Summary

The White House Correspondents Dinner is an open celebration of the elite class who scratch each other's back. It's like the Met Gala except it's all journalists, and Republicans and Democrats all getting together to prove the thesis that there is a uni-party of elites who like each other and hang out behind closed doors and actually don't care very much about the people they are supposed to represent. Remember, all of these people are meant to be representing you. The press is supposed to be out there asking hard questions of all politicians so that you, the consumer, the voter, get the choices that you have been promised. The politicians are supposed be your representatives, representing your interests in the halls of power. Instead, they're all patting each other on the back, and then they reward each other for having patted each other. It all feels very Hunger Games, and it all feels like a lot of people getting together and patting themselves for just how much they actually Like Each Other. Like, underneath it all, we like Each other. What common values unite these people? But if you're talking about an event where everybody gets together and then you discuss a variety of different viewpoints, that just celebrates what we all make common, that's a different thing. And then you're sitting at the same table and talking to the same people you don't have a common point of view? It doesn't look like you're fighting for the same thing. It looks like a sham, doesn't it? Don't you agree with each other? Don t t tux? Don't tux, don't you? You're all fighting for a common cause? And that doesn't seem like a common viewpoint? It doesn t look like a bit of a day in day, does it? And that looks a bit like you are fighting for something that you all share a common perspective? That doesn't sound like you all fight for a little bit of money, which is a sham of a guy who doesn't really fight for the common man, which doesn't fight for something you're supposedly fighting for? and that doesn t fight for you doesn t really look like fighting for you, does that sound like a good day in a bit? don t t it? Don t get me tuxedos, do you tux tuxedo, do t t ts? I don t know, do yo?

00:00:00.000 So, it's the worst event of the year.
00:00:02.000 Well, other than the State of the Union.
00:00:03.000 I hate the State of the Union.
00:00:04.000 But this one may be even worse.
00:00:05.000 The State of the Union is about the monarchic institution of the presidency and the legislature pretending that we actually have a constitutional monarchy in some way.
00:00:13.000 The White House Correspondents' Dinner is just a perfectly open celebration of the elite class who scratch each other's back.
00:00:19.000 And it's really disgusting.
00:00:20.000 It's truly gross.
00:00:21.000 It's like the Met Gala, except the Met Gala actually included journalists, and Republicans and Democrats all getting together to prove
00:00:29.000 the thesis that there is in fact a quote unquote uni-party of elites who really like each other and
00:00:33.000 hang out behind closed doors and actually don't care very much about the people they are supposed to
00:00:37.000 represent. Remember all of these people are supposed to be representing you right the press
00:00:41.000 are supposed to be out there asking hard questions of all politicians so that you the consumer the
00:00:46.000 voter you get the choices that you have been promised.
00:00:49.000 The politicians, they are supposed to be your representatives, representing your opinions in the hall of power, representing your interests in the halls of power.
00:00:56.000 Instead, they're all getting together, and they're patting each other on the back, and then they're rewarding each other for having patted each other on the back.
00:01:03.000 And it really is like the Hollywood elites, and the journalistic elites, and the media elites, they all get together with the political elites, and then they demonstrate that they're all part of the blob, right?
00:01:12.000 When people talk about the blob in Washington, D.C., this is what they are talking about.
00:01:16.000 Now again, there's nothing wrong with having friends who are across the political aisle from you.
00:01:20.000 There isn't.
00:01:20.000 There's nothing wrong with going to confabs with people you disagree with so that you can speak with them about the matters of disagreement and maybe give them your point of view.
00:01:28.000 There is something wrong with people all getting together to celebrate why they are so superior to everyone else and none of the standards apply to them.
00:01:35.000 And that's what the White House Correspondents' Dinner has turned into pretty much every year.
00:01:41.000 It's why Donald Trump To his credit, boycotted the White House Correspondents Dinner.
00:01:45.000 Also, he was willing to recognize, as apparently many other Republicans are not, that the White House Correspondents Dinner is just a place where people hate Republicans, at least hate conservatives, hate people who do not follow the party line.
00:01:57.000 And so Trump was like, I'm just not in.
00:01:59.000 I'm not going to go because it's just the same thing as a Comedy Central Democratic Party roast.
00:02:04.000 But a bunch of Republicans showed up to this one.
00:02:06.000 And you can tell who's who by who showed up.
00:02:08.000 According to Politico, Brittany Griner showed up with Gayle King.
00:02:11.000 RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel walked over to DNC Chair Jamie Harrison, their first in-person meeting.
00:02:17.000 Kellyanne Conway chatted with Maine Governor Janet Mills.
00:02:19.000 Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer Pose with Julia Fox in black swan makeup.
00:02:23.000 NRCC Chair Richard Hudson became starry-eyed when he met Justin Hartland from his all-time favorite TV show, This Is Us.
00:02:30.000 A climate activist obstructed Ron Klain's path into the Hilton.
00:02:32.000 Tennessee State Representative Justin Pearson confronted a woman for pushing his fiancée.
00:02:36.000 Stars and reporters at the Fox News table looked uncomfortable during jokes about Tucker Carlson.
00:02:42.000 Jonathan Karl chatting with Anthony Fauci.
00:02:44.000 Anthony Blinken talking to Dasha and Yulia Navalnaya.
00:02:47.000 Jeff Nussbaum chatting with Chris Tanuno.
00:02:49.000 It's all the glitterati, and they're all together because they're all part of the same general coterie.
00:02:55.000 Parties are parties, but this is a public party, and it is designed to demonstrate to the American public that these are the members of your governing class.
00:03:01.000 It all feels very Hunger Games.
00:03:03.000 All these people getting together and patting themselves on the back for just how much they actually like each other.
00:03:07.000 Like, underneath it all, we like each other.
00:03:09.000 Now, here's the question.
00:03:11.000 What common values unite these people?
00:03:13.000 Right?
00:03:13.000 If you're going to have an event where everybody gets together, and then, again, they sort of discuss the issues from a variety of different viewpoints, that's a different thing.
00:03:20.000 But if you're talking about an event that just celebrates what we share, and the thing that you share is that you all make a lot of money, and that you all share a common political viewpoint, which is generally socially liberal, And that you all generally share a widespread belief that you are sort of superior to the common man.
00:03:39.000 Don your tux.
00:03:40.000 You go to a place where they give you all sorts of swag and really nice dinners, and then you listen to famous comedians talking, and you're sitting at the same table with people who you supposedly are fighting day in and day out.
00:03:51.000 It all looks like a bit of a sham, doesn't it?
00:03:53.000 It all looks like a bit of a sham.
00:03:54.000 Just to introduce you to what the White House Correspondents' Dinner is, this is kind of symbolic.
00:03:59.000 This whole thing is very symbolic.
00:04:00.000 So, here is John Legend walking into this thing with Chrissy Teigen.
00:04:05.000 In the background, you can see a bunch of left-wing protesters carrying signs that say, Biden, end fossil fuels.
00:04:11.000 And the left-wing glitterati, who presumably took a private jet in from Los Angeles, they are walking through this crowd, and Chrissy Teigen is having her train, she has a dress with a train, handled by a couple of servants, like a couple of people who work for her, as she walks through the crowd toward the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
00:04:30.000 There you can see it.
00:04:32.000 And you got some trans protesters over there.
00:04:36.000 They're just walking right through, and there she is, having her train held by not one, not two, but three separate people who are holding her train as she walks into this event in Washington, D.C.
00:04:48.000 And just to demonstrate how close are the connections between all the people who are in the room, at the very top of the White House Correspondents' Dinner, ABC News' Karen Travers gave an award to The Washington Post's Matt Visor.
00:05:00.000 As the best journalist of the year, what exactly did Matt Visor report on?
00:05:05.000 Let her explain.
00:05:06.000 Although Beckman Award for overall excellence in White House coverage is named for a former
00:05:11.000 association president, the late Chicago Tribune correspondent Aldo Beckman.
00:05:16.000 This year, the award goes to Matt Visor of The Washington Post.
00:05:21.000 The judge.
00:05:24.000 The judges said Matt Visor stood out among his competitors for work that went beyond
00:05:28.000 the humdrum of covering the managed events of the presidency in the White House.
00:05:33.000 Visor captured the spirit of Joe Biden, particularly with stories about the president's brother and how his Catholic faith influenced his strategic vision of the office.
00:05:43.000 So, for kiss-assery, the award goes to Matt Visor of the Washington Post.
00:05:47.000 And then, Matt Visor of the Washington Post, he gets up, he accepts the award, and then he's making kissy face with Joe Biden.
00:05:52.000 This is the relationship between the press and the Democratic administration.
00:05:56.000 And by the way, half of the Republicans, apparently.
00:05:59.000 This is the relationship.
00:06:00.000 And it's really gross.
00:06:01.000 And you wonder why the outsider appeal of people like Donald Trump was so big in 2016?
00:06:05.000 It is because of this thing.
00:06:07.000 It is because there are many of us out here who take politics quite seriously.
00:06:10.000 And who actually care about the policies that emerged from Washington, D.C.
