Why should others go to jail when you're the biggest carbon consumer in the land of the first? Why should you be jailed when you won't give them an answer to that question? Why should the government be spying on you if you don't want them to spy on you?

00:00:00.000 tonight i think we're slipping further down the road to tyranny i have some anecdotes for you
00:00:19.000 it's february 11th and this is the azure levant show why should others go to jail when you're a
00:00:26.200 biggest carbon consumer i know there's 8 500 customers here and you won't give them an answer
00:00:31.420 the only thing i have to say to the government about why i publish it is because it's my bloody
00:00:36.720 right to do so i saw this video the other day a police officer with a uniform and a badge and a
00:00:47.780 gun going unannounced and unprompted to a private citizen's home to talk to them about a peaceful
00:00:55.740 protest they were planning to attend here take a look sorry since you're at my home can i just get
00:01:01.880 your name and your badge number please i have a card here okay it's erica ingram thank you and this is
00:01:07.040 just some information about peaceful protests that's all it is okay so you saw something on my facebook
00:01:13.460 no on the facebook group okay and decided to come to my personal residence to give me information
00:01:20.900 about peaceful protest yes okay so are the peterborough police no you're with opie um are you guys now
00:01:30.400 monitoring people's facebook pages or facebook groups to who comments as to what their um
00:01:37.360 uh status updates are or what they're doing or within the group like because if the protest
00:01:44.320 happening province-wide yes we have been monitoring the protest okay so there's a protest coming up um
00:01:50.600 simply providing you with information about a peaceful protest and now i'm leaving oh okay that
00:01:56.020 is all so the ontario provincial police are watching what people are doing on facebook in
00:02:02.560 different groups whether or not they're commenting participating liking and you guys are now doing
00:02:07.440 service calls to give people information about peaceful protest yeah it's just a proactive measure
00:02:12.540 to make sure you understand your rights about peaceful protesting i absolutely i have a copy of the
00:02:17.560 canadian charter of rights and freedoms so i'm well within that and and very understanding of that
00:02:22.440 uh i appreciate that i'm i'm hoping that uh you guys aren't going to waste our tax dollars continuing
00:02:27.420 to do this to everybody but uh now it's nice to know that uh we're we're being watched
00:02:32.140 so if you have any questions my cell phone number is on the card thank you okay so the police are going
00:02:40.040 door to door surprising people by letting them know they're being spied on that's what that was
00:02:47.740 the police aren't giving this homeowner information about peaceful protests she already has the
00:02:53.660 information from the facebook page the police are the antagonists they're the people who will arrest
00:02:59.640 you and have you charged and prosecuted it's a lie that they're giving you tips it's a legal conflict
00:03:05.820 of interest for them to pretend to be giving you advice on how to protest she gave no useful
00:03:12.740 information that that was a lie that insults the intelligence that cops purpose was to terrify people
00:03:19.380 they come during the day perhaps so the man's way to let people know they're being spied on and if they
00:03:25.740 didn't like this police visit well they better not do anything more proactive measures to make you
00:03:32.640 understand your rights said the cops sorry that's a doug ford style lie it was a proactive measure to
00:03:37.820 make sure you don't exercise your rights that's canada now that cop should be charged with a mask
00:03:43.820 violation though did you notice that as if they ever follow their own rules i saw that today
00:03:49.580 last night i saw that doug ford had sent lawyers to court ex parte that means it was a sneak attack the
00:03:57.340 lawyers for the other side weren't there the truckers lawyers weren't given any notice they weren't
00:04:01.400 invited to the secret hearing to seize all of their funds you might remember that a week ago the left
00:04:07.460 wing crowdfunding website called gofundme seized the truckers money and planned to give it to their
00:04:12.800 own choice of recipients instead that caused such outrage amongst u.s politicians not a peep up here
00:04:18.760 in canada that gofundme decided to return the money to the donors so the truckers set up a new crowdfunding
00:04:23.980 campaign on give send go it's another website which promised to respect their freedom sounded good
00:04:30.060 but uh doug ford went to court to freeze those funds give send go laughed at an ontario court trying to
00:04:38.220 seize funds in the u.s in the land of the first amendment but anyone in canada would be foolish
00:04:42.860 to mess with this court order until it's repealed i suspect it will be overturned soon when the truckers
00:04:48.040 lawyers get to court it'll be interesting to see what information was used by the police to persuade
00:04:53.640 the judge but in case um you're not clear canada is now the place where government seizes your bank
00:05:00.140 accounts if you oppose them too effectively and the government sends armed police to your house to
