Summary

The radical left loves to celebrate when other people's phones are hacked. And when it happens to be someone you disagree with, they celebrate it in order to make sure they don't have to deal with the consequences. This is the way the left works, and it's no wonder why America is getting more polarized and more polarized. Because there are more and more people who disagree with them, and if you disagree, you want to see criminal things happen to them. And if you don't like what happens to them, you're not going to like the people on the left who celebrate it, because they're so tolerant and nice, that they're willing to do whatever it takes to protect and defend people they consider their enemies, even if it means hacking someone else's phone. And that's exactly what happened to my friend Matt Walsh's phone last night, and why it's a good thing that his phone was hacked, because if it wasn't, they'd have been able to send him a bunch of vile tweets about it, and they would have been ready to do something about it. And you know what else? They don't care if your phone is hacked, they care if it's your laptop, your computer, or your phone, or even your social media account is hacked. And they care that you think you're a bad guy, because that's what makes you a bad dude, right? because you can't be a bad person and they don t give a shit about it? and you don t care about it because it s that s not . they care about you you care about what s . And they want you to be a nice guy . and they want to know that you are not , right ? right or so they care enough that you care enough about you to care enough to care about about you to care about that s to do about s and s , and they are more than enough so that they are going to well, they ll care about your in order about you, right or not so you can have your phone hacked? or they ll be offended by it and then they ll be offended when you do when you tweet about it ? and tweet about that s s to tweet

00:00:00.000 Well, last night, my friend Matt Walsh was hacked.
00:00:02.000 His phone was hacked.
00:00:03.000 Apparently, somebody actually duplicated his SIM card.
00:00:06.000 There are only a couple of ways in which that can happen, as far as I understand.
00:00:09.000 One is that somebody actually physically got access to Matt's phone.
00:00:12.000 The other is that somebody actually mimicked Matt to the phone company and had them send a duplicate SIM card.
00:00:17.000 In any case, last night, late last night, people started tweeting out from Matt Walsh's Twitter account a bunch of just vile kind of garbage.
00:00:26.000 It was all shut down pretty quickly, but The important thing to recognize about the radical left trans movement particularly is just how aggressive they are.
00:00:35.000 When I say aggressive, I don't mean like aggressive in their point of view.
00:00:38.000 They are.
00:00:39.000 But I mean aggressive as in they will cross any line in order to go after people they consider to be their enemies.
00:00:45.000 So if you just say a man cannot be a woman and a woman cannot be a man and a man who believes he is a woman is wrong.
00:00:52.000 If you just say that, which is what Matt Walsh does, if you ask people to define the word woman, and they can't, people get so angry at you that they will hack your phone, that they will provide security threats sufficient that Matt has to have pretty much 24-7 security on his house, that he's had to cancel speeches due to the level of security threats that have been levied against him.
00:01:10.000 And the tolerant left, they are so tolerant.
00:01:12.000 Because the point here is when the left shows you who they are, when the radical left, not everybody on the left, when the radical left shows you who they are, believe them.
00:01:20.000 So last night, after Matt's phone was hacked, a bunch of the sort of left-wing blue checks on Twitter, the influencers, we might say, they came out of the woodwork in order to celebrate somebody being hacked.
00:01:30.000 Now, There are a lot of people on the left whose perspectives I do not particularly like.
00:01:34.000 There are a lot of people on the left who I strenuously disagree with.
00:01:37.000 Many on the left who I believe their viewpoints actually reflect ideological wrong and evil.
00:01:41.000 But am I in favor of their phones being hacked or their computers being hacked?
00:01:45.000 Of course not.
00:01:46.000 That's absurd.
00:01:47.000 We still live in a civil society in which crime should be treated as crime.
00:01:50.000 But this does not hold true if you violate the scruples of the left.
00:01:53.000 So, for example, Alejandro Caraballo, who is a man who believes that he is a woman and has had some surgeries to prove it.
00:02:02.000 A wise Latina clinical instructor at Harvard Law at the Cyber Law Clinic, which by the way, Harvard Law should take a very serious look at why somebody should be teaching at the Harvard Law Cyber Clinic, Cyber Law Clinic, who believes that it is a good and useful thing to hack other people's phones.
00:02:20.000 This person also writes for Wired and Slate and tweeted out, Matt Walsh's account has been hacked.
00:02:26.000 Couldn't have happened to a more miserable piece of bleep.
00:02:29.000 Now that seems like somebody who should probably be educating your kids, young adults, over at the Harvard Law Cyber Law Clinic.
00:02:36.000 That seems like a perfectly appropriate response from an academic, an academic who writes for Wired and Slate, Alejandro Caraballo.
00:02:42.000 And of course, Alejandro Caraballo is able to get away with this sort of stuff because Alejandro Caraballo is at the top of the intersectional list.
00:02:48.000 This happens to be a wise Latina, Latino, who believes that he is a Latina, which is like So many checks on the intersectional checkmark list that you can say anything, including celebrating when somebody's phone gets hacked.
00:03:01.000 Or take, for example, Ron Filipkowski.
00:03:03.000 So Ron Filipkowski is a person who is, of course, another radical leftist.
00:03:09.000 He has been seen on the BBC, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and he tweeted out, Matt Walsh got hacked and the last hour of his account has been fun.
00:03:18.000 Again, it's all fun and games when it happens to somebody that you disagree with, obviously.
00:03:21.000 Occupy Democrats, which is another left-wing, blue-checked account.
00:03:26.000 They tweeted out breaking.
00:03:27.000 Far right transphobe Matt Walsh appears to have had his Twitter account hacked as he begins pumping out deeply offensive tweets.
00:03:33.000 And then it quotes a couple of these tweets, which are absurd.
00:03:36.000 Retweet, all caps.
00:03:37.000 Retweet if you think that the hack couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
00:03:41.000 Because this is the way that it works.
00:03:42.000 Again.
00:03:43.000 For my enemies, anything is sufficient, according to the radical left.
00:03:48.000 Just delightful, delightful.
00:03:50.000 These are the kind, nice, tolerant people.
00:03:52.000 They're so kind and nice and tolerant that if you disagree with them, they want to see criminal things happen to you.
00:03:57.000 You want to know why America is getting more and more polarized?
00:04:00.000 Because there are people in public life, on the left, who say this sort of stuff, and nobody on the left actually condemns it.
00:04:05.000 I'd like to see somebody on the left say that Alejandro Caraballo is doing something deeply wrong by celebrating a phone hacking.
00:04:11.000 Or Ron Filipkowski, or Occupy Democrats.
00:04:14.000 Or for example, Imani Gandhi, who is a writer for Rewire News Group, who tweeted out in very similar fashion that this was delightful.
00:04:25.000 She tweeted, ugh, this bleep again.
00:04:27.000 Clicks on Matt Walsh trending topic.
00:04:28.000 Oh, how delightful.
00:04:29.000 It's delightful when your enemies get hacked.
00:04:32.000 Or for example, reporters like Steven Monticelli, who is a writer for the Daily Beast, Steven Monticelli tweeted out, just putting this out there, but it would really be something if whoever hacked Matt Walsh's blog leaks the DMs.
00:04:45.000 And this is always the rule, right?
00:04:46.000 If they leak Donald Trump's tax returns, that's good.
00:04:49.000 If there is a leak of national security secrets under Joe Biden, that's bad.
00:04:54.000 If they leak a bunch of stuff about Donald Trump and his administration from the inside, if it's Alexander Vindman leaking Ukraine docs, that's good.
00:05:02.000 If there's a leak that targets Democrats, that's bad.
00:05:06.000 So I have a perspective on all of this, which is, generally speaking, leaks are bad.
00:05:10.000 And also, generally speaking, phone hackings are bad.
00:05:14.000 And if we live in a society where we respect each other as, you know, members of the same civilization, you shouldn't celebrate when criminal things happen to your political opponents.
00:05:21.000 But the left seems to have, like the fact that they say this stuff out loud without any fear of blowback is kind of incredible.
00:05:26.000 Imagine if, for example, a Democratic operative, a person on the left, say John Lovett from Pod Save America got hacked.
00:05:34.000 His phone got hacked.
00:05:34.000 And I immediately went online.
00:05:35.000 I started talking about how wonderful it was that he'd gotten hacked.
00:05:38.000 First of all, it'd be absurd.
00:05:39.000 It'd be disgusting.
00:05:40.000 But the entire left would correctly call me out and suggest that it's terrible because law-breaking is bad.
00:05:46.000 If you have the correct perspective, then law-breaking is fine.
00:05:46.000 But this is the rule.
00:05:50.000 Law-breaking is just evidence that you are really, really motivated.
00:05:55.000 In fact, the more laws you break, the more motivated you are.
00:05:57.000 This is why the left has a tough time with looting, for example.
00:05:59.000 If it's left-wing looting, they're like, oh, well, they are really committed to the cause.
00:06:02.000 I mean, they may have gone a little far, a little far, but we've got to understand where they're coming from.
00:06:06.000 Again, we've got to understand where they're coming from, Routine, when it comes to lawbreaking.
00:06:10.000 It's absolutely inappropriate.
00:06:11.000 But unfortunately, this is the way the left works.
00:06:14.000 Okay, in just one second, we'll get to the biggest news of the day, which is, of course, Fox News paying out nearly $800 million to Dominion Voting Systems.
00:06:20.000 It's the largest media settlement of all time.
