00:00:00.000 What's new in the gender wars? Canada's leading general in the gender wars joins me tonight
00:00:05.780 to give us an update. I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed and you're watching The Gunn Show.
00:00:09.380 You know, honestly, we should put that on David Menzies' business card.
00:00:31.780 General in Canada's gender wars. You know, he is an Archie Bunker lovable
00:00:38.760 regular dude. A dad of two boys, by the way. No girls. And yet, he's one of the leading individuals
00:00:51.360 in this country with, I think, the largest platform sticking up for women and girls.
00:00:55.700 David Menzies is sticking up for daughters like mine out there as he fights for fairness on the
00:01:02.040 sports field and for privacy rights for teenage girls. And it is a story that is traveling around
00:01:13.060 the world. David is doing outside appearances on American networks, some of the biggest American
00:01:19.920 networks, some of the biggest American podcasts. It's being discussed by the likes of Joe Rogan
00:01:26.720 and Matt Walsh. And yet, not even touched by the mainstream media here in Canada because they're
00:01:33.980 too scared because, as you know, how Justin Trudeau feels about the transgender community,
00:01:39.320 that if it's trans, it's good. And if it's good, it's trans. And there's no other viewpoint.
00:01:45.980 So if you want to keep your funding from Justin Trudeau, you better shut up and go along with what the boss
00:01:50.520 says. And that, I think, is why there's such a singular viewpoint from the mainstream media on
00:01:57.540 this issue. And so, joining me tonight in an interview we recorded last night in Calgary at
00:02:06.100 a documentary screening is my friend David Menzies. We had a little chat. Lighting's not great, but
00:02:12.760 David's probably better. You know what? We're both probably better under soft lighting. Take a listen.
00:02:20.520 Thank you.
00:02:50.520 David Menzies, fan favourite of viewers of The Gun Show. I wanted to talk to you about the latest
00:03:03.960 developments in the Transanity beat. So we've moved from rugby. Correct. And now we've got swimming.
00:03:13.180 Yes. Now we've got volleyball. Correct.
00:03:15.240 Tell us about the volleyball stuff, because that seems to be the newest thing,
00:03:20.340 because it's not just one team cheating. Now it's two teams cheating and women being completely shut out
00:03:25.960 altogether. I think the latest news, Sheila, is the president and CEO of Centennial College,
00:03:34.120 Dr. Craig Stevenson, who has this knack of describing himself as a white, straight,
00:03:42.240 cisgender male male. So just normal.
00:03:46.080 Just normal. But by the progressive left point of view, it's incredibly privileged. And he probably
00:03:52.320 should step down so that, you know, someone who identifies as female or a person of colour can have
00:03:57.900 his job. But anyways, he released this statement, and I urge your viewers to go check it out.
00:04:02.940 Basically, he's talking about the visit that Avery Armstrong, my camerawoman and I paid to Centennial to
00:04:12.480 cover this allegedly female varsity volleyball game, in which there were no fewer than five males on the
00:04:20.020 court. And supposedly, us asking those questions caused so much trauma, that if you didn't know,
00:04:29.360 Dr. Stevenson was talking about a volleyball game. Sheila, I swear to you, you would think it was about
00:04:35.900 a mass shooting on campus. In fact, at the end, the piece de la resistance is all these links for
00:04:45.000 mental health and LGBT resource centres. So if you were traumatised either by eyewitnessing our visit,
00:04:54.420 or seeing the video, you can reach out to these mental health professionals and get counselling.
00:05:01.340 It's absolutely amazing.
00:05:03.020 Looking at you was the least disturbing thing of that video. And you know, there's a side story in
00:05:11.400 all of this, because it's not just a bunch of male grifters or mediocre men replacing women
00:05:17.940 on a sports team. This is a university level sports team, which means that there are girls who could have
00:05:27.100 had a scholarship to play on that team that just aren't getting it because guys in ponytails are.
00:05:32.900 100%. And if there was any traumatic behaviour, and by the way, Sheila, we must thank Dr. Stevenson
00:05:39.980 from the bottom of our hearts, because he gave Rebel News the best advertising there is.
00:05:45.080 In his statement, he urges students and everyone else, either to not watch or share the video.
00:05:52.920 When you see someone like that saying, don't watch it, what is your...
00:05:56.840 Streisand effect.
00:05:58.720 So thank you so much, Dr. Stevenson. But if you look at it too, all the vulgarity, all the rudeness
00:06:06.860 was encountered by Avery and I.
