00:02:48.000 Okay, everybody, that was a dynamic press conference President Trump was holding at Mar-a-Lago.
00:02:54.000 I want to just emphasize what he said at the end, the tale of that, that Zelensky has to be ready to make a deal.
00:03:00.000 You know, that is a statement that not a single major American politician has said since the beginning of the war.
00:03:08.000 It's always, oh, we have to just support Ukraine until they win.
00:03:10.000 We have to defeat the Russian monster.
00:03:13.000 Okay, but what about making a deal?
00:03:16.000 Coming to the table, ending this war.
00:03:18.000 President Trump also commented on Pete Hegseth, and he says he loves the military.
00:03:25.000 He loves the military a lot, and he has the back 100%.
00:03:27.000 He also commented on the drones flying over New Jersey, saying that there's something weird going on there.
00:03:35.000 By the way, we're going to be covering a lot of ground on the drone story.
00:03:38.000 But isn't it refreshing just to hear from a president who is able to, without any notes, any preparedness, take open questions from the media, be able to have back and forth, dive into any possible topic, Syria, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, economy, soft bank, investment, inflation, TikTok. soft bank, investment, inflation, TikTok.
00:03:58.000 President Trump says he has a very warm spot for TikTok.
00:04:01.000 He says that in the press conference.
00:04:03.000 No teleprompter, no rehearsed, just off the cuff, what's the best question you have?
00:04:10.000 Masterclass in handling the media and directing the news cycle.
00:04:14.000 And I think they're trying to hand over a damaged country to President Trump.
00:04:18.000 We already know what they've done with inflation and the open border.
00:04:20.000 But there's some suspicious stuff, not just happening with the drones, but internationally there are some things bubbling up.
00:04:25.000 With Syria, Russia, Ukraine, the Israel situation.
00:04:29.000 And President Trump is about to be handed...
00:04:32.000 Very difficult situation on January the 20th.
00:04:34.000 And that is, by the way, an interference and an interruption in the peaceful transition of power.
00:04:41.000 Isn't the whole idea of the peaceful transition of power that you're not going to try to ruin the country on the way out?
00:04:46.000 President Trump is going to be inheriting new problems that he wasn't even campaigning against.
00:04:50.000 Problems that he was not even able to bring and advocate to the American people.
00:04:56.000 Our next guest is Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller.
00:04:59.000 He is leading vets for Pete Hegseth, all about Pete Hegseth's confirmation battle.
00:05:03.000 And also, we're going to talk about drones over New Jersey.
00:05:06.000 By the way, I'm curious.
00:05:07.000 Email me, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:05:08.000 What do you think these drones are?
00:05:10.000 What do you think it is?
00:05:11.000 Email me, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:05:12.000 Joining us now is Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller.
00:05:15.000 Honored to have him on the program, who is leading a charge to help confirm Pete Hegseth's Great to see you, sir.
00:05:22.000 Thank you for taking the time.
00:05:23.000 Please introduce your background on how you first met Pete Hegseth and why you're so passionate for his confirmation.
00:05:29.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:05:30.000 Thanks for having me on.
00:05:31.000 I'm a lieutenant colonel from the United States Marine Corps, served in Iraq and Afghanistan, combat vet.
00:05:37.000 My whole life has been serving this country over the GWAT generation, the same wars that Pete Hegseth bought in.
00:05:44.000 I got out under weird circumstances on August 26, 2021, during the Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:05:51.000 It was just a long list of mistakes that I saw.
00:05:53.000 You know, I've got a master's in military science.
00:05:55.000 I've been studying foreign policy my whole career.
00:05:57.000 And it was just obvious the mistakes that were happening.
00:06:00.000 And I had been playing the game long enough to know that no one was going to be held accountable.
00:06:03.000 So I made a video in my uniform demanding accountability of my senior military leaders.
00:06:08.000 And at the time, I didn't mention any politician and it wasn't political.
00:06:11.000 I thought holding senior military leaders accountable would be like one of the last apolitical things we could all agree upon.
00:06:18.000 But when you get thrust into the stratosphere of these types of things, it's hyper-political, and that's kind of what happened.
