00:00:00.160 Hello, my friends. Today, I talk about Israel closing in on the final headquarters of Hamas in the Gaza town called Rafi.
00:00:10.000 And strangely, Joe Biden and Melanie Jolie don't want Israel to finish the job.
00:00:15.440 It would be like telling the Red Army not to take Berlin in 1945. Why?
00:00:20.060 I'll take you through it and show you an exciting video of two hostages being rescued last night.

00:00:56.540 All right, here's today's podcast.
00:01:14.320 Tonight, Israel closes in on the final Hamas stronghold in Gaza.
00:01:19.320 So naturally, Trudeau and Biden want Israel to stop.
00:01:22.880 It's February 12th, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:01:25.440 We're ready for freedom!
00:01:28.420 Shame on you, you censorious bug!
00:01:31.760 Some hopeful news last night.
00:01:42.820 Two Israeli hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza were freed by Israeli special forces.
00:01:49.560 Fernando Simon Marnon, saying his name, right?
00:01:54.520 And Norberto Luis Haar were rescued.
00:01:58.000 Here, watch as their family greets them at a hospital back in Israel where they were brought after they were rescued.
00:02:03.760 The erich is called Walesa.
00:02:06.560 Let me gather this hand.
00:02:08.640 Thank you, folks.
00:02:09.880 Good morning, everyone.
00:02:31.060 Bye, bye, bye.
00:02:31.640 Those two men were amongst the 200-plus hostages
00:02:59.420 that Hamas took when they invaded southern Israel
00:03:02.160 on October 7th of last year.
00:03:04.760 They murdered more than 1,200 Israelis,
00:03:06.960 but their real prize was taking hostages back to Gaza.
00:03:11.560 Many of them were young women who were at an outdoor concert
00:03:15.180 not far from Gaza when they were grabbed.
00:03:18.840 Many of them were raped and murdered,
00:03:20.480 but some were kept alive as bargaining chips
00:03:23.020 to get convicted Hamas terrorists released from Israeli jails
00:03:26.640 and obviously as human shields to stop Israel from striking back.
00:03:31.460 Here's a video of Hamas terrorists filmed by the terrorists themselves
00:03:35.200 as they kidnapped literally three generations from the same family,
00:03:39.540 including babies less than a year old.
00:03:42.160 Just watch this to remember who Hamas is and how this war started.
00:03:46.240 They didn't hide it.
00:03:47.500 They boasted about it online.
00:03:49.680 They live-streamed it.
00:03:51.280 Remember this?
00:03:51.820 You get rid of them.
00:04:00.960 You get rid of themì•„ p silences.
00:04:05.320 You get rid of them.
00:04:10.640 You look for a once in a while.
00:04:12.220 You get rid of them them.
00:04:20.420 I've seen some reports that those particular babies have been killed,
00:04:34.000 but it might be Hamash propaganda or psychological warfare.
00:04:37.780 By the way, Canadian citizens were amongst the hostages,
00:04:40.500 as well as many American citizens, too.
00:04:43.220 They were kidnapped or killed.
00:04:45.600 Arab Israelis were kidnapped and killed, too, by the way,
00:04:48.040 as well as foreign nationals who were neither Israeli nor Jewish nor Arab.
00:04:52.980 Hamas really are like the Nazis,
00:04:54.880 and that's something I think they would proudly say about themselves.
00:04:58.660 You know, here's a copy of Mein Kampf translated into Arabic
00:05:01.680 that soldiers found in one children's bedroom in Gaza.
00:05:05.040 You might find it hard to believe that people with a Nazi mentality could exist in 2024,
00:05:12.100 and I understand where you would be coming from.
00:05:14.140 Some things are so awful the mind doesn't want to accept them.
00:05:17.120 So we come up with alternative explanations.
00:05:19.620 I think I've told you this story before.
00:05:20.900 I remember a few years ago when I interviewed a woman
00:05:23.460 who was taken as a rape slave by Islamic State terrorists.
00:05:29.880 She was, when I met her, she was a refugee in Germany who had escaped from Iraq,
00:05:35.100 but then she had to escape from the German Refugee Settlement Center
00:05:38.100 because that was dominated by Islamic gangs,
00:05:41.040 so she fled to a church in Germany, if you can believe it.
00:05:43.840 Anyways, I remember how she described that she was raped so many times by Islamic terrorists
00:05:48.860 that she had lost count after 240 times,
00:05:52.340 and I remember my reaction.
00:05:53.500 I was so horrified by her story.
00:05:55.400 My instinct in my mind, I mean, I didn't say it out loud, of course,
00:05:58.620 my instinct that she must have been lying.
00:06:00.880 She must have some sort of angle or reason to say such outrageous things
00:06:04.740 because that's impossible that something so horrific could be done by people.
00:06:09.020 But no, that's how horrific the world can be.
00:06:12.860 The Islamic State didn't usually live stream their rapes and murders and torture.
00:06:16.560 I don't know if the technology was around back then, but Hamas did.
00:06:19.980 I say again, the Nazis actually hid the worst of their Holocaust when they were doing it,
00:06:26.040 not just from the outside world, but even from their own people.
00:06:28.500 There was enough inherent goodness, inherent Christianity, inherent civilization in the German people
00:06:33.540 that had they known the depths of depravity at Auschwitz,
00:06:37.120 they likely would have rebelled.
00:06:38.720 Not so, Hamas, which advertised its brutality as a selling point.
00:06:44.020 And Hamas' supporters in the West love it.
00:06:46.500 Look at this woman.
00:06:48.520 I'm not sure what Western city she's in, probably London, I guess, maybe New York,
00:06:53.140 but it's in English, and she's saying,
00:06:55.980 you don't get to choose how we resist, and it's dripping in blood, her sign,
00:06:59.500 which means she agrees with Hamas' tactics.
00:07:03.200 And indeed, it's not just a Nazi or Islamic extremist ideology
00:07:06.020 that allows and even celebrates rape and murder and torture and kidnapping babies,
00:07:10.880 but it's the woke Western ideology that we teach our own kids at university
00:07:14.880 that teaches that anyone who is white or Western or male or Christian
00:07:18.420 is by definition an oppressor,
00:07:20.680 and everyone else is welcome to do literally anything
00:07:23.220 to that first group in the name of resistance.
00:07:26.880 It's really stunning.
00:07:27.880 But back to Gaza, Israel has moved its way through the Gaza Strip
00:07:31.340 and is now at Rafa, the town that borders with Egypt, if you know the map.
00:07:36.520 By the way, this is the wall between Egypt and Gaza,
00:07:40.100 a more serious, more impenetrable wall than Israel had.
00:07:44.220 Egypt, of course, like every Arab country, refuses to take any refugees from Gaza.
00:07:48.340 They know all about Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:07:51.320 which is an international Islamist group that supports jihad, including Hamas.
00:07:55.700 You might remember Egypt itself briefly had a coup,
00:07:59.080 and the Muslim Brotherhood took over Egypt.
00:08:02.320 And, you know, Hillary Clinton and the Democrats were all in favor of it.
00:08:06.520 They literally met with and normalized a terrorist government.
00:08:09.320 Thankfully, the Egyptian people and their military rose up and threw them out.
00:08:13.820 Egypt is taking no chances again.
00:08:15.360 They're not crazy.
00:08:16.040 They're not going to take Hamas refugees.
00:08:17.360 So, Israel has methodically worked its way through Gaza,
00:08:20.540 starting from the eastern side, which borders Israel.
00:08:23.720 They have slowly made their way through it and are now near that border with Egypt.
00:08:27.740 It's too grand a comparison, but it's like the Red Army closing in on Berlin in 1945.
00:08:32.720 There was a time when the Nazis were deep into Russia.
00:08:36.000 At least 20 million Russian civilians were killed, by the way.
00:08:38.920 And so the Red Army was racing to Berlin as the Americans, the Brits, the Canadians
00:08:42.380 were coming in from Western Europe.
00:08:44.360 Imagine Russia after suffering more casualties than any other country in the war,
00:08:49.860 after an entire generation of Russian men had been ground up in the war.
00:08:53.860 Imagine telling General Zhukov of the Red Army,
00:08:57.840 you've got to stop at the outskirts of Berlin.
00:09:00.180 Don't enter the city and definitely don't go to Hitler's bunker.
00:09:03.200 No, it's time for a ceasefire.
00:09:05.180 Negotiate with the remnants of the Nazis.
00:09:07.740 And by the way, Hitler wasn't holed up in his bunker
00:09:10.960 with a hundred Russian women and children as human shields.
