00:01:28.000 Joining us now is the amazing Tulsi Gabbard.
00:01:32.000 We have a lot of events coming up with Tulsi Gabbard that we're going to be announcing soon.
00:01:35.000 Tulsi, welcome to the program.
00:01:37.000 So the media is accusing me and others of spreading disinformation on FEMA. You were recently on the ground and you saw firsthand what is true and not true.
00:01:45.000 Certainly, if FEMA is actually doing a good job, and we want to be supportive, but they're not, we have an obligation to call them out.
00:01:52.000 What did you see on the ground in North Carolina?
00:01:55.000 You know, when FEMA says we are out there and on the ground and we are knocking on people's doors and offering assistance, maybe they're doing it.
00:02:03.000 But I can tell you from my time there on the ground, the folks that I talked to who were off the beaten path in some of the most hard hit We're good to go.
00:02:30.000 Pay for contractors to clear debris from a dam that's at danger of breaking, creating yet another disaster upon this disaster.
00:02:38.000 I ended up running into someone from FEMA at an emergency operations center a couple
00:02:44.000 of counties away from them, delivered this message and got a little bit of a shrugged
00:02:49.000 response saying, oh yeah, that sounds like something for the Army Corps of Engineers.
00:02:52.000 It did not inspire confidence in me, Charlie, that they have a very good handle on what's
00:02:58.000 going on on the ground.
00:03:00.000 And it frankly reminded me a lot of what we saw and experienced in Maui after the tragic
00:03:06.000 and historic fires that completely razed the town of Lahaina to the ground.
00:03:10.000 FEMA said, we're on the ground.
00:03:12.000 We're delivering $700 per affected family.
00:03:15.000 But what I saw in Maui was similar to what I saw there in North Carolina, which is you have people wearing FEMA jackets in emergency operations centers, perhaps, far away from many of these towns that have been almost completely wiped off the map.
00:03:30.000 That's a big problem when you're going out to those folks who have been most affected and they have yet to see anyone from the federal government coming out there and at a minimum just saying, hey, I'm here for you.
00:03:42.000 Tell me what you need.
00:03:43.000 What's the most urgent problem that you guys are facing?
00:03:46.000 And let me see how we can help solve it.
00:03:49.000 FEMA is such a huge bureaucracy.
00:03:53.000 Oftentimes they're putting their workers up in fancy hotels and Using our taxpayer dollars in ways, ultimately, bottom line, not getting to all of those who need help the most.
00:04:05.000 So Tulsi, how does this contrast with previous disaster responses?
00:04:10.000 Obviously, Hawaii was bad.
00:04:12.000 Is this a Biden-Harris administration problem?
00:04:14.000 Is this just a new standard operating procedure?
00:04:17.000 Is this another example of just the decline of the country that is enveloped by this nonsensical bureaucracy?
00:04:25.000 It seems as if we're a country that can no longer do the basic things.
00:04:30.000 And when our citizens need help the most, we kind of turn our back on it.
00:04:34.000 Is this a recent development and what is the best possible explanation for it?
00:04:39.000 Unfortunately, in my home state of Hawaii, I've been through a number of different disasters.
00:04:45.000 We've had active volcano and lava flow taking out entire communities.
00:04:49.000 We've had hurricanes, we've had floods, we've had a historic, the most tragic fire in our country's history in over a hundred years.
00:04:58.000 We've seen a lot of these natural disasters and almost in every single case We've seen the FEMA bureaucracy taking far too long to kick into gear in a way that's actually meaningful and helpful.
00:05:12.000 I don't doubt that government leaders are having conversations on the phone, but the reality is, are they really showing up on the ground immediately where the people need help the most?
00:05:23.000 As you know, perception is reality, and too often in these cases, the perception is that the federal government is nowhere to be found, and yet we as taxpayers obviously are funding What is the number one emergency management agency in the federal government?
00:05:38.000 What I really look at is leadership and the importance of leadership, especially during extreme times of need.
00:05:46.000 If we have leaders who care at every level, at the federal level and at the state level, if we have leaders who care, imagine that every one of those people affected is your sister or brother or child or parent.
00:05:59.000 You would go to the ends of the earth, kicking down doors, cutting through red tape to be there for them, to deliver what you can.
00:06:07.000 And note there, of course, there are obstacles, naturally.
00:06:10.000 But if we have leaders who care, bottom line is they make it happen.
