Summary

Rebel News has been fighting for years to get a new journalism license from the Canadian Revenue Agency. The CRA has twice rejected our application for a license, and we asked the Supreme Court of Canada to review it. Today, we're outside the federal courthouse in downtown Toronto.

00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. I am actually outside the federal courthouse in downtown Toronto.
00:00:05.220 Today, a hearing over whether or not Trudeau has the right to determine who is or isn't a journalist in this country
00:00:12.040 and if he can give or withhold a journalism license.
00:00:16.800 We're alone in the court, but we won't be alone if we have you.
00:00:20.120 Listen, I'd love you to see the video of this show.
00:00:23.300 Just go to rebelnewsplus.com, click subscribe.
00:00:25.880 And it's eight bucks a month, but we use that to pay the bills around here
00:00:30.580 because we don't take any money from Trudeau.
00:00:32.820 And it shows, which is why he's trying to ban us.
00:00:35.780 All right, here's today's podcast.
00:00:40.340 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:00:52.020 Well, I just got out of the court behind me.
00:00:54.660 Instead of a full day, it was a four-hour hearing, technically called a judicial review.
00:01:01.320 That is, the Canada Revenue Agency twice rejected Rebel News' application for this QCJO news license,
00:01:09.460 and we asked the court to review it.
00:01:12.960 Now, whenever a court reviews an expert panel and a tax panel, a journalism panel,
00:01:18.520 these are granted some deference.
00:01:20.860 You don't want the courts to overturn everything.
00:01:22.740 The standard of review is often reasonableness.
00:01:27.600 There's other standards like correctness and, you know,
00:01:31.340 how much wiggle room will the court give the lower decision maker?
00:01:37.500 And in this case, it seemed like the standard was reasonableness,
00:01:41.440 as in were they, they could be wrong but reasonable, you know what I mean?
00:01:45.440 But our lawyers, Robert Hawks and Sarah Miller, I think were very strong at pointing out to the judge
00:01:52.580 that the way the CRA handled this was completely unreasonable,
00:01:57.240 claiming that only one or two percent of our work was actual journalism.
00:02:02.480 Let me give you an example of how they excluded our journalism, saying it wasn't real journalism.
00:02:07.940 As you know, we sometimes interview people.
00:02:10.940 I interview people on my show.
00:02:12.940 We interview people on the street.
00:02:14.940 Sometimes we interview sort of big shots on location.
00:02:17.940 You might even remember I flew all the way to the Netherlands to interview Geert Wilders.
00:02:22.940 So we do a fair bit of interviews. It's not our primary thing.
00:02:26.940 Well, for some weird reason, all of our interviews were declared not original news content.
00:02:33.940 Are you kidding me?
00:02:35.940 Speaking of Geert Wilders, I was actually the first foreign journalist in the world
00:02:40.940 to interview him after that groundbreaking election.
00:02:43.940 That is, by definition, news in every sense of the word.
00:02:47.940 But Trudeau's handpicked journalism advisory panel said,
00:02:51.940 no, that doesn't fall within the rules. That's not real journalism.
00:02:54.940 And that's how they got the ridiculous number of one or two percent of our stuff being journalism.
00:03:00.940 That's obviously an error.
00:03:02.940 That one decision alone to say that none of our interviews are news is so bizarre and laughable.
00:03:09.940 Well, laughable is the wrong word. It's kept us out of this news license for years.
00:03:14.940 It was interesting. There was some good discussion in the court about freedom of the press.
00:03:19.940 And our lawyer, in this case, Robert Hawkes, we had two lawyers in there.
00:03:22.940 Hawkes was talking about how Trudeau has had a vendetta against Rebel News
00:03:27.940 and spent a fair bit of time in the two victorious court cases we had in the same building, by the way,
00:03:33.940 the same federal court, when Trudeau's handpicked henchmen kept us out of the leaders debate.
00:03:38.940 They were using the exact same ideas then.
00:03:41.940 Oh, you're not real journalists. You engage in advocacy. You engage in opinion journalism. You crowdfund for things.
00:03:49.940 Each of those criticisms was treated by the court when they tried to ban us from the leaders debates.
00:03:56.940 And in both cases, in 2019 and 2021, the judges weren't having it.
00:04:01.940 One of the reasons was we were able to show that many journalistic organizations in Canada do those things.
00:04:07.940 Advocacy. Have you ever seen a newspaper that doesn't have an editorial and comment section?
00:04:13.940 What's that? But a fancy word for saying advocacy.
00:04:17.940 And although it's not common, it is not unusual to see newspapers crowdfund, even the CBC.
00:04:23.940 They'll say, here's a story on these wildfires. Here's how you could chip into the Red Cross.
