Summary

In this episode, I discuss the new standard set by the media and the public regarding the behavior of public figures, including Russell Brand, Howard Stern, and Joe Biden, and how they are treated in the eyes of the media, the public, and the general public. I also talk about the new standards that are being set, and why they are not evenly applied to public figures like Howard Stern and Russell Brand. And, of course, I talk about how Howard Stern is a disgusting human being, and what we should do about it. I also discuss why it s so important to be careful about what you say and what you do not say in public, especially when it comes to sexual assault and sexual harassment allegations, which Howard has been accused of perpetrating by a number of women, including four women who claim that he sexually assaulted them. And, yes, I do make fun of Howard's breasts, which is not a bad thing, by the way. I mean, really, they are incredible. I don t know what else to do with them, but let's just talk about it, shall we? I don't even bother to try to make sense of it? I'll tell you why it's a good thing that it's not okay to have them in the public eye, and it's okay to be a little bit dirty, but it's also OK to be dirty, right? or and to have a little in public . if you like it of course but not too dirty, let's all the time we're not not , right so ? that's not normal can you do , let's talk about this right , do that n s y a m l o b c d (that's right, right ? I'm not ? How do you like them? can they're not normal? , I they're are they you're not really no just have a nice stomachs ? I can you p ; should they (not h don't they have them what th etc g oh

00:00:00.000 So, the rule is, in our media and in our international politics, as it turns out, that if you mirror the priorities of the left, then you can pretty much do whatever you want so long as you're not caught on camera doing it.
00:00:12.000 Any other thing, you're pretty much okay.
00:00:14.000 The reason I say this is because if you look at the disparate consequences for public figures, ranging from, say, Russell Brand on the one hand, to somebody like Howard Stern on the other, the public consequences are
00:00:26.000 quite disparate.
00:00:27.000 I'll use Russell Brand as an example here for just a second.
00:00:30.000 So I've talked about Russell Brand at length this week. Russell, of course, has
00:00:33.000 been accused now by four separate women of actions ranging from sexual assault to rape to
00:00:38.000 sexual harassment. And whether those allegations are true or not, I don't know.
00:00:43.000 One thing I do know is that at this moment, they are just allegations.
00:00:46.000 There has been no actual criminal indictment brought against him.
00:00:50.000 He's certainly not been convicted of anything, but YouTube has now suspended Russell Brand for making any money on the platform on Tuesday, days after that report broke from Channel 4 and BBC.
00:01:01.000 And these are outlets that used to pay Russell Brand while he was in the midst of his most flagrantly vile behavior.
00:01:06.000 And as I pointed out the other day, there is some irony to the fact, or something curious to the fact, that Russell Brand, when he was at his most vile, was being paid by all the same media outlets that are now investigating him when he's married and has a couple kids and is preaching heterodox political opinions.
00:01:20.000 When it comes to YouTube, Brand's channel with 6.6 million subscribers, according to Daily Wire, has now been suspended for monetization following serious allegations against the creator, according to YouTube.
00:01:29.000 Again, this is a very strange standard that YouTube is now purveying.
00:01:32.000 So if there are serious allegations made against you of any sort, I suppose now all of your videos just immediately get demonetized, which is going to be very bad news for half the rappers on the block, as well as a significant number of actors.
00:01:45.000 I mean, seriously, there are these allegations out there about an enormous number of public figures.
00:01:50.000 If the new standard is an allegation is tantamount to a conviction in the court of public opinion, and an allegation alone is sufficient to have your ability to monetize your videos removed from you by YouTube, that is a horrible standard.
00:02:03.000 You have now created a massive incentive structure for people to make allegations against people, true or false, in order to destroy their careers.
00:02:10.000 Now again, I'm not saying that the women who are coming out and saying this stuff about Brand are lying.
00:02:14.000 I don't know whether they are or not.
00:02:16.000 What I do know at this point is that YouTube, I don't know how they could possibly uphold such a standard.
00:02:22.000 That a public allegation comes out that's ugly about somebody, and they immediately demonetize everything having to do with Russell Brand.
00:02:27.000 Now, does that have something to do with the fact that Russell Brand is, again, a heterodox political thinker?
00:02:33.000 Somebody who says things about, for example, COVID that YouTube doesn't like very much?
00:02:38.000 Somebody who says stuff about Joe Biden that YouTube might not like very much?
00:02:42.000 These sorts of standards are certainly not going to be evenly applied.
00:02:46.000 Obviously, they're not going to be evenly applied.
00:02:49.000 And this is what brings me to Howard Stern.
00:02:50.000 So Howard Stern has been making headlines the last couple of days by pushing very loudly to the left.
00:02:56.000 Now, Howard Stern spent pretty much my entire life, from the time I was a teenager on, being one of the most famous people in America, being an absolute deviant, a degraded person beyond all measure.
00:03:08.000 Just to remind you who Howard Stern is, the kinds of behavior that Howard Stern has regularly engaged in publicly throughout his career, are disgusting.
00:03:16.000 I mean, they are disreputable, they are vile toward women, and all the rest.
00:03:20.000 Just to remind you, here's a compilation of Howard Stern's randomly disgusting comments to just female guests on his show.
00:03:28.000 You're wearing panties?
00:03:29.000 Mm-hmm.
00:03:29.000 What do you wear?
00:03:30.000 A thong, or...?
00:03:31.000 Mm-hmm.
00:03:31.000 You do?
00:03:32.000 Yeah.
00:03:32.000 How you looking, then?
00:03:33.000 I don't know.
00:03:34.000 You know how you look.
00:03:35.000 I don't know what day.
00:03:36.000 That's right.
00:03:37.000 Say something.
00:03:37.000 First of all, your breasts are incredible.
00:03:39.000 No, they're not.
00:03:40.000 They're really not.
00:03:41.000 No, they're normal, but thank you.
00:03:42.000 When you walk down the street... You have some people on here with incredible breasts.
00:03:45.000 When she starts doing that moaning, that uh-uh, what's going through your head when you do that?
00:03:49.000 Sex.
00:03:52.000 Yeah.
00:03:53.000 Oh, I can see now.
00:03:53.000 Yeah, and then I can see why you're moaning.
00:03:55.000 Ooh, yeah, you got a nice stomach.
00:03:57.000 That's what I dig.
00:03:58.000 Okay, so I wasn't gonna pander that hard.
00:04:01.000 No, that's fine what you're wearing.
00:04:02.000 Panic is my own decision.
00:04:04.000 Wait, just stand there for a second.
00:04:05.000 Let me look at you.
00:04:06.000 Your body's hot.
00:04:08.000 This is some of the milder stuff that Howard Stern said on his show for years and years and years and years.
00:04:12.000 I mean, this is a person who literally had women into his studio to sit on vibrators so that he could record their reactions and blast it out to millions of people in his audience.
00:04:21.000 He's one of the most vile people in public life for decades on end.
00:04:24.000 But now, Howard Stern is apparently one of our moral exemplars.
00:04:29.000 So, over the last couple of days, for example, he has ripped into Lauren Boebert.
00:04:33.000 Now, Lauren Boebert engaged in what I think is disgusting behavior.
00:04:38.000 We talked about it and I made fun of her on the program because it's just insane to go with your boyfriend to a showing of Beetlejuice And then get handsy with your boyfriend while vaping and then to yell at people who do you know who I am when you're when you're removed from the venue is really gross behavior.
