00:00:00.000 President Biden's policies blow up prices, panic buying hits the southeast as the gas runs out, and Liz Cheney's firefight with the GOP is everything the media could hope for.
00:00:08.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:08.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:10.000 This show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.
00:00:17.000 It's time to stand up to Big Tech.
00:00:18.000 Protect your data at ExpressVPN.com.
00:00:21.000 Slash Ben will get to all the news in just one moment.
00:00:23.000 First, you've heard it said there are only two sure things in life, death and taxes.
00:00:26.000 Well, there is a third sure thing, and that is you are paying too much money if you are getting your cell phone coverage from Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile.
00:00:32.000 Instead, switch on over to Pure Talk USA.
00:00:35.000 Switching to Pure Talk will save you money.
00:00:36.000 In fact, Pure Talk saves the average family for over $800 a year.
00:00:40.000 Here is the best part.
00:00:41.000 You don't have to sacrifice coverage because it's on the exact same network as one of those big providers.
00:00:45.000 Friends, switching is super easy.
00:00:46.000 You can keep your phone, keep your number, or you can get huge discounts on the latest iPhones and Androids.
00:00:50.000 Right now, you can get unlimited talk, text, and six gigs of data for just 30 bucks a month.
00:00:55.000 And if you go over on data, they're not gonna charge you for it.
00:00:57.000 Just one of the many reasons they've been named the top wireless provider by Consumer Affairs.
00:01:01.000 From your cell phone, dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro.
00:01:04.000 You will save 50% off your very first month.
00:01:07.000 That is pound 250, say Ben Shapiro.
00:01:08.000 And when you go to one of the big cell phone coverage providers, they will just not really be very clear about what it is that you are buying.
00:01:15.000 They give you these kind of opaque answers as to what it is you get.
00:01:17.000 Not so at Pure Talk USA.
00:01:19.000 You get unlimited talk tech, six gigs of data for 30 bucks a month.
00:01:21.000 And again, if you go over on that data, they're not going to charge you for it.
00:01:24.000 So you got nothing to lose.
00:01:25.000 From your cell phone, dial pound 250 and say Ben Shapiro to get started.
00:01:27.000 You'll save 50% off your first month and hundreds more down the road.
00:01:31.000 Alrighty, so the federal government is now admitting that inflation has set in.
00:01:36.000 According to CNBC.com, inflation in April accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years.
00:01:42.000 As the U.S.
00:01:42.000 economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher, the Labor Department reported on Wednesday, the Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2 percent from a year earlier.
00:01:55.000 A Dow Jones survey had expected a 3.6% increase.
00:01:57.000 This is actually even higher.
00:01:58.000 The month-to-month gain was 0.8% against the expected 0.2% excluding volatile food and energy prices.
00:02:05.000 Core CPI increased 3% from the same period in 2020 and 0.9% on a monthly basis.
00:02:10.000 So all you have to do to get to that Slightly less alarming number is exclude the two biggest costs that people generally take on, food and energy.
00:02:18.000 The respective estimates were now 2.3% and 0.3%.
00:02:22.000 The increase in the annual headline CPI rate was the fastest since September of 2008.
00:02:27.000 Well, the monthly gain in core inflation was the largest since 1981.
00:02:30.000 Okay, so this is the largest core inflation that we've had, month over month, in 40 years.
00:02:36.000 And we're supposed to be like, okay with this, apparently.
00:02:38.000 Energy prices overall jumped 25% from a year earlier, including a 49.6% increase for gasoline and 37.3% for fuel oil.
00:02:46.000 That came even though most energy categories saw a decline in April.
00:02:48.000 Prices at the pump, which fell 1.4% in April, have resumed their climb in May, with the national average eclipsing $3 a gallon.
00:02:54.000 And remember, this was All before the Colonial Pipeline shutdown.
00:02:58.000 Okay, so that massive increase in energy costs was before the Colonial Pipeline shutdown.
00:03:04.000 Used car and truck prices, which are seen as a key inflation indicator because, frankly, the prices generally stay pretty stable with used cars and trucks.
00:03:10.000 Instead, they surged 21%, including a 10% increase in April alone.
00:03:15.000 Shelter, another key CPI component, was up 2.1% year-over-year and 0.4% for the month.
00:03:22.000 In addition to rising prices, one of the main reasons for the big annual gain was because of base effects, meaning inflation was pretty low in 2020 because of the shutdown of the U.S.
00:03:29.000 economy.
00:03:30.000 But if you look at the chart, what you see is this radical increase over the last couple of months.
00:03:34.000 Not a steady increase, this radical increase over the last couple of months in the inflation rate.
00:03:39.000 And this is accompanied by the fact that federal taxes, spending, and the deficit all set records through the first seven months of fiscal 2021.
00:03:47.000 Federal tax revenues have hit a record $2.1 trillion for the period.
00:03:51.000 Federal spending climbed to $4 trillion just for the last seven months, resulting in a federal deficit of nearly $2 trillion over the last seven months alone.
00:03:59.000 While the historical October through April tax revenues are adjusted for inflation into April 2021 dollars, the second highest tax revenues of the October through April period came in fiscal 2018.
00:04:09.000 That year, the Treasury collected $2.1 trillion in total tax revenues in the first seven months.
00:04:15.000 When you actually adjust those numbers, the October through April spending numbers, into April 2021 dollars, the second highest spending during that period came in fiscal 2020.
00:04:24.000 So we are just blowing out the spending, we are blowing out the taxation, and we are blowing out the deficit.
00:04:30.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden has no idea what the hell is going on.
00:04:32.000 You know, it's funny.
00:04:33.000 When the Biden administration came into office, the media not only celebrated because Trump was out, but they said, competence is back.
00:04:38.000 These people are so unbelievably competent.
00:04:41.000 No, they're not.
00:04:42.000 No, they're not.
00:04:43.000 Okay, the great lie of American politics is that American politics resembles House of Cards.
00:04:47.000 There's a bunch of very clever people in Washington, D.C.
00:04:49.000 who are manipulating the system, who have plans.
00:04:52.000 These plans pan out.
00:04:53.000 Wrong.
00:04:54.000 Okay, all of American politics is like Veep or In the Loop.
00:04:57.000 All of American politics is a bunch of morons running around at top speed, crashing into each other to the Benny Hill music.
00:05:02.000 That's all politics is.
00:05:04.000 Okay, just like in your own business, how many really smart people are there in your business?
00:05:08.000 The answer is like seven.
00:05:09.000 Okay, how many really smart people are there in American politics?
00:05:12.000 Like seven, out of millions.
00:05:13.000 Okay, and they are never at the top of the American government.
00:05:16.000 The American government is filled with dullards.
00:05:17.000 And not only dullards, incompetents.
00:05:19.000 And incompetents who have been boosted in their incompetence for literally their entire lives.
00:05:23.000 I mean, Joe Biden has not spent a moment outside of elected office, except for when he was in VP for like five minutes, since he was 30 years old.
00:05:32.000 Okay, which means that he has been on the taxpayer dole.
00:05:34.000 He is significantly less useful as a person than many people who are on welfare for that period of time.
00:05:39.000 He's on taxpayer dollars too, and he's been useless that entire time.
