00:00:00.500 You're listening to a Rebel Media Podcast.
00:00:03.700 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen, and the rest of you,
00:00:07.180 in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite rebels.
00:00:12.080 I'm your host, David Menzies.
00:00:14.320 Well, the election campaign in Alberta is off and running,
00:00:17.980 and thanks to our rhetoric, Premier Rachel Notley is already channeling Hillary Clinton.
00:00:25.100 Yikes! Sheila Gunn-Reed will offer her analysis.
00:00:28.900 It's funny, isn't it? Late-night talk show hosts such as Stephen Colbert
00:00:33.680 incessantly dine out on bashing President Trump,
00:00:38.020 saying that his policies are harming Americans and America.
00:00:42.700 But the facts, well, they show otherwise, and Amanda Head will deliver the proof.
00:00:49.040 There's a leftist-fuelled hate fest raging right now regarding comments made by actor Charlie Hunnam.
00:00:55.420 You see, Charlie lauded Jordan Peterson for saying things that, well, make a lot of sense, actually.
00:01:03.520 And for some reason, this is offensive to the progressives.
00:01:07.760 Ben Davies shall explain all.
00:01:09.680 And finally, letters. We get your letters every minute of every day.
00:01:12.900 And I'll share some of your responses regarding an Ottawa condo board
00:01:17.240 that has told a major in the Royal Canadian Air Force
00:01:20.980 that he cannot fly a Canadian flag at his condominium unit.
00:01:26.840 And no, we're not making this up, folks.
00:01:29.680 Those are your rebels. Now let's round them up.
00:01:31.920 On Sunday night, news broke on the far-left-wing, NDP-affiliated Press Progress website
00:01:45.860 that UCP star candidate Kaylin Ford was a white supremacist.
00:01:52.460 A fellow UCP supporter had leaked her private Facebook messages
00:01:56.820 to the Broadbent Institute operation.
00:01:59.560 Now, I'll show you what Ford said, and I'll let you be the judge for yourself
00:02:04.460 if she's a white supremacist.
00:02:06.120 Now, for context, she was talking about terror attacks here.
00:02:10.860 She said,
00:02:11.840 When the perpetrator is an Islamist,
00:02:14.180 the denunciations are intermingled with breathless assurances
00:02:18.360 that they do not represent Islam,
00:02:21.040 and that Islam is a religion of peace, etc.
00:02:24.680 Then she said,
00:02:25.520 When the terrorists are white supremacists,
00:02:29.180 that kind of soul-searching or attempts to understand
00:02:32.520 the sources of their radicalization or their perverse moral reasoning
00:02:37.000 is beyond the pale.
00:02:39.300 She also said,
00:02:40.760 I'm somehow saddened by the demographic replacement
00:02:43.760 of white peoples in their homelands.
00:02:46.920 It's clear that it will not be a peaceful transition.
00:02:51.740 Ford immediately resigned,
00:02:53.180 saying that she didn't want to become a distraction
00:02:55.960 in the campaign.
00:02:57.640 And the NDP,
00:02:58.640 they claimed their very first head of the campaign.
00:03:02.100 When Rachel Notley then was asked about Ford
00:03:04.940 at her campaign kickoff,
00:03:07.120 this is what Notley said here.
00:03:09.780 Like all Albertans,
00:03:10.920 I was utterly shocked to hear of the comments
00:03:13.980 that that candidate,
00:03:16.540 who was, of course,
00:03:17.140 a star candidate for the UCP,
00:03:19.280 made.
00:03:19.780 And let me just say this.
00:03:21.860 I personally do not believe that Jason Kenney is racist.
00:03:25.740 But I do believe that the UCP as a party
00:03:28.440 has a problem with racism.
00:03:30.260 Wow.
00:03:30.900 Where does one even start the analysis?
00:03:34.140 Do we lament the fact that
00:03:35.620 Kaylin Ford had to step down
00:03:38.120 for doing something that
00:03:39.620 one apparently isn't supposed to do in politics,
00:03:42.340 i.e. speak the truth?
00:03:44.480 And then there's Alberta Premier Rachel Notley
00:03:46.920 already playing the basket of deplorables card,
00:03:50.780 declaring that the UCP
00:03:52.580 has a problem with racism,
00:03:55.820 all the while conveniently turning a blind eye
00:03:58.560 to official NDP policy
00:04:00.320 that is inherently anti-Semitic,
00:04:03.520 namely the New Democrat support
00:04:05.480 of the boycott, divestment,
00:04:07.560 sanction movement against Israel,
00:04:10.020 because Israel is supposedly
00:04:12.480 an apartheid state.
00:04:14.800 Just incredible.
00:04:16.400 And with more on this
00:04:17.540 nauseating kickoff
00:04:19.140 to the Alberta election campaign
00:04:20.940 is the host of The Gun Show,
00:04:22.840 Sheila Gunn-Reed.
00:04:23.700 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, my friend.
00:04:26.400 Hey, David.
00:04:26.900 Thanks for having me on.
00:04:27.820 Always a pleasure.
00:04:28.800 So, Sheila, let's tackle the comments
00:04:30.600 made by Ms. Ford first.
00:04:32.520 I don't really think
00:04:34.260 when it comes to the terrorism file
00:04:35.680 that she said anything wrong
00:04:37.200 in comparing how the usual suspects
00:04:39.960 treat different forms of terrorism.
00:04:42.240 For example,
00:04:43.820 if it's a white supremacist
00:04:45.720 perpetrating a massacre,
00:04:47.440 that is exactly what it is called,
00:04:49.620 and rightfully so.
00:04:50.560 But if a massacre is perpetrated
00:04:52.480 in the name of Allah,
00:04:54.680 that's not an Islamist extremism,
00:04:57.840 but rather it's mental illness extremism.
00:05:01.860 Apparently, we're just not allowed
00:05:03.920 to have an honest discussion
00:05:05.340 when it comes to Islamofascism.
00:05:06.960 So, Sheila, let me ask you,
00:05:09.560 what do you think is the reason
00:05:11.660 for this egregious double standard
00:05:14.000 in the first place?
00:05:16.320 Well, because we just can't discuss
00:05:19.900 radical Islam, political Islam.
00:05:23.520 We saw it play out the very week
00:05:25.920 that Caitlin Ford was turfed
00:05:28.140 from the UCP, at least as a candidate.
00:05:30.860 We saw the Christchurch shooting
00:05:34.100 and the backlash with that.
00:05:35.540 They're banning Jordan Peterson books.
00:05:38.120 They are banning semi-automatic rifles
00:05:41.420 in New Zealand.
00:05:43.080 And then just a couple of days later,
00:05:45.340 an African migrant
00:05:46.640 who has a history of pedophilia
00:05:48.580 abducts a bus full of children
00:05:50.740 and sets the bus on fire
00:05:52.100 to protest the treatment of refugees,
00:05:55.240 i.e. what he said
00:05:57.940 was poor treatment of refugees,
00:05:59.700 and we know they're treated pretty well.
00:06:01.600 And nobody wants to talk about that.
00:06:04.800 It's just sort of glossed right over.
00:06:07.000 But when there's this white supremacist attack,
00:06:11.380 all of a sudden,
00:06:12.620 everybody is responsible for it.
00:06:15.400 And when, you know,
00:06:17.140 something on the flip side happens,
00:06:19.060 Islamofascism, like you say,
00:06:20.980 we go through this series of justifications
00:06:23.860 that, well, it's not representative
00:06:25.500 of all Muslims.
00:06:26.660 Of course, we know that.
00:06:28.260 But why aren't we having these discussions
00:06:30.380 about the problems
00:06:31.420 within certain parts of that ideology?
00:06:34.180 And we can't without being called
00:06:35.860 white supremacists the way
00:06:38.080 Caitlin Ford was.
00:06:39.460 I mean, her reputation is ruined now.
00:06:42.960 And it was really just an easy comment
00:06:46.620 to weaponize a high profile,
00:06:50.140 highly successful,
00:06:52.800 young millennial woman.
00:06:54.660 And it was weaponized against her
00:06:56.460 by the, you know,
00:06:57.920 the left who wants to hold up
00:07:00.640 all women all the time.
00:07:02.580 And yet the inconvenient truth here,
00:07:05.180 Sheila,
00:07:05.680 is that the vast majority of terrorism
00:07:08.780 in the world,
00:07:10.440 and it has been this way for decades now,
00:07:13.400 is carried out in the name of Allah.
00:07:16.420 You know, and of course,
00:07:17.340 that does not represent all Muslims
00:07:19.060 because one of the biggest victim group
00:07:20.860 of these Islamic terrorists
00:07:22.500 are other Muslims.
00:07:23.920 Muslims, but it's this idea
00:07:25.720 that we can't have
00:07:26.880 an honest conversation about it.
00:07:28.600 Like what happened in Christchurch
00:07:29.980 was absolutely terrorism.
00:07:32.220 But what was different
00:07:33.600 about the coverage of the story
00:07:35.320 is that they used the T word right away,
00:07:37.960 terrorism.
00:07:38.780 They, right away,
00:07:39.480 they said white supremacist, right?
00:07:41.600 Whereas what we saw on the Danforth
00:07:43.480 last summer in Toronto
00:07:45.160 is that not only did people
00:07:47.640 avoid the T word,
00:07:49.580 not only did people avoid
00:07:51.220 this is Islamic extremism,
00:07:53.300 but there was actually
00:07:54.880 a covert movement behind the scenes
00:07:57.420 to get a spin doctor
00:07:59.140 to craft a press release
00:08:00.940 for this family
00:08:02.240 to, you know,
00:08:03.900 frame it as a mental illness narrative.
00:08:06.160 And I'm just a little tired
00:08:08.740 of this kind of,
00:08:10.520 you know, shenanigans
00:08:12.700 in terms of us not being able
00:08:14.600 to call one specific terrorism
00:08:17.400 for what it is.
00:08:18.400 Right.
