00:01:42.000 Hey, my name is Christian. I'm very glad to be here, too.
00:01:44.000 How are you? How are you enjoying Montana so far?
00:01:47.000 It's pretty gorgeous, actually.
00:01:49.000 Very gorgeous. Yeah, beautiful day out today.
00:01:51.000 It's not too cold. Just tilt up the mic a little bit.
00:01:53.000 Yeah, yeah. All right, so I just want to get in and get out.
00:01:56.000 I just want to ask you... How you think our country's current efforts, I'm an environmental science student, and I'm just wondering how you believe our country's current efforts in promoting sustainability and respecting our resources are, and how you plan on addressing that in the future, or what your stances are on that.
00:02:12.000 Do you mean like natural resources?
00:02:15.000 Natural resources, yeah. We're noticing water levels in a lot of different bodies of water depleting, and we're just, I don't think, on the right path at this current moment.
00:02:26.000 I'm just wondering what your stance is on that.
00:02:28.000 Yeah, my stance is a human-first perspective.
00:02:30.000 So, I mean, of course, I love the environment and I want it to be clean and clean air, clean water.
00:02:34.000 I guess my question for you, if there's a decision to be made and if it harms humans but it helps the environment, what is the right decision?
00:02:41.000 I believe the correct decision is to protect the environment.
00:02:44.000 Even if it harms humans?
00:02:46.000 No. No, good.
00:02:48.000 I'm glad we agree. So we need to have a human-first perspective, right?
00:02:51.000 So would you say that it's a good thing that we have fossil fuels, oil, natural gas, fracking, things of that nature?
00:02:58.000 I believe that it is necessary in our current day and age.
00:03:00.000 I don't believe that we can phase it out immediately.
00:03:04.000 I think it has to be a gradual process, but I also don't believe that electric vehicles are necessarily the path.
00:03:10.000 I think that we just need to reduce transportation in total instead of just transitioning it to another form.
00:03:16.000 What do you mean by reducing transportation?
00:03:18.000 More public transportation, trains.
00:03:22.000 So we disagree on that.
00:03:23.000 I think that the fact that people can own their own cars, go where they want to go, when they want to go, is a sign of liberty and independence and not have to be captive to the government.
00:03:31.000 But that's okay. We just disagree.
00:03:33.000 I'm not disagreeing that everyone should be able to have their own vehicle.
00:03:36.000 I'm just saying that as a person, you should try and reduce your use in any way as possible.
00:03:40.000 Yeah, I don't see it that way, but that's okay.
00:03:43.000 Okay. Awesome. And also, do you believe in climactic change and changing weather patterns, like on a regional and local scale?
00:03:51.000 Well, yes. I mean, weather is changing.
00:03:53.000 Global temperatures are going up. Do I believe it's anthropogenic or human-caused?
00:03:57.000 That's debatable. Okay.
00:03:58.000 And for what reasons? Well, a couple things.
00:04:01.000 Carbon is life. So carbon does not necessarily cause rising global temperatures.
00:04:05.000 We don't know why temperatures are going up.
00:04:06.000 It might be because of carbon or human activity.
00:04:08.000 Do you know that there's actually more greenery on the planet than any time ever before?
00:04:13.000 The Earth is greener than it's ever been because, of course, as you increase carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide is plant food, so the world becomes greener.
00:04:21.000 As a result of that, most human beings actually die as a result of cold-based natural disasters, not warm-based or heat-based natural disasters.
00:04:28.000 So it's a very, very nuanced topic.
00:04:30.000 I guess the question is, then, what do we do about it?
00:04:32.000 And the radical environmentalists are not saying you're one of them wanting to get rid of fossil fuels completely, which I think would be a catastrophic mistake.
00:04:39.000 Yeah, I do believe that getting rid of fossil fuels completely would be a mistake if we did it incorrectly.
00:04:45.000 Yes. But I also think that it's somewhat ignorant to say that more fossil fuels, like more CO2, is just plant food.
00:04:51.000 How about natural gas? Natural gas, are you in favor of that?
00:04:55.000 Natural gas? I do like natural gas.
00:04:57.000 That's a fossil fuel, right?
00:04:58.000 Yes, our universe is actually powered by natural gas.
00:05:00.000 Great. Yeah, so we agree. So I mean, but natural gas requires fracking.
00:05:03.000 Yes. Because natural gas is the output of traditional horizontal drilling, right?
00:05:09.000 So you get the petroleum base, and then you get the natural gas, which is basically the output from that.
