Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen, and the rest of you,
00:01:37.860
in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels.
00:01:45.120
Remember Walter Matheson, the New Brunswick senior, who was ticketed several months ago
00:01:51.460
simply for sitting alone in his car in a Tim Hortons parking lot, enjoying his muffin and coffee?
00:02:02.920
Could it be the arresting officer endured a heaping helping of humiliation in the court of public opinion?
00:02:14.400
Well, those freedom rallies against governments that would take away our rights in the name of flattening the Wuhan virus,
00:02:22.940
Drea Humphrey covered one such protest in Vancouver,
00:02:26.160
and she'll weigh in with her take as to why a growing number of Canadians are increasingly concerned
00:02:32.200
that we are going the way of Melbourne, Australia.
00:02:36.280
And finally, letters, we get your letters, we get your letters every minute of every day,
00:02:41.800
and I'll share some of your responses regarding my visit to Trinity Bellwoods Park in Toronto,
00:02:46.980
the home of a filthy tent city that houses violent people and vicious animals,
00:02:57.060
Those are your Rebels, now let's round them up.
00:03:07.980
The prosecutor in Hampton has thrown out Walter's ticket.
00:03:12.340
They say on a technicality, even though that technicality is something that could have easily been amended.
00:03:19.620
I say they turf the ticket because they all know that cop made a huge mistake
00:03:24.640
and embarrassed himself and everyone else now forced to deal with the ticket after the fact.
00:03:29.800
They're dropping that ticket because Walter fought back
00:03:32.720
and because we told the world about what happened to Walter.
00:03:37.860
Now, I caught up with Walter earlier this week to talk about the good news.
00:03:43.920
Well, I went to the court and I waited outside because there was 30 people ahead of me
00:03:52.680
and they were only allowing a few people in at a time, a couple, I think.
00:03:56.620
Anyway, I finally got in after the 30 people were done.
00:04:01.260
And I went in and sat on the bench and waited until they were waiting for them to call me up.
00:04:07.200
So, when the last person up speaking to the judge finished, it was a woman, and she left.
00:04:17.220
And as she left, the judge got up and walked out the door.
00:04:24.520
And the sheriff there was standing next to me and he says, I don't know.
00:04:28.540
Anyway, this lady comes over to me and she says, Walter?
00:04:33.120
She said, I found your ticket this morning and it wasn't made out properly, so we tore it up.
00:04:39.840
Well, I don't know whether I believe that or not, but I kind of wonder why they didn't let me know
00:04:45.820
when I was there and not three hours before that.
00:04:56.820
Because I think that they tossed your ticket because they didn't think that you were going to fight back.
00:05:03.080
I think they thought you were going to roll over.
00:05:07.060
They didn't think that you would ultimately end up embarrassing the police force with your very public story.
00:05:13.000
They didn't think you would end up with a lawyer.
00:05:15.700
And they didn't think you would show up in court to contest the ticket.
00:05:18.520
So, I think that they just didn't want to deal with Walter Matheson anymore.
00:05:24.340
Now, Walter, I'm very happy to hear that your ticket has been dropped.
00:05:29.140
I know a lot of people were cheering for you and supportive of you fighting back.
00:05:35.140
And I know a lot of people donated to help cover the cost of your lawyer, Sam Goldstein.
00:05:43.940
I'd like to thank everybody that stood behind me for this, especially Rebel News, of course.
00:05:55.880
There was a lot of people that commented on it, and I read most of them.
00:06:02.760
Yes, I'd like to thank you all that supported me.
00:06:07.280
And hopefully, I think this ever happens again.
00:06:11.940
As you know, folks, Rebel News launched our Fight the Fines campaign way back in May, I believe,
00:06:17.440
because, heck, nobody else was stepping up to the plate, including the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
00:06:23.400
We wanted to stand up for Canadians who were being brutalized by by-law and even law enforcement
00:06:29.560
for the silliest things like sitting alone on a park bench or, such as the case with Walter Matheson
00:06:37.020
simply enjoying a coffee and muffin by himself in a car in a parking lot with the windows rolled up.
00:06:46.160
But fast forward to the present, and the Matheson case has been dropped.
00:06:54.380
Joining me now with more on this crazy story with a super happy ending is Sheila Gunn-Reed.
00:07:09.780
I'm thinking that behind the scenes, that RCMP officer was just begging to have this case dropped.
00:07:22.660
But in the court of public opinion, wow, this guy was humiliated.
00:07:32.840
I mean, as far as fight the fines cases go, some are really atrocious, egregious.