00:06:11.720 You were the recipients of it.
00:06:12.940 Exactly. Including that member of the rainbow community. I don't know what he is, but he said
00:06:18.340 words, and I'll clean it up for your show. I hope you rot in hell, you white racist piece of blank.
00:06:25.820 And first of all, what does race have to do with it? And race was never raised. And this man,
00:06:31.100 he looked like a biological man, was literally trying to punch out Avery. He was prevented from
00:06:36.340 doing so by security. So here you got someone using the race card, which race was never part of the
00:06:43.540 issue, using vulgarity. And I guess, hopefully trying to carry out misogyny. The funniest thing,
00:06:51.860 Sheila, and I'll clean up the language again, is when he said to Avery,
00:06:55.540 do you think just because you have a vagina, that makes you a woman?
00:07:03.000 I believe that checks the box.
00:07:04.380 You know, I think that's the benchmark. I think that's the, you know, that's the home run. You've
00:07:08.320 rounded home plate. And, but, you know, Dr. Stevenson doesn't mention that. Or the fact that,
00:07:14.620 you know, these cronies were trying to block our filming, or the fact that you see when I'm doing
00:07:20.920 the stand up and close, a player tried to deliberately spike a ball off me and, and missed.
00:07:28.680 So like, you know, which is really an act of violence. I mean, if he connected, that could hurt
00:07:33.420 you. And that was the point of us going there. These male players we know have injured, have given
00:07:39.820 female players concussions by spiking the ball off their heads. Again, that's not diversity,
00:07:46.860 equity, and inclusion, Sheila. That is garden variety misogyny. But Dr. Stevenson has nothing
00:07:53.400 to say about that, does he? I want to talk to you a little bit though, about the statement of
00:07:58.520 Stevenson, because, you know, for you and I, I would say, go look at the video and see for yourself,
00:08:07.160 because the video tells the story. It shows these very obviously biologically male players.
00:08:15.120 It shows the poor behavior of the other side. It shows the unsportsmanlike behavior trying to spike
00:08:21.640 the ball at you. It shows exactly the bad behavior of the other side. And I think that's why he doesn't
00:08:27.200 want people to see it. He's telling people, don't, don't you dare go look at it because it shows us in
00:08:32.280 our natural element. You know what, I think you're right. He's mixing up who the villains are and who
00:08:37.400 the bad guys are. Well, that's why he can't let them see it, right? Because it shows who the bad guys are.
00:08:41.960 A hundred percent. But moving on from volleyball, and of course, we had the follow-up video where we
00:08:46.600 went to the Seneca campus in King City, and again, talked about an active shooting. There were so many
00:08:52.760 security guards dispatched there. I thought maybe something traumatic had happened, but no, they were
00:09:00.540 there for us. And we were frog marched out. That was my camera member, Rizzo and I, because according
00:09:07.140 to them, our values don't align with theirs. And you know, it's funny, Sheila, I thought universities,
00:09:13.240 colleges, I thought these were, you know, the grounds for debate, you know, whatever the,
00:09:18.640 the most contentious issues imaginable, capital punishment, abortion, and so on. But no, right
00:09:24.520 now, if you don't think in log step, you're not welcome here. And not just not welcome there. If
00:09:29.700 you don't have, like, complete homogeneity of political worldview, you can't watch a volleyball
00:09:35.940 game. Indeed. And even though this is a taxpayer-funded facility, right? And there was also this malarkey,
00:09:44.580 you weren't giving an invite. And I said at one point, well, all these people in the stands,
00:09:49.360 were they all given invites? And that was met with silence. The answer is no. So they're making up
00:09:54.180 crap as they go along. Just today, I spoke to April Hutchinson, and she delivered a bombshell.
00:10:01.440 Anne Andrews, the gender-bending grifter who is going into female powerlifting in Canada.
00:10:10.040 Sorry, before you go on, he's the reason April is banned for a year. Because he took to his social
00:10:17.640 media and mocked the women he was beating. Yes. And April complained about it to the powerlifting
00:10:23.760 union. They didn't do anything. So she did the same thing. She went to her social media and expressed
00:10:29.500 her outrage. Guess who gets banned? It's April, not the male who's mocking the women.
00:10:34.640 It is outrageous. And you're right. It was originally two years. It was reduced to one.
