00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. Today is a fun show. It's the best of the new Rebels. You know, we've got about
00:00:06.080 four or five new talent here. Each is a little bit different in their own way. I think they all
00:00:11.920 like to fight for freedom. That's the commonality. So we'll go through the best of the Rebels. I wish
00:00:16.900 you had the video version of this, though, because so much of it is visual on location or just
00:00:21.440 interesting things. You can get the video version of this podcast by becoming what we call a premium
00:00:27.200 subscriber to Rebel News Plus. That's basically the video version of the podcast, plus access to
00:00:32.900 Sheila Gunn-Reed's show and David Menzies' show. You can get all that at rebelnews.com for just eight
00:00:38.060 bucks a month. That's less than Netflix. And it really helps us pay our bills here. We rely on
00:00:43.960 that, I got to tell you. So if you can help us, go to rebelnews.com and chip in. If you buy a whole
00:00:49.220 year's worth of subscription in advance, you actually get a discount a whole year for 80 bucks
00:00:54.160 instead of the 96 bucks it would normally be. Okay, here's today's show.
00:01:13.380 Tonight, Rebel News is growing. Let me show you some of the best of our new talent. It's August 14,
00:01:19.100 and this is the Ezra LeVant Show. Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon
00:01:25.720 consumer I know? There's 8,500 customers here and you won't give them an answer. The only thing I
00:01:31.540 have to say to the government about why I publish it is because it's my bloody right to do so.
00:01:41.620 Well, I tell you, it's fun being a rebel. And I don't just mean being rebel in your heart. I mean,
00:01:48.120 working here at Rebel News. Almost every week, we have someone who says they want to join the team.
00:01:53.700 Alas, we don't have CBC-sized budgets. And just because someone wants to work here, well, are they
00:01:59.400 truly rebellious? I take it as a negative sign if someone has gone to an official journalism school.
00:02:07.080 That tells me that although they're interested in the craft, they probably have some bad things they
00:02:11.580 learned they have to unlearn. If I'm not mistaken, the only person in our whole team with a journalism
00:02:17.500 degree is our friend David Menzies. And he got that way back in the day before the whole woke culture
00:02:23.740 became the Norman journalism schools. I like to find our journalists in the wild, natural fighters
00:02:30.640 trying to stop the tides of political correctness. That's how we found Sheila Gunn-Reed tweeting up a
00:02:36.680 storm in Alberta. Now she's our chief reporter and one of the best. In recent months, I'm delighted that
00:02:42.780 our team of rebels has actually grown a little bit, not recklessly, but steadily, as there's so much
00:02:50.400 news to cover. And there's only so many stories any of us can do in a given day. Kian Bexty joined
00:02:56.760 our team about a year and a half ago, and he's become a top investigator. But since that time, in fact,
00:03:02.020 in recent months, Drea Humphrey has joined our team in Vancouver. She's doing a great job.
00:03:08.460 Tamara Ugolini, we found her as a client of our Fight the Fines campaign. And even within the
00:03:16.240 company, here at the office, Andrew Cipatos and Mocha Beziergan have started to spread their wings
00:03:22.200 and fly on TV. Today, I'll show you the best of our new rebel talent. I'm so hopeful for these people.
00:03:29.980 And who knows, in the weeks and months ahead, maybe we'll grow even more. Today, the best of the new
00:03:38.140 rebels.
00:03:50.360 I'm Drea Humphrey with Rebel News. And just like with most things, there are two sides of the story
00:03:55.660 in regards to the camp that goes by the name of Camp KT. K standing for Kennedy and T for Trudeau.
