00:01:24.000 Happy Friday.
00:01:25.000 We are 18 days out from the last day of voting.
00:01:27.000 We have 18 election days from now to Tuesday.
00:01:31.000 Yesterday we had an epic day in Arizona.
00:01:35.000 Kudos to Donald Trump Jr., who is a true patriot.
00:01:38.000 This guy took an early morning flight from the East Coast, landed around 10 a.m., and did an event every hour on the hour.
00:01:44.000 We had events in Mason.
00:01:45.000 We had events in Queen Creek.
00:01:47.000 We had events at Arizona State University.
00:01:48.000 We had events in Tempe.
00:01:49.000 We had events everywhere.
00:01:51.000 He was out later doing events than I was yesterday.
00:01:55.000 And so yesterday we went and did our Superchase events in Queen Creek and Mesa, which are the deployments to go chase ballots.
00:02:02.000 It is the beginning of the strategy to win election month.
00:02:10.000 After that, we did an event on campus.
00:02:12.000 Let's show the picture of us on campus yesterday at Arizona State University.
00:02:16.000 Thousands and thousands of students That we're attending our on-campus event at Arizona State University.
00:02:23.000 After that, we then went to more Super Chase events, and then we did an evening event with Donald Trump Jr.
00:02:29.000 right on campus there at ASU at the Omni Hotel, which I'm sure we can throw up a picture of that of.
00:02:34.000 And then after that, we did a very unique event.
00:02:38.000 An event that shows, and by the way, it's consistent with some recent polling.
00:02:44.000 The evidence for a big youth gender gap, as we've been saying on this program, New York Times writes, young men are much more Republican than young women.
00:02:52.000 The best data suggests and may wind up backing Republicans.
00:02:55.000 Donald Trump.
00:02:56.000 Mr.
00:02:57.000 Trump leads Harris among young men 58% to 37% across the last three New York Times Siena polls.
00:03:05.000 Now, Ms.
00:03:05.000 Harris holds an even larger lead with young women, 67% to 28%.
00:03:10.000 Now, we'll have plenty of time of unpacking why young women are supporting Kamala Harris so enthusiastically.
00:03:18.000 That's for a different time.
00:03:19.000 But, of course, these young women do not understand that they are voting to destroy their own future and the country.
00:03:25.000 And to the young men credit, they are looking far in the distance that they want an actual country they can live in.
00:03:31.000 Young ladies don't seem that interested in that.
00:03:32.000 Ms.
00:03:33.000 Harris is, however, faring no better than Joe Biden did among young men in the Times-Sietta data, even though she's made significant gains among young women.
00:03:41.000 If this enormous gender gap among young voters holds, it'll be one of the most important developments of the election season, one that would at once clarify a surprising trend and perhaps even change how we understand gender and cultural dynamics in America today.
00:03:52.000 Understand, us losing young women is not a good thing, but if young men almost offset it, that means that, by definition, Kamala Harris would only win the youth vote by like 18 or 20 points, which would be a seismic change versus prior election cycles.
00:04:07.000 Now, what you're looking up on screen there is a BYOB event that we did at Turning Point Action last night.
00:04:14.000 Nope, not bring your own beer, not bring your own beverage.
00:04:17.000 No, no, no, no.
00:04:18.000 Bring your own ballot.
00:04:21.000 This is a one-of-a-kind turning point action deployment event where we had our staffers plan an event with Don Jr.
00:04:30.000 in the evening on the campus of Arizona State University.
00:04:32.000 Let's show that B-roll, guys, where we were able to facilitate over 280 first-time voters for Donald Trump that submitted their ballot right there at the BYOB event.
00:04:46.000 They came with their ballots.
00:04:48.000 From frat houses, from sorority houses, from apartment complexes, condominiums.
00:04:53.000 We are making it cool to vote for Trump.
00:04:56.000 I want you guys to understand this.
00:04:57.000 This is not just a big event and vibes and energy.
00:05:00.000 This is now banked votes for Donald Trump in an area that Kamala Harris needs to run up the score.
