00:01:28.000 Charlie, thank you for coming.
00:01:30.000 So I think a lot of people here are trying to get you with gotchas and stuff like that.
00:01:34.000 I agree with a lot of what you say, but there's a fundamental issue I have, I think, with some aspects of our society today.
00:01:41.000 Vivek brought up that we don't have a Central American identity anymore.
00:01:45.000 And largely I think that's because when the Constitution was written, we were primarily Christian, we were primarily European.
00:01:52.000 The literacy rate was very high back then because the Puritans forced their kids to read.
00:01:57.000 So we had a very literate and effective democracy.
00:01:59.000 But today, in the absence of identity, people have sort of gone back to this very materialistic relationship with politics.
00:02:06.000 And my question for you is, I think throughout history, you see that every society generally has a spiritual center.
00:02:13.000 And our spiritual center was meant to be the Constitution.
00:02:16.000 And it strayed significantly from then.
00:02:18.000 Even back hundreds of years ago, we had aristocracies that were given the divine right by God to rule.
00:02:27.000 Today, in the absence of a military-landed aristocracy with an economic elite, do you think that because people's self-interests have sort of superseded this larger identity of what it means to be an American, for example, during the Vietnam War, you had the song Fortunate Son because these senators you had the song Fortunate Son because these senators would not be participating in warfare, whereas in the past the landed aristocracy would.
00:02:51.000 How do we get back to a greater identity of America and actually fighting for America rather than all these politicians that are looking out for their self-interest rather than making America stronger and more powerful on a global stage?
00:03:05.000 This is why Donald Trump needs to win, is that we're losing our commonality as Americans right now.
00:03:10.000 And you're right, the Constitution needs to be the North Star.
00:03:12.000 The premise of the Constitution is that you are made in the image of your Creator, that you have agency, that liberty is God's idea, not man's idea, and that when a free society is allowed to occur and ensue, it's amazing what human beings can do.
00:03:26.000 As we stray away from the Constitution, our country disintegrates.
00:03:30.000 Can I say one more thing?
00:03:31.000 Yeah.
00:03:32.000 So because we have become largely materialistic and consumerist, don't you think that as part of our government, we need to have more of like an actual central institution which promotes a central culture rather than all these individual interests that kind of come together?
00:03:45.000 I don't, but I think this other guy wants to get in here.
00:03:48.000 All right.
00:03:48.000 Thank you.
00:03:49.000 Hey, thanks for coming, Charlie.
00:03:50.000 All right.
00:03:51.000 I'm guessing you're on the football team.
00:03:56.000 Am I right?
00:03:57.000 No, I actually played tennis.
00:03:58.000 No, I'm just kidding.
00:04:01.000 I'm sorry, I'm just up here.
00:04:02.000 I just want to give my coach a hat.
00:04:04.000 You know, and horns down too.
00:04:06.000 And go Dawgs!
00:04:06.000 Go Dawgs!
00:04:08.000 You're going to give this to Kirby?
00:04:09.000 Yeah, I'm going to give it to Kirby.
00:04:11.000 Thank you.
00:04:12.000 All right.
00:04:13.000 All right, what's up?
00:04:20.000 Who was that?
00:04:22.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:04:22.000 Thanks for coming today.
00:04:23.000 I'm Jack.
00:04:24.000 That's not Stackhouse.
00:04:26.000 He's a D lineman on the football team.
00:04:27.000 That's what I figured, yeah.
00:04:28.000 Okay.
00:04:28.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:04:29.000 So, with Joe Biden's late dropout and Kamala's subsequent rise in the polls, do you feel like the power of incumbency is decreasing?
00:04:37.000 It's a really smart question.
00:04:40.000 That's actually part of the trick of this election, is that they're trying to convince you she's not an incumbent.
00:04:45.000 Usually incumbents, so that's actually a really, really smart question.
00:04:49.000 Usually you want to be an incumbent, unless you've been an awful president and vice president, and now they're trying to act as if they're not an incumbent.
00:04:56.000 Do you notice that, where she's like, oh, I'm gonna...
00:04:58.000 How many times does she say, we need to turn the page?
00:05:01.000 Yeah, turn the page on you, Kamala Harris.
00:05:03.000 You're the current Vice President of the United States.
00:05:05.000 Like, oh, we need a change after the last 10 years.
00:05:08.000 And you're kind of like, wait a second, you're the change candidate as the Vice President?
00:05:12.000 And so it's a smart question because typically you want to be the incumbent and run on your record.
00:05:17.000 Now it seems as if that's changed dramatically.
00:05:19.000 And do you feel like she was legitimately elected to be the vice president?
00:05:24.000 I mean, it was legitimate through the Democrat Party, but, I mean, for all of you Democrats out there, I know you're out there, you guys should be really, really upset that you guys did not have a fair and open primary.
00:05:34.000 Sixteen million people voted for Joe Biden.
00:05:37.000 Not for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, just Joe Biden.
00:05:40.000 And you guys all of a sudden had to be, you know, stuck with Kamala Harris.
