On this episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, host Charlie Kirk talks about the importance of being thankful for the things we have in our lives. He also shares a story from the Book of Numbers 11 about how God's chosen people were not naturally grateful.
00:00:57.000His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:45.000It's one of my favorite days of the year.
00:01:47.000I think it speaks very well to our nation.
00:01:50.000That there is a day where we stop and say thank you.
00:01:55.000As the great Dennis Prager would say, and Dennis Prager is in a tough spot right now, and you should say an audible prayer for Dennis Prager right now.
00:03:24.000And how thankful we are that Donald Trump didn't die on July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:03:29.000How thankful that we are, that we were spared from all of the civil chaos We all dodged a bullet on July 13th and on November the 5th.
00:03:41.000I love Thanksgiving because people from all different walks of life and different faiths can come together and say that gratitude is a necessary practice and being grateful is a practice.
00:04:40.000We'll read from Numbers 11 here because it's a wonderful story on how the people constantly complain.
00:04:47.000When the people complain, it displeased the Lord, and the Lord heard it, and his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burnt among them and consumed them in the uttermost parts of the camp.
00:04:57.000You see, Thanksgiving and the fundamental story of Thanksgiving is to understand that there is a God and you are not him.
00:05:05.000That there is a cosmological order and a cosmological plan above all of us.
00:05:10.000And that we must have the humility to know that God is sovereign and that we can easily lose perspective.
00:05:18.000And I encourage all of you today, tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, this Thanksgiving weekend, turn off your devices and just say to the heavens, thank you.
00:05:29.000And yes, there is much work yet to be done.
00:05:32.000There are many fights left to embark on.
00:05:34.000But what would have been if Kamala Harris would be president-elect right now?
00:05:41.000Now, that would be a tough Thanksgiving.
00:05:42.000We would still be saying thank you because there would be so much for to be thankful for.
00:05:46.000You got to keep the main thing, the main thing, God, family, country.
00:05:50.000And you see, when you're thankful, I think it invites humility.
00:05:53.000I believe gratitude and humility are sister virtues.
00:05:58.000Because by definition, when you are thankful, you are not necessarily taking credit for everything.
00:06:03.000When you are thankful, you're not saying that it's all because of you, that there's something that was given to you, that you are the recipient of something external that you did not make happen.
00:06:15.000And we are all recipients of this beautiful nation.
00:06:21.000And look at the remarkable sequence of events that have come together.
00:06:29.000The world's richest man, a Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, former DNC co-chair, Donald Trump surviving, all together to reclaim our nation.
00:06:40.000I just, I am blown away with humility at that truth.
00:06:45.000Humility allows you to grow and improve, to evolve, to strengthen and deepen in your understanding.
00:06:54.000You see, the left thrives on ingratitude.
00:06:59.000You look at the last of the Ten Commandments, thou shall not covet.
00:07:04.000It's a very interesting commandment because it's the only of the Ten Commandments that deals with the mind.
00:07:10.000It deals with the inner workings of the being, not just the external.
00:07:14.000All the other ten are largely behavioral.
00:07:18.000You shall have no other gods before me.
00:08:11.000I believe if you graduate from college, you graduate with a degree in ingratitude.
00:08:16.000Our side feeds off of love, community, and patriotism.
00:08:19.000And so as you sit around the Thanksgiving table this Thanksgiving, just be thankful that we still have a country.
00:08:28.000Thankful that we have the ability and the agency and the table is set for the greatest reclamation of the Constitution in American history.
00:08:38.000Be thankful that we have this window in time that was given to us that we did not earn to fulfill the founders mandate.
00:08:46.000That we have a 100 year detour that we've been taking post Woodrow Wilson.
00:08:52.000For FDR, to Richard Nixon, to Lyndon Baines Johnson, it was one president after the other, one decision after the other, that grew government, that got us off the founder's course, that made the citizens smaller and the Leviathan bigger.
00:09:08.000And we have this opportunity and we should be thankful for the opportunity.
00:09:12.000And what I'm saying is we should be thankful that we have an opportunity to fight that what we do actually matters.
00:09:17.000And isn't that the greatest of all the things to receive?
00:09:19.000It's not that we received the end result.
00:09:25.000We did not receive the nation backed fully intact, but we received an opening.
00:09:30.000And isn't that all that we were asking for?