00:05:07.060 warn you about facebook protests you're involved with you know look at this here it's uh luckily the
00:05:13.980 human rights group called amnesty international has weighed in on the whole situation amnesty
00:05:18.180 international let me read their canada statement on freedom convoy blockade it's a bit weird they put
00:05:25.360 the word freedom in quotes almost like they don't like to use that word anymore i thought that was
00:05:30.040 actually what amnesty international stood for yeah not in a long time uh here's what they say
00:05:36.380 amnesty international canada is deeply troubled by the reports of violence harassment intimidation and
00:05:43.380 hate speech which have surfaced since january 29th said amnesty international secretary general
00:05:48.560 ketty nivya bandy nazi flags confederate flags and other symbols of racism and hate exhibited have no
00:05:57.160 room in peaceful protests equally concerning is the affiliation of some of the convoy organizers
00:06:02.280 with overtly racist white supremacist groups yet none of that's true that's just all gossip and
00:06:09.020 rumor that's that's literally justin trudeau's talking points how embarrassing amnesty international
00:06:14.740 is now against the right of peaceful working people to protest they they can't get enough
00:06:20.540 of civil liberties violating lockdowns what even are they they're cheering for police enforcement
00:06:27.020 against peaceful protests they hate the truckers i mean uh they're truckers they're peaceful but
00:06:34.020 here's another amnesty international press release in support of a terrorist murderer war criminal named
00:06:40.060 omer cotter same human rights group they're fine with him the truckers are doing amazingly well no
00:06:46.740 violence just peaceful and civil disobedience i mean look at the news just today there was a blockade at
00:06:53.140 the manitoba minnesota border yesterday and today the government there announced an end to certain parts
00:06:58.540 of their lockdown not enough not soon enough but do you doubt it was these brave truckers who are saving us
00:07:03.720 it certainly wasn't the politicians on their own last night we got a tip someone recorded a phone
00:07:09.140 call to them from ontario premier doug ford please get your messages and i got about 250 as of once
00:07:15.340 today yeah i'm gonna make this quick because i gotta get no worries uh we're pulling these passports
00:07:22.100 we're gonna get back to normal and uh you know i can't give you the exact date uh but it's gonna
00:07:28.440 be very soon okay okay no i'm gonna be speaking uh over the next few days friday you're gonna put
00:07:34.320 out a statement monday i'll be giving some dates and we're gonna uh move forward okay thanks a lot
00:07:40.620 thank you so 250 people had called doug ford just that morning demanding an end to these vaccine
00:07:48.180 mandates and doug ford said he would do so he's a liar of course but you can see that the truckers
00:07:52.900 are inspiring a lot of people to stand up to ford instead here's what ford actually announced today
00:07:58.960 he's going to turn against the truckers with brute force so let me be as clear as i can
00:08:05.100 there will be consequences for these actions and they will be severe we've already started by going
00:08:14.820 after the money funding the illegal occupation yesterday an ontario court granted our request
00:08:21.800 to freeze the funds from give send go for the convoy the opp has also provided additional resources
00:08:31.820 to ottawa police services and windsor police services to satisfy their recent requests for
00:08:38.260 operational support and more needs to be done we're strengthening the tools and the powers
00:08:45.420 of our police forces to resolve this situation and restore order let me be clear the government
00:08:53.800 does not direct our police forces but we do set the laws today i'm using my authority
00:09:01.700 as premier of ontario to declare a state of emergency in our province and i will convene cabinet
00:09:08.680 to use legal authorities to urgently enact orders that will make crystal clear it is illegal and
00:09:16.640 punishable to block and impede the movement of goods people and services along critical infrastructure
00:09:25.780 this will include protecting international border crossings 400 series highways airports ports bridges and
00:09:36.820 railways it will also include protecting the safe and essential movement of ambulatory and medical services
00:09:44.740 public transit municipal and provincial roadways as well as pedestrian walkways fines for non-compliance will be severe
00:09:54.900 with a maximum penalty of one hundred thousand dollars and up to a year imprisonment
00:10:01.880 there's a lot in there and illegal occupation well actually that's not what any court has said all the auto
00:10:07.920 court said about the truckers there was that they can't honk their big noisy air horns at night and
00:10:12.980 frankly that's fair enough and a toronto court agreed to freeze the money of good send go give send go just
00:10:20.120 temporarily until the trucker lawyers can present themselves and have a full hearing illegal occupation
00:10:26.100 says who says some politician moments before he says he doesn't direct the police well he just told
00:10:32.340 them that he as king judge i guess has deemed them an illegal occupier well if that's the case uh the police
