00:00:00.000 Good news, everybody. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi solved racism. It took a long time,
00:00:06.180 but they managed to do it. They did it specifically by ridiculously wearing
00:00:10.720 Kente African scarves and then making really, really serious faces and then kneeling down.
00:00:18.400 Here is Nancy Pelosi announcing the brilliant plan.
00:00:21.780 For those who wish to, we will now kneel for our moment of silence.
00:00:30.000 Now, in fairness, in Nancy Pelosi's defense, Nancy Pelosi being quiet for several consecutive
00:00:40.320 minutes is the most effective thing she's ever done to improve race relations in America.
00:00:45.760 So that is some good news. Same goes for Chuck Schumer. Everybody is kneeling these days.
00:00:50.540 Everybody, even the people who didn't used to kneel, everybody is kneeling against America,
00:00:55.660 against the nation. That's a big change. And if we want to conserve our country,
00:01:00.240 we've got to quit talking and we've got to be just like Nancy Pelosi.
00:01:05.300 And we've got to take some bold action ourselves. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:17.700 Lots of kneeling and the kneeling is very, very bad. We've got a lot to get to right off the top.
00:01:23.040 But first, I've got to thank our friends over at Eero. Eero is Wi-Fi that your home deserves.
00:01:29.220 It blankets your whole home with fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Not just inside, but outside too.

00:01:43.420 it is incredibly easy to install. I am a Luddite, okay? I don't understand technology at all.
00:01:49.540 Eero makes it so simple to set up and it fixes those problems of spotty Wi-Fi or your Wi-Fi doesn't
00:01:55.220 work over here. It's really, really tremendous stuff. Apple HomeKit users, Eero's got you covered
00:01:59.680 with enhanced privacy and safety controls that give connected devices only the permissions
00:02:04.160 they need to do what you want in your home and on the internet. You can get yours fixed as soon as

00:02:29.080 Eero.com slash Knowles, code Knowles. Can't get enough Knowles.
00:02:36.820 You know, I think of all the fictional characters of the last few weeks, I think my favorite are the
00:02:42.280 peaceful protesters because while Batman might be a cooler figure, the peaceful protesters are just
00:02:48.040 so much more fantastical. They've made a new appearance. This, this in the BBC, an actual BBC
00:02:54.600 headline, George Floyd, London anti-racism protests leave 27 officers hurt. Okay. That's sort of a more
00:03:03.360 believable title. Here's how they tweeted out the headline. 27 police officers injured during largely
00:03:10.060 peaceful anti-racism protests in London. That is not possible. That is, that tweet is a nonsense
00:03:18.260 because 27 cops can't be injured in largely peaceful protests. You can't have those things
00:03:24.200 at the same time. From the article, protests on Saturday sparked by the death of George Floyd.
00:03:29.540 Is that true? We'll get to that in a second. We're largely peaceful, but we're marred later by
00:03:34.720 disturbances outside of Downing Street. You know, they were largely peaceful, the protests themselves,
00:03:38.820 but they were marred. That's unfortunate because they were so peaceful, but they were marred later
00:03:43.400 by disturbances. Not violence, not the people committing the violence. One demonstrator who
00:03:50.260 was not at Downing Street saw officers acting very aggressively elsewhere. It was the officers acting
00:03:56.260 aggressively, you see, and they shouldn't do that. That's not what officers are for. They're not there
00:04:00.380 to use force. They're there to enforce the law. Wait a second, force and force. Let's not,
00:04:06.220 let's ignore it. Let's ignore that the entire purpose of the police is to use force for just
00:04:10.160 one second. The majority of Saturday's protests were peaceful, but in the evening there were
00:04:15.540 disturbances outside Downing Street, BBC. Home Affairs correspondent Tom Simmons said the protests
00:04:20.580 were largely over when missiles and fireworks were thrown at a police line. They were thrown,
00:04:27.580 not by the protesters, just, they just were thrown. Two officers were seriously injured,
00:04:33.660 including a mounted branch officer who was knocked from her horse when it hit a set of traffic lights
00:04:38.820 while appearing to bolt. She suffered a broken collarbone, a broken rib, a punctured lung,
00:04:43.780 according to the Metropolitan Police Federation. That's not nothing, okay? Those are real injuries.
00:04:50.300 Those are serious injuries. Those were caused by the allegedly non-violent protests. Now,
00:04:57.900 you can actually see, there are a number of videos that came out. The protests got so violent that the
00:05:03.540 police eventually ran away from the so-called peaceful protesters.
00:05:11.060 You can see there's some sort of chaos there.
00:05:16.140 People are throwing things at the cops. Cops in America, not quite as well-armed as,
00:05:20.700 or cops in Britain, rather, not quite as well-armed as those in America.
00:05:23.820 Eventually, the police are running away as these goons, these thugs, these criminals
00:05:29.660 are throwing objects at them. A lot of problems with policing in the UK. Obviously,
00:05:36.700 they are not armed to do the job that they're supposed to do. But the question here is,
00:05:39.920 why are there protests going on in the United Kingdom over the death of George Floyd? Is it
00:05:45.040 because people in the UK, Brits, just really have a connection to this man in Minneapolis,
00:05:50.580 and half a world away in the United States? I don't think so. I think there's a deeper ideological
00:05:57.500 political rebellion going on here, which we will get to in a moment. The symbol of this protest
00:06:04.120 all around the world, but especially in America, is kneeling down. It's the symbol that Colin Kaepernick
00:06:10.860 has been using for years at this point. Kneeling down specifically against the flag. And you remember,
00:06:18.720 when Colin Kaepernick did it, people didn't like it very much. The NFL didn't support it. There were
00:06:23.720 certain players in the NFL who were doing it, but it had a really negative reaction. Now that's all
00:06:28.580 over. Now, even the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, is saying, goodness gracious, I wish that we had
00:06:34.400 endorsed the kneeling protest. It was a wonderful protest. I support it now. I kneel with you.
