00:02:59.000 Joining us now is Scott.
00:03:01.000 Scott, how are we doing?
00:03:03.000 And thank you for being a member.
00:03:05.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:03:06.000 Thank you.
00:03:07.000 Got great respect for you and Turning Point.
00:03:09.000 And just, it's really changing our Everything about the party and MAGA. And there's a lot of work that needs to be done in Idaho.
00:03:16.000 So I just say that, you know, the lives of my youngest daughter and son will never be the same.
00:03:21.000 You can hear the emotion in my voice a little bit after the tyrannical COVID lockdowns.
00:03:27.000 And this means that I will do whatever it takes to ensure our red state Republican senators in Idaho confirm President Trump's cabinet nominees.
00:03:35.000 We have to hold those accountable for the suffering, and we have to stop them from sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine.
00:03:41.000 So I really would like to know, what is your strategy for Idaho?
00:03:45.000 You know, when are you coming to Idaho, and how can I help?
00:03:48.000 Well, first of all, I just love that.
00:03:50.000 I love Idaho.
00:03:51.000 And I want to say, number one, Rish is up in this cycle.
00:03:57.000 And so let me just ask you as an Idahoan, what do you think of Rish?
00:04:00.000 Does he work the state a lot?
00:04:02.000 Is he well-liked?
00:04:03.000 Is it somebody that you think is really in touch with the people of Idaho?
00:04:08.000 Tell me, just as an Idahoan.
00:04:10.000 So I've met him personally in some of the government affairs work I've done.
00:04:14.000 And just by saying this, in Idaho, I'm now on a blacklist because nobody wants to go up against these red state rhinos who've been in the Senate so long.
00:04:22.000 He is arrogant.
00:04:23.000 I like you.
00:04:23.000 He's out of touch.
00:04:24.000 You go in for a meeting with him in his office.
00:04:27.000 He doesn't really ask you for anything.
00:04:28.000 He takes you to an adjoining office with a background of a Capitol photo.
00:04:32.000 And he says, oh, here, we'll take a photo.
00:04:35.000 He shakes your hand and then he leaves.
00:04:37.000 And I really believe That with your support, we could primary him.
00:04:41.000 I mean, you've got a congressman here, Russ Fulcher, who's in the Freedom Caucus.
00:04:45.000 He's 62 years old.
00:04:47.000 And he's somebody who could successfully take on Risch.
00:04:50.000 Was he in the U.S. Congress?
00:04:53.000 Sorry?
00:04:54.000 Yeah.
00:04:54.000 He's in Congress right now, Russ Fulcher.
00:04:57.000 As far as I know, yeah.
00:04:58.000 He's not in my district, yeah.
00:04:59.000 Yeah.
00:05:00.000 Freedom Caucus member.
00:05:01.000 He's someone that—oh, yeah, yeah.
00:05:02.000 I know him.
00:05:03.000 Yeah, we're looking closely at him.
00:05:05.000 He'd be a huge upgrade.
00:05:07.000 So, yeah, so what are our plans are?
00:05:09.000 Look, very similar to Cassidy in Louisiana and Mike Rounds in South Dakota— If there is not abrupt changes from these sitting Republicans, and if they keep on sending money to Ukraine while we're being invaded on the southern border in these deep red states, and I hope you understand, I hope everyone in the audience understands, and Scott, you do too, these are for deep, deep red states.
00:05:29.000 We're not doing this in Maine.
00:05:30.000 We're not doing this where we might lose a Senate seat.
00:05:33.000 Idaho is comfortably red, okay?
00:05:35.000 It is comfortably red, and you have someone like Russ Fulcher who would be a game-changer.
00:05:41.000 Scott, do you think that the Republican primary voters in Idaho would be welcome to such a primary challenge?
00:05:48.000 100%.
00:05:48.000 And let me share two ideas with you that are very important, and you're very pragmatic, which is another reason I enjoy listening to your show, is that you've talked about the big blue cities.
00:05:58.000 We must go beyond Boise.
00:06:01.000 Their real voters are the rural voters.
00:06:04.000 People in the rural areas distrust Boise.
00:06:07.000 We have to engage them.