00:10:39.640 pretty much have to do what he says don't they i mean if it is illegal but doug ford's not a judge
00:10:44.360 i had to laugh when he talked about guarding our borders uh maybe we can get some of that guarding
00:10:50.000 our borders business uh down at roxham road we can actually use some police there doug ford's trying
00:10:56.280 to town sound tough emergency laws hundred thousand dollar fines a year in prison license is taken away
00:11:02.480 that's quite something i'm unaware of any other crime that stops a man from having the right to earn a
00:11:08.180 living and for example even if you're bankrupt you're allowed to keep your tools to work you can commit
00:11:13.160 murder and all that can be done to you is a prison term you can't and won't have your ability to earn
00:11:20.260 a living be taken away but for embarrassing doug ford i guess there's that punishment fines for
00:11:26.500 blocking pedestrians did you catch that part i wonder what the labor unions think of this rule
00:11:30.940 gee i wonder if that could ever be used against them and the strike i mean that really is what these
00:11:36.560 truckers are doing it's a kind of general strike but big labor is along with big government and big
00:11:41.560 farmer and big tech they're they're not with the working man anymore no one is for the little guy
00:11:45.540 anymore certainly not mr ford nation neither are the federal conservative mps though i'm sorry to tell
00:11:52.040 you here's a story in black locks let me just read the headline and the first two sentences
00:11:57.700 likens truckers to terrorists the commons public safety committee yesterday voted 11 to 0
00:12:04.820 to investigate crowdfunding for ideologically motivated violent extremism in canada the vote
00:12:10.560 came as one mp freedom convoy a compared freedom convoy truckers to terrorists quote we as policy makers
00:12:17.340 have to anticipate the new landscape that is before us said new democrat mp alistair mcgregor
00:12:22.000 the mp read out section 83.01 of the criminal code in accusing truckers of terrorism and opposing vaccine
00:12:29.140 mandates so the conservatives voted for that they didn't vote to investigate gofunding for seizing
00:12:35.260 the truckers money or to express outrage at ontario seizing funds from the opposition truckers
00:12:39.620 they voted to investigate the truckers the so-called conservatives did how do you feel about that
00:12:45.120 in fact their interim leader candace bergen is telling the truckers to stop the protest she she's
00:12:50.840 sort of had enough of it guys the vaccine mandates are still in effect you you can't get on a plane
00:12:55.620 or train in canada without being vaxxed thousands of people are being fired from their jobs for not
00:12:59.620 being vaxxed the trucking vaccine requirement is still in effect that's the whole thing this whole
00:13:04.840 trucker convoy was about but candace bergen says it's over guys come together the economy you want to see
00:13:11.680 reopen is hurting farmers manufacturers small businesses and families are suffering i believe this
00:13:20.600 is not what you want to do we must all work together you are protesting because you love your country
00:13:27.800 and you want your freedom back to the protesters here in ottawa you came bringing a message that
00:13:34.760 message has been heard conservatives have heard you and we will stand up for you and all canadians who
00:13:41.720 want to get back to normal life we will not stop until the mandates have ended
00:13:53.320 you know for all the tough talk by police though they haven't done anything tough yet now maybe that'll
00:13:59.480 change by the time this video i'm recording it in the afternoon goes to air at nine i mean sure the ottawa police
00:14:05.720 have stolen a lot of diesel fuel jerry cans which is weird and i think it's criminal acts and it's very petty
00:14:11.720 and frankly it's embarrassing but i don't think they've actually arrested any truckers for being
00:14:15.880 there have they they haven't seized any trucks or towed them that i've seen all this butch talk about
00:14:21.960 emergency acts and new laws doug ford actually doesn't need any new laws i can think of some
00:14:27.320 in effect already the highway traffic act the the criminal code the crime of mischief that big bridge
00:14:33.080 is privately owned you could call that trespass i mean there are a lot of laws
00:14:36.520 laws theoretically loitering jaywalking some of these are being handed out in ottawa i understand
00:14:42.200 but they're just tickets they're not high crimes the minor provincial offense is a parking ticket
00:14:48.200 really you don't arrest someone for that so so doug ford or justin trudeau or jason kenney really
00:14:54.440 wanted to do something they actually have the laws go in there and make an arrest for mischief
00:14:58.040 or trespass but they lack the will not because they're not brutal these are terribly brutal people
00:15:03.720 they brutalized us for two years but they've been real bullies about it they they pick on
00:15:08.120 individuals anyone who pokes their head up they pick them off like arthur pavlovsky again and again
00:15:12.120 in calgary because they know he won't fight back with violence or that 78 year old man in ottawa who
00:15:17.640 honked his horn so the police wanted to show him who was boss yeah it's so gross or remember adam
