00:00:00.000 Hello, my Rebels. Today I'm in Calgary for the second day talking about Tamara Leach and her surprise arrest for the crime of being in a selfie photograph with another trucker.
00:00:13.500 It's just incredible. They put up on a national warrant. She was arrested. She's going to be flown out to Ottawa in shackles. Absolutely shocking.
00:00:23.240 I'll talk to her lawyer, Keith Wilson, about that, and I'll talk about two other civil liberties disasters today, too.
00:00:30.420 That's today's show. I'd like to invite you to watch it in video form. We call that Rebel News Plus as opposed to the podcast.
00:00:37.860 We show you vids and images, and I think it's a richer experience. Just go to rebelnewsplus.com and click subscribe.
00:00:45.380 It's $8 a month, which is pretty low. That's half the price of Netflix, and you get my show every night plus four weekly shows.
00:00:53.220 And frankly, a good reason to do it is just to help us stay strong because we don't take money from Trudeau.
00:00:58.520 So that $8 a month really adds up for us. So please consider going to rebelnewsplus.com.
00:01:04.620 All right, here's today's podcast. Thanks.
00:01:06.060 Tonight, trucker organizer Tamara Leach is arrested for taking a selfie with one of Trudeau's other political enemies.
00:01:28.700 It's June 28th, and this is The Ezra LeVant Show.
00:01:35.120 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:01:38.280 Hello and welcome. I'm in Calgary for the second day in a row.
00:01:49.760 Forgive me for not having access to my studio, and normally I write my script out and put it in a teleprompter so I have my notes in front of me.
00:01:58.660 Now I just have it on my phone. It's a pleasure to be in Calgary.
00:02:02.160 This is a city that believes in freedom. I was thinking about it. It's the only province in Canada that actually defenestrated its governing leader because of lockdown policies.
00:02:16.640 Jason Kenney is still the sitting premier, but he was discarded by his own party for his misgovernance during the lockdowns.
00:02:23.760 That's because of the freedom movement here, and I think to where I live in Rebel headquarters in Toronto, and alas, Ontarians seem to slouch forward with the Locker Downer, even though he allegedly calls himself a conservative.
00:02:36.400 Very sad. But I want to talk about three terrible things that happened today, and I guess I want to preface that by saying this is my first trip flying in over a year.
00:02:46.240 I mean, there's still limits on people like me. We can't go on cruise ships. We can't leave for the United States.
00:02:52.460 If we return to Canada, we have to go through a two-week quarantine. None of that makes sense. It's all punitive, but at least we can travel around our own country.
00:03:00.860 It's the first time I've done that in a year. So I was feeling a little bit of freedom. I was feeling a little bit hopeful.
00:03:06.820 I'm able to go to a restaurant now without having to show my private medical information.
00:03:12.380 So I was feeling pretty good until I guess I was hit with a triple whammy today, and that's what I'd like to talk about.
00:03:19.100 The triple setback for freedom that happened today.
00:03:23.760 And it happened at the hands of our police and prosecutors, people who were supposed to protect us and protect our freedom.
00:03:30.380 The first and most obvious was the shocking arrest of Tamara Leach, who is the Métis grandma who helped organize the trucker convoy to Ottawa in January and February.
00:03:43.400 She was already arrested and held outrageously for inciting mischief.
00:03:49.640 Now, no one was charged with mischief, so I don't know how you could incite mischief that didn't happen.
00:03:53.780 Of course, she was a peaceful protester. None of Trudeau's preferred protesters are ever arrested or held without bail for weeks, but Tamara Leach was.
00:04:03.140 You might recall that about two weeks ago, the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms, that's a public interest law firm.
00:04:11.280 We've interviewed their president, John Carpe, quite a bit.
00:04:14.860 They had their annual fundraiser and freedom gala, and Tamara Leach, their client, was the award winner, and I think it was a great choice.
00:04:24.100 She and the truckers did more for freedom than any political actor in the country, so she was out there in Toronto.
00:04:30.100 I had the pleasure of attending. I saw her and said a quick hello. She was very much in demand.
00:04:34.900 I want to let you know there was a constant stream of people waiting for selfies with her because she's sort of a celebrity, and remember that night was about her.
00:04:42.280 So really, every single person, and there were hundreds of people there, wanted a quick photo with her as a memento, as a souvenir.
00:04:50.600 So here's one such photo, completely normal. No one's even talking. They're just posing and saying, geez, that photo was published to social media.
00:05:00.820 Now that happened, I don't know, a week or two ago. I'd have to dig up the date of it, but it happened quite a few days ago.
00:05:09.240 But suddenly, last night, Tamara Leach was arrested for that photograph, and the cause was that one of the people in that selfie,
00:05:21.220 that was standing too many inches near her, I guess, was another trucker organizer named Tom Maratso.
00:05:29.780 And because they're not allowed to scheme or collude, the fact that we're standing in a photo together for the 10 or 15 seconds it takes to take a selfie,
00:05:40.180 she was arrested. And here you can see the Ottawa police bragging about that, the Ottawa police saying they sent out a nationwide warrant for her arrest.
00:05:52.620 And here's the Medicine Hat police bragging, boasting that they will do whatever Ottawa police say.
00:05:59.060 They will arrest whoever Ottawa police tell them to.
00:06:02.300 And remember, Ottawa's police force, notoriously corrupt, just absolutely abusive.
00:06:07.140 They had a police chief who wouldn't go along with Trudeau's antics, so they sacked him and put in an interim police chief who literally did anything.
00:06:14.720 You might recall that anything included shooting our dear reporter Alexa in the leg.
00:06:19.820 So this is really the most partisan, most corrupt police force in the country, even more so than the RCMP.
00:06:26.080 They saw this picture online, but of course it was posted online more than a week ago.
00:06:30.920 Why did they wait until last night to arrest her?
00:06:34.920 And what are they talking about waiting six days before they get her in front of a judge?
00:06:39.400 Why now? Why six days?
00:06:42.460 Well, the answer is because there's sort of an echo trucker protest scheduled for Ottawa, the nation's capital, on Canada Day.
00:06:51.700 So they deliberately waited for any fig leaf of an excuse to arrest her,
00:06:56.660 and, surprise, their process takes six days.
00:07:00.720 Apparently they have to wait for the next stagecoach to take her to Ottawa, where some Trudeau judge will hear the matter.
00:07:08.020 There is nothing about this that doesn't meet the definition of a political prisoner.
00:07:13.040 It's an absolute disgrace.
00:07:14.360 Now, we know that the Ottawa police are disgraced, but now the Medicine Hat police are doing their bidding.
00:07:19.060 The photo I have in my notes here was taken on June 16th, and yet they waited till last night to move on it,
00:07:28.780 clearly to take her out of action for that peaceful protest.
00:07:33.320 Now, I should tell you that, as I mentioned, the JCCF, which hosted this gala, that's a bunch of lawyers.
00:07:39.400 So, obviously, they were right there, there were lawyers sitting right at her table.
00:07:44.500 Nothing illegal or untoward happened, but the thugs of the Ottawa police arrested her anyways.
00:07:50.120 I'm sorry, that's the kind of thing that happens in Cuba or North Korea.
00:07:55.040 No, it's the kind of thing that happens in Canada.
00:07:59.760 But it wasn't just the Ottawa police.
00:08:01.540 It was the Medicine Hat police that jumped to attention and said,
00:08:04.420 Sir, yes, sir. Jump. How high, sir? What's going on there?
00:08:08.000 How about Jason Kenney?
00:08:11.920 Well, we know he's fine with all these lockdowns and prosecutions.
00:08:16.620 But how about the UCP, the United Conservative Party leadership candidates,
00:08:21.280 who are running to succeed Jason Kenney?
00:08:23.080 Where are they on this?
00:08:24.800 And where are the Canadian Conservative Party of Canada national candidates for leadership on this?
00:08:29.840 And the reason I ask is that in recent weeks and months,
00:08:33.540 both the provincial UCP in Alberta and the federal Conservatives have said,
00:08:39.780 oh, we're with the truckers, we're against mandates,
00:08:42.060 we're for peaceful democratic protests.
00:08:44.260 They were a little bit late to the party, but still they came.
00:08:47.000 OK, well, now it's a tough moment again.
00:08:49.460 Who will stand with Tamara Leach?
00:08:51.980 Tamara Leach, they were all happy to bask with the truckers.
00:08:55.500 They met with trucker organizers a few days ago.
00:08:58.620 Who will stand with Tamara Leach in this obviously unconstitutional arrest?
00:09:03.120 Literally arresting someone for standing in silence in a photograph with another one of Trudeau's enemies.
00:09:08.820 Where are the Conservatives?
00:09:09.840 Now, the answer is, in Jason Kenney's case, they're not just complying.
00:09:15.880 They're leading the charge.
