatten the curve and avoid the peak demands. We will propose
00:17:42.100
a mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours, and we will work very closely with
00:17:49.400
the member states to achieve this. Yeah, they devastated our health in the name of health.
00:17:57.980
They're devastating our energy in the name of energy. Hmm. And you know, they're coming for
00:18:05.360
our farmers next, don't you? Stay with us for more.
00:18:17.820
Well, one of our most trusted Sherpas to guide us up the mountain of wisdom when it comes to U.S.
00:18:25.980
politics, especially on the Democratic Party side, is our friend Joel Pollack,
00:18:29.320
the senior editor at large at Breitbart.com. He's written books about the Democrats, I think even more
00:18:34.520
than he's written about the Republicans. It's important for us to know the other side.
00:18:39.500
And we're delighted to have him. He literally pulled over to the side of the road, hopped out
00:18:43.500
of the car. We're going to do an interview on his cell phone. So he's made time for us. I think he's
00:18:47.860
actually on vacation. Without further ado, let me introduce our good friend Joel Pollack. Joel,
00:18:52.220
great to see you in lovely California. I say it's lovely, but actually there's blackouts and brownouts
00:18:58.700
in the state that's the mightiest state of the union in terms of GDP. They can't keep the lights on.
00:19:04.520
Well, I'm here in San Francisco, and this area is one of the few that had some power problems,
00:19:11.140
but the state narrowly avoided a massive rolling blackout situation, which they had prepared
00:19:17.960
to unfold on Tuesday evening. We are out of energy. And one of the reasons we're out of energy is that
00:19:25.420
we've moved away from fossil fuels. We have pushed into renewables like solar and wind before they are
00:19:32.580
capable of making up the difference. And so our peak crisis hours are between 4 o'clock p.m. and 9 o'clock
00:19:40.660
or 10 o'clock at night. And that's because there's no solar energy. The solar energy starts dwindling
00:19:45.480
in the mid-afternoon. And by about 5.30 p.m., you've got the worst of all worlds, maximum demand for air
00:19:53.860
conditioning in a heat wave and dwindling supply because there's no solar energy coming through or
00:20:00.200
less than there is during the midday hours. So we've had eight consecutive days of what they call
00:20:06.040
a flex alert, which is a situation where the state asks people voluntarily to conserve electricity,
00:20:12.580
including by not plugging in their electric vehicles. And those are the vehicles the state
00:20:16.720
is mandating that people buy from 2035 onward. As of 2035, according to Governor Gavin Newsom,
00:20:22.520
you can no longer buy a gas-powered passenger vehicle in the state of California unless it also
00:20:27.840
has some kind of electric engine. There are a few exceptions, but basically we're all going to have
00:20:31.840
to drive electric vehicles. That means the grid's going to have to produce 30 percent more power than
00:20:35.980
it currently does. And that's with the loss of a nuclear plant in 2030. They delayed that by five
00:20:42.000
years, but still we're going to lose it before 2035. And with natural gas plants being shut down.
00:20:47.660
Ironically, the state just turned on four new natural gas plants that it built for emergencies.
00:20:53.040
So in this heat wave, electricity crisis, energy emergency, we have now activated four natural gas
00:21:00.260
plants, good old fossil fuels, in a pinch. You know, it's funny. Our friend Alex Epstein,
00:21:07.120
who wrote the great book called The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels, he says, don't call them renewables
00:21:13.280
and non-renewables. That's not the proper categories. He said, use the word reliables
00:21:19.520
and unreliables. And I think that's really spot on. Nuclear power, coal, natural gas,
00:21:26.240
you can rely on them. As you just pointed out, they are the panic button for California.
00:21:32.220
You can't rely on wind when it's either too windy or not windy enough.
00:21:35.840
You can't rely on solar in the night. And even if you could, both are so much more expensive.
00:21:41.280
You'd have the kind of energy poverty you're seeing in Europe.