00:04:03.860 Since the encampment first formed in Strathcona Park around June 15th, the size has been growing
00:04:09.640 at a rapid pace. What used to be just a few dozen tents is now easily pushing 300. The city has provided
00:04:16.960 porta-potties and a misting station despite the fact that many of the tax-paying residents
00:04:22.720 want to see the tent city gone, removed. Now, in this tweet, a man who recently moved to the area
00:04:30.140 describes the park as having gone from stunning to a disaster and says that he counted at least 100
00:04:37.320 needles around the area in just a short 10-minute walk. Needles are not the only safety concern. Some
00:04:45.040 worry about increased crime in the area. CBC reported that city councillor Pete Fry was walking his dog
00:04:52.040 and ended up intervening between a man who was being hostile to a local resident named Kimberly
00:04:58.540 Allen. The man didn't like that Allen had asked him to leave while he was allegedly preparing to use
00:05:05.140 drugs on her neighbor's steps. The man then threatened to stab city councillor Frye and it was all caught
00:05:12.460 on video. Now, some Camp KT residents and even surrounding neighbors report a completely different
00:05:22.320 atmosphere than what I just mentioned. One that more closely resembles a peaceful group of people
00:05:28.960 simply down and out on their luck deserving of aid from the government for simple necessities like
00:05:35.200 housing and food. On June 27th, an all-day Camp KT block party was thrown, according to CAP
00:05:42.640 Project Facebook page. Camp residents and the surrounding neighbors were invited, including children,
00:05:48.880 to all celebrate and partake in family-friendly activities. Now, as you saw in my last video,
00:05:56.080 homelessness in Vancouver has been on the rise. Global News reported that the number of people
00:06:02.800 experiencing homelessness in the area has hit its highest level in nearly two decades and that was
00:06:10.720 pre-pandemic. So, what is the city doing to help the people in this tent city to find more permanent
00:06:17.920 source of food and shelter and to give the neighbors around the area a sigh of relief? Well, it appears not
00:06:26.720 that much. A new bylaw was put into place by VOTE that would allow the campers to set up every night
00:06:34.400 around dusk and then pack their stuff up and leave by 7 a.m. Now, I'm going to take you with me around
00:06:40.480 7 30 a.m. and you can see for yourself if the bylaw is being enforced and if anything's being enforced,
00:06:48.480 who's it being enforced by? The lack of response from local government has caused some of the home
00:06:56.400 owning Strathcona residents to take matters into their own hands by organizing a tax revolt. They
00:07:04.160 are planning to refrain from paying their property taxes until the city addresses the demands of the
00:07:10.080 camp and finds a resolution. Social justice lawyer and Strathcona resident Jamie McLaren is helping to
00:07:17.440 organize the tax revolt. McLaren told me that he is currently working on the community declaration
00:07:23.280 of intent to withhold the taxes, which should be up sometime this week. A previous list of camp KT
00:07:31.120 demands circulating online suggests that returning the land to Indigenous people and providing 600 square
00:07:37.680 feet units with kitchens and no guest restrictions for camp residents to live in may be part of the revolt
00:07:44.640 conditions. So now that you've got some background info, I'm going to take you with me to the camp so
00:07:51.760 you can see what it was like to report there and what it's currently like to live there. This looks like
00:07:58.000 the entryway here. We've got some guidelines up here for safe play. I don't know if there's a lot of kids
00:08:04.080 playing in the area. Let's have a look. Good morning. A little set up here.
00:08:16.480 Got some tents in here. Apparently this is the kitchen and there's the sign there. I thought it was
00:08:22.240 KT community. I knew that's what it was called. Okay, so our friend over here. Let's see.
00:08:35.600 Okay, so are we in the kitchen? No, it's right there. Okay, back here. This is just
00:08:42.320 to put a lot of sandwiches in and all other stuff. You can just put stuff here. You need to go help
00:08:47.680 yourself. Oh nice. Hello, how are you guys? I'm with Rebel News. That's the kitchen. Oh nice. Yeah.
00:08:58.000 I'm Dre Humphrey with Rebel News and we're just seeing what KT Camp wants the, not the world, but
00:09:04.480 Canada to know. And we're talking about the tax revolt. Have you guys heard about that? No. I can
00:09:12.720 go get who's in charge of this camp. Sure. But it would be great if you could not film around because
00:09:18.080 these are people's homes. So just wait until we can speak with the leader of this camp because yeah,
00:09:25.120 it's people living here. Sure. It's a public park though, right? It's homes. It's homes. Yeah.
00:09:31.680 I'll be very respectful, but it is a park, right? Okay. So it would be great if you could not film
00:09:36.880 people personally. Okay. Well, the gentleman was actually, he invited me in here and I had permission.
