00:00:00.000 Tonight, it's election night. It's April 28th, and this is the Ezra Levant Show.
00:00:08.000 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:00:20.080 Oh, hi, everybody. Tonight's the big night. We're going to start a live stream. Sheely and I are
00:00:25.000 co-hosting it. That's going to start at 6 p.m. Eastern Time, so actually before the 8 p.m.
00:00:31.160 time slot when my Ezra Levant Show normally runs. So we're going to skip the normal show because by
00:00:36.440 the time it airs, we'll have known a lot about how things are going to shake out tonight.
00:00:42.360 But let me show you a couple of things in the meantime. First of all, I jotted to the Isle of
00:00:48.140 Mann on Friday, and then on my way back on Saturday, I had to come back through Dublin.
00:00:56.740 It was a very quick trip. We went to the Isle of Mann to track down Mark Carney's tax haven.
00:01:03.240 And on the way back, we went through Dublin and saw a massive anti-immigration march.
00:01:08.020 I'd like to show you these two videos. The Dublin one is new. And what I like about going to Dublin
00:01:14.020 is they have some of the worst immigration policy in the world, but they also have that Irish fighting
00:01:19.180 spirit. And it was actually a pleasure to see. So without further ado, I'll show you the Isle of
00:01:24.840 Mann vid, about 20 minutes long, and then a great video from Ireland. I'll say goodbye to you now,
00:01:31.340 enjoy the videos, and we'll talk to you on the live stream.
00:01:35.000 Ezra Levant here for Rebel News. We flew all night from Toronto to Dublin, waited at the Dublin
00:01:41.720 airport, then got on a smaller aircraft, and flew just under an hour into a small island
00:01:48.960 between Ireland and the United Kingdom. It's a small place. Maybe you've heard of it. It's
00:01:54.900 called the Isle of Mann, and that's where we're standing today. There's less than 90,000 people
00:02:01.140 on the Isle of Mann, and it's a lovely place, centuries old. The Vikings used to rule the place,
00:02:09.860 then the Celts. Now it has its own culture. The Isle of Mann, someone from the Isle of Mann is called
00:02:15.120 a Manx, which is interesting. The key thing about this place from a global perspective
00:02:22.580 is not its beauty, but its tax status. This is a place people come to when they don't want to pay tax.
00:02:34.760 There's no capital gains tax. There's no wealth tax. There's no inheritance tax. In fact, tax is
00:02:40.380 capped at 200,000 pounds per person. No matter how much you make, you will never pay more than that
00:02:46.860 in tax. I understand it. The income tax is just 22%, but like I say, there is a cap. This is where
00:02:54.200 you come if you want to hide millions or even billions. The thing is, it's a lovely place to retire,
00:03:02.020 but it's not quite as warm as, let's say, the Cayman Islands and the Caribbean and other
00:03:06.860 tax avoidance hotspot. So what happens is millionaires and billionaires come here to set
00:03:15.260 up a fake office, like a mailbox or a P.O. box, and say that their company is headquartered here
00:03:23.500 because there's another wrinkle in Isle of Man taxation. You can pay all your global taxes
00:03:32.700 for all your activities around the world. You can pay them here in the Isle of Man. So you can be
00:03:39.180 doing business in the United States, in Canada, in the European Union, but you can come here to pay
00:03:45.180 your tax as a kind of tax minimization, tax evasion, tax avoidance strategy. And maybe you can guess
00:03:56.020 where I'm going with this. Canada's new prime minister, who's seeking a new term, Mark Carney,
00:04:02.100 he was the chairman of Brookfield Asset Management for years. It's not a household name like BlackRock
00:04:09.080 asset management, but it's a kind of mini BlackRock. It has about a trillion dollars in assets under
00:04:16.140 management. And BlackRock is famous, but Brookfield, I think should be, because through tricky corporate
00:04:26.120 structures, they have made it so their assets and their profits are as tax-free as possible.
00:04:34.300 There was a report that Brookfield managed to hide $25 billion by operating a shell company out of
00:04:43.680 Bermuda. In fact, an independent study suggests that Brookfield, under Mark Carney's leadership,
00:04:50.440 was the number one largest tax dodger in the country. They have all sorts of corporate structures,
00:04:59.940 but obviously they're not living here. They're not working here. Brookfield doesn't operate here.