00:09:13.680 Including for the obvious reason that Stalin wouldn't have hesitated for a second
00:09:17.440 to kill hostages if they were in his wake.
00:09:20.020 At Stalingrad, Stalin's officers shot any Red Army conscript to abandon his post.
00:09:25.000 So the idea of asking the Russians not to take Berlin
00:09:27.420 and not to kill or capture Hitler
00:09:29.600 and not to utterly dismantle the Nazi party and all of its power
00:09:33.020 is too weird to even contemplate.
00:09:34.860 Imagine in 1945, arguing that the Nazi government should be able to live on
00:09:38.360 and that Hitler should be allowed to remain
00:09:40.240 as long as he makes promises, pinky swear, not to invade Russia anymore.
00:09:45.060 If that were a movie script, no one would make it.
00:09:47.360 It's just too implausible.
00:09:48.760 It's crazy.
00:09:49.280 But that's exactly what Western leftists are saying.
00:09:51.740 Here's Melanie Jolie.
00:09:53.080 And I only mention her because we're Canadian
00:09:54.660 and she is our foreign minister, at least in name.
00:09:56.700 I truly don't think anyone in the entire world cares
00:10:00.240 what Melanie Jolie has to say,
00:10:02.120 other than, of course, Hamas,
00:10:04.000 which literally made a thank you video for Canada
00:10:06.580 after Trudeau voted against Israel at the UN.
00:10:09.820 But I don't think there's a single serious diplomat
00:10:12.240 or general or politician in the Western world
00:10:15.120 who asks, what would Melanie Jolie say?
00:10:17.580 Or even in the Arab world for that matter.
00:10:19.680 But here's what she said just three days ago,
00:10:22.080 two days before these hostages were freed.
00:10:24.140 We are deeply concerned by reports
00:10:26.120 of an Israeli military operation in Rafa.
00:10:28.380 It would have devastating impact
00:10:29.720 put in the lives of Palestinians and foreign nationals,
00:10:32.340 including Canadians, seeking refuge in grave danger
00:10:34.860 and making the vital delivery of humanitarian aid dangerous.
00:10:38.940 And she continued,
00:10:39.760 we continue our call for the protection of civilians,
00:10:42.360 for the release of hostages,
00:10:43.500 for urgent efforts towards a sustainable ceasefire
00:10:45.480 and for increased humanitarian aid.
00:10:47.600 Isn't that odd?
00:10:48.800 Jolie really, really doesn't want Israel to take Rafa.
00:10:51.620 Why?
00:10:51.860 I'm sure she is concerned about civilians.
00:10:54.960 Of course she is.
00:10:56.760 There were civilians in Berlin too, by the way,
00:10:58.900 and in Hiroshima and in Nagasaki.
00:11:02.180 Israel's fighting the war in a more careful manner
00:11:04.120 than perhaps any other war in history.
00:11:06.560 It's not dropping a bomb over Gaza
00:11:08.600 the way the Yanks did in Japan.
00:11:11.500 But the thing about Hamas is they know the rules
00:11:12.980 are different for Israel than for Stalin's Red Army
00:11:15.300 or even Eisenhower's American Army
00:11:17.440 or even Western armies of today.
00:11:19.400 I mean, Obama attacked ISIS troops in a hospital in Mosul, Iraq.
00:11:25.380 It made the news for a day.
00:11:27.860 And that's it.
00:11:28.320 People know that terrorists hide amongst civilians.
00:11:30.640 Western armies try to be careful.
00:11:32.280 Of course they do.
00:11:33.320 But the thing about war is that it's warlike.
00:11:35.080 It's not peaceful.
00:11:35.740 If ISIS hadn't surrendered,
00:11:37.180 the attack on the hospital wouldn't have been necessary.
00:11:39.420 Here's Joe Biden leaking to the Washington Post
00:11:42.500 in a similar vein to Melanie Schottly.
00:11:44.740 Biden presses Netanyahu on plans for hostage release,
00:11:48.020 protecting civilians in Rafa.
00:11:50.100 How civilians would be spared from an Israeli offensive
00:11:52.220 in the southernmost city in Gaza remains a huge question,
00:11:55.260 a senior administration official said.
00:11:58.280 I think it's a huge question,
00:12:00.180 and I can think of some answers to it.
00:12:02.240 Hamas surrenders.
00:12:02.980 That would end the war immediately.
00:12:04.760 That's what Japan did after the nukes.
00:12:07.160 That's what Nazi Germany did after Hitler killed himself.
00:12:10.280 I suppose the other alternative is the one that's happening.
00:12:12.120 Israel is going in as carefully as any modern army can.
00:12:16.480 It's faced with terrorists,
00:12:17.560 and they've spent nearly 20 years, the terrorists have,
00:12:21.220 planning for this attack by strategically placing
00:12:23.180 their bases underneath hospitals and schools.
00:12:27.320 It's been known for more than a decade
00:12:29.060 that Hamas has its central command post
00:12:31.820 under the big al-Shifa hospital in Gaza.
00:12:34.400 I mean, it makes sense if your goal is to stop
00:12:36.180 any civilized country from attacking your terrorist headquarters,
00:12:38.900 but it's obviously insane if you believe in protecting
00:12:41.860 innocent human life,
00:12:43.220 and don't tell me that you can literally have
00:12:45.360 the Hamas headquarters under a hospital
00:12:47.520 and that the hospital staff and administration
00:12:49.400 and donors didn't know.
00:12:51.820 Of course, they knew.
00:12:53.960 Here's a video from the al-Shifa hospital
00:12:55.560 showing there was actually the first stop
00:12:57.640 for the terrorists
00:12:58.380 when they had finished taking their hostages.
00:13:01.020 It's their place.
00:13:02.320 It's their hangout.
00:13:03.880 Imagine what they'll find in Raqqa.
00:13:06.000 Besides, of course, the Hamas leadership
00:13:07.480 and hopefully surviving hostages,
00:13:09.200 but here's a hint.
00:13:10.340 You know that the UN has a massive permanent agency
00:13:12.880 that runs Gaza.
00:13:14.440 It's called UNRWA,
00:13:16.180 which stands for UN Relief and Works Agency.
00:13:20.680 If Hamas is the terrorist government of Gaza,
00:13:24.460 UNRWA is basically the civil service of Gaza,
00:13:27.520 and, of course, the civil service reports to the government,
00:13:29.980 and so it is in Gaza.
00:13:32.120 By the way, UNRWA is so linked to the Hamas terrorists
00:13:34.940 that Stephen Arbor and other Western leaders
00:13:37.120 cut it off a decade ago, stopped giving aid.
00:13:41.520 But Trudeau, when he became PM again,
00:13:43.580 pumped $50 million back into it.
00:13:46.600 And just a couple of months ago,
00:13:47.680 Trudeau pumped another $50 million into UNRWA.
00:13:50.960 But UNRWA is hand-in-glove with Hamas.
00:13:53.320 I'll say UN now instead of UNRWA
00:13:55.120 because it's more pronounceable,
00:13:56.540 the UN and Hamas share the same staff.
00:14:00.540 UN staff literally participated
00:14:02.120 in the October 7th terrorist attack.
00:14:05.100 UN chat groups, like online chatter groups,
00:14:07.760 with thousands of UN staff in Gaza,
00:14:10.340 they celebrated the terrorist attacks on Israel.
00:14:12.860 UN is Hamas.
00:14:13.840 Hamas is the UN in Gaza.
00:14:15.840 And let me end with the craziest story of all.
00:14:17.400 The UN headquarters itself in Gaza.
00:14:21.220 Underneath that, in the basement,
00:14:23.380 a Hamas base.
00:14:26.000 Here's what Israeli soldiers found
00:14:27.440 when they came to the UN headquarters
00:14:28.900 a couple of days ago.
00:14:31.220 The UN office was upstairs.
00:14:33.900 Hamas was downstairs,
00:14:34.800 plugged into the UN systems,
00:14:36.680 their power system, their computer system.
00:14:38.880 It was in the same building.
00:14:39.900 They shared the office.
00:14:40.860 The UN itself was co-located with Hamas.
00:14:43.380 They shared a mailing address.
00:14:46.360 Did you see that tunnel they built?
00:14:48.220 Here's what the head of the UN in Gaza said.
00:14:50.920 Anruwa did not know
00:14:53.400 what is under its headquarters in Gaza.
00:14:55.680 Anruwa is made aware of reports
00:14:57.840 through the media regarding a tunnel
00:14:59.380 under the Anruwa headquarters in Gaza.
00:15:01.800 Sure, you didn't know.
00:15:03.140 You didn't know until journalists reported it.
