00:01:24.000 We absolutely need Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby Kennedy.
00:01:27.000 It is mission critical.
00:01:28.000 Top priority of this program.
00:01:30.000 Top priority of Turning Point Action.
00:01:32.000 Tulsi is one of the greatest people I've ever had a chance to know.
00:01:35.000 And joining us now is a dear friend of Tulsi Gabbard, Meghan McCain.
00:01:39.000 Meghan, great to see you.
00:01:40.000 Meghan, you and I have been on different sides of certain issues during the Trump era, but we're on 100% agreement on Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby Kennedy.
00:01:49.000 So great to have you here, and I've really enjoyed your commentary in support of both.
00:01:54.000 Please walk us through your friendship with Tulsi Gabbard and why you believe Tulsi should be confirmed as DNI director.
00:02:00.000 Well, first of all, thank you for giving me the opportunity to come on and speak with you today, Charlie.
00:02:04.000 It's really a pleasure.
00:02:06.000 I've known Tulsi a really long time.
00:02:07.000 I was even trying to remember how long.
00:02:09.000 I think it's like eight years at this point.
00:02:10.000 And we became friends through Van Jones, of all people, who said that we were a lot alike and he wanted us to become friends.
00:02:17.000 And we just had this lunch one day in New York after she came on The View and we closed the restaurant down and we're crying and we're bonding over different things.
00:02:26.000 And we've just maintained a really close friendship for years now.
00:02:29.000 She's the godmother to my eldest daughter, and she is one of the greatest patriots, humans.
00:02:35.000 She's the bravest, most talented woman I've ever met.
00:02:39.000 It's a privilege to be her friend.
00:02:40.000 I don't talk to her that way, though.
00:02:42.000 We're like normal friends.
00:02:43.000 I don't tell her this all the time, but she really loves America and she loves God.
00:02:49.000 And the national security of this country is something she takes to heart with her every single night.
00:02:54.000 It's like a burden she takes with her.
00:02:56.000 And I just think we are so lucky as Americans to have her put in this position.
00:03:01.000 And quite frankly, I'm horrified that she's having any trouble at all.
00:03:04.000 I'm horrified that there are senators like Young and Lankford that are hesitating in any way.
00:03:08.000 I think it's despicable.
00:03:10.000 She's a combat veteran.
00:03:11.000 She's more accomplished, in my opinion, than anyone who's being put up in this segment of cabinet members.
00:03:16.000 I'm a fan of RFKs and I like Kash Patel as well.
00:03:19.000 This is not to denigrate them, but she is highly qualified and it is imperative to this country and to the administration that she gets over the line.
00:03:27.000 I totally agree with you.
00:03:29.000 And so just the objections that some of these senators are raising.
00:03:34.000 Are so weak.
00:03:35.000 And I've spent a lot of time over the weekend trying to contact some of their senators or friends of them.
00:03:39.000 So, okay, well, what is the issue here?
00:03:41.000 And you're not allowed to use Russian agent because that's BS. It's completely nonsensical.
00:03:46.000 And it's as if they, it's just like weaponized semantics.
00:03:51.000 I mean, what is it?
00:03:52.000 Because she has a totally clean FBI background check, like Sterling.
00:03:55.000 She currently has a security clearance.
00:03:57.000 She served her country and continues to serve her country.
00:04:01.000 All of these kind of talking points against her are just nonsensical.
00:04:05.000 What is their contention and your message to those Republican senators that seem to be putting up an unnecessary fight?
00:04:14.000 Look, I'm not traditionally MAGA, as you know, even though I'm really happy with this moment.
00:04:18.000 I was telling your producer, it's like a time of new hope for, I think, all Republicans.
00:04:22.000 And I'm really, quite frankly, enjoying the cultural shift towards the right.
00:04:26.000 I don't understand because I know that Senator Langford and Senator Young come from states that are basically 100% MAGA. I think all counties in Oklahoma went for Trump.
00:04:36.000 I didn't understand their line of questioning other than I think there's been a lot of really disgusting and abhorrent propaganda against.
00:04:44.000 A current member of the military has put her life on the line multiple times for our freedom.
00:04:49.000 I think there's been a lot of slander, sadly, from people like Hillary Clinton and Barry Weiss on Joe Rogan that took on a life of its own and, quite frankly, wasn't squandered enough.
00:04:58.000 I know her so well.
00:05:00.000 And again, I'm someone like, my dad couldn't legally travel to Russia because we were sanctioned.
00:05:04.000 Do you think I would be friends with someone who was compromised by Russia?
00:05:07.000 It's absurdity.
00:05:08.000 And I just find it disgusting left wing propaganda that for some reason there are some Republicans that have bought into.
00:05:14.000 But I would I just want to tell you, Mr. Kirk, today, if anyone votes against her, I promise you, I will do anything in my power to make sure there are consequences for this or RFK for that matter.
00:05:26.000 Because this is more, it's about more than just Tulsi and RFK. This is about the new coalition in the Republican Party, and particularly women and moms, who came out in droves.
00:05:35.000 A lot of first-time Trump voters who came out and voted because they wanted this, you know, squad of people.
00:05:41.000 They wanted the dream team, which includes RFK and Tulsi.
00:05:44.000 I will join you in launching primaries against these people.
00:06:10.000 It's so inexcusable.
00:06:12.000 There is no argument there.
00:06:14.000 I want you to dive deeper into this, Megan, because I was really taken by something you said on the Mark Halperin show that I totally agree, that there are millions, we don't know the number, but a significant portion of moms and women that are now Republican and voting Republican because of the Bobby Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, unity party.
00:06:33.000 When I speak to DC insiders, they think that's overrated, obviously, because they're high on their own supply.
00:06:39.000 I know it's not overrated.
00:06:41.000 I think it's actually one of the decisive ingredients to this new Republican governing majority.
00:06:46.000 Please speak more about this.
00:06:48.000 A lot of moms, and this is obviously anecdotal in my life, but every single woman in my life, except for like two, voted for Trump.
00:06:56.000 And some of them were not traditional Trump supporters.
00:06:58.000 And it was in no small part because of how radicalized they became during COVID with the lockdowns and the vaccines and all the things we already know.
00:07:05.000 And RFK and Tulsi gave them a new hope for the future in lots of different ways.
00:07:09.000 And also, you know, trans people in sports, like all the culture war things.
00:07:14.000 And I think that they gave a safe space to vote for Trump for people that were maybe on the edge or independent or had been Democrats in the past.
00:07:22.000 And I think when you look at people like Jessica Krause, who runs the incredible House and Habit Instagram account, there is a momentous wave of women in this country who are supporting RFK and Tulsi Gabbard and Trump as a result.
00:07:33.000 And I don't want to lose these people.
