00:00:00.000 Hello, my rebels. Oh, big show today. I'm going to show you some scenes from American
00:00:05.220 retail stores, but really it's the same thing in Canada. Busy bodies saying, put on your mask.
00:00:12.940 Busy bodies saying, shut down your business. And people's reactions to it. I think the
00:00:18.300 temperature is rising. I am worried that things are going to boil over. I'll show you a few videos
00:00:23.400 and then even bigger news. Our friend Raheel Raza has a new book out and we're the publishers.
00:00:30.800 I'll tell you all about that. But first, let me invite you to become a subscriber to Rebel News
00:00:34.880 Plus. That's the video version of this podcast. I think it's on a show like today where we're
00:00:40.240 showing you a few videos from some American shopping retail outlets. You got to see the
00:00:45.540 video. You got to see it. You got to see it. And you can do that by being a subscriber to Rebel News
00:00:50.680 Plus. It's just eight bucks a month. Go to rebelnews.com and click the button that says
00:00:55.640 subscribe. And, you know, you could actually get a whole year for 80 bucks, which is a discount.
00:01:02.680 It's less than Netflix, less than any of the streaming services. And you know what?
00:01:06.440 It supports our work. And it's important that we get that because we don't take any money from
00:01:11.760 Justin Trudeau or other governments. So that's how we can be independent. All right. That's our show for
00:01:16.400 we're sorry. That's not the show for today. That's just the beginning of the show. Here's the show.
00:01:20.680 Tonight, I think people are running out of patience, not with the virus, but with the lockdown.
00:01:41.100 I'll show you some videos that I think are early warnings. It's December 15th, and this is the Ezra
00:01:45.920 LeVant Show.
00:01:48.920 Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon consumer I know?
00:01:52.560 There's 8,500 customers here, and you won't give them an answer.
00:01:56.620 The only thing I have to say to the government, the wire publisher, is because it's my bloody right to do so.
00:02:02.480 I came across this video online today. I think it's from the United States, but it obviously
00:02:12.780 could be anywhere here in Canada, too. Take a look.
00:02:16.700 Get away from me. Put your mask on.
00:02:18.500 I'm sorry. You can walk away from me right now, sir.
00:02:20.980 Put your mask on.
00:02:22.260 Get away from me, please.
00:02:22.840 Put it on. Does it bother anybody else that she doesn't have to wear a mask that we all do?
00:02:26.560 Just go away. Stay six feet away from me, then.
00:02:28.860 No.
00:02:29.280 Get away from me.
00:02:30.060 No.
00:02:31.880 Please get away from me right now.
00:02:34.060 No.
00:02:34.960 You don't need to come near me.
00:02:36.320 She has it on her damn hand.
00:02:37.940 Get away from me.
00:02:41.820 Walk away from me, sir. Please get away from me.
00:02:49.460 You don't care.
00:02:50.620 Leave me alone.
00:02:52.700 Stay six feet away from me, then.
00:02:55.020 You cannot infect my baby.
00:02:57.040 Get out of here.
00:03:00.760 I know who you voted for.
00:03:05.360 So the first thing you'll notice, I'll play it again in a second, is he wasn't even wearing
00:03:09.380 his own mask properly. He adjusted very quickly, but in the first few seconds there, it's just
00:03:14.320 over his mouth, not his nose, because he doesn't like wearing a mask either. It wasn't on properly.
00:03:18.880 He sure was swearing and making a scene, even though he was wanting the other person, the
00:03:24.460 lady who was filming it, to be the one getting the security attention.
00:03:28.980 I thought it was very interesting.
00:03:30.560 He sort of gave it away when he said, does it bother anybody else in here that we have
00:03:34.860 to wear a mask and she doesn't?
00:03:36.420 I think that shows you that he wasn't really a masker so much as if I have to wear it, everyone
00:03:43.980 else does, which is another way of saying if I'm submissive, obedient, and if I surrender,
00:03:49.440 I don't want anyone else to be, you know, to show more courage than me.
00:03:53.500 He says, she has it in her own hands.
00:03:55.320 She swore again.
00:03:56.460 I thought the perfect line was the last one.
00:03:59.240 I know who you voted for.
00:04:00.980 I think that's pretty obvious, too.
00:04:03.620 Here, let's just watch it one more time and keep an eye peeled for all the little tells
00:04:06.920 that I just said.
00:04:08.020 Take a look.
00:04:09.140 Get away from me.
00:04:09.520 Put your mask on.
00:04:10.940 I'm sorry.
00:04:11.440 You can walk away from me right now, sir.
00:04:13.440 Put your mask on.
00:04:14.720 Get away from me, please.
