00:00:00.000 Tonight, why conservatives should not support hate speech rules, and Jews shouldn't either.
00:00:20.620 It's May 3rd, and this is The Ezra LeVant Show.
00:00:23.300 You fighting for freedom!
00:00:26.160 Shame on you, you censorious bug!
00:00:30.000 Oh, it's been bothering me for months, Bill C-63 in Canada, Trudeau's so-called Online
00:00:44.220 Harms Act, which is basically a censorship law.
00:00:47.040 It is despised by the people.
00:00:48.760 Nobody wanted it, other than people in the professional grievance industry who were delighted
00:00:53.300 about it.
00:00:54.200 But I was disappointed, but not surprised to see that the official Jews of Canada have
00:00:59.580 endorsed C-63.
00:01:01.420 I know why.
00:01:02.580 It's a combination of reasons.
00:01:04.000 For one thing, they get massive grants from Justin Trudeau, as do most ethnic groups in
00:01:09.780 this country.
00:01:10.180 So, you know, if you pay a lobby group hundreds of thousands of dollars, odds are they'll support
00:01:16.400 you when you ask for their support.
00:01:17.940 So it's a shame that the Jewish community sold out to Trudeau for a few bucks.
00:01:21.780 A more friendly interpretation would be that Jews are so desperate for relief from the wave
00:01:28.420 of anti-Semitism out there that they'll cotton on anything.
00:01:32.380 And if they look at a law that says, we'll ban mean words online, well, why not support
00:01:38.200 it?
00:01:38.320 Well, there's some good reasons why not to support it.
00:01:41.340 And that's on the Canadian side.
00:01:42.780 The United States did something not as dramatic.
00:01:45.920 They didn't bring in a massive censorship law, but what they did do is adopt an official
00:01:51.700 definition of anti-Semitism.
00:01:55.000 I mean, that's useful.
00:01:56.120 What is anti-Semitism?
00:01:57.640 The government has an opinion.
00:01:58.960 Each of us can have an opinion.
00:02:01.020 I know why the American Congress did that, because they're appalled by Hamas.
00:02:05.260 They want to show their solidarity with the Jewish community.
00:02:07.500 But same thing.
00:02:08.520 When the government gets into the hurt feelings business, it's not going to end well.
00:02:13.380 I am sure that the American Congress is well-meaning, and there might even be some people who are
00:02:18.560 well-meaning who support Trudeau's censorship.
00:02:21.600 But I'm pretty sure I know how it's going to be used.
00:02:25.240 Take a look at this video from some nameless Canadian cabinet minister.
00:02:29.440 Really, their identities really aren't important.
00:02:31.880 There's only a handful of Canadian cabinet ministers who make decisions.
00:02:35.760 Take a look at this announcement of, what, a quarter billion dollars.
00:02:39.580 Actually, it's altogether more than a billion dollars to crack down on the human emotion
00:02:44.540 called hate.
00:02:45.440 Take a look.
00:02:46.160 Today's investment of $1.2 million for Building Bridges workshops will further enhance our
00:02:52.400 Team Canada approach to combating hate.
00:02:55.680 By supporting victims and communities by making it easier to report hate crimes.
00:03:00.420 To provide resources and tools for community organizations to support victims of hate.
00:03:06.880 Addressing the significant knowledge gap that exists in the Canadian hate crimes landscape,
00:03:12.680 including information on the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Charter.
00:03:17.880 Teaching investigation techniques on how to recognize hate crimes.
00:03:22.960 Developing strategies for outreaching and engagement with communities who experience hate.
00:03:28.120 And by providing fundamental knowledge to better equip police so that they can understand,
00:03:35.060 so that they can investigate, and support prosecutions related to hate crime.
00:03:40.740 These workshops are providing communities across the country with the tools and resources
00:03:45.780 they need to truly meet the moment and fight back against the alarming rise in hate that we're witnessing.
00:03:53.040 You know, we're at a pivotal moment when it comes to addressing hate in our country.
00:03:56.740 And the work is urgently needed now, more than ever.
00:04:02.460 And while some so-called leaders are openly and recklessly inciting hate
00:04:07.260 by embracing white nationalist and far-right extremist ideologies,
00:04:11.760 we are doubling down on our commitment to protect Canadians from this intolerance and hate.
00:04:18.380 Because we know at the end of the day,
00:04:20.980 hatred is an extremely serious problem facing Canadians,
00:04:24.760 and it is incumbent upon us as responsible leaders to deliver and invest in a serious response for Canadians.