00:06:22.000 Bar none, it is not close.
00:06:24.000 We'll get to that momentarily first.
00:06:26.000 You remember when Silicon Valley Bank failed?
00:06:29.000 Well, the reason that it failed is because Silicon Valley Bank had relied apparently on the full faith and credit of the United States government.
00:06:36.000 They bought a lot of government bonds.
00:06:37.000 When they bought all of those government bonds, they assumed that the federal government would not be raising the interest rates radically because inflation wouldn't run out of control.
00:06:44.000 The interest rates did radically increase, the price of their bonds went down, they had all their assets in now devalued bonds, and so they went under.
00:06:51.000 Well, what it should teach you is that you might want to take some of your money and put it in a precious metal that the government cannot actually manipulate.
00:06:51.000 What does this teach you?
00:06:58.000 A true economic crisis is in fact going to happen.
00:07:00.000 That's why you should consider diversifying at least some of your assets into precious metals, which is why I own gold from Birch Gold in preparation for uncertain economic times.
00:07:07.000 And you can trust them too.
00:07:08.000 Gold can help you hedge against inflation because its value tends to rise when the cost of living increases.
00:07:12.000 Unlike other assets like paper currency, the supply of gold is limited, which can help maintain its value over time.
00:07:17.000 If you're looking for a smart and safe investment opportunity, get in touch with my friends at Birch Gold.
00:07:21.000 They can help you convert your IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in precious metals.
00:07:25.000 Text Ben to 989898.

00:07:37.000 Again, text Ben to 989898 today to get started.
00:07:38.000 Okay.
00:07:42.000 The big news yesterday is that Fox News has now paid out $787 million to avoid a trial.
00:07:48.000 They're being sued by Dominion Voting Systems for $1.6 billion.
00:07:52.000 So they ended up settling for approximately half of what they're actually being sued for, which is actually a really big settlement amount.
00:07:58.000 That's a huge settlement amount.
00:08:00.000 Fox News generally supposedly has, in terms of like cash and cash equivalent assets, about $4.2 billion.
00:08:05.000 So that's actually a hefty chunk of change out of their asset base.
00:08:10.000 The reason that they settled is because they were hoping this would be dismissed on summary judgment.
00:08:14.000 They were hoping that the defamation trial against Dominion, Dominion is in fact a public company.
00:08:21.000 What I mean by that is that they are not actually like a private actor.
00:08:25.000 The way that it works in defamation law is that if I attack somebody and that person is considered a private person, the standard is lower for defamation.
00:08:32.000 They can sue me for defamation without having to show malice and intent.
00:08:37.000 So the way that it works, if you attack a public figure, if I were to attack somebody publicly, if I attack Joe Biden, for example, Joe Biden can't sue me for defamation unless he can prove actual malice, right?
00:08:48.000 I knew that it was false.
00:08:48.000 Actual malice.
00:08:49.000 I said it anyway, and I did it because I hate him.
00:08:51.000 And I knew beforehand that it was actually false.
00:08:55.000 So Dominion had to prove that standard.
00:08:58.000 The case that they were making is that Fox News knew full well when it started voting crazy theories from people like Sidney Powell, that Dominion voting systems had been hacked, that all of the vote totals had been changed in the aftermath of Election 2020, that Fox News and its personalities knew full well that all of that was nonsense and they aired it anyway.
00:09:14.000 Now, Fox News had some wiggle room in terms of its defense.
00:09:18.000 Because the typical answer to that is that you can do the just asking questions kind of thing.
00:09:23.000 Now the question is, how far does that go?
00:09:25.000 If you're a news channel and you say, listen, I'm just asking questions as to whether your mother is a prostitute.
00:09:30.000 I'm just asking questions about that.
00:09:32.000 Is that defamation?
00:09:34.000 It's kind of borderline, right?
00:09:35.000 Because I know your mom isn't a whore, but if I say on the air, you know, I'm just asking questions as to whether your mom is a whore.
00:09:41.000 And here's Bob over here and he's going to make the argument that your mom is a whore.
00:09:43.000 I'm really not going to challenge Armando very much.
00:09:45.000 I'm just going to kind of let him say it.
00:09:47.000 Is that defamation or is that not?
00:09:48.000 That's essentially what Dominion Voting Systems was arguing in this particular case.
00:09:53.000 And Fox...
00:09:54.000 was making the case that they actually exist inside this window of the just asking questions, investigating all possible theories.
00:10:03.000 So before the actual trial was slated to take place, there's a First Amendment expert at the University of Utah named Ron Nell Anderson-Jones who says it isn't enough to show that Fox made a conscious decision to amplify election denialism generally in its coverage.
00:10:13.000 Dominion has to show that the people who are responsible for creating or platforming the false statements about Dominion had knowledge the statements were false.
00:10:19.000 It's about connecting the dots.
00:10:21.000 And this is why the Leaks that came out the or the data that came out in the discovery from the text messages of people like Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity or Laura Ingram suggesting that they knew that a lot of this stuff was crap.
00:10:36.000 That's why Dominion was relying on that and what Fox was really doing here was preventing its host from having to get on the stand because they would have had to be put on the stand by Dominion and they would have had to testify whether or not they knew that Dominion's Claims were right, and that Sidney Powell and Trump's claims were wrong.
00:10:50.000 And that would have been damaging to Fox in two ways.
00:10:53.000 One, it would have damaged Fox because it would have shown, presumably, that these hosts were quote-unquote lying to their audiences.
00:10:58.000 This is what Dominion was hoping to prove.
00:11:00.000 And two, it would have suggested to the audience of Fox that actually Donald Trump has been lying all along since November about what actually happened with Dominion Voting Systems and all the like, right?
00:11:10.000 Donald Trump has been out there, I kid you not, actually saying that Fox should have gone to trial and then at trial should have argued that he was right in the first place and Dominion Voting Systems actually did have its systems hacked, which would have been insane.
00:11:20.000 I mean, totally crazy.
00:11:22.000 Trump had made that case because, of course, Trump's not the one who has to pay the price for any of that.
00:11:26.000 Fox News would have had to pay the price for that.
00:11:29.000 The judge in this particular case had already suggested it was perfectly clear.
00:11:33.000 Eric Davis, who is the judge in the Delaware Superior Court, he had already said that it was perfectly clear that the claims against against Dominion were totally false.
00:11:41.000 The ones that were being made by Trump's team and by some people on Fox News platforming them.
00:11:46.000 Those claims were false.
00:11:47.000 Davis declared an approved trial ruling last month.
00:11:49.000 It was crystal clear the allegations were false.
00:11:50.000 But that, of course, was not the end of the case.
00:11:53.000 Politico said libel suits are notoriously difficult to win in the United States thanks to the New York Times vs. Sullivan decision of 1964 in which the Supreme Court ruled that it wasn't enough for a public figure to show a news organization published something false about them to win a defamation case.
00:12:05.000 Instead, accusers have to show actual malice, which means that the outlet either knowingly published a falsehood or published one with reckless disregard for the truth.
00:12:13.000 But of course, there's a lot of kind of juicy stuff in the documents.
00:12:18.000 So there were Tucker Carlson's candid characterizations of stop-the-steal attorney-in-chief Sidney Powell.
00:12:22.000 He labels her a liar and unguided missile who is dangerous as hell.
00:12:26.000 And tantamount to poison, there's a Lou Dobbs producer who in January 2021 calls Rudy Giuliani so full of bleep Laura Ingraham had suggested that he was such an idiot and Sean Hannity had labeled him an insane person.
00:12:37.000 All of this sort of stuff came up in the documents.
00:12:41.000 Noah Feldman, who is a left winger over at Harvard, he says it's hard to get evidence to prove that someone in the media knew something was false.
00:12:46.000 What's unusual in this case is there's a lot of evidence that these people knew that the claims were false.
00:12:50.000 But again, Knowing it's false and thinking it's false are not quite the same thing.
00:12:55.000 Because what you could do is you could say, you know, I think it's false.
00:12:58.000 I'm almost certain it's false, but I still have an obligation to air the other side of the argument, which is the case, presumably, that Fox would have had to make at the trial.
00:13:05.000 They didn't want it to go to trial because if they get in front of a jury, Very likely that the jury hits them with a full penalty.
00:13:11.000 And not only that, it would have been very bad for their host.
00:13:14.000 So instead, what they decided to do was pay out this giant settlement.
00:13:16.000 And again, this is the largest media settlement in American history by a factor of about five.
00:13:21.000 The last media settlement that was this large is, I believe, when there was an attempt to pay off the beef industry after Oprah stepped in it by attacking the beef industry way back when.
00:13:32.000 That was like $120 million.
00:13:32.000 This is like $800 million.
00:13:36.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second, and also what it means for media coverage generally, and the celebration of left-wing media, which routinely lie but don't get sued for it.
00:13:43.000 And when they do, it kind of goes away.
00:13:45.000 We'll talk about that momentarily.
00:13:46.000 First, the economy gets worse by the day.
00:13:48.000 It's time to change your spending habits.
00:13:49.000 If you haven't changed the way you buy meat yet, you really should.
00:13:52.000 Let me give you three reasons to subscribe to Good Ranchers.
00:13:54.000 First, Good Ranchers gives you free bacon for a year.
00:13:56.000 That's a pound and a half of bacon in every single box.

00:14:00.000 Second, Good Ranchers offers a price lock guarantee, meaning when you subscribe, your price doesn't change for the length of your subscription.