00:15:05.680 You had no idea
00:15:06.600 those guys going downstairs with guns were,
00:15:09.540 with hostages were.
00:15:10.980 Did you see that tunnel?
00:15:12.440 That's a year-long infrastructure project
00:15:14.440 with heavy equipment and cement.
00:15:16.240 Imagine saying you didn't know.
00:15:17.640 Or that Hamas,
00:15:18.920 oh, they just did that in the last week.
00:15:20.820 So I ask again,
00:15:21.620 why does Melanie Jolie want Israel
00:15:23.020 not to finish the job?
00:15:25.420 I mean, Israel's already taken 90% or so of Gaza.
00:15:29.620 Wouldn't taking Rafa end the war?
00:15:32.000 And isn't that the best outcome,
00:15:33.300 just to end the war?
00:15:36.020 Maybe Melanie Jolie doesn't actually want
00:15:37.980 Hamas' leadership to be captured or killed.
00:15:40.140 I mean, she spent $100 million
00:15:42.480 in Canadian tax money.
00:15:45.800 Maybe she doesn't want Hamas to lose.
00:15:50.160 And just maybe,
00:15:51.280 maybe there will be some things found in Rafa,
00:15:54.420 like were found under the UN headquarters,
00:15:56.380 like were found under the Al-Shifa hospital,
00:15:58.260 that show that Trudeau and Jolie
00:15:59.960 and the rest of the liberal Hamas caucus
00:16:01.600 knew a lot more about what was going on
00:16:03.860 than they let on.
00:16:05.500 I mean, Israel is finding many unusual things
00:16:08.000 now that they're on the ground here.
00:16:09.180 Let me quote one report here.
00:16:11.100 The IDF, that's the Israel Defense Forces,
00:16:12.840 say it located intelligence
00:16:14.540 that Al-Jazeera reporter Mohamed Wisha
00:16:17.140 moonlights as a commander
00:16:18.620 in Hamas' anti-armor unit.
00:16:20.740 At the end of last year,
00:16:21.620 he moved to the R&D division
00:16:23.120 of Hamas' air unit.
00:16:24.420 Surprise, not surprise.
00:16:25.440 So that's a laptop that they found
00:16:27.400 of an Al-Jazeera journalist
00:16:28.720 showing he's actually a Hamas terrorist too.
00:16:32.500 I wonder if any of the CBC sources
00:16:34.300 were Hamas terrorists too.
00:16:37.060 I wonder if any Canadian staff
00:16:38.960 were terrorists too.
00:16:40.400 I wonder if Jolie is worried
00:16:41.560 about other records,
00:16:43.180 a list of Hamas terrorists,
00:16:44.480 membership lists,
00:16:44.980 because Mark Miller,
00:16:46.400 the liberal immigration minister,
00:16:47.620 he has said he wants Canada
00:16:48.740 to take literally thousands
00:16:50.260 of Gaza refugees,
00:16:51.420 and he's frustrated
00:16:52.380 that it hasn't happened already.
00:16:54.240 He's very impatient.
00:16:56.100 That's what he said.
00:16:56.780 Here's a clip.
00:16:57.140 I wanted to follow up
00:16:58.100 on your comments
00:16:58.600 in the House yesterday
00:16:59.400 about the Rafa border
00:17:00.880 and your frustrations
00:17:01.960 with sort of getting
00:17:03.060 family members out.
00:17:05.080 Can you give me a sense
00:17:05.760 of how many people
00:17:07.360 have been pre-approved so far
00:17:08.460 and what the challenges are?
00:17:09.740 We have an initial list.
00:17:11.300 Local authorities need
00:17:12.360 to help us get people
00:17:13.320 through the Rafa border crossing.
00:17:14.540 Canada doesn't control that.
00:17:16.220 And I'm pretty pissed off about it.
00:17:18.740 You know,
00:17:18.940 we've made a pretty broad program
00:17:21.380 for people that have relatives
00:17:23.280 in Canada.
00:17:24.720 It is unique,
00:17:25.580 so perhaps there is
00:17:28.120 some trepidation
00:17:29.620 by people on the ground
00:17:31.280 as to let these folks out,
00:17:32.960 but it's a humanitarian gesture
00:17:34.100 and it's immensely frustrating for me.
00:17:36.760 I still think we have,
00:17:39.460 before I speak more publicly on it,
00:17:41.900 I think we still have
00:17:43.160 some diplomatic work to do.
00:17:44.640 Now, opinion polls show
00:17:45.980 that 75% or more
00:17:47.520 of Gazans support Hamas.
00:17:49.440 Every hospital, many schools,
00:17:51.020 many mosques are Hamas bases.
00:17:53.340 The UN's schools
00:17:54.640 teach anti-Semitism
00:17:55.860 and teach hating Israel.
00:17:57.120 The whole place
00:17:57.920 is a terrorism incubator.
00:18:00.280 And Trudeau has been
00:18:00.900 sending in millions of dollars
00:18:02.480 and wants to bring
00:18:03.140 thousands of them over here.
00:18:06.420 Ending the war
00:18:07.060 by defeating Hamas
00:18:08.140 would stop a lot
00:18:09.000 of Trudeau's plans,
00:18:10.000 wouldn't it?
00:18:11.140 But it would also save
00:18:12.200 a lot of lives,
00:18:12.980 Israeli lives,
00:18:13.700 Arab lives,
00:18:14.640 possibly even
00:18:16.160 Canadian lives, too.
00:18:18.400 Stay with us for more.
00:18:31.180 You know,
00:18:31.700 of course,
00:18:32.160 war is terrible,
00:18:33.240 obviously.
00:18:34.220 Of course,
00:18:34.820 casualties,
00:18:36.000 not just from soldiers,
00:18:37.120 but civilians,
00:18:37.740 are one of the worst parts
00:18:38.900 of the war
00:18:39.300 that's happened
00:18:40.160 in Russia,
00:18:40.720 Ukraine.
00:18:41.240 It's happened
00:18:41.580 in every war
00:18:42.120 in history.
00:18:44.740 Telling Israel
00:18:45.700 not to take
00:18:46.760 out the Hamas leadership
00:18:47.620 would be like telling
00:18:48.380 the Red Army
00:18:49.520 in 1945
00:18:50.260 not to take Berlin.
00:18:53.220 The obvious question
00:18:54.160 is why?
00:18:55.540 Why would you stop
00:18:56.700 the Allies
00:18:57.920 from taking Berlin
00:18:58.760 and taking out it?
00:19:01.420 Instead of the guest segment,
00:19:02.500 I want to show you
00:19:03.000 something that I did
00:19:03.720 last week.
00:19:04.360 I was invited
00:19:04.820 on Infowars,
00:19:06.000 which is a really
00:19:06.780 big audience,
00:19:07.520 and some people say,
00:19:08.200 oh, Alex Jones
00:19:08.680 is too controversial.
00:19:09.820 I find him a very
00:19:10.800 engaging
00:19:11.880 and entertaining
00:19:12.760 interlocutor.
00:19:14.100 I think he
00:19:15.180 reads the news
00:19:16.300 obsessively.
00:19:17.380 He's got a sense
00:19:17.920 of humor,
00:19:18.400 and like all of us,
00:19:19.220 he's had his flourishes
00:19:20.140 from now and then.
00:19:21.100 But I like going on a show,
00:19:22.160 and I'm obviously
00:19:22.580 in control of what I say,
00:19:24.300 and I express myself,
00:19:25.420 and I had a good visit
00:19:26.620 with him the other day.
00:19:27.240 I want to show you.
00:19:28.700 He has me on
00:19:29.480 from time now
00:19:29.920 because he wants
00:19:30.400 to know about Canada.
00:19:31.740 He wants to know
00:19:32.280 the truth about Trudeau
00:19:33.340 and other crazy
00:19:34.560 trends up here.
00:19:35.820 So let me propose
00:19:37.640 to share with you
00:19:38.520 some edited excerpts
00:19:40.560 of my recent sit-down
00:19:41.800 with Alex Jones.
00:19:43.320 I'll leave you with those.
00:19:45.000 Until next time,
00:19:46.140 on behalf of all of us
00:19:47.020 here at Rebel World
00:19:47.680 Headquarters,
00:19:48.180 to you at home,
00:19:48.720 good night,
00:19:49.920 and keep fighting
00:19:50.480 for freedom.
00:19:54.000 So Ezra LeVant
00:19:54.980 heads up Rebel Media,
00:19:56.160 one of the best media
00:19:56.940 organizations,
00:19:57.660 is pro-human,
00:19:58.280 pro-truth,
00:19:59.000 in the world,
00:19:59.780 rebelnews.com,
00:20:00.800 at Ezra LeVant,
00:20:01.900 on X.