00:09:17.580 So my first example of a setback for liberty was Tamara Leach.
00:09:21.160 And that happened in Ottawa and Medicine Hat this morning.
00:09:23.720 But the second happened, the second instance happened in Edmonton today.
00:09:28.000 And it was the sentencing of a peaceful church, obviously peaceful, called Church in the Vine.
00:09:33.980 A Christian church that decided that it ought to keep its doors open during the lockdown
00:09:38.880 for its members to pray and find community and find some spiritual uplift in these dark times
00:09:46.320 rather than the loneliness, despair, and fear being mongered by the government.
00:09:50.520 By the way, of course, there was never any COVID outbreak at this church.
00:09:54.040 There was never any problem in the church.
00:09:56.500 None was ever alleged.
00:09:57.680 It's just that Jason Kenney's thugs from the Alberta Health Services insisted on having their way in the church,
00:10:04.560 looking in the daycare, looking in the sanctuary.
00:10:06.740 During Sunday services, like you're in East Germany or something,
00:10:12.720 just the Stasi are deciding they're going to come and interrupt your church service.
00:10:16.940 So they never actually said to these inspectors, you can't come.
00:10:21.040 They just said, can you wait till our church service is over?
00:10:24.080 No, they would not.
00:10:26.240 Jason Kenney hired a special, he put together a special church prosecution squad,
00:10:31.560 a special health department police, and special prosecutors,
00:10:36.160 and their only task has been to prosecute churches.
00:10:40.940 And that's still going.
00:10:42.420 It's a multi-million dollar task force that only does that.
00:10:46.860 And they were in court in Edmonton Day,
00:10:49.100 and our friend Sheila Gunn-Reed was up there live tweeting the proceedings.
00:10:52.600 They, and I have the notes in front of me,
00:10:57.260 Pastor Tracy was fined $15,000,
00:11:03.040 and the church itself was fined another $65,000,
00:11:08.060 $80,000 in fines,
00:11:11.940 not because they broke any rule, none was alleged,
00:11:15.420 not because they spread the virus, it didn't happen,
00:11:17.840 but because the thugs from Jason Kenney's health department demanded all access to the church
00:11:23.320 right in the middle of the ceremony,
00:11:25.040 and the church leadership said,
00:11:26.720 hey, can you wait a minute till we're done?
00:11:29.020 Jason Kenney's police, Jason Kenney's prosecutors,
00:11:32.840 and the government judge just issued $80,000 in fines.
00:11:37.080 Now, I don't know of any church that's got $80,000 just sitting in the kitty.
00:11:40.780 What happens if they don't pay?
00:11:42.640 Now, if you're in a other situation,
00:11:44.640 you can seize someone's property.
00:11:46.700 Is Jason Kenney going to seize this church?
00:11:51.340 Is he going to seize it?
00:11:52.960 Is he going to occupy it?
00:11:55.640 Like he occupied the Grace Life Church south of Edmonton a year ago?
00:11:59.660 If you remember that, that was another church
00:12:01.800 that didn't like inspectors coming around during the services.
00:12:05.180 So over 100 police raided the church,
00:12:07.680 put up a fence around it,
00:12:08.880 and the grossest part of all,
00:12:10.740 Jason Kenney's police put their latrines
00:12:13.100 for the cops to defecate right on the church steps.
00:12:17.420 Not in the field.
00:12:19.180 They symbolically put their outhouses,
00:12:22.660 their portable outhouses,
00:12:24.180 right on the church steps
00:12:26.260 just to show who was boss.
00:12:29.360 Physically and metaphorically
00:12:31.340 shitting on the church.
00:12:33.700 Are they going to do that again
00:12:34.860 when they seize this church
00:12:37.020 to make good on their $80,000 debt?
00:12:39.580 An absolute disgrace.
00:12:42.040 That's the second setback today.
00:12:44.760 The third happened across the country.
00:12:47.080 I'm delighted that our reporter,
00:12:49.140 Drea Humphrey,
00:12:50.340 again, like me,
00:12:51.220 her first journey in more than a year,
00:12:53.380 went out to Halifax
00:12:54.740 to cover the Mass Casualty Commission,
00:12:58.520 the public inquiry.
00:12:59.740 If you're not from the Atlantic,
00:13:01.920 it's perhaps not as strong in your mind,
00:13:04.300 but there was a mass shooting event
00:13:06.380 with many troubling aspects to it.
00:13:08.380 I won't get into those details,
00:13:10.100 but it was a horrific event.
00:13:11.900 I think it was the worst crime
00:13:14.380 in Halifax history.
00:13:17.340 And so there was a public inquiry
00:13:18.600 into what happened,
00:13:19.320 what went wrong,
00:13:19.920 who did what,
00:13:20.580 the kind of thing you would want to see.
00:13:23.040 And one of the revelations
00:13:24.480 is that Brenda Luckey,
00:13:26.460 the hand-picked RCMP commissioner
00:13:28.740 who has defended Trudeau,
00:13:31.000 saved him from prosecution,
00:13:33.160 she was found to be interfering,
00:13:35.640 demanding that the local police
00:13:38.280 in Halifax publish certain details
00:13:40.860 that they never would
00:13:41.780 so that Justin Trudeau
00:13:43.980 could make, effectively,
00:13:46.040 campaign ads.
00:13:47.620 Not to do police work better,
00:13:48.960 not to come to justice
00:13:50.720 or not to stop crime,
00:13:52.520 but Brenda Luckey was interfering
00:13:54.720 with local police autonomy
00:13:56.280 and decisions
00:13:56.940 so that they could build
00:13:58.780 some sort of public fodder
00:14:01.260 for Justin Trudeau
00:14:02.680 to stand on the dead bodies
00:14:04.220 and campaign for,
00:14:05.980 I think it was gun control,
00:14:07.400 was their thinking.
00:14:08.740 Brenda Luckey wasn't just content
00:14:11.300 to interfere and defend Trudeau herself.
00:14:14.760 She meddled with the local police.
00:14:16.900 It's just so gross.
00:14:19.780 We've seen this before.
00:14:20.760 Before the police, as you know,
00:14:23.240 decided that Justin Trudeau
00:14:25.140 had committed all the elements
00:14:26.620 of an offense
00:14:27.940 for corruption and bribery,
00:14:30.520 for undue influence peddling.
00:14:32.860 I'm not sure the exact name
00:14:33.940 of the charge.
00:14:35.140 The police had concluded
00:14:36.120 that Justin Trudeau
00:14:36.980 had committed the elements
00:14:37.960 of an offense
00:14:38.620 in taking a free $200,000
00:14:41.620 secret vacation
00:14:42.680 from a lobbyist,
00:14:44.260 the Aga Khan,
00:14:44.840 but they just declined
00:14:45.720 to charge him.
00:14:47.380 The same Brenda Luckey
00:14:49.220 declined to charge
00:14:50.180 the crooked Gerald Butts
00:14:52.420 for his interference
00:14:53.940 in the SNC-Lavalin
00:14:55.440 corruption matter.
00:14:56.880 Brenda Luckey,
00:14:57.560 the corrupt RCMP officer,
00:14:59.160 has finally been caught red-handed.
00:15:01.940 And it's an incredible moment,
00:15:03.120 and I'm so proud
00:15:03.800 that our Drea Humphrey
00:15:05.160 is out there.
00:15:06.400 And it shows what happens
00:15:07.380 when you replace
00:15:08.100 a person of honor,
00:15:09.760 Jody Wilson-Raybould,
00:15:10.900 with just a partisan hack
00:15:12.500 like David Lamedi,
00:15:13.640 the new justice minister,
00:15:14.740 or Brenda Luckey,
00:15:16.040 the RCMP commissioner.
00:15:18.460 What's the common thread
00:15:19.960 amongst these three things?
00:15:21.740 The shocking political arrest
00:15:24.080 of Tamara Leach last night,
00:15:26.780 the sentencing of a church
00:15:29.260 to $80,000 in fines,
00:15:31.300 not for doing any crime,
00:15:33.080 not for spreading any illness,
00:15:34.940 but for simply not letting
00:15:36.000 government agents
00:15:36.880 into the church
00:15:37.880 without a search warrant,
00:15:38.920 by the way.
00:15:40.120 And then, of course,
00:15:41.020 Brenda Luckey being found
00:15:42.280 telling local police
00:15:43.620 to basically alter
00:15:44.640 a crime scene
00:15:45.460 so that Justin Trudeau
00:15:46.880 can make a campaign ad.
00:15:49.040 Well, the common thread to me
00:15:50.360 is that police and prosecutors
00:15:52.340 are not always
00:15:54.100 on our team anymore,
00:15:55.040 are they?
00:15:55.880 I mean, there are good cops out there.
00:15:57.120 Obviously, there are good prosecutors.