00:08:20.520 And I mean,
00:08:21.160 it is reflect,
00:08:22.160 it's completely focused
00:08:23.800 on one religion
00:08:25.540 and one ideology.
00:08:27.160 I'll personalize this a little bit.
00:08:29.480 I'm Catholic.
00:08:30.480 It's very clear
00:08:31.540 that there has been
00:08:32.620 and still remains
00:08:33.780 a problem within my church
00:08:36.220 regarding the abuse,
00:08:38.840 the sexual abuse of children.
00:08:40.240 As long as,
00:08:42.900 as long as we avoid
00:08:45.040 talking about it,
00:08:45.860 there will be no purge
00:08:47.180 of those people
00:08:47.840 within our church.
00:08:48.780 And I think people,
00:08:50.000 including Catholics like myself,
00:08:51.500 are pretty eager
00:08:52.520 to talk about it.
00:08:53.340 You wade into sort of
00:08:54.520 that neck of the internet
00:08:56.180 and everybody's talking about it
00:08:58.200 because that's the only way
00:08:59.840 to get rid of it.
00:09:01.020 And I'm happy for that.
00:09:03.200 So why are we not
00:09:04.600 affording Muslims
00:09:05.640 that same sort of
00:09:07.820 disinfectant by daylight?
00:09:10.320 It's just not fair
00:09:11.940 to the rest of the religion
00:09:14.680 that just wants to practice
00:09:16.180 their religion in peace
00:09:17.340 if they keep end up
00:09:19.040 being lumped in
00:09:19.940 with all these extremists
00:09:21.920 by the left,
00:09:23.080 might I add.
00:09:23.600 It is the left
00:09:24.800 to conflate
00:09:26.080 regular Muslims
00:09:28.440 with radical Islamists
00:09:30.020 and makes it off limits
00:09:31.540 for us to talk about
00:09:32.360 the differences between the two.
00:09:33.820 It's not doing anybody
00:09:35.060 any favors
00:09:35.640 and it's making the world
00:09:36.600 less safe.
00:09:37.520 And you know,
00:09:38.140 and again, Sheila,
00:09:39.120 as I've said so often
00:09:40.360 that, you know,
00:09:40.940 you talk about
00:09:41.740 two more unlikely
00:09:45.500 bedfellows
00:09:46.760 than the left
00:09:47.820 and those who represent
00:09:49.420 radical Islam.
00:09:50.980 I mean,
00:09:51.220 if the left is all about
00:09:52.360 women's rights
00:09:53.180 and gay rights
00:09:54.120 and freedom of expression
00:09:55.340 and so on and so forth,
00:09:56.940 these are the things
00:09:58.080 that the Islamists hate.
00:09:59.980 and the idea that
00:10:01.440 they're, you know,
00:10:02.660 in bed together
00:10:03.940 as allies,
00:10:06.100 it's mind-boggling to me
00:10:07.960 and, you know,
00:10:09.460 it defies logic.
00:10:11.700 But going back to Ms. Ford,
00:10:13.440 as you said in your commentary,
00:10:14.900 she's,
00:10:15.660 apparently she said
00:10:16.740 that she stepped down
00:10:18.220 voluntarily
00:10:19.120 because she didn't want
00:10:20.360 to be a distraction
00:10:21.100 to the campaign.
00:10:22.260 Do you think that's the truth,
00:10:23.300 Sheila,
00:10:23.520 or do you think
00:10:24.300 she was pushed?
00:10:24.960 I think it's six
00:10:27.800 of one half
00:10:28.360 it has another.
00:10:29.280 I think that
00:10:30.300 she's a woman
00:10:32.980 who's deeply interested
00:10:34.540 in getting rid
00:10:36.120 of the NDP.
00:10:37.480 I mean,
00:10:37.760 that's why she's running
00:10:38.880 to make Alberta
00:10:40.700 a better place
00:10:41.420 and so,
00:10:42.160 you know,
00:10:42.440 if she remained on
00:10:43.180 as a candidate,
00:10:44.940 she would have been
00:10:45.500 just the focus
00:10:46.540 of the NDP
00:10:48.100 and I think
00:10:49.000 Jason Kenney
00:10:50.000 is very risk-averse
00:10:50.980 and he doesn't
00:10:53.140 talk to me.
00:10:53.980 So I think
00:10:55.160 they pushed her to go
00:10:56.820 and she was more
00:10:57.560 than happy to go.
00:10:58.520 But going back
00:10:59.000 to your comments
00:10:59.520 about the strange
00:11:00.420 bedfellows of,
00:11:01.780 you know,
00:11:02.020 the far-left socialists
00:11:03.420 and the NDP
00:11:03.980 and radical Islam,
00:11:06.300 that just points
00:11:08.120 directly to their
00:11:09.120 media campaign.
00:11:10.420 I mean,
00:11:10.640 they adopted
00:11:11.560 boycott,
00:11:12.480 divestment,
00:11:13.000 and sanctions
00:11:13.520 against Israel,
00:11:14.940 which is basically
00:11:15.960 a Hamas idea
00:11:17.740 and it's an idea
00:11:20.420 that would be adopted
00:11:21.220 by any neo-Nazi
00:11:22.820 or white supremacist
00:11:23.960 to target
00:11:25.420 Israeli businesses
00:11:26.480 and yet they have
00:11:28.100 the audacity
00:11:29.020 to call other people
00:11:30.380 white supremacists.
00:11:31.260 It's really strange.
00:11:32.540 Yeah,
00:11:32.720 and by the way,
00:11:33.500 the reason I refer
00:11:34.620 to this as anti-Semitic
00:11:36.060 because you'll always
00:11:36.700 have the defenders
00:11:37.760 of BDS say,
00:11:38.920 well,
00:11:39.400 you know,
00:11:39.620 there's a difference
00:11:40.140 between being
00:11:40.860 anti-state of Israel
00:11:42.020 and anti-Semitic.
00:11:43.440 However,
00:11:44.160 if you're going to frame
00:11:45.420 the rationale for BDS
00:11:47.480 because Israel
00:11:48.800 is a so-called
00:11:50.060 apartheid state,
00:11:51.360 which is what they do,
00:11:52.560 Sheila,
00:11:53.380 then we know
00:11:54.740 there is no apartheid
00:11:56.400 in Israel.
00:11:57.320 This is a complete lie.
00:12:00.160 It's a libel.
00:12:01.860 So when your premise
00:12:04.000 for BDS
00:12:05.260 is based on a lie,
00:12:07.640 I have to think,
00:12:08.840 what's the real reason
00:12:10.340 why you're going after it?
00:12:12.000 And in my book,
00:12:13.440 it's because this is
00:12:14.520 the Jewish state
00:12:15.380 surrounded by neighbors
00:12:17.280 that are hateful towards it
00:12:19.840 when it wiped off the map,
00:12:21.280 and that's why
00:12:22.160 it's anti-Semitic.
00:12:24.800 Well,
00:12:25.440 and just the utter stupidity
00:12:27.120 of the unintended consequences,
00:12:29.040 right?
00:12:29.460 I mean,
00:12:29.780 when they target
00:12:30.560 Jewish-owned businesses,
00:12:32.580 they actually target
00:12:33.920 the Palestinian employees
00:12:35.400 of the Jewish-owned businesses
00:12:37.640 and put them out of work,
00:12:39.460 and those people
00:12:40.380 are just,
00:12:41.120 you know,
00:12:41.700 collateral damage
00:12:42.880 in the war
00:12:43.580 against the state
00:12:44.400 of Israel.
00:12:45.480 But first-world do-gooders
00:12:47.380 here in Canada,
00:12:48.320 like the NDP,
00:12:49.080 they don't seem to care
00:12:49.800 about that sort of stuff.
00:12:51.160 No,
00:12:51.660 they don't care.
00:12:52.460 They're just,
00:12:53.260 I guess,
00:12:55.220 useful pawns,
00:12:57.000 if you will.
00:12:58.060 And,
00:12:58.540 you know,
00:12:59.460 the leaders
00:13:00.140 of these organizations,
00:13:01.540 whether it's Hamas,
00:13:02.380 the PLO,
00:13:03.340 Hezbollah,
00:13:04.100 you'll never have to have
00:13:05.500 a red-tag day for them.
00:13:07.000 They live high off the hog,
00:13:08.780 as always.
00:13:09.360 But we,
00:13:10.020 again,
00:13:10.640 turn a blind eye
00:13:11.340 to that hypocrisy, too.
00:13:13.320 Sheila,
00:13:13.800 great commentary.
00:13:15.200 We've got to wrap it here.
00:13:16.920 And it looks like
00:13:18.380 you've got a fun
00:13:20.220 five weeks or so
00:13:21.860 ahead of you
00:13:22.560 covering this campaign
00:13:23.980 that's already started off
00:13:25.380 on a very nasty note.
00:13:26.580 Yeah,
00:13:28.660 it's going to be
00:13:29.080 a sleazy month
00:13:31.100 ahead of us
00:13:31.940 with the NDP.
00:13:33.300 I mean,
00:13:33.860 like you said
00:13:34.400 in my commentary,
00:13:36.040 they've gone full
00:13:36.960 Hillary Clinton
00:13:37.660 and they did it
00:13:38.480 on about
00:13:39.060 day one and a half.
00:13:40.820 So,
00:13:41.240 I mean,
00:13:41.700 this one is going
00:13:42.660 to really be a winner.
00:13:44.200 Well,
00:13:44.560 hopefully it ends
00:13:45.160 the same way,
00:13:45.880 just like how it ended
00:13:46.740 for Hillary Clinton.
00:13:47.980 Okay,
00:13:48.320 so,
00:13:48.960 Sheila,
00:13:49.380 have a great weekend
00:13:50.680 and thanks for weighing in.
00:13:52.360 Thank you,
00:13:54.400 G. David.
00:13:54.920 You got it.
00:13:56.000 And that was
00:13:56.700 Sheila Gunn-Reed
00:13:57.640 in Alberta.