00:15:23.960 skelly the one brave restaurateur in toronto so politicians are really brave at picking on individuals but
00:15:30.280 how about a hundred or a thousand or ten thousand people at once it really is an emergency i suppose
00:15:35.880 it really is a breach of public order but the thing is after two years of bullying and scaring and lying
00:15:40.840 to us people sort of they side with the truckers against the politicians and even against the cops if
00:15:46.280 this blockade were in 2019 i think the government and police would have the moral authority to go in
00:15:51.480 and just root them out but now people have watched two years of absurd rules that by their
00:15:57.160 you know by by the way the fancy people never follow the rules themselves it's it's not as clear
00:16:02.280 cut now wouldn't you say and unlike greenpeace protesters who are obviously malicious these
00:16:07.000 truckers aren't professional troublemakers this is the first time they've done anything political
00:16:11.320 in their lives they're not trying to destroy the economy they're actually trying to save the economy
00:16:15.720 including their own jobs so let me put it another way why would you call in the army
00:16:21.400 or even the swat team if you are too politically terrified
00:16:23.960 to even just send in a beat cop with handcuffs which they could do at any time but boy has
00:16:30.200 the chattering class you know the macbook laptop at the cottage class the zoom class the lockdown
00:16:36.760 class the the political and media class boy have they been excited about the army about crushing the
00:16:43.000 truckers violently it's it's quite something how butch and these ink stained wretches can be there's
00:16:49.080 nothing more physically weak and impotent than a pundit i should know i have soft hands but it's
00:16:54.520 quite something to read some of the rageful plans that journalists have for these truckers here's a
00:17:00.120 harvard lawyer and cnn pundit juliette cayenne says slash the tires empty gas tanks arrest the drivers and
00:17:08.920 move the trucks well that is that is very tough i don't know if it makes sense to slash the tires if you
00:17:15.320 want to move trucks i don't know if that would help and i don't know if you've ever seen
00:17:19.480 a truck tire uh when it's burst it explodes like a bomb um but this cnn general is ready to go to war
00:17:26.680 and she's got the tactics planned out in canada it's even more pitiful here's a columnist named tasha
00:17:32.360 keratin who actually i'm not even kidding says she's thinking of uh running for the conservative
00:17:37.320 party of canada leadership and there's just a groundswell for tasha keratin she says i would
00:17:42.440 declare a national public order emergency under the emergencies act in section two of the cses act
00:17:48.280 and call in the military wow call in the military you know she's cool here's matt gurney the little
00:17:56.360 weasel who when he was the national post he actually chaired the town hall meeting of staff
00:18:01.000 to denounce rex murphy he chaired that he's so tough this rex murphy and here's what he says on twitter
00:18:06.120 he's ready to go to war he says the scale of the humiliation in ottawa and the length of it has dragged
00:18:11.560 on will require a very dramatic state response to reassert control not even in ottawa necessarily
00:18:17.480 but canada will need to remind everyone its boss not necessarily violently but decisively hey guys
00:18:25.560 you've embarrassed trudeau too much he's humiliated so because you've embarrassed him we need to be
00:18:32.200 dramatic because this is all big show isn't it it's not about freedoms or rights or the law
00:18:38.200 drama needs drama sorry about that guys but we have to show you who's boss and in matt gurney's mind
00:18:45.800 that's the government that's the police now that doesn't necessarily mean we have to get violent with
00:18:51.720 you but we just might says the coward matt gurney who the hell are these little fascists it's half the
00:18:57.800 press gallery they're lusting for violence i thought they were against violence it's the truckers who are
00:19:03.640 against violence it's the media who's for it and that's my point all these so-called liberals who
00:19:08.760 claim to be thoughtful and peaceful and reasonable their opposition to the truckers is so visceral they
00:19:14.040 so total they have dehumanized them and now they want to exterminate them i don't know but only if
00:19:22.120 necessary says matt gurney just imagine for a moment how would that work i mean so you bring in the army
00:19:32.200 in their military uniforms with their their full kit their rifles i presume maybe maybe some grenades
00:19:38.600 or i don't know little missiles or something maybe you got some cf-18s flying overhead maybe some armored
00:19:43.640 vehicles maybe a tank to to do what to to shoot somebody because that's sort of what soldiers do i don't
00:19:51.480 think soldiers even have handcuffs they don't really know how to arrest people i don't think
00:19:56.280 they did a great job in oka no disrespect but i i don't think that was the right answer there uh
00:20:01.880 soldiers don't know the criminal code they they they haven't studied it they haven't studied the
00:20:05.480 charter of rights they they don't know how to process arrestees why would you send in soldiers
00:20:11.320 to deal with peaceful truckers who haven't shown an ounce of violence