00:04:28.940 By the way, we did that exact same thing with the Fort McMurray wildfires. Use the Red Cross.
00:04:33.940 So although the CRA hates us with a red hot burning fire, judges who were not in the same,
00:04:42.940 weren't handpicked by Trudeau for the mission of blocking us.
00:04:46.940 I'm hoping, I'm thinking that they'll find this whole thing a little bit weird.
00:04:49.940 Like it's a little bit weird, the amount of time and effort and money that Trudeau is putting into calling us not real journalists.
00:04:57.940 It's sort of crazy.
00:04:58.940 I won't call it a media organization. Your group of individuals need to take accountability.
00:05:05.940 There were a few strategic decisions that our lawyers made that came out during this process.
00:05:10.940 And it was certain things that we chose to argue or not to argue.
00:05:14.940 And I won't get into the legal minutiae.
00:05:16.940 But one of the outcomes we did not want is to be sent back to the CRA for another internal review.
00:05:24.940 What I mean by that is we applied to the CRA for this news license and we were rejected.
00:05:30.940 So we reapplied and we were rejected.
00:05:33.940 We don't want the court to say, well, they had some procedural screw ups, do it a third time.
00:05:39.940 Because I can tell you right now, they're going to reject us as long as Trudeau's henchmen are in there.
00:05:43.940 We want the court here to say, no, you guys have shown that you're not reasonable.
00:05:49.940 Rebel News is obviously journalists.
00:05:51.940 I mean, literally, what do they think we're doing all day?
00:05:54.940 We have at this moment in time about 41 staff at Rebel News.
00:05:58.940 If we're not doing journalism, what on earth are we doing?
00:06:02.940 We're not covering sports. We're not covering, you know, human interest stories.
00:06:06.940 It's absolutely nuts to me.
00:06:08.940 Listen, I am a tiny bit hopeful.
00:06:13.940 I mean, it's always a long shot when you're doing a judicial review.
00:06:16.940 Because like I say, the courts allow decision makers to be wrong.
00:06:22.940 They just have to be wrong in a reasonable way.
00:06:25.940 So we have actually a pretty high burden that we have to overcome.
00:06:29.940 But I'm a little bit optimistic because I think the judge is fair or fair enough.
00:06:34.940 I think the government lawyers were not particularly the sharpest knives in the drawer, no offense.
00:06:40.940 And I think our lawyers were great.
00:06:42.940 But more importantly than the people involved are the facts and the law.
00:06:47.940 It is an obvious fact that Rebel News produces news.
00:06:50.940 It's in our name.
00:06:51.940 And you don't have to trust me. You can see for yourselves.
00:06:54.940 Certainly other media consider us news.
00:06:57.940 They hate us because we disagree with them.
00:06:59.940 But that doesn't mean we're not news.
00:07:01.940 I think the facts and the law are on our side.
00:07:04.940 And I think that any fair judge would see that.
00:07:07.940 And I'm hoping that the fact that the whole world has fallen out of love with Justin Trudeau,
00:07:12.940 including here in downtown Toronto,
00:07:14.940 will mean that even Toronto judges in the federal court
00:07:18.940 are a little bit sick of Trudeau weaponizing the entire bureaucracy to scratch his own itches.
00:07:24.940 I sure hope so.
00:07:25.940 Listen, I have not seen the legal bill we're going to get for today.
00:07:28.940 Like I said, we had two excellent lawyers in there.
00:07:31.940 I'm not going to tell you how much they are per hour, but it's a lot of money.
00:07:34.940 Trudeau, on the other hand, used tax dollars to pay for his lawyers.
00:07:38.940 Obviously, they're from the Attorney General's office.
00:07:41.940 If you can help me cover the bill today alone, I don't even want to.
00:07:45.940 There's just no way today was less than $20,000.
00:07:48.940 There's just no way.
00:07:50.940 Please go to WeAreSuingTrudeau.com.
00:07:54.940 And let me close on that note.
00:07:56.940 We are suing Trudeau.
00:07:57.940 We were in a court that had 60, occupancy 60, 6-0.
00:08:02.940 There were rows of chairs.
00:08:04.940 I was the only guy in there.
00:08:06.940 There were our lawyers and the Justice Department lawyers.
00:08:09.940 There were two clerks and there was a judge.
00:08:11.940 And it was a big, beautiful courtroom.
00:08:13.940 Right downtown Toronto.
00:08:14.940 Easy to get to.
00:08:15.940 Subway line here, everything.
00:08:17.940 I was alone.
00:08:19.940 No one else was there.
00:08:21.940 No one else cared.
00:08:22.940 And by no one, I mean no.
00:08:24.940 Hey, thanks very much.
00:08:26.940 Look at that.
00:08:27.940 That's friendly, eh?
00:08:28.940 No one else was in there.