00:09:42.320 Very clever touch. The black. The black is a clever touch. This is, this is a public park,
00:09:47.680 doesn't it? But it's native land. Yeah. I'm actually indigenous too. That's what it is. I'm black and
00:09:52.320 indigenous. No, you're black. You're not indigenous. No, excuse you. Stop, stop, stop. Oh, apparently he knows
00:09:57.520 who I am more than I do. No, um, yeah. I know you're not native Indian. Stop. That's not true.
00:10:04.240 Stop. Go away. Okay. Um, I'll go speak with the leader of this camp until then it would be great
00:10:10.720 if you could just refrain from filming people and filming. Okay. Well, I'll keep filming. This is
00:10:15.520 journalism. This is Canada. I'm allowed to film, but I will be very respectful and I'd love to speak to
00:10:20.240 whoever's running the camp. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Yeah. So I spoke with the leader. She's on her way.
00:10:26.480 Okay. Um, but first we need you to do protocol at our sacred fire. Oh, okay. Okay. So what is that?
00:10:33.040 That's putting tobacco in as an offering to the sacred fire. Um, that's over on this side. An offering
00:10:39.680 to the sacred fire. That sounds like religious, right? It's indigenous. Yeah. Okay. So I'm indigenous,
00:10:47.200 but I'm Christian. Okay. So do I have to, am I forced to practice a different religion to be here
00:10:52.720 in this public park or? Yeah. On stolen land, this is the protocol that we use here. Okay. Everyone
00:10:59.760 that comes by is asked to put tobacco in the fire regardless of religion. Um, there's many people who
00:11:06.320 are religious of different religions that come to do protocol. It's being respectful to our elder who is
00:11:12.320 here keeping the sacred fire. So, okay. So, so just to, so I understand, is the fire representative of
00:11:22.720 some sort of, um, like spiritual God? Am I doing some sort of offering to something or? It's a prayer
00:11:30.240 fire. So that can be to whatever God that you are praying to. It's a prayer fire. It's not definite on
00:11:37.600 any kind of God or religion. Okay. All right. It's good to know, right? What I'm doing before I'm
00:11:43.040 signing up for it. And where is the fire? Hi. The fire's over there. How are you? I'm Dre Humphrey
00:11:48.880 with Rebel News and apparently there's a whole protocol I was supposed to do and I'm not aware of.
00:11:54.400 Um, and I was just asking. We're on, I'm seeing an indigenous land and this is an indigenous-led,
00:11:59.760 um, peer-involved, community-supported, and very lastly and loosely government-supported community
00:12:07.280 that is holding up the people that Canada, the provinces, the territories, and municipalities
00:12:13.120 of Canada choose to leave behind every day. And that's why I'm here. So if people want to come in
00:12:18.720 and offer us things, other media have come in and brought in things like water and food and done
00:12:26.000 protocol. And we ask, who are you? Where are you from? What are you bringing to our community?
00:12:33.680 And if you are going to be a witness to the ceremony going on here, you need to participate in it. And if
00:12:40.720 you don't, you need to stay out. That goes for Global. That goes for CBC. There's certain reporters
00:12:47.520 who have chosen not to do it and they've had to stay out. I don't care about the reporters
00:12:52.320 right now. You don't care about me? I don't care about reporters. I care about the people that they
00:12:58.080 stand behind. But yeah, I'd have to know a lot more about doing a tobacco offering in a fire.
00:13:04.160 Then you want to go. Sorry? Then you want to go. Then I want to go. Yeah, you don't want to be here.
00:13:10.480 Because I won't do it. This is a community of people that have all made the same, the same choice to be
00:13:16.880 here. And if you don't want to do the same thing, then maybe, then I suggest you don't want to be here.
