00:00:00.000 Hello, my Rebels. Today, I'm going to show you that not only is Trudeau back as Prime Minister,
00:00:05.980 but censorship is back stronger than ever, not just from Trudeau himself, but from
00:00:10.860 the Canadian Association of Journalists who are so, so proud of themselves for getting Maxime
00:00:17.160 Bernier censored today. I'll give you the details on that. But first, let me invite you to become
00:00:21.980 a subscriber to Rebel News Plus. Just go to rebelnewsplus.com. It's eight bucks a month.
00:00:26.220 And what do you get? You get the video version of this podcast, along with weekly video shows
00:00:33.580 from Sheila Gunn-Reed, David Menzies, Andrew Chapados, and the satisfaction in knowing you're
00:00:39.520 helping to keep Rebel News strong. We don't take a dime from Trudeau. We rely on you. All right,
00:00:44.820 here's today's podcast.
00:00:56.220 Tonight, the election's over. Trudeau's getting right back down to business. It's September 23rd,
00:01:06.080 and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:01:09.820 Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon consumer I know?
00:01:13.580 There's 8,500 customers here, and you won't give them an answer.
00:01:17.660 The only thing I have to say to the government about why I'm publishing it is because it's my
00:01:22.240 bloody right to do so.
00:01:28.500 Look at this story and marvel at the impeccable timing of it.
00:01:35.740 SNC-Lavalin, corporations, and two former top execs charged with fraud, forgery by RCMP. Let me read
00:01:43.280 a little bit of it. The corporate entities of SNC-Lavalin, Inc., and SNC-Lavalin International,
00:01:48.600 Inc., as well as two former senior executives of the Quebec-based firms, have been charged with a
00:01:53.800 series of fraud and forgery offenses by the RCMP, according to a statement released by the RCMP
00:01:59.940 on Thursday. Former vice president of SNC-Lavalin, Normand Morin, and former vice president of
00:02:06.980 SNC-Lavalin International, Inc., Kamal Francis, have been arrested but released. They and the two
00:02:14.040 corporate entities are facing a number of charges, including fraud against the government following
00:02:18.900 a lengthy and comprehensive criminal investigation by, get this, the National Division RCMP Sensitive
00:02:26.860 and International Investigation Section. The alleged crimes in the story were between the years 1997
00:02:34.080 and 2004. And lucky for Trudeau, the RCMP waited until after the election was over before filing the
00:02:42.380 charges. I mean, they said it was a sensitive investigation. I wonder what that means. This
00:02:48.420 is the company and the cronies that Jody Whistlin-Raybould was going after before Gerald Butts orchestrated
00:02:54.740 her ouster as justice minister. By the way, Butts, who was drummed out in disgrace over this whole
00:03:01.300 fiasco, has been absolutely rehabilitated by Trudeau's CBC. He was on panels during the election.
00:03:08.060 And lucky for Trudeau, his hand-picked crony runs the RCMP, too. Here she is getting a big old hug
00:03:16.040 from him. Yeah, I'm sure she'll investigate him after that. So it's good to know the RCMP is completely
00:03:22.220 in the pocket of Trudeau. I didn't really have much doubt about him. We forget about the depth of the
00:03:28.280 corruption in Canada, especially in Quebec, especially in liberal parts of Quebec, liberal
00:03:34.540 donors in Quebec. Jody Wilson-Raybould had no chance against them. So expect to see lots more of
00:03:41.440 this. I mean, Trudeau takes re-election as vindication. He has said as much. On election night,
00:03:48.120 he says he has a clear mandate. I don't know if you paid attention to it, but Vancouver Granville,
00:03:53.980 Tlaib Nur-Mohamed, the liberal candidate, won, succeeding Jody Wilson-Raybould. I mean,
00:03:58.820 isn't that really proof of who speaks for Canada? He took Jody Wilson-Raybould's old seat,
00:04:04.300 the most ethical to the least ethical. It's this guy.
00:04:07.860 How much have you profited on those 25 in the past decade?
00:04:11.040 I mean, I'm not, you know, I think it's important to talk about, I'm going to answer that question
00:04:18.980 again. So I'm going to be sure. Yeah. How much have you profited on those sales?
00:04:26.200 I, when you ask, I'm going to, give me a second to just make sure I have the right,
00:04:31.780 okay. So, sorry, ask me the question again. Sorry. Yeah. How much have you profited personally
00:04:38.180 or business-wise on the sales of those 25 properties in the last decade?
