Summary

Tulsi Gabbard, the Democratic National Liaison Director for the 2020 Democratic National Committee, joins us to speak at the University of Arizona's Center for American Progress to discuss her campaign for President in 2020. She also talks about why she's running for President and what it means to be a conservative in a country that's full of hate and division, and how she's fighting for freedom on campuses across the country to defeat the forces that want to destroy our country. Thank you, Tulsi, for coming on The Charlie Kirk Show and for being a voice for common sense and the truth and freedom for all Americans. You're not going to get much better than that in 2020 than that! Tweet me if you have any thoughts on this episode or have any suggestions on how we can improve the show! 00:00:35.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:38.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:42.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:43.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:44.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:01.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:22.000 It's where I buy all of my gold.
00:01:24.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:01:29.000 First of all, wow.
00:01:30.000 It's crazy to see two of the most active conservatives here.
00:01:36.000 And thank you, Mrs. Tulsi, for your service.
00:01:39.000 I appreciate it a lot.
00:01:40.000 I appreciate you for defending our country.
00:01:42.000 Thank you.
00:01:43.000 What's your name?
00:01:44.000 My name is Jew.
00:01:45.000 I like the religion, but I'm a Christian.
00:01:48.000 Do you have to say that a lot?
00:01:50.000 Yeah.
00:01:51.000 I don't know.
00:01:51.000 It's kind of like a signature calling card, but that's just me.
00:01:55.000 So for context for my question, I suffer from anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder.
00:02:00.000 I've been through a lot in my life.
00:02:01.000 I've done good things and I've done bad things.
00:02:04.000 And because of my life experiences, I have a very bad tendency to catastrophize a lot about a lot of things, but more specifically our future.
00:02:13.000 And I look on social media and everywhere I go, and admittedly fake news, but I go everywhere, I look everywhere, and I see a lot of hatred and a lot of division going on from mostly the left, admittedly, but overall it's just a lot of hatred and division going on.
00:02:28.000 And so the question I really want to ask you both is, as men and women of America, as religious people, and as political figures, what inspires you?
00:02:43.000 What inspires you to keep on going and to keep on being optimistic in a country that seems to be so full of hate and political division right now?
00:02:56.000 First of all, I find my hope in God and God's unconditional love for every single one of us.
00:03:04.000 Yeah!
00:03:06.000 So no matter how dark the days may seem, and sometimes there are very dark days, and we face dark times in our future if we don't take action now and in this election, But even in those darkest of times where I find strength,
00:03:24.000 where I find peace, and where I find courage to be a voice for common sense and the truth and freedom for all Americans, it comes from knowing that God's love is eternal and that he will give me that clarity and strength to do the right thing for the right reasons.
00:03:43.000 Thank you.
00:03:45.000 Yeah, and for me, I mean, look around you.
00:03:47.000 This should give you hope for the future.
00:03:49.000 I mean, this is supposed to be on a liberal college campus.
00:03:51.000 And I agree with Tulsi.
00:03:54.000 We must understand that there is a God and we are not him.
00:03:56.000 And that God has a plan and that God loves us.
00:03:59.000 And as a Christian, I believe that that manifested in his son, Jesus Christ, and those who give their life to Jesus Christ.
00:04:04.000 And so, look, we must not grow tired in doing good or noble things.
00:04:09.000 And what an amazing thing.
00:04:10.000 And I'll only correct one thing you say.
00:04:11.000 Okay.
00:04:12.000 Because this is not about conservative or liberal today.
00:04:14.000 I consider myself a conservative.
00:04:16.000 Tulsi at one time ran for president as a Democrat.
00:04:19.000 Everybody, this is a moment that's bigger than politics.
00:04:21.000 Yes.
00:04:22.000 That this is now bigger than whether Charlie's a conservative or Tulsi was co-chair of the DNC. This is about America and defeating the forces that want to destroy our country.
00:04:31.000 That is what this is all about.
00:04:32.000 Let's go!
00:04:32.000 Thank you very much.
00:04:33.000 I just want to say thank you for coming here today.
00:04:36.000 Thank you, Jew.
00:04:37.000 Thank you.
00:04:38.000 Who's up next?
00:04:39.000 Yeah, there you are.
00:04:40.000 Get up there, buddy.
00:04:41.000 Get in there, bro.
00:04:44.000 So, first off, I'd like to personally thank Tulsi Gabbard for destroying Harris' 2020 presidential run.
00:04:53.000 And so this is mainly towards Charlie Kirk, because I sort of know your views.
00:04:58.000 Obviously, the topic of...