00:08:30.940 No other journalistic groups, no other media companies saying,
00:08:33.940 look, we might not like the cut of Rebel's jib.
00:08:36.940 But if they can be banned today, we can be banned tomorrow.
00:08:39.940 If the government can tell us who's a journalist,
00:08:42.940 in the case of Rebel News,
00:08:43.940 they can tell us who's a journalist of the Globe and Mail,
00:08:45.940 the National Post, or the Toronto Sun.
00:08:47.940 Why were they not there?
00:08:49.940 I remember when I was a young man in law school,
00:08:52.940 reading these great cases about freedom of the press.
00:08:55.940 I think I told you this story before.
00:08:57.940 That all the media companies would get together
00:09:00.940 and each one would chip in like a thousand bucks.
00:09:02.940 So you had Global News and CTV and the CBC even
00:09:06.940 and Toronto Star and everyone would chip in a thousand bucks
00:09:12.940 and they'd get like 20 grand.
00:09:14.940 And they'd hire an excellent, excellent, excellent free speech lawyer.
00:09:19.940 And that free speech lawyer would go and seek intervener status
00:09:23.940 and say, Your Honor, we're here on behalf of all these TV stations,
00:09:26.940 radio stations, newspapers,
00:09:28.940 and we're here to make the case for freedom of the press.
00:09:31.940 And it did two things.
00:09:33.940 First of all, it said to the judge,
00:09:35.940 This is a big case you're dealing with.
00:09:37.940 It might have one person's name on it,
00:09:39.940 but it affects freedom for everyone.
00:09:41.940 So the judge would pay attention and say,
00:09:43.940 Oh, there's a lot of people whose situation depends on this.
00:09:47.940 And second of all,
00:09:49.940 When you've got 20 people hiring a lawyer together,
00:09:51.940 it spreads the pain around.
00:09:53.940 Don't tell me the star, the sun, the post can't afford to chip in a thousand bucks each
00:09:57.940 to get a great lawyer.
00:09:59.940 So it would make sure that all the arguments were fully exercised.
00:10:02.940 And it would make sure the judge knew that this was an important case.
00:10:05.940 Whatever happened to that?
00:10:06.940 That used to happen all the time.
00:10:08.940 It has never happened in the cases we're fighting.
00:10:13.940 I was in the same building fighting for my rights for the book The Libranos.
00:10:17.940 I was alone.
00:10:18.940 I was in there today fighting for Rebel News.
00:10:20.940 I was alone.
00:10:21.940 And I think Canada is weaker in terms of civil society.
00:10:25.940 And maybe they don't like me and maybe they don't like Rebel News.
00:10:29.940 And that's fine.
00:10:30.940 That's fair.
00:10:31.940 But what's that got to do with the precedent?
00:10:33.940 See, an important thing is going to come from this court case one way or another.
00:10:38.940 If Rebel News wins,
00:10:40.940 hopefully we demolish Trudeau's censorship regime for journalists.
00:10:45.940 That's an enormous win for the whole country and for ordinary people, not just journalists.
00:10:50.940 But God forbid if we lose,
00:10:52.940 what a terrible precedent that sets on the other side.
00:10:55.940 Don't you think a lot turns on this?
00:10:57.940 I sure do.
00:10:58.940 I always tell our team that we do two special things that other conservative media don't.
00:11:03.940 We're on the ground with cameras showing you what's really happening.
00:11:07.940 We're on the scene, not just in Canada, but sometimes even overseas.
00:11:10.940 We go to where it happens.
00:11:13.940 That's one of the things that makes us different.
00:11:15.940 We're not just giving our opinion in front of a studio.
00:11:18.940 But the second thing we do is every now and then we stop and we fight.
00:11:23.940 Every now and then we stop and we try and make a difference because no one else will.
00:11:28.940 We fill the gap.
00:11:29.940 Hey, can you help me on this one?
00:11:31.940 Chip in a few bucks if you can to WeAreSuingTrudeau.com.
00:11:35.940 All right, coming up next, speaking of being on the ground, our newest journalist Sarah Stock was in Detroit over the weekend.
00:11:44.940 What was she doing in Detroit?
00:11:46.940 Well, there was a meeting of American conservatives called Turning Point USA.
00:11:52.940 Donald Trump even spoke at it.
00:11:54.940 So without further ado, here's Sarah Stock with her reports from that Detroit conference.
00:12:00.940 Sarah Stock for Rebel News.
00:12:05.940 We're here on the ground in Detroit, Michigan for Turning Point Action's annual People Convention.
00:12:11.940 And guess what?
00:12:12.940 We just had a surprise appearance from Alex Jones, who currently is facing a lot of attacks from the deep state with law affairs similar to that of Donald Trump.