00:06:08.000 Idaho State University, I don't know if you've been there yet, but that's in eastern Idaho.
00:06:13.000 Without an event there, I really believe that the rural voters will feel alienated.
00:06:17.000 What was the school again, you said?
00:06:19.000 Idaho State University.
00:06:20.000 It's in Pocatello, Idaho.
00:06:21.000 Yeah, I have been there.
00:06:23.000 Yeah, Pocatello.
00:06:24.000 I have been there, actually, many, many years ago.
00:06:27.000 Yeah.
00:06:28.000 We have to engage these rural voters.
00:06:31.000 You know, take two days to come to Idaho.
00:06:33.000 The other important point is don't forget the Mormons.
00:06:36.000 Over 20% of Idaho residents are Mormon.
00:06:40.000 Senator Crapo is Mormon.
00:06:41.000 So let me mention this.
00:06:42.000 Just an hour away from Idaho State University is BYU-Idaho.
00:06:46.000 If you have an event there, you will demand Senator Crapo's attention.
00:06:51.000 You will get the Mormon's attention.
00:06:53.000 Just that alone will change everything.
00:06:55.000 So to answer your question, we are going to be doing some campus events.
00:06:58.000 We might do an event, depending on the behavior of Crapo and Rish and their posture towards President Trump's nominees, in January.
00:07:06.000 We might end up doing a Give Trump His Cabinet event, but we need to pick our...
00:07:09.000 We're definitely going to Louisiana with Mr. Cassidy for that little tour.
00:07:15.000 We're going to test the waters here.
00:07:16.000 But look, if you voted to give money to Ukraine and turn the back on the necessary Will of the voters?
00:07:26.000 We're not going to allow that to happen.
00:07:29.000 So you're very well spoken, Scott.
00:07:31.000 I want our team...
00:07:32.000 Please, please, one last thought.
00:07:34.000 You had Mark Halperin on earlier.
00:07:36.000 He asked me a question on his two-way platform about a week ago.
00:07:41.000 It was very important, his response.
00:07:43.000 So I've been to Russia 50 times.
00:07:45.000 I worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction Development in London.
00:07:48.000 Let me tell you, that is the deepest state of all.
00:07:51.000 We have to get rid of those.
00:07:52.000 And what I talked about, Mark, was, and I said, Mark, presumption of grace, you know, there are people who understand that Russia is not a threat to the United States.
00:08:01.000 And for the first time I heard a mainstream reporter say, you know what, I know very smart people on both sides of the aisle that understand that Russia isn't a threat.
00:08:10.000 So I just wanted to throw that in there.
00:08:12.000 I mean, I will do whatever I can to help you in Idaho.
00:08:14.000 I will leave my job right now.
00:08:16.000 I just would love to be part of your team in Idaho.
00:08:19.000 I think I've got some good ideas.
00:08:20.000 So please keep that in mind.
00:08:21.000 I love it.
00:08:22.000 Daisy's gonna get me your contact information.
00:08:25.000 I want to pick your brain.
00:08:26.000 I also...
00:08:27.000 Maybe you can help me get to Russ Fulcher.
00:08:29.000 I'm sure I can get that done.
00:08:31.000 But we want to get this organized.
00:08:32.000 And look, we have to be reasonable.
00:08:34.000 We are not here as bomb throwers.
00:08:35.000 We're not bombastic.
00:08:36.000 We're not here to start inter-party fights unnecessarily.
00:08:39.000 But if you are not representing the will of the voters and you come from a deep red state, you will be removed from your Senate seat.
00:08:47.000 Okay?
00:08:48.000 Thank you so much.
00:08:49.000 Really appreciate it.
00:08:50.000 Thank you.
00:08:51.000 Excellent.
00:08:51.000 Excellent member call.
00:08:52.000 What a way to start.
00:08:53.000 Very good.
00:08:54.000 Julie, thank you for being a member.
00:08:56.000 Where are you from and what's on your mind?
00:08:57.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:08:58.000 I'm from Texas.
00:08:59.000 I'm in the Fort Worth area, which turned back to red, which is amazing.
00:09:05.000 Love it.