00:05:14.000 So yeah, we agree. We don't disagree much.
00:05:15.000 Yes, yes. Thank you very much.
00:05:16.000 Appreciate it. Thank you. All right, who's next?
00:05:21.000 Disagreements, welcome, or whatever you want to say.
00:05:23.000 Thank you for being here. Yes, hello.
00:05:25.000 Hello, I'm Katie.
00:05:26.000 Unfortunately, it's not a disagreement, so sorry.
00:05:28.000 But I do have a question, which is, what advice or input do you have regarding all these young voters with this huge influx of endorsements coming from these highly influential celebrities?
00:05:42.000 Yeah. Such as, like, Taylor Swift and people like that?
00:05:46.000 Yeah. Nerds, you know, huge thing with Supernatural and Nerds for Harris.
00:05:50.000 And so I'm just kind of curious...
00:05:54.000 Well, I mean, first of all, I mean, if you're accepting political advice from people whose lives are totally screwed up, that's a really bad idea.
00:05:59.000 So don't do that.
00:06:01.000 And when you're making a political decision, it should be less about what someone who's good at music or playing guitar says and more about what's going to improve your life.
00:06:08.000 And we've seen that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have destroyed this country over the last three and a half years.
00:06:13.000 Donald Trump had this country in a phenomenal place.
00:06:15.000 Better economy, secure border, no foreign wars.
00:06:18.000 And so, yeah, I mean, some rapper is going to tell you to go vote for Kamala Harris But don't you want to be able to own a home?
00:06:23.000 Oh, but some rapper told me to go vote Kamala Harris.
00:06:26.000 Well, don't you want to not be drafted into World War III? But some rapper told me to go vote for Kamala Harris.
00:06:31.000 So it's silly.
00:06:32.000 You should use wisdom and prudence when you make your political decisions.
00:06:35.000 And, I mean, the more celebrities that endorse Kamala Harris, the more I like Donald Trump.
00:06:41.000 Awesome. Thank you so much.
00:06:46.000 So my question is like, so you're obviously like a professional political pundit.
00:06:49.000 You've had years of training.
00:06:51.000 You know, you have all this money worth of resources behind you.
00:06:54.000 You have a PR team.
00:06:55.000 You got security here. So like, why do you as like a professional pundit think it's fair to come to college campuses and debate like college freshmen?
00:07:04.000 Like, doesn't that seem like kind of unfair to you?
00:07:07.000 Well, hold on. I mean, let's stop talking down to college kids.
00:07:11.000 I'm talking to voters, right?
00:07:12.000 This audience will determine the future of America.
00:07:14.000 Woo! And as you can see with my first dialogue, I'm not here to be adversarial.
00:07:21.000 We disagreed. I let him have his points in.
00:07:23.000 And as far as the fair standpoint, I have no notes.
00:07:26.000 You can go bring a professor.
00:07:27.000 Why don't you go bring a professor and bring him up to the mic?
00:07:31.000 Why don't you go find five professors that have PhDs.
00:07:34.000 I didn't go to college. That's a fair fight, right?
00:07:36.000 By the way, you guys are in college.
00:07:38.000 I graduated high school. Okay.
00:07:41.000 I mean, like, you come here, you say, this is not adversarial, but, I mean, on the text message you sent out, it says, come to the debate.
00:07:47.000 You have this sign that says, prove me wrong.
00:07:49.000 It seems like you, like, want this, like, debate to happen so you can put it on YouTube and upload a clip of you, dunk it on the libs or whatever, dude.
00:07:55.000 It seems like a grift is what it seems like to me.
00:07:57.000 Okay, but hold on a second. Don't you agree that more speech, not less speech, is better for a free society?
00:08:02.000 Sure, I agree with that, yeah.
00:08:04.000 But I would agree that, like, on this basis, it just seems like...
00:08:08.000 It's, like, disparate levels of, like, resources.
00:08:11.000 You know what I mean? It doesn't seem...
00:08:13.000 To me, it seems, like, kind of disingenuous in you coming here because it seems like you don't really, like, want to have this debate.
00:08:19.000 You just want to, like, dunk on people, bro.
00:08:21.000 Well, let me see.
00:08:23.000 I mean, so you're trying to play into my intentions, though.
00:08:25.000 So let me, why am I here?
00:08:27.000 I'm here to support our Turning Point chapter.
00:08:29.000 I'm here to help Tim Sheehy to defeat Jon Tester, as I said, which there's a lot of support for that.
00:08:34.000 And we're going to have dialogue and disagreement.