00:13:23.440 Okay. Well, I can speak for myself and actually I do want to be here. I'm just not comfortable doing
00:13:28.320 Then you don't, then I'm not comfortable with you coming into this community either, who have all
00:13:34.320 agreed to do this very simple thing of putting some, uh, what is known as, as I am an Indian,
00:13:42.240 Indian genius person. I would, I ask everyone to come into this community and participate in a way
00:13:51.120 that, uh, helps all of us. And certainly me as an Indian to, uh, simply put some, uh, tobacco in that
00:14:00.000 fire. It's mainly an education thing. I would have to understand it more to want to do it. Then go away
00:14:05.440 and come back when you're ready to be educated because I, I believe that you're not in any way
00:14:11.680 ready for any of that. So thank you ladies. I think we had a really good chat. You too as well.
00:14:18.720 Okay. All right. Thank you.
00:14:23.520 Okay. So I'm getting the boot because I'm getting a whole spiritual vibe and I'm not sure what it is.
00:14:28.160 And I'm not entirely comfortable, um, doing something. It doesn't matter that I'm black and
00:14:33.440 indigenous. I'm not welcome on the land unless I conform or, or whatever. So, um, I will look it up
00:14:42.000 and try to get a better understanding on if it's towards some God or anything like that. I don't
00:14:47.680 know. I just needed more time, but I wasn't allowed to, uh, look into it or watch or basically we're
00:14:54.880 getting the boot, but that's okay. Here with Rebel News, I'm Tamara Ugolini in what is coined as the
00:15:01.600 feel-good town of Cobourg, Ontario. Here locally, the medical officer of health, Lynn Noseworthy,
00:15:07.920 has implemented a mask mandate for the Kawartha-Halliburton-Pine Ridge region and seems to
00:15:14.320 come as of yesterday after all cases have been declared resolved by the same health unit within
00:15:21.280 Northumberland County. So the group here behind me is opposing this mask mandate and questioning the
00:15:28.320 justification for such a mask mandate given that all cases have been resolved and all 25 cases
00:15:35.120 resolved. Uh, they are petitioning our local MPP to end the mask mandate. So we'll head on into the
00:15:41.440 crowd and see what they have to say. Hey, I see that you have these cards, um, printed out here
00:15:47.840 available. Do you mind telling me a little bit about what's happening on the table? We printed out the
00:15:53.120 cards so we could add some legitimacy to the group as opposed to just more random handwritten signs
00:15:59.920 and something that you can hand to people to present enumerated facts to them so they can
00:16:05.280 understand better what their civil liberties are. And so if they want to stand up and fight against
00:16:10.160 these things, they'll be educated so they can do that. Hey there, I'm doing some coverage of the
00:16:15.760 local event here today. So you're out here offering free, free face masks. Yeah. Can you attest to why you've
00:16:21.760 decided to do this? Uh, this is a counter protest to the anti-mask movement. Oh, okay. So do you make
00:16:28.320 the masks or where do they come from? I make them myself and then I also have disposable ones for
00:16:32.640 people that don't want handmade ones. Oh, great. Okay. So is there a specific fabric or what is the
00:16:37.440 science behind the, the use of, uh, certain fabrics or the microns I think it is that they filter out?
00:16:45.680 So, um, as a sewer and someone interested in fashion, natural fabrics such as cotton and linen would be
00:16:53.520 your best bet for masks. And do you know what the filtering capacity is of those fabrics? Um, no.
00:17:00.160 Well, my name is Ron Mitchell. I worked for OPG for close to 38 years and over 30 of those years I
00:17:06.720 worked in developing personal protective equipment. I heard what was going on here and I thought I'd come
00:17:11.680 down and if somebody wanted a little bit of different information, I might be the guy can
00:17:16.880 supply it. I would say roughly 70% of the air that you're breathing in your lungs is not going through
00:17:22.800 the mask. 30% or less is actually going through the mask. So tell me again what is protecting you
00:17:28.000 from the virus because the air is going down by your nose in the two big open holes in your cheeks
00:17:32.960 and a couple of holes down here. So the virus is bypassing the mask. Hi, are you going to purchase
00:17:38.720 some masks from this woman here? I've already got a dozen masks. One for every outfit? No,
00:17:45.840 just trying to find one that's comfortable that you can breathe through all the time. That's right,
00:17:50.080 yes. And we have a crowd here that's protesting the mask mandate. How do you feel about that?