00:05:02.000 Of like foreign involvement, US foreign involvement in foreign countries a little contentious with conservatives right now.
00:05:07.000 How would you balance supporting our allies and supporting even if it unfortunately means we have to send troops in with how would you balance that with also working on our internal supporting internal our own people?
00:05:24.000 I think this is actually a better question for Tulsi, if that's okay.
00:05:26.000 This is one of her passion topics, and Tulsi served and serves in our military, and so Tulsi, you want to take that?
00:05:33.000 Yeah, sure.
00:05:34.000 I mean, this is personal for a lot of reasons.
00:05:36.000 I still serve in the Army Reserve.
00:05:37.000 I'm a lieutenant colonel and a battalion commander.
00:05:40.000 I've deployed to three different war zones at different times over the last 20 years.
00:05:44.000 I have friends who are deployed into combat zones today.
00:05:48.000 I know Kamala Harris is not aware of their existence.
00:05:51.000 Stop it.
00:05:52.000 Which is both a sad and disastrous state of affairs that in and of itself disqualifies her to be our commander in chief.
00:06:01.000 But I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who lost both of his legs in combat.
00:06:07.000 And all of us who raise our hands and volunteer to serve in our military are willing to lay our lives down to ensure the safety, security and freedom of the American people.
00:06:17.000 What we do not sign up for is politicians who care more about feeding the military industrial complex and the war machine than they do about our lives, but the safety and security of the American people's lives.
00:06:32.000 What we need are leaders, and this is why I've endorsed President Trump in this election, who will always make those decisions in balancing.
00:06:42.000 You asked a very good question.
00:06:44.000 How do you balance the need for us to engage and stand with our allies and partners and put the American people's interests first?
00:06:53.000 Every decision has to be made within the context of what serves the needs of the American people first.
00:06:59.000 Period.
00:07:00.000 And that includes our national security needs.
00:07:03.000 That includes our liberty and our freedom, which is often on the line when we are in a state of war.
00:07:08.000 The war machine takes advantage of that to try to take away more of our freedom.
00:07:12.000 And it has to do with our economic well-being as well.
00:07:15.000 If we have a president, commander-in-chief who makes every decision about what's in the best interest of the American people, we won't go wrong.
00:07:22.000 And I'll just say one thing.
00:07:23.000 We don't have to overcomplicate this.
00:07:25.000 We should not send another dollar to Ukraine while our border is wide open.
00:07:29.000 Period.
00:07:32.000 Yes, please follow up with Tulsi, but that's my position in one sentence.
00:07:35.000 So the reason I ask that is a little personal because I'm from Japan.
00:07:39.000 And obviously, China has been increasingly aggressive.
00:07:42.000 And why a lot of Japanese people are reluctant to fully support Trump is they're afraid that you'll sort of throw us under the bus if China drags Japan into a war.
00:07:54.000 So...
00:07:57.000 Here's what I'd say to that, and I understand the concern, but we need a president who will prevent war.
00:08:02.000 Period.
00:08:03.000 Period.
00:08:04.000 And the opportunity is there with the right kind of leadership, and this is a huge point of difference between President Trump and Kamala Harris.
00:08:12.000 Kamala Harris has criticized President Trump for doing what we should expect our leaders to do, Which is to engage in direct diplomacy, whether it be with dictators or adversaries, opposition as well as friends and partners, because that is how you prevent war.
00:08:29.000 Yes, it is strength.
00:08:30.000 It is peace through strength.
00:08:32.000 But that's not just through the buildup of military hardware and capability.
00:08:35.000 That's through engaging in the kind of leadership that we've seen in President John F. Kennedy, that we've seen in President Ronald Reagan, and that we saw in President Trump's first administration.
00:08:44.000 Thank you so much.
00:08:45.000 God bless you.
00:08:46.000 Thank you.

00:10:00.000 So, it's open mic.
00:10:01.000 Thank you.
00:10:02.000 Hello!
00:10:03.000 What's your name?
00:10:04.000 My name is Aydin.
00:10:06.000 I am a U.S. citizen, but I was raised in Mexico.
00:10:11.000 I came here because my parents one day want to come back, but legally, you know?
00:10:16.000 They want to do it in the right way.
00:10:20.000 And by coming here to school, it was going to be an opportunity.
00:10:24.000 But the school looks like it's going to give more opportunity to people who don't come here legally, instead of me, who I am a citizen.
00:10:34.000 I've been working for a year, over a year, to get my scholarship.
00:10:39.000 Nothing came back, so today I had to drop out of college, sadly.
00:10:44.000 I'm sorry.