00:09:32.000We were asking for just give us a chance.
00:09:35.000Give us the ability to use our free will and our agency, our capacity to think, to be able then to restore liberty if the people were to want it.
00:09:45.000But a prideful and a cocky nation will not be saved.
00:09:49.000You must be humble before the Lord and say, Thank you for allowing us this second chance that we do not deserve.
00:10:33.000If you ever had a doubt that there's a war on the unborn, you now know beyond a doubt that is the case.
00:10:37.000It'd be easy to give up, but you know I'll never give up on giving the truth to girls and women who the other side want to choose death for their baby.

00:14:50.000But from the beginning, they were week to week.
00:14:54.000One super PAC would take a couple weeks and hit Pennsylvania, and then the next one would come in and do the same, and they were all coordinated.
00:16:25.000But from the beginning, they were week to week.
00:16:30.000One super PAC would take a couple weeks and hit Pennsylvania, and then the next one would come in and do the same, and they were all coordinated.
00:16:58.000If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.

00:17:56.000Okay, we have Ken Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas, with some breaking news and a breaking story.
00:18:11.000You're the first person I'm talking to.
00:18:13.000We just filed a lawsuit against State Street Bank, Vanguard, and BlackRock for colluding, buying up shares, large numbers of shares to increase the price of coal by cutting production.
00:18:28.000They make a lot of money, unfortunately, for consumers.
00:18:31.000When that occurs, that means that consumers are paying a lot more for energy.
00:18:35.000And under federal law and some state law, that's illegal.
00:18:40.000And we were joined by 10 other states in filing this lawsuit today.
00:18:45.000So tell us how you came to want to file this and how it affects Texans in particular.
00:18:51.000Well, we knew that there was this effort among banks and other large corporations to follow this climate initiative, the Paris Accord, that Trump got away from, that Biden came back to.
00:19:02.000And it's affecting consumers in all kinds of ways.
00:19:07.000So we're dealing with the banks in Texas.
00:19:09.000And we're actually stopping some of them from doing business here if they discriminate against energy.
00:19:15.000But in this case, we realized that this was having a dramatic impact on energy prices.
00:19:19.000And over a period of time, over the next 10 years, it was going to drive up energy.
00:19:23.000And people who can least afford it are going to be paying higher energy costs.
00:19:26.000So we saw the purchase of all these shares and the controlling of energy Through proxy votes of other shareholders that they were controlling these coal companies and causing them to do the opposite of what you'd expect, which is to produce more and make more.
00:19:44.000That has a deleterious effect on our economy.
00:19:47.000It has a deleterious effect on our consumers.
00:19:49.000And it forces us to buy more energy overseas.
00:19:53.000Yeah, I mean, just to have American companies want the price of energy to go higher, I mean, that's criminal.
00:20:00.000I know that you're suing in a civil way, but I mean, they literally want to break the pocketbook of everyday Americans so that they can make more money.
00:20:09.000That's exactly right, because it's driving up the price.
00:20:13.000So they produce less, and yet they're making more on less volume because their margins are stronger.
00:20:19.000And, you know, it has a negative impact on the country.
00:20:22.000And it's clearly a violation of two different acts, the Clayton Act and the Sherman Act.
00:20:27.000It also violates our deceptive trade practices in Texas and other state laws.
00:20:31.000So there's obviously interest if we have 11 states in dealing with this and protecting our consumers.
00:20:37.000What other states have signed on to this?
00:20:39.000I don't have a list in front of me, but it's probably some of the same.
00:20:43.000Usually we have states like South Carolina and Kansas and Indiana.
00:20:47.000I don't have the whole list, but that's the type of states that typically are with us.
00:20:52.000And this is a big harbinger of things to come.
00:20:54.000Drill baby drill and a departure from the ESG nonsense.
00:20:58.000What would President Trump's energy portfolio and program mean for the state of Texas?
00:21:04.000I think it's amazing for my state because we produce a lot of energy and we were exporting energy.
00:21:10.000A lot of that was cut off by the Biden administration when they shut down the Keystone pipeline and then they opened up the Russian pipeline.
00:21:18.000The Trump administration did just the opposite.
00:21:20.000They wouldn't let the Russian pipeline open.
00:21:22.000They opened up ours and allowed us for the first time, I think, at least in many, many years, decades, to become energy independent.