00:21:44.620
All I see in the media party, in the mainstream media is climate change is to blame. Climate
00:21:50.460
change, it did not shut down reliables. Politicians did. I feel like this is a disaster at the hands of
00:22:00.080
politicians, but they're trying to blame, you know, like the Aztecs trying to blame some, you know,
00:22:10.820
Well, the funny thing about that is even if you assume that climate change is happening,
00:22:15.500
turning off nuclear power plants is the worst way to deal with it, right? Because you've got nuclear
00:22:19.480
energy for zero emissions. So we disconnected the San Onofre nuclear plant several years ago. That was
00:22:26.180
supplying 9 percent of the state's energy needs and I think 17 percent of the needs for Southern
00:22:30.320
California. That's gone. They were about to turn off the Diablo Canyon nuclear reactor, the last one
00:22:35.740
in the state. And then Gavin Newsom waded in and told the legislature to delay five years. That passed
00:22:42.420
last week on the verge of this crisis. So we're going to still have one nuclear power plant. But
00:22:48.580
you're right. As reliables turn off, you start to see the deficiencies in renewables. And two years
00:22:56.380
ago, exactly this time of year, we had a very similar energy crisis. And Gavin Newsom told California
00:23:01.660
consumers we needed to sober up about the limits of solar and wind because they don't work when the
00:23:07.240
sun isn't shining or the wind isn't blowing or, as you put it as well, blowing too hard, right, for the
00:23:11.680
turbines to work. And yet then just a few weeks later, he announced this mandate for everybody to buy
00:23:16.900
electric vehicles. So people are scratching their heads here, even on the left, and wondering why
00:23:21.640
we are requiring people to buy electric vehicles that were then telling them they cannot charge
00:23:27.780
in a crisis between the hours of 4 and 9 p.m. Does not make sense. You're stuck. It's crazy. And of
00:23:35.200
course, that I don't know if you saw that Excel Energy in Colorado turned off the thermostats in 22,000
00:23:41.480
in their customers' homes. Now, those people had agreed to it for a reduction in price. So basically,
00:23:45.720
the poorest people in Colorado who needed that $25 discount or whatever, well, they can bake in
00:23:52.280
the summer heat, while wealthy people can get their air conditioning. I had a premonition of many
00:23:58.620
things to come, climate lockdowns. We see in Europe them talking about mandatory reductions in energy
00:24:05.660
use, not voluntary. I'm terrified by it. But I want to ask you, I mean, there's a lot to talk about
00:24:11.500
there. But I know we only have you for a couple more minutes. So let me shift gears to what I think
00:24:16.280
was an absolutely astonishing moment in American political history. And it was this speech by Joe
00:24:23.080
Biden. And it's not just the speech. It was the staging, the setting, the color, the iconography.
00:24:29.900
It felt like it was a satire. It felt like I'm just going to say it. It felt like Nazi iconography,
00:24:39.800
Nazi color, blood red, black, armed soldiers in the background. It felt like a parody of
00:24:48.000
a Hitler speech. And I'm not comparing Biden to Hitler. I'm just saying visually it was something
00:24:54.240
that Lenny Riefenstahl would have set up. Here, take a quick look at that speech.
00:24:59.340
And here, in my view, is what is true. MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution.
00:25:07.140
They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people.
00:25:12.340
They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they're working right now,
00:25:17.600
as I speak, in state after state, to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and
00:25:26.040
cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself. MAGA forces are determined
00:25:33.960
to take this country backwards, backwards to an America where there is no right to choose,
00:25:42.080
no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.
00:25:49.160
They promote authoritarian leaders and they fan the flames of political violence
00:25:53.620
that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law,
00:26:01.420
to the very soul of this country. He was angry. He called his opponents. He implied they were
00:26:08.760
fascists. He denounced any MAGA Republicans, which was, you know, any one of the millions
00:26:16.100
of people who voted for Trump. He said they were a threat to democracy. It was a fascist speech
00:26:22.800
in a fascist setting. What on earth happened, Joel? What was that all about? Did he know he was doing
00:26:29.100
it? Who approved that? What was the point of that?
00:26:32.060
So I think it is a deliberate attempt to make the election about Trump and to rally the Democratic
00:26:38.220
base to come out against Trump to frighten them into thinking that if they give congressional power
00:26:44.380
back to Republicans in the midterm elections this year, that means bringing back the evil,
00:26:49.440
bad orange man. So I think that's very much what they were aiming to do. As for the staging of it,
00:26:55.400
I think they hoped that Independence Hall would provide a patriotic setting.