00:10:40.080 It shouldn't even be one second. I mean, all April was doing was stating a fact. But in this society,
00:10:47.100 we have an unpopular opinion gets you cancelled. And the fact of the matter is, April said that
00:10:55.300 Anne Andrews is trying to get around any kind of rules or regulations preventing trans women
00:11:01.820 from competing with the real woman in female powerlifting. And Sheila, you're not going to
00:11:07.080 believe this. What he is saying now, and I think this is ample evidence there's mental illness at play,
00:11:13.320 or this guy is just such a nefarious individual. He is saying, I am not trans. Oh, that's interesting.
00:11:21.640 No, I was born as a woman. Yeah, with a penis, but a woman. So he is actually having the audacity,
00:11:31.380 the chutzpah to say, I never transitioned. I was always a female. Are the Canadian powerlifting people
00:11:39.640 going to let him get away with this too? You know, they just might. And we should say that
00:11:46.020 though April was suspended for a year, she did change the powerlifting union rules going forward.
00:11:52.720 So that gender bending grifters, as you say, like Anne Andrews, are not allowed to compete,
00:11:59.280 which is why Anne is now claiming that he was just born a woman just like me.
00:12:06.360 There's no end to which these people will force us all to participate in their delusions.
00:12:12.360 No, there isn't. And let's talk about the other fiasco. That is Ash Davis.
00:12:17.720 This is the male rugby player. And I found out from a source, Sheila, that recently they had their
00:12:25.440 banquet and Ash Davis showed up like in an evening gown. And-
00:12:30.100 He did that last year too, remember?
00:12:32.340 God.
00:12:33.900 You know, at least I'll give props to Busty Lemieux. At least he's trying to look like a female,
00:12:38.880 albeit a grotesque caricature of one with the Zed cup breasts and the blonde wig.
00:12:43.020 But at least he's, you know, employing the props of femininity. This guy barely, you know,
00:12:50.340 mails it in. But now where was I going? Oh, this was very interesting, Sheila.
00:12:57.000 They didn't- He is clearly the most complete physical specimen on that team because he is a man.
00:13:04.900 But the team did not award him the hardest hitting trophy, which he won the previous season-
00:13:13.280 As a dude.
00:13:14.020 As a dude.
00:13:15.040 They gave it to a female player. And the reason, Sheila, is that they're making the narrative here
00:13:24.160 that, you see, even though he's a biological male, he has no physical advantage.
00:13:28.920 It was a biological female that won the hardest hitting trophy, although it's a complete farce.
00:13:35.000 It's a lie.
00:13:36.440 You know, and I think you're moving the needle on these issues. I think your advocacy for April
00:13:43.940 Hutchinson helped her push that in the right direction, just giving her a platform. But now
00:13:49.120 you're inspiring some parents to come forward. You know, we've constantly said, where are the
00:13:54.980 parents when these biological male, for example, swimmers, are swimming as 13-year-old girls when
00:14:02.180 they're 50-plus-year-old men? You've got a mom that came forward. Tell us about that.
00:14:06.720 And Nina Luchka, a wonderful lady herself. She's involved in bodybuilding. And maybe that was the
00:14:13.460 impetus for her to take a stand for her 14-year-old daughter, who swims in southern Ontario as well.
00:14:19.620 And yeah, finally, Mama Bear woke up. Nina granted us almost an hour of her time to talk
00:14:26.740 about Nicholas Cepeda. And there was two things. I was always curious, you know, because I could
00:14:35.280 never get parents on camera. They'd run away. They'd give me stink eye. I was thinking, are they
00:14:40.180 uber woke and they're considering me the skunk to the garden party? Or are they just too afraid to go
00:14:47.200 on camera? It's the latter. They're too afraid to go on camera. Nina tells me that all the parents,
00:14:52.780 all the children, they can't stand this guy getting into the pool, getting into the change room,
00:14:59.480 getting into the showers. And so that was gratifying. It's really a fear out of, you know,
00:15:05.080 cancel culture. The second thing, and this pertains to, you know, Ash Davis not winning
00:15:10.420 the hardest hitting trophy, Sheila, is that Nina's been watching the times of Nicholas Cepeda very
00:15:18.380 closely. And he's actually getting slower. And she says, she believes that this is him purposefully
00:15:28.400 tanking. So he's, you know, he's not coming in for a second or third. He's coming in fourth,
00:15:34.620 fifth or sixth. Again, it's to build the argument that me as a biological male, decades older than
00:15:42.540 the other swimmers, I do not have an advantage in the pool. But Sheila, sports is all about winning.