00:04:33.920 So there are literally right now hate encampments, hate marches at the University of Toronto,
00:04:42.280 at McGill, at University of British Columbia,
00:04:45.280 at universities across Canada, across America, and in some parts overseas as well.
00:04:50.580 You don't need to spend hundreds of millions of dollars teaching people how to find hate.
00:04:57.580 There's a lot of it out there.
00:04:58.580 But did you catch that phrase she used?
00:05:00.900 That she's going after the far right.
00:05:05.300 Is it the far right that's having hate marches?
00:05:08.720 It is not.
00:05:09.240 It's the woke left in coalition with Islamist extremists,
00:05:13.740 extremists, which is surely not what she meant.
00:05:16.820 So what the liberals are doing is they're taking advantage of people being afraid of hate,
00:05:22.140 hate from Hamas, hate that turns into violence,
00:05:25.440 and saying, yes, yes, let's pass an anti-hate speech law.
00:05:29.360 But they're giving it away.
00:05:30.540 But we're going to go after the right wing, the far right.
00:05:33.520 Of course, they call anyone they don't like far right.
00:05:35.840 They call the truckers the far right.
00:05:37.600 We don't actually need hate speech laws to deal with Hamas riots.
00:05:44.340 We have all the laws we need already for what the real problem is.
00:05:49.100 The real problem, for example, is trespass.
00:05:52.300 People on property, they don't have the right to be.
00:05:55.800 People setting up encampments, shanty towns, tents.
00:05:59.480 There are rules against that already.
00:06:01.920 People are assaulting each other, sometimes with sticks or worse.
00:06:05.240 That's in the criminal code as assault, mischief.
00:06:10.080 There may even be some anti-terrorism laws that come into effect.
00:06:13.840 Of course, as you know, in Canada, it's against a law to facilitate or harbor or instruct or to finance terrorism.
00:06:20.560 You want to make sure that you don't make that charge willy-nilly, but it's on the books.
00:06:25.240 You also have the right to deport foreign provocateurs.
00:06:28.660 What I mean by that is people who are here on temporary work permits or temporary student visas
00:06:33.520 who, instead of working or studenting, decide to go in the middle of the city and shout epithets of Jews.
00:06:41.660 They have no right to be here for any reason other than to work or to study.
00:06:44.640 We can deport them.
00:06:46.320 And, of course, universities themselves have their own policies that go far beyond what the criminal code does.
00:06:51.900 You are not allowed to intimidate people.
00:06:55.220 You're not allowed to cause hurt feelings.
00:06:57.360 I mean, universities have these hair-trigger microaggressions, if they actually meant any of it.
00:07:02.800 My point is, I'm not for, you know, microaggressions and all that, but my point is we don't need more laws
00:07:08.480 because the laws we have right now are enough.
00:07:10.920 There's no need for new laws.
00:07:12.060 Just enforce the existing ones.
00:07:15.800 Why would anyone think that police would enforce hate speech laws,
00:07:20.440 which are, by definition, subjective and political,
00:07:24.020 when they won't enforce objective criminal laws,
00:07:27.020 like no camping on the lawn at University of Toronto,
00:07:30.920 no taking over a public space at the University of British Columbia?
00:07:35.100 And why do Jews or conservatives or anyone else think that hate speech laws
00:07:41.720 would be used against their opponents as opposed to against themselves?
00:07:46.560 Why would any Jew think that hate speech laws would be used against Palestinians or Hamas people
00:07:52.660 when you hear the demonization of Jews and Israel by the left?
00:07:58.620 Obviously, it will be Israel and Zionists who are going to be prosecuted.
00:08:03.440 There's an enormous campaign right now to equate Zionism with racism,
00:08:08.200 Zionism with some abominable belief system.
00:08:11.400 Zionism is just the belief that the Jewish people have a Jewish homeland and the Jewish holy land.
00:08:15.880 as they did for thousands of years, as the Jewish temples in the Bible attest.
00:08:22.040 To deny Zionism is to deny the central characteristic of Judaism.
00:08:29.380 That is being demonized so harshly in Canada that in no time at all,
00:08:35.780 there will be some human rights judge or real judge who says,
00:08:39.260 yes, we must get rid of Zionist hate.
00:08:43.760 You know it's coming.