00:14:06.000 When the price of meat is expected to increase by another 4.5% in the coming year, it could be a huge savings for you and your family.
00:14:11.000 Third, Good Ranchers meat is unlike any other.
00:14:13.000 Their all natural burgers, USDA prime steaks, better than organic chicken will change your standard for great meat.
00:14:18.000 My friends at Good Ranchers have pledged never to source meat from any farm that uses unapproved experimental treatments and medicines in their animals.
00:14:24.000 So how do I know that Good Ranchers does like the best job with their meat?
00:14:27.000 Well, because they actually went out of their way to get me the single kosher steak they have ever made.
00:14:31.000 And let me tell you, it was just spectacular.
00:14:31.000 And then I ate it.
00:14:33.000 Good Ranchers is giving you free bacon for a year.
00:14:35.000 It's a pound and a half of bacon in every box, a $240 value.
00:14:38.000 Head on over to GoodRanchers.com.
00:14:39.000 Use my code Ben for 20 bucks off your order.
00:14:41.000 You'll get free bacon, great meat, secure price, 20 bucks off your first order.

00:14:46.000 Again, that's GoodRanchers.com.
00:14:48.000 American meat delivered.
00:14:50.000 Okay, so according to the Wall Street Journal, Fox Corporation has agreed to pay $787.5 million to settle its legal battle with Dominion Voting Systems just before the start of a trial on the voting machine company's allegations that it was defamed by network broadcasts after the 2020 presidential election.
00:15:08.000 Legal observers said that the agreement was the largest known media defamation settlement ever in the United States.
00:15:13.000 It ends a two-year legal battle that has threatened Fox News and cast an unflattering spotlight on its inner workings.
00:15:18.000 The Superior Court judges I mentioned had already concluded that both Fox News and Fox Business broadcast false claims about Dominion, voiced by both network hosts and Trump associates.
00:15:25.000 Fox in a statement acknowledged the judges' findings.
00:15:29.000 So the Fox statement said that the settlement reflected, quote, its continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards.
00:15:34.000 We are hopeful that our decisions resolve this dispute with dominion amicably instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial allows the country to move forward from these issues.
00:15:41.000 So Fox News does not have to make any apologies.
00:15:43.000 This is what the left wanted.
00:15:44.000 The left wanted an apology.
00:15:45.000 Fox is like, we're not making an apology.
00:15:46.000 We're not going to make our hosts get on the air and apologize for their coverage or anything like that.
00:15:50.000 We're just going to sign you a giant ass check.
00:15:52.000 And Dominion, because it's a business, is like, okay, all right, we'll take the giant check.
00:15:56.000 Dominion's chief executive, John Powell, said in a statement, Now, again, listen, how other people choose to cover the issues is how other people choose to cover the issues.
00:16:10.000 On this show, we made very clear from the very early days that there was not sufficient evidence of anything remotely approaching the kind of stuff that Sidney Powell was saying to verify anything that she was saying.
00:16:19.000 And it appeared that she was saying crazy talk from pretty much the beginning.
00:16:22.000 How Fox chose to cover that is up to Fox, and presumably they are now willing to pay a penalty to avoid people having to testify.
00:16:31.000 With that said, this sets a kind of interesting defamation standard for the future, because the reality is that now you get into the subjective state of mind.
00:16:40.000 The actual defamation standard now, if you're getting into subjective frame of mind, reckless disregard, for example, reckless disregard of the truth, Our networks recklessly disregard the truth, like, all the time.
00:16:53.000 All the time.
00:16:54.000 And just to take the latest example, all over your TV this week, CNN, MSNBC, is going to be spoken the untrue statement that America is a systemically racist country in which black people are routinely killed by white people.
00:17:07.000 That will be spread all over your TV.
00:17:09.000 And no one will say a word, because again, it matches the narrative.
00:17:12.000 You will have people on.
00:17:13.000 I mean, we've had Daily Wire hosts attacked on network TV in the most egregious and untrue ways.
00:17:21.000 And people who are saying it know they're being reckless with the truth.
00:17:23.000 But it doesn't matter because, again, defamation standards are unevenly applied.
00:17:27.000 The precedent that this sets is sort of dangerous, legally speaking.
00:17:30.000 And again, what it very often comes down to, and this is always true in a trial setting, is if you believe that the jury is not going to side with you, If you believe the jury is biased against you, you're always better off signing a settlement check.
00:17:41.000 This is just a basic, as a lawyer, a basic legal truism.
00:17:44.000 Juries are risky.
00:17:46.000 If you don't want the risk, you don't go to trial.
00:17:48.000 Instead, you settle.
00:17:49.000 Does that mean that Fox lied?
00:17:51.000 It certainly means that Sidney Powell was lying.
00:17:53.000 Does it mean that people were putting things on air they shouldn't have put on air?
00:17:55.000 Listen, again, I covered the issues in a very different way.
00:17:57.000 I would not have put people like Sidney Powell on air because I don't think that Sidney Powell was credible in any way, shape, or form.
00:18:02.000 I don't think the claims that were being made by the Trump campaign that they were not even making in legal filings were credible from the beginning.
00:18:09.000 With that said, again, other people are able to cover these things in other ways, and I'm a little bit uncomfortable, maybe a lot uncomfortable, with the new standard that is being set, which is that if we are going to air, we air on the side of the not asking questions.
00:18:24.000 When personal belief sides against a particular story, this is now an excuse not to platform the other side.
00:18:32.000 Dominion, for its part, they say that Fox has now admitted to telling lies.
00:18:37.000 Here is one of the Dominion attorneys talking about it.
00:18:40.000 Fox and Dominion have reached an unhistoric settlement.
00:18:44.000 Fox has admitted to telling lies about Dominion that caused enormous damage to my company, our employees, and the customers that we serve.
00:18:54.000 Nothing can ever make up for that.
00:18:58.000 So, again, what Fox is doing mostly is preventing people from having to take the stand.
00:19:02.000 That would have included both Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Maria Bartiromo.
00:19:07.000 You can tell, by the way, the media is actually quite disappointed with this outcome, mainly because they're not going to get the spectacle of watching all of these people testify.
00:19:15.000 Now, the problem for Fox is, of course, this is not the only trial that is actually on Fox's radar.
00:19:20.000 Fox News is still facing a $2.7 billion defamation suit from Smartmatic.
00:19:25.000 And given the precedent here, there's a very solid shot they end up settling with Smartmatic as well.
00:19:30.000 According to the Washington Post, in a nearly 300-page complaint filed in New York State's Supreme Court in February of 2021, Smartmatic alleged that Fox News knowingly made over 100 false statements and implications about the company, amplifying false information from Donald Trump and his allies that Smartmatic played a role in his election loss.
00:19:46.000 The lawyer for Smartmatic released a statement saying Dominion's litigation exposed some of the misconduct and damage caused by Fox's disinformation campaign.
00:19:53.000 Smartmatic will expose the rest.
00:19:55.000 And just a second, we'll get some media reaction to all of this.
00:20:08.000 Again, there's a lot of sort of holier-than-thou going on in the left-wing media, which has settled cases like this for much smaller amounts in the past.
00:20:14.000 We have that momentarily first.
00:20:16.000 This year marks the 75th anniversary of Israel's independence, Yom Ha'atzmut, coincidentally.
00:20:20.000 The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is also celebrating 40 years of ministry.
00:20:24.000 Today, thousands of Jews, both in Israel and in war-torn Ukraine, struggle to survive life-threatening crises, including extreme poverty, hunger, and violence in the form of conflict, anti-Semitism, and terrorism.
00:20:33.000 Among those vulnerable people are tens of thousands of Holocaust survivors and elderly Jews who will not survive without basic needs.
00:20:40.000 Simple fact of the matter is if you head on over to Israel and you check out Yad Vashem, yesterday was Yom HaShoah.
00:20:44.000 You see what people who went through the Holocaust had to suffer.
00:20:47.000 Many of those people are still alive and living in Ukraine right now.
00:20:50.000 You can help them out.
00:20:51.000 Just $40 to provide one person with an emergency food box and hot meals for a week today.
00:20:55.000 We have a special matching opportunity where your gift will double in impact.
00:20:58.000 A $40 gift becomes an $80 gift to $100 gift becomes a $200 gift.
00:21:01.000 You see how the math works.
00:21:02.000 Go to benforthefellowship.org or call 800-331-3737 to rush an emergency food box today.
00:21:08.000 Your special gift will double in impact, providing suffering Jews with twice as much nourishment.
00:21:12.000 That's benforthefellowship.org or call 800-331-3737.
00:21:16.000 331-3737.
00:21:17.000 So, of course, members of the media are celebratory about all of this.
00:21:20.000 Jake Tapper yesterday was reading the news on CNN, which is a network that has routinely told untruth and starts laughing about it.
00:21:29.000 Fox, trying to put a positive face on what can only be interpreted as one of the ugliest and most embarrassing moments in the history of journalism, Fox issued a statement saying, quote, we are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute, dispute, with Dominion Voting Systems.
00:21:49.000 We acknowledge the court's rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false.
00:21:54.000 The settlement reflects I'm sorry, this is going to be difficult to say with a straight face.
00:21:58.000 This settlement reflects Fox's continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards.
00:22:04.000 We are hopeful that our... Sorry!
00:22:08.000 Okay, now I will point out here that the sort of cynicism here from CNN, you know, okay, they want to say that Fox News does not have high journalistic standards.