00:06:12.000 and don't understand why these people, why John Legend and Chrissy Teigen and Matt Visor and Joe Biden are the people who are sort of controlling how policy works in the country and why idiot Republicans would go to this thing and then go along with it.
00:06:23.000 Like, why?
00:06:24.000 What is the point of it?
00:06:26.000 Is the hobnobbing making the world better?
00:06:28.000 Again, this is not an exchange of ideas.
00:06:29.000 This is a celebration of what we share in common.
00:06:32.000 What do you share in common?
00:06:33.000 What is it that you share in common?
00:06:34.000 Do you share in common the perspective of the great leader?
00:06:37.000 As we'll see, Joe Biden did a quote-unquote comedy routine that was not particularly comedic.
00:06:42.000 We'll get to that momentarily first.
00:06:44.000 President Trump recently issued a warning from Mar-a-Lago.
00:06:49.000 He said, quote, Now, the reality is that the dollar is, in fact, softening as of late.
00:06:55.000 There are three reasons central banks are starting to move away from the U.S.
00:06:57.000 dollar.
00:06:58.000 Inflation, deficit spending, and our insurmountable national debt, which, of course, are all related to one another.
00:07:04.000 There's one asset that you can rely upon to withstand famine, war, political and economic upheaval.
00:07:08.000 This goes back thousands of years.
00:07:10.000 This, of course, is gold.
00:07:11.000 I have gold from Birch Gold in preparation for uncertain economic times, and you can trust them as well.
00:07:15.000 You can own gold in a tax shelter retirement account with the help of Birch Gold.
00:07:18.000 That's correct.
00:07:18.000 Birch Gold will help you convert an existing IRA or 401K, maybe from a previous employer, into an IRA in gold.
00:07:24.000 The best part?
00:07:24.000 You don't pay a penny out of pocket.
00:07:26.000 When currencies fail, gold is a safe haven.
00:07:28.000 How much more time does the dollar have?
00:07:30.000 Well, I mean, I don't know the answer to that and neither do you, which is one reason why you should diversify.
00:07:33.000 Protect your savings with gold the way that I did.
00:07:35.000 Birch Gold has an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.
00:07:37.000 Thousands of happy customers.
00:07:38.000 Text BEN to 989898.
00:07:40.000 Get your free info kit on gold.
00:07:41.000 Again, text BEN to 989898 today.
00:07:44.000 Diversification is your smart financial strategy.
00:07:47.000 Text BEN to 989898 to get started.
00:07:48.000 Okay, so.
00:07:52.000 The White House Correspondents Dinner, again, the reason I'm spending a lot of time on this is because the White House Correspondents Dinner is indicative of the nature of American politics.
00:07:59.000 An elite glitterati who have merged Hollywood, journalism, and the Democratic Party.
00:08:05.000 And they all work in tandem with one another.
00:08:06.000 This is why Barack Obama, who is a politician, has a Netflix deal in Hollywood.
00:08:10.000 It is why Hollywood makes movies about journalists who then cover D.C.
00:08:14.000 It's all the blob.
00:08:15.000 It's all the same.
00:08:16.000 And there are many blobs in D.C.
00:08:17.000 You know, you've heard Donald Trump talk about the blob of the State Department and the administrative state.
00:08:22.000 Agreed.
00:08:22.000 All of that is true.
00:08:23.000 But all of those people are worshipping at the altar of the smaller, higher-class blob.
00:08:28.000 And the White House Correspondents' Dinner?
00:08:30.000 Is within the radius of a few hundred yards.
00:08:33.000 That correspondence dinner is the cultural blob that from which virtually all big ideas spring and where consensus is created that is very different from the consensus of the American people.
00:08:46.000 So the person who was the emcee was a person named Robert Wood Jr.
00:08:50.000 I guess I'd never heard of this person.
00:08:52.000 I guess this guy is on Comedy Central and he's done some guest spots on Trevor Noah's Comedy Central program.
00:08:57.000 So he is a a fraction of the fame of Trevor Noah, who had like seven viewers in the first place, which means that they love him over in Washington, D.C.
00:09:04.000 So here he was introducing Joe Biden at the at the White House Correspondent Center.
00:09:10.000 Y'all give it up for Dark Brandon.
00:09:12.000 Thank you.
00:09:14.000 Thank you.
00:09:16.000 Happy to be here.
00:09:18.000 Real quick, Mr. President, I think you left some of your classified documents up here.
00:09:21.000 You can get them.
00:09:24.000 Roy Wood, Jr., rather.
00:09:25.000 That's how little I know about this human being.
00:09:27.000 CNN, meanwhile, is offstage doing the red carpet thing because, again, there's no difference between e-entertainment and CNN.
00:09:34.000 They're all the same.
00:09:35.000 Here is CNN covering the White House Correspondents' Dinner as Joe Biden surprises them by getting up to the podium.
00:09:41.000 Now I want to toss back to one of my favorite reality TV stars, John Berman and Jessica Dean.
00:09:47.000 Thank you, yeah.
00:09:48.000 Phil is, oh there's the president right there walking into the ballroom at the Capitol Hilton.
00:09:53.000 President Roy Wood we already saw up there on the dais, the vice president as well, and now the president himself is there.
00:10:03.000 Harry, if we still have you, as we're watching this.
00:10:07.000 Yes.
00:10:08.000 Harry, will you just ask Phil if he hasn't walked away who he's wearing tonight?
00:10:14.000 Did you hear that question, Tom?
00:10:16.000 Who are you wearing?
00:10:16.000 It's so obnoxious.
00:10:17.000 It's so obnoxious.
00:10:19.000 Hollywood is Hollywood.
00:10:20.000 Journalism should be journalism.
00:10:21.000 The politicians should be the politicians, but they're not.
00:10:23.000 They're all the time.
00:10:24.000 You know who knows that?
00:10:25.000 Joe Biden.
00:10:25.000 Joe Biden, he is going to exploit that to the hilt.
00:10:28.000 So Biden gets up and he does a half quasi-comedy routine and half a stump speech.
00:10:33.000 So he begins by talking about how the free press is a pillar of American democracy.
00:10:39.000 Of course, by free press, he means people who just are stenographers for him.
00:10:42.000 He means the Praetorian Guard who prevent him from having to answer any difficult questions.
00:10:46.000 Of course he thinks they're pillars of democracy because they never ask him a tough question.
00:10:50.000 They allow him to get away with everything.
00:10:51.000 In fact, half of his routine was laughing at the press for not asking him tough questions.
00:10:55.000 Here was Joe Biden last night.
00:10:57.000 Jill, Kamala, Doug and I and members of our administration are here to send a message to the country and quite frankly to the world.
00:11:07.000 The free press is a pillar Maybe the pillar of free society, not the enemy.
00:11:15.000 Well, they're not your enemy.
00:11:17.000 And they're not even your opponents.
00:11:18.000 They're in your pocket.
00:11:19.000 They literally submit their questions, as we found out last week, in advance to you so you can write them on note cards because you cannot speak English.
00:11:26.000 Because you are no longer mentally functional.
00:11:28.000 And then Joe Biden did this routine where he pretended that he cares deeply apparently about
00:11:32.000 a Wall Street Journal reporter who's been kidnapped and held essentially for ransom
00:11:36.000 by the Russian government. Joe Biden was willing to trade the merchant of death for a basketball
00:11:41.000 player. Don't worry, he talked about that too. But he began by expressing sympathy for the Wall
00:11:46.000 Street Journal reporter's parents who showed up to this thing. To Evan's parents, Ella,
00:11:53.000 Mikhail and sister Danielle, as I've told you in person, we, not just me, we all stand with you.
00:12:02.000 That is Evan Gershkovich.
00:12:03.000 He's not training anybody for Evan Gershkovich so far as I'm aware, but he did champion his own genius in freeing Brittany Griner.
00:12:10.000 This is very important to him, obviously.
00:12:14.000 Tonight, unlike last year, Brittany Griner's here with her wife, Cheryl.
00:12:22.000 Brittany, where are you, kid?
00:12:25.000 Stand up, come on.
00:12:30.000 I love this woman.
00:12:32.000 Can I just point out that they are giving a standing ovation to a woman who was arrested
00:12:39.000 in Russia for bringing drugs into the country and then we had to trade an actual terror supplier
00:12:44.000 to free this person?
00:12:47.000 You may think that that was a good deal.
00:12:49.000 I don't think that was a great trade.
00:12:50.000 That was like the only WNBA trade anyone has ever cared about.
00:12:53.000 But, putting that aside, does the person who was freed deserve the applaud?
00:12:57.000 It's like, I just don't understand the logic there.
00:13:01.000 But, obviously, listen, it's all about the journalists who are applauding.
00:13:04.000 They're really not applauding Brittany Griner.
00:13:05.000 I mean, Brittany Griner didn't do anything.
00:13:06.000 They're applauding Joe Biden.
00:13:08.000 Obviously.
00:13:09.000 Okay, then we'll get to, in one second, we're gonna get to Joe Biden and the press.
00:13:13.000 And they are just, their lips have been surgically glued to Joe Biden's ass.