00:20:03.340 We're going to cover
00:20:04.180 the waterfront here
00:20:05.240 with him.
00:20:05.560 I've been trying
00:20:05.840 to get him on for weeks
00:20:06.620 since he did a great job
00:20:08.220 there from Switzerland
00:20:09.840 at the Davos operation,
00:20:12.060 knocked out of the park
00:20:12.700 again with his crew
00:20:14.480 because we had
00:20:16.200 some big victories
00:20:16.860 in Canada,
00:20:18.020 at least for now,
00:20:19.180 backing off the state,
00:20:21.020 killing mentally ill people
00:20:22.340 that they're wards of.
00:20:24.340 And we've also got
00:20:25.260 new clips of Trudeau
00:20:26.200 saying Canada's not great.
00:20:27.960 How dare you say that?
00:20:29.240 That almost tops his,
00:20:30.460 he admires Xi Jinping
00:20:31.400 above anything else
00:20:32.460 because he has
00:20:33.220 a basic dictatorship.
00:20:35.120 We've also got
00:20:36.160 the media meltdown
00:20:37.860 over Tucker and Russia,
00:20:38.940 Israel and Gaza,
00:20:39.840 Canada petition
00:20:40.420 to get out of the UN,
00:20:41.840 WHO,
00:20:42.660 open borders,
00:20:44.040 ongoing transgender
00:20:44.760 insanity in Canada.
00:20:45.660 We're going to cover
00:20:46.240 it all.
00:20:47.320 Ezra LeVant,
00:20:48.260 you're the quarterback
00:20:49.680 this hour and the coach.
00:20:51.240 What do you want
00:20:51.880 to jump into first?
00:20:54.040 Yeah,
00:20:54.400 I want to tell you,
00:20:55.500 I think the most important
00:20:56.800 piece of news
00:20:57.560 in Canada
00:20:58.300 in 2024
00:20:59.420 was a shocking,
00:21:01.540 shocking in a good way,
00:21:03.400 court decision
00:21:04.060 by our federal
00:21:04.980 court of Canada.
00:21:05.740 It ruled
00:21:06.800 that when Justin Trudeau
00:21:08.680 invoked martial law
00:21:09.960 two years ago
00:21:11.000 in response
00:21:11.940 to the peaceful truckers,
00:21:13.560 when he seized
00:21:14.780 bank accounts,
00:21:16.120 when he deployed
00:21:16.880 riot horses
00:21:17.960 against peaceful protesters,
00:21:20.040 that was illegal,
00:21:22.580 unconstitutional,
00:21:24.040 unreasonable,
00:21:25.240 unjustified.
00:21:26.000 Those were all words
00:21:26.760 from the ruling.
00:21:28.120 And further on,
00:21:30.220 he said the way
00:21:31.040 it was implemented
00:21:32.260 was against
00:21:33.140 our Constitution,
00:21:34.460 the seizing
00:21:35.000 of bank accounts.
00:21:35.660 Here's an example.
00:21:37.300 As you know,
00:21:37.980 a lot of households
00:21:38.760 have a joint bank account
00:21:40.060 between mom and dad.
00:21:41.580 So if dad was protesting,
00:21:43.540 they would seize
00:21:44.220 the family bank account
00:21:45.480 so mom couldn't buy
00:21:46.700 groceries or medicine
00:21:48.440 or pay for school.
00:21:49.920 So it wasn't just
00:21:51.380 that the invocation
00:21:52.760 of martial law
00:21:53.760 was illegal.
00:21:54.840 The judge said
00:21:55.680 the way it was
00:21:57.220 implemented
00:21:58.060 was illegal too.
00:21:59.680 This was such a
00:22:00.740 breath of fresh air.
00:22:02.280 This was so encouraging.
00:22:03.820 As the kids say,
00:22:04.840 it was a white pill moment.
00:22:07.160 And it's done
00:22:07.600 one more thing, Alex.
00:22:08.700 Not only has it
00:22:09.660 vindicated
00:22:10.700 all the truckers
00:22:12.140 and put the blame
00:22:13.960 around Trudeau's neck,
00:22:15.400 but it has now
00:22:16.440 fired the starter pistol
00:22:17.980 for hundreds of Canadians
00:22:19.920 who were debanked
00:22:21.860 to sue the government.
00:22:23.600 because the pretext
00:22:25.360 of having their
00:22:26.200 bank account seized
00:22:27.040 was just declared
00:22:29.140 unlawful.
00:22:30.320 The only people
00:22:31.900 breaking the law
00:22:32.880 during that trucker protest
00:22:34.160 other than some
00:22:34.940 parking tickets
00:22:35.920 was Trudeau himself.
00:22:38.020 Last point,
00:22:39.400 the week that this
00:22:40.500 federal court ruling
00:22:41.480 came out,
00:22:42.600 the justice minister
00:22:44.260 under Trudeau
00:22:45.220 who had implemented
00:22:46.040 the martial law,
00:22:47.020 he abruptly announced
00:22:48.240 he was quitting
00:22:49.100 parliament and retiring.
00:22:50.360 But we caught him
00:22:51.900 deleting his Twitter account,
00:22:53.420 which has all of his
00:22:54.600 public statements
00:22:55.360 and his private
00:22:56.280 direct messages.
00:22:57.260 So we've gone to court
00:22:58.520 to freeze his Twitter account.
00:23:00.900 I think he's trying
00:23:01.980 to delete his tracks
00:23:04.180 now that hundreds
00:23:05.500 of Canadians
00:23:06.160 are going to sue him
00:23:07.260 over that false
00:23:08.940 invocation of martial law.
00:23:10.640 So listen,
00:23:11.060 the world is in jeopardy, Alex.
00:23:13.560 There's bad news everywhere.
00:23:14.860 But every once in a while
00:23:16.300 when you get a win like this,
00:23:17.980 especially from a court
00:23:19.580 that you had sort of
00:23:20.520 written off,
00:23:21.760 it's worth taking
00:23:22.660 a moment to celebrate.
00:23:24.200 By the way,
00:23:24.440 I'm kicking myself
00:23:25.200 for not raising that
00:23:26.300 when I wanted you on
00:23:26.960 a few weeks ago
00:23:27.640 and I understand
00:23:28.340 you were busy.
00:23:29.020 I wanted you on
00:23:30.000 about that ruling
00:23:30.980 and that was the reason
00:23:32.660 I wanted you on.
00:23:33.580 Now all this other stuff
00:23:34.300 has happened.
00:23:34.740 But again,
00:23:35.400 I want to say this again.
00:23:37.040 The WF, the UN,
00:23:38.620 all of them have said
00:23:39.360 Canada is their main model.
00:23:42.080 Klaus Schwab has said
00:23:42.880 Trudeau is who he's most
00:23:44.380 proud of as the model.
00:23:46.520 We played that clip
00:23:47.140 many times.
00:23:47.580 I'm not going to play it again,
00:23:48.440 but it's on record.
00:23:49.540 Just type in Klaus Schwab
00:23:50.620 says Trudeau's the model.
00:23:52.020 He penetrates the cabinets.
00:23:54.040 The UN
00:23:55.460 and your deputy prime minister
00:23:57.340 and all of them
00:23:57.980 have now come out
00:23:59.500 just this week
00:24:00.380 and said,
00:24:01.360 we want to take
00:24:02.300 the bank accounts
00:24:03.100 and demonetize
00:24:04.260 anybody that criticizes
00:24:06.060 the Ukraine war,
00:24:07.040 anybody that criticizes
00:24:07.940 open borders.
00:24:08.680 So they're trying
00:24:09.280 to take the model
00:24:10.360 of a social credit score
00:24:11.760 from China to Canada
00:24:13.320 and now externalize
00:24:15.100 that everywhere.
00:24:16.180 That's why this victory,
00:24:17.000 I know the court brought up
00:24:18.040 the debanking
00:24:18.540 as the worst part,
00:24:19.860 is so incredibly important.
00:24:22.860 Yeah, you know,
00:24:23.880 there's just this week
00:24:25.440 a member of parliament
00:24:27.100 for our socialist party
00:24:28.560 introduced a private
00:24:29.620 members bill
00:24:30.380 that would criminalize,
00:24:32.040 like not just make it
00:24:33.200 mildly illegal,
00:24:34.140 but it would be a crime
00:24:35.460 punishable with more
00:24:36.660 than a million dollars
00:24:37.600 in fines
00:24:38.220 and two years prison time.
00:24:39.800 This private member's bill
00:24:42.160 as it's called,
00:24:43.860 would make promoting
00:24:45.400 the oil and gas industry
00:24:47.420 a crime.