00:08:45.880 We know that police can dismantle these illegal encampments.
00:08:50.600 In Toronto, for example, a few years ago, police deployed 100 officers,
00:08:56.780 50 police cars and even riot horses to shut down.
00:09:00.340 Remember that one restaurant, Adam Skelly's Barbecue?
00:09:04.040 Adamson Barbecue?
00:09:04.900 He refused to close his barbecue restaurant during the pandemic lockdowns.
00:09:10.180 And a hundred police came storming in to shut him down.
00:09:15.200 It's a political choice that Canadian politicians and police are making to abide Hamas.
00:09:21.780 It's not a lack of laws.
00:09:23.640 I think there's a correlation between politicians refusing to enforce current criminal laws and those who want new hate speech laws.
00:09:33.940 I don't think it's a coincidence, at least in Canada.
00:09:37.500 It's a misdirection.
00:09:38.700 It's a placebo to pretend that they're doing something about the real problem while they're actually Trojan horsing in censorship plans for other purposes.
00:09:48.040 The liberal government doesn't have to invest $237 million to find hate in Canada.
00:09:52.280 They can just go to universities.
00:09:54.680 They can go to the streets of any major city and find it.
00:09:58.860 They're stealing away their stowaways, trying to hitch their plans to the facts the conservatives and Jews care about.
00:10:06.800 But they're bringing in censorship for their own reasons.
00:10:08.980 Well, I'm off to Ireland.
00:10:24.400 I'm leaving Sunday night, a land Monday morning.
00:10:28.240 Ireland, I think, is five time zones to the east of Toronto.
00:10:31.640 Now, early in the afternoon, there's what's supposed to be a massive march against mass immigration to Ireland,
00:10:40.200 which has really had the shock treatment against it by its last prime minister, who basically opened the floodgates.
00:10:47.860 And the Irish people are clapping back.
00:10:50.700 Of course, they're called far-right haters as well.
00:10:53.320 It'll be interesting to see what happens.
00:10:55.060 I'll be out there for about 24 hours.
00:10:56.980 So hopefully we'll be able to get this show done in time.
00:11:00.160 The time zones will work to our advantage.
00:11:03.040 Hopefully we'll get that on TV on Monday night.
00:11:05.580 If not, we'll have it on Tuesday for sure.
00:11:08.020 And we'll probably put it up on our website, migrantreports.com.
00:11:12.380 That's where we put all our investigations into this subject matter.
00:11:17.900 So I'm going to say goodbye to you now.
00:11:19.840 And I will leave you with videos that my colleagues have made for today.
00:11:24.180 But on Monday, I hope to be back from Ireland.
00:11:28.560 Here, as we head into the weekend, take a look at this coverage that you'll find only on Rebel News.
00:11:36.440 Alex Alavoie reporting for Rebel News here on the ground at McGill University,
00:11:42.820 where entire Israel protesters have occupied the campus with their encampment for six days.
00:11:50.580 Tensions have escalated with reports of intimidation and anti-Semitic chants on campus.
00:11:57.580 Since the Hamas terrorist attacks on October 7, we have seen anti-Israel supporters marching and chanting anti-Semitic slogans through the streets all across Canada.
00:12:21.540 We have also seen Israeli businesses and establishments targeted by these Hamas supporters.
00:12:31.240 Israeli supporters have gathered in front of McGill to demand an end to the situation.
00:12:40.060 It has been reported that the Premier of Quebec has requested police to dismantle the encampment.
00:12:47.540 McGill is clear that they don't want these encampments.
00:12:53.740 And I think that I rely on the officers to make sure to stop that.
00:12:59.800 Police officers?
00:13:00.720 Police officers.
00:13:01.660 What are you asking police to do?
00:13:03.580 To dismantle encampments.
00:13:06.840 Right now?
00:13:08.220 At the time that they will judge that we'll be the right one.
00:13:11.740 Police have separated the two groups by closing off some of the access to the property where the encampment is located.
00:13:22.660 Now, let's speak with people on the ground and let's see what they have to say to me today.
00:13:29.060 This isn't daycare.
00:13:40.880 This is higher education.
00:13:42.660 McGill is a university.
00:13:44.040 You want to talk.
00:13:45.200 You want to have dialogue.
00:13:46.220 You want to have discussion.
00:13:47.540 There's no pushing.
00:13:48.680 There's no shoving.
00:13:49.800 There's no name-calling.
00:13:51.040 There's no throwing.