00:05:44.000 Yeah, of course, I don't know if it was like a Zoom call or something or the delegates met.
00:05:47.000 No one's ever explained to me how this worked, by the way.
00:05:49.000 Did they have like a conference call?
00:05:51.000 Did they all like kind of text in their vote?
00:05:52.000 It was like all of a sudden Joe Biden drops out and all of a sudden, you know, oh, she's the nominee.
00:05:56.000 To be perfectly honest, I'm thrilled we're running against her.
00:06:00.000 Because there were a lot of other Democrats that could have been way harder to beat.
00:06:03.000 And typically, when someone runs for president, they'll find three things they disagree with their party about to try to broaden the base.
00:06:10.000 For example, when Trump ran, he's like, I don't agree with the wars, I don't like trade, and we need immigration.
00:06:14.000 Okay.
00:06:14.000 When Bill Clinton ran, he's like, I'm in favor of the death penalty and welfare reform.
00:06:19.000 Like, usually there's things that they'll find things they disagree with their party about.
00:06:22.000 Kamala Harris is such a creature of the Democrat Party.
00:06:24.000 And it's too bad.
00:06:25.000 I mean, for Democrats, the party of democracy...
00:06:28.000 They didn't really play that out very well this year.
00:06:30.000 No, they didn't.
00:06:31.000 Thank you for coming, Charlie.
00:06:31.000 Thank you very much.
00:06:35.000 No, we should not free Diddy, okay?
00:06:39.000 Absolutely not.
00:06:41.000 No, yeah, you'll debate me?
00:06:43.000 Okay.
00:06:45.000 Do you have a free Epstein shirt, too?
00:06:51.000 Hey Charlie, my name is Ryan and I really like the way that you explain things to people.
00:06:56.000 You're really polite.
00:06:57.000 Even when people do name calling, you're really always about the facts.
00:07:00.000 So I had a quick question for you about Trump and his administration in 2024.
00:07:06.000 So Trump always has been America first, and I really appreciate that.
00:07:09.000 I like that about him.
00:07:10.000 But one thing that is kind of a concern to me about America first is both Kamala and Trump's, they've pledged so much money and support to Israel as if it's an extension of the United States, as if it's part of the United States.
00:07:22.000 So how can we say we're putting America first as Trump supporters when all this dialogue about sending billions of dollars to protect Israel?
00:07:31.000 So let me ask you a question.
00:07:32.000 Do you believe in America first or America only?
00:07:36.000 America first.
00:07:37.000 America first.
00:07:38.000 So America first then allows you to be involved in international affairs.
00:07:41.000 America only would say we don't want to be involved.
00:07:43.000 And so I will agree that there should be a suspension of all foreign aid until immigration is completely shut down and we've done a deportation effort.
00:07:51.000 We can agree on that, right?
00:07:52.000 Yeah, that makes sense to me.
00:07:53.000 I say once we get our house in order, though, and we might not agree on this, I believe there is a role for an American-Israeli alliance.
00:07:53.000 Okay.
00:07:59.000 Maybe it's been too much money in recent years, but I think that there is a place for a partnership with the state of Israel for America.
00:08:05.000 Okay.
00:08:05.000 And then, last thing, so would you agree that we should be putting a little bit less money into Israel, that we're doing too much right now, but we should probably decrease that spending?
00:08:12.000 I will agree with this, that during the last spending bill, it inexplicably went up by like $15 billion, and no one gave me a good explanation.
00:08:21.000 That will all agree with.
00:08:22.000 Thank you very much.
00:08:22.000 Okay, thank you so much.
00:08:23.000 Thank you.

00:09:23.000 That is charlieforhillsdale.com.
00:09:28.000 Hi.
00:09:30.000 You've been on record to say that college is a scam for various reasons.
00:09:33.000 Not only that, I wrote a book.
00:09:34.000 You wrote a book as well, yes.
00:09:36.000 And I could see one of your main arguments being that we take a lot of classes that you would consider useless, but we still pay for them.
00:09:44.000 So it's like, why are we paying this extra money for the stuff we don't want to learn?
00:09:48.000 I personally have not had that experience.
00:09:50.000 I haven't taken a single useless class yet.
00:09:52.000 I think there's a little bit of important...
00:09:55.000 How many of you guys take classes that are a waste of time?
00:09:58.000 Look around.
00:09:59.000 You are in the minority, my friend.
00:10:00.000 But that's okay.
00:10:01.000 That's fine.
00:10:02.000 I think...
00:10:02.000 You know what it's like?
00:10:03.000 It's like saying, hey, I had a great experience on Spirit Airlines.
00:10:06.000 Wow!
00:10:06.000 I met someone.
00:10:08.000 I know it exists.
00:10:09.000 I know someone exists out there that had a great flight on Spirit Airlines.
00:10:13.000 I've never met them, but I want to.
00:10:15.000 Me personally, I just wonder because for me, it gives you a list of classes.
00:10:19.000 There's only a couple of classes that are required for each person to take, whether that be for your major or for that be for your core.
00:10:26.000 I believe at one of the schools, it's like government's like the only required core class in English that you take, but all the other classes you get options.