00:13:58.500 Keep it here, folks.
00:13:59.360 More of our
00:13:59.720 roundup to come
00:14:00.580 right after this.
00:14:01.700 Late Night TV host
00:14:10.280 slash comedian
00:14:11.180 Stephen Colbert.
00:14:12.180 I don't know
00:14:12.460 if you can really
00:14:12.980 even call him a comedian
00:14:14.120 or his writer's comedians
00:14:15.520 because their repertoire
00:14:16.360 of comedy
00:14:16.960 for the last three years
00:14:17.900 has consisted
00:14:18.580 pretty much 99%
00:14:20.220 bashing President Trump
00:14:21.860 and his policies.
00:14:22.920 So,
00:14:23.260 Stephen Colbert
00:14:23.640 gave an interview
00:14:24.400 at PaleyFest
00:14:25.460 and he was discussing
00:14:26.920 the fact that
00:14:27.620 Late Night TV hosts
00:14:28.600 basically are very transparent
00:14:29.960 in their hate
00:14:30.680 and disdain
00:14:31.200 for this president
00:14:31.980 and they don't ever
00:14:32.900 miss an opportunity
00:14:33.680 to bash him.
00:14:35.520 So,
00:14:35.740 Stephen Colbert says this,
00:14:36.760 I don't think
00:14:37.140 there's anything wrong
00:14:37.960 with it.
00:14:38.360 I don't think
00:14:38.820 there's anything wrong
00:14:39.640 with saying
00:14:40.260 what this person
00:14:41.460 is doing
00:14:42.140 to families
00:14:43.220 and the nation
00:14:44.020 is horrible.
00:14:44.880 So,
00:14:45.780 I emailed my editor
00:14:46.660 and I said,
00:14:48.080 you know,
00:14:48.440 I really just want
00:14:49.060 to kind of take
00:14:49.500 this opportunity
00:14:50.160 to talk about
00:14:51.060 what the president
00:14:51.760 has done
00:14:52.740 and I have this
00:14:53.680 printed off
00:14:54.780 from whitehouse.gov
00:14:56.080 I don't know,
00:14:57.220 10 pages long
00:14:58.060 printed both sides
00:14:59.140 talking about
00:14:59.800 the president's
00:15:00.480 accomplishments
00:15:01.040 and I couldn't
00:15:01.960 possibly go through
00:15:02.820 all of them
00:15:03.360 because it would
00:15:03.920 take hours upon
00:15:04.700 hours upon hours
00:15:05.600 so I highlighted
00:15:07.280 just some of my
00:15:07.980 favorites
00:15:08.240 so let's go
00:15:08.800 through those.
00:15:09.600 With regards
00:15:10.280 to the economy,
00:15:11.640 this is the eighth
00:15:12.120 time this year
00:15:12.700 that the unemployment
00:15:13.320 rate has been
00:15:13.960 below 4%.
00:15:14.980 Prior to this year
00:15:15.980 the unemployment
00:15:16.500 rate had fallen
00:15:17.380 below 4%
00:15:18.280 only five times
00:15:19.720 since 1970.
00:15:21.360 The unemployment
00:15:21.840 rate for African
00:15:22.760 Americans
00:15:23.360 this past May
00:15:24.580 fell to 5.9%
00:15:26.120 which is the lowest
00:15:27.060 point ever
00:15:28.160 are on record.
00:15:30.480 Continuing on
00:15:31.160 with economy
00:15:31.660 African American
00:15:32.440 and Hispanic
00:15:33.080 American poverty
00:15:33.960 rates reached
00:15:35.060 record lows
00:15:35.800 of 21.2%
00:15:37.280 and 18.3%
00:15:38.920 respectively
00:15:39.500 in 2017.
00:15:41.420 Manufacturing
00:15:42.100 added 284,000
00:15:43.820 jobs in 2018
00:15:45.080 the most added
00:15:46.500 since the year
00:15:47.160 1997.
00:15:48.640 And on and on
00:15:50.020 it goes
00:15:50.560 when it comes
00:15:51.240 to the accomplishments
00:15:52.240 of the Trump
00:15:53.360 administration.
00:15:54.360 Not that you're
00:15:55.400 going to hear
00:15:55.960 about these
00:15:56.420 achievements all
00:15:57.200 that much
00:15:57.800 not when there
00:15:58.520 are really
00:15:59.000 juicy fake
00:16:00.060 news stories
00:16:00.780 out there
00:16:01.200 to report
00:16:01.760 such as
00:16:02.420 oh I don't
00:16:02.760 know
00:16:03.020 Russian collusion
00:16:04.400 oh and don't
00:16:05.820 turn to the
00:16:06.500 late night shows
00:16:07.400 for comic relief
00:16:08.400 either folks
00:16:09.080 because the
00:16:10.140 likes of Colbert
00:16:11.020 and Kimmel
00:16:11.760 and Fallon
00:16:12.440 and Myers
00:16:12.980 well they make
00:16:14.280 for a Greek
00:16:14.840 course when it
00:16:15.740 comes to the
00:16:16.520 dump on Trump
00:16:17.680 narrative
00:16:18.160 because despite
00:16:19.700 Trump's numerous
00:16:20.680 accomplishments
00:16:21.340 he is according
00:16:22.740 to Stephen Colbert
00:16:23.640 at least doing
00:16:24.440 horrible things
00:16:25.580 to Americans
00:16:26.440 and America
00:16:28.020 unbelievable
00:16:29.440 and joining me
00:16:30.840 now to further
00:16:31.540 discuss this
00:16:32.520 monotonous
00:16:33.720 leftist hate
00:16:34.800 fest
00:16:35.220 regarding the
00:16:36.200 president
00:16:36.560 is our
00:16:37.500 LA based
00:16:38.200 Hollywood
00:16:38.520 conservative
00:16:39.160 Amanda Head
00:16:40.000 welcome to
00:16:40.560 Rebel Roundup
00:16:41.100 Amanda
00:16:41.480 thank you for
00:16:42.760 having me
00:16:43.300 always a pleasure
00:16:44.040 my friend
00:16:44.520 so Amanda
00:16:45.020 let's tackle
00:16:45.960 the likes of
00:16:46.620 Colbert and
00:16:47.140 company
00:16:47.480 you know
00:16:48.240 I think in
00:16:48.720 the entertainment
00:16:49.300 business
00:16:49.760 you need to
00:16:50.860 be good
00:16:51.500 or you need
00:16:52.360 to be bad
00:16:52.940 or you need
00:16:53.360 to be so bad
00:16:54.520 that you're
00:16:54.940 actually good
00:16:56.000 but the
00:16:56.920 unforgivable
00:16:57.980 sin is to
00:16:59.200 be boring
00:17:00.340 and quite
00:17:01.140 frankly Amanda
00:17:01.920 these late
00:17:03.100 night nabobs
00:17:04.060 of negativity
00:17:04.800 are so boring
00:17:06.320 that millions
00:17:07.320 of Americans
00:17:07.960 if the ratings
00:17:08.680 are any indicator
00:17:09.540 are simply
00:17:10.140 tuning out
00:17:10.740 so why is it
00:17:12.100 do you think
00:17:12.680 these one trick
00:17:13.720 pony hosts
00:17:14.740 are still going
00:17:16.160 down the
00:17:16.880 dump on Trump
00:17:17.780 path in the
00:17:18.340 first place
00:17:18.900 I don't know
00:17:20.180 I mean like you
00:17:21.020 said it's so
00:17:21.620 boring and I
00:17:22.580 just saw a
00:17:23.580 headline flash
00:17:24.440 across my
00:17:25.100 screen that
00:17:25.600 some Democrat
00:17:26.320 again compared
00:17:27.640 President Trump
00:17:28.520 to Hitler
00:17:29.040 and it's like
00:17:29.860 yawn you guys
00:17:31.560 need to get
00:17:32.020 more material
00:17:32.700 but it's
00:17:33.360 practically every
00:17:34.360 late night
00:17:34.920 comedian
00:17:35.420 it's pretty
00:17:37.140 much everyone
00:17:38.140 in mainstream
00:17:38.980 media and
00:17:40.360 they completely
00:17:41.000 ignore the fact
00:17:41.700 if you turn
00:17:42.180 on any of
00:17:42.860 the other
00:17:43.240 any of the
00:17:43.800 ABC networks
00:17:44.780 any of the
00:17:45.180 mainstream media
00:17:45.800 networks today
00:17:46.500 no one is
00:17:47.480 talking about
00:17:48.120 the fact that
00:17:48.740 this president
00:17:49.340 has all but
00:17:50.100 eradicated ISIS
00:17:51.480 the last and
00:17:53.280 final stronghold
00:17:54.540 you have to
00:17:55.100 think of it in
00:17:55.420 terms of numbers
00:17:56.040 so ISIS used to
00:17:56.960 control I think
00:17:58.000 it was 40,000 miles
00:17:59.160 roughly the size
00:17:59.940 of Kentucky
00:18:00.460 they had a tiny
00:18:01.380 tiny section of
00:18:02.340 Syria about the
00:18:03.800 size of Central
00:18:04.560 Park and we are
00:18:05.740 closing in on it
00:18:06.560 and we have
00:18:07.040 Syria Syrian
00:18:08.620 insurgent fighters
00:18:09.560 who are tearing
00:18:10.600 down the ISIS
00:18:11.520 flags there and
00:18:12.780 you won't see a
00:18:13.440 word about it on
00:18:14.220 mainstream media
00:18:14.880 you don't see a
00:18:15.600 word about the
00:18:16.240 economic numbers
00:18:17.140 and GDP numbers
00:18:18.100 on mainstream media
00:18:19.060 and people like
00:18:19.760 Stephen Colbert
00:18:20.480 are a part of
00:18:21.740 the problem