00:04:43.540 While I can't give you an exact number, what I can tell you is that it is by no means the number
00:04:49.060 that has been put forward, but what I can also tell you is that I am absolutely committed to any
00:04:53.140 and all measures that we have put forward that would, that would apply.
00:04:59.720 I am still waiting for a number outside here. If he has one, a bottom line, he doesn't seem to think
00:05:05.180 or won't say that his past business dealings are part of this unaffordability problem.
00:05:10.840 Yeah. He's an MP now. You know, I had such low expectations for Aaron O'Toole. I thought he was
00:05:16.300 going to lose 10 or probably 20 seats. So that when he got exactly the same number of seats he had
00:05:22.580 before the election, I got to tell you, I was better than I had expected at the beginning,
00:05:27.100 but he thought he was actually going to win. And fair enough, there were a few weeks in the
00:05:32.000 campaign where it looked like he might based on the polls, but he didn't. It didn't work. And we
00:05:37.640 have massive debt, growing inflation, unemployment still over 7%. We have a civil liberties crisis.
00:05:44.160 We have a healthcare crisis. And by that, I mean, thousands of surgeries have been canceled. Entire
00:05:49.320 industries are still limited, such as travel. And then you have Canada's foreign policy disasters
00:05:54.720 from China to Afghanistan. You have all this and Trudeau's threat to censor the internet too.
00:06:00.080 And people are getting a bit tired of Trudeau and they see through him. And the best Aaron O'Toole
00:06:05.320 can do is no better than before. In fact, conservatives got fewer votes than under Andrew Scheer.
00:06:09.800 I see some conservative MPs are angry. Here's Chris Warkenton. Here's Mark Strahl. Maybe they
00:06:19.240 weren't thrilled about having to cheer for a carbon tax and cheer for banning guns and cheer for vaccine
00:06:26.340 passports and cheer for open borders immigration. And yet, not win a single seat in Toronto, which
00:06:31.880 was always the promise to bargain. So yeah, I think O'Toole is weak. And if Jenny Byrne, Stephen
00:06:39.060 Harper's campaign manager, is weighing in against him, well, that could spell trouble for O'Toole.
00:06:44.120 My expectations were him for so low, he exceeded them by breaking even. But you know what you call
00:06:49.460 someone who comes in second in an election? A loser. There's no second place. I mean, I'd like to say
00:06:56.640 such a person is called the leader of the opposition, but I haven't really seen any opposition yet from
00:07:01.380 O'Toole, at least not on the key issues I just mentioned. So Trudeau continues his march unabated.
00:07:07.680 He doesn't care if he has a majority or minority. Really, what would he do differently? Here comes
00:07:12.580 internet censorship. Here's a story in Black Locks today. I'll read a little bit of it for you.
00:07:18.420 Predict another internet fight. Heritage Minister Stephen Gilbeau's web regulations could, quote,
00:07:23.220 make Canada's internet one of the most censored and surveilled in the democratic world.
00:07:27.220 An advocacy group said yesterday, Open Media Vancouver launched a petition drive to counter
00:07:32.020 any reintroduction of two cabinet bills that lapsed in the last parliament.
00:07:36.700 Liberals are poised to push forward with their harmful internet censorship. Plans Matthew Hatfield,
00:07:42.140 campaign director for Open Media, wrote in a message to donors. Our newly elected government
00:07:47.120 is cynically taking advantage of our political fatigue and frustration with the internet to try
00:07:51.680 to trick the public. Yeah, that's full speed ahead, but let me show you something really nuts.
00:07:57.900 Look at this. Check the offensive requests we've received today, yesterday and today from far left
00:08:04.340 activists masquerading as journalists. We tell them to get lost. Others wrote defamatory columns
00:08:09.880 comparing our supporters to neo-Nazis and saying we are violent and racist. They're panicking.
00:08:16.520 That's a tweet from Maxime Bernier. And then he has included snapshots of emails he received,
00:08:23.000 exactly as he describes them, calling him a Nazi leader, really.
00:08:26.300 So Bernier tweeted that, and then he retweeted himself adding,
00:08:32.140 if you want to write to these idiots to tell them what you think of their disgusting smear jobs,
00:08:37.140 here are their email addresses. They want to play dirty, we will play dirty.
00:08:41.280 And then he posted their emails, their business emails, which are available on their websites,
00:08:45.080 by the way. I mean, my email is not as secret as a rebelnews.com. You can find that online.
