00:01:30.960 our reporters have gone to those more often than I have. David Menzies, for example, including
00:01:35.600 here in Toronto. I did pop by the University of British Columbia encampment, and there was
00:01:40.980 one at McGill. In fact, some Antifa pro-Hamas people attacked our reporter, Alex Lava. You

00:03:11.240 York Centre. Our MP is
00:03:13.240 Yara Sachs, an utter disgrace.
00:03:15.240 But just by chance,
00:03:17.240 geographically, I am near,
00:03:19.240 I guess it's not by chance,
00:03:21.240 I am near a number of Jewish schools
00:03:23.240 and Jewish synagogues.
00:03:25.240 And so in recent weeks, I see on my phone
00:03:27.240 information that this school
00:03:29.240 had its window smashed,
00:03:31.240 or that school was shot at,
00:03:33.240 or that synagogue had a Molotov cocktail
00:03:35.240 thrown at it.
00:03:37.240 And I'm thinking, oh, that's just down the street.
00:03:39.240 I mean, one of them happened so close
00:03:41.240 to my house I could walk there.
00:03:43.240 And so it just so happens
00:03:45.240 that I sometimes wake up,
00:03:47.240 get the news on my phone,
00:03:49.240 and I go straight there on my own.
00:03:51.240 I mean, here's an example of a synagogue
00:03:53.240 called Pride of Israel.
00:03:55.240 And ironically, it was on Pride Parade Day
00:03:57.240 that they had all those windows smashed.
00:03:59.240 It was just a quick snippet of me
00:04:01.240 going to this nearby synagogue.

00:04:19.240 took on its current connotations.
00:04:21.240 I think we should tell the Toronto Police
00:04:23.240 that this is a gay synagogue,
00:04:25.240 so maybe they'd give a damn.
00:04:27.240 I don't know if you can see,
00:04:29.240 but its windows were absolutely smashed.
00:04:33.240 I'm told this happened in the wee hours this morning.
00:04:37.240 You can see broken glass everywhere.
00:04:41.240 The door is open to the synagogue.

00:04:49.240 There's one police officer who was here taking pictures.

00:04:57.240 I see rocks in there.
00:04:59.240 I don't know if those rocks were used to smash things or not.

00:05:55.240 And the other day, I heard that a school bus was torched,
00:05:58.240 but when I heard where it was,
00:06:00.240 I thought, I know where that is.
00:06:03.240 There's a synagogue nearby
00:06:05.240 and there are Jewish school buses,
00:06:07.240 and that's what I was doing on Monday.
00:06:08.240 Remember that?
00:06:09.240 Let's look at this burnt-out school bus.
00:06:11.240 I heard about it on social media.
00:06:14.240 They said there's a school bus on fire.
00:06:17.240 It, quote, caught fire at 5 a.m. this morning.
00:06:21.240 Police don't know why.
00:06:22.240 Really?
00:06:23.240 So, actually, it's not too far away
00:06:25.240 from the home of Ya'ara Sachs.
00:06:27.240 This is in York Centre.
00:06:29.240 Ya'ara Sachs is the local Member of Parliament
00:06:32.240 in this heavily Jewish district.
00:06:34.240 You can see another shot of the vehicle just torched.
00:06:39.240 There's a bunch of other vehicles here.
00:06:41.240 More school buses.