00:07:40.400
For example, Tamara being cuffed for walking along the beach.
00:07:46.800
The young mom who was searched under her clothes and stuffed in a cop car because she took her daughter to an abandoned park during the time of the Wu flu.
00:07:59.080
Walter's was probably the most ridiculous, and it had a lot of public interest in it because I think a lot of people saw that it could happen to them, too, because Walter was just doing a normal thing as safely as possible.
00:08:13.120
He was eating his muffin and finishing his coffee in a Tim Hortons parking lot with the windows rolled up alone, and a cop comes over to him and says,
00:08:23.700
you've got to move along, you're going to attract teenagers to this parking lot.
00:08:29.520
I mean, it's hard to even say it out loud because it's so ridiculous.
00:08:33.820
You know, like, the teenagers are like, ooh, let's go down to the Tim Hortons to see if there's any old guys eating a muffin down there, and we'll just mill about because they're there.
00:08:45.100
The cop asked Walter to leave, and Walter said, what am I doing wrong?
00:08:52.360
And then Walter said, it's still a free country, and then tried to comply with the officer anyway and leave.
00:08:58.440
The cop stops Walter and then gives him a ticket for failing to comply.
00:09:02.000
And the cop gets really vulgar and abusive with Walter, but Walter, citizen journalist that he is and muffin aficionado, he recorded the phone or the conversation with the cop, and that's really what spurred everything.
00:09:18.900
And from there, it got even worse because the cop tried to pull the same bully tactics with me.
00:09:24.320
But I'm happy to say that Walter's case has been dropped.
00:09:29.560
There was an address error or an informational error on his ticket.
00:09:37.360
I spoke to Sam Goldstein, our lawyer who's working the case.
00:09:40.820
He said they could have just easily amended the ticket and proceeded with the ticket.
00:09:45.260
But I think they wanted to get rid of Walter and us and this whole embarrassing problem the best way possible.
00:09:54.580
And at least that way, they didn't have to lose it in court.
00:10:02.160
That police officer, and to me, this is so inexplicable.
00:10:06.000
He approaches Walter very jovial and very friendly and on a dime.
00:10:12.880
He switches from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde in terms of his attitude.
00:10:22.840
He's just asking honest questions in a calm manner.
00:10:26.300
I never quite understood that, you know, why this guy could be so easily triggered.
00:10:32.780
And that's not really who you want in law enforcement.
00:10:36.740
You were bullied along the lines, as was our company.
00:10:41.800
And I imagine, Sheila, you're referring to that ridiculous lawyer's letter.
00:10:46.720
And I say ridiculous because it was full of spelling and grammatical errors.
00:10:51.720
And they were basically intensifying the bullying, weren't they, Sheila?
00:10:56.540
They were saying they wanted us to take the video down.
00:11:00.460
Hello, you're talking to the wrong media company.
00:11:03.620
We don't bend the knee to, you know, malicious legal letters, do we, Sheila?
00:11:09.720
No, I mean, the cop clearly never had, or not that he never had, but he doesn't often have people like Walter push back.
00:11:22.140
He tried to comply, but he just said this is still a free country.
00:11:24.760
And so it made perfect sense after the fact when the cop got what I would suspect is the most inept lawyer in all of Hampton, New Brunswick,
00:11:34.920
to send a legal letter to us telling me to turn over the recording of the interaction that Walter took,
00:11:48.920
We didn't know each other before, so I don't know why I would be sitting in his car halfway across the country.
00:11:55.000
Surreptitiously recording something, I don't know, crouched behind the backseat of Walter's car.
00:11:58.940
I don't know what these two thought that I was doing.
00:12:02.460
And they wanted me to turn that over to the cops.
00:12:05.720
Like, they're demanding that a journalist turn over their materials, their investigative materials, to the RCMP.
00:12:11.680
Who at the RCMP station would ever touch those, by the way?
00:12:14.220
And it was pretty clear that they didn't even read the website copy that accompanied the video that I published
00:12:21.060
or watched the video before they fired off that legal letter because they said that I repeatedly mentioned the cop's name in there.
00:12:31.440
Because at the time, the cop really wasn't the issue for me.
00:12:35.540
It was the stupid rule that enabled this cop to do those things.
00:12:39.500
And that's really what I took issue with until the cop took an issue with me.
00:12:53.300
And it ended up being one of our most popular Fight the Fines videos.
00:12:58.980
It was like an update to a Fight the Fines video.