00:12:20.940 But Alex Jones had a lot of predictions to make for this coming election and even made a claim that there is going to be an organized globalist sponsored type race war following a reelection of Donald Trump.
00:12:36.940 I love that because what you're doing is you're knighting all of humanity.
00:12:39.940 They are the unhumans.
00:12:42.940 They are unhumans because that is what they do.
00:12:45.940 They want to they want to unhuman us.
00:12:48.940 They want to rob us of our liberty.
00:12:50.940 They want to rob us of our identity, of our culture, of our language, of our faith, everything that makes us actual spiritual connected beings in this world.
00:12:59.940 They want us atomized.
00:13:00.940 They want it to be insectoids.
00:13:01.940 They want us to eat the insectoids.
00:13:02.940 They want to slip.
00:13:03.940 Will you eat the bugs?
00:13:04.940 No.
00:13:05.940 Will you live in the pod?
00:13:07.940 No.
00:13:08.940 Absolutely.
00:13:10.940 And now the battle lines are being drawn.
00:13:12.940 Are you going to let them turn the frogs gay?
00:13:15.940 No.
00:13:16.940 Are you going to let them brainwash and take your children?
00:13:19.940 No.
00:13:21.940 And that's what this is about.
00:13:23.940 We are pro-human, old, young, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, everybody that has red blood, that loves God and wants a pro-human future.
00:13:32.940 And as long as we get that message out and as long as we don't support the globalists and all these anti-human systems they're putting out, we are going to win.
00:13:41.940 And when we take back America, we're going to start the project to take back the world, not through force, but through intellectual and spiritual power under Christ, under God.
00:13:51.940 And we are going to launch the next project of 1776 worldwide, 1776 worldwide human liberty in a declaration against tyranny.
00:14:07.940 And you quoted me earlier and it's a powerful saying, I was covering Bilderberg.
00:14:10.940 Let's see what people have to say about his surprise appearance and what they think of these claims.
00:14:15.940 So did you see Alex Jones here today?
00:14:17.940 I did see Alex Jones.
00:14:18.940 In fact, I was just backstage with him and Jack and got to say thanks to him for doing what he's doing and continuing to push and get the message out there.
00:14:26.940 Alex, what's the latest on this law affair that you've been facing from the deep state?
00:14:30.940 Well, the CIA and the FBI, they've run it all.
00:14:33.940 It's all come out in court.
00:14:34.940 And they tried to overthrow my company, but the federal judge discovered it and fired them last Thursday, no, last Friday now, just a couple days ago.
00:14:44.940 So we're still holding on now, but it only makes the show bigger.
00:14:47.940 And even if they shut down Infowars, I'll just continue on.
00:14:49.940 So what do you make?
00:14:50.940 It seems like there's a lot of lawfare being weaponized right now.
00:14:53.940 We see Alex Jones, Donald Trump, Steve Bannon.
00:14:56.940 What do you make of this?
00:14:57.940 Is this a concerted effort, do you think?
00:14:59.940 Well, this is a system response.
00:15:01.940 So we have the new book on humans and we talk about how communism always uses the tools of the state and instruments of power
00:15:09.940 under what they call, they claim to be the color of law, to go after their opponents.
00:15:14.940 And they've done this since the people's tribunals and people's communes of the French Revolution and the Jacobins.
00:15:20.940 They always claim there's an indictment and there's been a conviction and there's been a claim and the people's claim and the people's courts and all of this.
00:15:27.940 And so this has always been a tool that is used in the communist system.
00:15:32.940 And what we do and on humans is actually unpack that system time and time, place and place, region and region,
00:15:38.940 and explain that while the names may change, the words may change.
00:15:42.940 Sometimes they call themselves the Jacobins.
00:15:44.940 Sometimes it's the Bolsheviks, the Mensheviks, the Chinese Communist Party, the Khmer Rouge.
00:15:49.940 The names change, the tactics change, but the system is always exactly the same.
00:15:55.940 So what we say is, to approach communism, don't listen to what they say.
00:16:00.940 Look at what they do.
00:16:01.940 And they always do the same things.
00:16:03.940 Who do they target?
00:16:04.940 The religious.
00:16:05.940 Then they target the freedom fighters.
00:16:06.940 Then they target anyone who opposes the revolution.
00:16:09.940 All of them will be completely liquidated.
00:16:12.940 And oh, by the way, anyone who, for lack of a better term, builds things in the real world.
00:16:18.940 So small business owners in Russia, they were called the kulaks.
00:16:21.940 They've been called the petty bourgeoisie in some places.
00:16:24.940 And so we know that those are the people who are initially targeted time and time again.
00:16:29.940 And so when we see them going after Donald Trump, not just as a leader of the opposition,
00:16:33.940 but also a successful New York real estate mogul,
00:16:36.940 that this is exactly in line with the system that they've been using for hundreds of years.