00:10:33.000 So I'm like, you should pick the most useful out of those options.
00:10:37.000 So I just don't understand.
00:10:38.000 Fair enough.
00:10:38.000 I think what a lot of people...
00:10:40.000 So, for example, I would imagine...
00:10:41.000 Let me give an example at Ohio State University, not UGA, which you guys don't like the Buckeyes either here, right?
00:10:46.000 You guys hate everyone.
00:10:48.000 It's Georgia against the world, which I fully support, by the way.
00:10:52.000 I think it's awesome.
00:10:54.000 By the way, I hate Alabama.
00:10:55.000 Don't tell them I said that.
00:10:56.000 But it's just...
00:10:59.000 Anyway, that's a whole different issue.
00:11:01.000 So, for example, at Ohio State, if you're studying engineering, you have to take a DEI course.
00:11:06.000 I think that's ridiculous.
00:11:07.000 Okay, like diversity, equity, inclusion.
00:11:08.000 I don't know if it's required to take DEI here.
00:11:10.000 Is it?
00:11:12.000 It's required for a veterinarian so that you know the diverse cats that you're...
00:11:20.000 You need DEI if you're a veterinarian.
00:11:22.000 Wow.
00:11:23.000 I don't know how that applies.
00:11:26.000 That's really something.
00:11:27.000 So we'll just disagree.
00:11:28.000 That's fine.
00:11:29.000 I'm glad, though, that you're getting a lot out of the experience.
00:11:32.000 I'm glad.
00:11:33.000 Because not everyone is.
00:11:34.000 Thank you very much.
00:11:38.000 We can hear you.
00:11:50.000 How do you feel about the legalization of marijuana?
00:11:53.000 I'm against it.
00:11:54.000 Against?
00:11:54.000 Why?
00:11:55.000 Well, first, I know you'll probably bring up alcohol.
00:11:59.000 Happy to discuss that.
00:12:00.000 I actually think alcohol is worse than marijuana, for the record.
00:12:02.000 Would you agree with that?
00:12:03.000 I agree with that.
00:12:03.000 But we're talking about legalizing something that's currently illegal, rather than making something legal that is illegal, if that makes sense.
00:12:12.000 Let me put it this way, and maybe we can find common ground.
00:12:16.000 Would you agree that there are more side effects to the usage of marijuana than most people would be aware about?
00:12:20.000 For sure.
00:12:21.000 Okay.
00:12:21.000 So that's a good common agreement.
00:12:23.000 I think the problem with mass legalization is that it underplays the side effects.
00:12:28.000 I don't think a generation that is regularly using marijuana is a great thing for the country or a great thing for the individual.
00:12:34.000 The best argument that one would make is, but the government should have no role in it.
00:12:37.000 Fair enough.
00:12:38.000 I think that's a good argument.
00:12:39.000 That's the best argument, actually.
00:12:41.000 But at the same time, I wouldn't...
00:12:42.000 So, for example, Arizona, we've completely legalized marijuana.
00:12:46.000 Sure.
00:12:46.000 And I don't think it's been good.
00:12:47.000 Minors are using it more.
00:12:48.000 Emergency room visits are up.
00:12:50.000 And also, the new, again, I don't know the technical term, but it's far more psychoactive than it has been in the past.
00:12:57.000 Would you agree with that?
00:12:58.000 Yeah, THC rates are skyrocketing.
00:13:01.000 And it also increases bipolar schizophrenia, depression, anxiety.
00:13:05.000 And I also think there's been a lot in that, oh, it's going to solve all of your problems.
00:13:09.000 We've seen very little evidence of that.
00:13:11.000 Right, right.
00:13:12.000 It would make the government a lot of money, though.
00:13:14.000 Make the government a lot of money.
00:13:15.000 Yes and no.
00:13:16.000 So that's interesting.
00:13:17.000 We're still trying to see if that's true.
00:13:19.000 So in Colorado, which is like the premier marijuana legalization, their social services have gone up.
00:13:26.000 So hospital room visits, other homelessness issues.
00:13:29.000 And we're not even sure if it's cash flow neutral with the money and revenue they're getting from marijuana.
00:13:34.000 So you might be right, but I don't look around saying, how can I give more money to the government?
00:13:41.000 There's a lot of ways to give money to the government, right?
00:13:42.000 That's not that interesting to me.
00:13:44.000 Maybe it would bring less taxes, though.
00:13:46.000 Do you think so, or no?
00:13:48.000 I'd have to look at that.
00:13:49.000 So let's go through three promises of the legalization industry, if that's okay.
00:13:54.000 The first of which is they said that it was going to weaken the cartels.
00:13:58.000 Sure, definitely not.
00:13:59.000 It has not, right?
00:14:00.000 They said that it was going to lower usage rates, that once it's legal, people will use it less because the mystique of the illegality will be gone.
00:14:09.000 That's not true, right?
00:14:10.000 Definitely not.
00:14:10.000 At number three, we were told that minors would not be using marijuana as much, and that's also not true.