00:06:41.100 We, the National Football League, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of black people.
00:06:47.360 Hold on, stop right there. That is so brave. Wow. Roger Goodell condemns racism and the systematic
00:06:55.820 oppression of black people. Wow. God, you know, because there are all these people out there who
00:07:00.000 support racism. They're totally pro-racism. They're pro-oppression, but not Roger Goodell
00:07:05.320 standing up such bravery, such political vision. Of course, nobody supports those things. No, but not,
00:07:13.740 not one person, not one person will you see. Get on camera with any influence whatsoever and say,
00:07:19.320 yes, I'm pro-racism. Goodell is standing up against a boogeyman. He's standing up against
00:07:26.740 an imaginary adversary because nobody is for racism. Actually, the racism that exists,
00:07:35.100 the only racism that exists in this country, is the little bit of sin lurking in everybody's heart,
00:07:40.480 right? But no one looks inside at themselves, at their own problems. They always look out at the
00:07:44.840 imaginary boogeyman, evil monster. So then Goodell moves on, gets to his point to support the protests.
00:07:50.480 We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier
00:07:55.360 and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the National Football League, believe
00:08:03.560 black lives matter. I personally protest with you and want to be part of the much-needed change
00:08:11.860 in this country. So pathetic. So totally pathetic. He is completely wrong. Look, he's right in some of
00:08:20.140 the words he's saying, right? Nobody believes black lives don't matter. Nobody believes that.
00:08:25.660 Everybody thinks black lives matter. And everyone is pretending that there are a lot of people out
00:08:30.260 there who think that black lives don't matter, but those people don't exist. The Black Lives Matter
00:08:34.540 movement is not based on black lives mattering. There is no systemic slaughter of racist cops killing
00:08:41.280 unarmed black men in America. It simply does not exist. We went through the statistics on this show
00:08:46.460 yesterday. We went through them last week as well. Black Lives Matter does a great job at pretending
00:08:52.720 that it's a very moderate, simple group that just thinks black lives matter. That's not it. It is a
00:08:57.200 radical group advocating total revolution in society, including the destruction of, quote,
00:09:02.780 the Western prescribed nuclear family. That's how radical it is. It follows a long line of radical
00:09:08.400 movements that go back all the way to Karl Marx. This kind of argument
00:09:13.900 that Goodell is making is actually an argument that conservatives need to consider because it is
00:09:20.860 an argument against the kind of extreme libertarian conservative who takes our respect for free
00:09:27.980 markets to an idolatrous level, okay? Because the market is in many ways dictating Goodell's decision
00:09:33.880 here, right? He thinks that the culture has shifted in such a way, there's an appetite among consumers in
00:09:37.800 such a way that he's got a completely reverse course and now protest the very flag of his own country.
00:09:43.900 A symbol of the country itself. That's the market deciding that, but the market here is wrong. It
00:09:49.700 is wrong to do that. It's disrespectful. It's wrong to lie. It's wrong to accept premises that are
00:09:56.340 dishonest. It's wrong simply to disrespect one's flag, especially when that flag represents the most just,
00:10:04.360 free, prosperous, equitable country in the history of the world. Until just a few moments ago,
00:10:11.480 even the most radically left people in this country with any influence were anti-flag protest, including
00:10:18.300 the great heralded Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We'll get to that in one second. Then we'll get to a proper
00:10:23.800 response to all this. First though, I have got to thank our friends over at We The People Holster.
00:10:29.700 You know I love We The People Holster. It's very important to exercise your Second Amendment rights.

00:10:59.200 proprietary clip design allows for you to easily adjust both the can and ride of your holster so that

00:11:41.340 WeThePeopleHolsters.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S. So now everybody's supporting these
00:11:49.180 anti-flag protests. Until just a few moments ago, even the left in this country, even the most famous
00:11:56.720 left-wing jurist in this country was against it. Here's a clip from, I think it's just three or four
00:12:00.820 years ago now. Katie Couric was interviewing Ruth Bader Ginsburg on this topic. And she said,
00:12:05.840 what do you think of the Colin Kaepernick protests? RBG was unequivocal. She said,
00:12:09.760 they're stupid, they're disrespectful, I don't like them.
00:12:12.780 Justice Ginsburg, how do you feel about San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick
00:12:18.340 and other NFL players who have basically refused to stand for the national anthem?
00:12:26.500 What do I think? I think it's really dumb of them. Would I arrest them for doing it? No. I think
00:12:34.120 it's dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I said,
00:12:43.720 I think it's a terrible thing to do. But I wouldn't lock a person up for doing it. I would point out
00:12:52.220 how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act. Dumb and disrespectful. That's Ruth Bader
00:13:00.920 Ginsburg. You know, she sounds like Antonin Scalia on this issue. Antonin Scalia used to say the same
00:13:06.360 thing. I think his line on it was, if I could throw in jail every scruffy bearded weirdo who burns the
00:13:13.100 American flag, I would if I were king, but I am not king. And that's basically RBG's answer. Because no
00:13:20.380 matter how far left leftists used to be in America, it was very rare, very uncommon for them to attack
00:13:27.560 the country itself. And that's what the flag protest is. That's what the kneeling protest is.
00:13:32.480 It's not kneeling about police brutality. It's kneeling about in protesting the star-spangled banner,
00:13:39.380 which is the flag, which is the symbol of the country. Okay. But the left has moved radically left.