00:15:58.520 I know some of them.
00:15:59.680 But not all of them.
00:16:01.400 And not the senior brass.
00:16:03.280 They're working for Justin Trudeau
00:16:05.060 and Jason Kenney.
00:16:06.540 They know what their orders are.
00:16:09.000 Politicians aren't just fine with that.
00:16:11.280 Politicians are orchestrating that.
00:16:12.940 They're loving that.
00:16:15.100 Justin Trudeau is getting his revenge
00:16:17.580 against the Métis grandma
00:16:19.280 who embarrassed him.
00:16:21.160 Justin Trudeau is getting his revenge
00:16:22.560 and Jason Kenney too.
00:16:24.440 Kenney's disgraced.
00:16:25.340 He's lost the confidence
00:16:26.380 of his own party.
00:16:27.380 But he still is clinging to power
00:16:28.960 and he's still calling the shots.
00:16:30.740 He's getting the revenge
00:16:31.880 against these damn churches
00:16:33.300 that wouldn't close too,
00:16:34.320 isn't he?
00:16:34.620 And every UCP candidate
00:16:38.980 and every CPC candidate,
00:16:41.560 I mean, the day is still not done.
00:16:43.520 Maybe they've weighed in.
00:16:45.220 But where are they on this?
00:16:48.360 Is this all fine?
00:16:50.280 Is this all normal?
00:16:51.260 Is this the new normal in Canada?
00:16:54.360 None of the churches
00:16:56.180 were ever charged with a crime.
00:16:59.140 Tamara Leach was charged
00:17:00.680 with a trumped up, inciting mischief,
00:17:05.100 completely peaceful.
00:17:06.480 Are we fine with people being jailed
00:17:08.540 for weeks or even months
00:17:09.600 for these political crimes?
00:17:11.760 Are we fine with churches
00:17:12.800 being fined tens of thousands of dollars
00:17:14.580 because they embarrassed the government?
00:17:17.080 Are we fine with the police
00:17:18.500 orchestrating police work
00:17:20.600 to suit the Prime Minister?
00:17:21.560 Are we fine with that?
00:17:22.860 The media sure seems to be.
00:17:24.620 Even conservative politicians
00:17:26.160 sure seem to be.
00:17:27.800 No, I don't think so.
00:17:29.880 I don't think this is normal.
00:17:31.460 Or at least I don't think it should be.
00:17:33.700 And so I guess
00:17:34.200 the way I'll end this monologue
00:17:35.700 is to say I came out here to Calgary
00:17:37.180 the first time I've traveled in a year.
00:17:38.640 I was pretty excited
00:17:39.340 and feeling pretty positive about it.
00:17:40.820 It's great to be in Calgary,
00:17:41.780 a city of freedom.
00:17:42.620 But don't kid yourself.
00:17:44.840 We're not free yet.
00:17:46.900 Stay with us for more
00:17:47.800 with Sheila Gunn-Reed.
00:17:48.600 Joining us now from Edmonton
00:18:02.640 is Keith Wilson, QC,
00:18:04.520 the lawyer with the Justice Center
00:18:06.140 for Constitutional Freedoms
00:18:07.260 who is in charge
00:18:08.460 of Tamara Leach's call.
00:18:10.100 It was from him that we learned
00:18:11.600 that Tamara was arrested last night.
00:18:13.940 And this morning
00:18:14.680 there was a hearing,
00:18:16.500 I understand,
00:18:17.600 from Medicine Hat.
00:18:19.360 Keith, what can you tell us about it?
00:18:21.160 It comes as a shock,
00:18:22.220 but we shouldn't be surprised by it.
00:18:24.280 Tell us what you know.
00:18:26.160 Obviously, don't give away
00:18:27.200 any solicitor-client privilege,
00:18:28.700 but what are the facts
00:18:30.100 of what happened to Tamara?
00:18:32.180 Well, last night,
00:18:33.600 around 5 o'clock,
00:18:35.320 after she was leaving work
00:18:36.520 and heading home,
00:18:37.660 she lives in Medicine Hat, Alberta,
00:18:39.560 which is a city
00:18:41.760 in the southeastern part
00:18:43.380 of our province.
00:18:44.800 And they have their own police force,
00:18:47.320 the Medicine Hat Police.
00:18:49.600 And she was arrested.
00:18:51.780 And she was advised
00:18:53.580 that it was on a Canada-wide warrant
00:18:55.520 and she was taken
00:18:57.040 to the Remand Centre.
00:18:59.500 As you know, Ezra,
00:19:01.040 I'm a lawyer on a number of files
00:19:03.960 right now,
00:19:04.460 including dealing with
00:19:05.340 all of the various legal issues
00:19:06.580 around the Freedom Convoy
00:19:07.860 and Tamara and the others,
00:19:10.400 Emergencies Act Inquiry and so on.
00:19:12.000 But I'm not a criminal lawyer.
00:19:13.160 So we have a team of criminal lawyers.
00:19:14.640 So we mobilized to locate them
00:19:17.020 and get them in contact with her.
00:19:19.140 And they worked into the evening.
00:19:20.440 There was a hearing late last night
00:19:21.820 and another one today.
00:19:23.360 And the long and short of it is
00:19:25.420 is that she was arrested
00:19:26.680 for an allegation of breaching
00:19:29.680 one of her bail conditions.
00:19:31.020 And I'll speak to that in a moment
00:19:32.600 because that is troubling
00:19:35.440 about the nature of the alleged breach.
00:19:37.620 in its own right.
00:19:39.440 And the plan,
00:19:41.340 according to the Ottawa City Police,
00:19:43.320 is for them to fly out
00:19:44.560 some detectives tomorrow
00:19:46.720 to shackle her
00:19:49.000 and handcuff her
00:19:50.460 and fly her back to Ottawa
00:19:53.920 just in advance
00:19:55.180 of the Canada Day celebrations
00:19:58.220 and put her in jail there
00:19:59.820 where she can go
00:20:01.140 before a judge in Ontario,
00:20:04.300 hopefully before the weekend
00:20:05.440 and if not early next week
00:20:07.060 to see whether or not
00:20:09.180 what the consequences are
00:20:11.340 of the alleged breach
00:20:12.660 of the bail condition
00:20:13.400 or whether or not
00:20:14.180 she'll be released
00:20:15.500 on further conditions
00:20:16.540 or continue to be jailed.
00:20:18.220 You know, I couldn't help
00:20:20.620 but think Tamera Litch,
00:20:23.300 Métis grandma,
00:20:25.080 not accused of anything
00:20:26.520 other than what I call
00:20:28.000 political crimes,
00:20:28.800 no violence, of course,
00:20:31.120 shackled and escorted
00:20:33.080 across the country.
00:20:34.360 I was on an Air Canada
00:20:35.620 flight to Halifax
00:20:36.840 and the convicted,
00:20:39.060 confessed Al-Qaeda terrorist
00:20:40.660 and murderer Omar Khadar
00:20:42.040 was flying first class.
00:20:43.740 I was in economy class.
00:20:45.460 Omar Khadar,
00:20:47.100 who Trudeau took off
00:20:49.460 the terrorist no-fly list
00:20:51.500 as part of his deal,
00:20:53.480 $10.5 million payment,
00:20:54.860 public apology,
00:20:55.880 and taking him off
00:20:56.840 the no-fly list.
00:20:57.920 I was on an airplane
00:20:59.340 with Omar Khadar
00:21:00.860 who was sipping drinks
00:21:02.680 in first class
00:21:04.360 and Tamera Litch
00:21:06.360 is going to be shackled
00:21:08.220 and escorted
00:21:08.780 by two Ottawa cops
00:21:10.780 to sit in prison
00:21:12.460 in Ottawa
00:21:12.920 until another judge
00:21:14.160 gets around
00:21:14.820 to looking at this
00:21:16.440 alleged breach.
00:21:18.360 It is infuriating
00:21:19.580 and how could it be
00:21:20.300 anything other than
00:21:20.980 a political...
00:21:21.900 This is political
00:21:23.000 from top to bottom.
00:21:24.380 I'm outraged to hear.
00:21:25.520 Where is she right now?
00:21:26.720 Is she in Medicine Hat
00:21:27.640 jail right now?
00:21:28.580 We don't know.
00:21:29.520 We believe she's on the move.
00:21:31.340 Nope.
00:21:31.660 She's either at Remand
00:21:33.440 where she was earlier today
00:21:34.920 or she's being moved
00:21:36.080 to Lethbridge
00:21:36.840 or maybe the police
00:21:38.880 have arrived.
00:21:39.500 You can't...
00:21:40.340 It's not like, you know,
00:21:42.020 tracking your kid's iPhone here.
00:21:44.480 You just...
00:21:45.100 We're able to have
00:21:46.760 certain calls to her
00:21:47.680 and she's only able
00:21:48.680 to make certain calls
00:21:50.340 going out.