00:04:55.000 But you know who doesn't have a leg to stand on talking about gross public behavior is Howard Stern.
00:04:58.000 But Howard Stern apparently has no, he has no compunction about doing any of this now.
00:05:03.000 He didn't have the same reaction when it was Bill Clinton in the Oval Office, you know.
00:05:06.000 Receiving favors from Monica Lewinsky, I remember.
00:05:09.000 But here is Howard Stern getting very upset about Lauren Boebert.
00:05:12.000 Suddenly he is on my side of the aisle when it comes to apparent prudery.
00:05:17.000 Lauren Boebert is a disgrace to this country.
00:05:21.000 Not because of the video.
00:05:22.000 You are 100% right.
00:05:24.000 Forget the politics.
00:05:25.000 She's in a d**k dress.
00:05:27.000 If you saw the video, she's in a d**k dress.
00:05:29.000 She's with some dude.
00:05:31.000 Looks like she's, you know, obviously vaping, but also looks like she might be grabbing his penis during Beetlejuice.
00:05:37.000 She was wearing a tight d**k dress.
00:05:40.000 I've seen porn stars wear more.
00:05:42.000 When I watched that tape, I go, God, she must be so much fun to f**k.
00:05:45.000 Oh, my God.
00:05:46.000 She's a hot girlfriend, but, you know, do we need her in Congress?
00:05:50.000 Did you notice that when he reached?
00:05:51.000 We need her in a strip club and we need her to give lap dances and we need her to play with guys.
00:05:56.000 OK, that is Howard Stern.
00:05:59.000 Right again.
00:06:00.000 Now, we don't need her in Congress.
00:06:01.000 She's a disgrace to Congress, says Howard Stern.
00:06:05.000 Now, how is Howard Stern able to get away with all this stuff?
00:06:07.000 Because again, he mirrors the political priorities of the left.
00:06:10.000 You can be as gross as you want to be, so long as you mirror the political priorities of the left.
00:06:14.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.
00:06:15.000 First, Vladimir Putin has called the U.S.
00:06:17.000 dollar's drop in dominance objective and irreversible.
00:06:19.000 Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa have formally agreed to use local currencies in trade instead of the United States dollar.
00:06:25.000 Is that the first shoe to fall?
00:06:27.000 I don't know, but one thing I do know is that it is smart to diversify.
00:06:30.000 Investors and savers are looking to harness the power of physical gold held in a tax-sheltered IRA.
00:06:35.000 I buy gold from Birch Gold.
00:06:36.000 I trust them to help me diversify my savings.
00:06:38.000 You can protect your IRA or 401k by diversifying with gold from Birch Gold.
00:06:43.000 As the U.S.
00:06:43.000 dollar continues to receive pressure from foreign countries, digital currencies, and central banks, arm yourself With information on how to protect your savings, text BEN to 989898.
00:06:51.000 They'll send you a free info kit on gold.

00:06:58.000 I trust Birch Gold to help you diversify into gold.
00:07:00.000 If a central bank digital currency would become a reality, well, it'd be nice to have some gold to depend upon.
00:07:04.000 Again, text BEN to 989898.
00:07:07.000 I don't like having all of my assets subject to the whims of central bankers.
00:07:10.000 You probably shouldn't either.
00:07:11.000 Text Ben to 989898, ask all your questions to my friend at Birchgold, and then get started investing in precious metals.
00:07:18.000 All right, so back to Howard Stern.
00:07:20.000 Again, Howard Stern has discovered the magic elixir that wipes away all of your past and present sins, and that is be far enough to the left.
00:07:29.000 So Howard Stern, in the last couple of months, he's getting more and more to the left.
00:07:33.000 Here he was just a little while ago, a couple months ago, going after Kid Rock and Travis Tritt, claiming that they are transphobic for pointing out that, for example, Dylan Mulvaney is not a woman.
00:07:43.000 I wish I could call Kid Rock and have him come on the show and just tell me, what is it?
00:07:47.000 Why are you so upset about this?
00:07:49.000 Like, how is it hurtful?
00:07:51.000 I'm really dumbfounded by why someone would care so much that they would blow up a can of Bud Light and say f*** Anheuser-Busch.
00:07:58.000 I don't get it.
00:08:00.000 Now again, remember that because Howard Stern is the kind of person who pays homage to our secular religious priesthood, this means that he can get away with pretty much anything.
00:08:08.000 I mean, here he is committing sacrifices to the secular religious priesthood, the great sacrifice of all, which is to suggest that you should get as many booster shots as humanly possible.
00:08:16.000 Here is Howard Stern literally yesterday talking about how he is now woke.
00:08:20.000 He's a woke guy, says Howard Stern.
00:08:24.000 I get every f***ing vaccine.
00:08:26.000 Good.
00:08:26.000 And for those of you who think the government's trying to kill you or implant chips... Or they're chipping you.
00:08:32.000 I don't know why they're chipping you.
00:08:34.000 Go for those conspiracies.
00:08:35.000 But I am woke, motherf***er, and I love it.
00:08:38.000 I want to be awake.
00:08:40.000 I want to read legitimate news sources.
00:08:44.000 Here's how woke I am.
00:08:45.000 I believe the election was not rigged.
00:08:49.000 Okay, again, he's saying all the nostrums that everybody on the left really wants to hear.
00:08:54.000 And that means that it's fine for him to do all this stuff.
00:08:56.000 So why is this important?
00:08:57.000 Why is this sort of stuff important?
00:08:58.000 Because when you have an immunized class of people, a class of people who are immunized by their association with certain left-wing clauses, first of all, it incentivizes bad behavior by those people, but second of all, It also creates this massive double standard where if you are heterodox, you can expect to be targeted.
00:09:13.000 But if you are orthodox in your practice of leftism, well then you can expect that you're going to be given an enormous amount of breathing room.
00:09:20.000 And everybody understands this.
00:09:21.000 That the secular left priesthood that now prevails in the media, in Hollywood, when it comes to our government, that secular left priesthood gets to decide who are the favored and who are the disfavored.
00:09:34.000 So, to take this to the international level, there's something sort of fascinating happening with the Ukraine war.
00:09:39.000 And I'm not talking about the actual on-the-ground fighting.
00:09:41.000 I'm talking about the perception of Ukraine in the Ukraine war.
00:09:44.000 So one of the things that started pretty early in the Ukraine vs. Russia war is this bizarre left-right Split.
00:09:49.000 That didn't seem to mirror reality at the beginning.
00:09:51.000 At the very beginning, there was a lot of talk on the right about how Russia was in a religious state where Ukraine was irreligious.
00:09:56.000 Well, by all available polling, the opposite was true.
00:09:58.000 Far more people in Ukraine go to church, on average, than people in Russia.
00:10:02.000 They go to church far more frequently.
00:10:04.000 Ukraine is a far more socially conservative country than Russia in a lot of ways, despite Vladimir Putin's attempts to be more socially conservative from the top down.
00:10:11.000 It's a far more secular, atheistic state is Russia than Ukraine.
00:10:14.000 But the presumption on the part of Americans was the opposite.