00:04:15.300 Put it on.
00:04:15.840 Does it bother anybody else that she doesn't have to wear a mask that we all do?
00:04:19.240 Just go away.
00:04:20.000 Stay six feet away from me, then.
00:04:21.280 No.
00:04:21.700 Get away from me.
00:04:22.380 No.
00:04:22.780 Do you need a call security?
00:04:24.220 Yeah.
00:04:24.540 Please get away from me right now.
00:04:26.500 No.
00:04:27.020 You don't know why.
00:04:27.660 You don't need to come near me.
00:04:28.740 She has it on her damn hand.
00:04:30.380 Get away from me.
00:04:34.260 Walk away from me, sir.
00:04:35.560 Please get away from me.
00:04:41.880 You don't care.
00:04:43.060 Leave me alone.
00:04:45.140 She can't infect her baby.
00:04:45.920 Stay six feet away from me, then.
00:04:47.600 She cannot infect my baby.
00:04:49.520 Get out of here.
00:04:53.180 I know who you voted for.
00:04:54.540 Yeah, what a snitch.
00:04:59.920 What a scold.
00:05:01.360 Into public shaming.
00:05:02.760 We've seen that from politicians, too.
00:05:04.960 We see John Tory, the mayor of Toronto.
00:05:08.580 We see the premier of Manitoba naming and shaming into public shaming.
00:05:13.060 That's not about the virus, is it?
00:05:14.880 Obviously, the man was not really scared.
00:05:17.640 He kept walking towards her.
00:05:19.660 If you think someone's typhoid Mary, you don't keep going closer and closer to her, especially when she says back off, you run away from her.
00:05:27.740 He's mad that she isn't obeying, and I sense he doesn't want to obey either.
00:05:32.900 And I think one more thing, and it's one of the problems with masks, is a mask gives you at least semi-anonymity, which gives you license.
00:05:42.380 It's one of the reasons why people online are so mean.
00:05:46.120 They are either fully anonymous, they have a made-up name, or they're sort of anonymous because they're not right face-to-face with a person.
00:05:52.620 It's easier to insult someone.
00:05:54.360 It's easier to engage in bad behavior if no one knows who you are.
00:05:58.720 So wearing a mask, or at least a partial mask, I think gave him the, confidence is the wrong word, but the license to be abusive to a woman that he would never do that to in any other circumstance.
00:06:11.660 Just terrible.
00:06:12.740 I think people are getting fed up about that, and frankly, that man is getting fed up about his situation.
00:06:18.380 He was just expressing it in a very poor way.
00:06:21.760 Now, I want to show you a pair of videos, also from the United States.
00:06:25.620 These ones, I actually know where they're from.
00:06:27.480 Now, this is a restaurateur, one of the hardest jobs in the world.
00:06:31.720 I was a waiter and a dishwasher and a busboy when I was in college, and of course, that's sort of hard work.
00:06:36.980 You're running around on your feet all day, working hard for tips, but that work is nothing.
00:06:41.800 Being a bartender, waiter, busboy is nothing compared to the actual owner of a restaurant.
00:06:47.520 Is there a harder job?
00:06:48.740 You can never leave the restaurant because someone will have their hand in the till.
00:06:52.500 They might eat or drink your profits.
00:06:55.540 There's always something you have to be there.
00:06:57.480 A pipe leaks.
00:06:58.720 A delivery is spoiled.
00:07:00.320 It is one of the hardest jobs, and restaurants have such high turnover.
00:07:04.000 They go out of business so easily.
00:07:05.960 They're so subject to fashions.
00:07:08.980 It's hard enough when times are good.
00:07:12.300 These are the opposite of good times.
00:07:13.720 So this is Anton van Hatten, happen of Nick the Greek in Ventura.
00:07:20.420 And watch this.
00:07:22.880 This got me angry.
00:07:25.580 Take a look.
00:07:26.060 I understand your tables are inside.
00:07:28.800 I follow the rules.
00:07:30.620 I continue to follow the rules.
00:07:32.280 And you guys still, time after time, are giving me citations, telling me I have to close my business.
00:07:38.700 You're not following the rules.
00:07:39.700 What about my employees?
00:07:40.760 You're not following the rules.
00:07:42.660 I am following the rules with my tables on the inside.
00:07:45.180 Just because the health department has a whole process to go through that takes however long that takes, I have to close my business for that time.
00:07:53.740 Are you going to pay my rent?
00:07:55.560 Are you going to pay my rent?
00:07:56.920 You chose to make those decisions, right?
00:07:59.000 I chose to protest by putting my tables outside and I reiterate again.
00:08:02.780 I never served one single person outside.