00:15:49.420 It's all about getting to the podium, getting the trophy, getting that blue ribbon. So I'm thinking
00:15:54.900 out loud here, this is real impetus, this is real unspoken strategy, just to get into the change room
00:16:02.640 and shower in order to be this perverse voyeur that I truly believe, you know, he is.
00:16:10.160 Yeah, makes you wonder the motivation.
00:16:13.140 In a world plagued by conformity, where truth is distorted, freedom is a distant memory,
00:16:18.840 and Big Brother is always watching. One man, Winston Smith, looks to break through his bleak existence.
00:16:25.860 Introducing the all new Rebel Illustrated Classics edition of George Orwell's iconic book, 1984.
00:16:31.520 Now, more than ever, in the age of lockdowns, 15-minute cities, and World Economic Forum globalism,
00:16:38.980 everyone must read 1984. Uncover the hidden depths of this literary classic with our exclusive
00:16:45.220 illustrated edition that brings Orwell's haunting vision to life. Reborn with a foreword by Ezra Levant,
00:16:51.260 and 30 captivating new illustrations by artist Paul Revoche.
00:16:55.020 You see that Orwell is not only explaining what might come, but in my opinion, what's already here,
00:17:02.480 even back when he wrote it in 1949, but much more so as we see revealed today, particularly with the last three years.
00:17:09.640 Join the rebellion against conformity. Get your hands on the Rebel Illustrated Classics edition of 1984.
00:17:15.260 We are at Canyon Meadows Cinema. We're just about to screen a documentary. People are starting to show up,
00:17:24.180 so the show will be a little shorter than normal, and we're going to wrap it up.
00:17:28.560 But not before I ask. David Menzies, what he thinks about Premier Daniel Smith making her announcement
00:17:35.520 that children will not be medically transitioned at all. They will not be given cross-sex hormones
00:17:43.600 until they are at least 16 with the consent of their parents, that teachers will not be able to
00:17:48.220 socially transition children in the classroom without the consent of their parents,
00:17:53.220 and that biological men will have to compete with biological men,
00:17:57.660 and biological women will compete with biological women.
00:18:00.860 This is more impetus, Sheila, to prove, I think, that Premier Smith is the best premier in an entire dominion.
00:18:10.540 This is a common sense, logical, factual approach. She's putting her foot down,
00:18:16.540 and as much as I love and applaud what Daniel Smith has done, I am even furthermore appalled
00:18:23.640 that Premier Ford was quick out of the gate to say, oh no, we're not going down that route.
00:18:28.720 And this is a government, Sheila, this is a party, if you recall back in 2018,
00:18:34.000 when the Ford PCs were originally elected, they were taking a stance against the radicalized
00:18:39.960 sex education curriculum by the McGinty-Winn governments. I would argue, and I think I could
00:18:45.980 argue successfully, that the sex ed curriculum in Ontario is far more radicalized than it was
00:18:53.540 under the Liberals, if you can imagine. And Premier Ford, and the man I call the invisible man or the
00:18:59.740 hollow man, and Minister of Education, Steve Lecce, is nowhere to be found on this file.
00:19:05.800 And, you know, with the Minister of Sport in Ontario is Neil Lumsden, CFL Hall of Famer, you know.
00:19:12.540 He should, if anyone should have a realization that there is a difference between male and female
00:19:18.660 athletes, for obvious reasons, which is why we've separated males and females into their own
00:19:25.120 divisions, with the exception of auto racing and equestrian.
00:19:28.720 And sports shooting.
00:19:29.580 And sports shooting, I'll grant you that. It should be somebody like Mr. Lumsden, who has
00:19:34.780 played professional football. We've reached out to his office and to his, you know, spokes-thingy
00:19:40.580 minions. Radio silence. Despicable.
00:19:43.480 Well, and it's a winning issue across, I think, all political parties. We saw this happen in the
00:19:50.540 United States with Governor Youngkin. They flipped the state of Virginia. A deep Democrat state, a lot
00:19:58.380 of government workers there. And this was the one issue. It percolated up from the school board. It
00:20:03.840 became a local issue that spread across all political parties, and it flipped the state. It's a winning
00:20:11.020 issue for politicians who are brave enough to buck the trend and go with reality. But your man, Doug
00:20:19.540 Ford, he's not bright enough?
