00:00:00.000 Is coronavirus a pandemic or a Dem panic?
00:00:04.020 Should we lather ourselves in hand sanitizer to keep Kung Flu away?
00:00:08.300 Or is the left-wing media blowing the Wuhan virus out of proportion?
00:00:12.260 We will examine the facts as well as many other funny names for the public health crisis.
00:00:17.180 Then Kamala Harris endorses a man she considers a vile racist.
00:00:21.880 Hillary Clinton refuses to endorse anybody.
00:00:24.320 And MSNBC's Brian Williams teams up with New York Times editorial board member
00:00:28.300 Mara Gay to fail at basic arithmetic.
00:00:31.740 All that and more.
00:00:32.520 I'm Michael Knowles and this is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:00:41.720 Everyone is freaking out over the Wu Flu.
00:00:45.380 South by Southwest has been canceled.
00:00:47.780 This is the biggest, one of the biggest pop culture events of the year in the United States.
00:00:54.060 It's wreaking havoc on all sorts of conferences, speeches, public events.
00:00:57.620 Italy now is quarantining 16 million people.
00:01:02.660 And what's even tougher for Italy is they're quarantining people in their most economically
00:01:07.100 productive region.
00:01:08.560 So they're quarantining people in Lombardy, which is where Milan is.
00:01:13.460 So they're quarantining Venice, some of the most famous cities in Italy.
00:01:17.560 Rome has stopped all public masses.
00:01:19.960 Imagine that.
00:01:20.940 You have the heart of the Catholic Church in the most Catholic country in the world.
00:01:25.940 No masses during Lent.
00:01:29.060 Nobody can go to a public mass.
00:01:32.480 That's just what's going on around Italy.
00:01:35.800 What else is going around?
00:01:37.360 It is wreaking havoc on flights.
00:01:40.200 Everybody's freaking out.
00:01:41.320 People are going out and buying all sorts of Purell, which is selling for like $100 a bottle.
00:01:46.600 They're, to buy paper towels and toilet paper is very difficult.
00:01:51.140 So is this real?
00:01:53.400 Is this real or is it a panic?
00:01:55.900 Let's look at some of the numbers.
00:01:57.620 The outbreak in Italy at this point is nearly the size of the outbreak in South Korea.
00:02:03.780 Okay.
00:02:04.060 And South Korea had a really pretty broad spread and epidemic.
00:02:08.320 Even so, 16 million people quarantined.
00:02:12.900 Half of Italy is shut down.
00:02:14.980 There have only been 7,300 cases.
00:02:17.780 There have been 366 deaths.
00:02:21.000 So even with the country grinding to a halt, we're talking about a relatively small number
00:02:25.640 of cases.
00:02:26.500 The outbreak in South Korea right now is tapering off.
00:02:29.680 So it was exploding.
00:02:30.780 Now it's slowing down.
00:02:31.920 Same thing is happening in China.
00:02:33.420 It was exploding.
00:02:34.300 Obviously, that's where it began.
00:02:35.180 And now it's slowing down.
00:02:36.840 China quarantined 60 million people.
00:02:42.180 All right.
00:02:42.760 That's a lot of people.
00:02:44.240 So around the world, you've got 110,000 infections so far.
00:02:53.020 You've got 3,800 deaths so far.
00:02:57.240 Most of those have been in China.
00:02:58.820 Three quarters of the cases have been in China, right?
00:03:01.320 So even when we're thinking about this, I think the way the media is portraying it,
00:03:06.080 it seems like, you know, every third person on earth is dropping like flies because of
00:03:11.560 this pandemic.
00:03:12.720 Really, we're talking about very, very few cases.
00:03:16.320 I mean, if you think of just, just 110,000 people, that's, that's a small town.
00:03:20.960 That's the size of South Bend, Indiana, where Mayor Pete Buttigieg runs the show, right?
00:03:24.920 So 3,800 deaths.
00:03:27.480 What is the death rate?
00:03:28.740 Well, we're getting different numbers.
00:03:31.220 Some people are saying it's higher than this.
00:03:32.660 Some people are saying it's lower than this.
00:03:33.920 But one number that keeps popping up is 1.6% death rate.
00:03:39.840 But that doesn't tell you the whole story.
00:03:41.460 Right now, if you look at it by age, you get a much better picture.
00:03:45.360 For people under 40, reports show that this is no worse than the flu.
00:03:52.820 You get the flu, the flu comes around every year.
00:03:55.360 No big deal.
00:03:56.780 For people 40 to 49, it's a little bit worse than the flu.
00:04:01.180 For people 50 to 59, it's a little bit worse than that.
00:04:05.980 For people 60 plus, now you're getting into a little more of a danger zone.
00:04:10.280 It's considerably worse than the flu.
00:04:13.620 Still, though, not, you know, going to wipe out a whole generation.
00:04:18.040 When you get to 70 plus, that's when you get to a 1 in 10 chance of death.
00:04:22.920 So that is pretty serious, right?
00:04:25.680 Now, the fact that when you get to 70 plus is when it really starts to take off is why the overall death rate has been skewed up to 1.6%.
00:04:35.020 Some people are saying it's higher, but what do we know?
00:04:39.080 Now, that's just the threat to personal health.
00:04:41.880 The other part of this problem, if we're trying to figure out if the Dems and the media are just making everybody panic for nothing or if this is real,
00:04:48.320 is the effect of the Wuhan virus on health systems.
00:04:52.760 So if everybody gets chopped fluy all at once, then that's going to overwhelm the health systems.
00:04:57.960 It's going to overwhelm hospitals.
00:04:59.680 And more people will die than otherwise would.
00:05:02.360 So that's going to cause the death rate to tick up.
00:05:04.160 Not because the virus got any worse, but because there aren't enough beds in the hospital,
00:05:09.500 because there aren't enough doctors to go around, because everybody's getting sick all at the same time.
00:05:13.840 So what should we do?
00:05:17.240 Step one, remain calm.
00:05:19.740 Whenever the media are trying to get you excited and agitated, you know the first thing you have to do.
00:05:27.160 Remain calm.
00:05:28.080 You are very unlikely to face serious harm from the sweet and sour sicken.
00:05:33.200 Okay, it's very unlikely.
00:05:35.760 The government, however, should overreact.