00:13:18.000 And he knows it.
00:13:19.000 And he is willing to gyrate around with their lips connected to his ass.
00:13:23.000 In the most bizarre fashion, they're just going with it because they don't have a choice.
00:13:26.000 Or if they do, they don't seem to care.
00:13:28.000 Get to that momentarily first.
00:13:29.000 If you run a small business, you need to plan ahead.

00:14:32.000 Okay, so Joe Biden did this long routine at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, and this one clip really sums up his relationship with the press.
00:14:40.000 He is mocking them.
00:14:41.000 They don't understand that he's mocking them.
00:14:42.000 They think he's mocking him.
00:14:43.000 He's actually mocking them.
00:14:45.000 Here we go.
00:14:47.000 A lot of ways this dinner sums up my first two years in office.
00:14:52.000 I'll talk for 10 minutes, take zero questions and cheerfully walk away.
00:14:55.000 And the entire press is laughing and he's grinning at them.
00:14:59.000 Of course he's grinning at them as he as he gradually turns into.
00:15:02.000 I mean, watching Joe Biden is like a slow motion replay of that scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade after the guy drinks the wrong cup of wine.
00:15:15.000 It's like a slow motion, like his hair is getting longer.
00:15:19.000 It's very odd.
00:15:20.000 And he's like grinning weirdly at the audience.
00:15:22.000 And they're all like, yeah, it's true.
00:15:23.000 It's so true.
00:15:24.000 He does walk away.
00:15:25.000 That's an indictment of you, you morons.
00:15:28.000 It's an indictment of you.
00:15:29.000 You're the ones who are supposed to be asking him questions.
00:15:31.000 And you're sitting there laughing about the fact that he is willing to walk away from you without answering any tough questions.
00:15:37.000 He saved virtually all of his ire for all the people who are critical of him in the media,
00:15:43.000 obviously. He had pretty much nothing to say about all the people he is fans of.
00:15:47.000 So he had a joke about NPR. The joke was not about NPR. The joke was about Elon Musk. Somehow
00:15:52.000 he made a joke about NPR, which is one of the most perverse and foolish news outlets in America,
00:15:58.000 government funded. And he has nothing to say. NPR is great.
00:16:03.000 The only problem is Elon Musk.
00:16:04.000 Here we go. I love NPR. I'm sure you do.
00:16:12.000 Because they whisper into the mic like I do.
00:16:18.000 But not everybody loves NPR.
00:16:21.000 Elon Musk tweeted that it should be defunded.
00:16:25.000 Well the best way to make NPR go away is for Elon Musk to buy it!
00:16:29.000 Laughter and applause And that's more true than you think, anyway.
00:16:41.000 I will say this about Joe Biden's comedic chops.
00:16:43.000 The dude has a habit of telling a joke and then taking a brick to the head of the joke after he's told it.
00:16:47.000 He does it nearly every time.
00:16:48.000 He tells a joke and then he's like, I'm not joking.
00:16:51.000 It's more for anything.
00:16:52.000 Okay, Rodney Dangerfield.
00:16:55.000 So Joe Biden continued along these lines.
00:16:57.000 Other opponents of his he targeted during this particular White House Correspondents' Dinner.
00:17:00.000 Tucker Carlson.
00:17:03.000 This dinner is one of the two great traditions of Washington.
00:17:07.000 The other one is underestimating me and Kamala.
00:17:12.000 Cheers!
00:17:13.000 He's the best, guys!
00:17:15.000 But the truth is, we really have a record to be proud of.
00:17:19.000 Vaccinated the nation, transformed the economy, earned historic legislative victories and midterm results, but the job isn't finished.
00:17:31.000 I mean, it is finished for Tucker McCarles, huh?
00:17:35.000 And then the crowd, ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!
00:17:36.000 Because Tucker got fired!
00:17:39.000 Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
00:17:42.000 What a delight this president is.
00:17:44.000 He's just, he's amazing.
00:17:45.000 He also had jokes for Ron DeSantis.
00:17:46.000 Now, one of the things that was kind of fascinating about this White House Correspondent's routine from Joe Biden, he mentioned Donald Trump once, and it was only in the context of age.
00:17:55.000 He had no harsh words, no harsh jokes, really, for Donald Trump.
00:17:58.000 Virtually every joke was about somebody that he would like to see not run, Ron DeSantis.
00:18:04.000 Here he was going after DeSantis.
00:18:07.000 At Ron DeSantis, I had a lot of Ron DeSantis jokes ready.
00:18:13.000 But Mickey Mouse beat the hell out of me and got there first.
00:18:21.000 Now look, can't be too rough on the guy.
00:18:26.000 They're so happy.
00:18:27.000 After his re-election as governor, he was asked if he had a mandate.
00:18:33.000 He said, hell no, I'm straight.
00:18:36.000 I'm straight.
00:18:38.000 I'll give you time to think that one through.
00:18:40.000 There he goes, getting the joke in the head with the brick right after it.
00:18:46.000 So first of all, very bad jokes, but the crowd loves it.
00:18:48.000 The crowd's eating it up because they're all part of the same constituency.
00:18:52.000 He's speaking to this crowd is the same as a rally crowd for Joe Biden, which should tell you something about the nature of our media.
00:19:00.000 I don't know who finds this funny.
00:19:02.000 I find it not only off-putting, but enraging.
00:19:07.000 All these people are doing amazing.
00:19:08.000 They did amazing during the pandemic.
00:19:10.000 None of them lost their jobs.
00:19:11.000 They don't care that your business got shut down.
00:19:13.000 They don't care you couldn't visit grandma while she was dying in the hospital.
00:19:15.000 They don't care that they were going to force you to vax in order to work.
00:19:18.000 All of them were on the same boat.
00:19:20.000 All of them.
00:19:21.000 They don't care right now that Joe Biden is using the DOJ to try to trans the children.
00:19:25.000 They don't care about any of that.
00:19:26.000 They're all in the same boat.
00:19:27.000 They're all friends.
00:19:28.000 They're all buddies.
00:19:29.000 They all work in the same circles.
00:19:31.000 There's a good case at this point, as I've said before, now that we have remote voting, we should actually just do that.
00:19:36.000 We should make everybody go back to your home districts and you actually have to live there if you're a politician.
00:19:39.000 And if you're a journalist, you shouldn't be centralized in New York.
00:19:42.000 You should be out reporting from the area you're supposed to be covering.
00:19:45.000 But we don't do that anymore.
00:19:47.000 And then, of course, again, a lot of jokes about Fox News.
00:19:51.000 Here is Joe Biden, this is clip 10, going after Fox News.
00:19:56.000 Look, it's great the cable news networks are here tonight.
00:20:01.000 MSNBC owned by NBCUniversal.
00:20:06.000 Fox News owned by Dominion Voting Systems.
00:20:17.000 Last year.
00:20:18.000 Thank you.
00:20:20.000 Your favorite Fox News reporters were able to attend because they were fully vaccinated and boosted.
00:20:26.000 This year, with that $787 million settlement, they're here because they couldn't say no to a free meal.
00:20:33.000 And hell, I'd call Fox honest, fair and truthful.
00:20:44.000 But then I could be sued for defamation.
00:20:47.000 Hahaha!
00:20:48.000 As opposed to his friends at CNN, who are the best.
00:20:52.000 They're the best.
00:20:53.000 Get some more from Joe Biden at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, being a funny, funny man in just one second.

00:21:08.000 Epic Will is for people who are building their estate, people who are just getting started.
00:21:11.000 You break the will now and then you're not going to have to worry about it later.

00:21:44.000 Go to epicwill.com slash Shapiro to save 10% on Epic Will's complete will package.
00:21:49.000 That's epicwill.com slash Shapiro.
00:21:51.000 Again, epicwill.com slash Shapiro.
00:21:52.000 My wife and I have a will.
00:21:53.000 You should have a will as well.
00:21:54.000 It's just the responsible thing to do.
00:21:55.000 Epicwill.com slash Shapiro to save 10%.
00:21:59.000 Okay, so Joe Biden has harsh words for Tucker Carlson, has harsh words for Ron DeSantis, and his only joke about CNN is that CNN doesn't have amazing ratings.
00:22:07.000 See, the problem with Fox News is that they're wildly dishonest, according to Joe Biden.
00:22:10.000 The problem with CNN, who again, are just his press office.
00:22:13.000 The big problem for them is that they're poor.
00:22:17.000 Look, I hope the Fox News team finds this funny.
00:22:23.000 My goal is to make them laugh as hard as CNN did when they read the settlement.
00:22:29.000 But then again, CNN was like, wow, they actually have $787 million.
00:22:35.000 Whoa.
00:22:41.000 Maybe his only decent joke of the night.
00:22:43.000 OK, so Biden then concluded with a whole lecture about the press and his whole lecture about the press is how wonderful the press is.
00:22:49.000 And of course, he thinks the press is wonderful.
00:22:50.000 They are in his pocket.
00:22:52.000 Literally.
00:22:52.000 He literally has their questions in his pocket.