00:22:16.000 CNN is allowed to say that.
00:22:17.000 I will also point out that CNN's journalistic standards are somewhat lacking.
00:22:20.000 It was not all that long ago that CNN had to settle a lawsuit from Nick Sandman, you'll recall, over the case in which they said that a kid wearing a MAGA hat had somehow victimized a Native American gentleman when the truth was almost precisely the opposite.
00:22:33.000 According to CNN Business, at the time, the settlement allowed CNN to avoid a lengthy and potentially unpredictable trial.
00:22:39.000 Sandman had sought $275 million in damages in a lawsuit that he filed against CNN last March.
00:22:45.000 So CNN did issue an apology, apparently, to Nick Sandman at the time.
00:22:52.000 The reality is that people who are watching the news know what they are watching very often.
00:22:56.000 And so there are a lot of people on the left like, well, why aren't people who watch Fox News turning off the news?
00:23:00.000 I mean, people were lying.
00:23:02.000 Here's the thing.
00:23:03.000 News consumers, I think, typically are a little smarter than commentators tend to think that they are.
00:23:07.000 What I mean by that is that they can discern very often between, you know, a lie and the truth.
00:23:13.000 And so the fact that Fox News was airing a bunch of nonsense from Sidney Powell is pretty self-evident to anybody with a brain that Sidney Powell was not telling the truth about all of this.
00:23:21.000 And again, the new standard that is being set up, if you want to revise New York Times versus Sullivan, and you want to lower the standard for defamation, I'm ready to hear about it.
00:23:30.000 I'd like to hear what exactly the case is because, frankly, defamation law in other countries is significantly Less liberal than it is in the United States.
00:23:39.000 However, if you're going to say that meeting the standard of actual defamation, actual malice, now includes, I think very strongly that a thing is not true, but if I air the opposing point of view, then this means I'm guilty of defamation, you're getting into some very dicey territory very quickly.
00:23:52.000 Now speaking of media airing just absolute lies, outrageous lies, and treating it as the absolute truth, obviously the best example of our times is the lie That boys can become girls and girls can become boys.
00:24:03.000 And this is aired across the media.
00:24:04.000 It is reflected by the Biden administration.
00:24:07.000 But, kind of a fascinating tiff has broken out between the Biden administration and one of the most famous quote-unquote trans people in America.
00:24:14.000 That would be Leah Thomas.
00:24:15.000 Now, Leah Thomas, formerly Will Thomas, is a dude.
00:24:20.000 Will Thomas is a very large dude.
00:24:22.000 Will Thomas is a six foot one biological man who ranked 554 against the men when he was an NCAA swimmer as a man.
00:24:30.000 Then he switched over to swimming as a woman and suddenly was number one.
00:24:34.000 In the country, as a woman.
00:24:36.000 Well, the Biden administration put out a Title IX guidance suggesting that when there was unfair advantage for men in sports, theoretically, you could have bodies that put restrictions on whether trans women could compete against the actual women.
00:24:50.000 And Leah Thomas is very angry about this because as a beautiful woman, Leah Thomas has strong feelings that all women, including women who still have penises, should be allowed to compete with the other women, even if they have like a foot height advantage and a lot different musculature.
00:25:07.000 My name is Leah Thomas.
00:25:08.000 I'm a transgender woman, a former college swimmer, and the first trans athlete to be named Division 1 NCAA champion.
00:25:14.000 That's why it breaks my heart to see trans kids across the country lose out on these opportunities.
00:25:21.000 The Department of Education has proposed a new rule for Title IX regarding transgender athletes.
00:25:26.000 This rule would prohibit blanket bans on transgender kids, especially in grades K-8.
00:25:31.000 However, it would not prohibit discrimination against trans kids in the high school and college levels under the guise of competitive fairness.
00:25:39.000 This rule is a good start.
00:25:41.000 However, it is not enough.
00:25:43.000 During this time of intense anti-trans backlash, the trans community needs explicit protections from discrimination in order to live our lives freely and equally.
00:25:54.000 Hello!
00:25:55.000 I'm Macho Woman Randy Savage!
00:25:57.000 Randy with an I!
00:25:59.000 And I'm here to tell you that women gotta be able to compete with one another!
00:26:04.000 Yeah!
00:26:07.000 Snap into a Slim Jane!
00:26:08.000 Um...
00:26:12.000 This is not a woman.
00:26:14.000 This is a man who wants to compete with the woman for bleeps and giggles, and also because he may have some weird fetishes, as has been revealed before.
00:26:25.000 Just a quick note on the new look from Leah Thomas.
00:26:28.000 So Leah Thomas decided not only was he going to look like a woman, he was going to look like a crazy woman.
00:26:34.000 He was going to be a A man who believes he is a woman, but doesn't just believe he is a woman, believes he is a woman with horribly colored hair.
00:26:44.000 So, um, yeah, that is the case.
00:26:47.000 And the media, by the way, agree that this is a beautiful woman.
00:26:50.000 This is a beautiful, stunning woman.
00:26:52.000 The most beautiful woman, yeah!
00:26:55.000 Yeah, sister!
00:26:58.000 So, that's a thing that our media tell us all the time.
00:27:02.000 Not only our media.
00:27:04.000 The real villains in this whole saga, according to the Democrats and the media, are, of course, people like Riley Gaines.
00:27:08.000 Riley Gaines is a swimmer who swam against Leah Thomas and finished second because Riley Gaines is a woman.
00:27:14.000 And if you look at a picture of Leah Thomas next to Riley Gaines, it looks like a picture of me next to my nine-year-old daughter.
00:27:20.000 That's what the picture looks like.
00:27:22.000 Riley Gaines has about a half a foot height disadvantage and also happens to be a girl.
00:27:29.000 But she's the villain.
00:27:31.000 So Katie Porter, one of the more obnoxious Democrats on the Hill, again, famous because she knows what a whiteboard is and sometimes uses one.
00:27:38.000 She was on Bill Maher, and she suggested that Riley Gaines is the problem here.
00:27:42.000 Riley Gaines is out for attention.
00:27:44.000 It's not that she's a woman who was victimized by a man swimming against her and deprived of victory because of that.
00:27:50.000 No, Riley Gaines is out for the likes and the clicks, as opposed to Katie Porter, whose entire career is rooted in likes and clicks.
00:27:56.000 We talked about people becoming, using things to kind of get likes and get clicks.
00:28:02.000 That's not what she's doing.
00:28:03.000 It's not?
00:28:04.000 I've got no truck to ride against personally, but all I've seen her do is stand up for women's rights to fairness and equality.
00:28:09.000 She actually competed against Leah Thomas and it was obviously unfair.
00:28:14.000 Leah Thomas won one of the races in the NCAA Championships by 50 seconds against a bunch of biological females who simply couldn't keep up.
00:28:23.000 That cannot be right.
00:28:24.000 It cannot be fair.
00:28:25.000 That is something that I trust, I think our sporting bodies should be dealing with.
00:28:33.000 And by the way, Riley is speaking up for herself, and that is her prerogative, and I respect her free speech.
00:28:39.000 I think she's speaking up for pretty much every female athlete in the world.
00:28:44.000 Katie Porter just getting owned because, again, it turns out that all it takes is like a small dose of common sense from Piers Morgan there in order to completely implode the narrative.
00:28:51.000 But the narrative matters more than that.
00:28:53.000 And no amount of facts will change the narrative.
00:28:56.000 And corporate America is behind that narrative as well, which is why the fight between Disney and the state of Florida continues apace.
00:29:03.000 And not just that, Disney is doubling down on its social leftism.
00:29:06.000 So apparently I made headlines a little bit earlier this week when I suggested that Frozen 3, I said Frozen 4 because frankly, who cares?
00:29:13.000 But Frozen 3, I said if in Frozen 3, Disney decides, as widely rumored, to make Elsa a lesbian, they will be destroying their company.
00:29:22.000 Because there are a lot of parents out there who have let their kids watch the Frozen series who are not interested in their kids being indoctrinated about alternative sexualities in the middle of a kid's film.
00:29:22.000 Which, of course, is true.
00:29:33.000 And they're not interested in their daughters prancing around in dresses that have now become incredibly politicized and sexualized because of Disney.
00:29:41.000 But Disney is going to double down on that stuff, apparently.
00:29:43.000 Like, this is their new move.
00:29:45.000 The evidence that Disney is going to double down on that, we'll get to in just one moment.
00:29:48.000 First, a good life insurance plan can give you peace of mind.
00:29:50.000 You need life insurance if you're a responsible human being.
00:29:53.000 And I have dependents, I have life insurance.

00:29:56.000 It really is.
00:29:57.000 That simple.

00:30:38.000 Or maybe you can't get enough life insurance via your current employer.

00:30:46.000 Go to policygenius.com slash Shapiro and find the best life insurance.
00:30:50.000 Also, a lot of people on the left share a worldview where literally nothing is sacred.
00:30:54.000 Literally.
00:30:54.000 For example, apparently it is fine to be pro-choice and kill babies in the womb or engage in the human sacrifice of taking small children and transing them.
00:31:03.000 Yet the fundamentals of Judeo-Christian law compel us to revere the sacred, including God himself.
00:31:08.000 Commandment number three, thou shalt not take thy God's name in vain, is akin to casual blasphemy.
00:31:12.000 It's not something that we think about a lot, but you know whose mind it did cross.