00:05:38.760 So, you know, we've been hearing conveniently, you always would hear this from the left,
00:05:43.280 that, that the Trump administration is botching this.
00:05:45.800 They're failing.
00:05:46.600 They're putting everybody at risk, right?
00:05:47.960 They would have said that regardless of what the Trump administration had done.
00:05:51.160 The Trump administration appointed the number two person in America, the vice president,
00:05:54.960 to lead the task force.
00:05:56.140 And that's still not good enough for the left wingers.
00:05:58.460 So the government is, is overreacting right now.
00:06:01.980 That's a good thing.
00:06:02.620 The government needs to overreact to quell fears, public fears and economic fears.
00:06:07.580 There is a far greater risk of problems if everybody freaks out and starts hoarding
00:06:12.840 and overwhelming the healthcare system and tanking the economy.
00:06:16.060 Then you could get into a troublesome situation.
00:06:18.540 So I think it's good that the Trump administration is overreacting.
00:06:22.200 Also, is this a Dem panic?
00:06:24.100 Yes.
00:06:24.520 The Democrats are obviously exploiting this for political purposes.
00:06:28.440 The media are obviously exploiting this for their own political advantage.
00:06:33.620 How do we know that?
00:06:34.200 We'll get to that in a second.
00:06:34.980 First, I got to thank our friends over at Fairway Meat Market.
00:06:38.580 Fairway is a family owned grocery chain that's been in business since 1938.
00:06:42.880 Fairway's premium beef and all natural pork is raised by family farmers and hand cut
00:06:47.760 by a highly experienced team of Fairway butchers.
00:06:51.160 From ribs to ribeyes, pork chops, beef tenderloin, this stuff is really, really good.
00:06:55.960 Their certified Duroc heritage pork is crafted in small batches by Midwest Family Farms,
00:07:01.520 making it the most succulent pork you have ever tasted.
00:07:03.760 I had some, I had the pork just about a week ago and it was fabulous.
00:07:07.640 It was excellent, excellent pork.
00:07:09.260 And then I made myself a New York strip steak from Fairway about two nights ago and it was
00:07:13.940 sweet as well.
00:07:14.720 It was really, really, really good.
00:07:16.760 FairwayMeatMarket.com also gives you free access to recipes.

00:07:46.380 Look for the Heartland Package.
00:07:47.640 That's FairwayMeatMarket.com.
00:07:49.280 Promo code Knolls.
00:07:50.460 Look for the Heartland Package.
00:07:52.160 Yeah, they're obviously the media are exploiting this for political purposes.
00:07:58.600 We'll see why in just one second.
00:08:00.480 But even before we see all their reasons for it, just remember you can't trust the media.
00:08:05.640 Okay.
00:08:05.860 They've lied to us repeatedly.
00:08:08.220 They will do anything they can to reduce Trump's chances at reelection.
00:08:13.220 Look at how they have handled news coverage for just the last three and a half years.
00:08:20.220 Forget even before that.
00:08:21.780 They've made things up out of whole cloth.
00:08:24.220 The Russia collusion hoax.
00:08:26.700 Do you remember ABC News when Trump was rearranging some forces in the Middle East and he was pulling
00:08:33.780 some troops out of Syria.
00:08:35.440 They ran footage showing the Turks bombing our greatest ally ever, the Kurds.
00:08:42.060 And this was devastating and was meant to make Trump look terrible.
00:08:45.540 The video was from a gun show in Kentucky two years ago.
00:08:50.880 It wasn't even from this year and it certainly wasn't from Syria.
00:08:54.720 That's what we get from the mainstream media.
00:08:57.020 So please forgive me if I'm a little skeptical of their coverage.
00:09:01.560 So what should you do?
00:09:02.640 You should use common sense, which is something that the mainstream media certainly will not
00:09:06.420 tell you, but it is the best advice in times like these.
00:09:10.040 The way I know that this is, I'm not saying the Wuhan virus is nothing.
00:09:13.820 I'm saying you should take a lot of precautions.
00:09:15.480 But the way I know that this is at least in part a Dem panic is that the Dems are panicking
00:09:21.300 about so many other things too.
00:09:24.300 Mostly the fact that their chances of winning the presidency in 2020 are dropping every single
00:09:30.740 day.
00:09:33.140 The establishment of the left has coalesced right now around Joe Biden, right?
00:09:38.640 So they're all coming together.
00:09:41.400 Cory Booker just when I woke up this morning, he sent out a tweet about how important it
00:09:44.780 is.
00:09:44.980 We got to endorse Joe Biden, right?
00:09:47.680 Cory, I forgot Cory Booker was even running in the race at one point.
00:09:50.660 Every single day, however, Joe Biden seems less and less lucid and, and the left are, they're
00:09:59.940 spinning up as many narratives about this as they can.
00:10:03.940 But it's pretty clear.
00:10:06.060 Joe is losing his marbles.
00:10:08.380 We saw this the other night.
00:10:10.200 Joe was at a campaign event.
00:10:12.520 He forgot Barack Obama's name.
00:10:16.180 We have a conversion of the road to Damascus.
00:10:18.320 Because now you say, by the way, are you going to stick with the president on the following
00:10:24.240 president, the last guy on this issue and just start naming them, whatever it is.
00:10:30.600 President, uh, uh, the last guy, president, last guy.
00:10:33.720 I don't think that's what his name was.
00:10:34.840 So that was one event.
00:10:35.720 Now people are going to write this off.
00:10:38.380 They'll say, Oh, Joe, he just changed his train of thought.
00:10:40.640 Look, he was just going, it makes it easier to relate to people.
00:10:42.900 It's talking about the last guy.
00:10:43.740 It's no big deal.
00:10:44.900 You're looking too far into it.
00:10:46.860 No, he forgot his name.
00:10:49.480 How do I know that Joe Biden forgot Barack Obama's name?
00:10:53.020 Because he did it again.
00:10:54.680 Because they invaded another country and annexed a significant portion of it called Crimea.
00:11:01.840 He's saying that it was president, my boss, it was his fault.
00:11:08.560 You're going to tell me that that he just changed his mind.
00:11:11.220 He was just actually changing the way he spoke.
00:11:12.900 No, he forgot the guy's name.