00:13:52.180 That's what the university is about.
00:13:54.060 Get back to class.
00:13:55.120 This isn't daycare.
00:13:56.040 The people on the other side of the fence, inside McGill, have been taken advantage of.
00:14:00.800 And some of them are very cynically trying to advocate for the genocide of the Israeli and Jewish people.
00:14:08.400 Professional agitators have taken over my alma mater.
00:14:13.180 I went to McGill and to see it taken over by professional agitators and who are now monopolizing our entire discourse of our province.
00:14:22.640 All of a sudden taken over, hijacked by people who don't know the difference between Hamas and hummus.
00:14:29.300 As a student who is soon entering the university system, I don't know what to expect.
00:14:34.580 But we are here today to show that we are proud.
00:14:36.860 We will not stand down.
00:14:37.860 We have a country.
00:14:38.780 This is not 1939 anymore.
00:14:40.700 These people in the encampment, they're doing illegal things.
00:14:43.860 They don't have the right to set camp on McGill campus.
00:14:47.680 They're standing for something wrong.
00:14:50.060 They're clearly anti-Semitic.
00:14:51.240 I think it's a really important thing to stand up for who we are.
00:14:55.180 We have thousands of years of history.
00:14:58.420 We're peaceful, loving people who only want good for others.
00:15:02.660 We have been persecuted for centuries for absolutely no reason but being Jewish.
00:15:07.060 I feel it's important that the leaders of any municipality such as mine who are of the Jewish faith and even of any other faith should be here to show that we support Israel, we support the Jewish people.
00:15:21.300 And it's literally a shame that Jewish people have to hear death to the Jews, gas the Jews.
00:15:29.680 It's disgusting.
00:15:30.620 I think it's too long for them to occupy the campus.
00:15:35.200 We're proud Jews and we have to stand out for our people.
00:15:38.760 And, you know, the fact that wealthy, educated people who go to a beautiful institution or a once beautiful institution called McGill are protesting on behalf of Hamas, a terrorist organization.
00:15:48.620 And these people pretend to be preoccupied with women's rights, gay rights, LGBTQ rights, and then stand for Hamas after the atrocities they committed on October 7th.
00:15:56.440 It's a testament to how morally decadent our society has become.
00:15:59.380 Why are you on this side trying to kind of agitate people?
00:16:05.000 This is freedom of political beliefs.
00:16:07.380 Canadian Charter, right?
00:16:08.900 Is that what it says?
00:16:11.460 What is your goal?
00:16:12.580 What does the Quebec Charter say?
00:16:14.980 People have the right to information as long as it's legal, right?
00:16:18.820 What is your goal to be on this side?
00:16:20.820 I'm exercising my Quebec Constitutional Charter.
00:16:23.580 I'm exercising my rights.
00:16:24.700 The Quebec Charter says everyone has a right to information as long as it's not illegal.
00:16:30.200 This is not illegal.
00:16:31.620 That's it.
00:16:32.380 But you know that you are provoking.
00:16:34.600 That's your opinion.
00:16:36.580 No, that's not my opinion.
00:16:37.680 That's my Charter rights.
00:16:39.320 I'm exercising my Charter rights.
00:16:41.060 Anybody attacks me, I've got someone in the crowd filming.
00:16:43.900 Anybody attacks me, nice lawsuit.
00:16:46.020 That's it.
00:16:46.520 There is no stoppage on the Jewish students going on the courses.
00:16:49.220 What are you talking about?
00:16:50.460 The camp event is here.
00:16:52.200 It's not blocking anybody's way.
00:16:54.920 All the students, they are free to go wherever they want.
00:16:58.500 And they are going.
00:16:59.000 Actually, it's not at the end of the term, okay?
00:17:01.740 So the second thing, even if it were at the middle of the term, the second semester,
00:17:07.520 I'm sure the people who are camping here, they are not making any blockages against anybody
00:17:13.260 attending any courses.
00:17:14.480 We're in Palestine alone, and go back to Europe.
00:17:21.420 But my family is from Iraq.
00:17:23.840 Go back to Iraq.
00:17:25.260 Go back to Iraq.
00:17:25.840 Go back to Iraq.
00:17:26.420 Go back to Iraq.
00:17:40.280 I came together with two of my Jewish friends to McGill to see what's going on.
00:17:46.180 We stood far away from them, we didn't interrupt them, we didn't do anything, we didn't say anything.