00:05:06.920 We're here because I want to go to a house on Belgravia Road. It's a house. I know that even
00:05:14.420 though I haven't been there yet. I looked it up on Google Maps because Brookfield IOM, Brookfield
00:05:20.240 Isle of Man is headquartered in what looks like on Google Maps to be someone's house. And I did some
00:05:29.340 corporate searches and the director of Brookfield IOM is an 88-year-old man, Leslie Commons. An 88-year-old
00:05:40.660 man is running an organization with billions or tens of billions of dollars. Is that for real? Well,
00:05:50.380 I've learned that a lot of people in the Isle of Man have a kind of job or a series of jobs where they
00:05:57.300 act as the pretend officers or directors of these foreign companies. They're just regular people
00:06:03.340 who for a certain sum of money said, sure, I'll be your director. Sure, you can put my name down
00:06:08.340 on the corporate records. I'm an 88-year-old man. You can pay me X amount of dollars a month and I'll
00:06:13.180 be the name on the piece of paper hiding the true power behind the throne. You know, we've only been in
00:06:22.120 the Isle of Man for about an hour and we haven't talked to a lot of people other than our cab driver
00:06:27.000 who's been giving us a bit of a tour. There's lovely people here and it sounds like a close-knit
00:06:31.280 community. Sounds like a wonderful place to grow up. It's so beautiful, first of all. But when you
00:06:38.120 have the kind of tax dodges that this place does, you attract some shady characters. Believe it or not,
00:06:44.080 one of the largest industries in the Isle of Man is online gambling. The Isle of Man has not complied
00:06:52.200 with other countries' rules about money laundering. And so it's well known that there is a lot of
00:06:58.020 money laundering here, not just from the international drug trade, the international weapons trade, but
00:07:02.960 also regimes like the Russian Federation where politicians and oligarchs try and squirrel their
00:07:10.360 money out of Russia and hide it from the tax men, the Russian tax men and the tax men in London or New
00:07:16.500 York also. We are in a city that's called Douglas, the capital, where there are many wonderful people,
00:07:23.940 but there are also shadow people, people who come here to hide money from tax collectors. Now,
00:07:32.500 each of us would love to do that. Wouldn't you like to have a mailbox on Belgravia Road and have
00:07:39.240 someone say, yeah, I'm the head officer of a barbershop, a restaurant, a farm, and we're only
00:07:46.840 going to pay 22% tax capped at £200,000 a year? Wouldn't you like to do that? Because as Mark Carney
00:07:52.960 says, it's all legal. He was asked about his Bermuda tax dodge. Remember what he said?
00:07:59.340 You were at the helm of a company that quite clearly registered much of its business in Bermuda
00:08:04.740 to avoid paying taxes, including, as CTV News reported, registered to an address of a bike
00:08:11.740 shop in Bermuda. You have said that this is the way the world works and that in the case of pension
00:08:17.860 funds, that leaves more money for pensioners. But in this case, it looks like just plain tax avoidance.
00:08:24.340 This may be a legal practice and, as you say, as the world works, but is it ethical, Mr. Carney?
00:08:30.980 Uh, the, first off, I'm no longer at Brookfield. Secondly, uh, this, uh, follows, uh, their
00:08:38.500 arrangements follow the rules, uh, including the tax rules of this country, other countries. And
00:08:43.140 thirdly, uh, as you mentioned in your question, that the structure is organized so that Canadian
00:08:49.980 pension funds, um, can get the most benefit for those pensioners, which are teachers, uh,
00:08:55.980 retired first responders, uh, and public servants. Thank you. He said he followed the rules and he
00:09:00.860 said his clients got a good deal of it out of it. Well, sure they did. And he got a huge deal out of
00:09:06.540 it. But what about everyone else? What about everyone else back in Canada who has to live under
00:09:11.420 Canadian rules, pay Canadian taxes? You know, Mark Carney hasn't actually answered the question
00:09:17.660 about where he personally filed his taxes. Did he file them in Canada? Remember, he's got three
00:09:24.740 passports, including a British passport and an Irish passport. The Isle of Man is actually a crown
00:09:30.500 protectorate of the United Kingdom. Did Mark Carney use his other passports so he could file his personal
00:09:38.980 taxes here in the Isle of Man? I don't know, but we're now going to make our way down to Belgravia
00:09:44.340 road and we're going to ring the doorbell of Mr. Commons. And I'm sure if he's home, that he's a
00:09:49.860 lovely 88 year old man who probably won't even know what I'm talking about because my guess is he
00:09:56.660 does this like a lot of people, a lot of Manx people do. They just make a few extra bucks being
00:10:02.500 on on paper director for foreign oligarchs. Let's go see what happens when we ring the doorbell.
00:10:08.020 All right, well, we're on our way now to find the director of Brookfield Isle of Man. And I want to tell
00:10:15.460 you, we found his name by going on the corporate search in the UK. It's called Companies House.
00:10:20.820 That's the official UK government registry where all companies have to post some public information.