00:08:49.040 These reporters are from Bell Media, Global, Hill Times, whatever. Their emails are public. He
00:08:53.920 didn't give their personal emails or their phone numbers or their addresses or their photos. So
00:08:57.720 it's true when he says they really are leftist extremist activists, if you read
00:09:02.120 their questions to them. And he did publish their emails, their work emails. It's not private. He
00:09:08.820 didn't dox them. He didn't give away their home address or anything like that, really.
00:09:13.300 And the reason it's a bit hard to see what I'm showing you here, because all these Maxime
00:09:18.640 Bernier tweets were deleted, not by him, by Twitter. They deleted what he had to say. He's
00:09:25.540 a leader of a party. They deleted it. Now, you might not like Bernier. You might not like what
00:09:31.200 he said. You might think that he went too far here, or he wasn't polite, or he wasn't even
00:09:36.120 grown up, maybe, or appropriate. Okay, fine. But really, they called him a Nazi, and he called
00:09:42.000 them idiots and published their public email addresses. Where's the crime? But they deleted
00:09:48.560 him, just like the Leaders Debates Commission deleted him from the debates, just like anyone
00:09:54.100 who isn't part of the establishment gets deleted. They try to delete us all the time. We go to
00:09:58.220 court when they do that. But look at this. This wasn't just Twitter. This was the Canadian
00:10:04.480 Association of Journalists, too. Look at this. Here's an official tweet from the Canadian
00:10:08.960 Association of Journalists. Journalists have a legal and ethical obligation to send questions
00:10:13.260 and request comment from our politicians going after them for doing their basic duties. Unacceptable
00:10:18.020 and dangerous behavior. What? Unacceptable and dangerous? What, calling them idiots? Dangerous.
00:10:24.100 Yes, very, very dangerous. Take it from the vice president of the Canadian Association of Journalists,
00:10:29.600 Fatima Syed, who says so. She says,
00:10:33.900 It took Twitter about eight hours to do this, but I'm considering this as a win for the right
00:10:39.460 of journalists to ask questions of anyone running for public office. Hang on, hang on, hang on.
00:10:45.160 You can ask Bernier whatever questions you want. Getting Twitter to delete his tweet isn't helping
00:10:51.960 free speech, and you haven't really done anything for journalists. You're silencing a politician who spoke
00:10:57.900 back to you. That's the Canadian Association of Journalists. They were behind the censorship.
00:11:04.800 I don't know if you remember, because it was only days ago. Our reporters were banned from attending
00:11:12.540 the federal leaders debate. Didn't hear a peep from the Canadian Association of Journalists. We really were
00:11:17.680 censored. I don't know if you remember, but all during this whole lockdown for 18 months,
00:11:23.040 our reporters have been arrested. Our reporters have been attacked. Silence from the Canadian
00:11:28.320 Association of Journalists. Silence. But mean tweets from Maxime Bernier? Unacceptable and dangerous.
00:11:35.940 But feel free to beat up rebel reporters. They arrested David and took him to the police station.
00:11:41.440 They kept 11 of our reporters out of the debates. When we finally got in, Trudeau and the block leader
00:11:47.320 and Jagmeet Singh wouldn't even talk to him. No, nothing from the Canadian Association of Journalists.
00:11:51.320 I note that that vice president, Fatima Syed, works for the Narwhal, a far-left website that received
00:11:57.820 a $254,000 secret payment from Trudeau's bailout right before the election. That was part of my scoop
00:12:04.060 the other day. Now, I wonder if that's the reason why she's censoring Bernier, carrying water for Trudeau,
00:12:11.760 doing errands for Trudeau. I wonder if that's why, or if she just naturally believes in censorship.
00:12:19.080 But here's what I know. When Trudeau brings in his censorship plans for the internet, and
00:12:23.960 when they come for us at Rebel News, there won't be a single voice in the mainstream media standing
00:12:29.920 with us. Like Fatima Syed, like the Canadian Association of Journalists, they've all been
00:12:35.020 barred off to support Trudeau's censorship. Or worse, they truly believe in that censorship,
00:12:40.400 even without Trudeau's cash. Stay with us for more.
00:12:55.400 Remember back in 2018, the master of the photo op, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, went down to the border
00:13:04.120 where immigration officers had detained families, including some children who were trafficked across
00:13:11.420 the border. Now, they were in a form of detention which had fences, and it was a very dramatic moment.
00:13:17.560 AOC posed tearfully at children in cages. It became a crisis. Well, there were a few hundred detainees
00:13:26.380 back then, but look at this. More than 10,000 people who have crossed the border, who are now
00:13:33.260 under a bridge, outdoors, in the elements, with very poor food, clothing, shelter, medicine.