00:20:15.640 why for that butch spectacle the macker anyone's to end the humiliation of the political class to
00:20:21.080 show you who's boss that's what matt gurney actually said that's what the goal was
00:20:26.440 judo has gone full banana republic already ford doug ford is literally seizing his opponent's bank
00:20:31.640 accounts imagine rolling out military violence to tackle peaceful protesters that just completes
00:20:36.280 the image and i tell you again uh look how easily the descent into fascism look how easily
00:20:42.200 we're falling we're two years into this i remind you that it was two years from hitler becoming
00:20:49.080 chancellor of germany to bringing in the nuremberg laws and then it was another three years
00:20:55.320 until kristallnacht and then it was another year until war with poland and then it was a few more
00:21:01.240 years until the holocaust actually reached its peak it was a decade now i'm not saying we're going
00:21:07.560 to go all that way god forbid but in two years oh my god we have gone pretty far
00:21:12.840 you can see the elements of it the demonization of a minority calling them unclean the segregation
00:21:19.480 ghettoization of those unclean people the cowardly judges approving it all the media becoming
00:21:25.720 propagandists the opposition parties acceding to everything the vanguards calling for blood
00:21:31.960 only if necessary yeah we've gone pretty far down the road in two years haven't we
00:21:36.600 these truckers gotta tell you they've all we got left stay with us for more
00:21:56.280 well as you know rebel news has distinguished itself by having the most reporters
00:22:00.200 on the ground at the most places across canada you'd think that would fall to the cbc or ctv or global they
00:22:06.280 are billion dollar companies all of them subsidized here one way or another by the government but
00:22:10.760 that's precisely why they have not covered the trucker convoy they wish it never existed they
00:22:15.880 ignored it as much as they could then they defamed it uh we on the other hand are telling the other
00:22:21.080 side of the story we're just pointing our cameras at things and letting you the viewer judge and one of
00:22:25.880 the places where we have reporters right now is at the ambassador bridge between detroit windsor
00:22:32.200 ontario and joining us now live via skype is our friend david the manzoid manzies who's out there on
00:22:39.400 the street david how you doing oh i'm doing great ezra and by the way speaking to the mainstream media
00:22:44.280 they are here on mass but if they're to my right you can see they're across the street from all the
00:22:51.320 demonstrators i think they look upon these people as so many typhoid marys the they're deplorables and
00:22:57.720 undesirables they they don't want to get the covid cooties so uh so they are here but uh lord knows
00:23:05.960 what they're reporting well um i know you're there with our young reporter isabel pan around i'd like to
00:23:11.880 see uh the lay of the land there if you could just slowly spin around the camera let's see what we can
00:23:16.760 see sure well let's check out the bridge first uh ezra isabel you can just pan there there is the
00:23:23.480 ambassador bridge i don't know if you can see it yeah and you see these uh cars here this ezra is
00:23:29.480 essentially the off-ramp for traffic coming from michigan into ontario uh it is blocked and uh there's
00:23:38.680 a few big rigs there's a lot of passenger cars some campers um there was a development uh earlier today
00:23:46.680 as you can see there's one lane where there are no longer cars that lane was blockaded so it's a
00:23:52.920 goodwill gesture the demonstrator said we're going to let you utilize one lane of traffic but i can
00:23:58.200 tell you ezra since we've been here we have not seen one vehicle come across the bridge even though
00:24:05.400 there is uh technically access with this one lane that's open all right can you have the camera go
00:24:11.880 more to the right i want to see the bridge a little bit more we didn't see it uh okay then so just just
00:24:17.560 put it on the bridge itself a little further okay can we go more to the right we'll walk on can you
00:24:24.680 go more to the right just like yeah there we go yeah i just wanted to see that and if you could hold
00:24:29.480 the camera i guess you're walking across the street don't mind me giving camera directions from
00:24:34.600 uh a few hundred miles away i just i just want the to pan more to the right right
00:24:41.080 right pan more to the right as well okay yeah hold it there so that's is that the bridge there
00:24:49.320 that is the bridge the ambassador bridge uh as you know ezra privately owned uh which surprises a lot
00:24:56.040 of people and of course the big development today was premier ford around 10 45 announcing a state of
00:25:04.360 emergency uh that uh you know enough is enough essentially he's telling these demonstrators
00:25:11.400 that the consequences of remaining here if told to uh move by law enforcement they will be severe
00:25:18.840 namely up to 100 000 in fines one year in prison also um having driver's license licenses revoked
00:25:29.800 so this is serious stuff and i can tell you ezra uh we were doing streeters right after the doug ford
00:25:38.200 press conference and um the opinions are split here we have met people that say no i can't afford that
