00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody, today's The Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:01.000 The Daniel Penny situation in New York is one of the most important things happening in the country.
00:00:05.000 We cover that.
00:00:05.000 Also, Brendan Carr joins the program to talk about why we should ban pharmaceutical advertising from television.
00:00:12.000 Jeffrey Tucker is very worried about these next couple of months and how our entire society's civilization and how the revolution can be thwarted.

00:00:36.000 Here we go.
00:00:37.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:40.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:44.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:47.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:48.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:01:30.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:01:35.000 Joining us now is Jeffrey A. Tucker from the Brownstone Institute.
00:01:40.000 Jeffrey and I used to run into each other at libertarian conferences about a decade ago, and I've always thought he is wicked smart, very wise, and really understand what's going on.
00:01:51.000 Jeffrey, great to see you again.
00:01:52.000 Jeffrey, you have a very important tweet that is an important prompt.
00:01:57.000 For something that might be occurring, you say, quote, is nuclear war really part of the plan to foil an incoming Trump administration?
00:02:04.000 I would not rule it out.
00:02:06.000 In January, February 2020, the Deep State did the unthinkable and abolished the Bill of Rights and established martial law under the guise of virus control.
00:02:13.000 Anything is possible.
00:02:14.000 Jeffrey, please explain.
00:02:16.000 Well, I'm very concerned about the next two months and we're seeing some very terrible trends.
00:02:20.000 The idea of authorizing war against Russia without congressional mandate, the forgiving of $4.7 billion in debt owed by Ukraine, the quick efforts to approve these judges.
00:02:32.000 What you have is a regime that has been totally discredited by the American system, thrown out, bonked on the nose, really repudiated and denounced by the American people.
00:02:44.000 And now they're using all their power in a kind of a panic to clean up the messes, you know, with shredder trucks out in front of the Department of Justice, this authorizing of war is next level crazy.
00:03:00.000 So I'm very concerned about the next 60 days.
00:03:04.000 What's remarkable about this is that the efforts that they're doing right now, all their actions are transparent.
00:03:10.000 And grotesque.
00:03:12.000 And everybody understands exactly what is going on.
00:03:15.000 We've got a regime in panic, DC's in panic about what's coming.
00:03:19.000 And they're doing everything they possibly can to, I mean, what it really means is that they're willing to burn down the house rather than leave it, essentially.
00:03:28.000 And it's pretty terrifying.
00:03:30.000 Not only is it terrifying, it's diabolical.
00:03:33.000 I mean, these people would rather see the world go to ashes than Donald Trump govern it.
00:03:38.000 Is that a fair summary?
00:03:41.000 Charlie, thank you just for saying that.
00:03:44.000 I mean, when I first saw all this happening, my mind raced back To a comment made by the economist Gunther Reimann in 1939, writing from Berlin, and he said, I think that these people are going to be willing to go to war and destroy everything about the German nation, everything about society.
00:04:05.000 There's nothing they won't do to preserve the party.
00:04:09.000 They're going to go down with it and they're willing to torch everything.
00:04:13.000 And that's what he said and that's what he predicted in 1939. And those words have been echoing in my head because there's nothing more awful than a corrupt totalitarian would-be totalitarian regime that's been discredited by the people still holding on to power.
00:04:30.000 They have 60 days and it's a very dangerous time for America.
00:04:35.000 When the founders left this period between the election and the inauguration, the presumption was that the outgoing regime was going to be responsible and adhere to the rule of law.
00:04:49.000 And we would have a smooth transition.
00:04:51.000 That is not what we're seeing here.
00:04:53.000 We're seeing the sort of next level scary.
00:04:56.000 And nobody has any power to do...
00:04:59.000 It seems to have any power to do over it.
00:05:01.000 I know there's been articles of impeachment introduced, but those offer their own complications.
00:05:06.000 I mean, you know, so what?
00:05:08.000 Because here's the thing.
00:05:09.000 Everybody knows that this decrepit corpse in the White House is not really the president, not really making the decision.
00:05:15.000 You know, it's not...
00:05:16.000 Nobody has any illusions about this.
00:05:18.000 No, but this is really important, though, Jeffrey, is that, and as someone who understands the power of the administrative state over the last 100 years, I mean, you've done more research and more talking about this, speaking about this, is that we're not being governed by a president anymore.