00:13:41.380 It's a disaster, yet Kamala Harris, the border czar, according to President Biden, is nowhere to be seen.
00:13:48.380 What a crisis. But does the media care anymore? Where are those glamorous photo ops? AOC is nowhere
00:13:54.820 to be found. But our friend Joel Pollack, Sr., editor-at-large at Breitbart.com, is right here.
00:14:00.120 He joins us now via Skype from the Los Angeles area. Joel, great to see you again. It's been a
00:14:04.900 little while since we've talked. We've been so focused on the Canadian federal election.
00:14:08.780 I've never seen such a thing as is happening on the U.S. border. It's like an entire town
00:14:14.580 is waiting to cross in. Tell us what's going on there.
00:14:18.160 Well, a large number of people have received the implicit memorandum that there's an open border
00:14:27.260 at the southern U.S. border with Mexico and that the Biden administration is letting people in if
00:14:33.000 they are part of family units. The only people really being turned away are, in some cases,
00:14:38.260 single males. So if you arrive with children or you're a pregnant woman or you have a family,
00:14:43.280 you can basically find your way into the United States. Theoretically, you could be deported.
00:14:49.740 You might have to show up for a court date at some point in the future. But everybody trusts the
00:14:54.400 Biden administration to drop those obligations, and they're hoping Democrats will pass some kind
00:15:00.220 of amnesty. They know there's no more border enforcement. So the word has gone out. And the
00:15:04.480 latest wave of migrants is Haitian refugees. Now, these are not people coming directly right now from
00:15:10.780 Haiti, which has suffered political turmoil and an earthquake. These are people displaced by earlier
00:15:16.160 problems who have been living comfortably or uncomfortably in other parts of the Western
00:15:23.980 Hemisphere, specifically in places like Chile in South America. And they are making their way north
00:15:29.880 through Central America with the assistance of cartels. And they are arriving at the Rio Grande at
00:15:35.440 the southern border of the United States, and they are crossing over. And they're crossing over by the
00:15:39.780 thousands. And there are so many of them that the existing border patrol facilities cannot house
00:15:45.060 them and cannot even process them. So there are tens of thousands of them living under an underpass
00:15:51.220 near the Del Rio crossing in Texas. And the Biden administration finds this very embarrassing. So
00:15:58.520 they are threatening and warning they're going to deport some people. They have removed some several
00:16:03.820 thousand people, but they've allowed several thousand others to remain in the United States.
00:16:07.680 So while they're talking one game, they're playing another. And everybody is on to it,
00:16:13.160 including most of all the migrants and the cartels. So we have a complete breakdown of law and order at
00:16:19.600 the border. And that breakdown is gradually making its way across the rest of the United States.
00:16:24.960 Migrants are being flown to other places. They're being moved to other states. And the American people,
00:16:30.360 including Democrats, blame the Biden administration for its deliberate policy decision not to enforce
00:16:37.180 existing border laws and border protections. There's also a dust up over the use of horses. Now,
00:16:43.200 you know how this usually goes, right? There's some kind of image or video that circulates.
00:16:47.260 And once in a while, there's something really bad happening. But a lot of the time,
00:16:50.320 it's the prejudice of the viewer or interpreter or the person putting it out on social media. So there
00:16:55.620 was a video and some photographs of border patrol agents on horseback. And one of them was grabbing the
00:17:02.560 t-shirt of a migrant and the reins on the horse. It seemed to be flying out at an odd angle. In another
00:17:08.640 video, a border patrol officer is seen waving one end of his reins in a circular motion in an attempt to
00:17:16.120 intimidate one of the migrants appropriately, so you could argue, from crossing the river, which the migrant
00:17:22.300 was not allowed to do. No use of lethal force or even direct force of any kind, but basically just trying to
00:17:28.000 provide an obstacle that would deter the migrant. That was turned into a story about border patrol
00:17:33.940 officers in cowboy hats using whips against black Haitian migrants. In scenes reminiscent, we were
00:17:41.200 told of slavery and the hunt for escaped slaves crossing into freedom. That made the White House
00:17:48.020 very upset, we are told. And now they are going to shut down the use of horses in the Del Rio sector.
00:17:53.220 Now, if you've been to the U.S. border, and I have, you'll know that border patrol agents often ride on
00:17:57.680 horseback. The reason being, that's the best way to get around some of that border terrain.
