00:03:03.600 We've heard a lot about the lockdowns we've just experienced with the horrific last two and a half years.
00:03:11.140 But people were talking about more lockdowns coming, but this time climate lockdowns.
00:03:17.360 Do you see that coming? And what is it?
00:03:19.540 Yes. In fact, I have two chapters in my book, The Great Reset, just on this COVID climate connection.
00:03:24.280 And they're very open about it.
00:03:25.820 What happened was in March 2020, when we unprecedentedly, essentially locked down healthy people, and lockdown is a prison term.
00:03:33.600 So this had never been done in free society.
00:03:36.260 It was just never a recommendation.
00:03:37.720 It just happened because we were following China.
00:03:40.600 Essentially, the climate activists were at first jealous.
00:03:44.040 And then, I mean, at first upset that all this was happening for climate.
00:03:48.000 And then they got over that jealousy, and then they wanted to copy it.
00:03:51.980 They actually said things like, if we can shut down the world for a virus, we can do the same for climate.
00:03:57.600 And John Kerry, the climate envoy, actually said, you know, the parallels between COVID and climate are screaming at us.
00:04:03.660 So that sent a signal to everyone that if we can do this for COVID, we're going to start setting this up to do for climate.
00:04:10.900 And we saw it.
00:04:11.840 Now, when I say what's happening, this is in 230 medical journals.
00:04:17.040 Harvard Medical School is behind this.
00:04:20.380 The journal Nature, the most prestigious scientific journal in the world, is behind this.
00:04:25.220 They're all coming out with studies now saying unchecked climate change will lead to more viruses.
00:04:30.880 Now, what they mean by that is essentially if you don't support the Green New Deal or the UN-Paris Agreement, you're a grandma killer because you're going to create more viruses.
00:04:40.520 It's a way to merge these two issues because for years, decades, climate had failed to gain traction.
00:04:45.280 Even when Obama had super majorities in the House and Senate, he couldn't get a climate bill passed, which is why he bypassed democracy, went the Chinification of America executive order route.
00:04:54.500 Same thing Biden did.
00:04:55.440 But essentially, what we're seeing now is these medical journals, International Energy Agency, a Gates Soros-funded professor actually say, after the COVID lockdowns, we have to now be ready for climate lockdowns or energy lockdowns.
00:05:10.320 But they actually use the phrase climate lockdowns.
00:05:12.280 A Gates, Bill Gates, George Soros-funded professor used that phrase, not a climate skeptic or anyone else.
00:05:18.820 And the gist behind it is you can read these reports where they actually openly say we're going to use the COVID lockdown template or the response from COVID, the same template, as the model for climate.
00:05:29.020 Remember, COVID happened, the authority happened because it was declared an emergency, because every governor and mayor got dictatorial powers overnight.
00:05:37.060 You can cancel church service, you can close gyms, cancel school, cancel weddings, funerals, issue stay-at-home orders, do curfews.
00:05:45.240 But hey, Walmart was open.
00:05:46.560 Somehow that was safe.
00:05:47.860 And this was done through the unelected bureaucracy.
00:05:50.480 So this is what the climate, Jane Fonda, the climate activist, said, COVID was God's gift to the left.
00:05:56.040 And what she meant by that is they could impose their agenda without the messiness of democracy.
00:06:02.760 COVID powers gave them that.
00:06:04.500 So what do I mean by a climate lockdown?
00:06:06.000 The Associated Press, the Washington Post, again, these are mainstream media sources, are now telling us that Joe Biden is about to declare a national climate emergency, which will give him 140 new executive powers.
00:06:19.660 We already know from all these reports that what they want to do with it.
00:06:24.220 They want to start limiting car travel, airplane travel once every three years.
00:06:30.020 They're actually openly stating you need to, under a declared climate emergency, you need a moral justification to fly.
00:06:36.020 You can't just get in a plane and fly on a vacation because that's immoral in their view.
00:06:40.860 They're openly talking about restrictions, energy restrictions.
00:06:45.240 We're already seeing it now in Colorado.
00:06:46.860 People want to turn their air conditioners colder during a heat wave, but the utility took over the thermostat, declaring an energy emergency.
00:06:53.760 California is banning gas-powered cars as a measure to essentially create automobile chaos and create car shortages, a la Cuba or East Germany, where you had to wait for five years on the crappy government Trabant car, the East German government car.
00:07:09.760 You had to wait five years to get.
00:07:11.020 We're going to see a situation now in the United States where we're going to be on waiting lists for electric cars and banned from buying gas-powered cars.
00:07:17.800 So this is what a climate emergency looks like, and the key thing here is the word emergency because people aren't going to vote to stop eating meat.
00:07:27.780 They're not going to vote to stop driving gas-powered cars.
00:07:30.440 They're not going to vote for VAX mandates or lockdowns or closure of churches.
00:07:34.720 These are all imposed upon us.
00:07:36.640 That's why Jane Fonda said it was God's gift to the left.
00:07:39.480 That's what they're seeking.
00:07:40.560 That's what the Great Reset is.
00:07:41.760 It's a denial of democracy because under emergencies, you can pretty much ā€“ government has huge, broad powers.
00:07:48.880 And in the book, I go back to the Roman Republic and show that throughout history, the Middle Ages, going to 1930s Germany, even the U.S. with the Patriot Act after 2001, creating the surveillance state against our own citizens, and, of course, COVID and now climate emergency, this is where the greatest abuses of government come against their citizens.
00:08:07.100 So that's, in essence, why ā€“ what a climate emergency is going to look like.
00:08:11.640 It's a bypassing a democracy with a ginned-up fake emergency so that they can have emergency powers to basically impose what they think we need.