00:08:05.380 I did all take out food and delivery to what exactly I was supposed to be doing.
00:08:10.480 That's exactly what I did.
00:08:12.100 I did not break any, and there's no law, I did not break any rule.
00:08:17.060 There is a law that you're breaking right now by operating without a comment.
00:08:21.400 Because you guys put this closure on my restaurant.
00:08:24.840 So you guys yourselves are creating your own rule, and you're giving guys citations for your own rule that's created.
00:08:32.700 It's not by law that you cannot sit outside and eat.
00:08:35.360 That's not law, that's the order that was given.
00:08:38.160 So you cannot give me a closure citation based on that.
00:08:41.500 It's already been ordered.
00:08:42.300 I'm not issuing a closure.
00:08:44.040 You guys closed me.
00:08:46.960 You're not asking to close me.
00:08:48.340 I'm not issuing the closure.
00:08:50.700 The restaurant is already closed.
00:08:52.460 The permit has been suspended.
00:08:53.780 However, your refusal to close warrants a...
00:08:57.240 Because what am I going to do with my clothes?
00:08:59.400 Are you going to pay my rent?
00:09:00.820 No, no.
00:09:01.840 All we need to do...
00:09:02.160 Okay, so if you're not going to pay my rent, I'm not closing.
00:09:05.020 We need to reopen.
00:09:05.940 Because you're not going to pay my...
00:09:06.920 I told you already.
00:09:08.260 We could have reopened today.
00:09:09.580 We could be open right now.
00:09:11.280 However...
00:09:11.640 No obligation.
00:09:12.120 You need a citation instead of telling me I can open.
00:09:14.060 Yeah, well, we've missed those steps.
00:09:16.500 The steps that you need to take to make sure that you can open your business.
00:09:20.180 You couldn't have done...
00:09:20.520 But he's already re-opened today.
00:09:21.900 You could have reopened already.
00:09:23.740 How?
00:09:24.580 The steps are listed in the report that was...
00:09:26.960 Which I did.
00:09:27.800 I called the guy.
00:09:28.900 The guy I spoke to on the phone was a supervisor.
00:09:31.440 Because he made a mistake.
00:09:33.280 That was on me.
00:09:34.220 He made a mistake.
00:09:35.640 I recorded on my phone what he said.
00:09:38.440 Yes, he did.
00:09:39.140 Boy.
00:09:40.280 Boy, I don't think people are going to last long.
00:09:43.500 He said he followed the rules.
00:09:45.000 And I think I believe him.
00:09:46.560 I mean, he's wearing a mask.
00:09:47.800 He says, look, the tables are stacked inside.
00:09:50.080 It sounds like that might have been the problem.
00:09:52.080 He was doing takeout and delivery.
00:09:53.600 But he had some tables outside.
00:09:55.360 And it sounds like some people were just sitting on there outside.
00:09:59.440 And so they were punishing him that some people happened to be sitting outside.
00:10:03.520 He asked, what about my employees?
00:10:05.920 Are you going to pay my rent?
00:10:07.480 They couldn't care less.
00:10:10.220 I thought it was an interesting point he made.
00:10:12.240 These aren't actually laws they're enforcing.
00:10:14.680 These weren't debated in a legislature.
00:10:16.900 That's what a legislature means.
00:10:18.560 A factory of laws.
00:10:20.300 No, these are just rules.
00:10:21.820 Either issued by some regulation or probably by the bureaucrats in that room.
00:10:27.120 Operating without a permit.
00:10:28.740 So they just set it up.
00:10:30.260 They made the trap.
00:10:31.220 They said, well, here's rule number two.
00:10:33.000 Oh, you didn't follow rule number two.
00:10:34.460 So punishment number three.
00:10:35.620 It was like a sting operation.
00:10:38.460 I'm not issuing the closure.
00:10:40.660 The restaurant is already closed.
00:10:42.540 Very Kafkaesque.
00:10:43.480 The restaurant was clearly open.
00:10:45.120 They were saying it was legally closed.
00:10:47.580 You need to reopen, they said to him.
00:10:51.120 You could have reopened today.
00:10:53.380 You could be open right now.
00:10:55.200 But we see that it's open.
00:10:56.620 So they're not implying he's doing anything wrong or unhealthy.
00:10:59.820 They're just saying he's not doing it according to the rules.
00:11:04.000 You could be open right now.
00:11:05.260 They say to him, as he is open right now, you could have reopened, they say, after he did.
00:11:10.100 No, no, no.
00:11:10.780 There's nothing health or virus-y about this.
00:11:13.320 This is hop through our hoops.
00:11:15.340 Dance for us.