00:18:02.680 So now, if you're telling the border patrol agents they can't use horses, that means they can't stop
00:18:07.860 the migrants at the border. They can't outrun the migrants at the border. They can't disperse the
00:18:12.320 migrants at the border. They can't use the one vehicle or the one device that has been somewhat
00:18:18.920 useful on some of these patrols in remote regions. And it's all because of a kind of hate crime
00:18:25.260 hoax. And we're going through a whole investigation now in the usual rigmarole.
00:18:29.720 And this is, again, a common practice along the border under Democratic and Republican
00:18:35.360 administrations. There's nothing racial about it. If it's racist, then Democrats should dismantle all
00:18:40.280 the horse-mounted patrols they have in every major city, including here in L.A., including the liberal,
00:18:45.980 almost communist enclave of Santa Monica nearby here, which has horses as well. I've seen them on
00:18:51.320 patrol with the police. I mean, horses are useful, especially in crowd control. And that's why the
00:18:57.260 Border Patrol, we're using them. There's nothing nefarious or racist about it. But that's the
00:19:00.920 latest wrinkle and the latest chapter in this seemingly never-ending saga of Joe Biden's failure
00:19:06.320 at the border.
00:19:07.280 Yeah. Well, I understand that some of the states had taken action, some of the more bellicose Republican
00:19:13.600 governors. I understand, for example, Texas sent several hundred National Guard to the border.
00:19:19.420 How does that work? I mean, in Canada, the federal government obviously is in control of foreign
00:19:25.840 affairs and the border. And when in doubt, the authority falls to the feds. I don't know the
00:19:33.840 U.S. Constitution as well. I understand when in doubt, things go to the states. What role, if any,
00:19:40.400 can Governor Abbott or others play to defend the border if Biden won't?
00:19:45.240 Well, it's very limited. And the problem was first dealt with during the Obama administration
00:19:53.080 when the state of Arizona actually passed a law, SB 1070, that attempted to allow state and local
00:20:00.900 law enforcement officials to check the immigration status of people whom they stopped for otherwise
00:20:06.240 legitimate reasons. And that law was struck down at the Supreme Court, which held that immigration is
00:20:12.740 an inherently federal function. And therefore, the state and local police cannot carry out
00:20:17.420 immigration enforcement. There's a separate question of whether state and local law enforcement
00:20:22.560 should cooperate with federal efforts at law enforcement. That's something that Republicans
00:20:27.840 say they ought to do. And if the federal government comes and says, we would like to know if there are
00:20:33.200 illegal aliens in prison facilities, let's say, many people on the Republican side believe that state and
00:20:39.640 local authorities should cooperate. But right now, states like California have declared themselves
00:20:43.460 sanctuary states and they're refusing to cooperate. So Democrats basically have taken contradictory
00:20:48.780 positions. They want it both ways. They want to be able to control immigration law by not enforcing it
00:20:55.540 when they run the federal government. But when Republicans run the federal government, Democrats say,
00:20:59.660 no, no, no, no, the states and local governments have the power not to involve themselves in
00:21:04.220 immigration law. So basically, the Democrats want it both ways. And thus far, the courts have let them
00:21:10.500 get away with it. There's not much that states can do to enforce border security if the federal
00:21:15.360 government won't. However, the Texas Department of Public Safety has been trying to stop the illegal
00:21:23.420 migration. And they've been getting some support from other states, typically Republican-governed
00:21:29.220 states like Florida, which sent over a team. Now, what they do in those roles is usually just
00:21:34.920 supporting search and rescue, rescuing migrants from deserts or from rivers, because lots of people
00:21:40.840 drown or starve or are exposed to extreme temperatures. And, you know, that's a lot of what the federal
00:21:46.780 Border Patrol has to deal with. So states can provide supporting roles that don't directly involve law
00:21:51.620 enforcement, but involve some of the other activities that the federal officials might otherwise
00:21:56.280 have to do. So they can free up those federal officials to do what is exclusively within the
00:22:00.780 jurisdiction of the federal government. They can help. And by the way, under a previous governor
00:22:04.800 here in California, even a Democrat, Jerry Brown, sent the California National Guard to do various
00:22:09.900 backup activities near the border. He did not want them involved directly in border enforcement.