00:31:15.000 Jordan Peterson's in the latest episode of Exodus, we talked about this concept.
00:31:18.000 Yeah, I've kind of revamped my earlier view about taking the Lord's name in vain.
00:31:22.000 You know, I thought, well, it definitely meant, do not take to yourself what is religious to justify your own tyrannical presuppositions.
00:31:31.000 But I also think there is likely an injunction against The entire series is just fantastic.
00:31:37.000 It was really a privilege to sit with Jordan.
00:31:38.000 I'm in this part of the series, and we sat with esteemed scholars, theologians, and artists to discuss one of the most seminal books in the Bible.
00:31:44.000 New episodes are coming online every single week exclusively for DailyWire Plus members.
00:31:47.000 take that into account.
00:31:49.000 The entire series is just fantastic.
00:31:50.000 It was really a privilege to sit with Jordan.
00:31:52.000 I'm in this part of the series, and we sat with esteemed scholars, theologians, and artists to discuss one of the most seminal books in the Bible.
00:31:58.000 New episodes are coming online every single week exclusively for Daily Wire Plus members.
00:32:01.000 Join now at dailywire.com slash subscribe to watch Exodus.
00:32:06.000 As I was talking about, Disney is now mobilizing, doubling down on the LGBTQ plus minus divided by sign, happy face emoji, sad face emoji, poop emoji agenda.
00:32:14.000 There was some talk that maybe Disney would moderate its social stances, given the fact that they've actually seen some pretty severe market blowback after deciding to put lesbians in Buzz Lightyear's film, the Buzz Lightyear film, and to move left with regard to the Florida bill, the Parental Rights and Education Act in Florida.
00:32:29.000 Well, no, they're actually just going to keep going with this.
00:32:32.000 And so now, The California version of Disneyland is going to be launching their first ever Pride Night.
00:32:38.000 Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be dressed in rainbow costumes because this is really what's important.
00:32:42.000 So before they've had like gay days at Disneyland.
00:32:45.000 This sort of happens informally where a lot of gay people show up and are wearing rainbow gear around the Disneyland.
00:32:52.000 You know, premises.
00:32:53.000 And Disney has been selling, like, rainbow headgear for quite a while, right?
00:32:56.000 They've got, like, rainbow bows and all this kind of stuff.
00:32:58.000 But it's always fairly subtle.
00:32:59.000 This is not particularly subtle.
00:33:01.000 Disney is now garbing its historic IP in the rainbow flag in its advertising.
00:33:08.000 And they're fully celebrating this, right?
00:33:10.000 Again, this is all part of the giant kind of cultural battle that Disney has decided to enter into, which is amazing.
00:33:15.000 This is a children's company.
00:33:17.000 It's a children's company.
00:33:19.000 Disney does produce some content for adults.
00:33:21.000 That content does not include Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, and Goofy.
00:33:28.000 Those typically are not the characters where you're thinking, wow, that's some adult material right there, is Minnie and Minnie Mouse.
00:33:34.000 At least not unless you're one of these weird fanfic people.
00:33:37.000 Now, they're just going for it.
00:33:38.000 So in their advertising, they're actually just donning out all of the characters in gay pride outfits.
00:33:45.000 And they are apparently having an LGBTQ-friendly Pride Night event in June.
00:33:51.000 So what are the details?
00:33:52.000 Well, the details are, according to USA Today, these are not to be confused with Gay Days, which are organized by a third party.
00:33:57.000 These are held directly by Disney.
00:33:59.000 It's a new after-hours event, debuting as Disney continues to come under fire for its inclusivity, according to USA Today, because USA Today is a wild left publication.
00:34:08.000 It'll be held June 13th and June 15th at California's Disneyland Park.
00:34:12.000 The specially ticketed event officially begins at 9 p.m.
00:34:14.000 each night after the park closes to guests, but Pride Night guests can enter the park as early as 6 p.m., similar to their other after-hours events.
00:34:22.000 The tickets cost $139.
00:34:23.000 It's a cash grab, obviously.
00:34:25.000 For each guest aged 3 and up.
00:34:28.000 Ah, yes, there are no age restrictions on Pride Night.
00:34:30.000 Now, it's perfect for kitties.
00:34:32.000 It's perfect for kitties, obviously.
00:34:34.000 And this is not a shock, because this is what Disney has decided to do.
00:34:39.000 And so they are making an overt play that the market is going to wallop them.
00:34:44.000 Get ready.
00:34:45.000 Over the next few years, Disney's IP, some of the best IP in literally all of human history, is going to be degraded by the left-wingers who actually run Disney and staff its halls.
00:34:55.000 I'm here for it.
00:34:55.000 I'm ready for it.
00:34:56.000 Meanwhile, the battle between the state of Florida and Disney continues.
00:35:01.000 You'll recall that originally what happened here is that Disney got involved for no apparent reason in the Parental Rights and Education Act debate.
00:35:07.000 That bill was widely popular in Florida.
00:35:09.000 All it prevented was K through eight-year-old students, K through three students from learning about radical LGBTQ plus minus divided by sign, gender theory, and sexual orientation.
00:35:23.000 That's all the bill did.
00:35:24.000 And Disney was like, no, we cannot have this.
00:35:26.000 The kids must be gay and trans.
00:35:28.000 It's very important that they learn about alternative sexual lifestyles from their public school teacher.
00:35:32.000 And so we will step up and we will yell about it.
00:35:35.000 This will be our thing.
00:35:37.000 And the state of Florida was like, well, if you're going to take advantage of special tax breaks, is what Governor Sands said, if you're going to take advantage of special tax breaks, like you have an entire special tax district, we can make that go away.
00:35:48.000 The entire idea here is that you are going to stay in your lane.
00:35:51.000 Your lane is providing magical childhood experiences to, you know, children and not getting involved in actual legislation that doesn't impact your business at all.
00:35:59.000 It's one thing if Disney is lobbying on behalf of particular tax laws or employment laws or something.
00:36:05.000 They're a big employer.
00:36:05.000 It's another thing if they just decide to get involved in like the abortion debate.
00:36:09.000 And so Ron DeSantis was like, okay, listen, you guys have the special tax district and this is the way that it works.
00:36:14.000 You guys get out of your lane, you don't get the tax benefits.
00:36:16.000 And Disney then fought back by essentially working to preset all of the rules of the game before there was a transfer of power from the special Disney district to the new board that had been created to oversee Reedy Creek.
00:36:32.000 It was pretty obviously illegal move.
00:36:34.000 I mean, they did it like right at the very end.
00:36:36.000 It was meant to be a way of evading the actual law that was about to kick in.
00:36:41.000 So Governor DeSantis, over the last couple of days, he says he's going to go after Disney in new and interesting ways.
00:36:48.000 It allowed us to have the state now in charge of this special district with five members that were appointed by the governor.
00:36:57.000 This was something that was litigated.
00:36:59.000 This is something that the voters understood.
00:37:02.000 And not only did the legislature Come back in ways that vindicated our position.
00:37:08.000 We won big.
00:37:09.000 So the reality is, clearly, that's direction we were going to go.
00:37:13.000 No more self-government.
00:37:16.000 And they just didn't care.
00:37:17.000 I mean, they thought that they could create some type of development agreements that would essentially render everything that we did null and void and put them in control in perpetuity for this.
00:37:30.000 Well, that's not going to work.
00:37:33.000 That's not going to fly.
00:37:35.000 Okay, now what DeSantis is suggesting is a bunch of actions that the state could take because even if you've got those development agreements in place, guess what?
00:37:43.000 The state can still declare, for example, a state park or maybe open Reedy Creek to other amusement parks because you guys don't actually run the place anymore.
00:37:52.000 And then he jokingly theorized that maybe they would drop a prison there.
00:37:56.000 Which, of course, they're not going to do because that would completely undermine the tourism industry in the state of Florida.
00:37:59.000 That was a joke.
00:38:00.000 And the media, of course, treated it as not a joke because this is their favorite thing.
00:38:02.000 Bob Iger, Disney's chief executive, previously characterized DeSantis as, quote, anti-business and anti-Florida for his actions.
00:38:08.000 But it turns out that you know who's anti-business and anti-Florida?
00:38:11.000 Well, it would be your business because you're not actually making smart business decisions.
00:38:14.000 You're making stupid business decisions that are against the voting of the people of Florida.
00:38:19.000 All to please your left-wing base, Bob Iger.
00:38:21.000 This is an Iger shtick.
00:38:23.000 Remember, Iger is a big Democratic donor.
00:38:24.000 There was even talk that he might run for president as a Democrat.
00:38:27.000 And so he's decided to take one of the largest and most historic American companies ever created and completely twist it to his perverse political desires and then yell and scream when there are consequences to his actions.
00:38:38.000 The company apparently Has earmarked more than $17 billion in spending at the resort over the next decade.
00:38:44.000 But Iger is signaling that future investment in Disney World could be at risk.
00:38:47.000 Nah.
00:38:47.000 What are you going to do?
00:38:48.000 Go build in Puerto Rico?
00:38:50.000 It's fun to watch all the idiots like Farhad Manjoo at the New York Times be like, ah, just pick up Disney World and move it.
00:38:54.000 Good luck to you.
00:38:55.000 Good luck to you.
00:38:56.000 We're not talking $17 billion in costs at that point.
00:38:59.000 Now you're talking like $50 to $100 billion in costs to do that sort of thing.