00:07:35.000 I don't want to lose the future.
00:07:36.000 We have to start also looking at elections four years from now, eight years from now.
00:07:41.000 I love this cultural moment right now.
00:07:43.000 I've never felt more validated.
00:07:44.000 I spent so many years of my life getting my you-know-what kicked because I was Republican.
00:07:49.000 And to see everything I said come true, I love this moment.
00:07:52.000 I don't want to lose it.
00:07:53.000 And RFK and Tulsi Gabbard are integral to making sure we don't lose these people.
00:07:57.000 And again, they don't have a Senate majority because of James Lankford, okay?
00:08:01.000 Let's be honest.
00:08:02.000 Millions of moms did not show up to go vote.
00:08:05.000 It was because of President Trump's...
00:08:08.000 Understanding and ability, and honestly, you deserve a lot of credit for giving them the highest possible promotions of Tulsi and Bobby Kennedy.
00:08:14.000 Let's talk about the Bobby Kennedy wrinkle for a second, because we have touched on Tulsi Gabbard.
00:08:19.000 He especially has put a health emphasis and a health focus on the Republican Party that moms are very conscientious of that otherwise was not an element.
00:08:29.000 You remember, Megan, like 10 or 15 years ago, that was a primarily Democrat kind of coalition.
00:08:35.000 Eating healthy, having more questions about the health care system.
00:08:40.000 Now it seems it has come to the conservative Republican Party.
00:08:43.000 It's not just politically advantageous, but it's also the morally right thing to do with our kids being so sick and so inexcusably drowning in chronic illness.
00:08:52.000 Bobby Kennedy represents a 10-15% boost, I think, for the Republican Party.
00:08:57.000 Please speak about that.
00:08:59.000 Look, I was just watching a video right before I came on here about this organic eggs that I personally buy that apparently is really bad for you.
00:09:06.000 And if you look at the subtext of the ingredients, they're not actually that organic.
00:09:10.000 I think I became much more acutely aware of all of this during COVID like everybody else because, you know, I have not given my children the COVID vaccine.
00:09:19.000 They are vaccinated with other vaccines, but I'm very fearful of the COVID vaccine.
00:09:25.000 And I started reading the way everybody else did about...
00:09:28.000 You know, different things and the long-term consequences.
00:09:31.000 And it just, I think, started opening up a lot of people's minds about how much the government lies to us.
00:09:35.000 And to me, it was like, there's a group of people who will lie forever, who will lock down our children to make sure that their mental health deteriorates to holy hell.
00:09:43.000 They do not care about moms.
00:09:45.000 They do not care about kids.
00:09:47.000 They do not care about their health.
00:09:48.000 I mean, why do we have so many foods in this country that are illegal here?
00:09:52.000 Skittles are banned in Europe.
00:09:53.000 Why?
00:09:54.000 Why am I allowed to have siddles here and not in Europe?
00:09:56.000 There's a coffee creamer that I use that's banned everywhere else but here.
00:09:59.000 I found that out.
00:10:00.000 Why isn't that here?
00:10:01.000 Why do I have to be doing this much homework?
00:10:02.000 And I think he's just showing a sign of new hope for those of us like, I'm genuinely worried about my children being poisoned by the food we're eating.
00:10:09.000 And I am far from the minority.
00:10:11.000 And again, one thing that I really took away because I sat with Tulsi at her hearing last week, or this week, excuse me, was that...
00:10:17.000 The senators really don't understand this movement.
00:10:19.000 That was my big takeaway, particularly from Senator Young and Senator Lankford, and then obviously the Democrats.
00:10:23.000 It's like, they obviously don't know any Maha moms.
00:10:26.000 They don't know this coalition of people, which is really, quite frankly, pathetic because it's such a huge swath of the American public.
00:10:33.000 But they need to understand if they blow this somehow.
00:10:38.000 There will be consequences to high health.
00:10:41.000 I think moms of America never underestimate what they can do when they are angry and pissed off.
00:10:45.000 I mean, my governor here in Virginia got elected because moms were told that they didn't have a right to send their kids to whatever school that they wanted.
00:10:52.000 And they had to have, you know, biological men sharing bathrooms with young women.
00:10:56.000 So I just...
00:10:58.000 They need to understand.
00:10:59.000 I don't know how to get people like Senator Langford and Senator Young to understand, but this isn't just about them.
00:11:04.000 It's about a mandate from the American people that President Trump is helping execute.
00:11:08.000 Well said.
00:11:09.000 Megan, thank you for your time.
00:11:11.000 I want everyone to check out the Citizen McCain podcast.
00:11:13.000 I believe that is the name.
00:11:15.000 And I could not be in more agreement that we need Tulsi and Bobby Kennedy for this big party governing coalition.
00:11:22.000 Megan, thank you so much.
00:11:23.000 Thank you for your time.
00:11:26.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here with New Year's Resolutions.

00:12:28.000 What is USAID? USAID is not a government agency that you'd be talking about very much.
00:12:37.000 It stands for the United States Agency for International Development.
00:12:42.000 You see, part of the whole idea of America First is examining the finances of our government and asking very simple fundamental questions.
00:12:49.000 Why are we spending money on this?
00:12:51.000 Is this a good idea?
00:12:54.000 Why are we doing this?
00:12:59.000 It is a grift.
00:13:02.000 The amount of money that we spend on USAID is shocking.
00:13:11.000 Shocking to most people.
00:13:14.000 We are talking about tens of billions of dollars, at least $50 billion that we know of.
00:13:20.000 And when you dive into some of the examination of the money, we're talking about funding Hit pieces on our own citizens.
00:13:29.000 Today there is some major and massive breaking news of President Trump fulfilling the mandate.
00:13:35.000 President Trump going all in with the help of Elon Musk and Marco Rubio.
00:13:39.000 Boom!
00:13:40.000 15,000 people being put on administrative leave.
00:13:45.000 Sorry, you can go work from home.
00:13:47.000 Now, that is the precursor to potentially being able to terminate them.
00:13:51.000 This is a deep state slush fund.
00:13:55.000 There was an entire division of USAID funding LGBTQIA plus programs in Asia.
00:14:03.000 Being gay in Asia is what your taxpayer dollars were funding.
00:14:07.000 And I got a brag out by someone in the administration right now.
00:14:09.000 Someone who's been a 10. Someone who's been a 10 is Marco Rubio.
00:14:14.000 Marco Rubio has been a 10 out of 10. I've known Marco for a while.
00:14:19.000 We really got to know each other the last six months.
00:14:21.000 He's come on the show, spent time with him, went to Greenland with his chief of staff, Mike Needham.
00:14:25.000 And Marco has been, boom, every day, new country.
00:14:28.000 Today, El Salvador.
00:14:30.000 Other day, Panama.