00:17:51.360 We actually had a conversation, a nice conversation with someone from there.
00:17:56.400 Once they recognized us, the entire crowd, they just came to us.
00:18:00.300 About 20 jihadists, 25 jihadists came to us, surrounded us, surrounded me specifically,
00:18:07.500 and started to scream, go back to Europe, all the Zionists are racist.
00:18:11.980 And they were screaming, go back to Europe for about five minutes.
00:18:17.980 And I told them, guys, my family is from Iraq, I'm not even from Europe.
00:18:22.080 So they said, go back to Iraq.
00:18:24.060 The problem is that Jews cannot go to Iraq.
00:18:26.740 Jews cannot be in Iraq anymore.
00:18:35.060 How do you feel to see people actually walking and trampling the Israeli flag?
00:18:41.180 I am not intimidated.
00:18:43.780 They can do what they have to do, but we're not going to stoop to their level.
00:18:47.720 And let's just get them out of here.
00:18:50.300 Eventually, Montreal Enforcement are going to come once the McGillen Junction is going to kick in.
00:18:55.400 And this whole encampment is going to be done, but yes, no, I'm not intimidated.
00:18:59.680 Yeah.
00:19:00.140 Yeah.
00:19:00.580 Oh, yeah.
00:19:02.360 Oh, yeah.
00:19:04.380 Yeah.
00:19:12.860 Oh, yeah.
00:19:15.680 Yeah.
00:19:15.920 God.
00:19:16.280 Oh, yeah.
00:19:16.500 Oh, yeah.
00:19:16.880 This guy's got some real bad signs. It's going to turn into a big blow up if you let this guy in there.
00:19:36.880 What's wrong with the sign? No blow up. I saw your October 7th sign.
00:19:39.880 Mendy, can you record?
00:19:41.880 That doesn't matter man, you're going to cause a conflict. This is good so far.
00:19:45.880 What do you think of the sign? It doesn't matter.
00:19:47.880 What do you think of the sign? That sign's okay.
00:19:49.880 He's looking for trouble. He's got a real commentary sign.
00:20:00.880 Terrorists go home! Terrorists go home! Terrorists go home! Terrorists go home!
00:20:06.880 We're more than happy to show our face. We're not hiding behind anything.
00:20:10.880 Whereas if you see the vast majority of the people in the camp that claim to be there for peace,
00:20:16.880 they're hiding behind a Khagul in French or like a mask to hide their true identity.
00:20:23.880 What do you think Miguel should do?
00:20:25.880 I have no idea. They should decide for themselves what to do.
00:20:30.880 But I think the campus should be open to everybody.
00:20:33.880 What we need is to see that there's a partner for peace.
00:20:37.880 And what they're doing over there is showing us the opposite.
00:20:40.880 Because they're saying from the river to the sea, they mean that they don't want Israel.
00:20:44.880 They don't want Jewish people.
00:20:46.880 From the river to the sea!
00:20:48.880 We have peace!
00:20:50.880 School is for learning. Leave us alone. Let us go to class. That's why you're here.
00:20:55.880 You chose to go to this university. You chose to be a student here.
00:20:59.880 So if you're a student at this university, go to class.
00:21:02.880 I'm hoping that McGill would actually protect all its student body and allow all students to freely go on their campus.
00:21:10.880 Evict these agitators.
00:21:12.880 Les étudiants doivent au moins assister à leurs cours et puis c'est pas un terrain de camping.
00:21:17.880 Even though I'm graduated right now, I'm still ashamed to have gone to McGill.
00:21:21.880 I mean, the lack of representation that we see, the lack of discipline that we see from the administration to get these people out.
00:21:27.880 We love life. We even love Palestinians. We take care of them in Israel. We love everybody around us. That's why we're here.
00:21:33.880 How could they be peacefully protesting when they approve what was done on October 7th?
00:21:40.880 The moment you say that you approve what was done on October 7th, you're no better than those who did the killings and the rapings.
00:21:48.880 They give you the right to express your opinion, but not give you the right to treat other people.
00:21:53.880 I know plenty of students who have been told from the river to the sea these are genocidal slogans.
00:21:58.880 They've been told things like go back home. These are not peaceful protests.
00:22:03.880 These protests are riddled with anti-Semitism and they are not by any means benign.
00:22:08.880 Intifada Sha'biya means popular revolution. Intifada Sha'biya, popular revolution.