00:13:47.140 And these latest movements of the last few weeks have accelerated that process. There was a state
00:13:54.320 trooper out there. I actually, I wasn't able to get his name, but there's a state trooper out there
00:13:58.060 who was filmed on video talking to some of these protesters, hopefully the peaceful protesters.
00:14:03.560 And he was asked about kneeling. Now this is a black trooper. And he said, look, I'm here to protect
00:14:08.480 your right to do all this, but I don't kneel for these kinds of political protests. I only kneel to
00:14:14.660 God. I wouldn't have took, I'm supposed to be out of town this weekend with my wife. I took off today,
00:14:21.120 this weekend, but I'm out here to make sure y'all say, don't go there with respect. Okay. I have much
00:14:26.380 respect, but I only kneel for one person. And that's God. God, God. I only kneel for one person
00:14:32.640 and that's God. I like it. I like this guy's attitude. I like how he talks. I like what he's saying.
00:14:37.240 Again, you might go a little bit broader than that. Okay. Because some, you know, I think people
00:14:41.400 kneel for other reasons than God, at least sometimes. Like for instance, if I were in the
00:14:45.920 United Kingdom and I were about to be made a knight, you know, I was going to be Sir Michael
00:14:49.840 someday, a boy can dream. I would kneel down and, you know, I'd get the sword on me. You can kneel for
00:14:54.840 that. You can kneel if you're Catholic or Eastern Orthodox or Anglican, you can kneel in other sorts of
00:15:00.740 prayer, you know, in contemplative prayer. People kneel when they're meditating, for instance. Okay, fine.
00:15:06.240 But you could say more broadly, kneeling is a sign of respect, right? And this is what's so weird
00:15:14.620 about the kneeling protests, other than people protesting their own country, is that kneeling
00:15:19.400 has become a sign of disrespect. The left does this to everything. They invert everything and
00:15:26.440 they've done it even with the kneeling. So now the kneeling is a sign of disrespect. Where does this
00:15:31.340 come from? I mean, where do you get this kind of situation where people are actively protesting their
00:15:36.660 own country? It has been building up on the left for a long time. And our most recent actual left-wing
00:15:41.460 president brought this out in people. His wife, Michelle Obama, was just giving a graduation speech
00:15:47.940 on Zoom for all of America. And she explained this kind of left-wing activism, this kind of left-wing
00:15:54.280 character, which is to stay angry. She did. She said, be angry. Don't let anyone ever tell you
00:16:01.120 not to be angry. She begins by more or less disrespecting and denying the reality of the
00:16:08.340 American dream. But here's the thing. While this period is certainly unprecedented,
00:16:13.840 it is not a complete anomaly, simply some random coincidence to be dismissed. No, what's happening
00:16:23.380 right now is the direct result of decades of unaddressed prejudice and inequality. The truth
00:16:31.480 is, when it comes to all those tidy stories of hard work and self-determination that we like
00:16:37.240 to tell ourselves about America, well, the reality is a lot more complicated than that.
00:16:43.900 Because for too many people in this country, no matter how hard they work, there are structural
00:16:49.920 barriers working against them that just make the road longer and rockier. And sometimes it's almost
00:16:58.240 impossible to move upward at all. Because if you're required to work during a pandemic,
00:17:04.260 but don't have enough protective equipment or health insurance from your employer or paid sick
00:17:10.420 leave, well, what is more essential, your work or your life? There it is. There is the classic,
00:17:17.920 it's impossible, you can't succeed, America's never going to work for some people. It's interesting
00:17:23.920 that in this clip, she went back to the pandemic, because it seems to me that so many left-wing rioters,
00:17:29.340 peaceful rioters, have been ignoring the allegedly extraordinarily deadly pandemic,
00:17:34.240 for the past two, three weeks, as they've poured out by the 100,000 to protest, right? But then,
00:17:40.800 at that point, they ignored the pandemic. The public health officials said, it's actually good
00:17:45.400 to go protest, don't worry about the pandemic, we'll worry about the pandemic later. So it's
00:17:49.620 interesting that she focused on that, because it seems so odd. But it's also interesting that she,
00:17:53.580 the wife of the first black president, who was elected twice, talks about how America's hopelessly
00:17:59.320 racist, hopelessly unjust, there's no way to succeed. I mean, this is boilerplate left-wing
00:18:04.400 stuff. And what they have to do is tell you, as Americans, that you can't succeed. This place is
00:18:08.960 hopelessly unjust. You are simply useless. You can't do anything on your own, because it justifies
00:18:17.240 more and more policies that give them greater control over the country, that undermine our country's
00:18:21.940 political traditions and undermine your very ability to pull yourself up. That's where she begins. How
00:18:27.660 does she foment the kind of political action that she's calling for? She tells people to be angry.
00:18:34.640 Of you who feel invisible, please know that your story matters. Your ideas matter. Your experiences
00:18:45.000 matter. Your vision for what our world can and should be matters. So don't ever, ever let anyone
00:18:52.360 tell you that you're too angry, or that you should keep your mouth shut. Here's my message to the left
00:18:59.220 in America. You're too angry and you should keep your mouth shut. That's my, I know it's a different
00:19:04.540 message than Michelle Obama's giving you, but that is my message. The left pushes anger because when
00:19:11.560 people get really angry, they don't think straight because anger is an easy emotion. It's the easiest
00:19:18.840 emotion to play. It's the easiest emotion to live. Drew Clavin says that anger is the devil's cocaine.
00:19:24.780 Anger is the devil's cocaine. It unleashes bad things. In Italian culture, we have, especially
00:19:31.680 Sicilian culture, here in America, we have an expression which is don't get mad, get even.