00:10:45.000 And how is it possible that I have to go back to my parents in Mexico and try to look for a job there when I've been looking for months here in the United States as a citizen to fight for my rights to get a job and get an income here just so my parents can come back in the right way.
00:11:04.000 And also, my family is fully Democrat.
00:11:07.000 I am here opening up finally if they see me over there.
00:11:14.000 And they see me over there.
00:11:15.000 I'm sorry for you, but I've opened my eyes.
00:11:18.000 I've opened my eyes.
00:11:19.000 I love your thoughts on this, Tulsi, but I'll say this.
00:11:22.000 It is reprehensible and wrong that the people that come here the right way are punished and the people that come here the wrong way are rewarded.
00:11:29.000 That is wrong.
00:11:30.000 Yeah.
00:11:30.000 The people that cut in line get benefits.
00:11:33.000 They get taxpayer-funded subsidies.
00:11:34.000 They get flights to the city they're choosing.
00:11:37.000 They get luxury hotels where you came here the right way.
00:11:40.000 You followed the rules.
00:11:41.000 Yeah.
00:11:41.000 Yes.
00:11:41.000 And you are being punished.
00:11:42.000 It is a breakdown of justice and fairness.
00:11:45.000 And Donald Trump will not put up with that.
00:11:47.000 He will say, if you follow the rules, you'll be rewarded.
00:11:50.000 If you break the rules, you will be punished.
00:11:52.000 That is what Trump will do as president.
00:11:54.000 Thank you so much.
00:11:56.000 I just want to encourage you and tell you to stay strong.
00:12:00.000 Don't give up.
00:12:01.000 Keep up the fight.
00:12:02.000 You are doing the right thing in the right way, and know that you're not alone.
00:12:06.000 Thank you.
00:12:07.000 Hey, you deserve a lot of love, okay?
00:12:09.000 One thing, one thing.
00:12:11.000 Jesus Christ loves you all.
00:12:13.000 He will come back one day.
00:12:16.000 Amen a todos.
00:12:17.000 Cuídense.
00:12:18.000 God bless you.
00:12:19.000 What a great soul.
00:12:21.000 Okay, I thought we had a disagreement.
00:12:22.000 Maybe if not, are we going to just keep going?
00:12:24.000 No?
00:12:24.000 Okay, great.
00:12:27.000 Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and my name is Christopher.
00:12:30.000 I had a lot of questions, a lot of debates in the crowd today, but my main question would be, Sorry, would be how do we start having conversations in the workplace without infringing on the rules of work, but still be able to make it friendly?
00:12:46.000 Because I used to work at a job where I would bring up conversations about border and immigration and abortion and stuff, and I would make people aware.
00:12:57.000 I would give them factual news information, but then they all turned on me all of a sudden one day.
00:13:02.000 I didn't understand how you could go from smiling in your face to stabbing you in the back the next day.
00:13:09.000 How do we cultivate a more friendly atmosphere in our workforce where we're mostly at the majority of our life?
00:13:19.000 I mean, the First Amendment is the First Amendment.
00:13:21.000 I think when you're having these conversations, what I have found, even when I meet with people who come into the conversation ready for a fight, when you listen first and if they are communicating in good faith, then you can have a true and real conversation that is based on respect.
00:13:39.000 You can respect where someone's coming from even if you disagree with them.
00:13:42.000 Right.
00:13:43.000 And then share your own experience.
00:13:44.000 Share your own thoughts.
00:13:45.000 Share what's on your heart with them.
00:13:47.000 And again, if it's a good faith conversation, then it will flourish from there.
00:13:52.000 If they're not interested in having a conversation, it's not worth confronting.
00:13:55.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:13:56.000 Thank you so much.
00:13:57.000 Appreciate it.
00:13:57.000 Thank you.
00:13:58.000 God bless you guys.
00:13:58.000 Thank you.
00:14:01.000 Good afternoon.
00:14:02.000 Thank you for your service, Ms. Gabbard, for anything.
00:14:06.000 I just have one question related to the election for you.
00:14:10.000 How can you endorse someone who lost the last election fair and square?
00:14:16.000 There's no evidence.
00:14:18.000 Let him finish, guys.
00:14:20.000 Republican secretaries of state claimed it was fair.
00:14:24.000 Trump tried to leverage the Georgia secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger.
00:14:28.000 He said, find me 11,700 votes.
00:14:31.000 He has no respect for losing in our system.
00:14:35.000 And it, I mean, what happened on January 6th happened on January 6th.
00:14:40.000 A disaster.