00:09:07.000 We barely escaped it out last time and turned a little bit blue, but not in our rural areas, again, just like most people.
00:09:17.000 My question is about the Surgeon General pick and Pam Bogby.
00:09:23.000 Do you think that they're Previous stances are valid with Bondi being the red flag law and the Surgeon General with COVID and all of the lockdowns.
00:09:39.000 That's a good question.
00:09:40.000 I don't know how to answer that.
00:09:42.000 You're never going to get everything you want in a candidate.
00:09:45.000 I'm going to let Pam Bondi answer that for herself.
00:09:47.000 I'm against red flag laws, but just Pam Bondi has Phenomenal upside.
00:09:52.000 She's a terrific person.
00:09:53.000 She's tough.
00:09:54.000 She'd have to answer for that.
00:09:54.000 She's smart.
00:09:56.000 I don't know the details of it, but if she is in favor of Red Flag laws, I'm not.
00:09:59.000 And so that would just be one of those instances where we don't align on everything, and that's okay because she's great on lawfare.
00:10:06.000 She's great on so many different things.
00:10:08.000 And then as far as the Surgeon General pick, I'm on a different planet of a worldview than her, but that's the president's decision, and...
00:10:15.000 We will allow the president to choose his cabinet as he sees fit, but do not see the world the way she does, that's for sure.
00:10:23.000 Thank you, Julie.
00:10:24.000 Really appreciate it.
00:10:26.000 William is next.
00:10:27.000 William, thank you for being a member.
00:10:28.000 What's on your mind?
00:10:29.000 Hi.
00:10:30.000 I wanted to know what you know about monetary reform in terms of...
00:10:39.000 Using monetary reform for reducing the debt.
00:10:42.000 So such as returning to the gold standard or special drawing rights?
00:10:47.000 Is that what you're talking about?
00:10:48.000 No.
00:10:49.000 Actually, Bill Still of the Still Report has been in the movement for about 30 years, and he's done a number of documentaries, and he has a plan to use U.S. notes instead of Federal Reserve notes for reducing the national debt.
00:11:08.000 And this is something that Abraham Lincoln actually did for paying the Civil War instead of taking on new debt.
00:11:17.000 What happens when the power is out, your phone says no service, and the grid is down?
00:11:21.000 Do you have a backup plan?
00:11:22.000 If you don't have a satellite phone from sat123.com, you're risking more than just missed calls.
00:11:28.000 A satellite phone from sat123.com keeps you connected no matter what.
00:11:32.000 You can be miles from civilization or in the middle of a natural disaster, this phone works when everything else fails.
00:11:38.000 It's your lifeline when the world goes dark, and let's be real, these days anything can happen.
00:11:42.000 But with Sat123.com, you're prepared.
00:11:45.000 Sat123 is committed to American values.
00:11:47.000 They believe in reliability and quality that you can trust when it matters most.
00:11:51.000 Don't wait until it's too late.
00:11:53.000 Head on over to Sat123.com.
00:11:55.000 That is Sat123.com.
00:11:57.000 Use promo code Charlie for $25 off.
00:11:58.000 Protect yourself, protect your family, and stay connected with Sat123.com.
00:12:05.000 Blake, do you want to respond to this specific question here from one of our members about monetary reform?
00:12:11.000 Do we still have – can you repeat what it was?
00:12:15.000 Sure.
00:12:16.000 Yeah, just synthesize it, please.
00:12:18.000 So the issue is the Federal Reserve was formed in 1913, correct?
00:12:24.000 It was formed by an act of Congress, and they actually – We're delegated the ability to issue our currency as Federal Reserve notes.
00:12:35.000 Now, back in the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln used what is called U.S. notes or greenbacks to pay for the Civil War without having to go to the banks to borrow money.
00:12:49.000 So the idea is that as a sovereign country, We should be able to issue our own currency without having to borrow it and increase the national debt.
00:13:03.000 The currency should be managed by Congress and the U.S. Treasury.
00:13:09.000 So what you're saying is eliminate the Federal Reserve and give control of the currency directly from the U.S. Treasury and Congress.
00:13:16.000 Is that essentially what you're saying?