00:20:22.200 He ain't my man, Sheila. I don't know where you got that one from. One thing I found out in the last
00:20:26.260 five years is that there was a profound difference between Doug Ford and the late great mayor of
00:20:30.980 Toronto, Rob Ford. It's total polar opposites. But more to the point, Sheila, is this. We are told over
00:20:38.960 and over again, the number one prime directive when it comes to policies and what have you is public
00:20:45.780 safety, right? And when it comes to public safety, you have a man, Ash Davis, playing against females
00:20:53.380 and injuring them. There was a game against Stony Creek last year in which three women had to be
00:20:59.180 carted off the field because of his tackles. You have, we know of at least two women who have had to have
00:21:06.320 medical treatment due to concussions thanks to having a ball spiked off their head by one of
00:21:12.400 the Seneca Sting male players. So two things. One is, where's public safety? Because this is literally
00:21:21.740 an unsafe environment when you mix men and women in contact and semi-contact sports. And secondly,
00:21:29.600 if you really believe accommodating men who might be cheaters, who might be suffering from mental
00:21:37.720 illness, I don't know, onto female sports teams, if you think that's an example of diversity,
00:21:43.340 equity and inclusion, I'm sorry, it isn't. It is garden variety misogyny. And I ask you, Sheila,
00:21:50.240 where in blue hell is the feminist movement on this one?
00:21:54.020 Yeah, it's weird that you are Canada's leading women's rights activist at this point.
00:21:59.180 And that's not to take away from people like April Hutchinson, but who, who thought this guy
00:22:05.760 would be Canada's leading feminist at this point?
00:22:09.220 It's unbelievable. I never envisioned this myself. Next time I'm at an Andrew Dice Clay
00:22:15.240 concert, I'm going to have to pinch myself because yeah, I am doing my best to reach out to, for real
00:22:21.820 women, something the feminist movement should be doing and something that the mainstream media in
00:22:26.360 Canada should be doing. They're not touching any of this. And I think with either feminism or
00:22:31.500 mainstream media, Sheila, it's one of two things. This is too third rail an issue, too hot to handle.
00:22:38.400 They don't want to be condemned as transphobes or the both feminists today, the modern day feminists
00:22:44.940 and the media actually believe in this rubbish that trans women are real women. They are that
00:22:52.580 indoctrinated. I think there's a third option, too, and that is much of the mainstream media
00:22:57.860 hold the same viewpoint as Justin Trudeau on many things, not just this. And a lot of that has to do
00:23:06.940 with the contamination of the mainstream media with government money. And so you must agree with
00:23:13.100 Justin Trudeau to survive and keep your job. Yeah. And we know where Justin Trudeau is with
00:23:17.680 this. He is totally down with the radical transgender agenda. So you're right. If your
00:23:24.720 sugar daddy is a fan of this, why are you going to bite the hand that feeds? Again, that speaks to
00:23:31.580 the inherent conflict of interest mainstream media is in by getting all this taxpayer funded welfare
00:23:38.900 to keep their sunset industry alive. Yeah. And even still, their sunset industry continues to fail,
00:23:45.480 I think, because people have lost trust in them because you and I both know when we see a man
00:23:51.600 wearing women's clothes and and, you know, I don't care what they put for their pronouns. We know what
00:23:58.160 it is, regardless of what the mainstream media says it is. Now, before I let you go, because the line is
00:24:03.240 getting really quite long here. Do you think things are changing? Things in Alberta, we have a strong
00:24:12.360 grasp of reality. I think that's what makes us different than the rest of the country. Are things
00:24:18.480 changing? Do you think? I think they are, Sheila. It's baby steps. Nina Luchka, the swim mom, came
00:24:25.100 out on camera on the record. And April's one of yours. She's from Ontario. And you've got April
00:24:30.600 Hutchinson. Also, you have people in the various communities, including rugby and volleyball and
00:24:36.460 swimming that off the record are getting in touch with me. They're too scared of cancel culture. And
00:24:42.600 I kind of get it. Right. But the they are, you know, giving me these tidbits of, you know, whether
00:24:50.040 it's Nicholas Cepeda deliberately tanking. Right. We're getting these as tips. So people there are
00:24:56.580 whistleblowers inside. And it's people from within these sporting communities. That's the important
00:25:01.520 thing. So all is not fine with them. And we are getting tipped off about this and we'll continue to
00:25:09.440 expose it. You know, I don't care. This is all being, you know, really the contempt I have most of
00:25:16.260 all is for the sporting authorities in the provinces and in Canada, allowing this to happen. Rugby,
00:25:22.460 World Rugby to its credit in 2020, they were a trailblazer on this issue. Men cannot play with
00:25:30.460 women. So why is Rugby Canada and Rugby Ontario violating this? Same with Swimming Canada and Swim
00:25:36.400 Ontario. World. You're in our shots. Same with Swimming Canada and Swim Ontario. Why are they not
00:25:46.400 following the mandate of the international governing body, World Aquatics, which last year created an
00:25:53.620 other category for trans swimmers? By the way, Sheila, I should point out at the World Swimming
00:25:58.400 Championships in Berlin, Germany last October, that's when that other transgender category debuted.