00:17:55.920 Well, I mean, I don't like wearing a seatbelt either, but I have to wear a seatbelt. A lot of people are
00:18:00.640 glad to have some information presented to them because it's not presented certainly in the media,
00:18:06.560 certainly the mainstream media. So there are a lot of people hungry for it. So that's another reason
00:18:12.320 why we chose to go this route. Hey there, these people here are protesting the mask mandate. What
00:18:18.160 do you think about that? Are you allowed to swear? Well, we'd rather not. That's what I thought.
00:18:26.800 I wear it because I have to wear it for my own safety and everyone else's. But I'm not happy with it,
00:18:32.240 no. Do you think that they should have the right to stand out here and oppose a mandate or choose
00:18:37.680 what's right for their body? I just, I'm all about everybody being safe, so that's all I care about.
00:18:45.600 Yeah, so I would much rather not wear it, but I will because I'm told to. Okay, all right. We're pushed
00:18:53.840 into it, so we have to, right? Hey there, there's a protest happening about the mask mandates. Do you
00:18:58.560 have anything to say about it? Yeah. The misspellings on the sides. Yeah, I think, I think they're
00:19:02.880 idiots. Okay. I could say a lot worse, you'd be bleeping me out. Unfortunately, you cannot legislate
00:19:09.360 against stupidity. And one of them is smoking, but it's all right to smoke and pollute the air,
00:19:15.040 but it's not all right for me to wear a mask. And as for anti-vaccines, I have no words fail,
00:19:21.440 all words fail me. My message is you don't have to agree with it, but it's the law. And I was brought up to
00:19:27.520 to obey the law. How can you trust the government? I absolutely don't. I cannot trust them. You have
00:19:34.000 to make your own decisions and your choices. And you have to be here to put your voice forward,
00:19:40.880 you know, because otherwise we have no choice. We have no chance to getting our freedom back.
00:19:45.840 I object to these signs in those beautiful planters. After all, our tax money paid for those planters,
00:19:52.880 not for them. And then, and as far as I'm concerned, it's absolutely insulting to put
00:19:57.360 our flag upside down. We're fighting for the freedom of our country. We're fighting for
00:20:01.360 freedom of our children, our grandchildren, you know, I mean, this is such an important issue.
00:20:06.320 They're being paid $2,000 a month to sit on their ass and do this, is my opinion. And then they paraded,
00:20:13.760 last time I saw them, down the street, down the harbour, over the rocks, and stood at the beach.
00:20:19.360 When the beach has been closed to everybody else. But they're just, they're just flaunting the law.
00:20:24.480 That's all it is. What I would like to tell the general public, instead of spending so much time
00:20:28.800 listening to these political hacks, and these people that are put in certain positions with power,
00:20:33.280 that really haven't got a clue what's going on. Instead of listening to them, start doing a little
00:20:37.760 bit of research. Read the other side of the page, instead of just the front page. Hi there. I see that you,
00:20:43.040 you agree to the signs here with, with these individuals. Do you mind saying a few words? Well darling, I'm a
00:20:47.360 criminologist. I used to, I'm retired. And, and I, I agree 150% with what you guys are saying.
00:20:53.680 But our biggest problem is in society is no matter, excuse me, I'm not going to swear anything,
00:20:57.520 because I'll keep it clean. People are dumbified. And no matter how much we scream and yell,
00:21:03.360 and no matter how much noise we make, nobody's going to listen. And what I tell people is just
00:21:06.960 do your own thing. Do your own thing. If you feel masks are a bad thing, don't wear a mask.
00:21:10.960 You know what I mean? If you think our government sucks, that's your opinion. But don't follow,
00:21:16.880 be leaders, not followers, man. Use your common sense, cognitive skills. You know what I mean?
00:21:21.840 No matter God, what God we believe in, we've been given cognitive skills for a reason. And that's
00:21:26.320 called common sense and life experiences. I think that people need to find their voice,
00:21:31.600 that their voice matters. They need to do their research. And they, they need to speak the truth
00:21:37.440 to anybody they get an opportunity to in whatever position, higher position, neighbors, whatever.
00:21:42.880 You can't just be silent and accept this situation because it's not going to get better.