00:11:16.160 Dance faster.
00:11:17.620 Here are the steps you need to take.
00:11:19.180 Here are the steps listed in the report.
00:11:20.780 It's got nothing to do with the reality of what he's doing.
00:11:24.940 These little government automatons, the thrill they take, the erotic pleasure they take
00:11:31.960 in destroying in a matter of minutes what real doers have built up over a lifetime.
00:11:40.660 Why did the restaurateur have passion and those two automatons sound like robots?
00:11:45.200 Because he cared.
00:11:46.780 He was a builder, and these two government drones came in.
00:11:51.520 Well, rule 4623, I know whose side I'm on here.
00:11:55.780 The rules make no sense.
00:11:58.020 The rules change constantly.
00:11:59.940 The rules have no scientific basis.
00:12:02.020 The rules are subject to mistakes.
00:12:03.520 The rules are internally inconsistent.
00:12:05.160 They don't care.
00:12:06.200 Here, watch the same thing from a different point of view at a slightly different time.
00:12:11.320 Really, I just mainly want to show you the ponytail in the man bag.
00:12:15.880 Take a look.
00:12:17.400 I'm aware of Friday night you guys came.
00:12:20.000 I hope my tables are tied up.
00:12:21.360 I'm tied up everything that you guys have told me to.
00:12:24.520 And yet you guys have been issuing your order, and you're trying to shut me down.
00:12:29.280 Why not complying with you?
00:12:31.100 So the restaurant is set down.
00:12:34.620 The restaurant is set down.
00:12:35.840 I'm not set down this restaurant now.
00:12:37.460 Okay, that's why we're here.
00:12:38.620 Okay.
00:12:39.840 Are you sure you want to continue with your camera now?
00:12:42.520 100%.
00:12:43.000 Thank you.
00:12:45.400 Okay, so we have a closure, temporary suspension of the permit here.
00:12:49.620 Okay.
00:12:50.340 We're not supposed to be open.
00:12:51.440 We're suspended on Friday.
00:12:53.120 The order was issued by public health that says that we need to close until we can get re-oven.
00:13:00.160 Okay, so the reason you guys are posing to me is because on Friday evening, as a protest, which I'm allowed to do, I put tables outside.
00:13:09.260 I sold all my food to go.
00:13:11.640 I didn't do any outdoor dining.
00:13:14.480 I sold all my food to go, and it was everybody's own prerogative, to sit outside on my tables, again, as a protest, which I'm allowed to do.
00:13:21.460 Now, you guys came Friday evening, and there were two guys over here on Friday evening, basically said, listen, if you put your tables and chairs inside right now, you're in compliance.
00:13:30.560 I said, okay, can I make compliance?
00:13:32.540 Why would you shut me down then?
00:13:34.260 And they said, because it's already gone through your guys' system, and now I have to wait for you guys to come back before I can open again.
00:13:41.860 But if I'm already complying with you, and I have the tables and chairs inside, you want me, and are forcing me to shut down my business, and I have to send all my employees home?
00:13:52.760 I have rent to pay.
00:13:54.220 I have bills to pay.
00:13:55.740 And you're like, this is a power trip.
00:13:57.520 This is not even about COVID anymore.
00:13:59.160 I complied with you guys.
00:14:03.360 It's not about that at all.
00:14:04.900 This is what it's about.
00:14:05.960 Because you guys are posing me.
00:14:07.100 Yeah, and you know what?
00:14:07.800 I would like to talk to you, and we want to make sure that you're seeking to talk to you now.
00:14:13.820 I'm going to hear what it looks like for the situation that you have.
00:14:17.740 I have it all reported.
00:14:19.040 I have everything reported.
00:14:20.020 And do you stop your phone and say to you?
00:14:21.220 No, because I'm reporting everything so that when I do not have to show up to court with you guys, when we start this pass-action lawsuit with all these rest laws against the health department, we have all the proof right here on film about what everybody said.
00:14:32.660 I would like to see that reported.
00:14:34.700 And I have a recording.
00:14:35.780 I have a recording this.
00:14:36.620 Oh my God, that gets me.
00:14:38.340 The restaurant is shut down, but I'm not shutting it down.
00:14:42.700 Close until we can get it reopened.
00:14:45.920 Is this 1984?
00:14:48.140 Are you joking?
00:14:49.520 This is Kafka.
00:14:51.840 I think, though, the cherry on top.
00:14:56.240 There's so many things about this that are frustrating.
00:14:58.820 There were two health inspectors.
00:15:00.840 The ponytail man bag guy and the lady who was filming the whole time.
00:15:06.620 And I don't know if you caught it.