00:06:25.000 Every headline was, Lieutenant Colonel Scheller criticizes President Biden, when at the time I wasn't saying anything about President Biden.
00:06:31.000 I was just sick of the apathy and the lack of accountability in the senior military ranks.
00:06:36.000 Well, after that, I was fired, later given a gag order, imprisoned in solitary confinement, court-martialed, and drummed out of the military, short of my retirement.
00:06:44.000 And that was a six-month process.
00:06:46.000 It didn't happen quickly.
00:06:47.000 I didn't make a single interview during that whole process.
00:06:50.000 Meanwhile, the media was slandering me.
00:06:52.000 The Marine Corps released my medical records to an article called Task and Purpose.
00:06:57.000 They were comparing me to all these things, the classic Hitler, white supremacist, all the things that the left will try and do.
00:07:05.000 At the time, I wasn't even familiar with all that because I was just a Marine and wanted to serve my country.
00:07:09.000 country, I was like thrown in the fire of getting a PhD in left-wing political tactics.
00:07:15.000 So I got out Christmas Eve, 2021, and then I hit the media circuit for the first time.
00:07:21.000 And I did all the shows.
00:07:22.000 I did Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Laura Ingram, Jocko's podcast.
00:07:26.000 I went on the PBD podcast.
00:07:28.000 But one of them was Pete Hegsess.
00:07:30.000 So I did a Fox and Friends hit with him.
00:07:32.000 And then I ended up writing a book.
00:07:34.000 And when the book came out, I went out and promoted, did another hit with Pete.
00:07:37.000 And then he actually brought me to Tennessee to do a one-hour in-person segment called Modern Warriors.
00:07:43.000 And actually, Walt, the incoming National Security Advisor, was one of the five people.
00:07:48.000 So it's kind of an interesting show.
00:07:49.000 And you go back and look at that now of all the picks.
00:07:51.000 But Pete's just, to me, always been one of those down-to-earth guys.
00:07:55.000 I feel like In a lot of ways, I see myself in him and I think that's why all the warriors are rallying around him.
00:08:01.000 And so, you know, after I wrote my book, I did media for another two years, everyone wanted me to go into politics and I'm just not a politician.
00:08:08.000 I've always loved the military and been focused on wanting to make the military stronger.
00:08:12.000 And I kind of just went out and started living life, started a business and dropped out a little bit.
00:08:17.000 And it wasn't until Pete got the nomination And everyone started attacking and canceling him with the anonymous sources that I felt the need to get involved.
00:08:25.000 So how have those meetings been going and what exactly are you doing to help lobby people on Capitol Hill for Pete Hegseth?
00:08:33.000 Yeah, the takeaway is, bottom line, the warrior class overwhelmingly wants Pete Hegseth.
00:08:40.000 I mean, I called everyone.
00:08:41.000 I mean, if you remember Scott Mann, the Operation Pineapple guy, if you remember Matthew Lohmeyer, who asked the question of President Trump, I've talked to all these guys on the phone, the Black Rifle Coffee guys, Eddie Gallagher.
00:08:53.000 I mean, the list goes on and on.
00:08:54.000 I've talked to probably 50 influential military influencers.
00:08:58.000 Not a single one doesn't I've spoken to the congressmen that I respect the most, whether it's Mast, Mills, these actual warriors of our generation, they all support Pete Hegseth.
00:09:11.000 And so first step was making sure that I could get the pulse of the community.
00:09:16.000 And once I realized that the pulse of the community Absolutely wanted him.
00:09:19.000 I had to figure out how I could unify this voice.
00:09:23.000 So what I've done is I've gathered up all the petitions out there because there's a Navy SEAL petition with over 3,000 signatures.
00:09:30.000 There's a Heritage Foundation petition.
00:09:32.000 There's a Green Beret petition.
00:09:34.000 There's a Vets for Pete petition.
00:09:36.000 So I've gathered all of these up.
00:09:38.000 And then I plan to go up to Capitol Hill on Wednesday and meet with U.S. senators and their staffs that are willing to To talk to me.
00:09:46.000 So I've got at least 10 meetings on Wednesday, which is huge.
00:09:49.000 And, you know, one of them, like Rickett's office, who's meeting with us, he's the chair of the Senate Armed Forces Committee, being able to hand him these petitions and tell him exactly what I'm telling you.