00:14:41.000 Our Capitol got stormed for the first time since 1812. You people claim to love America.
00:14:46.000 Like, how does that not fire you up?
00:14:49.000 All right, so let's...
00:14:51.000 It's a fair question.
00:14:52.000 So let's talk through a couple elements of this.
00:14:54.000 First, do you think the CIA should involve itself in American elections?
00:14:59.000 No.
00:15:00.000 Okay, so it did in 2020. Show me proof.
00:15:02.000 Okay, well, Tulsi Gabbard knows this, you can tell you.
00:15:05.000 50 intel officials colluded, led by Tony Blinken due to declassified emails, signing an open letter calling the Hunter Biden laptop...
00:15:12.000 So why weren't any of the lawsuits successful?
00:15:14.000 Let me finish.
00:15:14.000 I did not...
00:15:15.000 Hold on.
00:15:15.000 He raised plenty of them.
00:15:16.000 Hold on a second.
00:15:17.000 I didn't interrupt you, right?
00:15:19.000 So let me finish.
00:15:21.000 50 Intel officials, current and former, signed a letter that was used to censor on social media the fact that there is a laptop owned by Hunter Biden that showed very suspicious and criminal activity by both Hunter and Joe Biden.
00:15:34.000 According to the Media Research Center, one out of four voters in swing states would have changed their vote if they would have known about the Hunter Biden laptop.
00:15:41.000 That's an utter ridiculous statement to make.
00:15:43.000 Well, I just cited it.
00:15:45.000 He lost by 7 million votes.
00:15:46.000 Well, hold on.
00:15:47.000 No, no.
00:15:47.000 He lost by 42,000 votes across three states.
00:15:50.000 Hold on, pal.
00:15:51.000 How much did he lose Arizona by?
00:15:52.000 Okay.
00:15:53.000 No, no.
00:15:53.000 Hold on.
00:15:54.000 How much did he lose this state by?
00:15:55.000 It's not about the final score.
00:15:57.000 It's a winner and a loser and a loss.
00:15:58.000 That's how our system works.
00:15:59.000 We have an electoral college system.
00:16:01.000 Yeah.
00:16:01.000 Who got the electoral votes?
00:16:03.000 Of course Biden did, but what was the margin in Arizona?
00:16:06.000 I don't know.
00:16:06.000 It was 10,000 votes.
00:16:07.000 Not in the back of my head.
00:16:08.000 Yeah.
00:16:08.000 So how much in Georgia?
00:16:10.000 It was $11,700.
00:16:12.000 I actually told McAfersberger to find him.
00:16:14.000 Or a Republican.
00:16:15.000 Who denounces him?
00:16:16.000 And in Wisconsin, it was $21,000, right?
00:16:18.000 So it was actually $42,000, not $7 million.
00:16:21.000 So when you're talking about the CIA and the Department of Justice signing a letter that was then used to...
00:16:26.000 I did not have my Twitter account for 30 days.
00:16:28.000 We were not allowed to mention the Hunter Biden laptop.
00:16:30.000 Because you violated a private company's...
00:16:31.000 Well, no, actually, I didn't.
00:16:34.000 Yes, you did.
00:16:34.000 No, because of the Twitter file saying it's Elon Musk, we now know the FBI told Twitter to say you are not allowed to mention a hundred-bind laptop.
00:16:41.000 Am I correct in this, Tulsi?
00:16:42.000 That's correct.
00:16:43.000 So you don't trust the FBI at all?
00:16:45.000 Well, not at all.
00:16:45.000 People who have to vote their life to civil service.
00:16:47.000 That's a red herring.
00:16:47.000 I'm saying in that instance, Yoel Roth, do you know who Yoel Roth was?
00:16:51.000 I don't know who Yoel Roth is.
00:16:52.000 Yoel Roth was the head of security, trust and safety for Twitter that had a standing, what's called a standing room meeting every Tuesday with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in San Francisco where they met about Russian threats to American interference of elections and they said this laptop is not allowed to be discussed on your platform.
00:17:10.000 That impacted our election.
00:17:11.000 People made their decisions differently in 2020, not knowing the full picture that this laptop existed, and that was the October surprise.
00:17:19.000 So, you would agree that that's not a fair election.
00:17:22.000 You think the laptop would have flipped the election for it?
00:17:24.000 Well, we're talking about 42,000 votes in three states, and I already cited a study that one in four swing voters would have changed their...
00:17:30.000 By who?
00:17:31.000 The media research center.
00:17:32.000 Clarence Thomas' Winnebago buyer?
00:17:33.000 Like, who funds these?