00:13:18.000 Yes.
00:13:19.000 But does that do anything to wipe out the debt that currently exists?
00:13:25.000 What would happen is this is Bill Steele's plan of the stillreport.com.
00:13:31.000 He's actually done three documentaries on it.
00:13:34.000 One is The Money Masters, the other is The Secret of Oz, and the other is Jekyll Island.
00:13:40.000 And the plan is that you would use these U.S. notes to pay off the bonds as they become due because a good portion of our bonds are short-term notes thanks to Janet Yellen and instead of paying them off by incurring new debt you instead would pay off the notes pay off the bonds with
00:14:11.000 these US notes which would look very similar to To Federal Reserve notes, except it says US notes at the top, and it has a red seal on the currency instead of a green seal.
00:14:28.000 And it's issued by Congress rather than borrowed into existence.
00:14:34.000 Because right now, banks can just create money out of thin air.
00:14:39.000 Private banks, that's how money is generally created.
00:14:44.000 And...
00:14:45.000 What Bill Still is saying is that we should, as a sovereign country, we should be issuing our own currency as we need to, as we need it, without relying on central banks.
00:14:58.000 Got it.
00:14:58.000 Private central banks.
00:14:59.000 That is fascinating.
00:15:01.000 Blake and I will do our homework, and we will check out Mr. Still.
00:15:05.000 So thank you.
00:15:06.000 Really appreciate that.
00:15:07.000 Thank you.
00:15:09.000 Thomas, thank you for being a member.
00:15:11.000 What is on your mind?
00:15:12.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:15:14.000 I was wondering, as an 18-year-old from New Jersey, what I can do to help with the upcoming governor election.
00:15:20.000 That is a good question.
00:15:22.000 We've got to be thinking about that, Charlie.
00:15:25.000 It's been a month.
00:15:26.000 I can't have a month off.
00:15:28.000 So can you educate us, Thomas?
00:15:33.000 When is the governor's race?
00:15:35.000 What is going on with that?
00:15:38.000 I think it's coming up this November, right?
00:15:41.000 Yeah, so we have three primary candidates, Cittarelli, Spadia, and some other guy, but I'm for Spadia.
00:15:52.000 So, Cittarelli said he's non-supported Trump or whatever.
00:15:57.000 Got it.
00:15:58.000 So these off-election years can be very important.
00:16:01.000 The Democrats have this Politico article, six rockstar Democrats that could be the next governor of New Jersey.
00:16:08.000 And it's as nauseating as you could imagine.
00:16:11.000 But look, as far as To get involved, honestly, if you're 18, go straight up to their campaign headquarters to the candidate you like and say, I want to volunteer.
00:16:18.000 I'm going to go knock on doors.
00:16:19.000 I'll make phone calls.
00:16:20.000 I'll do whatever you ask.
00:16:21.000 And from there, you can start to cut your teeth in politics.
00:16:24.000 Look, New Jersey does remain a blue-loving state with not over 900,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans.
00:16:30.000 But no one here is ruling out a Republican victory.
00:16:32.000 It can happen.
00:16:33.000 It was very, very close, if you might remember, with Phil Murphy back in 2021. Like, really, really close.
00:16:39.000 Like, closer than people could have ever possibly have imagined.
00:16:42.000 So, get engaged, get involved.
00:16:44.000 I also know that Scott Pressler is going to be working in the great state of New Jersey.
00:16:48.000 The Garden State, is what they call it.
00:16:50.000 This is for all of you that are members, members.charliekirk.com.
00:16:53.000 You get the opportunity to ask us questions weekly.
00:16:55.000 Miss Daisy must be very happy.
00:16:57.000 We've been better about this every week.
00:16:58.000 We've been really, it's back to normal operating order.
00:17:01.000 We're getting closer.
00:17:04.000 By the way, you know all members at AmFest get to come and listen to the most amazing interviews, dialogues, discourses, only members, members.charliekirk.com.
00:17:14.000 We have a members lounge this year.
00:17:16.000 It is going to be amazing.
00:17:18.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:17:20.000 Manny, thank you so much for being a member.
00:17:23.000 What's on your mind?