00:14:31.000 He's now the acting director of USAID. Now, you might think, oh, USAID, it helps all these countries.
00:14:37.000 It's a bunch of malarkey, BS, balderdash, rubbish.
00:14:41.000 You want to go help a country?
00:14:43.000 Go donate to Samaritan's Purse.
00:14:45.000 Go donate to private charities.
00:14:46.000 This is a deep state slush fund.
00:14:49.000 To make foreign tinpot dictators rich.
00:14:52.000 To make Zelensky and his oligarch friends be able to buy $100,000 of Hermes and Chanel purses.
00:15:04.000 This is nothing more than wire transfers to the worst, ugliest people on the planet.
00:15:10.000 Or to get us involved in foreign wars.
00:15:13.000 We do humanitarian aid.
00:15:15.000 To undermine foreign governments.
00:15:17.000 This is going at the heart of the matter of the globalist international empire.
00:15:23.000 And now 15,000 people are now put on administrative leave.
00:15:26.000 This is the new acting director of USAID, who's also your Secretary of State.
00:15:31.000 He's been a 10. Marco Rubio.
00:15:33.000 Play cut 45. Well, look, I mean, my frustration with USAID goes back to my time in Congress.
00:15:38.000 It's a completely unresponsive agency.
00:15:41.000 It's supposed to respond to policy directives of the State Department, and it refuses to do so.
00:15:47.000 So the functions of USAID, there are a lot of functions of USAID that are going to continue, that are going to be part of American foreign policy, but it has to be aligned with American foreign policy.
00:15:57.000 I said very clearly, during my confirmation hearing, that every dollar we spend and every program we fund, that will be aligned with the national interest of the United States.
00:16:07.000 Did you know that we created a fake Twitter knockoff to promote subversion in Cuba?
00:16:12.000 Should we overthrow the Cuba communists?
00:16:14.000 Maybe.
00:16:15.000 We shouldn't do it through a fake humanitarian aid organization that isn't accountable.
00:16:20.000 President Donald Trump is not just running on the idea of America first.
00:16:24.000 Why are we sending money all across the world on these little silly projects?
00:16:29.000 Cut it all off.
00:16:31.000 Re-examine it.
00:16:32.000 Does it help the country?
00:16:34.000 Does it help the homeland?
00:16:36.000 And USAID, oh, all the worst people in D.C. go and they'll have little meetings.
00:16:40.000 Can we do $30 million for gender mutilation in Senegal?
00:16:45.000 And then a lot of it gets rerouted back to friendly contractors and organizations that are part of the racket.
00:16:54.000 You have to wonder, has USAID been subsidizing color revolutions internationally?
00:16:58.000 Was USAID involved in the Maidan revolution, which led to Zelensky and then the Russian invasion of Ukraine?
00:17:05.000 Is USAID involved in all of the money in Afghanistan?
00:17:09.000 Yes.
00:17:10.000 Hundreds of billions of your taxpayer dollars sent in every little corner of the planet unnecessarily.
00:17:17.000 We have big hearts, and so no one ever wants to go after USAID, the United States Agency for International Development.
00:17:25.000 Here's an interesting question.
00:17:26.000 How many other countries send aid to America?
00:17:29.000 Because East Palestine could use some aid.
00:17:31.000 And Beverly Hills and the Palisades could use some aid.
00:17:35.000 And North Carolina could use some aid.
00:17:37.000 Oh, so we're the piggy bank of the world.
00:17:39.000 It ends.

00:18:50.000 "Exciting news today.
00:18:54.000 We have numerous fronts are being covered.
00:18:57.000 Before we do that, we'll give you certain proclamations.
00:19:00.000 We'll sign them.
00:19:01.000 And you'll hear a little bit about them.
00:19:03.000 Will, please.
00:19:04.000 Yes, sir.
00:19:05.000 First, we have for your signature five official designations of special envoys.
00:19:09.000 The first is Mr. Steve Wyckoff, who's actually in the room to be your Middle East envoy.
00:19:15.000 Where is Steve?
00:19:30.000 Steve Wyckoff, everybody.
00:19:32.000 He's done a great job in the Middle East.
00:19:35.000 Really great.
00:19:37.000 But we'll see how it all turns out.
00:19:39.000 It's complex.
00:19:40.000 But I think he's going to do very well.
00:19:43.000 Next, we have Mauricio Claver-Carone to be your special envoy to Latin America, sir.
00:19:48.000 Good man.
00:19:49.000 Okay.
00:19:58.000 Thank you, sir.
00:19:59.000 Next, we have retired General Keith Kellogg to be your special envoy on Russian-Ukraine issues.
00:20:07.000 We've made a lot of progress on Russia, Ukraine.
00:20:11.000 We'll see what happens, but a lot of progress has been made.
00:20:14.000 We've got to stop that ridiculous war.
00:20:17.000 Okay.
00:20:26.000 Thank you, sir.
00:20:27.000 Next, we have a designation of Richard Grinnell, Rick Grinnell, to be your envoy for special missions.
00:20:35.000 I sent him to California to turn on the water.
00:20:38.000 We turned it on.
00:20:39.000 It was not easy because we had to go through a lot of environmentalists that are causing a lot of problems, and we have billions of gallons of water.
00:20:47.000 It was on three days ago, you probably saw.
00:20:50.000 It should have gotten a lot of press, but it didn't get much.
00:20:52.000 All we're doing is giving Los Angeles and the entire state of California virtually unlimited water, which they could have done five years ago, which I told them they should do.
00:21:03.000 But the environmentalists stopped them.
00:21:05.000 And we opened it and we did it, regardless of the state.
00:21:10.000 And now the state seems to be very happy.
00:21:13.000 I spoke with Gavin Newsom and he...
00:21:17.000 He's very happy.
00:21:18.000 I almost called him by the other name.
00:21:21.000 My little nickname for him.
00:21:23.000 But I think they're all happy.
00:21:25.000 They have a lot of water in California.
00:21:26.000 Too bad we didn't have it about two months ago, right?
00:21:31.000 By the way, that was a big move.
00:21:35.000 I don't know if you saw the pictures that were released of the water pouring down from the Pacific Northwest and Canada and lots of other places.
00:21:44.000 And it's a pretty amazing sight.
00:21:48.000 Mr. President, Rick Burnell had a big Friday trip as well.
00:21:53.000 He had a very big Friday trip, you're right.
00:21:55.000 We'll talk about that.
00:21:56.000 He's a good man, Rick.
00:21:58.000 Lastly, sir, we have a designation of Mark Burnett as your special envoy to the United Kingdom.
00:22:03.000 You know who Mark Burnett is?
00:22:05.000 He should be good.
00:22:08.000 He certainly has done a great job.