00:05:42.000 When he's not reversing himself or pushing bad policy, he just is running around incompetently flailing.
00:05:47.000 Okay, so that's what he was doing yesterday.
00:05:48.000 We've got inflation that is starting to kick in.
00:05:50.000 It is purely due to the fact that he's blowing money into the U.S.
00:05:53.000 economy at record rates.
00:05:54.000 We did this last year.
00:05:55.000 We did it.
00:05:56.000 Thanks to a pandemic.
00:05:57.000 Now we don't have a pandemic anymore.
00:05:58.000 The pandemic is coming to an end.
00:06:00.000 Everyone except for the CDC acknowledges this and knows this.
00:06:04.000 And yet he is still trying to usher in a period in which you spend $10 trillion.
00:06:08.000 He's proposed not only the $4 trillion budget, but three separate $2 trillion bills on top of that.
00:06:14.000 How do you think we are going to pay for that?
00:06:16.000 He says, we're going to do it through increased taxation.
00:06:18.000 We're not going to do it through increased taxation.
00:06:20.000 All of his tax measurements are taken over the course of 15 years and all the spending is done over the course of eight years.
00:06:24.000 That's not how any of this works.
00:06:26.000 If you are going to measure tax revenues against the spending, you have to take the same period of time.
00:06:31.000 That's like saying, well, you know, I'm really not blowing out the deficit because in the next six months, I'm going to spend a million dollars.
00:06:36.000 But you know, in the next five years, I'm probably going to make a million dollars.
00:06:39.000 Yes, but there's that intervening period between six months and five years where you're going to continue spending money.
00:06:43.000 None of that makes any sense.
00:06:45.000 It's not going to be through tax money.
00:06:46.000 It's going to be through financing via the Federal Reserve.
00:06:49.000 OK, all that is happening right now is that the United States is blowing out the deficit and the Federal Reserve is blowing credit into the system.
00:06:55.000 We have maintained a zero percent interest rate despite the fact that we are now in a growth period.
00:07:01.000 We are superheating the American economy, we are superheating the American dollar, and we are inflating prices.
00:07:06.000 That's all that is happening right now.
00:07:07.000 And we are creating an artificial scarcity of labor.
00:07:10.000 We are paying people to stay home.
00:07:12.000 So Joe Biden, this incompetent boob, yesterday he was asked about inflation, and he just ignored it.
00:07:17.000 I mean, I don't know whether he heard it.
00:07:19.000 There's not much going on upstairs anymore for Joe Biden.
00:07:21.000 There never was all that much going on upstairs for Joe Biden, but even Joe Biden of 2021 is not the same as Joe Biden of 2015, for example.
00:07:27.000 And again, in 2015, Joe Biden was no Great Shakes.
00:07:30.000 I mean, Barack Obama thought that Joe Biden was a dullard.
00:07:33.000 What are the rest of us supposed to think?
00:07:35.000 Here's Joe Biden.
00:07:37.000 Anyway, thank you guys.
00:07:38.000 Should Americans be worried about inflation, sir?
00:07:43.000 Bye.
00:07:44.000 Thanks.
00:07:45.000 Gotta go.
00:07:47.000 See you later.
00:07:48.000 Even some of the moderate Senate Democrats are beginning to look askance at the Democratic program here.
00:07:53.000 But not Joe Biden.
00:07:54.000 Not members of his administration.
00:07:56.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.
00:07:57.000 First, let us talk about the fact that when you walk into your home, probably you redid the floors recently, maybe you repainted, but something still looks a little dingy.
00:08:05.000 Let me note what that is.
00:08:06.000 That is your window coverings.
00:08:07.000 You didn't think about your window coverings, right?
00:08:08.000 You still got the old blinds.
00:08:09.000 You still got the old curtains.
00:08:10.000 They don't look very good.

00:09:06.000 Blinds.com, and remember to let them know you heard about them from The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:09:10.000 Okay, so.
00:09:12.000 Even Democrats are now looking askance at Joe Biden's big spending plans.
00:09:16.000 According to Politico, Senate Democrats are signaling they are unlikely to extend a $300 federal weekly unemployment benefit past September, especially if the economy continues to recover.
00:09:25.000 Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a Tuesday press conference there was overwhelming support among Democrats to keep providing the additional money to existing unemployment insurance.
00:09:33.000 But not every member of his caucus is on board, particularly after last week's weaker-than-expected April jobs report.
00:09:38.000 Senator Joe Manchin, Democrat of West Virginia, is already making it clear he will not support extending the benefits past September 6th.
00:09:44.000 He said, I'll never vote for another extension as long as I know that with the vaccines, there's not an excuse for no one to be vaccinated. I understand there's millions of jobs in America we can't fill right now. We need people back to work. There's more and more people understanding they are in trouble. Manchin had previously expressed hesitation over the benefit.
00:09:59.000 In a vote earlier this year, he backed only extending the added money until mid-July, but then he voted for the so-called American Rescue Plan, which was just blowing money into the economy for no reason.
00:10:08.000 Now, Manchin is far from alone in his concerns.
00:10:10.000 Senate Republicans won't support another extension.
00:10:12.000 I would expect that Kyrsten Sinema would be not particularly warm toward another unemployment extension.
00:10:19.000 Senator Ron Wyden, Democrat of Oregon, of course, is a radical leftist and chair of the Senate Finance Committee.
00:10:24.000 He said there had been report after report indicating it wasn't accurate that the benefits discouraged work.
00:10:28.000 Oh, weird, because actually, when you pay people to stay home, they stay home.
00:10:32.000 I mean, I know it's a giant shock to folks, but when you pay people to stay at home, they stay at home.
00:10:38.000 Meanwhile, there are other Democrats who are a little bit skeptical.
00:10:42.000 It's not just Manchin.
00:10:44.000 Several Senate Democrats said they were taking a wait-and-see strategy on the issues, adding they would need to assess the economic situation this summer and noting potential regional differences.
00:10:53.000 So that would include people like Angus King in Maine or Jon Tester in Montana.
00:10:58.000 Hey, notice that this runs very much counter to the new democratic agenda point of universal basic income.
00:11:04.000 If you felt that paying people to stay home didn't discourage work, then you would be on board for permanent extension of increased unemployment benefits.
00:11:11.000 You are not, because the reality is we don't have the money for this, and you are artificially decreasing the supply curve.
00:11:17.000 And when you do that, you're artificially increasing the price of goods.
00:11:22.000 And even Democrats in the media are starting to realize that austerity may be on the table.
00:11:27.000 Noah Smith, who writes for Bloomberg Opinion and is certainly no right-winger, he is now pointing out that there are a lot of people who are worrying about overheating of the economy.
00:11:35.000 Warren Buffett recently called the economy red-hot, said he's seeing higher prices.
00:11:38.000 Some wealth managers are starting to tell clients inflation is on the way.
00:11:41.000 Some economists like Larry Summers and Mohamed El-Erian are giving the exact same warning.
00:11:45.000 Again, all of this is what happens when you artificially decrease the labor supply and artificially increase the monetary supply.
00:11:52.000 And now, the Fed could start reining this thing in.
00:11:55.000 But they have no interest in reining this thing in.