00:10:27.380 As you can see, Brookfield IOM registered as an overseas entity in December of 2022. That's when
00:10:36.500 Mark Carney was the chairman. It's updated its information in December 2023 and December 2024,
00:10:43.940 just weeks before Mark Carney became the Canadian prime minister. There's not a lot of information
00:10:50.260 here. And I think it's that way on purpose. It's sort of like a mafia organization. They have cutouts,
00:10:57.140 they have deceptions. The whole point of it is to confuse. But if you look at the filing history,
00:11:06.340 this is where it gets really interesting in my mind. I'm just going to click on the latest,
00:11:12.340 the latest. When this was set up by Mark Carney a couple of years ago, they have a page called
00:11:19.700 individual beneficial owner details. So beneficial owner is someone who is like the word says, he's the
00:11:26.500 true owner, the guy who benefits from it. And his name is Leslie Commons. I've never heard of that
00:11:32.660 before. And a Google search doesn't turn up, turn up much at all. But I see on here that he is 88 years
00:11:39.300 old. And I say, Mazel Tov, hopefully he lives to be 120. But that suggests to me that he's just a
00:11:44.980 placeholder, a straw man. And that they're actually using him to try to hide the true identity
00:11:50.660 of who's behind Brookfield IOM. So his address is in here. It looks like a residential address. And
00:11:56.340 that's a tip off right there. Brookfield has some of the most majestic imperial skyscrapers in the
00:12:04.420 Western world. The fact that this looks like Mr. Commons is in a residential home tells me that
00:12:11.780 he's just a straw man. But look at what is sworn to in this document. That Mr. Commons holds directly
00:12:18.180 or indirectly more than 25% of the shares. That he holds directly or indirectly more than 25% of the
00:12:24.500 voting rights. That he has the right directly or indirectly to appoint or remove a majority of the
00:12:29.780 board of directors. And that he has the right to exercise or actually exercises significant
00:12:36.180 influence or control over the entity. Is it true that 88-year-old Leslie Commons of Belgravia Road
00:12:44.100 and the Isle of Man, a fellow whose home we're going to right now, is it true that he is the boss
00:12:50.900 of Brookfield IOM? Can that really be true? Or is this just a legal fiction set up by Mark Carney
00:12:57.460 and his tricky lawyers to avoid paying taxes in Canada? You'll remember this was around the time
00:13:03.780 that Mark Carney voted to move the headquarters of Brookfield out of Canada to the United States,
00:13:10.100 again, for tax reasons. Let's find out. And by the way, I'm going to be super friendly to Mr.
00:13:14.980 Commons because my guess is he's just a fella who earned some pocket money by being a straw man
00:13:20.820 placeholder in Mark Carney's filings. It's Mark Carney and the lawyers who crafted all this. They just
00:13:26.820 needed some guy and they found 88-year-old Mr. Commons. Let's see if we can find him.
00:13:32.660 Well, we found it. Planes, trains, and automobiles half a continent away. We found the head office for
00:13:39.140 Brookfield IOM, Brookfield Isle of Man. It's a foreign shell company set up by Mark Carney two and a
00:13:47.300 half years ago when he was the chairman of Brookfield Asset Management. It was renewed in 2023 and again in
00:13:53.460 December 2024. That's it.
00:14:03.300 Hi. I'm Ezra. Are you, are you, is Mr. Commons in?
00:14:09.140 I have no idea.
00:14:10.340 I came here from Canada to, to, because the Canadian Prime Minister has an office here
00:14:20.500 and I, and it's registered to Mr. Commons. Are you, do you know who he is, Leslie Commons?
00:14:26.500 He's my landlord, yeah.
00:14:27.940 He's your landlord?
00:14:28.980 Yeah.
00:14:29.380 Um, do you know?
00:14:31.940 He lives upstairs. I don't know if he's in or not.
00:14:34.340 Oh, okay. So I push the button and uh,
00:14:38.740 so he's the landlord.
00:14:39.860 Flat by.
00:14:41.060 Yeah, I push the button there because, because there's a political story. I just wanted to ask him
00:14:45.940 some questions about it, but you don't know if he's in. I've just come back and I'm going on
00:14:50.740 holiday this afternoon, so if he hasn't answered his bell, then I can remind that he's not in.
00:14:55.540 Yeah, I push the button three times and uh, yeah. So he's the landlord, but does he also live here?
00:15:03.060 Sometimes.
00:15:03.780 Yeah.
00:15:04.100 Not, not only around.
00:15:05.540 Right. Do you know where he goes when he's not here? Like, is he in town now?
00:15:09.540 I saw him last week, but I don't know if he's around now.
00:15:14.180 Yeah.
00:15:15.940 Okay. Well, thanks very much. And uh, we, I just talk, I'm not talking about you and don't worry
00:15:22.340 about it. We're just talking about the Prime Minister.
00:15:24.660 Obviously, it's just because you're shooting any camera at the building.
00:15:26.980 Honestly, it's just because you're shooting any camera at the building, honestly.
00:15:28.020 Yeah, well, I'm not in the film at all now.
00:15:31.780 We'll blur your face.
00:15:33.860 Okay?