00:13:01.240
And it got nearly half a million views because it exposed the bullies for who they really are.
00:13:09.240
And it also showed how these COVID regulations are really empowering the bullies who don't normally have a lot of power.
00:13:15.640
Yeah, I think it's called the Barbra Streisand effect, isn't it, Sheila?
00:13:19.320
And also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this dimwit of a lawyer run for the Liberal Party in the election without any success, surprisingly?
00:13:30.040
But, jeez, I guess that's the kind of cloth Liberal candidates are cut from these days, eh, Sheila?
00:13:42.280
She's not good at the job she already has because she can't spell.
00:13:46.820
I mean, she didn't even get the address of the company right when she sent the legal letter.
00:13:55.480
Yeah, she ran for the Liberals in Hampton, New Brunswick, running on her reputation.
00:14:00.780
And she's, from what I understand, a perennial Liberal candidate.
00:14:12.440
What you'd see in Alberta, that's what she got out there.
00:14:19.800
I mean, and she was bragging, I noticed online, about the number of doors she knocked.
00:14:24.920
Like, she said she knocked, like, 10,000 doors or something like that.
00:14:28.860
And she couldn't even, you know, motivate one in ten of those people to show up and vote for her at the ballot box.
00:14:34.200
Geez, maybe she thought that's how an election works.
00:14:36.680
The number of doors you knock on, whoever knocks on the most, you win the election.
00:14:42.320
So, a humiliating defeat at the ballots for the Liberal lawyer.
00:14:47.560
A humiliation for the officer who brought it upon himself by acting so unprofessionally, I would say.
00:14:55.520
A resounding victory for Walter Matheson, no matter how you look at it.
00:15:01.420
And certainly in the court of public opinion, he's a hero.
00:15:05.440
I'm almost disappointed, Sheila, because we were going to cover that trial all hands on deck.
00:15:11.180
But I guess that just shows, for once, that cop made the right decision in waving the white flag of surrender, eh?
00:15:21.020
We had talked about sending the, mostly the entire company out there to cover it as though it were the OJ trial or the Menendez brothers or something like that.
00:15:30.420
I was very excited to be the Nancy Grace of the company every night doing colour commentary.
00:15:37.520
But, yes, as you rightly point out, for once they did the right thing.
00:15:43.960
It's not because they are motivated to do the right thing because they realise they did something wrong.
00:15:49.180
It's that they know that this would never stand up in the court of law and this was just a petty grievance between a cop and a citizen who pushed back just a little bit.
00:16:18.180
And that was Sheila Gunn-Reed somewhere in the hinterland of Northern Alberta.
00:16:23.380
More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.
00:16:39.220
Okay, Michelle, now you obviously are a fan of Canada.
00:16:43.420
What's your opinion on what we're seeing in Canada lately?
00:16:52.320
Our government is trying to lock us down and control us and take away our democracy.
00:17:00.900
I'm just happy to be here to support everyone who knows that this is all a scam with a pandemic.
00:17:07.880
And I'm just worried about all the kids that are going to school and some of them have to wear masks.
00:17:13.160
And just all the rules and regulations and all the people that lost their jobs and all these small companies.
00:17:26.140
Because I've heard of so many people committing suicide over this lie.
00:17:35.480
But now I believe in that it's a communist country.
00:17:41.620
One of you have a big flag that says, don't tread on me.
00:17:45.400
Why is it important for you guys to be at this event today?
00:17:49.120
I think it's important for our democracy and for all Canadians to realize that sometimes you have to band together
00:17:54.580
and say what you're going to stand for and what you won't stand for.
00:17:57.560
And number one, we can all agree that freedom is number one important.
00:18:04.160
So we just want to make sure that the message is clear that all Canadians want freedom.
00:18:12.000
And of course, you can hand out all the flyers and promote all you want.
00:18:14.960
If the people don't come out, you don't got nothing.
00:18:17.280
So I got to thank everybody for coming out and doing their job and supporting this.
00:18:22.320
We saw what was going on in Berlin and Montreal and Dublin and Greece and Poland and Italy.
00:18:28.940
And I felt, you know, Vancouver's got to get put on the map too.
00:18:34.800
You know, BC's slowly going downhill with all these restrictions again.
00:18:40.800
It's time for Vancouver to be put on the map now.
00:18:47.460
We've got lots of little protests here and there, which is great.
00:18:50.480
But we needed a big one to say to our government,
00:18:57.360
I've never really been more proud to be Canadian than literally right now, today.