00:10:19.000 For a lot of Americans, Ukraine, because it was immediately adopted by the Democratic Party and because Joe Biden decided to make it his sort of cause on the international stage, immediately the assumption was on the left that Ukraine had to be some sort of San Francisco on the Volga.
00:10:35.000 Which is absurd.
00:10:37.000 It's not true.
00:10:39.000 But very quickly, you know what Ukraine learned?
00:10:41.000 What Ukraine learned is that they actually were able to get left-wing support by pandering exactly to this.
00:10:50.000 It's a truly astonishing thing.
00:10:52.000 So, for example, Vladimir Zelensky.
00:10:54.000 He goes to the UN and he's trying to make a pitch for further funding.
00:10:59.000 And he makes the usual pitch.
00:11:00.000 He starts off by talking about how Russia is going to cross NATO's borders and it's going to engage in mass destruction.
00:11:06.000 This is exactly what you would expect to hear from a country that is in the middle of a war.
00:11:09.000 But then he moves beyond that.
00:11:11.000 So here's Zelensky's original pitch, which is that it's really all about Russia and the battle between Russia and Ukraine for territorial integrity and the rest.
00:11:21.000 Terrorists have no right to hold nuclear weapons.
00:11:25.000 No right.
00:11:28.000 But truly, not the nukes are the scariest now.
00:11:32.000 While nukes remain in place, the mass destruction is gaining its momentum.
00:11:39.000 The aggressor is weaponizing many other things, and those things are used not only against our country, but against all of yours as well.
00:11:50.000 Okay, so, you can agree with this case, you can disagree with this case, but Zelensky then spent enormous amounts of his speech not talking.
00:11:58.000 about the war that has killed hundreds of thousands of people in Ukraine.
00:12:02.000 Instead, he spends an enormous amount of his speech talking about climate change.
00:12:06.000 I have a question.
00:12:07.000 Do you think the people of Ukraine give a good bleep about climate change at this point?
00:12:11.000 Right now, they have bombs falling in their cities.
00:12:12.000 They're in the midst of the biggest continental war in Europe since World War II.
00:12:17.000 And Vladimir Zelensky is over there talking about climate change.
00:12:19.000 Why is he doing that?
00:12:21.000 Why is he doing that?
00:12:22.000 Because if you talk about climate change, then this gives you, this is like the golden ticket to left-wing money.
00:12:28.000 It's what earns you support from the left.
00:12:31.000 If you talk about their favorite topics, the same way that Howard Stern buys a dispensation, a left-wing papal dispensation, by talking left-wing talk, Vladimir Zelensky has realized that he can do the exact same thing.
00:12:45.000 That the bizarre split between right and left over the assumed politics of Russia versus Ukraine, if he actually plays into that, he can get Joe Biden to sign him more cash, he can get the left-wing media to support him in a higher order.
00:12:58.000 This presumably is why Zelensky is talking about climate change.
00:13:00.000 Here is Zelensky lecturing the world about climate change, which again is super weird.
00:13:05.000 Even though humanity is failing on its climate policy objectives, this means that extreme weather will still impact the normal global life and some evil state will also weaponize its outcomes.
00:13:21.000 What in the world is he jabbering about?
00:13:23.000 Why is he even talking about this?
00:13:24.000 Well, the reason he's talking about this is because this is the admission price.
00:13:28.000 The artificial intelligence could be trained to combat well before it would learn to help the humanity.
00:13:33.000 were going to use climate as a weapon. Thank God people haven't learned to use climate as a weapon,
00:13:37.000 says Vladimir Zelensky. What the hell does this have to do with the price of a missile in Ukraine?
00:13:41.000 The artificial intelligence could be trained to combat well before it would learn to help the
00:13:49.000 humanity. Thank God people have not yet learned to use climate as a weapon.
00:13:57.000 Presumably, this is also the reason why Ukraine is now trotting out a spokesperson for the military who is a transgender woman.
00:14:04.000 I'm not kidding you.
00:14:06.000 Now, same-sex marriage in Ukraine is not legal.
00:14:11.000 Ukraine is not a left-wing country.
00:14:14.000 The simple fact of the matter is that it is a culturally right-wing country.
00:14:19.000 In a 2010 European study, for example, only 28% of Ukrainians polled believe that LGBTQ individuals should live freely and however they like.
00:14:26.000 That was the lowest number of all European countries polled, except for Russia.
00:14:30.000 Russia is the only other one that has lower numbers.
00:14:34.000 The notion that this is like a wildly left-wing place is ridiculous.
00:14:38.000 It is not a wildly left-wing place by any stretch of the imagination.
00:14:42.000 But they understand that if they want buy-in from the left, they're going to have to pretend that they're a left-wing place.
00:14:47.000 Presumably, this is why they are currently trotting out Sarah Ashton Cirillo, a trans woman from Nevada who came to Ukraine in March 2022 and has now become a spokesperson for the country's territorial defense force.
00:15:01.000 Last week, according to France24, Russian television showed an hour-long special calling Ashton Sirilla a terrible disgrace to the Ukrainian people and a monster.
00:15:10.000 19 months in, she's a junior sergeant and hosts live YouTube shows, says France24, from her studio called Ukraine in the Know and Russia Hates the Truth.
00:15:17.000 Ashton Sirilla does not even speak Ukrainian.
00:15:21.000 Her role includes monitoring international media.
00:15:23.000 By the way, these are obviously France24's pronouns.
00:15:25.000 In August, she announced a boycott of CNN after they called foreign fighters in Ukraine mercenaries.
00:15:31.000 Okay, so this is what Ukraine is doing.
00:15:32.000 Ukraine, as a propaganda ploy, is playing to the left, which is what they have to do, because the United States has now established a baseline standard, which is mirror the priorities of the left, or you will be excised, or at least you'll be at risk of being excised.
00:15:45.000 Get to more on this momentarily first.
00:15:47.000 You know what I'm missing right now?
00:15:48.000 My Helix Sleep Mantras.
00:15:49.000 I'll be honest with you.
00:15:50.000 As you can see, I'm here in Amazing Jerusalem during the Jewish holidays is a thing that if you bring my family over here, it means that I lose a bucket load of sleep.
00:15:58.000 And right now I am missing my Helix Sleep Mattress.
00:16:01.000 Man, I wish I had the Helix Elite.
00:16:03.000 Helix has harnessed years of extensive mattress expertise to bring their customers a truly elevated sleep experience.

00:16:54.000 Okay, so.
00:16:57.000 Why exactly is Zelensky mirroring the priorities of the left?
00:16:59.000 Because this is how you get the money.
00:17:01.000 The way you get access to the cash is by mirroring the priorities of the left.
00:17:05.000 And Joe Biden spelled out those priorities at the U.N., by the way, even when he wasn't mumbling incoherently.
00:17:10.000 So he spoke at the U.N.
00:17:12.000 yesterday, and as you would predict, he sounded absolutely nonsensical.
00:17:18.000 Here he was just babbling gobbledygook from his face hole.
00:17:22.000 Now, he doesn't involve our institutions.
00:17:25.000 and drive creative new partnerships. Let me be clear.
00:17:28.000 Certain principles are in the national system are sacrosanct. Let me be clear.
00:17:34.000 In terms of Steve Carell from Bruce Almighty.
00:17:40.000 I had What in the world is wrong with that guy?