00:21:51.120 So I don't think
00:21:52.220 anything nefarious
00:21:52.920 is happening
00:21:53.420 in that sense
00:21:54.040 to be clear.
00:21:54.820 But let me highlight
00:21:58.280 something else
00:21:59.000 because it won't be
00:21:59.620 obvious to many.
00:22:02.060 You know,
00:22:02.440 we probably think,
00:22:03.420 well, Canada-wide warrant.
00:22:04.880 What's the big deal?
00:22:06.020 Well, if you're
00:22:06.440 a police officer
00:22:07.340 or you're
00:22:08.240 a criminal defense lawyer,
00:22:10.480 you know
00:22:11.220 that Canada-wide warrants
00:22:13.100 are extremely rare.
00:22:15.540 We use them
00:22:16.240 for the worst of the worst.
00:22:17.320 We use them
00:22:18.080 for murderers.
00:22:20.000 We use them
00:22:20.400 for serial rapists,
00:22:22.020 people engaged
00:22:22.940 in some kind
00:22:23.540 of bank robbery,
00:22:24.580 violence, spree.
00:22:25.900 You know,
00:22:26.080 that's the only time
00:22:26.920 they use these things.
00:22:28.980 So we're using that
00:22:30.660 for underlying crime
00:22:32.320 of counseling
00:22:33.200 to commit mischief.
00:22:35.760 That's it.
00:22:36.540 And then
00:22:37.080 they knew
00:22:38.860 where she was.
00:22:40.260 They know her routine.
00:22:41.920 She wasn't hiding
00:22:42.920 in an attic.
00:22:44.300 Yeah.
00:22:44.940 And so...
00:22:45.900 She was just
00:22:46.300 with Sheila Gunn-Reed
00:22:47.160 playing in her band
00:22:48.560 the other day.
00:22:49.300 Like, she's out and about.
00:22:50.860 It's not like
00:22:51.280 she's a fugitive.
00:22:52.240 They're treating her
00:22:52.840 like a fugitive.
00:22:53.960 I want to ask you,
00:22:55.040 and I'm sorry
00:22:55.440 to cut you off,
00:22:56.160 but I...
00:22:56.520 No, that's fine.
00:22:56.960 You mentioned it earlier,
00:22:58.400 and I just...
00:22:59.580 I'm so eager to hear.
00:23:02.240 The allegation,
00:23:03.820 the accusation,
00:23:07.500 was it really
00:23:08.720 because she
00:23:09.940 was in a selfie photo
00:23:11.900 with a bunch of people,
00:23:13.040 including another trucker,
00:23:14.920 and they're all...
00:23:15.800 You can see the photo.
00:23:16.900 They're all quiet,
00:23:18.120 posing for the photo.
00:23:19.400 No one's even talking.
00:23:20.820 This was at the
00:23:21.400 Justice Center
00:23:21.880 for Constitutional Freedom
00:23:22.780 gala dinner
00:23:23.440 in Toronto
00:23:23.940 a couple weeks ago.
00:23:25.220 Was it really that photo?
00:23:27.800 The Concei Ottawa Police
00:23:29.280 to issue a national warrant
00:23:31.100 for her arrest?
00:23:32.060 Tell me that's just
00:23:32.860 an internet rumor.
00:23:33.700 Is that true?
00:23:35.180 It is.
00:23:35.680 It is absolutely true.
00:23:37.880 We confirmed it.
00:23:39.220 That's it.
00:23:39.860 Was there anything else?
00:23:40.780 Was there anything else?
00:23:41.680 No.
00:23:42.560 I'm with you.
00:23:43.700 That selfie.
00:23:45.300 I know.
00:23:45.640 My line is...
00:23:46.640 I took a selfie with her.
00:23:47.860 What?
00:23:48.300 They didn't like her dress?
00:23:50.420 You know,
00:23:50.680 it wasn't formal enough?
00:23:51.840 But let me be more precise
00:23:53.260 about this.
00:23:54.760 So,
00:23:55.340 you have...
00:23:56.960 a number of
00:23:57.720 very well-dressed
00:23:58.880 men and women
00:23:59.640 like we like to do
00:24:01.240 occasionally now
00:24:02.000 that we're allowed
00:24:02.620 to go to banquets
00:24:03.720 and galas
00:24:04.340 and award dinners
00:24:05.180 and weddings
00:24:06.900 and other events.
00:24:09.480 She's there
00:24:10.280 getting a freedom of award.
00:24:12.060 One of the restrictions
00:24:12.960 on her bail conditions
00:24:14.220 is that she not
00:24:15.300 associate
00:24:16.160 or communicate
00:24:17.280 with certain individuals
00:24:18.660 except
00:24:19.860 in the presence
00:24:21.260 of counsel.
00:24:22.420 Ezra,
00:24:24.260 you were there.
00:24:25.180 You know,
00:24:25.600 there was lots
00:24:26.240 of lawyers
00:24:26.680 in the room.
00:24:27.580 Not only just lawyers
00:24:28.840 in the room,
00:24:30.000 Tamara's lawyers
00:24:31.020 were in the room
00:24:31.500 because I lead
00:24:32.180 two teams of them
00:24:33.600 and as well
00:24:35.380 as Tom Marazzo's
00:24:36.680 lawyers were there.
00:24:37.540 and so they have
00:24:40.460 a photograph
00:24:40.960 taken together
00:24:41.780 with the lawyers
00:24:42.460 off camera.
00:24:44.260 Tom Marazzo,
00:24:45.040 of course,
00:24:45.300 just so everybody's clear,
00:24:46.260 he's not just
00:24:46.940 any Canadian.
00:24:48.180 He's a retired
00:24:49.120 army officer.
00:24:50.220 He's an army
00:24:51.240 captain
00:24:51.880 who served
00:24:52.600 our country.
00:24:53.540 He's standing
00:24:54.560 there looking
00:24:55.120 distinguished
00:24:55.900 and in his
00:24:57.420 nice suit
00:24:58.320 with his haircut
00:24:59.180 and pressed
00:25:00.240 and,
00:25:00.860 you know,
00:25:02.180 just even looking
00:25:02.960 at that pictures
00:25:03.660 and you've got to put it
00:25:04.480 and you put it
00:25:05.140 on your screen
00:25:05.620 for the audience
00:25:06.320 to say to yourself
00:25:07.920 that taking a picture
00:25:10.460 like that
00:25:11.180 is enough
00:25:11.840 under Trudeau's Canada
00:25:13.200 to get a Canada-wide
00:25:15.200 warrant
00:25:15.520 and thrown in jail.
00:25:17.640 What is the wording
00:25:18.360 of the bail condition?
00:25:19.460 Because I think
00:25:20.800 I heard you say
00:25:21.400 associate
00:25:22.020 and I think
00:25:22.720 I heard you say
00:25:23.300 communicate
00:25:23.860 because they are standing.
00:25:26.280 It says communicate.
00:25:27.240 Sorry,
00:25:27.440 I misspoke.
00:25:28.160 I have it on my screen.
00:25:29.460 And the reason
00:25:30.280 I clarified that
00:25:31.720 is because you can see
00:25:33.000 their mouths
00:25:33.720 are closed.
00:25:35.480 They're standing
00:25:36.460 posing for a picture.
00:25:38.220 There was no
00:25:38.860 communication going on.
00:25:40.160 I'm sure you've posted
00:25:41.260 But even if there were,
00:25:42.080 even if there were,
00:25:43.840 there was a number
00:25:44.960 of lawyers
00:25:45.760 that just the day
00:25:47.380 before we had
00:25:48.260 finalized the application
00:25:49.800 where I was,
00:25:51.480 I received a letter
00:25:52.460 and we'll talk about
00:25:53.000 this in another program
00:25:53.760 from the lawyer,
00:25:55.840 one of the commission
00:25:56.440 counsel for the commissioner,
00:25:58.780 the retired judge
00:25:59.840 who's conducting
00:26:00.760 the public inquiry
00:26:01.800 into the invocations
00:26:02.840 of the Emergency Act.
00:26:03.880 They reached out to me
00:26:04.960 and said,
00:26:05.240 are you still representing
00:26:06.360 Tamara, Tom, Chris,
00:26:08.020 et cetera?
00:26:08.780 If you are,
00:26:09.560 please file an application
00:26:10.860 to participate
00:26:11.520 in our inquiry.
00:26:12.660 So I needed
00:26:13.600 to talk to them.
00:26:14.560 Some of the lawyers
00:26:15.300 on that team of mine
00:26:16.820 from the Justice Center
00:26:17.660 were in the room.
00:26:19.100 And you're making
00:26:21.640 an excellent technical defense,
00:26:23.160 but I would say
00:26:23.980 there was no communication.
