Tonight is a form of apartheid making a comeback, no not in South Africa, but right here in Canada. No, not in Johannesburg, South Africa where apartheid is still reigning supreme, but in Toronto, Canada where it was eradicated in the early 90s.

00:00:00.000 tonight is a form of apartheid making a comeback no not in south africa but right here in canada
00:00:22.380 it's friday august 19th 2022 i'm david menzies and this is the ezreal event show
00:00:30.000 shame on you you sensorious bug
00:00:36.420 i experienced a life-changing event on february the 13th 1988 even though i didn't even realize it
00:00:52.540 at the time the venue was the now defunct ballymatrix gym in north toronto after a brutal
00:00:59.340 workout i went downstairs to relax in the gym's hot tub well let me tell you folks more than the
00:01:06.000 water was hot in the tub that day directly across from me and just a mere 24 hours before saint
00:01:12.600 valentine's day no less was the bikini clad woman who would go on to become the future lady menzoid
00:01:19.500 of course me being an unobservant doofus i was completely oblivious to any kind of love connection
00:01:27.340 occurring as for lauren well after that brief encounter lasting all of 15 minutes punctuated
00:01:34.680 with banal small talk she returned back home to inform her mother that she had just met the man
00:01:41.660 she was going to marry and talk about woman's intuition some 34 years later we're still together
00:01:47.940 but here's the thing at the end of the day this meeting would never have occurred if it were not
00:01:55.400 for an odious political system that was in place some half a world away you see lady menzoid originally
00:02:04.300 hails from south africa back in the dark old days when this nation was governed by the appallingly
00:02:10.660 racist system known as apartheid under apartheid rights of citizens were based on skin color
00:02:18.540 caucasians who made up the country's smallest minority well they were at the top of the totem pole
00:02:25.060 and enjoyed all rights and privileges then there were the so-called colored people whose rights were
00:02:31.200 somewhat abridged the most disenfranchised of course were black people who also happened to
00:02:37.740 make up the vast majority of the population and resided in this country long before any white man
00:02:44.080 had set foot upon south africa you know when you look back at apartheid the system is so absurd so
00:02:53.620 preposterous that it's almost hard to believe that it ever actually existed in the first place
00:03:00.200 it's akin to jerry seinfeld's brilliant take on professional wrestling who thought up professional
00:03:06.700 wrestling i mean if there was no professional wrestling do you think you could come up with
00:03:10.440 this idea i go wait i have a tremendous idea why don't we have huge guys in bathing suits pretend to
00:03:15.340 fight in any event lauren's family was extremely well off living in johannesburg they lived in a well
00:03:21.620 appointed home complete with both pool and maid her father operated a highly successful business
00:03:28.060 and south africa itself it's a beautiful country and yet for those with a conscience it was becoming
00:03:36.240 increasingly difficult to live in the south africa of yester decade it was becoming impossible to ignore
00:03:44.200 the apartheid elephant in the room indeed globally south africa was deemed to be a pariah thanks to its
00:03:51.920 racist and unjust political system beginning in the 1960s the nation was rightfully banned
00:03:58.240 from competing and international sporting events ranging from the world cup of soccer
00:04:03.180 to the olympic games south africa was also the original target of the boycott divest and sanction movement
00:04:10.760 which certainly caused the nation enormous economic harm and definitely accelerated the movement for
00:04:19.200 political reform as a side note how perverse is it that when one now speaks of the boycott divest and
00:04:27.800 sanction movement of today the bds adherents target israel you know the most vibrant democracy in the entire
00:04:36.940 middle east welcome to bizarro world folks yet south africa was truly a deserving target of bds and sporting
00:04:45.020 bans and demonstrations the world over and by 1977 my future wife's family had had enough they gave up their
00:04:53.100 comfortable lifestyle and moved to north america to start all over again from scratch incidentally the choice
00:05:00.460 for a future home was narrowed down to either toronto or los angeles they visited toronto first in the month of
00:05:08.300 july and discovered to their shock that hey the weather in hogtown was hotter and more humid than the
00:05:15.260 weather back in joeberg so they dropped anchor without ever bothering to check out la and needless
00:05:22.220 to say my wife's family endured a climatic shock to the system once the gales of november came early
00:05:28.620 so why am i telling you all this background stuff well it's because my spouse said something the other
00:05:36.140 day that really stuck with me she said that it seems that in our not so wondrous woke world of 2022