00:22:55.000 He is able to evade all scrutiny.
00:22:58.000 Because he's a member of the coterie.
00:22:59.000 If you're a member of the coterie, you get away with it.
00:23:01.000 If you're a normal person and you ask a tough question of a Democratic presidential candidate, they will wreck your life.
00:23:07.000 Ask Joe Wurzelbacher.
00:23:09.000 Remember Joe the Plumber back in 2008?
00:23:11.000 Committed the great sin of asking Barack Obama a question?
00:23:14.000 about tax policy, you remember this?
00:23:16.000 And then they wrecked his life, they went after him on like a personal level and dug up his tax records.
00:23:20.000 You remember that?
00:23:21.000 If you have the temerity to ask a difficult question of a Democrat, as a common man,
00:23:26.000 the press will investigate you.
00:23:28.000 But if you're the president of the United States, the press will give you an award for writing pieces
00:23:32.000 like Matt Visor about how wonderful the president of the United States is.
00:23:35.000 They are all the same.
00:23:36.000 But here's Joe Biden talking about in the most hypocritical, gross fashion,
00:23:39.000 oh, the truth matters, it matters so much.
00:23:43.000 The truth matters.
00:23:45.000 As I said last year at this dinner, a poison is running through our democracy
00:23:50.000 and parts of the extreme press.
00:23:53.000 you Truth buried by lies and lies living on as truth.
00:24:04.000 Lies told for profit and power.
00:24:09.000 Lies of conspiracy and malice repeated over and over again.
00:24:15.000 Designed to generate a cycle of anger, hate, and even violence.
00:24:22.000 A cycle that emboldens.
00:24:25.000 History to be buried.
00:24:27.000 Books to be banned.
00:24:30.000 Children and families to be attacked by the state.
00:24:34.000 And the rule of law and our rights and freedoms to be stripped away.
00:24:37.000 Where elected representatives of the people are expelled from state houses.
00:24:44.000 We're standing for the people.
00:24:48.000 I made clear that we know in our bones, and you know it too, our democracy remains at risk.
00:24:57.000 Okay, so this is just a campaign speech, and the crowd are journalists, and they're all clapping because they agree with the campaign.
00:25:04.000 If they had any balls at all, they would actually be asking him questions about the things that he is saying right now, and they never do.
00:25:10.000 So, for example, he says in this one clip, there are a bunch of lies.
00:25:14.000 Lie number one, he says, a cycle that emboldens history to be buried.
00:25:17.000 So, apparently, that would be the Republicans who are trying to bury history by avoiding teaching critical race theory, which is not history.
00:25:24.000 Somebody should ask him, which history are they actually trying to bury?
00:25:27.000 Which history are they rewriting?
00:25:27.000 Because it seems to me that you are rewriting American history when you suggest that American history is rooted, inherently, in racism.
00:25:34.000 And when you say that critical race theory is the same as teaching history, you're lying.
00:25:37.000 That's lie number one.
00:25:38.000 Books to be banned.
00:25:39.000 Okay, so I want to ask Joe Biden, which books are they trying to ban?
00:25:42.000 Which books?
00:25:43.000 If you mean that children should not be subjected to Genderqueer, a book with gay pornography in it, then yeah, are you in favor of that?
00:25:49.000 So that'd be line number two.
00:25:51.000 Children and families to be attacked by the state.
00:25:53.000 Which children and families are being attacked by the state?
00:25:56.000 Do you mean, sir, that the children and families are being attacked by the state if doctors are not allowed to genitally mutilate and hormonally sterilize children?
00:26:03.000 So that'd be line number three.
00:26:05.000 This is in one sentence.
00:26:07.000 The rule of law and our rights and freedoms to be stripped away.
00:26:09.000 Which rule of law and which rights and freedoms?
00:26:11.000 Are you talking again about this Jim Crow 2.0 nonsense from Georgia?
00:26:14.000 Where you pretend that Republicans are trying to stop people from voting?
00:26:16.000 So that's line number four.
00:26:17.000 That is in one sentence.
00:26:19.000 Will journalists ask Joe Biden about any of that crap?
00:26:22.000 Of course not!
00:26:23.000 Because they are on his side.
00:26:24.000 They are on his side.
00:26:26.000 And then line number five.
00:26:27.000 Elected representatives of the people are expelled from state houses for standing for the people.
00:26:30.000 Wrong!
00:26:31.000 They are not!
00:26:32.000 They are expelled from state houses for violating the law and the rules of the legislature.
00:26:36.000 Again, when Republicans who back Donald Trump riot and go into the Capitol building, you arrest them and you put them in jail for years on end.
00:26:45.000 When members of the Statehouse in Tennessee go on the floor with a loudspeaker and embolden people to trespass and then they're expelled, then you say that this is a violation of their rights.
00:26:55.000 Explain.
00:26:55.000 But nobody asked for an explanation because they're all on Joe Biden's side.
00:26:59.000 They're all on Joe Biden's side.
00:27:00.000 And Joe Biden knows this.
00:27:02.000 He knows this.
00:27:03.000 And again, this is all part and parcel of the generalized angst that American people, the American voter, have with our elite class.
00:27:09.000 And they are an elite class.
00:27:10.000 They're the people who hang out together.
00:27:12.000 And who pat each other's back.
00:27:14.000 And who consider each other close friends.
00:27:17.000 And so the question is...
00:27:18.000 Are these friendships despite political differences, or are these friendships because the political differences don't actually matter very much?
00:27:24.000 Because they don't actually have political differences.
00:27:27.000 Another indicator of just how close this elite class is comes courtesy of the Wall Street Journal.
00:27:31.000 Apparently, the nation's spy chief, a longtime college president, and a top woman in finance, the circle of people who associated with Jeffrey Epstein, years after he was a convicted sex offender, is wider than previously reported, according to a trove of documents that includes his schedules.
00:27:43.000 William Burns, director of the CIA since 2021, had three meetings scheduled with Epstein in 2014 when he was deputy secretary of state, the documents show.
00:27:51.000 They first met in Washington and then Burns visited Epstein's townhouse in Manhattan.
00:27:55.000 By the way, this is long after the allegations that Jeffrey Epstein was trafficking young girls.
00:27:59.000 Catherine Rumler, a White House counsel under Barack Obama, had dozens of meetings with Epstein in the years after her White House service and before she became a top lawyer at Goldman Sachs.
00:28:08.000 Epstein planned for her to join a 2015 trip to Paris and a 2017 visit to Epstein's private island in the Caribbean.
00:28:13.000 That would be the rape island.
00:28:16.000 Leon Botstein, president of Bard College, invited Epstein, who brought a young female guest to the campus.
00:28:22.000 Noam Chomsky was scheduled to fly with Epstein to have dinner at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse in 2015.
00:28:27.000 None of their names appear in Epstein's now public black book of contacts or in the public flight logs of passengers who traveled on his private jet.
00:28:33.000 The documents show Epstein arranged multiple meetings with each of them after he had served jail time in 2008 for a sex crime involving a teenage girl and was registered as a sex offender.
00:28:42.000 The documents, which include thousands of pages of emails and schedules from 2013 to 2017, have not been previously reported.
00:28:48.000 Most of those people told the Journal they visited Epstein for reasons relating to his wealth and connections.
00:28:52.000 Several said they thought he had served his time and rehabilitated himself.
00:28:55.000 Botstein said he was trying to get Epstein to donate to his school.
00:28:57.000 Chomsky said he and Epstein discussed political and academic topics.
00:29:00.000 Burns met with Epstein about a decade ago as he was preparing to leave government service, said CIA spokeswoman Tammy Cooperman Thorne.
00:29:06.000 The director didn't know anything about him, other than that he was introduced as an expert in the financial services sector and offered general advice on transition to the private sector.
00:29:12.000 They had no relationship.
00:29:13.000 Well, Google existed back in 2014, I noticed.
00:29:17.000 So, again, the elite class, they hobnob with one another, not because they're having honest disagreements in which they're trying to hash out solutions, but because very often they sympathize with one another and they see each other as members of the same class.
00:29:30.000 From Epstein Island to the White House Correspondents' Dinner, they're members of the same group.
00:29:35.000 This is, again, when people say the Uniparty or the Blob, or they say that there's a group of people who really don't care very much about you, but they care very much about maintaining that seat at the round table at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
00:29:46.000 This is what people are saying.
00:29:48.000 This is what they mean.
00:29:49.000 And this is the alien— Again, when all power— It was just a bunch of schmucks getting together in Washington, D.C.
00:29:54.000 to pat each other on the back, and they didn't have power over your life.
00:29:56.000 I wouldn't care, and you wouldn't care.
00:29:57.000 We might make fun of them, and presumably that'll be the Met Gala, but when they actually have power over your life, then you start to say, wait, hold up a second.
00:30:06.000 Hold up a second.
00:30:07.000 Not seeing a lot of truck drivers in that room.
00:30:09.000 Not seeing a lot of school teachers in that room.
00:30:11.000 Not seeing a lot of cops in that room.