00:17:43.000 But when he wasn't speaking incoherently, I mean at least physically incoherently, he was speaking incoherently about his values.
00:17:50.000 What are the values that America most champions according to Joe Biden?
00:17:53.000 Those values are climate change and LGBTQIA minus divided by sign.
00:17:58.000 Right.
00:17:58.000 Here was Joe Biden stumping for LGBTQIA plus divided by minus sign rights in a room with a bunch of countries that do not believe anything remotely like what Joe Biden believes.
00:18:09.000 We have to continue working to ensure that women and girls enjoy equal rights and equal participation in their societies.
00:18:16.000 That indigenous groups, racial, ethnic, religious, minorities, people with disabilities do not have the potential stifled by systemic discrimination.
00:18:28.000 That the LGBTQI plus people are not prosecuted or targeted with violence because of who they are.
00:18:37.000 These rights are part of our shared humanity.
00:18:41.000 When they're absent anywhere, their loss is felt everywhere.
00:18:46.000 Okay, so you wonder why Zelensky is appealing to Joe Biden's favorite priors?
00:18:51.000 That's the reason, guys.
00:18:52.000 That's the reason.
00:18:54.000 And a standard has been set up, and if you fulfill the standard, you have access to the cash, and if you don't, you don't.
00:19:00.000 You're tapped on the shoulder by the angel of leftism, and it gives you blanket immunity for pretty much anything, culturally, internationally.
00:19:08.000 That's just the way that it works these days.
00:19:10.000 By the way, how radical is this administration when it comes to climate change?
00:19:14.000 Kamala Harris is now mirroring the most insane lessons of the climate change movements.
00:19:17.000 She suggests that it's reasonable to not want to have kids because of climate change, which is totally wild.
00:19:23.000 You know, I've heard young leaders talk with me about a term they've coined called climate anxiety.
00:19:30.000 Right?
00:19:31.000 Which is fear of the future and the unknown, of whether it makes sense for you to even think about having children, whether it makes sense for you to think about aspiring to buy a home, because what will this climate be?
00:19:44.000 This is how crazy these people are.
00:19:46.000 And those are the priorities you're expected to mirror if you wish to be welcomed into polite company in the international meetings.
00:19:52.000 Get some more on all of this momentarily.
00:19:54.000 First, let's say that you are a captain of a small boat living in a small Massachusetts town.
00:20:01.000 And there are a couple shark attacks in the area.
00:20:04.000 And you're called upon to go out there and to go and stop the shark.
00:20:07.000 Well, before you head out on a boat that's too small, With, you know, like a sheriff and a guy who studies oceanography.
00:20:14.000 Before you do those things, you should get life insurance.
00:20:17.000 Because about the time the giant shark is chomping on your torso, you'd be thinking, should've listened to Shapiro, should've gotten life insurance, should've head on over to Policy Genius.
00:20:25.000 Policy Genius makes it easy to compare life insurance quotes from top companies and find your lowest price.

00:20:57.000 Head over to policygenius.com slash Shapiro or click the link in the description.
00:21:01.000 See how much you could save.
00:21:02.000 That's policygenius.com slash Shapiro.
00:21:05.000 Okay.
00:21:06.000 Meanwhile, just speaking of the value system over at the UN, one other piece of the value system we should add is that if you do not mirror the left-wing prescriptions, they'll censor you.
00:21:15.000 Just as we've mentioned with Russell Brand, this is part of the goal.
00:21:19.000 So Jacinda Ardern, who had to leave her job as the Prime Minister of New Zealand after basically turning it into a fascist island where everybody was forced into lockdown, and then nobody got vaccinated, as it turns out, which turned out to be a really, really bad policy, and who pursued censorship with tremendous enthusiasm.
00:21:36.000 Well, she was over at the UN bragging about how we need more censorship because free speech is a weapon of war.
00:21:44.000 How do you tackle climate change if people do not believe it exists?
00:21:48.000 How do you ensure the human rights of others are upheld when they are subjected to hateful and dangerous rhetoric and ideology?
00:21:57.000 The weapons may be different, but the goals of those who perpetuate them is often the same.
00:22:03.000 To cause chaos and reduce the ability of others to defend themselves.
00:22:07.000 To disband communities.
00:22:10.000 To collapse the collective strength of countries who work together.
00:22:14.000 But we have an opportunity here to ensure that these particular weapons of war do not become an established part of warfare.
00:22:23.000 I mean, this is crazy talk, what she's talking about, but it is part and parcel of what so many governments are now pushing for.
00:22:28.000 And part of the necessary platform for the left is to censor all the voices they don't like, which presumably is why the UK is now about to pass the so-called online safety bill.
00:22:38.000 It's ready to become law.
00:22:40.000 According to the government of the UK, the online safety bill has now passed its final parliamentary debate and is now ready to become law.
00:22:47.000 What exactly does it do?
00:22:49.000 Well, it takes a quote-unquote zero-tolerance approach to protecting children and makes sure social media platforms are held responsible for the content they host.
00:22:56.000 If they do not act rapidly to prevent and remove illegal content and stop children seeing material that is harmful to them, such as bullying, they will face significant fines that could reach billions of pounds.
00:23:05.000 In some cases, their bosses may even face prison.
00:23:07.000 So we're not talking here.
00:23:08.000 about creating algorithms that get rid of just illegal activity.
00:23:11.000 It goes much further than this.
00:23:13.000 This goes to things like bullying, which is pretty vaguely defined, or inappropriate content, pretty vaguely defined.
00:23:23.000 And making social media platforms responsible for all that obviously puts them in danger of bankruptcy.
00:23:29.000 It's setting standards for platforms like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok.
00:23:34.000 Technology Secretary Michelle Donilon said the bill was a, quote, game-changing piece of legislation.
00:23:39.000 She said the UK will be the safest place in the world to be online.
00:23:43.000 Well, why do I have a feeling that the government setting these standards is going to be very interested in what sort of material is now considered too disinformation laden to be allowed to cross your screen?
00:23:57.000 Yeah, no one is in favor of quote unquote harmful social media content.
00:24:01.000 The question is what constitutes harmful?
00:24:05.000 Platforms have to show they are committed to removing illegal content, which, again, I hear.
00:24:10.000 But, apparently, they also want to extend this into the realm of, for example, hate speech, which is really, really dangerous stuff.
00:24:21.000 There's a reason why the monopoly on informational dissemination has to be maintained, and that is, again, just another way to create a barrier to entry for anyone who disagrees with a generalized agenda.
00:24:32.000 Well all this is going to create a backlash.
00:24:34.000 It's going to create a backlash internationally and it's going to create a backlash right here in the United States.
00:24:38.000 You wonder why Donald Trump is pulling so well?
00:24:40.000 A lot of it is because if the agenda of the United States supposedly is climate change and transgender rights and censorship on the back of those two things, That's not something most Americans are for.
00:24:50.000 If you want to make the Ukraine war a proxy for cultural issues, it will become a proxy for cultural issues.
00:24:55.000 This is one of the reasons why Republican enthusiasm for the Ukrainian war and for backing Ukraine in that war has waned tremendously.
00:25:02.000 The minute it became a partisan issue, the enthusiasm began to decline markedly.
00:25:06.000 Representative Byron Donalds in Florida, he says, listen, on the House level, we are not interested in providing more funding for Ukraine at this point.