00:21:47.600 Is it fair to say that you are not overly impressed with the transparency that's been given out by
00:21:52.560 our governing officials during this time? I haven't been impressed with the government with
00:21:56.560 let it be transparency, let it be the way of life, or the way this country is even being run.
00:22:01.680 But unfortunately, we can't do nothing about it. You know, we're supposed to be in a democracy.
00:22:06.480 Everybody says to us, we live in a country where there's a democracy. What's the definition of
00:22:09.760 democracy? Majority of consent to be ruled by a minority. I don't remember the last time they
00:22:15.680 sent me something in the mail and said, hey, Mr. Gragowski, do you agree with this? And do you
00:22:20.240 say yay or nay? Okay. So in my opinion, do we live in a democracy? No. Again, just like the
00:22:24.880 Charter on Rights and Freedoms. That's the biggest bunch of bulls because of my law enforcement background.
00:22:29.600 Okay. So again, society, unfortunately, has been dumbified and we're getting more
00:22:34.400 dumbified as we advance. We're supposed to be a society that evolves. We're not evolving.
00:22:41.040 Do you have a message or anything you'd like to say to Lynn Noseworthy or any of our elected officials,
00:22:46.960 David Puccini, Mayor Henderson? I would like them to spend more time
00:22:55.360 concerned about the civil liberties issue. Because as soon as we lose our civil liberties,
00:23:00.720 there's not much left after that. And it doesn't seem to me that they really concern themselves much
00:23:07.120 with that issue. They seem to just bypass and gloss right over their civil liberties.
00:23:11.760 Fight for your sovereignty. Fight for your freedom. Fight for your rights. Fight for what belongs to you
00:23:19.120 as an individual. Absolutely. Just be you. Don't follow. Be leaders. Be leaders. We, again, like I said,
00:23:26.880 no matter how much noise we make, nobody listens. Nobody cares. So you know what? Do your own thing.
00:23:33.040 If you want to go out with your family, go to the beach, go nuts. You want to go for a nice drive?
00:23:36.800 Go nuts. You want to go for a nice walk? Go for a nice walk. Do not download apps that they're asking
00:23:43.040 you to download. Okay. Because in my opinion, that's a waste of time. It's a nice way of tracking people.
00:23:47.520 All right. So we've seen a collective group of individuals here opposing the mask mandate locally.
00:23:54.240 The mainstream media will have them painted as a bunch of grandma killing lunatics when in fact,
00:24:00.880 many of them are grandmas who are concerned about the way society and our government overreach is
00:24:07.200 going for their children and their grandchildren. From Nike to Amazon all the way up to the video games
00:24:12.880 you play now, Black Lives Matter messaging has infiltrated the corporate world whether it's
00:24:17.040 needed or not. Of course, it most often isn't. Red Bull may be the first company to realize this.
00:24:22.880 Earlier this week, the energy drink giant fired two of their most woke executives,
00:24:27.120 their chief executive, Stefan Kozak, along with the chief marketing officer, Amy Taylor,
00:24:31.520 both from the North American team, both replaced. According to the other employees,
00:24:35.920 these quote, culture teams were the most vocal about racial justice matters. According to the Wall
00:24:41.200 Street Journal, Taylor was met with opposition when she began advocating for Red Bull to be more
00:24:46.320 overt in its support of social justice in the last month, according to people familiar with the
00:24:50.720 matter. This came after more than 300 employees signed a letter expressing concern about the
00:24:55.120 company's response to Black Lives Matter, asking for internal action and criticizing the company's
00:25:00.160 quote, public silence. The letter titled Representation Matters at Red Bull,
00:25:05.200 among many ridiculous things, said the following, quote,
00:25:08.000 As we say nothing, we are abandoning the communities we claim to support and foster
00:25:12.000 in their times of greatest need. Absence during a time that demands action reveals purported support
00:25:17.040 as nothing more than exploitation, end quote. What does that mean? Well, of course it means
00:25:21.600 what it always means, support my politics, make statements, and give money to organizations that I