00:30:13.000 I am seeing a bunch of people who sympathize with each other very largely on the most controversial issues of the day, and who see the rest of America as sort of a group of rubes, and they're willing to joke about it.
00:30:24.000 And just one second, we'll get to the fact that again, this press contention that is in Joe Biden's pocket, they're hiding the fact that Joe Biden is actually extremely, extremely weak as a candidate.
00:30:33.000 We'll get to that momentarily first.
00:30:35.000 Starting out, looking for a job, it can be really tough.

00:32:23.000 Kick woke companies out of your bathroom today.
00:32:26.000 Meanwhile, the fact is that Joe Biden needs the blob because the blob helps defend him against the fact that he's an awfully weak candidate, like a very, very weak candidate.
00:32:33.000 So they're now trying out Bernie Sanders as a surrogate.
00:32:36.000 This is how far left the Democratic Party has moved that Bernie Sanders, who is a nutcase socialist, who's been useless for his entire adult life.
00:32:43.000 This guy is now like your best surrogate.
00:32:45.000 Here's Bernie Sanders crazed socialist loon bag from Vermont.
00:32:49.000 You're one year older than President Biden.
00:32:52.000 Is his age something that voters should consider in 2024?
00:32:57.000 If you believe in democracy, you want to see more people vote, not fewer people vote, I think the choice is pretty clear, and that choice is Biden's.
00:33:06.000 And second of all, what I do believe is the Democrats and the President have got to be stronger on working class issues.
00:33:12.000 They've got to make it clear that we believe in a government that represents all, not just the few.
00:33:17.000 Take on the greed of the insurance companies, the drug companies, Wall Street, all the big money interests, and start delivering for working class people.
00:33:24.000 You do that, I think Biden is going to win in a landslide.
00:33:27.000 By the way, it is amazing how, look, Bernie Sanders' appeal is entirely the same appeal that I'm making when I talk about the White House Correspondent Center.
00:33:34.000 And he's saying they're a group of elite people and they live out there and they really agree with each other's values and they're not fighting for the working man, right?
00:33:39.000 That's Bernie Sanders' shtick.
00:33:40.000 Now, he then uses that in order to push forward Joe Biden, who's part of the blob.
00:33:45.000 I mean, Bernie is an adjunct member of the blob.
00:33:47.000 He just pretends that he's not.
00:33:49.000 He's been living off government largesse literally for as long as he has been 18 or older.
00:33:55.000 But he's trying to prop up Joe Biden.
00:33:57.000 And here's the thing.
00:33:57.000 Joe Biden requires being propped up because he is falling over.
00:34:00.000 I mean, literally.
00:34:01.000 So over the weekend, he had some sort of college sports team that was going to give him like a jersey and a helmet.
00:34:06.000 You started randomly walking away, just randomly into the crowd.
00:34:09.000 He doesn't know where the hell he is.
00:34:14.000 And here's Joe Biden, he's being handed a jersey.
00:34:17.000 They're trying to give him a football and a helmet.
00:34:18.000 Everybody's like, where are you going, Joe?
00:34:21.000 I don't know where I'm going.
00:34:23.000 Goodbye.
00:34:25.000 See you later.
00:34:26.000 I don't know.
00:34:27.000 Everybody's like, where is he going?
00:34:29.000 Where's that guy going?
00:34:30.000 He's like, I need oatmeal.
00:34:33.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden's voters can't even explain why they like him.
00:34:35.000 So Martha Raddatz had a very awkward exchange on ABC's This Week with a random Very a colorfully haired person talking about Joe Biden.
00:34:45.000 She's very enthusiastic about Joe Biden.
00:34:47.000 She could not explain why.
00:34:50.000 Despite having voted for Biden last time, 21-year-old Elena Symes couldn't point me to anything that would make her want to vote for him again, except- What do you like about Joe Biden?
00:35:04.000 Awkward.
00:35:04.000 awkward. Crickets. Um. Trump. That he's not Trump.
00:35:12.000 Bye.
00:35:14.000 That would be it.
00:35:14.000 That would be the only thing, right?
00:35:17.000 This is why Donald Trump, as the nominee in 2024, understand that that is the main appeal of Joe Biden.
00:35:22.000 It always was the main appeal of Joe Biden, but it ain't going to be enough because Joe Biden is a terrible, terrible president, which is why RFK Jr.
00:35:28.000 is now... RFK Jr., by the way, He has said some things about the COVID vax that are true, and he's been censored for it.
00:35:34.000 But also, he says crazy stuff about vaccines, like, all the time.
00:35:36.000 He has been on the train of vaccines cause autism based on a completely false study for literally decades.
00:35:43.000 He's an environmental nutcase, okay?
00:35:45.000 But it doesn't matter, because right now, he's the only person who has really declared who has any name recognition in the Democratic primaries outside of Joe Biden, and he's currently pulling close to one-fifth of the Democratic vote.
00:35:55.000 According to certain polls, he's pulling at 19%. 19!
00:35:59.000 And again, RFK Jr.
00:36:01.000 has been a wild nutbag for like his entire adult life, his entire political career.
00:36:06.000 Here he was with Piers Morgan talking about the vaccinations and actually sounding not quite as crazy as many members of the left sound these days.
00:36:15.000 You've been opposed to vaccines now for a long time.
00:36:18.000 Very heavily critical of the Covid vaccine.
00:36:20.000 That's not true.
00:36:21.000 You're not a vaccine denier, but you are a very, very sceptical, very public voice of scepticism about the efficacy of vaccines.
00:36:29.000 Would that be fair?
00:36:32.000 What I've said is vaccines, I'm not anti-vaccine.
00:36:35.000 I think vaccines should be subject to the same level of rigorous testing as other medications.
00:36:42.000 And that is the only thing, my only position.
00:36:45.000 Listen, I fought to get mercury out of fish for 40 years and nobody called me anti-fish.
00:36:52.000 I'm not anti-vaccine just because I want safe vaccines.
00:36:56.000 And I think everybody wants safe vaccines.
00:36:58.000 And as we all now recognize, the COVID vaccines were neither safe nor effective.
00:37:05.000 Now, by the way, I mean, RFK Jr., again, as I say, the guy is wild.
00:37:09.000 RFK Jr., I understand that a lot of Republicans are rooting for him because they don't like Joe Biden.
00:37:13.000 And it's kind of funny because he didn't win the nomination.
00:37:15.000 So it's funny to watch somebody who's completely a loon.
00:37:17.000 I mean, RFK Jr.
00:37:17.000 is a loon.
00:37:18.000 out there winning 20% of the Democratic vote.
00:37:20.000 Here's why I say he's a loon.
00:37:21.000 It's not because of the COVIDVax stuff.
00:37:23.000 The reason he's a loon is because he literally suggested that the measles vaccine was causing a, quote, holocaust.
00:37:29.000 Okay, that was back in like 2015.
00:37:33.000 He has talked about, for example, the idea that Hugo Chavez was like a wonderful, wonderful leader.
00:37:41.000 He's a nutcase, RFK Jr.
00:37:45.000 He suggested that Charles Koch, quote, should be in jail enjoying three hots and a cot at the Hague with all the other war criminals.
00:37:51.000 And that anybody who disagrees with him about global warming is, quote, a contemptible human being.
00:37:55.000 And he wished there was a law that you could punish them under.
00:37:59.000 That's who RFK, he called the Cato Institute, the Heritage Foundation, American Legislative Exchange Council, Americans for Prosperity, pretty much every conservative institution, quote, front groups that are, quote, snake pits for sociopaths.
00:38:14.000 This is the person.
00:38:15.000 And that guy is winning like 19% against Joe Biden right now.
00:38:18.000 He is super duper weak.
00:38:19.000 So Joe Biden has a strategy.
00:38:21.000 His strategy is make sure that you got the press in your pocket.
00:38:24.000 He's got that.
00:38:25.000 And then he's going to try the same exact routine that Barack Obama tried in 2012 and Hillary Clinton tried in 2016, except that the sort of added benefit of he is hoping that he's running against Donald Trump.
00:38:36.000 So the Barack Obama strategy in 2012 was different than in 2008.
00:38:39.000 In 2008, Obama's strategy was, I'm going to run a unity campaign.
00:38:45.000 No red states, no blue states, just the United States.
00:38:48.000 And then by 2012, it was like, nope, we all hate each other.
00:38:51.000 I got my group over here, my group over here.
00:38:53.000 That'll be a lot of minorities, a lot of young people, some college educated white ladies.
00:38:57.000 And all together, we're going to overcome the white people who back Mitt Romney.
00:39:01.000 That's going to be our campaign.
00:39:02.000 You got Joe Biden out there being like, yeah, Mitt Romney's going to put you all back in jail.
00:39:05.000 It's the black people, right?
00:39:06.000 That was the campaign in 2012.
00:39:07.000 In 2016, Hillary tried to run that exact same campaign.
00:39:11.000 Donald Trump is back by the deplorables, right?
00:39:13.000 That was her routine.
00:39:14.000 And she lost.
00:39:15.000 And then Trump made himself really unpopular between 2016 and 2020.