00:17:25.000 Yeah, I just wanted to bring up an idea that's been twirling around in my head.
00:17:31.000 And I was thinking, how could we get rid of porn?
00:17:34.000 It's such a bad...
00:17:35.000 Not get rid of it, because you can never get rid of something like that.
00:17:39.000 But maybe we can do a fight like what the Surgeon General did with cigarettes, right?
00:17:45.000 Where they put, hey, smoking cigarettes could be damaging for your health and all that stuff.
00:17:52.000 Maybe have a Surgeon General warning.
00:17:54.000 In front of all porn videos that say, you know, watching porn could be detrimental to your health, to your mental health, to your brain health.
00:18:03.000 Addiction could lead to certain problems.
00:18:05.000 I know that, you know, it could be a long shot, but I know that all you guys up there at the Charlie Kirk Show pedal influence pretty, pretty well.
00:18:13.000 And I thought, hey, might as well shout this idea to you and see what you thought.
00:18:18.000 It's a great idea.
00:18:19.000 That's actually a fascinating idea I haven't thought about, because I think, and Blake is here, can the Surgeon General do that unilaterally, or does that take an act of Congress, Blake?
00:18:27.000 I mean, that's a very interesting question, isn't it?
00:18:29.000 Yeah, I would not know off the top of my head.
00:18:31.000 I feel like the Surgeon General's role is primarily advisory-based, but I guess I don't know how they originally put that on tobacco for a reason.
00:18:41.000 No, no, but I mean, there are Surgeon General warnings on certain products.
00:18:46.000 So look that up.
00:18:47.000 Very smart point.
00:18:48.000 Look, as far as the number one thing that we can do and that we should do is that we should have robust age verification.
00:18:55.000 Now, I can't remember the status of this because Texas required age verification and then Pornhub canceled all of their services in Texas.
00:19:04.000 Is that right?
00:19:06.000 Yeah.
00:19:06.000 And then they also did that in Utah.
00:19:07.000 Is that ongoing?
00:19:08.000 Yeah.
00:19:09.000 There's ongoing stuff.
00:19:10.000 I don't know the case of that legal case.
00:19:11.000 I just wanted to throw out a very interesting idea I remember hearing from a friend of mine.
00:19:17.000 We might have even talked about this.
00:19:19.000 It might have actually been a right-wing revolution now that I think about it.
00:19:22.000 Imagine if you required them to charge for it.
00:19:26.000 It could even be one penny.
00:19:28.000 But you have to charge, which means it has to go on a credit card that you own.
00:19:32.000 And that by itself just massively increases the hurdle, I think, for a lot of people towards using that product.
00:19:41.000 And so there's so many different things you could do.
00:19:44.000 I don't know specifically on whether the Surgeon General could just order it, because I think, at least in California, I know they have that requirement where they have all these warnings for cancer.
00:19:53.000 I think they need to offer that.
00:19:55.000 Somebody recently gave me, and they're very nice, the sunglasses that Facebook has, Meta.
00:20:01.000 They're the Meta Ray-Bans.
00:20:04.000 And on the back of the Meta Ray-Ban container is a California general warning saying that these might give you cancer.
00:20:13.000 And it's like pretty big, actually.
00:20:15.000 It's like pretty big.
00:20:16.000 It says state of California law requires that you know that these glasses might give you cancer.
00:20:22.000 I don't know if I want to wear these anymore.
00:20:24.000 Anyway, so to get back to our member friend here, great question.
00:20:30.000 And Marshall, I'm sorry, no.
00:20:33.000 Manny, sorry.
00:20:33.000 Manny.
00:20:34.000 Manny Marshall.
00:20:35.000 I got two names here.
00:20:36.000 Manny, age verification is the fight.
00:20:38.000 That is the fight, is that we must, you do not have a constitutional right if you're 15 or 16 years old To watch pornography.
00:20:46.000 I'm sorry.
00:20:46.000 That's just ridiculous.
00:20:47.000 There should be robust age protections and we could proceed from there.
00:20:50.000 But I think a much more open public health discussion about how pornography is bad for the health of a nation is 100% legitimate.