00:25:26.560 like. With a title like Representation Matters, you'd have to assume that means race-based hiring
00:25:31.600 practices as well. In his reply to the letter, the aforementioned Kozak, the chief executive,
00:25:36.800 of course, agreed, supporting their communist takeover, saying, regarding the current uprising,
00:25:41.760 I share these views and I applaud those who peacefully and courageously have made their voices
00:25:45.520 heard. Another internal memo from the head of communications offered more condolences,
00:25:50.240 but that, of course, was not enough. The company took it a step further, saying that Red Bull
00:25:55.200 will enforce black representation in everything we do and direct resources to the efforts of existing
00:26:00.720 and new partners focused on equality in cities across the United States. Oh, there we go. If you
00:26:06.160 shut up, we will give you money to your preferred political organizations. Funny enough, a graffiti
00:26:10.880 artist and b-boy named Joel Martinez, who participated in Red Bull's BC1 breakdancing competition, provided a
00:26:17.680 statement to Business Insider stating that he was upset about a hashtag Blackout Tuesday post that Red Bull
00:26:23.840 shared on June 2nd. Oh, you know, the day where celebrities and corporations posted a black square
00:26:29.200 to eliminate racial inequality, aka to win brownie points with the woke brigade. Martinez asked,
00:26:35.600 Why didn't Red Bull use the phrase Black Lives Matter? I'm not making this up. He is upset about
00:26:40.560 the square. He continued, This is a paradigm shift. All people wanting a better world is what the
00:26:45.440 protests are about, he said. Why would Red Bull not stand behind that? Just do what we say,
00:26:50.240 give us power, and give us money. What's so hard about that? It's always the same thing,
00:26:55.040 we've come to realize. That letter was addressed to the executives who were no longer working with the
00:26:59.280 company. Clearly they were causing more harm than good at Red Bull, and I applaud Red Bull for this
00:27:05.120 action, and hope that others will follow suit. But why would I want that? For this simple reason.
00:27:10.560 Why does anyone need an energy drink brand to make statements siding with their political views?
00:27:15.600 Well, because it keeps working. Everywhere else it works, so why not get some social clout and ask for
00:27:20.560 yourself? You might get famous off of it. AOC might tweet about you. Imagine for a second employee at
00:27:26.800 Starbucks said, Hey, I need you to give money to the NRA. I don't feel safe here at Starbucks.
00:27:32.000 Gun owner representation matters. They'd be laughed at and fired. Called out on social media,
00:27:37.600 ruining their lives. Radical right-wing gun owners are infiltrating corporations and making employees
00:27:42.960 feel unsafe. It practically writes itself. You can see the Buzzfeed headline in your mind.
00:27:47.680 Think about why things only go one way and try to stop it. From both sides even. Question these people.
00:27:52.960 Ask for an explanation. They're never forced to give their answers. Chances are, they don't even have an
00:27:58.240 answer. They're just copying and pasting something they saw elsewhere. And they want the praise.
00:28:02.880 They want the power. That's where the problem lies. You know, it's fascinating. You know,
00:28:09.520 Ezra has had his experience with the government being interrogated for writing a book. I was slightly,
00:28:16.080 mildly interrogated by a police officer for, or a former police officer for also writing a book.
00:28:22.400 But you were basically just a kid doing things that kids do, making fun of religion, making fun of
00:28:30.400 government, making fun of grown-ups. Yeah. And some snitch reported you to the police,
00:28:37.840 and you were interrogated for making fun of Erdogan. What was that like?
00:28:42.720 Well, it wasn't so much intense because I was, I'm kind of famous in Turkey, and police officers knew me,
00:28:51.440 and they were kind of friendly with me. And they said, when they looked at the crime, they were like,
00:28:57.440 yeah, like, this is not, this isn't, why are we wasting our time? But it's the formal procedure,
00:29:03.360 so I had to fill the paper. I explained my intentions. I said my intent, because I was being,
00:29:10.000 um, they reported me for inflicting hatred among, amongst public, and making fun of religion.