00:22:10.000 A friend of mine.
00:22:11.000 Very talented guy.
00:22:13.000 We have very talented people working for us.
00:22:18.000 I'll hold that one up because Mark gets so much television, we'll hold it up, right?
00:22:23.000 He'll be thrilled to see it.
00:22:24.000 He's going to do a good job.
00:22:26.000 Thank you, sir.
00:22:28.000 Next, your administration has smashed records for appointing large numbers of highly qualified, capable people at all levels of the federal government.
00:22:37.000 These are 28 sub-cabinet-level officials being appointed to a number of different departments and agencies.
00:22:43.000 Some of them are quite important positions, like departmental general counsels.
00:22:48.000 But these are people who have been pre-vetted and have received your approval previously.
00:22:52.000 - Very good.
00:23:01.000 Okay.
00:23:02.000 Thank you, sir.
00:23:03.000 Next, this is an executive order.
00:23:05.000 This charges your Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, and your Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, to begin a process that will hopefully result in the creation of an American sovereign wealth fund.
00:23:17.000 It's a very exciting event.
00:23:21.000 We're going to have a sovereign wealth fund, which we've never had.
00:23:24.000 We have a lot of things that create wealth, and you're seeing that over the last two weeks.
00:23:29.000 I think we've created more wealth.
00:23:31.000 Other people have created de-wealth.
00:23:34.000 The people, my predecessors, we're creating a lot of wealth.
00:23:37.000 Scott, maybe you'd like to say something about it, and I'd ask also Howard to say something about it.
00:23:45.000 Yes, sir, this is very exciting.
00:23:48.000 We're going to stand this thing up.
00:23:50.000 Within the next 12 months, we're going to monetize the asset side of the U.S. balance sheet for the American people.
00:23:59.000 We're going to put the assets to work.
00:24:04.000 And I think it's going to be very exciting.
00:24:07.000 We're going to study best practices that's done around the world.
00:24:10.000 It'll be a combination of liquid assets, assets that we have in this country, as we work to bring them out for the American people.
00:24:21.000 The extraordinary size and scale of the U.S. government and the business it does with companies.
00:24:30.000 Should create value for American citizens.
00:24:33.000 If we are going to buy 2 billion COVID vaccines, maybe we should have some warrants and some equity in these companies and have that grow for the help of the American people.
00:24:45.000 So bringing all these things together, I think we'll create, Scott and I will create an amazing sovereign wealth fund for you, sir.
00:24:53.000 So other countries have sovereign wealth funds and they're much smaller countries and they're not.
00:24:58.000 The United States, we have tremendous potential in this country.
00:25:01.000 Tremendous.
00:25:02.000 You're seeing that's what's happened just in a short period of time.
00:25:06.000 And as an example, TikTok, we're going to be doing something perhaps with TikTok and perhaps not.
00:25:11.000 If we make the right deal, we'll do it.
00:25:13.000 Otherwise, we won't.
00:25:14.000 But I have the right to do that.
00:25:16.000 And we might put that in the sovereign wealth fund, whatever we make, or if we do a partnership with very wealthy people, a lot of options.
00:25:24.000 But we could put that as an example in the fund.
00:25:28.000 And we have a lot of other things that we could put in the fund.
00:25:30.000 And I think in a short period of time, we'd have one of the biggest funds.
00:25:33.000 And, you know, some of some of them are pretty large.
00:25:36.000 I must tell you some of the like the Saudi Arabia fund is is on the large side.
00:25:42.000 But eventually we'll catch it.
00:25:44.000 But we're going to create a lot of wealth for the fund.
00:25:47.000 And I think it's about time that this country had a sovereign wealth fund.
00:25:51.000 These two gentlemen and some others are going to work with them very closely, and they'll be heading it up, and they're going to do a great job.
00:25:58.000 Two highly respected people that have done unbelievably well in the world, in the real world.
00:26:04.000 So that's a big deal, huh?
00:26:06.000 Yes, sir.
00:26:06.000 I think it's going to create value and be of great strategic importance.
00:26:14.000 Mr. President, why is it important for Elon Musk to have access to the payment systems at Treasury?
00:26:19.000 Well, he's got access only to letting people go that he thinks are no good, if we agree with him.
00:26:25.000 And it's only if we agree with him.
00:26:27.000 He's a very talented guy from the standpoint of management and costs.
00:26:32.000 And we put him in charge of seeing what he can do with certain groups and certain numbers.
00:26:39.000 Some of the numbers are horrible, what he's found.
00:26:42.000 A hundred, think of it, a hundred million dollars on condoms to Hamas.
00:26:51.000 Condoms to Hamas.
00:26:52.000 And many other things that are, frankly, even more ridiculous.
00:26:56.000 And they're finding tremendous waste, really waste, more than anything else, I think you could say.
00:27:04.000 Probably fraud and abuse could be added to it.
00:27:07.000 The more standard waste, fraud and abuse.
00:27:10.000 But they're finding tremendous amounts of really bad things, bad spending.
00:27:17.000 You've been reading about, you've been writing about some of it, frankly, and some of the things that they've been doing is just terrible.
00:27:24.000 Elon can't do and won't do anything without our approval.
00:27:30.000 And we'll give him the approval.
00:27:31.000 We're appropriate.
00:27:32.000 We're not appropriate.
00:27:33.000 We won't.
00:27:34.000 But he reports in and he...
00:27:38.000 It's something that he feels very strongly about, and I'm impressed because he's running, obviously, a big company.
00:27:44.000 It has nothing to do with there's a conflict that we won't let him get near it.
00:27:48.000 But he does have a good natural instinct.
00:27:50.000 He's got a team of very talented people.
00:27:52.000 We're trying to shrink government, and he can probably shrink it as well as anybody else, if not better.
00:27:58.000 Where we think there's a conflict or there's a problem, we won't let him go near it.
00:28:04.000 But he has some very good ideas, and we have a lot of other talented people also.
00:28:08.000 We're bringing in the most talented people in the world.
00:28:11.000 By the way, we're just unrelated, but we have two of the most talented people in the world, the legendary Rupert Murdoch and Larry Ellison.
00:28:19.000 So they are two legends in business, publishing, and probably every other.
00:28:24.000 Rupert is...
00:28:26.000 Larry pretty much in a class by himself, right?
00:28:29.000 I mean, although you may have a couple of bucks more.
00:28:32.000 I don't know.
00:28:32.000 But Rupert is in a class by himself.
00:28:35.000 He's an amazing guy.
00:28:36.000 And Larry is Larry.
00:28:39.000 Larry is one of the most serious players anywhere in the world.
00:28:42.000 So it's an honor to have you.
00:28:44.000 This has nothing to do with you people, but they hear it.
00:28:47.000 I thought it would be appropriate.