00:11:57.000 Janet Yellen has made clear that her priorities are not keeping inflation low and keeping unemployment low.
00:12:03.000 Those were supposedly the priorities of the Federal Reserve.
00:12:06.000 Now she's the head of the U.S.
00:12:06.000 Treasury.
00:12:07.000 She says equity is the priority.
00:12:08.000 So long as there are certain groups in America that are less employed than other groups in America, she's just going to keep blowing money into the system.
00:12:14.000 It well turns out that the easiest way that you reach equality of outcome is by depressing everyone.
00:12:19.000 It is much harder to make everyone succeed at the same level than to depress everybody to the same level.
00:12:23.000 And that is precisely what is happening.
00:12:25.000 Meanwhile, this utterly incompetent administration has no answers with regard to the colonial pipeline debacle.
00:12:33.000 According to the Washington Post, a sudden fuel shortage worsened across the eastern half of the United States on Wednesday after a cyber attack crippled a major pipeline as long lines, sharp boards, and pumps gone dry greeted unhappy drivers from the Alabama foothills to the Chesapeake Bay.
00:12:46.000 I know in Florida, there are a lot of gas stations that have been running out of gas.
00:12:49.000 People have been driving gas station to gas station trying to find gas.
00:12:52.000 People across the southeast and now up into the northeast have been waiting in fuel lines very reminiscent of the 1970s.
00:12:58.000 There's a ridiculous There's a ridiculous video of a woman attempting to take plastic bags and fill them with gasoline, which prompted the transportation department to tweet out, please don't fill plastic bags with gasoline.
00:13:10.000 It's like, come on, man, this is America.
00:13:12.000 We can fill whatever we want with gasoline.
00:13:14.000 But although government and industry officials said the nation had plenty of fuel and the pipeline was set to resume operations in the evening, Nervous drivers clogged gas stations and created shortages in parts or all of 11 states.
00:13:24.000 At least 12,000 gas stations reported being completely empty.
00:13:27.000 The squeeze pushed the price of a gallon past $3, its highest in years.
00:13:31.000 Now, the Colonial Pipeline hack isn't Biden's fault.
00:13:34.000 Colonial Pipeline's a private company.
00:13:36.000 Sure, our cyber defenses need to be better.
00:13:39.000 But you can't really blame Biden for that.
00:13:40.000 What you can blame Biden for is that his basic policy has been anti-gas and oil since before he took office.
00:13:46.000 He's been pressing forward with this Green New Deal nonsense.
00:13:49.000 Which substitutes significantly inferior forms of energy in terms of efficiency for things like gas and oil.
00:13:56.000 And yesterday, you had Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm openly stating that, you know, this shortage of oil might not be a bad thing because maybe people will buy Teslas.
00:14:04.000 Yeah, it turns out not everybody can afford a Tesla.
00:14:07.000 It turns out that electric cars are very, very expensive, especially decent ones.
00:14:12.000 Hey, meanwhile, Joe Biden, for some odd reason, again, he is just not with us.
00:14:15.000 Joe Biden is untethered from reality.
00:14:18.000 Yesterday, he was asked about these gas lines, and Joe Biden started rambling nonsensically about how we need to spend more on education.
00:14:26.000 The wires got crossed or something.
00:14:28.000 Like this, this person is, he's the president of the United States and we are told he's uber competent.
00:14:34.000 He's not even competent.
00:14:35.000 I mean, I wonder if he is legally competent.
00:14:37.000 Forget about like competent to be president of the United States.
00:14:39.000 I wonder if he is legally competent at this point.
00:14:42.000 He has lost it.
00:14:42.000 He didn't have much to begin.
00:14:44.000 Here he is.
00:14:44.000 He has lost it.
00:14:45.000 What does education have to do with the colonial pipeline problems?
00:14:50.000 I think what this shows is that I think we have to make a greater investment And education as it relates to being able to train and graduate more people proficient in cyber security.
00:15:11.000 That's your takeaway?
00:15:13.000 I mean, I will give him credit.
00:15:15.000 He's able to swivel everything to let's spend more money.
00:15:17.000 So somehow, he's going to connect the hack on the grid, on the pipeline here.
00:15:25.000 He's going to connect that in some odd way with we're not spending enough money on cyber security education.
00:15:34.000 It's a take.
00:15:35.000 It's a take that makes no sense, but That's the president of the United States, man.
00:15:40.000 Meanwhile, Pete Buttigieg, the greatest of all transportation secretaries, a very important person who is excellent at transportation because the dude loves choo-choo trains.
00:15:48.000 He talks all the time about how much choo-choo trains are, you know, they make him happy.
00:15:51.000 He likes when they go choo-choo, particularly.
00:15:53.000 He loves the choo-choo train.
00:15:54.000 He also loves airports.
00:15:56.000 Airports are great and romantic.
00:15:57.000 This is what he said in his opening speech, that he's in love with transportation because he likes things that go.
00:16:02.000 They have wheels and stuff.
00:16:03.000 They're cool.
00:16:05.000 Shoot your trains in airports, for our transportation secretary who couldn't fill potholes in South Bend, but is now the transportation secretary for no reason anyone can discern.
00:16:13.000 Because he built Icetown.
00:16:14.000 He's Ben Wyatt from Parks and Recreation, this guy.
00:16:18.000 And they made him Transportation Secretary.
00:16:19.000 It's unreal.
00:16:21.000 Of course we understand the concern in the areas where people are encountering temporary supply disruptions.
00:16:27.000 But hoarding does not make things better.
00:16:29.000 And under no circumstances should gasoline ever be put into anything but a vehicle directly or an approved container.
00:16:38.000 You can see even Pete Buttigieg is sort of embarrassed by the fact that he has to say this sort of stuff.
00:16:41.000 Okay, first of all, when he says hoarding is not good for anybody, well, it's kind of good for the person who has the gas when nobody else has the gas.
00:16:46.000 I mean, to be fair, hoarding isn't bad for that person.
00:16:49.000 And meanwhile, what is the alternative that's being proposed by the Biden administration?
00:16:53.000 They have so many wonderful alternatives to oil and natural gas.
00:16:55.000 Like, for example, solar panels, right?
00:16:57.000 Solar panels have been proposed as a solution to our energy crisis.
00:17:00.000 There was John Kerr!
00:17:03.000 Yeah, we love solar panels.
00:17:07.000 Solar panels are great.
00:17:08.000 Also, they're being made with Uyghur slave labor in China.
00:17:11.000 That's unfortunate.
00:17:13.000 Xinjiang province not only produces some of the solar panels that we believe are being in some cases produced in forced labor by Uyghurs, but also there are a significant amount of rare earth mineral that's used in the solar panels themselves.
00:17:35.000 It is my understanding that the Biden administration is right now in the process of assessing Whether or not that will be the target of sanctions.
00:17:46.000 Okay, but we need the solar panels.
00:17:48.000 So, you know, sure, the solar panels we love are made by forced labor in China, but you know, you know, man, this administration, they're just a bleep show.
00:17:55.000 They really are.
00:17:56.000 Like from top to bottom, the incompetence is extraordinary.
00:17:58.000 So here's the thing about the Trump administration.