00:06:15.000 They will find a way. So, Tulsi, it's also just a priorities problem.
00:06:20.000 We've spent a couple hundred billion dollars on Ukraine, and it seems as if Kamala comes in and says, here's $750, peasants, have a nice time.
00:06:30.000 You're right about care and concern.
00:06:32.000 Why is it that the Uniparty in D.C., and Donald Trump is exempt from this, cares far more about funding Zelensky's lifestyle and the pension funds of Ukraine than our own citizens?
00:06:46.000 You know, I was thinking about that this morning, Charlie, when I'm hearing these statements coming from the White House about how, well, you know, we're not going to, Secretary Mayorkas of Homeland Security, we're not going to have enough money to be able to provide this emergency support to people, and it's different pots of money going to fund illegal immigrants.
00:07:04.000 Their emergency housing and their emergency food and support needs, but people who've seen in North Carolina and in some of these other states, their homes being completely swept away, who don't have a vehicle, who don't have a home.
00:07:16.000 Maybe they lost their business as well.
00:07:19.000 I don't see that immediate deployment of, hey, here's a place for you to live.
00:07:24.000 Here's a vehicle for you to use for these American citizens.
00:07:27.000 And they're stuck on like, well, this pot of money and that pot of money.
00:07:30.000 Go to Congress. Move the money from one place to another, whatever you need to do.
00:07:35.000 But then I thought this morning, Charlie, You know, somehow when it comes to Ukraine, you remember more than a few times we've seen the Department of Defense say, hey guys, guess what?
00:07:43.000 We just found $4 billion that we didn't know was there, so we're going to hurry up and send that $4 billion to Ukraine.
00:07:52.000 We saw emergency funding going out to humanitarian crises in Lebanon just the other day.
00:07:58.000 Somehow, the permanent Washington establishment, the unit party that is the war party, they find a way to continue to fund these wars that are not only not in our interest, they're actually counterproductive to our own national security.
00:08:13.000 They put us at greater risk of World War III and nuclear war.
00:08:17.000 But when it comes down to our fellow Americans, facing some of the worst disasters that they've ever seen
00:08:24.000 and that our country has seen, they come up with these excuses saying,
00:08:28.000 well, hey, we've already spent $200 million.
00:08:30.000 Like, okay, got it.
00:08:32.000 You just sent another $8 billion without congressional appropriation
00:08:36.000 just a couple of weeks ago to Zelensky who showed up and knocked on your door
00:08:40.000 with his handout for more money.
00:08:42.000 What about these residents in North Carolina who are applying for $750 of relief from FEMA
00:08:47.000 and being turned down?
00:08:50.000 It's unexplainable and inexcusable in my view.
00:08:53.000 And it is directly in the hands and on the lap of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden this is happening.
00:08:58.000 Of course it is, because foreign abstractions matter a lot more than the immediate concern of the citizens of the country.
00:09:04.000 So we only have a minute here, but I have to play this, and I want to just get your reaction on this.
00:09:09.000 There's a new term called disaster equity.
00:09:11.000 This is your government's disaster preparedness meeting, talking about the focus should be on LGBTQIA people.
00:09:19.000 They struggled before the storm, is what your government says.
00:09:23.000 Play Cut 27. LGBTQIA people and people who have been disadvantaged already are struggling.
00:09:31.000 They already have their own things to deal with.
00:09:35.000 So you add a disaster on top of that, it's just compounding on itself.
00:09:42.000 And I think that is maybe The why of why we're having these discussions is because it isn't being talked about.
00:09:50.000 It isn't being socialized.
00:09:52.000 We're not paying attention to this community.
00:09:55.000 The shift that we're seeing right now is a shift in emergency management from utilitarian principles where everything is designed for the greatest good, for the greatest amount of people, to disaster equity.
00:10:08.000 I guess it's no longer about helping people, but it's disaster equity.
00:10:11.000 I feel simultaneously like I want to cry and like I want to scream.
00:10:16.000 This makes me so angry to see that they are not just, this is why they're not doing their job.
00:10:22.000 This is why they're failing.
00:10:24.000 If they were focused solely on delivering resources to those who need it the most, I don't care what your sexuality is.
00:10:30.000 I don't care about anything else.
00:10:32.000 You are our fellow American.
00:10:33.000 You need help. The federal government needs to be there.