00:06:45.240 What are these school buses?
00:06:47.240 And why would one catch fire at 5 a.m.?
00:06:51.240 Well, these school buses are for Jewish schools.
00:06:54.240 In fact, you can see the markings on them.
00:06:57.240 That says Bobov.
00:06:59.240 That's the name of a Jewish school around here.
00:07:03.240 And in fact, let me just show you.
00:07:04.240 I'm walking around a little bit more.
00:07:06.240 That's a large Jewish synagogue right back there.
00:07:10.240 But these aren't just any old school buses.
00:07:13.240 These are Jewish school buses.
00:07:15.240 And every single one of them has markings that says Banos Bez Chaya in Toronto.
00:07:23.240 That's another Jewish school nearby.
00:07:25.240 So why do you think this school bus caught fire at 5 a.m.?
00:07:31.240 Anyways, my point is I'm just personally geographically surrounded by enough Jewish things that I'm starting to detect firsthand personally the anti-Semitic crime wave that has happened in Canada over the last 10 months.
00:07:47.240 Now, perhaps some of that is unavoidable, but I don't think so.
00:07:51.240 There were attempts to set up pro-Hamas hate marches on various campuses in the United States, too.
00:07:58.240 And, of course, they have their First Amendment freedom.
00:08:00.240 So even uncomfortable, brutal, hateful speech is protected by the First Amendment.
00:08:08.240 But that doesn't apply if it is on private property, if there's other rules in place.
00:08:13.240 And so there was some amazing footage of American universities clearing out these pro-Hamas mobs.
00:08:21.240 Maybe you've seen some of this footage.
00:08:23.240 I just love this guy in his kind of stetson. Take a look.
00:08:28.240 This is the University of Southern California, one of many flashpoints across the country.
00:08:35.240 The police have issued a dispersal order on the USC campus.
00:08:39.240 They've warned students that if they remain here, they will be arrested.
00:08:44.240 The kids are better getting killed.
00:08:46.240 By Hamas terrorists.
00:08:48.240 By Hamas terrorists?