00:18:00.000 The messaging was incompetent.
00:18:02.000 The policy was not incompetent.
00:18:04.000 You know how you could tell?
00:18:05.000 In a booming economy all the way up until COVID, you had zero foreign policy crises, During the entirety of the Trump administration.
00:18:12.000 Like, think of a serious foreign policy crisis during the Trump administration.
00:18:15.000 There really wasn't one.
00:18:16.000 In the first hundred days, you have massive inflation under Joe Biden.
00:18:19.000 You have a Middle East that is blowing up, thanks specifically to Joe Biden's policy.
00:18:23.000 You have unemployment that is setting in in the middle of what should be an easy, natural economic recovery.
00:18:29.000 And you have tremendous vaccine hesitancy because these morons can't trench out their information about the vaccine properly.
00:18:36.000 Okay, the amazing thing about all of this, which I'll get into in just one second, the most amazing thing about all of this, truthfully, is that this administration, their policies, they are completely dependent, completely dependent on the old coots who can't speak three sentences.
00:18:54.000 I'll explain in just one second.
00:18:54.000 It really is.
00:18:55.000 I mean, I've called him President Houseplant before because he is just a barely alive thing hiding the water stain.
00:19:00.000 They are so dependent on Joe Biden.
00:19:01.000 It's incredible.
00:19:02.000 It's incredible.
00:19:03.000 I mean, people are pretending that Joe Biden, that he's kind of an irrelevant figure.
00:19:06.000 He's not an irrelevant figure.
00:19:07.000 He is the most relevant figure in the sense that were he to go a way tomorrow, were he to retire, were he to step down, God forbid something were to happen to him, the Democratic Party would be in such significant and immediate trouble.
00:19:17.000 Everyone inside the Democratic Party knows this.
00:19:19.000 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:19:20.000 First, let us talk about the fact that you don't wanna be spending your time at an auto parts store like now or ever.
00:19:25.000 Why would you wanna wait in line, you finally get to the front of the line, and then they search for the part that you need and then they order it online and they upcharge you.
00:19:31.000 Or you could just go directly to the source, rockauto.com.
00:19:35.000 It's much easier than walking into a store and someone's demanding quick answers to specific questions like whether your Odyssey is an LX or an EX.
00:19:41.000 Instead, just go to rockauto.com.
00:19:43.000 It's at your desk.
00:19:44.000 It's in your pocket.
00:19:44.000 Rockauto.com always offers the lowest prices possible, rather than changing prices based on what the market will bear, like airlines do.
00:19:51.000 Why would you spend up to twice as much for the same parts?
00:19:54.000 Like, say, for example, this is off the top of my head.
00:19:56.000 I'm totally not reading this.
00:19:56.000 You need a Delphi FG1456 fuel pump assembly for a 2005 to 2010 Honda Odyssey.
00:20:01.000 Just right off the top of my head.
00:20:02.000 Like, I know it costs $354 at a big chain store.
00:20:06.000 That is the kind of thing you could get at Rock Auto for $217.
00:20:08.000 RockAuto.com is a family business.
00:20:11.000 They've been serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:20:14.000 Go check them out right now.
00:20:15.000 Go to RockAuto.com.
00:20:16.000 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:20:18.000 Write Shapiro in there.
00:20:19.000 How did you hear about us box?
00:20:20.000 So they know that we sent you.
00:20:22.000 Go to RockAuto.com right now.
00:20:23.000 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:20:25.000 And again, let them know that we sent you by writing Shapiro in there.
00:20:28.000 How did you hear about us box?
00:20:29.000 Okay, so this administration It's policy is so bad and it's all dependent on the continued aliveness of Joe Biden.
00:20:37.000 The barely aliveness of Joe Biden.
00:20:39.000 That is that.
00:20:40.000 That's it.
00:20:40.000 OK, so Joe Biden again.
00:20:43.000 He's, it's amazing.
00:20:44.000 They're, it's weekend to Bernie's.
00:20:46.000 They're just wheeling him around on a gurney.
00:20:48.000 And he says a couple of things, then they wheel him off slowly.
00:20:51.000 It's the weirdest, it's the weirdest presidency.
00:20:53.000 I mean, you thought the Trump presidency was weird, just on a raw level, because Donald Trump was a reality TV star who tweeted like whatever random crap came into his brain.
00:21:01.000 He had Twitter loggeria.
00:21:03.000 I'm not sure that this is not significantly weirder because Joe Biden, every time he speaks, it's like the door to the Crypt Keeper opens like, Oh, I don't know.
00:21:18.000 Click.
00:21:19.000 And then they just wheel him off.
00:21:21.000 So weird, man.
00:21:22.000 Here was Joe Biden yesterday openly saying, I'm not supposed to be answering questions.
00:21:25.000 No, you are.
00:21:26.000 You're the president of the United States.
00:21:28.000 You're supposed to be answering questions.
00:21:31.000 Thank you.
00:21:44.000 You guys are bad.
00:21:45.000 I'm not supposed to be answering all these questions.
00:21:46.000 I'm supposed to leave, but I can't resist your questions.
00:21:49.000 What?
00:21:50.000 You guys are bad?
00:21:51.000 I'm not supposed to be answering?
00:21:53.000 You're very naughty.
00:21:55.000 Naughty asking journalists.
00:21:57.000 I'm supposed to leave.
00:22:00.000 And, well, come on.
00:22:04.000 What is going on?
00:22:06.000 What's going on?
00:22:08.000 He completely forgets where he is in the middle of sentences.
00:22:10.000 Yesterday, he was talking about meeting with the House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy.
00:22:14.000 You probably should know his name.
00:22:15.000 He's the House Minority Leader.
00:22:16.000 Here is the president of the United States completely forgetting Kevin McCarthy's name.
00:22:21.000 I'm encouraged not just because of a solid meeting with with the Republican leader in the House and with with Mitch or He does this all the time.
00:22:41.000 You remember, he forgot the name of his own defense secretary.
00:22:44.000 He is not with us.
00:22:46.000 Can you know why he's important, gang?
00:22:48.000 Because you know who's waiting in the wings?
00:22:53.000 Yes, we all know.
00:22:54.000 Kamala Harris.
00:22:55.000 You know that laugh.
00:22:56.000 You know that music.
00:22:57.000 That's the Undertaker's music.
00:22:58.000 Kamala Harris is waiting in the wings.
00:23:00.000 Here is the problem.
00:23:01.000 Americans do not like Kamala Harris at all.
00:23:04.000 Joe Biden is at least above 50% in the approval ratings.
00:23:07.000 There's a brand new poll from YouGov.
00:23:08.000 Here's what it finds.
00:23:09.000 Among all U.S.
00:23:10.000 adults, she has a 41% favorable rating and a 48% unfavorable rating, including a 57% unfavorable rating among independents.
00:23:18.000 They are completely dependent on this old coot remaining barely sentient in order to ram through this garbage agenda.
00:23:23.000 It's absolutely unbelievable.
00:23:25.000 It's unbelievable.
00:23:27.000 Okay, meanwhile, you can see how the media are swiveling away from this.
00:23:30.000 So, you have the Middle East in flames.
00:23:32.000 You have massive inflation.