00:09:59.000 You know, Pete Hegseth is obviously a smart guy, Princeton, Harvard, great orator on Fox and Friends.
00:10:04.000 But the reason that veterans want him so bad is because he's an outside establishment pick.
00:10:08.000 Not only as a combat veteran from our generation, but the last two general officers have literally gone from the board of the military-industrial complex to SECDEP, and then they go back.
00:10:19.000 Austin is Raytheon.
00:10:20.000 Mattis was General Dynamics.
00:10:22.000 Dunford, Lockheed Martin.
00:10:24.000 I mean, it's...
00:10:25.000 The ties of the military-industrial complex is a real problem, but even more so, these senior military leaders that get selected, they protect the status quo.
00:10:33.000 Why?
00:10:33.000 Because their authority comes from navigating the current system, and the current system is what needs overhauled, and that's why I think someone like Pete Hegseth is so important.
00:10:46.000 Are you ready to lose weight but not sure where to start?
00:10:48.000 I understand.
00:10:48.000 I was right where you are two years ago.
00:10:50.000 Let me tell you why I chose the PhD weight loss and nutrition program.
00:10:54.000 First, Dr. Ashley Lucas has her PhD in chronic disease and sports nutrition.
00:10:58.000 Her program is based on years of research and is science-based.
00:11:00.000 Second, the PhD program starts in nutrition.
00:11:03.000 There is so much more.
00:11:03.000 They know that 90% of permanent change comes from the mind and they work on eliminating the reason you gain this weight in the first place.
00:11:09.000 There's no shortcuts, pills, or injections, just solid science-based nutrition and behavior change.
00:11:13.000 And finally, a probably most importantly, I lost 30 pounds.
00:11:16.000 Look, they're amazing.
00:11:17.000 If you want to lose weight, you've got to go to myphdweightloss.com.
00:11:20.000 I was just texting with Dr. Ash Lucas today.

00:11:29.000 Do what I did and what hundreds of my listeners have done and call today, 864-644-1900.
00:11:34.000 I recommend their program.
00:11:36.000 Dr. Ashley Lucas has her PhD in chronic disease and sports nutrition.
00:11:39.000 Her program is based on years of research and is science-based.
00:11:42.000 Second, the PhD program starts in nutrition, but it's so much more.
00:11:46.000 Go to myphdweightloss.com, myphdweightloss.com.
00:11:49.000 Call 864-644-1900.
00:11:52.000 I lost over 30 pounds.
00:11:53.000 Dr. Ashley Lucas, great American.
00:11:55.000 Check it out, myphdweightloss.com.
00:11:59.000 So, can you add more to that distinction of the warrior class versus the highly credentialed general class?
00:12:07.000 One of the reasons you made the video you did at the time, and I want to play that video here, this is cut 23, when you were relieved of your post, is that you did not feel as if we were a mighty fighting force up against the enemies that wish to kill us.
00:12:23.000 Play cut 23. We have a Secretary of Defense that testified to Congress in May that the Afghan National Security Force could withstand the Taliban advance.
00:12:31.000 We have chairmen of Joint Chiefs, who the commandant is a member of that.
00:12:34.000 We're supposed to advise on military policy.
00:12:37.000 We have a Marine combatant commander.
00:12:41.000 All of these people are supposed to advise.
00:12:42.000 And I'm not saying we've got to be in Afghanistan forever, but I am saying Did any of you throw your rank on the table and say, hey, it's a bad idea to evacuate Bagram Airfield, the Strategic Airberries, before we evacuate everyone?
00:12:54.000 Did anyone do that?
00:12:56.000 And when you didn't think to do that, did anyone raise their hand and say, we completely messed this up?
00:13:00.000 And from my position, potentially all those people did die in vain if we don't have senior leaders that own up and raise their hand and say, we did not do this well in the end.
00:13:15.000 What happened after you made that video?
00:13:19.000 It got real weird, Charlie.
00:13:20.000 After I made that video, I was fired the next day immediately.
00:13:24.000 I knew that I was risking my career.
00:13:26.000 If you watched that video in its entirety, I'd call the shot.