00:22:16.880 So when they yell for intifada, they are calling for the elimination of the Jewish people.
00:22:20.880 So yes, that is threatening and we do take it seriously.
00:22:23.880 I think we can all see that the police want to do something.
00:22:26.880 We saw it today. The police were amazing. I think that they want to do something, but they're waiting for McGill to give them the green light.
00:22:33.880 And I think McGill should do it as soon as possible.
00:22:35.880 Even if you see a lot of the people that are, you know, you can see clearly they're not like students.
00:22:41.880 So it's supposed to be only for students. It's one thing if you want to protest, but you can tell many people aren't, you know, of age to even be students.
00:22:49.880 So they're technically shouldn't even be on the property.
00:22:52.880 McGill has been taken hostage by Muslim Arab extremists who are taking advantage of naive progressive Canadians.
00:23:02.880 They want to perpetuate a war against Israel. This is about, these are war promoters.
00:23:07.880 They do not want Hamas to end their rule over Gaza and a base from which they can promote war.
00:23:16.880 They can say they're peaceful all they want. They're not peaceful.
00:23:19.880 Everybody is nervous. Nobody can walk down the street and we just want peace no matter where we go.
00:23:24.880 They should be removed. But the problem is that too many leaders of these universities are feeble and weak and don't stand up for what's right and what's wrong.
00:23:33.880 The truth is what matters. Israel is not an apartheid state.
00:23:36.880 There are two million Arab Israelis living with equal citizenship, fighting in the army, serving in the government.
00:23:41.880 So that claim is utterly false.
00:23:44.880 I expect Trudeau to stand up and to say publicly that he condemns anti-Semitism without saying Islamophobia in the same sentence.
00:23:54.880 What's happening here is not a demonstration. What's happening here is aggressive, coercive opinion of a minority.
00:24:03.880 And that's taking over everybody because nobody wants to be politically incorrect.
00:24:08.880 Free! Free Palestine! Free! Free Palestine! Free! Free Palestine! Free! Free! Free!
00:24:17.880 The University of Ottawa has a group of students that is joining a broader trend that's growing across universities in the English speaking world.
00:24:24.880 We've seen similar protests at New York University, at Columbia University, also here in Canada we've seen it at McGill University.
00:24:31.880 Where demonstrators who we can broadly say let's say are pro-Palestine or anti-Israel are aggregating and agitating against what they call war crimes or genocide being perpetrated by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza and in the West Bank.
00:24:46.880 The protesters are demanding that university administrators disclose and divest from any sort of financial overlap or tie to interests or persons related to Israel.
00:25:00.880 The protesters have a sort of BDS style series of demands.
00:25:04.880 BDS being the acronym for boycott, divestment and sanction against Israel.
00:25:10.880 So the demand is to disclose and divest.
00:25:13.880 The protesters want the university administration to disclose all of its investments and any of them that may relate to Israel should be terminated.
00:25:22.880 Not long after I attended this demonstration, a minder for this protest began to advise all the demonstrators that I was a right-wing chud and I was an agitator.
00:25:34.880 Essentially everyone there obeyed their master's orders and refused to talk to me at all despite my good faith sincere invitation for these people to share their remarks as to why they're there, what they sought to achieve, what their goals are, what their perception is of the ongoing conflict in and around Israel.
00:25:52.880 There was one exception, one older Arabic man who shared some remarks with me, but other than that, once this minder, middle-aged white man got his message out as to who I am according to him, he had quick obedience from essentially everyone in the protest.
00:26:10.880 Would you want to do an interview with me on camera, tell us why you're here and what the purpose of the demonstration is about?
00:26:19.880 Maybe you want to share your name or your rationale for being here?
00:26:22.880 Alright, how about you?
00:26:24.880 Would you want to talk to me for a few moments?
00:26:26.880 Tell our audience why you're here and what the motivation for the demonstration is?
00:26:30.880 My name is Robert Krejcik, I'm with Rebel News.
00:26:33.880 I'm with Rebel News.
00:26:35.880 They're far right-wing people.
00:26:37.880 Well, I mean, I can speak for myself, but...
00:26:40.880 They're the people who are involved with the convoy.
00:26:43.880 Are you saying sorry to me or saying sorry to him?
00:26:45.880 No, actually, I listen to him because I'm with them.
00:26:48.880 And here just because I want to stop the genocide from Israel's side, okay?
00:26:54.880 Okay.