00:26:26.740 I was in that room.
00:26:27.880 I had a selfie
00:26:29.140 with Tamara myself.
00:26:30.760 It was a lineup
00:26:31.600 of people who,
00:26:32.680 you know what it's like.
00:26:34.040 Everyone smile,
00:26:35.240 click.
00:26:35.860 Next,
00:26:36.280 everyone smile,
00:26:37.360 click.
00:26:37.820 The most that would
00:26:38.600 have been communicated
00:26:39.300 is hi,
00:26:40.360 hey,
00:26:41.100 bunched together.
00:26:41.800 It's so obviously
00:26:45.340 a stretch
00:26:46.080 and the timing.
00:26:47.500 That selfie
00:26:48.880 was posted
00:26:50.420 a couple weeks ago
00:26:51.580 and yet they waited
00:26:52.840 until now.
00:26:53.820 It's so clear
00:26:54.800 because they want
00:26:55.680 to take her out
00:26:56.320 of commission
00:26:56.860 during this second rally
00:26:59.620 in Ottawa
00:27:00.340 on Canada.
00:27:01.220 It couldn't be
00:27:01.980 more transparent.
00:27:03.280 It's infuriating to me.
00:27:04.580 But think about
00:27:05.200 one step further.
00:27:06.580 One step further.
00:27:08.500 What,
00:27:08.940 if they're worried
00:27:10.240 about the protests
00:27:12.060 that are planned
00:27:12.820 by others
00:27:13.660 that we've all heard
00:27:14.560 about going on
00:27:15.320 in Ottawa
00:27:15.680 remaining peaceful,
00:27:17.880 isn't it a provocative
00:27:18.780 move to bring her
00:27:20.500 from Medicine Hat
00:27:21.800 and put her in the jail
00:27:23.340 in downtown Ottawa?
00:27:24.720 Isn't that a provocative move?
00:27:26.580 This is very concerning.
00:27:28.140 It seems like
00:27:28.760 when you were in Ottawa
00:27:30.320 and many people observed this,
00:27:32.180 the police were looking
00:27:33.100 for a fight.
00:27:34.180 They were looking
00:27:34.640 to do provocative things
00:27:36.000 and the truckers
00:27:36.940 always kept their cool.
00:27:38.280 They followed
00:27:38.760 Jordan Peterson's advice.
00:27:39.940 They kept their cool.
00:27:41.380 And then here it seems
00:27:42.300 like they're being
00:27:42.840 provocative again.
00:27:44.440 Well, here's a question
00:27:45.500 I have for you
00:27:46.200 because in the last two years
00:27:48.140 my esteem for police,
00:27:50.440 not all police,
00:27:51.380 but for brass
00:27:52.140 and certain police forces
00:27:53.220 has plummeted.
00:27:54.080 I no longer,
00:27:55.200 my default stance
00:27:56.640 is get to know
00:27:58.880 any police officer
00:27:59.820 before you judge.
00:28:00.620 My default stance
00:28:01.240 used to be
00:28:01.760 cops are our friends.
00:28:03.440 Now I know
00:28:04.220 there are some brutal
00:28:05.280 partisan cops
00:28:06.160 who just learned a lot
00:28:06.960 about Brenda Lucky,
00:28:08.320 the RCMP commissioner,
00:28:09.400 being a total
00:28:10.120 partisan slave
00:28:11.120 to Trudeau.
00:28:11.980 And the Ottawa police
00:28:13.420 is notoriously abusive.
00:28:15.060 They got rid
00:28:15.560 of their earlier police chief
00:28:16.780 who clearly wasn't
00:28:17.900 willing to go the distance
00:28:18.920 of their interim police chief.
00:28:20.580 I know this
00:28:21.220 because one of our
00:28:22.080 own reporters,
00:28:23.280 Alexa Lavoie,
00:28:23.880 was shot in the leg
00:28:25.020 for peaceful.
00:28:26.400 She wasn't even protesting.
00:28:27.820 She was reporting
00:28:28.520 this is an extremely
00:28:29.860 abusive police force.
00:28:31.040 We've seen them
00:28:31.600 manhandle people.
00:28:33.060 We've seen
00:28:33.500 their
00:28:34.660 unconstitutional conduct.
00:28:37.320 Here's the reason
00:28:38.060 I'm saying this.
00:28:40.080 Medicine Hat police
00:28:41.220 have an obligation,
00:28:43.280 I suppose,
00:28:44.320 to enforce
00:28:45.120 a nationwide warrant
00:28:46.520 if there was a murder
00:28:47.280 or a rapist on the loose.
00:28:48.920 But for something
00:28:49.600 so clearly
00:28:50.440 what lawyers
00:28:52.080 would say in Latin,
00:28:53.240 de minimis non curat vex,
00:28:54.860 laws don't consider,
00:28:55.980 the law doesn't care
00:28:56.920 about trivialities.
00:28:58.440 Like if you're going
00:28:59.100 51 in a 50 zone,
00:29:00.480 the law doesn't care
00:29:01.160 about triviality.
00:29:02.400 If you're in a selfie,
00:29:04.840 not even talking,
00:29:05.880 and there's another trucker
00:29:07.340 in the selfie
00:29:07.900 and you're going
00:29:08.680 to send two police
00:29:09.740 across the country,
00:29:10.900 put someone in shackles,
00:29:12.240 fly them,
00:29:12.740 that's insane.
00:29:13.920 Is there not something
00:29:15.220 that the Medicine Hat police
00:29:16.500 would say,
00:29:16.940 you know what?
00:29:18.340 This is so obviously absurd.
00:29:21.040 We want to double check this.
00:29:23.060 We're going to pump the brakes.
00:29:24.660 We're not saying no.
00:29:25.620 We just want to make
00:29:26.240 more inquiries
00:29:27.100 because you're crazy.
00:29:29.000 I mean,
00:29:31.700 99.9% of the time
00:29:33.780 another cop
00:29:34.400 in another jurisdiction
00:29:35.200 says, hey,
00:29:35.680 we got a bad dude
00:29:36.520 in your neck and woods
00:29:37.280 to help us out.
00:29:37.900 Yeah, partner,
00:29:39.060 we're both in this together.
00:29:40.500 We're all on team
00:29:41.320 law enforcement.
00:29:42.780 But you're in
00:29:43.840 the Medicine Hat police
00:29:44.840 and you get a request
00:29:46.820 to go to someone's home
00:29:48.300 and arrest them
00:29:48.860 and put them in jail
00:29:49.540 because they're in a selfie.
00:29:51.280 Don't you have
00:29:51.880 some sort of dude
00:29:52.840 at a Freedom Award dinner?
00:29:54.680 Yeah.
00:29:55.080 Don't you think,
00:29:55.900 well, you know what?
00:29:57.280 I'm just,
00:29:57.820 before I just comply,
00:29:59.780 I'm not saying no,
00:30:00.920 but I'm just going to get
00:30:01.900 maybe some legal advice
00:30:03.560 of our own.
00:30:04.360 Maybe I'm going to kick this up
00:30:05.480 to the brass.
00:30:07.140 Maybe I'm just going to be
00:30:07.900 a little more careful
00:30:08.680 before I allow
00:30:10.320 an out-of-control police force
00:30:11.900 that's a disgrace to Ottawa
00:30:13.200 to infect our policing
00:30:16.100 in Medicine Hat.
00:30:17.760 Am I wrong?
00:30:18.180 I mean, I don't know enough
00:30:19.040 about how police proceed,
00:30:20.760 but just because
00:30:22.100 some out-of-control cop
00:30:23.780 in Ottawa
00:30:24.500 is doing the bidding
00:30:26.080 of Justin Trudeau,
00:30:27.180 doesn't mean the cops
00:30:28.740 in Medicine Hat
00:30:29.980 need to jump
00:30:31.340 to compliance.
00:30:32.540 I'm not saying
00:30:33.060 that they even have
00:30:33.780 the legal right
00:30:34.440 to say no,
00:30:35.420 but maybe they can
00:30:36.340 ask some due diligence
00:30:37.660 questions before
00:30:38.660 being patsies
00:30:39.840 for Trudeau.
00:30:40.460 And from what the former
00:30:43.200 police officer,
00:30:46.680 RCMP officer,
00:30:47.580 Danny Bulford,
00:30:48.240 who you know
00:30:48.700 was heavily involved
00:30:49.840 in the convoy
00:30:50.500 and still is one
00:30:51.360 of my clients,
00:30:52.300 he explained to me
00:30:53.020 yesterday that this
00:30:53.940 Canada-wide warrant
00:30:54.700 is very unusual
00:30:55.380 and it does have
00:30:56.400 this kind of binding
00:30:57.120 effect,
00:30:57.740 unlike a provincial-based
00:30:59.240 warrant from another
00:31:00.020 jurisdiction where they
00:31:00.920 often don't do
00:31:01.800 anything on them.