00:25:14.000 What is your message to Zelensky when he comes to the Capitol on Thursday?
00:25:17.000 He wants more money from Congress.
00:25:19.000 He claims that it's, you know, he says it's very important to stopping the war in Ukraine.
00:25:24.000 What message does it send that so many conservatives are opposed to more money for Ukraine?
00:25:28.000 The first thing I'll tell you is there's no money in the house right now for Ukraine.
00:25:33.000 It's not there.
00:25:33.000 You mean there's no support for money?
00:25:36.000 No.
00:25:37.000 And to be blunt, we're running a $2 trillion deficit.
00:25:40.000 Any money we give to Ukraine, we're borrowing from our future.
00:25:43.000 That's the facts.
00:25:44.000 Those are the truth.
00:25:44.000 You can feel how you want to feel about it.
00:25:46.000 I'm here to tell you what's right and what's real.
00:25:48.000 Okay, he happens to be correct about the fact that we are spending a boatload of money, but more importantly, it seems as though the leadership class in this country, particularly on the left, but I think overall, just doesn't have any connection to the things that people actually care about in the country.
00:26:03.000 At the same time that they're driving the economy into a brick wall, they are simultaneously pursuing mass illegal immigration, for example.
00:26:11.000 So on the one hand, you have the economy that is driving into a brick wall.
00:26:13.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, the Fed is about to face $100 oil An almost uninterrupted rise in oil prices has now pushed benchmark Brent crude close to $100 a barrel, posing a new challenge for central banks in their battle against inflation.
00:26:26.000 The rise is a victory for Saudi Arabia, which sought to bolster prices to fund a planned transformation of its oil-dependent economy.
00:26:32.000 Russia is another winner.
00:26:33.000 The two countries sparked a rally early this year when they said they would restrict supplies until the end of the year.
00:26:38.000 Now, what is exacerbating that?
00:26:40.000 Obviously, the unfriendly attitude of this administration toward more drilling and refining.
00:26:45.000 That obviously has been a major problem.
00:26:48.000 Meanwhile, the administration continues to back unions like the UAW, as the UAW puts the car industry in America on very, very tentative footing.
00:26:59.000 As the Wall Street Journal points out, the United Auto Workers strike is going on day five.
00:27:03.000 President Sean Fain has rejected the latest offer from Stellantis of a 21% pay raise over four years.
00:27:08.000 He keeps suggesting that corporate greed is the issue, yet it was telling this weekend when he refused to discuss the union's impact on future job creation.
00:27:16.000 Asked on CBS's Face the Nation how he would make the case to Detroit automakers to invest in more expensive union shops rather than moving to right-to-work states, Fain ducked.
00:27:24.000 He said that UAW worker pay shouldn't be compared to how pitiful Tesla pays their workers and other companies pay those workers.
00:27:29.000 He added, most of these workers and those companies are scraping to get by, so greedy CEOs and greedy people like Elon Musk can build more rocket ships and shoot herself into outer space.
00:27:38.000 Mr. Fain can criticize Musk all he wants, says the Wall Street Journal, but Tesla is the chief competitor to the Detroit automakers in the government-mandated electric vehicle race.
00:27:46.000 According to the SEC, the median worker at Tesla earned $34,000 last year in total compensation, compared to $80,000 at GM and $75,000 at Ford.
00:27:54.000 Stellantis said its average worker is earning $68,000.
00:27:57.000 These internal calculations include non-production-level workers as well as employees located in other countries.
00:28:03.000 Yet the U.S.
00:28:03.000 accounts for a larger share of Tesla's workforce than it does for Ford or Stellantis.
00:28:07.000 A large reason for the pay disparity?
00:28:08.000 Detroit's higher retirement costs.
00:28:11.000 So again, the unions negotiated incredibly lucrative contracts and it's killed a lot of jobs in Detroit.
00:28:19.000 So what is the Biden administration doing about all this?
00:28:22.000 They're backing the unions again.
00:28:25.000 So Randi Weingarten, who is another union head, who has a radically disgusting hand-in-glove relationship with the Biden administration.
00:28:32.000 It was she who was standing four square behind school closures for two years for no reason.
00:28:36.000 She's been backing the UAW strike.
00:28:40.000 Look at what's happening in both the entertainment industry and look what's happening in the auto industry, look at what's happening in terms of AI.
00:28:51.000 Every industrial revolution, sorry I'm a social studies teacher, every industrial revolution that has happened not only in the country but the world, There are winners and there are losers.
00:29:02.000 And the workers always seem to be the losers in every one of these transitions.
00:29:06.000 So I would actually root for the people in America to have a better life, to have this new industrial policy.
00:29:12.000 Look what has happened.
00:29:14.000 Manufacturing is coming back to America.
00:29:16.000 Made in America is now a thing.
00:29:19.000 So let's actually invest in the workers who have actually made these companies more profitable.
00:29:26.000 Okay, they've not made these companies more profitable.
00:29:28.000 Union contracts make the companies less profitable.
00:29:31.000 The only thing that made the companies more profitable over the last couple of years was massive supply chain defects.
00:29:35.000 I mean, which is why the prices are coming down and why, in the end, the Biden push for electric vehicles is going to make these companies far less profitable.
00:29:43.000 So how is the Biden administration responding to all of this?
00:29:46.000 To an ongoing strike in one of America's chief industries?
00:29:50.000 Well, they're sticking their DOJ on Elon Musk.
00:29:53.000 So if they can't make a deal between the UAW and the Big Three, instead they're going to go after Tesla, the competitors of the UAW, at this point.
00:30:01.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, federal prosecutors are scrutinizing personal benefits Tesla may have provided Elon Musk since 2017 as part of a criminal investigation examining issues including a proposed house for the chief executive.
00:30:12.000 Now, if you think this has nothing to do with Elon Musk's politics, and nothing to do with the fact that Tesla is the chief competitor to the Detroit Three, you got another thing coming.
00:30:19.000 Of course it's political.
00:30:20.000 Of course it's political.
00:30:22.000 The reason the DOJ is going after Elon Musk on this, the reason they went after him on SpaceX, remember, they're right now, the Civil Rights Division, is suing Elon Musk for not hiring enough refugees over at SpaceX, despite the fact that, as Musk says, you have to have security requirements fulfilled in order to work at SpaceX because it's a federal contractor with access to classified material.
00:30:43.000 The reason they're coming after Musk is eminently political.
00:30:45.000 He violates the rules.
00:30:47.000 Cross them, and this is what you face down.
00:30:51.000 Meanwhile, the same administration that is pressing forward with a stagnating economy with inflation, that's prioritizing climate change, that's prioritizing LGBTQ plus minus divided by sign issues over the baseline kitchen table issues of everyday Americans.
00:31:08.000 Meanwhile, they're facilitating illegal immigration at record levels.
00:31:11.000 We'll get to that momentarily.
00:31:12.000 First, are you a few decades or years out of school and wondering, what the heck did I even learn?
00:31:16.000 What exactly was the point?
00:31:18.000 Well, you might think to yourself, I don't have the time to learn something new.
00:31:20.000 Well, that's not true.
00:31:21.000 You're not alone.
00:31:21.000 It's not too late.
00:31:22.000 Since 1844, Hillsdale College has been providing education in faith, freedom, and character.