00:26:55.880 Yeah.
00:26:56.880 Anything else you want to say about that?
00:26:57.880 Like, what's the purpose of the demonstration?
00:26:59.880 How does this demonstration seek to end what you describe as a genocide?
00:27:02.880 Okay.
00:27:03.880 Because the Israel government, they pay for every media, okay?
00:27:08.880 Like your media or whatever, if they pay you or not, but I'm sure they pay...
00:27:13.880 We're not being paid by Israel.
00:27:15.880 Who's?
00:27:16.880 Wait, for whom?
00:27:17.880 AIPAC?
00:27:18.880 We're not paid by AIPAC or Israel.
00:27:20.880 No?
00:27:21.880 No.
00:27:22.880 Why they refuse to talk to you?
00:27:25.880 I can't explain why this guy will do what he's doing.
00:27:28.880 I can just answer your own questions on my own behalf.
00:27:30.880 Anyway, we are here to stop genocide in Gaza.
00:27:34.880 We are here to ask for freedom for Palestinian people.
00:27:39.880 We are here for peace, okay?
00:27:41.880 So the demonstration itself, this encampment, how does it seek to achieve that if it's seemingly,
00:27:46.880 if I misunderstand or understand correctly, sort of put pressure on the administration
00:27:51.880 of the university itself?
00:27:52.880 To stop, to stop, deal with the Israel army or the Israel economy.
00:27:58.880 That's, that's the reason here.
00:28:00.880 We stop here.
00:28:01.880 And if the police is moved from here, we'll go to another place, maybe an airport or to
00:28:07.880 stop genocide.
00:28:08.880 We have to listen.
00:28:10.880 Everybody have to listen for the message.
00:28:12.880 People, they killed over there.
00:28:14.880 Okay.
00:28:15.880 At one point, one of the protesters had this megaphone basically blasting in my face with
00:28:21.880 this message, free Palestine.
00:28:23.880 I was not going to tolerate that and I sort of smacked it away from myself.
00:28:27.880 At this point, things got a bit more animated from these people and it began to demand that
00:28:31.880 I leave.
00:28:32.880 Of course, I would not because I have a right to be there like anyone else.
00:28:35.880 And there was at this point clear, no possibility of any more interviews or any sort of meaningful
00:28:41.880 exchange with anyone there as people began to sort of aggregate and put these umbrellas
00:28:46.880 around me and blasting megaphones around me in other directions.
00:28:49.880 So that was basically the end of this attempt to get interviews from demonstrators and have
00:28:54.880 their words relate to you in our dear Rebel News audience.
00:28:57.880 Hey, do you folks want to share some remarks with us while you're here?
00:29:00.880 It looks like we're not going to get any sort of feedback here from anyone, but we're going
00:29:04.880 to keep trying.
00:29:11.880 As you can see, this demonstration has a minder, at least one, who is advising other demonstrators
00:29:17.880 who they can and can't speak to.
00:29:19.880 At one point, I had one guy sort of playing a, let's say, megaphone bullhorn up in my face,
00:29:25.880 which I wasn't willing to tolerate, so I put that away.
00:29:28.880 And now we've got a sort of congregation of demonstrators collecting around us chanting,
00:29:32.880 free, free Palestine, and again, still advising everyone else, all demonstrators, not to speak
00:29:35.880 with me.
00:29:36.880 This is a typical strategy that you'll see at left-wing protests, if I can use that term,
00:29:40.880 in which minders sort of advise or police other demonstrators who they can and cannot
00:29:44.880 talk to and what they can and cannot see.
00:29:47.880 It's very, very scripted.
00:29:49.880 It's not really organic.
00:29:50.880 It's not really freestyle.
00:29:51.880 And that's that.
00:29:52.880 We will not stop.
00:29:53.880 We will not rest.
00:29:54.880 Let's go.
00:29:55.880 Let's walk over here.
00:29:56.880 We will not stop.
00:29:57.880 We will not rest.
00:29:58.880 We will not rest.
00:29:59.880 We will not rest.
00:30:00.880 We will not rest.
00:30:01.880 We will not rest.
00:30:03.880 We will not rest.
00:30:17.880 We will not rest.
00:30:18.880 We will not rest.
00:30:19.880 Let's go.
00:30:20.880 We will not rest.
00:30:22.880 Let's go.
00:30:24.880 We will not rest.
00:30:25.880 Let's go.