00:05:06.000 Look at how long the lines were.
00:05:07.000 People were bringing in their ballots.
00:05:10.000 There is no other organization in the country that is mobilizing low-prop first-time voters and getting their votes into the system like Turning Point Action.
00:05:20.000 In fact, let's show the video, guys, of actually outside of the Dropbox.
00:05:25.000 These are first-time voters, by the way.
00:05:27.000 These are people that have never voted before.
00:05:29.000 Look right there.
00:05:29.000 There's a Dropbox.
00:05:30.000 Boom.
00:05:31.000 That is a vote.
00:05:32.000 Boom.
00:05:32.000 That is a vote.
00:05:33.000 These are first-time voters.
00:05:33.000 These are people that have never voted for.
00:05:35.000 These are new voters into the system.
00:05:38.000 Boom.
00:05:38.000 A vote for Trump.
00:05:40.000 Understand, we as conservatives have never done this type of work before.
00:05:44.000 This is work that was not done in 2020, that was not done in 2020.
00:05:50.000 2016, this is exactly the type of work that is necessary to win this election.
00:05:57.000 124, you see the crowds that are lining there.
00:06:00.000 280 first-time voters.
00:06:02.000 You see, Kamala Harris is already dealing from not a great place right now.
00:06:07.000 This is the surge that is necessary.
00:06:09.000 And let me tell you right now, if these college kids who have never voted before can get their ballot in a box...
00:06:16.000 If these college kids can get out and get their friends to go vote.
00:06:20.000 By the way, this is not a rock concert line.
00:06:21.000 This is a line to go vote.
00:06:23.000 To go submit your ballot.
00:06:25.000 And then to be able to go into BYOB. This is not to go see Taylor Swift.
00:06:29.000 This is not to go see the Arizona Cardinals.
00:06:31.000 No, no, no.
00:06:31.000 There's something profound happening here.
00:06:33.000 And I want to reemphasize the point.
00:06:35.000 It's easy to get lost in all these videos and pictures that I've shown you before.
00:06:39.000 What is more important to understand, this is real votes, everybody.
00:06:44.000 This is not polls.
00:06:46.000 This is not even voter registration.
00:06:48.000 These are now banked, secured votes for Donald J. Trump.
00:06:53.000 And mind you, these are voters that may or may not have showed up if you just have one day of voting.
00:06:57.000 You have one day of voting, college kids, they might sleep in late, they might forget.
00:07:01.000 No, no, no.
00:07:01.000 Turning Point Action is getting their ballots into the system.
00:07:06.000 Because remember, this election will be won or lost, not on who wins the debate.
00:07:08.000 We've already won the debate.
00:07:09.000 We win on every issue except abortion.
00:07:11.000 No.
00:07:12.000 This issue will be won or lost based on who is able to mobilize our voters and get their ballots into the system.
00:07:24.000 Now let me tell you some other good news.
00:07:25.000 Can we please show the picture of our event last night at the Omni Hotel?
00:07:30.000 This is what's also very promising.
00:07:32.000 So last evening, we hosted all these events, and we had Donald Trump Jr.
00:07:36.000 at several events, one of which was at the Omni.
00:07:40.000 And this was not necessarily a student-focused event, nor did we plan it to be.
00:07:44.000 But there was about half students, half regular, everyday adult patriots.
00:07:48.000 And it was both encouraging but also motivating.
00:07:52.000 But not surprising.
00:07:54.000 So let me just set the context.
00:07:55.000 We are currently beating Democrats in early voting in Arizona.
00:08:00.000 Now that's going to taper.
00:08:01.000 It's going to taper.
00:08:02.000 I'm going to say right now, it's going to taper.
00:08:04.000 It's going to go down.
00:08:05.000 It's going to tighten.
00:08:06.000 So get ready for that.
00:08:07.000 But we're beating them in early voting.
00:08:10.000 So we had this event at the Omni Hotel.
00:08:14.000 And I was not sure what to expect right there.
00:08:16.000 And I asked the audience, raise your hand if you have voted yet.