00:11:14.780 It was president, uh, my boss, president, my boss.
00:11:22.120 Look, this would be bad if anybody in the country forgot the last president's name.
00:11:26.820 It's especially embarrassing for Joe Biden, who, who worked for the guy for eight years
00:11:32.120 as his vice president.
00:11:33.920 So he's clearly forgetting names as happens to people as they get a little bit older.
00:11:39.580 Usually they're not running for president at the time.
00:11:41.080 But then he didn't just forget his former employer's name, former president.
00:11:46.720 He's also forgetting his own name.
00:11:49.980 We're going to unite this party and unite this country.
00:11:52.880 So folks, if you want to nominate a Democrat, a lifelong Democrat, a proud Democrat, an O'Biden
00:12:04.980 bomber Democrat, join us.
00:12:08.580 If you want to nominate an O'Biden bomber Democrat, I think Joe Biden just made Barack Obama much
00:12:15.660 more Irish than he was.
00:12:17.500 O'Biden, Barack Hussein O'Biden.
00:12:20.120 Hello.
00:12:20.680 How are y'all doing?
00:12:21.760 Hey, uh, not good.
00:12:24.400 Not a good look.
00:12:25.580 If it were just once, you could forgive it.
00:12:27.500 If it were just even twice, you could.
00:12:29.040 This is in keeping with a pattern.
00:12:32.100 All right.
00:12:32.500 And Joe Biden is showing signs of decline.
00:12:36.380 And now we're going to notice all of those signs of decline much more.
00:12:39.740 It's amazing the way that the left treats the legacy of Ronald Reagan.
00:12:43.260 Ronald Reagan, throughout his presidency, he had maybe the quickest wit of any president
00:12:48.560 we've had, possibly other than Donald Trump.
00:12:50.600 That guy's pretty quick on his feet too.
00:12:51.840 He turned the economy around, gave us 25 years of prosperity.
00:12:56.940 He won the Cold War, right, in the latter days of his presidency, held intense one-on-one
00:13:03.760 negotiations with Mikhail Gorbachev.
00:13:06.420 And they say he was demented.
00:13:08.600 He was senile.
00:13:09.440 He had Alzheimer's at the end of his presidency.
00:13:12.580 They insist on that.
00:13:13.740 Any left-wing documentary, biography of Ronald Reagan will talk about how he was showing
00:13:18.300 signs of, of decline at the end of his presidency.
00:13:21.840 Joe Biden is showing way clearer signs of decline at, before his presidency, before he even gets
00:13:28.440 to a general election to try to win the presidency.
00:13:32.060 Obviously, total hypocrisy here, a complete double standard.
00:13:36.360 It's not even just on the names.
00:13:38.400 It's on basic facts.
00:13:39.540 It's on basic policy.
00:13:40.520 We'll get to that in a second.
00:13:41.300 First, I got to thank our friends over at Keeps.
00:13:43.800 Speaking of what happens when we get older, do you know that two out of three guys will
00:13:47.220 experience some form of male pattern baldness by the time they're 35?
00:13:52.260 They will.
00:13:53.140 Listen, I'm not exactly a hulking Adonis of a man.
00:13:56.040 One thing that's always kept me in good stead with the ladies?
00:13:59.100 Nice head of hair.
00:14:00.440 With today's advancements in science, Keeps offers proven treatments that can combat the
00:14:04.880 symptoms of hair loss and help you keep the hair you have at half the cost of your local

00:14:17.700 So the sooner you start using Keeps, the more hair you'll save.

00:14:26.280 You can do it.
00:14:27.120 You've just got to take that first step.

00:14:34.440 You will get your first month of treatment free.
00:14:36.780 Consider that my gift to you.
00:14:38.640 That is K-E-E-P-S dot com slash Michael.
00:14:44.740 Keeps.
00:14:45.320 Go over.
00:14:45.740 Check it out now.
00:14:48.160 So he's forgetting names.
00:14:49.820 He's forgetting who he used to work for.
00:14:52.140 He's also getting really basic facts completely wrong.
00:14:57.060 You remember in one of the recent debates that Joe Biden was arguing with Bernie Sanders about
00:15:02.340 gun control, and he made the claim that since 2007, guns have killed 150 million Americans.
00:15:09.880 That is half the country.
00:15:11.880 150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie voted to exempt the gun manufacturers
00:15:19.840 from liability.
00:15:20.860 More than all the wars, including Vietnam, from that point on.
00:15:25.840 You think that the media are trying to scare people with the Wuhan virus.
00:15:29.120 Because Joe Biden's saying guns are going to kill half of the country.
00:15:33.000 Of course, not true.
00:15:34.940 Didn't happen.
00:15:35.700 Completely ridiculous.
00:15:37.280 We wouldn't have a country anymore if half the people dropped dead over the course of
00:15:41.360 a decade and a half.
00:15:44.860 Some leftists are trying to blame this on Joe Biden's childhood stutter.
00:15:48.720 I kid you not.
00:15:49.740 Because they realize the only thing they have, the only arrow in their quiver is identity
00:15:54.820 victimhood politics.
00:15:56.020 And Joe Biden is many things, but he's not a victim, right?
00:16:00.960 Even according to their own identity politics, pyramid of victimhood, he's like the least
00:16:06.820 victimized person on earth.
00:16:09.100 He's a straight white man who's old, who's had political power for 50 years, right?
00:16:16.200 There's no way to paint this guy as a victim.
00:16:18.520 So what they're doing now is saying that if you make fun of Joe Biden, if you tell any jokes
00:16:23.820 about him, if you suggest, let's say you're not even making fun of him.
00:16:26.740 You're just saying, gosh, maybe this guy shouldn't be on the campaign trail since he can't remember
00:16:29.780 his own name.
00:16:31.000 If you say that, what you're really doing is making fun of him for his childhood stutter.
00:16:37.040 So they're saying it's all because of this childhood stutter.
00:16:40.280 It's not that he's, he's cognitively declining.
00:16:43.160 It's just a speech thing.
00:16:44.420 Uh, where was this childhood stutter for the past 40 years?
00:16:53.540 Remember, if this is a childhood stutter that just conveniently and suddenly reappeared,
00:16:57.960 uh, why is it reappearing?