00:18:22.260 and they
00:18:22.760 completely ignore
00:18:24.680 all of the great
00:18:25.800 things happening
00:18:26.440 in this country
00:18:27.100 the two main
00:18:27.800 things that people
00:18:28.660 were seeking
00:18:29.680 in the 2016
00:18:30.800 election was a
00:18:32.160 safer America
00:18:33.000 and a more
00:18:33.560 prosperous America
00:18:34.560 and the president
00:18:35.440 despite the fact
00:18:36.280 that we haven't
00:18:36.760 even gotten the
00:18:37.300 wall yet
00:18:37.720 has delivered on
00:18:38.860 those two things
00:18:39.560 but what's
00:18:39.940 interesting to note
00:18:40.860 Ted Koppel
00:18:42.200 who is you know
00:18:44.160 an old dog
00:18:44.960 reporter
00:18:45.460 he's a part of
00:18:46.300 that tradition
00:18:47.920 of journalists
00:18:48.880 where they
00:18:49.240 actually neutrally
00:18:50.620 report on the
00:18:51.420 news
00:18:51.680 not this current
00:18:52.680 climate of
00:18:54.160 journalistic
00:18:54.820 hooliganism
00:18:55.620 and he said
00:18:57.080 in a recent
00:18:57.600 interview
00:18:58.000 that you know
00:18:58.680 mainstream media
00:18:59.580 they basically
00:19:00.640 have decided
00:19:01.400 that Trump
00:19:01.900 is the worst
00:19:02.500 person in the
00:19:03.140 world
00:19:03.340 and everything
00:19:04.000 they do
00:19:04.760 you know
00:19:05.320 despite the
00:19:06.020 reputation
00:19:06.560 of New York
00:19:07.060 Times
00:19:07.420 and Washington
00:19:08.300 Post
00:19:08.780 and long
00:19:10.020 standing
00:19:10.580 media
00:19:11.540 establishments
00:19:12.320 and news
00:19:12.640 establishments
00:19:13.260 like that
00:19:13.620 50 years ago
00:19:14.400 you could actually
00:19:14.980 rely on them
00:19:15.600 for the news
00:19:16.100 but despite
00:19:16.620 the fact
00:19:17.120 that they have
00:19:17.860 that reputation
00:19:19.080 from the past
00:19:20.140 of being reliable
00:19:20.920 sources
00:19:21.360 they all have
00:19:22.120 committed
00:19:22.520 to the fact
00:19:23.720 that President
00:19:24.640 Donald Trump
00:19:25.280 is bad
00:19:25.800 for America
00:19:26.480 and they are
00:19:27.480 all committed
00:19:28.120 including comedians
00:19:29.340 like I don't know
00:19:29.900 if you can call
00:19:30.260 him a comedian
00:19:30.700 late night hosts
00:19:31.960 like Stephen Colbert
00:19:32.800 and they are all
00:19:33.700 in this bubble
00:19:34.940 of thought
00:19:36.960 that they have
00:19:38.060 to propagate
00:19:38.620 this message
00:19:39.260 but it also
00:19:39.900 doesn't help
00:19:41.540 slash hurt
00:19:42.340 depending on
00:19:42.900 which side
00:19:43.280 of the aisle
00:19:44.060 you're on
00:19:44.500 that he's here
00:19:46.200 in this Hollywood
00:19:47.320 bubble
00:19:47.740 he's here
00:19:48.160 in Los Angeles
00:19:48.860 or for those
00:19:49.420 in New York
00:19:50.020 like Robert De Niro
00:19:51.260 who screams
00:19:52.060 F Trump
00:19:52.740 at speeches
00:19:53.400 they exist
00:19:54.980 in this bubble
00:19:55.700 of elitism
00:19:56.560 and they've got
00:19:58.020 everybody talking
00:19:59.020 and echoing
00:19:59.720 and parroting
00:20:00.300 the same points
00:20:00.980 back to them
00:20:01.560 so it makes you
00:20:02.560 wonder if they
00:20:03.080 really even realize
00:20:04.100 how out of touch
00:20:04.840 they are
00:20:05.360 yeah
00:20:06.060 and you know
00:20:06.720 that's the other
00:20:07.660 element here too
00:20:08.560 isn't it Amanda
00:20:09.180 I mean the
00:20:09.780 discourse
00:20:10.720 has just gone
00:20:12.160 down into the sewer
00:20:13.280 the profanity
00:20:14.280 you mentioned
00:20:15.500 a democrat
00:20:16.480 comparing
00:20:17.920 Trump to Hitler
00:20:18.960 it's not that
00:20:19.780 you can't play
00:20:20.460 the Hitler card
00:20:21.160 it's just that
00:20:21.840 unless someone
00:20:23.460 is committing
00:20:24.720 genocide
00:20:25.300 don't play
00:20:26.520 the Hitler card
00:20:27.560 because it's
00:20:28.440 completely invalid
00:20:29.320 but you know
00:20:29.760 I was going
00:20:30.520 through the
00:20:31.000 the comments
00:20:31.880 so far
00:20:32.520 on your commentary
00:20:33.700 and one viewer
00:20:35.060 weighed in
00:20:35.600 why are you
00:20:36.460 so angry
00:20:37.120 comedians
00:20:37.860 have made fun
00:20:38.640 of presidents
00:20:39.480 forever
00:20:39.920 which is true
00:20:40.840 Amanda
00:20:41.120 but I think
00:20:41.680 the difference
00:20:42.260 here
00:20:42.620 is that
00:20:43.660 it's
00:20:44.700 it's not
00:20:45.380 like the old
00:20:46.220 you know
00:20:46.540 Johnny Carson
00:20:47.320 show
00:20:47.660 where there
00:20:48.020 were jokes
00:20:48.660 that were
00:20:49.020 genuinely
00:20:49.460 humorous
00:20:51.120 there is
00:20:52.060 this mean
00:20:53.080 spirited
00:20:53.820 diatribe
00:20:54.820 to the
00:20:55.460 late night
00:20:56.740 hosts
00:20:57.400 of today
00:20:58.260 and quite
00:20:59.860 frankly
00:21:00.360 the jokes
00:21:01.280 are not
00:21:01.880 funny
00:21:02.380 and used
00:21:03.560 to be
00:21:03.920 that's where
00:21:04.680 I went
00:21:05.120 for comic
00:21:05.680 relief
00:21:06.060 was the
00:21:06.600 late night
00:21:07.020 shows
00:21:07.440 and they're
00:21:08.560 not delivering
00:21:09.200 that anymore
00:21:09.880 yeah
00:21:10.920 and you know
00:21:11.720 that's
00:21:12.340 kind of
00:21:12.800 the point
00:21:13.240 of my
00:21:13.580 video
00:21:14.000 is that
00:21:14.660 you know
00:21:15.180 comedians
00:21:16.180 can make
00:21:16.600 fun of
00:21:16.960 people
00:21:17.180 that's
00:21:17.500 that's
00:21:17.800 their job
00:21:18.460 and I
00:21:19.120 think
00:21:19.400 that honestly
00:21:20.320 comedy
00:21:20.820 is the
00:21:21.300 last vestige
00:21:22.020 of free
00:21:22.400 speech
00:21:22.680 in this
00:21:22.940 country
00:21:23.220 and it's
00:21:23.480 the one
00:21:23.860 thing
00:21:24.100 that I
00:21:24.400 think
00:21:24.580 can bring
00:21:24.940 us
00:21:25.120 together
00:21:25.500 and back
00:21:26.700 in the
00:21:26.920 days
00:21:27.180 of Jay
00:21:27.520 Leno
00:21:27.860 that could
00:21:28.780 happen
00:21:29.120 and Stephen
00:21:29.540 Colbert's
00:21:30.020 comments
00:21:30.360 were actually
00:21:30.980 in reference
00:21:31.480 to something
00:21:31.980 that Jay
00:21:32.380 Leno said
00:21:33.040 about
00:21:33.400 you know
00:21:33.980 being so
00:21:35.080 one-sided
00:21:35.900 in late
00:21:36.880 night
00:21:37.160 or comedy
00:21:37.800 or in
00:21:38.580 the media
00:21:38.980 in general
00:21:39.700 and the fact
00:21:41.040 that it just
00:21:41.520 makes life
00:21:42.160 tough for
00:21:42.700 these people
00:21:43.240 but it
00:21:44.080 seems that
00:21:44.860 it's quite
00:21:45.180 the contrary
00:21:45.780 that it
00:21:46.160 doesn't make
00:21:46.660 life tough
00:21:47.220 for people
00:21:47.620 like Stephen
00:21:48.160 Colbert
00:21:48.540 because they
00:21:49.140 continue to
00:21:49.700 be on the
00:21:50.140 air
00:21:50.400 they continue
00:21:51.580 to have
00:21:52.040 viewers
00:21:52.420 from that
00:21:53.040 fringe element
00:21:53.920 of the
00:21:54.340 left
00:21:54.620 and people
00:21:55.020 keep lifting
00:21:55.560 them up
00:21:55.940 and giving
00:21:56.240 them jobs
00:21:56.780 so it's
00:21:58.020 unfortunate
00:21:58.500 because yes
00:21:59.460 like you
00:21:59.880 said
00:22:00.160 in the
00:22:00.420 days of
00:22:00.820 yore
00:22:01.180 you did
00:22:02.300 have
00:22:02.540 comedians
00:22:03.100 who were
00:22:03.740 equal
00:22:04.320 opportunity
00:22:05.020 offenders
00:22:05.620 they made
00:22:06.480 fun of
00:22:06.880 everybody
00:22:07.360 and that's
00:22:07.760 the glory
00:22:08.180 of comedy
00:22:08.740 and that's
00:22:09.620 the reason
00:22:10.060 why people
00:22:10.720 you know
00:22:11.560 at that time
00:22:12.260 didn't take
00:22:12.860 offense to it
00:22:13.520 because it
00:22:14.160 was an equal
00:22:15.360 opportunity