00:14:16.000 So I think that's just worth thinking about.
00:14:18.000 For sure.
00:14:18.000 Thank you.
00:14:19.000 Thank you very much.
00:14:20.000 If you guys disagree, you guys can come to the front of the line.
00:14:22.000 Yes, sir.
00:14:23.000 How you doing?
00:14:24.000 My name is Spencer Glenn.
00:14:26.000 I just got out of the Marine Corps like a month ago.
00:14:28.000 Thank you for your service.
00:14:31.000 No, you're good.
00:14:32.000 You're good.
00:14:33.000 I got a Marine right here.
00:14:38.000 So there's actually two things I want to talk about.
00:14:40.000 The first thing is not necessarily a question, but I just want to tell you something that I experienced a little while ago.
00:14:45.000 When I was in 2020, that's when I went to boot camp.
00:14:48.000 And before boot camp, you know, this is during the height of COVID. And I didn't really, you know, have a plan or do anything and, you know, whatever.
00:14:55.000 That's why I wanted to go into the Marine Corps.
00:14:57.000 And when I was in the quarantined hotel before, it was my first year of voting that I could have voted, and they would not allow me to vote.
00:15:05.000 I was registered and everything, and they kept me in that hotel, and I couldn't leave until voting was over.
00:15:09.000 So it's kind of strange.
00:15:11.000 That sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen, right?
00:15:14.000 Maybe.
00:15:15.000 What's your question?
00:15:16.000 My question is, so...
00:15:19.000 I've seen a couple of your things on YouTube and just scrolling through everything.
00:15:24.000 So I've seen you a little bit, but I don't know exactly your stance on this.
00:15:27.000 But I believe that there should be no restrictions on guns almost whatsoever.
00:15:32.000 I believe that I should be able to own exactly the same thing that the military has, if not better.
00:15:38.000 And I also believe that...
00:15:40.000 There really shouldn't be any no gun zones.
00:15:43.000 I feel like schools and things should have, you know, teachers should be able to carry if they are...
00:15:48.000 I'm totally with you on the second component of that, but can I challenge you on the first?
00:15:52.000 Yes.
00:15:52.000 Do you think civilians should be able to own Tomahawk missiles?
00:15:58.000 Yeah.
00:15:59.000 I know that's like a crazy stance.
00:16:00.000 I know that might be a little...
00:16:01.000 Can I further push you with your permission?
00:16:02.000 Yes, you can.
00:16:03.000 Do you think civilians should be able to own thermonuclear weapons?
00:16:06.000 Okay, maybe not.
00:16:07.000 Well, hold on.
00:16:08.000 Oh, no, hold on.
00:16:08.000 This is important.
00:16:09.000 It is important.
00:16:09.000 So there is a line where you're like, okay, the government only.
00:16:13.000 Yep.
00:16:13.000 My line is a little bit further down than yours.
00:16:16.000 I think having, like, white dudes for Harris with Tomahawk missiles is terrifying.
00:16:20.000 Yes, it is.
00:16:23.000 Because I wouldn't have a home right now.
00:16:25.000 True.
00:16:26.000 So I think that generally I am of the opinion that less gun control the better, especially where it's heavily regulated.
00:16:35.000 And even to go as far, I think some of the restrictions on automatic weapons go too far.
00:16:39.000 Yes.
00:16:40.000 But I do think that we should fight for a government that we trust enough that they can at least control sophisticated weaponry, tanks, missiles, thermonuclear weapons.
00:16:51.000 But I think you're coming after it in a good way, that more liberty, not less liberty on this topic is probably the right solution.
00:16:57.000 Yeah.
00:16:58.000 And I know that was kind of like an insane push, I guess, maybe.
00:17:02.000 It isn't, it isn't.
00:17:02.000 But I'm trying to get at that there are lines where you believe the government should have a monopoly on force at some point.
00:17:08.000 Yes.
00:17:09.000 So what about the...
00:17:10.000 I believe that there really shouldn't be any gun-free zones.
00:17:13.000 Yeah, no, I told you, I'm in favor of that.
00:17:15.000 Yeah, no, I think the only exception I would give...
00:17:15.000 Okay.
00:17:18.000 No, for schools, I totally agree with.
00:17:21.000 I think you guys should all be able to own weapons on campus, by the way.
00:17:23.000 Are you able to or no?
00:17:24.000 I don't...
00:17:25.000 Yes, no, no, yes.
00:17:26.000 Sort of.
00:17:27.000 Yeah.
00:17:30.000 You can conceal carry without a permit or with a permit?
00:17:34.000 It's constitutional carry on campus.
00:17:34.000 Without...
00:17:36.000 Yes, it is.
00:17:40.000 Okay, you guys are all telling me different things.
00:17:43.000 It's wishy-washy.
00:17:44.000 For example, I think that, to be consistent, you served in the Marine Corps.
00:17:48.000 Yes, I did.
00:17:49.000 It's crazy that you were able to carry a weapon in a theater of war, but you can't carry a weapon on a taxpayer-funded college campus.
00:17:55.000 So we agree on that.