00:05:33.000 We have veered off in the last couple decades.
00:05:35.000 We are now being governed by this super elite of a couple hundred experts, and that is even more dangerous than You know, a quote-unquote dictator in some ways.
00:05:48.000 How do you disassemble that?
00:05:50.000 Charlie, you're exactly right about that.
00:05:52.000 And I would say that in general, this is kind of an...
00:05:56.000 Even though the problem dates back 100 years, you're right about that.
00:06:00.000 Americans are just now newly alert to this.
00:06:02.000 I mean, for that matter, I'm kind of newly alert to it, you know?
00:06:06.000 And it's a little overwhelming.
00:06:08.000 And the thing about this administrative bureaucracy is that there's nobody to take responsibility.
00:06:13.000 We don't know who's making these decisions over something that could lead to nuclear war.
00:06:20.000 I mean, who...
00:06:21.000 Is there anybody stepping up and saying, yeah, I did that.
00:06:24.000 That was my choice.
00:06:26.000 That was my decision.
00:06:27.000 Here's why I did it.
00:06:28.000 There's nobody.
00:06:29.000 We don't have a name.
00:06:30.000 We don't have...
00:06:31.000 Anything.
00:06:32.000 It's the way these committees worked.
00:06:34.000 And I began to realize this more and more.
00:06:37.000 We've all learned so much about government over the last years.
00:06:41.000 But I remember there was this moment where Fauci was being grilled by somebody in Congress about the approval of these shots that caused several officials of the FDA over vaccine safety to resign.
00:06:53.000 And they said, you know, why did you approve that?
00:06:55.000 And he said, well, I didn't approve that.
00:06:56.000 That was approved by...
00:06:58.000 This committee over here at FDA. And they said, well, why did that committee approve?
00:07:01.000 He said, well, I mean, well, they didn't really approve it.
00:07:04.000 All they did was ratify the decisions by another committee in the CDC. And then you ask that committee, and it's like, oh, well, was that another guy?
00:07:10.000 Was that another guy?
00:07:10.000 So it becomes a sort of gassy and opaque.
00:07:13.000 And yet you have these momentous decisions that have huge impacts on people's rights and liberties.
00:07:20.000 And in the case of war, their lives are And yet there's nobody willing to take responsibility.
00:07:27.000 This is not the American system.
00:07:30.000 The founders did not set up the government to be so detached from the people this way.
00:07:36.000 Their specific plan was that the people would rule in America through their elected representatives.
00:07:43.000 They would take responsibility for their decisions.
00:07:45.000 And if they were the wrong ones, they'd get voted out of office.
00:07:47.000 But these bureaucrats who are making the decisions behind the scenes are nameless.
00:07:53.000 They bear no responsibility for the consequences of their decision and you can't even get rid of them according to the rules of the civil service.
00:08:02.000 This is un-American and this is why so many people are outraged and clamoring, screaming, yelling, demanding dramatic changes immediately.
00:08:15.000 I think those are probably coming.
00:08:18.000 My best guess is that they're coming.
00:08:19.000 At least, you know, Team Trump is going to do everything they possibly can to achieve it.
00:08:25.000 What worries me are the next 60 days because DC is in a total Panic right now.
00:08:34.000 They freaked out about Schedule F, you remember, in October of 2020, which was just a, it was nothing other than a, hey, what do you guys do around here?
00:08:46.000 If you're doing policy and you're not And you're not really supposed to be doing that.
00:08:51.000 You know, you're going to be reclassified as an employee who can be terminated, maybe.
00:08:57.000 Okay, that was it.
00:08:58.000 And the highest estimate is something like 50,000 people may have been reclassified.
00:09:03.000 The whole of Washington was a meltdown.
00:09:05.000 It didn't get a whole lot of public attention.
00:09:07.000 The Washington Post and The Hill and Politico and all these publications were just freaking out.
00:09:13.000 And the Biden administration immediately reversed that executive order.
00:09:17.000 And they've been working all these years to entrench the bureaucracy.
00:09:22.000 Well, I tell you what, Team Trump has also been working all these years.
00:09:25.000 Forget Schedule F. I mean, that's not, I mean, yeah, they could pass that and probably will, maybe.