00:16:59.800 It doesn't like, they're speaking as though we don't know who Joe Biden is.
00:17:03.720 They're speaking as though we've, we've never seen him before.
00:17:06.540 Joe Biden has been in the public eye for a very long time and he wasn't talking like this
00:17:10.880 five years ago or 10 years ago or 15 years ago.
00:17:13.580 He's talking about this now because he's obviously declining.
00:17:17.600 By the way, how does a childhood stutter cause you to get basic math wrong?
00:17:23.720 How does a childhood stutter cause you to forget your boss's name?
00:17:26.860 How does a childhood stutter cause you to forget your own name?
00:17:29.260 Doesn't, not at all.
00:17:30.060 By the way, I want to remind you, we are going to be taking listener questions during the show.
00:17:35.060 So that's only for Daily Wire subscribers.
00:17:37.080 If you're on the website or the app, write your questions in.
00:17:39.340 We'll take them.
00:17:39.840 We have one right now.
00:17:40.880 From LL, do we all need to pray to the thing for Biden's health?
00:17:48.060 It's a very indicative question.
00:17:50.500 That's a very illustrative question.
00:17:53.080 Of course we should.
00:17:54.480 We should always pray to the thing.
00:17:56.120 Hopefully we, we can remember the thing's name, but yes, you actually reminded me.
00:18:00.600 I would have completely forgotten that Joe Biden dropped the words of the Declaration of
00:18:05.400 Independence, the most famous words in all of American history.
00:18:07.600 We hold these truths to be self-evident.
00:18:08.860 He goes, we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men and women and you, you know the
00:18:15.420 thing.
00:18:15.780 So my favorite one of these, I think, is Joe Biden apparently calling for the reelection
00:18:34.000 of Donald Trump.
00:18:35.560 I don't know if you saw this over the weekend.
00:18:37.280 President Trump himself tweeted it out.
00:18:39.240 Here's Joe.
00:18:40.180 Primary from a campaign that's about negative attacks and the one about what we're for,
00:18:44.780 because we cannot get reelect.
00:18:47.240 We cannot win this reelection.
00:18:49.680 Excuse me.
00:18:50.220 We can only reelect Donald Trump.
00:18:52.880 I agree.
00:18:53.820 You're right.
00:18:54.340 We can only reelect Donald Trump.
00:18:55.860 It's the only thing to do.
00:18:56.900 And right now, all things being equal, it's the only thing we will do.
00:19:00.560 Was that a childhood stutter when you endorse your opponent?
00:19:03.880 Is that, that's because of a childhood stutter?
00:19:05.400 I don't think so.
00:19:06.180 I think it's because you're forgetting where you are.
00:19:09.360 You know, Joe is not going to be able to do this on his own.
00:19:12.720 This actually ties in to the question of, is the Wuhan virus a pandemic or a Dem panic?
00:19:17.340 The whole media apparatus is going to come and circle around Joe Biden.
00:19:25.180 When that video came out of Joe Biden saying, look, the only thing we can do is reelect Donald
00:19:30.460 Trump.
00:19:32.460 A few conservatives tweeted this around.
00:19:34.780 The president tweeted this around.
00:19:36.220 Twitter flagged it as manipulated media.
00:19:40.160 Twitter put this new policy into effect last Thursday.
00:19:44.060 Joe Biden defines manipulated posts as any photo, video, or audio that has been significantly
00:19:49.860 altered or fabricated.
00:19:52.420 And it said it could remove some of the video that causes serious harm.
00:19:55.860 It hasn't removed that yet.
00:19:58.500 How is that manipulated?
00:20:00.620 How is that video manipulated?
00:20:02.600 There's no, you know, fabricating what he said.
00:20:07.060 There's no fabricating how he looked or where he was.
00:20:09.600 It's a clip of a video.
00:20:11.180 So on the one hand, nobody thinks Joe Biden is really endorsing Donald Trump, right?
00:20:16.300 We're all just having a little bit of fun because Joe Biden doesn't know how to say his
00:20:19.740 own name anymore.
00:20:22.080 But two, the video itself is not manipulated, right?
00:20:28.040 Where's the manipulation?
00:20:29.320 I guess the manipulation would be that they, they cut it off because if you play the video
00:20:34.640 for another five minutes, he says, we, we could elect Donald Trump if we don't, you know,
00:20:38.660 if we, if we need to come together, we need to come together and then we won't elect Donald
00:20:42.000 Trump, something like that.
00:20:44.680 So now Twitter is saying that any video that has an end point that they don't like is manipulated
00:20:52.380 video.
00:20:55.440 Literally every video that has ever been made is manipulated in this way because videos don't
00:21:02.680 go on forever.
00:21:03.440 They're not infinite.
00:21:04.600 If any video has a beginning and an end point, it is by this definition manipulated.
00:21:11.440 So is Twitter going to start taking down all the left-wing videos?
00:21:16.340 I guess it would be every video, right?
00:21:17.420 Because every video begins and ends somewhere.
00:21:19.860 Something tells me they won't.
00:21:21.360 Something tells me they're going to use this completely vague new policy only to attack conservatives.
00:21:28.140 This is maybe the most egregious expansion of their censorship policy I've seen yet.
00:21:35.060 To say that if the left does this all the time, whenever we catch them on videotape being
00:21:39.140 complete degenerates, they, you know, whenever we catch Planned Parenthood saying that they
00:21:43.560 buy and sell body parts and they want to buy Lamborghinis, you know what they say?
00:21:47.520 They say, oh, it's a selectively edited video.
00:21:49.840 And then the right comes in and says, no, what do you mean it's selectively edited?
00:21:52.300 Here's the whole video.
00:21:53.300 We just click record and then it goes on to the end.
00:21:55.640 They said, no, it's selectively edited.
00:21:56.760 You didn't get before or after.
00:22:00.260 Yeah, I couldn't film forever.
00:22:03.480 I, you know, I can't film the whole time, but here it is on video.
00:22:06.800 They say selectively edited.
00:22:08.340 Now Twitter is taking that up as well.
00:22:12.660 This is why, I mean, this is why we can't know whether big issues raised in the media,
00:22:18.260 whether it's Wuhan virus or some political question, whether it's real or not, because
00:22:23.540 none of these people are honest brokers of information.