00:19:36.760 Right? The idea being when you're angry, you're not, you're not going to be able to control yourself
00:19:40.740 as well. You're not going to be able to think as well. So get even, calm down that anger. But the
00:19:44.620 left encourages that anger because that anger makes you more easy to manipulate. You can see people
00:19:51.840 running on the absurdity of this anger all the way at some of the highest levels in government. AOC
00:19:56.900 recently used it to humiliate herself. We'll get to that in one second. First though, I have got to
00:20:02.180 thank our friends over at LifeLock. You know, the April 15th tax filing deadline was pushed off until
00:20:08.080 July 15th. You're probably relieved by this, right? Trouble is there's a downside. The extension also gives
00:20:13.880 additional time to fraudsters to mine for data that they can sell. So proactive approaches to
00:20:19.500 protection are more important than ever. After all, the government accountability office found
00:20:23.640 that fraudsters used false identities to steal at least $1.68 billion, billion with a B in tax
00:20:31.600 refunds in 2016. Everyone, every single day is at risk for these sorts of things. Every day we put
00:20:38.800 our information at risk on the internet. Cyber criminals around the world keep finding new ways
00:20:43.080 to steal identities. You could miss certain identity threats by just monitoring your credit.
00:20:47.300 But good thing there's LifeLock. Now look, no one can prevent all identity theft or monitor
00:20:51.880 all transactions at all businesses. But with LifeLock, you can see threats that you might miss
00:20:56.780 on your own. I trust these guys. These are the guys that I trust to protect my identity. Right now,
00:21:02.060 you can join and save up to 25% off your first year. The way to do that is go to lifelock.com
00:21:07.260 slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. That's lifelock.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S,
00:21:13.500 for 25% off. Get it now because this tax filing deadline is going to keep you vulnerable even
00:21:20.740 longer than you usually would be. Michelle Obama says, be angry, be angry, be angry.
00:21:27.020 Okay. And this clouds people's thinking. The best example of this I saw was AOC yesterday. AOC
00:21:32.780 complaining about how people weren't giving her enough adulation. AOC tweets out, quote,
00:21:39.860 the press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, wouldn't be the first person to mistake a woman of color
00:21:46.200 for having a lower position or title than she does. But Kayleigh, in case you haven't picked up
00:21:51.540 a newspaper in two years, I'm a congresswoman. So now I saw this tweet. I thought, wait,
00:21:58.140 did Kayleigh McEnany not refer to AOC by her title? I mean, you know, come on. Insisting on someone using
00:22:06.060 your own title is a silly thing and it's a prideful thing to do anyway, especially if
00:22:10.740 you're a congresswoman. But maybe she didn't do it because AOC went on. She goes, the press secretary
00:22:15.300 comment is steeped in a long, hurtful, and horrendous history of stripping women of color
00:22:20.360 of titles and diminishing them to the help. Perhaps she isn't aware that what she did is
00:22:25.500 mired in racist history. If that is the case, I look forward to her apology tomorrow. I said, gosh,
00:22:30.740 this press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, she is disrespectful and a racist. And what did she
00:22:36.940 do? The allegation is that the press secretary did not refer to AOC as a congresswoman. So is
00:22:45.620 that what really happened? Here's Kayleigh McEnany. The president is appalled by the defund the police
00:22:51.860 movement. The fact that you have sitting congresswomen wanting to defund the police, notably Rashida
00:22:58.140 Tlaib, notably Biden advisor, AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a former Clinton and Eric Holder
00:23:06.600 spokesperson, Brian Fallon, wanting to defund our police across this country. It is extraordinary.
00:23:13.560 Hold on, pause there. She referred to AOC as a congresswoman. She said, you've got prominent
00:23:21.360 congresswoman. Notably, she named some of the squad, notably AOC. She notes that in addition
00:23:28.840 to being a congresswoman, AOC is a Biden advisor because frankly, it's more impressive to be a Biden
00:23:34.600 advisor than it is to be a member of Congress, right? There are fewer Biden advisors than there
00:23:38.240 are members of Congress, but she actually gave her the title and AOC had to invent this reason
00:23:43.040 to be disrespected. The thing that's most frustrating about the AOC comment isn't even
00:23:48.700 constantly playing the victim, which AOC has to do. The left always has to do. It's just the
00:23:55.660 pridefulness of it. Do you remember there was that guy, Lieutenant Colonel Vindman? He's a liberal guy
00:24:01.780 and he was testifying and some congressmen referred to him as Mr. Vindman. They all refer to each other
00:24:06.920 as Mr. and Mrs., right? And Vindman said, excuse me, you need to refer to me as Lieutenant Colonel
00:24:13.220 Vindman. Give me a break, dude. Take a freaking chill pill. I promise you, try just one little
00:24:21.400 drop of humility. It will make your life better. If you live your life as someone who's very prideful
00:24:27.300 and you insist on all the accolades and you insist on getting every single thing you deserve and
00:24:31.500 constantly being praised and lauded, you will not live a very happy life. If you're just thinking
00:24:39.200 about every slight that ever occurs to you or non-slight in the case of AOC, imaginary slight,
00:24:44.200 you won't be very happy. But if you try a little, just a little touch of humility,
00:24:48.160 you will feel much better. You know, the best professors I know don't insist on being called
00:24:53.480 doctor or professor, okay? It's always the people who are lower down the totem pole or maybe their
00:24:59.540 credentials are not as impressive or maybe their work is not as impressive. They're the ones who insist
00:25:04.140 call me PhD, call me MD or something like that. It shows insecurity and it shows a real narcissism,
00:25:12.660 but it drives people crazy. This anger drives people crazy. There was a woman,
00:25:17.120 she went viral on the internet because she received an email for Trump supporters that said,
00:25:25.440 hey, you know, if you donate now, you'll get a free hat. That's what the whole email said.