00:17:35.000 I just said by the independent, nonpartisan media research center, where they said one out of four voters would have changed their opinion.
00:17:43.000 So I just want to make sure we're clear, though.
00:17:45.000 You agree our government should not interfere with our elections.
00:17:48.000 Well, they have to regulate them by nature.
00:17:51.000 That's...
00:17:52.000 The states have to.
00:17:53.000 Otherwise you wouldn't have an election because you need rules and a judge.
00:17:56.000 I said interfere.
00:17:57.000 Interfere.
00:17:58.000 So should the federal government be able to restrict our speech during elections?
00:18:02.000 Well, when you have what happened in 2016 where Russian disinformation spreads all over Facebook and other platforms, then you have- That's not a lie!
00:18:09.000 It was not a lie.
00:18:10.000 It was not a lie.
00:18:12.000 Read the Mueller report, another Republican, respected.
00:18:15.000 The Mueller report found that there was no tangible collusion between Donald Trump or the Russian Federation.
00:18:21.000 It wasn't just a collusion thing.
00:18:24.000 It's a 430-page report.
00:18:26.000 I want to try to find common ground here, okay?
00:18:28.000 I want to try to find common ground.
00:18:30.000 Can we agree that 2020 was decided by very few votes?
00:18:35.000 No.
00:18:35.000 Because it wasn't.
00:18:36.000 Well, 42,000 votes is very few, right?
00:18:39.000 No.
00:18:40.000 So what is the percentage of 42,000?
00:18:42.000 It's not a vote.
00:18:43.000 George Bush and Al Gore were as close as ever in 2000. Al Gore conceded, said, you know what?
00:18:47.000 I lost.
00:18:48.000 There might be a challenge.
00:18:49.000 Hold on.
00:18:49.000 Because he cared about the good of the country.
00:18:51.000 You know, Al Gore brought it all the way up to the Supreme Court, man.
00:18:53.000 And he said that Bush was not the dude elected president.
00:18:55.000 And he could have gone further because...
00:18:56.000 How did he go further than the Supreme Court?
00:18:58.000 The Supreme...
00:18:59.000 The Supreme Court sent it back to judgment in the Florida State Supreme Court again, and Gore said, no, I'm not doing that.
00:19:06.000 Just move on, Bush is the president.
00:19:08.000 For the good of the country.
00:19:09.000 Because people used to care about our country.
00:19:11.000 Are you trying to imply Trump doesn't care about the country?
00:19:14.000 Yes, that's absolutely what I'm implying.
00:19:16.000 He's going to pull it for the country!
00:19:18.000 You think he sits in his gold room in Trump Tower and thinks, oh, how can I make things better for the country?
00:19:25.000 So let me ask one thing, and I'd love to have Tulsi.
00:19:29.000 Just help me understand.
00:19:30.000 So his business empire has been taken away from him.
00:19:33.000 Yeah, because he broke the law.
00:19:35.000 Can I finish my thought?
00:19:36.000 He's facing 700 years in federal prison.
00:19:40.000 He's been shot once with multiple assassination attempts.
00:19:43.000 Why keep running for president if he doesn't love the country?
00:19:45.000 Because 100 years from now, in a history textbook, it's going to say Donald Trump's name, and that's what motivates narcissists.
00:19:52.000 What?
00:19:56.000 Look, I will say this.
00:19:59.000 I hope you do some research, because...
00:20:01.000 I've done my research.
00:20:02.000 You need to do your research.
00:20:04.000 You clearly have it, man!
00:20:07.000 Look, I will say this as kindly as I can.
00:20:10.000 One day I hope you open your eyes because you've been significantly brainwashed on this topic.
00:20:15.000 And I guess the final question I'll ask is this.
00:20:20.000 If Donald Trump wins in three weeks, will you accept that as a legitimate result?
00:20:24.000 Yes.
00:20:25.000 Okay, I'll hold you to that.
00:20:26.000 That's the difference between me and you.
00:20:27.000 Okay.
00:20:28.000 Did Trump win in 2016?
00:20:29.000 Yes.
00:20:30.000 But you said that Russian interfered.
00:20:31.000 Russian interference had a role in the election, but Trump won fair and square.
00:20:34.000 He had more votes and more...
00:20:37.000 Notice how Hillary supporters didn't storm the Capitol.
00:20:39.000 Well, no, hold on.
00:20:39.000 Hillary never conceded.
00:20:41.000 Yes, she did.
00:20:42.000 No, hold on.
00:20:42.000 She had a concession speech the day after the election.
00:20:45.000 I watched it in middle school.