00:25:45.960 and we've met other people that say they're holding the line uh they will have to be arrested their
00:25:51.000 vehicles will have to be towed and one uh elderly gentleman he said to me uh essentially that uh he
00:25:59.800 he already has lost his freedom as far as he's concerned what difference does it make if he's
00:26:05.160 sleeping in a car overnight here on the off-ramp of the ambassador bridge as opposed to sleeping in a
00:26:12.040 prison cell i found that profound and i found it very sad too ezra all right now i don't want to focus
00:26:17.880 too much on the physical layout there but i just want to understand are those like to the right of you
00:26:23.800 there your left uh the camera is right is that an open lane like can someone drive through to to go to
00:26:33.160 michigan right now like over your shoulder um i think it's your left shoulder my right i see what
00:26:40.680 what looks like a toll booth perhaps the camera can focus on that and you can and you can describe
00:26:46.520 like what is that is that the and yeah i know all of these lanes that you see behind me these are
00:26:54.840 heading into the city of windsor from the bridge okay us traffic canada bound on the other side it's
00:27:01.560 two it's uh we have a block view um that's been blocked since wednesday night okay so no canadian traffic
00:27:09.720 going to the us is getting through and that's a very small blockade that would be uh i think easily
00:27:17.000 tollable if the police come down on them well right i mean of course we've seen pictures of
00:27:21.720 the bridge itself with large heavy trucks what i see there are just little pickup trucks really
00:27:27.000 yes there is about uh oh i don't know uh four or five big rigs you know the big 18 wheelers
00:27:33.960 the rest as you said the passenger cars pickup trucks a few campers and um you know one thing
00:27:40.360 i wanted to touch upon too ezra is um the declaration of a state of emergency uh there's no cholera outbreak
00:27:49.320 here it's not a health situation there's no riots and molotov cocktails and arson going about i think
00:27:57.400 what premier ford was saying is that this is a fiscal state of emergency he mentioned
00:28:03.960 700 million dollars of goods is being prevented from crossing the bridge each uh every day and
00:28:12.280 that is the impetus for this state of emergency but you know as we talked to ezra before in the office
00:28:18.120 it's funny isn't it just two years ago the railroad bulkades billions and billions of uh damage to
00:28:24.280 the canadian economy went on for weeks no demon uh demonization of those people no vilification
00:28:31.400 by the government and the media and no real urgent timetable i mean it was eventually shut down but
00:28:37.560 it went on for several weeks this is day five of this protest so i guess it you know depends on uh
00:28:46.040 oh i don't know identity politics in terms of what is an emergency and what is not an emergency
00:28:52.440 even when you're talking about the money angle well yeah and if someone wanted to talk about economic
00:28:58.600 loss i would suggest to you that doug ford's own lockdown and justin trudeau's lockdown have caused
00:29:05.480 a billion dollars of damage a day uh to our economy perhaps even more uh okay so behind you is windsor
00:29:12.040 is what you're saying um are there is there anything else that's of interest to look at where you are
00:29:17.640 um well i can tell you we uh we can't really show up by camera we're out of range but what's been
00:29:25.160 happening uh in the last several hours is increased policing increased uh concrete uh blockades of roads
00:29:35.560 so the feeling here i mean when i was here with natasha on tuesday night there was a real festive
00:29:42.360 atmosphere you know people literally dancing in the streets playing road hockey now there's an
00:29:48.520 ominous feeling ezra it's like they're waiting for that shoe to drop they know the state of emergency
00:29:55.560 has been declared uh the city of windsor and two automobile manufacturing associations were in superior
00:30:02.600 court at noon trying to get an injunction uh the last i checked i don't know if they got it or not
00:30:08.760 uh let's assume they they get it um so there is an ominous feeling especially with the consequences
00:30:16.600 if they stay so we're here we don't know when uh this is going to happen oh i can also tell you this
00:30:23.560 ezra we have seen more and more law enforcement coming into the city of windsor where we're staying
00:30:29.800 the hotel we're staying at ezra uh waterloo police uh which are i believe waterloo might be almost 200
00:30:37.400 kilometers away from windsor uh they're here on mass so something's going to happen the question is
00:30:44.680 when yeah very interesting well of course uh at that hearing i want to let you know david
00:30:50.600 that the democracy fund had lawyers that were granted intervener status status to speak up for
00:30:57.720 civil liberties so i don't know how that hearing uh concluded but i'm very pleased to say that civil
00:31:02.920 liberties lawyers from our friends at the democracy fund were in there making the case uh for a light
00:31:08.760 touch from authorities we'll see how it goes i'm really glad you're down there thanks very much for
00:31:13.560 joining us i know you guys did the live stream at noon today which was great so thanks for the update