00:17:56.000 Cool.
00:17:57.000 Thank you very much.
00:17:58.000 Hey, you have a go.
00:17:58.000 Thank you.
00:18:01.000 We're officially in that time of year where eating becomes way off-balanced.
00:18:06.000 Parties, holidays, and family gatherings always mean more snacks, more sweets, and generally indulging all the wrong foods.
00:18:11.000 As it gets darker, you just try to eat more.
00:18:13.000 You're not outside as much.

00:18:59.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:19:00.000 I've been a fan since I was 16.
00:19:02.000 I voted early.
00:19:03.000 I'm a freshman on campus.
00:19:05.000 You voted for Trump?
00:19:06.000 Good for you.
00:19:06.000 Yes, sir.
00:19:07.000 For those who aren't voting early, my question is, because misinformation is a big deal, how has misinformation affected the decisions that voters make today on who they vote for or if they decide to vote at all?
00:19:19.000 I will say that there are some mythologies out there that, let me get to it this way.
00:19:24.000 Some people will say, but Charlie, I'm not going to vote because my vote won't count.
00:19:28.000 Hold on.
00:19:28.000 Not voting is a guarantee that your vote won't count.
00:19:31.000 The entire logic is insane, okay?
00:19:34.000 By the way, how long did it take you to vote?
00:19:35.000 Time to finish.
00:19:36.000 Maybe ten minutes.
00:19:37.000 Ten minutes.
00:19:38.000 How long do you have to wait to use the restroom at this beautiful stadium?
00:19:42.000 More than that.
00:19:43.000 So let me just be clear.
00:19:43.000 Yeah.
00:19:45.000 You guys will wait in line to go, you know, take a leak at halftime at the UGA line for 30 minutes, and you can't go 10 minutes to go fill out a piece of paper to save the country.
00:19:53.000 Yeah.
00:19:54.000 Like, the arguments against voting are the dumbest I've ever heard, okay?
00:19:57.000 I agree.
00:19:57.000 And so I just think we have to challenge people that say they won't vote, say, go do it, you'll wait in line for other things, and God bless you for voting early.
00:20:05.000 All right, thank you.
00:20:05.000 And I pray we win the state.
00:20:06.000 God bless, man.
00:20:09.000 This is Clark County, am I correct?
00:20:11.000 Yeah, okay.
00:20:12.000 Hi, Mr.
00:20:13.000 Kirk.
00:20:14.000 I'm a bit nervous.
00:20:14.000 Sorry.
00:20:15.000 Sorry.
00:20:16.000 I'm an undecided voter.
00:20:18.000 I consider myself a moderate.
00:20:20.000 I think I ended up that way for a lot of reasons.
00:20:23.000 For one, I am from rural North Carolina, which some would call a Trump country.
00:20:27.000 But secondly, I am the son of Costa Rican immigrants, and I also identify as a member of the LGBT community.
00:20:32.000 Because of this, I oftentimes, in a way, feel forced to lean left.
00:20:36.000 Could you please explain why under a Trump presidency it would be more beneficial to me than a Harris presidency?
00:20:43.000 First of all, give it up.
00:20:44.000 What's your name?
00:20:45.000 Let's give it up for Brad.
00:20:45.000 Brad.
00:20:45.000 Brad, thank you.
00:20:46.000 I also have my mail-in ballot right here.
00:20:49.000 Wow, he's taunting me with that.
00:20:50.000 Show the audience.
00:20:51.000 That's his ballot right there.
00:20:53.000 Give it up for him.
00:20:54.000 He's going to make me earn this here.
00:20:57.000 So Brad, let me ask you, when you look at the issues, what issues matter most to you?
00:21:02.000 Owning a home, economy, job.
00:21:05.000 Tell me what matters most to you.
00:21:06.000 Well, I guess, obviously, like how you said, owning a home, the economy especially.
00:21:12.000 I ran out of scholarship money, so my parents are having to pay for my education out of pocket now.
00:21:17.000 So that's when the economy, obviously.
00:21:19.000 Owning a home is, I guess, a little bit more of a future issue.
00:21:22.000 And obviously, immigration is a little bit near and dear to my heart.
00:21:25.000 My parents weren't citizens at one point, too.
00:21:28.000 I remember growing up not always being middle class, so stuff like that.
00:21:36.000 Great.
00:21:37.000 So first and foremost, I want to make sure you're clear on President Trump's position.
00:21:41.000 Very much against illegal immigration, but he thinks the way your parents came was admirable and noble.
00:21:46.000 I just want to make sure we're very clear on that.
00:21:49.000 What specifically do you consider, I guess, legal?
00:21:52.000 Well, so I would imagine your parents came from Costa Rica.
00:21:56.000 How did they enter the country?
00:21:58.000 On a plane.
00:21:59.000 Yeah, on a plane.
00:22:00.000 Great.
00:22:00.000 So they came legally.
00:22:01.000 Okay, great.
00:22:02.000 So there's a big difference between that and going to the southern border and just jumping and running into the country.
00:22:07.000 Okay?
00:22:08.000 But let's talk about the economy.