00:05:45.420 apartheid is making a comeback no not in south africa mind you where it was eradicated in the early 90s
00:05:53.100 no a form of apartheid light if you will is being embraced in so many western democracies
00:06:01.260 due to political correctness and wokeism and yes marxism and the target of this new apartheid
00:06:10.060 is not people of color but rather white people indeed it has become increasingly trendy in some circles
00:06:18.620 to demonize and vilify white folk the due rigueur buzzwords range from white privilege to white
00:06:25.500 supremacy and hardly a day goes by when there isn't some story in the popular press disparaging caucasians
00:06:34.460 why just the other day i came across a fascinating story in post media headlined quote university
00:06:41.100 offering course called angry white male studies end quote the story begins quote the university
00:06:48.460 of kansas wants to look into the rise of the angry white male in the united states and the united
00:06:55.340 kingdom according to reports this course charts the rise of the angry white male in america and britain
00:07:02.380 since the 1950s exploring the deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluate evaluating recent
00:07:11.740 manifestations of male anger the course will be taught by christopher forth who is a professor of
00:07:18.700 history serving in the departments of women gender and sexuality studies and american studies
00:07:26.140 forth will seek to teach where does the angry white male come from what's he angry about is his anger
00:07:33.900 misplaced is he blaming the right people how long has this been going on
00:07:40.220 is he a global phenomenon and how do we move forward end quote oh thank god a gender studies guru has found
00:07:49.740 some new propaganda to peddle but seriously do white males have a monopoly on anger even if one is a
00:07:58.460 hardcore leftist does anyone really believe there are any valid statistics behind the premise
00:08:06.780 that since the 1950s white males are becoming increasingly upset i mean how would you even scientifically
00:08:15.020 track such a phenomenon in the first place or maybe this nutty professor at the u of k is basing his perverse
00:08:24.700 premise on pop culture after all the course description features a photo of brad pitt from fight club
00:08:33.820 maybe professor for source material is oh i don't know the internet movie database if that's the case well
00:08:41.500 yeah i have to admit there is indeed plenty of fodder when it comes to angry white males for starters take it
00:08:50.460 away dr banner
00:08:57.180 oh am i
00:09:03.180 uh
00:09:13.900 uh
00:09:15.900 uh
00:09:23.900 uh
00:09:25.900 um judges can we have a ruling here namely folks if a white man turns into a green man
00:09:40.380 due to his anger issues is he truly 100 caucasian next up how about that grumpy white music teacher who
00:09:48.780 completely lost it with jerry lewis in the patsy diaphragmatic breathing with greater volume from the
00:09:55.100 chest like this
00:10:05.500 yeah folks that's me at the local coffee shop whenever they screw up my order
00:10:15.420 and lest we forget the michael douglas rant in falling down after he deemed he was being ripped
00:10:22.460 off at a convenience store package of six how much dollar 12. oh too much
00:10:35.420 aspirin price 3 40. oh please
00:10:43.260 one final clip this time from the superb sc tv
00:10:47.340 in which angry white maleness is actually monetized here check out rent a retort at rent a retort we
00:10:55.660 provide you with professionals who win your next argument with the speed and control of a highly
00:11:00.380 trained specialist what are you doing in my living room you ugly stab how dare you come down on this
00:11:06.140 man this saint this man who happens to be good with figures but a man who has provided for you and
00:11:10.780 given you life and you just sit around the house you fat ugly cow now call me a racist if you must but
00:11:18.220 i could use a guy like that sometimes especially when covering leftist protests but undeniably
00:11:26.300 there's a growing acceptance that being anti-white is good not bad do you recall our interview last
00:11:33.340 month with mcmaster university student tyler henderson check this out so tell me tyler your professor
00:11:41.100 had an issue with you because you are a white male why would that be
00:11:48.940 so uh at the start of the semester they they did the uh uh preamble regarding safe space
00:11:57.020 and after the class i i stayed back behind uh to talk to the professor about it and that's when she said
00:12:03.580 that um she was she didn't want white men to participate in her class um she went on to
00:12:11.820 describe to me as to why it was because of it being a safe space for other people and um how
00:12:19.260 if someone like me shares that it would no longer be a safe space fascinating so a white male student
00:12:26.380 speaking in a classroom turns the classroom into an unsafe space as if the classroom is now
00:12:34.140 afflicted by a downed electrical wire or the presence of a rabid pitbull really it's incredible