00:10:36.000 Period. Full stop. They're creating a caste system of who gets the resources of the taxpayers based on completely irrelevant criteria.
00:10:45.000 Every citizen deserves help, but disaster equity, so we're not going to help certain people based on your sexual preferences?
00:10:52.000 I mean, this is really dark stuff.
00:10:57.000 Okay, everybody, I'll have something to offer you today, something absolutely free.

00:11:54.000 That is CharlieForHillsdale.com.
00:11:59.000 Tulsi, I want to play some tape here.
00:12:01.000 Kamala Harris is on a bizarre media blitz.
00:12:04.000 It's not going well for her.
00:12:05.000 Kamala Harris is obviously not seeing the voter registration or the internal polling that she likes.
00:12:11.000 Otherwise, she would have no reason to be doing this sort of media circuit.
00:12:16.000 I want you to react to this.
00:12:18.000 This is a very important tape here where Kamala Harris says that Donald Trump would terminate the Constitution of the United States.
00:12:27.000 Play cut 52. People are saying this could be the closest election in a century.
00:12:33.000 I personally cannot understand why anyone would vote for him.
00:12:36.000 A lot of it is, I think, people are getting bad information from other channels.
00:12:40.000 But do you have an explanation for this at all?
00:12:44.000 Well, let me just add to your list.
00:12:45.000 I mean...
00:12:47.000 Listen, it's only an hour set.
00:12:51.000 Including, he has said he would terminate the Constitution of the United States.
00:12:57.000 Tulsi, your reaction to the women of The View?
00:13:00.000 Actions. Let's look at actions.
00:13:03.000 Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Tim Walz.
00:13:08.000 These are all people who, in different words, have said very recently that the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights...
00:13:16.000 Our constitutional right to free speech is an impediment or an obstacle to their ability to gain total control or to quote-unquote govern or build consensus.
00:13:30.000 They don't want us to be able to exercise our right to free speech on social media.
00:13:35.000 They want Elon Musk and Zuckerberg and all these people to clamp down on our right to free speech,
00:13:43.000 because it gets in the way of their goal, which is total control. It is such a joke to hear Kamala
00:13:52.000 Harris say what she said, because not only now, but over these last four years and beyond,
00:13:58.000 she has shown time and time again that she holds no regard in the Constitution,
00:14:03.000 and she rejects it through her actions, her words, and her policies. She rejects our right to free
00:14:08.000 speech. No matter how much she talks about, apparently, this Glock that she owns, and she's
00:14:13.000 shot at a range at some point in time, she wants to take away our Second Amendment rights, our rights
00:14:19.000 to protect ourselves and our loved ones. She doesn't believe in the freedom of religion and
00:14:25.000 the article in the Constitution that says there shall be no religious test, as she voted against
00:14:31.000 some of President Trump's judicial nominees for the sole reason of them being practicing
00:14:36.000 observant Catholics. That's right.
00:14:38.000 There are so many examples.
00:14:39.000 She wants to talk about a list.
00:14:41.000 There's a whole list of things about how she is directly undermining our Constitution and how it is getting in the way of her greed and ambition for power.
00:14:50.000 Actions speak louder than words.
00:14:52.000 That is so smart, Tulsi.
00:14:55.000 Thank you for mentioning that. I actually just messaged my team in the chat.
00:14:57.000 We need to bring that back to the surface, that Kamala Harris voted against nominees because they were Catholic.
00:15:04.000 That is so powerful and so smart.
00:15:07.000 So I want to play cut 45 here because it's about foreign policy, something near and dear to your heart.
00:15:11.000 And I know we're going to be together in Tucson next week doing an event.
00:15:15.000 I'm really excited about that, Tulsi.
00:15:17.000 I'm sure this will be a big topic.
00:15:19.000 This is Kamala Harris speaking about Ukraine.
00:15:22.000 Play cut 45. No.
00:15:25.000 Ukraine must have a say in the future of Ukraine.
00:15:29.000 As president, would you support the effort to expand NATO to include Ukraine?
00:15:36.000 Those are all issues that we will deal with if and when it arrives at that point.
00:15:41.000 Right now, we are supporting Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russia's unprovoked aggression.
00:15:48.000 Donald Trump, if he were president, Putin would be sitting in Kiev right now.
00:15:53.000 He talks about, oh, he can end it on day one.
00:15:56.000 You know what that is? It's about surrender.
00:15:58.000 Boy, she's making Dick Cheney blush.