00:23:33.000 You have an economy that is in the doldrums, even though we should be in the greatest period of economic growth of our lifetimes.
00:23:38.000 I mean, bar none.
00:23:40.000 We were expecting that GDP growth this quarter was gonna be just astounding.
00:23:43.000 And instead, we got job growth that was three quarters of a million jobs under what it was supposed to be this month.
00:23:50.000 All of that is happening.
00:23:52.000 They're pushing for radical social policy that shifts the nature of the deal between individual Americans and the federal government.
00:23:58.000 They're invading religious freedom rights.
00:24:00.000 They're invading the ability of corporations to operate as they want to with regard to free markets.
00:24:08.000 This administration is a bleep show.
00:24:10.000 And the consequences are obvious to everyone.
00:24:12.000 And so they are deeply reliant on Joe Biden.
00:24:13.000 So the media, they're not basically, they just are the PR wing of the Democratic Party.
00:24:18.000 That's all they are.
00:24:18.000 The establishment media, understand, there is no distinction whatsoever between the DNC press office and the actual press.
00:24:25.000 There's no distinction.
00:24:26.000 They are the same.
00:24:27.000 The same people occupy the same positions, which is why they move so smoothly from one to the other.
00:24:30.000 You'll see people working for the New York Times, and then suddenly they just pop up, boom, right there in the Biden administration.
00:24:35.000 You see it on CNN all the time.
00:24:38.000 It's not rare.
00:24:39.000 Okay, so they've decided that they are going to misdirect away from the chaos that has been engulfing pretty much everywhere.
00:24:46.000 And they're going to misdirect toward this Liz Cheney story.
00:24:48.000 Now, as I've been saying, does anyone know who the number three House Minority Party leader was like five years ago?
00:24:57.000 Can you name the person?
00:24:59.000 Having trouble, are you?
00:25:01.000 Yeah, because no one cares.
00:25:02.000 Who cares who the number three is in the House Minority Party?
00:25:05.000 You're not even talking about the House Majority Party.
00:25:07.000 You're talking about the House Minority Party.
00:25:09.000 But Liz Cheney is getting all sorts of press because yesterday, Liz Cheney was voted out of her position as the number three.
00:25:15.000 Not the number two and not the number one.
00:25:16.000 She was voted out as the number three in the House Minority Party, specifically because the Republicans in the House were getting frustrated with the fact that Liz Cheney seemed to have a peculiar predilection for the strange new respect offered by the media.
00:25:30.000 Two months ago, they voted on whether Liz Cheney should stay.
00:25:33.000 She had exactly the same position on January 6th then, that she does now.
00:25:36.000 She had exactly the same position on Donald Trump then, that she does now.
00:25:40.000 She had exactly the same position on the veracity of the 2020 election then, as she does now.
00:25:44.000 But she withstood the vote and did so pretty easily.
00:25:47.000 With the support, by the way, of Kevin McCarthy, the House Minority Leader.
00:25:50.000 Then what happened?
00:25:51.000 She decided, you know, it'd be a great idea.
00:25:53.000 I'm going to go into the media and pretty much every day I'm just only going to talk about how Trump sucks and how Republicans who supported Trump kind of suck and how the 2020 election is legit and January 6th is the worst thing that ever happened and all of this.
00:26:06.000 Now, when you're the house minority leader, when you're the house number three, I should say, you have a couple of jobs, okay?
00:26:13.000 And those jobs are sometimes in conflict.
00:26:16.000 Your job as a congressperson is to vote on issues.
00:26:18.000 Liz Cheney, when she votes, is quite good.
00:26:21.000 She voted like 94% of the time, by the way, with Donald Trump when Trump was president.
00:26:25.000 So, she actually had a better record of voting with Trump than the new House No.
00:26:28.000 3, who is the kind of aspiring House No.
00:26:31.000 3, Elise Stefanik from New York.
00:26:34.000 Cheney is much more conservative in voting record than Stefanik, bar none.
00:26:38.000 But, it's not just about your voting record.
00:26:40.000 It's about can you raise money for the party, and do you help orient the communications of the party toward taking down the opposing party?
00:26:46.000 Or, are you directing all of your fire internally?
00:26:49.000 Are you spending all of your time giving MSNBC and CNN and The Washington Post and The New York Times exactly what they want?
00:26:55.000 Now, there is a difference between how you message and what you message.
00:27:00.000 I have said many times on the show that I agree with Liz Cheney's basic take on January 6th.
00:27:07.000 I agree with her basic take on how the election of 2020 went.
00:27:09.000 I don't think it was decided by voter fraud and irregularity.
00:27:12.000 I think that if there was rigging, it was by the media, which lied consistently for years.
00:27:15.000 I think that Trump's behavior between the election and January 6th was pretty egregious.
00:27:20.000 I talked about it openly at the time.
00:27:22.000 I talk about it openly now.
00:27:23.000 I agree with all those things.
00:27:25.000 But let's be real about this.
00:27:26.000 The threat to the country is not coming from a president who has not been in office for four months, is banned from Twitter and Facebook, and has been relegated to starting a blog and then blasting out emails about how much he hates Liz Cheney.
00:27:37.000 These kind of bizarre emails.
00:27:39.000 Okay, that guy is not the deep threat to the country.
00:27:41.000 The threat to the country is an authoritarian left that has taken over every major institution in American life, is on the move at the top of the American government, is creating inflation, unemployment, and chaos in the Middle East.
00:27:53.000 That is the threat.
00:27:54.000 Why is Liz Cheney not talking about that?
00:27:56.000 Okay, that is the specific reason why she was ousted.
00:27:59.000 Again, she held the same positions that she does now two months ago, and she survived the vote.
00:28:03.000 Then she decided, I'm going to use the intervening eight weeks to do nothing but crap on Republicans.
00:28:06.000 And Republicans, predictably, were like, you know what?
00:28:09.000 We don't need you in House leadership.
00:28:11.000 That's not a thing that we require.
00:28:13.000 We can have any other Republican who's a better fundraiser than you and doesn't spend all their days trying to give Joe Scarborough all sorts of fever dreams.
00:28:22.000 Try not to do that if you're in House leadership.
00:28:25.000 Okay, so Cheney has been doing this thing where she basically has made herself hero of the republic, strange new respect recipient from the left.
00:28:34.000 And she has done so by suggesting that the reason that she's being ousted from House leadership is not because of her lack of what we would call in Hebrew, seichel, or lack of common sense.
00:28:42.000 The reason she's being ousted from House leadership is because specifically she took this position.
00:28:45.000 Well, it's a combo, right?
00:28:47.000 She did take a position that is fairly unpopular with the Republican base, but she could survive that.
00:28:52.000 She could.
00:28:53.000 She absolutely could survive that position.
00:28:55.000 If she did not make her top priority, the consistent weird take that the great threat to the country is a president who is no longer in office and is not widely influential via his blog, okay?
00:29:09.000 Like, there are greater threats to the country right now, you may have noticed.
00:29:13.000 But Liz Cheney has decided that she kind of went into this thing without an exit strategy.
00:29:17.000 She decided she was going to start this fight and she really didn't know how to get out of it.
00:29:19.000 So the only way to get out of it is to keep on doubling down.