00:12:42.860 how an institution such as mcmaster university states that it is committed to promoting diversity
00:12:49.420 on one hand while on the other hand allows a professor to embrace selective racism and sexism
00:12:58.380 but then again today's woke folk have actually changed the definition of racism which is to say folks
00:13:05.100 did you know that according to the progressive left white people cannot be victims of racism i kid
00:13:15.180 you not check out this delightful demonstrator and what she had to say when we covered the dufferin
00:13:21.660 grove park occupation back in the summer of 2020 and i'm extremely angry at the people who show up like
00:13:29.260 you who like to instigate people and make people literally relive their traumas by asking
00:13:34.860 them hateful questions what trauma are these people reliving intergenerational trauma from white
00:13:40.860 folk like you who walk around that sounds racist really it's not racist you can't be racist a white
00:13:47.820 person a white person cannot experience racism they can't people who can experience racism are those
00:13:54.940 affected by racism oh juliet juliet wherefore art thou but hey apartheid light is even being
00:14:04.540 embraced by the federal government these days check out this tweet from public safety minister marco
00:14:10.620 mendicino just a few days ago quote online hate and harassment particularly targeting female racialized
00:14:20.220 and indigenous journalists is blatantly unacceptable this alarming trend has intensified recently
00:14:29.660 and threatens both the safety of those involved and the overall role and independence of the media
00:14:36.460 end quote so what pinocchio with a portfolio is saying here is that virtual hate and harassment against
00:14:46.300 journalists is bad but it's really really especially bad when it happens to anyone who is not a white
00:14:54.220 male journalist really really marco why and where did this compulsive liar pluck his data from remember
00:15:03.900 this is the same minister who repeatedly said law enforcement asked the government to invoke the
00:15:10.220 emergencies act back in february which is a lie this is the same minister who said recent improvements to
00:15:17.980 the arrive can app has reduced wait times at montreal trudeau airport by as much as one third
00:15:25.180 which is a lie and another thing where was this lying liar when his blackface loving boss
00:15:33.740 sick the royal canadian mounted henchman on yours truly last december for what exactly oh yeah
00:15:42.140 practicing journalism on a public sidewalk hey this is assault i'm on a side what is this i'm on a sidewalk
00:15:56.460 what is this you cannot push me no question are you kidding are you kidding let's call me what is this
00:16:12.380 you can't am i under arrest am i under arrest am i under arrest am i under arrest because otherwise
00:16:19.500 you're no right oh well played mr trudeau i think fidel castro your dearly departed friend and perhaps
00:16:28.380 something more than a friend would have been proud of that banana republic shakedown in hogtown
00:16:35.660 but again where was the condemnation from mr mendicino for that old school physical beatdown
00:16:42.540 jimmy cricket why is pinocchio so silent all of a sudden was it due to my race or my sex or my ideology
00:16:52.700 or just maybe all of the above what an absolute disgrace this man is but i'll tell you who is
00:17:00.380 really rolling over in his grave right now regarding the perversity on display when it comes to so-called
00:17:07.580 acceptable racism and sexism and it's not some bitter old angry white man but rather
00:17:16.140 a brilliant black scholar i speak of martin luther king jr who almost 60 years ago
00:17:22.700 gave his most famous speech in washington dc i have a dream
00:17:31.740 my poor little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of
00:17:39.500 their skin but by the content of their character i have a dream yeah can you imagine that folks judging
00:17:46.780 people by the content of their character bottom line dr king had it right more than a half century ago
00:17:55.660 in dreaming of a colorblind society but today's so-called progressive leftists and marxists
00:18:03.900 well they subscribe to a different mantra that being two wrongs make a right these radicals
00:18:10.700 are playing a despicable and downright dangerous game when it comes to embracing acceptable forms
00:18:19.180 of racism and sexism and they are dividing society as they do so
00:18:29.660 well folks recently a canadian forces veteran was seeking treatment for a post-traumatic stress disorder
00:18:37.260 and a traumatic brain injury and what happened well shockingly an employee with veterans affairs canada
00:18:45.660 nonchalantly asked the veteran if he had considered committing suicide wow it makes you really wonder
00:18:53.660 what the biggest danger zone is for our brave soldiers these days is it some foreign battlefield or is it the
00:19:01.580 local veterans affairs canada office unbelievable and joining me now for more on this truly disturbing