00:19:04.080
People standing up for their rights, that's what I want more than anything in the world.
00:19:08.260
All right, Dana, you were just saying that you came from a communist country
00:19:12.180
and now you feel like it's happening here in Canada.
00:19:15.600
It's not a feeling, it's what I'm seeing is happening.
00:19:19.740
Lockdowns, when I know in Europe right now, many of the countries have been opening up.
00:19:26.560
What I like to see, where are the doctors from Canada?
00:19:37.960
They're using, basically, my grandparents fought with Nazis.
00:19:49.600
Well, talk about momentum when it comes to citizens fighting back against our rights and freedoms
00:19:55.920
being body-checked in the name of Wuhan virus prevention.
00:20:01.820
Rallies have sprung up in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and now even Canadians in the relatively laid-back left coast
00:20:12.780
And joining me now to discuss the recent Vancouver rally is Drea Humphrey.
00:20:20.080
So, Drea, the clip ended with that Eastern European lady speaking out against government
00:20:29.940
And, you know, I've got to tell you, I've covered many similar rallies here, and I have
00:20:34.220
to say, the most passionate people, when it comes to speaking out, tend to be those from
00:20:40.280
the former Soviet Union or the Eastern Bloc nations.
00:20:43.760
I think it's because they have experienced totalitarianism firsthand, and it is anything
00:20:57.480
You see a lot of people from Poland, even some Iranian people speak out, and I've seen it
00:21:03.980
before as well, so I wasn't surprised by what she's saying.
00:21:07.400
And I think it would be wise to, you know, take it seriously, right, not just brush it
00:21:15.180
She was very passionate about getting that message out, and she definitely wasn't alone.
00:21:21.060
Yeah, and you know, the dichotomy here, Drea, is that on the flip side, I see native-born
00:21:26.880
Canadians who are brought up in the milk and honey of this nation, in wealth, in privilege,
00:21:32.360
and they go to a university campus, and they're wearing a Soviet Union hammer and sickle t-shirt
00:21:43.240
And it's incredible, because it seems that the only people that are super pro-communist
00:21:50.260
and super, you know, pro-having-the-government curtail our rights are people that have never
00:21:58.500
Exactly, they're still living with their parents, you know, it's super strange.
00:22:06.180
At one Black and Indigenous protest that I went, just before a coming, a rebel, there
00:22:12.040
was these young, I guess they were probably in university, maybe, living in their parents'
00:22:17.100
basement, and they were saying, capitalism is dead, and you people are old and out of
00:22:22.380
touch, you don't know what you're talking about.
00:22:28.440
Like, I don't know where they're getting the information from.
00:22:31.300
But you're right, they haven't lived in any of the societies, not the one we have right
00:22:36.820
now, and the one that they're advocating for, so.
00:22:39.860
Yeah, and I think, Drea, too, a lot of people might be saying, well, this is a freedom rally,
00:22:45.040
this is all about the Wuhan virus protocols being put in place.
00:22:49.280
Why are they talking about socialism and communism?
00:22:51.520
This is the thing, Drea, I think, and I get this vibe from so many protesters, it's governments
00:22:57.660
of every political stripe, and every level, municipal, provincial, state, federal.
00:23:04.300
As our boss, Ezra Levent, likes to say, during this pandemic, they got a little taste of totalitarianism,
00:23:12.980
They kind of like that taste, and they're kind of reluctant to stop, you know, dishing into
00:23:21.520
Yeah, I think it's actually frightening what can happen when people are in power.
00:23:25.800
We hear all this talking about police brutality, but what about politicians, you know, that
00:23:33.120
So I definitely see, and it's across the globe in many ways, which is also kind of concerning,
00:23:40.260
and I think a perfect example in Canada of this happening is the closing, how long parliament
00:23:52.720
I mean, when you can go to a movie theater where I live, you can go to the movie theater,
00:23:57.540
you can go walk around the mall, you can do all of these things, but yet, democracy, not
00:24:04.160
And you know, I love the people that come out to these rallies, Dre, and it seemed to me
00:24:12.200
That's what I get when I cover similar rallies here.
00:24:15.060
People were very articulate in expressing what their problems are with these Wuhan virus protocols.
00:24:23.860
And yet, it's so funny, isn't it, my friend, when you contrast it to, well, in your case,
00:24:28.600
I remember you went to some homeless encampment at a park, and you had the stereotypical white
00:24:37.300
liberal dude questioning your racial resume, and whether or not you were indigenous, and
00:24:49.160
Why is it that when it comes to these kind of leftist protests, A, they're rude, and B,
00:24:58.920
I don't think they fully understand why they're so passionate about what they're passionate
00:25:04.940
I don't think they've taken the time to really sit and be like, okay, this is why I am saying
00:25:14.100
I think it's more just, like, follow the leader kind of mentality.