00:20:45.000 Hillary Clinton said Donald Trump was not the legitimate president of the United States.
00:20:49.000 That's one milked clip that is played all over the internet.
00:20:52.000 Yeah, she had a concession speech.
00:20:53.000 When's the Trump concession speech in 2020?
00:20:55.000 Show it to me.
00:20:56.000 Let me ask you one more question.
00:20:57.000 Are you voting for Kamala Harris?
00:20:58.000 Yes, I am, proudly.
00:21:00.000 What's her greatest accomplishment?
00:21:01.000 Her greatest accomplishment?
00:21:03.000 Nothing.
00:21:04.000 I would say that she's going to legalize marijuana federally, something that's been overdue by 100 years.
00:21:14.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:22:19.000 Music.
00:22:20.000 you you you So I know that you talk a lot about serving the American people.
00:22:26.000 You were talking earlier about no more money for Ukraine until we secure our borders, until we have – I know I've seen earlier on Instagram and stuff, you talk about having good jobs for Americans, having good opportunities for Americans.
00:22:41.000 And as far as the Ukraine situation, Senator McConnell had talked about – I know – Your good friend Bobby Kennedy talks about this a lot, about how it's really sort of a money laundering scheme, as he put it, for military industrial complex.
00:23:04.000 They impose loans on Ukraine, for example, and a lot of that money is really going to, as McConnell said, going to the military industrial complex.
00:23:14.000 And they – as far as these loan conditions that they impose, they call them loans, but they're not getting paid back.
00:23:22.000 So really we're giving tax money to Americans – or tax money from Americans to other countries.
00:23:28.000 So – and as you've talked about before, serving the American people is extremely important to you.
00:23:34.000 So what I would say as far as serving the American people versus serving Ukraine, for example, I would say American people is probably above that, right?
00:23:43.000 Even if there is a threat from Russia or from, you know, influence from Russia that we need to spread democracy, support democracy, those kind of things.
00:23:55.000 But the other thing that you've talked about before...
00:23:58.000 What's the question?
00:23:59.000 Yeah.
00:23:59.000 The other thing that you've talked about before is, well, why doesn't that, that I don't really hear you talk about a lot, how does that not apply to Israel that we've been giving tons more money than Ukraine?
00:24:10.000 We literally just answered this question, like the guy before you, yeah.
00:24:13.000 Okay.
00:24:13.000 Yeah.
00:24:14.000 And I would say, you know, what I would be concerned about is people like Candace Owens get ostracized from the right for criticizing Israel in some ways, in ways that a lot of people would criticize, get lumped in with people like Nick Fuentes and stuff like that.
00:24:33.000 What is the question?
00:24:35.000 If you answered it before, I didn't hear it, but I'm going to watch it back for sure.
00:24:38.000 All right.
00:24:38.000 Thank you very much.
00:24:39.000 Appreciate it.
00:24:39.000 Thank you.
00:24:41.000 In such a polarized political environment, it feels like a real conversation has taken a backseat to virtue signaling and winning the argument.
00:24:49.000 How do you think we can bring the focus back to meaningful debates where both sides listen and engage respectfully, even when they disagree?
00:24:58.000 Tulsi, I'd love to have you answer this because you dealt with the lack of the culture of freedom of speech on the left.
00:25:08.000 Come in and listen first.
00:25:11.000 I have so many different examples I could give you, but there's one in particular.
00:25:14.000 When I was running for president, I was in a small town in Iowa and went to go meet with the newspaper editor there.
00:25:20.000 I did it in every town that I went through, and I walked in knowing that he wanted to fight.
00:25:24.000 And the issue that he wanted to fight about was climate change.
00:25:27.000 He wanted to prove that he was right and I was wrong, even though he didn't really know what my position was.
00:25:32.000 I listened to him.
00:25:33.000 I listened to his points.
00:25:35.000 And then I asked him, do you care about clean water?
00:25:38.000 Do you care about clean air?
00:25:41.000 He came from a long line of farmers.
00:25:42.000 I said, do you care about having good soil quality so that your kids can continue to farm as your father and grandfather did?
00:25:49.000 I care about those same things.
00:25:51.000 I never used the word climate change at all, and we found common ground about these things that we uniquely cared about me growing up in Hawaii and him growing up in Iowa.
00:26:01.000 When we are willing to listen and engage in good faith, we can find those moments of common ground that will allow us to have those meaningful conversations around the things that are most important to all of us.
00:26:12.000 God gave us two ears and one mouth.
00:26:14.000 We should listen more and hear what people have to say.
