00:01:32.400 Today, Jody Wilson-Raybould testified before Parliament about Justin Trudeau,
00:01:38.180 Gerald Butts, and the rest of the Prime Minister's office,
00:01:41.080 and others in the Liberal inner circle, other Cabinet ministers,
00:01:44.500 and even the head of the supposedly non-partisan civil service,
00:01:47.800 the Clerk of the Privy Council, Michael Wernick.
00:01:49.800 How all of these people and others conspired to pressure her to drop criminal charges
00:01:55.740 against a corrupt company called SNC-Lavalin.
00:01:59.920 That's a Quebec-based engineering firm that was caught paying $48 million in illegal bribes in Libya.
00:02:07.600 They were prosecuted for those crimes of corruption in Canada.
00:02:11.500 But because they're a Quebec company, and Trudeau is a Quebec prime minister,
00:02:15.060 well, Libranos' instinct came out.
00:02:17.720 And so the Montreal liberals, including Trudeau and Butts,
00:02:20.860 well, they went to work on Jody Wilson-Raybould,
00:02:23.600 the first Aboriginal woman justice minister in Canadian history.

00:02:28.700 They pestered her.
00:02:29.340 They pressed her a dozen times.
00:02:31.180 And she refused to bend.
00:02:33.480 So they broke her.

00:02:36.680 Now, until now, it was just reports in the newspapers.
00:02:39.700 The Globe and Mail reported some of this a few weeks ago,

00:02:43.400 Wilson-Raybould herself hired a former Supreme Court judge as her lawyer
00:02:46.900 to make sure she complied with her obligations as a former cabinet minister
00:02:51.040 and justice minister in terms of confidentiality and solicitor-client privilege,
00:02:55.760 as in she couldn't say things publicly, so she didn't.
00:02:59.600 But today, she negotiated her appearance at a parliamentary committee,
00:03:04.500 and Trudeau actually, under pressure,
00:03:06.960 agreed to waive at least some of his solicitor-client privilege over her
00:03:11.540 to allow her to talk at least somewhat about it.
00:03:14.060 And, oh my God, she did.
00:03:15.420 When Jody Wilson-Raybould recently testified against the likes of Justin Trudeau,
00:03:19.840 Gerald Butts, and even the Privy Council Clerk,
00:03:22.180 it was nothing short of astonishing.
00:03:25.880 In essence, the ex-attorney general noted how she endured political pressure
00:03:29.760 and outright intimidation by senior liberals,
00:03:32.880 all in a futile effort to have her turn a blind eye to the rule of law.

00:03:40.940 Lavalin would bolster the company's fortunes in Quebec,
00:03:45.480 and by extension, this would also bolster the fortunes of the Trudeau liberals in Quebec,

00:03:55.160 Justin Trudeau discovered that Jody Wilson-Raybould is no stooge,
00:03:59.440 but rather somebody who embodies integrity.