00:08:21.000 And I would say 10% of the room raised their hand.
00:08:25.000 Now mind you, that is motivating because we've got to get them out to the polls.
00:08:29.000 But these are high, high propensity voters.
00:08:32.000 These are people that will crawl over glass to go vote for Trump.
00:08:37.000 What I'm getting at, though, is that if we're beating the Democrats already in early voting, what that sample size showed me at the Omni Hotel is that our best and most reliable voters haven't engaged yet.
00:08:51.000 And that is very, very encouraging.
00:08:55.000 Said otherwise, what Turning Point Action is doing in Arizona to get out the vote of low propensity voters is Means that we are now competing and beating Democrats in early voting with people that otherwise may not have showed up at all.
00:09:10.000 And our best voters have not even dipped a toe into this election yet.
00:09:15.000 What do I mean by best voters?
00:09:17.000 These are the people that will wait five hours in a rally line.
00:09:19.000 They'll donate money.
00:09:20.000 They'll put ten bucks.
00:09:21.000 They'll buy the MAGA hat.
00:09:21.000 These are the five out of four propensity voters.
00:09:25.000 You watch this program.
00:09:26.000 You're a high propensity voter.
00:09:28.000 And I ask how many of you voted.
00:09:29.000 I thought maybe half the hands would go up.
00:09:31.000 I would say only 10% of the hands go up.
00:09:34.000 That means that the high propensity cavalry is coming if we can close the deal with low propensity voters.
00:09:41.000 The high propensity cavalry has not even begun to engage yet.
00:09:46.000 In Arizona right now, Republicans, 72,000 of which, have voted early.
00:09:51.000 Democrats, 53,000 have voted early.
00:09:53.000 And then 10,000 independent or nonpartisan.
00:09:56.000 That means that, and by the way, we have chased over 10,000 early low propensity ballots in just the first week of early voting.
00:10:03.000 That means 14% of all Republican ballots submitted so far were because of turning point action ballot chasers and those videos that you saw.
00:10:12.000 But we must accelerate the surge.
00:10:16.000 By the way, just so you understand, 40% of all Arizona households don't even have their ballots yet.
00:10:22.000 I don't either.
00:10:23.000 We have plenty of dry powder left.
00:10:25.000 We have to go find every low propensity voter during early month and bank our votes to save the country.
00:10:34.000 What happens when the power's out, your phone says no service, and the grid is down?
00:10:38.000 Do you have a backup plan?

00:11:22.000 There's so much meat on the bone and what we have to do is to keep on drive out new voters to the polls.
00:11:28.000 Yesterday was the first day of voting in North Carolina.
00:11:32.000 Of course, North Carolina was flooded terribly, especially in western North Carolina.
00:11:38.000 North Carolina has had a very, very difficult couple weeks and has been abandoned by FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
00:11:47.000 In Western North Carolina, despite homes being destroyed, despite widespread and mass flooding, we saw that some of the counties that performed the highest in turnout yesterday in North Carolina were those that were most significantly affected by the flooding.
00:12:07.000 That was the most significant affected by the flooding were the ones that were most willing to go and vote.
00:12:14.000 You see, this is a survival This is a question of survival right now on the ground in the great state of North Carolina.
00:12:24.000 We're seeing similar trends in Georgia.
00:12:26.000 You see long lines of early voting in North Carolina.
00:12:30.000 You see, this surge that we are seeing is the pent-up demand of the patriotic core and backbone of America to want to save it.
00:12:40.000 But it's going to require every single one of us to continue to do the work.
00:12:45.000 It's 18 days of work remaining.
00:12:47.000 18 days of getting our circle out to vote.
00:12:53.000 Let's get this up here, by the way.
00:12:54.000 This is the early voting map in Georgia, which is very similar.
00:12:58.000 The early voting map in Georgia.
00:12:59.000 The reddest colors on this show that they are the hottest of the performing counties.
00:13:05.000 Do you see how little blue there is?
00:13:09.000 Hot as a pistol.