00:08:37.000 And yes, I've been doing this for quite a while.
00:08:40.000 But you could also go phone a friend.
00:08:41.000 Go bring 10 libs. You can all have your phones, and you can debate me, and I'll have no notes, and we'll see who wins.
00:08:47.000 In fact, I just debated 25 college kids by myself and actually went pretty well.
00:08:51.000 So, yeah, I mean, I'm not sure what your point is here.
00:08:55.000 This is a free speech event.
00:08:56.000 You can bring whoever you want.
00:08:57.000 And also, you don't have to come up to the mic.
00:09:00.000 I was just asking you, dude.
00:09:02.000 Yeah, and that's it. So if there's a point of disagreement, we can do that.
00:09:06.000 But last thing I'll say is this, is don't think so low of college kids.
00:09:10.000 You might, I don't.
00:09:11.000 This audience will determine the future of Western civilization.
00:09:14.000 And this audience might be drafted into a world war.
00:09:18.000 This audience is being used as pawns by people like John Tester and Kamala Harris to put their radical agenda.
00:09:23.000 It's time that we start talking to the next generation, not talking down to the next generation.
00:09:28.000 And that's what we're doing. Woo!
00:09:30.000 Thank you. Don't be a slave to the rate.
00:09:57.000 Talk to my good friends Andrew Del Rey and Todd Avakian.
00:10:00.000 Let them crunch the numbers for you and show you.
00:10:02.000 I've used them. They're amazing.
00:10:03.000 I can't say enough good stuff about them.
00:10:05.000 You can consolidate and pay off all your debt, lower your payments, save thousands in interest, and possibly even pay your home off sooner.

00:10:26.000 Yes, next disagreement, if you would like, or agreements.
00:10:29.000 Yes, sir. Okay.
00:10:31.000 How are you? I'm good.
00:10:32.000 How are you? So, I know close to nothing about politics, and I've seen you on TikTok a couple times, and you seem to have had some really good points.
00:10:42.000 And I guess I was wondering, why should I vote for Trump and Sheehy over Jon Tester and Kamala Harris?
00:10:51.000 That's a great question. What's your name? My name is Anthony.
00:10:53.000 Anthony. Give it up for Anthony. That's a great question.
00:10:55.000 Thank you. So, let's start with Trump.
00:10:59.000 There's no guesswork in this election.
00:11:00.000 We know the type of president that Trump was and that he will be.
00:11:03.000 The three things that matter most is I bet you want to own a home in your life, right?
00:11:07.000 Definitely. That's one of my biggest concerns.
00:11:09.000 Absolutely. When Trump was president, interest rates were 2%.
00:11:12.000 Now they're near 10%.
00:11:14.000 When Trump was president, it required an average of $75,000 a year to be able to afford a 30-year mortgage.
00:11:22.000 Now, $125,000 a year.
00:11:24.000 Gee. In just four years under Kamala Harris.
00:11:27.000 Why is that? It's because Kamala Harris has decided to print six to seven trillion dollars that we do not have, flood the zone with money, and increase asset prices everywhere.
00:11:34.000 The second of which is war.
00:11:36.000 I bet as a fair-minded person, you don't want to see yourself drafted into World War III and that seeing these wars abroad are not good for your country or generation.
00:11:46.000 In fact, I think the Iraq war was a mistake.
00:11:48.000 The Afghanistan war was a mistake.
00:11:50.000 Donald Trump was the first president in 30 years to not declare any new wars and be the
00:11:55.000 peace president.
00:11:56.000 Barack Obama, we had new wars.
00:11:58.000 George W. Bush, we had new wars.
00:11:59.000 Joe Biden, we had new wars.
00:12:00.000 For four years, we had no peace.
00:12:02.000 We had no wars.
00:12:03.000 We had peace with Russia.
00:12:05.000 We had peace with Israel.
00:12:06.000 We had peace with Ukraine.
00:12:07.000 And the final thing is the border.
00:12:10.000 Right now, over 10 million people have crossed the southern border illegally under Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, 13,000 of which are convicted murderers from other countries, 15,000 of which are convicted rapists from other countries.
00:12:22.000 That means that there are 28,000 people that were convicted of rape and murder just In the interior of the country, people have no idea where they are.
00:12:30.000 Donald Trump had the southern border the most secure it ever was in American history.
00:12:35.000 And to come into this country, he had to come in legally and come in orderly.
00:12:38.000 So when Donald Trump was president, young people were flourishing, owning homes, being able to start families.