00:24:48.660 I know you're thinking,
00:24:49.480 no, that can't be.
00:24:50.340 There's got to be
00:24:50.960 some catch there.
00:24:52.340 The member of parliament
00:24:53.140 who introduced it
00:24:54.000 actually compared it
00:24:55.180 to anti-tobacco legislation.
00:24:58.840 And there's a common thread there.
00:25:01.180 They don't want you
00:25:01.920 to be able to criticize
00:25:02.940 oil and gas.
00:25:03.980 They want you to,
00:25:04.860 you know,
00:25:05.880 use less carbon.
00:25:07.840 They're also in Canada
00:25:09.080 proposing to make it a crime
00:25:10.780 to, quote,
00:25:11.840 deny a genocide
00:25:14.040 against indigenous people.
00:25:16.300 If you deny
00:25:17.520 that there are mass graves
00:25:19.240 of Indians
00:25:19.820 at the Indian residential schools,
00:25:21.820 even if you're a skeptic,
00:25:22.960 even if you're Indian yourself,
00:25:24.680 they say that should be a crime.
00:25:26.400 So there's all these movements
00:25:28.680 in Canada
00:25:29.360 to strangle free speech
00:25:31.860 about key issues.
00:25:33.200 And the thing is,
00:25:34.380 in Canada,
00:25:35.080 it's happening all the time.
00:25:36.380 But remember when I was
00:25:37.420 in Davos, Switzerland,
00:25:38.380 covering the World Economic Forum?
00:25:40.020 They're all pointing
00:25:41.420 towards the 2024 U.S. election.
00:25:44.560 That is the number one subject
00:25:46.440 of conversation
00:25:47.240 for the global elites.
00:25:48.520 I think I told you
00:25:49.240 that the two names
00:25:50.640 that were on the lips
00:25:51.740 of the delegates
00:25:52.440 of the WEF
00:25:53.300 more than any other
00:25:54.000 were, number one,
00:25:55.600 Donald Trump
00:25:56.200 and how can they stop him?
00:25:57.420 And number two,
00:25:58.940 Elon Musk
00:25:59.840 and how he is their impediment
00:26:02.000 to stopping Trump.
00:26:03.940 There I am in Europe
00:26:05.100 with all these Europeans,
00:26:06.460 all these globalists,
00:26:07.420 but they're obsessed
00:26:08.380 with those two disruptors
00:26:10.340 in America.
00:26:11.320 I want to report that to you, Alex,
00:26:12.880 because you want to know.
00:26:14.320 You told us,
00:26:15.400 but it bears repeating.
00:26:16.340 And people ask me,
00:26:17.140 is Musk
00:26:18.380 good or bad?
00:26:20.700 You can't lie.
00:26:22.240 The facts don't lie.
00:26:23.900 You judge a tree
00:26:24.680 by its fruits.
00:26:26.040 He was never really
00:26:27.100 a bad person,
00:26:27.860 but he's involved
00:26:28.300 in every major technology
00:26:29.240 so people can be as scared
00:26:30.280 of the technologies
00:26:30.880 and other implementation.
00:26:32.320 I certainly agree
00:26:32.920 with a lot of that.
00:26:33.480 We should be very careful.
00:26:34.760 But if you look at
00:26:35.740 one point in the cup
00:26:38.180 as being total freedom
00:26:38.980 and one being globalist tyranny,
00:26:40.720 he was kind of
00:26:41.280 in the middle before.
00:26:42.120 He swung almost
00:26:43.200 all the way over
00:26:44.160 to being like
00:26:45.660 a Tucker Carlson
00:26:47.200 or an Ezra Levant
00:26:48.360 or an Alex Jones.
00:26:50.400 And so is Joe Rogan.
00:26:51.640 And I know Joe Rogan personally.
00:26:53.020 I know he's really awake
00:26:54.460 and pissed off.
00:26:55.560 So I think people
00:26:56.600 need to be able
00:26:56.920 to sit back
00:26:57.600 and realize
00:26:59.020 we're having
00:26:59.640 cultural victories
00:27:00.860 and that we need
00:27:03.820 to get ready
00:27:04.160 for people
00:27:04.500 to come over
00:27:04.960 to our side
00:27:05.700 and not just reject people
00:27:07.620 when they start
00:27:08.340 doing so many good things.
00:27:09.700 What's your view on that
00:27:11.080 and what do you think
00:27:12.160 gut level
00:27:12.740 and also intellectually
00:27:14.680 about Elon Musk?
00:27:16.220 Thanks for asking.
00:27:17.240 My number one fear
00:27:18.260 is that he is exposed
00:27:19.200 to the Chinese government
00:27:20.420 because he has
00:27:21.080 such a large
00:27:21.840 production facility.
00:27:23.700 China is such a large
00:27:24.780 part of his plans.
00:27:25.940 So whenever I see him
00:27:26.860 asked about China
00:27:27.880 in one of his interviews
00:27:29.060 he really clams up a bit.
00:27:31.280 That's my number one fear.
00:27:32.800 But let's talk about
00:27:33.960 the number one
00:27:34.640 journalistic moment
00:27:35.640 of the week
00:27:36.160 which is Tucker Carlson's
00:27:37.500 upcoming interview
00:27:38.200 with Vladimir Putin.
00:27:40.080 That would not be aired
00:27:42.200 on any network TV.
00:27:44.720 I think it would be banned
00:27:46.280 on YouTube.
00:27:47.540 Elon Musk has assured
00:27:49.600 that that will be seen
00:27:50.920 in its totality.
00:27:52.180 And as he says,
00:27:53.320 let the people judge it.
00:27:54.460 And think of all
00:27:56.280 the other things
00:27:57.020 that he has permitted
00:27:57.860 including if I might say
00:27:59.260 the revival of your accounts.
00:28:02.860 And so, I mean,
00:28:03.840 that is a proof point.
00:28:05.100 You see his tweets lately
00:28:06.560 about open borders
00:28:07.660 immigration?
00:28:09.200 He's sounding like
00:28:10.800 a rock-ribbed Republican.
00:28:13.620 And I have to say
00:28:15.140 no man is perfect.
00:28:16.920 But as Ronald Reagan said,
00:28:18.340 I'm paraphrasing,
00:28:19.200 he said a 10% enemy
00:28:20.360 is still a 90% friend.
00:28:22.080 And Elon Musk
00:28:23.500 is a friend to everyone
00:28:24.820 who cares about
00:28:25.740 the free dissemination
00:28:27.060 of ideas,
00:28:28.220 the ability to speak
00:28:29.280 truth to power.
00:28:31.040 And that's why
00:28:32.220 they hate him
00:28:32.900 at the World Economic Forum.
00:28:33.720 No, exactly.
00:28:34.560 Anybody,
00:28:35.220 and start over
00:28:35.920 as uninterrupted,
00:28:36.340 but anybody that sits there
00:28:37.740 holier-than-thou about Musk,
00:28:39.180 I mean,
00:28:39.360 I just ask him,
00:28:40.340 okay, so you wish
00:28:41.160 he'd just get rid of Twitter
00:28:42.200 and stop doing
00:28:42.940 the good things he's doing?
00:28:43.960 No.
00:28:44.640 He's,
00:28:45.040 I know people
00:28:45.640 that know him personally.
00:28:46.380 I'll leave it at that.
00:28:46.980 He lives here in Austin.
00:28:48.180 I'm friends with some people
00:28:48.940 that are very close friends.
00:28:49.980 I've interviewed him
00:28:50.380 for two and a half hours.
00:28:51.080 They say behind the scenes
00:28:52.720 he is completely red-pilled,
00:28:54.720 totally pissed,
00:28:55.520 and awake.
00:28:56.220 Now, I know that
00:28:57.000 about Joe Rogan.
00:28:57.780 Joe Rogan had dinner.
00:28:58.560 He's like,
00:28:58.820 you're totally right, Alex.
00:28:59.800 It's all true.
00:29:00.420 New world order.
00:29:01.180 He's come out against us all.
00:29:02.600 And so I know Joe's for real,
00:29:04.180 and I can clearly see
00:29:05.720 that Musk is rapidly
00:29:07.320 moving into our camp
00:29:08.420 because as he said
00:29:09.520 just yesterday,
00:29:10.620 if the West collapses,
00:29:12.080 the world will collapse.
00:29:13.780 We've got to expand civilization.
00:29:15.460 It doesn't sit in stasis.
00:29:16.660 It will totally collapse.