00:29:22.000 So here she was yesterday talking about how today's vote shows where the GOP is.
00:29:27.000 No, what today's vote shows, or yesterday's vote showed, is that the GOP does not wish to spend all waking moments talking about a guy who's not in office.
00:29:36.000 That if they ignore whatever silly things Trump is saying in his emails and focus in on, you know, the crises facing the country, they'll win back the house.
00:29:43.000 But you, Liz Cheney, have spent every waking moment, apparently, dealing with Trump.
00:29:47.000 I don't understand why, and no one else does either.
00:29:50.000 But this is exactly what the media want.
00:29:51.000 What the media want, they know the only way the Democrats are able to retain the House in 2022 is by labeling the Republicans too crazy to be elected.
00:29:59.000 Right?
00:29:59.000 To say that the Republicans, they're the party of Trump.
00:30:00.000 Now, that's a real bank shot because Trump ain't gonna have been in office for a couple of years by 2022.
00:30:05.000 But that's really their only hope because their own record sucks.
00:30:08.000 The entire media is looking for this too because they would much rather cover Liz Cheney versus Kevin McCarthy and the Republicans than cover the fact that a doddering old president who doesn't know what the hell is going on is presiding over a bizarrely timed collapse on nearly every front.
00:30:21.000 So here's Liz Cheney giving the media exactly what they want.
00:30:26.000 I do not.
00:30:28.000 I think that it is an indication of where the Republican Party is.
00:30:32.000 And I think that the party is in a place that we've got to bring it back from.
00:30:36.000 And we've got to get back to a position where we are a party that can fight for conservative principles, that can fight for substance.
00:30:43.000 We cannot be dragged backward by the very dangerous lies of a former president.
00:30:48.000 OK, I have a question.
00:30:49.000 Who is dragging us backward?
00:30:50.000 Who's talking about this the most?
00:30:52.000 Who decides that it's important to answer every single question the media asks you about this sort of stuff and spend 90% of your time on it?
00:30:58.000 There are two ways that you're dragged backwards here.
00:31:00.000 Okay, one, she's correct.
00:31:01.000 You shouldn't go around suggesting that Trump's prevarications are not prevarications.
00:31:07.000 They were.
00:31:08.000 You shouldn't go around suggesting that Biden and the president.
00:31:10.000 Biden's the president.
00:31:11.000 Okay, but there's another way you're dragged backwards and that is relitigating this thing over and over and over as though it makes a damn bit of difference.
00:31:18.000 Well, that's what Liz Cheney's been spending every day doing.
00:31:20.000 Kevin McCarthy yesterday, he was specifically asked about this.
00:31:25.000 He said, listen, we're not questioning who the president is.
00:31:26.000 We just met with him five seconds ago.
00:31:30.000 The conference will decide, but I don't think anybody is questioning the legitimacy of the presidential election.
00:31:35.000 I think that is all over with.
00:31:36.000 We're sitting here with the president today.
00:31:40.000 So from that point of view, I don't think that's a problem.
00:31:42.000 Okay, meanwhile, Cheney is receiving exactly what you would expect, a strange new respect to the media.
00:31:47.000 You think that Liz Cheney at House No.
00:31:48.000 3 would be being interviewed by Savannah Guthrie on national TV if this weren't happening?
00:31:52.000 The media are all over this because they don't want to cover the actual news.
00:31:56.000 Okay, this is not a big news story.
00:31:58.000 I'm sorry.
00:31:58.000 An internal House battle is not a big news story.
00:32:01.000 It's certainly not a bigger news story than the fact that the entire House infrastructure for the Democrats last year refused to condemn Ilhan Omar for open anti-Semitism, so she just keeps being an anti-Semite.
00:32:12.000 But the media didn't cover that either in the same way.
00:32:14.000 This is blanket wall-to-wall kind of stuff because they need Trump.
00:32:17.000 Trump is a distraction.
00:32:18.000 Trump is the shiny object.
00:32:20.000 Trump is the misdirection.
00:32:21.000 And Liz Cheney will substitute for Trump because she, by dint of what she's talking about, makes Trump the issue.
00:32:28.000 So here is Liz Cheney with Savannah Guthrie.
00:32:30.000 Again, is this something that a House GOP number three should be doing?
00:32:35.000 Interviews with MSNBC's Savannah Guthrie on the Today show about how terrible the other Republicans are?
00:32:43.000 Do you think Leader McCarthy has placed his own ambitions to be Speaker of the House above principle?
00:32:50.000 I think that he is not leading with principle right now.
00:32:53.000 And I think that it is, it's sad and I think it's dangerous.
00:32:57.000 And I think that we are at a moment where the Republican Party has to have leaders that are focused on principle.
00:33:04.000 I mean, I'm sorry.
00:33:06.000 Which principles are you talking about?
00:33:07.000 Because it turns out that there are several different principles at play.
00:33:10.000 One is focusing on the principle that we don't lie about elections.
00:33:13.000 Agree.
00:33:14.000 Then there's the principle of stop the people in power from wrecking the country.
00:33:17.000 Are you doing that?
00:33:19.000 Really?
00:33:20.000 That's kind of a priority.
00:33:21.000 Hey, I think it's a pretty good indicator that you might be headed down the wrong path here when Jen Psaki from the White House is praising you.
00:33:28.000 It's disturbing to see any leader, regardless of party, being attacked for simply speaking the truth.
00:33:35.000 And as the president said last week, it's hard to understand.
00:33:39.000 But our belief, his belief, is that the American people will have to make their own decisions about whether the reaction by the people they elected to represent them should be embracing and elevating conspiracies and attacks on our democracy, or whether it should be standing up for ideals that have historically been owned by both Democrats and Republicans representing the country.
00:34:00.000 I'm sorry, being lectured about election veracity by the same Democrats who claim for four years that Trump was a Russian cat's paw, and suggest that Al Gore was president, and suggest that Diebold machines decided the 2004 election, and who keep elevating Stacey Abrams, who still refuses to acknowledge that she was not legitimately elected the governor of Georgia.
00:34:15.000 Like, spare me.
00:34:16.000 Spare me just a little bit.
00:34:18.000 How much do the media love this story?
00:34:20.000 The reason that Liz Cheney ain't in leadership is because the media love this story so much.
00:34:23.000 How much do the media love this story?
00:34:25.000 According to the folks over at Newsbusters, Curtis Hoek reporting, CNN spent nearly three times more time on Liz Cheney in 12 hours than all of the economic crises that are hitting the country right now.
00:34:39.000 Very, very clear what exactly the agenda here is.
00:34:41.000 Okay, in just a second, we'll bring you the latest from the situation in Israel.
00:34:45.000 The rockets continue to fall and rain down on Israeli cities.
00:34:49.000 Riots are now plaguing Israeli cities as well.
00:34:51.000 And the American and international left have decided the good guys are Hamas.
00:34:54.000 We'll get to this in one second.
00:34:55.000 First, let us talk about the fact that if you get car sick or you It's a really awful feeling.

00:36:17.000 And it feels like there are some powerful forces trying to take it from you.
00:36:20.000 Well, that's because they are.