00:22:14.180 That would have been politically too difficult here in left-wing California. But he did help what
00:22:19.900 the Democrats were agreeing at the time was a kind of migrant crisis. Now that you have a Democrat in
00:22:25.860 charge of the White House, they don't want to agree that there's a crisis at all. In fact,
00:22:28.800 there isn't a crisis. Many people believe, and I think it's probably true, that a lot of this is
00:22:32.500 by design. Democrats created a situation in which the border would necessarily be overwhelmed,
00:22:38.880 thus creating political pressure on Congress to act by passing some sort of amnesty,
00:22:43.760 thus creating millions of new grateful Democratic voters, many of whom, by the way, have been relocated
00:22:48.880 to red states or swing states to help the Democrats take over. This is no conspiracy theory.
00:22:55.320 This is the Democratic Party attempting to take advantage of the crisis for maximum political
00:23:00.220 leverage. And that's why they have no interest in stopping people at the border. They're not asking
00:23:04.160 people if they've been vaccinated at the border. If you come to this country legally, you have to
00:23:09.600 be tested for COVID. You now will have to show that you're vaccinated. But if you come across the
00:23:15.440 southern border illegally, they're not going to test you. They're not going to ask you if you're
00:23:18.320 vaccinated. They're just going to have you quarantined if you show symptoms. But that's it.
00:23:23.200 You know, it sounds a lot like what Justin Trudeau did when Trump, very early in his term,
00:23:30.040 talked about limiting travel to America. At that time, it was from countries with endemic
00:23:37.420 terrorism. Trudeau tweeted out, everyone's welcome here, and basically fired a starter pistol
00:23:42.800 for a border between Canada and the United States at Roxham Road is the name of the road. And tens of
00:23:50.880 thousands of bogus migrants who had had their refugee hearings in America and were going to be kicked
00:23:57.180 out, were going to be deported. They, quote, self-deported from America into Canada. And Trudeau
00:24:03.860 welcomed them by the tens of thousand. On purpose, loved it. Obviously, they'll vote for Trudeau and the
00:24:11.160 liberals. Trump didn't mind it because it got rid of people. It really did cause self-deportation from
00:24:17.200 America to Canada. It wouldn't surprise me if quite a lot of these Haitians who are coming into Texas
00:24:22.540 now make their way to Roxham Road. Because Roxham Road is with the border between New York and Quebec.
00:24:28.280 They speak French in Quebec. There's a large Haitian community already in Quebec. I bet that pipeline goes
00:24:34.540 Chile, Mexico, Texas, New York, Quebec. That's my prediction. I don't know what you think about that.
00:24:44.820 Well, you know, the Haitian immigrant population of the United States is one of the most successful
00:24:51.320 and productive groups of immigrants. I mean, they've really excelled in the United States,
00:24:57.000 the legal immigrant population from Haiti. What we have here is not a question about Haitians per se,
00:25:03.480 or Mexicans or Colombians or Bangladeshis or anyone else who's coming here. And by the way,
00:25:07.500 they're coming from all over the world. It's not just people coming across a land border.
00:25:11.580 Initially, people are coming from island nations like Haiti, from distant continents.
00:25:15.820 This is a question about whether the American people have the ability to control our own border
00:25:20.780 and to decide who gets to come into our country. The Democrats think not. The Democrats are treating
00:25:25.640 it as if everyone in the world has a right to come to the United States and to live off our work,
00:25:30.820 our taxes, our institutions, and to be a burden to our society. I mean, yes, some hardworking immigrants
00:25:37.960 tend to be very helpful and they contribute more than they take. But that is the situation with legal
00:25:45.460 immigration. With illegal immigration, it's not so clear that's the case. And we just can't have this
00:25:49.600 free-for-all at the border. There are all kinds of crimes happening. There are gang rapes of women and
00:25:55.040 children in some cases who are being taken advantage of by some of these criminal gangs in places like Panama
00:26:00.020 and elsewhere, all along the chain. This comes hand in hand in some cases with drug smuggling and so
00:26:05.880 forth. This is really about sovereignty and, again, about the democratic self-governance of the American
00:26:11.060 people. Do we have the right to decide whom we want to admit into our community as residents or as
00:26:15.680 citizens? The Biden administration thinks not. What is interesting, though, is that suddenly the Biden
00:26:20.940 administration, since this situation has developed with the Haitian migrants, because they're all living in
00:26:25.800 completely horrible conditions under this overpass in Del Rio. The Biden administration is now trying
00:26:31.780 to show people that they're deporting some of these migrants. So they are putting some of them on
00:26:37.240 airplanes, mostly single males, and supposedly sending them back to Haiti. This has resulted in two other
00:26:43.600 unintended consequences. One, Democrats are being accused by journalists now of racism, because they're
00:26:49.820 not putting the Mexicans on planes, necessarily. They're putting the Haitians on planes. So it's only once
00:26:54.560 large numbers of black people start showing up at the border that the Biden administration seems keen to take
00:27:00.220 action. Now, I don't believe that's true. I think the Biden administration is incompetent in general, and
00:27:05.000 they're equally incompetent with regard to all sorts of migrants. They don't want to deport anybody. They make the
00:27:11.160 same sort of show in any population group. But what's interesting is just in this news cycle, since the Haitian
00:27:17.540 migrants are at the heart of it, is that you're starting to see reporters basically accuse Biden of racism, which is
00:27:23.020 very entertaining to conservatives, because it's nice to see them hoist by their own petard, so to speak.