00:25:20.060
And so they get out there, and they get all passionate, rah, rah, rah.
00:25:23.600
And then when they get faced with, you know, a legitimate question, or somebody wants to
00:25:28.640
understand their point of view, they just can't do it.
00:25:30.880
So they result to insults, or loudspeakers, or in your case, umbrellas.
00:25:37.860
I've seen people carrying umbrellas that look kind of antipish, but I haven't seen them really
00:25:47.660
And it's, yeah, it's a sign of how valid their opinion is when it's like that.
00:25:55.380
Yeah, I guess as Lennon called them, useful idiots.
00:26:01.060
We've gone through months of misery, and my personal feeling is that the cure has been
00:26:08.540
When we look at all the other fallouts of what we've had to endure with in terms of the
00:26:13.120
Wuhan virus, depression, spousal abuse, suicides, people dying, literally dying on elective surgery
00:26:21.740
The economy has been pretty much opened up, but there's all kinds of rumors there, especially
00:26:27.780
as there's, you know, whispers of the so-called second wave coming, that around Thanksgiving,
00:26:34.160
we might be going back to stage two, stage one even.
00:26:41.300
And I guess the question is, after we've endured so much and we're just now getting our liberty
00:26:47.000
back, are Canadians going to put up with the regulations being regressed to the way they
00:26:55.040
Well, I've been suspecting that in the fall we were going to see another lockdown for a
00:27:01.300
while now, specifically because of how many times we've been told about the second wave
00:27:10.300
I mean, we have been told that barely before they admitted there was a first wave or whatever.
00:27:15.660
So in my mind, I saw a little conditioning there.
00:27:21.120
It's just I feel like the government is prepared to lock down, regardless of if it's warranted
00:27:28.260
And then as far as people waking up, I think we are going to see more people sort of resisting
00:27:34.380
this, especially if they do some more research.
00:27:37.240
And an example of that is I'm in or I should say I was in a lot of like COVID awareness groups.
00:27:44.140
And I literally got kicked out of those groups, not even for really giving like my opinion,
00:27:49.860
but I kid you not, just for sharing any kind of credible information that didn't align
00:27:59.020
And so if I posted something that I can't think of an example, but just something that said,
00:28:09.620
It doesn't matter if it's doctors or scientists, they would literally tag a min to get me out
00:28:19.400
And so I think there's about two groups that kept me in.
00:28:22.620
And now I noticed when I do it, it's completely different.
00:28:25.440
Like you'll get about 50, 50 of who's able to talk about it.
00:28:30.380
You'll get like, you'll get hurt, you'll get some angry faces.
00:28:32.980
And I thought that's a real sign because this used to be just a group all about the fear
00:28:37.920
and just backtracking with what you said, like in my area, specifically during the lockdown,
00:28:44.340
our domestic violence calls went up to 300% during the lockdown at some calls.
00:28:52.720
And our child abuse calls drastically plummeted.
00:28:57.780
And so what's concerning about that is that kids weren't going to their safe place.
00:29:03.620
In fact, they were probably getting abused more with all the stress and everything like that.
00:29:09.140
But the fact that they're not around their teachers, they're not around Sunday school,
00:29:13.160
they're not around community centers, they're not playing sports, they're not going to the library.
00:29:20.320
So, I mean, and then BC is also having our biggest, ever since we've been having our biggest overdoses,
00:29:29.480
So, yeah, I think the cure has been worse than the virus for sure so far.
00:29:37.820
You know, and that is a staggering anecdote about you going on to these groups,
00:29:41.460
getting kicked out, not for voicing an opinion, not for coming up with a conspiracy theory,
00:29:45.780
but for quoting medical and scientific statistics and data.
00:29:56.120
Well, listen, thank you so much for joining me here on Rebel Roundup.
00:30:00.480
And I guess time will tell in the weeks ahead how far we're going to regress,
00:30:18.100
So it was that my cameraman, Lincoln, and I ventured out to Trinity Bellwoods Park the other day
00:30:28.740
to document the growing illegal eyesore that is the tent city encampment,
00:30:35.240
as well as the playground that is apparently being overrun by drug users.