00:22:09.000 And I want to just encourage you to depersonalize this election.
00:22:14.000 So when you go and vote, don't even think about Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.
00:22:17.000 Instead, when you vote, you're actually voting for 5000 people that are going to run your government, that are going to run all the different agencies.
00:22:24.000 So Donald Trump is assembling a once in a generation bipartisan unity team of people that are going to run the government, including Democrats, independents and centrists.
00:22:34.000 For example, Bobby Kennedy, the first Kennedy ever to endorse a Republican who ran for the presidency as a Democrat.
00:22:42.000 And he endorsed Donald Trump because he believes Donald Trump would be best on issues he cares about, including public health, censorship and free speech.
00:22:51.000 Tulsi Gabbard has now endorsed Donald Trump.
00:22:53.000 I'm not sure if you're familiar with her.
00:22:55.000 Yeah, she is the former co-chair of the Democrat Party and also ran for the presidency.
00:23:01.000 So Donald Trump has two former Democrat presidential candidates that have endorsed him.
00:23:05.000 And finally, I don't know if you'll find him compelling, but definitely one of the most, let's say, creative and productive entrepreneurs, Elon Musk, who has endorsed Donald Trump, who, of course, is behind Tesla, Starlink.
00:23:17.000 And I will say, you're from Western North Carolina, right?
00:23:20.000 Yes.
00:23:21.000 Where you're from, they have internet access, thanks to Elon Musk and Starlink, actually, largely.
00:23:27.000 So this team of people have come together and endorsed Trump because it's more about the 5,000 people that run the government than not.
00:23:33.000 What Kamala Harris has exhibited over the last couple of years is an agenda where it's harder to own a home, Hyperinflation is crushing people.
00:23:41.000 And also, we have mass illegal immigration on the southern border.
00:23:46.000 So I would encourage you when you go and vote, say, wow, the guy that has two former Democrat candidates together are going to represent you.
00:23:53.000 And I can understand because of the identifications you listed, you might be thrown to the left.
00:23:58.000 I'm here to tell you that there's a place for you in our movement, and we'd love to earn your vote for Donald Trump today.
00:24:03.000 Can I offer just a quick rebuttal?
00:24:05.000 Please.
00:24:06.000 Not that what you said was untrue, but I am a journalism major, so I feel like I have to ask a follow-up question.
00:24:13.000 True journalist.
00:24:14.000 Kamala Harris also has people like, I know you've talked about Liz Cheney and other Republicans that have endorsed her.
00:24:19.000 Could you just tell me?
00:24:21.000 It's a great follow-up.
00:24:22.000 I'm glad that the distinctions are so dramatic.
00:24:25.000 I don't know how you feel on this, but I'm guessing you think that the invasion of Iraq and the Afghanistan war was not a great thing.
00:24:31.000 Probably?
00:24:32.000 Well, Liz Cheney and her family were the architects of those invasions.
00:24:32.000 No.
00:24:36.000 So Kamala Harris is actually associating herself with John Bolton, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, Leon Panetta, who are the most aggressive warmongers of D.C., where Donald Trump is assembling himself with people that are promoting peace, such as Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby Kennedy.
00:24:52.000 So you're right that the Democrat Party is creating their own unity, but it's more like a uniparty than a unity ticket.
00:24:59.000 It's more about invade the world, Occupy other countries where Donald Trump has ideas that are far more consistent with traditional citizen-led values of this country.
00:25:10.000 Thank you so much.
00:25:11.000 And I won't say who I'm voting for, but when I decide, just in case, can I have a hat?
00:25:17.000 You can have a hat.
00:25:21.000 Give it up for Brad, everybody.
00:25:23.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:25:29.000 There's been a lot of talk today about limiting legal immigration, completely cutting out illegal immigration until America can deal with its internal problems.
00:25:37.000 But how do you propose we deal with the estimated 10 to 20 million illegal aliens that are already in the country?
00:25:43.000 And do you think this is a problem that a Trump administration or any administration for that matter can begin to deal with?
00:25:50.000 Yeah, as I mentioned earlier, that's why there has to be a deportation effort, but it starts with the people who committed crimes, right?
00:25:55.000 So there are hundreds of thousands of individuals that have committed crimes on newcomer status, and they must be returned to their country of origin, and then you must go through a process for the rest and, you know, figure that out.
00:26:06.000 Could I add one more point?
00:26:08.000 Sure.
00:26:10.000 How would you propose we deal with countries, and there are probably going to be a lot of them, I'd assume, that have no interest in taking back criminals?
00:26:17.000 That's a great question.
00:26:18.000 This is where America can use its incumbency.
00:26:21.000 They all need American foreign aid.
00:26:23.000 There's something that they need from America.
00:26:25.000 We're the wealthiest country ever.
00:26:26.000 So let's just use one example.
00:26:29.000 Let's say El Salvador, which is actually a very safe country now, by the way.
00:26:32.000 El Salvador has figured it out.
00:26:34.000 El Salvador will not say no to America.
00:26:36.000 They're like, hey, you know, you use your dollar as the reserve currency status.