00:15:08.000 She said to the restaurateur, can you stop recording?
00:15:12.400 She says as she records him.
00:15:15.540 Here's my question for you.
00:15:16.800 How long will this go on?
00:15:18.140 How long will bloodless bureaucrats destroy hardworking, passionate entrepreneurs like that restaurateur there?
00:15:28.120 How long?
00:15:28.720 How long before something breaks?
00:15:31.840 They're breaking people by the hundreds of thousands, maybe by the million.
00:15:35.920 That's from California where Gavin Newsom went to a luxury birthday party dinner at a $400 a plate restaurant with his friends because he's important.
00:15:47.380 Do you think they wore masks?
00:15:49.020 Do you think they took takeout?
00:15:51.240 People see the hypocrisy.
00:15:53.220 I think something's going to break.
00:15:55.240 And I don't think it'll be pretty.
00:15:57.680 Stay with us.
00:15:59.020 Ahead, our friend Raheel Raza has big news.
00:16:02.420 That's next.
00:16:03.020 We'll be right back.
00:16:33.000 For many years, I've written and spoken out about Islamism, the political ideology that Western politicians refuse to acknowledge due to political correctness.
00:16:48.800 Now read for yourself in my new book, The ABCs of Islamism, about how a radical ideology has taken over my faith and installed itself in the corridors of power in the Western world.
00:17:03.360 Wow.
00:17:04.200 That is extremely exciting.
00:17:07.000 A new book by Raheel Raza, who also just happens to be the chairman of the advisory board for Rebel News.
00:17:13.260 She joins us now in studio.
00:17:14.840 Raheel, congratulations on the new book.
00:17:16.660 The ABCs of Islamism.
00:17:19.160 Tell us a little bit about it.
00:17:20.600 Thank you, Ezra.
00:17:21.660 So, The ABCs of Islamism is a book which actually describes my life journey, so to speak.
00:17:30.360 So, I was born in Pakistan.
00:17:31.920 And in the 1970s, in Pakistan, there was a military dictator by the name of Zial Haq, who actually hung the democratically elected leader of that time.
00:17:41.300 And began to implement Islamism in Pakistan and began to implement Islamism in Pakistan and with the hardest restrictions, the harshest restrictions against women.
00:17:51.060 So, obviously, that is a personal thorn in my side because Islamism is very anti-women.
00:17:56.460 You were asking me about Islam and Islamism.
00:18:00.320 So, Islam is a faith like Judaism, Christianity.
00:18:03.440 It is a faith with, you know, everything that needs to be sorted out in any faith.
00:18:09.160 Islamism is a political ideology, pure and evil political ideology that then, you know, implements itself in various ways.
00:18:19.920 And my book is a way for ordinary people to understand what are the signs of Islamism.
00:18:25.160 Some can be very subtle.
00:18:26.920 So, following what happened in Pakistan, you had Ayatollah Khomeini, who was in exile in France, studying the playbook of the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:18:35.200 And the mandate of the Muslim Brotherhood is very clear, according to them, according to their own manifesto, that the West is evil.
00:18:45.400 It needs to be infiltrated and weakened from inside.
00:18:48.480 And that is what Islamism does.
00:18:51.260 That is what Islamists do.
00:18:54.000 Sometimes people can't differentiate between what is a faith and what is an ideology.
00:18:59.360 Islamism is like communism, like fascism.
00:19:02.720 It's something that when communism and fascism were there, Marxism, the whole world spoke out against them.
00:19:08.880 But when it comes to Islamism, political correctness does not allow ordinary people to either speak out or they're afraid of being called Islamophobes.
00:19:18.300 Or, you know, you have your Western leaders who are actually helping promote the Islamist ideology.
00:19:26.760 So, my book, the ABCs of Islamism, identifies those parts that are purely Islamist and political in their agenda and warns people, Canadians, North Americans, to look out for those signs and speak out against them.
00:19:45.520 Because you're not speaking against a faith.
00:19:48.240 You're speaking against an ideology.
00:19:51.040 That's a very interesting way of framing it.
00:19:54.080 Let me ask you, are you afraid of speaking out against Islamism?
00:19:58.860 I mean, you're taking it on in a way that very few people do.
00:20:04.380 Are you worried for your own safety?
00:20:06.440 Are you, you're probably being politically attacked.
00:20:09.860 Do you feel safe?
00:20:10.900 I stopped being afraid when I got my first death threat.
00:20:14.000 Oh, my God.
00:20:14.520 And then, of course, I have a fatwa and a lawsuit and all sorts of things.
00:20:18.000 So, my fear is a very small drop in the ocean of the work that has to be done.