00:22:26.760 They all have an interest in and an ability to warp the news to push their own propaganda.
00:22:33.980 They are desperate.
00:22:35.100 Nowhere is this clearer than in the endorsements and lack of endorsements that are coming in
00:22:40.300 for Joe Biden from the Dem establishment.
00:22:42.760 It there's really, really pathetic.
00:22:44.300 We'll get to that in a second.
00:22:45.080 First, I got to thank our friends over at Raycon.
00:22:48.620 Oh man.
00:22:49.540 First of all, if you are still using earbuds, headphones that have wires, you are living
00:22:56.600 in another civilization.
00:22:58.500 We have, there is very little we have in common.
00:23:00.120 I don't even know how to relate to your life experience.
00:23:04.240 It is 2020.
00:23:05.640 You need to get a pair of wireless earbuds.
00:23:08.040 And unlike some of your other wireless options, Raycon earbuds are both stylish and discreet.
00:23:14.120 No dangling wires or stems.
00:23:16.300 As Drew says, they don't make you look like a bug.
00:23:18.340 Raycon just released their best model yet.
00:23:20.080 The E25s.
00:23:21.780 They're really cool.
00:23:22.420 Six hours of playtime, seamless Bluetooth pairing, more bass, and a more compact design
00:23:27.200 that gives you a nice noise isolating fit.
00:23:29.680 No wireless earbuds look better than Raycon's.
00:23:31.940 The sound quality is superb.
00:23:33.860 And best of all, they don't gouge you on the price.
00:23:36.220 They're a very fair price.
00:23:37.340 Get 15% off your order at buyraycon.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S.
00:23:43.420 That's buyraycon.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S, for 15% off Raycon wireless earbuds.
00:23:50.500 Buyraycon.com slash Knowles.
00:23:52.540 So, the way that you know that the Democrat establishment is settling for Joe Biden, the
00:24:03.440 way you know that they don't feel that good about it, is the lack of energy in their endorsements.
00:24:11.680 So, they tried to avoid it, right?
00:24:13.540 They tried to avoid endorsing Joe Biden.
00:24:15.400 They tried to pick anybody else.
00:24:17.120 Is it going to be Pete?
00:24:18.060 Is it going to be Elizabeth Warren?
00:24:19.640 Is it going to be, no, they all flopped.
00:24:23.020 Now, it seems inevitable, and they're still dragging their feet.
00:24:26.540 Finally, yesterday, Kamala Harris, who we also forgot ran for president at one point,
00:24:32.280 she endorsed Joe Biden in the lamest, most reluctant way I think I've ever heard.
00:24:38.220 So, I just wanted you guys to know, because you've been supporting me for so long, and
00:24:42.400 I just wanted you guys to know, I have decided that I am, with great enthusiasm, going to
00:24:48.900 endorse Joe Biden for president of the United States.
00:24:52.120 I believe in Joe.
00:24:53.520 I really believe in him, and I have known him for a long time.
00:24:56.880 One of the things that we need right now is we need a leader who really does care about
00:25:02.240 the people, and who can therefore unify the people.
00:25:05.760 And I believe Joe can do that.
00:25:07.160 I am supporting Joe because I believe that he is a man who has lived his life with great
00:25:13.160 dignity.
00:25:14.400 He is a public servant who has always worked for the best of who we are as a nation, and
00:25:20.860 we need that right now.
00:25:21.920 There is so much at stake in this election, guys.
00:25:24.360 So, join me in supporting Joe, and let's get this done.
00:25:28.040 Ah, let's support Joe.
00:25:33.980 Let's just join me.
00:25:36.360 We're going to support Joe.
00:25:39.220 She looks like she's in a hostage video.
00:25:41.840 She's up against this white brick wall, very stark lighting, cameras making weird sounds.
00:25:49.100 The lighting is awful.
00:25:50.440 I mean, the shadows are really bad.
00:25:52.360 And she's there.
00:25:53.200 Like, who's she trying to convince?
00:25:54.880 Yeah, I really like Joe.
00:25:56.680 No, I think he's really great.
00:25:59.580 He's good, and he'll be good.
00:26:02.500 And so, let's endorse him.
00:26:08.280 Kamala Harris, if you will recall, all the way back to those early Democratic 2020 debates,
00:26:15.580 started her campaign by saying that she wasn't accusing Joe Biden of racism, and then immediately
00:26:23.980 accusing Joe Biden of racism.
00:26:25.900 In this campaign, we've also heard, and I'm going to now direct this at Vice President Biden,
00:26:32.340 I do not believe you are a racist.
00:26:35.600 And I agree with you when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground.
00:26:41.960 But I also believe, and it's personal, and I was actually very, it was hurtful, to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country.
00:27:00.680 And it was not only that, but you also worked with them to oppose busing.
00:27:06.940 And, you know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day.
00:27:18.460 And that little girl was me.
00:27:20.760 Oh, Kamala, what a tangled web we weave when we hurl accusations of bigotry to deceive.
00:27:28.000 So what she's talking about there is that Joe Biden had bragged about his ability to work with people he disagreed with.
00:27:36.060 Specifically, he was talking about two Southern segregationist Democrats, Mississippi Senator James Eastland and Georgia Senator Herman Talmadge.
00:27:44.840 And he said, look, we disagreed, but I was able to work with them on specific legislation and get things done.
00:27:49.920 And then Kamala twisted this and said, Joe works with segregationists.
00:27:53.660 Joe is a racist.
00:27:55.340 Joe's a terrible guy.
00:27:56.280 She twisted it.
00:27:57.460 What he was saying, which was actually the opposite, for a cheap political point.
00:28:01.620 There is a political lesson in here, which is don't call people bigots unless you mean it.
00:28:07.180 One, because it's wrong.
00:28:08.540 It's really wrong to do that.
00:28:10.260 I mean, in America today, just in the pop culture, the worst thing you can possibly be called is a racist.
00:28:14.840 And she just does it willy-nilly.
00:28:16.860 I'm not calling you a racist, Joe, but you're definitely a big racist.
00:28:20.160 I mean, the left does this all the time.
00:28:22.000 It's not just Kamala Harris's problem.
00:28:23.720 So that's the one reason.
00:28:24.640 The moral reason not to do it is it's wrong.