00:16:41.940 And one more question.
00:16:43.940 Have you been keeping up with what's been going on with Europe with the rise of right-wing populism?
00:16:47.940 Oh, I love it. I love it.
00:16:48.940 What do you think about that?
00:16:49.940 I love it.
00:16:50.940 No, I absolutely love it.
00:16:51.940 And I've seen, look, you've got Nigel Farage and the Reform Party are on the way up.
00:16:55.940 You see the Conservatives, the Tories to zero.
00:16:58.940 To zero.
00:16:59.940 Zero seats.
00:17:00.940 Zero seats for the Tories.
00:17:03.940 Then you've got in Poland, in Germany, in Austria, and then, of course, France.
00:17:09.940 And then everything that we see in France, the Netherlands.
00:17:12.940 It's just country after country after country.
00:17:14.940 And, of course, my heart goes out to the brave patriots of Vox in Spain, where we just were.
00:17:20.940 This is a right-wing revolution.
00:17:23.940 It's also a youth revolution, because you really see so much of the youth vote saying that they want to throw off this establishment, Brussels-driven, cultural, technocratic Marxism
00:17:36.940 and actually embrace true freedom, true culture, true identity, let countries be and nations be the way that they were, and also, by the way, predicated on a backlash to mass migration.
00:17:51.940 And what do you think is the main driving force that is waking people up to this?
00:17:56.940 Why are people finally voting in these policies now?
00:18:01.940 So I think people, look, I think generally people have compassion, especially Europeans and especially Americans, very compassionate people.
00:18:10.940 And so you get this sense of we have to help the world, we have to help others.
00:18:17.940 And the liberal and the leftist play on those emotions and play on those compassions.
00:18:21.940 They say, well, don't you want to be a good Christian?
00:18:23.940 Don't you want to be religious?
00:18:24.940 Don't you want to follow God's orders?
00:18:25.940 Don't you want to help those in need?
00:18:27.940 Help those in need?
00:18:28.940 But eventually they realize that at some point it's not help.
00:18:32.940 It's theft.
00:18:33.940 It's taking from others, taking things that others have built and putting in their own pocket, taking the sucker of the land, taking the resources of the land, giving it to their people.
00:18:44.940 And, oh, by the way, selling it back to home countries.
00:18:46.940 And so once they realize that it's gotten the problem essentially has gotten so big in particularly the West.
00:18:53.940 We see it in the UK.
00:18:54.940 We see it in North America that the problem of mass migration has spilled over into the millions and millions.
00:18:59.940 And finally people are waking up and saying, you know what?
00:19:02.940 These are our countries, Ireland.
00:19:04.940 We want them to be the way they were.
00:19:07.940 We have compassion, but our compassion has limits.
00:19:10.940 Yeah, I can definitely see that.
00:19:12.940 And, okay, so we saw on stage Alex Jones is making his predictions for November.
00:19:17.940 He's saying Donald Trump, he thinks Donald Trump is going to win.
00:19:20.940 Do you share that same prediction?
00:19:21.940 Well, I think if it's a fair fight, Trump wins in a landslide.
00:19:24.940 There's no question.
00:19:25.940 But I say that it's 50-50 because we all know it's not going to be a fair fight.
00:19:29.940 And I think we need to watch these elections like a hawk, but also patriots and everyone in America with the sound of my voice.
00:19:35.940 If you are part of the patriot movement, you have to understand.
00:19:37.940 It's go out to the people that don't normally vote.
00:19:41.940 Go out to find new voters.
00:19:43.940 And so we're telling people 10x your vote.
00:19:46.940 You know, taking the old Grant Cardone line, 10x your business.
00:19:49.940 10x your vote by going to 10 people who are either unregistered or they're people that are just not participating, already engaged in the political process.
00:19:56.940 Get them engaged.
00:19:58.940 Because we've already got us.
00:19:59.940 We've got to go get more.
00:20:01.940 Build this movement.
00:20:02.940 And, by the way, with the plethora of options that are available now for early balloting and ballot drop boxes and mail-in balloting, guess what?
00:20:09.940 Embrace all of it.
00:20:10.940 Bank those ballots.
00:20:12.940 Chase the ballots.
00:20:13.940 If we do that, we will win.
00:20:14.940 And, by the way, not everybody's got, like, a platform or a law firm
00:20:18.940 or, you know, Elon Musk and can just go buy X and do whatever you want with all the money.
00:20:23.940 But what I would say is, you know what you do have?
00:20:26.940 You got a backyard.
00:20:27.940 You got a house.
00:20:28.940 You got a community center.
00:20:29.940 Bring people together.
00:20:31.940 Throw a 4th of July barbecue.