00:15:34.180 I'll just put my side down.
00:15:36.500 Okay, that's a good idea. Thank you.
00:15:40.180 Isn't that very, very interesting?
00:15:41.460 As I was talking about how Leslie Commons was not in and didn't answer his doorbell,
00:15:47.780 someone else came to the window, saw us filming and I walked over and I,
00:15:52.180 she didn't want to appear on camera and I said we would blur her face.
00:15:55.460 She confirmed for me that Leslie Commons does live in, uh, the apartment above her
00:16:02.340 and that he's the landlord and she saw him just the other day
00:16:06.420 and he does indeed live here.
00:16:10.020 So, uh, I guess he is a bit of a businessman himself, but the Brookfield IOM office, it's
00:16:17.460 marked on his buzzer.
00:16:18.340 I rang it three times.
00:16:19.380 Um, that friendly lady doesn't think he's in today either.
00:16:23.300 Um, but here's what's going on.
00:16:26.420 This is not where Brookfield does its business.
00:16:29.620 This is a beautiful residential street on the beautiful island of the Isle of Man.
00:16:35.140 Just up there is, uh, Anken Park.
00:16:37.300 There's tennis courts.
00:16:38.340 There's a little boating pond.
00:16:41.300 This is a wonderful place to live.
00:16:43.060 It, it's on the ocean.
00:16:44.500 It's a little chilly.
00:16:45.380 It's not like being in the Caribbean, except in one way.
00:16:48.500 Here's the way it's like being in the Caribbean.
00:16:50.260 Well, 350 years ago, there was a wildness to a lot of the Caribbean and there were little
00:16:55.940 ports where pirates can go and they weren't hunted down.
00:17:00.660 Tortuga, for example, even Nassau in the Bahamas.
00:17:04.420 There was a period of time when pirates could sail around the Caribbean,
00:17:07.860 attacking ships, stealing, and they could go to these safe free ports and do their pirate
00:17:14.180 business.
00:17:14.660 It wasn't too long before the great navies of the world crushed the pirates and stopped
00:17:20.180 that illicit trade.
00:17:21.140 Um, I'm not saying that the Isle of Man is like Tortuga, but it is home to people like
00:17:28.820 Mark Carney who want to squirrel away billions or even tens of billions of dollars to keep them
00:17:35.220 out of the hands of the tax man back in Canada.
00:17:38.820 And I simply don't believe that that lovely residential building is the headquarters of
00:17:46.100 Brookfield IOM.
00:17:47.620 In fact, I know it's not.
00:17:49.220 And I simply don't believe that a kindly 88 year old landlord who lives in a building and
00:17:56.580 handles the rent from a couple of families below.
00:17:59.220 I simply don't believe that he is the beneficial owner and director of Brookfield IOM.
00:18:06.180 Like I say, he does what a lot of people in the Isle of Man do to make a few extra bucks
00:18:10.100 on the side.
00:18:11.220 He's a straw man.
00:18:12.820 And I'm not saying there's anything illegal with it.
00:18:14.900 In fact, that's sort of the whole point.
00:18:16.820 Here in the Isle of Man, this is perfectly legal.
00:18:19.780 And as Mark Carney keeps on saying, hey, he followed all the rules.
00:18:24.500 Wouldn't it be nice though, if your company could have an office in the Isle of Man that
00:18:31.700 you had a maximum 22% income tax rate that was capped at 200,000 pounds a year, no inheritance
00:18:38.660 of tax, no wealth tax, no capital gains tax.
00:18:41.540 Wouldn't it be great if you could live by those rules?
00:18:44.660 Those rules, alas, the common people, the peasants are not allowed to, just the masters
00:18:49.780 of the universe like Mark Carney.
00:18:51.940 What I really want to know is did he file his own taxes here in the Isle of Man?
00:19:00.260 In fact, that's one of the questions I put to the Liberal Party today.
00:19:03.220 When I was coming out here, I sent an email to them.
00:19:05.860 I'd like to read those questions to you now.
00:19:08.420 I think the odds of them answering me are about the same of the odds of us
00:19:12.020 getting into the Debates Commission and for the same reason.
00:19:15.220 Let me read to you the eight questions I put to Mark Carney via the Liberal Party today.
00:19:19.860 Number one, what is the purpose of Brookfield IOM?
00:19:23.060 That stands for Isle of Man.
00:19:24.820 When was it created?
00:19:26.980 Did Brookfield set up Brookfield IOM to avoid Canadian taxes?
00:19:31.300 I think we know the answer to that one.
00:19:33.620 How much tax does Brookfield pay in the Isle of Man?
00:19:37.620 Does Brookfield actually have any business activity in the Isle of Man?
00:19:42.020 Did Mr. Carney himself pay his taxes in the Isle of Man?
00:19:47.620 I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
00:19:50.020 The Isle of Man is considered a haven for money laundering, tax avoidance, and tax evasion.