00:08:21.100 What in the world do lockdowns have to do with the climate?
00:08:24.920 How is it that it can be a lockdown to help the climate?
00:08:28.440 What even sense does that make?
00:08:29.420 Okay, in my book, I show that the COVID lockdowns were literally a version of what they'd called for for decades in the climate movement.
00:08:38.520 I attend every United Nations Climate Summit, and I'm going to the one in Egypt this year.
00:08:42.640 I was at the one last year in Scotland.
00:08:44.080 I was at the one in Madrid before that, going back 20 years.
00:08:46.720 The Johannesburg, South Africa was my first one in 2002.
00:08:49.540 And what these summits call for, they have speakers, they have events, and what they call for is the degrowth movement or planned recessions.
00:08:59.620 This is their exact phrase, climate act, was planned recessions to fight global warming.
00:09:04.400 And what that means is the government imposes lower economic growth or forces a recession to lower emissions.
00:09:10.820 So if you recall, what COVID lockdowns have to do with the climate is they reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
00:09:17.200 And they were praised universally by UN chiefs, by climate activist politicians around the world, saying these are great for the environment.
00:09:25.860 Nature is returning to normal.
00:09:27.640 Look at how clear the skies are.
00:09:29.620 They were just gaga over these COVID lockdowns.
00:09:32.520 And here's the weird part.
00:09:33.660 In November 2019, the United Nations said we needed a 7% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from the world in order to meet the UN-Paris climate agreement goals.
00:09:45.840 Well, one year later, because of lockdowns, we had a 7% reduction in carbon dioxide.
00:09:50.740 So it was almost like the UN called it.
00:09:53.120 And seven years prior to lockdown, a UN climate chief named Ivo DeBoer actually said the only way to meet our climate targets is to have a global shutdown of the economy.
00:10:02.740 So this idea of shutting down the economy was huge throughout the climate movement long before COVID.
00:10:09.160 So when COVID happened, it was like, shazam, this is our solution.
00:10:13.160 This is solving both COVID and climate at the same time.
00:10:16.200 And John Kerry actually said it.
00:10:17.780 Whatever you do to address COVID also helps address climate.
00:10:21.120 In other words, if you live under authoritarianism, if you live under government control over every aspect of your life, you're solving viruses, you're solving climate.

00:10:31.620 You're also solving, you know, transgender is whatever issue, whatever the woke issue is.
00:10:37.240 The point is they want control and they'll do whatever they have, whether it's a virus, whether it's climate, you name it.