00:20:23.800 In my lifetime, I've seen the growth of Islamism, especially since I came to Canada more than 30 years ago.
00:20:30.060 You know, it was something that started in these Muslim countries.
00:20:34.720 And then, right here in the West, where we want freedom, where we want gender equality, where we want democracy, we see the signs of Islamism.
00:20:44.660 And what are the signs?
00:20:45.680 I mean, sometimes they're very subtle.
00:20:47.020 They're very small.
00:20:48.100 There are things like unreasonable accommodation demands.
00:20:50.840 There are things like, you know, prayers in public schools.
00:20:54.820 There are things like wanting to promote Sharia banking and Sharia laws in a Western country, as opposed to the laws of the land in which we live.
00:21:04.140 So, they are little things.
00:21:05.840 But they all add up to one big virus, which is Islamism.
00:21:11.780 Is it hard for Muslim men and women in the West, in the United Kingdom, in Canada, the United States, Australia, is it hard for them to resist the peer pressure to become Islamist?
00:21:24.160 Like, if you're a Muslim living in the West, you know, you want to be a citizen, you want to integrate into the country, but there's that force saying, no, stay politically radical.
00:21:33.280 Is that really the hard place to be?
00:21:35.800 It is.
00:21:36.220 It is a very hard place to be for many people because of the lack of information, because they're misinformed.
00:21:41.900 It is just the way in which non-Muslims support Islamist activities without realizing that they're supporting an ideology.
00:21:50.080 They're supporting an agenda.
00:21:51.840 So, my book has been written so that people can be educated.
00:21:56.460 They can be informed.
00:21:57.620 They can make informed decisions.
00:21:59.080 That they understand that when they're speaking out against these Islamist activities and against the Islamists, that they are doing something that any good citizen should do.
00:22:09.640 Any good citizen should speak out against the infiltration into the corridors of power.
00:22:16.140 Our leaders are not going to do it.
00:22:17.760 You and I know that very well because they want votes.
00:22:20.740 They're too politically correct.
00:22:22.520 So, this is a book for the masses.
00:22:24.580 It is a book for ordinary people to pick it up and say, you know, I saw this happening.
00:22:29.620 I didn't like it, but I didn't want to speak out because I was afraid of being called a bigot.
00:22:33.720 But now I can because this is something that should not be happening in a democratic country.
00:22:39.440 So, our liberties, our freedoms, our equalities, everything is at stake because of Islamism.
00:22:46.520 And the sad part of this is, Azra, that moderate Muslims like myself, as you call me, a progressive Muslims, are the biggest victims of Islamism.
00:22:56.220 Right, yeah.
00:22:57.020 You see?
00:22:57.400 So, we are attacked because we speak out.
00:22:59.920 And, you know, the purpose is to brainwash the minds of our youth.
00:23:06.100 So, a lot of what I have written speaks to the youth as well.
00:23:09.920 You know, there's radicalization of youth.
00:23:12.420 How do terrorists, you know, become who they are?
00:23:15.960 They're not born that way.
00:23:17.860 Somebody obviously brainwashes them.
00:23:19.820 Right.
00:23:20.000 And that's the Islamists.
00:23:21.260 There are Islamist organizations.
00:23:23.440 There are Islamists all around us.
00:23:26.120 And some of them we know by name, but nobody wants to say anything.
00:23:29.860 Wow.
00:23:30.180 Well, you're saying it.
00:23:31.000 We're talking about Raheel Raza's new book, The ABCs of Islamism.
00:23:35.860 You can buy a copy of it on Amazon or at theabcsofislamism.com.
00:23:43.040 Now, you've structured it in an alphabetical way.
00:23:46.280 Sort of A is for this, B is for that.
00:23:48.740 So, that makes it a little easier for people to attack.
00:23:52.960 Because it's not, I mean, it's, I wouldn't call it a scholarly work.
00:23:56.980 It's well-informed, but you don't have to be an academic to read it.
00:24:00.900 It's really written for regular people who have an interest, right?
00:24:03.960 It's very simple reading, to be very honest.
00:24:06.180 It's very simple reading.
00:24:07.160 But you learn a lot.
00:24:08.180 It's just not, I mean, you explain the jargon.
00:24:10.400 I do.
00:24:11.200 I do.
00:24:11.680 And I didn't want it to be a very scholarly work, as you say, because, you know, people
00:24:16.420 need to understand just in ordinary English what the problem is.
00:24:20.720 I think scholars will read it, but we need ordinary people to learn about both Muslim and
00:24:26.600 non-Muslims.
00:24:27.500 They do.
00:24:28.300 Absolutely.