00:39:04.000 DeSantis and Walt Disney Company have been sparring for more than a year over that tax district.
00:39:10.000 And, you know, again, DeSantis is not going to let it go, which he should not, frankly.
00:39:16.000 And it is Disney's job to get out of the way here.
00:39:19.000 If you decide to play, then you don't get to have special rules.
00:39:21.000 You get the same rules that apply to SeaWorld.
00:39:23.000 You get the same rules that apply to Universal Studios.
00:39:25.000 You get the same rules that apply to everybody else.
00:39:26.000 But Disney has decided that its actual political priorities matter more than its business.
00:39:31.000 And so, you know, who's going to pay?
00:39:32.000 The stockholders.
00:39:33.000 Listen, stockholders, you didn't like Bob Chaypek because you didn't like what just happened over the past couple of years?
00:39:37.000 Get ready for more, because the truth is, Chaypek was a stopgap and actually a more moderate replacement for Iger.
00:39:42.000 Iger is the one who put all this crap in place, and Iger is the one who's going to keep doubling down on it because, again, he has his political priorities.
00:39:49.000 Meanwhile, it's fun to watch members of the left suddenly figure out that they don't like it when the government gets involved in business issues.
00:39:54.000 Suddenly, they're libertarian.
00:39:56.000 Here's MSNBC declaring DeSantis un-American for going after the special tax district for Disney.
00:40:04.000 And his behavior taking on Disney is not only petulant, but should be concerning to people who claim that they're free market conservatives because political retribution against a private company is definitely not conservative and quite frankly, un-American.
00:40:20.000 It's un-American now.
00:40:21.000 It's funny to hear this from folks over on MSNBC, who have yet to find a project they don't want the government to intervene with, unless it is saving unborn babies or telling corporations not to involve themselves in social issues.
00:40:34.000 Meanwhile, you have dullards like Chris Christie.
00:40:36.000 Chris Christie is one of the more annoying people in American politics.
00:40:38.000 I mean, truly, Chris Christie is a blowhard loudmouth who served one good term as New Jersey governor and then completely imploded upon himself and then proceeded in a in one of history's most famous political murder suicides to take out Marco Rubio, like in the bumper car race that was the 2016 primaries and take himself out at the same exact time.
00:40:56.000 Well, now he's attacking Ron DeSantis.
00:40:58.000 He's He has nothing to say really about Trump, but he's very angry at DeSantis apparently.
00:41:01.000 He says, this isn't the guy I want sitting across from President Xi or sitting across from Putin or trying to resolve what's happening in Ukraine.
00:41:07.000 If you can't see around a corner that Bob Iger created for you, I don't think Ron DeSantis is a conservative.
00:41:11.000 So in other words, you think he's too harsh with Disney, so you don't want him sitting with Xi or Putin.
00:41:15.000 Meanwhile, Donald Trump is weirdly attacking DeSantis.
00:41:19.000 He's actually running at DeSantis from the left, which is a very weird move in a presidential primary.
00:41:25.000 Especially when Trump's whole thing is macho man, he's super macho, he is Donald Trump, destroyer, reaper.
00:41:35.000 This is kind of a weird whiny take.
00:41:37.000 He said Disney's next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the governor.
00:41:41.000 In fact, it could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties or the whole thing.
00:41:45.000 Watch, that would be a killer.
00:41:46.000 In the meantime, this is also unnecessary, a political stunt.
00:41:49.000 Ron should work on the squatter mess.
00:41:50.000 So now Donald Trump is saying that DeSantis should lay off of Disney, just a few days after his son declared that conservatives should lay off of Bud Light.
00:41:59.000 It sounds like real conservative stuff.
00:42:02.000 The most important thing for Trump, by the way, is that he, over the past couple of days, launched a project of his own.
00:42:06.000 This, of course, would be he launched another round of non-fungible tokens.
00:42:10.000 Very exciting stuff.
00:42:11.000 So Ron DeSantis is fighting Disney to help try to prevent one of the world's most powerful cultural organizations from going completely woke and indoctrinating kids.
00:42:21.000 And involving itself in ultra-crapadarian politics.
00:42:24.000 And Donald Trump is releasing pictures of himself holding the Liberty Bell.
00:42:28.000 Quote, I am pleased to inform you that due to the great success of my previously launched digital trading cards, we're doing it again.
00:42:33.000 Series 2 available right now.
00:42:36.000 Go to collecttrumpcards.com.
00:42:37.000 Have fun!
00:42:40.000 Deeply important work being done.
00:42:42.000 Deeply important work.
00:42:43.000 By the way, it is important to know here that one of the reasons the left is so fearful of dissent is because he actually knows what he's doing.
00:42:49.000 He actually does know what he is doing.
00:42:51.000 When you're considering your primary vote, you might consider, one, who can win.
00:42:54.000 Two, who's going to be able to actually do things once they win.
00:42:57.000 According to the Washington Post, in one of the most, I would say, frightened pieces I've ever seen, quote, State lawmakers are passing the governor's legislative agenda with a speed some find alarming.
00:43:11.000 If you're a Republican, if you're a conservative, this should make you very happy because this is how it's going to work.
00:43:17.000 This is how you actually achieve things.
00:43:20.000 Worth noting at this point, by the way, that the polls are coming back together a little bit in terms of Trump versus DeSantis.
00:43:26.000 New polls have Trump's bump post-indictment dropping by about 10 points.
00:43:31.000 A couple of weeks ago, he was up over DeSantis, 57-31.
00:43:35.000 DeSantis picked up five points, Trump has lost five points.
00:43:37.000 So now he's up 16 as opposed to 26.
00:43:40.000 The polls are starting to come back together again, which shouldn't be a shock.
00:43:42.000 They were pretty close up until the indictment.
00:43:44.000 Well, we'll get to more on this in just one second.
00:43:45.000 First, as many of you know, our family recently got a dog.
00:43:49.000 He's a very cute dog.
00:43:49.000 He's a good dog.
00:43:51.000 He's happy, happy.
00:43:52.000 And that's a tolerant dog.
00:43:54.000 He is really nice to my kids.
00:43:56.000 My son really rough houses with this dog, and this dog is a sweetie.
00:43:59.000 He's a really good dog.
00:44:00.000 Well, we all want Happy to live a long, healthy, and happy life, which is why I'm excited to give him Ruff Greens.
00:44:06.000 Naturopathic doctor Dennis Black, the founder of Ruff Greens, is focused on improving the health of every dog in America.
00:44:10.000 The dog food you've been giving your dog is dead food, which doesn't have a lot of nutritional value.
00:44:14.000 That's why I've started supplementing Happy's diet with Rough Greens.
00:44:17.000 Rough Greens is a supplement that contains all the necessary vitamins, minerals, probiotics, omega oils, digestive enzymes, and antioxidants your dog needs.

00:44:27.000 Dog owners everywhere are raving about Rough Greens.
00:44:29.000 It supports healthy joints, improves bad breath, boosts energy levels, and a lot more.
00:44:33.000 We are what we eat, and that goes for our dogs, too.
00:44:36.000 We love happy.
00:44:36.000 We want happy to be healthy and happy, which is one of the reasons we use Rough Greens.
00:44:39.000 Naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black is so confident Rough Greens will improve your dog's health.
00:44:43.000 He's offering my listeners a free Jumpstart Trial Bag so your dog can actually try it.
00:44:46.000 That's a free Jumpstart Trial Bag.

00:44:54.000 That's freeroughgreens.com slash Ben today or call 833 MY DOG 33.
00:44:58.000 That's 833 MY DOG 33.
00:45:03.000 Well, meanwhile, the media continued to fulminate over the shooting of Ralph Yarle.
00:45:08.000 Again, it's a horrible case.
00:45:09.000 I mean, there's a case in which a 16-year-old black kid walked up to the wrong door, knocked on the door, apparently was shot through the door by an 84-year-old man, a white man.
00:45:17.000 And this, of course, turned into national news because this is supposed to be emblematic of the entire racial situation in the United States.
00:45:23.000 We talked about yesterday on the show that it's absolute nonsense.
00:45:25.000 The fact is that 84 percent Of all violent crimes, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, committed interracially between blacks and whites are black on white, not white on black.
00:45:33.000 But that doesn't matter to Joe Biden.
00:45:35.000 Joe Biden is going with it.
00:45:36.000 Joe Biden needs the racial narrative because, again, Democrats prey on racial narratives in order to win votes.
00:45:41.000 He tweeted out, So, the rules are, you either win an NCAA championship, or you're a black person who gets shot by a white person.
00:45:45.000 Those are the people who get to go to the White House, according to Joe Biden.
00:45:48.000 What's amazing about this, and what's obviously amazing about this, you know who won't be called to the White House?
00:45:52.000 are, you either win an NCAA championship or you're a black person who gets shot by a white person. Those are the people who get to go to the White House, according to Joe Biden.
00:46:00.000 What's amazing about this, and what's obviously amazing about this, you know who won't be called to the White House is the family of Kaylen Gillis.
00:46:08.000 Who the hell is Kaylen Gillis?
00:46:09.000 Well, you'll never hear of her again.
00:46:10.000 The reason you won't hear of her again is because her situation is almost exactly the same as Ralph Yarles, except she's a white lady who got shot by a white guy.
00:46:17.000 So that's not worthy of media note, because again, it doesn't back a false racial narrative, which is that black people are at systemic risk of death because of white racism and white supremacy in the United States.