00:10:44.860 That's really what this is about.
00:10:45.980 Emergency powers to bypass democracy.
00:10:48.560 So one of the things early on in these climate conferences, right from Cairo on forward, they were talking about its relation to overpopulation.
00:10:57.940 What's the relationship there?
00:10:59.920 And are they still pushing population control?
00:11:02.500 And what are they looking for in terms of the world population anyway?
00:11:05.220 They're looking for less people of color.
00:11:06.960 And that's explicit.

00:11:11.920 Al Gore was at a Bill Gates event with Bill Gates on the stage.
00:11:15.400 We featured this in our film Climate Hustle 2 as well.
00:11:19.000 And he said Africa is projected to have more people, more population than China and India combined by mid-century.
00:11:26.400 And therefore, we need what he called ubiquitous fertility management in order to control the number of Africans.
00:11:32.700 So in other words, we have a white, wealthy Western politician, Al Gore, at a Bill Gates event lamenting that there's going to be too many Africans in the year 2050 and that we need fertility management, which could be everything from contraceptive to abortion to who knows, at this point, China's one party.
00:11:49.300 Well, we're following so much of what China does.
00:11:51.800 Why not impose that on Africa as well?
00:11:54.680 So this is a huge part of it.
00:11:56.100 I interviewed Hans Schudenhuber, the German climate advisor at a UN climate summit, and he's one of these people who believe the carrying capacity of the earth is only about a billion people.
00:12:06.600 Well, we have about, what, 7 billion now, so he wants to deny about 6 billion people.
00:12:10.880 That's their long-term goal is to create resource scarcity shortages, and that will naturally help shrink the population in their mind.
00:12:20.640 And that's what we're dealing with.
00:12:21.580 So it's a big part of this movement is the earth can't handle people.
00:12:25.260 People are resource hogs.
00:12:27.240 We're destroying the earth, and we need to manage them, fertility management of them, and we need to reduce numbers.

00:12:59.700 What is your best suggestion for fighting this agenda, for bringing freedom back to our lands and to the world?
00:13:08.020 Well, actually, I interviewed VƔclav Klaas, the former president of Czech Republic, and he grew up under communism his whole life.
00:13:16.220 He was considered the leading anti-communist intellectual, and he was, of course, censored and had all kinds of problems with the government there.
00:13:23.060 And he ended up prevailing.
00:13:24.300 But he compared the COVID lockdowns to what they did under Soviet and Eastern Bloc tyranny, and he said they didn't call it social distancing, but it was the same idea.
00:13:35.540 They didn't want people to assemble because if they assembled, they would then come up with ideas that the government didn't like.
00:13:41.560 They might plan protests, all sorts of things.
00:13:44.140 So his idea, the way he actually says the way to fight back against this reset, against these kind of tyrannical lockdowns of government control, you have to defy at every level.
00:13:53.840 That means defy mask mandates, defy vaccine passports.
00:13:58.060 And I detail in the book about the lowest level of politics, the entry level, the school boards, how angry parents showing up at school board meetings actually created a political rebellion that turned out to a national movement.
00:14:12.280 And it turned the election in Virginia.
00:14:14.900 The Democrat machine was toppled.
00:14:16.480 So much so that the National Democratic Party did focus groups, and they realized that their own base was going to pay, their own party was going to pay a huge price for all these vaccine mandates and mask mandates.
00:14:28.500 Within weeks of this focus group, the Democratic Party did, as reported by the New York Times, they lifted all the vaccine mandates in New York, Baltimore, Washington, L.A., San Francisco.
00:14:39.040 The politics had changed, the political, they said the science had changed.
00:14:43.840 Well, it was the political science that changed.
00:14:46.500 And so the way to fight back is angry parents at a school board fought back, resistance at every level.
00:14:52.280 I also give the analogy in the book, the Berlin Wall in 1989 didn't fall live on CNN because the East German government said, ah, 40 years of Soviet domination, that's enough.
00:15:02.440 Let's free the people of Eastern Europe and East Germany.
00:15:05.540 It fell because people no longer gave their consent to tyranny.
00:15:09.340 And I think that's the lesson here.
00:15:10.720 We have to resist.