00:20:33.940 Go and do something in your community that just brings people in around America.
00:20:37.940 And then when people reveal to you that they might be interested in Trump, then you start bringing them in through that.
00:20:44.940 Who do you think is a worse leader, Justin Trudeau or Joe Biden?
00:20:47.940 Ooh, that's a hard one.
00:20:51.940 I have to say Joe Biden because I'm actually part Canadian.
00:20:54.940 And Canada has had these policies for a while.
00:21:00.940 I know Trudeau's father was a little bit more loved than Mr. Justin Trudeau, but the policies in Canada have existed as they are for a while.
00:21:10.940 And I think Canadians are used to it.
00:21:12.940 America has not.
00:21:14.940 And America does not thrive under these, you know, draconian policies and dictatorship.
00:21:21.940 And I think Joe Biden has destroyed America.
00:21:24.940 And four years ago, Americans were doing well.
00:21:27.940 They were doing well with their wallets.
00:21:30.940 They were doing well on a global scale.
00:21:32.940 People actually feared us on a national scale.
00:21:35.940 So I would have to say Joe Biden in my long answer.
00:21:38.940 That's a great answer.
00:21:39.940 Donald Trump in prison?
00:21:40.940 I don't think they should be able to.
00:21:42.940 I think they're going to try.
00:21:43.940 I mean, these people are going to stop at nothing.
00:21:45.940 They've made that clear.
00:21:46.940 Me, faith in the country is, you know, people have been lied to for a long time.
00:21:49.940 They're not being lied to anymore.
00:21:50.940 So that's what I hope for.
00:21:52.940 Who do you think is a worse leader?
00:21:54.940 Justin Trudeau or Joe Biden?
00:21:57.940 Joe.
00:21:58.940 He going to fall asleep on us like always.
00:22:00.940 Yeah, falling asleep is the worst thing you can do, definitely.
00:22:03.940 It's got to be Joe Biden.
00:22:04.940 I don't even think he's running the show.
00:22:06.940 I think he's just a puppet.
00:22:07.940 He can't even form a sentence.
00:22:10.940 Justin Trudeau, though, we don't even have any guns up there.
00:22:12.940 He's trying to disarm the people up there.
00:22:14.940 They got bigger fish to fry up there, but we got to get this old man up out of our house.
00:22:18.940 Well, at least he ain't falling asleep.
00:22:20.940 That's my problem in the press conference.
00:22:22.940 Joe has to be the worst.
00:22:25.940 He has to be.
00:22:26.940 What do you think?
00:22:27.940 About Joe Biden?
00:22:28.940 Who's the worst leader?
00:22:29.940 Justin Trudeau or Joe Biden?
00:22:30.940 Which one's worse?
00:22:31.940 Man, it got to be Joe because he got the most power.
00:22:33.940 He's the president.
00:22:34.940 And then I feel like a lot of stuff we did was, like, leaving all the military stuff in,
00:22:39.940 you know, the Middle East and all that.
00:22:41.940 And then he'll sit and try to, like, paint Trump or other people out as a bad guy when
00:22:45.940 he's turning around and doing stuff that's just as bad.
00:22:47.940 I think that's very hypocritical.
00:22:48.940 I think that's bad for America.
00:22:50.940 And the fact that 70% of America said that he needs to be drug tested before a debate shows
00:22:56.940 that, like, how could y'all vote for a man that you think can't even go debate sober?
00:23:01.940 Like, that doesn't make sense to me.
00:23:03.940 Yeah.
00:23:04.940 I just think, like, if you allow the border to be open and you want to take away the gun,
00:23:08.940 I feel like that's just the worst you can do, really.
00:23:11.940 Men's and women's sports.
00:23:13.940 Men's and women's sports.
00:23:14.940 It's a whole bunch of stuff that just is not safe to me.
00:23:18.940 Yeah.
00:23:19.940 You think he's going to get out of office in November?
00:23:21.940 Think Trump's going to take over?
00:23:22.940 I don't see how he wins.
00:23:23.940 Lower to William.
00:23:24.940 Unless they pull another trick like the last one.
00:23:26.940 Unless they got another trick up their sleeve.
00:23:27.940 It's got to be too big to break.
00:23:29.940 Yeah.
00:23:30.940 It's over with.
00:23:31.940 They're not winning.
00:23:32.940 There's no way.
00:23:33.940 There's no way.
00:23:34.940 In my opinion.
00:23:35.940 I talked to someone earlier and they said it's a way.
00:23:37.940 Really?
00:23:38.940 It's possible.
00:23:39.940 Not a legal way.
00:23:40.940 A lot of states are putting in new legislation to legitimize voting.
00:23:45.940 Like, no illegal voting.
00:23:47.940 Got to have IDs.