00:22:16.080 but also
00:22:16.700 like you
00:22:17.120 said
00:22:17.380 I mean
00:22:17.700 their jokes
00:22:18.760 quote unquote
00:22:19.540 jokes
00:22:20.020 are just
00:22:20.880 dripping
00:22:21.620 with hatred
00:22:22.560 for this
00:22:23.100 man
00:22:23.360 and they
00:22:23.680 make fun
00:22:24.060 of his
00:22:24.360 wife
00:22:24.760 and they
00:22:25.040 make fun
00:22:25.400 of his
00:22:25.720 children
00:22:26.120 and even
00:22:26.920 their youngest
00:22:27.380 son
00:22:27.680 baron
00:22:28.020 trump
00:22:28.340 and it's
00:22:28.660 like that
00:22:29.020 that just
00:22:29.700 takes it
00:22:30.100 too far
00:22:30.500 and it's
00:22:30.760 just disgusting
00:22:31.460 oh I
00:22:32.200 agree Amanda
00:22:33.020 and I like
00:22:33.840 that phrase
00:22:34.400 you used
00:22:34.800 equal opportunity
00:22:35.780 offender
00:22:36.240 but we
00:22:36.560 don't see
00:22:37.020 that
00:22:37.280 and you
00:22:37.580 know
00:22:37.720 and yet
00:22:38.260 look at
00:22:39.120 the democratic
00:22:39.760 party
00:22:40.160 I mean
00:22:40.620 you talk
00:22:41.060 about a
00:22:41.480 dumpster
00:22:41.940 fire
00:22:42.260 just in
00:22:42.800 terms
00:22:43.200 of the
00:22:44.080 candidates
00:22:44.980 vying to
00:22:45.820 become
00:22:46.140 leader
00:22:46.660 for the
00:22:48.060 democratic
00:22:48.440 party
00:22:48.760 and potentially
00:22:49.600 the next
00:22:50.060 president of
00:22:50.600 the US
00:22:51.040 I mean
00:22:51.920 that's a
00:22:52.840 goldmine of
00:22:54.000 comedy there
00:22:54.720 but they
00:22:55.840 you know
00:22:56.300 with very few
00:22:57.140 exceptions
00:22:57.680 they tiptoe
00:22:59.260 around making
00:23:00.160 jokes of these
00:23:00.920 characters
00:23:01.440 don't they
00:23:01.980 right
00:23:02.880 yeah
00:23:03.120 in fact
00:23:03.500 the most
00:23:03.800 recent one
00:23:04.300 I can
00:23:04.560 think of
00:23:05.060 is
00:23:05.500 I can't
00:23:06.560 remember
00:23:06.800 who it
00:23:07.080 was
00:23:07.440 maybe
00:23:08.060 wasn't
00:23:08.780 Jimmy
00:23:08.960 Campbell
00:23:09.200 Jimmy
00:23:09.440 Fallon
00:23:09.740 maybe
00:23:09.960 making fun
00:23:11.120 of Beto
00:23:11.540 O'Rourke
00:23:11.960 and his
00:23:12.400 hand gestures
00:23:13.120 but again
00:23:14.020 it wasn't
00:23:14.580 mean spirited
00:23:15.340 it was just
00:23:15.840 kind of teasing
00:23:16.560 his mannerisms
00:23:18.200 and if it's
00:23:20.180 the same story
00:23:21.060 with President
00:23:21.600 Trump
00:23:21.960 they are
00:23:22.700 you know
00:23:23.420 showing him
00:23:24.180 making some
00:23:24.980 type of symbol
00:23:25.760 that they think
00:23:26.700 has become
00:23:27.380 the symbol
00:23:27.860 of white privilege
00:23:28.660 and then calling
00:23:29.280 him a racist
00:23:30.020 and it's
00:23:31.360 you can always
00:23:32.600 tell it's very
00:23:33.380 two very
00:23:34.320 different stories
00:23:35.360 and two very
00:23:36.140 different sides
00:23:36.780 of the coin
00:23:37.360 when they
00:23:38.400 make fun
00:23:39.200 of President
00:23:39.840 Trump
00:23:40.340 and deride him
00:23:41.420 as opposed
00:23:42.520 to when they
00:23:43.360 poke a little
00:23:44.240 bit of humorous
00:23:45.540 fun at a
00:23:46.240 Democrat
00:23:46.560 like Beto
00:23:47.220 O'Rourke
00:23:47.620 yeah and talk
00:23:48.420 about low
00:23:48.920 hanging fruit
00:23:49.640 his hand gestures
00:23:50.460 why didn't
00:23:50.860 they make fun
00:23:51.380 of what
00:23:51.780 Beto O'Rourke
00:23:52.640 said last week
00:23:53.520 that capitalism
00:23:54.560 is inherently
00:23:55.500 racist
00:23:56.260 I mean
00:23:56.840 you don't even
00:23:58.500 need to come
00:23:58.980 up with a
00:23:59.280 punchline
00:23:59.760 you just
00:24:00.100 have to
00:24:00.440 quote this
00:24:01.020 guy to
00:24:01.840 get people
00:24:02.420 laughing
00:24:02.920 yeah and
00:24:04.160 he's the
00:24:04.940 guy who
00:24:05.660 pledged to
00:24:07.400 not take
00:24:07.860 any oil money
00:24:08.740 and then he
00:24:09.560 took the
00:24:10.000 second highest
00:24:10.740 amount of
00:24:11.180 oil money
00:24:11.760 throughout his
00:24:12.340 campaign
00:24:12.780 second only
00:24:13.580 to the man
00:24:14.300 who beat him
00:24:14.960 for his
00:24:15.400 Tennessee
00:24:15.760 Ted Cruz
00:24:16.500 see I'm
00:24:17.440 laughing already
00:24:18.200 Amanda
00:24:18.600 and you're
00:24:18.920 just reciting
00:24:19.600 facts
00:24:20.200 so there you
00:24:20.960 go
00:24:21.160 well Amanda
00:24:21.880 it's so
00:24:22.720 sad
00:24:23.080 all I can
00:24:23.780 say to the
00:24:24.960 younger folks
00:24:25.680 is go onto
00:24:26.360 YouTube
00:24:26.780 watch
00:24:27.720 clips from
00:24:28.680 the Johnny
00:24:29.100 Carson show
00:24:29.900 because even
00:24:30.860 when Johnny
00:24:31.460 was corny
00:24:32.200 even when
00:24:33.060 Johnny was
00:24:33.800 bombing on
00:24:34.500 his monologue
00:24:35.120 it was funny
00:24:36.420 there was that
00:24:37.260 kind of charm
00:24:37.940 to it
00:24:38.300 and it's all
00:24:39.340 gone today
00:24:39.960 sadly
00:24:40.420 so anyways
00:24:41.400 Amanda
00:24:41.680 great commentary
00:24:42.400 and thanks for
00:24:43.320 joining me here
00:24:43.920 thank you
00:24:45.040 you got it
00:24:45.780 and that was
00:24:46.540 Amanda Head
00:24:47.160 in Hollywood
00:24:47.940 keep it here
00:24:48.640 folks
00:24:48.960 more of
00:24:49.520 Rebel Roundup
00:24:50.040 to come
00:24:50.380 right after
00:24:51.120 this
00:24:51.460 so review
00:24:59.400 and story
00:25:00.260 time
00:25:00.660 so first
00:25:01.280 Triple Frontier
00:25:02.160 star
00:25:02.720 Charlie Hunnam
00:25:03.440 came under
00:25:04.000 fire
00:25:04.420 after an
00:25:05.200 interview in
00:25:05.680 Men's Health
00:25:06.200 where he praised
00:25:06.980 your boy
00:25:07.860 Jordan Peterson
00:25:09.120 immediately the
00:25:10.080 leftist clause
00:25:10.700 in the media
00:25:11.020 came out
00:25:11.420 and blew
00:25:11.700 check marks
00:25:12.140 on Twitter
00:25:12.500 to destroy
00:25:13.260 Charlie
00:25:13.720 Mary Sue
00:25:14.640 ran a headline
00:25:15.220 and quote
00:25:15.600 I like Triple
00:25:16.240 Frontier
00:25:16.700 and then
00:25:17.280 Charlie Hunnam
00:25:17.980 had to go
00:25:18.620 and ruin it
00:25:19.780 Yahoo Entertainment
00:25:20.860 said quote
00:25:21.360 actor Charlie Hunnam
00:25:22.340 sparks outcry
00:25:23.420 after revealing
00:25:23.940 he's a big fan
00:25:25.000 of men's rights
00:25:25.780 figure Jordan Peterson
00:25:26.880 and Al read
00:25:27.560 the headline
00:25:27.960 quote
00:25:28.460 Charlie Hunnam
00:25:29.200 is a big fan
00:25:30.140 of men's rights
00:25:30.980 hero Jordan Peterson
00:25:32.320 so what is the
00:25:33.280 problem with the
00:25:34.000 beliefs that Charlie
00:25:34.800 adheres to
00:25:35.400 check out the slant
00:25:36.880 here
00:25:37.120 after salting
00:25:38.040 the headline
00:25:38.500 they say quote
00:25:39.300 Hunnam mentioned
00:25:39.960 his admiration
00:25:40.780 for Jordan Peterson
00:25:42.060 the controversial
00:25:43.080 psychologist
00:25:43.840 author
00:25:44.400 and hero
00:25:44.980 of the men's
00:25:45.620 rights community
00:25:46.380 and what did
00:25:47.040 Charlie actually say
00:25:48.200 he said quote
00:25:49.000 I love the message
00:25:50.020 he promotes
00:25:50.620 which is
00:25:51.120 take your life
00:25:52.040 seriously
00:25:52.600 carry as much
00:25:53.360 responsibility
00:25:54.120 as possible
00:25:54.960 I think in his
00:25:55.860 words he says
00:25:56.500 pick up the heaviest
00:25:57.460 thing you can
00:25:58.200 and carry it
00:25:59.260 he went on to
00:25:59.820 liken Peterson's
00:26:00.560 mentality to those
00:26:01.340 of special force
00:26:02.140 guys
00:26:02.500 quotes
00:26:03.000 in this day and age
00:26:03.900 everyone's grown
00:26:04.860 soft and entitled
00:26:06.400 Hunnam said
00:26:07.060 it's like