00:31:02.960 But I want to say
00:31:04.100 this,
00:31:05.740 Tamara wanted
00:31:06.900 two messages
00:31:08.040 to get out.
00:31:09.000 One was,
00:31:10.440 tell Canada,
00:31:11.280 let them know
00:31:11.840 what's happened to me.
00:31:13.260 And the other one
00:31:14.020 is,
00:31:15.200 in the same way
00:31:15.880 that everybody
00:31:16.380 remained peaceful
00:31:17.260 when they were
00:31:18.460 protesting in Ottawa,
00:31:19.760 she doesn't want
00:31:20.520 people to fall
00:31:21.240 for the Prime Minister
00:31:22.260 and the police
00:31:23.100 goons' bait.
00:31:24.360 She wants
00:31:24.980 them to remain
00:31:25.960 peaceful because
00:31:26.740 that's how we
00:31:27.560 show them out
00:31:28.380 to be the
00:31:29.240 authoritarian thugs
00:31:31.540 that they are.
00:31:32.900 And she knows
00:31:33.760 people are upset,
00:31:34.700 she's upset,
00:31:35.440 I'm upset,
00:31:36.660 but we need
00:31:37.540 to remain calm
00:31:38.520 and peaceful
00:31:39.300 and keep advocating
00:31:41.020 for a restoration
00:31:41.740 of our rights
00:31:42.740 and hold the line
00:31:43.760 for the rule of law
00:31:44.720 and respect for the
00:31:45.640 Charter and stop
00:31:46.440 this authoritarianism
00:31:47.600 that is becoming
00:31:48.280 prevalent in our country.
00:31:50.080 Yeah.
00:31:50.400 You know,
00:31:50.940 I think it behooves
00:31:52.020 every leadership
00:31:53.300 candidate in the
00:31:54.360 federal Conservative
00:31:55.840 Party of Canada
00:31:56.680 and the provincial
00:31:57.680 Alberta,
00:31:59.040 do not a Conservative
00:31:59.860 Party,
00:32:00.340 to say what
00:32:01.520 they think about
00:32:02.040 this and
00:32:02.700 even if they
00:32:05.200 just say I'm
00:32:05.720 uncomfortable with
00:32:06.600 it,
00:32:07.340 that's more than
00:32:08.540 nothing.
00:32:09.820 Even if they
00:32:10.540 just say this
00:32:11.160 doesn't feel like
00:32:11.980 Canada,
00:32:12.680 there must be
00:32:13.480 something more,
00:32:14.820 I'd like to hear
00:32:15.520 an explanation.
00:32:16.880 They don't have
00:32:17.300 to come to a
00:32:18.580 conclusion,
00:32:19.100 but they have
00:32:19.580 to show some
00:32:20.820 curiosity and
00:32:21.680 some discomfort
00:32:22.340 with things
00:32:23.000 because if this
00:32:23.860 is the new
00:32:24.300 normal where
00:32:25.460 it is a
00:32:26.300 national crime
00:32:27.400 on the kind
00:32:29.280 of police
00:32:30.200 level as
00:32:31.160 a murder
00:32:32.020 on the
00:32:32.440 loose,
00:32:32.960 that someone
00:32:33.540 has a
00:32:34.140 politically
00:32:34.800 incorrect selfie
00:32:35.560 and I say
00:32:36.680 again,
00:32:37.220 they were not
00:32:37.960 communicating in
00:32:38.860 that photo.
00:32:39.700 That photo is not
00:32:40.460 evidence of
00:32:41.000 communication.
00:32:41.580 In fact,
00:32:41.820 it's the opposite.
00:32:42.760 It's evidence of
00:32:43.420 non-communication.
00:32:44.280 Their mouths
00:32:44.620 are shut.
00:32:46.920 I think that
00:32:47.760 every,
00:32:49.800 lately,
00:32:52.060 federal
00:32:52.460 Conservatives
00:32:53.040 have been trying
00:32:53.640 to get some
00:32:54.220 of the political
00:32:55.200 capital of the
00:32:55.920 truckers.
00:32:56.380 They're meeting
00:32:56.680 with the truckers
00:32:57.320 and I say
00:32:57.720 better late than
00:32:58.360 never and I'm
00:32:59.320 glad.
00:32:59.840 Okay,
00:33:00.220 well,
00:33:00.400 let's see if
00:33:00.860 you meant it
00:33:01.520 because now
00:33:02.540 Tamera Leach
00:33:03.640 is in jail
00:33:04.280 in an absurdly
00:33:05.700 political police
00:33:06.740 move and we
00:33:07.740 need to hear
00:33:08.160 that that's
00:33:08.540 wrong.
00:33:08.840 We need to
00:33:09.200 hear that the
00:33:10.940 police are
00:33:11.500 subordinate
00:33:12.080 to civilian
00:33:13.000 rule of law.
00:33:14.280 They're not
00:33:15.080 part of the
00:33:15.880 partisan system
00:33:16.740 and they don't
00:33:17.340 trump our
00:33:17.940 charter rights.
00:33:19.000 I'm very mad
00:33:19.540 about this.
00:33:20.420 Keith, let me
00:33:20.880 throw it back to
00:33:21.500 you for a final
00:33:22.160 comment.
00:33:22.580 You told us
00:33:23.100 Tamera Leach's
00:33:24.020 two thoughts,
00:33:24.980 spread the word
00:33:25.740 and stay
00:33:26.180 peaceful.
00:33:26.620 We're having
00:33:27.940 a petition
00:33:28.500 at freetamera.ca
00:33:32.200 and last I
00:33:33.380 checked we had
00:33:33.800 over 25,000
00:33:35.120 people signing
00:33:36.000 that.
00:33:36.720 I don't know
00:33:37.280 what good
00:33:37.700 that's going
00:33:38.120 to do because
00:33:38.720 Trudeau doesn't
00:33:39.580 care 25,000
00:33:40.620 250,000
00:33:42.720 2.5 million.
00:33:44.340 He, in fact,
00:33:45.840 probably the more
00:33:46.720 numbers there are
00:33:47.340 the angrier he
00:33:48.180 will be.
00:33:49.000 But I think it's
00:33:49.580 important to show
00:33:50.300 that this is not
00:33:51.060 normal in Canada.
00:33:52.480 Last word to
00:33:52.980 you, my friend.
00:33:54.160 Well, I think we
00:33:54.720 all have a not
00:33:55.320 responsibility as
00:33:56.360 Canadians and in
00:33:57.900 my instance, you
00:33:58.680 know, as a
00:33:59.000 husband and a
00:33:59.600 father and a
00:34:01.380 neighbour and a
00:34:02.060 member of my
00:34:02.620 community to help
00:34:04.260 other Canadians who
00:34:05.820 aren't currently
00:34:06.440 politically active to
00:34:07.940 understand we are
00:34:08.780 in a serious time
00:34:10.440 in our country and
00:34:11.700 they need to add
00:34:13.560 their voice.
00:34:14.340 They need to help
00:34:15.280 people understand
00:34:16.120 that these things
00:34:16.640 are really happening
00:34:17.440 and they're really
00:34:18.100 wrong and they need
00:34:18.860 to be corrected
00:34:19.560 because Canada is
00:34:21.380 worth saving.
00:34:22.900 True North Strong
00:34:23.540 and free is in
00:34:25.000 tough shape and
00:34:26.560 but Canadians who
00:34:27.960 care about their
00:34:28.440 country and their
00:34:29.060 communities and their
00:34:29.960 future for their
00:34:30.700 families need to
00:34:31.920 speak up, talk to
00:34:33.320 politicians, talk to
00:34:34.580 their neighbours.
00:34:35.540 We need to shift the
00:34:36.400 tide.
00:34:36.800 It's growing more and
00:34:38.460 more.
00:34:38.720 I think Canadians are
00:34:39.540 very concerned about
00:34:40.760 what they've seen with
00:34:41.740 their governments with
00:34:42.500 COVID and all these
00:34:43.360 other things and and
00:34:45.040 what they're doing to
00:34:45.800 Tamara is just a
00:34:46.660 really powerful example
00:34:48.980 of how bad the
00:34:50.700 authoritarians are
00:34:51.740 running our lives.
00:34:52.520 Yeah, well Keith
00:34:54.640 you've certainly done
00:34:56.900 a great deal of
00:34:58.220 good not just by
00:34:59.020 helping Tamara but
00:34:59.820 of course you and I
00:35:00.820 have spoken on
00:35:01.460 several occasions
00:35:02.200 about for example
00:35:03.180 your lawsuit
00:35:04.940 challenging the
00:35:06.480 airplane bans and
00:35:07.800 that lawsuit is
00:35:08.500 still proceeding
00:35:09.020 with Brian Peckford
00:35:09.840 as one of the
00:35:10.300 plaintiffs.