00:09:30.000 We're talking about now getting rid of the whole of the civil service, which, you know what, Charlie?
00:09:36.000 I favor that.
00:09:38.000 Because it's inconsistent with the Constitution.
00:09:41.000 These people should be at-will employees.
00:09:43.000 And now we've got Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy coming in there.
00:09:48.000 And they have an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal today, which is talking about, you know, using tools.
00:09:54.000 And they have, they can do it, especially with the majority in the Senate and the House and the right appointees.
00:09:59.000 They can accomplish this task.
00:10:02.000 They're talking about maybe cutting 80% of the bureaucracy at this point and abolishing 40 years of regulations.
00:10:09.000 And you know what?
00:10:10.000 Americans will cheer.
00:10:13.000 They will cheer for the first time in our lifetime.
00:10:15.000 We have a public consensus that the system is out of control and we need something dramatic to happen to stop it.
00:10:22.000 But these promises, and they're credible ones, I believe them.
00:10:26.000 I'm very excited.
00:10:27.000 I could probably say it was nothing like this in Reagan's first term.
00:10:29.000 I mean, this is a definite public consensus and a real fever pitch for reform.
00:10:35.000 But now you've got Washington in a total freak-out mode.
00:10:38.000 We've got 60 days between now and then.
00:10:41.000 It's going to be a tug-of-war between the totalitarians on one hand and the reformers and the freedom lovers on the other.
00:10:48.000 It's an epic battle, and it's going to take us right up to the inauguration.

00:11:49.000 patriotmobile.com slash charlie.
00:11:51.000 That is patriotmobile.com slash charlie or call 972-PATRIOT. Jeffrey, let's go deeper into the administrative state.
00:11:59.000 The idea that there is not accountability is so smart because we don't know who actually does the action.
00:12:05.000 And instead, it is this tyranny of a quasi-collective where it's 10 or 12 people in a room.
00:12:13.000 Can you build that out more for the audience?
00:12:15.000 Because it almost makes accountability impossible if you don't know who is responsible.
00:12:22.000 Well, everybody who's worked for a large company knows the way this works.
00:12:26.000 If somebody suggests a committee, they'd say, oh, we're all going to get that in there and brainstorm.
00:12:30.000 What that really means is that somebody has some item, an agenda item that they want to shove through, but they don't want to take responsibility for it.
00:12:38.000 They want to make it mushy and make the decision-making crowd-based so that if something goes wrong, they don't have to take responsibility for it.
00:12:46.000 And it's the same thing true in science.
00:12:49.000 I was thinking about this the other day.
00:12:50.000 John Ian Eadies, a great scientist at Stanford University, said you can always tell a piece of fake science because it's signed by more than three authors, right?
00:12:59.000 And we've seen this over the COVID period, right?
00:13:01.000 Lots of huge studies coming out, and it has 18 authors, right?
00:13:05.000 Why are there 18 authors?
00:13:07.000 Then you contact one of them, and they say, well, I don't really know.
00:13:10.000 I didn't think that.
00:13:12.000 I didn't really run through it.
00:13:14.000 Nobody seems to take responsibility for the fake science.
00:13:17.000 And he's done a lot of research in fake science and he discovers that it's more than likely the case that it's fake if it's signed by more than three authors because if you diffuse the responsibility that broad, Then nobody's actually doing the work.
00:13:31.000 There's some bad guy hiding somewhere.
00:13:33.000 Well, it's the same.
00:13:35.000 I mean, if it's bad in science, if it's bad in your corporation, I promise you, government is like next level terrible.
00:13:41.000 So you get these people in a room and there's one person who has an agenda.
00:13:46.000 Usually it's some special interest.
00:13:48.000 And they're shoving it through, through blackmail bribes or goodness knows what.
00:13:53.000 And then they get this faceless, nameless committed to get it through the bureaucracy.
00:13:59.000 They know the system.
00:14:00.000 They know how it works.
00:14:01.000 And they've been tricking us and lying to us for so many decades, they figured they would just get away with it.
00:14:06.000 And they typically have.
00:14:09.000 It was the COVID period that exposed it all.
00:14:11.000 You know, this sort of corrupt relationship between agencies and their committees and corporations with their lobbyists and then their media outlets and this whole sort of what people are calling the blob You know, hard at work, and they've been able to get away with it.