00:26:07.600 no guys
00:26:08.300 you're not
00:26:08.780 entitled
00:26:09.360 to anything
00:26:10.560 unquote
00:26:11.180 well gee whiz
00:26:12.200 that sounds like
00:26:12.740 the worst
00:26:13.160 activism hero
00:26:14.460 ever right
00:26:15.300 gracious
00:26:15.960 imagine that
00:26:17.200 there is a
00:26:17.900 leftist hate
00:26:18.840 fest on
00:26:19.460 right now
00:26:20.020 for comments
00:26:21.220 Charlie Hunnam
00:26:22.300 made in
00:26:23.140 Men's Health
00:26:23.940 magazine
00:26:24.420 and the outrage
00:26:25.940 is due to
00:26:26.680 Charlie quoting
00:26:27.780 Jordan Peterson
00:26:28.760 saying things
00:26:29.940 that are actually
00:26:30.900 oh I don't know
00:26:32.140 common sense
00:26:33.140 hey folks
00:26:34.480 forget about
00:26:35.240 the triple
00:26:36.020 frontier
00:26:36.500 do you ever
00:26:37.320 get that feeling
00:26:38.100 that you're
00:26:38.800 right now
00:26:39.300 residing in
00:26:40.040 the bizarro
00:26:41.020 universe
00:26:41.540 and joining
00:26:42.620 me now
00:26:43.040 with more
00:26:43.680 on this
00:26:44.200 somewhat
00:26:44.900 disturbing
00:26:45.580 story
00:26:46.200 is Ben
00:26:46.900 Davies
00:26:47.440 welcome to
00:26:47.960 Rebel Roundup
00:26:48.900 Ben
00:26:49.240 dude it's so
00:26:50.700 good to be
00:26:51.280 here
00:26:51.620 fantastic
00:26:52.660 thanks for
00:26:53.180 joining me
00:26:53.680 now Ben
00:26:54.360 given the
00:26:55.260 outrage
00:26:55.840 by the
00:26:56.320 usual
00:26:56.760 suspects
00:26:57.520 regarding
00:26:58.500 Hunnam's
00:26:59.060 admiration
00:26:59.660 for the
00:27:00.720 wisdom
00:27:01.120 of Jordan
00:27:01.920 Peterson
00:27:02.380 it made
00:27:03.460 me wonder
00:27:04.080 how many
00:27:04.840 people in
00:27:05.440 Hollywood
00:27:05.880 are simply
00:27:07.040 pretending
00:27:07.720 to be
00:27:08.200 liberals
00:27:08.560 and progressives
00:27:09.320 because
00:27:09.640 it might
00:27:10.920 just be
00:27:11.400 detrimental
00:27:11.900 to one's
00:27:12.860 career
00:27:13.160 to come
00:27:13.600 out
00:27:13.900 as a
00:27:14.420 conservative
00:27:14.840 what are
00:27:15.500 your thoughts
00:27:16.080 on that
00:27:16.860 given that
00:27:17.460 you happen
00:27:17.980 to reside
00:27:19.120 in this
00:27:19.540 biosphere
00:27:20.260 of the
00:27:20.560 bizarre
00:27:20.880 oh you
00:27:22.340 are 100%
00:27:23.860 right
00:27:24.320 I mean
00:27:24.580 you gotta
00:27:24.780 think
00:27:25.040 if you
00:27:25.260 take
00:27:25.500 one line
00:27:26.380 out of
00:27:27.060 the realm
00:27:27.420 of the
00:27:27.680 left
00:27:27.960 then you
00:27:28.280 can be
00:27:28.580 absolutely
00:27:29.200 bombarded
00:27:29.940 with attacks
00:27:30.500 and it's
00:27:31.560 such a
00:27:31.860 fragile career
00:27:32.660 anyway
00:27:33.080 so much
00:27:33.720 of it
00:27:33.980 is the
00:27:34.340 people
00:27:34.580 letting
00:27:34.880 you in
00:27:35.240 the gate
00:27:35.560 keepers
00:27:35.980 the casting
00:27:36.620 directors
00:27:36.840 producers
00:27:37.240 and if you
00:27:37.520 say one
00:27:37.880 thing wrong
00:27:38.360 that can
00:27:39.040 be the
00:27:39.340 difference
00:27:39.560 between you
00:27:40.100 and one
00:27:40.520 other person
00:27:41.040 and that
00:27:41.260 is so
00:27:41.660 much of
00:27:42.060 this
00:27:42.220 industry
00:27:42.580 and you
00:27:43.240 saw that
00:27:43.780 and you
00:27:44.580 see that
00:27:44.800 happen all
00:27:45.140 the time
00:27:45.400 even like
00:27:45.700 the smallest
00:27:46.080 comments
00:27:46.540 I remember
00:27:46.960 my video
00:27:47.580 I don't know
00:27:48.140 like six
00:27:48.900 months ago
00:27:49.460 on Henry Cavill
00:27:50.660 the guy who
00:27:51.040 plays Superman
00:27:51.680 where he was
00:27:52.140 talking about
00:27:52.520 the Me Too
00:27:52.920 movement
00:27:53.260 how he
00:27:54.020 carries himself
00:27:54.980 as a
00:27:55.460 gentleman
00:27:55.840 but he also
00:27:56.740 and that he
00:27:57.440 treats every
00:27:58.060 woman with
00:27:58.420 utmost respect
00:27:59.060 but he also
00:27:59.600 said it kind
00:28:00.140 of freaks him
00:28:00.880 out a little
00:28:01.200 bit when he
00:28:01.540 approaches some
00:28:02.200 woman
00:28:02.500 because he's
00:28:03.080 afraid he's
00:28:03.480 going to come
00:28:03.800 off as like
00:28:04.360 a creep
00:28:04.740 or something
00:28:05.120 and he had to
00:28:05.480 walk back
00:28:05.960 those comments
00:28:06.820 I mean
00:28:07.120 even that
00:28:08.360 is enough
00:28:08.760 but if you
00:28:09.080 say you like
00:28:09.660 Jordan Peterson
00:28:10.280 that was enough
00:28:11.260 to get Charlie
00:28:11.920 attacked
00:28:12.300 yeah but you
00:28:13.240 know the
00:28:13.720 difference here
00:28:14.760 though Ben
00:28:15.280 and it was
00:28:16.460 refreshing for
00:28:17.400 a change
00:28:17.940 is that
00:28:19.020 Charlie isn't
00:28:20.020 walking back
00:28:20.860 these comments
00:28:21.640 he's sticking
00:28:22.440 to it
00:28:22.860 and that is
00:28:23.500 so rare
00:28:24.120 these days
00:28:24.760 you have
00:28:25.380 celebrities
00:28:25.880 you have
00:28:26.260 athletes coming
00:28:27.060 out stating
00:28:28.000 something
00:28:28.520 they endure
00:28:30.140 a bit of
00:28:30.520 a backlash
00:28:31.060 and they
00:28:31.620 fold like
00:28:32.200 a cheap
00:28:32.560 tent
00:28:32.880 but not
00:28:33.580 him
00:28:33.900 no dude
00:28:35.600 he seems
00:28:36.160 like he's
00:28:36.600 the real
00:28:37.240 deal
00:28:37.620 and I loved
00:28:38.280 him in
00:28:38.720 Sons of Anarchy
00:28:39.380 he always
00:28:39.820 just had
00:28:40.100 this swagger
00:28:40.720 about him
00:28:41.240 and yeah
00:28:41.920 you saw
00:28:42.280 his comments
00:28:43.040 what were
00:28:43.380 supposedly
00:28:43.780 so controversial
00:28:45.020 and what he
00:28:45.420 said was
00:28:45.800 you should
00:28:46.080 take your
00:28:46.440 life seriously
00:28:47.140 you should
00:28:47.800 pick up
00:28:48.080 the heaviest
00:28:48.620 burden you
00:28:49.080 can and
00:28:49.500 carry it
00:28:50.020 and it's
00:28:50.620 like who
00:28:51.340 would disagree
00:28:51.820 with that
00:28:52.300 basically
00:28:52.680 you know
00:28:53.260 I should
00:28:53.720 be responsible
00:28:54.260 for myself
00:28:54.820 I should
00:28:55.340 take care
00:28:55.720 of everything
00:28:56.160 in my realm
00:28:57.020 that I can
00:28:58.040 instead of
00:28:58.700 blaming other
00:28:59.240 people or
00:28:59.880 obfuscating
00:29:00.600 it to someone
00:29:00.960 else
00:29:01.180 how is that
00:29:01.860 even remotely
00:29:02.220 controversial
00:29:02.800 and being
00:29:03.780 the guy
00:29:04.080 that he is
00:29:04.460 he apparently
00:29:04.800 has not
00:29:05.200 walked it
00:29:05.680 back one
00:29:06.340 bit
00:29:06.680 and that
00:29:06.960 kind of
00:29:07.220 strength
00:29:07.540 and that
00:29:07.720 kind of
00:29:07.960 swagger
00:29:08.320 definitely
00:29:09.080 came out
00:29:09.580 on screen
00:29:10.280 in Triple
00:29:10.640 Frontier
00:29:11.120 and you know
00:29:12.040 I think
00:29:12.540 this is what
00:29:13.100 makes this
00:29:13.660 story disturbing
00:29:14.620 to me
00:29:15.100 Ben
00:29:15.400 is the fact
00:29:16.160 that you
00:29:17.180 know the
00:29:17.520 quotes he
00:29:18.540 was re-quoting
00:29:19.500 from Jordan
00:29:20.460 Peterson
00:29:20.900 what you
00:29:21.720 had just
00:29:22.060 said
00:29:22.360 you know
00:29:22.940 self-determination
00:29:24.300 take responsibility
00:29:25.320 for your actions
00:29:26.440 and so forth
00:29:27.540 that seems
00:29:29.220 to suggest
00:29:29.700 to me
00:29:30.260 that because
00:29:31.180 it generated
00:29:32.180 a backlash
00:29:33.240 that we're
00:29:34.460 living in
00:29:35.400 some sort
00:29:35.980 of age
00:29:36.540 of entitlement
00:29:37.360 that people
00:29:38.520 think that
00:29:39.860 they shouldn't
00:29:40.620 have to do
00:29:41.260 anything