00:28:27.280 The personal reason not to do it is you look very foolish.
00:28:31.380 If you use the cheapest political trick you've got, call the other guy a racist,
00:28:36.100 and then the race doesn't turn out your way and you end up having to endorse the racist.
00:28:39.800 Because that's what she did.
00:28:41.420 It's, I think, part of the reason why she looked so reluctant in that endorsement video.
00:28:46.220 She says, oh, gosh, now I look like a fool.
00:28:49.720 What was I thinking?
00:28:51.480 Now, Kamala Harris at least dragged herself and was able to go and endorse him.
00:28:57.100 There's one very prominent member of the Democratic Party who just hasn't been able to do it yet.
00:29:02.380 And this probably is the biggest threat we've seen so far to Joe Biden getting that Democratic nomination.
00:29:08.600 We will get to that in a second.
00:29:10.280 We will get to Bernie's big problem.
00:29:12.780 And we will get to Brian Williams of MSNBC and Mara Gay of the New York Times failing at basic arithmetic.
00:29:19.700 But first, I've got to say goodbye to Facebook and YouTube.

00:30:05.680 We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:30:19.420 All right.
00:30:20.540 A listener question from J.H.
00:30:22.540 Hey, Michael, how can the left even stand on its stance of abortion and at the same time scream that we can't have milk products?
00:30:30.400 The reason that the left is advocating for the environment or animal rights or the milk thing, that's the new leftist political cause du jour, is that we can't drink milk anymore.
00:30:46.760 It's not because it will help anybody.
00:30:49.880 It won't help the earth.
00:30:51.020 It won't help the cows.
00:30:52.140 It won't help anybody.
00:30:53.900 It's so that it will hurt you.
00:30:55.780 That's what you have to understand.
00:30:58.400 People are always confused.
00:30:59.720 How can a vegan be in favor of abortion?
00:31:02.840 Right.
00:31:03.180 It doesn't make sense if you think of this as a way to save a human baby or, less important, save a little cow or save a little pig or something.
00:31:13.400 That doesn't make any sense if you look at it from the perspective of preserving life.
00:31:19.220 But if you look at it from the perspective of hurting yourself, doing penance, atoning for your sins, then it makes a whole lot of sense.
00:31:29.680 Normal people have religion.
00:31:31.560 We have regular religion.
00:31:32.800 We're aware that we are broken, that we have a fallen nature, that we sin often, and we have fallen short of the glory of God.
00:31:39.660 And we need to make some sort of atonement for that.
00:31:42.300 We need to have a little bit of penance.
00:31:45.160 We need to confess our sins.
00:31:46.440 We have to acknowledge them.
00:31:47.940 You know, when you go to mass, when you go to not just Catholic, but other services too, you say, I've sinned through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.
00:31:58.520 And you strike your breast.
00:32:00.280 Right.
00:32:00.440 You're just a little reminder that you've done something wrong and you're taking some penance for that.
00:32:05.500 The left doesn't have regular religion.
00:32:08.320 But they still have all the religious longings of people.
00:32:10.540 They still know that they've fallen short of the glory of God.
00:32:13.520 They still know that they're imperfect.
00:32:14.860 So they have to do penance.
00:32:16.200 So for them, in this case, it would be animal rights.
00:32:19.400 You could call it global warming, whatever.
00:32:21.440 They institute policies that won't help anything, but it will hurt them.
00:32:25.280 So the milk problem, right?
00:32:27.260 If they just abstained from eating meat, if they just did that alone, that would obviously do a lot more to help the animals than not drinking milk.
00:32:40.520 Actually, cows hurt when you don't milk them.
00:32:43.040 But not drinking milk, not eating cheese, not having yogurt, not eating ice cream, right?
00:32:47.360 That's a deeper punishment than just abstaining from certain meat products.
00:32:52.660 It's the same thing with the plastic straws.
00:32:55.000 The plastic straw does not do anything, right?
00:32:58.100 It is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a scintilla of an iota of a fraction of plastic pollution.
00:33:05.860 It doesn't matter at all.
00:33:07.500 But we feel it when we go to the coffee shop and they won't give us our straw and they give us that stupid paper thing that dissolves and then we start chewing on paper.
00:33:15.580 We feel that and we feel sorrow for our own sin of pollution.
00:33:21.500 That's what it's all about.
00:33:22.360 It's just about hurting them.
00:33:23.360 If they got regular religion, they wouldn't have to do all this weird stuff.
00:33:27.020 Getting back to 2020.
00:33:28.560 So Kamala Harris endorses Joe Biden reluctantly.
00:33:31.800 Cory Booker endorses Joe Biden on Twitter.
00:33:34.580 One Democrat doesn't want to endorse Joe Biden.
00:33:36.920 That would be our future, our former future president, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was on Fareed Zakaria's show.
00:33:46.800 She was asked about Bernie Sanders.
00:33:48.760 She attacked Bernie Sanders.
00:33:49.920 She said Bernie wouldn't be the right choice for the party.
00:33:51.900 Logical next question.
00:33:53.360 Does that mean you're endorsing Bernie?
00:33:55.200 Does that mean you're endorsing Biden, rather?
00:33:57.460 She will not agree to it.
00:33:59.580 Is the Democratic nominee.
00:34:01.840 Will you campaign for him?
00:34:03.320 I will support the nominee of the Democratic Party.
00:34:05.760 But will you campaign for him?
00:34:07.220 I don't know if he would ask me to campaign for him, Fareed, because I have no idea what he is thinking about for a general election campaign.
00:34:16.240 As I've said many times, I do not think he's our strongest nominee against Donald Trump.
00:34:22.760 Is that an endorsement of Joe Biden?
00:34:25.380 I'm not endorsing.
00:34:27.440 There's nobody left.
00:34:28.380 Well, I guess that's true.
00:34:29.460 There isn't anybody left.
00:34:31.000 That's right.
00:34:31.700 I'm not endorsing.
00:34:33.060 Uh-uh.
00:34:33.340 What this screams to me is that Democrats, most of all Hillary, are still holding out hope that there will be a different nominee.
00:34:43.880 And probably in Hillary's mind, that nominee would most likely be Hillary.
00:34:49.180 I'm not saying that that's going to happen.
00:34:51.820 I'm not saying that they think that's going to happen.