00:14:27.000 And finally, America just woke up and said, wait, who's running this country?
00:14:32.000 You know, what is the law and what isn't?
00:14:34.000 Who's making these crazy decisions?
00:14:36.000 Why am I having to put a plexiglass in my...
00:14:38.000 Why am I having to shut down my company?
00:14:39.000 How come I can't go to church?
00:14:41.000 And that's what raised the fundamental questions, and the system broke during that period.
00:14:46.000 And that, I think, is what accounts for this election, in part.
00:14:50.000 And people are just sick of it.
00:14:52.000 Let's get back to the system the founders established, where the people are in charge through their electric representatives, and somebody's going to be held accountable for what kind of system we're running.
00:15:03.000 I don't want to live in a regime over which I have absolutely zero control, which is really where we are right now with 420 some odd agencies and two to three million bureaucrats that nobody knows anything about that can't be fired.
00:15:17.000 That is not a tenable system.
00:15:19.000 So Trump comes to Washington with an excellent cabinet picks with a mandate to clean up the system and do something about it and get us back to a system whereby we have actual accountability in government.
00:15:35.000 And that's what they're planning to do.
00:15:36.000 But like I said, my worry is that we have 60 days between now and then.
00:15:40.000 What's coming to Washington is a revolution like we've never seen.
00:15:46.000 And everybody knows that.
00:15:48.000 And there's every reason to think it's going to happen.
00:15:51.000 It's very serious.
00:15:52.000 But Washington is in a panic right now and pursuing irrational, crazy, lawless, dangerous activities.
00:16:03.000 And we're all feeling right now powerless to stop it.
00:16:08.000 It's actually scary.
00:16:09.000 We're going into the holidays.
00:16:10.000 However, the House Republicans need to get more involved with war oversight powers right now.
00:16:16.000 I mean, they have a mandate from the American people.
00:16:19.000 We're not just going to sit idly by and allow Joe Biden to sleepwalk us into World War III, which, by the way, would act as a diversion device against that coming revolution.
00:16:29.000 Yeah, I agree.
00:16:30.000 And, you know, I met with a bunch of friends last night.
00:16:32.000 Brownstone does a separate club.
00:16:33.000 And with about 100 of us, we were meeting.
00:16:36.000 And spontaneously, a lot of people are writing public letters to Putin saying, we don't want war.
00:16:44.000 Please don't take this decrepit old man in the White House seriously.
00:16:48.000 Americans are a peace-loving people.
00:16:50.000 We can work out our differences.
00:16:52.000 Let's not blow up the world before we get a responsible government in here in January.
00:16:58.000 I think this is really interesting.
00:16:59.000 I think you're right about the House of Republicans.
00:17:01.000 Thomas Massey is sounding the alarm.
00:17:04.000 So the others need to get involved.
00:17:05.000 This is very serious.
00:17:07.000 We need to wake up and somehow survive between now and the inauguration.
00:17:14.000 So that we can at least reset and get back on track to having an American system of government again.
00:17:19.000 Jeffrey, great.
00:17:19.000 Come back anytime.
00:17:20.000 I love it.
00:17:21.000 And we must stop the war machine.
00:17:22.000 The war machine is the energy force of the administrative state.
00:17:26.000 Jeffrey, thank you so much.
00:17:30.000 Let me ask a question.
00:17:31.000 Do you think our country is going in the right direction?

00:18:27.000 Joining us now is Brendan Carr, Commissioner of the FCC and soon to be Chairman of the FCC. Congratulations, Brendan.
00:18:35.000 Welcome back to the show.
00:18:36.000 Yeah, thanks so much, Charlie.
00:18:37.000 And obviously, first of all, thank you so much to you and to the entire movement you've built.
00:18:41.000 I mean, the listeners here probably don't need me to say that, but you have helped to fundamentally reshape not just the conservative movement, but now Washington, D.C. itself.
00:18:53.000 And it's time for people to come into the administration, President Trump's administration, that are fully 100% aligned, that are on board.
00:19:00.000 And that are going to deliver on all of these ideas that you have championed, that President Trump has championed.
00:19:06.000 And so thanks again.
00:19:07.000 I mean, you had me on way back in the day when I was a backbencher commissioner.