00:35:10.980 Very important
00:35:11.800 charter challenge.
00:35:13.020 I know you're
00:35:13.420 representing a number
00:35:14.220 of truckers.
00:35:15.280 You and I have
00:35:15.660 talked several times.
00:35:16.500 I'm really grateful
00:35:17.060 to you for your
00:35:17.640 time.
00:35:18.300 I know you're so
00:35:18.960 busy actually doing
00:35:20.380 the lawyering that
00:35:21.760 you don't often
00:35:22.680 have a lot of time
00:35:23.440 to do the talking
00:35:24.140 about lawyering but
00:35:25.260 I actually think
00:35:25.880 it's important that
00:35:26.560 people know there
00:35:27.140 are good guys doing
00:35:28.060 it.
00:35:28.700 I praise the Justice
00:35:29.860 Center for
00:35:30.320 Constitutional
00:35:30.860 Freedom sets the
00:35:32.040 charity with whom
00:35:32.760 you work and we
00:35:33.380 love John Carpe
00:35:34.280 their leader and
00:35:35.020 and and we like to
00:35:37.820 tell your story
00:35:38.620 because sometimes the
00:35:39.500 mainstream media
00:35:40.280 either doesn't tell
00:35:41.640 it at all or tells
00:35:42.740 it in a dismissive
00:35:43.620 way but I think the
00:35:45.360 work you're doing is
00:35:45.920 very important so I
00:35:46.660 salute you and I
00:35:47.780 know our viewers
00:35:48.380 do too so I think
00:35:50.980 what you're doing is
00:35:51.580 important to Tamara
00:35:52.260 but it's important
00:35:52.920 for the whole
00:35:53.360 country so keep it
00:35:54.620 up my friend and I
00:35:55.480 hope that we keep
00:35:56.660 in touch and I hope
00:35:57.320 that the next time we
00:35:58.140 talk it's for good
00:35:59.360 news.
00:36:00.700 Thank you very much
00:36:01.260 Ezra I appreciate
00:36:01.840 it.
00:36:02.740 Okay take care there
00:36:03.720 he is Keith Wilson
00:36:04.460 QC the lawyer for
00:36:06.100 Tamara Leach stay
00:36:06.780 with us my final
00:36:07.560 thoughts are next.
00:36:17.780 There you have it
00:36:20.480 Keith Wilson QC
00:36:21.500 excellent lawyer I'm
00:36:22.700 so very glad that
00:36:24.040 he's fighting the
00:36:24.600 battles he is I'll
00:36:26.060 be back in Toronto
00:36:27.020 tomorrow I really
00:36:27.760 enjoyed my two-day
00:36:28.620 visit here in Calgary
00:36:30.660 even though I
00:36:31.000 haven't had my
00:36:31.620 studio with me I'm
00:36:32.820 grateful to the team
00:36:33.600 out here I'm excited
00:36:34.340 that we've got a
00:36:35.260 great team in
00:36:36.000 temporary offices here
00:36:38.140 in Calgary that we're
00:36:39.080 renting but I should
00:36:39.840 have news for you
00:36:40.460 soon about more
00:36:41.500 permanent offices it's
00:36:42.720 been my goal to have
00:36:44.080 our own place in
00:36:45.040 Calgary like I say
00:36:47.220 tough day for
00:36:48.920 freedom we can't
00:36:50.700 take it for granted
00:36:51.400 the battle is not
00:36:52.280 over I'm worried
00:36:53.320 that Trudeau and
00:36:54.300 others still have the
00:36:55.280 power even the
00:36:56.580 premiers still have
00:36:57.240 the power to put us
00:36:58.760 under lockdowns again
00:36:59.780 I think it comes down
00:37:01.940 to us to stand up
00:37:03.240 for our freedom I'm
00:37:04.000 not sure we did a
00:37:04.680 great job the first
00:37:05.460 time around hopefully
00:37:06.580 we'll do a better
00:37:07.120 job now thanks for
00:37:09.580 watching until tomorrow
00:37:10.560 on behalf of all us
00:37:11.980 here at the rebels
00:37:13.240 Western outpost to
00:37:14.740 you at home good
00:37:16.060 night and keep
00:37:17.200 fighting for freedom
00:37:18.040 protect our freedoms
00:37:19.300 civil liberties are
00:37:21.520 eroding before our
00:37:22.440 very eyes and if we
00:37:23.620 do not act fast and
00:37:24.880 now there will be
00:37:26.040 none left people you
00:37:27.720 let the government
00:37:28.260 into our bodies
00:37:29.460 we're going to
00:37:30.460 return sanity to
00:37:31.820 Albany and we're
00:37:32.680 going to allow every
00:37:33.760 single New Yorker to
00:37:35.180 make their own health
00:37:36.400 decisions on this
00:37:37.660 period period ladies
00:37:39.380 and gentlemen and
00:37:40.340 it starts on day one
00:37:41.580 this isn't about health
00:37:42.940 this is about control
00:37:44.200 global control of the
00:37:45.940 global working class
00:37:47.360 I'm Jeremy Lafredo
00:37:51.460 for rebel news
00:37:52.120 outside of New York
00:37:52.940 City's health
00:37:53.480 department where
00:37:54.400 activists teachers and
00:37:55.540 parents have organized
00:37:56.820 a hands-off hour kids
00:37:58.680 rally to protest
00:38:00.320 medical mandates on
00:38:01.280 children earlier this
00:38:02.260 week New Yorkers
00:38:03.120 gathered in downtown
00:38:04.120 Manhattan in front of
00:38:05.140 the city's health
00:38:05.820 department to protest
00:38:06.800 against the CDC's
00:38:08.060 recommendation of the
00:38:08.980 COVID vaccine for
00:38:09.840 toddlers and babies
00:38:10.780 and the possible
00:38:11.600 mandating of the jab
00:38:12.680 for NYC's school
00:38:13.920 children New Yorkers
00:38:15.140 shared their concerns
00:38:15.860 about government
00:38:16.460 shipping away at
00:38:17.300 parental rights and
00:38:18.300 the need to protect
00:38:18.980 their children against
00:38:19.980 the pharmaceutical
00:38:20.560 industry's capture of
00:38:21.760 public health agencies
00:38:22.700 in the beginning they
00:38:24.320 preached about how
00:38:25.440 everything was safe and
00:38:26.400 effective and that if
00:38:27.660 you got the shot you
00:38:28.720 were not going to get
00:38:29.560 COVID you was going to
00:38:30.940 spread it here we are
00:38:32.700 two years later and
00:38:34.180 people are still
00:38:34.960 catching it people are
00:38:35.800 still spreading it
00:38:36.640 kids don't need it
00:38:38.460 kids have much better
00:38:39.960 immune systems than
00:38:40.940 most of us adults
00:38:41.960 most kids are
00:38:43.380 generally healthy
00:38:44.600 are your kids in the
00:38:45.720 New York City public
00:38:46.360 school system and did
00:38:48.200 you vaccinate them
00:38:48.940 no and I don't plan
00:38:50.280 on doing it they're
00:38:51.240 unmasked they're
00:38:52.020 unvaccinated they're
00:38:52.760 going to stay that way
00:38:53.580 natural the way that
00:38:54.440 they were born
00:38:54.960 well we have to
00:38:55.800 protect our children
00:38:56.720 we're the we're
00:38:57.560 their only defense they
00:38:58.720 can't defend themselves
00:38:59.640 and right now I feel
00:39:02.480 that there is a system
00:39:05.020 preying on our
00:39:05.920 children you know for
00:39:07.100 profit pretty much in
00:39:08.800 power and
00:39:09.940 so I just I don't
00:39:12.560 trust the entire
00:39:13.440 establishment so I
00:39:14.480 always say very
00:39:15.100 blanket things that
00:39:16.120 are a bit extreme
00:39:17.120 but I just think
00:39:17.980 that the entire
00:39:19.400 system is so corrupt
00:39:20.400 that we cannot trust
00:39:21.560 our children with
00:39:22.320 them and that's
00:39:23.580 really it's a
00:39:24.320 simple message but
00:39:25.100 that's it and
00:39:26.000 Fauci got COVID
00:39:27.520 so if Fauci got
00:39:29.340 COVID these things
00:39:31.040 that he's forcing
00:39:31.780 on everyone else
00:39:32.600 don't seem to make
00:39:33.240 a lot of sense
00:39:34.020 kids have no risk
00:39:35.880 almost zero risk
00:39:36.860 from COVID it's
00:39:37.680 not even um