00:36:21.000 Small businesses are dying in the name of public safety, and kids are being indoctrinated in schools.
00:36:25.000 And we're being conditioned to fear retribution for questioning the accepted narrative.
00:36:28.000 We all feel this, right?
00:36:29.000 If you're working for a company right now, you're afraid that your bosses are going to fire you if you voted for Trump.
00:36:34.000 If you are going to school, you're afraid that if you say something that doesn't toe the leftist line, your professor is going to nail you, right?
00:36:41.000 You are worried about this because we are living in an authoritarian moment, which is coincidentally the name of my new book.
00:36:46.000 The book is called The Authoritarian Moment.
00:36:47.000 It goes through, institution by institution, how the left re-normalized every institution.
00:36:51.000 Because you have to understand that in order to fight back.
00:36:54.000 Because that's really what the book is about.
00:36:55.000 How we re-normalize, make normal again, these institutions.
00:37:00.000 If you're interested in fighting back against the authoritarian left, which is the movement that is on the march right now, if you want to protect yourself, your loved ones from mob rule, and from the thought leaders who have decided to implement their authoritarian agenda from above, go check out my book today, The Authoritarian Moment.
00:37:16.000 It's available for pre-order right now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, any other major bookseller already soaring up the bestseller charts even a couple of months in advance.
00:37:24.000 Go check it out right now, The Authoritarian Moment.
00:37:25.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:37:28.000 Meanwhile, the rockets continue to fall in Israel.
00:37:36.000 Hundreds more rockets fired at Tel Aviv and Eilat.
00:37:39.000 Hamas has also been launching what they call suicide drones.
00:37:43.000 According to the Jerusalem Post, Hamas launched suicide drones laden with explosives into Israel on Thursday.
00:37:47.000 At least one was believed to have exploded in the air somewhere in central Israel.
00:37:50.000 The drone attack came.
00:37:51.000 As over a hundred long-range rockets were fired in the direction of Tel Aviv, central Israel, and as far south as Eilat.
00:37:56.000 Eilat is the very southern tip of Israel.
00:37:58.000 Four people were injured.
00:38:00.000 The rocket attack came as the Israeli Defense Forces prepared for a possible ground invasion of the Gaza Strip.
00:38:05.000 Plans for a ground offensive are scheduled to be presented to the IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Aviv Kohavi, for approval later on Thursday.
00:38:12.000 This, of course, makes perfect sense because the Gaza and Hamas party has been firing, the terrorist group, they've been firing these missiles directly from civilian areas.
00:38:21.000 Israel could theoretically bomb all these places into submission.
00:38:24.000 They have complete air superiority.
00:38:25.000 They're not doing so specifically because they attempted to avoid civilian casualties, which of course is why Hamas tends to hide all of its weaponry in mosques, schools, apartment buildings, and populated areas.
00:38:35.000 They're firing all of their ordnance directly from areas where they can use human shields.
00:38:40.000 Meanwhile, after a large barrage of rockets towards central and southern Israel on Thursday afternoon, Abu Ubaidah, spokesman of Hamas's military wing, the Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed Hamas was launching rockets toward Ramon Airport.
00:38:53.000 After the barrage, the Hevel Eilat Regional Council, located in southern Negev, announced a rocket had fallen in the regional council.
00:38:58.000 No injuries were reported.
00:39:00.000 Meanwhile, the IDF has been destroying government targets in the Gaza Strip, such as central banks and internal security buildings.
00:39:07.000 They've also killed some of the Hamas top leaders.
00:39:10.000 Remember, all of this was initiated because Mahmoud Abbas canceled an election in the Palestinian Authority, and then blamed the Jews, fomented violence, and then Hamas got in on the act, and now Israel is knocking out a bunch of Hamas leaders.
00:39:20.000 Meanwhile, world leaders are calling Mahmoud Abbas, the guy who started this whole routine.
00:39:24.000 It's pretty incredible.
00:39:25.000 The inside-outside game that is played by Palestinian terrorist groups continues to amaze.
00:39:29.000 The left's willingness to cover for actual honest-to-God terrorist groups is astonishing to me.
00:39:34.000 It really is an amazing thing.
00:39:35.000 Hamas makes no bones about the fact that they wish to wipe out every Jew.
00:39:40.000 This is not a conflict over land.
00:39:42.000 This is not a conflict over borders.
00:39:44.000 This is not a... You have one group that wishes to kill everyone of a particular group, and one group that wishes to live.
00:39:51.000 They are being very inconvenient in that they are not willingly dying.
00:39:54.000 There have been times in the past where Jews were quite soft in their own defense.
00:39:58.000 It didn't end well for them.
00:39:59.000 That's never going to happen again.
00:40:00.000 That's why the State of Israel exists, and people are angry that the State of Israel exists.
00:40:05.000 And so you have to come up with all sorts of bizarre justifications for why Israel is not right to defend itself here.
00:40:11.000 Fortunately, we have Congress people, sitting Congress people, who are full on in on this sort of stuff.
00:40:16.000 So, for example, you have Alexander Ocasio-Cortez openly defending Hamas.
00:40:20.000 Right, this genius.
00:40:22.000 So Joe Biden said that Israel has a right to defend itself, which, by the way, isn't it kind of amazing that you have to actually say that?
00:40:29.000 Israel, which is a sovereign country, has the right to defend itself?
00:40:32.000 What would the converse be?
00:40:33.000 It doesn't have the right to defend itself?
00:40:35.000 Of course it has the right to defend itself.
00:40:36.000 You know what would happen if there were a terrorist group or, say, the government of Mexico, which is actually what is going on.
00:40:42.000 Hamas is the government of the Gaza Strip.
00:40:44.000 What if the government of Mexico were firing hundreds of rockets into San Diego?
00:40:48.000 Do you know how long that government would last?
00:40:49.000 Zero days.
00:40:51.000 We would be planting the American flag in Mexico City immediately.
00:40:54.000 Okay, this notion that Israel is supposed to sit around and bear this sort of stuff is insane.
00:40:58.000 So Biden says, Israel has a right to defend itself, which is like the mildest form of, okay, Israel can kill a few Hamas leaders.
00:41:05.000 Alexander Ocasio-Cortez then tweets out, blanket statements like these.
00:41:08.000 Blanket statements?
00:41:09.000 What state doesn't have the right to defend itself?
00:41:11.000 Blanket statements like these with little context or acknowledgement of what precipitated this cycle of violence, namely the expulsions of Palestinians and attacks on Al-Aqsa, dehumanized Palestinians, and implied the U.S.
00:41:20.000 will look the other way at human rights violations.
00:41:22.000 It's wrong.
00:41:23.000 So it's wrong for her, for the Jewish state to defend itself.
00:41:26.000 He's saying that Israel doesn't have a right to defend itself from ongoing, consistent rocket attacks directed at civilians?
00:41:33.000 Okay, there's a point where being anti-Israel shifts over into being anti-Semitic.
00:41:39.000 Okay, and at the point where you're saying that the Jewish state doesn't have the same rights as any other state on planet Earth, you have reached this point.
00:41:45.000 Okay, Alexander Ocasio-Cortez tweeted out, by only stepping in to name Hamas's actions, which are condemnable, when refusing to acknowledge the rights of Palestinians, Biden reinforces the false idea that Palestinians instigated this cycle of violence.