00:23:48.940 All these things in place.
00:23:49.940 So, I think states are waking up to the bullshit, too.
00:23:52.940 Oops.
00:23:53.940 Sorry.
00:23:54.940 I'm sorry, y'all.
00:23:55.940 I'm sorry.
00:23:56.940 Do you think California is going to require ID?
00:23:58.940 Do you see that happening?
00:23:59.940 That's a great question.
00:24:00.940 I think they're going to try to find a way around it.
00:24:02.940 They're going to try to fight tooth and nail.
00:24:04.940 Oh, it's racist.
00:24:05.940 Oh, yeah.
00:24:06.940 All right.
00:24:07.940 Yeah.
00:24:08.940 We're not going for it.
00:24:09.940 Do you think black people know how to get IDs?
00:24:11.940 Yeah.
00:24:12.940 Yes.
00:24:13.940 Every black person I know has an ID.
00:24:15.940 And if they knew that people thought they were too dumb to get IDs, they would be offended.
00:24:20.940 Yeah.
00:24:21.940 I think it's a little bit racist to say black people don't know how to get IDs.
00:24:23.940 That's absolutely insane.
00:24:24.940 I mean, you're completely dumb if you don't know how to get an ID in today's society.
00:24:28.940 It goes to show how low people think of black people if they think that black people can't get IDs or don't know how to get IDs.
00:24:34.940 It's a bigotry of low expectations, right?
00:24:36.940 Right.
00:24:37.940 Okay.
00:24:38.940 So I know there's a lot of controversy on social media, a bit of you going around.
00:24:42.940 So what do you have to say about the free speech right now?
00:24:47.940 Well, I think it's the most important thing that we have right now.
00:24:50.940 It's the first amendment for a reason.
00:24:53.940 You can have all your other amendments, but if you cannot defend them with being able to speak about them, then it's worthless.
00:24:59.940 You know what I mean?
00:25:00.940 We have to be able to say what we're thinking no matter if it's right or wrong.
00:25:04.940 And we can't be afraid to say it.
00:25:05.940 And that's really important in this country.
00:25:07.940 And I think anymore, a lot of people, no matter if you're high, if you have a platform, if you don't, people are scared to say the truth because of what the woke mom is going to do for them.
00:25:17.940 And I get it.
00:25:18.940 It's a legit concern.
00:25:19.940 But if we all collectively stand up, then what are they going to do?
00:25:23.940 Canceling doesn't mean anything.
00:25:24.940 We can't cancel everyone.
00:25:25.940 Exactly.
00:25:26.940 The cancel, it will cancel out canceling.
00:25:29.940 Yeah.
00:25:30.940 Yeah.
00:25:31.940 Did you face a lot of backlash?
00:25:32.940 Definitely a lot.
00:25:33.940 But you know, it's, it's nothing that anyone can go through.
00:25:37.940 It's fine.
00:25:38.940 Like if it happens to you, you'll be fine.
00:25:40.940 You'll get through it.
00:25:41.940 And there's a lot more people that agree with you than the shrill minority that's really loud and trying to destroy your life.
00:25:48.940 Two part question.
00:25:49.940 What's your predictions for November and how can we take America back?
00:25:54.940 Donald Trump is going to beat the socks off of Joe Biden come November.
00:25:57.940 We're going to have one of the greatest victories ever.
00:25:59.940 The way we can get our country back is we need people to not just talk about it, but to be proactive.
00:26:03.940 You got to do something.
00:26:04.940 You can't just talk.
00:26:05.940 You can't just feel, can't get emotional.
00:26:08.940 We have to actually do something, actually go out and vote, actually recruit other people to vote and believe in the values of God, country and not just believe in them, act on them.
00:26:18.940 And we'll win the country back easy.
00:26:20.940 Do you think it's possible for them to lock him up?
00:26:24.940 Yes, probably.
00:26:27.940 I don't know how that'll play out in court.
00:26:29.940 So it's like, unfortunately, you're asking me like the suite of questions in which there are no answers.
00:26:36.940 And I don't, you know, I don't really even have a good speculation, a good sense of it.
00:26:40.940 I think that it's incredibly important that if they do lock him up, that his security is kept good, though.
00:26:45.940 So a lot of people are saying that these Trump convictions are making America reminiscent of a banana republic.
00:26:51.940 Would you agree with that?
00:26:52.940 Yeah.
00:26:53.940 Here's what the 34 nothing.
00:26:54.940 That was a, that was such a blessing.
00:26:56.940 And I'm going to tell you why.
00:26:57.940 If I'd have been working for them as their evil marketer.
00:27:00.940 Right.
00:27:01.940 I would have said, hey, guys, let's go 29 innocent and five guilty.
00:27:06.940 That might be believable.
00:27:07.940 Okay.