00:24:29.140 Now, you know, one of the reviews I got was from former Ambassador Naeem Hassan.
00:24:35.040 And he said something very profound in his review, which is on Amazon, by the way.
00:24:39.540 He said that this is a must-read for policymakers.
00:24:43.280 The idea is that they should be able to pick it up and look at it and say, hey, you know,
00:24:47.620 I've been supporting this M103, for example.
00:24:50.920 Right.
00:24:51.080 That's the anti-Islamophobia motion from the government.
00:24:54.300 Right here in Canada, we have motion M103 that essentially says that if you speak out
00:24:59.800 against Islam or Muslims, you're a bigot, you're an Islamophobe, you know, it's the
00:25:04.760 work of Islamism.
00:25:06.220 It's the work of Islamists.
00:25:07.660 You just have to connect the dots, see who promoted it, where it came from.
00:25:11.900 And that is what I'm speaking out.
00:25:13.860 And I speak about that in the book as well.
00:25:16.040 And I speak about my testimony, you know, against the idea of M103.
00:25:21.760 Wow, that's very interesting.
00:25:22.940 You mentioned the reaction by the former ambassador.
00:25:27.500 Have you had any other early reaction?
00:25:30.160 The book is just out right now, so I know it hasn't been widely read and reacted to yet.
00:25:36.740 But, I mean, you've been talking about these things.
00:25:39.860 I'm going to guess that some people show you support quietly when no one's around, but
00:25:44.420 they're a little nervous to show you support publicly.
00:25:47.280 Am I right?
00:25:47.840 That's a fact.
00:25:48.700 That's a fact.
00:25:49.260 A lot of people are concerned about their popularity, but so far the response I've had
00:25:54.620 has been fantastic because this is a compendium of a lot of stuff that I have written in the
00:26:00.920 past.
00:26:01.220 But I managed to put it together in one place and the fact that it's alphabetical.
00:26:05.420 It breaks it down into bite sizes.
00:26:07.160 Yes.
00:26:07.480 And then, you know, people can say, you know, I wonder what blasphemy is.
00:26:11.200 And they can look under B for blasphemy.
00:26:13.260 Or, you know, what exactly is Sharia?
00:26:15.680 You know, is it Islamic?
00:26:18.040 Is it Quranic?
00:26:18.940 Is it not?
00:26:19.640 So they can look under Sharia for that.
00:26:21.820 So this is why I've got it alphabetical.
00:26:24.680 It doesn't obviously cover everything, so, you know, but it does cover what my life experience
00:26:30.700 is.
00:26:31.420 And it, I think, talks about basic human rights violations.
00:26:36.380 And that is what Islamists have been doing for far too long.
00:26:40.140 And it was about time that somebody said, no, enough is enough, and I'm going to be that
00:26:45.360 person.
00:26:45.880 Yeah.
00:26:46.100 Well, you're a very brave lady.
00:26:47.340 You could have published this book with any publisher who wasn't afraid.
00:26:51.840 I mean, what I mean by that is you have an excellent track record.
00:26:54.800 Your credentials are impeccable.
00:26:56.800 And so by that, I mean, it's an honor that you're with us.
00:26:59.860 It's some, I mean, any big publisher would want to have a book of this quality, but it
00:27:05.940 is still difficult because of political correctness.
00:27:08.580 I want to say, folks, if you go on Amazon.com, you can get this book as a paperback.
00:27:14.000 And I don't mean to be alarmist, but as an e-book, Amazon is resisting publishing it, and
00:27:20.080 they haven't given us a reason why.
00:27:22.860 And so I don't want to raise the alarm.
00:27:24.940 We're so proud to be affiliated with this project.
00:27:27.780 But I have to say, as someone who's been censored by Amazon before, I would encourage viewers
00:27:33.380 to get the book now.
00:27:35.380 I don't want to raise an alarm, but the fact that Amazon is not yet putting it up as an
00:27:39.700 e-book tells me they may be having an internal battle over this book.
00:27:45.180 It's quite possible.
00:27:46.220 And Ezra, I can't thank you enough.
00:27:48.120 I can't thank Rebel enough for supporting me.
00:27:51.140 Oh, it's a pleasure.
00:27:51.240 I wouldn't have done this without the Rebel.
00:27:53.080 I'm sure you would have, but that's nice of you to say.
00:27:55.000 Because I'm a Rebel, and Rebel was the right place to publish this book.
00:27:59.400 Well, our Rebel viewers love supporting authors who show courage.
00:28:03.480 And you show more courage than most, because as you mentioned, you've had death threats
00:28:07.360 over this stuff.
00:28:08.520 Folks, let me increase...
00:28:09.440 It's only 1999.