00:19:55.780 Did Mr. Carney have any ethical qualms with that?
00:19:59.220 We know the answer to that one already, don't we?
00:20:01.860 Does Mr. Carney still have his Irish and British passports?
00:20:06.420 And finally, are there any other facts about Brookfield IOM, Isle of Man, that Mr. Carney would like to disclose?
00:20:13.780 Oh, I don't think so.
00:20:15.220 But then again, I don't think any journalist is actually going to put those questions to him.
00:20:20.180 They're a little too prickly, a little bit too accountability oriented.
00:20:23.540 It's too much like vetting, Mark Carney.
00:20:26.020 You know, this is a lovely place to live.
00:20:29.380 This is a residential neighborhood.
00:20:31.060 Normally we wouldn't even come into a place like this to do journalism.
00:20:34.500 We would go to a corporate head office.
00:20:37.940 Brookfield owns some of the most spectacular buildings in the world.
00:20:41.220 For example, in London they own Canary Wharf, one of the most prestigious
00:20:48.180 basically financial centers in the West.
00:20:51.780 That's where they do their business activity.
00:20:53.860 The only reason Brookfield IOM has a little button in the mailbox here
00:21:00.580 is to get around paying the taxes that you and I have to pay.
00:21:05.140 And the fact that Mark Carney was supervising this Brookfield Isle of Man as recently as December
00:21:12.580 2024 shows the kind of prime minister that he is and that he will be.
00:21:17.860 If you think this journalism was worthwhile, help me out.
00:21:23.380 In the end, we didn't find Mr. Commons.
00:21:26.900 But I think what we would have found was an 88 year old kindly man.
00:21:30.580 We had a bit of a chat with one of his tenants.
00:21:34.020 But we came here to do a kind of investigative journalism that
00:21:38.100 the CBC only reserves for the Pierre Polyevs of the world.
00:21:42.660 No one is really vetting Mark Carney just like no one really vetted Justin Trudeau.
00:21:48.100 If you think this was worth it, go to thecarneyfiles.com and chip in a few dollars.
00:21:54.820 My colleague Lincoln Jay and I flew to Dublin this morning and then flew to the Isle of Man
00:22:00.340 and we're doing the whole thing in reverse now because we thought this was an important story.
00:22:04.340 And I wanted to see what the Brookfield HQ looked like.
00:22:08.740 You know what it looks like?
00:22:10.660 It looks like a tax avoidance scheme.
00:22:14.340 For Rebel News, I'm Ezra Levant.
00:22:15.780 The Irish people can't get homes.
00:22:22.340 They can't get hospital beds.
00:22:23.620 This has to come to an end.
00:22:24.820 Nationalism is not racism.
00:22:30.420 This government doesn't care for our own people.
00:22:33.060 They care for the other people.
00:22:34.420 You need to look after the Irish people first.
00:22:39.060 Wouldn't you know it?
00:22:40.180 There it is.
00:22:41.300 There's a hammer and sickle flag.
00:22:43.140 They don't have a lot of Irish flags.
00:22:46.180 The government here, like many Western governments, only speak, only listen to the NGOs.
00:22:52.020 Bring Ireland back to the way it is, man, because we're losing our culture, our history.
00:22:57.860 Ezra Levant here for Rebel News.
00:22:59.220 Look at this.
00:22:59.540 I'm in a sea of Irish flags.
00:23:01.220 I'm in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, because this is a massive march.
00:23:05.220 Organisers tell me there'll be up to 10,000 Irish who are marching against mass immigration.
00:23:10.820 What's so interesting about this movement is how organic and populist it is.
00:23:15.380 The entire political establishment are against these folks.
00:23:18.980 They're for mass immigration.
00:23:20.980 Same thing with the journalistic establishment.
00:23:23.780 They disparage these people, calling them the same names you'd expect, racist, transphobic, whatever.
00:23:29.700 But in fact, what I've discovered over the last year of coming back to Ireland and studying the case is Irish who are concerned about a mass immigration that was never voted for.
00:23:41.780 The Irish never chose this.
00:23:43.300 It was imposed upon Ireland by the NGOs.
00:23:46.580 It was imposed upon this place by business deals, local hoteliers who got million-dollar contracts to house so-called refugees, generally fake refugees.
00:23:56.980 We'll keep marching down the streets, and we'll keep you posted throughout the day.
00:24:01.060 Follow along at MigrantReports.com.
00:24:02.900 Ireland's been destroyed by migration, and we're here to put an end to this.
00:24:16.260 It's absolutely disgraceful.
00:24:17.300 Europe is getting destroyed.
00:24:18.580 Every country in Europe is destroyed.
00:24:20.820 Sweden, Belgium, Germany, everywhere.
00:24:23.300 Terrorist attacks.