00:39:19.000 And then he lost to Joe Biden, who ran a very similar campaign to what Hillary ran in 2016.
00:39:23.000 So he's going to do that again in 2024.
00:39:26.000 He is going to essentially run a campaign rooted in the base, and he's going to hope that independents break for him.
00:39:33.000 The reason he can do that is because there is a wide divide now.
00:39:36.000 The middle of the country is fairly small.
00:39:38.000 There's a very wide divide between Republicans and Democrats on the key issues of the day.
00:39:42.000 So there's an interesting pullout from NBC News showing wide political polarization on a range of social issues.
00:39:49.000 Do you want government to promote greater respect for traditional social and moral values?
00:39:52.000 65% of Republicans say yes.
00:39:53.000 27% of Democrats say yes.
00:39:57.000 Do you want government to encourage greater tolerance of people with different lifestyles and backgrounds?
00:40:02.000 66% of Democrats say yes.
00:40:04.000 Only 18% of Republicans say yes.
00:40:06.000 Our country needs to do more to increase social justice.
00:40:09.000 66% of Democrats, yes.
00:40:11.000 21% of Republicans, no.
00:40:13.000 I mean, yes.
00:40:14.000 21% of Republicans, yes.
00:40:16.000 Our country needs to reduce political correctness and cancel culture.
00:40:18.000 67% of Republicans, yes.
00:40:19.000 19% of Democrats, yes.
00:40:23.000 You believe we have gone too far promoting LGBTQ lifestyles in our culture?
00:40:27.000 70% of Republicans, yes.
00:40:29.000 12% of Democrats, yes.
00:40:31.000 60% of Democrats think that the country needs to become more tolerant and accepting of LGBTQIA plus minus divided by sign.
00:40:37.000 10% of Republicans, agree.
00:40:38.000 How about independents?
00:40:41.000 Independents are fairly split.
00:40:45.000 49% of independents pick traditional values.
00:40:48.000 41% side with greater tolerance, which means that Joe Biden's section of the aisle is actually smaller among independents than the conservative section of the aisle.
00:40:57.000 But he is hoping that if Republicans run somebody polarizing, namely Donald Trump, that he will be able to overcome all of that.
00:41:03.000 And meanwhile, he will get out his base.
00:41:04.000 This is why he's going increasingly radical on a wide variety of issues, particularly on sexual orientation and on race.
00:41:12.000 Again, when it comes to, for example, the country going, have we gone far enough or too far or not far enough in accepting quote-unquote trans issues among independents, 50% of independents say society's gone too far.
00:41:24.000 Only 36% say that society hasn't gone far enough, which means that independents side with Republicans on the issues.
00:41:31.000 But that's not what Biden is hoping for.
00:41:33.000 He is banking.
00:41:34.000 I mean, he's purely banking on Donald Trump being the nominee because what he's hoping is the base gets out and the independents break for me because they hate Trump.
00:41:42.000 Same formula as in 2020, which is the only reason why they continue to push forward extraordinarily radical policies with regard to LGBTQ plus IA divided by sign.
00:41:51.000 It's also why it's idiotic for Republicans, by the way, to compromise on these issues.
00:41:54.000 They're actually winning these issues with independents.
00:41:57.000 And the media, doing the bidding of the Democratic Party, have decided they're just going to go full bore.
00:42:01.000 So Chuck Todd, for example, he had on Vivek Ramaswamy, who's running for president on the Republican side of the aisle, and he starts using kind of typical far-left gender ideology rhetoric to suggest there are more than two genders.
00:42:13.000 But below the age of 18, I think it's perfectly legitimate to say that we won't allow genital mutilation or chemical castration through puberty blockers for the purpose of gender transition.
00:42:21.000 You're calling it that, but how do you know it's that?
00:42:22.000 Again, how do you know?
00:42:24.000 Are you confident that you know that gender is as binary as you're describing it?
00:42:30.000 Are you confident that it isn't a spectrum?
00:42:32.000 I am.
00:42:32.000 Do you know this as a scientist?
00:42:34.000 Well, there's two X chromosomes if you're a woman, an X and a Y. That means you're a man, so there's a biological basis for this.
00:42:39.000 There's a lot of scientific research out there that says gender is a spectrum.
00:42:43.000 Chuck, I respectfully disagree.
00:42:45.000 Gender dysphoria for most of our history, all the way through the DSM-5, has been characterized as a mental health disorder, and I don't think it's compassionate to affirm that.
00:42:53.000 I think that's cruelty.
00:42:54.000 I just love, so Vic does a great job here.
00:42:57.000 What I love is that Chuck Todd is just mirroring the far-left priorities of the Democratic Party.
00:43:01.000 Because independents don't even like that stuff.
00:43:03.000 That's what's truly amazing here.
00:43:04.000 Independents don't even like that stuff.
00:43:05.000 So Joe Biden is banking on the media backing him and independents breaking for him because Trump is the nominee.
00:43:10.000 That is his basic strategy.
00:43:11.000 And so he's doubling down and doubling down and doubling down.
00:43:14.000 are the most radical parts of his agenda for the 2024 election.
00:43:19.000 So again, the Democratic Party, they're just gonna keep doubling down on the radicalism here, which is why they are now promoting, as hero of the republic, Zooey Zephyr, who's a dude in Montana who says that he is a lady.
00:43:29.000 This means that you are going to make all sorts of news, because Zooey Zephyr went on the floor of the Montana House and suggested that all of his fellow legislators had blood on their hands for not wanting to do the literal thing that puts blood on your hands, you know, generally mutilate the kids.
00:43:40.000 Here was Zooey Zephyr saying, being trans means freedom, You can't ban gender-affirming care that's cruel and inhumane and unconstitutional, says the man.
00:43:49.000 What does being trans mean to you, Zoe?
00:43:55.000 Being trans is like coming home into myself.
00:44:01.000 Now I feel fully in resonance with my own body and I am able to move forward with a life that would not have been possible prior to transition.
00:44:11.000 A life full of joy, a life where I can For the first time, be myself and, you know, have that pursuit of happiness that our country was founded on.
00:44:23.000 I get that now.
00:44:24.000 It's true.
00:44:24.000 The Declaration of Independence was founded on the idea that dudes can cut off their own junk and then pretend to be ladies.
00:44:28.000 That is what the Declaration of... Just ask John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
00:44:32.000 Jefferson told... Man, if you could go back in time and just ask those dudes about that, they'd have been like, yeah, freedom to be a lady.
00:44:38.000 That's what we are all about here.
00:44:41.000 Zephyr, of course, is hero of the Republic today because, again, Democrats have decided that cosplaying civil rights revolutions is the way that you're going to win future elections.
00:44:49.000 So here's Zephyr with Jonathan Capehart and MSNBC doing the same routine.
00:44:54.000 Now that Senate Bill 99 has been signed into law, what does this mean for transgender minors and the LGBT community in Montana?
00:45:03.000 So it's important to note that this bill doesn't go into effect until October 1st, and we're going to do everything in our power to stop this bill.
00:45:12.000 There will be court challenges and ultimately, like bills across the country, it will get defeated in these courts.
00:45:18.000 We know these bills are as unconstitutional as they are cruel.
00:45:23.000 Cruel and unconstitutional.
00:45:24.000 You know what sounds even more cruel?
00:45:25.000 It's the boyfriend of Montana Representative Zoe Zephyr, who is apparently another transgender woman.
00:45:30.000 Apparently, Aaron Reid is an infamous trans activist on TikTok who posts videos about how children can't get access to hormones.
00:45:36.000 These are the heroes.
00:45:38.000 These are the heroes of the republic.
00:45:41.000 Chelsea Clinton, by the way, is now joining the battle.
00:45:43.000 So, Chelsea Clinton, who, again, has never earned her way through a single day of work, she tweeted out, So, I'm just going to point out at this point that no one has banned books for adults.
00:45:51.000 books with LGBTQ plus characters and themes. Books are a vital way that children, adolescents
00:45:54.000 and adults learn about themselves and our world. Bans such as these are nothing but
00:45:58.000 harmful. So I'm just going to point out at this point that no one has banned books for
00:46:01.000 adults. We have all attempted to stop children from like genderqueer is there's actual cartoons
00:46:09.000 in this book of gay boys giving each other blowjobs.
00:46:13.000 It's a good thing.
00:46:15.000 That's what Chelsea Clinton wants.
00:46:16.000 I mean, that Clinton last name, I guess.
00:46:19.000 That's what Chelsea Clinton wants kids to be reading.
00:46:21.000 And this is what Democrats are going to run on.
00:46:23.000 This is why it would be so foolish for Republicans to abandon social issues.
00:46:26.000 Asa Hutchinson apparently wants to do that.
00:46:28.000 Asa Hutchinson was going after Ron DeSantis for going to war with Disney.
00:46:32.000 This is a really good litmus test for Republican voters.
00:46:35.000 If a candidate says that they side with Disney over Ron DeSantis on the question of whether Disney should get special tax breaks, benefits, a special tax district, subsidies from the state, and then turn around and use all of that largesse in order to indoctrinate small children in sexual orientation and gender identity, I don't think I want that person as the nominee.