00:25:28.580 Donate now, get a free hat. This woman has been worked up into such an angry, mad frenzy
00:25:35.100 that she was convinced, this was evidence that Donald Trump was Hitler and he was about to launch
00:25:41.040 another Holocaust. No, I'm not exactly the voice that people need to be hearing right now.
00:25:48.940 In fact, I need more confirmation that this is real. I've gotten some,
00:25:52.700 um, but I need more confirmation that this is real. Um, Trump supporters got an email
00:26:00.380 that said, this email is for patriots only. You've been identified as one of President Trump's fear
00:26:05.520 system as loyal defenders. And according to your donor file, you'd make an excellent addition to
00:26:10.220 the Trump army. It goes on to tell them that they would get a limited edition camo, keep America
00:26:15.100 to let them know that you are the president's first line of defense when it comes to fighting
00:26:21.940 off the liberal mob. I don't know if you know, Hitler made Jews wear yellow stars.
00:26:34.460 This feels like the reverse of that. I don't know if you know, I don't know if you know,
00:26:39.380 but Hitler had a hat. He did. He, I don't know if you know this, but he, he drank water too. And
00:26:44.860 Trump drinks water. And it's basically, it's basically 1930s Germany, except it's not. When
00:26:50.480 I watched this, I thought it was a joke. I thought it was satire. I thought this is, this is funny.
00:26:56.160 This is, this is the most ridiculous, exaggerated version of, of what the liberals do whenever Trump
00:27:02.800 does anything, including give away a hat. If you donate some money to his campaign. No, I was wrong.
00:27:06.880 I was wrong because she clarified later in a post after this went viral that she was dead serious.
00:27:13.600 Okay. So for me, at least this one frigging blew up and you'll notice that I also posted some other
00:27:20.420 ones all concerning the same thing, but that's not how the algorithm works. So I have been told.
00:27:25.600 So here's what basically went down. Me, a Jewish woman saw swastikas, all lives matter, lots of
00:27:31.900 propaganda, lots of other world war two kind of Hillary stuff. And so I also saw this email saying
00:27:38.700 that Trump supporters can donate to get this hat to form an army. A clarifying thing that I found
00:27:44.640 out from people is that just because you are a registered Republican does not mean that you've
00:27:47.980 got this email, but if you donated to the Trump campaign, then you got the email. Hitler did
00:27:53.160 something very, very similar, but sort of in the reverse order by making Jewish people wear a yellow
00:27:57.460 star. Whereas now we are asking Trump supporters to distinguish themselves with the special hat.
00:28:02.000 So yes, this freaked me out and it should freak you out too, because he is identifying who to
00:28:07.600 protect rather than just labeling the enemy.
00:28:10.640 So she's defending it. She's admitting, she was like, look, I know this went viral and everything,
00:28:17.220 but I know I'm serious. And here's, and here's why I reacted the way I did. I was totally right.
00:28:21.100 I reacted the way I did because Hitler actually did the same thing Trump did, except it was actually
00:28:25.000 the opposite. It was the opposite, but that's the fact that it was the opposite is what's so similar
00:28:29.180 about it. Because you see, I kid, she says, Hitler made Jews wear yellow stars, which is exactly like
00:28:38.340 Trump giving out hats to his supporters. And you know, you know, the craziest thing of all is if
00:28:46.260 you work yourself up into this sort of emotional frenzy that a left wing political leaders have
00:28:51.160 whipped their followers up into over the last few years, that actually makes sense. It actually,
00:28:56.540 I know that if you work yourself up into that state though, where you're ready to go off on a,
00:29:00.560 on a hair trigger, where you're so on edge, which by the way, we have been in this country for at
00:29:05.440 least two months now with these lockdowns with everything, then any little, even remote resemblance
00:29:11.400 to anything that, you know, any, basically any political action Trump could take will send you
00:29:15.680 off on that hair trigger. Believe it or not, that video was not the craziest thing to go around the
00:29:21.080 internet yesterday. That, that particular award goes to the Minneapolis city council president,
00:29:27.700 Lisa Bender, who, who was asked point blank, if you abolish the police, what happens if crimes are
00:29:33.680 being committed against you? Who do you call? And she said, Oh, what? 9-1-1? 9-1-1? That's a
00:29:37.320 privilege. We'll get to that in one second. First though, I've got to thank you. I got to thank you
00:29:40.820 guys. You, we did it. We, oh, we did it. We have passed Drew Clavin on the YouTube subscribers.
00:29:50.660 You know, he, he tried to beat us. He didn't even tell us that he was doing this. He got,
00:29:54.900 but then we pulled ahead. We flew past with 50,000 subs. Thank you so much for doing that.
00:30:01.360 Really appreciate it. That'll be fun to brag about when I have a stogie with Drew next time I'm on the
00:30:05.700 West coast. Head on over that, that YouTube channel. You know, we try to, we try to include some
00:30:10.400 extra content there. I have an exclusive interview with Timothy Gordon, who's pal of mine. He's a
00:30:14.360 writer and a podcaster. He was fired for having the audacity to criticize the radical leftist
00:30:20.120 Black Lives Matter movement. Also, look, you know, you know how insane this whole year has been.