00:19:10.860 story is mark meinke a veteran himself and the host of the podcast operation tango romeo which is also
00:19:19.980 known as the trauma recovery podcast hey there mark welcome to the ezreal event show thanks for having
00:19:27.740 me on today david it is a pleasure so mark this story sounds like a very bad joke albeit one without a punch
00:19:35.580 line a veteran seeks help for various trauma that he has endured and right away the veterans affairs rep
00:19:44.700 points to the nuclear option i.e suggesting that he consider assisted suicide what were your initial
00:19:52.620 thoughts when you heard about this story well the veteran community like all other communities have
00:19:58.700 diverse opinion but they're pretty united on this one shock and dismay although the responses that i
00:20:07.100 because i'm a central point in the veteran community so i i get all the the cross wins they come right here
00:20:14.140 and we have people that uh had trouble believing it at first from people that weren't shocked at all
00:20:20.940 because of their own personal experiences with veterans affairs and i and i have to say no david veterans
00:20:27.100 veterans affairs does help people uh they've helped me they've helped so many others but that doesn't
00:20:32.540 mean there's not uh big gaps and this is certainly to say the least a big gap no and suicide is a serious
00:20:41.020 thing i understand with veterans uh mark i mean uh i understand the figures 12 canadian forces members
00:20:47.580 died by suicide last year between 2015 and 2019 69 others died via suicide so this is you know not some
00:20:59.900 like bizarre anomaly members of the armed forces for whatever reason are taking their own lives why do you
00:21:07.180 think this veterans affairs canada representative suggested suicide to begin with well we got a couple of
00:21:15.580 different possibilities here right either this person was working as a one-off as a dr mangala and is
00:21:23.660 just absolutely out of their mind or this is somewhere part of the brief because march next year you you
00:21:31.980 feeling a little blue will kill you that's how it's going to be it's uh there's going to be very little
00:21:37.580 barrier to entry for the maid program uh right now mental health is not included with the maid program
00:21:43.740 but from what i'm getting from the insider information that i'm receiving especially since the story has
00:21:51.180 broke this does not appear to be an isolated incident veterans affairs canada right now is parading as if it
00:21:57.820 is an isolated incident which of course we all hope for we just hope this is uh some crazy person that
00:22:04.540 was having a strange day that offered this to this veteran but i don't know if that's the truth i i hope
00:22:10.700 it's the truth but i am getting more and more notes from people more direct messages and emails suggesting
00:22:19.020 that that is not the case including just um yesterday somebody came to me and they are the belief
00:22:25.740 that they are approved for the maid program because of mental health wow you know and mark this is indeed a
00:22:32.300 key question um was this veteran of veterans affairs canada representative was it a lone wolf if you will
00:22:39.660 somebody that went off the reservation and suggested uh this terrible option or is this somehow matter of
00:22:47.500 policy i i can tell you uh uh veterans affairs canada did um issue a statement about this and it reads
00:22:55.820 quote veterans affair canada uh deeply regrets what transpired end quote and also quote appropriate
00:23:03.900 administrative action will be taken end quote but they did not discuss the nitty-gritty of what that
00:23:10.700 means what do you think it means based on your previous dealings with veterans affairs canada
00:23:18.460 well there was some other wording there that wasn't included as well some questions that haven't
00:23:22.060 been answered they haven't answered has anybody else done this um what was the reason was this a staff
00:23:27.740 meeting gone wrong so we we don't know the scope of this yet and i'm again i'm hoping and praying that
00:23:34.940 this is a one-off and that veterans affairs would never promote this but what's shocking right now
00:23:41.820 david is that in the social media realm there are lots of people that are actually promoting this that
00:23:48.620 think it's actually a good idea to offer the maid program for people that don't have any other
00:23:54.460 options and one of the super sad things about this is that the current help that is offered by
00:24:01.660 the osi clinics osis and well not osis but the osi clinics and veterans affairs canada has an
00:24:09.580 efficacy rate that ranges between 12 and 16 percent so if you're outside that 12 to 16 percent and you
00:24:17.740 don't know about any other options that are out there it is understandable that somebody out of
00:24:23.100 desperation is going to consider suicide but there are other options out there the issue is barrier
00:24:30.220 to entry to access those options that are have a far higher efficacy rate of 12 to 16 percent i've seen