00:29:18.000 The globalist plan
00:29:18.840 for post-industrial world
00:29:19.980 will create a new dark age
00:29:21.260 and the elites
00:29:21.860 will be destroyed.
00:29:22.620 This crazy leftist
00:29:24.340 Klaus Schwab,
00:29:25.160 King Charles,
00:29:26.180 Nazi-esque depopulation plan
00:29:28.180 will destroy everybody.
00:29:30.080 And Musk is smart
00:29:30.940 and he's right.
00:29:32.080 And so thank God
00:29:33.200 for Elon Musk.
00:29:33.920 It's not a kiss-his-ass scenario.
00:29:36.800 Trump's not perfect either,
00:29:37.860 but thank God
00:29:38.380 for President Trump.
00:29:39.700 I mean,
00:29:39.940 I'm just sick of people
00:29:41.440 acting holier than thou.
00:29:42.780 Does anyone in America,
00:29:46.040 does anyone in Canada
00:29:46.980 actually think for a second
00:29:49.800 that many of the world's calamities
00:29:51.880 would be happening
00:29:52.580 if Trump were in office?
00:29:53.920 All the things
00:29:54.600 they don't like about Trump,
00:29:56.260 mainly his personality,
00:29:58.000 his jokes,
00:29:58.840 his crass style,
00:30:00.360 those are the things
00:30:01.320 that scared the beans
00:30:02.740 out of the bad guys.
00:30:04.520 And I believe Trump,
00:30:06.420 when he says
00:30:06.900 he would end the war
00:30:07.560 in Ukraine in 24 hours,
00:30:08.840 I believe it never
00:30:09.720 would have started.
00:30:10.260 And I think every Democrat
00:30:11.360 knows that in their bones.
00:30:12.900 And I think every Democrat
00:30:14.100 knows in their bones
00:30:15.300 that some, you know,
00:30:17.140 Mad Max style
00:30:18.780 houthy terrorist
00:30:19.980 wouldn't be shooting
00:30:20.920 at oil tankers
00:30:22.360 or U.S. aircraft carriers
00:30:23.740 with impunity.
00:30:24.620 They wouldn't even try it
00:30:25.820 if Trump were around.
00:30:27.300 Peace through strength.
00:30:28.340 Donald Trump
00:30:28.880 didn't go starting wars,
00:30:30.640 but he had a wildness
00:30:32.160 in his eye,
00:30:33.220 a twinkle,
00:30:34.360 that you looked at him
00:30:36.260 and you said,
00:30:36.620 I'm not going to try
00:30:37.440 anything with this guy
00:30:38.360 because America's on top.
00:30:39.500 No one feels that way
00:30:41.700 about Biden.
00:30:42.480 Biden thinks he's still
00:30:43.300 negotiating with
00:30:44.120 Francois Minerand
00:30:45.500 who hasn't been with us
00:30:46.720 in decades.
00:30:47.580 And Helmut Kohl.
00:30:48.200 I just think-
00:30:48.680 And Helmut Kohl.
00:30:49.360 Yeah.
00:30:50.580 You know, he's-
00:30:51.960 I suppose they say
00:30:53.020 when you start
00:30:53.740 to lose your mind,
00:30:54.620 your memory goes back
00:30:55.540 to your childhood
00:30:56.260 or your youth.
00:30:57.420 Soon we'll have him
00:30:58.140 talking about corn pop
00:30:59.280 again or something.
00:31:00.440 I tell you,
00:31:01.240 November can't come
00:31:02.420 soon enough,
00:31:03.460 but I'm worried
00:31:04.980 because they will not
00:31:06.800 stop at anything
00:31:07.760 to block Trump.
00:31:08.820 So much depends
00:31:09.960 on it.
00:31:10.640 Trillions of dollars,
00:31:12.400 the states
00:31:13.040 of entire countries,
00:31:15.100 the dominance
00:31:15.780 of the U.S. currency
00:31:17.040 versus others.
00:31:18.580 The entire world
00:31:19.740 hinges on what
00:31:20.760 Americans do.
00:31:21.760 And let me be more precise.
00:31:23.160 We know which way
00:31:24.300 California is going.
00:31:25.400 We know which way
00:31:26.260 New York is going.
00:31:27.400 The entire world
00:31:28.340 depends on maybe
00:31:29.600 a half a dozen
00:31:30.620 battleground states
00:31:32.080 in America.
00:31:33.160 And that's why
00:31:33.920 election integrity,
00:31:35.100 and that's why
00:31:36.220 freedom of speech
00:31:37.960 electronically
00:31:38.600 is so important.
00:31:40.200 And we're up here
00:31:40.880 in Canada
00:31:41.380 and obviously we want
00:31:42.400 to get rid of
00:31:42.980 Justin Trudeau
00:31:43.720 because he's poisonous.
00:31:45.040 But I have to tell you,
00:31:46.960 whether or not
00:31:47.680 Trump wins or not,
00:31:49.320 or whether or not
00:31:50.120 Trudeau is re-elected
00:31:51.280 or not,
00:31:52.220 I think Trump winning
00:31:53.240 or not probably has
00:31:54.240 more effect on our lives
00:31:55.660 up here.
00:31:56.580 I mean, Trudeau's awful,
00:31:57.440 don't get me wrong.
00:31:58.560 But in terms of how
00:31:59.500 the entire world
00:32:00.620 would change or not,
00:32:01.960 your election
00:32:03.520 is important
00:32:04.400 to the whole world,
00:32:05.320 including to us
00:32:06.160 up here in Canada,
00:32:07.140 including Australia,
00:32:08.160 including to Europe.
00:32:09.260 Well, that's right.
00:32:09.800 I mean, elections
00:32:10.580 other than a few
00:32:11.520 city-states of Greece
00:32:13.060 2,500 years ago
00:32:14.340 never really existed
00:32:15.840 until about 250,
00:32:17.460 260 years ago.
00:32:18.640 And so this election
00:32:20.240 really is the most
00:32:21.460 important election
00:32:22.140 in world history.
00:32:24.200 I think that's right.
00:32:26.040 And we each have
00:32:27.440 a role to play.
00:32:29.320 Journalists like us,
00:32:30.660 our job is to,
00:32:31.960 tell the other side
00:32:32.740 of the story,
00:32:33.600 to follow the facts
00:32:34.480 wherever they lead,
00:32:35.440 to shine a light
00:32:36.160 of scrutiny on things.
00:32:37.100 And when people say
00:32:37.800 you're not allowed
00:32:38.420 to talk about that,
00:32:39.380 just say,
00:32:39.840 why?
00:32:40.360 I want to talk about it.
00:32:41.540 The fact you're saying
00:32:42.520 we're not allowed
00:32:43.160 to talk about it
00:32:43.920 makes me want to talk
00:32:45.000 about it twice as much.
00:32:46.300 And that's my thought
00:32:47.020 about Tucker interviewing
00:32:48.060 Vladimir Putin.
00:32:49.940 Everyone's so against it.
00:32:51.540 Now, others have
00:32:52.220 interviewed Putin,
00:32:53.060 including after he invaded
00:32:54.320 Ukraine in 2014.
00:32:56.000 Why can't Tucker?
00:32:57.340 Because he's shown
00:32:58.120 an open-mindedness?
00:32:59.240 I think Tucker,
00:33:00.280 for his own reputation's sake,
00:33:01.960 is going to ask
00:33:02.860 interesting,
00:33:04.180 firm questions,
00:33:05.680 not just banal blather.
00:33:07.380 I don't think he's
00:33:08.040 going to let
00:33:08.640 Vladimir Putin,
00:33:09.820 quote,
00:33:10.120 get away with things.
00:33:11.560 I think he's going
00:33:12.020 to let Vladimir Putin
00:33:13.060 talk.
00:33:13.760 That's your job
00:33:14.660 when you're talking
00:33:15.240 to a world leader
00:33:16.120 like that.
00:33:16.600 I think Tucker knows
00:33:18.880 this is his moment
00:33:20.300 to shine.
00:33:21.320 And I think he's put
00:33:22.380 an enormous amount
00:33:23.380 of thought in his questions.
00:33:23.760 Oh, I've never seen
00:33:24.180 him so excited.
00:33:25.140 He's been trying
00:33:25.720 for three years
00:33:26.760 to do this.
00:33:27.840 And I'll just leave
00:33:28.300 it at that.
00:33:28.740 But he is just,
00:33:30.260 this is all,
00:33:31.900 when I was up there
00:33:32.600 months ago up in Maine
00:33:33.480 with him,
00:33:33.900 he was just absolutely,
00:33:35.940 he goes,
00:33:36.060 when I go to Europe,
00:33:36.780 you know Europe.