00:13:28.000 I'd say, I know I'm risking my career, my retirement, my family's stability.
00:13:31.000 I did end up losing really all three of those things.
00:13:34.000 But there should have been an investigation that took place.
00:13:36.000 But like I told you, I was shot right into the political realm.
00:13:39.000 The cardinal sin in the military is making your bosses look bad.
00:13:42.000 And so I was fired immediately.
00:13:43.000 And I was told at that time that if I just shut my mouth, that the generals would take care of me.
00:13:49.000 So the best case scenario...
00:13:51.000 I would be hidden in a cubicle and make PowerPoints for some general officer for the next three years limping towards my retirement.
00:13:57.000 And I just knew I couldn't live my life that way, number one.
00:14:00.000 And number two, I fully believed all those comments I made and no one was addressing the content of my statements.
00:14:05.000 And that's what really deeply bothered me.
00:14:07.000 So it became this fight, you know, and I continued to fight all the way to the end.
00:14:11.000 So, if Pete Hegseth is to be confirmed as Secretary of Defense, what can he do from a policy perspective to better prepare the American military to fight our enemies?
00:14:23.000 Yep.
00:14:24.000 So, Matthew Lohmeyer, there's a lot of people out there advocating to get rid of woke generals, and I think there's a lot of generals that need to get cleaned out.
00:14:33.000 Historical precedence for George Marshall after World War I is probably the best example.
00:14:38.000 That being said, just going after wokeism is actually attacking the symptom, not the root cause.
00:14:43.000 The root cause is that you have general officers that it takes 40 years to make a four-star general.
00:14:49.000 Every evaluation for an officer in the military is a subjective evaluation, i.e.
00:14:53.000 I'm trying to please my boss and get a higher evaluation than my four peers.
00:14:57.000 And so the people that are four-star generals have literally pleased their boss for 40 years more so than all of their peers that are competing for the same jobs.
00:15:05.000 And I'll tell you what, it should be based on the best performers, but pleasing your boss and being the best performer diverge at certain places in your career.
00:15:14.000 Anyone that's worked at a bureaucracy understands this.
00:15:16.000 And so the reason why wokeism is so prevalent, one, because some of the moves that President Obama too made, But two more importantly, the general officers are so fickle, they care most about self-advancement, and they'll do whatever is the topic du jour, and they have no backbone.
00:15:32.000 I mean, when Carter Hamm was in Germany and Benghazi took place, and he was watching on screens Americans fighting 1v1,000, and he had eight military options, and he was told to stand down, and he did.
00:15:42.000 Why?
00:15:43.000 Because he's conditioned to please his boss, and that's what all general officers do.
00:15:46.000 I think what Pete Hegseth needs to do is he needs to get into the military, He needs to clean out a lot of the archaic leadership, but then he needs to implement a performance-based system.
00:15:54.000 Because at the end of the day, if you've got the best performer, if I as an infantry officer go against another infantry officer and the best one wins and whatever that competition is, then all other things go away.
00:16:05.000 Because the focus of the military should always be on lethality and winning.
00:16:08.000 And so, how did we get away from lethality, winning, destroying the enemy?
00:16:16.000 What specifically, what year, what period of time did that start to change?
00:16:21.000 You know, you look back to the last generation that won a war, it was World War II, and we didn't have the national security establishment then.
00:16:28.000 World War II is when we literally built the national security establishment that we have today.
00:16:32.000 It went through the National Security Act of 44, 47, 50. And then finally, what structured what we have now is the Goldwater-Nichols Act after Vietnam.
00:16:41.000 Where we really went off the rails was Vietnam.
00:16:43.000 I mean, Korea was still a generation of World War II vets and the rigid structure of the current DOD was not in place yet.
00:16:50.000 What happened was we created this military industrial complex.
00:16:53.000 We created this system of officers that are self-pleasing.
00:16:57.000 And in Vietnam, what we did after our loss, instead of going back and holding the general officers accountable, we let the general officers sing the song that it was the draft and the drugs and it was the junior service member.
00:17:07.000 And what we really did was we empowered these general officers that failed.
00:17:10.000 I mean, if you go look at someone like Khe San, where we lost hundreds of thousands of lives and then it was strategically important one year and then not the next year.