00:12:43.000 You saw your incomes come up.
00:12:44.000 Now all of you, I'm sure you're feeling it.
00:12:46.000 Things are unaffordable. They're out of reach.
00:12:49.000 It is harder than ever to be able to have the American dream.
00:12:52.000 You are the first generation Since George Washington to have it worse off than your parents.
00:12:58.000 and that is because of Kamala Harris and John Tester that use you guys as pawns to fund
00:13:04.000 their political agenda in DC. Donald Trump will restore the American dream for your generation.
00:13:14.000 So so another follow up question is I'm sure you have all your sources, but where do you
00:13:22.000 get this? These statistics, if you don't mind.
00:13:26.000 Yeah, so it's okay.
00:13:27.000 So the first one is actually Zillow.com.
00:13:29.000 Far more reputable than even...
00:13:31.000 It's more reputable than a government website.
00:13:33.000 You guys can check it out. Zillow tracks the average house because that's their job, right?
00:13:37.000 If you guys know Zillow, it's the real estate aggregator of the country.
00:13:41.000 And so in Missoula, Montana...
00:13:43.000 It required about...
00:13:44.000 It was even less. It was like $60,000 a year.
00:13:46.000 You guys remember how cheap houses used to be here?
00:13:49.000 Not anymore, right? Why is that?
00:13:52.000 Well, two things. It's cheap money and a bunch of Californians that love Missoula that come into your state, right?
00:13:58.000 And we love some of the Californians that come in, right?
00:14:01.000 But no, so just...
00:14:02.000 You can fact check it yourself.
00:14:04.000 I encourage you to just look at Zillow.com and look at...
00:14:08.000 What it required to be able to own a home back four years ago versus now.
00:14:11.000 It's all transparent. The second one is wars.
00:14:15.000 I don't really need a citation for that, but there's no new wars under Trump.
00:14:19.000 There's two wars right now.
00:14:20.000 Israel's invading Lebanon right now.
00:14:22.000 We have the situation in Gaza.
00:14:23.000 We have Russia, Ukraine. It's a disaster.
00:14:25.000 to run the we are on the verge of a nuclear third world war which is a
00:14:29.000 disaster on and then as far as the border statistics that is straight from
00:14:32.000 immigration customs enforcement the CBP which is the border patrol council border
00:14:37.000 patrol and then finally this last weekend the immigration customs
00:14:40.000 enforcement issued the letter that said that 13,000 murders are just in the
00:14:45.000 interior the United States we don't know who that who they are or where they are
00:14:47.000 and and 15,000 people convicted of rape so those are the citations
00:14:51.000 Got it, got it. And I wanted to just have you say that just so no one could tell you, like, oh, I don't have any sources, I don't have any of this or that.
00:14:59.000 Thank you for that. Smart kid here.
00:15:01.000 I like that. It's good. And my final question is, do you think that Trump would be able to help bring down, like, overall costs, bring up income, make America livable again?
00:15:12.000 Absolutely. He will make America affordable again.
00:15:14.000 How? Number one, we will drill baby drill and bring down the price of energy so that it does not cost as much to heat your home in the winter to drive to be able to go on vacation or to drive to work.
00:15:25.000 We're going to bring down the price of oil.
00:15:27.000 Donald Trump will drill baby drill and bring down the price of oil day one.
00:15:31.000 Number two, inflation is a byproduct of wasteful government spending.
00:15:35.000 Donald Trump will stop all of this bloated government COVID nonsense.
00:15:39.000 He will bring down the spending, and instead he will bring more money in your pocket, delivering no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime.
00:15:49.000 So what that does is it brings more money back into your pockets, less money in the government's pockets, which will be the greatest tax cut in American history.
00:15:57.000 Donald Trump is running on the biggest middle-class tax cut in American history by promising no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime.
00:16:06.000 And finally, and most importantly, one of the reasons why housing prices is going up is when you allow 10 million people into your country that were uninvited, you guys have to now compete against foreigners for homes.
00:16:18.000 So there's only so many homes.
00:16:19.000 It's supply and demand. There's now more demand for homes and a huge supply of purchasers, which brings the price up.
00:16:26.000 And so instead of saying, well, you have to compete against the Honduran for a house in Missoula, Americans should come first when it comes for housing in this country, not people from the third world.
00:16:38.000 So Donald Trump doing the largest deportation effort in American history will put you guys first when it comes to housing and affordability, not the people that illegally came into this country.
00:16:47.000 Got it, got it. You want a hat?