00:21:00.000 Now, I do cringe a little bit, though, at some public health discussions because they're going to use this to ban firearms.
00:21:07.000 I'm telling you, Blake will agree that they've already started to say that firearm deaths are a public health emergency.
00:21:13.000 Um, Which is ridiculous.
00:21:15.000 And so you have to be a little careful as far as how it could be extrapolated to other policy measures.
00:21:21.000 But pornography is poison to our society and culture.
00:21:25.000 I'm not for overall banning things.
00:21:27.000 I don't like a heavy hand of government if it's not totally necessary.
00:21:30.000 So I think an immediate step is robust age verification.
00:21:34.000 All right.
00:21:35.000 Thank you so much.
00:21:38.000 Folks, your halls are decked with holly and the sound of Andy Williams on the radio tells us to be of good cheer.
00:21:44.000 But often, the joy of the season is lost in the hustle and bustle.
00:21:49.000 That's why my friends at Hillsdale College produced a free online course on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Miracle.
00:21:55.000 You're likely familiar with the story of old miser Ebenezer Scrooge and his three ghostly visitors.
00:22:01.000 Scrooge famously refuses to be charitable in order to decrease the surplus population.
00:22:06.000 But there's more to Scrooge, which is why we cheer for him year after year.
00:22:10.000 In this free online course, you'll learn how Scrooge's frightening and enlightening encounters reveal the joy of Christmas.

00:22:39.000 Now we have Marshall.
00:22:41.000 That was Manny, as you can see why I got my wires crossed.
00:22:44.000 Marshall, thank you for being a member.
00:22:45.000 What's on your mind?
00:22:46.000 Yes, I'm from Oregon.
00:22:48.000 Go Ducks!
00:22:49.000 Go Ducks!
00:22:50.000 Yes, sir!
00:22:51.000 I like you already.
00:22:53.000 My wife and I will be at AmFest next week for our first time.
00:22:58.000 Not Phoenix, but AmFest.
00:22:59.000 Come find me and where are Ducks at?
00:22:59.000 Amazing.
00:23:02.000 Come find me.
00:23:03.000 Okay.
00:23:03.000 Is there any breakout session to assist blue states like Oregon to organize and act or do similar that you did in swing states?
00:23:14.000 Or do you have future plans to help us blue states turn red?
00:23:19.000 Because I think Oregon was the trial balloon for mail-in ballots.
00:23:26.000 And ever since we've had mail-in ballots, no Republican...
00:23:31.000 Major or major player in Oregon has been a Republican.
00:23:37.000 We always miss by just enough.
00:23:40.000 Somehow that always just finds a bucket of ballots in a trunk or something.
00:23:46.000 So first of all, I'm thrilled you're coming, truly.
00:23:49.000 You're going to love it.
00:23:50.000 And as a member, you get really exclusive benefits because you're coming.
00:23:55.000 I don't know if you know that.
00:23:56.000 I mentioned earlier, exclusive live interviews, members lounge, preferential seating.
00:24:00.000 You guys get great, great benefits.
00:24:03.000 So I just I'm thrilled you're coming because as a member, AmFest is way better as a member and it's good as it is.
00:24:08.000 So as far as the breakout sessions, let me just read some of these to you.
00:24:11.000 Some might apply to you.
00:24:13.000 We have faith in action, faith in America.
00:24:15.000 We have a deep dive into the 2024 election results.
00:24:17.000 The mom vote, securing America's future.
00:24:20.000 Gen Z, the great American tomorrow.
00:24:22.000 We have the story of how we left the left from people that we form on the left.
00:24:27.000 Blue collar conservatism.
00:24:29.000 We have We Are the Media, Dismantling DEI, Chasing America's Catholics.
00:24:33.000 This one that might actually apply to you, Voter Registration Across America.
00:24:36.000 We have Vamos, Chasing the American Latino Vote.
00:24:40.000 We have Deep State Arabella by Tyler Boyer.
00:24:43.000 We have the King's Council, Faith, Law and Policy Legal Impact under the Trump administration.
00:24:48.000 We also have one with Turning Point Academy.
00:24:50.000 So I don't know if any of those speak to you directly, but breakouts are a huge part of AmFest.