00:24:37.180 numerous modalities of healing that are past 80 percent but veterans affairs canada won't touch them
00:24:43.580 with a 10 foot pole and that is the problem wow that is fascinating you know mark it's almost i mean
00:24:49.260 i've mentioned this before that you know i look at the 1973 sci-fi film soylent green which is set
00:24:55.980 in 2022 and how eerily prescient it has been on so many points such as food replacement um right now you
00:25:06.380 have people with the world economic forum suggesting we bugs soylent green is the name of a food
00:25:12.220 replacement i won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the movie it makes bugs look like uh uh t-bone
00:25:17.900 steaks and also suicide is actively encouraged uh you're bribed with uh benefits for your family
00:25:25.740 members if you decide to opt out and uh i i just can't help but think um you know how bang on that
00:25:34.780 sci-fi uh film was for our horrible reality right now but then again when it comes to veterans affairs
00:25:41.420 mark i gotta ask you we've seen with this trudeau administration how they deal with veterans um
00:25:49.420 whereas they give omar qatar our homegrown al-qaeda terrorist and murderer a 10.5 million dollar
00:25:56.380 paycheck uh the following year they told a friend of yours at edmonton that uh military veterans serving
00:26:03.580 canada are asking for too much those were prime minister trudeau's words so i i i guess when i'm
00:26:12.380 connecting the dots here if our veterans are asking for too much well what better way than to you know
00:26:19.340 turn off the whining if you will than to advocate they take an exit i find this disturbing and egregious
00:26:27.340 and outrageous what are your thoughts my friend well david let's just hope that what is happening
00:26:35.420 here is ineptitude that's the best case scenario this is just they don't know what else to offer
00:26:42.220 so they're offering assisted suicide they don't know about all the therapies that i know about that
00:26:48.380 i highlight on my show on a weekly basis um they they just don't know they don't know about it or don't
00:26:54.300 have access to it or there's some other barrier let's hope it's just ineptitude however the general
00:27:01.740 what i'm gleaning from all the response in the veteran population is that we're a little bit more
00:27:08.140 cynical we do believe that it's a budgetary decision i had a little rant on facebook saying the same thing
00:27:14.780 um i never would have said that two or three years ago no chance i would have thought there's got
00:27:20.460 to be another explanation but it could be that cold david it could be that this is in fact a budgetary
00:27:26.940 decision wrapped up as compassion that is just so disturbing for me to hear mark because we are
00:27:34.780 talking literally about life and death to people who in many cases have put their lives on the line
00:27:43.660 defending canada going into foreign battlefields and uh once their usefulness uh is over as deemed by
00:27:53.260 the federal government it's time to suggest that they take the ultimate step in checking out i mean i
00:28:00.700 can't even believe we're talking about this uh mark the soldier um in question he has not been identified
00:28:08.060 there's been some mainstream media coverage of this um have do you think this individual uh will go
00:28:17.420 public uh with his plight so that we do indeed have a name and a face behind this story well i hope so i
00:28:26.140 think that in general the story has been believed by most people which is a good thing because it's true
00:28:33.100 um that i that much i can say i can't say more than that but i can't confirm that the story is
00:28:38.540 completely true um the sources that i have are the same sources that mercedes stevenson had for global
00:28:46.700 and those sources have confirmed through us that it is absolutely true other than that i can't say i'm
00:28:54.060 going to hope that this veteran steps forward but i completely and totally understand uh given our
00:29:00.300 government's reputation and track record of being vindictive and cruel uh i could understand why
00:29:08.620 somebody would not want to have their name put forward so if this person does not put their name
00:29:13.900 forward perfectly perfectly understandable and um but i don't think we need it i think through freedom of
00:29:21.900 information act through proper investigation we can get all the questions answered that we need
00:29:27.260 and i have a sneaking suspicion david that there's going to be more people stepping forward with
00:29:32.860 similar circumstances similar stories i don't think this is a one-off well we're certainly going to
00:29:39.340 continue to follow this uh story mark and you know you're right it is a true story for once i wish this
00:29:46.620 was fake news but it's not i guess my parting question to you mark given the horrible public relations
00:29:54.860 black eye veterans affairs canada has received over this do you think that might be a catalyst in other
00:30:01.660 words reaching out to their staff and saying you know if a veteran comes you know for a consultation