00:13:10.000 The rural counties in Georgia, that have a lot of population, by the way, are roaring.
00:13:17.000 Georgia is a beast of a state.
00:13:19.000 A beast of a state.
00:13:21.000 But the work must continue.
00:13:23.000 I want you guys to know right now that the deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania is October 21st.
00:13:29.000 You have four days left to register in the great state of Pennsylvania.
00:13:34.000 North Carolina, early voting, so far as this.
00:13:37.000 Gaston County, which is a typical Democrat county, was down 10% in turnout yesterday, up 7% for Republicans.
00:13:46.000 Brunswick, which is a traditional Democrat county, down 10% from Democrats, 9% for Republicans.
00:13:53.000 New Hanover, another Democrat county, down 4% for Democrats, up 3.5% for Republicans.
00:13:59.000 Wake County, down 11% for Democrats, up 5% for Republicans.
00:14:04.000 Guilford County, down 18% for Democrats, up 10% for Republicans.
00:14:09.000 Durham, down 7% for Democrats, 2.5% for Republicans.
00:14:12.000 Now, mind you, this is early, early, early, and it means nothing if we don't sustain it.
00:14:19.000 It means nothing.
00:14:20.000 Now this is real empirical data.
00:14:22.000 These are polls that count.
00:14:24.000 This is not Quinnipiac or New York Times, Siena.
00:14:27.000 If we sustain this surge, we have them on defense right now.
00:14:32.000 But it means nothing.
00:14:33.000 It means absolutely nothing if we do not continue it.
00:14:37.000 Let's play a piece of tape here of ABC News.
00:14:41.000 59% of Americans believe the economy is getting worse.
00:14:45.000 Play cut four.
00:14:46.000 Some 59% of Americans say they believe the economy is getting worse compared to just 23% who say it's getting better, with more Americans trusting Trump to handle the economy if he wins a second term.
00:15:01.000 You see, on the fundamental and core issues, We're winning.
00:15:06.000 This is no longer a persuasion election.
00:15:09.000 This is going to be about who can dig deeper.
00:15:11.000 Who wants it?
00:15:13.000 You know, famously, you'll see football teams put up the number four.
00:15:17.000 Fourth quarter.
00:15:18.000 That is it right now.
00:15:19.000 You are in the middle of fourth quarter.
00:15:20.000 I know people are fatigued.
00:15:21.000 I know you are exhausted.
00:15:24.000 I know that it is wearing a lot of you down and say, when will this be over?
00:15:28.000 It's over when we win and they lose.
00:15:31.000 And we have Tom Brady with the ball.
00:15:32.000 We got Michael Jordan with the ball.
00:15:34.000 We got the best closers in the history of politics.
00:15:38.000 This weekend we have events all across the country.
00:15:40.000 We have dozens of Superchase events.
00:15:42.000 Not just events.
00:15:43.000 We are going to be contacting personally tens of thousands of low-prop voters and this weekend it is our goal in just Arizona.
00:15:49.000 To chase thousands of low-prop votes.
00:15:51.000 You can all do the same.
00:15:53.000 This is the participant election, not the spectator election.
00:15:56.000 In 2020, you might have just looked at things from afar, 2016.
00:15:59.000 So where does it start?
00:16:01.000 Owning your circle.
00:16:03.000 Nieces, nephews, kids, grandkids, neighbors, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, welders, people you know.
00:16:10.000 Write down a ton of those names this weekend and own them.
00:16:15.000 Be responsible for them.
00:16:16.000 Send a couple text messages.
00:16:18.000 Hey, have you voted?
00:16:19.000 Can I help you?
00:16:20.000 Can I drive you to the polls?
00:16:21.000 Do you have any questions about it?
00:16:23.000 18 days.
00:16:24.000 There's 18 days of voting remaining.
00:16:27.000 Every day you should be chasing ballots.
00:16:29.000 Own your circle.
00:16:30.000 Find your 10.
00:16:30.000 This weekend, work on it.
00:16:32.000 It's so simple.
00:16:33.000 Again, I'm not asking you guys to go storm Normandy Beach.