00:27:08.940 They went 34, zero.
00:27:10.940 Mathematically, you guys, I want everybody to know this.
00:27:12.940 It's mathematically impossible the time they deliberated to pull out each charge and look at it and say, what do you guys all think?
00:27:19.940 Hey, you can't do it in time.
00:27:20.940 It was impossible.
00:27:21.940 It's a joke.
00:27:22.940 When that came out of there, 34 nothing, I'm doing flipping Democrat rallies around the country.
00:27:27.940 I was just in Chicago where 500 Democrats are in a room that voted for Biden.
00:27:31.940 They're all voting for Donald Trump now.
00:27:33.940 And they get brought up, you know, 34 nothing.
00:27:36.940 They're going, that's a joke, you know.
00:27:38.940 So it helping.
00:27:39.940 And me and the real president, we talk all the time.
00:27:41.940 I said, all these things happening, people are jumping into this bucket of common sense.
00:27:46.940 Once they're in the bucket, there's no reason to leave.
00:27:48.940 Yeah.
00:27:49.940 People's eyes are getting opened like you wouldn't believe.
00:27:51.940 So what brings you out here today?
00:27:53.940 So I'm my name's Sam.
00:27:54.940 I'm a lieutenant or was a lieutenant in the Air Force.
00:27:56.940 So I'm out here telling my story about what the Biden administration did to me.
00:28:00.940 I'm not here to endorse Trump.
00:28:01.940 I'm not here to endorse any candidate.
00:28:02.940 I'm just here to tell my story of what happened in the military.
00:28:05.940 So the story that I'm telling is the vaccine was an unconstitutional, a legal order that was that came down from the Biden administration.
00:28:13.940 And only 3% of the military actually said, no, we're not going to take the vaccine.
00:28:18.940 97% of the military members chose to get the vaccine.
00:28:22.940 And they could have actually disobeyed that order because they did not have the legal rights to push an EUA product on people.
00:28:28.940 So I was actually detained.
00:28:30.940 I had some severe health issues that came after coming out against what was going on.
00:28:36.940 And I honestly believe that there needs to be a restructuring in some of the federal agencies.
00:28:41.940 We need to have the people that stood up, that were in the military, that said, no, we're not going to get this vaccine.
00:28:47.940 If a certain political leader comes back or a political leader comes back, I hope that they utilize those people that actually follow the Constitution of the United States.
00:28:57.940 Because if we don't swear an oath to the Constitution of the United States and uphold it, what are we swearing an oath to?
00:29:03.940 Just to anything? Are we swearing an oath to a presidential leader that's in office right now?
00:29:08.940 No, we swear an oath to the Constitution of the United States.
00:29:11.940 So my encouragement is to get everybody out and start speaking out against all the stuff that's happening.
00:29:16.940 Because right now we're going to lose America. And as America goes, so goes the world.
00:29:21.940 So I'm here with Will Donahue. He's the president of College Republicans of America.
00:29:25.940 Will, could you tell me a little bit about how you've revived College Republicans?
00:29:30.940 Sure. College Republicans collapsed in between 2019 and 2022.
00:29:34.940 And, you know, California and Wisconsin's federations came together in April of last year.
00:29:40.940 And we started with 50 chapters in two states.
00:29:44.940 And we've grown it back up to about 155 in 25 states.
00:29:48.940 We just announced today High School Republicans of America.
00:29:50.940 So we were starting with 15 chapters in seven states, just pilot programs.
00:29:55.940 Really, we just had a great outreach team that was collecting a lot of the chapters that had, you know, fallen apart during the COVID kind of, you know, break off the campus.
00:30:06.940 That was brutal for a lot of our chapters.
00:30:08.940 But, you know, our kids have done a great job.
00:30:11.940 And we're looking forward to continuing to build up our grassroots coalition for President Trump in November.
00:30:17.940 Yeah. And for anyone who hasn't maybe heard of College Republicans of America, could you just give a brief explanation of what that is?
00:30:23.940 Sure. College Republicans is the grassroots fighting force of the Republican Party, and they have been since 1892.
00:30:30.940 So our mission is to train and to give all of our students the resources and opportunities that they need to be successful while they're in school and while they're outside of school,
00:30:40.940 trying to get them jobs when they graduate, put them into legislative or executive roles, but also just business in general, because it's a difficult, difficult job market for conservatives.
00:30:48.940 But, you know, we train them, we give them those resources, and we're the main grassroots youth fighting force.
00:30:56.940 And we're partnered with Turning Point Action on their ballot chasing programs in Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin.
00:31:04.940 That's our show for today.
00:31:06.940 From all of us at Rebel News outside the federal court to you at home, good night and keep fighting for freedom.
00:31:26.940 So we're gonna wait for each other.