00:16:49.000 Yes, sir. All right.
00:16:51.000 He wants a hat, everybody.
00:16:52.000 Give it up for him. Thank you.
00:16:55.000 Have a good day. God bless.
00:16:58.000 I'll make an exception, but usually I want students.
00:17:00.000 Unless you're a student. I am a student.
00:17:01.000 Alright, okay. Thank you. In fact, that's why I want to talk to you.
00:17:05.000 My name is Carolyn.
00:17:07.000 I went back to school later on in life.
00:17:10.000 I am getting my BA. I carry a 4.0 grade point average.
00:17:16.000 I am on the presidential list and the dean's list every semester.
00:17:20.000 Here's my issue.
00:17:23.000 I chose something in my life I didn't like.
00:17:27.000 I wanted to be a teacher my whole life.
00:17:30.000 Everybody kept telling me, you're great with kids, go be a teacher.
00:17:33.000 So I did.
00:17:34.000 I went to college.
00:17:37.000 I was excited about being a teacher.
00:17:40.000 It's been my dream for 40 years.
00:17:44.000 My second semester, I'm carrying an A average, and my teacher writes me an email and asks me what my pronouns were.
00:17:53.000 Um, I'm first year Gen X. I don't have a f***ing pronoun.
00:18:01.000 Let me tell you what I do have.
00:18:04.000 I have a noun.
00:18:05.000 And it's my name.
00:18:07.000 And that's the only English language I can actually f***ing say I have.
00:18:15.000 But I was cool, and I was really kind.
00:18:18.000 Excuse my language, but y'all are adults here, right?
00:18:21.000 Okay, good. So, excuse my language, but you know what?
00:18:25.000 I am pissed off because when I said to her, I'm sorry, I don't claim a pronoun, I got failed.
00:18:33.000 I got failed in three of her courses.
00:18:36.000 And my grade point average went from a 4.0 down to a 2.5 because I didn't carry a pronoun.
00:18:43.000 Are you kidding me?
00:18:45.000 Are you kidding me?
00:18:46.000 I have an incredible grade point average.
00:18:49.000 I'm a smart woman.
00:18:50.000 I've been working in the workforce for 40 years and my generation...
00:18:55.000 If y'all don't understand, invented the internet, for Christ's sakes.
00:18:59.000 We're not stupid.
00:19:01.000 All right? And yet, you're going to fail me for my pronouns.
00:19:05.000 So my questions are this.
00:19:06.000 As a student, if I don't want to claim this woke ideology, how...
00:19:15.000 Do I advance and get my degree in something I love and really want to do and would be really good at without being failed unless I fall into their agenda?
00:19:27.000 Tell me how to fix this.
00:19:29.000 Yeah, so first, thank you for your blunt nature.
00:19:32.000 It's very refreshing.
00:19:34.000 Thank you. Yes, there is no easy answer.
00:19:37.000 Number one, there's strength in numbers.
00:19:38.000 Confronting professors or administrators with you plus 10 or 30 other people is the first way to do it.
00:19:43.000 You should not go to appeal by yourself.
00:19:45.000 You should go with the Turning Point chapter and ask for a remedy with many people alongside of you.
00:19:51.000 Number two, though, and I'm just going to be as blunt as possible as you were, I really don't think grades matter that much in the world.
00:19:58.000 I know they matter to you for advancement.
00:20:00.000 My advice to people is that your character and your integrity and standing for what is right matters a lot more than pandering to some sort of an agenda.
00:20:09.000 And I know you agree with that.
00:20:10.000 Well, the problem is that you lose your funding.
00:20:13.000 Okay, the minute your grades hit below C... You lose all your grants and all your funding that's free.
00:20:20.000 So all these college kids that are getting these PAIL grants get them pulled.
00:20:26.000 No, I'm not diminishing that.
00:20:28.000 So they're holding your career hostage over that money.
00:20:32.000 That's why I think college is a scam.
00:20:34.000 I still think you should not comply to their tyrannical, woke orthodoxy.
00:20:41.000 You should fight for it. You should fight on it.
00:20:44.000 But to be perfectly honest, I think that it destroys your soul every time that you comply with their nonsense.
00:20:51.000 But God bless you and thank you for being a lifelong learner.
00:20:54.000 Thank you. Do you owe back taxes?
00:20:59.000 Still haven't filed your tax returns?
00:21:01.000 Did you forget to file an extension?

00:21:46.000 That is tnusa.com slash charlie.
00:21:51.000 I'm a high school student. I'm a junior, and I'm thinking about going to college, so I hope I don't have a similar experience as that woman had.