00:27:28.660 But the other thing that's happening is we had the recent resignation of Biden's handpicked envoy to
00:27:35.600 Haiti, who resigned over the deportations, as well as over the Biden administration's policy toward the
00:27:42.120 current interim Haitian government. Apparently, the United States under Biden is regarding the current
00:27:48.120 interim government, which has taken office in the midst of all this turmoil and assassination and so
00:27:53.980 forth. We are somehow working with that government as the interim government. And the envoy that Biden
00:27:59.320 picked to deal with Haiti says this is a big mistake. We're ignoring Haitian civil society. We're ignoring
00:28:04.160 the wishes of the Haitian people. And he resigned. He wants no part of it. So you're seeing the Biden
00:28:08.760 foreign policy fall apart on every front. And this particular immigration crisis, this little piece of it,
00:28:16.720 is telling a story of a much broader failure within the Biden administration, not just on migration,
00:28:22.080 not just on the border, but on just about every policy. Yeah. Well, listen, it's amazing to catch up
00:28:28.320 on this. And that's fascinating about Haiti. I don't want to keep you too much longer. But you made me think
00:28:33.340 of the massive airlifts out of Afghanistan. There were some Americans on that airlift. I understand there's
00:28:39.200 plenty still trapped behind. But 100,000 Afghan nationals, I understand, many of whom are now housed
00:28:44.680 on U.S. bases. And is that part of the same thing? Bring 100,000 Afghans over to America?
00:28:54.140 Questionable vetting. But you got yourself 100,000 Democratic voters. That's enough to swing a few
00:28:59.420 districts? Well, we'll see. I mean, it's possible some of them will vote Republican because they see
00:29:06.040 what a terrible job Democrats did in Afghanistan, you know, in much the same way that many Vietnamese
00:29:11.100 refugees have voted Republican since arriving from South Vietnam after the collapse of that country
00:29:17.960 in the mid-1970s. But you're right. In general, the Democrats have tried to encourage this culture
00:29:23.600 of dependency among new migrants. They really create the idea that migrants, whether legal or illegal,
00:29:32.340 depend on the largesse of the Democratic Party. And most people believe it. I'd say probably about 70%
00:29:37.460 believe it. 30% vote the other way. But if you go to a naturalization ceremony in Los Angeles,
00:29:44.140 you'll find Democratic Party activists camped outside with tables and tents registering people
00:29:49.980 to vote as soon as they become citizens. You know, that's something the Republican Party could do.
00:29:55.660 Republican Party, for some reason, doesn't really do it as well as the Democrats do. So you could
00:29:59.420 give the Democrats, I suppose, credit for being more organized in that sense. But they're not just
00:30:04.040 organized to sign up legal immigrants to vote. They are letting it be known very clearly to millions
00:30:11.360 and millions of illegal aliens that if and when they gain admission to this country, if and when
00:30:17.180 they become citizens, they will have the Democratic Party to thank. And the Democratic Party hopes through
00:30:21.320 them to rule in perpetuity. The only obstacle right now is the slow drift of Latino voters to the
00:30:28.140 right as they see the far left-wing Democratic Party policies like defunding the police,
00:30:32.660 making them more unsafe and making it harder to find work. But the bulk of migrant communities
00:30:38.820 still vote overwhelmingly for the Democratic Party, with a few exceptions, like Cuban Americans,
00:30:44.560 for example, who have a strong tradition of anti-communism, and like Persians, for example,
00:30:49.820 a sort of subset of immigrants largely within the Jewish community. You know, one of the only
00:30:54.580 areas of Los Angeles that voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 was North Beverly Hills, which is heavily
00:30:59.660 Persian. Anybody who has experienced the oppression of left-wing government directly tends to vote
00:31:05.280 Republican. But the Democrats do a pretty good job of making sure that migrants, whether legal or
00:31:10.960 illegal, think that they have the Democratic Party to thank for their presence in the United States.