00:24:24.500 Irish people can't get homes.
00:24:25.700 They can't get hospital beds.
00:24:26.980 This has to come to an end.
00:24:28.260 They're looking after migrants instead of the Irish.
00:24:31.140 It's disgusting.
00:24:32.180 Today is a big day for Irish people, Irish nationalists.
00:24:36.340 You know, we're here to make a peaceful process.
00:24:38.180 Let's get it out there.
00:24:39.300 Nationalism is not racism.
00:24:41.300 And fair play to every Irish man and Irish woman that's here to stand up for the Irish people.
00:24:46.100 Because look, down the road there, boys, in 1916, boys, the men of Ireland died for the freedom of Ireland.
00:24:51.300 And we're here today, boys, walking their footsteps to bring Ireland back to the way it is, man.
00:24:57.300 Because we're losing our culture, our history.
00:24:58.820 This is not about immigrants.
00:25:00.180 It's not about races.
00:25:01.300 It's about the Irish national people fighting against the government.
00:25:04.740 Kulak is a neighborhood in Dublin where they plan to put in at least 500 military-aged migrant men
00:25:11.540 in a former paint factory, right in the middle of a community.
00:25:15.140 And the locals, you know, tried to shut it down.
00:25:19.060 So the government put up those large concrete blocks.
00:25:21.700 I visited there many times.
00:25:23.460 I thought there was no chance the people would win, but the people won.
00:25:27.140 How did you do it?
00:25:28.260 People power.
00:25:29.780 Not backing down.
00:25:30.740 Keep speaking your truth and stay united.
00:25:33.380 I have to tell you, I never thought you could do it.
00:25:35.940 I thought the government was so invested in having Kulak as a massive plantation.
00:25:41.220 They didn't realize the fight Kulak had in their bellies.
00:25:44.660 I didn't either.
00:25:45.620 And I mean, I was sympathetic, but I thought, I thought this is a doomed mission.
00:25:49.700 We're getting there.
00:25:50.820 Rome wasn't built in a day.
00:25:52.180 We're getting there.
00:25:52.820 It's absolutely f***ing disgraceful.
00:25:54.580 And any man that agrees with this is f***ing stupid.
00:25:57.060 Absolutely weak, feminized, useless fools.
00:26:00.740 But why do they do it?
00:26:01.860 Why?
00:26:02.340 Why are they selling out their own country?
00:26:03.940 I could get into it, but I'm not going to because there's certain things here.
00:26:06.660 A lot of people here would know why.
00:26:08.260 Approximately 10,000 Irish marching through the heart of Dublin, united not by any political
00:26:15.620 party because indeed no political party support them, but united by the idea that Ireland ought
00:26:21.780 to be Irish and that the mass immigration that is de-Irishing the country does not have their approval.
00:26:31.140 There are no establishment politicians who are here, and any establishment media who are here
00:26:36.820 are coming to bury, not to praise.
00:26:39.620 Rebel News is a citizen journalism organization, and so we're here.
00:26:43.780 And I've seen a few other citizen journalists doing the same thing.
00:26:48.180 It'll be interesting to see how much coverage the mainstream media gives to the Antifa protesters
00:26:54.100 who were expected along the way.
00:26:56.420 My guess is if last year is anything to go by, there'll be a few dozen of them,
00:27:00.820 perhaps one-tenth of one percent the size of those against mass immigration.
00:27:05.460 But I bet you the mainstream media will give them loving and lavish coverage.
00:27:09.220 Just as I predicted, there's going to be a few dozen, maybe a hundred Antifa counter protesters,
00:27:17.300 but they're few in number.
00:27:18.900 And unlike the anti-migration protesters, they're funded to be here by NGOs.
00:27:26.260 That is a wall of guard eye, that's what they call the police,
00:27:29.860 separating the protesters from the Antifa.
00:27:33.460 Lincoln, what did I say to you?
00:27:35.140 I said there won't be any Irish flags amongst the counter protesters.
00:27:40.740 And indeed, I cannot see a single Irish flag there.
00:27:45.380 Oh, I see one.
00:27:46.580 I see a single Irish flag.
00:27:48.820 We're moving along, mate.
00:27:49.940 We're moving along.
00:27:50.900 Jesus was a refugee, they say.
00:27:53.220 In fact, he was not.
00:27:54.500 He was going to take a government census.
00:27:57.140 That's why he was on the move.
00:27:58.580 Oh, wouldn't you know it?
00:28:02.900 There it is.
00:28:04.020 There's a hammer and sickle flag.
00:28:06.740 They don't have a lot of Irish flags.
00:28:09.300 But boy, Rebel News is coming along.
00:28:11.940 We're keeping good.
00:28:12.980 I see the trans flag.
00:28:16.260 I see the Antifa flag.
00:28:19.140 I see the hammer and sickle flag.