00:46:54.000 Here is Asa Hutchinson, who has no shot at the nomination.
00:46:58.000 As a small government conservative, which you just repeated here, what's your take on leaders in your party, Ron DeSantis among them, who are actively using the government to change social policy and wage culture wars?
00:47:10.000 Well, let's be more specific about Disney.
00:47:13.000 I don't like what Disney said about the legislation that I would have supported in Florida, but it's not the role of government to punish a business when you disagree with what they're saying or a position that they take.
00:47:27.000 Well, is it the role of business to, in absolutely ultra crepedarian fashion, speaking outside their purview, go after sexual indoctrination of children and take tax benefits at the same time?
00:47:37.000 I didn't realize that Disney had a right to its own tax benefits.
00:47:40.000 But this is, you know, presumably going to be the fight the Democrats want to wage.
00:47:43.000 Meanwhile, on the race fight, same sort of thing.
00:47:44.000 So that NBC News poll, by the way, showed that some 59% of Americans say that America is a racist country, which is why, presumably, Joe Biden is going to double down on that come the campaign.
00:47:53.000 It's why they've decided to make cosplay civil rights heroes out of Tennessee State Representatives Justin Pearson and Justin Jones.
00:47:59.000 Those are the Tennessee legislators who, again, went on the floor of the Tennessee Statehouse and yelled in bullhorns and violated all the rules and then got expelled from the chamber before they're reinstated by their local city councils or whatever.
00:48:09.000 Here is Tennessee State Representative Justin Pearson saying the status quo is propping up white supremacy and patriarchy, he said, from his position of extraordinary Cultural power, because the media love him so.
00:48:21.000 You and your generation and people like you and Zoe Zephyr and Maxwell Frost, you're not afraid to break the china.
00:48:27.000 Ah, so much realism.
00:48:27.000 We have to realize that we are in a really important moment in the movement, not just in a moment.
00:48:33.000 And for our entire generation, which recognizes that the opportunity that we have cannot be wasted by going along with the status quo as usual.
00:48:41.000 The status quo has propped up white supremacy and patriarchy and injustice.
00:48:46.000 Man, this dude is such a bad actor.
00:48:48.000 He's such a bad actor.
00:48:49.000 But he's, again, new hero of the Republic.
00:48:51.000 So watch for Joe Biden to run his campaign the same way Barack Obama did in 2012, Hillary in 2016, Biden in 2020.
00:48:56.000 It's the same campaign over and over.
00:48:58.000 American society is racist and terrible and bigoted and homophobic and all the rest of it.
00:49:02.000 Vote for me.
00:49:03.000 And then hope that Republicans run somebody really, really unpopular.
00:49:06.000 That's got to be his only campaign because he can't run on the economy.
00:49:09.000 He cannot run on the economy.
00:49:10.000 Over the weekend, First Republic Bank was seized and sold to JP Morgan.
00:49:15.000 So according to the Wall Street Journal, regulators seized First Republic Bank.
00:49:17.000 They struck a deal to sell the bulk of its operations to JP Morgan.
00:49:21.000 Morgan said it will assume all of First Republic's $92 billion in deposits, insured and uninsured.
00:49:26.000 It's also buying most of the bank's assets, including about $173 billion in loans and $30 billion in securities.
00:49:32.000 As part of the agreement, the FDIC is going to share losses with JPMorgan on First Republic loans.
00:49:36.000 The agency estimated its insurance fund would take a hit of about $13 billion.
00:49:40.000 That means you.
00:49:40.000 JPMorgan also said it would receive $50 billion in financing from the FDIC.
00:49:46.000 This would be the second largest bank to fail in American history.
00:49:50.000 It lost $100 million in deposits in March following a run, rooted again, on Silicon Valley Bank.
00:49:56.000 And that was rooted on the fact that the Joe Biden administration created 40-year inflation and then had to jack up those interest rates in order to jack down the inflation.
00:50:03.000 By the way, the inflation is not over yet.
00:50:06.000 Apparently, the Federal Reserve is still considering, again, more interest rate increases, which it must, because they've got another problem.
00:50:14.000 Their bigger problem right now is that if that inflation rate continues to be 6, 7, 8 percent, this is going to get baked into the American economy beyond repair.
00:50:22.000 Wages are going to continue their decline.
00:50:25.000 Apparently, the Federal Reserve's balance sheet is loaded with bonds purchased to support the economy during the crisis.
00:50:29.000 It might currently be insulating Wall Street from the effects of its interest rate policy.
00:50:32.000 So in other words, the Federal Reserve bought its own bonds in order to inflate the currency, and so now they'll take the hit.
00:50:36.000 Which means higher taxes for you later, or more inflation later, but maybe they'll stop it right now.
00:50:41.000 And it's all just, it's just garbage, which is why, according to Tyler Durden, writing for Zero Hedge, the U.S.
00:50:46.000 recession probability has now reached 67%.
00:50:48.000 Very, very, very high possibility of a serious recession.
00:50:54.000 Assuming the Fed follows through on hiking federal funds rates by another quarter point next week, the probability of official recession will continue to rise.
00:51:03.000 So get ready for it.
00:51:04.000 This is what Joe Biden has brought you.
00:51:05.000 He's brought you an actual recession.
00:51:08.000 And meanwhile, Joe Biden apparently wants to exacerbate that by not even negotiating over the GOP debt ceiling proposal.
00:51:15.000 They think that this will force President Biden to come to the negotiating table.
00:51:18.000 administration. He says that the debt limit bill that was passed by Republicans in the House,
00:51:22.000 which essentially cut spending, and by cut spending I mean to 2022 levels with a 1%
00:51:27.000 increase year over year, that apparently is too radical for James Clyburn and Joe Biden to even
00:51:31.000 negotiate. They think that this will force President Biden to come to the negotiating table.
00:51:38.000 Does it? Absolutely not.
00:51:41.000 That bill's gonna get over to the Senate.
00:51:43.000 In fact, it may die somewhere around Statuary Hall before it ever gets over to the Senate.
00:51:50.000 So it will be dead on arrival.
00:51:53.000 It's dead on arrival.
00:51:54.000 They're not even gonna negotiate.
00:51:55.000 In the middle of an economic downturn.
00:51:56.000 Slow clap for these geniuses.
00:51:58.000 They're doing an amazing, amazing job.
00:52:00.000 Alrighty, time for some things I like and then some things that I hate.
00:52:03.000 So, things that I like today.
00:52:06.000 A white councilperson in Indiana is now identifying as female and black.
00:52:11.000 And it is hilarious to watch the media attempt to take this seriously.
00:52:14.000 Because remember, what the media would prefer right now is to pretend that a man can become a woman, but that a black person can't become white and a white person can't become black.
00:52:22.000 So they say that even though race is less a biological component of human existence with way fuzzier boundaries than, for example, sex.
00:52:30.000 Sex is completely dichotomous in human and all mammalian biology.
00:52:34.000 They want to pretend a man can become a woman, but a white man can't become a black man.
00:52:38.000 But here is a white man who says he is a black woman.
00:52:40.000 And now the media are forced to actually treat this idiocy with respect.
00:52:44.000 So I love it.
00:52:45.000 Consequences for your own stupid ideas.
00:52:47.000 Here is the Indiana media coverage.
00:52:50.000 A councilman is coming out as transgender and a woman of color.
00:52:56.000 Delaware County Councilman Ryan Webb announced that he now identifies as an Indian American woman.
00:53:02.000 Since that announcement, he's received some support, but a lot of backlash.
00:53:05.000 Many calling him childish, despicable, even calling for things like execution.
00:53:10.000 In a statement Webb gave to ITMate, he says, quote, it is unfortunate that I cannot simply be given the same
00:53:17.000 space and respect to explore my identity that so many of those targeting me demand for themselves.
00:53:23.000 It's possible I may change my mind down the road.
00:53:26.000 The process of identity exploration is complex, and oftentimes, at the end of our personal journey, we end right back where we started.
00:53:35.000 Webb goes on to tell IT Mate this is just his true, authentic self.
00:53:40.000 Okay, so, the entire left is like, this is not legitimate!
00:53:43.000 This is terrible!
00:53:44.000 How could he do such a thing?
00:53:45.000 Well, I don't think you have to use he.
00:53:48.000 She.
00:53:49.000 She said that she was an Indian-American woman of color.
00:53:54.000 And so you will respect the pronouns.
00:53:56.000 You WILL respect the pronouns.
00:53:58.000 According to the UK Daily Mail, a white Republican councilman in Indiana has sparked outrage after jokingly declaring himself a lesbian woman of color in a Facebook post made earlier this month.
00:54:08.000 The announcement sparked outrage from people calling Webb pathetic and for his perceived mockery of LGBT groups as well as marginalized groups.
00:54:14.000 Charlize Jamison, a transgender resident, said his words not only embarrass himself, but you, the county council.
00:54:19.000 Other members have now called him out for inciting hate against transgender people.
00:54:22.000 How could they?
00:54:23.000 He is one of them.
00:54:24.000 I don't understand.