00:31:27.000 They've taken some of the core classes they teach on campus and made them available for free online for anyone who wants to learn.
00:31:32.000 That is correct.
00:31:32.000 Absolutely free.

00:31:36.000 Constitution and the Book of Genesis to free market economics.

00:31:53.000 It is very easy to get started.
00:31:55.000 Again, that's hillsdale.edu slash Shapiro to enroll.
00:31:58.000 Hillsdale.edu slash Shapiro.
00:32:00.000 Hillsdale College has been a premier educational institution in this country.
00:32:03.000 A reliable voice for traditional viewpoints and classics.
00:32:07.000 For literally decades.
00:32:08.000 I mean, I remember subscribing to Hillsdale's impromptus back when I was, you know, a teenager.
00:32:12.000 Hillsdale.edu slash Shapiro to enroll today.
00:32:15.000 Also, did you hold out on joining Jeremy's Razors?
00:32:18.000 Well, now is your chance to enter the woke free economy with the Precision 5 trial set.
00:32:22.000 One weighted handle, one Precision 5 razor with flip back trimmer.
00:32:24.000 One low price.
00:32:25.000 There's never been a better time to stop giving your cash to woke corporations that hate your guts.
00:32:29.000 Go to jeremysrazors.com, make that switch today.
00:32:32.000 Okay, meanwhile, as the elites in our country decide that the big issues you care about are things like climate change, they're just allowing illegal immigrants to flow unimpeded into the country.
00:32:40.000 According to Griff Jenkins, a national correspondent for Fox News, in the past four days, Friday through Monday, total migrant encounters at the southwestern border exceeded 35,000 at an average of nearly 9,000 per day, according to the Border Patrol.
00:32:55.000 The exact count is 35,573 encounters, nearly 9,000 daily average.
00:33:01.000 That does not include known gotaways.
00:33:04.000 Those are huge numbers, obviously.
00:33:07.000 And as it turns out, the illegal immigration problem is becoming a permanent feature of American life.
00:33:12.000 According to a fascinating report by Spencer Lindquist over at the Daily Wire, There's a community called Colony Ridge in Texas.
00:33:20.000 And apparently it has become basically a giant settlement spot for illegal immigrants.
00:33:25.000 Spencer tweeted, Have you heard about America's largest illegal immigrant settlement that's said to be a hub of cartel activity?
00:33:30.000 I visited Colony Ridge for Daily Wire to learn about a development that's home to 40,000 to 75,000 people and is in the midst of a rapid expansion.
00:33:36.000 Here is what I found.
00:33:38.000 You can see this giant grid.
00:33:47.000 dead.
00:33:47.000 I'm going to go get my coffee.
00:33:48.000 House is being built, and all the rest.
00:33:52.000 Well, according to Spencer, a Texas land developer has established a sprawling settlement north of Houston where thousands of illegal immigrants are believed to have settled, raising concerns among experts and elected officials that the development 400 miles in the interior of the United States could become a strategic asset for the cartels.
00:34:07.000 Apparently, it sprawls across nearly 60 square miles about the size of Washington, D.C.
00:34:11.000 It's 40 miles outside Houston.
00:34:13.000 Much of Colony Ridge is a third-world shantytown where foreign flags outnumber American ones.
00:34:18.000 How do we know that's a hotbed for illegal aliens?
00:34:20.000 And he says, let me show you.
00:34:25.000 And here he is driving through town.
00:34:27.000 Got half-built houses with people living in them.
00:34:32.000 People living in tents and trailers.
00:34:38.000 Located in Liberty County, Texas, near the small town of Plum Grove, the Colony Ridge Development is a sprawling community that, based on an analysis of publicly available information, is growing.
00:34:47.000 It's estimated to be anywhere between 50,000 to 75,000 people.
00:34:51.000 Why?
00:34:51.000 Because of a plan targeted at Texas' Hispanic population.
00:34:54.000 The Daily Wire surveyed the development by helicopter to assess the true extent of its growth.
00:34:59.000 Houses on the ground fly the flags of foreign countries.
00:35:02.000 Many homes display their addresses on spray-painted pieces of plywood.
00:35:05.000 Many structures, many of which are not hooked up to running water, were under construction.
00:35:08.000 Others were unfinished but didn't appear to be actively getting worked on.
00:35:11.000 At least one plot of land didn't have any structures at all, just a tent in the corner nestled between the shrubs.
00:35:16.000 Despite what appeared to be poor living conditions throughout much of the development, Colony Ridge is exploding.
00:35:20.000 The view from the sky revealed a sprawling labyrinth of roundabouts and endless rows of sidewalkless streets with empty plots waiting to be developed.
00:35:28.000 Apparently, according to Daily Wire, Colony Ridge, owned and operated by a developer named William Trey Harris, is rapidly expanding, at least in part, to a financing arrangement that makes it possible for illegal aliens to buy land deep in the heart of Texas.
00:35:40.000 While traditional financing methods require credit ratings and proof of income, Todd Bensman, a National Security Fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Daily Wire that buyers at Colony Ridge are able to circumvent the usual requirements, even dodging the need to provide a social security number.
00:35:54.000 Benzmann said because of the traditional bank loan you have to show you have a credit rating and proof of income.
00:35:59.000 He says that now loans are being created where all you need is a few hundred dollars down as a down payment.
00:36:06.000 The loan is directly from the developer bypassing traditional mortgages.
00:36:10.000 The buyer might pay high interest rates near 15% but that's a great deal for somebody who has no other option to buy land at all.
00:36:17.000 They encourage potential buyers to reach out via WhatsApp.
00:36:21.000 The plots of land come with nothing on them at an affordable price.
00:36:23.000 The current offer is two adjacent plots of land for $65,000.
00:36:25.000 Ben's been told the daily where Collin Ridge is in the midst of maybe its greatest boom ever.
00:36:32.000 So, again, we are just creating, apparently, massive cities filled with illegal immigrants, thanks to Joe Biden.
00:36:39.000 So things are going spectacularly.
00:36:41.000 Now, all Republicans have to do right here is pick up the chips, right?
00:36:44.000 All the chips are on the table.
00:36:45.000 That's all Republicans have to do.
00:36:46.000 Avoid doing stupid stuff.
00:36:48.000 That's pretty much it.
00:36:49.000 Unfortunately, as we've been talking about a lot lately, the Republicans have an unfortunate habit of jumping with both feet onto every rake in sight.
00:36:57.000 So now, apparently, the GOP is headed directly for a government shutdown.
00:37:03.000 Matt Gaetz is saying openly he wants some sort of government shutdown.
00:37:08.000 We can't blame Joe Biden and the Democrats for why the Republican-controlled House of Representatives hasn't passed single-subject spending bills.
00:37:14.000 That's our fault.
00:37:16.000 So we have to deal with that.
00:37:17.000 We will likely have to endorse some degree of a shutdown.
00:37:20.000 Okay.
00:37:21.000 Or, alternatively, you have to deal with the reality on the ground, which is a Democratic Senate and, you know, a Democrat as the President of the United States.
00:37:28.000 According to Politico, House GOP hardliners blocked debate on their own party's defense spending bill on Tuesday, making Pentagon funding the latest casualty of a civil war between McCarthy and his conservative critics.