00:39:38.640 quantify it you
00:39:39.900 can't even quantify
00:39:40.800 it on a chart
00:39:41.680 this is obviously
00:39:43.160 to get the COVID
00:39:44.460 vaccine as a
00:39:45.400 scheduled uh vaccine
00:39:46.840 so everyone takes
00:39:47.780 it it's forced
00:39:48.380 it's a money grab
00:39:49.300 a power grab
00:39:50.060 from big pharma
00:39:50.800 well I was working
00:39:52.560 in the New York City
00:39:53.440 Department of Education
00:39:54.360 and I witnessed many
00:39:55.260 children crying
00:39:56.000 because they did not
00:39:56.760 want to get the PCR
00:39:57.880 test and they did not
00:39:58.880 want to wear the mask
00:39:59.680 so for me that's a
00:40:00.760 little abusive
00:40:01.360 and I think it's the
00:40:02.840 right of the parents
00:40:03.500 to decide what they
00:40:04.220 want to do
00:40:04.780 especially the schools
00:40:06.180 are being run
00:40:06.840 by the parents
00:40:07.580 tax dollars
00:40:08.240 um no government
00:40:10.240 agency has any
00:40:11.540 authority over
00:40:12.280 someone else's child
00:40:13.180 and so the mandates
00:40:14.360 have to end
00:40:15.060 because again
00:40:16.020 it should be
00:40:16.440 everyone's choice
00:40:17.100 and coercion
00:40:18.100 in my opinion
00:40:18.560 is not consent
00:40:19.180 that many people
00:40:19.700 that do not
00:40:20.380 want to abide by
00:40:21.340 the mandates
00:40:21.760 but they feel
00:40:22.560 powerless
00:40:23.100 and so they go
00:40:24.220 along with the
00:40:24.780 agenda
00:40:25.080 because they need
00:40:26.100 their jobs
00:40:26.600 or because they
00:40:27.640 have no other
00:40:28.360 choice but to keep
00:40:29.020 their children
00:40:29.600 inside the school
00:40:30.260 system
00:40:30.620 and so I believe
00:40:32.000 that the Department
00:40:33.580 of Health
00:40:33.940 and the government
00:40:34.360 agencies are
00:40:35.440 preying on the
00:40:36.840 ignorance and the
00:40:37.980 innocence of a lot
00:40:38.780 of parents that do
00:40:39.360 not have the
00:40:39.960 informed consent
00:40:40.780 this is by far
00:40:43.140 one of the most
00:40:44.400 important things
00:40:45.560 that we can do
00:40:46.260 is protect our
00:40:46.960 freedoms
00:40:47.420 civil liberties
00:40:49.300 are eroding
00:40:50.140 before our very
00:40:50.860 eyes and if we
00:40:51.820 do not act fast
00:40:52.880 and now there
00:40:53.880 will be none
00:40:54.500 left people
00:40:55.240 you let the
00:40:56.180 government into
00:40:56.860 our bodies
00:40:57.660 we let the
00:40:59.660 government tell
00:41:00.500 us dangling our
00:41:02.280 livelihoods in our
00:41:03.220 faces and say
00:41:04.920 if you don't get
00:41:06.600 this you can't
00:41:07.680 make a living
00:41:08.340 if you don't get
00:41:09.820 this you can't
00:41:10.540 participate in
00:41:11.280 society you can't
00:41:12.640 eat in restaurants
00:41:13.460 you can't watch
00:41:14.860 a movie
00:41:15.480 bask in some art
00:41:17.160 in some museums
00:41:17.940 this is absolute
00:41:19.700 insanity this is a
00:41:20.680 two-tiered society
00:41:21.860 okay we are
00:41:22.560 regressing as a
00:41:24.100 society
00:41:24.720 Andrew Giuliani
00:41:25.860 son of former
00:41:26.700 New York City
00:41:27.240 Mayor Rudy Giuliani
00:41:28.260 is running for
00:41:29.000 governor and made
00:41:29.760 an appearance at
00:41:30.380 the rally
00:41:30.700 he promised
00:41:31.500 New Yorkers
00:41:32.000 who were fired
00:41:32.520 because of the
00:41:33.000 city's mandate
00:41:33.540 their jobs back
00:41:34.520 we're going to
00:41:35.420 return sanity
00:41:36.240 to Albany
00:41:37.240 and we're going
00:41:37.740 to allow
00:41:38.160 every single
00:41:39.100 New Yorker
00:41:39.740 to make their
00:41:40.660 own health
00:41:41.360 decisions on
00:41:42.340 this period
00:41:43.280 period ladies
00:41:44.340 and gentlemen
00:41:44.880 and it starts
00:41:45.780 on day one
00:41:46.540 it starts by
00:41:47.860 making sure
00:41:48.500 every single
00:41:49.560 New Yorker
00:41:50.260 as we said
00:41:51.120 before who
00:41:52.040 lost their job
00:41:53.060 gets their job
00:41:54.200 back with
00:41:55.040 back pay
00:41:55.800 what I want
00:41:56.600 to add to
00:41:57.080 that too
00:41:57.600 is any
00:41:58.520 single
00:41:58.940 New Yorker
00:41:59.600 we have to
00:42:00.080 figure out
00:42:00.380 how to
00:42:00.600 do this
00:42:01.120 but we are
00:42:01.640 going to
00:42:02.000 start exploring
00:42:02.820 this in the
00:42:03.640 first week
00:42:04.120 of the
00:42:04.380 administration
00:42:04.960 any single
00:42:06.180 New Yorker
00:42:06.920 certainly a
00:42:07.720 state employee
00:42:08.300 I think we
00:42:08.740 could do
00:42:08.980 this on
00:42:09.420 that was
00:42:10.060 coerced
00:42:10.760 into getting
00:42:11.540 this
00:42:11.860 that ended
00:42:12.720 up having
00:42:13.180 a vaccine
00:42:14.060 injury
00:42:14.520 I truly
00:42:15.660 believe
00:42:16.240 that the
00:42:16.940 state
00:42:17.240 needs to
00:42:18.160 be
00:42:18.320 responsible
00:42:18.940 for some
00:42:19.620 of the
00:42:19.840 liability
00:42:20.320 we need
00:42:21.160 massive
00:42:21.680 public
00:42:22.260 pushback
00:42:23.480 right now
00:42:23.860 because they're
00:42:24.400 not here
00:42:24.720 they're not
00:42:25.060 protecting us
00:42:25.680 their main
00:42:26.540 job
00:42:26.940 their main
00:42:27.480 role
00:42:27.780 is to
00:42:28.340 protect
00:42:28.600 the public
00:42:29.120 and they're
00:42:30.180 not doing
00:42:30.580 that
00:42:30.760 they're doing
00:42:31.120 the opposite
00:42:31.560 they're putting
00:42:32.080 them in danger
00:42:32.740 so if you
00:42:33.820 have a child
00:42:34.300 out there
00:42:34.780 protect your
00:42:35.520 child at all
00:42:35.980 cost
00:42:36.240 do not give
00:42:36.820 them these
00:42:37.720 shots because
00:42:38.460 the data shows
00:42:39.480 that they're
00:42:39.760 very dangerous
00:42:40.480 I'm saying
00:42:41.060 parents that
00:42:41.580 don't want to
00:42:42.080 vaccinate your
00:42:42.760 kids
00:42:43.140 you should
00:42:43.820 take your
00:42:44.200 kids out
00:42:44.780 and go
00:42:45.280 to homeschool
00:42:46.060 homeschool them
00:42:47.140 homeschool them
00:42:48.280 don't
00:42:49.680 don't
00:42:50.460 do something
00:42:51.520 that your
00:42:51.800 government
00:42:52.060 wants you
00:42:52.440 to do
00:42:52.640 to your
00:42:52.860 child
00:42:53.280 the children
00:42:54.300 of our
00:42:54.680 future
00:42:55.100 and I
00:42:56.300 believe
00:42:56.620 this is
00:42:57.240 part of
00:42:57.780 a whole
00:42:58.240 mad scheme
00:42:59.700 by the
00:43:00.380 eugenicist
00:43:02.060 billionaires
00:43:02.780 like Bill Gates
00:43:03.840 to enslave us
00:43:05.220 or depopulate us
00:43:06.500 want to look
00:43:07.640 at Van Der
00:43:08.360 Peel's book
00:43:09.180 P.I.J.L
00:43:10.180 States of Emergency
00:43:11.900 Keeping the Global
00:43:12.800 Population
00:43:13.480 in check
00:43:14.200 this is why
00:43:15.820 there's no
00:43:16.320 science behind
00:43:17.040 any of these
00:43:17.560 shots
00:43:18.020 there's no
00:43:19.200 possible
00:43:20.200 scientific reason
00:43:21.240 to inoculate
00:43:22.120 our children
00:43:22.860 this isn't about
00:43:24.140 health
00:43:24.500 this is about
00:43:25.300 control
00:43:25.740 global control
00:43:27.160 of the global
00:43:27.840 working class
00:43:28.900 by the way