00:16:35.000 I'm just saying very simple, very precisely.
00:16:37.000 Who are the 10 people in your life that you could have an impact in?
00:16:42.000 Obviously your wife, kids, your grandkids, nieces, nephews, in-laws.
00:16:47.000 Have those conversations this weekend, guys.
00:16:49.000 And then send out the text messages.
00:16:51.000 Okay, joining us now is Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch and author of Rights and Freedoms in Peril.
00:16:58.000 Tom, welcome back to the program.
00:16:59.000 Great to see you.
00:16:59.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:17:00.000 Good to be with you again.
00:17:01.000 How are you?
00:17:01.000 I'm good.
00:17:02.000 We're in the trenches fighting every day.
00:17:03.000 Tell us about your new book, Tom.
00:17:05.000 Yeah, Rights and Freedoms in Peril is out this week.
00:17:07.000 It's a book America needs, and frankly, Americans need to read before the election, because we talk about many of the issues at stake during this election, so it's educational in that regard.
00:17:20.000 And I'm nervous about the election, how it's going to be run, whether it's going to be honestly run.
00:17:25.000 And this book details the secrets they don't want you to know about what happened in 2020 and how those fundamental issues that compromise the 2020 election may still emerge in 2024 and what can be done about it.
00:17:40.000 Things can be done about it.
00:17:41.000 And the left is completely opposed to it.
00:17:45.000 And I despair in the sense of how little needs to be done to fix elections, but also I'm hopeful because so little needs to be done to make elections so much cleaner.
00:17:56.000 Yeah, so let's talk about that.
00:17:59.000 Have there been any improvements that you guys at Judicial Watch have been able to achieve on voter integrity since 2020?
00:18:07.000 Oh, you betcha.
00:18:08.000 It's just the last year and a half, two years, Judicial Watch's litigation cleaned up 4 million dirty names from the rolls, meaning people who shouldn't be on the rolls.
00:18:18.000 It's a huge amount.
00:18:19.000 And we're in court still in Illinois and California to clean up the rolls.
00:18:23.000 We may sue in Oregon, frankly, any minute.
00:18:27.000 They've got the dirtiest rolls in the nation, as best I can tell.
00:18:31.000 So the Justice Department, of course, has been AWOL on this because they don't want the rolls to be cleaned.
00:18:37.000 They're run by Democrats, and they have an interest in dirty voting rolls because dirty voting rolls Provide a pool of voters that fraudsters can use to vote.
00:18:50.000 And so we've been alone in doing this heavy lifting.
00:18:54.000 And you see in the news just in the last week, the Justice Department, rather than cleaning up the rolls, comes in, abuses the law to sue Virginia to tell them that federal law requires them to keep non-citizens on the rolls.
00:19:08.000 This is extraordinary stuff, but I do want to emphasize one thing, everybody, which is voter rolls sounds wonky.
00:19:14.000 Okay, voter rolls.
00:19:15.000 Voter rolls is without a doubt the most important legal fight because dirty voter rolls is the original sin in erroneous mail-in ballots being received and then mail-in ballots then being counted.
00:19:30.000 And this is what's very important.
00:19:32.000 Is that if someone is just looking at the ballot tabulation from the time the ballots are received at its final point of contact, they'll say, oh, these are all real ballots.
00:19:41.000 There's no voter fraud.
00:19:43.000 But hold on, they might be legitimately processed ballots, but illegitimately sent out in the sense that they're being sent out to people that have moved, that have died, that are two or three times registered.
00:19:54.000 Can you walk through that?
00:19:56.000 How dirty voter rolls are the original sin of broken elections?
00:20:01.000 You highlight when you have mass mailing of ballots and you have voters who shouldn't be there, there's a good chance voters who have moved away or who are dead are going to get ballots in the mail.
00:20:16.000 Or there's a chance because the names have been old and people know and fraudsters track this, the parties track this, it's available to everyone who's voted recently, who's likely moved away, and just and just because you're inactive and haven't voted for a long time, you're still on the registration list and votes can be made in your name.