00:22:01.000 And I have questions about the health care, the public health here in the United States.
00:22:08.000 Sorry, I'm going to pull out my notes.
00:22:11.000 My father was actually...
00:22:13.000 He's currently working in healthcare benefits.
00:22:15.000 And he doesn't have a clear political ideology about this, but he works a lot with the direct statistics about this.
00:22:22.000 So I can trust a lot of what he says about this, which...
00:22:27.000 For example, in healthcare in all of the developed countries, regardless of people's incomes, there is a lot of free public healthcare.
00:22:39.000 And the fact that it has better outcomes and it costs less in other developed countries than the United States, Is, I think, something that we need to work on.
00:22:48.000 And so, in your opinion, why do you think the United States continues to resist such a model of the healthcare system?
00:22:56.000 Yeah, it's a great question. What's your name again?
00:22:57.000 Luca. Luca, thank you.
00:22:58.000 So, first of all, this is why I'm so excited that Bobby Kennedy is joining Donald Trump to make America healthy again.
00:23:04.000 So there's two conversations when it comes to healthcare.
00:23:07.000 There's treatment and then there's causes.
00:23:09.000 And we never talk about causes.
00:23:11.000 So causes would be the poisons that we're giving our kids and the food.
00:23:15.000 And for example, half of our 15-year-olds are chronically obese in America.
00:23:21.000 Three percent of 15-year-olds in Japan are chronically obese.
00:23:24.000 Something is wrong.
00:23:25.000 And it starts with the food that we are feeding our kids, of high fructose corn syrup, of
00:23:29.000 Lunchables, of heavy carbohydrates.
00:23:32.000 We are actively poisoning our kids of stuff that is banned in other countries, by the
00:23:36.000 way.
00:23:37.000 It's banned in Germany.
00:23:38.000 It's banned in Denmark.
00:23:39.000 It's banned in European countries.
00:23:40.000 So our kids are actually dealing from a nutritional deficit that other countries don't have.
00:23:45.000 Number two, when it comes to causes, we look way too quickly at drugs for our solution
00:23:50.000 when lifestyle changes and diet is a much better holistic solution to fix some of our
00:23:56.000 underlying issues.
00:23:57.000 For example, Congress is about to approve Ozembic to be on the Medicaid schedule, which
00:24:02.000 will cost us a trillion dollars a year because they say obesity is now the new disease and
00:24:07.000 it is genetic and you can't solve it.
00:24:09.000 I'm sorry. Maybe before we give people Ozembic, we should tell them to start walking three miles a day and get out of their house and eat better than just injecting themselves with some Danish drug.
00:24:20.000 And then I'll get to the second part of your question in a second.
00:24:23.000 And so we have to talk about root causes, which is a healthier approach to life, which is more movement, more activity, and better food.
00:24:30.000 When it comes to treatment, though, we are very, very good in America when it comes to acute treatment.
00:24:37.000 I agree. So let me just explain what that means.
00:24:40.000 So acute, we're the best in the world.
00:24:42.000 If you guys have a heart attack right now, you know, God forbid, a gunshot wound, we have the best immediate care on the planet.
00:24:48.000 So our hospitals are trained to make sure you live.
00:24:51.000 We have the worst in the Western world when it comes to chronic.
00:24:55.000 When it comes to chronic, which is autoimmune disease, Lyme disease, ulcerative choleritis, we're really bad at that because we don't get to root causes.
00:25:02.000 Do you have a point you want to take? Yeah, I totally agree with you with that.
00:25:05.000 My dad, in fact, has told me many times that like you can go to the hospital, you get totally treated.
00:25:10.000 But let's say you live in Hamilton and you're dealing with rural health care.
00:25:14.000 It's terrible. These costs are just so much, which is kind of what I was asking you.
00:25:19.000 Why do you think that they're so high?
00:25:21.000 Why do you think these prescription drugs are so high?
00:25:23.000 And why do you think that we still have a system like this?
00:25:25.000 Is it is it not just a political ideology or is it something like a bipartisan effort that we need to solve as a country as a whole?
00:25:33.000 First of all, there's too much demand for drugs because we resort to drugs when lifestyle changes could otherwise fit.
00:25:39.000 So therefore, the price of drugs go up.
00:25:41.000 That's number one. Number two, this is a much deeper and wonkier conversation, but it's very, very expensive to become a doctor in this country.
00:25:48.000 In my opinion, we should reserve doctors as specialists.