00:28:22.020 I see a couple more Palestinian flags.
00:28:24.740 I've seen two Irish flags.
00:28:26.740 I've seen the hammer and sickle.
00:28:28.580 And I've seen about five Hamas Palestinian flags.
00:28:31.940 That tells you all you need to know.
00:28:33.540 Do you see that says Sinn Fein stand against racism?
00:28:38.020 What's so interesting is Sinn Fein is a nationalist party.
00:28:42.260 They're the party that in the past was politically linked to the IRA,
00:28:49.060 which believed in kicking out the Irish.
00:28:51.300 I do not understand and I cannot understand how the political party Sinn Fein can be for open borders now.
00:29:00.980 We've obviously just passed by all the paid agitators there from the government NGOs.
00:29:04.740 I know you have this problem in the US and Canada as well.
00:29:08.100 We're just here to represent our country.
00:29:10.260 And this protest is not against immigrants.
00:29:12.100 You know, if I was from another country and I saw a golden basket of eggs in a country like Ireland,
00:29:18.420 I'd come here too, you know.
00:29:19.460 But we're here to represent the Irish people.
00:29:22.660 You need to look after the Irish people first.
00:29:24.420 They died for your freedom.
00:29:26.180 Don't throw it away.
00:29:27.300 Why are nationalists like Sinn Fein for open borders today?
00:29:31.140 I don't understand.
00:29:31.940 Well, Sinn Fein spent 30 years fighting to get the British out of Ireland.
00:29:36.100 So why are they letting everyone else in?
00:29:38.100 Well, I don't know. You'll have to ask Sinn Fein that.
00:29:40.820 We're at the official front of the parade.
00:29:43.460 There are some folks up ahead, but the Irish Piper is setting the tone.
00:29:48.500 I see some cameras here that look like from the mainstream media.
00:29:52.740 It'll be interesting to compare how they cover this to how we cover it.
00:29:57.940 The government here, like many Western governments, only speak to, only listen to the NGOs.
00:30:04.020 They don't listen to the people and the NGOs who are all woke liberals.
00:30:07.860 And you'll be surprised to know that in this small country of five and a half million people,
00:30:11.780 we spend 6.5 billion on NGOs and we have 33,000 of them.
00:30:16.100 And if you look at the counter protest down at the GPO by people with pink hair,
00:30:20.260 there are some of them going past now, with pink hair,
00:30:22.900 who led by a man who doesn't know whether he's a young child, born a couple of years ago,
00:30:26.980 is a boy or a girl.
00:30:28.420 Well, would you look at that?
00:30:31.380 In the heart of a city, which you might normally consider to be a left-wing place,
00:30:36.660 people are leaning out of their windows, flying the Irish flag.
00:30:40.180 And I should tell you that flying the Irish flag is a very political move, just like...
00:30:45.380 Ireland is for the Irish.
00:30:47.060 This government doesn't care for our own people.
00:30:49.700 They care for the other people.
00:30:51.060 And why do they do that?
00:30:52.340 I don't understand.
00:30:53.380 See, the people at the top don't understand what the people at the bottom feel.
00:30:58.180 Because they're treated like bottom feeders.
00:31:00.180 But tell me why.
00:31:01.220 That's what I can't figure out.
00:31:02.900 Why are they doing that?
00:31:03.860 Why would you declare war on your own people?
00:31:06.020 Why would they let unvetted males into the country?
00:31:08.820 No, I'm trying to figure out why.
00:31:10.580 Why would they not house their own people?
00:31:12.820 How old are you?
00:31:13.700 Nineteen.
00:31:14.660 I'm trying to set up a business here in New Ireland.
00:31:16.420 There's nothing going for me.
00:31:17.940 I can't even claim to let...
00:31:18.980 I can't do nothing.
00:31:19.700 There's nothing here for me.
00:31:21.140 I don't know if you can hear me over the noise of the crowd.
00:31:28.740 I am standing in the heart of Dublin.
00:31:31.060 We're literally right at the front, where in a number of minutes,
00:31:36.580 a variety of speakers will address the crowd.
00:31:39.940 People are struggling with the bills, the rents, the mortgages.
00:31:44.420 People can't get boy in this country anymore.
00:31:47.540 And we've had enough of it.
00:31:48.980 And the people in Leicester House are just not listening.
00:31:51.940 What's our vision for Ireland?
00:31:53.940 It's an Ireland being born, an Ireland united, and an Ireland that is free.
00:31:57.540 So how many migrants have been put in your town?
00:32:02.020 In my town, there's a lot now.
00:32:04.020 The numbers seem to be suppressed in every town.
00:32:06.900 And you'll never know the true figure.
00:32:08.740 But just even taking a walk out around the town.
00:32:10.900 So they're put in rental housing.
00:32:13.140 I know that they're put in hotels quite often.