00:26:39.000 You're going to play ball here, right?
00:26:41.000 America can use a carrot.
00:26:42.000 It can use a stick.
00:26:44.000 And since we have the power of incumbency being the richest country ever, we rarely ever use that anymore.
00:26:49.000 But under this issue, we should.
00:26:51.000 And I think that's a really, really smart question.
00:26:53.000 Thank you very much.
00:26:53.000 If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.

00:27:57.000 Shout out my boys in the back.
00:28:00.000 Which ones?
00:28:01.000 UGA track and field and cross-country.
00:28:03.000 I thought you were pointing at the Harris-Walls people.
00:28:03.000 Oh, okay.
00:28:05.000 No, no, no.
00:28:06.000 Actually, yes.
00:28:06.000 Actually, yes.
00:28:08.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:28:09.000 Sorry, sorry, sorry.
00:28:10.000 What do you run in track?
00:28:12.000 I do long distance.
00:28:13.000 I did long distance, not anymore.
00:28:14.000 That's rough.
00:28:15.000 That's tough stuff, man.
00:28:16.000 Yeah.
00:28:16.000 Anyways, my question for you was, personally, I have never liked Trump, and I am planning on voting for Harris in the upcoming election.
00:28:24.000 I haven't done it yet, but I will.
00:28:25.000 Or I think I will.
00:28:29.000 My question is, Trump talks a lot about his policies about the tariffs with these foreign countries.
00:28:36.000 I'm sure you've talked about it earlier today, but I wasn't here.
00:28:39.000 How can you explain to me that these tariffs will not increase inflation in the U.S. more?
00:28:47.000 Yeah, it's a good question.
00:28:47.000 First of all, many of the tariffs, almost all of them that Donald Trump put in place, Biden kept because they're very good.
00:28:53.000 Let me ask you a question.
00:28:54.000 It's not a gotcha question.
00:28:55.000 How does one avoid a tariff?
00:28:58.000 That's okay.
00:28:59.000 If you make the product in America, then it's tariff-free.
00:29:03.000 And so what you do is you drive domestic production.
00:29:06.000 So let me give you one example that you guys all might be able to relate to.
00:29:09.000 Who here has seen or knows a Toyota pickup truck?
00:29:12.000 Every hand's gonna go up, right?
00:29:13.000 Very popular, right?
00:29:15.000 So Toyota is a Japanese car company.
00:29:18.000 And Lyndon Baines Johnson put on a significant, I believe it's 25%, pickup trucks tariff all the way back in the 1960s.
00:29:26.000 It was this kind of arbitrary saying, if you make a pickup truck, it has to be made in America or else it's 25%.
00:29:30.000 Where does Toyota make all their pickup trucks?
00:29:32.000 Here, in America, actually.
00:29:34.000 And so what it does is it drives domestic production and employs more Americans.
00:29:39.000 Rising wages.
00:29:40.000 Because on the inverse, what have we seen over the last 40 years?
00:29:43.000 The last 40 years we've seen mass de-industrialization, we saw the decaying of the inner part of the country, and there was a deal that was cut.
00:29:50.000 And the deal that was cut is that we're going to shut down American factories, we're going to then re-import all the stuff that we used to make here into the country, a bunch of plastic and cheap stuff, and make us wealthier.
00:30:02.000 Turns out that never actually materialized.
00:30:04.000 Okay, but what I was trying to say is these countries like China and Korea, where we get cheaper labor from Vietnam, Laos, India.
00:30:17.000 So if you bring the production back to the U.S., will it not cause these items to increase in price?
00:30:22.000 They might modestly increase in price, but it will be made by an American.
00:30:26.000 And I will say this, but it will be a higher quality good.
00:30:29.000 I think we can all agree that you would rather pay a little bit more for less stuff if it's made in America, if it's higher quality.
00:30:36.000 So it's going to be more expensive then?
00:30:38.000 Not by definition, though.
00:30:40.000 That's what you just said, though.
00:30:41.000 It could be.
00:30:42.000 Again, it could be.
00:30:43.000 But let me give you just like a theoretical example, which is if you are going to buy a clothing, not even just a clothing item, but any product, does it matter where it's made at all to you?
00:30:55.000 Not necessarily.
00:30:56.000 Okay, so that's where we disagree.
00:30:57.000 I think I actually try to buy American whenever I can, and maybe I'm a sucker for that stuff.
00:31:00.000 I know for you, like, but there's some people that, like, I know for us, like, for me and you and probably most people here, like, a little bit price difference won't make a difference, but that's, like, the whole point of, like, what Kamala Harris is campaigning about is for, like, the middle class people who aren't as lucky as us.
00:31:15.000 Yeah, she's not.
00:31:16.000 I'm just going to tell you right now.
00:31:17.000 She's not?
00:31:18.000 No, it's all a bunch of lies, actually.
00:31:20.000 It's a lie?
00:31:21.000 How is the middle class done under her?
00:31:21.000 How?
00:31:24.000 She's not president.
00:31:25.000 Well, she is vice president.