00:22:22.000We had 22 election initiatives related to voter fraud.
00:22:24.000We got pushed back after we were successful four years from stopping the mail-in ballot scheme that happened in Georgia and Arizona and Pennsylvania.
00:22:32.000And you can see we were successful last time.
00:22:34.000But this time, we had all kinds of different initiatives focused on making sure that our elections were protected.
00:22:39.000I knew if we protected our elections, if we made that our number one priority, I had over 200 lawyers working on this.
00:22:46.000I knew if we protected our elections that the results would be Republican.
00:22:51.000And you'll notice that a lot of our South Texas counties that had been Democrat have moved Republicans, become fully Republican.
00:22:59.000And I think that's because they can see the negative impact of the Biden policies, both internationally, on the border, most affecting them because they're on the border.
00:23:07.000And then also economically, they realize how they were under Trump.
00:23:10.000And how they are under Biden, it's much worse.
00:23:13.000All of that, shockingly to the Democrats, moved them our way.
00:23:17.000So their strategy of bringing in illegals to vote did not overcome the strategy of bringing in Hispanics and other ethnic groups that are now voting Republican because they're being negatively impacted by the Biden administration.
00:23:30.000I mean, this is a game changer that Texas is now R plus 14. I mean, in what world do you think that Georgia goes for Trump by two points and Texas goes to Trump for 14 points?
00:23:46.000General Paxton, you've been filing a lot of lawsuits trying to secure our border and do everything you can.
00:23:52.000What can Trump do to assist you in those lawsuits, specifically going after the NGOs on the southern border?
00:23:59.000Well, actually, now we can find out, hopefully, where that money went, how it was spent, because the way the program worked under Biden, they sent billions of dollars to these NGOs, and they were washing this money.
00:24:10.000And then those NGOs, we believe, were illegally helping the illegal aliens that were coming into our country by moving them around and providing all kinds of services, whether it was giving them a place to live.
00:24:21.000And then the ultimate goal was to put them in the right states, the swing states, to vote.
00:24:25.000And they were helping them get a registered vote.
00:24:29.000We shut it down when we realized our state police were allowing people who could not get legally registered at DPS offices.
00:24:37.000They would let these NGOs set up and register other people, which the only people that need to register there are people who can't qualify as citizens and votes.
00:25:03.000We're not allowed to force people to tell us whether they're citizens or not.
00:25:06.000So I want to know, I want those lawsuits now to tell us, I want the federal government to tell us the answers to those questions so we know who was voting.
00:25:14.000So, Ken, a lot of people were floating out your name for Attorney General.
00:25:18.000I know that you are a big fan of Pam Bondi.
00:25:20.000What is your advice for the incoming Attorney General, and what should her top priorities be?
00:25:25.000Yeah, I worked with Pam when she was Attorney General of Florida.
00:25:28.000I came in after her, and she was part of a leadership team that sued the Obama administration.
00:25:33.000So I would just encourage her to be very aggressive.
00:25:36.000We have a huge job at DOJ and FBI to root out the corruption.
00:25:40.000I think the Obama administration was the beginning of entrenching people at different levels of those organizations.
00:25:47.000And now instead of justice, those those those agencies operate on injustice.
00:25:54.000And I sued Jack Smith over destroying files and tried to stop those destruction.
00:25:58.000I know that they investigated me for four years and I would love to see the files because I have feelings that they did things that they weren't supposed to do and that some of those files are going to disappear.
00:26:22.000And Pam has a huge job in front of her, and there will be internal fights to try to stop her, to hurt her, and she's just going to have to be strong and overcome that and bring in the right people to overcome that.
00:26:32.000Yeah, and so let's dive deeper into that.
00:26:35.000What are some of the top targets you think should Trump Department of Justice should go after criminal enterprises that have not been prosecuted or looked into in the last couple of years?
00:26:44.000So look, I know that the Public Integrity Unit has targeted people.
00:26:48.000We need to dig into that unit and find out who they are, what they're doing.
00:26:54.000I've been dealing with them for four years.
00:26:56.000Ever since Biden came into office, I've been under investigation.
00:26:59.000And I think that now is obviously over because they spent four years trying to either dig something up, which was unsuccessful, or they tried to create something for me.
00:27:07.000And I think that's the way they've operated.
00:27:09.000I also think we need to start focusing on prosecuting things that have not been prosecuted.