00:26:58.760
They would allow Biden to champion or posture as the champion of the Declaration of Independence
00:27:06.460
and the Constitution, both of which were drafted there. But, you know, I think that the people in
00:27:12.880
the Biden administration just are at a certain level incompetent. They did not know how to stage
00:27:18.240
that speech properly. If you saw a wide angle view of the speech, it looked less ominous. So they
00:27:23.260
probably looked at pictures of Independence Hall and thought, oh, that looks great. Red, white,
00:27:26.920
and blue. They didn't realize that when the camera panned in, when it zoomed in on Biden,
00:27:32.820
all you would see is the red. Likewise, they thought that having Marines behind the president
00:27:37.400
would emphasize the patriotism of the location. Instead, it looked like they were imperial guards
00:27:43.220
from the Death Star and Star Wars. You know, it looked really bad. Plus, it was a disgrace for
00:27:48.100
the Marines to have to be exploited that way in a political speech. So I think there was some
00:27:53.820
incompetent staging. You never would have seen that at the Trump White House because, say what you
00:27:57.160
will about his tweets, he had a definite feel for stagecraft, having come from the entertainment
00:28:02.160
industry, the real estate world. So he understood how to stage a speech. And I think the staging was the
00:28:07.500
greatest failure. It really made many Americans feel like Joe Biden is actually scarier than Donald
00:28:12.580
Trump, which is quite something because Joe Biden's excuse, or the excuse made for him has always been
00:28:17.380
that he's mentally incapable of being malicious. But that speech was really scary. And the fact
00:28:23.200
that he was labeling Trump supporters as, as you put it, fascists, you know, the word semi doesn't
00:28:27.780
really change the word fascist. That's really scared people. So I think it backfired. I think
00:28:32.360
Democrats know it backfired. And Biden has spent the last several days trying to backtrack from some of
00:28:36.840
the things he said. No, he wasn't talking about all Trump supporters, just the elected ones. Well,
00:28:41.780
you know, who elects them? I mean, who elects the quote unquote MAGA Republicans? Besides which,
00:28:46.740
Trump's defense here has been basically to catch the Democrats as hypocrites. I mean,
00:28:53.080
Peter Doocy of Fox News put it to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre that she had called an election
00:28:59.020
stolen on several occasions, 2016, 2018. So if that's extremist, isn't she an extremist? And her answer
00:29:06.000
for that was just terrible. So I think the Democrats really shot themselves in the foot here. And they've
00:29:10.120
given Trump voters a reason to come out to the polls in November. Here's that quick exchange
00:29:14.120
from the White House. I thought it was a great question and a terrible answer. You take a look.
00:29:18.400
The new attention on the MAGA Republicans. You tweeted in 2016, Trump stole an election.
00:29:25.620
I was waiting, Peter, when you were going to ask me that question.
00:29:28.420
Well, here we go. You tweeted Trump stole an election. You tweeted Brian Kemp stole an election.
00:29:33.680
If denying election results is extreme now. Yeah. So let's, let's be really clear that that comparison
00:29:42.180
that you made is just ridiculous. I have been, I have been, well, you're asking me, you're asking
00:29:46.300
me a question. Let me answer it. I was, I was talking specifically at that time of what was
00:29:52.920
happening with voting rights and the, what was in danger of voting rights. That's what I was speaking
00:29:57.900
to at the time. Well, what's the temperature? Because, uh, you know, a year is happening every
00:30:03.460
month. The news is so dense. I mean, I remember when the, uh, the overturning of Roe v. Wade was
00:30:08.820
going to be the issue for the midterms. Who knows? Maybe it will be inflation. Um, you know, the price
00:30:15.520
of energy. What is the mood out there? I, it's not too far away. We're after labor day now,
00:30:21.680
you know, October, November, two months away. Um, listen, a lot can still happen, but what do
00:30:28.500
you predict is going to be the result? Uh, can Republicans hold it together as they have felt
00:30:34.660
like for the last year that they've, they're going to have a victory in the midterms or can
00:30:38.720
Biden and the Democrats and the media party derail it? I think the best prediction would be that the
00:30:44.180
Republicans take the house and that the Democrats hold on in the Senate. There's a definite
00:30:49.640
groundswell of opposition to Biden that will fuel a lot of these congressional races.