00:30:26.720 And you know that the left-wing media has only made it worse. When you can't get the real story,
00:30:30.680 you got to go outside the narrative. You got to go get the facts. That is why we want to offer to you
00:30:35.800 the reader's pass. Now the reader's pass, usually about three bucks a month. Okay. Not,
00:30:40.080 not going to break the bank and you get exclusive insights and op-eds and articles and things on
00:30:44.780 the website. But for you, for you, amigo, I am going to offer that for 99 cents for your first
00:30:50.220 month. So head on over. That's a two thirds, more than a two thirds discount. You get mobile ad-free

00:31:02.240 of $1 for your first month. Best of all, your dollars are getting you the news you need without the
00:31:07.680 left to spin. Head on over to dailywire.com slash subscribe. Join today. We'll be back with a lot
00:31:12.760 more. So believe it or not, the video of the lady crying because president Trump's campaign gave their
00:31:30.360 donors free hats is not the craziest thing going around the internet. The craziest thing going
00:31:34.680 around the internet is this president of the Minneapolis city council, Alison Camerata on CNN,
00:31:39.640 asks her, Hey, wait a second. If someone breaks into my house to burgle me, to rape me, to harm me,
00:31:46.400 to shoot me, to who do I call? If you've abolished the police, we have a state action against our
00:31:53.660 police department, which gives us legal mechanisms in the very short term. You know, there's lessons
00:31:59.280 from all over the country, all over the world that we're looking to, um, to take immediate steps
00:32:04.020 while we work toward building the systems that we would need to imagine that, that future.
00:32:10.260 Do you understand that the word dismantle or police free also makes some people nervous? For instance,
00:32:17.020 what if in the middle of the night, my home is broken into, who do I call?
00:32:23.620 Yes. I mean, I, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors and I know, and myself too. And I
00:32:29.940 know that that comes from a place of privilege because for those of us, for whom the system is
00:32:35.000 working, I think we need to step back and imagine what it would feel like to already live in that
00:32:40.480 reality where calling the police may mean more harm is done. What? So where do, where do we even
00:32:50.180 begin on that one? It says, Hey, what do I do if you abolish the police? And I need the police to come
00:32:55.200 there to stop the person trying to kill me or anything. And she says, right, that's, that's
00:32:59.800 privilege. You need to understand that's a privilege. And so, and imagine, you know, imagine
00:33:04.560 the world in which, you know, the police coming is actually worse for you. So first of all, that's
00:33:09.400 not a world. There's no world in which people call the police and then the police coming is worse for
00:33:13.860 them than the criminal just, you know, continuing to attack them, take their stuff, shoot them,
00:33:19.660 whatever, right? That, that world doesn't exist. That's an imaginary world. But then the,
00:33:23.760 the promise here is now actually look, it's, it's privileged to be able to call 911 and have the
00:33:28.920 cops come and stop the criminal. You know, imagine, imagine a world that would be otherwise than that
00:33:33.160 world you're living in now. Uh, we don't have to imagine it cause you're abolishing the police.
00:33:36.400 So that's about to become a reality. That reality is uniformly worse for everybody. And only in the
00:33:42.140 insane fantasy world of the left, could that possibly be an improvement. Now, some people are
00:33:47.640 trying to spin this because it's so radical. It's so insane. This has been a demand of the Black Lives
00:33:52.720 Matter movement to defund the police, to dismantle the police. It is a radical, insane aim that
00:33:58.900 Marxists have been pushing for since the time of Karl Marx, but that no, no serious person ever
00:34:04.180 really thought was going to be able to be accomplished. Now it is going into effect.
00:34:10.740 People are trying to spin it. They're saying, no, we're really just talking about reform of the
00:34:14.620 police. No, we're really just talking about making the police a little bit better. Uh-uh, that's not what
00:34:19.360 we're talking about. They clarified. This woman went back on CNN and they said, are you talking
00:34:23.020 about reform? She says, no. But to be clear, you're not talking about reform. The word dismantle
00:34:30.120 is intentionally different than reform. This is more than reform. This is dismantling. I mean,
00:34:36.020 activists who support this are calling this a police free future.
00:34:40.380 Yeah. And, you know, a lot of us were asked if we could imagine a future without police back in 2017
00:34:47.200 when we were running for office. And I answered yes to that question. To me, that future is a long
00:34:53.480 way away and it would take an enormous amount of investment in things that we know work to keep
00:34:59.800 people safe. I mean, for a lot of folks in our community, stable housing is a safety issue.
00:35:04.620 Having access to health care is a safety issue. And so having, you know, I think one thing folks
00:35:10.980 are asking is to stop investing so much money in this militarized police force and instead invest
00:35:17.800 in the things that our community really needs. So, you know, I know the statement was bold and I stand
00:35:24.120 by that bold statement, but the work ahead of us will be long. It will include every member of our
00:35:29.560 community. It has to. The statement was bold. I stand by the bold statement. I'm not talking
00:35:35.920 about reform. I'm talking about abolishing the police. Now, CNN, like at least they've got a
00:35:40.800 few more brain cells to rub together than the Minneapolis city council. So they bring her on
00:35:44.160 again. They bring her on again on Chris Cuomo show. He goes, Hey, lady, you're making our jobs
00:35:48.820 harder. Please. Like, this is a utopian thing. Police free. It's not going to please just please say
00:35:54.660 that that's not what you really mean. She triples down. When you say you see someday being police
00:36:01.120 free, uh, that sounds aspirational in terms of a utopian concept where nobody's committing any crime
00:36:07.640 because as long as these communities are being preyed upon both from within and without,
00:36:12.520 there's going to have to be a good men and women willing to step up to keep people safe.