00:24:54.000 The voter registration one in particular I think might be helpful.
00:24:57.000 And also just diagnosing and dissecting the 2024 results.
00:25:01.000 Super thrilled you're coming, Marshall.
00:25:03.000 Come find me.
00:25:04.000 Wear your ducks hat.
00:25:05.000 And my current schedule is that if Oregon makes the Cotton Bowl, we're going to probably go to the Cotton Bowl.
00:25:11.000 Blake is just cringing.
00:25:13.000 Can I get a live shot of Blake right now rolling his eyes?
00:25:15.000 I can feel it from Phoenix.
00:25:17.000 This is Blake.
00:25:21.000 It's so confusing.
00:25:22.000 Oregon's in the Rose Bowl.
00:25:24.000 I will not be going to that.
00:25:25.000 If Oregon makes the Cotton Bowl, I will be going to that.
00:25:27.000 And if Oregon makes the National Championship game...
00:25:30.000 Don't go to the national title game.
00:25:32.000 This is the debate.
00:25:34.000 This is the big debate happening, Blake.
00:25:36.000 Do I stay in D.C. for the night of the inauguration, or do I go to the national title game?
00:25:44.000 That's the debate.
00:25:45.000 Go see them.
00:25:46.000 Go see them.
00:25:47.000 There will be other inaugurations.
00:25:49.000 There may never be another...
00:25:50.000 There may never be a college football title game that feels real.
00:25:53.000 It'll just be semi-pro football.
00:25:57.000 You're joking, but like, it's not a joke of how seriously we take Ducks football.
00:26:04.000 Okay, Kars, thank you for being a member.
00:26:06.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:26:07.000 Yes, how are you?
00:26:08.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:26:09.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:26:09.000 What's up?
00:26:10.000 How are you doing?
00:26:11.000 Good.
00:26:11.000 How are you?
00:26:13.000 I'm doing great.
00:26:14.000 It's a beautiful day.
00:26:14.000 Can't complain.
00:26:15.000 So my question was, being a Christian, straight, white male and a Republican, conservative, whatever you want to say, it seems like it's getting harder and harder to actually, like, land a job in the United States.
00:26:32.000 And that's not just happening in California.
00:26:34.000 I feel like that's happening in the majority of the US. So I was wondering, what can we do, if anything, you know, push back against this and make it so, you know, Being a Christian or being a Republican isn't negative in searching for a job.
00:26:48.000 So first of all, I think that it is changing, but it's not there yet.
00:26:52.000 If you really want to find a good job where that is not the case, I'm going to give you some advice that I'm sure you've thought of that you're not going to love.
00:26:59.000 You need to leave the state of California.
00:27:02.000 The state of California is really a diseased place as far as where this wokeism, this DEI is.
00:27:10.000 Blake, what thoughts do you have on this regime when it comes to corporate practices in particular?
00:27:15.000 Man, I don't...
00:27:17.000 I guess I feel that you're putting me on the spot on these economic questions, and I don't work as an economist, so I always am afraid of sounding like a complete idiot.
00:27:25.000 But you know corporate culture pretty well.
00:27:27.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:27:30.000 The regime and corporate culture, it is amazing because what we've seen over time is so much of a fusion of the left's values in government and then the left's values in the corporate world, and there's so much more overlap between them.
00:27:45.000 And you meet so many people who are fossilized in amber and they think of jokes from the 1960s where it's like, oh, people in business are Republicans.
00:27:56.000 And you still run into this with the Chamber of Commerce stuff where they just think, oh, people who are in business must be conservative Republicans.
00:28:03.000 And the answer to that very often is no.
00:28:05.000 And we have a lot of cultural issues to overcome in the corporate world.
00:28:10.000 And we're only just seeing the beginnings of that with what was unleashed by Elon Musk, what was unleashed with so many other forces.
00:28:19.000 And it's like we have to almost reclaim government so that we can show that it is safe to change how private enterprise operates.
00:28:26.000 And that's the exact opposite of how conservatives in the past would have usually thought of it.
00:28:32.000 Okay.