00:20:39.000 So if there's no voter ID, or as you point out, the balloting takes place away from the voting place, meaning unsupervised voting through the mail, it's much easier to get away with fraud voting in someone else's name.
00:20:53.000 And we don't have to prove whether it happens or not.
00:20:55.000 That's the risk, and that's why the law requires the states take reasonable steps to clean up the rolls.
00:21:01.000 The left doesn't want to do anything reasonable to curtail voter fraud, Or the concern that Americans have that, what do you mean you're not taking dead people off the rolls?
00:21:12.000 Are you expecting us to believe the election is going to be honest if that's the case?
00:21:16.000 They don't want to clean them up.
00:21:18.000 And as I said, the Justice Department and the left fight us.
00:21:21.000 Well, in this case, the left fights us tooth and nail.
00:21:25.000 All these Soros operations, all these Mark Elias type groups are coming in and trying to stop us from cleaning up the rolls.
00:21:32.000 And on top of it, The other big issue I think this year, Charlie, and I'd be interested in your views on this, is the counting of ballots after Election Day.
00:21:42.000 I don't think it should happen at all.
00:21:44.000 In the least, counting ballots that arrive after Election Day is anathema.
00:21:50.000 And the federal law sets an Election Day.
00:21:53.000 Taking ballots in after Election Day and counting them is obviously contrary to law.
00:21:59.000 But 18, 19 states do it.
00:22:02.000 We have a big sick case in Mississippi.
00:22:04.000 They count ballots that arrive for five days after election.
00:22:08.000 In Illinois, they allow ballots to come in for up to two weeks after Election Day.
00:22:14.000 California, it's seven days.
00:22:16.000 And you know, those states, you may say, may not impact presidential campaigns, but they certainly impact other campaigns as well.
00:22:24.000 Plus, it undermines voter confidence.
00:22:26.000 Counting ballots after Election Day invites voter fraud, undermines voter confidence, and I would argue is illegal.

00:23:27.000 The voter confidence is what I want to emphasize because there's so much sneakery that happens here.
00:23:32.000 But, you know, in my home state of Arizona here, it takes a week and a half for us to get a final tally.
00:23:38.000 And therefore, an independent observer is just begging the question, what is going on here?
00:23:44.000 And here's the issue.
00:23:46.000 Arizona does have early canvassing.
00:23:49.000 So they're able to early cam...
00:23:51.000 And they still can't get all the votes counted on election night, Tom.
00:23:55.000 They still can't, because this is how screwed up our system is, is that they allow...
00:24:00.000 It's not screwed up.
00:24:02.000 That's purposeful, don't you think?
00:24:04.000 Yeah, I mean...
00:24:05.000 Is it a capacity?
00:24:06.000 It seems as if there is a goal towards chaos that, again, I independently am saying it's screwed up just from analyzing it, but it's...
00:24:14.000 No, I hear you.
00:24:15.000 But no, but again, it's the question of, is it fixed or is it fixed?
00:24:19.000 Right.
00:24:20.000 So it's the fixed can be have two different words.
00:24:23.000 So so they've structured the voting process in places like Arizona or up in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania to make it easier to steal the election if need be.
00:24:34.000 So if you normalize the counting of ballots after Election Day, boy, that sure makes it easier for fraudsters to come in and manipulate the outcome.
00:24:45.000 And I don't care if voters get nervous about it, because it's all about winning.
00:24:50.000 And, you know, I've seen three or four stories in the Washington Post.
00:24:53.000 CBS News was pushing this garbage out as well.
00:24:56.000 Oh, we won't know who won on election night.
00:25:00.000 Remember, in 2020, Pennsylvania took four days to count their ballots.
00:25:04.000 Well, that's not right.
00:25:06.000 It's not legal.
00:25:07.000 And it ought to be not normal nor accepted.
00:25:10.000 And I tell you, if President Trump doesn't have...
00:25:14.000 In 2020, he had the votes to win on election night.
00:25:18.000 And that result was changed as a result of unprecedented, I would argue, unlawful counting that occurred for days after Election Day.