00:31:26.000 Yeah.
00:31:27.000 And she said she wouldn't do anything different than Joe Biden.
00:31:31.000 Yeah, but I watched that.
00:31:32.000 I know the interview you're talking about.
00:31:33.000 No, it's like four or five times she said that.
00:31:35.000 Okay.
00:31:35.000 And so let's just be very clear.
00:31:37.000 She said she won't do anything different than Biden.
00:31:39.000 By the way, just so we're clear, she's receiving more money from billionaires than Donald Trump.
00:31:42.000 This whole thing that she's going to fight for the middle class is a fraud.
00:31:46.000 She's explained her tax brackets that will help lift up the middle class, will it not?
00:31:50.000 No.
00:31:50.000 I mean, again, you're falling for propaganda because here's the thing.
00:31:54.000 How did the middle class do under Donald Trump?
00:31:56.000 The middle class had a renaissance, the likes of which we've never seen before in American history.
00:31:59.000 Under Biden-Harris, the middle class has gotten crushed.
00:32:02.000 But here's how you actually make products cheaper.
00:32:05.000 The number one thing that is driving inflation, two things, energy and cheap money.
00:32:10.000 You stop the over excess of government spending and you drill baby drill.
00:32:13.000 But again, I would just ask the question, if Kamala Harris was going to do all those things, why hasn't she done any of that in the last four years?
00:32:19.000 I mean, there's nothing really for her to do as vice president.
00:32:23.000 I don't know really what you expect her to do.
00:32:24.000 Right now she could say, let me just give you one example.
00:32:24.000 Well, hold on.
00:32:27.000 She could tweet out, I am structing the Internal Revenue Service to no longer collect tax on tips.
00:32:32.000 But she won't do that because she actually doesn't believe in it.
00:32:35.000 Because she stole it from Donald Trump's campaign.
00:32:37.000 She right now could just say, I as vice president, being in charge of the border, am completely shutting down the border and will not allow another individual into the United States of America.
00:32:45.000 But she won't do that because she's using it as like a campaign rhetoric thing.
00:32:48.000 And I would just encourage you to look at...
00:32:50.000 All the guesswork is done.
00:32:51.000 When Donald Trump was president, the lower-income earners actually saw their wages rise faster than the wealthy individuals.
00:32:57.000 You want to buy a home?
00:32:58.000 When Harris invited him to be president, average home prices are $135,000 a year in order to get a home.
00:33:03.000 It was $75,000 under Trump.
00:33:05.000 And I can tell you're coming after this in a really good way.
00:33:07.000 I'll just say, Detach yourself from the paid-for propaganda.
00:33:11.000 This idea that Kamala Harris will fight for the middle class is a complete fabrication.
00:33:16.000 You know who she will fight for?
00:33:18.000 She'll fight for the foreigner that's invading the country.
00:33:21.000 She'll fight for, for example, if you break into America, you get a luxury hotel, you get taxpayer-funded benefits, and it routinely puts the American citizen and taxpayer last.
00:33:32.000 Alright, well, thank you for your time.
00:33:33.000 Appreciate the dialogue.
00:33:34.000 Yeah, sure, of course.
00:33:35.000 Thank you.
00:33:36.000 Oh, sorry.
00:33:37.000 Thank you.
00:33:37.000 Thank you.
00:33:38.000 Yep.
00:33:40.000 First of all, go Dawgs.
00:33:43.000 I'm actually not in college.
00:33:45.000 I'm a junior in high school.
00:33:46.000 But I want to say, shout out to my grandma.
00:33:49.000 She actually drove me here.
00:33:52.000 Grandma!
00:33:54.000 She's actually the executive director of Georgia Right to Life.
00:34:00.000 I want to say also I am a Christian, so go Jesus Christ, that's my guy.
00:34:04.000 But I wanted to say I have three younger siblings, two of which are 11 and almost three, so I wanted to say What's advice for steering them in the right direction as they grow up in this next presidency era?
00:34:17.000 Just with all the LGBTQ propaganda and stuff, what do you think is the best way to steer them away from that, but with a Christian basis, I guess?
00:34:27.000 It's a great question.
00:34:28.000 By the way, good that the high school is here, so that's awesome.
00:34:32.000 Put God first and try to make Bible reading a regular discipline in your family.
00:34:37.000 And the only one of the Ten Commandments that involves, this is what you tell your siblings, the only one of the Ten Commandments that involves a promise in your nation, you know which one it is?
00:34:46.000 Is it the commandment about honoring your father and mother?
00:34:47.000 Exactly, yeah.
00:34:48.000 Honor your mother and father so that you may live long in the land of which you are in.
00:34:52.000 You need to be an example to your siblings about honoring and submitting to your parents, even when it's difficult.
00:34:57.000 And your siblings will have a better life if they submit to your parents, as long as your parents aren't abusive, which I can't imagine they are, right?
00:35:04.000 And so it's going to be difficult, but your siblings will look at you, about how you treat your parents, and that will keep your family closer together and closer to God.
00:35:11.000 Thank you very much.
00:35:13.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