00:17:18.000 I mean, these are huge failures that no general officers were held accountable.
00:17:20.000 The massacre in Vietnam, My Lai massacre, if you look at that, only company grade officers were held accountable.
00:17:27.000 No general officers.
00:17:28.000 So somewhere along the way, starting with Vietnam stopped holding general officers accountable and we need to get back to that.
00:17:34.000 And I think this is such a breath of fresh air when we're talking about President Trump and Pete Hegseth.
00:17:40.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:41.000 If you ever had a doubt that there's a war on the unborn, you now know beyond a doubt that is the case.
00:17:45.000 It'd be easy to give up, but you know I'll never give up on giving the truth to girls and women who the other side want to choose death for their baby.
00:17:51.000 I'm standing for life no matter what the other side says, and we're going to save more babies than ever before to show them that truth will win out.
00:17:57.000 It can only be shared with girls and women who will make the right choice.

00:18:43.000 Lieutenant, what is going on with these drones on the east coast of the United States right now?
00:18:48.000 Yeah, there's only a few things that the drones would be up there for.
00:18:51.000 And at the middle of the night, it really dwindles it down.
00:18:54.000 So I'll start with the government absolutely knows what's going on.
00:18:58.000 We have such a robust capability that, first of all, they know what's going on.
00:19:03.000 Second of all, what they are doing is really the deeper question.
00:19:06.000 The best guess that I can come up with is some type of CBRN, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear detection system, or they're just testing capabilities.
00:19:15.000 But it is disheartening that the government, John Kirby, no one is being transparent about it.
00:19:21.000 I think it's just another head shake in the long list of things that don't make sense.
00:19:27.000 We, the people, probably deserve answers, especially with the coverage this is getting.
00:19:30.000 But my position is that it's the government.
00:19:33.000 Yeah, and so if it is the government, what would they possibly be doing, sending drones in the sky to surveil us, to be looking for something?
00:19:43.000 Yeah, like I said, there's only a couple reasons you would do it.
00:19:46.000 One would be a training op.
00:19:47.000 Two would be you're looking for somebody, which you probably wouldn't do at night.
00:19:51.000 Or three, you're using a different type of detection capability to try and find something, like a CBRN capability.
00:19:57.000 So if they're actually employing it, that would be my best guess.
00:20:01.000 Or they're just gauging the temperature of the American people and what the reactions would be.
00:20:06.000 But this is absolutely something the government knows what's going on.
00:20:09.000 Going back to our original topic here in closing, do you believe Pete Hegseth will be confirmed?
00:20:15.000 And how can our audience help?
00:20:16.000 I believe Pete Hegseth will be confirmed.
00:20:18.000 We have the three senators that are on the fence.
00:20:21.000 I think Joni Ernst is coming around.
00:20:23.000 You know, I look back at Secretary Austin, and there was only two votes for no against him.
00:20:28.000 One of them was Josh Hawley.
00:20:30.000 And I'll tell you what, right now, Republicans sitting at 53 votes, we can't afford to lose a single one.
00:20:37.000 And for all the Republicans that voted for Lloyd Austin, he was maybe one of the worst secretaries of defense we've had in a long time.
00:20:43.000 Resetting the military is critical.
00:20:45.000 Recruiting rates down significantly.
00:20:48.000 Warfighting capability down significantly.
00:20:50.000 We need a disruptor.
00:20:51.000 We need someone like Pete Hegseth.
00:20:52.000 If you want to support him, you can go to my website, AuthenticAmericans.com.
00:20:56.000 We have a petition.
00:20:57.000 Or you can find one of the petitions floating around on X. All of those will make their way to me.
00:21:01.000 And at the end of the day, call your senator.
00:21:03.000 Please call your senator and let them know that you support Pete Hegseth.
00:21:07.000 We the people need Pete Hegseth.
00:21:09.000 Yes, we do.
00:21:10.000 And any senator that stands in the way that's a Republican will face a primary challenge, especially if they voted for Lloyd Austin.
00:21:18.000 Thank you so much.
00:21:19.000 God bless you, sir.
00:21:20.000 Thank you.