00:08:52.240 And I remember very early on in Florida, the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, announced that if any university groups were materially aiding terrorist groups, they would be banished from any Florida university.
00:09:08.240 And again, he did not censor First Amendment protected speech.
00:09:12.240 He said if you are organizing, working with, financing, harboring, whatever, the kind of words that are in our Canadian criminal code, he would shut down those hate groups immediately.
00:09:22.240 And indeed he did. And my reason for telling you that is it didn't have to be that Canada became home to these atrocious hate in Canada.
00:09:32.240 I mean, of course, it happened in the United States and New York City as well, extreme universities like Columbia.
00:09:38.240 But in Canada, it's been because every single institution has capitulated.
00:09:43.240 I think there's been no moral leadership.
00:09:46.240 Justin Trudeau, on behalf of the federal government, not only abetted and abides them, but he has sided in international forums with Hamas and has sent tens of millions of dollars to the Hamas front group called UNRWA.
00:09:59.240 On the provincial level, you've seen most provincial premiers in Canada just wanting to stay very quiet about it because they know that the anti-Semitic vote is now quite large.
00:10:11.240 Especially in Ontario, where Doug Ford is actually the political leader who has the prosecutors.
00:10:18.240 As you may know, in Canada, the criminal code is written by the federal government, but it is prosecuted by provincial prosecutors.
00:10:25.240 So that's Doug Ford's turf. That's Francois Legault's turf. You can't blame that on Trudeau.
00:10:31.240 And of course, there's the local police departments.
00:10:34.240 Toronto, led by a socialist mayor, Olivia Chow, is all too happy to turn a blind eye to Islamic extremism because she knows those are her voters.
00:10:45.240 So I think we've had nine months of the Overton window shifting, nine months of protesters, university woke protesters, but especially foreign born, foreign visa holder nationals in Canada, realizing to their shock what they can get away with.
00:11:07.240 And the answer is, they can get away with everything. They have yet to find a limit of what they can or can't get away with, like a baby testing limits.
00:11:16.240 So how can I go this far? Can I get away with this? The answer is being in Canada, you can get away with everything.
00:11:22.240 Everything. And so there's a new normal. And so thank God no one in Canada has been killed by these little acts of terrorism.
00:11:30.240 But it wouldn't surprise me if one day someone is. Now, attacking a school or a synagogue in the dead of night with a Molotov cocktail is unlikely to kill someone.
00:11:40.240 But it is a form of terrorism by definition. It's designed to terrify and terrorize people for political reasons and to aim at some sort of political result.
00:11:50.240 Terrorism has become normalized in Canada. And speaking for the neighborhoods I live in, people are scared.
00:11:57.240 People in Canada, Jewish Canadians who have had a life of total integration and harmony in the community are now talking about moving away.
00:12:06.240 Some are talking about moving to Israel, even though they're in a war, at least they know who their enemy is and they'll call it out.
00:12:13.240 Others want to move to places like Florida, where they know that there is a strong, freedom-oriented, nationalistic leader who's going to protect against especially foreign meddlers.
00:12:24.240 It makes me extremely sad to see what I've seen in Canada in recent days.
00:12:29.240 Today I went to a synagogue, I'm going to show you in a moment, and I saw a plaque on the front that it was this rock, this foundation stone was laid in 1980.
00:12:40.240 So the synagogue is about 44 years old, and I thought to myself, 1980 was sort of the golden age for Jews in Canada.
00:12:49.240 There was no anti-Semitism in Canada. I mean, one in a million. I grew up west of Calgary.
00:12:56.240 My family was the only Jew for miles around. We never faced anti-Semitism. The opposite.
00:13:01.240 People were genuinely curious. They wanted to know more. What does it mean to be Jewish?
00:13:06.240 Everyone was so friendly. The friendliest country, so accepting, such a high-trust society.
00:13:12.240 It was wonderful for Jews, and Jews shined. They excelled at whatever their professions were.
00:13:17.240 They had synagogues and Jewish centers, and they were friends with their neighbors, and there was no animosity at all.
00:13:23.240 That's changed very much. Not that old stock Canadians have changed, but the Canada of 2024 is very different than the Canada of 1980.
00:13:33.240 Now, I think most immigrants to Canada do not bear malice or anti-Semitism towards the Jews.
00:13:39.240 I don't think they do, but an enormous number do, simply because we are taking people from lands that are endemically anti-Semitic.
00:13:48.240 Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Somalia. These are places that hate Jews.
00:13:57.240 And we're just bringing in people without screening them whatsoever for cultural fit.
00:14:03.240 As you may know, to immigrate to Canada these days, you don't even meet anyone.
00:14:07.240 You're not even interviewed. It's an all-paperwork, all-electronic application.
00:14:12.240 I think Canada has swamped itself. Some of it is just economic free riders.
00:14:19.240 Some of it is just regular criminals.
00:14:22.240 But some of it is also anti-Semitic criminals who want to use violence to settle ancient scores.
00:14:28.240 So for today's show, I'm going to take you to a couple of places that I just happened to be in the neighborhood.
00:14:35.240 Two different synagogues that had a sign out front of their building torched last night.
00:14:42.240 In addition to the Jewish school yesterday and the Jewish school bus the day before.
00:14:47.240 Then I'm going to show you an interview with Mayor Weinstein, who's been a Jewish activist on the streets for a while.
00:14:53.240 And then later tonight, I'm going to go to a town hall meeting at one of these attacked synagogues called the Pride of Israel,
00:15:00.240 where if they let us in, hopefully we'll have a chance to put questions to Ya'ara Sachs.
00:15:05.240 I understand the mayor might be there, the provincial solicitor general, and the conservative MP Melissa Lansman.
00:15:12.240 I'll see what they have to say and whether or not they take questions from Rebel News.