00:30:10.460 maybe you might not want to whip out the suicide option right off the bat even if we do have
00:30:17.260 budgetary issues with the canadian armed forces last word goes to you my friend thanks brother so the
00:30:24.060 problem with veterans affairs canada is that they are working in a trauma-rich environment without
00:30:28.300 the proper resiliency and critical incident training so they are dealing with people like myself when
00:30:36.780 they are at their most acute when they need it the most when they need the help the most and we're not a
00:30:41.580 lot of fun to deal with so if you do not understand our language if you don't understand trauma if you
00:30:47.900 don't understand trauma response and yet you're thrown to the wolves into this job you're going to burn out
00:30:53.900 you know almost all of us uh that have been in the system as i have been are going on three four
00:30:59.820 five different case magic managers in uh in two or three years so it's a high high burnout position
00:31:07.660 now when you have a high burnout position nobody has any experience of veterans affairs canada because
00:31:12.300 they don't last long enough to get the experience so this is a failure of leadership at vac
00:31:18.060 vac veterans affairs canada what needs to happen is proper training so that they can hang on to these
00:31:23.820 employees train them better so that their interactions with the veteran community are more
00:31:29.260 positive because this is although it is the most egregious example that i can think of of an
00:31:34.940 interaction with veterans affairs it is not the only foul one and not just at vac at the osi clinic
00:31:42.460 numerous places all that are good-hearted and want to do the right thing but they don't necessarily have
00:31:50.220 the tools to do the right thing and mark before i let you go can you tell our audience about your
00:31:57.500 podcast because i got to be honest if i knew a veteran that was suffering from any kind of trauma
00:32:03.020 i would point him in your direction before uh having him go to veterans affairs canada especially
00:32:09.020 with staffers like this one uh suggesting right off the hop uh the suicide option is the right one so
00:32:15.580 please what do you do with your podcast operation tango romeo is the trauma recovery podcast for
00:32:23.500 veterans first responders and their families we are an aggregate for healing modality so i go around the
00:32:31.420 world david and i find what works what doesn't and i get the facilitators the people with the lived
00:32:37.820 experience to come on the show and we talk about what works and we also have peer support type of
00:32:45.420 tools and i hate to call them tricks but tools for the toolbox that help people move forward with their
00:32:51.740 life uh episode number six so many ago i still get uh notes from people saying hey that episode on how
00:32:59.820 not to wreck wreck your camping trip has actually changed my life and it's changed my family's life thank you
00:33:04.860 very much and when you hear a voice that you recognize and somebody that you know is walk the
00:33:12.540 walk not some sterile clinician uh talking in uh in baby talk to you then you have a bit more confidence
00:33:20.540 that the information that you're being exposed to just might be helpful somebody that's actually
00:33:25.500 walked the walk themselves i was diagnosed with ptsd in 2017 i got into peer support groups which create
00:33:31.900 a sense of connection and awareness and from those peer support groups this podcast has grown evolved
00:33:39.900 and today we're in 68 different countries 200 and i don't even know 236 episodes i think and thousands
00:33:47.580 and thousands of veterans have messaged me saying thank you this helped well thank goodness for that
00:33:53.340 mark i know you do excellent work with your podcast and i wish the same could be said about how
00:34:00.540 veterans affairs canada operates so thank you again for your time and we'll keep an eye on this file too
00:34:07.660 mark and see if it warrants a follow-up in the days and weeks ahead thank you sir thank you david
00:34:21.740 well folks last night my colleague sheila gun reed was guest hosting for the ezreal event show and she
00:34:30.860 had a wonderful interview with our new york-based correspondent that would be jeremy lafredo who ventured
00:34:38.140 down to pennsylvania to speak to amish farmers who are being harassed by the government lots of response on that
00:34:48.300 keith 007 writes the average american is both over fed and malnourished and the government is attacking
00:34:57.020 the amish so amish steak and cheese that's the problem not taco bell doritos and big gulp slushies
00:35:06.060 insane well 007 don't give the government any ideas they've already talked about taxing and regulating
00:35:13.740 junk food but i get your point leave the amish alone they just want to live their lives they the
00:35:19.980 way they want to they're not harming anyone this is a so-called problem in need of repair when no problem
00:35:30.460 exists and no repair is warranted c130 avi8 trx writes sounds like in australia where they are trying