00:30:54.140
At the same time, the Republican Senate leadership is very lackluster and has not
00:30:57.580
inspired Republican voters. So I think that Democrats may just hold on in the Senate.
00:31:03.640
However, Biden has really antagonized Republicans so much that they're much more engaged right now
00:31:07.760
than Democrats are. The Roe v. Wade decision is motivating some Democrats to come out and vote,
00:31:12.520
but they already live in liberal states. So I don't know how much of an impact that's going to have.
00:31:16.260
The best bet right now would be for a split Congress, but anything can happen.
00:31:20.900
All right. There you have it. Joel Pollack, senior editor at large of brightbar.com,
00:31:23.740
pulling over the highway in lovely San Francisco to give us an update. Thanks for interrupting your
00:31:28.180
vacation for us. I'm at work actually, but thank you as well to all your viewers.
00:31:33.940
All right. There you have it. All right. Take care, my friend. Stay with us. Your letters to me are next.
00:31:38.280
Hey, welcome back. Your viewer mailed to me. Love84111 writes,
00:31:54.100
euthanasia is a new word for murder. We will see more of this as it's cheaper for the government.
00:31:59.920
Well, that is the inexorable end to it. Protecting the system becomes more important than the system
00:32:06.000
protecting citizens. At least a private customer, private company values a customer and wants that
00:32:13.840
customer to live as long as possible. Now, maybe the private company actually wants the customer to
00:32:18.740
spend as much money as possible. Okay, fine. At least that's keeping the customer alive.
00:32:22.480
But when the money is the government's and the service provider is the government's,
00:32:25.860
they absolutely have an economic incentive to cut off anyone unhealthy. Oh my God, a hundred thousand
00:32:31.100
dollars worth of surgery. Hey, why don't we do something free and recommend that they kill
00:32:35.520
himself? That's exactly what they're doing. And the grossest part is that they're starting with the
00:32:39.600
veterans. Our 1957 Bobo, that sounds like a robot's name, says, this is disgusting. Aren't doctors
00:32:48.080
meant to have sworn an oath to protect life? Surely these people who are treating these guys
00:32:52.600
bound by the same. Yeah, the Hippocratic oath, do no harm. Obviously it's been ignored here because
00:32:58.640
they're government doctors. I mean, haven't you learned from the last two years that a great
00:33:03.060
many doctors will do exactly what the government tells them to do? Paul McCullough says, back from
00:33:09.440
30 days in Facebook jail, I'm thinking puppets like Trudeau are being replaced. We're seeing that
00:33:15.340
Centers for Disease Control and others backtracking, they did the intended damage. Now they'll take the
00:33:20.580
fall. If need be, war will be next. They have a lot of covering up to do a huge war or a series of
00:33:25.460
smaller ones will do the trick. Well, there is war overseas in Ukraine and Russia. I'm not sure if
00:33:32.720
that's actually distracting people here at home because I don't think there's, I mean, there are
00:33:36.400
a million or so Ukrainian Canadians who surely have a stake in there and others who are just
00:33:40.980
interested. But I don't think that's distracting. I think people, I think there's an economic
00:33:45.880
malaise that's coming, high interest rates and high inflation combined. That's a deadly combination.
00:33:51.460
I think they're going to have a circus where they try and turn the Emergencies Act judicial
00:33:59.200
inquiry into why Trudeau invoked martial law, trying to flip that around and put the truckers
00:34:04.280
on trial. I'm sure Trudeau has that in mind. And of course, he's not done. As I said in my monologue,
00:34:09.900
they declared war on energy. Now they're about to declare war on farmers. It's a constant state of
00:34:16.360
crisis. Somehow they profit by it. A lot of dark things out there, but we'll keep fighting. Until
00:34:22.140
next time, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters, to you at home, good night
00:34:26.140
and keep fighting for freedom. You know, I saw this very moronic clip the other day. Of course,
00:34:32.140
the media in Canada didn't report on the very stupid thing that Justin Trudeau said, but
00:34:36.380
the Americans did. The clip even turned up on Fox News' Tucker Carlson show. Here it is.
00:34:42.820
I'm just wondering, what do you think is behind the rise in threats that politicians are facing?