00:37:37.000 Republican rebels blocked the annual defense appropriations bill in a procedural vote, delivering their stunning loss to McCarthy and Hawks, who sought to break an impasse over federal spending that forced leaders to yank the legislation last week.
00:37:48.000 Many conservatives withheld their vote on the Pentagon bill to force Republican leaders to take a harder line on a stopgap in order to keep the lights on.
00:37:55.000 Ultimately, the procedural vote failed on the $826 billion defense spending bill, known as a rule, and it failed in a 212 to 214 vote on Tuesday.
00:38:04.000 Five Republicans defected on the procedural vote, which almost always falls along party lines.
00:38:10.000 Just phenomenal.
00:38:12.000 Again, I don't even see what exactly is the ask at this point.
00:38:15.000 of blocked military funding for the past week.
00:38:17.000 And again, I don't even see what exactly is the ask at this point.
00:38:22.000 What exactly is it that you are asking for?
00:38:25.000 It makes very little sense at all.
00:38:27.000 When you're getting made fun of by John Fetterman, you're doing things wrong.
00:38:30.000 Here is John Fetterman, who I will say John Fetterman, he's been appearing on TV lately, with a mustache.
00:38:35.000 So the beard is gone.
00:38:36.000 Remember he had the Lincoln beard.
00:38:38.000 Now he looks like an old-timey Western bartender who was once kicked in the head by a horse.
00:38:42.000 Here he is with Chris Hayes, jabbering nonsensically.
00:38:47.000 The House today looks like it's falling apart.
00:38:49.000 You've already got 17 no votes in that House Republican caucus saying we're not passing anything.
00:38:54.000 What do you think's happening here?
00:38:55.000 Yeah, you know, like, truly, I was very proud of my colleagues, you know, because they're really about governance.
00:39:02.000 That's what it is.
00:39:03.000 And on the other, the House, the whatever they call themselves, Team America or whatever they call themselves, I just like, hey, I just like, bring your vote.
00:39:12.000 You know, otherwise, you know, they need to go hump a different leg.
00:39:15.000 Go hump a different leg, says Jon Fetterman.
00:39:17.000 So yeah, I mean, that guy is not fully functional, and now we're setting up actual Senate rules to accommodate the fact that he wants to wear gym shorts, even though I'm not sure that he has ever worked out in his life by the look of him.
00:39:27.000 Doesn't matter.
00:39:28.000 When John Fetterman is making fun of you and succeeding, that's not exactly a win for Republicans.
00:39:33.000 And meanwhile, again, there are tons of things for Republicans to talk about in this election cycle, ranging from Joe Biden's incompetence to his corruption.
00:39:40.000 All that stuff is on the table to talk about.
00:39:43.000 So what are Republicans talking about?
00:39:44.000 Well, whatever is the latest revelation in the Donald Trump cases, of course.
00:39:48.000 And again, that's not up to Trump now because he ceded that ground when he took activities, particularly with regard to classified documents that put him directly in the crosshairs.
00:39:58.000 If you are a person who has the biggest target in human history on your back, which is probably the case of Donald Trump in terms of media hating you, why would you put yourself squarely in the crowd?
00:40:08.000 Why would you make that target gigantic?
00:40:10.000 We're now learning, according to particular sources, that one of Donald Trump's aides, a woman named Molly Michael, she apparently has told authorities that Donald Trump attempted to obstruct justice or suborn perjury.
00:40:27.000 According to ABC News, sources said Michael told federal investigators that last year she grew increasingly concerned with how Trump handled a recurring request from the National Archives for the return of all government documents being kept in boxes at Mar-a-Lago.
00:40:37.000 She felt Trump's claims about it at the time would be easy to disprove, according to the sources.
00:40:41.000 Sources said that after Trump heard the FBI wanted to interview Michael last year, he said, quote, you don't know anything about the boxes.
00:40:47.000 It's unclear what exactly he meant by that, but this is leading a lot of people to suggest that he knew that she knew about the boxes and therefore He was basically telling her to fib to the FBI.
00:40:58.000 Again, none of this stuff is particularly good for Donald Trump.
00:41:01.000 It just isn't.
00:41:03.000 On the other hand, it is amazing how the DOJ continues to show its corrupt hand.
00:41:08.000 So, as many of you know, there's been a large controversy surrounding Ray Epps.
00:41:13.000 Ray Epps has been targeted by people including Tucker Carlson.
00:41:16.000 He was a participant in the January 6th riots.
00:41:19.000 There's tape of him telling people to go into the Capitol building.
00:41:22.000 There's tape of him the night before telling people to head over and invade the Capitol building.
00:41:25.000 And all the rest of this.
00:41:26.000 And then he was never charged.
00:41:27.000 And because he was never charged, the suspicion was, on the part of a lot of people on the right, that he must have been some sort of government plant.
00:41:33.000 Well, now apparently the DOJ is charging him, but they are charging him with one misdemeanor count of disorderly or disruptive conduct on restricted grounds.
00:41:42.000 Now, a lot of people on the right are going to say, why does he get charged with pretty much nothing when there are other people who did not all that much on January 6th, like wandered around the building and spent months or years in jail?
00:41:53.000 Why is that?
00:41:55.000 He's going to claim, law enforcement is going to claim it's because he cooperated, that when he saw his name on TV, he called up law enforcement.
00:42:01.000 Apparently he's going to plead guilty to the charge.
00:42:04.000 But slap-on-the-wrist charges, post facto, don't look much like justice to the vast majority of people who watch this stuff play out.
00:42:10.000 Meanwhile, over in Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, who's the governor of Pennsylvania, is promoting Pennsylvania's brand new program for automatic voter registration.
00:42:19.000 It's pretty much like California's motor voter law.
00:42:21.000 There are apparently half a dozen states or a dozen states that already have this on the books.
00:42:25.000 You're automatically registered to vote.
00:42:27.000 When you get a driver's license, here's Josh Shapiro championing this in Pennsylvania.
00:42:31.000 I am proud to announce that for the first time ever, Pennsylvania is an automatic voter registration state.
00:42:37.000 That's right.
00:42:38.000 From now on, when you get or renew your driver's license or an ID card at the DMV, you'll be registered to vote unless you choose not to.
00:42:46.000 I made a commitment when I was campaigning for this office that we would bring automatic voter registration to Pennsylvania and break down the barriers for legal eligible voters.
00:42:56.000 This is a key step to make our elections more secure.
00:43:00.000 Adding important levels of verification to the voter registration process.
00:43:04.000 And by expanding voter registration at our DMVs, we'll save taxpayers time and money, reduce the number of costly paper registrations, So I'm wondering how it actually adds voter security to have people simultaneously register to vote automatically.
00:43:18.000 But okay, let's assume that's all the case.
00:43:21.000 This makes Pennsylvania the 24th state to actually roll out this sort of automatic voter registration process.
00:43:27.000 Now, I understand why there are a lot of people on the right who are very exercised over this.
00:43:30.000 A lot of people think that You know, this paves the way for, for example, ballot harvesting.
00:43:34.000 And they're not wrong.
00:43:35.000 And the fact is that according to RealClearPennsylvania.com, Athen Koutsiorombis writing, He says, prior to the pandemic, Pennsylvania had passed an election reform law enabling mail-in voting.