00:16:01.000 Tulsi, one minute.
00:16:02.000 Please summarize that. Your reaction.
00:16:04.000 Kamala Harris was in Europe a few days before Putin invaded Ukraine, speaking very clearly and loudly about how Ukraine should become a member of NATO. This was one of the main instigators crossing this red line that Russia, during Putin's reign and before him, has been the red line.
00:16:25.000 And for any objective-minded person, you can understand why they wouldn't want NATO missiles sitting in Ukraine We're good to go.
00:17:02.000 Have all said that they want Ukraine to be a part of NATO, which directly imperils our safety and security.
00:17:09.000 So whether you're following this whole situation closely or not, that's really all you need to know.
00:17:13.000 Their decisions have put us at greater risk.
00:17:17.000 Tulsi Gabbard, we will see you soon.
00:17:18.000 See you in Tucson next week.
00:17:20.000 Looking forward to it. Thank you so much.
00:17:23.000 If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.
00:17:32.000 It's time to try Relief Factor.
00:17:35.000 And the good news is Relief Factor makes it quite easy.

00:18:22.000 Joining us right now is Sarah Carter, who's on the ground in North Carolina.
00:18:25.000 Sarah, welcome to the program.
00:18:27.000 Tell us what you are seeing.
00:18:29.000 Describe it to our audience.
00:18:30.000 Is this a Katrina-type moment?
00:18:32.000 Status of the roads?
00:18:33.000 Is Starlink helping? Death toll predictions?
00:18:36.000 Tell us all about it, Sarah Carter.
00:18:38.000 Oh, thanks so much for having me on.
00:18:40.000 I've got to tell you, I've never seen such devastation in my life.
00:18:45.000 When it comes to an area that was so unprepared for what happened with Hurricane Helene, You know, these are people that live in the mountains here in North Carolina, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, some of the hardest hit, Guantanamoa area, where the waters just overflowed from the lakes, from the rivers.
00:19:06.000 It actually, what's so fascinating, Charlie, there was actually a geographical shift in the rivers in Chimney Rock.
00:19:15.000 Businesses just completely obliterated.
00:19:17.000 We're still Not sure of the death toll.
00:19:21.000 I know you, you know, what is the death toll?
00:19:23.000 We don't know. They've said somewhere around 200.
00:19:26.000 Right now is the number that the government's giving out.
00:19:29.000 I've been hearing from other people that they've been finding more and more bodies.
00:19:33.000 I know that this past weekend, in an area that I was at, in Swannanoa, on actually the day of the rally in Butler, they found three more bodies in that area.
00:19:45.000 If you remember cars, We're rushed downstream.
00:19:49.000 There were people that were found in their vehicles.
00:19:52.000 Some people escaped.
00:19:54.000 Some people, by the grace of God, were saved.
00:19:56.000 I know of one gentleman who actually was in his home as it was rushing down the river and was able to survive that.
00:20:05.000 Others did not.
00:20:06.000 There is no service in certain areas.
00:20:10.000 We have, I've been speaking to the sheriff, local law enforcement, as well as Neighbors and firefighters and others who have come from states as far away as Texas, Idaho, who have come here to help.
00:20:25.000 They are up in the area removing trees and debris.
00:20:29.000 It's going to take years for this area to recover.
00:20:33.000 I can tell you that FEMA, for the most part, has been absent.
00:20:38.000 So let's see. Today I was talking to a volunteer firefighter.
00:20:43.000 They said they saw FEMA for the first time today in Chimney Rock.
00:20:47.000 And others who have said that when they did get in touch with FEMA, they were either declined their FEMA, you know, the $750 that was promised.
00:20:56.000 One man who had lost his entire home, his entire apartment, and by the grace of God, he got his four-month pregnant wife out of the apartment before it was rushed downstream in Chimney Rock.
00:21:10.000 He said that when he contacted FEMA, And by phone, they declined him, the $750.
00:21:17.000 And he said, well, all I owned was personal items.
00:21:19.000 I lived paycheck to paycheck.
00:21:21.000 And they said, well, you need to get on the internet, make another application, and do it this way.
00:21:28.000 And he goes, how am I supposed to get on the internet?
00:21:29.000 I have no service.
00:21:30.000 I had to, like, use a sat phone to contact you.
00:21:34.000 So there is a lot of problems here, a lot of failures on the government side of things.