00:34:54.340 I'm saying they're holding out hope.
00:34:57.480 If Hillary Clinton did not think somewhere in the way, way back of her absolutely sociopathic, limitless ambition mind,
00:35:08.560 if she didn't think there was some chance that she could get this nomination through some crazy series of events,
00:35:14.320 she would just endorse Joe Biden.
00:35:16.740 There are two candidates left.
00:35:18.900 It's Joe Biden.
00:35:20.360 It's Bernie Sanders.
00:35:21.800 She said Bernie Sanders would be the wrong choice, so she should endorse Joe Biden.
00:35:26.920 Right?
00:35:27.360 This is different than Obama not endorsing Biden.
00:35:30.120 For Obama, he doesn't want to irritate the Bernie bros.
00:35:33.840 He doesn't want to be on the losing side.
00:35:35.580 He doesn't want to be on the wrong side of history.
00:35:37.340 He's totally concerned about his legacy and who will be the heir to his legacy.
00:35:41.880 That's why he's refraining from commenting at all about this election.
00:35:46.740 Hillary's already out there.
00:35:48.200 Hillary's already said Bernie would not be the best choice.
00:35:50.720 Bernie would be weak.
00:35:51.780 Nobody likes Bernie.
00:35:52.880 That's what she said the other day.
00:35:54.120 She ran a campaign against Bernie.
00:35:55.740 All right?
00:35:56.520 Her antipathy to Bernie and the Bernie bros is clear as day.
00:36:00.700 So there's no reason not to endorse Joe Biden, except that maybe she's hoping someone else will walk into that contested convention and walk out with the nomination.
00:36:10.240 And, oh, gosh, wouldn't that be just wonderful?
00:36:13.900 Because there's increasing evidence, by the way, that Bernie Sanders is not even going to put up the sort of fight that we expected him to.
00:36:20.040 Two weeks ago, we thought Bernie Sanders was going to run away with this nomination.
00:36:23.060 Remember, he was in the lead, in the delegate lead.
00:36:25.100 He was winning all the early states.
00:36:27.220 And then he hit that Joe Biden firewall in South Carolina.
00:36:30.920 And then he hit Super Tuesday and he started to drop.
00:36:33.520 Why did he drop?
00:36:34.300 The main story we've been told is because he can't get minority voters.
00:36:38.200 That's true.
00:36:39.960 The other problem is that his base doesn't show up to the polls.
00:36:44.300 His base, turns out, a bunch of, like, unemployed college kids who smoke pot all day, turns out not the most reliable voters.
00:36:50.780 I know.
00:36:51.160 Shocking.
00:36:51.940 So Bernie Sanders has been relying on the youth vote coming out and supporting him in droves.
00:36:58.300 Trouble is they're staying home.
00:37:00.120 So in California, right?
00:37:01.320 In California, Bernie Sanders wins it.
00:37:05.980 Young voters helped him.
00:37:07.520 But voters under the age of 30 made up just 11% of the electorate, according to exit polls.
00:37:15.340 Then another 35% were between 45 and 64, and 30% were 65 and older.
00:37:20.340 So Bernie even had to acknowledge that his young voter strategy is failing.
00:37:24.220 He said, quote,
00:37:25.000 Have we been as successful as I would hope in bringing young people in?
00:37:28.820 The answer is no.
00:37:29.840 North Carolina, another state that Sanders could have won.
00:37:33.760 Joe Biden ended up winning it on Super Tuesday.
00:37:36.100 But Bernie was pretty competitive there.
00:37:38.820 He did not get the young voters to turn out.
00:37:41.960 Young voter turnout was 9%.
00:37:44.180 Very, very weak.
00:37:46.660 So if Bernie's going to turn this campaign around, he's got to expand his base.
00:37:51.720 He's probably not going to be able to do that, which means that Joe Biden, who has now proven the electability argument is still sound, is going to expand his base.
00:38:00.260 He's probably going to do a very good job.
00:38:02.040 The question then becomes, can Joe Biden get across the finish line, win this thing outright, or is there going to be wheeling and dealing at the convention?
00:38:11.900 If there is wheeling and dealing, that's a whole new ballgame.
00:38:15.240 Because while Joe Biden might be winning the votes in this very weak primary field, and this was a very weak primary field, a lot of Democratic Party elites don't believe that he's the guy to go up against Donald Trump in 2020.
00:38:29.740 He can't remember his own name.
00:38:32.440 They're not going to tell you that.
00:38:33.480 They're not going to tell you that on the news.
00:38:34.600 They're going to lie to you on the news.
00:38:35.560 But in their private studies, that's what they're thinking.
00:38:39.000 And so there is a chance, however small, that another candidate emerges.
00:38:42.540 And boy, would that be hilarious.
00:38:44.680 Now, I've been a little harsh on the mainstream media today.
00:38:49.200 I'm a little harsh on the mainstream media every single day.
00:38:53.060 I've said the reason that you can't really believe them is because they're so hyper-partisan.
00:38:59.260 Because they're such liars.
00:39:00.760 Because they carry water for Democratic candidates.
00:39:04.200 That's true.
00:39:06.020 That's part of the reason why you can't believe them.
00:39:08.160 When it comes to something even like maybe their hysteria over the coronavirus.
00:39:12.760 The other reason you can't believe them is because they're not very smart.
00:39:17.480 Now, we think that if you go into the media, you probably went to a fancy school.
00:39:21.920 You've probably read a lot of books.
00:39:23.120 You have a fancy suit with a nice necktie on.
00:39:26.060 So therefore, you must be very intelligent.
00:39:29.500 No.
00:39:30.600 No, you don't have to be.
00:39:31.880 Brian Williams of MSNBC and a New York Times editorial board member, Mara Gay, put this
00:39:40.120 myth, this canard of media intelligence to rest the other day when they described how Mike
00:39:47.200 Bloomberg, who spent $500 million at least on his primary campaign, could have given at
00:39:55.560 least $1 million to every one of the 300 million Americans with that money.
00:40:01.260 Here they are trying to work it out in their minds.
00:40:03.800 You see it as a possibility if he wants to spend a billion bucks beating this guy, he could do it.
00:40:09.920 Absolutely.
00:40:10.320 Somebody tweeted recently that actually with the money he spent, he could have given every
00:40:15.460 American a million dollars.