00:15:14.340 When it comes to practical things, you can't give in to energy blackouts.
00:15:18.680 We have to stop pandering to this net zero Green New Deal agenda.
00:15:22.740 We have to stop pandering to the anti-freedom of movement agenda and say no to bans on gas-powered cars.

00:15:50.500 That's one of the key things, parents fighting back against the tyranny in schools and the COVID theater and critical race theory and transgenderism.
00:15:58.280 That motivated parents like we've never seen, and they're winning school board races, and they're sending messages, and it's a ripple effect throughout all of politics.
00:16:06.620 One of the weirdest manifestations we've seen to date has been the push on eating bugs.

00:16:16.740 Commercials with stars showing they're eating bugs.
00:16:19.320 They're pushing this on kids.
00:16:21.340 They've got even commercials with little school children eating chips with bugs in them, bug protein.
00:16:28.120 Tell us what's behind that and what you make of it.
00:16:30.240 Yes, I call it the great food reset, and it's part of my book.
00:16:33.640 This is a huge part.
00:16:34.840 Okay, you have to understand what's happening in agriculture.
00:16:37.080 So before I specifically say insects, let me just give you the big picture.
00:16:40.020 In 2019, the United Nations issued an agricultural report, and in this report, they claim that food was essentially one of the biggest contributors,
00:16:50.060 up to 40% of the greenhouse gas emissions, and that we had to change, radically transform modern agriculture.
00:16:55.920 So they're going after high-yield agriculture, which has produced and which has literally altered the world since the 1950s and 60s under the tutelage of Norman Borlaug.
00:17:06.680 High-yield agriculture has literally fed the world, staved off famines, has been one of the greatest boons to humans in the history of our planet is this modern agricultural revolution.
00:17:18.700 The United Nations set out the message that we had to stop nitrogen fertilizer because it created nitrogen oxide, and it was going to be a dangerous warming gas.
00:17:27.060 They're even going after our human urine article a couple months ago in Scientific American.
00:17:31.600 Your human pee is a greenhouse gas creating dangerous warming, and they're telling us that we have to stop eating meat because there's too much protein.
00:17:39.440 I mean, our breath is a toxic pollutant because we exhale CO2.
00:17:43.340 Now our pee is a warming gas.
00:17:45.280 They're going after humans.
00:17:46.400 You get the idea there's a war on humans?
00:17:47.800 Anyway, so they want to go after high-yield agriculture.
00:17:50.180 Bill Gates, well, first of all, Politico had a whole feature, I feature this in the book, about a fear over Chinese land monopoly of farmland in the U.S.
00:17:58.600 They're gobbling up farms, so there's now investigations.
00:18:01.020 How do we stop China?
00:18:02.080 We don't want China to own all the farmland, but don't worry.
00:18:04.680 We believe in competition.
00:18:05.920 Bill Gates has now surpassed China as America's single largest farmland owner.
00:18:10.900 Now, who do you want to win that battle?
00:18:12.340 I think China might be a better, I think I'd rather China because it's harder to fight someone like Bill Gates.
00:18:17.800 He's paid $300, bought the media.
00:18:20.420 He's a monopolist, very hard to fight.
00:18:23.380 At least China, it's a foreign entity.
00:18:25.100 You figure we could throw them out some way a lot easier than you can get rid of Bill Gates.
00:18:28.440 But anyway, so what's Bill Gates' agenda when he buys all this farmland?
00:18:31.720 He's going to have huge sway in agricultural policy.
00:18:34.220 His number one goal is to stop the eating of meat.
00:18:39.040 And by doing so, he's not necessarily pushing these vegetable oil processed impossible gross burgers.
00:18:44.520 No, he is pushing what's called synthetic meat.
00:18:48.940 Synthetic meat is where you get stem cells from a cow or a chicken, and then you get the placenta blood from the dead, unborn cow or chicken.
00:18:56.580 You put it in a lab for months, and it's susceptible to viruses and disease.
00:19:01.540 You try to keep it clean.
00:19:02.740 You let it percolate.
00:19:03.920 It grows into some kind of mutant animal pod.
00:19:07.940 And then when it's ready to be turned into meat, they get a 3D printer, and they process it through that, and they try to make it look authentic.
00:19:15.040 And this is what he wants people eating.
00:19:17.240 This is what they're spending billions of dollars investing.
00:19:19.900 That's only part of the story.
00:19:20.980 You asked me about insects.
00:19:21.900 The other thing is they are pushing hard because they want to ban meat.
00:19:26.000 They're pushing hard now to promote insects as a replacement.
00:19:30.260 Stephen Colbert had Hollywood celebrities on a few weeks ago touting insect powder as protein powder, normalizing it.
00:19:37.840 Australia just introduced 1,000 and 1,000 schools insect cricket snacks to kids with the explicit goal of telling the kids to go home and pester their parents in order to get these snacks because they're healthy.
00:19:51.100 They're healthy for the planet.
00:19:52.400 You can save the planet by eating cricket snacks.
00:19:55.520 In the defense of the kids, the kids are eating what looks like potato chips.
00:19:59.220 It's a cricket paste, which they throw the oil and the fat and all the grease and the barbecue salt and all that processed and all that seasoning.
00:20:07.200 So you really don't know what you're eating.
00:20:08.380 It doesn't taste like insects, but it's a psychological operation.
00:20:11.760 It's a psychob to force it.
00:20:13.460 They literally, the World Economic Forum, which is the head of the Great Reset, cannot push insect eating more than they are.
00:20:20.900 I mean, it is like pushed at every level on every website and every video.
00:20:24.920 They do all about trying to normalize insect eating as a replacement for the meat that they're banning as we speak.
00:20:31.160 They're already making meat very expensive, which is the goal.
00:20:34.440 And of course, it won't be banned at Davos meetings, the World Economic Forum or UN Climate Summits.
00:20:40.320 And the same thing is we'll have trouble flying, but Bill Gates and his friends will fly private jets.
00:20:46.100 We'll have trouble affording energy bills and blackouts.
00:20:48.880 But believe me, the Gavin Newsom's and the Al Gore's, they're going to have plenty of energy.
00:20:52.800 That's the way the system works.
00:20:54.060 And I liken it to the old Soviet system.
00:20:55.840 The Politburo lived very well in the old Soviet system, but the unwashed masses below him did not.