00:30:40.200
We wanted to contrast this scenario with all those goofy social distancing circles
00:30:46.860
that law-abiding citizens dare not disrespect under penalty of heavy fine.
00:31:02.820
It is me standing in front of a particularly gruesome-looking tent at Trinity Bellwoods.
00:31:09.520
I was merely filming the stand-up to my report.
00:31:13.140
Keep in mind, it was never my intention to engage with anyone at the encampment.
00:31:19.100
But an illegal squatter inexplicably took umbrage to my very presence in this public park.
00:31:29.820
There are people here breaking the trespass act.
00:31:38.000
Do you know I have the right to actually smash that camera?
00:31:45.760
Do you have the right to smash that camera by law?
00:31:47.800
Yeah, yeah, by law, you know I actually smash that camera.
00:32:15.920
My beloved hometown is a pretty sad sight these days, wouldn't you say?
00:32:19.900
Parkland has been surrendered to people who are clearly unhinged, some of whom are violent,
00:32:29.180
And while Mayor John Tory says this is unacceptable, well, Mayor, I have to say actions speak louder
00:32:38.200
In other words, how about doing something about this odious situation rather than just fretting
00:32:50.800
Hey Now writes, I live in the Bay Area, California.
00:32:56.100
Tents and parks and sidewalks and under overpasses.
00:32:59.780
And the law is that they can't get arrested for peeing or pooing in the streets.
00:33:05.360
There are places where they're allowing them to use heroin and give them new needles, and
00:33:11.400
there are nurses there to help them, all taxpayer-funded.
00:33:15.840
Well, you know, hey Now, it's tragic what has happened to the once beautiful city of San
00:33:21.560
I first visited this city in 1986, and I've got to tell you, back then there was just a
00:33:28.760
Now there are entire homeless communities, much like we see in other Democrat-controlled
00:33:35.840
How soon will it be before Hogtown resembles the city by the bay, thanks to a lack of political
00:33:49.980
I loved going to Trinity Bellwoods and shopping on Queen Street West.
00:33:53.600
I find it absolutely disgusting that residents and journalists are being intimidated by people
00:34:03.500
It's also sad that the mayor doesn't give a single F about what's going on.
00:34:13.240
The situation in Trinity Bellwoods is the end result when governments refuse to govern and
00:34:22.240
And the end result is that law-abiding citizens must now endure the law of the jungle.
00:34:30.640
Yes, Barry, charges were indeed levied against the dog owner and his buddy.
00:34:43.400
He's the guy who later swatted my cell phone out of my hands.
00:34:46.820
For the record, Dean Edsey, 40, is charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily
00:34:54.020
Mark, a.k.a. Andre Durant, 61, is charged with assault.
00:35:04.020
And get this, the female Mastiff is walking around the park unleashed and unmuzzled.
00:35:10.240
So welcome to the Toronto version of Whack-A-Mole.
00:35:19.400
Since you are so worried about the law, by law, you don't have the right to be living
00:35:23.300
in a public park in a tent or have unrestrained, vicious dogs attacking taxpayers in a public
00:35:29.860
Well, you know, you are correct, Lake Nipissing.
00:35:32.220
So the question arises, why is the law not being upheld?
00:35:38.400
If the late, great Rob Ford were still mayor, this violent nonsense would never be tolerated.
00:35:45.020
Sad to see how much things have changed in Toronto in just six years.
00:35:52.600
Alas, not everyone was supportive or sympathetic, however, folks.
00:36:08.760
Not that he is entitled to any, as he is a squatter, had he simply ignored us.
00:36:22.100
The dog thought you were attacking him and they were protecting him as they see him as
00:36:30.220
First, there's some footage of the assailant, Dean Edsey, actually calling his dogs out of
00:36:39.200
Third, the large dog that did most of the damage, Grizzly, was already on, if you can
00:36:49.200
Part of the requirements in owning a dangerous dog is that it must be leashed and muzzled at
00:36:55.560
This degenerate knew exactly what he was doing, which was to weaponize his dogs against me.
00:37:05.260
In any event, folks, if you feel as angry as I do about the lawlessness in Toronto's parks,
00:37:11.780
please visit our petition, TakeTorontoBack.com, and I shall personally deliver this to the
00:37:20.980
Also, a huge shout-out to all of you who sent your get-well-soon sentiments to me.
00:37:26.840
Your kindness and compassion is greatly appreciated.
00:37:31.440
Well, that wraps up another edition of Rebel Roundup.
00:37:36.380
And hey, folks, never forget, without risk, there can be no glory.