00:26:16.000 Thank you.
00:26:17.000 Thank you.
00:26:18.000 Yes.
00:26:18.000 I want to invite any disagreements, you guys.
00:26:20.000 More than welcome here.
00:26:21.000 Thank you.
00:26:22.000 Yes.
00:26:22.000 Next question.
00:26:22.000 Yeah.
00:26:23.000 Hi.
00:26:23.000 I'd first just like to give a huge welcome and thank you.
00:26:27.000 Just thank you guys for being here on behalf of the University of Arizona.
00:26:31.000 Thank you.
00:26:31.000 And all the students here as I represent the student body.
00:26:34.000 Right.
00:26:35.000 So I just I watched the Ovan last night news podcast with with Bernie.
00:26:42.000 And he, for the first portion, went over healthcare reformation in our country, with some comparative analysis to other countries that are in the same bracket of wealth and GDP. So I just was wondering, maybe because I have a poor understanding of Trump's proposed structure to optimize what I think is a necessary healthcare reformation.
00:27:10.000 I'll start with this, and this is where I see huge opportunity.
00:27:13.000 One of the things I'm excited about with President Trump winning is because of the people that he's chosen to surround himself with.
00:27:20.000 Number one, as Charlie said, there are no lobbyists for big pharma and big insurance sitting on the transition team to pick who is going to fill his cabinet.
00:27:29.000 That's a huge difference from any previous administration from either party.
00:27:33.000 Yeah.
00:27:33.000 They're the biggest lobbies.
00:27:34.000 You've got Bobby Kennedy who is sitting in position and already starting to choose people who recognize how broken our sick care system is and bring about the deeply, the systemic change that we need to see that will actually put our health and well-being first.
00:27:52.000 That's not just about pushing pills on people to make Big Pharma richer, but actually dealing with the root causes of why our country is so sick and how we can improve life for the American people.
00:28:03.000 Tulsi's exactly right.
00:28:04.000 One of the reasons, not the only reason, we spend more per capita on healthcare is that we're actively poisoning our kids in what we put in their cereal, in their food, and the corporations are poisoning us.
00:28:16.000 Donald Trump putting Bobby Kennedy into the administration and on the transition team will be one of the greatest steps forward in protecting American health.
00:28:24.000 For example, in Japan, 3% of kids at age 15 are chronically obese or overweight.
00:28:29.000 3%.
00:28:30.000 50% of our kids are chronically obese or overweight by the time they're 15. And it's not because just they're moving less.
00:28:37.000 It's because what's in our food.
00:28:39.000 Red dye 22, blue dye 5 from what is in our food should be illegal and is illegal in most other countries.
00:28:46.000 So if we are serious about health care, the number one thing we should focus on is the thing you put in your body more than anything else.
00:28:53.000 Food.
00:28:54.000 Food can either be medicine or poison.
00:28:56.000 And it's currently poison in our country, which then creates type 2 diabetes, heart issues, coronary issues, obesity, overweight.
00:29:04.000 So how do we get that?
00:29:05.000 It's a long project.
00:29:06.000 You need to fix the literature on how we actually publish studies, blow up the food pyramid, and make the lobbyists for Kellogg's and Nestle not have a back door into the White House.
00:29:18.000 Thank you.
00:29:18.000 Thank you.
00:29:20.000 I just have a quick question.
00:29:21.000 So going into the next election, we're picking the lesser of two evils.
00:29:26.000 It's always been that way because Jesus Christ has never been on the ballot.
00:29:29.000 And my question to you is what are some policies you can educate myself and everyone here with that Trump's going to put into place?
00:29:37.000 And what is your favorite policy?
00:29:39.000 I can start and then Tulsi can go.
00:29:41.000 He will end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
00:29:43.000 Blessed are the peacemakers.
00:29:45.000 He will secure the southern border and restore sovereignty.
00:29:47.000 No tax on tips.
00:29:49.000 No tax on overtime.
00:29:50.000 No tax on social security.
00:29:52.000 No men and women's sports.
00:29:54.000 Established energy independence.
00:29:56.000 Booming economy.
00:29:57.000 Middle class tax cut.
00:29:58.000 And one of my favorites, what I think is so incredibly important, he will end the weaponization of government against political opponents.
00:30:05.000 And we will not live in a country...
00:30:08.000 Where you go to jail just because you have different ideas.
00:30:11.000 Those are just some off the top of my head and Tulsi can continue.
00:30:13.000 Thank you.
00:30:14.000 I think you covered the greatest hits, Charlie.
00:30:16.000 I just want to take the opportunity to give a shout out.