00:34:54.980
We've been through a lot as a country, as a world over these past years. Obviously, the pandemic,
00:35:01.860
increasing anxiety because of climate change, transformations of our economy, rise in mental
00:35:10.840
health and addiction problems, particularly with the opioid crisis that has been ravaging
00:35:16.700
communities right across the country. It's a lot of pressure on a lot of people.
00:35:22.240
Ah, yes, yes, yes. Climate change. That's the reason we can't get along with each other.
00:35:27.280
It has absolutely nothing to do with the perpetual stoking of hate by our Prime Minister, the man
00:35:33.000
who called my fellow Canadians things like this.
00:35:36.000
00:36:27.540
00:36:43.860
excusez-moi, mais il n'y a pas de débat sur la science.
00:36:46.740
And yet, Trudeau just can't seem to figure out why we're all so deeply divided.
00:36:54.260
Seven years in power, who do you think caused this radical shift in the political culture in Canada?
00:37:00.200
For all the left-wing hyperbolists who spent 10 years crying about what an extreme fascist Stephen Harper was,
00:37:06.320
Harper didn't go around shooting journalists with riot-controlled guns.
00:37:09.420
Or trampling grandmothers in the streets, or arresting other grandmothers for opposing him,
00:37:23.140
Harper was prickly with the media, sure, but he didn't try to ban or control or censor them.
00:37:28.200
But Justin Trudeau, he knows how to fix this political division in this country,
00:37:33.160
and the hate crimes following it, because hate crimes are following it.
00:37:39.740
It's an official federal government announcement.
00:37:44.480
Justin Trudeau announced an action plan for the 2SLGBTQI plus community.
00:37:52.980
I think they switched around some of the letters there from the last time I read something on this topic.
00:37:58.120
Anyway, the action plan includes funding to build a more inclusive future for sexually diverse people,
00:38:03.500
including funding for community organizations, criminal law reforms,
00:38:08.480
funding for Canada's feminist international assistance policy,
00:38:11.980
which sounds like funding for abortions abroad, abortion colonialism.
00:38:17.000
There's also money for supporting Indigenous 2SLGBTQI plus resilience,
00:38:25.700
and resurgence, including a dedicated two-spirit senior advisor position within the government.
00:38:33.680
They want to engage everyone in Canada in fostering a more inclusive future by investing in awareness campaigns.
00:38:39.420
Friends, I've seen how Justin Trudeau engages people, and I want no part of it.
00:38:44.940
And they want to embed sexual minority issues in the work of the government of Canada,
00:38:50.340
and this will all cost $100 million over the next five years.
00:38:55.780
Look, I don't want anybody to face discrimination for any reason.
00:39:01.720
But when you have been given the entire summer instead of just a week or a parade to celebrate your lifestyle,
00:39:07.180
I'm pretty sure you're not as oppressed as you think you are.
00:39:09.860
And I actually have the statistical data to prove it, so this isn't just my opinion.
00:39:17.280
Remember last year when the alleged discovery of 200-plus graves of children at a residential school in Kamloops
00:39:23.460
sparked a summer of church burnings and anti-Christian violence?
00:39:27.640
If you need a refresher on the topic, my friend Jorea Humphrey just made a documentary.
00:39:31.840
It's called Kamloops, The Buried Truth, and it's about her attempts to get to the bottom
00:39:35.900
of what really happened at Kamloops and her challenges in simply getting straight answers.
00:39:44.460
But nobody needed straight answers or inconvenient facts or an investigation for that matter
00:39:50.320
for Justin Trudeau to empathize with those who were burning our churches.
00:39:55.760
He was empathizing with people committing anti-Christian terrorist arsons.
00:40:00.680
One of my reflections is I understand the anger that's out there against the federal government,
00:40:11.340
It is real and it is fully understandable given the shameful history that we're all becoming
00:40:18.320
more and more aware of and engaging ourselves to do better as Canadians.
00:40:27.200
Let me show you what that looks like using government statistics.
00:40:30.640
While sexual minorities get a special secretariat and $100 million in funding,
00:40:35.780
Christians, and specifically Catholics, were on the receiving end of 260% increases in police
00:40:43.300
Four times more than the rise in hate crimes for sexual minorities.
00:40:49.020
And no one in Trudeau's lapdog media will even tell you about this.
00:40:54.480
Us Catholics, we're inconvenient to the liberal agenda.
00:40:59.400
And we certainly don't worship the government over God.