00:27:13.000They need to go back to doing their job of focusing on terrorism and focusing on actual crime, organized crime.
00:27:20.000They were created to stop organized crime, and they became organized crime, funded by taxpayer dollars.
00:27:26.000We're a long way from where we started, and we need to get back to the Department of Justice and the FBI doing the things that they were created to do.
00:27:42.000What should Pam Bondi look for in the type of deputies, chief of staff, and the team to be able to withstand the ferocity of the regime in Washington, D.C.? Look, the kind of people you have to have that I've had to survive this, the internal fights and the external fights, you've got to have really tough people who don't care what is being said about them and who are really smart and tenacious.
00:28:06.000Because if you're not tenacious, if you're not persistent, they will perceive you as weak.
00:28:18.000They will be leaking negative things about her constantly.
00:28:20.000And she's going to have to be willing to just ignore that and keep going.
00:28:23.000And she's going to have to have people working for her who are tough and who are willing to get in there and not worry about what's being said about them and endure the pain of the first year to two years of extricating the people that need to go.
00:28:48.000When it comes to nutrition, we want what's best for ourselves and our family, including our four-legged family too.

00:30:00.000Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Donald Trump Jr., Ben Carson, Tim Poole, Glenn Beck, We're good to go.
00:30:26.000George Janko, Roger Stone, Allie B. Stuckey, Lee Allen-Baker, Paul Saladino, Harmeet Dillon, John Amanchuku, Callie Means, Angela Holley, Ariel Reitzmia, Vani Hari, Scott Pressler, and Cliff Maloney.
00:30:57.000Okay, I want to go deeper into this story that we were touching on earlier, which is the Democrats try to explain away why Kamala Harris lost, which is really interesting.
00:31:06.000They're saying that none of their internal polling showed them up.
00:31:09.000If that's the case, why did they have the most boring, stale campaign imaginable?
00:31:15.000This is David Plouffe, Playcut 55. You know, she was on tape.
00:31:19.000You know, surgery for trans, for people who want to transition in prison was part of the Biden-Harris platform in 2020. It was part of what the administration did.
00:31:33.000So we took it very seriously, but it wasn't something, at the end of the day, what matters in election is.
00:31:39.000Is something causing someone to behave differently, either who they vote for or whether they vote?
00:31:46.000And our sense was in the battleground states, This was not driving vote behavior to the same extent like the economy was generally, even immigration.
00:31:59.000So I think that it's important to understand, I think, that we were very much in voyeuristic listening mode here in terms of how are voters processing this?
00:32:11.000That is David Plouffe, the former Obama campaign manager, author of Audacity to Win, and also came in at the late...
00:32:19.000Moment to be the campaign manager for Kamala Harris.
00:32:22.000They were unable to debunk the fact that Kamala Harris wanted surgeries for illegal immigrants paid for taxpayers for gender transition because it was true.
00:32:35.000Let's play cut 51. 51 is all about public polling.
00:32:40.000Play cut 51. When we got in, my recollection is some of that snapped back, but, you know, we were behind.
00:32:46.000I mean, I think it surprised people because there was these public polls that came out in late September, early October showing us with leads that we never saw.
00:32:54.000You know, I mean, it was just basically a race that in the battlegrounds was 46-47, 47-48.
00:33:11.000And so I think when you think about our own internal analytics, you know, if you have Wisconsin at 47-47 or Pennsylvania 48-47 Trump, let's say, which I think is where we had it at the end, you know, you've got to have undecided to break your way more than your opponents, and you've got to get a little benefit from turnout, which we weren't able to do.
00:34:25.000They were using vanity metrics and we said that the entire time.
00:34:28.000We said that this is a vanity metric driven campaign.
00:34:32.000The entire time we made that argument, 400,000 low propensity voters in Arizona, and we got a lot of them out to vote, and Donald Trump won Arizona by 197,000 votes.
00:34:47.000You can knock on 10 million doors all you want, but how many new voters did you get into the system?
00:34:52.000The answer is they were just kind of paying these canvassing firms and they were probably taking 20% off the top and getting nothing for it.
00:34:58.000They were trying to get strangers to vote.
00:35:01.000Our team was getting friends and relationships to go vote.
00:35:05.000People that they've developed relationships with.
00:35:07.000Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:35:08.000Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:35:10.000Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