00:32:15.060 Yes.
00:32:15.380 Are they put in rental housing?
00:32:16.500 Yes.
00:32:16.740 So in my town, there's about three or four hotels.
00:32:19.540 And at the moment now, we've only one.
00:32:21.700 With the last two or three years, we've only one hotel.
00:32:24.100 And at that, that's majorly overpriced.
00:32:26.100 But then on the rental side of things as well, the prices of rent,
00:32:30.180 to rent accommodation are up through the roof.
00:32:32.740 Give me an update on how today went from your point of view.
00:32:36.580 Absolutely amazing.
00:32:37.780 You see, there was thousands upon thousands of people here today.
00:32:40.820 And he came out in commederation in the 1916 Heard House
00:32:44.580 and to let people know how upset they are with the way our country is being ran.
00:32:49.540 And the Irish people have had enough.
00:32:51.620 You know, we've too many people on hospital trolleys waiting to see people.
00:32:55.220 We've kids that can't get special needs school places.
00:32:58.100 We've families in emergency accommodation.
00:33:00.580 Like, so the people are out to let that be heard.
00:33:03.540 It's time to look after our own people, Ezra.
00:33:05.620 The fact of the matter is we've took in thousands upon thousands of immigrants,
00:33:10.500 mainly illegal, a lot of illegal immigrants.
00:33:12.900 And we don't have the resources to look after them.
00:33:15.060 Oh, Francis must be looking down on us today and gave us the good weather
00:33:18.340 because it's been raining here all week.
00:33:19.860 And, you know, I think today exceeded our greatest expectations.
00:33:25.060 We had a very totally peaceful rally, no arrests, no violence.
00:33:29.300 We could have done with a better sound system.
00:33:30.900 But apart from that, you know, it was perfect.
00:33:33.220 I don't know if we'll ever know the actual turnout because the mainstream media despises these people
00:33:38.740 and they'll do their best to call it a small crowd.
00:33:41.460 It wouldn't surprise me if RTE, that's the state broadcaster here in Ireland,
00:33:45.780 says it was hundreds of people.
00:33:47.620 I can assure you it was much more than that.
00:33:49.300 Everyone here was from different walks of life.
00:33:51.380 Many people had driven in from all over Ireland.
00:33:54.820 They told me some of the faraway counties from which they came.
00:33:58.580 A number of people said it was the first or the second time they had ever come to a political event.
00:34:03.700 Whereas that Rent-A-Mob Antifa protesters, you can just tell that they just show up
00:34:08.420 and are given the placard of the day.
00:34:10.740 They didn't really know why they were there.
00:34:12.340 I enjoyed the visit and we were able to jam this in as we were coming home from the Isle of Man.
00:34:17.220 As you know, we were there yesterday doing an investigation into Mark Carney's tax evasion.
00:34:22.660 So you have to go through Dublin to get to the Isle of Man.
00:34:25.460 So we're on our way home.
00:34:26.900 We'll be home in a number of hours.
00:34:29.300 But it's a delight to see how Rebel News is received here, too.
00:34:33.540 This is the second march we've been to in Dublin and we've been to other places.
00:34:37.380 Sometimes people say, Ezra, why do you go to Ireland?
00:34:39.700 Why do you go to the UK?
00:34:40.580 Why are you interested in those things?
00:34:42.340 Well, I'm interested in the world.
00:34:44.180 But I also see how immigration is being done in the UK, in Ireland, in France, in the Netherlands.
00:34:52.100 And I see in Ireland the best and the worst of it.
00:34:55.860 In Ireland, the government has an outrageous approach that the patriotic side nicknames plantations,
00:35:02.100 where they suddenly dump hundreds or thousands even of migrants in a neighborhood, completely overwhelming it,
00:35:07.780 with no legal or political process whatsoever.
00:35:09.940 I told you the story of the little village of Dundrum, which is 200 Irish citizens.
00:35:14.260 And then suddenly 240 military-aged migrant men were dumped in the town,
00:35:19.300 immediately rendering the Irish a minority in their own village.
00:35:23.060 None of that with the approval or even the information of the locals.
00:35:27.140 It's such an astonishing, abusive approach to immigration.
00:35:31.140 That's extreme.
00:35:32.340 But on the other side, I haven't seen this kind of peaceful political pushback anywhere else in the world either.
00:35:40.100 If you think our journalism was valuable, please go to migrantreports.com and chip in a few euros or dollars, whatever you have.
00:35:48.420 As you know, unlike RTE and unlike CBC, we get no government money.
00:35:52.820 So we rely on the crowdfunding support of our viewers.
00:35:56.260 Until next time, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel News, goodbye and keep fighting for freedom.
00:36:01.540 I'm in Ireland covering the massive march against mass immigration.
00:36:07.860 For all of my updates and reports, go to migrantreports.com.