00:26:05.080 Guess what? Not a single trans swimmer showed up. What does that tell you? Maybe it's not about
00:26:10.440 getting in the pool because this is total accommodation. Maybe it's about getting in
00:26:15.720 the change room, getting into the shower with the other gender. Maybe this is more about perversion
00:26:20.180 as opposed to inclusion in the swimming pool. That's what I think because this community being
00:26:25.240 asking for years and years and years, accommodate us. World Aquatics went out of their way to do so.
00:26:30.620 And it was no sale with this community. You know, I should note that David Menzies,
00:26:35.680 you're not a dad of daughters. No. So you're just a man who still believes in chivalry. You know,
00:26:42.560 like for me, it's a little bit personal being a woman, but also being a mom of a couple of girls and
00:26:48.480 one of them a high performing athlete. But for you, it's just good old fashioned chivalry and
00:26:53.180 try as the feminist movement has to kill it. It's still alive. Sheila, my worst fear of all,
00:26:59.740 if the pendulum doesn't swing, because we're already seeing it with the female varsity volleyball in
00:27:04.720 Ontario, is that if we don't put an end to this madness, this transanity, what we're going to
00:27:11.200 have in our lifetime is you're going to have the male varsity team. And then you're going to have
00:27:17.620 the male varsity B team, which was formerly known as the female team. But these are the men that could
00:27:27.740 not make the real men's team. And now it's men's team B. And what are the women? Well, I guess they
00:27:34.940 can. Back to the kitchen for us. Yeah. I mean, maybe they can be cheerleaders. Maybe that's their way of
00:27:40.520 getting involved in sport. That's where this is headed. I don't want to see that. I want, you know,
00:27:45.220 sports is a healthy activity for everyone to embrace. And I can't believe the progressive leftists
00:27:52.860 are really declaring war on female sports. Shame on them. Ship away, folks. David Menzies here with a
00:27:59.500 once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm inviting you to set sail on the high seas with the boldest,

00:29:50.920 Well, we've come to the portion of the show where I invite your viewer feedback. I know,
00:30:02.500 regular viewers of the show, this is boring and redundant, but we get new people here all the
00:30:06.660 time, and we have to tell them the rules. If you want to send me a letter, comment, feedback on the show,
00:30:15.400 send it to sheila at rebelnews.com. You see, unlike the mainstream media, we rely on you at home. And so
00:30:23.460 if there's no you, there's no us. And so don't you think that entitles you to tell me what you think
00:30:28.840 about me and the work that we do here at Rebel News? That's why I give out my email address.
00:30:34.740 Do you think anybody in the mainstream media, you think Rosie Barton's given out her email address?
00:30:39.360 Come on. But don't let that be the bar for entry. For example, if you are watching the free version
00:30:45.120 of the show over on Rumble or YouTube, by the way, if you are using Rumble, thanks for choosing a free
00:30:50.680 speech platform. And if you are still on YouTube, I kind of appreciate you too over there. Because,
00:30:58.200 you know, like when, when they don't want me somewhere, that's how you get more of me.
00:31:02.560 And it's very clear that YouTube does not want more conservatives over there. So,
00:31:08.520 you know, those of you hanging on for spite, I get you. And I appreciate you. And there are 1.6
00:31:14.380 million sets of eyeballs watching us over on YouTube. And that's why we continue to post there.