00:43:50.000 Unlike in-person voting, which requires no voter ID, Pennsylvania's mail-in ballot process requires the applicant to provide ID, either a driver's license or a social security number.
00:43:59.000 County boards of elections are required to verify the information or a ballot can't be cast.
00:44:02.000 Pennsylvania's mail-in voting has more fail-safes than traditional in-person voting.
00:44:06.000 For fraud to occur with mail-in balloting at a scale that can affect a statewide election, it has to happen in two points.
00:44:11.000 Harvesters illegally obtaining lists of driver's licenses or social security numbers to complete applications and then cast ballots without voters' knowledge.
00:44:17.000 Or, Board of Elections workers conspiring to invalidate applications.
00:44:22.000 So, is there a lot of ballot harvesting?
00:44:24.000 Well, yeah, there's tons of ballot harvesting in Pennsylvania's suburbs.
00:44:30.000 So is that going to be exacerbated ballots?
00:44:32.000 Sure.
00:44:33.000 I mean, the more eligible voters there are, the more you're going to have people who are basically paid by the parties to go pick up the votes.
00:44:38.000 But Republicans have a couple of choices here.
00:44:40.000 One, they can whine about it.
00:44:41.000 They can complain about it.
00:44:42.000 Two, they could just go out and make sure that every Republican is registered to vote.
00:44:47.000 They could ballot harvest themselves.
00:44:49.000 And one of the things I cannot stand is when Republicans complain about the playing rules with no plan to change them, while simultaneously ignoring, you know, actually being able to win with these rules.
00:44:59.000 The reality is that in Florida, a lot of these rules are already obtained.
00:45:03.000 And guess what?
00:45:04.000 Florida is a big Republican state.
00:45:06.000 I mean, the fact is that if you look at a list of the states that have automatic voter registration, that list is not all left-wing states.
00:45:15.000 Some of the states that already have automatic voter registration, those include, for example, West Virginia, Michigan.
00:45:23.000 They include the state of Georgia.
00:45:26.000 There are a lot of states that don't have all those things, but there are some of those states that already do.
00:45:30.000 Is it the end of the world in those states?
00:45:31.000 No.
00:45:32.000 Here's the answer.
00:45:32.000 Win.
00:45:33.000 The answer is win.
00:45:34.000 You can make excuses or you can go out and you can win.
00:45:36.000 And it seems to me that Republicans need to stop making excuses and go out and do whatever they can to do in order to win these elections.
00:45:42.000 By the way, they are doing some of the right things in Pennsylvania.
00:45:44.000 I am impressed with the fact that Doug Mastroianno, who is apparently considering a A senatorial run against Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania has decided not to do so.
00:45:54.000 He has instead endorsed McCormick in his potential Senate run.
00:45:57.000 McCormick was an excellent candidate who probably should have been the nominee last time against John Fetterman.
00:46:01.000 He probably would run stronger than Mehmet Oz.
00:46:04.000 So him running again, I think is a very good move.
00:46:07.000 Okay, time for a quick thing that I like and then a thing that I hate.
00:46:12.000 So, things that I like today.
00:46:13.000 You gotta give credit where credit is due.
00:46:15.000 The ladies of The View occasionally are correct.
00:46:17.000 And apparently, they're now saying that it's dumb for the Senate to change its dress code just because John Fetterman likes to wear gym shorts.
00:46:23.000 Wow, good for them!
00:46:24.000 You know, really, congratulations on saying something occasionally right.
00:46:28.000 And when constituents came in, they would even dress up.
00:46:31.000 They'd be like, these are chambers that Abraham Lincoln walked in, John McCain, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson.
00:46:37.000 There's a hallowed sort of ground to it, even if at times our current representatives tended to face it a bit.
00:46:42.000 I too walked all of those halls, and I walked into the Supreme Court building, and I walked into federal courtrooms all the time.
00:46:50.000 And you don't wear jeans, and you don't wear hoodies, and you don't wear what you would wear coming out of the gym.
00:46:55.000 It's like the very least.
00:46:57.000 Well, I mean, good for them.
00:47:02.000 Wow.
00:47:02.000 And there's a shock I did not, I will admit, I did not see that one coming.
00:47:05.000 Okay, time for a quick thing that I hate.
00:47:11.000 So, as you may notice, I'm here in Israel.
00:47:13.000 You can see the backdrop of Jerusalem behind me.
00:47:16.000 There's a new poll out from APNORC, and it finds that while Americans generally view Israel as a U.S.
00:47:22.000 partner or ally, many question whether the two countries share the same interests and values.
00:47:25.000 So first of all, no two countries share identical interests.
00:47:28.000 Let's just be real about this.
00:47:29.000 The UK does not share identical interests with the United States.
00:47:32.000 Neither does France, neither does Germany.
00:47:34.000 Countries have their own interests.
00:47:35.000 That's just the reality.
00:47:36.000 However, the notion that there is no crossover between Israel and the United States in terms of values is obviously untrue.
00:47:42.000 Israel is, in fact, a multi-religious democracy.
00:47:47.000 It is a Jewish state, but it has a sizable Arab minority, Muslim minority.
00:47:52.000 Many Christians live here.
00:47:55.000 It's a partisan breakdown question, and the reason it's a partisan breakdown question has less to do with Israel and more to do with the left's view of what American values are.
00:48:01.000 So, according to this poll, about 4 in 10 Americans said Israel is a partner the U.S.
00:48:05.000 should cooperate with, but doesn't share the U.S.' 's interests and values.
00:48:08.000 Those results revealed a partisan split.
00:48:10.000 More than half of Democrats said Israel is a partner that does not share American values and interests, but should be cooperated with, compared with 32% of Republicans who said the same.
00:48:20.000 Because it turns out that Republicans overall believe that Israel does share values with the United States.
00:48:24.000 Why?
00:48:24.000 Because Israel's values generally include things like patriotism and Judeo-Christian values.
00:48:29.000 In the Judeo part of Judeo-Christian, Judaic values, like religious values, some sort of communal These are things the left forcibly dislikes.
00:48:42.000 And so when they look at a country like Israel, they don't like that very much.
00:48:46.000 They don't like that Israel is a nationalistic country, despite the fact that America has historically been a very nationalistic and patriotic country.
00:48:54.000 The fact that this is a partisan breakdown, it's pretty clear what's happening here and has less to do with the redefinition of Israel and much more to do with the redefinition of America along hard left lines.
00:49:03.000 Joe Biden, for his part here, has really helped to fracture relations between the state of Israel and the United States.
00:49:10.000 That's because he has been effectively intervening in Israeli politics, in domestic politics, in a way that is rather unprecedented.
00:49:18.000 I mean, Israel, as far as I'm aware, has never really sounded off on, for example, how the Supreme Court adjudicates Roe versus Wade.
00:49:24.000 But that's basically what Joe Biden has done with regard to judicial reform in the state of Israel.
00:49:28.000 And that's because he believes, I suppose, that he can get an ally on the left to be the prime minister of Israel if he pushes hard enough.
00:49:36.000 But, you know, again, I'll say it again.
00:49:40.000 That is much more a reflection, this poll, of how the left thinks about America and American values than it is a reflection of Israel changing in any significant way.
00:49:48.000 All right, guys.
00:49:49.000 The rest of the show continues right now.