00:30:18.000 I was in Reno last night at a University of Nevada-Reno women's volleyball game.
00:30:24.000 These women are taking a stand against biological males in their sport.
00:30:28.000 They are forfeiting a game.
00:30:29.000 They are a D1 team forfeiting a game because they refuse to play against San Jose State that has a biological male on their team.
00:30:37.000 The courage these women are demonstrating are an inspiration and we look forward to many more of these teams taking a stand even at their own peril, even against their own university leadership and standing up and doing what's right.
00:30:49.000 Thank you.
00:30:50.000 Thank you so much.
00:30:51.000 And I'll just say one final thing.
00:30:53.000 It's very important that people of faith view the election the way you did.
00:30:56.000 It is a lesser of two evils always, but there is one that is better, and that one that is better fit towards our worldview, and that is Donald Trump.
00:31:04.000 Thank you so much.
00:31:05.000 Thank you, guys.
00:31:05.000 Appreciate it.
00:31:08.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:31:09.000 If you ever had a doubt that there's a war on the unborn, you now know beyond a doubt that is the case.

00:32:09.000 Hello, my name is Brenna.
00:32:15.000 I've noticed that every time the topic of women's rights or female issues is brought up by politicians, everyone knows the conversation will be centered around abortion rights.
00:32:24.000 It seems we have lost contact with the fact that women's issues cover a multitude of issues.
00:32:31.000 As a daughter of Christ, woman, and believer in pro-life, of course I have a strong conviction on the matter.
00:32:36.000 However, I would like to know why we have allowed this conversation to be doctored towards one issue, and also how to navigate this conversation back to other issues regarding women.
00:32:47.000 I think the mainstream propaganda media has a lot to do with why they present women's issues around that single issue.
00:32:54.000 The Democrat Party leadership does the very same thing.
00:32:58.000 To me, I'm personally offended by it, because as a woman, there are a lot of different issues that I'm very concerned about, and I know that a lot of women across the country are.
00:33:05.000 We just talked about one of them.
00:33:07.000 How is it that Kamala Harris and Democrats claim to be the champion of women And yet they are silent when women are losing the ability to play fairly in sports against other women.
00:33:20.000 How is it that they are silent when young children are being mutilated because of the trans ideology and so-called gender affirming care?
00:33:30.000 They are silent on these issues.
00:33:32.000 And when it came time for a vote, every single Democrat voted against fairness and equality and Title IX for women and girls in sports.
00:33:40.000 So I encourage you, as you're having these conversations, Bring up these issues that you probably care very much about.
00:33:46.000 Bring up issues related to just the ability to afford living, be able to afford school.
00:33:52.000 Issues related to peace.
00:33:53.000 How do we raise a family in a society where we have criminals running around in our streets and we face the prospect of nuclear war?
00:34:00.000 This is happening now as a result of Kamala Harris.
00:34:03.000 I'll say one final thing.
00:34:05.000 The border is a woman's issue.
00:34:06.000 There are tens of thousands of young girls that are sex trafficked on the southern border.
00:34:11.000 And it is one of the great moral crimes in the history of our country.
00:34:15.000 There are 320,000 missing kids that we know of under Kamala Harris.
00:34:20.000 And I want every independent and swing voter to hear that.
00:34:23.000 You might hate Donald Trump, but you should hate the fact that there are 320,000 missing kids more than however much you hate Donald Trump.
00:34:29.000 It is modern day slavery.
00:34:31.000 We don't know where these kids are.
00:34:33.000 They could be a sex slaves, they could be labor slaves, or just generally missing.
00:34:37.000 For those of you that know what's happening on the border, every day there are these poor 12 and 13 year old girls that are trafficked by the cartels.
00:34:44.000 Someone says that it's their father and it's not their father.
00:34:47.000 Kamala Harris made a decision to get rid of DNA testing on the border.
00:34:51.000 It takes 90 seconds to do DNA testing.
00:34:53.000 DNA testing, swab, swab, put it in a machine, yes or no affirmative match of whether or not there's a biological relation.
00:35:00.000 It's not hard.
00:35:01.000 They decided to get rid of it because they didn't like the optics of a lot of people waiting on the border.
00:35:04.000 So what happens when you get rid of DNA testing?
00:35:07.000 That means anybody can claim to be the 12-year-old's father and bring her to the interior of the United States, and God knows where she is right now.
00:35:13.000 We have to all agree this is bigger than politics.
00:35:16.000 This is a moral failing of our country, and it must end immediately.
00:35:20.000 Thank you.
00:35:22.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