00:41:55.000 Of course they instigated this cycle of violence.
00:41:57.000 Are you insane?
00:41:59.000 Who's firing the rockets?
00:42:01.000 Who started the riots at Al-Aqsa.
00:42:03.000 Okay, that is a lie to say that the Israelis started the riots at Al-Aqsa.
00:42:07.000 It is not true.
00:42:08.000 It is an overt lie.
00:42:10.000 She says, this is not neutral language.
00:42:11.000 It takes aside the side of occupation.
00:42:14.000 She's an ignoramus and she's a fool.
00:42:15.000 Okay, and that is perfectly clear.
00:42:18.000 But so, but you know.
00:42:20.000 I will attribute ignorance to her.
00:42:23.000 I will attribute malice to Rashida Tlaib.
00:42:24.000 So Rashida Tlaib is just a malicious pro-terror liar.
00:42:27.000 So here is Rashida Tlaib at a rally yesterday promoting the leftist idea, the international leftist idea, that the subjugated of the world are all in solidarity with one another and that the true story of humanity is white people.
00:42:42.000 All over, and she counts Jews with whites.
00:42:44.000 White people all over who are subjugating brown people all over.
00:42:47.000 This is something that Jamal Bowman, who's standing right next to Rashida Tlaib when she says this, also is putting out there.
00:42:53.000 It's the reason why Black Lives Matter has in its manifesto, in its program, end the Israeli occupation.
00:42:59.000 Because there's a lie that is out there, going all the way back to Frantz Fanon, that basically anybody who has a European way of life is an oppressor, and anybody else is not an oppressor, they are the victimized.
00:43:09.000 And so the oppressors of the world have to rise up in anti-colonialist fashion, right?
00:43:12.000 That's what this language is.
00:43:14.000 So here's Rashida Tlaib suggesting that what the Israelis are, quote unquote, doing to the Palestinians is what the police do to black and brown people.
00:43:21.000 I assume that's what she means by they, because if she doesn't mean the police by they, if she doesn't mean two separate terms by they, as you will see, then she's just talking about the Jews.
00:43:29.000 And that's just pure anti-Semitism.
00:43:30.000 So here's Rashida Tlaib suggesting somehow a connection between police treatment of black and brown people in the United States, which, again, she lies about, to Israeli treatment of Palestinians.
00:43:39.000 So there are a few things that are wrong with this.
00:43:41.000 One, the police in the United States are not systemically racist.
00:43:44.000 Put that aside.
00:43:45.000 Number two, the Israelis are not white.
00:43:49.000 Okay, this bizarre notion that the Israelis are white ignores the fact that like half of Israelis, more than half of Israelis, by percentage, are from Arabic countries.
00:43:59.000 The Jews who have been killed in Israel, there are some from Yemen, there are some from Morocco.
00:44:03.000 There are plenty of Jews who are not white.
00:44:06.000 Okay, and Jews, technically speaking, were not white until like the last five minutes when they became prominent in American politics.
00:44:13.000 Until then, they were considered an out-group.
00:44:15.000 Okay, but here's Rashida Tlaib pushing this vile nonsense, this vile racially polarizing nonsense.
00:44:20.000 And by the way, pro-Hamas nonsense, because she has nary a word to say about Hamas firing rockets indiscriminately into civilian population centers and using human shields in order to protect themselves.
00:44:29.000 Our freedom is interconnected with black, brown, indigenous.
00:44:33.000 It is connected.
00:44:35.000 What they are doing to the Palestinian people is what they continue to do to our people.
00:44:40.000 By the way, it is.
00:44:41.000 and sisters here to the immigrant community we love.
00:44:44.000 And I know, so I want you to know this.
00:44:48.000 If you are marching for freedom or full esteem, please know that you must be marching for everybody's freedom.
00:44:54.000 And it's all interconnected.
00:44:56.000 It's all interconnected, you see.
00:44:57.000 This is how you grow this movement.
00:44:58.000 By the way, it is.
00:44:59.000 For the truth.
00:45:00.000 For the left.
00:45:01.000 You wonder about the red, what people have termed the red green alliance, meaning the sort of communist, you know, red, red Islamist alliance.
00:45:10.000 The answer is they're aimed at tearing down American institutions, tearing down Western Israel is seen as an extension of that.
00:45:15.000 They don't hate America because they hate Israel.
00:45:17.000 They hate Israel because they hate America.
00:45:19.000 I mean, the basic notion that Rashida Tlaib is connecting the institutions of the United States with what's going on in Israel, in order to conflate all of that, you have to acknowledge that what she's really attempting to do is condemn all of the systems of the West Because there is some supposed underclass that is being repressed by these systems.
00:45:38.000 And so she'll make excuses for any level of violence in the same way that members of the Radical Democratic Party make excuses for people burning down cities and murdering people.
00:45:45.000 In the United States, they make excuses for Hamas firing rockets indiscriminately into civilian areas.
00:45:50.000 Now again, this is all anti-factual.
00:45:52.000 Soumya Santosh is a 32-year-old Indian woman who, in order to care for her 9-year-old boy, found work in Ashkelon caring for an 80-year-old woman.
00:45:59.000 And she was blown up by Hamas, like yesterday.
00:46:02.000 19-year-old Yehuda Guetta, from Libya, was shot and killed earlier this week by a Palestinian-American named Montaser Shalabi, who was motivated, according to his neighbors, by equal parts Jew hatred and heavy gambling deaths.
00:46:15.000 According to Tablet Mag, the basic attempt to conflate American racial politics with the Middle East is not only intellectually dishonest, but has terrible motivations.
00:46:28.000 And this is, by the way, why you are seeing Jews getting beat up in different places in the United States.
00:46:33.000 Yesterday in Florida, there was a truck that was driving around Jewish rallies saying Hitler was right.
00:46:38.000 Okay, the conflation between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism.
00:46:41.000 Not everybody who doesn't like Israel is an anti-Semite, but every anti-Semite is anti-Israel.
00:46:47.000 Okay, so it's pretty incredible to see these narratives trotted out.
00:46:50.000 Perhaps the dumbest narrative, of course, is the narrative trotted out by Trevor Noah.
00:46:54.000 So yesterday, Trevor Noah literally said that Israel should stop defending itself because they're too good at defending themselves.
00:47:00.000 Just personally, I cannot watch that footage and hear those numbers and see a fair fight.
00:47:07.000 Like, set aside motives and intentions and just look at technology.
00:47:10.000 Technology alone.
00:47:12.000 Israel has one of the most powerful militaries in the world.
00:47:16.000 And I know that people are going to hate me for this, but I just want to ask an honest question here.
00:47:23.000 If you are in a fight where the other person cannot beat you, How hard should you retaliate when they try to hurt you?
00:47:34.000 As hard as you need to to make them stop hurting you.
00:47:36.000 Also, by hurt you, I think that he is making a pretty significant category error here.
00:47:41.000 There's a difference between a child trying to physically harm me and a terrorist group firing rockets at people and murdering them.
00:47:48.000 The answer is as much as you need to do to stop Hamas's capacity to commit terror attacks.