00:28:48.000 I'm sure you didn't recognize them.
00:28:51.000 They're all going crazy to say, what are they doing here?
00:28:54.000 Thank you, sir.
00:28:55.000 Mr. President, on the tariffs, is there any chance that Canada or China could also get out of the tariffs after you start to deal with Mexico?
00:29:02.000 Well, nobody's out with Mexico.
00:29:04.000 We had a great talk with Mexico, and we had President Scheinbaum.
00:29:12.000 Is a woman I like her very much.
00:29:14.000 We've had good relationships, but we have to stop fentanyl from coming in, whether I like somebody or not, and we have to stop the illegal aliens from coming in.
00:29:23.000 I think we've lost 200,000 people on average a year for many years, much higher than the 100,000.
00:29:28.000 It could be even closer to 300,000.
00:29:31.000 And they've agreed to put in 10,000 soldiers permanently.
00:29:36.000 Like forever, 10,000 soldiers at their side of the border and stop fentanyl and illegal aliens from coming into our country.
00:29:44.000 They have a big incentive to do.
00:29:46.000 Other than that, we've agreed to talk and consider various other things.
00:29:52.000 We haven't agreed on tariffs yet, and maybe we will, maybe we won't.
00:29:55.000 But we have a very good relationship.
00:29:58.000 I also spoke with Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada.
00:30:02.000 And we had a good talk in the morning, but I did ask him a couple of questions, like, you know, banks aren't allowed to do business in Canada.
00:30:09.000 Canada is very tough.
00:30:11.000 Canada is very, you know, we're not treated well by Canada, and we have to be treated well.
00:30:18.000 Banks are not, as an example, allowed.
00:30:20.000 Did you know that?
00:30:21.000 That banks, American banks, are not allowed to do business in Canada.
00:30:24.000 Can you believe that?
00:30:25.000 And that's one of many things that we talked about, and I think we'll win most of the subjects.
00:30:31.000 But for some reason, a lot of things have been very unfair with Canada.
00:30:36.000 I noticed that in the first term.
00:30:38.000 You deal with people, and after a while you begin to realize, like you learn that Larry Ellison's very tough to do business with, okay?
00:30:45.000 He's a very tough guy.
00:30:46.000 I mean, I'm sure you're shocked to hear that.
00:30:48.000 But Canada's very tough.
00:30:51.000 They're very, very tough to do business with.
00:30:55.000 And we can't let them take advantage of the U.S. They don't take our agricultural product for the most part.
00:31:01.000 They don't take our cars.
00:31:03.000 They make cars, but they basically don't take our cars.
00:31:06.000 And, you know, we don't need, and look, I think we're going to have another good conversation today.
00:31:10.000 We're actually speaking at 3 o'clock again.
00:31:13.000 But we don't need them to make our cars.
00:31:15.000 We don't need them to give us lumber.
00:31:17.000 We don't need them for agricultural products because we have all the agriculture we need.
00:31:23.000 They don't take our agricultural product for the most part, our milk, dairy, etc.
00:31:28.000 A little bit they do, but not much.
00:31:30.000 We take theirs.
00:31:32.000 And as far as cars are concerned, they took in a big percentage, almost 19% of the market.
00:31:38.000 And, you know, I wouldn't mind making our cars in the United States, so we have a problem there.
00:31:43.000 I'd like to make our cars.
00:31:45.000 In the U.S., we don't need Canada to make our cars.
00:31:48.000 With that being said, we're going to have another call at 3 o'clock.
00:31:51.000 We had a call this morning.
00:31:52.000 It was a pretty good call, I'd say.
00:31:55.000 So the call with Mexico went very well, in the sense that they're very strong now on the border.
00:32:01.000 They're going to put soldiers there.
00:32:03.000 Actually, they're best military soldiers, and they're going to be at the border.
00:32:09.000 10,000, that's a lot of soldiers.
00:32:11.000 And they want to protect it also.
00:32:13.000 You know, they want...
00:32:14.000 They don't want people running through Mexico, coming through Mexico to come into our country.
00:32:18.000 So they're going to do that.
00:32:20.000 And then we're going to talk about other things over the next.
00:32:23.000 And we're going to have, over the next 30 days, we're going to have Scott, Howard, and Marco, Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, lead the delegation.
00:32:32.000 And we're going to have a big negotiation with Mexico.
00:32:36.000 I'll be involved, too, and President Scheinbaum will be involved to see whether or not we can work something out on the tariffs.
00:32:43.000 China will be speaking to China probably over the next 24 hours.
00:32:50.000 We don't want fentanyl coming into our country.
00:32:54.000 Now, we had another big thing, speaking of China.
00:32:58.000 China's involved with the Panama Canal.
00:33:00.000 They won't be for long.
00:33:02.000 And that's the way it has to be.
00:33:04.000 Marco just got back, as you know.
00:33:06.000 He's in the process of coming back.
00:33:08.000 I guess he's almost back by now.
00:33:10.000 And he had a very long conversation with the leader of Panama, the respected man, and some others, the entire leadership group.
00:33:22.000 And we're trying to work a deal of the Panama Canal.
00:33:27.000 The Panama Canal was given foolishly.
00:33:30.000 Years ago to, it shouldn't have happened, years ago to Panama by Jimmy Carter and the group.
00:33:40.000 We lost 38,000 people building the Panama Canal, like one of the great wonders of the world.
00:33:47.000 It's the biggest job we've ever built, the biggest project we've ever built in this country, dollar-wise and every other way.
00:33:54.000 38,000 people died, Americans, all men, just about laborers and construction people.
00:34:02.000 They went to Panama.
00:34:03.000 The mosquito got them.
00:34:05.000 Between mosquito and snakes, we lost 38,000 people.
00:34:10.000 It was the most expensive project ever built by the United States.
00:34:14.000 The biggest, most expensive project we ever built 110 years ago.
00:34:19.000 If you bring it up to now, it would have been the equivalent of $2 trillion.
00:34:23.000 the most expensive we ever built and We gave it away for $1, OK? We gave it away essentially for nothing.
00:34:32.000 And we either want it back or we're going to get something very strong or we're going to take it back.
00:34:41.000 And China will be dealt with.
00:34:48.000 And we didn't give that to China.
00:34:50.000 We gave it to Panama.
00:34:52.000 We shouldn't have given it to Panama.
00:34:53.000 But Panama, as you know, has violated the agreement.
00:34:56.000 Totally violated the agreement.
00:34:58.000 So that's in the process right now.
00:35:00.000 But they did have a very good meeting with the head of Panama.

00:36:05.000 In addition to tariffs on China, do you say your current thinking about whether China should be forced to pay reparations both for fentanyl deaths and the million- No, I haven't talked about that, but they do have tariffs.