00:25:51.000 When nurse practitioners could deal with 90 to 95% of things, but otherwise you have to go see a doctor to be able.
00:25:58.000 You guys probably sympathize with that, right?
00:25:59.000 And a doctor is selling you his prescription pad.
00:26:02.000 That's all he's doing, right?
00:26:04.000 Oh, you have these symptoms. Take these two drugs.
00:26:06.000 Thanks so much. 800 bucks later, right?
00:26:08.000 So the solution is to open it up for more nurse practitioners or people that have medical
00:26:14.000 training, but they might not have to get all the schooling or the debt.
00:26:18.000 So here's the problem is a doctor has to have what $300,000 in medical debt.
00:26:22.000 They have to justify a higher salary to pay off their medical debt.
00:26:25.000 You guys all pay more.
00:26:27.000 If you guys, for example, have coded 90% of the time, you don't need to see a doctor,
00:26:31.000 You might need some drugs, but a nurse can diagnose you pretty quickly with a COVID test, look at your symptoms.
00:26:36.000 Now, if they last and they continue, then maybe you can go see a doctor.
00:26:41.000 So it's a longer conversation.
00:26:42.000 Our healthcare system is awful, and also the hospital lobby is too strong.
00:26:45.000 Sorry, one more, I guess, rebuttal to that.
00:26:48.000 I actually do speech in a vase, so this is really fun for me to talk with you.
00:26:53.000 And basically, I guess, in regards to that, it's not exactly just because people are buying so many drugs that they're so expensive.
00:27:02.000 It's also because of the companies themselves, because it's a, as we know, it's a private versus a public healthcare system.
00:27:08.000 And definitely, like, these private healthcare companies can gouge up these prices.
00:27:14.000 And so I think it's the responsibility of the government.
00:27:16.000 Maybe. That we are free market people, but our current private drug companies want to sell you something for the rest of your life and not actually get you healthier.
00:27:47.000 So would the government do it better?
00:27:48.000 Maybe. I'm open-minded to it.
00:27:50.000 Probably not, because I think big government sucks, as I've said my entire career.
00:27:53.000 But we also shouldn't act as if Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson& Johnson are there to make you healthy.
00:28:00.000 They want you on drugs for the rest of your life.
00:28:03.000 They want you on six prescriptions.
00:28:05.000 How you fix that?
00:28:07.000 I think Bobby Kennedy being part of Donald Trump's a good start.
00:28:09.000 Thank you very much. Appreciate it. Thank you.
00:28:14.000 If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.

00:29:12.000 Hello, Charlie. My name is Sergio.
00:29:14.000 I'm from Spain, so part of my English.
00:29:17.000 I have a couple questions.
00:29:18.000 Your English is great. Thank you.
00:29:20.000 I've been studying a lot. Anyway, so my first question is, you've previously called universities a scam.
00:29:26.000 You even have a book about it.
00:29:28.000 Then why do you continue to do tours and speak at them?
00:29:31.000 Could you clarify this apparent contradiction?
00:29:34.000 Yes, absolutely. So I believe college is a scam.
00:29:36.000 I believe you college students are being scammed.
00:29:39.000 So we at Turning Point are on a rescue mission to save as many students as possible from the woke mind virus to make sure you guys know you're not alone and you can live in a better and free society.
00:29:49.000 So you students are, that's who I'm talking to, right?
00:29:52.000 But to be very clear, why do I believe college is a scam?
00:29:56.000 Half of you guys, if you graduate with a four-year degree, If you graduate, will not use your degree when you get a job.
00:30:02.000 Half. Do you guys know that?
00:30:04.000 That half of all college graduates end up not using their degree even when they get a job that doesn't require a college degree.
00:30:11.000 Secondly, the national graduation rate is 59%, so 41% of people that enter college do not graduate.
00:30:18.000 And then finally is the cost.
00:30:20.000 What is out-of-state tuition here at University of Montana?
00:30:25.000 20 grand? That is low compared to most schools.
00:30:28.000 What is in-state? Is it nursing in-state or out-of-state?
00:30:35.000 That's actually not bad. It's still a lot of money, but with room board, I bet it's closer to 30, right?
00:30:40.000 And so that's actually some of the lower in the country.
00:30:44.000 But said differently, and I'll say this as simply as I can, we have a generation of young people that's borrowing a bunch of money to study things that don't matter, to find jobs that don't exist.
00:30:52.000 Okay. Also, like a couple minutes ago, you were referring about, you quoted how taxes, like Trump is going to stand that no taxes, so people will have more money on their pockets.