00:46:27.000 The New York Times, the same day that the Ralph Yarles story broke, story in the New York Times, but this will end up in the local news stories.
00:46:34.000 Man charged with murder in shooting of woman who went up wrong driveway.
00:46:36.000 A man in upstate New York was charged with murder on Monday in the killing of a woman who was in a car that mistakenly drove into his driveway, according to officials.
00:46:42.000 The woman and the three friends she was with never got out of the car on Saturday night, according to Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff.
00:46:48.000 They were turning around after realizing their error when the man, Kevin Monaghan, 65, stepped out of the house in Hebron, New York, and fired at least two shots at the car, according to the sheriff.
00:46:56.000 One of the bullets struck the woman killing Gillis, 20, and the group drove about six miles to a nearby town before they got through to 911.
00:47:01.000 Emergency services workers responded and performed life-saving measures on Gillis.
00:47:04.000 She was pronounced dead instead.
00:47:07.000 Sheriff Murphy described the killing of Gillis, who lived in Schuylerville, New York, about 20 miles from where the shooting happened, as very sad.
00:47:12.000 He said he knew for a fact she comes from a good family.
00:47:14.000 He knew her personally.
00:47:15.000 He said she was an innocent young girl who was out with friends looking for another friend's house.
00:47:18.000 Unfortunately, they drove up the wrong driveway.
00:47:22.000 So, according to the lawyer for the defense, it was a series of errors which resulted in a tragedy.
00:47:26.000 Now, the reason I point this out is because this is exactly the same case as Ralph Yarrow, except the races are different.
00:47:32.000 Person went up the wrong driveway, got shot.
00:47:36.000 Same in both cases.
00:47:38.000 Doesn't matter.
00:47:39.000 One of these will be a local news story, one of them will be in the news for weeks on end.
00:47:44.000 And we'll be invited to the White House because the narrative must be promoted at all costs.
00:47:49.000 That is all that matters to people like Joe Biden.
00:47:51.000 All that matters to people like Joe Biden is that racial narrative.
00:47:54.000 And by the way, he will extend that racial narrative to things that are completely inappropriate and inappropriate.
00:47:58.000 So yesterday, for example, was Yom HaShoah in Israel.
00:48:02.000 Yom HaShoah is Holocaust Remembrance Day.
00:48:05.000 It's kind of an amazing thing in Israel.
00:48:06.000 Like literally the entire country shuts down a particular preset time of the day.
00:48:10.000 They stop all the cars.
00:48:11.000 Everybody gets out of their car.
00:48:13.000 And anyway, President Biden decided that he was going to tweet out on Holocaust Remembrance Day.
00:48:13.000 Okay.
00:48:16.000 And he tweeted out this quote.
00:48:18.000 On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we grieve the six million Jews and millions of other innocent lives lost during one of the darkest chapters in history.
00:48:25.000 We can't redeem the past, but we can commit to building a future where we uphold the values of justice, equality, and diversity.
00:48:33.000 Okay, so Holocaust Remembrance Day is about the Jews.
00:48:39.000 This attempt to all lives matter to the Holocaust is kind of interesting, coming from the President of the United States.
00:48:43.000 There's been an attempt, when it comes to the Holocaust, to flatten it out into a story about man's inhumanity to man.
00:48:48.000 That is not really what the Holocaust is about.
00:48:50.000 You want examples of man's inhumanity to man?
00:48:51.000 Look all over the world at any given time.
00:48:53.000 People are being inhumane to each other and evil to each other all over the world at any given time.
00:48:56.000 What's unique about the Holocaust, what makes it different, it was the systematic murder of six million people because of their ethnicity.
00:49:02.000 And specifically because of their faith and ethnicity.
00:49:05.000 It was specifically about the targeting of Jews, the age-old problem of anti-Semitism, in its most virulently evil form during the Holocaust.
00:49:12.000 Does Joe Biden have anything to say about that?
00:49:13.000 No, because that might raise weird questions about some members of his own party, if you start talking about anti-Semitism.
00:49:19.000 It might start raising weird questions about, for example, the Middle East, where Hamas is a genocidal anti-Jewish group that claims that it wants to kill every Jew in the area, or about Iran and his foreign policy.
00:49:27.000 So instead, he's going to sidestep that, and the Holocaust turns into a discussion about man's inhumanity to man.
00:49:33.000 This presumably is how you end up with social media posts that liken black Americans to Jews during the Holocaust.
00:49:42.000 This kind of stuff was happening yesterday.
00:49:43.000 I mean, this sort of stuff is silly and it's nonsensical, but again, the narrative is the narrative and it must be preserved at all costs.
00:49:49.000 Okay, time for a thing I like, and then we'll get to some things that I hate.
00:49:53.000 So, things that I like.
00:49:55.000 So there's a new trailer for the newest MCU movie, The Marvels.
00:50:00.000 It looks bad, the trailer.
00:50:02.000 And people didn't like it.
00:50:04.000 Which means, of course, that it's toxic fandom.
00:50:07.000 The way that it works now is that studios, like Disney, right, because Disney owns Marvel, that these studios decide that they are going to go woke, and then people don't like the wokeness, or they don't like the quality, and they're like, this is toxic fandom.
00:50:18.000 You just don't like the Asian girl in the Star Wars movies.
00:50:22.000 That's why you're doing this.
00:50:23.000 It's not because you think Rose is a terrible character.
00:50:25.000 It's because she's Asian.
00:50:26.000 And you hate Asians.
00:50:27.000 Because you're a toxic fan.
00:50:29.000 It's not that you think that The Last Jedi is a bad movie because, honest to goodness, it's a truly crappy movie.
00:50:33.000 It's not because of that.
00:50:36.000 You hate it because you are a sexist who doesn't believe that a girl like Rey could be powerful.
00:50:41.000 So they're doing the same thing now with regard to the Marvels.
00:50:43.000 you decide whether you like this stuff or not.
00:50:43.000 Here's a bit of the trailer.
00:50:45.000 I I You stick around, I'll make you what you want Alright We're looking for Kamala Khan.
00:50:59.000 Okay, so our powers are entangled.
00:51:02.000 I can manipulate my energy.
00:51:03.000 And you... I can totally show you.
00:51:05.000 No!
00:51:08.000 Not again!
00:51:10.000 Hi.
00:51:11.000 Where's our doctor?
00:51:12.000 wherever you were.
00:51:13.000 Oh my god!
00:51:22.000 Shields up!
00:51:36.000 No!
00:51:44.000 Oh, no, no, no, no.
00:51:44.000 We're a team.
00:51:45.000 We're not a team.
00:51:45.000 We're not a team.
00:51:47.000 Isn't that just girl Ghostbusters again?
00:51:55.000 I mean, like, did you like that?
00:51:59.000 If you did, why?
00:52:00.000 Explain it to me.
00:52:01.000 What about that made it good?
00:52:03.000 First of all, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel is one of the worst superhero characters ever.
00:52:08.000 She's like Superman, but with no flaws at all and also incredibly dull.
00:52:13.000 But apparently this means you're a toxic fan if you didn't like this.
00:52:16.000 So there are sites like Screen Rant suggesting that bots are being used in order to downvote the trailer for this thing.
00:52:25.000 Yahoo says, two of the many negative comments on the upcoming superhero movies trailer read, Captain Feminist and the Patriarchy Stone.
00:52:31.000 What a piece of crap.
00:52:32.000 Marvel Disney has gone off the deep end once again.
00:52:34.000 It seems Disney is willing to decimate and destroy anything we remember about Marvel Comics just to push their narrative.
00:52:39.000 And then, of course, Yahoo says, well, the team-up between the trio of superheroes should excite longtime comic book fans.
00:52:44.000 Should it, though?
00:52:45.000 Are any of these characters characters that you either recognize or care about?
00:52:48.000 Why?
00:52:50.000 The trailer has unfortunately been met with a barrage of dislikes and negative comments, receiving backlash from a toxic group within the toxic fandom.
00:52:57.000 Toxic fandom.
00:52:59.000 Some of the comments, by the way, are really funny on YouTube.
00:53:02.000 It was Breitbart reporting.
00:53:03.000 John Nolte did a good job over there.
00:53:05.000 Some of the comments were like, I love the part where Kamala said, it's Marvel in time and Marv's all over them.
00:53:12.000 This song deserved a better video.
00:53:14.000 I'd rather watch Morbius while getting waterboarded.
00:53:18.000 I liked the part at the end when it was over.
00:53:20.000 Yeah, uh, agree.
00:53:22.000 Okay, time for some things that I hate.
00:53:24.000 Okay, so let's talk about Emma Watson.
00:53:30.000 So one of the things that is truly amazing about all of the stars of the Harry Potter film franchise is that they are supposedly great heroes now.
00:53:38.000 They have the guy who played Harry Potter, who's not been famous since, going out there and being in favor of transing the kids and angry at J.K.
00:53:45.000 Rowling.
00:53:45.000 He's only famous because he played a part that J.K.
00:53:47.000 Rowling wrote.
00:53:48.000 And you've got Yeah, Daniel Radcliffe.
00:53:51.000 I don't care about his name.
00:53:53.000 Thanks, producers.
00:53:53.000 I don't care.
00:53:54.000 And Emma Watson, who plays Hermione.
00:53:57.000 And Hermione has become a world historical figure, a very famous person, because she, of course, is politically on the left.