00:25:26.000 And I tell you, if we don't know who won on election night, I think it's going to be very unpleasant in terms of what the outcomes are in terms of voter confidence.
00:25:38.000 Look, here's the reality, though.
00:25:40.000 We're not doing this to demoralize you.
00:25:41.000 In fact, we're trying to tell you that because of Judicial Watch, that roles have been cleaned up.
00:25:45.000 We do outnumber them, and this should motivate you even more to go and vote.
00:25:49.000 But we want to make sure you guys understand the terrain, and I think our audience understands that.
00:25:54.000 Let's play Governor Youngkin here from Virginia.
00:25:56.000 Play cut 142.
00:25:57.000 That bill was signed in 2006, and it requires us to use DMV data Where people self-identify as non-citizens to then go through a process of removing them from the voter rolls if they're on the voter rolls.
00:26:13.000 And guess what?
00:26:14.000 That's exactly what we've been doing.
00:26:16.000 It's been happening for 18 years.
00:26:19.000 Democrat governors, even Terry McAuliffe and Ralph Northam use this process all the way up through into October.
00:26:25.000 And that's exactly what we're doing in Virginia today is someone walks into the DMV. They identify themselves as a non-citizen.
00:26:33.000 Somehow or another, either by accident or by purpose, they register to vote.
00:26:38.000 They're on the voter roll.
00:26:39.000 We go through a process of notifying the registrar that they need to be told that if they cannot affirm their citizenship in 14 days, they're taken off the voter roll.
00:26:48.000 Tom, help us understand all that.
00:26:50.000 So what the government's saying is that you can't have a systemic process or systematic process to remove entire swaths of people from the rolls 90 days out of an election.
00:27:01.000 And what Governor Youngkin is saying, we're not doing that.
00:27:04.000 We're just taking names, name by name.
00:27:06.000 If there's an indicator the person's not registered legally because they're a non-citizen, we follow up and make sure they're not on the rolls.
00:27:15.000 This is the first time that, as best I can tell, that that law to require the cleanup of roles has been used to make sure states don't remove non-citizens from the roles.
00:27:27.000 And I tell you what's going on over at the Justice Department.
00:27:30.000 They're hacks.
00:27:31.000 You know, I have colleagues here in our election law Department, our litigation department, who work there.
00:27:39.000 They will tell you that the Justice Department Civil Rights Division, the Election Integrity Division, as folks popularly know it, are left-wing, Partisan Democrats.
00:27:52.000 And this is a left-wing partisan Democrat move designed not only to stop Virginia from removing non-citizens from the rolls, but it sends a signal to every other election official in the country, you start taking names off the rolls who obviously are not supposed to be there legally because they're non-citizens, we're going to come after you.
00:28:12.000 And if that's not a signal as to what the left wants to happen, which is to make it easier for non-citizens to vote illegally in our elections, that's where the DOC stands three weeks out of the election.
00:28:24.000 Just so we're clear, the federal government is actively suing to keep illegals on the voter rolls.
00:28:29.000 That is treason.
00:28:30.000 That's right.
00:28:31.000 This is as bad as the Fed suing Texas when it tried to protect its own border.
00:28:35.000 Kamala Harris is an active participant in betraying the United States of America.
00:28:40.000 Tom, tell us more about your book and the lack of justice towards the corruption within the federal government especially the last couple of years.
00:28:49.000 You know, we've had this terrible abuse of power under the Biden administration.
00:28:54.000 Of course, it continued the deep state abuses under the Trump administration, largely targeting Trump, but it really truly metastasized under Biden with the lawfare against Trump.
00:29:06.000 And it's not just Trump, it's other innocent American citizens.
00:29:11.000 The FBI was sent to my house to issue me a subpoena, deliver a subpoena to me on judicial watches, activities, holding the Justice Department accountable for attacking Trump, abusing Trump.
00:29:26.000 And they harassed me for hours, Jack Smith's team, before a grand jury arguing with me about politics.