00:31:06.000 But don't you think that will make a social difference?
00:31:09.000 Because actually what you're saying is that if there's no money on the...
00:31:14.000 Government, then they cannot help minorities or people that, for example, cross the border that do it because they don't have any, like, how do you say, like food, money, resources.
00:31:27.000 Thank you. You're doing great.
00:31:29.000 And also, don't you think that if money from taxes would go to the government, they wouldn't help lower down the...
00:31:38.000 The school tuition. Because, for example, in Spain, going to college a year is like only $1,400.
00:31:45.000 Yeah, okay. So two things. I'm curious.
00:31:47.000 Did you go to college in Spain?
00:31:48.000 Yeah, yeah. I'm in my senior year, and I'm studying abroad right now.
00:31:51.000 Oh, very good. And so how much do you pay in taxes, though, in Spain, would you say?
00:31:55.000 To be honest, I'm not really sure.
00:31:57.000 You mean on like food?
00:31:59.000 Well, you have a VAT tax.
00:32:00.000 We have like 21% sales tax.
00:32:03.000 But that actually helps to lower down.
00:32:07.000 Would you guys like a 21% sales tax?
00:32:09.000 I'm not picking on you.
00:32:11.000 This is the American versus the Spanish argument.
00:32:13.000 And it's a very good point you make.
00:32:15.000 I'm not picking on you, Sergio.
00:32:16.000 Which is that in Spain, there's a belief I'm okay paying more of my money to the government because I'll get services back.
00:32:24.000 The American belief is, wait, it's my money.
00:32:27.000 Let me keep my money.
00:32:29.000 I'll make better decisions than the government will.
00:32:31.000 And so we just have a disagreement of worldview.
00:32:34.000 And so you are correct.
00:32:35.000 In Spain, the sticker price is lower, $1,400.
00:32:39.000 But you pay a lot more in taxes, more in income tax, more in sales tax, so on and so forth.
00:32:44.000 And so the belief system we have, you say, well, the government will not be able to do all these things.
00:32:49.000 Well, yes, we believe that the government actually has far overreached what its role is, and that you, the citizen, should actually be able to keep more of your money.
00:32:59.000 How do we help the disadvantaged in this country?
00:33:01.000 Of course, we want a safety net, but most important, we want charities, we want churches, we want individuals helping individuals.
00:33:08.000 We don't always want to look to the government to be able to step up and help our fellow men.
00:33:15.000 Do you just quote it?
00:33:16.000 Last question, yeah.
00:33:18.000 I have two more, sorry.
00:33:20.000 Do you just quote it? I'll make better, like you believe that people will make better decisions.
00:33:25.000 Yes. But if you're encouraging people to vote for Trump, like in a government, shouldn't you be trusting what Trump will make with your money?
00:33:31.000 Well, not necessarily. I mean, Trump represents a five million person federal government if he becomes president.
00:33:38.000 But even if it's Trump as president, I still think, you know, what's your name?
00:33:42.000 Cash. What's your name? Mason.
00:33:44.000 Cash and Mason might want to do something different with their money than the government.
00:33:48.000 He might want to go buy, you know, a new rifle to go hunting.
00:33:51.000 He might not like hunting.
00:33:52.000 The point is that there is individual nuance and complexity to all of our lives
00:33:58.000 and that putting more money in your pocket...
00:34:01.000 Mason. It allows you to have the agency to do that, not just government being able to tell you what to do, right?
00:34:07.000 And so that is in lockstep with the American tradition of when it comes to, it's first and foremost our money, not the government's money.
00:34:15.000 Final question, yes. My final question is that in Spain, where I'm from, different political parties have representation in the House of Representatives based on the number of votes that they receive.
00:34:25.000 With your tour, books, podcasts and interviews, you're aiming to spread and promote your political view.
00:34:31.000 Do you think adopting a system like one in Spain, where various voices are represented proportionally, would help unify different forces, encourage discussion and lead to more compromise instead of fostering devised arguments?
00:34:44.000 No, and with all due respect to you, the Spanish political system is a mess.
00:34:47.000 I think you can agree with that, right?
00:34:50.000 I mean, it's constant bedlam, protests in the streets.
00:34:53.000 You've got part of your country that wants to secede, right?
00:34:56.000 I mean, it's not exactly, I'd say, a stable political system.
00:35:00.000 So, no, I like the American system.
00:35:02.000 Thank you, Sergio. Appreciate it.
00:35:04.000 God bless you. Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