00:33:37.740 Oh yeah,
00:33:38.240 Europe,
00:33:38.580 the big interview.
00:33:39.120 He goes,
00:33:39.320 yeah,
00:33:39.660 yeah.
00:33:40.300 I mean,
00:33:40.620 he really wants
00:33:41.640 to stop World War III.
00:33:43.120 And absolutely,
00:33:44.280 and I don't think
00:33:45.440 I know, Ezra,
00:33:46.460 their attempt
00:33:47.220 to demonize
00:33:48.520 and shut this down,
00:33:49.740 it would have got
00:33:50.220 100 million views on X.
00:33:51.820 The Streisand effect
00:33:53.480 is going to get this
00:33:54.020 a billion views total
00:33:55.060 one way or another.
00:33:56.720 I think so,
00:33:57.640 because it's not just
00:33:58.420 Americans who want
00:33:59.300 to see it.
00:33:59.960 Everyone in Europe
00:34:00.540 wants to see it.
00:34:01.380 And everyone around
00:34:02.100 the world who wants
00:34:02.800 to see both Tucker
00:34:04.340 and Putin.
00:34:05.360 This is historic
00:34:06.860 in a way.
00:34:08.540 And I mean,
00:34:10.020 I'm curious,
00:34:10.720 and every hater
00:34:11.700 is curious too.
00:34:13.440 I mean,
00:34:13.740 both fans and foes
00:34:15.480 want to see it.
00:34:16.380 You don't think
00:34:17.040 every single analyst
00:34:18.160 at the CIA
00:34:19.040 and NATO
00:34:20.420 is going to watch it.
00:34:21.820 You don't think
00:34:22.300 Vladimir Zelensky
00:34:23.500 is going to watch it.
00:34:24.780 They want to hear
00:34:25.540 answers to real questions.
00:34:28.260 And I think
00:34:29.640 we can all judge
00:34:31.080 what we hear
00:34:31.840 for ourselves.
00:34:32.720 And the fact
00:34:33.220 that Hillary Clinton
00:34:34.040 or others
00:34:35.460 are actually talking
00:34:36.400 about criminalizing
00:34:38.040 this journalism
00:34:38.920 tells you a lot
00:34:39.980 more about them.
00:34:40.940 It's so funny
00:34:41.640 the projection.
00:34:42.620 And I'm not saying
00:34:43.260 that Putin's a good guy.
00:34:44.400 He's a former KGB agent.
00:34:46.040 I'm sure he's
00:34:46.880 ended some lives
00:34:49.320 directly.
00:34:51.520 He's not a pleasant dude.
00:34:53.720 But for people
00:34:54.680 like Hillary Clinton
00:34:55.560 to start talking
00:34:56.540 about authoritarian moves
00:34:58.060 like jailing journalists,
00:35:00.200 she doesn't even realize
00:35:02.020 how much she's projecting.
00:35:04.980 The authoritarian nature
00:35:06.200 of the left
00:35:06.840 has certainly come out
00:35:07.860 in regards to Tucker.
00:35:09.480 It's quite telling.
00:35:10.560 No, I totally agree.
00:35:11.640 And they're also now
00:35:12.500 saying they want
00:35:13.500 to use the Espionage Act.
00:35:14.920 And they say
00:35:15.380 if he exchanged questions
00:35:17.200 with Putin beforehand,
00:35:18.300 that's espionage.
00:35:19.280 No, espionage is giving
00:35:20.200 somebody missile secrets
00:35:21.480 or submarine secrets
00:35:22.940 during a war.
00:35:24.280 Tucker's not giving
00:35:25.020 them military secrets.
00:35:25.820 He's going and talking
00:35:26.460 to them.
00:35:27.700 You know,
00:35:28.340 we know about Democrats
00:35:30.460 who receive millions
00:35:31.600 of dollars in payments,
00:35:32.660 for example,
00:35:33.140 from the wife
00:35:34.340 of the former Moscow mayor.
00:35:35.760 We know about millions
00:35:37.120 of dollars going
00:35:38.180 to high-ranking Democrats,
00:35:39.860 even in the president's
00:35:40.640 own family from Russia.
00:35:42.360 That would,
00:35:42.900 if you're interested
00:35:43.520 in espionage
00:35:44.440 and corruption
00:35:45.560 and influence,
00:35:45.960 That's right.
00:35:46.460 If Putin gave him
00:35:47.340 $10 million to be pro-Russia,
00:35:49.220 that would be espionage.
00:35:50.260 But there's no evidence
00:35:51.140 of that.
00:35:52.020 But there is
00:35:52.700 $3 million from the Moscow mayor.
00:35:54.880 There is three,
00:35:55.280 and there is...
00:35:55.760 Yeah.
00:35:58.520 And listen,
00:35:59.540 Tucker doesn't need the money.
00:36:00.920 Tucker's doing just fine.
00:36:02.000 I think he's making
00:36:03.240 a name for himself.
00:36:04.220 I saw Christiane Amanpour,
00:36:05.500 I think it was,
00:36:06.540 saying,
00:36:06.980 oh, Tucker,
00:36:07.520 you're not the only one
00:36:08.460 trying to get...
00:36:09.400 He was criticizing Tucker
00:36:10.580 and saying,
00:36:10.880 oh, we've all been
00:36:11.480 trying to get it.
00:36:12.040 Well, that's...
00:36:12.480 It's jealousy partly, too,
00:36:15.240 isn't it?
00:36:16.340 I mean,
00:36:17.380 what journalist
00:36:18.340 wouldn't love
00:36:19.140 to have this moment?
00:36:20.020 You would.
00:36:20.680 I would.
00:36:21.620 Well, Tucker's the guy
00:36:22.540 with the momentum
00:36:23.220 and the gravity,
00:36:24.200 and he's been telegraphing
00:36:25.560 for years.
00:36:26.060 He wants this.
00:36:27.000 I bet he's been thinking
00:36:28.400 of his questions
00:36:29.260 for three years, Alex.
00:36:30.600 I'm looking forward
00:36:31.980 to seeing it,
00:36:32.580 and every hater
00:36:33.600 will be watching, too.
00:36:34.760 It's like what they used
00:36:35.360 to say about Howard Stern.
00:36:37.060 The only people
00:36:37.800 who listened longer
00:36:39.000 than the fans
00:36:39.860 were the foes,
00:36:41.000 and for the same reason.
00:36:41.940 What's he going to say next?
00:36:43.200 Except this isn't just jokes
00:36:44.740 and sex jokes.
00:36:46.160 This is the stuff
00:36:47.180 that wars and peace
00:36:48.920 are made of.
00:36:49.780 It's going to be historic,
00:36:50.860 I think.
00:36:51.440 I'm excited to see
00:36:52.300 some real journalism
00:36:53.200 instead of the propaganda
00:36:54.500 I see.
00:36:55.660 Well, I mean,
00:36:56.320 you're absolutely right,
00:36:57.120 and that's why
00:36:58.140 this is bigger than Tucker
00:36:59.120 or Vladimir Putin.
00:36:59.920 It's about stopping
00:37:00.520 World War III.
00:37:01.600 It's about Kennedy
00:37:02.260 getting on the phone
00:37:02.780 with Khrushchev
00:37:03.360 and the Cuban Missile Crisis
00:37:04.520 in the early 1960s.
00:37:06.000 We need this dialogue,
00:37:08.020 and we need to know
00:37:08.820 that all Americans
00:37:09.900 don't hate Russians,
00:37:10.740 and all Russians
00:37:11.320 don't hate Americans,
00:37:12.460 and that it's actually
00:37:13.060 the opposite of that.
00:37:14.400 And look,
00:37:14.700 I don't like hearing
00:37:15.380 the Ayatollah Khomeini
00:37:16.380 or Khomeini before that.
00:37:17.740 I don't like things
00:37:18.600 he was saying.
00:37:19.120 I don't like those guys,
00:37:19.960 but it was okay
00:37:20.900 when all those big
00:37:22.800 national 60 Minutes
00:37:24.220 reporters went and talked
00:37:25.720 to him because that's
00:37:26.560 what you're supposed to do,
00:37:27.860 and what they're really saying
00:37:29.120 is your children,
00:37:30.920 you're not allowed
00:37:31.800 as adults
00:37:32.780 to hear what another
00:37:34.040 adult is saying,
00:37:35.220 and that's just
00:37:35.800 the essence of tyranny,
00:37:36.740 and that's the essence
00:37:37.420 of being treated
00:37:38.220 like a child.