00:28:33.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:28:34.000 Really appreciate it.
00:28:35.000 And I hate telling people to leave California because it's gorgeous, but you might have to.
00:28:39.000 Cody, thank you for being a member at members.charliekirk.com.
00:28:43.000 Where are you from, Cody, and what's on your mind?
00:28:45.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:28:45.000 I am from the great state of Arkansas.
00:28:51.000 I've been a supporter of you for a while, so it's exciting talking with you.
00:28:55.000 Thank you.
00:28:56.000 As you know, Senator Cotton, Bozeman are my representatives for Arkansas.
00:29:03.000 Starting out, I was a huge Cotton supporter.
00:29:07.000 I had a lot of faith in him.
00:29:10.000 Since then, he's voted what I feel like is against Make America Great Again.
00:29:20.000 I've just, I have tried contacting him and Bozeman, and at first they would respond, now they quit responding to me.
00:29:31.000 But there's just been numerous things that I've had a problem with them, and I just want to know, how do you feel about Senator Cotton, and Bozeman for that matter, at this point, where we're at right now?
00:29:44.000 So let's start on Cotton.
00:29:45.000 So let me start with the disagreement, then I'll get to the agreement, because there's a lot of good with Cotton.
00:29:51.000 I'm on different worldview planets with Senator Cotton on foreign policy.
00:29:56.000 He is a neoconservative.
00:29:57.000 There's just no other way to put it.
00:30:01.000 He has learned better than a lot of neocon Republicans.
00:30:04.000 He could have been even more aggressive like Lindsey Graham, but he is definitely a neoconservative.
00:30:08.000 And that is not a pejorative.
00:30:09.000 That is not an insult.
00:30:11.000 That is an accurate description.
00:30:12.000 However, I would say this, Cody.
00:30:14.000 Tom Cotton is excellent on immigration, and he's excellent on crime.
00:30:18.000 Those are two things he's very, very good on.
00:30:21.000 Remember, he was the one that was publicly encouraging President Trump to use the Insurrection Act against all the Floyd riots in 2020, something President Trump probably actually should have done.
00:30:30.000 He wrote the op-ed in the New York Times, and it started all this backlash.
00:30:34.000 So Tom Cotton, his stances on Russia, Ukraine, and other conflicts, I just I don't share them at all.
00:30:42.000 However, domestically, he's been very, very good on immigration and crime.
00:30:45.000 I can't say that about Bozeman.
00:30:47.000 I've never met him.
00:30:49.000 I have no relationship with him.
00:30:50.000 He is also a neocon, but he does not under any voting pattern record or public commentary strike me as somebody who's quote unquote good on any issue.
00:30:58.000 So Tom Cotton, I think we're just not going to have the same views on America first or on foreign policy, but definitely very strong.
00:31:07.000 And I will say this, Senator Cotton always texts me back.
00:31:10.000 He's always very polite, very open to feedback, open to disagreements, whereas Bozeman never met him.
00:31:17.000 Thank you, Cody.
00:31:18.000 Merry Christmas.
00:31:18.000 Thanks for your support.
00:31:20.000 Thank you.
00:31:21.000 Let's do this.
00:31:22.000 Jason says, Charlie, what are your plans for Christmas?
00:31:24.000 God bless America.
00:31:24.000 I love Christmas.
00:31:25.000 We are taking on the show off the 24th, the 25th, and the 26th.
00:31:29.000 We are off for three days straight.
00:31:30.000 The team also deserves that.
00:31:33.000 My plan is just to be with my kids and our family and chill out a little bit, which is going to be really fun to do and definitely a fun year to recap.
00:31:42.000 Tim says, as our final question here, Charlie, I remember listening to the great Rush Limbaugh.
00:31:47.000 Wanted to hear some specific things for us to do to open elections.
00:31:50.000 Happily, now you've done that.
00:31:52.000 Please continue to rally us and provide direction to continue this conservative movement in future elections.
00:31:58.000 Yeah, look, I mean, Rush was Rush.
00:32:00.000 He is the legend.
00:32:00.000 He is the greatest.
00:32:01.000 He's the George Washington.
00:32:03.000 No one will ever come close to him.