00:36:20.000 Honestly, nobody.
00:36:21.000 The amount of money that was lost and most importantly, the lives lost because of COVID is not something that anybody could ever even imagine.
00:36:34.000 It's probably $60 trillion that all the countries in the world don't have $60 trillion.
00:36:40.000 The amount of death and the amount of destruction and the amount of money lost is probably $60 trillion.
00:36:48.000 I had it figured by people.
00:36:50.000 About three months ago, I was just figuring out.
00:36:54.000 Nobody knows what the real number is, but it's almost an infinite number, the damage done.
00:37:00.000 But I have not discussed that.
00:37:02.000 What I have discussed is we'll have some good meetings with China.
00:37:06.000 We have meetings planned, and we'll see what happens.
00:37:10.000 But that was just an opening salvo.
00:37:14.000 If we can't make a deal with China, then the tariffs will be very, very substantial.
00:37:18.000 Okay, I'm going to sign this one.
00:37:20.000 Sir, you've obviously made making America healthy again a key priority of this administration.
00:37:25.000 A key component of that is obviously heart health.
00:37:28.000 This is a ceremonial proclamation declaring the month of February to be National Heart Month.
00:37:33.000 Okay.
00:37:35.000 I hear we're doing very well with nominations.
00:37:37.000 We'll see.
00:37:38.000 But it looks like we're doing very well with nominations.
00:37:44.000 Yes.
00:37:48.000 I've gotten a great response.
00:37:50.000 They want to do what's right, and we've had a good response.
00:37:53.000 I think we'll do well.
00:37:55.000 We have great people, people like this.
00:37:58.000 We have great, great people coming in.
00:38:01.000 I'd like to say the best ever recruited.
00:38:05.000 For government, I think we have the finest people ever recruited for government.
00:38:11.000 And you know what?
00:38:12.000 You're starting to see that because we've done more in two weeks than Biden's done in five years, six years.
00:38:18.000 They could be here between him and Obama.
00:38:21.000 You add it up, okay?
00:38:23.000 We've done more in two weeks than they've done in 12 years.
00:38:29.000 I don't know.
00:38:31.000 I don't think so.
00:38:32.000 Not when it comes to fraud.
00:38:34.000 If there's fraud, these people are lunatics.
00:38:36.000 And if it comes to fraud, you wouldn't have an act of Congress.
00:38:40.000 And I'm not sure that you would anyway.
00:38:42.000 But we just want to do the right thing.
00:38:45.000 It's something that should have been done a long time ago.
00:38:48.000 It went crazy during the Biden administration.
00:38:51.000 They went totally crazy what they were doing.
00:38:53.000 And the money they were giving to people that shouldn't be getting it and to agencies and others that shouldn't be getting it was a shame.
00:39:03.000 Tremendous fraud.
00:39:04.000 But we'll be doing a report.
00:39:06.000 We'll be giving you that report at the appropriate time.
00:39:08.000 On the first term, though, USAID was something that you liked in some respects.
00:39:12.000 I love the concept of it.
00:39:14.000 Sure.
00:39:15.000 I love the concept, but they turn out to be radical left lunatics.
00:39:19.000 And the concept of it is good.
00:39:21.000 It's all about the people.
00:39:26.000 Well, we have massive deficits with the European Union.
00:39:32.000 Massive.
00:39:33.000 Like $350 billion, if you can believe it.
00:39:36.000 They don't take our farm product.
00:39:38.000 They don't take our cars.
00:39:39.000 They don't take almost anything, but we take their cars.
00:39:42.000 We have millions of cars coming in.
00:39:44.000 BMW and Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen and just so many different...
00:39:51.000 We don't do anything about that.
00:39:53.000 And we don't charge them tariffs.
00:39:56.000 They make it impossible to sell cars in the European Union.
00:40:00.000 They make it very difficult agricultural product.
00:40:03.000 They actually don't take it.
00:40:04.000 And they have a lot of excuses.
00:40:06.000 Some of them are the pesticides and the different chemicals used.
00:40:10.000 And Bobby Kennedy actually is looking at that very, very seriously.
00:40:15.000 Because maybe it's not necessary to use all of that.
00:40:18.000 You know, we want to be the healthiest country, and we're not.
00:40:21.000 We spend more money on food than anybody else in terms of its creation, but we're not the healthiest country.
00:40:27.000 So maybe there is something to the fact that we shouldn't be using so much chemical, and maybe that'll stop.
00:40:34.000 But Bobby Kennedy is the one, because he is not a believer in all of the things we have done, and neither are the Europeans.
00:40:41.000 So we'll see what happens.
00:40:42.000 But they use it as an excuse not to buy our product.
00:40:46.000 And you tried, I asked a couple of the leaders, I don't want to use names, but how many Chevrolets or Fords do you see in the middle of Munich?
00:40:55.000 And the answer is none, because they don't take any cars.
00:40:59.000 They don't take anything.
00:41:00.000 So the European has abused the United States for years, and they can't do that.
00:41:07.000 And they want to make a deal.
00:41:08.000 Let me tell you, in all cases, they all want to make deals.
00:41:12.000 There's nobody that doesn't want to make deals.
00:41:14.000 They've been abusers, and they want to make deals.
00:41:17.000 So we'll see about that.
00:41:18.000 But we'll have, I think, some very fair...
00:41:22.000 All we want is a fair deal.
00:41:24.000 And, you know, there's a word, reciprocal.
00:41:26.000 I'd go right now, reciprocal tariffs on everybody.
00:41:30.000 Because many of the countries that you feel so horrible about, the way they're being treated by Trump...
00:41:35.000 You're saying, oh, President Trump is so terrible to them.
00:41:38.000 Well, they charge us tariffs.
00:41:40.000 The European Union has a VAT tax, which is through the roof, okay?
00:41:43.000 It's a similar thing, similar to a tariff.
00:41:46.000 It's a VAT. And they have it, and it's numbers like you wouldn't believe.
00:41:51.000 And Canada, I told you about the banks, and I told you they charge us.
00:41:56.000 And people don't say that.
00:41:58.000 They don't like to say it.
00:41:59.000 Just like they don't like to say that I opened up the water for California.
00:42:03.000 It's a great thing.
00:42:04.000 It's too bad they didn't do it themselves.
00:42:05.000 I had to do it and it was not easy.
00:42:07.000 We did it a very rough way.
00:42:09.000 And I didn't like to do it a rough way.
00:42:11.000 We shouldn't have to do it a rough way.
00:42:14.000 But a lot of these countries that we're talking about, you know, they're so-called allies, but they don't treat us well.
00:42:20.000 And just like I got $420 billion and now it's actually over $600 billion.
00:42:27.000 The Secretary General of NATO came in two weeks ago, and he said it was a miracle.