00:21:40.000 A lot of frustration.
00:21:41.000 You can hear it in people's voices.
00:21:43.000 They're not afraid to say it.
00:21:44.000 I posted a video up on my app showing a sheriff, Sheriff Wright, and another sheriff who were basically saying, you know, if the federal government is only going to get in the way, then just get out because we're here to help each other.
00:22:01.000 And we don't need somebody stepping on our toes or getting in our way if they're not going to help.
00:22:06.000 So it's a real tragedy.
00:22:07.000 Let's play that.
00:22:09.000 Milton is only going to add insult to injury here.
00:22:12.000 Let's play cut 61 here.
00:22:14.000 But if you had a message for the White House and how they've handled the situation up here in North Carolina, what would your message be, Sheriff Wright?
00:22:23.000 If you're going to do the things you've been talking about doing, we'd just assume you stay out of the way.
00:22:27.000 And let the good men and women around the mountain area and the foothills take care of our own.
00:22:32.000 Because you're nothing more than a boat anchor.
00:22:36.000 No help. FEMA hasn't been helpful.
00:22:38.000 Wait a minute. That lady that's running for president talks about the $750.
00:22:47.000 What about all that money you give to Ukraine and all these other people that really want to kill us?
00:22:52.000 Don't want to do anything to help us.
00:22:53.000 Why don't you just give that money to them?
00:22:55.000 That's who you want to give it to to begin with.
00:22:57.000 I like this guy. Sarah, introduce us to this guy.
00:23:00.000 Yeah, this is Sheriff Wright.
00:23:01.000 He's amazing. He's been out there volunteering.
00:23:04.000 He's a North Carolina sheriff.
00:23:07.000 I just ran into him.
00:23:08.000 It was interesting. I'd gone up to Chippy Rock.
00:23:11.000 I was up there meeting residents, meeting volunteer firefighters.
00:23:16.000 I wanted to see the destruction for myself.
00:23:18.000 We had to get permission to go on up in there in Rutherford County.
00:23:22.000 They guided us up into the area.
00:23:25.000 It's very dangerous still because a lot of the buildings are on the edge of collapse.
00:23:30.000 They need to be demolished.
00:23:31.000 They finished clearing out some of the roads.
00:23:34.000 And here I see this, you know, this sheriff, this quintessential, you know, North Carolina sheriff on the back of an ATV working out there, taking care of business, doing what he needed to do, helping the firefighters.
00:23:48.000 And I walked up to him and somebody said to me, Hey, this guy, this is the most famous sheriff in North Carolina.
00:23:54.000 And I said, oh, really? Well, I got to meet him.
00:23:56.000 And I went up and I went to talk to him.
00:23:58.000 So it was just a bit of a surprise.
00:24:00.000 You know, just being on the ground, Charlie, the most important thing is that people want to be heard.
00:24:06.000 They just want to be heard.
00:24:08.000 And we have so many Americans, you know, inflation.
00:24:11.000 They're dealing with inflation.
00:24:13.000 They're dealing with living paycheck to paycheck.
00:24:15.000 And now, like you said, to add insult to injury, In so many ways, they are dealing with this disaster that has left them kind of spinning.
00:24:26.000 They're in shock now.
00:24:27.000 Some of them are already at the processing it and they're in tears and they're saying, wait a minute, how am I going to get through this?
00:24:33.000 The holidays are coming up.
00:24:35.000 Of course, they're worried about people's lives.
00:24:38.000 I was just talking earlier today with a grandmother, listen to this, to her 11-day-old grandchild.
00:24:48.000 Was rescued by civilian helicopters.
00:24:51.000 These are civilians that are volunteering their time, bringing in their helicopters, coming in.
00:24:57.000 They rescued her daughter, her, and the grandchild.
00:25:01.000 The grandchild was on the edge, was blue in the face, a preemie.
00:25:06.000 They went into the area, they pulled the baby out, but the grandmother had to climb to the top of a hillside to make the phone call So that people would know that they were there.
00:25:19.000 So the heroes in this story are never ending.
00:25:23.000 And it's the American people and the villains.
00:25:26.000 So I'm just curious.
00:25:28.000 So there's all these military bases nearby.
00:25:33.000 Why has the military not been deployed?
00:25:36.000 Where are the military helicopters?
00:25:38.000 It's not a matter of martial law.
00:25:40.000 You could deploy the military in times of...