00:36:17.160 I think the idea of having a police free future is very aspirational. And I am willing to stand
00:36:24.740 with community members who are asking us to think of that as the goal because so many folks in our
00:36:31.740 community have seen us work on reform. Okay. Okay. So Cuomo strikes out Camerata strikes out
00:36:38.620 Cuomo strikes out. This is crucial guys. This is a crucial moment because for a while it was only the
00:36:44.720 radical fringe lunatics who would believe anything like this, the kind of, I've gone down to Marxist
00:36:49.240 protests. Okay. To film, to be part of it. And I mean, not to participate in it, but to antagonize
00:36:54.440 them and to, you know, cover what's going on. And that's the kind of stuff you would hear at the
00:36:58.580 radical Marxist protests. Now it is leaking into the mainstream of the democratic party in an election
00:37:02.660 year before a party convention. They're trying to move the presidential nominee. So it is crucial for
00:37:07.380 them to get these elected Democrats to stop talking about this. Camerata strikes out Cuomo strikes out.
00:37:13.220 Wolf Blitzer gives it one more try. He brings on a slightly more reasonable Democrat as well.
00:37:19.400 No dice. What happens if there's a criminal out there with a gun and start shooting people? Who's
00:37:25.000 going to respond if there's no police force? Look, it is our top priority to keep every single
00:37:32.000 member of our community safe. And if you look back at the last 150 years of our police department,
00:37:37.800 it is becoming increasingly clear that that model of policing isn't working. So we need to invite in
00:37:44.460 our whole community, the nine members of the city council that came from every corner of our city
00:37:49.320 to stand together to make this commitment. We don't have all the answers. And what we committed
00:37:54.940 to was a community process to help reimagine public safety. So yes, we still have a police department in
00:38:00.860 Minneapolis today. I hope it won't take 150 years to get to that looking forward, that next solution.
00:38:08.040 But we have a lot of wisdom in our community. We have invested in community-based safety strategies.
00:38:12.660 We did an analysis of all the reasons people call 911 in our city to look at ways we can have an
00:38:18.300 appropriate response. Yeah. Okay. So the policing isn't working. We're going to get rid of it.
00:38:23.280 I just make sure you take this point away. The left Democrats, elected Democrats are calling to
00:38:32.660 defund, to destroy, to dismantle the police. It's not about changing it. It's not about reform. That's
00:38:37.780 what they're going to tell you. Even though CNN struck out, they're going to keep telling you that
00:38:40.620 it's not what it's about. This woman could not have made herself clearer. Obviously it's insane.
00:38:44.880 The only problem with our police force right now is they're not arresting enough people.
00:38:47.980 We don't need to debunk anything about, about why it's wrong to abolish the police. We need to
00:38:53.280 debunk a different and more important line. It's one that's having real consequences around us. The
00:38:57.440 lie is this. We were told when we saw those videos of insane snowflakes in college, we were told,
00:39:02.880 oh, don't worry about them. Just wait until they grow up and graduate and get into the real world.
00:39:07.420 Then they'll realize how crazy they were. No, that's not what happened. They graduated. They're in the
00:39:14.180 real world and now they're shaping the real world. Now the effect of having this entire generation
00:39:19.100 of coddled, uncultured, uneducated people, radicalized left-wing people in the real world
00:39:25.340 is to have the effect of changing the real world, to try to abolish the police, to do lots of other
00:39:30.040 crazy things as well. We need to recognize the very pernicious effects of that craziness in college.
00:39:37.960 I've been talking about this for a long time now, how the educational system is directly
00:39:41.380 impacting our politics. Now we finally get to see it. Hopefully not too late. You saw this at
00:39:46.820 the New York Times. James Bennett, he was an op-ed editor at the New York Times. He had the audacity
00:39:51.800 to publish a column written by sitting Senator Tom Cotton on the pressing issue of the day. How do we
00:39:57.380 deal with the riots? It was a simple column. Tom Cotton said, yeah, we should use the National
00:40:01.460 Guard. We should use the troops to put down the riots. The editor who accepted that op-ed
00:40:06.860 just had to resign. And the New York Times issued a statement. James Bennett resigned on Sunday from
00:40:13.580 his job as the editorial page editor of the New York Times. The publisher, A.G. Salzberger says,
00:40:19.420 last week we saw a significant breakdown in our editing process, not the first we've experienced in
00:40:23.260 recent years. Both of us concluded that James would not be able to lead the team through the
00:40:27.460 next leg of change that is required. Now at the New York Times, the op-ed editor is not allowed to
00:40:32.800 accept op-eds from people who are not radical leftists. Huge change. Huge change. You think of
00:40:38.220 the difference between Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the modern slate of leftists is noticeable?
00:40:44.820 Consider this now. The op-ed page, which the point of it is to publish different people's opinions.
00:40:49.640 No longer allowed to publish different people's opinions. Speaking of different opinions,
00:40:53.700 I do have to get to this real quick. This is just on coronavirus. The World Health Organization
00:40:57.740 has a new update on coronavirus. You remember we were told initially, don't wear masks,
00:41:01.480 masks are bad. Then we were told you have to wear masks, masks are very important. First we were
00:41:04.940 told the virus spreads easily on surfaces. Then we were told the virus doesn't spread easily on
00:41:09.340 surfaces. Then we were told you can't go out because even if you don't have symptoms, the
00:41:12.500 asymptomatic people are the ones that are spreading the virus. You remember that? You remember that?
00:41:15.980 It was totally wrong. World Health Organization now saying that asymptomatic spread is very rare.
00:41:22.520 Coronavirus patients without symptoms aren't driving the spread of the virus. We have a total
00:41:26.020 breakdown here in the credibility of our mainstream media, of our political leaders,
00:41:31.240 and of our public health officials. There is no reason to believe anything that these people
00:41:35.540 tell you now. I wish that were not the case. I wish we could have some trust in our institutions.