00:19:11.000 And so I really appreciate your long-term support for these FCC issues.
00:19:14.000 Now you've highlighted them.
00:19:15.000 It's made a big difference.
00:19:16.000 Well, we've always had your back and I played, I mean, almost a nothing role, but I did advocate for you with the boss.
00:19:24.000 Absolutely.
00:19:25.000 For whatever that's worth.
00:19:26.000 So congratulations.
00:19:27.000 So just educate our audience.
00:19:29.000 Let's just start with first principles.
00:19:30.000 What is the FCC? What role are you assuming and what do you oversee?
00:19:34.000 Yes, the FCC is a five-member commissioner.
00:19:37.000 So right now there's three Democrats, two Republicans.
00:19:39.000 I'm the senior Republican.
00:19:40.000 And the FCC oversees everything from the wireless industry to the broadcast media industry.
00:19:45.000 We are tasked with ending the digital divide, extending broadband to rural America, efforts of which have stalled drastically under the Biden-Harris administration.
00:19:55.000 We're charged with a national security docket.
00:19:57.000 We've taken action on things like Huawei and ZTE at the hardware And for me, you know, first steps as President Trump has designated me as chair is get with his team and make sure that there's, you know, 100% understanding what his agenda is.
00:20:12.000 After all, he's the one that's been elected at the end of the day.
00:20:15.000 And for starters, for me, it's a couple things.
00:20:17.000 One, it's going to be We absolutely have to smash the censorship cartel.
00:20:25.000 There's going to be a role for the FCC there, for sure.
00:20:27.000 We're going to need other agencies and Congress's help as well.
00:20:30.000 The second piece is taking a look at the broadcast media industry.
00:20:36.000 Broadcasters are specially situated.
00:20:38.000 They're not like any other speaker that's out there.
00:20:40.000 They have a license from the federal government, and with that, that free license, comes some benefits and some burdens.
00:20:47.000 And one thing they have to do is operate in the public interest, not a narrow agenda, the public interest.
00:20:53.000 And we're going to hold them to that, and we're going to reinvigorate it.
00:20:56.000 And the third piece is unleashing economic opportunity.
00:21:00.000 When President Trump came in in 2017, we were behind on 5G. We were behind on rural broadband.
00:21:06.000 And he turned things around.
00:21:07.000 We know how to do it.
00:21:08.000 We're going to do it again.
00:21:09.000 We're going to unleash private sector builds.
00:21:11.000 We're going to get the space economy going.
00:21:13.000 Whether it's Elon Musk, Starlink, or other providers, they've been completely hamstrung by the government the last four years.
00:21:19.000 They've succeeded nonetheless, but we're going to let the private sector cook, and it's going to be really good for the economy and for jobs.
00:21:26.000 I love it.
00:21:27.000 And so, thank you for that explanation.
00:21:28.000 Now, let's get into a controversial issue, but not really.
00:21:33.000 I am of the opinion That we should enter the rest of the industrialized world.
00:21:38.000 Every other country other than New Zealand does not allow pharmaceutical advertisements on TV. I think it is bad for media.
00:21:45.000 I think it undermines the integrity of journalism when it comes to public health.
00:21:49.000 I also think it's unnecessary.
00:21:51.000 If you need a drug, why do you need it broadcast to you with these ridiculous B-rolls of people running through a meadow?
00:21:57.000 Why won't the doctor know what is best for you?
00:22:01.000 Why is this incessant The drug culture that we see, necessary.
00:22:05.000 I don't think it's good for the society.
00:22:07.000 I think it should be banned.
00:22:09.000 That's just Charlie Kirk's opinion.
00:22:10.000 Let's play Cut 69 on just a short montage of how your nightly news is purchased by Big Pharma.
00:22:18.000 Play Cut 69. This week with George Stephanopoulos is brought to you by
00:22:48.000 Pfizer.
00:22:50.000 Your reaction, Brendan?
00:22:51.000 Look, if I ever needed to know how to throw a tight spiral through a tire swing or figure out a good location to put a bathtub overlooking a cliff, then those pharma ads would probably be helpful.
00:23:04.000 My own personal view is, look, this is a longer discussion, but I think we're way too medicated in this country, and there's precedent for doing exactly what you're talking about.