00:25:43.000 Of natural disaster.
00:25:45.000 Has the military been deployed here to help American citizens?
00:25:47.000 We have not seen them, and I've heard there have been some National Guard out here.
00:25:52.000 I have not seen them myself.
00:25:54.000 I've been all over the place.
00:25:55.000 There have been some, but they have not been deployed the way that they need to be deployed.
00:26:00.000 On Sean Hannity last night, I had a gentleman who's also the coroner of Avery County, John Millen, and I had him on the show.
00:26:09.000 And he is a former retired, actually, National Guardsman.
00:26:13.000 And he said it's just been an epic failure on the part of the state as well as on the part of the federal government to deploy the necessary resources.
00:26:22.000 Like, they've got the resources.
00:26:24.000 Why aren't we deploying them?
00:26:25.000 They've got the resources.
00:26:27.000 Why isn't it being utilized?
00:26:28.000 And now, you know, this concern about Hurricane Milton and what's going to happen there, we've got Governor DeSantis, an obviously amazing governor who's It was doing his part and saying, you know, well, we're going to take care of our own.
00:26:41.000 Well, that's what's come to pass here in North Carolina.
00:26:45.000 But mainly it's been the people taking care of their own.
00:26:49.000 So we have not seen that.
00:26:51.000 I'm heading up right now into Chimney Rock.
00:26:55.000 I'm grateful that I could be with you right now on the air because once I get up to Chimney Rock, it's impossible to get any service.
00:27:03.000 And Lake Lord, let me just describe that.
00:27:06.000 I don't know if people saw that on the show last night, but the entire lake is just full of debris.
00:27:16.000 It's going to need to be drained.
00:27:17.000 We're talking billions of dollars probably in destruction, and it's going to take years to clean everything out, and the lake is completely filled with debris.
00:27:29.000 When you talk about looking for search and rescue, they're going to have to deploy scuba divers into that lake Charlie, to be able to navigate that lake and see if there are any of the missing people are in that lake.
00:27:42.000 And that's the biggest tragedy here, the loss of life, the loss of property.
00:27:48.000 God bless Samaritan's Purse and other organizations that are volunteering and doing the yeoman's work out here to make sure that these families are getting what they need.
00:27:59.000 But I'm going to tell you this, if it weren't for For the churches, for the organizations that are out here, for the people that are giving of their time, I wouldn't want to think of what it would be like right now.
00:28:11.000 Because I could tell you this, there were no government workers, there was nothing deployed to cut down those trees.
00:28:15.000 The people that actually cleared the roads Sarah, thank you for your time and thank you for reporting on this.
00:28:25.000 That's what makes this country great.
00:28:27.000 We have wonderful people and our people are going to step up.
00:28:30.000 Your government doesn't care about you.
00:28:31.000 Your government cares about Ukraine.
00:28:33.000 Kamala Harris has contempt for the American people.
00:28:36.000 Happy to watch the American people die and suffer and suffocate in mud and their homes be obliterated.
00:28:42.000 That is the orthodoxy of the Democrat Party and Kamala Harris.
00:28:47.000 American people are annoyances and inconveniences and might as well allow the flood to wipe you out because that is less Americans that can complain.
00:28:57.000 Sarah, thank you so much. Thanks, Charlie.
00:28:59.000 Thank you. Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:30:06.000 Joining us now is Joe Reek from MyPatriotSupply.
00:30:10.000 I asked Joe to come on the program because I have at least 100 or 200 friends right now in Milton's way.
00:30:17.000 Milton, of course, is the awfully intense hurricane.
00:30:20.000 It is intensifying by the hour.
00:30:22.000 It went down to Category 4.
00:30:23.000 Now it is back to Category 5 that is about to just obliterate Florida.
00:30:28.000 Yeah, no, people think it's category four.
00:30:30.000 It actually just got upgraded again based on what I was reading.
00:30:34.000 It could be wrong, but it's pretty intense.
00:30:36.000 I asked Joe to come on the program because I want to make sure they've been great partners of our show, My Patriot Supply, but I want to make sure you guys are all aware because what if a hurricane hits?
00:30:44.000 What if a snowstorm, electrical grid failure, EMP attack?
00:30:47.000 Joe, welcome to the program.
00:30:49.000 Tell us about the need to be prepared in this season.
00:30:52.000 You know, it's a humbling and sober reminder.