00:29:41.880 to earn
00:29:43.280 things anymore
00:29:44.480 it should just
00:29:45.240 be given
00:29:45.860 to them
00:29:46.300 is that how
00:29:47.380 you interpreted
00:29:48.060 this backlash
00:29:49.100 Ben
00:29:49.360 careful
00:29:51.380 this is on
00:29:51.900 live TV
00:29:52.400 that's hate
00:29:52.860 speech right
00:29:53.340 there man
00:29:53.720 someone doesn't
00:29:54.640 deserve something
00:29:55.380 they're not
00:29:55.660 entitled
00:29:56.180 that their
00:29:56.880 view of the
00:29:57.340 world isn't
00:29:57.860 the truth
00:29:58.280 necessarily
00:29:58.760 oh my goodness
00:29:59.540 yeah no that's
00:30:00.480 exactly what's
00:30:01.120 going on
00:30:01.540 and that was
00:30:01.860 the second
00:30:02.180 part of his
00:30:02.680 interview
00:30:02.960 where he said
00:30:03.600 I'm just
00:30:03.860 sick and tired
00:30:04.420 right now
00:30:04.880 of people
00:30:05.560 not taking
00:30:06.580 responsibility
00:30:07.140 he's like
00:30:07.500 look guys
00:30:07.940 no one is
00:30:08.440 entitled
00:30:08.840 to anything
00:30:09.620 and that was
00:30:09.900 the second
00:30:10.180 part of what
00:30:10.560 he was talking
00:30:11.000 about
00:30:11.260 and it's
00:30:11.820 that kind
00:30:12.120 of mentality
00:30:12.600 though
00:30:12.880 because
00:30:13.360 everyone else
00:30:13.980 is so soft
00:30:14.960 and so weak
00:30:15.500 right now
00:30:15.860 that will allow
00:30:16.700 you to rise
00:30:17.380 to the top
00:30:18.040 just incredible
00:30:19.100 and another
00:30:20.080 angle on this
00:30:20.900 story Ben
00:30:21.340 you quoted
00:30:22.040 and I have to
00:30:22.880 admit I'm not
00:30:23.500 familiar with
00:30:24.080 this online
00:30:24.600 publication
00:30:25.240 the Mary Sue
00:30:26.340 I believe
00:30:26.880 oh dude
00:30:28.120 you gotta start
00:30:28.700 looking it up
00:30:29.240 so fast
00:30:30.420 I will look it
00:30:31.400 up now
00:30:31.840 but I really
00:30:32.880 got a laugh
00:30:33.760 out of the
00:30:34.240 headline
00:30:34.760 where the
00:30:35.840 writer says
00:30:36.660 I really
00:30:37.560 like Triple
00:30:38.760 Frontier
00:30:39.480 and then
00:30:40.020 Charlie Hunnam
00:30:41.000 had to go
00:30:41.980 ruin it
00:30:42.800 and what
00:30:44.020 this made me
00:30:44.880 think of
00:30:45.500 is how
00:30:46.040 so many
00:30:46.840 progressives
00:30:47.480 in Hollywood
00:30:48.460 they subscribe
00:30:49.660 to the mantra
00:30:50.520 oh
00:30:51.520 dislike the
00:30:52.880 artist
00:30:53.380 but love
00:30:54.280 the art
00:30:54.780 and I'm
00:30:55.380 speaking about
00:30:56.060 real creeps
00:30:57.280 like Roman
00:30:57.920 Polanski
00:30:58.580 who in
00:30:59.380 the 1970s
00:31:00.880 of course
00:31:01.300 used a date
00:31:02.360 rape drug
00:31:03.040 to rape a
00:31:03.840 minor
00:31:04.220 and yet
00:31:05.240 you still
00:31:05.980 see a
00:31:06.540 significant
00:31:07.100 number of
00:31:09.900 celebrities
00:31:10.500 in Hollywood
00:31:11.080 longing for
00:31:12.600 his return
00:31:13.200 to Hollywood
00:31:13.560 which will
00:31:14.140 never happen
00:31:14.700 because he's
00:31:15.140 a fugitive
00:31:15.580 on the run
00:31:16.060 from US
00:31:16.500 justice
00:31:16.900 he won
00:31:17.740 an Oscar
00:31:18.100 in 2002
00:31:18.820 or something
00:31:19.260 like that
00:31:19.660 it's crazy
00:31:20.460 but I mean
00:31:21.560 isn't that a bit
00:31:22.620 of a hypocrisy
00:31:23.620 here
00:31:23.900 just for him
00:31:24.880 stating a
00:31:25.840 contrary opinion
00:31:26.900 she's not
00:31:27.860 going to
00:31:28.300 dislike Charlie
00:31:29.880 but she's
00:31:30.820 going to
00:31:31.100 dislike the
00:31:31.660 entire project
00:31:32.580 that he's in
00:31:33.360 leftist
00:31:34.860 hypocrite
00:31:35.560 stop it
00:31:36.320 Dave
00:31:36.560 stop it
00:31:37.700 of course
00:31:38.960 it's absolutely
00:31:39.780 ridiculous
00:31:40.100 I have to
00:31:40.840 you know
00:31:41.260 you separate
00:31:41.880 someone's
00:31:42.300 personal opinions
00:31:43.000 from their
00:31:43.320 character
00:31:43.640 even too
00:31:44.040 sometimes
00:31:44.420 like I have
00:31:44.800 friends
00:31:45.080 that I just
00:31:45.600 have to
00:31:45.780 ignore
00:31:46.000 that they're
00:31:46.360 saying all
00:31:46.900 this terrible
00:31:47.320 stupid stuff
00:31:47.960 and even in
00:31:48.300 daily life
00:31:48.740 in LA
00:31:49.060 I'm like
00:31:49.680 okay
00:31:49.920 they say
00:31:50.320 this
00:31:50.460 they're not
00:31:50.680 that kind
00:31:50.940 of person
00:31:51.300 and I do
00:31:51.680 that all
00:31:52.140 the time
00:31:52.580 in the arts
00:31:53.020 half the cast
00:31:54.060 of the Avengers
00:31:54.640 I can't stand
00:31:55.820 their comments
00:31:56.380 but I like
00:31:56.840 their performances
00:31:57.380 I like their
00:31:58.140 characters
00:31:58.400 this is something
00:31:58.760 we as conservatives
00:31:59.360 do on a daily
00:32:00.540 basis
00:32:01.020 but heaven forbid
00:32:02.360 their little
00:32:02.900 perception of the
00:32:03.840 world on the left
00:32:04.340 pops and someone
00:32:05.040 disagrees with them
00:32:06.480 and then all of a sudden
00:32:06.900 it ruins everything
00:32:08.060 in their little world
00:32:08.740 it's just
00:32:09.060 it's insane
00:32:09.760 to see that happen
00:32:10.460 but that is so true
00:32:11.580 that if one actor
00:32:13.080 would go out and say
00:32:13.760 that it ruins the
00:32:14.620 entire project
00:32:15.400 that they were
00:32:16.020 previously loving
00:32:17.040 apparently
00:32:17.460 and then Mary Sue
00:32:18.500 is basically satire
00:32:20.540 it's so left
00:32:21.180 and so like
00:32:22.260 it's crazy
00:32:23.460 you gotta read
00:32:23.980 more of those
00:32:24.360 they're hilarious
00:32:24.860 and tell me Ben
00:32:26.160 is Charlie
00:32:27.500 big enough of an actor
00:32:29.200 well established enough
00:32:30.380 that he can endure
00:32:31.740 this backlash
00:32:32.440 or do you see him
00:32:33.600 being penalized
00:32:34.880 by not getting roles
00:32:35.980 by being economically
00:32:37.280 penalized
00:32:38.100 how do you see
00:32:38.900 this playing out
00:32:39.680 I actually see this
00:32:41.600 possibly working for them
00:32:43.080 because it's so
00:32:43.500 polarized right now
00:32:44.560 and there are producers
00:32:45.280 that are conservative
00:32:45.980 there are directors
00:32:46.540 that are conservative
00:32:47.100 and I think the more
00:32:48.200 this gets out
00:32:48.820 to the conservative
00:32:49.760 consumer
00:32:50.700 that this is the kind
00:32:51.680 of guy he is
00:32:52.240 this is his character
00:32:52.820 this is what he believes
00:32:53.440 and he doesn't actually
00:32:53.980 back down in the real world
00:32:55.060 and on screen
00:32:55.860 I think he can be
00:32:57.280 the next guy
00:32:58.140 like he already turned down
00:32:59.260 the lead role
00:32:59.920 of Fifty Shades of Grey
00:33:01.120 which was you know
00:33:01.660 fought over by everyone
00:33:02.740 in Hollywood
00:33:03.160 he booked it
00:33:03.800 and turned it down
00:33:04.300 because he didn't have
00:33:04.840 enough time to prepare
00:33:05.500 and now he's glad he didn't
00:33:07.040 but now he's getting back
00:33:07.840 into that kind of action
00:33:08.660 that kind of guy role thing
00:33:09.820 and he's great
00:33:10.800 and he's good enough
00:33:11.620 to where he can
00:33:12.400 and if the more people
00:33:13.340 get to hear about
00:33:14.140 his personality
00:33:14.740 what he believes in
00:33:15.520 we're going to appreciate
00:33:16.320 him even more
00:33:17.160 when he gets in
00:33:17.600 this next movie
00:33:18.100 well that's fantastic
00:33:19.100 and I hope you're right
00:33:19.940 and you know
00:33:20.400 it's kind of ironic
00:33:22.120 isn't it
00:33:22.580 I know in your review
00:33:23.700 of this movie
00:33:24.820 basically you summed it up