00:31:18.200 and um you know i think that if there's going to be enforcement action anywhere it'll probably be at
00:31:24.280 that bridge which is so economically important uh i uh i know that trudeau has the legal tools
00:31:33.160 and doug ford has the legal tools to make arrests and move those vehicles without emergency powers
00:31:39.240 without his insane fever dreams of the military so i think there's some cowardice and also some
00:31:46.680 realization that they if they go in too heavy-handed that'll please the bloodlust of the media party but i
00:31:53.080 think it could cause a general strike in canada and i know that sounds absurd but i think describing
00:31:59.320 this trucker protest as a general strike is the most accurate description it's not just truckers
00:32:04.360 it's farmers it's regular people it's all across the country it's a general strike which i think frankly
00:32:11.080 is appropriate given the general crisis and the complete failure of the entire establishment
00:32:16.280 we'll see how it goes but i appreciate you being there on the ground david well thank you so much
00:32:21.160 for this opportunity to report from windsor uh ezra and uh we uh meeting uh isabel my camera person
00:32:28.120 and i we are here uh to witness what's going to go down i think you're right it's going to be
00:32:33.240 a very delicate operation i will say this unlike ottawa where the it's a logistical nightmare it might
00:32:39.480 take weeks to move all those rigs out with heavy toes this is a much more doable disassembly process
00:32:47.960 i think and uh like i said not a matter of if but when uh law enforcement comes in and uh we'll be
00:32:56.680 here to make sure we catch it on camera my friend all right well there you have it david the men's
00:33:00.840 or men's east thanks for being on the scene at the ambassador bridge and uh stay safe my friend
00:33:05.640 thank you right on there you have it stay with us more ahead
00:33:17.320 hey welcome back your letters t urban says canada has sparked love and unity for freedom for all
00:33:22.920 people all over the world evil hates this and will always overplay its hand stay strong true north strong
00:33:29.880 and free we love you i have seen echoes of this convoy around the world and i think that it's
00:33:37.320 really absurd i don't know why the entire establishment maybe because they can't lose face
00:33:43.720 but as i asked the other day why did every single jurisdiction in the whole world every country every
00:33:48.440 city every state every public health officer all say and do the exact same things i mean how did that
00:33:54.920 happen that that doesn't seem like a natural coincidence like all of them why are they all so
00:34:00.280 vicious with mandates like what like if you really do have 90 percent of people vaxxed why are you so
00:34:06.360 insane about the last 10 percent like the truckers and stuff like you're willing to bring in the military
00:34:12.520 to take on a peaceful protest why it's the it's just i don't understand it it's about power it's not
00:34:21.560 about health that's i don't understand it someone with the nickname the uneducated sheep says section
00:34:29.160 12 of the charter as part of the constitution is a legal rights section that protects an individual's
00:34:33.400 freedom from cruel and unusual punishments canada everyone has the right not to be subjected to any
00:34:38.600 cruel unusual treatment of punishment like hundred thousand dollar fines yeah i don't believe that uh
00:34:45.480 that threat by doug ford will see the light of day i mean i'm sure he will promulgate the law
00:34:50.600 but a hundred thousand dollar fine for a parking offense is cruel and unusual treatment you're
00:34:54.920 exactly right it's so absurd especially if you're dealing with someone who was peaceful first time
00:35:00.600 offense non-violent just said no i'm having really a sit-in on the bridge here um i don't think i'd be
00:35:07.800 i would be surprised if you had anything more than a conditional discharge i don't know maybe you're
00:35:11.480 going to have a judge who hates these folks but as i've said when we've done our crowdfunding
00:35:15.400 for lawyers uh for these truckers my point is you know if terrorists like omar qatar and
00:35:21.160 college sheikh muhammad and saddam hussein can be given a good lawyer the least we can do for
00:35:26.040 these truckers is to give them a good lawyer so we're crowdfunding those well that's our show for
00:35:29.960 today until monday on behalf of all of us here at rebel world headquarters keep fighting for freedom
00:35:35.640 you know the rebels are going to be out there on the streets on the weekend across the country
00:35:39.400 we're the news you can trust because we're right there on the ground cbc is taking their
00:35:44.760 marching orders from justin trudeau we just show you what's happening let me leave you with our
00:35:50.040 video of the day mass ticketing of peaceful protesters in milk river alberta let's see how
00:35:56.280 far that goes and you bet we'll be defending people with either rebel news or our friends at
00:36:01.880 the civil liberties charity the democracy fund more on that but let me leave you with that video
00:36:06.440 see you later and we'll talk to you on monday
00:36:22.440 i just got off the phone with uh calling adam seuss who was up at milk river and he says that now