00:40:17.160 I've got it.
00:40:17.460 Let's put it up on the screen.
00:40:19.060 When I read it tonight on social media, it kind of all became clear.
00:40:24.640 Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads, U.S. population $327 million.
00:40:29.460 Don't tell us if you're ahead of us on the math.
00:40:31.460 He could have given each American $1 million and have had lunch money left over.
00:40:37.280 It's an incredible way of putting it.
00:40:39.740 It's an incredible way of putting it.
00:40:41.820 It's true.
00:40:42.460 It's disturbing.
00:40:43.560 It does suggest what we're talking about here, which is there's too much money in politics.
00:40:49.260 Oh, no.
00:40:51.760 I don't know if a producer, somebody wrote the segment and then Brian Williams and
00:40:56.400 Maura Gay just derailed it because they couldn't understand it.
00:40:59.680 But the pitch is so easy, right?
00:41:02.880 Which is, here's this tweet, kind of a funny tweet.
00:41:05.060 It says that Mike Bloomberg spent $500 million on his campaign and so there are over 300 million
00:41:11.520 Americans.
00:41:12.380 So he could have given each American, correct answer is like a little over a dollar, right?
00:41:18.840 $1.50, something like that.
00:41:21.540 He goes, it could have given each and every American a million dollars.
00:41:25.980 And so Brian Williams says, now, hold on a second if you're ahead of us on the math here.
00:41:34.580 First of all, we're all ahead of you on the math now, Brian Williams.
00:41:37.080 We now know that.
00:41:37.940 But it seemed as though he's going to say you're ahead of us on the math.
00:41:40.700 Obviously, this tweet doesn't make any sense.
00:41:42.640 These guys got their orders of magnitude a little bit off.
00:41:45.820 And anyway, what a silly tweet.
00:41:47.120 Instead, Brian Williams, total straight face, he goes, what an amazing number.
00:41:53.060 And now at this point, you would hope that Ron Burgundy over here would be corrected by
00:41:59.260 his far more intelligent on-air colleague, this woman from the New York Times, right?
00:42:04.020 Except no, because she can't do the math either.
00:42:06.660 So she goes, yes, it's amazing because it's true.
00:42:11.900 No, what is amazing is that you people can't do basic math.
00:42:19.300 You are at elite media institutions, MSNBC.
00:42:22.260 Brian Williams is the former anchor of NBC News.
00:42:25.840 Mara Gay, New York Times editorial board, the gray lady, all the news that's fit to print.
00:42:30.660 And then I love it.
00:42:32.000 It just hits you with that second punchline at the end.
00:42:34.480 She says, and it just goes to show you that there's too much money in politics.
00:42:39.040 No, it shows that there's too much authority placed in the mainstream media.
00:42:44.300 It shows you that we give these guys way too much credibility.
00:42:48.800 It doesn't show you that there's too much money in politics.
00:42:52.100 Please, for the last time, New York Times, I know you're watching this.
00:42:56.740 The Mike Bloomberg campaign shows you definitively that there is not too much money in politics.
00:43:03.080 If money in politics were a really, really big problem,
00:43:06.300 then Mike Bloomberg would have been able to buy the presidency.
00:43:10.440 But he didn't.
00:43:12.420 Was not able to do that.
00:43:14.880 Completely wrong conclusion from completely wrong math from very subpar journalists.
00:43:24.360 They don't know how to do basic math.
00:43:26.280 I think there's a problem on the left generally.
00:43:28.000 The left doesn't know the difference between a million and a billion and a trillion.
00:43:33.720 They don't know.
00:43:34.400 They don't understand what zeros do to numbers.
00:43:37.280 I'm not even really being facetious here.
00:43:39.320 I'm not exaggerating too much.
00:43:42.340 When Bernie Sanders comes out with a plan for healthcare or for education or whatever,
00:43:48.280 he'll say, plans $100 trillion.
00:43:50.600 AOC, right?
00:43:51.300 AOC comes up with a plan that was almost $100 trillion called the Green New Deal.
00:43:55.580 $93 trillion plan.
00:43:56.780 At no point does she ask herself, where am I going to get that money?
00:44:02.000 Because in her mind, $93 trillion, $93 billion, $93 million, $93 bucks.
00:44:07.200 Yeah, look, it's all the same.
00:44:08.100 It's got $93 in it.
00:44:10.500 It's all the same.
00:44:11.760 Her plan for how to pay for it would be exactly the same if it were a trillion or if it were a million.
00:44:17.160 Even though those numbers are vastly, vastly different.
00:44:19.860 It's the same here.
00:44:21.040 Mike Bloomberg, what they're seeing is Mike Bloomberg spent a lot of money.
00:44:24.840 And there are a lot of people.
00:44:28.500 So Mike Bloomberg could give a lot of money to a lot of people.
00:44:34.360 We started off the show asking, is this a pandemic or a dem panic?
00:44:39.660 Should we believe the media hype here?
00:44:41.460 However, I think most of the media hype is malicious.
00:44:45.520 I think most of the media hype, not just on the coronavirus, but on everything in our politics,
00:44:51.460 is from a place of deep bias and a desire to screw this up for Donald Trump.
00:45:00.200 However, we should never ascribe to malice that which can be equally explained by stupidity.
00:45:07.680 And the mainstream media are showing that every single day.
00:45:10.060 Either way, the conclusion remains the same.
00:45:13.500 Keep calm.
00:45:15.440 Listen to honest brokers.
00:45:17.900 Read people who you think have a good grasp on things.
00:45:21.280 And this is the part the media definitely don't want you to do.
00:45:25.120 Think for yourself.
00:45:26.400 That's our show.
00:45:27.180 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:45:27.820 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:46:27.860 You know, The Matt Walsh Show, it's not just another show about politics.
00:46:32.040 I think there are enough of those already out there.
00:46:33.960 We talk about culture because culture drives politics and it drives everything else.
00:46:38.720 So my main focuses are life, family, faith.
00:46:43.340 Those are fundamental.
00:46:44.640 And that's what this show is about.
00:46:46.060 I hope you'll give it a listen.
00:46:47.380 you're welcome.
00:46:49.480 Let's go.
00:46:52.540 Let's go.