00:23:13.000 1970, President Nixon signed a law to ban cigarette advertising.
00:23:19.000 On the nation's airwaves.
00:23:20.000 It went into effect in January of 1971, and the FCC helps enforce that.
00:23:26.000 I think that could be a path forward for the FCC. So maybe it's HHS, maybe it's Congress.
00:23:31.000 We need potentially probably have to have some sort of law, again, either HHS or otherwise passed, to address pharma ads.
00:23:39.000 And then the FCC would be well positioned to help enforce that.
00:23:43.000 And I think that's an idea that's a really good one, and we should all be looking at ways to do it.
00:23:47.000 Yeah, I completely agree.
00:23:50.000 And I think that the ramifications of this, of having pharmaceutical advertisements, is so negative.
00:23:59.000 What would the process look like to say that you are not allowed to advertise Prescription drugs on television.
00:24:07.000 What would that look like?
00:24:08.000 You know, the process that's been used before has been a two-step process, which was, in that context, it was a law passed by Congress that sort of made those types of advertisements effectively illegal on broadcast medium.
00:24:21.000 And then the FCC can step in based on that and take action.
00:24:25.000 My guess is we'll probably need some sort of two-step.
00:24:27.000 Maybe that first step could come from An HHS determination rather than from Congress itself.
00:24:32.000 But I think it would require that type of two-step process.
00:24:34.000 But we'll see where HHS goes.
00:24:36.000 We'll see where Congress goes.
00:24:38.000 Again, I think as a nation, we're just way, way too medicated right now.
00:24:42.000 I mean, mental health is at an all-time low and advertisements for Big Pharma are at an all-time high.
00:24:47.000 Something is not working there.
00:24:48.000 Without a doubt.
00:24:49.000 Brendan, what are some of the other big battles that you are having at the FCC to maintain freedom of speech, But also make sure that we're not living under a permanent corporate oligarchy.
00:25:01.000 Yeah, I mean, the tech censorship has got to be a top priority here.
00:25:04.000 I wrote a letter about a week ago to the CEOs of some of the largest tech companies, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Meta.
00:25:13.000 And I made a lot of points there, but the narrow point was about this outfit called NewsGuard.
00:25:18.000 I can't remember how much you've dealt with them before, but they hold themselves out as the Internet's fact checker and sort of the arbiter of truth, which is – it'd be funny if it weren't so damaging.
00:25:28.000 But remember, NewsGuard has on their board of advisors at least one person that signed onto the Hunter Biden laptop story that itself spread a consequential set of misinformation stories.
00:25:42.000 The reporting is that they rate CCP propaganda as more reliable than U.S. publications.
00:25:49.000 They're under investigation right now by House committees for impact on free speech, and the list goes on and on.
00:25:54.000 And so what I said to these tech companies is, look, you've enjoyed these special protections, Section 230, but under the statute, 230 only applies if you are operating as relevant here in good faith.
00:26:06.000 That's a statutory term.
00:26:08.000 People can get mad.
00:26:09.000 You shouldn't be making good faith decisions.
00:26:10.000 Okay, Congress said it.
00:26:11.000 Good faith.
00:26:12.000 So my question for them is, how can you continue to rely on this outfit called NewsGuard for content moderation or otherwise When they're clearly engaged in such concerning conduct and spreading of misinformation.
00:26:25.000 So I want them to be clear that if they keep relying on NewsGuard for anything, they are really putting their Section 230 liability protections at risk.
00:26:32.000 And I've asked for responses by them in the next couple of weeks.
00:26:35.000 First of all, just so I can understand all of the webs in which NewsGuard is involved.
00:26:39.000 Whether it's Search or App Store, it's AI. I mean, Microsoft has some sort of deep AI relationship with NewsGuard.
00:26:46.000 And again, it's the tip of the iceberg, but it's a piece of this broader censorship cartel.
00:26:51.000 Some of it is individual decisions that Facebook and others have made, but it's more than that.
00:26:55.000 It's advertising agencies, it's marketing agencies, it's European government outfits.
00:27:00.000 So we're going to do some pinpricks, but at the same time, we've got to try to get this whole thing Root and branch because free speech is just the cornerstone of democracy.
00:27:08.000 We've seen this massive surge in censorship.