00:31:20.080 A for spite and B because you're there. It's the world's second largest search engine. So why
00:31:26.220 wouldn't we be there? I mean, it pains us to have to self censor. Because the rules are so strict
00:31:33.120 over there, but it is what it is. So leave us a comment there. And actually, that's where today's
00:31:39.520 comment comes from. And it is actually not at all on the gun show. It is on a protest I covered last
00:31:48.980 week when I was in Ottawa, you see, Kian Simone, our head of documentaries, and I are working on a
00:31:56.180 documentary called made the dark side of Canadian compassion. And it's about made medical assistance
00:32:03.300 in dying, and the horror stories therein. You can see, we've got some video clips, you can sort of
00:32:12.460 see what we're doing so far. It's at made documentary.com. But unlike, you know, basically
00:32:19.180 every other documentary made in this country, we are not taking money from the federal government to do
00:32:23.400 it. There will be no like made in conjunction with telefilm Canada. And thanks to a grant from
00:32:30.220 the federal government. Heck no. So if you want to help us make this documentary and tell the stories
00:32:36.820 of families that are dealing with the fallout of medical assistance in dying, and tell the stories of
00:32:43.400 the abuse of the medical system on these families. You can do that at made documentary.com. And thank you
00:32:50.780 to everybody who donates to make, I think, this very important work possible. That's what the show
00:32:57.520 was on last week. And you can sort of see Kian's experience as he comes from somebody who thought,
00:33:03.820 you know, I believe in bodily autonomy, people can do sort of do whatever they want. And when they
00:33:07.220 think it's their time, then it's their time. If they're sick, or if they're dying, or they're
00:33:11.800 suffering. And he has become radicalized over to my way of thinking. And I haven't proselytized him at
00:33:19.180 all. It's just hearing from the people that has changed him to thinking that this is an absolute
00:33:27.140 horror, where the medical system has decided that it must replace God himself to determine when people
00:33:38.700 live, and when they die, and what we should do with their bodies. So anyway, you can, if you watch the show
00:33:45.000 last week, you'll see Kian talk about his conversion. But speaking of conversion therapies, how's that
00:33:52.260 for a segue? In Alberta, our premier Daniel Smith has decided, quite rightly, quite sanely, that we will
00:34:03.120 not be medically transitioning kids with bottom or top surgery for transgender ism before the age of 18.
00:34:17.640 And there will be no cross sex hormones administered before the age of 16. And only with parents consent,
00:34:23.960 and activist teachers will not be transitioning your children socially behind your back,
00:34:27.380 calling little Susie, little Steve, and not telling the parents. And that men have to play
00:34:35.160 on men's teams and girls have to play on girls teams. These are same things. If you have teenagers,
00:34:41.420 you know, they can't drive till they're 16. And even then you're like, I don't know if I want them
00:34:47.500 operating a vehicle. Depending on your child, I have one that I trust implicitly. And the other one,
00:34:52.260 I'm like, I don't know, not yet. And, you know, they can't get their ears pierced without you. They
00:34:58.120 can't get a tattoo without you. They can't go to the tanning salon without you. Although I'm not sure
00:35:03.840 why you'd let a teenager go to the tanning salon. But, you know, like, there's a million things that
00:35:10.500 they can't do without parental consent. They can't rent an apartment. They can't vote,
00:35:18.300 can't enter into a contract. But according to activists, they should be allowed to irreparably
00:35:25.640 damage their bodies without parental consent. Because apparently the activists know your kids
00:35:31.940 better than you do. And they love your kids more than you. And if you have, you know, social
00:35:37.360 conservative proclivities like me, then you couldn't possibly love your child more than the
00:35:43.100 self-sterilized, blue-haired cat mom that has never met your child. Sure. Anyway, so I just took a
00:35:54.100 very long way around setting up this story. But while we were in Ottawa working on the main documentary,
00:36:01.660 my premier, Daniel Smith, wouldn't you know it, she was in town. She was giving a speech. And
00:36:06.180 all the activist kookaloos were there to protest her, including Faye Johnstone. Faye Johnstone is the
00:36:13.900 biological male who was the keynote speaker at the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards in Regina,
00:36:20.320 of all places. And he was also involved in Hershey's, the chocolate company, their Women's Day campaign.
00:36:31.780 Anyway, and that drew international mockery, by the way. And I spawned a Jeremy's chocolates
00:36:42.360 over the Daily Wire. So, you know, whatever. But Faye Johnstone, Ottawa activist, transgender
00:36:49.480 activist, was there to protest one of the most successful and accomplished real women in the
00:36:54.780 entire country, Daniel Smith. And I covered the protests. And as an Albertan, I thought it was odd
00:37:01.820 because it felt like these people don't know us at all. Like, do you really think that Albertans
00:37:08.180 are considering the advice of the transgender Antifa mob in Ottawa before we cast our votes for our
00:37:21.840 premier? You know, like, I'm looking at tax policies and education and property rights and gun rights and,
00:37:31.180 you know, green schemes. I'm looking at all those things and parents' rights before I cast a ballot.