00:42:33.000 When Trump came in, when President Trump came into NATO, he said it was $636 billion.
00:42:39.000 By saying to them, no, you have to pay.
00:42:42.000 And if you don't pay, we're not going to be there for you.
00:42:46.000 You know, somebody has to say it, and they paid.
00:42:48.000 And it was a large amount of money.
00:42:50.000 And one of the problems we have with the Russia-Ukraine situation is that we wanted to see some...
00:42:58.000 Equalization.
00:42:58.000 Because we're in for close to $300 billion and they're in for $200 billion less.
00:43:06.000 Why are they in for less?
00:43:07.000 Because Biden never asked them for money.
00:43:09.000 He never said, you got to pay.
00:43:11.000 He never did.
00:43:12.000 All he did is hand out money.
00:43:14.000 So we're talking with them right now and we're actually working some deals right now so we have some guarantees and some...
00:43:23.000 Other things to keep that whole situation to go, really going.
00:43:29.000 I mean, going.
00:43:30.000 We're telling Ukraine they have a very valuable rare earth.
00:43:35.000 We want what we put up to go in terms of a guarantee.
00:43:40.000 We want a guarantee.
00:43:42.000 We're handing them money hand over fist.
00:43:44.000 We're giving them equipment.
00:43:46.000 European is not keeping up with us.
00:43:48.000 They should equalize.
00:43:49.000 Look, we have an ocean in between.
00:43:51.000 They don't.
00:43:52.000 It's more important for them than it is for us.
00:43:55.000 But they're way below us in terms of money.
00:43:57.000 And they should be paying at least equal.
00:44:01.000 They should really be paying much more than us.
00:44:03.000 But let's say equal to us.
00:44:05.000 And they're billions and billions of dollars below.
00:44:09.000 So we're looking to do a deal with Ukraine where they're going to secure what we're giving them with their rare earth and other things.
00:44:17.000 Mr. President, I did a deal with Mexico this morning.
00:44:20.000 Was that partially related to the market reaction and a criticism from Mr. Murdoch's own newspaper?
00:44:26.000 He called it the dumbest trade war on the editorial page on Saturday.
00:44:31.000 I'm going to have to talk to him.
00:44:32.000 I'm going to have to talk to him.
00:44:35.000 I've been right over the Wall Street Journal many times, I won't say that.
00:44:39.000 I don't agree with him on some things.
00:44:41.000 Not only is it not dumb, you're going to see.
00:44:45.000 You're going to see.
00:44:46.000 Every single one of those countries is dying to make a deal.
00:44:49.000 You know why?
00:44:50.000 Because they're ripping us off really badly.
00:44:53.000 And the United States is tired of just being ripped off.
00:44:58.000 And that's why we have $36 trillion in debt.
00:45:01.000 We have it for a reason, because we make bad deals with everybody.
00:45:05.000 And we don't allow that anymore.
00:45:08.000 So the Wall Street Journal is wrong, very simply.
00:45:11.000 Every single country that you're writing about right now is dying to make a deal because the deals they have right now are so good and so good for them and so profitable for them.
00:45:22.000 You didn't know that Canada didn't allow our banks.
00:45:25.000 You didn't know all of these different things.
00:45:28.000 And I think in the end you're going to see that...
00:45:31.000 Either very, very substantial tariffs are going to be paid by them, or they're going to make some kind of a deal.
00:45:37.000 Did what?
00:45:42.000 There was no blinking.
00:45:43.000 No, she's a wonderful woman.
00:45:44.000 But she did agree to 10,000 soldiers on the border.
00:45:47.000 I would say that's a lot.
00:45:49.000 Would you say that's pretty good?
00:45:50.000 10,000 soldiers on the border?
00:45:52.000 And the 10,000 soldiers are going to keep illegal aliens out, and they're going to keep them seriously out.
00:46:00.000 And otherwise, they're going to have a big penalty.
00:46:02.000 Mexico is going to be penalized.
00:46:04.000 They're not going to come through Mexico anymore.
00:46:06.000 And they're not going to let the fentanyl come in from China.
00:46:09.000 And China, hopefully, is going to stop sending us fentanyl.
00:46:13.000 And if they're not, the tariffs are going to go substantially higher.
00:46:16.000 Sir, just to clarify, when you said about Ukraine earlier, the rare earths, is that something you want them to give the rare earths to the United States?
00:46:24.000 Yeah.
00:46:25.000 I want to have security of rare earth.
00:46:28.000 We're putting in hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:46:30.000 They have great rare earth, and I want security of the rare earth.
00:46:35.000 And they're willing to do it.
00:46:37.000 Mr. President, on Canada, when you talk to Justin Trudeau again, is there anything he can give you at 3 p.m.
00:46:43.000 when you talk again to also take care of pause, like you said, with Mexico?
00:46:47.000 I don't know.
00:46:47.000 We have big deficits with Canada, like we do with all countries.
00:46:51.000 I mean, I look at some of the deals made, I say, who the hell made these deals that are so bad?
00:46:56.000 But with Canada, I have a talk with him, and you maybe know, maybe not.
00:47:02.000 We're going to meet again or talk again at 3 o'clock, right after my next meeting, and we'll see what happens.
00:47:09.000 I can't tell you what's going to happen.
00:47:11.000 You mentioned that he could agree to, to change your mind on the terrorism?
00:47:15.000 Well, we can always...
00:47:16.000 Look, what I'd like to see, Canada become our 51st state.
00:47:19.000 We give them protection, military protection.
00:47:23.000 We don't need them to build our cars.
00:47:26.000 I'd rather see Detroit or South Carolina or any one of our...
00:47:30.000 Tennessee, any one of our states build the cars.
00:47:33.000 They could do it very easily.
00:47:34.000 We don't need them for the cars.
00:47:35.000 We don't need them for lumber.
00:47:37.000 We don't need them for anything.
00:47:38.000 We don't need them for energy.
00:47:40.000 We have more energy than they do.
00:47:41.000 We don't need them for energy.
00:47:44.000 So I say, why are we doing this?
00:47:46.000 Why are we willing to lose between $100 billion and $200 billion a year?
00:47:51.000 We don't need them.
00:47:53.000 As a state, it's different.
00:47:54.000 As a state, it's much different.
00:47:56.000 And there are no tariffs.
00:47:58.000 So I'd love to see that, but some people say that would be a long shot.
00:48:05.000 If people wanted to play the game right, it would be 100% certain that they'd become a state.
00:48:12.000 But a lot of people don't like to play the game because they don't have a threshold of pain.
00:48:17.000 And there would be some pain.
00:48:20.000 But not a lot.
00:48:21.000 The pain would be really there.
00:48:23.000 So we're going to meet again by phone at 3 o'clock, and we'll let you know.