00:33:27.880 as the theme being
00:33:29.560 better to live hard
00:33:30.960 as a good man
00:33:32.180 than to die
00:33:33.320 a compromise one
00:33:35.020 and that seems to be
00:33:36.540 what he's doing
00:33:37.280 in real life too
00:33:38.180 isn't it
00:33:38.600 by not dialing back
00:33:39.880 his comments
00:33:40.380 and for meaning
00:33:42.060 what he says
00:33:42.760 and saying what he means
00:33:44.060 absolutely
00:33:45.560 and that's why
00:33:46.240 I think he did so well
00:33:47.240 in his particular role
00:33:48.280 in the movie
00:33:48.820 and yeah
00:33:49.580 it's one thing
00:33:50.120 to take responsibility
00:33:51.100 like he said
00:33:51.780 pick up the heaviest burden
00:33:52.440 you can and carry
00:33:52.940 take responsibility
00:33:53.420 for your actions
00:33:53.880 if you'd say
00:33:54.540 or do something wrong
00:33:55.620 but if someone's
00:33:56.720 just going to mob you
00:33:57.560 like they try to do
00:33:58.140 Tucker Carlson
00:33:58.740 him not back down
00:33:59.400 that's the kind of
00:33:59.880 mentality you got to have
00:34:00.700 it takes more character
00:34:01.960 to stand up
00:34:02.740 when people want you
00:34:03.680 to apologize
00:34:04.140 than it does even
00:34:05.080 when you do something wrong
00:34:05.980 to apologize
00:34:06.620 and so what he's doing
00:34:07.900 now is great
00:34:08.660 and it does
00:34:09.140 it is perfectly in line
00:34:10.300 with the movie
00:34:10.700 that it's a pretty
00:34:11.280 that's a pretty good
00:34:11.960 watch on Netflix
00:34:12.640 it's not amazing
00:34:13.500 by any means
00:34:14.020 but it's a really good
00:34:14.980 fun movie
00:34:15.640 with some good messaging
00:34:16.840 in there to watch
00:34:17.660 well Ben
00:34:18.780 I guess there's hope
00:34:19.600 for Hollywood yet
00:34:20.520 or at least
00:34:21.180 there's some
00:34:21.660 shining stars out there
00:34:23.100 in a beacon
00:34:23.880 of progressive blackness
00:34:25.720 so great commentary
00:34:27.580 and thanks again
00:34:29.020 for weighing in my friend
00:34:30.020 thanks so much
00:34:31.160 for bringing me on
00:34:31.640 you got it
00:34:32.460 and that was
00:34:33.260 Ben Davies
00:34:33.880 in Hollywood
00:34:34.600 stay tuned folks
00:34:35.600 more of Rebel Roundup
00:34:36.500 to come
00:34:36.880 right after this
00:34:38.000 one can only imagine
00:34:46.420 how stunned
00:34:47.320 Michael Mitchell was
00:34:48.640 to receive a notice
00:34:49.720 from his condo board
00:34:50.900 demanding that he remove
00:34:52.900 a supposedly
00:34:53.900 unsightly object
00:34:55.340 from the front
00:34:56.620 of his Ottawa home
00:34:57.620 and that offensive object
00:34:59.740 was none other
00:35:00.840 than a Canadian flag
00:35:03.260 yes the maple leaf
00:35:05.140 was flapping
00:35:05.900 just above
00:35:06.660 Mr. Mitchell's garage
00:35:07.900 hmm
00:35:09.040 does one salute
00:35:10.500 or call
00:35:11.180 1-800-GOT-JUNK
00:35:13.180 well apparently
00:35:14.580 it is the latter
00:35:15.720 according to
00:35:16.560 Ottawa-based
00:35:17.420 Axia Property Management
00:35:19.060 because well
00:35:20.540 the rules
00:35:21.480 are the rules
00:35:22.140 and flying a flag
00:35:23.980 at this condo
00:35:24.960 has run afoul
00:35:26.280 of their precious
00:35:27.400 condo rules
00:35:28.480 how awful
00:35:29.860 is that
00:35:30.500 actually
00:35:31.580 it gets much worse
00:35:32.800 Michael Mitchell
00:35:34.120 is a major
00:35:35.020 in the Royal Canadian
00:35:35.940 Air Force
00:35:36.600 he's served
00:35:37.600 all over Canada
00:35:38.460 and had an
00:35:39.400 eight month
00:35:40.200 tour of duty
00:35:41.060 in Afghanistan
00:35:41.820 his father
00:35:43.280 and grandfather
00:35:44.320 were also
00:35:45.220 military men
00:35:46.100 the irony is
00:35:47.600 both perverse
00:35:48.440 and profound
00:35:49.100 Major Mitchell
00:35:49.920 can put his life
00:35:51.240 on the line
00:35:51.760 defending our country
00:35:52.880 while toiling
00:35:54.140 under this flag
00:35:55.060 but Axia
00:35:55.800 property management
00:35:56.820 would prefer
00:35:57.540 if he wouldn't
00:35:58.900 fly his flag
00:35:59.960 on their property
00:36:01.540 again
00:36:02.580 how weird
00:36:04.340 is that
00:36:05.020 well there's
00:36:06.180 reason number
00:36:06.820 442
00:36:08.000 why yours truly
00:36:09.280 is no fan
00:36:10.460 of condominium life
00:36:11.820 if one cannot
00:36:13.220 fly a Canadian flag
00:36:15.100 yes
00:36:15.620 the flag
00:36:16.540 of our nation
00:36:17.520 at a condo complex
00:36:19.360 I want no part
00:36:20.900 of living in such
00:36:21.720 a place
00:36:22.200 and to tell
00:36:23.300 a military man
00:36:24.300 not to fly
00:36:25.120 the maple leaf
00:36:25.860 that's a whole
00:36:27.260 other level
00:36:27.980 of appalling
00:36:28.900 but that's how
00:36:30.260 they roll
00:36:30.840 at Axia
00:36:31.700 property management
00:36:32.680 apparently
00:36:33.220 in any event
00:36:34.720 here's what
00:36:35.480 some of you
00:36:36.140 had to say

00:36:39.120 I would hang
00:36:40.000 it upside down
00:36:40.800 and I would
00:36:41.440 make sure
00:36:41.980 it stayed that way
00:36:43.100 as long as
00:36:43.860 Justin Jihadi
00:36:45.000 is the crime
00:36:46.540 minister of Canada
00:36:47.840 well Ovi
00:36:48.600 flying a flag
00:36:49.620 upside down
00:36:50.400 is a way
00:36:51.240 to signal distress
00:36:52.500 and with the
00:36:53.840 Justin Trudeau
00:36:54.560 liberals at the helm
00:36:55.500 these are
00:36:56.300 distressful times
00:36:57.500 indeed

00:37:04.360 different response
00:37:05.320 to these sort
00:37:06.160 of things
00:37:06.660 down in Texas
00:37:07.740 well you know
00:37:08.560 thank goodness
00:37:09.080 for that Roy
00:37:09.800 little wonder
00:37:10.980 the catchphrase
00:37:12.100 on some of your
00:37:12.920 license plates
00:37:13.700 is
00:37:14.200 don't mess
00:37:15.280 with Texas
00:37:16.020 I think we
00:37:17.280 could use
00:37:17.980 some of that
00:37:18.640 fighting spirit

00:37:27.960 a swastika
00:37:28.760 I doubt it
00:37:29.820 well Mohammed
00:37:30.480 if someone
00:37:31.040 wants to fly
00:37:31.800 the swastika
00:37:32.560 and thereby
00:37:33.820 let everyone
00:37:34.780 know
00:37:35.200 that he
00:37:36.200 is a
00:37:36.740 scumbag
00:37:37.700 that supports
00:37:38.600 a regime
00:37:39.440 that killed
00:37:40.140 millions
00:37:40.640 of innocent
00:37:41.320 people
00:37:41.900 then by all
00:37:43.020 means do
00:37:43.440 so
00:37:43.780 but be
00:37:44.860 prepared
00:37:45.280 to live
00:37:45.900 with the

00:38:15.480 I'm sure
00:38:16.320 there are
00:38:16.660 people
00:38:17.060 of all
00:38:17.840 political

00:39:02.740 in the

00:39:07.940 number
00:39:08.800 three
00:39:09.160 I'm
00:39:09.540 wondering
00:39:09.840 what type

00:39:13.420 like that
00:39:14.080 number
00:39:14.960 four
00:39:15.400 I'm wondering
00:39:16.220 what type
00:39:16.760 of condo
00:39:17.380 board owners
00:39:18.000 and condo
00:39:18.640 property
00:39:19.140 owners
00:39:19.560 would prohibit
00:39:20.980 something like
00:39:21.740 that
00:39:22.040 and number
00:39:22.860 five
00:39:23.220 I'm wondering
00:39:24.000 what type
00:39:24.720 of country
00:39:25.220 we live
00:39:25.680 in
00:39:25.920 when someone
00:39:26.840 can even
00:39:27.480 make rules
00:39:28.180 like this
00:39:28.600 to begin
00:39:29.020 with
00:39:29.320 what happened
00:39:30.360 to property
00:39:30.980 rights

00:39:35.320 better myself
00:39:35.880 but on
00:39:36.640 your last
00:39:37.100 point regarding
00:39:37.920 private property
00:39:38.840 rights
00:39:39.240 well
00:39:39.560 sadly
00:39:40.460 private property
00:39:41.540 rights
00:39:41.960 are not

00:39:45.960 so yes
00:39:47.920 we can
00:39:48.980 amend the

00:39:50.000 to give

00:39:57.280 too outrageous
00:39:58.100 sadly
00:39:59.260 we seem
00:40:00.000 to be
00:40:00.340 increasingly