00:27:12.000 And for people that are going to try to censor the rights of everyday Americans, I'm going to stand in the way.
00:27:16.000 I love that.
00:27:17.000 In closing here, Brendan, you were instrumental in exposing the $40 billion debacle on broadband in rural areas.
00:27:25.000 How much money did we waste and how many people were connected to the internet?
00:27:29.000 Yeah, $42 billion over a thousand days later.
00:27:32.000 Vice President Harris was specifically put in charge.
00:27:34.000 Not a single person connected.
00:27:36.000 No dirt was turned.
00:27:37.000 We're going to get that entire program turned around.
00:27:40.000 Some money has been spent, but it's all been on government jobs up to now.
00:27:43.000 But the vast majority of the $40 billion is still there.
00:27:45.000 I met just yesterday here at the FCC. With a large group of broadband builders and telecom crews, and they were saying, look, we got totally hung out to dry by the Biden-Harris administration on this.
00:27:57.000 We invested millions and millions of our own capital in construction equipment, getting ready to go, this $42 billion, and it's just been sitting there.
00:28:05.000 And they're paying huge interest rates for the money they had to take out to make that purchase.
00:28:10.000 And I've told them, we're going to get this sorted out.
00:28:11.000 It's a mess right now.
00:28:12.000 It's an absolute mess.
00:28:13.000 But we're going to get it sorted out We're going to get people connected, and I'm hoping we can do it in a way that's tech neutral so that, you know, whether it's Kuiper from Amazon coming online soon or Starlink, that they get to play a role here because that's how you quickly and efficiently connect people.
00:28:27.000 Brendan, congratulations.
00:28:28.000 We'll be talking a lot.
00:28:29.000 Any way we can help you let us know.
00:28:31.000 Thanks so much.
00:28:31.000 Thanks, Charlie.
00:28:32.000 Thanks for your support.
00:28:33.000 I appreciate it.
00:28:33.000 Thank you.
00:28:34.000 Man, I'll just editorialize for a second there.
00:28:37.000 If we're able to ban pharmaceutical advertisements, that will make NFL football games so much more watchable.
00:28:43.000 I mean, it's just, you're watching a college football game, NFL game, you're watching a news program, and it's just some drug after drug.
00:28:51.000 And we never get down to the question of, what are the root causes?
00:28:57.000 And by the way, yes, while we're at it, we can ban the gambling ads too.
00:29:00.000 Might as well.
00:29:01.000 I'm kidding.
00:29:03.000 So, you can get down to the root causes of the metabolic diseased conditions.
00:29:09.000 Get down to the root causes.
00:29:12.000 I know Bobby Kennedy wants to do that.
00:29:14.000 So, okay, instead of the major pharmaceutical advertisements towards, like, Ozembek, why not advertisement?
00:29:25.000 Go for a walk.
00:29:27.000 Advertisement.
00:29:28.000 Stop eating junk food.
00:29:30.000 Go get sun.

00:30:36.000 I do want to pay a little bit of attention.
00:30:38.000 I have not been totally read in on this, but the Daniel Penny story in New York is completely outrageous.
00:30:45.000 And remember this story.
00:30:48.000 This is a good Samaritan who restrained this lunatic in a subway, and he is now facing murder charges for being a good Samaritan.
00:30:58.000 Whoever ends up being Attorney General under Donald Trump, we have to find ways and we have to be creative to hold New York accountable if they convict him.
00:31:10.000 I'm not sure what that looks like.
00:31:12.000 I'm not sure how that is.
00:31:13.000 But this story right here, Daniel Penny is an American hero.
00:31:18.000 Other Marines are vouching for him.
00:31:20.000 What did he do wrong exactly?
00:31:23.000 He put a lunatic who was harassing other people in a headlock.
00:31:27.000 What they're trying to do is they are trying to emasculate this entire country.
00:31:33.000 They are trying to castrate you so that alpha men do not stand up against injustices, bullying, or a terror campaign against women.
00:31:46.000 They are trying to metaphorically castrate an entire society of men.
00:31:52.000 Remember, the guy he put in a headlock was still alive when the cops got there.
00:31:55.000 We now know this guy had drugs in his system, very similar to George Floyd.
00:31:59.000 Sound familiar?
00:32:00.000 So they're putting Daniel Penny on a show trial.