00:29:34.000 As I've joked, it was like being at an MSNBC panel for four hours.
00:29:39.000 Of course, that pales in comparison to what they've done to Trump.
00:29:44.000 And my view is the election has already been compromised by this attack on Trump, this lawfare.
00:29:52.000 Now, will it be enough to change the result in a way that people reject?
00:29:56.000 I don't know.
00:29:57.000 But let's not be naive that this has been about election rigging as much as the excuse they've been using that they're seeking to hold Trump accountable over anything he did wrong in 2020.
00:30:09.000 Which, in fact, he did nothing wrong.
00:30:11.000 He acted perfectly appropriately.
00:30:14.000 So this is a real crisis for our republic because if we start jailing former presidents and political opponents at the drop of a hat, which is what the Biden-Harris people seemingly want to do now, that's the end of our republic as far as I'm concerned.
00:30:29.000 It's not just Trump.
00:30:31.000 Now we see recently, Charlie, they're going after Elon Musk.
00:30:35.000 They've gone after party officials in the various swing states.
00:30:39.000 I'm sure you've seen it, where some of the folks you might have worked with in 2020, you can't work with this year because they're facing criminals.
00:30:47.000 Of course, and the normalization of this, Tom, when I talk to liberals both on campus and off, they'll say, oh, it's just because they commit crimes.
00:30:54.000 I mean, this is the third world we're entering, Tom.
00:30:57.000 These folks are being targeted because they disputed an election under law, as has been done since the beginning of our country.
00:31:05.000 And so That's been the challenge, again, that Trump's campaign has faced in 2024.
00:31:13.000 And there's got to be some accountability for it.
00:31:17.000 And assuming Trump wins, if he does win, I'd recommend he conduct and demand a criminal investigation of what went on in terms of targeting him and these other innocents in the several states.
00:31:30.000 The abuse of power, the targeting of individuals, depriving them of their civil rights under color of law.
00:31:37.000 It's happening right now here in Washington, D.C. with Jack Smith.
00:31:42.000 So, yeah, the Jack Smith thing is, I mean, if Trump were to win, he can disassemble all of that.
00:31:47.000 Is that correct?
00:31:48.000 He can.
00:31:49.000 But, you know, it's not going to stop unless there's accountability.
00:31:55.000 I mean, the deep state isn't gonna stop.
00:31:56.000 I mean, the challenge, and I think what's important about getting this book, Rights and Freedoms in Peril, is that the issues we're talking about don't go away on election day.
00:32:06.000 The left isn't gonna stop trying to destroy Trump and engage in lawfare.
00:32:10.000 The left isn't gonna stop with open borders.
00:32:13.000 The left isn't gonna stop trying to destroy elections.
00:32:16.000 Let alone election integrity.
00:32:19.000 They want to end elections.
00:32:20.000 The left is going to stop pushing forward their effort to destroy America through racial division and strife.
00:32:27.000 All of these issues are going to remain a challenge no matter who is president.
00:32:32.000 And in fact, the challenges might change and increase even if Trump wins, given the recent insanity of the left that's been largely taken over by communists or folks who agree with the communist approach to their political opponents.
00:32:50.000 Jail them and censor them.
00:32:52.000 Tom Fitton, thank you so much.
00:32:54.000 Check out Tom's new book.
00:32:55.000 And Tom, you're a great patriot.
00:32:56.000 Thank you.
00:32:57.000 On that happy note, thank you, Charlie.
00:33:19.000 Ballots are still arriving all across the state of Arizona.
00:33:22.000 Pennsylvania voter registration deadline is up and coming.
00:33:25.000 There's early voting now active in Georgia, North Carolina.
00:33:28.000 Go and vote.
00:33:29.000 Get a plan to do it.
00:33:30.000 Bring a friend.
00:33:31.000 Bring two friends.
00:33:33.000 And once you vote, it's not over, everybody.
00:33:35.000 You have to continue to do the work.
00:33:39.000 We have 18 days of election day.
00:33:42.000 18 election days left till the counting begins.
00:33:45.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:46.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:48.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