00:35:40.300 to make it illegal to share any meat you've hunted with even family or friends plus making it illegal
00:35:48.700 to grow your own veggies they really want us all to submit or dry well you know what my friend i didn't
00:35:55.180 know that was the situation us in australia that is outrageous they don't want you to share hunted um
00:36:03.340 meat they don't want you to grow your own vegetables and yet these are probably let me guess the
00:36:09.980 same people that want you to chow down on cricket sandwiches and mealworms no thanks well i can tell
00:36:18.380 you this what the government's going to find out in terms of bullying the amish is that when you mess
00:36:24.380 with the farming community that is a losing fight they are not going to come out of this as the winner you
00:36:31.260 mark my words folks well that wraps up the ezreal event show uh for this friday thank you so much for
00:36:37.740 tuning in i hope you all have a great weekend the big boss man he'll be back here on monday and in
00:36:44.780 the meantime as always stay sane have you many for rebel news at the shrine of remembrance here in melbourne
00:36:51.660 on vietnam veterans day
00:37:01.740 velderly vietnam veterans lined up in the hundreds ready to march at 11am sharp per the schedule but
00:37:09.260 as the air force band prepared to lead the australian heroes a regimental sergeant major approached the band
00:37:15.980 sergeant major ordering the band to stand down as daniel andrews hadn't arrived leaving hundreds of
00:37:22.860 veterans standing waiting in the cold because the premier his highness was running late about five
00:37:30.380 minutes later the sacred event finally kicked off following the grand entrance of victoria's arrogant
00:37:37.180 premier leaving some veterans dumped roughly a three-hour trip i left home about five this morning
00:37:49.180 so you made it on time i made it on time so where does daniel andrews come from five minutes down the
00:37:55.900 road yeah do you think that that's respectful to those who have come out here today oh probably not me
00:38:03.820 that's not good enough we've been here quite a lot earlier this morning to make sure that we were on
00:38:09.740 time okay he's got a job to do uh we've all got a job to do many australians would think would
00:38:15.580 victorians would agree you've sacrificed a lot more than daniel andrews and i would say it's fair to say
00:38:22.460 that a lot of us are still in that situation a lot of what happened a very long time ago stays with us
00:38:31.020 and it it will never go away i think we went there for the right cause for what we believe in and
00:38:36.860 help the young south vietnamese out which are really good people they are really good people
00:38:43.660 and today i saw the march was delayed about five minutes do you know what no daniel andrews was
00:38:50.940 running late how do you feel normal for those who don't know this is actually acknowledging
00:38:56.620 um six rars battle at the bottle of battle of long tan so we pay our respects to them i just remember
00:39:05.420 that there was 500 people killed on in a little battle um 50 years ago i suppose it was politically
00:39:14.300 big at the time but now it's just a bit of history i look upon this way i'm down here to be with my
00:39:21.020 friends guys that i serve with so out of my respect for them and the other guys that serve and the
00:39:27.020 people that turn to put this show on yeah you turn up on time it's never too late to learn a little bit
00:39:33.340 of respect for anybody not just us but for anybody there you go daniel andrews front and center
00:39:40.460 uh the memorial can continue difficult to talk about and uh i just want to get here remember
00:39:50.860 me mates who didn't come back and a few of them how you doing how you going you all right
00:39:57.980 mate have respect you're at the shrine yeah i respect that so you probably shouldn't act like
00:40:03.180 that i get you don't like me what don't you like about me you know hate i still hate yeah i still
00:40:12.620 i still hate you're standing here sticking your finger up with people oh all right maybe
00:40:19.020 do you want to talk about it a bit why you're here why wouldn't i be here i i like our heroes i
00:40:25.180 support our heroes they fought for your freedom do you like freedom you don't know the meaning of
00:40:31.260 can you educate me right i find fans everywhere you'd be 52 52 years still mates of course i don't have
00:40:40.860 a mate from 10 years ago no one likes me after i'm sure i'm sure somebody in the israeli army that
00:40:47.900 that has fond memories of my of my banter and i a friend of mine when he was very young his parents
00:40:57.340 sent him to israel on a kibbutz and his his mother actually i could say she was uh possessed the tattoo
00:41:07.340 on the wrist which we all know what that meant and but they were lovely people but they once again
00:41:13.980 having even though they he was born and brought up in australia they felt that it was important for
00:41:19.900 him to recognize yes and and i respect that