00:41:39.820 We simply can't. They've changed their tune every five minutes on this whole thing.
00:41:45.200 Before we go to another campaign that's coming out of the left right now,
00:41:48.580 talking about changing their tune, this one was my favorite.
00:41:51.540 This is on a part of the BLM radical left movement that we're seeing here. It's called the
00:41:59.120 silence is consent campaign. Major celebrities, Sarah Silverman, Usher, Cara De La Vigne. I don't
00:42:07.700 know who that is, but she's somebody with a blue check mark or something. They're pushing this idea.
00:42:12.440 Silence is consent. Did you catch what's wrong with that? Did you catch the problem there?
00:42:18.160 Silence is most certainly not consent. Harvey Weinstein, I think, thinks that silence is
00:42:25.620 consent. Maybe Bill Cosby thinks that silence is consent. But the very same left that has spent now
00:42:32.260 several years in the Me Too movement talking about how there's a rape culture, there's widespread
00:42:36.580 rampant rape. The campus at Harvard University is more dangerous for women than Fallujah because
00:42:42.320 no one is getting consent. And even when women do give affirmative consent, sometimes that's not
00:42:47.180 really consenting. We got to be super duper careful. That same group of people is now saying
00:42:52.440 that silence is consent. Doesn't make any sense. Totally contradicts what they were saying before.
00:42:57.200 It doesn't matter. Why? Because anger is a very dangerous thing because people, when they get riled
00:43:04.340 up and crazed and hysterical in politics, they're much more easy to manipulate, especially by people
00:43:10.460 who have long-term radical goals in mind, long-term radical goals that they would not otherwise be able
00:43:16.040 to affect. They can do it when they whip people into the frenzy that you see all the way up to the
00:43:21.580 halls of Congress, all the way down to that crazy video of the lady talking about how Trump giving away
00:43:25.780 free hats is basically a new Holocaust. What do we do about this? I visited yesterday. I'm in
00:43:32.340 Washington, D.C. filming episodes of Verdict with Senator Cruz. I visited what is now called Black Lives
00:43:37.900 Matter plaza. It's the road right in front of the White House that the mayor of D.C. renamed.
00:43:41.280 And there were a lot of people out there. There's a lot of graffiti, a lot of damage because of all
00:43:45.920 the peaceful protesters and everything. One thing I noticed yesterday, this Black Lives Matter
00:43:52.060 movement, which is, I don't even want, because it's not about Black Lives mattering, I don't even
00:43:57.080 want to call it the Black Lives Matter movement. I'll call it BLM. The BLM movement is incredibly well
00:44:00.980 funded. It's incredibly well organized. They've raised millions and millions of dollars in just the
00:44:04.860 past few days. You can Google it. And they've got a lot more money before that. They've got major
00:44:10.200 donors, too. I know now what the left is saying is that it's a conspiracy theory to point out that
00:44:15.540 George Soros, the left-wing donor, is funding a lot of this. But it's just simply a fact. You can
00:44:21.780 look, the founders of the BLM movement all were working for organizations that were well funded by
00:44:27.240 the Open Society Foundation, which is George Soros' organization. It's not a surprise. Soros is the
00:44:31.840 most prominent, influential left-wing funder in the world. So obviously, a prominent left-wing
00:44:36.820 activist movement, he's going to be funding as well. The BLM movement is just so incredibly
00:44:42.820 dishonest, right? But it's effective. And it's effective in part because it's got this simple
00:44:46.640 phrase, Black Lives Matter, a phrase that nobody disagrees with, right? So how do we counter that?
00:44:53.160 There are two strategies. One is you can support the BLM organization, even though it's radically
00:44:57.720 leftist. This is like the Mitt Romney approach, right? You say, yeah, no, I'm with you guys, too. I mean,
00:45:02.160 I don't want to disband the cops and destroy the nuclear family, but no, I'm with you guys.
00:45:05.840 Try to be kind of a squish and go along and negotiate and come to a reconciliation with them.
00:45:11.480 Or we could start a rival organization. We could learn a little bit from the left,
00:45:16.000 which takes these innocuous phrases that people agree with and use those phrases to push down
00:45:20.200 a radical agenda that whips people up and kind of allows them to, gives them something to hold on to.
00:45:27.960 I think that's what the left, that's what the right rather has to do. We need to store a rival
00:45:32.420 organization, call it support black lives, support black people. I don't know, something like that.
00:45:37.780 An innocuous thing we all agree with that allows us to conserve some of our culture,
00:45:42.780 to push worthy goals. You know, the BLM movement is going to destroy the country. I mean, and by the
00:45:50.260 way, if BLM fizzles out, they'll take another issue. They'll go on to gender issues or they'll go on
00:45:55.140 to environmental issues or whatever, but it's going to be the same radical leftism behind it.
00:46:00.200 So what we ought to do is start learning from those tactics a little bit and give something
00:46:06.240 for people to hold on to as well. Call it support black people, call it support people of color,
00:46:11.420 call it support women, call it support the environment, whatever. But we've got to,
00:46:15.600 we've got to push in the other direction because it's very clear how fast this leftward lurch has been
00:46:21.340 accelerating. They've been effective at convincing people to go along with it. If we don't do
00:46:25.860 something, forget about pointing out all the hypocrisy, forget about pointing out how wrong
00:46:30.220 it is, forget about pointing out the dishonesty. If we don't actively do something to oppose it,
00:46:36.320 they're going to win. They're going to gain more left-wing ground. Look at how far they've come
00:46:39.940 already. All right, that's our show. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. I'll see you tomorrow.