00:28:11.160 It's a solid book, but you're not going to be scared off by academic jargon.
00:28:16.540 It's an explainer.
00:28:17.700 It's also semi-autobiographical.
00:28:20.940 And you can get it at theabcsofislamism.com or on Amazon.
00:28:26.240 And I want to say again, please get it now, because as you know with my last book, Amazon
00:28:31.220 has in the past deleted books from their store when political pressure has mounted.
00:28:37.640 So I hope that many people order it now.
00:28:40.680 God forbid, if this is deleted by Amazon, we have a backup plan.
00:28:44.380 But for now, you can get it on Amazon or theabcsofislamism.com.
00:28:49.400 Congratulations on this book.
00:28:51.000 Thank you, yes.
00:28:51.140 You also have an audio book that we are getting processed through Amazon that you recorded
00:28:55.740 yourself.
00:28:56.240 So that's going to be wonderful.
00:28:57.540 Yes.
00:28:57.940 I lost my voice doing that, but it was great fun.
00:29:01.120 And I'm very excited about this, because I think that this is one of a kind.
00:29:05.520 And I am so grateful to you and Rebel for doing this.
00:29:08.380 And that's very nice of you to say, my friends, will you join with me in buying this book as
00:29:13.420 a Christmas present for someone who cares about these subjects?
00:29:17.120 And would you help me show the rest of the country that this book is what ordinary people
00:29:25.360 want to learn about?
00:29:26.720 Let's make this book number one on the Amazon chart.
00:29:32.100 We can do it.
00:29:32.980 It's an important symbol of support for Raheel and her courage.
00:29:38.240 That's it.
00:29:38.940 Theabcsofislamism.com.
00:29:40.840 Congratulations, my friend.
00:29:41.980 Thank you.
00:29:53.860 Hey, welcome back.
00:29:55.100 A couple of housekeeping items.
00:29:56.340 First of all, in the time between when I recorded that video with Raheel and right
00:30:01.280 now, we got the great news from Amazon.
00:30:03.900 They will, in fact, be carrying her e-book.
00:30:06.640 We had to send them a lawyer's letter growling at them, but they did comply.
00:30:10.240 So that's a little bit of an update.
00:30:11.860 Also, last night, we were a little bit late posting the show to video.
00:30:15.360 So our apologies for the hiccup.
00:30:18.360 And these things happen from time to time.
00:30:20.460 But thanks for staying with us and staying loyal to the program.
00:30:24.060 Here's some viewer feedback on my show last night.
00:30:25.840 Tim writes, they need to be named and the appropriate actions taken against these thugs.
00:30:33.120 Well, as I speak, we are reaching out to Joshua Walker, the Canadian Armed Forces Corporal
00:30:39.100 who was smashed.
00:30:40.640 And I hope that we can help him get some justice, not just for himself, but to deter other scolds,
00:30:49.080 other Karens.
00:30:50.840 And I have some friends named Karen who say, don't use that phrase.
00:30:53.280 I'm sorry, it's the nickname that sort of caught on to these schools.
00:30:56.180 Hopefully, it'll deter people from being violent.
00:30:59.620 Again, you know, using the pandemic as an excuse for bad behavior.
00:31:02.860 So we're going to try and help Joshua Walker fight back if he'll take our help.
00:31:06.040 I hope he does.
00:31:07.760 No name rights.
00:31:08.920 The security guards did not like he was laughing at them.
00:31:12.160 They got their feelings hurt.
00:31:13.260 So they tackled him.
00:31:15.880 Yeah, you know what?
00:31:16.520 Someone sent me a note saying that causing a disturbance is in the criminal code.
00:31:21.020 All right, I take it.
00:31:22.420 But I think the people who were, but that's not what they charged him with.
00:31:26.380 They charged him with failing to leave.
00:31:28.900 And they pounced on him, claiming he wasn't leaving.
00:31:32.400 We saw with our eyes he was leaving.
00:31:34.520 We saw with our eyes.
00:31:35.420 So that's incorrect.
00:31:36.660 I should ask you this.
00:31:38.440 I mean, I appreciate someone correcting me and saying, look, what he did could have been
00:31:42.900 called causing a disturbance because he was sort of hollering.
00:31:45.340 All right, maybe.
00:31:46.320 But if you want to know the people who caused the disturbance, it was the mall security guards.
00:31:51.120 Can you deny it?
00:31:51.840 A.J. writes, I hope he gets a lawyer and sues that mall.
00:31:57.760 Well, A.J., I might have some news for you on that as soon as tomorrow.
00:32:04.100 My friends, that's a show for today.
00:32:06.020 Interesting times.