00:36:29.160 there is another rcmp checkpoint behind milk river blocking people even getting there
00:36:43.800 just with the press they told me to come around this way okay so rebel news yes okay just one
00:36:48.520 second let me check in with them yeah if you give me 30 seconds and we'll get you on your way no rush man
00:36:52.040 thanks so folks an urgent and critical update right away from here just outside of milk river at the rcmp
00:36:58.840 blockade the rcmp just had a press conference and they have announced that they have staged a new
00:37:05.560 legal protest area closer to milk river where people are being urged to move effectively what
00:37:13.480 we're hearing is that if people do not move to that area there will be enforcement they would not go into
00:37:19.000 too much detail but potentially arrest certainly ticketing if people do not move willingly
00:37:25.720 from the perspective of the police i can say that the people behind us have been very pleasant to deal with
00:37:32.280 there's been some incidents that have taken place but overall it hasn't been violent we're staying put
00:37:40.120 and uh we're holding the line peacefully and uh you know what they can write us tickets uh we're not
00:37:45.720 doing anything we're on public land right to protest and uh we're we're not going anywhere
00:38:00.840 so
00:38:13.560 are trying to get people to move out of this place right
00:38:29.160 right we're not going anywhere we're not going anywhere there's going to be more coming okay
00:38:35.780 here's the deal okay like i said i'm i've been working for 25 years i've never done this kind
00:38:42.340 of thing before i kind of don't even want to be here in some ways right but i got a couple of kids
00:38:47.240 so that what you see behind you is the commencement of traffic enforcement this is a highway in
00:38:52.760 albertasville the rules of the road and the traffic safety act still obey so as you see the
00:38:59.840 guys moving they're going vehicle to vehicle getting license plates looking for owners and
00:39:04.660 traffic violations are going to be issued
00:39:06.860 so as i've said we're here to keep the peace both on the police side and the public side
00:39:22.720 this line is not moving as you can see they haven't moved they're holding it is a police
00:39:26.780 action yeah so this is an unlawful protest communication had gone out that we're going
00:39:31.460 to start traffic enforcement so if you look behind us or if you're able to when you are
00:39:35.740 they are just doing traffic enforcement nobody's going to jail at this point and that's what we
00:39:39.940 want to communicate to everybody nobody's going to jail and i think we're communicating well
00:39:44.080 because that line is broken up
00:39:46.080 i can't go on the bus i can't go see my 85 year old mother i'll never see her again because i can't travel
00:40:06.080 i can't even leave this country i can't even leave canada freedom that's what i'm fighting for god bless you truckers
00:40:20.080 effective at midnight the restriction exemption program and all its requirements will come to an end
00:40:26.080 i can't speak for everybody but i know from quite a few people i've talked to and myself that it's
00:40:32.080 it's always been everything has to be gone completely with no chance of reoccurring
00:40:38.000 like when they put in brackets in their their step one and step two that we'll do these things oh if
00:40:44.880 the numbers and things don't you know don't go back up i mean they can manipulate numbers all day
00:40:50.080 long so that doesn't mean anything so until everything's completely gone we're here and we're supporting
00:41:02.080 creatingavan everywhere and then the fighting divine flying flying flying flying flying flying flying flying flying
00:41:15.120 solidarity
00:41:18.720 Canada is unifying
00:41:22.340 as we stand here together
00:41:24.720 Canada
00:41:29.120 real reporters
00:41:36.700 not quite sure if you can hear me
00:41:39.240 the horns are once again blaring
00:41:41.640 after a massive show of force
00:41:44.300 the police effectively going through
00:41:46.980 to every vehicle
00:41:48.760 that was parked along the road here
00:41:51.180 outside of the RCMP
00:41:52.440 blockade
00:41:53.840 that's right
00:41:54.500 every single vehicle effectively being ticketed
00:41:57.620 they have now left
00:41:58.920 and only remains the original RCMP officers
00:42:01.840 who are holding the border here
00:42:03.980 at this RCMP blockade
00:42:06.200 the trucks are letting their horns be heard
00:42:09.100 throughout the night now
00:42:10.500 letting off some steam as it were
00:42:12.000 and some stress
00:42:12.640 after the tent situation escalated
00:42:15.320 the RCMP as I mentioned
00:42:16.740 have mostly rolled out
00:42:18.220 so it seems like for the evening
00:42:19.940 things have certainly quieted down
00:42:21.680 likely to remain a situation
00:42:24.380 where no vehicles are getting through here
00:42:26.900 unless they live in the area locally
00:42:28.900 and things are set to likely quiet down
00:42:31.920 as it gets a little bit colder
00:42:33.540 and people huddle around the fires
00:42:35.340 to stay warm
00:42:36.180 yet another stalemate of sorts here
00:42:38.960 at the RCMP blockade
00:42:40.980 we will certainly be back here tomorrow though
00:42:43.480 to bring you more of this story
00:42:45.240 we'll see you next time
00:42:52.840 for next time