00:48:28.000 On Israel, President Trump, you're prepared to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:48:31.000 Coming in tomorrow.
00:48:32.000 Yes, you mentioned in the past you're concerned about Israel being too small geographically.
00:48:37.000 Would you support annexation of parts of the West Bank by Israel?
00:48:40.000 Well, I'm not going to talk about that.
00:48:42.000 It certainly is a small...
00:48:45.000 It's a small country in terms of land.
00:48:47.000 See this pen, this wonderful pen?
00:48:50.000 My desk is the Middle East.
00:48:52.000 And this pen, the top of the pen, that's Israel.
00:48:55.000 That's not good, right?
00:48:57.000 You know, it's a pretty big difference.
00:48:59.000 I use that as an analogy.
00:49:00.000 It's pretty accurate, actually.
00:49:02.000 It's a pretty small piece of land.
00:49:06.000 And it's amazing that they've been able to do what they've been able to do when you think about it.
00:49:10.000 There's a lot of good, smart brainpower.
00:49:13.000 But it is a very small piece of land, no question about it.
00:49:17.000 For the most part, yeah.
00:49:31.000 I mean, if there was something that didn't have my OK, I'd let you know about it really fast.
00:49:38.000 If there was a...
00:49:40.000 No, no, I haven't seen that.
00:49:42.000 And he would know not to do it.
00:49:44.000 So we haven't had that yet.
00:49:45.000 But if there was a conflict, we would let them work in that.
00:49:48.000 Is there a reason you said on the mark of Panama that they were going to make a deal where the U.S. is willing to take it?
00:49:53.000 How long do they have to make that sort of deal?
00:49:55.000 And are they still meeting on the table?
00:49:56.000 We're going to meet with Panama on Friday at about 3.30 in the afternoon by phone.
00:50:05.000 And maybe there'll be some representatives here or there.
00:50:10.000 But we're going to be talking to Panama on Friday, essentially.
00:50:15.000 And they've agreed to certain things, but I'm not happy with it.
00:50:19.000 On the Middle East, Mr. President, if I may, do you still have doubts that the ceasefire will hold?
00:50:24.000 On what?
00:50:25.000 On the Middle East, do you think the ceasefire will hold?
00:50:27.000 I have no assurances that it'll hold.
00:50:29.000 I mean, I've seen people brutalized.
00:50:31.000 I've never...
00:50:32.000 Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
00:50:34.000 No, I have no guarantees that...
00:50:36.000 The peace is going to hold.
00:50:37.000 Steve, you might want to say something about that, Steve Whitcock?
00:50:41.000 It's holding so far.
00:50:43.000 So, and we're certainly hopeful.
00:50:46.000 And that's the president's direction.
00:50:48.000 Get the hostages out, save lives, and come to, hopefully, a peaceful settlement of it all.
00:50:55.000 So, so far, it's holding.
00:50:57.000 Mr. President, on a different topic, questionnaires have been going on to FBI agents across the country who were involved potentially in the investigation.
00:51:05.000 Do you believe anyone involved in any level should be fired, sir?
00:51:09.000 Well, I think the FBI was a very corrupt institution, and I'm a victim of it in a true sense.
00:51:15.000 I was able to beat it, but other people have been treated horribly.
00:51:21.000 I think the FBI... But you know what?
00:51:43.000 We have to have pristine, beautiful, perfect law enforcement.
00:51:49.000 What we want to do, and Cash is the one to do it.
00:51:52.000 He's the one guy that is going to do it.
00:51:55.000 We have to bring the reputation of the FBI. We have to bring the fact of the FBI back to what it could be.
00:52:02.000 Not even to what it was, even better than it ever was.
00:52:06.000 Because who would have thought that the FBI could have been corrupted like they were corrupted?
00:52:11.000 Who would have thought that would have happened?
00:52:13.000 Who would have thought they would have been used to go after political opponents, essentially?
00:52:18.000 Me being the number one.
00:52:20.000 And so many other things beyond that.
00:52:22.000 And they've been hurt very badly, and we'll see what happens.
00:52:25.000 But Cash is the one to do it, and I hear he's doing very well.
00:52:29.000 Cash will straighten it out.
00:52:30.000 We have great confidence that we can make the FBI great again.
00:52:35.000 Okay, one or two more and we'll be done.
00:52:39.000 Say it?
00:52:40.000 Yeah, I think Tulsi's going to be doing okay.
00:52:43.000 I can't guarantee anything, but she's liked by so many people, especially people in the military and law enforcement.
00:52:51.000 She has a little bit of trouble with some senators over her thoughts on Edward Snowden.
00:52:54.000 I know with Snowden, you've mentioned in the past you're thinking about pardoning him.
00:52:58.000 Are you still, and what do you think about Edward Snowden?
00:53:00.000 No, I don't talk about it right now.
00:53:02.000 I just, people feel very differently.
00:53:05.000 Some people...
00:53:06.000 I think he should be pardoned, and some people think it would be a terrible thing to do, but I don't get involved in that.
00:53:11.000 Just respect.
00:53:16.000 I have great respect for Rupert Murdoch.
00:53:18.000 I disagree with him a lot of times with the Wall Street Journal, but that's all right.
00:53:22.000 We've disagreed before, and I'm sure they didn't have any idea what they were talking about, because already you see what's happening.
00:53:30.000 Look at Columbia.
00:53:32.000 Look at what happened with that.
00:53:34.000 Everybody said that with Colombia, it was going to be a disaster.
00:53:38.000 In one hour, everything was settled.
00:53:42.000 You know why?
00:53:43.000 Tariffs.
00:53:45.000 Tariffs.
00:53:46.000 Without tariffs, they wouldn't have been the same way.
00:53:49.000 They would not have treated me the way they treated me, which was extremely nicely.
00:53:56.000 And I don't want to use countries.
00:53:58.000 I don't want to use names.
00:54:00.000 Tariffs are very powerful, both economically and in getting everything else you want.
00:54:05.000 Tariffs for us, nobody can compete with us because we're the pot of gold.
00:54:08.000 But if we don't keep winning and keep doing well, we won't be the pot of gold, and then tariffs won't be so good for us.
00:54:15.000 But when you're the pot of gold, the tariffs are very good, they're very powerful, and they're going to make our country very rich again.
00:54:24.000 Thank you very much, everybody.
00:54:26.000 Wow, that was a pretty amazing press conference with President Trump.
00:54:29.000 Just to recap, creation of the sovereign wealth fund, explaining of the tariffs, understanding that these other countries are mobilizing forces to the southern border.
00:54:38.000 Remarkable to see President Donald Trump dealing in real time.
00:54:41.000 That is a masterclass of diplomacy right there.
00:54:44.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