00:54:25.000 Why is this a problem?
00:54:27.000 Webb first shared his true self with the world on April 12th.
00:54:30.000 He said, whoo, that finally felt good to get that out there and start living my life as my true self.
00:54:34.000 I'm excited to bring some diversity to the county council.
00:54:36.000 Until today, we didn't have any females of color or LGBTQIAPC++ on the council.
00:54:42.000 I'm glad that we do now.
00:54:44.000 He said he will still go by Ryan, he will still keep his pronouns he-him, but this will in no way diminish my true identity as a woman of color, he says.
00:54:53.000 In a later edit, he doubled down on his statements, declaring himself the first lesbian woman of color in the county council's history.
00:54:59.000 He says it has come to my attention.
00:55:00.000 I'm more than likely the very first lesbian woman of color in the history of Delaware County to ever serve on the Delaware County Council.
00:55:05.000 I'm honored to be the one to shatter that glass ceiling.
00:55:08.000 Hashtag girl power.
00:55:09.000 And people are very angry.
00:55:11.000 Very, very angry.
00:55:11.000 Why are you angry, guys?
00:55:13.000 I understand.
00:55:14.000 This beautiful woman is just coming out as who she is.
00:55:17.000 How dare you?
00:55:20.000 How dare you?
00:55:21.000 Dana Black, host of the Turn Left podcast said, I'm hoping this individual is not making a mockery of what it means to be more in a marginalized community.
00:55:27.000 I have a feeling that's exactly what's happening.
00:55:30.000 That's exactly what's happening.
00:55:33.000 I'm sorry that your own stupid ideas came back to bite you directly on the ass.
00:55:37.000 Now, I do have to demonstrate to you how far we have come as a society.
00:55:41.000 So here is a clip.
00:55:43.000 This is from the show, The Doctors, a few years back.
00:55:48.000 And it featured a person who called themselves TransBlind.
00:55:52.000 Her name is Jewel.
00:55:53.000 I mean, it's a horrifying story.
00:55:55.000 TransBlind is a person who felt that they were a blind person in a sighted body, and so she blinded herself with cleaning fluid.
00:56:03.000 Now watch as the doctors, again, this is on a network daytime show, watch as the doctors explain that this is horrible and actually morally evil.
00:56:13.000 Here we go.
00:56:15.000 I believe I should have been born blind, and I'm happy the way I am.
00:56:21.000 I do have some regrets about the way I did it, but in the end I'm happy the way I am.
00:56:28.000 Dr. Phil, with all due respect to Jewel, but I am having a really hard time.
00:56:36.000 Really hard time.
00:56:39.000 Sitting so close to someone who traumatized herself, who damaged herself.
00:56:46.000 We took an oath in medicine to help people.
00:56:49.000 We see horrible tragedies every single day as doctors and people who would give anything to go back and restore Their vision, their health.
00:57:01.000 My heart is beating out of my chest.
00:57:04.000 I can't even make sense of the emotions I'm feeling because to hear someone say, I've always felt I should be blind.
00:57:10.000 Well, I've always felt I should be the Queen of England, but I'm not going out to become the Queen of England.
00:57:16.000 And there's the crowd clapping.
00:57:17.000 It was just a few years ago, guys.
00:57:19.000 Now, if that woman had said, I always felt like a man, so I sewed a fake penis onto myself, the entire crowd would be like, oh, hero.
00:57:26.000 Hero of the Republic.
00:57:27.000 That's a man.
00:57:29.000 Or maybe we've all gone crazy, and our society is insane because we've lost all objective standards of truth, knowledge, right, and wrong, and we've decided that subjective happiness, as defined by the person in the moment, is the only thing that matters.
00:57:42.000 Well, there are consequences to that.
00:57:43.000 The consequences are you have to accept all of this.
00:57:44.000 You have to pretend all of this is good and decent.
00:57:46.000 Do that same exact segment now, and I dare somebody to say what that doctor says on Dr. Phil right there.
00:57:52.000 No one would say.
00:57:52.000 You couldn't get that same doctor to say that same exact thing about the same exact person today.
00:57:56.000 It would just be too awkward.
00:57:57.000 You can't do it.
00:57:58.000 Okay, time for some things that I hate.
00:58:04.000 Okay, so thing that I hate today.
00:58:06.000 It is amazing how the media are capable of changing a narrative that is clearly about illegal immigration into a narrative about guns.
00:58:12.000 So, there is a horrific story over the weekend in which a 38-year-old illegal immigrant named Francisco Oropesa started shooting at a random family.
00:58:28.000 Apparently, here is what happened.
00:58:30.000 Apparently, he shot and killed five Honduran nationals after one of them complained of him firing a rifle outside shortly before midnight on Friday night.
00:58:40.000 Of the ten people living at the home at the time of the shooting, five are now dead.
00:58:43.000 The five decedents are aged 31, 25, 21, 18, and 8.
00:58:46.000 The eight-year-old boy reportedly died at the hospital.
00:58:49.000 The four other victims were found dead at the scene.
00:58:52.000 And then this person fled.
00:58:54.000 He's considered armed and dangerous.
00:58:57.000 So the original story, as sort of reported by the media, is that there was a Texas man and he was shooting in his backyard and people confronted him about shooting a gun in his backyard and he proceeded to murder five people.
00:59:09.000 That's not the actual story here.
00:59:11.000 The actual story is, you know how many times this person has now been deported?
00:59:15.000 According to Breitbart, immigration officers deported the Mexican man wanted in connection to Friday night's alleged murder of 500 nationals on three occasions.
00:59:22.000 The most recent removal came in 2016.
00:59:25.000 San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers told Breitbart Texas on Sunday, U.S.
00:59:30.000 ICE officers deported this shooter, a Mexican national now wanted for the five alleged murders, three separate times.
00:59:38.000 Three times!
00:59:39.000 And this person ended up back in the United States murdering five people.
00:59:43.000 The media, of course, pretended that none of this occurred.
00:59:46.000 Virtually every headline featuring this shooting in Texas that left five dead, Virtually every single thing left left out the illegal immigrant background.
00:59:57.000 So I'm just going to read you a series of headlines.
00:59:59.000 Quote, five dead in Texas shooting armed suspect on the loose.
01:00:02.000 That's Reuters.
01:00:05.000 NBC News authorities say they have zero leads in manhunt for suspects who allegedly killed five neighbors in Texas.
01:00:11.000 So, Governor Abbott pointed out this is an illegal immigrant.
01:00:16.000 He shouldn't have been in the country in the first place.
01:00:19.000 Thanks, federal government.
01:00:21.000 And people are mad at him for saying that.
01:00:26.000 The AR-15 is obviously the problem.
01:00:31.000 Not the illegal immigration system that has allowed this person to illegally cross the border three separate times in order to murder five people in the United States.
01:00:39.000 The media can turn anything into the narrative that they so choose.
01:00:42.000 It is perfectly obvious this is a story about illegal immigration.
01:00:45.000 It's a person who crossed the border, he's a criminal, crossed the border three separate times, ended up in the United States, committed a horrific crime.
01:00:51.000 Is that about the gun?
01:00:52.000 Or is that about the person?
01:00:54.000 Meanwhile, in an attempt to avoid, you know, any real headline about illegal immigration, I have to say, the great irony of Democrats complaining about illegal immigrants arriving in their city, it's amazing.
01:01:04.000 So, According to WTTW.com, which is a PBS offshoot, Chicago is now facing a humanitarian crisis amid a renewed surge of migrants from the southern border.
01:01:14.000 The Chicago City Council will soon be asked to spend $53 million from the city's budget surplus to care for the thousands of people who have already made their way to Chicago, according to city officials.
01:01:22.000 More than 8,100 people, most of them from Central and South America, have arrived in Chicago since August 31st.
01:01:27.000 That is when Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent the first bus of migrants to Chicago.
01:01:31.000 According to a letter, Mayor Lori Lightfoot sent to the City Council on Friday, acknowledging that once again the city's shelter system is bursting at the seams.
01:01:37.000 That has forced dozens of men, women, and children to sleep on the floor of police stations across the city while they wait for beds, according to officials.
01:01:43.000 Immigrants who arrived by plane are also sleeping at O'Hare.
01:01:47.000 Lori Lightfoot is really mad about it.
01:01:50.000 Alderman Brian Sigcho Lopez with the 25th Ward says this is inhumane.
01:01:56.000 Officials are saying we're using every tool in our toolbox.
01:01:58.000 They're begging Greg Abbott not to send more illegal immigrants to Chicago.
01:02:01.000 Yeah, it's all fun and games when tens of thousands of people are arriving every single month on the southern border in the United States and then being let loose into Texas cities.
01:02:09.000 The minute they arrive in Chicago, it's a humanitarian crisis.
01:02:12.000 Well, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
01:02:14.000 You guys all vote for the administration that likes the open border?
01:02:16.000 Deal with it.
01:02:17.000 Alrighty guys, the rest of the show continues right now.
01:02:19.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
01:02:20.000 We'll be having on artist Tom McDonald.
01:02:22.000 Should be spicy.