00:15:33.240 I'm in North Toronto right now outside a synagogue called Kehillah Tshare Torah.
00:15:38.240 And at 2.30 a.m., these signs outside the synagogue were torched.
00:15:44.240 They were burnt by an arsonist on a motorbike.
00:15:47.240 The debris has been cleaned up before I came here today, but this happened short hours ago.
00:15:53.240 Now, the synagogue has put this small sign here as sort of a statement against the arson, but you can see what they burnt.
00:16:00.240 That poster used to say, bring them home now.
00:16:03.240 And I don't know if you can see, but there's pictures of some of the children taken hostage by Hamas.
00:16:09.240 I don't know what this sign would have said.
00:16:11.240 This one says, standing against hate is what we do.
00:16:15.240 Well, actually, that poster is the one that is standing.
00:16:20.240 The rest have been torched.
00:16:22.240 This synagogue, they tell me, gets hit about once a month.
00:16:27.240 You can see a smashed window there.
00:16:30.240 There's now a polycarbonate window that is higher strength.
00:16:34.240 Around the front, we saw where an airsoft gun was shot at a window.
00:16:39.240 A dead raccoon was left there.
00:16:41.240 This place, we're told, gets attacked about once a month.
00:16:45.240 And police always say, tut, tut, there, there.
00:16:47.240 It's nothing.
00:16:50.240 Is it nothing?
00:16:51.240 Three arsons in three days.
00:16:53.240 Two days ago, I showed you a school bus that had been torched.
00:16:57.240 It was a Jewish school bus for a Jewish school marked as a Jewish school bus.
00:17:02.240 Arson.
00:17:03.240 The police and the media downplayed it.
00:17:05.240 Yesterday, I took you to the Leo Beck Day School in North Toronto.
00:17:10.240 Huge fire.
00:17:11.240 They said, oh, it was a homeless person.
00:17:13.240 No hate here.
00:17:14.240 Really?
00:17:15.240 Who is this homeless person?
00:17:16.240 I'd like to know his name.
00:17:17.240 Why hasn't he been arrested and charged?
00:17:20.240 And this morning, this new arson incident.
00:17:24.240 I'm told there's another synagogue a few miles away that got hit with arson as well.
00:17:29.240 So I'm going to go there next.
00:17:30.240 Do you think for a second, if in three days in a row, there were three Muslim mosques
00:17:36.240 and Muslim schools in a row that were torched.
00:17:39.240 That there would be this blase attitude by the federal government.
00:17:43.240 Justin Trudeau would cut his Tofino surfing vacation short.
00:17:46.240 The provincial government would launch a police investigation.
00:17:51.240 The mayor would be here having a press conference.
00:17:55.240 They don't give a damn.
00:17:56.240 Or perhaps more accurately, they care a little bit, but they care a lot more about the fact
00:18:02.240 that Canada now has millions of new immigrants who come from countries that hate Jews and
00:18:07.240 hate Israel because we haven't screened.
00:18:09.240 And so if you're the mayor, the premier, the prime minister, and you look around and
00:18:13.240 you realize there are now millions of people in Canada who believe in antisemitism and even
00:18:18.240 violence.
00:18:19.240 And sure, there's a handful of Jews who were upset because their synagogue was torched,
00:18:23.240 but you're not going to take a stand.
00:18:25.240 That's why the Toronto police allowed an illegal Hamas hate encampment at U of T to break the
00:18:31.240 law for months.
00:18:32.240 It happened the same way at UBC, at McGill, around the country.
00:18:37.240 This is the new Canada.
00:18:39.240 I despise it when politicians say, that's not Canada.
00:18:43.240 That's not my Canada.
00:18:44.240 Oh, yes, it is.
00:18:46.240 This is the Canada that our politicians have made by bringing in mass, unvetted immigration
00:18:52.240 and turning a blind eye and basically winking at terrorists.
00:18:57.240 I say the word terrorists because what's the definition of terrorism?
00:19:01.240 Violence or the threat of violence to achieve a political result.
00:19:05.240 Well, that's exactly what's going on around Canada today.
00:19:09.240 You could say it's a lone wolf or a rogue actor, but we know for a fact, for example, that
00:19:15.240 Iran has 700 operatives in Canada and other activists are free to Rome.
00:19:21.240 The terrorist group, Sami Doun, that's banned in other countries, operates in the open in