00:29:18.880 That's illegal. It's like the hate speech laws in Canada. And, um, at that time, around 2017,
00:29:27.200 I knew about Rebel News, and I knew how, what was happening in the college campuses. I was watching
00:29:32.880 all these videos, and I was kind of encouraged to not step back. I continued to do videos, and
00:29:40.160 when police, when I went to the police station, I wasn't scared, because I knew I wasn't, I didn't do
00:29:46.160 anything wrong. I was just a kid making fun. But ultimately, after all, I decided to move to Canada,
00:29:56.400 move back to Canada, because it's a better country. It's, it's more free. People are more open-minded.
00:30:01.600 And when I went to high school in Turkey, I remembered, like, I had the chance to, um,
00:30:12.160 like, see the Turkish schools, and the Canadian schools, and how the teachers would, um, treat you.
00:30:18.720 And, uh, in Turkish schools, it's a little bit more authoritarian. Even though I was able
00:30:24.720 to get into a good standing school in Turkey, um, in high school, the principal there told me to cut
00:30:34.000 my hair. And at that time, my hair was not even long, maybe just a little bit. But that's not okay,
00:30:40.080 because they want to control how you dress, how long your hair can be, what can you say on social media.
00:30:49.520 So, when he told me to cut my hair or else, I said, no, I'm not cutting my hair. And since then,
00:30:57.280 it's been five years now, I didn't stop. I've been growing my hair. And I, I've never, I've never
00:31:03.680 wore a school uniform. And they didn't, they couldn't do anything about that. And that's my story. I,
00:31:11.680 I'm, uh, I have a rebellious soul. And I saw that rebellious soul in Ezra Levant, because I know
00:31:20.640 he was the only person in Canada that published those Danish cartoons. And that was, that's
00:31:28.000 courageous because at that time, no other news organizations, they couldn't publish it. And
00:31:34.320 I know how much it's offensive to some people, those cartoons. And I said, hey, Ezra Levant is a big
00:31:44.240 journalist. He has a channel. And actually, I didn't join the rebel news by that way. I joined
00:31:51.840 rebel news because I met one of the video editors that was working for rebel news. And that's how I
00:31:58.960 joined. Yeah. Isn't that funny? Isn't your long journey of rebellion made you a rebel. I think that's
00:32:07.520 fantastic. Um, and yes, you're, you came to us through our beloved Efron, one of our video editors
00:32:16.880 and videographers, and boy, you two have been such a great addition to the company.
00:32:21.840 Hi, everyone. Lisa song set in here. I'm getting ready to partake in one of my favorite activities,
00:32:28.480 Sunday gun day. I'm excited to break in my brand new SIG Sauer P365, which I recently purchased as a new
00:32:36.700 everyday concealed carry. And we're also going to practice shooting some other firearms, which I'll
00:32:42.140 show you as we go. Hey guys, so I just wanted to show the difference. Um, so this is the P365 and this
00:32:49.900 is the P229 both by SIG Sauer. Um, and as you can see, I mean, the size difference is not only significant,
00:32:57.180 but also for someone like myself, I have smaller hands and being a petite woman, you can see the width
00:33:03.580 on the grips. It's completely different and it makes a huge impact when you're training and wanting
00:33:12.220 to use a firearm that you feel totally comfortable with in any scenario. All right. So this is a Knight's
00:33:21.100 Armament SR 15. Let's see how it goes.
00:33:34.220 Oh, a cheese.
00:33:51.100 So next up we have an FN Herstal 57 and it shoots a 5.7 28 millimeter bullet. Let's check it out.
00:34:05.020 Target practice and just practicing overall with your firearm is so important. You want to feel
00:34:10.700 comfortable with whatever firearms you may have for personal and home protection. And the only way
00:34:15.660 to become very proficient is by engaging in consistent practice. Thanks for tuning in. I'll
00:34:22.380 definitely be sharing more firearms content soon. And remember, practice makes perfect. If you ever
00:34:28.140 have any questions, feel free to hit me up on social media at Lisa song setting.
00:34:32.700 Hey, what do you think of our new rebels? Pretty, pretty good. I'm excited about them. Each one of them
00:34:49.980 is a fighter. Don't you think? Well, that's it for today. Until Monday, on behalf of all of us here
00:34:56.380 at rebel world headquarters to you at home. Goodbye and keep fighting for freedom.