00:31:15.500 Last question. It's hard to believe, but we're pretty much halfway there between the last election
00:31:21.080 and the 2022 midterms. Can you give us, is it too early to start thinking about what those might look
00:31:30.200 like? Last I heard that Biden's doing poorly in the polls. I even saw one poll showed Trump is ahead
00:31:36.380 of Biden. Miscalculations on a lot of different fronts. The Afghan debacle. If you had to look ahead
00:31:45.580 a year, I know anything could happen in that long a time. But what do you think 2022 is shaping up to
00:31:51.880 look like? It's impossible to know for two reasons. Number one, it's a long way off and a lot of things
00:31:57.220 can happen. I think the country has decided that Biden can't manage it. But what we saw here in
00:32:02.180 California was Democrats have successfully mobilized their own voters to reject anything that smacks of
00:32:08.660 conservatism or Trump. So it's possible Democrats could still motivate enough of their voters to turn out
00:32:14.560 to protect their lead in the Senate, if not the House. The other issue is the voting mechanism
00:32:20.480 itself. We have undergone a revolution in voting methodology in this country with vote by mail and
00:32:28.380 all sorts of other things. And many Republicans fear that their votes will not count. So not only do
00:32:34.900 Democrats have an advantage simply because they're better geared up to handle vote by mail and things
00:32:40.320 like that, but Republicans are discouraged from voting. We saw that in California as well.
00:32:44.880 Republicans don't have faith in the process of voting anymore. And it's possible that all the
00:32:50.080 changes Democrats are putting in at the state level and perhaps the federal level will discourage
00:32:54.380 Republican turnout. So it's far too early to tell. Wow. Well, Joel, it's great to catch up with you.
00:32:59.520 Thanks for such a comprehensive briefing. And we look forward to our next update.
00:33:03.920 Thank you. All right. There you have it. Joel Pollack,
00:33:05.940 Senior Editor-at-Large at Breitbart.com. Stay with us. More ahead.
00:33:22.260 Hey, welcome back on my show. Last night, Francois writes, best show. Yeah. Well, it's nice you to say.
00:33:27.620 Paul writes, I drew the line with vaccines. Have not, will not. Oh, but it's easier for grownups to do.
00:33:34.920 What if you're a kid in college and you can't get your degree without it? What if you're not self-employed?
00:33:39.820 What if you work for a company and they fire you? It's terribly hard for most people who do not have
00:33:45.100 some independent strength. Most people must succumb. It's not consensual at all. I'm pointing out that,
00:33:51.580 yes, I'm glad you're standing, holding the line, but many people can't. I find that terrifying.
00:33:57.260 Harry writes, currently, they're calling it a vax passport. Soon it'll be morphed into a climate
00:34:01.160 passport. Yeah, you're probably right. And here's a clip. I don't know if I showed this to you. Here's Dan
00:34:06.280 Andrews, the premier of the Australian state of Victoria, saying, no, no, no, it's not even a
00:34:10.820 vaccine passport because you've got to get your regular boosters or you'll be blacklisted. Again,
00:34:15.740 take a listen to him saying that. We have to try and get our freedom back, get the place open,
00:34:21.700 but give our nurses a fighting chance to be able to care for the inevitable people who will get very,
00:34:26.300 very sick. These sorts of passports are designed to do exactly that. They won't be there forever.
00:34:31.400 I can't say, as I stand here right now, how many, how long it'll be on, how long it'll be a
00:34:36.160 feature of things. But you know, arguably, it won't be a vaccine passport you'll be showing
00:34:41.640 in the first half of next year. It'll be your booster passport to show that you've been to
00:34:46.180 have your third jab. Yeah, they don't plan to end this anytime soon. They won't end it unless we
00:34:51.900 somehow find a way to end it. That's our show for today. Until tomorrow, on behalf of all of us
00:34:56.840 here at Rebel World Headquarters, see you at home. Good night. Keep fighting for freedom.
00:35:06.160 Good night.
00:35:06.900 Good night.
00:35:07.300 Good night.
00:35:09.400 Good night.
00:35:17.240 Good night.
00:35:19.340 Good night.
00:35:19.700 Good night.
00:35:20.440 Good night.
00:35:20.840 Good night.
00:35:24.440 Good night.
00:35:25.380 Good night.
00:35:27.140 Good night.
00:35:29.180 Good night.
00:35:30.860 Good night.