00:19:26.240 Canada.
00:19:27.240 Do you really think the attack last night on this synagogue was unrelated, for example, to
00:19:32.240 Israel killing the boss of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh?
00:19:36.240 I believe that Canada is in this war against terror, even if we don't want to acknowledge
00:19:43.240 it.
00:19:44.240 Now, I'm going to go to the other synagogue and see if it was Torch 2.
00:19:47.240 Ezra Levant here at another North Toronto synagogue.
00:19:50.240 This one called Temple Sinai.
00:19:52.240 It's only about eight minutes away from the synagogue we were just at.
00:19:57.240 And for reference, it's about four minutes away from where we saw the Torch school bus
00:20:03.240 two days ago.
00:20:04.240 And all of this is about 15 minutes away from the Torch Jewish school.
00:20:09.240 Again, I'm here.
00:20:10.240 Well, let's see what time it is.
00:20:13.240 I'm not here early enough to find this before it was cleaned up.
00:20:18.240 But there was a sign here, just like this one here and this one here, that was torched
00:20:23.240 this morning.
00:20:24.240 I didn't find out about it quickly enough to get down here before it was cleaned up.
00:20:29.240 You can see there's still a piece they haven't cleaned up.
00:20:33.240 What's my point?
00:20:35.240 In three days, four Jewish institutions in a 20 minute radius of Toronto have been hit
00:20:44.240 by arson.
00:20:46.240 In the first case of the school bus, police were silent.
00:20:50.240 They said, oh, there's no indicia that it's a hate crime.
00:20:53.240 Really?
00:20:54.240 It was a school bus marked for a Jewish school parked next to a synagogue.
00:20:58.240 The next day, they said, oh, that Jewish school that was torched and smashed?
00:21:04.240 That was a homeless person.
00:21:05.240 It was arson, but the good kind of arson, not the anti-Semitic kind.
00:21:09.240 And today, two synagogues, the one on Bayview and this one on Wilson, had their signs torched.
00:21:17.240 Now, I'm looking around and I can see a surveillance camera over there, but I don't know how much
00:21:24.240 good a surveillance camera does if you're dealing with a sophisticated operator.
00:21:29.240 And what we've seen at many of these vandalism torchings is someone on a motorbike with a
00:21:35.240 helmet, you can't see their face, and if their motorbike is parked out of the field of view,
00:21:41.240 it's unlikely you would see a license plate if there even is one.
00:21:46.240 That sounds fairly sophisticated to me, to know where these synagogues are within this
00:21:52.240 region, to scope them out, and to have the material to cause a great fire, especially
00:21:57.240 that first school bus.
00:21:59.240 It is not easy to light a school bus on fire, I would imagine.
00:22:03.240 But it was done, and the school was torched, and these signs were torched.
00:22:09.240 If these were mosques, if these were pride parade headquarters, if this was another favored
00:22:17.240 group, the whole country would be in five alarm mode.
00:22:21.240 But they're just Jews, and everybody knows who the suspects are.
00:22:26.240 They're people you're not allowed to talk about, because that would be racist.

00:22:45.240 I think it's, I guess, sort of easy to light a sign on fire, but I'm not sure if I would
00:22:51.240 know how to light a sign on fire in like one minute that quickly to do it so you're not
00:22:57.240 caught.
00:22:58.240 Because you're carrying some sort of fuel on you.
00:23:01.240 To burn a school takes a lot more.
00:23:04.240 And of course, to torch a school bus, well, I simply wouldn't know how to do that.
00:23:09.240 It would take me an hour, I imagine, and I wouldn't even succeed.
00:23:12.240 My point is, I don't think these are amateurs or crimes of opportunity, just someone stumbling
00:23:17.240 upon something.
00:23:18.240 I think these are planned, strategized, organized, funded terrorist attacks.

00:23:30.240 I'm with Mayor Weinstein, one of the few Jews in Toronto who is willing to stand up and really
00:23:35.240 push back against anti-Semitism.
00:23:37.240 My feeling is that the official Jewish community is far too polite and far too bureaucratic.
00:23:44.240 And they care about their relationships with the police chief and the premier.
00:23:48.240 So they don't dare say the obvious, which is that Toronto in particular and Canada at large,