00:32:02.000 Meanwhile, there are guys that just roam throughout New York City and stab people, get released, stab people, get released.
00:32:10.000 Bottom line is that alpha men are a threat to the new world order.
00:32:15.000 Daniel Penny and the Daniel Penny story is one of the most important things happening in the country that nobody is focused on right now.
00:32:22.000 This should get Kyle Rittenhouse-style attention.
00:32:26.000 And in fact, we need to spend more time.
00:32:27.000 Let's get a guest on for Daniel Penny tomorrow.
00:32:30.000 I know there's so much happening with transition, so much happening with Donald Trump.
00:32:33.000 I mean, I'm right there in the middle of it.
00:32:35.000 But the Daniel Penny is the last gasp of a dying, illegitimate, toxically feminine regime that sees Daniel Penny as a white, straight, Christian alpha male who stood up against a lunatic in a subway and should go to jail for that.
00:32:52.000 We know that there will be outposts of resistance in New York City, LA, and Boston.
00:32:57.000 But I want you to think about this.
00:32:59.000 This is a young man who saw women being harassed and decided to do something about it, and he might spend the rest of his life in jail.
00:33:09.000 He might spend the rest of his life behind bars.
00:33:11.000 Not only to do nothing wrong, he is a good Samaritan and an American hero.
00:33:15.000 And we're left with very little to do.
00:33:17.000 By the way, this is the terror of New York.
00:33:20.000 And red states need to retaliate.
00:33:22.000 We've said this for quite some time.
00:33:24.000 This is why we need Matt Gaetz as Attorney General to balance the system of justice, in my opinion.
00:33:29.000 But Steve Bannon is going to go up against a federal trial in February, not federal trial, I'm sorry, state trial in February for this ridiculous, we build the wall stuff.
00:33:38.000 They're going to try to put Steve Bannon in state prison.
00:33:42.000 Same Alvin Bragg junta that is going after Daniel Penny.
00:33:47.000 The same junta that went after Donald Trump.
00:33:52.000 This lawfare is not stopping, and the Daniel Penny situation is a metaphor.
00:33:57.000 It is a metaphor for a sickness that we have in our society that we are shedding, by the way.
00:34:03.000 A sickness that we are overcoming.
00:34:05.000 The people spoke, you guys did our work, but the fight is not yet over.
00:34:09.000 So Daniel Penny did the right thing.
00:34:11.000 What would you teach your son to do in a situation like that?
00:34:14.000 Well, the example that they're trying to make is, if you see something bad happen, Don't do the right thing because you might go to jail.
00:34:22.000 When you see an injustice, don't stand up for the disadvantaged.
00:34:27.000 Don't stand up for the downtrodden.
00:34:29.000 It is not an exaggeration to say that this is what destroys an entire civilization.
00:34:34.000 When people don't care about justice and don't care about those around them and are afraid to be heroes.
00:34:41.000 When you go to the third world and you see people suffering on the side of the street and they're just kind of indifferent.
00:34:47.000 They no longer have civilization.
00:34:49.000 Now women go on social media and complain about how crazy people are on trains and none of the men step up.
00:34:55.000 And here's the sad reality.
00:34:58.000 For friends that I have in New York, my advice to them is, if a woman is being harassed and a woman is being hit by a homeless man, don't do anything.
00:35:08.000 Don't do anything.
00:35:10.000 Morally you should do something, but legally you could end up in prison.
00:35:14.000 So now women are going on social media saying, why do none of the men defend me?
00:35:17.000 Because the man who defends you is going to jail.
00:35:20.000 Daniel Penny.
00:35:21.000 Especially in blue states and blue cities.
00:35:23.000 And women are being harassed.
00:35:25.000 They're being raped.
00:35:26.000 They're being sexually assaulted.
00:35:28.000 They are being chased in the streets.
00:35:32.000 And where are the men?
00:35:33.000 Oh, I can tell you where the men are.
00:35:35.000 You're putting the men in jail.
00:35:36.000 A friend of the show was just menaced by a homeless psycho this morning and nobody would do anything.
00:35:41.000 People just kind of watched and sat idly by.
00:35:44.000 The Daniel Penny show trial in New York is one of the most critical things happening on the planet.
00:35:49.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