00:21:03.680 This craziness about we can't fly anywhere, but the people who are pushing this agenda, they fly everywhere.
00:21:10.360 Here in Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau has made of the, you know, of jet setting around the world, just a very common weekly experience.
00:21:18.260 The same people saying, oh, but we have to restrict our travel for the sake of the environment.
00:21:22.940 This is a huge part of the Great Reset is the limits on your freedom.
00:21:32.620 And I go into great lengths to show you how COVID lockdowns and a climate lockdown are so similar because they literally have the same goal.
00:21:40.940 They don't want us to have the freedom to get in a car and travel.
00:21:44.260 Going after the concept of ownership, that's the key here.
00:21:47.620 World Economic Forum just questioned whether car ownership should be allowed.
00:21:51.940 Andrew Yang, who ran for the Democratic nomination, called for the end of private car ownership.
00:21:56.700 He said we need to have roving fleets of rental electric cars you call up on an app.
00:22:01.440 The U.K. Transportation Secretary earlier this year announced that owning a car was 20th century outdated thinking.
00:22:09.740 Beyond just cars, land ownership.
00:22:11.980 The U.N. had something called the Vancouver Declaration a few years back where they declared owning land leads to concentration of wealth and social inequity.
00:22:21.720 So remember, they mean it when they say you'll own nothing and you'll be happy.
00:22:26.220 But what they really mean is someone will own something.
00:22:29.260 It won't be you.
00:22:30.020 It'll be, and we're seeing this happen, as the economy tanks, people lose their jobs.
00:22:35.160 You lose your job because you don't get a vaccine mandate.
00:22:36.900 You lose your job because of lockdown.
00:22:38.620 You lose your property.
00:22:39.940 Equity asset firms coming in, all the major cities gobbling up whole neighborhoods.
00:22:44.240 We're seeing it happening in farming as distressed farmers because of supply chain issues, because of inflation, going under because of all the lockdowns and these economic policies limiting their production.
00:22:55.360 We're seeing it in the Netherlands in real time.