00:37:40.780 You know,
00:37:41.240 in Davos,
00:37:42.360 I'm not sure
00:37:42.800 if I told you,
00:37:43.460 when I was here
00:37:43.940 for the World Economic Forum,
00:37:45.100 remember,
00:37:45.520 so many companies
00:37:46.520 and countries
00:37:47.120 have a big pavilion
00:37:48.300 outside the secure area
00:37:50.620 so we could go into them
00:37:51.740 and see what they had to say
00:37:52.700 at the United Arab Emirates
00:37:54.380 or India or whatever.
00:37:56.240 Ukraine has a big pavilion
00:37:58.060 every time,
00:37:59.080 and I went there last year
00:37:59.940 and I went there this year,
00:38:01.220 and obviously,
00:38:02.460 it's their national message.
00:38:04.340 You could call it propaganda,
00:38:05.340 but I went there
00:38:06.880 with an open eyes,
00:38:07.840 an open heart,
00:38:08.660 and listen,
00:38:10.200 Alex,
00:38:10.540 the number one victims here
00:38:11.780 are the Ukrainian people.
00:38:13.440 How many hundreds of thousands
00:38:14.720 of people have been killed?
00:38:16.680 Young,
00:38:17.080 an entire generation
00:38:18.260 of young men.
00:38:18.840 I saw a report
00:38:19.440 that the average age
00:38:20.260 of the Ukrainian soldier
00:38:21.580 these days is 43
00:38:22.840 because they've wiped out
00:38:24.280 the generation of young people,
00:38:25.640 let alone the millions
00:38:26.840 who have fled the country
00:38:28.080 as refugees.
00:38:29.080 The number one beneficiary
00:38:31.560 of peace
00:38:32.220 would be the Ukrainian people,
00:38:33.900 and when I hear
00:38:35.340 the alternative
00:38:35.920 just flinging more men
00:38:38.160 into the meat grinder,
00:38:40.820 it's heartbreaking.
00:38:42.080 And now they want
00:38:44.000 to conscript women,
00:38:45.180 and even the former
00:38:46.040 U.S. top general
00:38:47.340 from NATO
00:38:47.860 just retired a few years ago.
00:38:49.360 He said two weeks ago,
00:38:50.660 it's time to conscript
00:38:51.980 the women.
00:38:52.720 This is barbaric.
00:38:55.000 You know,
00:38:55.680 it's heartbreaking,
00:38:56.700 and I tell you,
00:38:58.280 if I had one question
00:38:59.360 to ask Putin,
00:39:00.100 and I know I'll never
00:39:00.760 get the chance,
00:39:01.880 it would be this.
00:39:03.340 There's so many reports
00:39:04.580 from different people
00:39:05.580 who were there
00:39:06.280 that there was,
00:39:07.540 when Israel
00:39:08.420 was actually helping to,
00:39:11.000 Israel's friendly
00:39:11.800 with Ukraine and Russia.
00:39:13.620 So Israel was hosting
00:39:14.720 a kind of peace talk,
00:39:16.540 this is over a year ago,
00:39:17.900 and there was a general template
00:39:20.200 on a peace agreement,
00:39:21.980 and Boris Johnson
00:39:23.000 was dispatched
00:39:24.480 to scupper that deal
00:39:26.440 at the last moment
00:39:27.280 that's been widely reported
00:39:28.440 from various people
00:39:29.680 in the meeting.
00:39:31.160 How, and what did the West,
00:39:33.440 what did Ukraine gain
00:39:34.940 from the additional war
00:39:36.840 besides more devastation?
00:39:38.140 And Israel didn't get
00:39:39.040 any credit
00:39:39.640 for trying to stop the war.
00:39:41.200 Netanyahu did do that.
00:39:43.400 You know, it should have been,
00:39:44.400 I mean, could you imagine
00:39:45.360 if the war was stopped there?
00:39:46.740 I want to,
00:39:47.500 I would like to hear
00:39:48.660 Putin describe
00:39:49.740 what the deal was
00:39:51.420 and why it was called off
00:39:52.780 if he would be interested
00:39:53.740 in the deal,
00:39:54.660 because otherwise,
00:39:55.600 how does this end?
00:39:56.860 What's the end game
00:39:58.120 for Ukraine,
00:39:59.040 simply depopulating
00:40:00.980 the country,
00:40:01.680 throwing more men?
00:40:02.280 Well, that was my next question.
00:40:03.360 I mean, they now even admit
00:40:04.760 in the New York Times,
00:40:05.480 we knew this a year ago,
00:40:06.820 six months ago was certain,
00:40:08.200 they've been decimated,
00:40:09.160 they can't get new recruits,
00:40:10.160 the Russians never wanted
00:40:11.360 to take the whole country,
00:40:12.200 they wanted that security zone
00:40:13.220 and then to lure
00:40:14.320 the NATO proxy army
00:40:16.480 in for destruction.
00:40:17.220 What Putin said two years ago
00:40:18.220 has now been done.
00:40:19.620 I think it's fair to say
00:40:20.900 Ukraine has lost.
00:40:23.920 And they've lost
00:40:24.680 in a number of ways
00:40:25.580 and it's heartbreaking
00:40:26.480 and I say that
00:40:28.540 having gone through
00:40:29.880 and absorbed
00:40:31.360 the Ukrainian message
00:40:32.740 in Davos.
00:40:33.240 And I went in there knowing,
00:40:34.720 okay, I'm going to be getting
00:40:35.700 the full Monty
00:40:36.620 from the Ukrainian side.
00:40:37.940 But you know what?
00:40:38.840 It's a story of loss
00:40:40.100 and pain.
00:40:41.300 And yeah.
00:40:41.720 And they've been valued.
00:40:43.060 I mean, they're outnumbered,
00:40:44.140 you know,
00:40:44.440 10 to 1 by the Russians.
00:40:45.940 You can't deny the Ukrainians
00:40:47.120 have fought like hell,
00:40:47.960 but all the analysts knew
00:40:49.580 it was a suicide mission.
00:40:50.840 So the West sits back,
00:40:52.080 winds them up,
00:40:52.860 pushes them in to die,
00:40:54.080 knowing Russia was going to win.
00:40:55.400 You know,
00:40:57.540 Ukraine
00:40:58.440 had one of the largest
00:41:02.700 caches
00:41:03.360 of nuclear weapons
00:41:05.160 after the Cold War
00:41:06.040 because remember,
00:41:06.580 they were part of the Soviet Union
00:41:07.900 and other than
00:41:09.020 the Russian Federation itself,
00:41:11.200 Ukraine had the most nukes
00:41:12.580 of any country.
00:41:13.320 I think they had,
00:41:14.060 other than America,
00:41:15.040 I think they were in,
00:41:16.120 it was America,
00:41:16.940 Russia, Ukraine,
00:41:17.780 and then...
00:41:18.140 Yeah, Ukraine was positioned
00:41:19.180 for war by Europe, yeah.
00:41:23.060 And they were convinced
00:41:25.220 to give up their nukes.
00:41:26.600 And Bill Clinton signed,
00:41:27.620 I think it was called
00:41:28.120 the Bucharest Memorandum,
00:41:29.840 the Budapest Memorandum,
00:41:31.280 basically saying,
00:41:32.440 give up your nukes
00:41:33.220 and we promise we'll help you.
00:41:35.120 Well, that's sort of a parable,
00:41:37.360 isn't it?
00:41:37.820 Never give up your guns,
00:41:40.000 let alone your nukes.
00:41:41.760 If Ukraine had its nukes,
00:41:43.660 Russia never would have invaded.
00:41:45.260 And there's a parable there
00:41:46.460 about someone saying,
00:41:47.480 give up your own self-defense,
00:41:49.840 we'll take care of you.
00:41:51.320 That paper was worth nothing.
00:41:53.760 And my heart breaks.
00:41:55.160 You know, my own family
00:41:55.900 came from Ukraine
00:41:56.660 120 years ago.
00:41:57.640 Obviously, I regard myself
00:41:58.560 as a Canadian.
00:41:59.980 But, you know,
00:42:01.080 what a disaster that war has been,
00:42:03.360 but it's still celebrated
00:42:04.400 as a victory across the West.
00:42:17.480 Auer is a police officer,
00:42:18.020 rather than 43 contrario tonic experience
00:42:18.720 to get up and have.
00:42:20.700 It's now a life or life or cannot be
00:42:21.500 chosen,
00:42:30.280 I think it's less than a life,
00:42:31.060 also a task or a task.
00:42:33.820 So that's a victory.
00:42:35.560 Although,
00:42:36.740 let's work for you.
00:42:37.560 If you want us,
00:42:38.380 like how don't you hold it,
00:42:39.280 we'll be doing both forademies.