00:54:04.000 Well, it turns out that she's also a crazy person.
00:54:07.000 And this is one of the things that you will notice about the way that the media covers celebrities.
00:54:11.000 If celebrities... So, first of all, virtually all celebrities are nuts.
00:54:15.000 I've spent a lot of time with celebrities, unfortunately.
00:54:17.000 Many of them are just crazy as bleep.
00:54:20.000 I mean, just nutty off the wall.
00:54:22.000 Because the thing is, when you become a celebrity, you get utterly removed from reality.
00:54:26.000 You're surrounded by a bubble of people who are sycophants, who are constantly telling you that everything you say and do is a good idea.
00:54:31.000 It happens all the time.
00:54:32.000 Unless you, like, actually construct a life in which this does not happen.
00:54:37.000 The way I've constructed my life as a quasi-celebrity is that I got married 15 years ago, well before I was a celebrity.
00:54:43.000 I'm part of a deep and abiding religious community with commitment to a faith beyond myself.
00:54:48.000 And I'm very enmeshed in that community where no one cares that I'm well-known.
00:54:52.000 Like, it's just not an issue.
00:54:54.000 That's not how most celebrities are.
00:54:55.000 Most celebrities get trapped because they're not embedded in community, because they didn't get married young, because they don't have kids, right?
00:54:59.000 Because of all of this sort of stuff, they end up in a very weird mental space.
00:55:04.000 But they have the right politics.
00:55:05.000 And so we are supposed to ignore the fact that they're crazy because they have the right politics.
00:55:08.000 That's the way this works.
00:55:09.000 So when you see a right-wing celebrity, and that person is crazy, and he's like, ah, he's crazy.
00:55:14.000 That dude is nuts, right?
00:55:16.000 That's a crazy guy.
00:55:17.000 When it's a left-wing celebrity, who is similarly nuts, like, well, but they are a hero.
00:55:22.000 But they are a hero.
00:55:24.000 And when the left looks at Kid Rock, they're like, oh, that guy's nuts.
00:55:26.000 He's not nuts because he's actually like, you know, a rock star and kind of crazy.
00:55:30.000 No, the reason that Kid Rock is nuts is because he's on the right.
00:55:34.000 But Emma Watson, she's a heroine.
00:55:35.000 I mean, she speaks at the U.N.
00:55:37.000 about the abortions.
00:55:39.000 So, I mean, just look at her political... Because she's an abortion hero, this means that we have to pretend that she's actually not a crazy person, but she's kind of a crazy person.
00:55:48.000 Especially child stars, by the way.
00:55:50.000 Child stars go crazy.
00:55:52.000 Children should not be exposed.
00:55:53.000 Any parent who wants their child to be a star is screwing up their parent.
00:55:58.000 They're doing the wrong thing.
00:55:59.000 Child stars are notorious for going off the rails and completely falling apart as they get older.
00:56:03.000 Emma Watson apparently is no exception to that rule.
00:56:07.000 So for example, back in 2018, she's promoting abortion.
00:56:10.000 She says, it's a great honor to be asked by Porter Magazine to pay the deepest respect to the legacy of Dr. Savita Hlapanavar, whose death powered the determination of activists to change Irish abortion laws and fight for reproductive justice all over the world.
00:56:21.000 And she spoke at the UN and she was a, she was a female rights hero.
00:56:25.000 She's a female rights hero, not just an actress who as a child became famous, but like a real, there's only one problem.
00:56:31.000 She cray.
00:56:33.000 So back in 2019, for example, here was Emma Watson, I never believed the whole I'm happy single spiel.
00:56:46.000 I was like, this is spiel.
00:56:47.000 Yeah.
00:56:48.000 This is totally spiel.
00:56:48.000 Isn't it interesting the stuff that we take in and have to unpack?
00:56:51.000 I know!
00:56:52.000 It took me a long time, but I'm very happy.
00:56:55.000 I call it being self-partnered.
00:56:57.000 Right, right.
00:57:01.000 Right, right.
00:57:02.000 When God and I'm so lonely.
00:57:05.000 It's a yeah, she's a she's crazy.
00:57:07.000 OK, but that's an old example of being crazy.
00:57:09.000 The reason this comes up today is because of the new example of her being crazy.
00:57:12.000 So yesterday it was her 33rd birthday.
00:57:15.000 And here is what she posted.
00:57:17.000 Civil rights hero.
00:57:17.000 And again, because she has the right politics, we're going to ignore the fact that she is.
00:57:21.000 So here's what she posted, quote, This is 33.
00:57:24.000 Holy moly.
00:57:24.000 Before 29, I hadn't even heard of a Saturn return as a concept.
00:57:29.000 Let's just say that I am now well acquainted.
00:57:31.000 I stepped away from my life.
00:57:32.000 I learned to surf badly.
00:57:33.000 I rode some horses.
00:57:34.000 That went better.
00:57:35.000 Did a lot of therapy.
00:57:36.000 Yes, therapy.
00:57:37.000 My brother and I joined forces.
00:57:39.000 I adopted Sofia in Mexico, who seems to be an angel, not at all.
00:57:42.000 We filmed a Harry Potter reunion.
00:57:43.000 I said goodbye to my grandma and grandpa.
00:57:45.000 I retraced my steps.
00:57:46.000 I started a women's environmental investment fund.
00:57:48.000 I played pickleball with Sugar Ray Leonard.
00:57:50.000 I even played golf and then tried to make all my girlfriends learn too.
00:57:53.000 I cut my thumbnail off on both hands trying to cook for myself.
00:57:57.000 How?
00:57:57.000 How is that even possible?
00:57:59.000 And then I was only able to do things one-handed for months.
00:58:02.000 How do you cut off your thumbnail on both hands?
00:58:05.000 Trying to cook.
00:58:06.000 Like with a frying pan?
00:58:09.000 What?
00:58:10.000 I felt really sad and really pissed off about a lot of things.
00:58:13.000 That is unsurprising.
00:58:14.000 I learned more about love and being a woman.
00:58:16.000 Well, you could have asked Leah Thomas about being a woman.
00:58:19.000 That's the shortcut.
00:58:19.000 Or Dylan Mulvaney.
00:58:20.000 It took me three years, but I finally figured out a daily practice and can actually keep it for more than a few days in a row.
00:58:25.000 I burned some things down.
00:58:27.000 I eat green things now.
00:58:29.000 I got obsessed with making Squarespace websites.
00:58:31.000 I directed my first commercial.
00:58:33.000 These pictures were actually taken on my birthday last year, but I wasn't ready to come out of my COVID cocoon.
00:58:38.000 Today, I feel like a butterfly.
00:58:40.000 Wait, you weren't ready to come out of your COVID cocoon in April of 2022?
00:58:43.000 Okay.
00:58:45.000 Thank you to the witches in my coven who are so pivotal in helping me arrive at where and who I am now.
00:58:49.000 Witches in your coven.
00:58:51.000 Ah, witches in your coven.
00:58:52.000 Yes, paganism.
00:58:53.000 It's back.
00:58:54.000 You are my avengers and you inspire me and kick ass.
00:58:56.000 It takes a village.
00:58:57.000 Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
00:58:58.000 And lastly, thank you, my brother, for helping me find the most challenging things with time.
00:59:01.000 Incredibly funny.
00:59:02.000 Thank you.
00:59:03.000 And then she thanks all of her all of her various friends.
00:59:06.000 Uh, yeah, man.
00:59:09.000 OK, but here's the part that's crazy.
00:59:10.000 What the hell is a Saturn Return?
00:59:12.000 It turns out that she is saying that the stars are changing her life.
00:59:17.000 A Saturn return, because I'm a sane person, I had no idea what this was, because I'm not a crazy person who believes that the stars control the course of my life, you know, like an ancient pagan.
00:59:27.000 Apparently, a Saturn return, this is according to chonynicholas.com, is when the planet Saturn finds its way back to the same place it was when you were born.
00:59:36.000 It takes between 27 and 30 years for Saturn to travel through the zodiac, so that means everyone goes through a Saturn return at the end of their 20s, 50s, and 80s.
00:59:44.000 And apparently, this has some horoscopic significance.
00:59:49.000 And this is where you supposedly leave youth behind and enter adulthood based on the rotation of the planet Saturn, which does not care about you because it is a planet in space, rotating based on the forces of gravity and various other forces.
01:00:06.000 So, here's what we should think.
01:00:09.000 I have a quick rule about celebrities.
01:00:11.000 Sometimes they say things that are, you know, okay.
01:00:15.000 Live by the celebrity.
01:00:16.000 Fill in the blank.
01:00:17.000 Live by the celebrity.
01:00:18.000 Die by the celebrity.
01:00:20.000 Always.
01:00:21.000 Always.
01:00:22.000 But, again, nobody's ever going to pay attention to the fact that Emma Watson, hoo-hoo, because she has the right politics.
01:00:26.000 And that's the way this works.
01:00:27.000 If you're a right-wing celebrity and you have the wrong politics and you say, hoo-hoo, everybody notices you're crazy.
01:00:32.000 If you're a left-wing celebrity and you're crazy, but you say the right things, that is a shield and a sword for all of your nuttiness forevermore.
01:00:38.000 Alrighty, guys.
01:00:39.000 The rest of the show continues right now.
01:00:40.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
01:00:41.000 We'll be speaking with the head of Preborn Trying to Save Babies, Dan Steiner.