00:37:38.780 But then I stop and I'm like, oh, remember the anti-convoy lunatics in Ottawa? Wonder how they would
00:37:45.740 like me to think. Let me throw out what's best for my family and sit down and listen to that
00:37:51.800 masked maniac out there protesting Daniel Smith. That's the sober second thought we need. Are these
00:38:02.000 people crazy? Have they ever met in Albertan? Do they know why we fight with Ottawa? Why we feel
00:38:07.800 culturally distinct from the rest of the country? I never felt more culturally distinct than when I was
00:38:13.860 being shouted at from across the street by a Frankenfemale named Faye Johnstone whipping the
00:38:23.600 crowd up against me and Kian telling me to go F myself on the microphone, the megaphone that she
00:38:32.360 was blaring. He was blaring. I'm sorry. I don't mean to use the wrong language. I mean to exist in
00:38:39.320 reality. But anyway, I covered that protest. You can see it. It's on Rebel News YouTube and over on
00:38:45.560 Rebel News Rumble. And today's comment comes from the comment section on Rumble of that story. It's
00:38:53.000 from Multivalent. Says, I have no idea how people could become so insane in a country like Canada.
00:39:01.380 I'm with you, buddy. Anyway, when I was 17, I used fake ID to get a tattoo that I regretted for years
00:39:11.080 until the laser technology had advanced enough for me to get it removed when I was 38. Yeah.
00:39:18.940 And you it's laser therapy. It's invasive. I've lightened a tattoo so I could cover it.
00:39:26.020 Um, because like you, uh, and I was 18, 19, 20, maybe I got a tattoo. I didn't like it. And I am
00:39:33.560 a tattooed lady. I they're not to everybody's tastes. And I understand that. So I don't have
00:39:39.560 them out all the time. But yeah, I was like a fully grown adult with a child and a mortgage and a car
00:39:45.280 payment. And I later on, I was like, what, what, what do I have on myself? And I had it lightened so
00:39:52.700 that I could cover it. And that was easier than just getting it taken all the way off. To be frank,
00:39:58.640 that was very painful. Um, but yeah, like I was a fully functioning adult and I still
00:40:04.920 made decisions that I regretted and on my body. And at least it was just a painful undo.
00:40:14.240 If you cut your junk off, there's no laser therapy to put it back on. In fact,
00:40:19.940 the current bottom surgery, the levels of dissatisfaction with it are through the roof,
00:40:28.060 through the roof. It's, it's just not there yet. I'm not sure it'll ever be there.
00:40:34.480 Anyway, let's keep going. Like it actually added to depression episodes that I would go through.
00:40:40.160 Oh, I was never like that. I just was like, what have I, what was I thinking when I got this thing?
00:40:44.880 Anyway, imagine now a 17 year old that gets their dick cut off and grows to regret it.
00:40:51.680 That is going to be some major lifetime trauma to contend with. It's absolute insanity what this
00:40:57.760 one group is promoting. I actually believe any doctor that performs bottom surgery to anyone,
00:41:03.520 no matter their age, is immoral.
00:41:05.640 I wouldn't argue with you at all on anything there. Um, I, I don't think that a solution to
00:41:18.900 a mental problem is a physical intervention. And that is why people who undergo gender transition,
00:41:28.980 as if that's a thing you could do, it's cosmetic surgery, but people who undergo this experience
00:41:37.720 rates of suicidality, much higher after the surgery rates of depression, much higher after
00:41:44.800 the surgery, because you're not actually treating the reason why they feel that way.
00:41:49.020 You're just making a cosmetic change that doesn't address what the underlying issue is. And I think
00:41:57.480 it is so inhumane and I worry, I worry about those people. I truly do. I don't think that the activists and
00:42:11.280 I are far away from each other on the issue of the suffering of these people. Psychologically
00:42:18.720 speaking, I just have a different solution. Um, one that is less invasive and more honest with them.
00:42:30.380 Well, everybody, that's the show for tonight. Thank you so much for tuning in. I'll see everybody
00:42:34.340 back here in the same time, in the same place next week. And as always, don't let the government
00:42:38.200 tell you that you've had too much to think.