00:30:55.000 Whenever we get these types of news articles about major developments, whether it be a natural disaster like the hurricanes, whether it be an ice storm or a winter storm, it causes people to take a step back and really look at their own selves and their own family's needs.
00:31:09.000 And what we do here at MyPatriotSupplyCharlie's, yeah, we do have long-term emergency food available, but more than that is we educate families on how to get better prepared.
00:31:18.000 We are believers in being self-sufficient and not relying on anybody to come bail you out.
00:31:24.000 You know, and some of these catastrophic failures that we've seen over the past couple of weeks
00:31:29.000 with this Hurricane Helene, it really just goes to show that you cannot sit back and
00:31:34.000 wait for the government to come and bail you out.
00:31:37.000 You have to do the work yourself.
00:31:39.000 You need to get prepared.
00:31:40.000 And the beautiful thing about this is if you don't know how to get prepared, Charlie, we
00:31:45.000 have preparedness agents, preparedness specialists that can help you and your family understand
00:31:50.000 what you might need for these different emergency situations.
00:31:53.000 And so a little bit of preparation really does go a very, very long way.
00:31:57.000 And if there's one thing that I can urge everybody is to take the time to sit down with your family and put together some what we call get-up-and-go bags.
00:32:05.000 You know, something very similar to this.
00:32:07.000 It doesn't have to be this, but just a backpack with some Shelf-stable emergency items like canned goods or even calorie bars like this that have up to a five-year shelf life so you don't have to keep updating your survival kits.
00:32:20.000 You can fill that up with long-term emergency water pouches, something like this, that you can have inside of your backpack.
00:32:26.000 So if you do get the call in the middle of the night that you need to evacuate or you need to relocate to a different location, you can quickly grab your things and you can go.
00:32:34.000 And you can be self-sufficient to be able to provide for the needs of you and your family.
00:32:38.000 You know, we talk a lot about different scenarios, different situations.
00:32:42.000 You know, if their power is out, if the power grid were to get attacked or the power grid were to go down, having something like a solar power bank handy buy.
00:32:49.000 Again, it doesn't have to be like these items, but items similar to this that you can charge up your cell phones.
00:32:54.000 You can be able to get communication devices working.
00:32:56.000 You can have power for those little accessories.
00:32:58.000 You know, one of the Awesome things that we have, too, is a solar-powered generator, very similar to this, where if you are reliant upon a CPAP machine, those critical medical devices, this will run your devices throughout the night.
00:33:10.000 It charges with a solar panel, so you don't have to be connected to the grid to be able to operate it.
00:33:15.000 Little things like this go a very, very long way.
00:33:18.000 And here at MyPatriotsApplied, this is what we do.
00:33:20.000 We educate and teach people how to get better prepared because we've seen over the past
00:33:25.000 several weeks, again, another grim reminder that if you're going to be waiting for the
00:33:30.000 government to come bail you out, you're going to be waiting a very, very long time.
00:33:34.000 And a lot of the reports that we're getting, especially from some of the partners and suppliers
00:33:38.000 that have contacted us throughout this disaster, they're being bombarded and they're being
00:33:42.000 held up by regulation, by red tape.
00:33:46.000 And it's really detrimental to rescuing the people that are in desperate need of these
00:33:49.000 emergency items.
00:33:50.000 You know, we've been fortunate enough to be able to partner with many organizations and
00:33:54.000 provide thousands of ready-made meals, thousands of calorie bars, thousands of water purification
00:34:00.000 systems, whether it's for personal use or for the home use, things like this.
00:34:04.000 We've loaded up semi-trucks that unfortunately some of these semi-trucks have been stopped and we have to get special permissions.
00:34:11.000 You know, like your previous viewer, Sarah, you've got to get Out of the way of the people to help those that are in need.
00:34:17.000 And again, Charlie, nobody's going to care more about your survival than yourself.
00:34:21.000 And you got to take it upon yourself to get you and your family prepared.
00:34:24.000 And if you don't know how to do that, come to My Patriot Supply.
00:34:27.000 We can help you out.
00:34:29.000 We have the tools. We have the knowledge to be able to get you the items that you need so you can have that peace of mind of knowing that you and your family are prepared, Charlie.
00:34:38.000 Very good. Thank you so much.
00:34:40.000 Everyone check out mypatriotsupply.com.
00:34:42.000 Joe, thank you so much. Thanks, Charlie.
